- 0:28Speaker 1: That's that's not yurie. Is it no time for that?
- 0:31Speaker 3: We need? We don't have time for I mean, what
- 0:36Speaker 3: is welcome to ILLINOI.
- 0:38Speaker 1: E Urry, are you here? Because that pretty lady Karen's here?
- 0:42Speaker 3: Who is this one?
- 0:44Speaker 2: One day he'll learn her name.
- 0:47Speaker 3: I just.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Maybe he wasn't allowed back into Russia with Rose last
- 0:54Speaker 1: week either.
- 0:55Speaker 2: Yeah, just changed your name to Dave in the eighties.
- 1:00Speaker 3: Wan't to talk about it, I have to go.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Okay by Iry, looks like he had to go.
- 1:06Speaker 1: That's fine.
- 1:07Speaker 2: That's one of the characters you'll find on The Fink
- 1:08Speaker 2: Show kids, in case you're so lost.
- 1:12Speaker 1: If you're lost, then all right, Well we're here to
- 1:21Speaker 1: talk about golden girls and just sharing each other's glorious company.
- 1:25Speaker 1: So hi, friends, welcome back.
- 1:27Speaker 2: Aaron and John Fink came back.
- 1:32Speaker 3: Couldn't get rid of us?
- 1:34Speaker 2: Waited a whole week they did. I'm not lying.
- 1:38Speaker 1: They must be. Uh is your last name Carter? Because
- 1:42Speaker 1: welcome back?
- 1:43Speaker 2: Oh hey, Gabe Kaplan, what's what's been new in your world?
- 1:51Speaker 2: They invent any new numbers, Karen.
- 1:54Speaker 4: No, all the numbers are the same. They just it's
- 1:58Speaker 4: like my job as a big circle.
- 2:00Speaker 3: You mean they didn't imagine any new numbers, imaginary numbers?
- 2:06Speaker 2: Now do you look like she deals with those?
- 2:08Speaker 1: Do you understand prime math or prime numbers or the
- 2:13Speaker 1: new math?
- 2:14Speaker 5: What's that core math?
- 2:16Speaker 3: Oh? Common?
- 2:17Speaker 2: Thank you called common? This sounds like a rap style.
- 2:22Speaker 1: I don't like yo yo yo, it's Mathew fools.
- 2:26Speaker 2: What is common core?
- 2:27Speaker 4: Tell me I haven't really attempted it.
- 2:30Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 2:31Speaker 4: I don't know what they're teaching the kids these days.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Yeah, so if I had a kid, I wouldn't be
- 2:35Speaker 2: able to help them with their math. I'd be like,
- 2:37Speaker 2: I don't fucking know what this is.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Yes, honestly, I've watched some videos of it, and as
- 2:45Speaker 3: somebody that's tutored you know, math and community college before,
- 2:49Speaker 3: it's it should be something that you should know how
- 2:54Speaker 3: to do. Okay, if you understand the concept already. It's
- 2:59Speaker 3: one of those things the way they teach it to
- 3:01Speaker 3: you the first time isn't the right way to teach
- 3:05Speaker 3: it to someone the first time. It's like, really, the
- 3:08Speaker 3: teaching method would be much better served to like, oh,
- 3:11Speaker 3: you think you know math? Huh, give this a shot,
- 3:15Speaker 3: rather than Hey, this is addition and this is subtraction.
- 3:18Speaker 2: So like you think I could get to the answer, still,
- 3:21Speaker 2: it just have to. It's just think about it different.
- 3:24Speaker 3: Yeah, It's like if you wanted to go to the
- 3:25Speaker 3: seven to eleven down the street, except you wanted to
- 3:28Speaker 3: take like three separate freeways.
- 3:30Speaker 2: To get It's also it's stupid they make you show
- 3:35Speaker 2: your work.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Yes, yes, and that's good. I agree, But there's also
- 3:43Speaker 3: something to be said for being able to do stuff
- 3:45Speaker 3: in your head quickly and just get the right answer
- 3:48Speaker 3: and get to it.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Oh is that what it is? They want it all
- 3:51Speaker 2: written out instead.
- 3:52Speaker 3: Yeah, but they want it written out in a way
- 3:54Speaker 3: that's just this weird roundabout way that doesn't seem very practical. Okay,
- 4:00Speaker 3: so anyway.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't like it. I just pulled up.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Stop ruining math. Make math great again? WHOA make math
- 4:10Speaker 2: math again?
- 4:11Speaker 1: Yep, that's better.
- 4:12Speaker 5: That's better.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Better.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Let's just go with the British maths.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Very one about Well, I mean, nothing kills the conversation
- 4:27Speaker 1: quite like math, you guys, Sorry about that, Katie Herron.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Right now, somewhere is like math is the only.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Thing the.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Language the lips does not exist. Oh my god. Oh
- 4:42Speaker 1: you guys, well, are you excited to get a little
- 4:46Speaker 1: bit more golden girly and talk about this episode a smitch?
- 4:53Speaker 2: I can't wait to get your guys opinion on this one.
- 4:56Speaker 2: This has another like, uh so sign what topic that
- 5:03Speaker 2: is relevant? Again as it was then more relevant?
- 5:06Speaker 1: Probably yeah, yeah, I you don't have time and we
- 5:12Speaker 1: won't pause the show for you. But I was talking
- 5:15Speaker 1: to Bill Mannus about this when we were doing our show,
- 5:20Speaker 1: because I said, you're never gonna guess what these do
- 5:24Speaker 1: are about this, Like these next couple, you know, because
- 5:27Speaker 1: we filmed them super far apart, not together. This is
- 5:30Speaker 1: not so once a week, once a week we meet.
- 5:32Speaker 1: This is live. You're listening live, yas I edit it, welcome,
- 5:36Speaker 1: Like yeah, the way.
- 5:38Speaker 3: You have something on your face, listener, if you could
- 5:39Speaker 3: just kind.
- 5:40Speaker 2: Of yeah, we know who won the super Bowl?
- 5:42Speaker 1: It was and so let me just say that. He
- 5:49Speaker 1: was like that's wild, and I was like, yeah, so
- 5:52Speaker 1: keep that in mind, y'all.
- 5:55Speaker 2: A little nugget there.
- 5:57Speaker 3: I'm a big fan of nuggets.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Vegan nuggets, getting where it has chicken, where it's chi
- 6:04Speaker 2: k apostrophe, Chigain. It's a terrible.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, well you want to give us a
- 6:13Speaker 1: little bit of insider scoop for the beginning.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Yes, we are on season three, episode seven, which is
- 6:21Speaker 2: called Strange Bedfellows. The original air date was November seventh,
- 6:27Speaker 2: nineteen eighty seven. Directed by Terry Hughes, written by Christopher Lloyd.
- 6:33Speaker 2: Oh no, not that Christopher, same names. What do you
- 6:38Speaker 2: think Strange Bedfellows will be about?
- 6:42Speaker 5: I think it's about the strange people at Blanches Banged.
- 6:46Speaker 4: Yeah, yep, I agree. I was gonna say I was
- 6:50Speaker 4: going to say a profile of all Blanche's boyfriends.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Yeah, oh my god, you'd need four hours or something. Yeah, right,
- 6:58Speaker 2: what do you think, John, I'm going.
- 7:00Speaker 3: To make a guess because of the phrase politics makes
- 7:03Speaker 3: strange Bedfellows. It's that someone has some kind of political
- 7:08Speaker 3: cause and they have to team up with someone that
- 7:10Speaker 3: they disagree with, someone take that man.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Which one of the girls do you think is involved
- 7:15Speaker 2: with that?
- 7:21Speaker 3: Maybe? Maybe Dorothy?
- 7:26Speaker 4: All right, yeah, I agree Dorothy, because she seems to
- 7:29Speaker 4: be the one who's the most.
- 7:32Speaker 2: She was Molly. She's the activist.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Yeah, so sorry, you're saying that she's also the villain
- 7:41Speaker 1: or you're just saying.
- 7:42Speaker 2: No, just the episodes about her? Yes, who who is?
- 7:47Speaker 2: What if we say now, who is the hero of
- 7:49Speaker 2: the episode? Is that John put it?
- 7:50Speaker 3: Who is the hero that Erin's going to try and
- 7:52Speaker 3: dissuade us?
- 7:56Speaker 2: You kids agree on one the anti hero?
- 8:00Speaker 3: Go? I would guess that it would maybe be mhm,
- 8:08Speaker 3: who we wheah?
- 8:09Speaker 2: Who is gonna? Who is Aaron gonna have to prove
- 8:12Speaker 2: just the last episode is the villain?
- 8:15Speaker 3: Who will Aaron try and prove that the villain is
- 8:17Speaker 3: going to be that?
- 8:18Speaker 4: But we don't think it's really the villain?
- 8:21Speaker 1: Well?
- 8:21Speaker 2: Right, you want to make it hard for her, Yeah.
- 8:23Speaker 3: We're gonna We're gonna play Devil's advocation.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Now, knowing almost nothing about the episode, it's just a guess.
- 8:28Speaker 3: Who is the villain?
- 8:30Speaker 1: It's an educated guess.
- 8:31Speaker 4: I think it would be Blanche because she's usually on
- 8:38Speaker 4: the wrong side of politics.
- 8:41Speaker 5: Are often I mean, from the South, that's not wrong.
- 8:46Speaker 1: And so and so.
- 8:47Speaker 4: I think maybe it has something to do with Dorothy
- 8:49Speaker 4: and Blanche, But I think I would go with Blanche.
- 8:53Speaker 1: That's my opinion.
- 8:54Speaker 3: Also, listener, if you heard last episode we accident and
- 9:00Speaker 3: gave ourselves a sneak peek by looking at the thumbnail
- 9:02Speaker 3: and the description, this episode is not the case right
- 9:06Speaker 3: to that, so we did not get to see that.
- 9:07Speaker 3: So whatever guess we're making is just from the information
- 9:10Speaker 3: that we're being told.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Thank you, John and Kristin. Do you agree with Yeah? Yeah,
- 9:19Speaker 2: all right, Aaron, we're locking it in.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Well, now that we've made that decision that I can't
- 9:27Speaker 1: wait for, let's go ahead and let you guys listen
- 9:31Speaker 1: to some awesome commercials. We're gonna go watch the episode.
- 9:34Speaker 1: You should too, but after the commercials and then we'll
- 9:37Speaker 1: come back and hopefully you at home you wiped that
- 9:41Speaker 1: thing off your face already, because it's still there.
- 9:45Speaker 3: It's not a good look.
- 9:46Speaker 6: Is your popcorn ready? Then pull up a chair and
- 9:48Speaker 6: joined me. Robert Ghannis Junior I cook a table production

- 10:19Speaker 1: We'll see it.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Hello, welcome back, you came back.
- 10:23Speaker 3: You watched an episode of The Golden Girls.
- 10:28Speaker 1: You did it.
- 10:29Speaker 3: If you didn't, then that would be really weird.
- 10:31Speaker 2: We completed.
- 10:32Speaker 1: Yeah, if you didn't, you're doing this wrong.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Just sneeze your tops.
- 10:37Speaker 3: Amazing. Kristen sneezed, Toper.
- 10:40Speaker 2: I've done that.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Wow.
- 10:42Speaker 3: She sneezed so hard and glasses changed.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Wow, amazing. Maybe maybe last week Sophia should have talked
- 10:50Speaker 1: to you about magic jicks, because that was fancy.
- 10:54Speaker 2: I've done that. You'll like, ever so slightly adjust something.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm wearing the ones that allowed me to see
- 11:03Speaker 1: far away and.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Have no, you're in far Grover taught me about that.
- 11:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Oh love you?
- 11:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I love you. No, I'm wearing the ones today
- 11:21Speaker 1: that just fixed my stigmatism. I'm not wearing ones that
- 11:24Speaker 1: helped me.
- 11:24Speaker 3: Like read fix your attitude? Okay, what oh just kidding?
- 11:29Speaker 1: Oh, ladies and gentlemen.
- 11:33Speaker 4: On the line, I wanted don't hold it against his wife.
- 11:39Speaker 1: No, no, no, you'll notice I said John's last appearance.
- 11:44Speaker 2: Anytime.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Yeah, in fact, we might rebook you soon, so it's
- 11:49Speaker 1: just take that boy anyway, long story short, too late.
- 11:53Speaker 1: I don't have my toppers on, but I did lose
- 11:55Speaker 1: my toppers in a meeting earlier in the week because I.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Have losing your top Yeah right, I mean depends.
- 12:01Speaker 1: In a corporate setting, your toppers from your pair eyewear
- 12:05Speaker 1: or the way to go?
- 12:05Speaker 2: Why are meeting at Hooters?
- 12:07Speaker 1: Why is it like the lunch rush and like some
- 12:10Speaker 1: random small town Hooters too? Like was low quality? Like
- 12:15Speaker 1: waitress staff at this time?
- 12:16Speaker 3: Why did we drive an hour and forty minutes to get.
- 12:19Speaker 2: Good chicken wings? I guess No, I don't know.
- 12:23Speaker 1: They're fine. That's all I can say about them. Okay,
- 12:26Speaker 1: what'd you guys think? Did you like the episode?
- 12:28Speaker 2: Yeah? What did you think?
- 12:31Speaker 3: What was not.
- 12:33Speaker 2: As silly as the last one?
- 12:35Speaker 1: No?
- 12:36Speaker 5: It was more serious.
- 12:37Speaker 4: It's always entertaining.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Yes, Oh yeah, you know.
- 12:40Speaker 4: I recently watched an episode of Hot Ones and Will
- 12:45Speaker 4: from SmartLess Will Arnett, thank you. They asked him some
- 12:50Speaker 4: of his on his favorite shows were, and one of
- 12:54Speaker 4: the shows he mentioned was Golden Girls, and he was
- 12:56Speaker 4: going on and on about how funny it was and
- 12:59Speaker 4: how the joke still hold up. And I was thinking
- 13:02Speaker 4: about that, as in this week's episode and last week's episode,
- 13:09Speaker 4: Rose was making inappropriate jokes about Native Americans.
- 13:13Speaker 2: There are moments, yes, that do not hold up.
- 13:16Speaker 4: So for the most part, the jokes hold up, but
- 13:19Speaker 4: some of them are.
- 13:22Speaker 2: I believe this season we have an episode that was
- 13:24Speaker 2: pulled from Hulu but right later put back on. Oh really, yeah,
- 13:29Speaker 2: so you'll you'll watch the You'll be watching it along,
- 13:31Speaker 2: watch along, and you go, yeah, So keep that in
- 13:38Speaker 2: mind if you're doing a rewatch, yes it's cool, or
- 13:42Speaker 2: if you don't feel that way, there's probably something wrong
- 13:44Speaker 2: with you. Right, Yeah, I'm going to take that stand.
- 13:50Speaker 1: I got mad watching Mister t the animated series because
- 13:54Speaker 1: they made the Japanese Girl because he did Moto do
- 13:58Speaker 1: the math a smart one and I was like, this
- 14:02Speaker 1: feels like it was made in the early to mid eighties.
- 14:04Speaker 1: Oh it was terrific.
- 14:06Speaker 3: Super yeah.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Anyway, but enough about that show.
- 14:10Speaker 2: The thing Rose said was about giving a gift back,
- 14:13Speaker 2: which I don't know if there's another term for it.
- 14:15Speaker 2: I know the racist term, but no.
- 14:18Speaker 4: It takes these backsies yeah.
- 14:20Speaker 1: Actually I looked into this saying once we still shouldn't
- 14:23Speaker 1: be saying it because of Lord. Indian Native Americans would
- 14:25Speaker 1: have stow gifts that were like similar to like like
- 14:28Speaker 1: a trophy like the hivestman cup or something that you
- 14:31Speaker 1: have to give to someone else later. So they would
- 14:33Speaker 1: bestow this thing, but then they would want it back
- 14:36Speaker 1: to give to the next person. It was like that
- 14:38Speaker 1: kind of point forward.
- 14:40Speaker 2: Yeah, oh okay, okay.
- 14:41Speaker 1: And so it's kind of like that vibe.
- 14:44Speaker 2: So it's not that was just their culture.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Like the American people didn't understand their culture, and so
- 14:51Speaker 1: then it became like this negative thing. And it was
- 14:53Speaker 1: really just more like they were like, no, that's my
- 14:55Speaker 1: great grandma's like headdress. You were allowed to wear it
- 14:59Speaker 1: for like the month because you're our like favorite settler.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Give it the funk back like something borrowed. Yeah, it's
- 15:06Speaker 1: not a brow.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Libraries were a huge thing for them to understand. I
- 15:15Speaker 2: have to give this book back.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Oh man, the library finds alone. All right, enough about that,
- 15:21Speaker 1: let's do the quiz. This uh, this quiz will not
- 15:25Speaker 1: be as long as last week. I will be more
- 15:28Speaker 1: succinct in saying my questions to avoid less confusion for
- 15:32Speaker 1: my pregnant pauses and pregnant. Maybe we'll start coming up
- 15:37Speaker 1: with a single symbol name for a single syllable name
- 15:41Speaker 1: for Chris. You wanna be Chris. Look, you're still probably
- 15:48Speaker 1: gonna win. Let's be real, you never know. Let's jump in.
- 15:54Speaker 4: She is a formidable opponent.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Yeah you I love this. Like this, You guys should
- 16:00Speaker 1: come on like all the time. The most exciting question.
- 16:05Speaker 2: She's made a lot of people like, I'm.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Gonna kick rest James who aims?
- 16:12Speaker 2: Yeah, Jarren Hurdle, Weslie, Weslie. They all are like, I
- 16:17Speaker 2: gotta do better.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Wicked competitive too, all right, Okay, here we go.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Loggie and Stevie not so much. They didn't care, all right.
- 16:29Speaker 1: Question why when Dorothy asks Sophia to hide in her room?
- 16:34Speaker 1: What TV personality does Sophia compare herself to Karen? Yes, Karen,
- 16:43Speaker 1: it's Elf. Yes it is I love Elf.
- 16:49Speaker 3: Hm hmm.
- 16:52Speaker 1: Okay, Golden shumway. This is a no stamp bonus question.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Speaking of alf, what planet was he from?
- 17:05Speaker 5: Christ?
- 17:07Speaker 1: Kristen was first that time. Can't hear you, Aaron?
- 17:11Speaker 2: We lost your audio again?
- 17:14Speaker 5: Oh if you look down and you're talking.
- 17:21Speaker 1: All right, cool, whatever. So Kristen was first mel Neck.
- 17:29Speaker 2: Yes, from the Plan.
- 17:33Speaker 5: My grandpa had every episode recorded on VHS.
- 17:37Speaker 1: And your kids.
- 17:38Speaker 2: That's one that got canceled on a cliffhanger, and it's
- 17:41Speaker 2: so depressing. He gets dragged off by like the FBI, Yeah,
- 17:46Speaker 2: because they were gonna like have it continue, but then
- 17:49Speaker 2: it got canceled.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Yeah, he's dead somewhere.
- 17:53Speaker 2: He's probably getting prouded by a scientist or ice boilers.
- 18:03Speaker 1: All right, did you see fucking the US marshals kicked
- 18:08Speaker 1: that puppy. I'm so mad about it. Sorry, oh god.
- 18:13Speaker 1: They were sing an a rest warrant and this dog
- 18:16Speaker 1: came running out of this apartment or hotel or whatever,
- 18:20Speaker 1: and it came running out the way Hannah Sola greets people.
- 18:23Speaker 1: She was. It was not like I'm gonna eat your
- 18:26Speaker 1: fucking fit. It was like, and this guy fucking soccer
- 18:30Speaker 1: ball punts like kicks it like it's a soccer football.
- 18:35Speaker 1: It was like a younger like teenage maybe, but like
- 18:40Speaker 1: a slightly medium to larger dog, but it was small
- 18:43Speaker 1: for it. He and the reports said that he like
- 18:46Speaker 1: cracked a rib.
- 18:48Speaker 2: In the dog, and I was like, yeah, sorry.
- 18:53Speaker 1: I don't like, yeah. I was like, anyway, enough sadness,
- 19:00Speaker 1: Let's talk about something else, Like who is probably the
- 19:06Speaker 1: biggest wimp Dorothy has known in her entire life? Karen Yes, Dewey.
- 19:16Speaker 2: No, Gina Yes? Is it gil Kestler? Yes? I was like,
- 19:23Speaker 2: is that too obvious?
- 19:25Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 19:25Speaker 2: I guess I could try it.
- 19:27Speaker 1: I mean, it was just obvious enough. Multiple choice. Which
- 19:33Speaker 1: of the following was not a news source? Sophia lists
- 19:38Speaker 1: A Miami Post, B, Miami Tribune, C Miami Harold or
- 19:47Speaker 1: D Miami's own Sophia Petrillo Christian.
- 19:51Speaker 5: Yes, is the Herald. I can't remember what letter you
- 19:55Speaker 5: assigned to that, but it's the Harald. Yeah.
- 20:00Speaker 1: What noisy activity is Rose doing that wakes Dorothy up?
- 20:05Speaker 1: And what inevitably happens? Karen?
- 20:08Speaker 2: Gina?
- 20:09Speaker 1: Okay it was Karen.
- 20:11Speaker 4: She was making bird feeders and eventually she smashes her
- 20:16Speaker 4: own bird feeder.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Yeah, out of anxiety. Because Dorothy's that much of.
- 20:22Speaker 2: A bit she doesn't look at her right well, white.
- 20:26Speaker 1: A look, Yeah, that is a look. Okay, this next
- 20:31Speaker 1: one is a Sophia fill in the blanks, and I
- 20:35Speaker 1: do need all three, but if they're not in order,
- 20:37Speaker 1: it's fine. But holy blank, holy blank, holy blank. Oh okay,
- 20:46Speaker 1: all right, well that was awkward enough. I'm going to
- 20:48Speaker 1: take the point and I will tell you that she says,
- 20:52Speaker 1: holy smoke, Holy Toledo, Holy mackerel.
- 20:58Speaker 2: I was thinking, holy cow.
- 21:00Speaker 1: Okay when Rose finally realized, what's hi?
- 21:05Speaker 2: Hello, Hi more Hello, good morning?
- 21:10Speaker 1: Realize it? Nope? No, okay, I'm just gonna say the
- 21:14Speaker 1: question different.
- 21:14Speaker 2: All right, all right, even come back in.
- 21:18Speaker 1: What yard line does Sophia start with? Karen John was first?
- 21:25Speaker 3: Fifty yep, sports sports.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Angelo didn't go to Attica for the volleyball program. But
- 21:35Speaker 1: what did he go there for?
- 21:37Speaker 2: Karen?
- 21:38Speaker 4: Yes, Karen selling dope, yep.
- 21:42Speaker 2: I said, he's so dope, He's not gonna be.
- 21:50Speaker 1: What happened in the nineteen twenty two wine crisis in Sicily.
- 21:56Speaker 2: Karen, I mean, there's a lot that happened.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Kristen was first.
- 22:01Speaker 5: The Stompers got athletes.
- 22:03Speaker 2: But yes, do you wanted to keep going?
- 22:07Speaker 1: No, that's fine, okay.
- 22:10Speaker 2: I was like, there's quite a story there.
- 22:11Speaker 5: There was, but I don't want to get in trouble
- 22:14Speaker 5: so short.
- 22:17Speaker 1: There was such a story there that I was happy
- 22:19Speaker 1: to take any portion of a cliff Notes version of
- 22:22Speaker 1: what happened, because I thought it was too many details
- 22:25Speaker 1: to write down. But don't worry. There are more questions
- 22:27Speaker 1: about the situation.
- 22:28Speaker 2: Okay, all right, good, okay.
- 22:31Speaker 1: Who did Bruno Bonfiglio prescribe arch supports for Karen?
- 22:37Speaker 2: Yes?
- 22:38Speaker 1: Karen Mussolini? Yes?
- 22:44Speaker 2: Is Karen loud in anyone else's ear? Is it just me?
- 22:49Speaker 4: No?
- 22:49Speaker 1: I want Karen to do like an as Mr. Her
- 22:52Speaker 1: voice is fucking serious. Okay, I'm I don't have time,
- 22:59Speaker 1: but I'm playing on a podcast for us right now.
- 23:01Speaker 2: Can click your nails on something? I hate that ship?
- 23:10Speaker 1: All right? Next question, speaking of Bruno Bonfiglio, how did
- 23:16Speaker 1: he die.
- 23:19Speaker 5: Kristen. Yes, he developed a foot fetish and suffocated with
- 23:25Speaker 5: rubber boots.
- 23:27Speaker 2: Yeah, he put his whole hand in there.
- 23:31Speaker 1: That's a cautionary tale to te to Quentin Tarantino.
- 23:36Speaker 2: There's a lot of feet in this episode. There are, alright,
- 23:40Speaker 2: some dorothy feet.
- 23:41Speaker 3: Just a history. I'm sorry.
- 23:49Speaker 1: Initially, why does Gil lie about the affair?
- 23:53Speaker 4: Karen?
- 23:54Speaker 2: Yes?
- 23:55Speaker 4: Because his poll numbers rose and it made it more popular.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Yeah, people started actually like, listen, this poles.
- 24:04Speaker 2: Fake Blanche's fakeanful.
- 24:09Speaker 1: I have the same questions Rose, We're not there yet,
- 24:12Speaker 1: and I don't know if I have a question about it,
- 24:13Speaker 1: but I have the same questions Rose had when she's like,
- 24:16Speaker 1: does how does it work? Like I anyway?
- 24:21Speaker 2: I mean we could get a surgeon on here.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, well well we'll put a pin in that.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Yeah, they don't it. I mean, I maybe some statement
- 24:37Speaker 2: stitches heeling.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Okay, so this next one, I can already tell that
- 24:42Speaker 1: you're gonna all be like about this. So I'm gonna
- 24:46Speaker 1: be as specific about the scene as possible.
- 24:50Speaker 2: I want to be mad.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Yeah, okay. When Blanche goes to Gil's office to confront him,
- 24:59Speaker 1: what color is the folder under his hands on the desk?
- 25:05Speaker 2: Sean the color blind him? John is answering first, hilarious.
- 25:12Speaker 3: I can't even blue taking.
- 25:17Speaker 2: A shot in the dark.
- 25:18Speaker 1: It's blue, John, What good job? You were never color blind?
- 25:28Speaker 2: Okay, he's gasoling us.
- 25:30Speaker 3: You can ready color Oh.
- 25:34Speaker 1: That makes sense? All right? Cool?
- 25:35Speaker 2: Cool, cool, cool hookat that's right.
- 25:40Speaker 1: When Blanche is being followed by reporters at the party,
- 25:44Speaker 1: how does she tell the reporters she wants her name
- 25:47Speaker 1: to appear in the paper?
- 25:49Speaker 2: Gina, Yes, Lance Devereau Comma thirty nine.
- 25:53Speaker 5: Yes.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Also if she thinks she looks younger than me. She
- 25:59Speaker 1: is sorely mistake.
- 26:01Speaker 2: It was terrible for forty one. Yeah, she's trying to
- 26:05Speaker 2: go yer ands.
- 26:07Speaker 1: I was like, no, ma'am, you do not look anyway. No, man, Okay,
- 26:12Speaker 1: there's two questions now, three questions left. Do we want
- 26:15Speaker 1: to get a check on where we're at.
- 26:17Speaker 5: Yeah, Aaron has one, Yes, Gina and John have two,
- 26:23Speaker 5: I have four, and Karen has five.
- 26:29Speaker 3: Right home stretch.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Okay, So this next question I should preface this is
- 26:36Speaker 1: gonna be one of those times where sometimes Kristen uh
- 26:39Speaker 1: is afraid she's gonna get herself in trouble. So I'm
- 26:41Speaker 1: going to ask you one question, and I want just
- 26:45Speaker 1: like some of it, like don't don't it's not that deep,
- 26:52Speaker 1: don't go too far into okay, don't elaborate too much. Okay,
- 26:58Speaker 1: what is actually gil big secret?
- 27:01Speaker 2: Karenon, I don't even know who that was.
- 27:06Speaker 1: I think it was what did you hear?
- 27:08Speaker 2: Aaron?
- 27:09Speaker 1: Kristen? No, I don't know you.
- 27:14Speaker 2: It was a mess of names. It wasn't me. I
- 27:19Speaker 2: know that.
- 27:19Speaker 1: I don't play this game anymore. I'm gonna go home.
- 27:23Speaker 2: I honestly don't know who did you guys hear first?
- 27:26Speaker 2: Ye be honest.
- 27:28Speaker 3: Uh, I couldn't say.
- 27:32Speaker 2: Did you each think you were first?
- 27:34Speaker 3: I mean I thought I had said it first.
- 27:35Speaker 1: But I didn't even hear John at all.
- 27:40Speaker 2: I did because you think.
- 27:42Speaker 1: He went first, then you go first, because I didn't
- 27:44Speaker 1: even hear you.
- 27:46Speaker 2: I heard all three names.
- 27:49Speaker 1: Oh maybe that's I just.
- 27:54Speaker 3: Well, okay, I will defer to my wife. She gets
- 28:00Speaker 3: the answer.
- 28:02Speaker 1: Oh what about Kristen? No, that's fine, I don't know who.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Do you want to do it again.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Like a random number generator? No, just get you'll have
- 28:11Speaker 2: Karen answered, all right, Karen, go ahead.
- 28:17Speaker 4: His big secret was that he used to be Anna
- 28:22Speaker 4: Maria Bonaducci, a stenographer and housewife.
- 28:26Speaker 2: Oh is that good?
- 28:31Speaker 1: Got further than Yeah, it was too far. That's okay.
- 28:36Speaker 1: We'll give you the point. But we have one last question.
- 28:39Speaker 3: Now, that's fine, okay.
- 28:43Speaker 2: Was the question going to be the original name?
- 28:46Speaker 1: Part time stenographer and mild mannered housewife? Was the next answer? Okay,
- 28:52Speaker 1: So but we're gonna say I know she was Italian
- 28:55Speaker 1: or he was Italian? Okay, all right, this is the
- 28:59Speaker 1: last question. Now, why does Dorothy say that she's very upset?
- 29:10Speaker 2: The joke answer Gina. Yeah, uh, because they didn't rerun
- 29:16Speaker 2: Facts of Life goes to Australia.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Yep, that's it nice. Okay, did we have an upset?
- 29:24Speaker 1: I think Karen won, right, she did. There's one. You're
- 29:31Speaker 1: one of like three people that have ever beat Kristen.
- 29:35Speaker 2: Oh did she beat her last time she was here?
- 29:38Speaker 2: I don't remember.
- 29:39Speaker 1: I can't remember because that was fifty six episodes, fifty
- 29:42Speaker 1: seven episodes, fifty years ago. I did.
- 29:44Speaker 4: I think I won one of them last time.
- 29:46Speaker 2: Okay, so we got a good opponent for you.
- 29:49Speaker 1: Kristen fucking Ken Jennings over here returning champion.
- 29:53Speaker 2: And the what was the computer one? Deep blue or something?
- 29:56Speaker 2: That's right?
- 30:00Speaker 5: I won the first episode was the second one?
- 30:04Speaker 2: She's kind of right there.
- 30:06Speaker 5: I have a spreadsheet. I love that.
- 30:10Speaker 2: Yay, congratulations Karen, Yeah job.
- 30:15Speaker 1: I will say, not to pat myself on the back,
- 30:17Speaker 1: but more to congratulate Kristin un rubbing off on me.
- 30:21Speaker 1: I have been using my remarkable paper pro and loading
- 30:25Speaker 1: my quizzes in them so that I can make notes
- 30:28Speaker 1: and kind of keep better track of what I'm doing.
- 30:30Speaker 1: And like I wrote down earlier, we should reach will
- 30:35Speaker 1: Arnett and see if he wants to be on our
- 30:38Speaker 1: show since he loves Golden Girls so much. Like so anyway,
- 30:41Speaker 1: and like I put what time the episode started? So
- 30:43Speaker 1: Kristin has made me a more organized person by kind
- 30:48Speaker 1: of observing her over time and being.
- 30:51Speaker 2: More thought way to be organized, Chris, Can you help
- 30:54Speaker 2: me with my life? It's a mess?
- 30:57Speaker 3: Also, can you help me in the dungeon? Santieplo for it?
- 31:01Speaker 3: Because I keep kicking my ass kicked?
- 31:03Speaker 2: Yeah, to walk in there and just be like, they're
- 31:06Speaker 2: all I can't.
- 31:09Speaker 1: Play above expert by myself.
- 31:11Speaker 2: She's level one thousand.
- 31:13Speaker 3: I have to do that horrid thing and get six
- 31:14Speaker 3: hundred and sixty six eighth or whatever.
- 31:16Speaker 1: That.
- 31:17Speaker 3: Yeah, it's very hard.
- 31:19Speaker 1: Okay, well it sounds like on the Luni will be
- 31:21Speaker 1: more like on the Diablos that forever. Bab Wait, do
- 31:30Speaker 1: you have it? Do you want to just do it?
- 31:35Speaker 3: That's right?
- 31:36Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 31:37Speaker 2: I think.
- 31:40Speaker 3: My fingers slipped it was holding that in anyway, she.
- 31:44Speaker 7: Said, oh my god, pod team all right, a big smile.
- 31:56Speaker 1: Well congrats Karen you Oh she tried to He tried
- 31:59Speaker 1: to liquor.
- 32:00Speaker 4: I saw it on the screen.
- 32:04Speaker 1: Everyone John Fank won last time. No, it's fine, all right, Janette.
- 32:09Speaker 1: Did you want to give us some trivia for the episode? Yes?
- 32:12Speaker 2: Please? So John Shook was Gil Kessler. He was on
- 32:19Speaker 2: Star Trek four and Star Trek six. I love to
- 32:21Speaker 2: shout those out. And he's also on Mash. Darwin Carson
- 32:26Speaker 2: was reporter number one. He was on Er and Diagnosis,
- 32:29Speaker 2: Murder and Bold and the Beautiful. Sarah Partridge was the secretary.
- 32:34Speaker 2: She was in Risky Business. Dave Westgoer was reporter number two.
- 32:39Speaker 2: He was on the eighte. Yeah, Melville Dewey died in
- 32:45Speaker 2: nineteen thirty one, so Rose could not have worked with him. Oh,
- 32:50Speaker 2: unless she's a thousand. This was the first appearance of
- 32:55Speaker 2: a trans character on the show. This episode. They nominated
- 33:01Speaker 2: Rue McClanahan for an Emmy in nineteen eighty eight.
- 33:06Speaker 1: Did she.
- 33:08Speaker 2: I don't believe so.
- 33:10Speaker 1: I guess you would have said she won an Emmy
- 33:12Speaker 1: if she.
- 33:13Speaker 2: Yeah, Sophia talks about the wine in Sicily. But Keyanti
- 33:17Speaker 2: is from Tuscany. Yes, Kristen knew that.
- 33:23Speaker 1: Yeah it is now because of the or whatever.
- 33:30Speaker 2: Yes, x is an anti fungal for feet. That's why
- 33:33Speaker 2: you don't want your wine to taste like that. They
- 33:36Speaker 2: mentioned alf he had to stay out of sight because
- 33:38Speaker 2: he wasn't ay. They mentioned Agatha Christie, she was a
- 33:42Speaker 2: mystery writer. They mentioned sixty minutes, and it had been
- 33:48Speaker 2: accused throughout the years of lying. I didn't know that,
- 33:54Speaker 2: especially like with political stuff. Jim and Tammy fay Baker
- 33:59Speaker 2: were on Nightline. That was a reference about financial misuse
- 34:03Speaker 2: and sexual misconduct, which started their doubtful Yeah. The Facts
- 34:09Speaker 2: of Life down Under was a made for TV comedy
- 34:12Speaker 2: that came out in nineteen eighty seven, which I want
- 34:15Speaker 2: to now watch. I missed that one, that's all I.
- 34:20Speaker 1: I looked it up because I was like, fucking making
- 34:23Speaker 1: that up. That's made up. That's not a thing.
- 34:25Speaker 2: Well it wasn't called Ghost to Australia, but yeah.
- 34:27Speaker 1: But but I was like, just the concept of it
- 34:30Speaker 1: is fucking dumb. And then I was like, no, that's real.
- 34:32Speaker 1: It happened, all right, Great.
- 34:34Speaker 2: The Brady's going to Hawaii.
- 34:35Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, Well, because you don't think like a girl's
- 34:39Speaker 1: a home for girls run by, Like a single old
- 34:42Speaker 1: lady is going to be like, what's up? You guys
- 34:44Speaker 1: want to all get in a plane for like fifteen hours.
- 34:46Speaker 2: Eighty five hours down under?
- 34:50Speaker 1: Right? Yeah?
- 34:51Speaker 5: Oh?
- 34:51Speaker 1: And also like you all super have the cash, right, Well,
- 34:54Speaker 1: Blair was paying. Okay, that's true.
- 34:57Speaker 2: It was blair Rich.
- 34:58Speaker 1: I don't remember, Oh Blair was super Yeah, she.
- 35:02Speaker 2: Was a Blair Rich.
- 35:06Speaker 1: She was a blair Rich witch. I got you, actually,
- 35:11Speaker 1: I mean, if we're being clever naming here, and I
- 35:13Speaker 1: hate to keep talking about this episode. It's just that
- 35:16Speaker 1: it changed my life to see mister T the cartoon
- 35:19Speaker 1: again after all these years. Uh. He has a little
- 35:22Speaker 1: white sidekick that follows him around that wants to be
- 35:26Speaker 1: just like him and says like pitied foo, but he's white,
- 35:29Speaker 1: a little white kid that looks like Danny Bonaducci, And
- 35:32Speaker 1: so I named him Danny Bonaducci. Te uh nice. Yeah, anyway,
- 35:39Speaker 1: it's my story. All right. You want to hear about
- 35:41Speaker 1: the villain that you guys really cocked up for me
- 35:44Speaker 1: because she's the victim in this. But I'm gonna try
- 35:46Speaker 1: my hardest, sure because yeah, why would anyone assume she
- 35:52Speaker 1: slept with that guy? All right, Blanche the villain?
- 36:01Speaker 2: That's the villain. An essay by Arns cab Ready.
- 36:04Speaker 1: Okay, Well, first of all, I just want to point
- 36:06Speaker 1: out generally her lack of a desire to be helpful
- 36:11Speaker 1: is pretty shocking because she doesn't want to take a folder.
- 36:15Speaker 1: She says, I will do anything to help this guy
- 36:18Speaker 1: win his campaign. And then they're like, can you take
- 36:20Speaker 1: this folder that clearly has one piece of paper in
- 36:23Speaker 1: it to this guy's house and she's like, no, absolutely not,
- 36:27Speaker 1: Roach should do it. And then Rose is like can
- 36:30Speaker 1: you wash these cake plates? And she's like those are dirty? Yes, bitch,
- 36:33Speaker 1: that's what happens when you eat off of a plate.
- 36:35Speaker 2: I mean.
- 36:37Speaker 1: Yeah. And then she finally is like, fine, I'll go
- 36:42Speaker 1: take the folder because it's less work and no dirt.
- 36:45Speaker 2: You can tell she doesn't, right, And then she.
- 36:49Speaker 1: Wants fucking reimbursed for gas and mileage to drive what's
- 36:54Speaker 1: seemingly like just down the street. Yeah, it's probably close.
- 36:59Speaker 1: And then.
- 37:02Speaker 3: I don't like to victims local city councilman, but.
- 37:07Speaker 1: Well, what no, he was there, he was a city
- 37:09Speaker 1: he was running for city.
- 37:10Speaker 3: So like, if he's running for city council, he's not
- 37:13Speaker 3: gonna be two hours away.
- 37:14Speaker 1: We're not talking. She had to drive to fucking d
- 37:17Speaker 1: C with the like down the road, Okay, this one
- 37:22Speaker 1: is gonna don't ride in and yell at me. I'm
- 37:25Speaker 1: doing the best I can with that. Well, okay, but like,
- 37:30Speaker 1: don't pick on me, maybe side pick on her. I'm
- 37:34Speaker 1: gonna victim.
- 37:34Speaker 3: Blame one fresh tomato and one rotten tomato.
- 37:37Speaker 1: I'm gonna victim blame real quick. If you go around
- 37:41Speaker 1: telling everyone what a floozy you are all the time,
- 37:45Speaker 1: don't be surprised when no one believes you. It was
- 37:49Speaker 1: her reputation and her salicious stories that made her two
- 37:55Speaker 1: best friends not believe her. Kind of like when you
- 37:58Speaker 1: might be playing a game like similar to the Traders
- 38:03Speaker 1: called Blood on the clock Tower and your best friend
- 38:06Speaker 1: is a bad guy and you say, hey, are you
- 38:08Speaker 1: a bad guy? Because I know it's either you or
- 38:10Speaker 1: the person next to me, and she lies to your face.
- 38:14Speaker 1: That's why you don't trust her. Later, Blanche has told
- 38:17Speaker 1: everyone she's a huge slut, so people don't trust her
- 38:20Speaker 1: that she's not a huge slut.
- 38:22Speaker 3: Next up, she's the Blanche who cried wolf whistle.
- 38:25Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, she admits to the girls at the end
- 38:28Speaker 1: of the episode that she's.
- 38:30Speaker 2: Made trying to get to that same I was trying
- 38:33Speaker 2: to word.
- 38:33Speaker 1: It right, wolf Ray Bristle, Is that what you said?
- 38:37Speaker 2: I was gonna see.
- 38:40Speaker 3: I didn't say wolf bristle.
- 38:42Speaker 1: Anyway, so she says she she admits to telling tall
- 38:47Speaker 1: tales to her friends about her sexual conquest and embellishing
- 38:54Speaker 1: and for some inserting a hot tub in things unnecessarily.
- 38:59Speaker 1: I don't find hot tub sex sexy. I find hot
- 39:02Speaker 1: tub sex gross. So also that's another villain. It's gross,
- 39:08Speaker 1: it's not for everybody.
- 39:11Speaker 2: It's not imagine to keep the blood flow going.
- 39:15Speaker 1: But it's not sanitary, and the chlorine is drying. Just
- 39:19Speaker 1: let you put that anyway.
- 39:22Speaker 2: Uh.
- 39:23Speaker 1: And then when she's come clean about lying, she immediately
- 39:26Speaker 1: lies to them again at the end about her conquests
- 39:31Speaker 1: and crosses her fingers. Okay, to keep lying about it forever,
- 39:37Speaker 1: because Blanche is a villain.
- 39:39Speaker 5: But she always when she sleeps with somebody, she doesn't
- 39:43Speaker 5: like deny it. She just says.
- 39:46Speaker 1: She's like the high school jock. It's like, yeah, our
- 39:50Speaker 1: fucked her when he gets back to school the next
- 39:52Speaker 1: day and all he did was kiss the girl, but
- 39:54Speaker 1: he ruins her rep she's the opposite of that. She's like, yeah,
- 39:57Speaker 1: we did it. Like that's that's what she's doing is
- 40:01Speaker 1: she's making it sound more exciting. She may not even
- 40:04Speaker 1: have a Santa fetish, and now I feel really lied to.
- 40:09Speaker 2: No, she got a Santa fetish.
- 40:10Speaker 1: Yeah, but this one was hard. If you had picked
- 40:13Speaker 1: literally anyone else in the episode, it would have been
- 40:17Speaker 1: a lot easier. You guys, you managed to stump me
- 40:20Speaker 1: a little bit.
- 40:22Speaker 5: We're not here to make your life easy, you know.
- 40:24Speaker 1: I'm you didn't need to explain that it was implied.
- 40:30Speaker 2: I'd like to get y'all's take on that it was
- 40:34Speaker 2: a trans episode what you thought.
- 40:37Speaker 3: I I was really impressed with how they handled that
- 40:40Speaker 3: because they're like, yeah, oh yeah, that's the thing that happened,
- 40:43Speaker 3: all right, instead of this whole It wasn't like you
- 40:47Speaker 3: fractured judgment around it. Yea we have in this day
- 40:50Speaker 3: and age. They're like, oh, all right, well, I guess
- 40:53Speaker 3: that's just the way that the story brought this, you know,
- 40:56Speaker 3: set of circumstances here. Yeah, all right, let's keep moving forward.
- 40:59Speaker 3: No dead naming, no shaming.
- 41:04Speaker 5: So that was impressive, and it's ahead of its time.
- 41:07Speaker 4: Mechanics.
- 41:08Speaker 2: Yeah, they were just like, how does that work?
- 41:10Speaker 1: The mine are still about mechanics too, because I don't really,
- 41:14Speaker 1: I'm not. It's not coming from a place of like,
- 41:18Speaker 1: oh what, it's more like curiousity.
- 41:21Speaker 2: Yeah, you just want to know how work.
- 41:23Speaker 3: There are like computer animated videos that kind of show
- 41:26Speaker 3: you both gender for surgeries that you can watch.
- 41:30Speaker 7: Hmm, you can see how the guess what I'm watching today?
- 41:40Speaker 5: Excellent Parent's googlely right now? No?
- 41:44Speaker 3: No, no, no, well we'll see in thirty minutes here. Yeah, yeah, bok.
- 41:53Speaker 2: I wonder how much more difficult it was in the
- 41:56Speaker 2: eighties to have that.
- 41:58Speaker 1: Oh, I think it was like way and it seems
- 42:01Speaker 1: like it's easier now. But I don't had it in
- 42:04Speaker 1: nineteen sixty eight.
- 42:05Speaker 2: He said, Yeah, that's true.
- 42:07Speaker 1: In the sixties, so he may have had to even go.
- 42:10Speaker 2: So it's like, did they have the hormones? Did I
- 42:12Speaker 2: don't know.
- 42:13Speaker 1: I don't know. All right, if you're listening to our
- 42:17Speaker 1: show and you have had gender reassignment in the nineteen sixties,
- 42:23Speaker 1: let us now.
- 42:24Speaker 2: Yeah, we're not shaming. We just don't know.
- 42:27Speaker 1: I'm just fascinated.
- 42:29Speaker 2: But it tell us your journey.
- 42:31Speaker 1: I liked it, but look, we knew Golden Girls was
- 42:34Speaker 1: kind of always on the forefront of pushing issues.
- 42:38Speaker 2: And it's true they'll make cringy comments, but then it's like, oh, okay,
- 42:42Speaker 2: good for you.
- 42:44Speaker 5: But they really address the issues and they don't bring
- 42:48Speaker 5: it to light for public audiences, and especially for that time,
- 42:51Speaker 5: that's really cool that they did that.
- 42:52Speaker 1: Honestly, there was less shame in the gender reassignment than
- 42:56Speaker 1: when Blanche finds out her brother's gay.
- 42:59Speaker 2: Yeah that's true.
- 43:01Speaker 3: Yeah, well, and it's also again sort of the beginning
- 43:05Speaker 3: historically politically of that. You know, the eighties, like seventies
- 43:10Speaker 3: to eighties was the beginning of that whole sort of
- 43:16Speaker 3: commandeering of that moral you know, outrage of those specific acts.
- 43:22Speaker 3: You know, if you talk about like back in like
- 43:25Speaker 3: the nineteen sixties, conservative parties had no opinion on abortion
- 43:29Speaker 3: at all. It was later on where you know, one
- 43:33Speaker 3: party basically sort of took that and said you need
- 43:36Speaker 3: to feel bad about this. That it started that whole thing,
- 43:39Speaker 3: and then like oh, this works well, since we don't
- 43:42Speaker 3: have anything substantial to offer the common man, you know,
- 43:44Speaker 3: let's create a moral panic and then we're not off
- 43:46Speaker 3: that so.
- 43:49Speaker 2: Something that don't think over here, Yeah with the smartness.
- 43:52Speaker 3: Sorry, I just.
- 43:56Speaker 2: Tell me more kind of a job.
- 43:58Speaker 1: John Fink and Wicked have taught me that what people
- 44:02Speaker 1: really need is a good enemy or a good opposition.
- 44:06Speaker 2: Sure, wicked that you walk taught you know, no wicked kid,
- 44:10Speaker 2: Oh wicked.
- 44:12Speaker 3: But she said, two giant logs and.
- 44:18Speaker 2: Right in front of the yeah, wicked for a walk along.
- 44:22Speaker 1: And my chicken arms kept wobbling by the way like
- 44:27Speaker 1: I did that, and they just can't move in. It's
- 44:29Speaker 1: real life, guys, don't get old.
- 44:33Speaker 2: I'll try not to. I'm going to fail.
- 44:38Speaker 1: It's not fails, it's just smaller progress than you'd like.
- 44:43Speaker 3: There it is.
- 44:46Speaker 1: My therapist told me that yesterday you need like I
- 44:51Speaker 1: was talking about my I was talking about my all
- 44:55Speaker 1: or nothing mentality with her and I said, I just
- 44:59Speaker 1: want to scoop everything up in my house and like
- 45:02Speaker 1: burn it all down and start over. And she was like,
- 45:04Speaker 1: and what is that? And I was like.
- 45:08Speaker 2: A plan, all or nothing and she was.
- 45:10Speaker 1: Like, and what's fun if I do what I can handle?
- 45:15Speaker 1: She was like, and who cares how clean your house is?
- 45:20Speaker 1: And I said, just me my mother? And she said,
- 45:23Speaker 1: and does your mother's opinion matter?
- 45:25Speaker 2: And I said no, yes, I would annoy your there.
- 45:33Speaker 1: Yeah, well I've I've yeah. Yeah, it's it's hard.
