- 0:00the paranormal industry is dying it's dead it's
- 0:03becoming a ghost how's that for a cold open in
- 0:07this cold cold world wait is this the intro one
- 0:11welcome to our podcast where we take deep dives
- 0:19looking at various topics through a paranormal
- 0:22lens my name is ben my name is angela My name
- 0:31is Avery. What's with the accents? Did I say
- 0:34it with an accent? Yes, you did. My name is Bette.
- 0:39See, I didn't even know. I was just like... Oh
- 0:42my god. All of this is gonna be bloopers. It
- 0:48should be. For the listeners, we have been recording
- 0:53for like 10 minutes so far. At this point, everything
- 0:57is just like going in from here on out. Maybe
- 0:59we'll post 10 minutes worth of bloopers after,
- 1:02but starting now, bloopers are in. It's it. This
- 1:09is just our show. Hell yeah. Rock and roll. Yeah,
- 1:17rock and roll. As I was saying... In a weird
- 1:21accent for some reason. My name is Ben, and I'm
- 1:25joined by Angela and Brianna for a combined 30
- 1:29years. We have, yeah, me and Brianna have been
- 1:35paranormal investigating for eight years each.
- 1:37Oh, okay. Actually, that's eight. That's not
- 1:4230 years. That's not 30 years. I don't know what
- 1:46you're thinking. I didn't question it because
- 1:49I was like, wait. I thought, you see, in my head,
- 1:54I was like, 8 plus 8 plus 2, that's, you know,
- 1:58basically 10 three times. But that's not even
- 2:0110. It's 10 minus 2 is 8. And then you get to
- 2:0616. And that's only 18. How did I get to 30?
- 2:10That's a good question. So for a combined 18
- 2:15years, which is not as grandiose and exciting
- 2:19of a statement as it was when I said 30, but
- 2:22still, for people that are in their 20s, having
- 2:26a combined 18 years of experience in anything
- 2:28is impressive. We have been paranormal investigating,
- 2:33and it's really changed our outlook on life.
- 2:36Now we view most things through a paranormal
- 2:41lens. Paranormal Lens. Whoa, name drop. Name
- 2:49drop. That's our new name for our new podcast.
- 2:53This will be our flagship main podcast. So here
- 2:57on Paranormal Lens, we'll have weekly topics
- 2:59where whatever we're feeling like talking about
- 3:02in the week, we'll discuss. We may not. stay
- 3:07on topic over the course of the half hour of
- 3:11the episode. Angela is notorious for tangents,
- 3:15and Brianna, as you'll come to find out, is notorious
- 3:18for hating tangents. She loves to stay... Hey,
- 3:22I just like guiding the stream in a general direction.
- 3:26Yeah, you love your flows, and Angela loves...
- 3:30What are you doing, Angela? Uh... I just found
- 3:37this business card and I don't remember who this
- 3:43gave me it and I just read the back and what
- 3:45it said is that where did I read that? The price
- 3:50of sin is death. It has lots of side tangents.
- 3:59I just saw this and I'm like where the heck did
- 4:01this come from? And all it says on the back is
- 4:05The price of sin is death. What does the front
- 4:08say? It said Soundwave booth. Soundwave booth?
- 4:15Yeah, it's a business card. Hold on. Soundwave
- 4:20booth. It just literally was on my parents' coffee
- 4:25table. Okay, so the Soundwave booth. They make
- 4:40tumblers and hats and frames, it says, and they
- 4:45engrave each thing with faith, family, and freedom
- 4:50slogans. Yeah, that makes sense. Okay, got it.
- 4:59Okay, sorry, that really confused me. I mean,
- 5:04that's really on brand. We're trying to introduce
- 5:06our podcast, and we've spent more time talking
- 5:09about, what was the name of that? Sound? Sound
- 5:12booth. Sound booth. We've spent more time. At
- 5:16this point, we should just say how to find sound
- 5:19booth, because clearly that's what Angela wants
- 5:21to talk about today. Sound wave booth. You can
- 5:28find them at, oh, God, this is a. I'm not going
- 5:33to read this whole website. Jack Vaughn. I think
- 5:37if someone is super interested, they can definitely
- 5:40just Google it. That's so true. You know, I listen
- 5:43to podcasts while driving, Brianna. It's very
- 5:46careless and hazardous to recommend people Google
- 5:49while driving. Don't Google it now. Google it
- 5:55later when you get home or to your destination.
- 5:58Don't be a Ben. What? What do I do? Meaning you
- 6:03would look it up while you're driving. No, I
- 6:06wouldn't. Yes, you would. Not in Michigan. You
- 6:11can't even tap your phone anymore in Michigan.
- 6:15You're incriminating me. Everyone ignore that.
- 6:19Ben follows the rules. Yes, Ben follows all the
- 6:23laws. Yes, every time I take a... Out driving
- 6:31to the crossroads of curiosities. Vroom vroom!
- 6:38Another name drop. Yeah, because that's our business.
- 6:43Okay. Let's get back to business. We have created
- 6:49this flagship podcast that you are hopefully
- 6:53still listening to called Paranormal Lens. We'll
- 6:58have... Occasional project updates for all the
- 7:00fun things we're working on. We'll have weekly
- 7:03topics for things that are perhaps timely or
- 7:09things that we're just thinking about that maybe
- 7:12don't warrant a full feature film made about
- 7:15them. What are some future topics? Curses? Curses,
- 7:20anyone? Vampires. Vampires, anyone? I know two
- 7:25big hitters that probably do warrant. films of
- 7:29their own, but as we'll discuss in each of those,
- 7:31there are existing films about those topics that
- 7:35already exist. Hence why they're existing, because
- 7:39they exist. No, really? Yeah. Unlike ghosts,
- 7:45ghosts don't exist. Maybe that's a topic for
- 7:48another day. Do we believe in ghosts? Or maybe
- 7:50we can do that now for this supposed to be an
- 7:53intro to our podcast episode. We've been doing
- 7:57this for a combined 30 years, give or take 12
- 8:01years. Is that right? 30 minus 12? Yes. 18. We're
- 8:07getting there. In these 18 years, what's the
- 8:14one question everyone asks? The first thing they
- 8:19think to ask. Do you believe in ghosts? That's
- 8:23number two. Do you believe in ghosts? And then
- 8:25they say, well, have you ever seen one? Well,
- 8:30have you, Ben? Do shadow figures count as ghosts?
- 8:39Because then I would say yes. That's a great
- 8:42question. Do shadow figures count as ghosts?
- 8:45I mean... I would say they fall within the realm
- 8:52of the unnatural and paranormal that does not
- 8:58follow the lines of what we physically understand
- 9:03and could classify as an entity or a ghost. I
- 9:13would still say that if you see an unexplained
- 9:20shadow that's unexplained phenomena a ghost to
- 9:28me we need to find what a ghost is before we
- 9:31can answer this question what is a ghost that's
- 9:36a great question and a hard one because there's
- 9:42so many different factors into defining what
- 9:49is a ghost because on one hand like angela said
- 9:53you got shadow figures on the other hand you
- 9:56got full body apparitions that sometimes have
- 10:00features sometimes don't you have um even humans
- 10:10and inhuman noises and sounds and do they come?
- 10:17I want to hear an example of an inhuman noise,
- 10:20an inhuman sound. A pardero dactyl noise. Like
- 10:24a growl or something. We should give the listeners
- 10:28a true audio. No? No. It could be like a or it
- 10:36could be like a or it could be like a or it could
- 10:41be like a Sure. Great job, Angela. What the hell?
- 10:50See, personally, I was thinking more of a That
- 10:54sounds like it would be a goblin under a bridge.
- 11:01That's an inhuman sound, yes. There's nothing
- 11:04human about a goblin. And no humans hang out
- 11:07under the bridge. That's what a goblin sounds
- 11:11like. Brianna, you can... Oh, I see your dog
- 11:18is in the chat. I'm not adding that. Yes, she
- 11:20has. Does your dog want to make demon noises?
- 11:23Can she bark into the microphone? Not today.
- 11:26Oh, she's stealing things off the table. But
- 11:31anyways, that's my main point. Why I brought
- 11:35up the question to begin with is... an inhuman
- 11:41entity uh that that was never alive and is i
- 11:46just thought of the word i was thinking of when
- 11:49i said inhuman voice i meant um disembodied voice
- 11:53oh okay well that's very different but like it's
- 11:58very different um it has nothing to do with my
- 12:02my point which is i'm sorry it just happens my
- 12:05brain all of us making noises would not have
- 12:08happened I mean, this entire podcast medium is
- 12:16one long disembodied voice to the people listening
- 12:19to this. Are we hearing ghosts or just hearing
- 12:24podcasts from another dimension? Maybe sometimes.
- 12:31Well, okay, so remember when we were... Doing
- 12:38the project. With Tommy Tombstone. For his new
- 12:41documentary. And we heard. Riley and Trevor's.
- 12:50Like. Podcast intro. Coming through the spirit
- 12:54box ones. Maybe that's coming from a different
- 12:56dimension. That is right. Trevor and Riley. Of
- 13:00the acclaimed. What goes bump podcast. Joined
- 13:05us on this investigation. we heard a voice that
- 13:09sounded like them come through the spirit box
- 13:12and say in this weird tone that they don't ever
- 13:15use. Oh, it sounded like them. Yeah, it was their
- 13:18voice, but they said it in this weird tone. Yeah.
- 13:21In this weird cadence. Way like they wouldn't
- 13:22use. So, like, the definition of uncanny. And,
- 13:28um, so maybe that, maybe all podcasts that exist
- 13:32have a, uh, thinking like the, uh, white lodge
- 13:36black lodge like there's like a flipped like
- 13:39an inverse like there's this shadow dimension
- 13:41version of it that exists um that would be very
- 13:46lynching i think um anyways going back to what
- 13:52is a ghost we're all avoiding the topic clearly
- 13:55because what i was trying to propose yeah we
- 13:58don't know because if something wasn't ever alive
- 14:02Is that a ghost or is that just some other phenomena?
- 14:04Because the way I compartmentalize it is I think
- 14:10of a ghost as a person that was once alive that
- 14:13is now no longer alive. They are in the TikTok
- 14:19lingo, they are unalived. And when an unalived
- 14:21person is somehow still able to communicate with
- 14:24the living, that's a ghost, right? A spirit,
- 14:29someone. of this earth don't have a body but
- 14:33you can still communicate with them now where
- 14:35does residual energy fit into that i think that
- 14:38is just energy i won't call that a ghost and
- 14:40where does inhuman entities uh you know there's
- 14:44all these entities we've encountered other people
- 14:46encountered uh where do they fit into that i
- 14:49don't think that's a ghost i think that's something
- 14:51else but it's all under this paranormal umbrella
- 14:56i think that's a good way to put it I mean, I
- 15:01still kind of see ghosts as just like a whole
- 15:04I can't think of the word like a group of entities
- 15:12that don't have a physical form or body or something
- 15:20like that. I think that also is encompassed in
- 15:24that umbrella of the paranormal and ghosts so
- 15:32well because it's also slippery slope to say
- 15:35anything that's unexplainable as a ghost because
- 15:39then you need to know what a ghost is yeah well
- 15:42i'm not saying everything that's unexplainable
- 15:44oh yeah yeah i'm just saying people in general
- 15:47like when your emf meter beeps because it measured
- 15:52two milligrams you know anomalous unexplained
- 15:56energy It's not a ghost. First of all, what is
- 16:03a ghost? If you think a ghost is a person that
- 16:05has died and is now communicating with you, did
- 16:09you just prove that there's a dead person standing
- 16:13in front of you? No, but anyways, I digress.
- 16:18I think the answer to the question of if I've
- 16:21seen a ghost would be no. I've seen some unexplainable
- 16:26phenomena. that defies physics and logic. Another
- 16:31thing with shadow figures that we didn't explicitly
- 16:34state is that they inherently defy physics because
- 16:39they're often free float. When you have a shadow
- 16:45that's cast a view on a wall, two things are
- 16:48happening. One, light is hitting you. There's
- 16:52a light source, and then it gets cast on a shadow.
- 16:55Your shadow doesn't fucking Peter Pan around
- 16:57and come off the wall and dance in circles. These
- 17:02shadow figures, there's often no explainable
- 17:06light source to cause a shadow, and they're free
- 17:09-floating. They're not against a wall. They're
- 17:11like in the middle of a hallway. So, that's weird.
- 17:17But is it a dead person? I don't know. I believe
- 17:23in ghosts, right? But I don't believe... I don't
- 17:28believe I can state definitively if I've seen
- 17:31one, because I don't know... The reason they're
- 17:33unexplained is, like, all the shit we've seen
- 17:36defies explanation. If it was a ghost, that would
- 17:41be an explanation. Yeah, I think that's a good
- 17:48way to put it. Because when you put it that way...
- 17:51I've seen shadow figures, but I don't know that
- 17:55I've necessarily seen a ghost. I've seen no apparitions
- 18:00of anything before. And I feel like most people
- 18:04don't. I mean, it happens, but most people don't,
- 18:09I feel like. They do every five minutes on TV.
- 18:14Evidently, yeah. Bitch. In case you guys were
- 18:18unaware. the the news of the day i just saw this
- 18:21a couple hours ago and i texted it to you guys
- 18:24i was like we need to talk about this on this
- 18:26on this uh on this pod as the kids say we have
- 18:29a pod um chip coffee the renowned uh famous psychic
- 18:37medium he made a post i mean we already knew
- 18:40this or at least i already knew all the stuff
- 18:42he said it wasn't anything new to me but it's
- 18:45really catching a lot of a lot of steam, a lot
- 18:48of traction, getting a lot of reactions, he flat
- 18:51out said, paranormal TV shows are dead. The industry
- 18:57is dead. Yeah. No one is funding or producing
- 19:04new shows. No networks are investing in paranormal
- 19:11content. The only... Network -based paranormal
- 19:15shows, and this is a quote from him, the only
- 19:18network -based paranormal shows that are still
- 19:21continuously creating new episodes are Ghost
- 19:22Adventures because it continues to be popular
- 19:25and makes money for the network, and Paranormal
- 19:27Call on Camera because it is very inexpensive
- 19:29to produce. End quote. I forgot about that show.
- 19:34Yep. And, you know, goes on to talk more about,
- 19:38like, trends in media, and obviously there was
- 19:41a big surge of every... person on the internet
- 19:46um was offered it seemed a deal for a paranormal
- 19:51tv show we can go into if you want we were even
- 19:54almost on a tv show back in college um oh yeah
- 19:57i actually keep forgetting about that whole situation
- 20:01yeah what i don't um well yeah it was before
- 20:05we met you but we were uh brianna and i met at
- 20:09michigan state university at the paranormal club
- 20:12they have their Surprisingly, it's one of the
- 20:15largest paranormal clubs in the Midwest, and
- 20:18they were doing a reboot. I think we can say
- 20:21this. The NDAs probably are. I have no idea.
- 20:25All right, well, they can sue us if they want.
- 20:29It's not like they're making the show anymore.
- 20:32The industry is dead, but they were going to
- 20:36do a new reboot of Paranormal State, the TV show
- 20:42out of... Penn State, I believe, where they were
- 20:45college ghost hunters, and they were going to
- 20:47do this whole thing. Ryan was going to be back
- 20:50on the show and, like, mentoring these groups,
- 20:52and they were casting paranormal groups based
- 20:57out of colleges around the country to find the
- 20:59new, I don't know if they had, like, a name for
- 21:03their gang, but the new spooky school gang, you
- 21:07know, so I'll just go with that. Anyways, they...
- 21:12we went pretty far in the casting we went through
- 21:14like three rounds of interviews signed one round
- 21:19of contracts but then the next batch of contracts
- 21:22they were not good we didn't like them so we
- 21:27decided to step away from the show and it's a
- 21:28good thing we did because yeah there's a lot
- 21:32of infighting i guess amongst the producers of
- 21:34the show and like i guess having to deal with
- 21:36like the rights and who owned it and and this
- 21:39has been verified since that would have been
- 21:41a whole mess yeah and it never got off the ground
- 21:46but anyways we almost were on on a show that's
- 21:52okay we're good yeah um we're much better off
- 21:57not and then i've spoken to people that were
- 21:59on paranormal state like the cast of the og show
- 22:05and i told them about this and they're like yeah
- 22:08good thing you didn't sign that contract like
- 22:11you're better off um but i guess like that's
- 22:15kind of if the industry is dead and it really
- 22:19is like if you go on any uh um tv show pitch
- 22:23sites like there's companies that distribute
- 22:26tv shows and pitch them to networks they all
- 22:29say like in big letters like we are not currently
- 22:32seeking paranormal or ghost hunting TV. I feel
- 22:39like the reason for that is because when there
- 22:44was a bunch of the shows, they were kind of all
- 22:48the same. There was nothing new coming up. Yeah,
- 22:54exactly. The thing with the paranormal field
- 22:56is it is hard to escape. the mindset and same
- 23:05um basic flow of what a paranormal show is like
- 23:12go into it expecting that this is what it's going
- 23:16to be they're gonna go film at this spooky haunted
- 23:19place maybe have something happen and collect
- 23:23some evidence and it's never it's it's almost
- 23:28never like new like yeah you get some new interesting
- 23:32historical facts so maybe something spooky happens
- 23:36and they actually catch something on camera which
- 23:38happens like what maybe seven percent of the
- 23:42time like an actual compelling piece of evidence
- 23:46but it's it's repetitive unfortunately well because
- 23:53every every show utilizes the same you know five
- 23:56-act structure they all begin with uh you know
- 24:00like you said different history different tidbits
- 24:03different facts and maybe each show will have
- 24:06the same or you know same type of people but
- 24:08different faces swapped out right you have the
- 24:11uh and each crew you have the jason hawes you
- 24:15have the grant wilson you have the uh you know
- 24:18is all the same type of person just a different
- 24:21person um they all begin driving up to the location
- 24:26they go on their walkie -talkies they uh they
- 24:30act like they've never heard of the location
- 24:31before they get the history they do an investigation
- 24:34and analyze the evidence they reveal the evidence
- 24:37and then they move on to the next and that's
- 24:39every show and there's not really like yeah no
- 24:45meaning to it too it's like they do the investigation
- 24:47and then it just ends never yeah Well, it's a
- 24:52produced TV show that's really easy narrative
- 24:57arc. You know, when you look at an investigation,
- 25:01what's the narrative? What's the story? That's
- 25:04the story. And then when you have a TV show,
- 25:06they need to batch record this. So you're doing
- 25:11like hundreds of episodes and maybe 10 make it
- 25:14to air. So it's very rigorous and fast -paced.
- 25:17The one paranormal show I think really... did
- 25:21it differently i mean it was still kind of the
- 25:24same base pattern of history investigation reveal
- 25:29evidence but they i can get different and i really
- 25:35enjoyed the show and it was uh dead files um
- 25:38because it it it very much came at it from a
- 25:42different direction because they had two two
- 25:44lead hosts one was a psychic who went into the
- 25:47investment into the location knowing absolutely
- 25:50nothing about it. And these weren't like famous
- 25:53places like Pennhurst or the big facilities.
- 25:58They were people's homes. Heck yeah, that's cool.
- 26:01So the psychic would go in, know no history,
- 26:05reveal what she felt as she was going through
- 26:08the house. The other host was a retired detective
- 26:12and he was the one who went in and did all the
- 26:15historical research, talked to the people, went
- 26:17through the files. went and dug in the history
- 26:20and at the end they came together and did the
- 26:23evidence reveal but they compared what they found
- 26:26in their own investigations and sometimes it
- 26:31matched sometimes it didn't but from there they
- 26:34would actually help them move to the next steps
- 26:37of what they should do to like get rid of what
- 26:41was there or make themselves more comfortable
- 26:44that sort of thing I felt like that show pushed
- 26:46the boundaries. That was a very interesting show,
- 26:49even though it followed the same pattern. I'm
- 26:53not sure if they're still doing that show, honestly.
- 26:57No, I think that's one of those shows that went
- 27:00to... They never got officially cancelled or
- 27:04canned, so to speak, but they just never started
- 27:06again. Got renewed, yeah. But yeah, I mean, you
- 27:09can... that story structure is tried and true
- 27:13because it works um and it works and it works
- 27:16because it's also malleable and flexible and
- 27:19you can come at it with new angles if you really
- 27:23wanted to and if people wanted to give you money
- 27:27because that's another thing too if you are pitching
- 27:29to a network and you have this crazy new idea
- 27:31are they willing to give you money to fund a
- 27:36whole show based on this idea that's not proven
- 27:38or if you use the base story arc and narrative
- 27:42that that's proven to work like we're doing this
- 27:44but you know um and angela just disappeared where
- 27:48do you go angela that's her dog by the way um
- 27:54she's letting her dog out who let the dogs out
- 27:57who who who who angela then brianna the owl that's
- 28:05who But anyways, yeah, the five -act structure,
- 28:09this whole, you know, what every show does, we're
- 28:15not interested in that. What we put out, for
- 28:22example, we just put out a short film called
- 28:25The Possession Tape. Most things we put out,
- 28:30because we've held on to this footage for like
- 28:34a year now. In a year? It's been like eight,
- 28:40six, eight months. Eight months. Almost a year.
- 28:43Almost a year. Most people would have just put
- 28:45it out. This is gold clickbait material. The
- 28:50first and only time we've witnessed a potential
- 28:54partial possession. Most people would have got
- 29:01that footage and just jumped right on it. Clickbait.
- 29:04Heck yeah. um possession caught on camera investigation
- 29:08gone wrong almost died blackout oh no okay nobody
- 29:12almost died that's a little dramatic not clickbait
- 29:16gone wrong gone levitated no i didn't if if we
- 29:25if someone levitated that would have gone on
- 29:27tick tock immediately Yeah. Oh, yeah. People
- 29:30wouldn't believe it if you put it on TikTok,
- 29:33though. They'd be like, oh, good effects, or
- 29:35where's the string? I don't know. Yeah. That
- 29:40video would have gotten, like, three views, because
- 29:44TikTok would have been like, this is unsafe behavior.
- 29:50Don't recommend encouraging this behavior. It
- 29:53would have been, like, flagged. God fucking damn
- 29:55it. Levitation. uh gone wrong unalived on camera
- 30:01that that would have been allowed to say but
- 30:03um anyways um point being we didn't post it for
- 30:10two reasons one it's very sensationalistic and
- 30:15clickbaity as it is and two we only do things
- 30:19and post things beyond social media posts you
- 30:23know there's social media posts that you know
- 30:25whatever you know that's not there's no There's
- 30:28no weight to that. But when you put out a film,
- 30:30that's like a film that's different than like
- 30:32a social media post of, hey, we just went to
- 30:34this, you know, location. When we put out a film,
- 30:38we got to be saying something with it. We're
- 30:40not interested in doing this five -act structure
- 30:44where, you know, we say the same story, just
- 30:47swap out the faces, swap out the places. We're
- 30:49not interested in just putting out just clickbaity
- 30:52BS. we had nothing to say with this well i mean
- 30:57what you put out a the possession tape and we
- 31:00just talk about if we think it was a real possession
- 31:05or like that's not a story now yeah we're at
- 31:08a place and it's coinciding with you know our
- 31:11big relaunch that was kind of the the the the
- 31:14inception of the project was like hey we're doing
- 31:17this big relaunch we're gonna relaunch this podcast
- 31:19it would be great to have some sort of film out
- 31:22there and since it was all essentially archival
- 31:27material just with some new commentary and voiceover
- 31:30it took really quick to conceive and then create
- 31:33i've only been editing it for like a week now
- 31:36and uh i saw the first minute it was really good
- 31:40yeah i couldn't even believe that it was so beautiful
- 31:45yeah i'm like even though i was there and i filmed
- 31:49most of it i'm like What's it going to look like?
- 31:55What's it going to be? I'm so interested. There's
- 32:00a lot more than just the possession tapes to
- 32:02it. Yeah, because it's kind of deceptive in a
- 32:05way. For the listeners who haven't caught on,
- 32:08we're recording this on Wednesday. I announced
- 32:12that I'm going to drop the film on Friday. That's
- 32:15two days from now. i'm not done with it yet so
- 32:20yeah so you and angela haven't seen it um it's
- 32:26being worked on um anyways um it's kind of deceptive
- 32:34in a way as you guys will see because uh the
- 32:39possession that's in the name the possession
- 32:42tape only makes up about like a little less than
- 32:47half of this The film. Wait, how long is the
- 32:51film? Well, it's not done yet. Probably around
- 32:5525 -30 minutes. Okay. That's a good little length.
- 33:00I like it. Yeah, that's a nice cute short film.
- 33:04Yeah, but nice and cute. Maybe a possession in
- 33:07there. Who knows? Nice and cute. Very cutesy.
- 33:13So cute. Angela would say I was, you know, for
- 33:17listeners, we're dating. But she might say I'm
- 33:21cute even when I'm possessed. Yeah. Oh, I wasn't?
- 33:27You were kind of creepy, I'm going to be honest.
- 33:31Well, I take that back. I thought she liked creepy.
- 33:34I do like creepy, but like... I did it all for
- 33:37you! I can't say you were cute 100 % if that
- 33:42wasn't for you, by the way. I got possessed for
- 33:45you and you didn't even appreciate it. Oh my
- 33:49god. The drama. Drama. We don't do that drama
- 33:56shit. Let's move on. Drop it while it's hot.
- 34:00Is that what they say? Drop it while it's hot?
- 34:04I don't think that's what they're saying. Let's
- 34:06grab our mics and just drop them. No, that would
- 34:09be a horrible sign. We're going to make them
- 34:11all deaf. How can we have listeners to a podcast
- 34:15if we make them all deaf on the first episode?
- 34:18Like, hey, I know you're deaf and all, but keep
- 34:20listening, please. Oh my goodness. Anywho, the
- 34:27point of this whole mention of the possession
- 34:31tapes was now... You know, it just so happens
- 34:34to coincide with our relaunch, but we actually,
- 34:37or I actually have something to say with it now.
- 34:39And there's kind of a point to it. It's not just
- 34:41a dropping possession. Ooh, possession. Because
- 34:47the point is not to sensationalize a potential
- 34:51possession. Maybe it's kind of framed as we were
- 34:57getting a little dark in some of the stuff we
- 35:01were... doing and we're relaunching we're going
- 35:05in maybe a better direction a different direction
- 35:09you know so there's like a dark dark things are
- 35:16getting dark but that's a story for another day
- 35:18not just dark dark dark dark dark yeah anywho
- 35:24we're looking to the future for better brighter
- 35:29things Better and brighter. So with that, I look
- 35:36forward to getting into these main topics. I
- 35:40think next week we are. No, we're not. Brianna,
- 35:45you have a cool topic. Yeah. Yeah. I think we're
- 35:48going to talk about haunted locations and if
- 35:53they should ever. When is enough? When is enough
- 35:56for paranormal locations or haunted locations?
- 35:58And should. haunted locations actually be retired
- 36:02at some point. So we're having a retirement party
- 36:06next week. I hope you guys join. You're all invited.
- 36:13We don't know how to end this podcast. We didn't
- 36:15discuss this. How are we ending this? I think
- 36:21that's something to figure out for next time.
- 36:23Okay. Why do I look so scared? Thanks for listening!
- 36:28I'm so scared. I'm scared that having an unresolved
- 36:35ending leaves me uneasy. It's just a reflection
- 36:39on life. And it's mirroring reality. You could
- 36:45say something to close the podcast. Like, thanks
- 36:49for listening. Hope you come back next week.
- 36:53We will be more prepared next time. Well, we
- 36:56have a real topic. exactly we'll have a real
- 36:58topic and have an actual intro and you know talk
- 37:04about things thank you for showing up everyone
- 37:07and remember come back next time the paranormal
- 37:13industry is dead but we're alive still very much
- 37:17alive we woke up and we are having our second
- 37:20coming we are we are re -entering the paranormal
- 37:25universe In ruins. It's in shambles. This is
- 37:31the apocalypse. They're not funding paranormal
- 37:34content. But here we are. We have our armor.
- 37:39We have our... What is... Light to guide the
- 37:44way. What do the zombies do when they come back
- 37:47to life? They don't have armor. They eat your
- 37:49brains. We're gonna eat your brains. Run! People,
- 37:56run! We're coming for your brains! We'll come
- 37:58back next week for a very intellectual conversation
- 38:01about if Haunted Location is to retire or not.
- 38:04See you then. Bye! Bye!
