Isaiah warns the people to fear God rather than mediums and fear itself. Then comes one of Scripture's great promises: a child is born, a son is given, whose names are Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Amid judgment, God points to a coming King and lasting peace.
