Stats show: dramatic rise in yerida from even before the war
There has been a dramatic rise in the number of foreign-born Israelis, mostly Ukrainians and Russians, leaving the country. According data from the Central Bureau of Statistics, in the first nine months of 2023, 35,000 non-native-born Israelis left the country while only 7,000 returned, much higher percentage than native-born Israelis.
