- 1:50Speaker 3: Hells yeah.
- 1:50Speaker 9: As you have billed it previously. Which would also be
- 1:53Speaker 9: known as Miss DJ's house.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Kitchen to be exact.
- 1:57Speaker 7: It's been quite a while. You know, you guys have
- 1:59Speaker 7: been missing them, I'm sure.
- 2:00Speaker 9: So I thought we'd come visit with them and hang
- 2:03Speaker 9: out at their house and see what you've been up to.
- 2:05Speaker 3: We had chili.
- 2:07Speaker 7: We did have chili. It's pretty awesome.
- 2:09Speaker 3: You don't get chili out there in Western Atlanta. I'm sorry.
- 2:11Speaker 7: You can if you want, but you have to make
- 2:13Speaker 7: it yourself.
- 2:14Speaker 3: It won't be as awesome as ours.
- 2:16Speaker 8: We could try to pour it through the microphone. I
- 2:19Speaker 8: don't like that idea at all.
- 2:20Speaker 6: Oh, come on.
- 2:21Speaker 7: And then it would just come out their ears.
- 2:23Speaker 5: That's kind of gross.
- 2:27Speaker 7: I think they have that. They're just covered up.
- 2:30Speaker 8: It's all a conspiracy.
- 2:33Speaker 7: Anyway, I thought we would go into our previous goings-on.
- 2:39Speaker 7: You haven't been here in a while. Do you need
- 2:40Speaker 7: to go first or do you want to save yours?
- 2:42Speaker 3: I don't care. Whatever works best.
- 2:43Speaker 7: I don't care.
- 2:44Speaker 3: I don't know. We actually haven't watched that much stuff
- 2:48Speaker 3: because I've been working.
- 2:49Speaker 8: We've been working, but you've got to understand we haven't
- 2:51Speaker 8: been on the podcast in.
- 2:52Speaker 5: A long time.
- 2:53Speaker 8: A long, long time.
- 2:55Speaker 7: It's been Halloween, but that was sort of an off
- 2:58Speaker 7: win anyway. Were we on Halloween? Yeah, you were on
- 3:01Speaker 7: one of the Halloween ones.
- 3:02Speaker 3: It was candy.
- 3:02Speaker 8: We were?
- 3:03Speaker 3: We were in the hallway.
- 3:04Speaker 8: In what hallway?
- 3:05Speaker 3: The secret hallway with Lucy.
- 3:08Speaker 8: Oh yeah yeah I totally forgot about that we were
- 3:11Speaker 8: weren't we yeah other than that it's been.
- 3:13Speaker 3: A while wow yeah I remember oh.
- 3:15Speaker 9: God huh what did we watch I don't remember you're
- 3:19Speaker 9: the one supposed to tell us that no what did
- 3:21Speaker 9: we watch for the Halloween episode oh we watched.
- 3:23Speaker 8: Deeper Scream oh yeah now I remember it oh yeah oh.
- 3:27Speaker 3: Jeez the thing is it's been so long since we've
- 3:29Speaker 3: been on we've watched some stuff but I forgot what
- 3:31Speaker 3: we've watched and if we thought it sucked or not
- 3:34Speaker 3: but I remember some things cause I wrote it down Um,
- 3:39Speaker 3: we watched, uh, Sand Shark.
- 3:42Speaker 8: You got a shark kick one, though?
- 3:44Speaker 3: No, I love shark movies. I'm not gonna lie.
- 3:46Speaker 7: Isn't this part of your whole big, um, how many features?
- 3:49Speaker 3: Well, that was two in one night, but I've watched three.
- 3:51Speaker 7: Triple feature of shark movies?
- 3:53Speaker 8: Four. I've watched four shark movies.
- 3:54Speaker 5: Oh, good lord.
- 3:55Speaker 8: We watched four shark movies.
- 3:56Speaker 3: I think three of them were sci-fi originals. The other
- 3:59Speaker 3: one was from, like, Australia or something.
- 4:00Speaker 8: I don't know. Which one was that one?
- 4:02Speaker 3: Bait.
- 4:03Speaker 5: Bait.
- 4:03Speaker 3: Not the one with what's-his-face. The... Jamie Foxx Jamie Foxx
- 4:09Speaker 3: I call him Jamie Lee Foxx.
- 4:12Speaker 8: Well the Australian one the bait was pretty good I
- 4:14Speaker 8: actually kind of like that.
- 4:15Speaker 3: One we're still talking about Super Shark.
- 4:16Speaker 8: Or Sand Shark which one?
- 4:18Speaker 3: I went out of order we're watching Sand.
- 4:20Speaker 8: Shark first oh god you went way out of order.
- 4:22Speaker 3: I did because boyfriend was like oh I want to
- 4:25Speaker 3: watch the one with the tank that walks and I'm
- 4:27Speaker 3: like that's Sand Shark and I watched halfway through I'm
- 4:30Speaker 3: like this is not the movie with the tank that walks.
- 4:32Speaker 8: And I'm like, I sat through this.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Dude, that movie was awesome.
- 4:36Speaker 8: That's how she made me watch two of them in one.
- 4:38Speaker 8: But no, I gotta admit, it was pretty awesome. It
- 4:40Speaker 8: was awesomely horrible.
- 4:42Speaker 7: Well, it's sci-fi.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Corin Nemec made that movie awesome.
- 4:44Speaker 9: It was.
- 4:45Speaker 3: At the very end. It was. It had Corin Nemec
- 4:47Speaker 3: in it.
- 4:48Speaker 7: One of the odds he's in a sci-fi original movie.
- 4:50Speaker 3: It had Corin Nemec, who I adore. I don't care.
- 4:53Speaker 3: Parker Lewis, he really can't lose. I love him. He's just.
- 4:56Speaker 8: He played such a jackass.
- 4:57Speaker 3: He was so greasy and slimy in this movie.
- 4:59Speaker 8: He was a greasy, slimy jackass, but he was the
- 5:01Speaker 8: only one that could fucking act out of the whole film.
- 5:04Speaker 3: What are you talking about? Brooke Hogan? Come on now.
- 5:08Speaker 8: Oh, and the sharks. I really bought her as a
- 5:12Speaker 8: shark expert.
- 5:13Speaker 3: She was a scientist.
- 5:14Speaker 8: As a scientist, yeah. I really bought her as a scientist.
- 5:17Speaker 7: I love when they keep making these girls scientists.
- 5:20Speaker 3: Yeah, she had every.
- 5:21Speaker 8: Uh, uh, uh.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Uh, uh, uh.
- 5:23Speaker 5: God, why didn't they just edit that out?
- 5:25Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 5:26Speaker 8: Because that was part of her acting as a scientist.
- 5:29Speaker 7: I always edit it out of our shit.
- 5:30Speaker 5: Yeah, scientists are frequently at a loss for words about
- 5:33Speaker 5: the things that they're an expert in.
- 5:34Speaker 8: Dude, she didn't have a thought in that brain.
- 5:37Speaker 3: Not at all for having a brain. Popping that big
- 5:39Speaker 3: old melon head. Whatever.
- 5:40Speaker 5: I know, her giant man face.
- 5:43Speaker 10: She looks.
- 5:44Speaker 8: She talked like she had cotton in her mouth.
- 5:46Speaker 7: She looks a little too much like her dad for me.
- 5:48Speaker 4: She does.
- 5:48Speaker 7: She's too big.
- 5:49Speaker 5: She's too.
- 5:50Speaker 3: She looks too much like her dad's girlfriend. She's too big.
- 5:52Speaker 7: Well, you know, whatever.
- 5:54Speaker 3: She's alright. I didn't hate her in this. She wasn't
- 5:56Speaker 3: the worst part of the movie. I don't even remember.
- 5:58Speaker 3: The second favorite to Corin Nemec was the Scottish-English pirate guy.
- 6:06Speaker 11: Oh, yeah.
- 6:07Speaker 10: That guy.
- 6:07Speaker 8: Where the hell did he come from? Yeah, he was,
- 6:10Speaker 8: what was he? Sometimes he had a Scottish accent, but
- 6:13Speaker 8: then he would turn into a pirate. But then he
- 6:16Speaker 8: would turn into, yeah.
- 6:17Speaker 3: Like the way me kill the sharks.
- 6:19Speaker 8: Yeah, me, I started talking like me all the time. Me, me,
- 6:24Speaker 8: me thinks. But then he would talk normal. Then he
- 6:27Speaker 8: would go into an Irish accent.
- 6:28Speaker 5: Do these people who are actors, like, not do any, like...
- 6:32Speaker 5: Legwork before they.
- 6:33Speaker 8: No. They were just like, can you do an Irish
- 6:35Speaker 8: pirate guy? I.
- 6:38Speaker 1: He thinks, yes.
- 6:40Speaker 7: Even rehearsal, maybe?
- 6:41Speaker 8: Just something? You got the job.
- 6:43Speaker 3: Because, yeah, it was the same basic premise as just
- 6:46Speaker 3: about every other shark movie ever.
- 6:47Speaker 7: Well, every sci-fi movie. They're all kind of a pattern,
- 6:51Speaker 7: uniform setup anymore.
- 6:52Speaker 3: Well, this one, there's a big party, and it's a
- 6:55Speaker 3: holiday weekend, and there's sharks, but we don't want to
- 6:57Speaker 3: close it down because we're the finalists.
- 6:58Speaker 8: But they're fucking sand sharks.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Sand sharks.
- 7:00Speaker 8: They swim in the sand.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Fuckers are in the sand.
- 7:05Speaker 8: And they swim through the sand like lightning fast.
- 7:08Speaker 3: Hell, yes.
- 7:09Speaker 7: Like sand sharks do.
- 7:11Speaker 8: All over the place. Even in areas that don't have sand,
- 7:13Speaker 8: they swim right through that shit like there's sand through there.
- 7:17Speaker 5: I can just imagine what that CGI looks like.
- 7:19Speaker 3: It was fantastic. Oh, yeah.
- 7:22Speaker 8: Awesomely fantastic. And they even developed a story between two
- 7:25Speaker 8: lifeguards for a large part of the beginning part of
- 7:27Speaker 8: the film that led to nowhere.
- 7:29Speaker 3: There was three lifeguards. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 7:32Speaker 8: Three lifeguards.
- 7:32Speaker 3: There was a love triangle that went absolutely nowhere.
- 7:36Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 7:36Speaker 8: You were just like, okay, what was the purpose of this?
- 7:38Speaker 8: This took up half the movie.
- 7:40Speaker 3: Okay, well, yeah.
- 7:42Speaker 8: Okay, well, all right.
- 7:43Speaker 7: Spoiler alert.
- 7:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:45Speaker 5: Usually it's like the people that fall in love throughout
- 7:47Speaker 5: the course of the movie that get to live.
- 7:49Speaker 7: You would think, depending on what kind of movie.
- 7:51Speaker 3: I think you just switched to a different movie. Wasn't
- 7:53Speaker 3: that Super Shark?
- 7:54Speaker 12: No.
- 7:55Speaker 3: Are you sure?
- 7:55Speaker 7: Did I? Oh yeah, I did, didn't I?
- 7:58Speaker 8: Those two movies are so much the same.
- 8:01Speaker 3: Then we turned around and watched Super Shark, which was
- 8:03Speaker 3: in fact the one that had the walking tank in it.
- 8:05Speaker 10: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 8:06Speaker 7: I did see you posting the trailer for that a
- 8:07Speaker 7: long time ago.
- 8:08Speaker 3: I've seen the trailer. Because the song, the song, listen
- 8:10Speaker 3: to the song. The Super Shark song. It's fucking phenomenal.
- 8:15Speaker 3: It was fucking groundbreaking. It was the best song of
- 8:18Speaker 3: the year. Super Shark. That's how it went, too.
- 8:22Speaker 7: We'll go back to that in a minute, then.
- 8:24Speaker 3: All right. Okay, now we're on Super Shark, which starred
- 8:26Speaker 3: a man, John Schneider.
- 8:28Speaker 11: Oh, well.
- 8:29Speaker 3: Vodou was all up in the shit. It was fantastic. Yeah,
- 8:34Speaker 3: there apparently was some, there was some drilling going about.
- 8:38Speaker 7: Hey, let's leave the sex scenes out of this.
- 8:41Speaker 2: No.
- 8:41Speaker 7: You know that John Schneider.
- 8:43Speaker 3: Oh, hell yeah. He's been doing that, what's that, P90X,
- 8:46Speaker 3: or PX90, P90X? P90X. He's fucking ripped like Jesus, dude.
- 8:49Speaker 8: Or maybe it is PX90.
- 8:50Speaker 3: I don't know, whatever the fuck it is.
- 8:51Speaker 1: P90X.
- 8:52Speaker 3: P90X. It is working for him, and he is, he is,
- 8:54Speaker 3: hell yeah. I'd tap that.
- 8:58Speaker 7: Well, I'm pretty sure we all know that.
- 9:00Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 9:01Speaker 3: But yeah, that was, that was fantastic. I mean, seriously,
- 9:04Speaker 3: there was a shark, and it could walk on land,
- 9:08Speaker 3: and there was a tank that could also walk on land.
- 9:12Speaker 3: That one was fun.
- 9:12Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 9:13Speaker 3: Super shark.
- 9:14Speaker 7: Why do you need your tank to walk?
- 9:17Speaker 3: Because it was all terrain.
- 9:18Speaker 8: Yeah, it was all terrain. They especially designed it to
- 9:21Speaker 8: go over rocks and stuff in Afghanistan.
- 9:23Speaker 3: Unless the shark hits it sideways. Yeah. And then it
- 9:26Speaker 3: just tips over.
- 9:27Speaker 7: That's kind of the downside of the AT-AT.
- 9:29Speaker 8: Didn't they see that?
- 9:30Speaker 7: I mean, didn't they watch Empire?
- 9:31Speaker 8: No, they didn't. This was like a Dachshund version of
- 9:35Speaker 8: the AT-AT.
- 9:35Speaker 2: You know.
- 9:37Speaker 8: That takes our center of gravity lower.
- 9:40Speaker 7: We won't totally fall over now.
- 9:42Speaker 8: It's an ankle biter.
- 9:44Speaker 3: Not the same night, but following along the same vein,
- 9:47Speaker 3: we did watch Jersey Shore Shark Attack.
- 9:50Speaker 8: That one was actually awesome.
- 9:51Speaker 3: I liked Jersey Shore Shark Attack. It was not awesome
- 9:52Speaker 3: enough because not enough guidos got eaten.
- 9:55Speaker 8: No, but it was more of a pro-guido film.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Tried to shut him in a positive light?
- 10:01Speaker 10: Yes, it did.
- 10:02Speaker 3: Because it was very Guido-y. It was very Yo Vinny
- 10:05Speaker 3: and shit.
- 10:06Speaker 8: No, it was funny because it was a complete Jersey
- 10:09Speaker 8: Shore ripoff.
- 10:09Speaker 3: Complete.
- 10:10Speaker 8: Complete.
- 10:11Speaker 3: It wasn't the situation. It was the guy's name. It
- 10:15Speaker 3: wasn't the situation. He was the.
- 10:18Speaker 5: Circumstance.
- 10:20Speaker 8: I don't remember something like that.
- 10:21Speaker 7: Check out the circumstance. No, I don't remember.
- 10:23Speaker 8: She's going to have to look it up. But, yeah,
- 10:25Speaker 8: they all had their own little names. But it was
- 10:27Speaker 8: like you could automatically tell. You could go, oh, that's
- 10:29Speaker 8: the situation. Oh, that's the other guy. And I don't
- 10:32Speaker 8: even watch Jersey Shore.
- 10:33Speaker 3: Why do I know this? You automatically had the Snooki.
- 10:37Speaker 5: Why do I know these people's names?
- 10:39Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 10:39Speaker 3: I've never watched it either.
- 10:41Speaker 5: I've watched it like once, but I have a friend
- 10:44Speaker 5: at work who really loves it. And any time a
- 10:46Speaker 5: cab shows up, she goes, cabs are here. And I
- 10:49Speaker 5: know all about Jim Tan Laundry and T-shirt time.
- 10:51Speaker 7: Thank God I don't know any of this nonsense. T-shirt time.
- 10:54Speaker 8: Yeah, see, I don't know half of that stuff. Like,
- 10:56Speaker 8: I've seen some of the characters just because they get
- 10:59Speaker 8: popped up on the TV screen and I can't change
- 11:01Speaker 8: the channel fast enough.
- 11:02Speaker 7: It's the key in the situation. That's the only ones
- 11:04Speaker 7: that have bled through.
- 11:05Speaker 8: Yeah, I don't know any of the other idiots. Well, yeah,
- 11:06Speaker 8: I think the situation does, like.
- 11:10Speaker 5: Pauly D.
- 11:11Speaker 8: Pauly D.
- 11:12Speaker 3: Yeah, he does.
- 11:12Speaker 8: That's the one who does, like, the energy drink commercials.
- 11:15Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 11:16Speaker 8: Where I'm at work and I can't get to the
- 11:17Speaker 8: radio fast enough.
- 11:19Speaker 3: Oh, the Snooki's name was Nookie. Nookie, yeah.
- 11:21Speaker 7: Oh, that's awesome. Very creative.
- 11:23Speaker 5: Way to cover that up.
- 11:24Speaker 3: J Money.
- 11:24Speaker 8: Was that J Wow?
- 11:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I can't find the other... Balzac.
- 11:30Speaker 5: Who was that?
- 11:32Speaker 3: I don't know, it's just a guy's name on there.
- 11:34Speaker 7: You just wanted to say Balzac.
- 11:36Speaker 3: I did. Yeah, I can't find it. Oh, Joey Fatone
- 11:42Speaker 3: was in it, too.
- 11:43Speaker 7: Oh, of course he was. He was just down the
- 11:46Speaker 7: street working at the quickie mart.
- 11:48Speaker 3: I don't know. Now we're into handsome Guido and Guido Honk.
- 11:52Speaker 3: So I can't find the guy that I was talking
- 11:54Speaker 3: about originally. But it was... Like I said, there was something.
- 12:01Speaker 3: I'll give it that much. There was some Guidos getting eaten.
- 12:03Speaker 3: That was definitely fun.
- 12:05Speaker 11: But.
- 12:07Speaker 3: Oh, the complication.
- 12:08Speaker 8: The complication.
- 12:09Speaker 3: Here's the complication.
- 12:10Speaker 12: Nice.
- 12:11Speaker 2: That's amazing.
- 12:12Speaker 3: Yeah, it was fantastic.
- 12:14Speaker 10: Yeah, and then.
- 12:15Speaker 3: Completely different, actually. A decent shark movie. Actually, they were
- 12:17Speaker 3: all fun. I wouldn't call it not decent movies. But
- 12:20Speaker 3: then we watched Bait, which we just mentioned a couple
- 12:21Speaker 3: minutes ago. Yeah. Which was actually pretty fun because it's
- 12:24Speaker 3: in Australia, which everything in fucking Australia is out to
- 12:27Speaker 3: fucking kill everybody. I don't care.
- 12:28Speaker 5: That's scary. Damn, Australia, you scary.
- 12:32Speaker 8: Yeah, but it was kind of based around a tsunami
- 12:35Speaker 8: that comes in and I guess these people are in.
- 12:38Speaker 5: Sharks in people's pools.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Well, what are they in?
- 12:40Speaker 3: They're... Like a grocery store?
- 12:42Speaker 8: Like some kind of grocery store that's got a.
- 12:44Speaker 3: It looks like it's in a garage or something.
- 12:46Speaker 8: I don't know. Well, they've got a parking garage, too,
- 12:48Speaker 8: and then... The parking garage gets flooded, and part of
- 12:51Speaker 8: the lower part of the grocery store gets flooded, and
- 12:54Speaker 8: then there's sharks.
- 12:55Speaker 3: In the grocery store.
- 12:56Speaker 8: In the grocery store. I think we.
- 12:57Speaker 9: Talked about this, like, when they were going to make it, like,
- 12:59Speaker 9: years ago. Because I believe you then were like, oh my.
- 13:02Speaker 7: God, this sounds like the most awesome movie ever.
- 13:03Speaker 3: And it was. It was pretty good.
- 13:04Speaker 5: Wouldn't people, like, not go shopping in the grocery store
- 13:06Speaker 5: if it was all flooded?
- 13:07Speaker 8: They were already in there. No, they were already there
- 13:09Speaker 8: when the tsunami hit.
- 13:10Speaker 10: When the flood hit.
- 13:11Speaker 3: So then they were, like, stranded on top of the shelves. Yeah. Oh, okay.
- 13:14Speaker 5: So that sounds, like, totally plausible.
- 13:16Speaker 3: I'm like, how the fuck did these sharks get in there?
- 13:18Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:19Speaker 8: Well, to make things even more complicated, the boy who
- 13:22Speaker 8: works at the grocery store, you know, an earlier scene,
- 13:26Speaker 8: him and his fiancée, his fiancée' s brother, both him and
- 13:31Speaker 8: the brother.
- 13:32Speaker 3: Hold on, they were all lifeguards.
- 13:33Speaker 8: Lifeguards. Oh, they were all lifeguards. And his fiancée' s brother
- 13:38Speaker 8: got eaten by a shark, and she blames him.
- 13:40Speaker 3: I think he blames himself.
- 13:42Speaker 8: Or maybe he blames himself.
- 13:42Speaker 3: He blames himself.
- 13:43Speaker 8: Oh, that's right, yeah. Anyways, they broke up. So then
- 13:46Speaker 8: she shows... With her damn Asian boyfriend. Yeah, back up. Like,
- 13:50Speaker 8: a couple years later, five years later, ten years later.
- 13:53Speaker 3: She went to Japan.
- 13:54Speaker 8: Whatever. Anyways, she shows up and it's.
- 13:56Speaker 7: Like, oh my god.
- 13:58Speaker 8: And then the tsunami comes.
- 13:59Speaker 3: And her boyfriend gets eaten. I just ruined that for you.
- 14:07Speaker 5: And does he blame himself for that one?
- 14:09Speaker 8: No, no, actually he doesn't.
- 14:11Speaker 3: He's like, fuck that guy.
- 14:11Speaker 8: I don't think he cares too much.
- 14:13Speaker 7: And the sharks got in there because the doors are motion-censored.
- 14:16Speaker 7: All they have to do is swim in front of it.
- 14:17Speaker 3: Oh. Yeah. But didn't they have to go through the
- 14:20Speaker 3: parking garage to get there? And the parking garage was
- 14:23Speaker 3: only halfway flooded. How could this door be more flooded than.
- 14:25Speaker 7: The parking garage?
- 14:27Speaker 5: They had a walking tank that took them over there.
- 14:28Speaker 7: They borrowed that from the other shark movie.
- 14:30Speaker 3: I was just, I mean, aside from, I like the movie.
- 14:33Speaker 3: I like the movie, just, I question some things.
- 14:36Speaker 4: The layout.
- 14:37Speaker 3: Yeah, the layout.
- 14:38Speaker 8: How did they get in?
- 14:39Speaker 5: I want to go to Bath Pro Shop. I was
- 14:41Speaker 5: thinking about the fish tank.
- 14:43Speaker 3: Never been there. We'll never go there.
- 14:44Speaker 5: The fish tank is pretty cool. The fish tank is awesome.
- 14:46Speaker 8: My kid loves the fish tank. Big fish.
- 14:48Speaker 7: It's got a waterfall.
- 14:49Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 14:50Speaker 8: Yeah, with goats.
- 14:50Speaker 5: That's taxidermy.
- 14:52Speaker 7: Going down the waterfall.
- 14:53Speaker 3: No, no.
- 14:54Speaker 7: They're just kind.
- 14:54Speaker 8: Of out and about. They're kind of posed. They're dead.
- 14:58Speaker 8: They're staring at you.
- 14:58Speaker 3: That's why I won't go there. I don't like dead animals.
- 15:00Speaker 8: She doesn't like dead animals.
- 15:01Speaker 3: Unless I can eat them.
- 15:03Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 15:04Speaker 3: She's not like, oh, poor animal.
- 15:05Speaker 7: She's just like, oh, creepy.
- 15:07Speaker 5: This guy that I know that is, like, an antiques guy,
- 15:10Speaker 5: he has a booth at Bernie's Bargain Barn. He gave me, like,
- 15:14Speaker 5: I went to get a bed frame, and he gave
- 15:15Speaker 5: me a deer skull. I was real excited about that.
- 15:18Speaker 9: Last weekend, I sat next to a deer head all day.
- 15:21Speaker 9: I did the flea off-market thing and sat at a table,
- 15:25Speaker 9: and the guy next to me, my neighbor, who was
- 15:26Speaker 9: very cool, had a deer head sitting there that he
- 15:29Speaker 9: kept trying to unload on people all day long.
- 15:31Speaker 7: Was it, like, a.
- 15:32Speaker 5: Taxidermy deer head?
- 15:32Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, it was funny.
- 15:33Speaker 7: How much did he want for it?
- 15:34Speaker 8: A lot.
- 15:35Speaker 5: Oh, okay.
- 15:36Speaker 9: Well, I mean, it was a reasonable amount, actually. It
- 15:38Speaker 9: was a 10-pointer, which I heard during the pitch many
- 15:40Speaker 9: times throughout the day. But the best part, like, I
- 15:43Speaker 9: almost wanted it after he told the story, and I
- 15:45Speaker 9: don't really need a deer head on my wall. But
- 15:48Speaker 9: when it wasn't just like, oh, I bought this from somebody, or, oh,
- 15:51Speaker 9: I shot this. His story was, I was a little kid,
- 15:54Speaker 9: and my dad came running in the house and went.
- 15:56Speaker 5: I got a buck!
- 15:58Speaker 1: And then.
- 15:58Speaker 12: he'd hit it with his car and it like limped
- 16:02Speaker 12: off down into the valley and he made his son
- 16:05Speaker 12: come with him and they tracked it and he made
- 16:08Speaker 12: him like He.
- 16:10Speaker 7: Made him, like, gut it out there in the field
- 16:12Speaker 7: with him, and he was traumatized for life.
- 16:14Speaker 5: How did he get rid of that?
- 16:15Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying.
- 16:16Speaker 7: He's been, like, his dad had it for years.
- 16:18Speaker 3: That's a horrible story.
- 16:19Speaker 11: Well, I know.
- 16:20Speaker 7: He seemed very... And that's the thing.
- 16:21Speaker 4: He was like.
- 16:22Speaker 7: But he's like.
- 16:23Speaker 3: I think he made it up.
- 16:24Speaker 9: At that point, he'd seen it through, and, like, he
- 16:26Speaker 9: went to the taxidermist with him, and he, like, he
- 16:28Speaker 9: saw the whole thing get taken care of, and then
- 16:31Speaker 9: he said he had it on his wall for about
- 16:33Speaker 9: five years.
- 16:33Speaker 6: Or so, and.
- 16:35Speaker 9: I was just like, you want to buy a mug
- 16:37Speaker 9: with Stephen Simeon on it?
- 16:39Speaker 7: That's all I have, dude.
- 16:40Speaker 8: What do you want? We had a deer head on
- 16:42Speaker 8: our wall for a while, and I never did understand why.
- 16:44Speaker 3: We never had a deer head.
- 16:45Speaker 8: On our wall. No, no, no, no. My parents, when
- 16:47Speaker 8: I was growing up, had a.
- 16:48Speaker 6: Deer head on.
- 16:48Speaker 8: Let me clarify.
- 16:49Speaker 3: There's no deer head in the Bastion of Awesome.
- 16:50Speaker 8: Okay, whatever. I had a deer head on the wall,
- 16:53Speaker 8: and I never understood why, because my dad never hunted.
- 16:58Speaker 8: He was never a hunter.
- 16:59Speaker 5: It was a staple of the 70s.
- 17:00Speaker 8: It must have been. It was one of those things that, like,
- 17:03Speaker 8: that and his pipe collection.
- 17:05Speaker 7: He never smoked a pipe.
- 17:07Speaker 8: He did for a while. He tried smoking pipes. And
- 17:09Speaker 8: he got into drinking beer for a little bit.
- 17:11Speaker 5: He realized he was too square.
- 17:12Speaker 8: Probably. But I was just like, I never did understand
- 17:16Speaker 8: why we had a deer on the wall. Because I
- 17:17Speaker 8: knew he had bought it at a flea market.
- 17:20Speaker 5: It was that 1970s fantasy about being a manly man with.
- 17:24Speaker 3: Your wood paneling. Did you have wood panel?
- 17:25Speaker 8: Yes, we had an entire... Basement was nothing but wood paneling,
- 17:30Speaker 8: and to this day I want wood paneling in a
- 17:32Speaker 8: basement area.
- 17:33Speaker 9: Mine went the other way. I lived in wood paneling
- 17:35Speaker 9: for years, and now I'm just like, oh, God, ghetto
- 17:37Speaker 9: wood paneling.
- 17:38Speaker 5: He probably bathed in mandam daily.
- 17:40Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 17:41Speaker 8: No, Dad used ginseng for men.
- 17:45Speaker 3: Jeremiah has high karate in his bathroom.
- 17:48Speaker 7: Of course he does.
- 17:52Speaker 8: Musk for men.
- 17:54Speaker 7: No brute.
- 17:55Speaker 8: Well, he had Baruch, too.
- 17:56Speaker 7: I think every dad is issued.
- 17:59Speaker 3: I don't know. I didn't have a dad. High five!
- 18:01Speaker 5: We're bastards!
- 18:03Speaker 3: You had a cabinet.
- 18:04Speaker 8: You opened the cabinet.
- 18:05Speaker 3: No, my parents were married when I was born.
- 18:07Speaker 5: That's true. Only I'm a bastard.
- 18:11Speaker 3: They didn't get divorced until I was a month old.
- 18:13Speaker 3: Thank you very much.
- 18:15Speaker 9: I think it was actually just recently I started doing
- 18:18Speaker 9: the math and figuring out what an accident I was.
- 18:21Speaker 7: I'm pretty sure they weren't together already.
- 18:23Speaker 5: Your mom was like 15.
- 18:25Speaker 7: I don't think she was that young. She was like 16.
- 18:28Speaker 7: She was young. But again, that was kind of how
- 18:30Speaker 7: it worked back in the day. And he wasn't, I mean, shit,
- 18:32Speaker 7: he was barely out of high school.
- 18:34Speaker 3: Anyway, sharks.
- 18:36Speaker 7: You know, sharks.
- 18:37Speaker 5: Now that we've discussed this lovely story of each of
- 18:40Speaker 5: our birth, our birth, whatever.
- 18:43Speaker 7: Bastard children and deer heads. Oh, yeah, and sharks.
- 18:46Speaker 3: Sharks.
- 18:47Speaker 8: I didn't discuss mine.
- 18:48Speaker 3: Go ahead.
- 18:49Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 18:49Speaker 3: We talked about your wood paneling.
- 18:51Speaker 7: I think we told your story a long time ago.
- 18:53Speaker 8: Yeah, my parents were together. They still are.
- 18:55Speaker 3: They are friends.
- 18:55Speaker 8: They constantly annoy each other.
- 18:57Speaker 5: That's what marriage is.
- 18:59Speaker 8: They annoy each other, and they would die without each other,
- 19:01Speaker 8: pretty much. Well, my dad would, but probably not my mom.
- 19:04Speaker 7: Your mom would be like, finally, I can do something.
- 19:06Speaker 8: My mom's pretty damn strong.
- 19:07Speaker 3: Yeah, your mom is pretty awesome.
- 19:09Speaker 8: But, yeah, dad would be completely lost without her. I
- 19:12Speaker 8: can't imagine what would happen if she ever passed away.
- 19:15Speaker 5: Good thing women live longer than men, on average.
- 19:18Speaker 3: Yeah. Sharks. So yeah, we watched four different shark movies.
- 19:24Speaker 3: I love shark movies. I've got Two-Headed Shark Attack in there.
- 19:26Speaker 3: I need to watch it. So I'm pretty excited about that.
- 19:29Speaker 7: You've got an obsession.
- 19:30Speaker 5: What if I had a taxidermy shark head? Would you
- 19:32Speaker 5: want that?
- 19:32Speaker 4: No.
- 19:34Speaker 7: How about a live shark swimming around in a tank?
- 19:36Speaker 3: That would be awesome.
- 19:37Speaker 5: Okay.
- 19:37Speaker 7: You should work on that.
- 19:38Speaker 8: What about a fake taxidermy shark head?
- 19:41Speaker 7: That might be cool.
- 19:41Speaker 8: With a skull?
- 19:42Speaker 3: No.
- 19:43Speaker 4: No?
- 19:44Speaker 3: No big mouth Billy Shark.
- 19:46Speaker 7: Billy Shark. Let's see. He sings the theme to Jaw.
- 19:51Speaker 8: What do I sing one way or another? You're better
- 19:58Speaker 8: at Mac than I.
- 20:02Speaker 5: We gotta get on that.
- 20:03Speaker 3: Seriously.
- 20:04Speaker 8: Oh the shark baby has such teeth.
- 20:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 20:10Speaker 7: And he shows them pearly white.
- 20:16Speaker 4: Just a jackknife has old Maggie Heath, baby And he
- 20:22Speaker 4: keeps it out.
- 20:25Speaker 7: Of sight You know when that shark bites with his teeth.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Baby Scarlet billows start to.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Spread Fancy gloves, though, where's.
- 20:42Speaker 7: Old Maggie Heath, babe?
- 20:45Speaker 1: So there's never, never a trace of red.
- 20:51Speaker 2: Now on the sidewalk, uh-huh, uh-huh.
- 20:53Speaker 7: Ooh, it's Sunday morning, uh-huh. Lies a body just oozing light.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Commission time. If leaving, please replace your inner car speaker
- 21:06Speaker 2: before releasing brakes or starting motor. Do not back out.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Drive to the aisle in front of you and exit.
- 21:15Speaker 2: And now, for those remaining.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Next week on U62.
- 21:21Speaker 6: He's back. And this time, he's mad.
- 21:27Speaker 8: Gandhi 2.
- 21:29Speaker 6: No more Mr. Passive Resistance.
- 21:32Speaker 2: He's out to kick some butt.
- 21:37Speaker 4: Mad mother, you don't want to mess with me.
- 21:45Speaker 10: Don't move, slime ball.
- 21:49Speaker 8: He's a one-man wrecking crew. But he also knows how
- 21:56Speaker 8: to party.
- 21:57Speaker 13: Give me.
- 22:00Speaker 8: A stick, medium rare.
- 22:04Speaker 6: There is only one law. His law.
- 22:07Speaker 1: Gandhi 2.

- 26:48Speaker 3: Are all down, I'll see you through the rain.
- 26:50Speaker 1: All right.
- 26:50Speaker 3: Other than that, you didn't watch The Hole.
- 26:52Speaker 8: No, I did not. I was doing something else.
- 26:54Speaker 7: Hey, I watched The Hole.
- 26:55Speaker 3: What did you think about The Hole?
- 26:58Speaker 7: I think I like it.
- 27:00Speaker 9: It's Joe Dante. It's very Joe Dante-esque. But it's also,
- 27:06Speaker 9: I don't love it. Because to me, it's.
- 27:09Speaker 7: Very familiar stuff.
- 27:11Speaker 9: I think there's a really cool setup and it's got
- 27:13Speaker 9: this good idea. And then it's, to me, see what
- 27:17Speaker 9: you think, it just sort of falls back on stuff
- 27:19Speaker 9: I've seen in other movies. Like each little snippet is
- 27:22Speaker 9: something that's kind of just sort of something I'm familiar with.
- 27:26Speaker 3: To me, the whole thing is played out like a
- 27:27Speaker 3: really long extended Goosebumps episode.
- 27:30Speaker 7: Yeah, kind of.
- 27:31Speaker 5: I love Goosebumps.
- 27:32Speaker 3: This is a lame one, though. This is a lame
- 27:34Speaker 3: episode that goes on for an hour and a half,
- 27:36Speaker 3: almost two hours.
- 27:37Speaker 5: It's not as good as Monster Blood.
- 27:39Speaker 3: No. It just plays out. It's just.
- 27:43Speaker 7: It's fun, but it's not.
- 27:44Speaker 2: I.
- 27:44Speaker 7: Didn't even find it fun, really.
- 27:46Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 27:48Speaker 7: Again, I kind of liked it as much as I
- 27:49Speaker 7: liked Goosebumps. The end was stupid. Yeah, see, I didn't
- 27:51Speaker 7: like the end.
- 27:52Speaker 8: How did I get out of watching this one?
- 27:53Speaker 3: I don't know. You might have been at the gym.
- 27:55Speaker 3: Or just... I don't know. I don't know. You might
- 27:57Speaker 3: have been in the computer room and just internet and
- 27:59Speaker 3: they're forming and just... Whatever. Whatever. But yeah, I just
- 28:03Speaker 3: thought the whole thing was just eh. I was very disappointed.
- 28:06Speaker 3: I love Joe Dante.
- 28:07Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 28:08Speaker 7: He's made some of the best movies ever.
- 28:10Speaker 3: It's like right in the hallway. I got one of those.
- 28:12Speaker 3: Everybody's like, you got Gizmo's autograph? No, fuck you. I
- 28:15Speaker 3: got it.
- 28:15Speaker 8: Gizmo's autograph. He signed it with his little tiny hand.
- 28:21Speaker 3: Fucked hard. So then I got one of Spike's signed too.
- 28:26Speaker 3: I was just going to take the picture. He's like, oh,
- 28:27Speaker 3: I'll sign it. I'm like, okay, whatever, dude. Cut in
- 28:30Speaker 3: front of somebody. For free?
- 28:31Speaker 5: He signed it for free?
- 28:32Speaker 3: Yeah, that's when he was signing stuff for free.
- 28:33Speaker 7: Yeah, he was pretty awesome. I'm hoping he comes back
- 28:36Speaker 7: so we can talk to him.
- 28:36Speaker 3: Because he was awesome. They're like photocopied pictures. It's not
- 28:39Speaker 3: even like photo quality stuff. But still, it's awesome. It
- 28:41Speaker 3: was free. Joe Dante's awesome. I mean, it's one of
- 28:43Speaker 3: the best movies. He's amazing. That's why I was like, okay,
- 28:46Speaker 3: I'm going to watch this movie. It's going to be
- 28:48Speaker 3: fucking awesome.
- 28:50Speaker 7: Well, it's one of those.
- 28:51Speaker 9: I don't think directors should slow down that much. I
- 28:53Speaker 9: think they start to get out of their.
- 28:57Speaker 7: You know, it's like, because it had been a while
- 28:59Speaker 7: since he'd done one, hadn't it?
- 29:00Speaker 3: I think it had been quite some time.
- 29:02Speaker 5: It had been a while.
- 29:02Speaker 3: This was just a big disappointment.
- 29:03Speaker 7: And what it felt like to me was the same
- 29:05Speaker 7: thing with, and we'll get into it later because I'd
- 29:08Speaker 7: do a whole episode on this, but I kind of
- 29:09Speaker 7: felt the same thing when I watched The Ward. It
- 29:11Speaker 7: had been a long time since Carpenter had done a movie, too.
- 29:14Speaker 3: I loved The War.
- 29:15Speaker 7: See, I liked it, but it didn't feel like his
- 29:17Speaker 7: other stuff.
- 29:18Speaker 3: But he had Amber Heard. Amber Heard's awesome.
- 29:21Speaker 8: We'll get back to that.
- 29:22Speaker 9: But again, it's one of those, like, directors go, like,
- 29:24Speaker 9: and they just knock stuff out year after year.
- 29:26Speaker 3: For a month. I'm not gay, but for Amber Heard,
- 29:28Speaker 3: I totally would be.
- 29:29Speaker 5: And she's gay, so.
- 29:30Speaker 3: I know, bro. You're halfway there.
- 29:32Speaker 5: She's already meeting you halfway there.
- 29:33Speaker 7: She's waiting for you.
- 29:34Speaker 5: That's how I feel about Kristen Ritter. I just love
- 29:38Speaker 5: her weird little.
- 29:39Speaker 12: Monkey face.
- 29:39Speaker 7: I like her mean face, but yeah.
- 29:40Speaker 5: I love her weird little monkey face. There's something about
- 29:43Speaker 5: her that is so adorable to me.
- 29:44Speaker 7: You were going to win her over like that.
- 29:46Speaker 5: She's just so weird looking, but so cute.
- 29:50Speaker 3: Amber Heard's just hot, though. Yeah. Amber Heard is hot.
- 29:54Speaker 3: Most of the time. I've seen some pictures where she
- 29:55Speaker 3: just looks like.
- 29:56Speaker 8: A train wreck.
- 29:56Speaker 7: Everybody's got a rough day, man.
- 29:58Speaker 3: She's had some. I'm telling you, I want to watch
- 30:00Speaker 3: All the Boys Love Mandy Lane again. Yes. All the boys,
- 30:03Speaker 3: they do love Mandy Lane.
- 30:04Speaker 7: It's pretty impressive.
- 30:05Speaker 3: Okay. But the whole, yeah, I was very disappointed. I
- 30:08Speaker 3: was very let down.
- 30:08Speaker 7: I was marginally depressed on it, but, you know, I
- 30:11Speaker 7: wasn't totally let down. Again, it's still there.
- 30:15Speaker 9: Again, I think he's just kind of out of practice. Like,
- 30:17Speaker 9: And it probably just needed a better script, really, because
- 30:19Speaker 9: the visuals are there.
- 30:20Speaker 10: Yeah, the script sucked.
- 30:20Speaker 7: The setup, the very beginning, with the hole and the
- 30:23Speaker 7: whole creepiness of finding it and them sort of experimenting
- 30:26Speaker 7: with it, that part was fun. But, I don't know,
- 30:28Speaker 7: it just gets bogged down in all these other weird little...
- 30:31Speaker 7: Each one has.
- 30:32Speaker 9: Their own weird side story. I know that's the whole premise,
- 30:34Speaker 9: but I just... I got over that real quick.
- 30:36Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, boring. The last one that we're going to...
- 30:41Speaker 3: I watched Husk, too, but I don't think there's any
- 30:42Speaker 3: point in discussing this. I watched it by myself, and
- 30:44Speaker 3: nobody's going to know anything about that. It's Husk. It
- 30:47Speaker 3: had Jimmy from fucking Harper's Island. And I love Harper's
- 30:50Speaker 3: Island and I love Jimmy. But that one was stupid.
- 30:53Speaker 3: It had a killer scarecrow. Yeah, it was dumb. But
- 30:57Speaker 3: then we watched The Devil's Carnival.
- 31:00Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 31:00Speaker 8: We're probably going to get a bunch of people hate
- 31:02Speaker 8: us for this.
- 31:04Speaker 3: Fuck that movie.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Eh, fine.
- 31:05Speaker 6: Feel free.
- 31:06Speaker 7: You're entitled to your opinion.
- 31:08Speaker 3: I loved Repo, the genetic opera.
- 31:10Speaker 6: I did too.
- 31:10Speaker 3: It was fantastic. It was amazing. It held my attention.
- 31:13Speaker 3: It was just All the songs were fantastic.
- 31:17Speaker 7: It's a lot of fun.
- 31:18Speaker 9: And the songs are relatively good.
- 31:20Speaker 8: So we went into this thinking that this was going
- 31:22Speaker 8: to be as good.
- 31:24Speaker 3: Repo Part 2.
- 31:24Speaker 8: Yeah, or better.
- 31:26Speaker 7: I would hope, yeah.
- 31:28Speaker 8: Than Repo, and it wasn't.
- 31:32Speaker 5: I only watched the first half hour of it, but
- 31:34Speaker 5: I kind of.
- 31:35Speaker 3: It's only like 55 minutes long. Oh, really?
- 31:36Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 31:36Speaker 5: Well, then I watched half of it, and I kind
- 31:38Speaker 5: of liked it. But I got to the part where
- 31:39Speaker 5: the guy kills the one girl with the knife.
- 31:41Speaker 3: Yeah, I just.
- 31:43Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 31:44Speaker 3: I hated it all through. The only, the only redeeming
- 31:47Speaker 3: thing about this damn movie is after the credits start
- 31:50Speaker 3: at the end.
- 31:51Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 31:52Speaker 3: There's a song.
- 31:53Speaker 8: Credits end at the end.
- 31:54Speaker 3: There's a credit. That song that the girl sings. It's
- 31:56Speaker 3: in the trailer.
- 31:57Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 31:58Speaker 3: Jessica Lowndes. Low, Low, I don't know how to say
- 32:00Speaker 3: her name. Jessica L-O-W-D-N-E-S or whatever.
- 32:03Speaker 7: Whatever you say.
- 32:04Speaker 8: Lowndes.
- 32:05Speaker 3: Whatever, I probably just spelled it wrong, too. I'm not
- 32:08Speaker 3: fucking looking at the internet.
- 32:09Speaker 7: That one girl, who cares?
- 32:10Speaker 3: That one girl was in Altitude, and I fucking hated Altitude.
- 32:13Speaker 3: I hated this movie even worse. It was just so pointless.
- 32:16Speaker 8: That was the only reason I wanted to watch the
- 32:18Speaker 8: movie was because of the song. And I thought, oh,
- 32:19Speaker 8: this is great. I like this song. And that was
- 32:22Speaker 8: the only song I liked out.
- 32:23Speaker 3: Of the whole movie. And it was after the end
- 32:26Speaker 3: credits started.
- 32:27Speaker 8: I had to sit through this whole movie just to
- 32:28Speaker 8: get the ending of it. I could have just fast-forwarded
- 32:31Speaker 8: through all of it. But it was just way over
- 32:32Speaker 8: the top to me.
- 32:33Speaker 3: And not in a fun way.
- 32:34Speaker 8: No, not in a fun way.
- 32:35Speaker 3: And it was just meandering.
- 32:39Speaker 8: It just kept going everywhere.
- 32:42Speaker 3: And it was just dumb. And I love Sean Patrick Flannery,
- 32:44Speaker 3: as everybody knows. But he looked weird.
- 32:47Speaker 8: I didn't even realize it was Sean Patrick Flannery.
- 32:49Speaker 2: I didn't either.
- 32:50Speaker 8: He was like, it's Sean Patrick Flannery. I was like, where?
- 32:52Speaker 8: She's like, right there. I was like, get out of here.
- 32:54Speaker 8: That's not him.
- 32:55Speaker 5: I was pretty sure the one guy was Bill Moseley.
- 32:57Speaker 5: I was like, that has to be Bill Moseley. But
- 32:59Speaker 5: then I had to look it up. And then I
- 33:00Speaker 5: was like, holy shit, that's Sean Patrick Flannery.
- 33:03Speaker 3: And Alexa Vega was in it.
- 33:05Speaker 5: Who's that?
- 33:06Speaker 3: She was the main chick from Repo.
- 33:09Speaker 6: She's in Repo.
- 33:09Speaker 7: She's the spy kid.
- 33:10Speaker 8: I don't remember.
- 33:12Speaker 7: She used to be the spy kid.
- 33:13Speaker 5: I didn't really like Repo, though.
- 33:15Speaker 3: I loved Repo.
- 33:16Speaker 5: But I think the girl that got killed with a
- 33:18Speaker 5: knife on the little spinny thing, she was retarded. But
- 33:21Speaker 5: she was pretty.
- 33:21Speaker 3: Yeah, that's Jessica Lown. She sings the song that I'm
- 33:26Speaker 3: talking about. I can't remember the name of the song
- 33:27Speaker 3: right now, but it's a really good song. It's the
- 33:29Speaker 3: best part of the whole damn movie. What are they saying?
- 33:32Speaker 8: Was this originally some kind of a traveling opera or
- 33:35Speaker 8: what was it?
- 33:36Speaker 3: Stage production?
- 33:36Speaker 8: Stage production. So they're saying that people that follow the
- 33:39Speaker 8: stage production probably really like this film. We knew nothing
- 33:42Speaker 8: of the stage production.
- 33:43Speaker 3: I knew that it existed.
- 33:44Speaker 8: Well, I didn't know anything about it.
- 33:46Speaker 5: It's probably cooler to watch live.
- 33:47Speaker 8: Yeah, it's one of those things. And maybe if you
- 33:49Speaker 8: were a fan of that, you would really like the movie.
- 33:51Speaker 8: But coming into it completely blindsided, expecting Repo and not
- 33:54Speaker 8: getting Repo, you'd be kind of upset.
- 33:56Speaker 9: I always hate that reasoning, really, though. When people always go, oh,
- 33:59Speaker 9: you have to read the book first. I'm like, if
- 34:01Speaker 9: it's a movie, it should stand on its own as
- 34:03Speaker 9: a movie. It shouldn't have to have a book to
- 34:05Speaker 9: do backstory.
- 34:06Speaker 7: You shouldn't have to have seen it on Broadway first
- 34:08Speaker 7: or something. It should be able to be a self-contained thing.
- 34:12Speaker 8: Yeah, this is a movie that was made specifically only
- 34:14Speaker 8: for a small audience.
- 34:18Speaker 3: Us.
- 34:18Speaker 8: I think people.
- 34:18Speaker 3: Are either going to really hate it.
- 34:24Speaker 8: Really love it yeah and unfortunately we were the people
- 34:26Speaker 8: that really hated it it doesn't mean that the people's
- 34:29Speaker 8: acting was horrible they're all good actors you know it's
- 34:32Speaker 8: just some of them so it was a little over
- 34:34Speaker 8: the top just a little too.
- 34:36Speaker 3: Over the top the guy who stabbed the girl was kind.
- 34:38Speaker 8: Of hot though yeah he was kind of hot which
- 34:40Speaker 8: one the the greaser guy yeah yeah okay yeah he
- 34:42Speaker 8: was that whole area and her that was kind of
- 34:45Speaker 8: redeemable but you know.
- 34:48Speaker 5: He like made out with a girl in front of her.
- 34:50Speaker 5: He's like, oh no, baby, I only like you. And
- 34:52Speaker 5: she's like, okay.
- 34:53Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 34:54Speaker 3: She's a retard.
- 34:54Speaker 5: She was retarded. When she got stabbed, I was like,
- 34:57Speaker 5: you should have seen that coming, dumb bitch.
- 34:59Speaker 3: But yeah, I was very, very, very disappointed in that movie.
- 35:03Speaker 3: I was angry at it. I was like.
- 35:06Speaker 8: The songs weren't as good as Repo songs.
- 35:08Speaker 3: The songs all sucked, except for the one.
- 35:10Speaker 8: The one that's in.
- 35:11Speaker 3: The trailer where they lure you in.
- 35:13Speaker 7: That's how you make a good trailer. Sucker people.
- 35:16Speaker 8: God, the trailer was fucking awesome. I waited for this
- 35:19Speaker 8: thing to come out because I was like, oh my god,
- 35:20Speaker 8: this is going to be awesome. And then it completely
- 35:22Speaker 8: went in an area that I didn't even think it
- 35:24Speaker 8: was going to go.
- 35:24Speaker 7: Stupid area.
- 35:25Speaker 8: I was like, what?
- 35:27Speaker 7: Huh?
- 35:28Speaker 8: What's going on here? Is it time for me to
- 35:32Speaker 8: go to bed yet?
- 35:33Speaker 3: What do you mean that was only 55 minutes long?
- 35:35Speaker 3: It felt like an entire lifetime of stupid. I hated
- 35:39Speaker 3: that movie.
- 35:41Speaker 8: Sorry, Bill Mosley.
- 35:43Speaker 7: He makes a lot of stuff.
- 35:44Speaker 3: He makes anything. Anything from Mosley. He makes a lot
- 35:47Speaker 3: of stuff.
- 35:48Speaker 7: You can pay him any.
- 35:48Speaker 8: He wasn't even in this that much.
- 35:50Speaker 3: He was barely in it.
- 35:51Speaker 8: Yeah, he was barely in this. I was like, oh,
- 35:53Speaker 8: Bill Mosley's going to be in it. He'll probably be
- 35:55Speaker 8: in it quite a bit.
- 35:56Speaker 3: He's barely in it.
- 35:57Speaker 10: Barely in it.
- 35:57Speaker 3: He's kind of a whiny bitch in it.
- 35:59Speaker 10: Yeah, a little bit.
- 36:01Speaker 8: Oh, well, whatever.
- 36:02Speaker 7: He didn't have a huge part in Repo, really.
- 36:04Speaker 8: Okay. Okay. Make sure I'm not playing footsie with Marlena. Oh, no,
- 36:08Speaker 8: that's not me.
- 36:09Speaker 5: The only song I remember from Repo was at the
- 36:11Speaker 5: opera tonight. That's the only one I remember.
- 36:14Speaker 8: No, I remember the Close to the End song. The
- 36:17Speaker 8: one that Giles did.
- 36:20Speaker 7: All the Elektra stuff. Her Alexa stuff was good. Like
- 36:23Speaker 7: her whole little rocking out in her room thing.
- 36:26Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 36:26Speaker 7: That had Joan Jett show up for no good reason
- 36:28Speaker 7: except she's fucking Joan Jett.
- 36:30Speaker 8: Gosh, no.
- 36:30Speaker 5: I don't remember liking it. It was too, like, weird
- 36:33Speaker 5: to me, which is weird because I like musicals and
- 36:35Speaker 5: things like that.
- 36:35Speaker 3: I loved it. When the Zydrate song comes on my read,
- 36:39Speaker 3: and my MP3 player, I'm like, hell yeah.
- 36:41Speaker 7: I love that song.
- 36:42Speaker 9: Her big number at the end is kind of at it. Like, again,
- 36:44Speaker 9: I expected more to come of her than, you know,
- 36:48Speaker 9: like that. I mean, her performance is pretty good anyway,
- 36:50Speaker 9: and then she, like, totally knocks out that big number
- 36:52Speaker 9: at the end, and I was like, Okay, she's going
- 36:54Speaker 9: to start getting real movies now, right? And she's continued
- 36:58Speaker 9: to act, but she didn't move up in her ranks much.
- 37:01Speaker 7: I don't know. I expected more.
- 37:01Speaker 3: She's in this movie. She's in Devil's Carnival. Barely. I know.
- 37:06Speaker 5: Which movie I want to see again. That's a musical
- 37:09Speaker 5: that I love. Reefer Madness.
- 37:13Speaker 3: Kristen Bell. Kristen Bell.
- 37:15Speaker 8: Goodbye, Mary Sunshine.
- 37:18Speaker 5: And she gets all sexy and stuff.
- 37:19Speaker 11: Mm-hmm.
- 37:21Speaker 5: Such babes.
- 37:22Speaker 3: That's the only part of the movie I remember.
- 37:23Speaker 5: Christabel's so awesome. I want to tackle her with a
- 37:28Speaker 5: sloth and give her a big hug.
- 37:30Speaker 3: Did you watch the video of her crying? That was
- 37:32Speaker 3: so cute.
- 37:33Speaker 5: That was adorable.
- 37:35Speaker 3: I don't think I have anything else. Do you have
- 37:37Speaker 3: anything else?
- 37:39Speaker 8: No, aside from watching Mr. Bean with a kid. No,
- 37:41Speaker 8: that's pretty much it.
- 37:44Speaker 5: Okay.
- 37:44Speaker 8: That's, yeah. Did I watch anything?
- 37:47Speaker 15: No, I didn't.
- 37:48Speaker 3: There's half your episode right there. A whole bunch of
- 37:50Speaker 3: rambling about sharks and my love for Amber Heard.
- 37:53Speaker 7: I can't argue with at least one of those.
- 37:57Speaker 3: Yeah, sharks are awesome.
- 37:58Speaker 7: Sharks can be awesome. If there's sci-fi channels involved, it's questionable.
- 38:04Speaker 3: Sci-fi channel makes it more fucking awesome. I don't give
- 38:06Speaker 3: a shit what anybody says. Sci-fi originals are awesome.
- 38:12Speaker 7: I don't know about these shark movies unless there's an
- 38:14Speaker 7: opus at the end of them.
- 38:15Speaker 3: The shark movies are better than a lot of the
- 38:18Speaker 3: sci-fi originals that involve storms or tornadoes or combinations of both.
- 38:23Speaker 8: What about i'm just wondering how long until like like
- 38:26Speaker 8: saved by the bell cast are going to start being
- 38:28Speaker 8: in sci-fi.
- 38:29Speaker 7: I can't believe they're not already.
- 38:31Speaker 8: Yeah i mean who's i mean who wouldn't want to
- 38:32Speaker 8: see like.
- 38:33Speaker 3: Zach or sharknado yeah that's the one i was thinking
- 38:37Speaker 3: i was trying to think what is the one where
- 38:38Speaker 3: it's a shark jammed.
- 38:39Speaker 7: Into a tornado oh yeah it's gonna be oh yeah Unfortunately.
- 38:43Speaker 5: I feel like we say it and it's just going
- 38:45Speaker 5: to happen.
- 38:46Speaker 7: It's already in the works.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Ninja sharks.
- 38:48Speaker 3: What about the, what was the other one? It was
- 38:49Speaker 3: like the cheerleader zombies and sharks.
- 38:52Speaker 7: Oh God.
- 38:53Speaker 3: Vampire sharks.
- 38:55Speaker 7: Something like that. It was, it was pretty ridiculous.
- 38:58Speaker 3: I would watch the hell out of it.
- 39:00Speaker 8: It's like somebody just takes a big box of shit
- 39:03Speaker 8: and throws it up in the air and then they're like, no, look, look,
- 39:07Speaker 8: they pull out tags. Zombie shark, uh, festival.
- 39:11Speaker 3: Tournament. Yeah.
- 39:12Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 39:13Speaker 8: It's like those stupid magnetic poems. It's like that.
- 39:17Speaker 3: Somebody just throws it in a refrigerator and that's their script.
- 39:19Speaker 8: Yeah, they throw it in a refrigerator and that's it.
- 39:20Speaker 7: Let's see. We gotta make it.
- 39:22Speaker 5: I wanna do that. I wanna do like a spin
- 39:25Speaker 5: the wheel and whatever word Wheel of fish! It's like
- 39:28Speaker 5: an improv movie. Like, a movie that's just improv.
- 39:31Speaker 3: That's probably half a sci-fi movie.
- 39:33Speaker 5: Probably.
- 39:34Speaker 8: That's what it was. I subjected my kid to UHF.
- 39:39Speaker 7: Ooh.
- 39:40Speaker 8: And she actually loved it.
- 39:42Speaker 7: Okay, that's why I was wondering how it would work
- 39:44Speaker 7: on the next.
- 39:45Speaker 6: Well, she.
- 39:45Speaker 8: Loved it, you know? And I was like, you know,
- 39:47Speaker 8: I was like, I was like, you probably shouldn't tell
- 39:49Speaker 8: your mom this because your mom really hates you, weird Al.
- 39:52Speaker 8: But there was a time when I thought this movie
- 39:54Speaker 8: was awesome and I want you to see. I was
- 39:57Speaker 8: older than you, but.
- 39:58Speaker 5: I still think the movie's awesome.
- 40:00Speaker 8: Yeah, we watched it and she was like, I was like,
- 40:02Speaker 8: did you like it? And she goes, I liked it.
- 40:03Speaker 8: I thought it was pretty cool. Of course, her favorite
- 40:05Speaker 8: was the Stanley Spadowski.
- 40:06Speaker 5: I do love Stanley Spadowski.
- 40:09Speaker 7: My favorite's Specialist City.
- 40:11Speaker 8: Specialist City.
- 40:11Speaker 7: Spatula city but uh.
- 40:13Speaker 3: Yeah your boyfriend made me watch that didn't he yeah
- 40:15Speaker 3: yeah I did.
- 40:16Speaker 8: I needed a spatula yeah I was like we need
- 40:18Speaker 8: to go to spatula city and she was like what
- 40:20Speaker 8: and I was like ooh you gotta watch the commercial
- 40:23Speaker 8: and I.
- 40:24Speaker 3: Just stared at it like what the fuck are you
- 40:26Speaker 3: making me watch.
- 40:26Speaker 5: Yeah that reminds me of painted Arizona like the spatula.
- 40:31Speaker 7: City commercial unpainted Arizona.
- 40:32Speaker 5: Yeah unpainted Arizona sorry oops fuck that.
- 40:35Speaker 7: Up bathroom bedroom boudoir it.
- 40:40Speaker 5: I watched a few things All right.
- 40:43Speaker 3: Go for it.
- 40:43Speaker 5: Okay. Last night I watched Sleepwalk With Me on Netflix.
- 40:47Speaker 5: Sort of.
- 40:48Speaker 7: I've heard a lot about this.
- 40:50Speaker 3: Sort of.
- 40:50Speaker 10: I haven't gotten to it yet.
- 40:51Speaker 5: I mean, I feel like I'm not an accurate... I
- 40:53Speaker 5: probably shouldn't even talk about this movie because I was
- 40:55Speaker 5: half asleep.
- 40:56Speaker 7: I have no idea what it is. Did you start walking?
- 40:58Speaker 7: That's the question.
- 40:59Speaker 3: Yes.
- 40:59Speaker 5: I mean, it's kind of weird that I was kind
- 41:01Speaker 5: of sleeping while watching a movie called Sleepwalk With Me. No,
- 41:03Speaker 5: I didn't start walking. Although I did get up later
- 41:06Speaker 5: and take a shower and leave my house.
- 41:09Speaker 3: While asleep?
- 41:09Speaker 7: While asleep, yeah. No, I woke up to do that.
- 41:12Speaker 10: Oh, never mind.
- 41:13Speaker 7: If it was like shower sleep with me, that would
- 41:16Speaker 7: rent that movie.
- 41:17Speaker 5: That's a whole other movie. In the rated X section.
- 41:22Speaker 7: But that is, you know, how that story goes.
- 41:24Speaker 5: It kind of seemed like a little bit slow, but
- 41:28Speaker 5: I think Mike Birbiglia is a pretty funny guy. Like,
- 41:31Speaker 5: I like hearing his stuff on the radio. But in
- 41:35Speaker 5: the movie, his name was.
- 41:37Speaker 3: Matt, like.
- 41:39Speaker 5: Pediglia or.
- 41:40Speaker 9: Something like that I think everybody's like that because they
- 41:43Speaker 9: have other like comics that are his friends and they
- 41:46Speaker 9: all have like fake names that are kind of just
- 41:48Speaker 9: like the real names.
- 41:49Speaker 5: Too yeah that just like cracked me up but it
- 41:52Speaker 5: seemed like there were some really good like I don't
- 41:55Speaker 5: know poignant moments about relationships and shit and like life.
- 41:59Speaker 3: But I hate movies like that.
- 42:00Speaker 5: But I was like half asleep so.
- 42:02Speaker 7: I didn't catch those I don't need any movie life
- 42:04Speaker 7: that's what they should have come.
- 42:05Speaker 8: Up with some kind of message or something like that
- 42:07Speaker 8: yeah I want sharks not messages.
- 42:09Speaker 5: Yeah, but it seemed like it was pretty good. Plus,
- 42:11Speaker 5: it had that girl from Six Feet Under that everybody loves.
- 42:14Speaker 8: Which girl?
- 42:15Speaker 3: Lauren Ambrose.
- 42:15Speaker 5: Lauren Ambrose.
- 42:16Speaker 7: Oh, yeah.
- 42:18Speaker 8: She can sing opera.
- 42:19Speaker 7: If an indie-type movie, you need to show Lauren Ambrose.
- 42:22Speaker 5: Pretty much.
- 42:23Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 42:24Speaker 5: And I also watched The Devil's Playground, which is a
- 42:27Speaker 5: movie about Amish people.
- 42:29Speaker 3: You do love you some Amish people. I do love
- 42:31Speaker 3: some Amish.
- 42:32Speaker 5: I need to go to my Amish doctor.
- 42:34Speaker 8: Who was that that was telling me about the Amish Mafia?
- 42:36Speaker 5: Oh, that's some stupid show on, like, TLC.
- 42:39Speaker 8: Somebody was trying to tell me that at work, and
- 42:41Speaker 8: I was like, dude, why are you talking to me?
- 42:43Speaker 9: Go away.
- 42:44Speaker 5: Amish people don't even like to be photographed.
- 42:46Speaker 8: Let's steal their souls. Is that what it is?
- 42:49Speaker 5: It's just against the religion.
- 42:49Speaker 8: Dude, I am going to so go around and, like,
- 42:51Speaker 8: take photographs of them.
- 42:52Speaker 5: You're going to.
- 42:53Speaker 3: Have a collection of Amish souls?
- 42:54Speaker 8: I'm going to be like, I stole your soul!
- 42:55Speaker 5: I don't know why, exactly, but they just.
- 42:58Speaker 8: Because it's technology, and it steals their soul.
- 43:00Speaker 5: Well, also, Amish people are super holistic, um.
- 43:06Speaker 3: They're like hippies.
- 43:09Speaker 5: Amish are hippies. They're secretly hippies with wool clothes.
- 43:13Speaker 3: They all have beards.
- 43:14Speaker 5: Well, only the married ones have beards. I'm talking about
- 43:19Speaker 5: hippies too. That's why I go to the Amish doctor.
- 43:22Speaker 5: It's like a hippie... Oh.
- 43:24Speaker 8: They're holistic. They're like herbalists.
- 43:27Speaker 5: There's like an herbalist and it's like their doctor. But
- 43:30Speaker 5: they're herbalists. They don't believe in like Radio waves and
- 43:35Speaker 5: sweet and low.
- 43:36Speaker 3: You can go to Ladyhawk.
- 43:37Speaker 8: Radio waves will kill you.
- 43:39Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 43:40Speaker 5: But, um, yeah, they're basically kind of like, it's like
- 43:42Speaker 5: a hippie commune. It's really, that's kind of what the
- 43:45Speaker 5: Amish are like.
- 43:45Speaker 8: I've got a friend that works with them, uh, doing
- 43:47Speaker 8: some farming and stuff like that, but I.
- 43:49Speaker 5: Don't talk to them. Except they have weird accents.
- 43:51Speaker 8: Don't talk to them much about it.
- 43:53Speaker 5: But this is a, Devil's Playground was like some documentary
- 43:56Speaker 5: made a few years ago about this, like, about, it's
- 43:58Speaker 5: about Amish kids, I won't spring it, but, um, One
- 44:02Speaker 5: of the guys is, like, addicted to meth or something
- 44:04Speaker 5: like that. And it's... She gets crazy.
- 44:06Speaker 7: I don't know. Amish out of control.
- 44:09Speaker 3: Amish gone wild.
- 44:11Speaker 5: I feel like recently someone else I know got mistaken
- 44:14Speaker 5: for somebody that was Amish. And I can't think who
- 44:17Speaker 5: it was.
- 44:19Speaker 8: Or a terrorist.
- 44:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 44:20Speaker 5: I do like that link that... I think it was
- 44:23Speaker 5: Greg or Fred posted on my Facebook page. Amish or hipster.
- 44:25Speaker 5: Did you look at that?
- 44:26Speaker 3: I didn't look at it.
- 44:27Speaker 10: I saw that.
- 44:27Speaker 5: That was awesome.
- 44:28Speaker 8: That was pretty funny.
- 44:29Speaker 5: My friend... When I saw a Mennonite person at a
- 44:33Speaker 5: gas station... I don't know the fucking difference between Amish
- 44:37Speaker 5: and Mennonite people. Usually Mennonite girls wear colored dresses. That's
- 44:41Speaker 5: the only thing I know. But I said something about
- 44:44Speaker 5: seeing an Amish person getting Red Bull and snacks and stuff.
- 44:47Speaker 5: And one of my friends was like.
- 44:49Speaker 3: It was.
- 44:50Speaker 5: Probably a Mennonite. They love junk food. And his thing
- 44:54Speaker 5: that he says constantly, not to a point where it's
- 44:56Speaker 5: so annoying I want to choke him to death, is like...
- 45:00Speaker 5: He would say, Mennonite your face. And I wanted to
- 45:04Speaker 5: say that to him on Facebook. And then be like, oh,
- 45:08Speaker 5: you already Mennonited your own face. And then the moment passed.
- 45:11Speaker 5: But that's been building up inside me for like.
- 45:12Speaker 10: A really long time.
- 45:13Speaker 3: Do you feel better now?
- 45:14Speaker 5: So I had to just let it out.
- 45:15Speaker 3: Like your therapeutic moment?
- 45:16Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 45:17Speaker 7: At what point is it going to make any sense?
- 45:19Speaker 3: Yeah, that was the dumbest thing I've ever heard. I'm
- 45:22Speaker 3: not you saying it, but him saying it.
- 45:24Speaker 5: You can cut that out, but I mean, I just
- 45:26Speaker 5: had to get that out.
- 45:27Speaker 8: No, leave it in.
- 45:28Speaker 7: No, I don't want everybody to think I'm dumb.
- 45:30Speaker 8: I don't want at least a.
- 45:32Speaker 5: Dozen people thinking I'm a retard.
- 45:34Speaker 3: No, I'm not saying that you saying it was dumb.
- 45:36Speaker 3: I'm saying that him saying it's dumb.
- 45:39Speaker 5: Yeah, he just does that all the time. I don't
- 45:40Speaker 5: know why. He's like a grown-ass fan.
- 45:42Speaker 7: He just does dumb things.
- 45:45Speaker 5: He's actually really funny, but I mean.
- 45:47Speaker 3: A lot of grown-ass men say dumbass things all the time.
- 45:50Speaker 7: You got a point there.
- 45:53Speaker 8: Yeah, I work with a bunch of them.
- 45:55Speaker 5: Oh, and then I watched a whole bunch of kid
- 45:57Speaker 5: movies with Lydia, and watching her watch Nightmare Before Christmas
- 46:02Speaker 5: is hilarious.
- 46:03Speaker 3: Awesome.
- 46:05Speaker 5: No one can see this, but you guys can appreciate this.
- 46:07Speaker 5: When we're in the car and there's music playing on
- 46:10Speaker 5: the TV, this is her dancing.
- 46:15Speaker 7: Let me round it out.
- 46:18Speaker 5: And then she also like she's doing every daniel it's
- 46:22Speaker 5: just really funny but uh she knows all the words
- 46:24Speaker 5: to nightmare before christmas and her favorite part is when
- 46:27Speaker 5: jack skellington says take off my head and she tries
- 46:30Speaker 5: to take off her head it's really weird but it's
- 46:32Speaker 5: it's cute yep i watch those two movies probably because
- 46:37Speaker 5: all i ever watch is tv shows i watch a
- 46:39Speaker 5: lot of um I can't help it. It's just on Netflix.
- 46:46Speaker 8: Because it's always on.
- 46:47Speaker 7: It is always on.
- 46:48Speaker 3: You can't escape it.
- 46:50Speaker 5: But it's always on Netflix. That's really what I have.
- 46:53Speaker 7: I just turned the sound down.
- 46:54Speaker 5: It's always studying Philadelphia. That's pretty much what I watch. Also,
- 46:58Speaker 5: Don't Trust the Bee in Apartment 23.
- 47:00Speaker 7: Which is pretty entertaining, actually.
- 47:02Speaker 5: Only because James Van Der Beek is in it as himself.
- 47:03Speaker 7: As himself. That's the funniest thing in the world.
- 47:06Speaker 5: The really retarded dick version of himself.
- 47:09Speaker 9: Like a very shallow Hollywood type. But he's playing this,
- 47:13Speaker 9: so he's consciously making himself a shallow Hollywood type.
- 47:17Speaker 5: I never cared much for him, but, like, now I
- 47:19Speaker 5: kind of like him.
- 47:20Speaker 7: That's the thing. Even on the show, he wasn't.
- 47:22Speaker 5: Someone who can play themselves as that is just awesome.
- 47:24Speaker 7: It's a douche.
- 47:25Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 47:26Speaker 9: I'm telling you, that Thanksgiving episode where he got in
- 47:28Speaker 9: a fight with the homeless man, that was awesome.
- 47:30Speaker 5: I like the People Magazine episode where it's just, like,
- 47:33Speaker 5: everyone knows he's not sexy at all. And then she's, like,
- 47:38Speaker 5: going to make him a... The cover of People Magazine
- 47:41Speaker 5: or whatever.
- 47:41Speaker 7: Sexiest Man Alive.
- 47:42Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 47:43Speaker 5: God, it's funny.
- 47:45Speaker 9: It is always funny when people will play themselves as something.
- 47:50Speaker 9: That was, well, Larry Sanders' show was amazing about that
- 47:54Speaker 9: kind of stuff. But I think the one in particular
- 47:56Speaker 9: I remember that always did that was David Duchovny. He's like,
- 48:00Speaker 9: I'll only come on if I can, because the whole
- 48:02Speaker 9: thing was, it's a talk show and they come on
- 48:03Speaker 9: as themselves, in theory.
- 48:04Speaker 3: Right.
- 48:05Speaker 7: So he's like, only if I can.
- 48:06Speaker 10: Be a dick.
- 48:08Speaker 7: And he sat there and was like a jerk the
- 48:10Speaker 7: whole time. And I'm like, well.
- 48:11Speaker 5: And that's what his whole show is about.
- 48:14Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 48:14Speaker 7: It's just him being a dick. So he might just
- 48:17Speaker 7: really be a dick.
- 48:18Speaker 5: Maybe. Where's the line between you acting and pretending that
- 48:24Speaker 5: you're this person and then just being this person?
- 48:26Speaker 7: If you get really good at performing it, you might
- 48:29Speaker 7: just be that.
- 48:29Speaker 5: You're not an asshole. You're just a really good actor.
- 48:33Speaker 5: That's going to be what I tell her. I'm not
- 48:35Speaker 5: a mean person. I'm just really good at acting.
- 48:39Speaker 3: Hell yeah.
- 48:40Speaker 5: Not me.
- 48:40Speaker 3: I'm just a dick.
- 48:41Speaker 5: I'm an ass. Hmm. But, um, yep, I think that's
- 48:48Speaker 5: about it. I'll probably think of something really hilarious that happened.
- 48:52Speaker 3: I didn't think of anything hilarious, but I remember something
- 48:54Speaker 3: we did that was pretty exciting.
- 48:55Speaker 5: Uh-oh.
- 48:56Speaker 3: I went to Pony Island and I rode the Cyclone.
- 48:59Speaker 1: I'm still mad.
- 49:00Speaker 8: Didn't we talk about this at the, uh, Halloween episode?
- 49:04Speaker 3: We hadn't gone yet.
- 49:05Speaker 7: Yeah, you said you were going to go.
- 49:07Speaker 6: Oh, we did?
- 49:08Speaker 3: Yeah, we hadn't gone yet.
- 49:09Speaker 7: You were talking about your plans for Halloween.
- 49:11Speaker 8: I thought we did.
- 49:12Speaker 3: Oh, what? We hadn't gone yet. We were planning on going.
- 49:17Speaker 8: Where did we go when we got back?
- 49:19Speaker 3: Anyways, the week before, we got home three days before
- 49:26Speaker 3: the big-ass storm hit the entire fucking East Coast.
- 49:29Speaker 8: Yeah, whatever the name of that place was.
- 49:31Speaker 3: Was it Sandy?
- 49:32Speaker 8: Sandy, Hurricane Sandy, yeah.
- 49:34Speaker 7: So if you dealt with that.
- 49:37Speaker 6: Sorry.
- 49:38Speaker 3: Dude, that sucks.
- 49:40Speaker 7: I'm sorry.
- 49:40Speaker 8: I know.
- 49:40Speaker 3: I mean, I hope we didn't bring it on you
- 49:42Speaker 3: because it would suck.
- 49:43Speaker 7: No, we didn't.
- 49:44Speaker 3: But we were, like, almost every place we went got hit,
- 49:46Speaker 3: and that's horrible.
- 49:47Speaker 7: You were, like, running from it. You didn't know it,
- 49:49Speaker 7: but you were, like.
- 49:50Speaker 2: A couple of days.
- 49:50Speaker 7: We were heading towards it.
- 49:51Speaker 3: Because we were, like, we went from New York onto Maryland,
- 49:54Speaker 3: so we were going this way, you know. Then we
- 49:56Speaker 3: went this way. So it's, like, it was coming up
- 49:58Speaker 3: this way. We were going this way. Then we went
- 50:00Speaker 3: this way.
- 50:00Speaker 10: Yeah, we went.
- 50:01Speaker 7: That works so well on the radio.
- 50:02Speaker 8: We went through New York all the way. Well, basically
- 50:05Speaker 8: we drove, I forgot how many miles, what was it, 2,000
- 50:08Speaker 8: miles we drove?
- 50:08Speaker 10: I don't know. It was a hell of a long drive.
- 50:09Speaker 8: We drove out of the way pretty much because I
- 50:11Speaker 8: took a wrong turn and kept going, yeah, fuck the GPS.
- 50:16Speaker 8: You don't know shit.
- 50:18Speaker 3: Anyways.
- 50:19Speaker 8: Anyways, I went up to Ohio and then across Pennsylvania
- 50:24Speaker 8: and we barely caught a glimpse of a punk Punxsutawney? Punxsutawneyville? Punxsutawney. Yeah,
- 50:32Speaker 8: whatever the fuck that place is. Punxsutawney? Punxsutawney? I can't
- 50:36Speaker 8: say it anymore because apparently my mouth doesn't work.
- 50:39Speaker 3: We saw it from the highway. It was the most
- 50:41Speaker 3: beautiful little town.
- 50:42Speaker 8: Yeah, Missy was like, oh, look, there it is. And
- 50:44Speaker 8: I'm like, oh, shit, we could have got off there.
- 50:46Speaker 2: Damn it.
- 50:48Speaker 8: And then by the time I thought about it, it
- 50:49Speaker 8: was too late.
- 50:50Speaker 7: Did you see Bill Murray standing there?
- 50:52Speaker 5: No.
- 50:52Speaker 7: Because he's stuck there for all eternity.
- 50:53Speaker 1: That would be awesome.
- 50:54Speaker 5: I would like to hang out with Bill Murray one day.
- 50:55Speaker 5: You need to make that happen.
- 50:56Speaker 8: We drove all the way through there, and then up
- 50:58Speaker 8: through New Jersey, and then into New York, and then
- 51:00Speaker 8: stayed in New York.
- 51:00Speaker 3: Did we hit New Jersey or New York first?
- 51:02Speaker 8: No, we went through the top part of New Jersey.
- 51:04Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 51:05Speaker 5: Did you go to New Jersey shore?
- 51:06Speaker 8: No, we did that. We went through New York to
- 51:08Speaker 8: stay in New York City. Did you see Sharks?
- 51:10Speaker 4: Damn it.
- 51:11Speaker 3: And, uh.
- 51:13Speaker 8: Let's see, uh.
- 51:14Speaker 3: Went to Coney Island.
- 51:15Speaker 8: Went to Coney Island.
- 51:16Speaker 3: Or the subway. It was not as frightening as I'd anticipated.
- 51:19Speaker 12: No.
- 51:19Speaker 8: I've got to say, that was one thing that kind
- 51:21Speaker 8: of disappointed me about New York, because I was waiting
- 51:23Speaker 8: to kill somebody or either kick somebody's ass. And everywhere
- 51:27Speaker 8: we went, nothing ever happened. So here I am riding
- 51:30Speaker 8: the subway waiting for 70s era, you know, gang. I'm like...
- 51:35Speaker 8: Like Death Wish.
- 51:35Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like, you know, is.
- 51:37Speaker 7: This guy looking at me bad?
- 51:37Speaker 8: Because I'm going to kill him, you know? And then
- 51:39Speaker 8: I'm like, oh wait, this guy's just homeless.
- 51:41Speaker 10: Oh, okay, well.
- 51:42Speaker 8: I was kind of, in a way, relieved and in
- 51:44Speaker 8: a way a little disappointed because I didn't get to
- 51:46Speaker 8: fight anybody.
- 51:46Speaker 3: We didn't even see that much home with people.
- 51:47Speaker 5: You were like waiting for the Weisslers to show up.
- 51:49Speaker 3: I was waiting for something, you know?
- 51:51Speaker 11: The Wayans brothers.
- 51:51Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 51:52Speaker 3: What the hell?
- 51:54Speaker 8: But yeah, no, we had a very enjoyable trip and then.
- 51:58Speaker 7: So it was not at all like the Warriors.
- 52:00Speaker 3: Not at all like the Warriors.
- 52:01Speaker 7: Damn it.
- 52:03Speaker 3: Went to Coney Island, rode the Cyclone. That was my
- 52:05Speaker 3: big thing. That was like the entire purpose of New York.
- 52:07Speaker 3: So I could go to Coney Island and ride the
- 52:09Speaker 3: fucking Cyclone. I rode the hell out of the Cyclone.
- 52:12Speaker 3: And it was fucking phenomenal.
- 52:13Speaker 5: Did you guys go eat anywhere in New York? There's
- 52:15Speaker 5: like lots of cool places to eat.
- 52:17Speaker 8: Well, aside from eating at that one restaurant the first
- 52:20Speaker 8: night that we were there that Fozzie took us to
- 52:23Speaker 8: that I can't remember the name of. We ate at the.
- 52:29Speaker 8: Geez, now I can't even remember the little restaurant that's
- 52:31Speaker 8: underneath the apartment building or the, the area where they live.
- 52:35Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 52:36Speaker 6: Uh, there was.
- 52:36Speaker 8: Something in, I don't know.
- 52:38Speaker 3: That's pretty good though.
- 52:39Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 52:39Speaker 8: Either way, it's, it's really good. Uh, and a sandwich
- 52:43Speaker 8: shop here, there.
- 52:43Speaker 3: It made me sick.
- 52:45Speaker 8: We really didn't go anywhere. Uh, there were a couple
- 52:48Speaker 8: of places where we should have went, but we didn't go.
- 52:49Speaker 3: We weren't in New York very long. We got there.
- 52:51Speaker 8: Two days.
- 52:52Speaker 3: Friday night, left Sunday morning. So we weren't.
- 52:54Speaker 8: So yeah, we were there really only about a day
- 52:56Speaker 8: and a half. Um, So it was kind of a
- 53:00Speaker 8: very whirlwind tour of.
- 53:01Speaker 3: That's all the naked cowboy. He was not at all naked.
- 53:03Speaker 8: Gotta see this, gotta see this, gotta see this.
- 53:06Speaker 7: He's been doing that for a while. He's gotta be
- 53:07Speaker 7: like old naked cowboy.
- 53:08Speaker 5: He's like a millionaire.
- 53:09Speaker 3: They have a naked Indian now.
- 53:10Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 53:11Speaker 5: No, he's like a millionaire, the naked cowboy. I saw
- 53:13Speaker 5: it once on Ripley's, believe it or not.
- 53:15Speaker 7: Why exactly?
- 53:16Speaker 5: Because he's been doing that for so long and he
- 53:18Speaker 5: gets so much money.
- 53:19Speaker 8: People pay him money, you know?
- 53:20Speaker 5: I mean, he's like a landmark of New York.
- 53:22Speaker 8: Yeah, pretty much.
- 53:24Speaker 7: Okay.
- 53:25Speaker 8: I'll definitely tell you, Times Square was.
- 53:27Speaker 3: Crazy.
- 53:28Speaker 8: Crazy, yeah.
- 53:29Speaker 5: Did you see lots of gold people and silver people?
- 53:31Speaker 3: We saw a Statue of Liberty person. We did see
- 53:33Speaker 3: a couple gold people.
- 53:33Speaker 8: Yeah, a couple guys, gold, a couple silver guys.
- 53:35Speaker 3: Everybody in costumes.
- 53:36Speaker 8: Everybody in costumes.
- 53:38Speaker 3: Shit ton of people, and they were mostly Mexicans. Not
- 53:40Speaker 3: that I'm being racist, but whenever somebody threw their hat off.
- 53:42Speaker 7: Just making an observation.
- 53:44Speaker 3: They would stand around in these costumes.
- 53:46Speaker 8: SpongeBob.
- 53:47Speaker 3: Picture? You want that picture?
- 53:48Speaker 6: Spider-Man.
- 53:49Speaker 3: That was more of an Asian voice.
- 53:51Speaker 7: It sounded like his mom.
- 53:53Speaker 8: She gets stuff next up.
- 53:55Speaker 3: No, I just have like one accent. It's all the same.
- 53:57Speaker 8: Not like your mom.
- 53:58Speaker 7: It sounds like her version of your mom.
- 54:00Speaker 11: Oh, yeah.
- 54:00Speaker 8: Doesn't your Polish lady sound a little bit Mexican?
- 54:03Speaker 3: You share. You share.
- 54:04Speaker 7: Yeah, it's also you share.
- 54:05Speaker 5: I'm a Polish lady.
- 54:06Speaker 11: You share.
- 54:07Speaker 3: No, we have a Polish lady at work and she's ridiculous.
- 54:10Speaker 5: Does she make you sausage?
- 54:12Speaker 7: No, I'm from Australia.
- 54:14Speaker 3: No, because our other girl was like, she was talking
- 54:16Speaker 3: to the Polish lady. She's like, we need to fix
- 54:18Speaker 3: you up. And the Polish lady was like, no. I
- 54:20Speaker 3: don't need a man. I pleasure myself. I have toys.
- 54:23Speaker 13: That's awesome.
- 54:24Speaker 5: I want this lady to be my friend.
- 54:28Speaker 3: Her name's Marlena. Oh.
- 54:30Speaker 8: Yes.
- 54:31Speaker 7: Your future is mapped out. We're going to.
- 54:33Speaker 5: Be Marlena brothers. Great sisters.
- 54:36Speaker 8: Whatever.
- 54:37Speaker 3: If you were a mother, you didn't have to be boys.
- 54:41Speaker 7: That's gross.
- 54:41Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. But anyways, we left New York and drove
- 54:44Speaker 3: down the Jersey. We went to, like, Asbury Park.
- 54:47Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 54:47Speaker 3: It was fucking amazing.
- 54:48Speaker 11: Red Hook.
- 54:49Speaker 1: Huh?
- 54:50Speaker 8: Red Bank.
- 54:51Speaker 10: Red Bank, yeah, sorry.
- 54:52Speaker 3: Went to Red Bank and all that shit. It was fantastic.
- 54:55Speaker 7: Yeah, you suck, because I didn't get to go.
- 54:57Speaker 3: It was awesome. I didn't see anybody fucking from the
- 54:58Speaker 3: movies or anything. Steve Dave wasn't there.
- 55:02Speaker 7: It's because they all live... Well, no, they do still
- 55:04Speaker 7: live in Jersey.
- 55:04Speaker 5: Did you see Jerry Seinfeld?
- 55:05Speaker 3: No. I didn't see anybody famous.
- 55:07Speaker 7: Kevin's in L.A. The rest of them are still hanging
- 55:08Speaker 7: out at the comic show.
- 55:09Speaker 3: Didn't see any Olsens the entire time we were in
- 55:11Speaker 3: New York.
- 55:12Speaker 8: I wasn't looking.
- 55:14Speaker 3: I was.
- 55:14Speaker 5: Did you see Murray Bobich?
- 55:15Speaker 7: I didn't see anybody.
- 55:16Speaker 3: No, I did not see Murray Bobich.
- 55:18Speaker 5: That's an episode I haven't seen.
- 55:20Speaker 7: I know.
- 55:20Speaker 3: I got that one. I hate that show. But yeah, anyways,
- 55:23Speaker 3: we went to, where else did we go?
- 55:26Speaker 8: Went to Maryland. No, we went down, we tried to
- 55:30Speaker 8: hit as many boardwalks as we could.
- 55:32Speaker 3: Seaside Heights.
- 55:33Speaker 8: We only had so much time.
- 55:34Speaker 3: We went to Seaside Heights, which is where Jersey Shore
- 55:36Speaker 3: was actually filmed.
- 55:36Speaker 8: Yeah, we went to there. But we hit a couple
- 55:38Speaker 8: other places, too. A couple other boardwalks. that I can't remember.
- 55:43Speaker 3: Went to Maryland. That was pretty fun. Went to Baltimore.
- 55:46Speaker 8: Went to Baltimore.
- 55:47Speaker 3: A lot of homeless people.
- 55:48Speaker 8: A lot of homeless people. I'm pretty sure that they
- 55:50Speaker 8: ship all the homeless people from New York to Baltimore.
- 55:52Speaker 3: Probably.
- 55:52Speaker 8: Because I didn't see hardly any homeless people in New York,
- 55:55Speaker 8: but I saw a shit ton of them in Baltimore.
- 55:57Speaker 11: And.
- 55:57Speaker 7: I blame Randy.
- 56:00Speaker 3: Randy's awesome.
- 56:00Speaker 8: I don't think Randy has anything to do with it.
- 56:02Speaker 3: But Randy's awesome.
- 56:02Speaker 8: Randy is awesome. Randy and Lisa. We had a very
- 56:04Speaker 8: good time. Actually, we did not.
- 56:06Speaker 3: Say that because I don't want random people to show
- 56:08Speaker 3: up and say, hey, can we stay here?
- 56:09Speaker 2: No.
- 56:10Speaker 7: He'll probably let them.
- 56:12Speaker 1: No.
- 56:12Speaker 7: He's pretty damn nice.
- 56:13Speaker 8: But, yeah.
- 56:14Speaker 7: For a mean dude.
- 56:15Speaker 5: Are their dogs nice? Their dogs look so cute.
- 56:19Speaker 8: They're awesome.
- 56:19Speaker 3: All their dogs are fantastic. Fozzie and George have the
- 56:21Speaker 3: most cutest dogs, too.
- 56:22Speaker 5: Yeah, their dogs are cute, too.
- 56:24Speaker 7: Is this some sort of cute dog contest?
- 56:26Speaker 3: No. No, because Randy would say his dogs would win,
- 56:29Speaker 3: and then Fozzie would say his would win.
- 56:31Speaker 8: And then it would just turn into a big bloody
- 56:33Speaker 8: dog battle royale. And we don't need that.
- 56:36Speaker 10: Pay-per-view.
- 56:37Speaker 8: So.
- 56:39Speaker 3: Randy's dogs were awesome.
- 56:40Speaker 6: Yes.
- 56:40Speaker 7: Okay.
- 56:41Speaker 3: So. Fabulous time was had.
- 56:44Speaker 13: Mm-hmm.
- 56:44Speaker 8: Excellent time was had.
- 56:45Speaker 3: Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum was on to us. Yes.
- 56:48Speaker 8: And the drive back home took for fucking ever.
- 56:52Speaker 6: It did.
- 56:52Speaker 7: Doesn't it always?
- 56:53Speaker 8: It took forever.
- 56:55Speaker 7: Any trip anywhere.
- 56:56Speaker 8: I think usually the drive home is... I think I
- 56:58Speaker 8: drove all the way until we got just outside of Kentucky.
- 57:02Speaker 8: And then I let you take the controls because I.
- 57:03Speaker 4: Was about to go nuts.
- 57:03Speaker 3: I drove us to Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum.
- 57:05Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 57:06Speaker 8: Yeah, that's right.
- 57:08Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 57:09Speaker 7: And they kept you.
- 57:10Speaker 8: It took a long time to get out of Baltimore.
- 57:12Speaker 8: I mean, to get out of Maryland.
- 57:13Speaker 3: Maryland's a long fucking state.
- 57:15Speaker 8: I didn't think Maryland was that big, but for some reason,
- 57:17Speaker 8: I don't know if we just drove around the outside
- 57:20Speaker 8: part of Maryland and did a complete loop and then
- 57:22Speaker 8: came back out. But I was like, you've got to
- 57:26Speaker 8: be fucking kidding me. Are we out of Maryland yet? No,
- 57:29Speaker 8: it was finally in Virginia. I was like, oh, thank
- 57:31Speaker 8: God we're in Virginia.
- 57:32Speaker 3: West Virginia.
- 57:33Speaker 8: West Virginia, whatever. One of those Virginias.
- 57:35Speaker 7: We're coasting the circumference of this.
- 57:37Speaker 3: Exactly. But if anybody out there gets a chance to
- 57:39Speaker 3: stop by the West, it's in West, it's in West
- 57:41Speaker 3: and West Virginia. It's the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum and it
- 57:44Speaker 3: is fantastic.
- 57:44Speaker 7: It's huge.
- 57:45Speaker 5: Is it like a closed down asylum?
- 57:47Speaker 3: No, no.
- 57:47Speaker 7: It's open to the public.
- 57:49Speaker 3: It's closed as in there's no people in there but
- 57:51Speaker 3: they run tours and like that kind of stuff.
- 57:52Speaker 8: It's just a beautiful little town. It's like a little,
- 57:56Speaker 8: it's a little tiny town that looks like it's straight
- 57:58Speaker 8: out of a Thomas Kinkade painting without all the booze
- 58:00Speaker 8: and the crack but You know, it's got a little
- 58:04Speaker 8: river that runs.
- 58:05Speaker 5: The booze and cracking Thomas Kinkade thing?
- 58:06Speaker 3: No, he was a booze addict. He was a drug addict.
- 58:09Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 58:09Speaker 7: It was personal.
- 58:10Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah.
- 58:11Speaker 8: Don't tell my grandma that because she loves Thomas Kinkade.
- 58:14Speaker 3: Nature of light.
- 58:15Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 58:15Speaker 3: Beautiful little town. I was like, I wanted to see it.
- 58:18Speaker 3: It was on like the... Roadside America website. I'm like,
- 58:22Speaker 3: I wonder if it's anything like Waverly, because you can't
- 58:24Speaker 3: see that shit from the fucking road.
- 58:25Speaker 5: You can't.
- 58:25Speaker 3: It's like, I wonder if we can at least see it.
- 58:27Speaker 3: It's like five minutes off the highway, and it's like
- 58:29Speaker 3: right there.
- 58:31Speaker 8: It's almost like right in the middle of town.
- 58:33Speaker 3: It's like right behind the town. You have the little town,
- 58:35Speaker 3: and it's like right there.
- 58:37Speaker 8: Yeah, but I think that's what pretty much put that
- 58:39Speaker 8: town on the map was the insane asylum.
- 58:45Speaker 3: Because they had tuberculosis. Which dwarfs the.
- 58:47Speaker 8: Tiny little town. Yeah, they've even got a tuberculosis ward
- 58:50Speaker 8: on there, too. It's a really big place, really beautiful.
- 58:53Speaker 8: And they've been in the process of trying.
- 58:54Speaker 6: To renovate it.
- 58:55Speaker 3: And we were there before Halloween, so they had, like,
- 58:57Speaker 3: dead bodies hanging out windows.
- 58:59Speaker 8: Yeah. And the cool thing was, we got up there
- 59:01Speaker 8: before they opened. There was a girl that was working outside.
- 59:05Speaker 8: And I asked her if it was okay to take pictures.
- 59:07Speaker 8: And she was really cool. And she was like, yeah.
- 59:09Speaker 8: She was like, do you want to see the inside?
- 59:10Speaker 8: And we were like, yeah, duh.
- 59:12Speaker 15: Didn't do it ever.
- 59:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 59:13Speaker 8: So she let us kind of go in the opening,
- 59:16Speaker 8: like the entryway and inside a little bit and kind
- 59:19Speaker 8: of told us a little bit about it.
- 59:20Speaker 3: I got to go pee in there.
- 59:21Speaker 8: Misty got to go to the creepy bathroom.
- 59:23Speaker 7: And in the bathroom. She didn't go to the bathroom.
- 59:24Speaker 3: She just went pee in there.
- 59:26Speaker 6: In the garbage can.
- 59:26Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 59:26Speaker 10: Ma'am, get out of this hallway.
- 59:28Speaker 8: I just climbed in the floor.
- 59:28Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, they have the little offices set up that
- 59:31Speaker 3: look like they were.
- 59:32Speaker 8: Yeah, the staircase. We got to look at the staircase
- 59:33Speaker 8: and stuff like that. She was like, well, if you
- 59:36Speaker 8: guys hang out for another couple hours, we're opening tours.
- 59:38Speaker 8: And we were like, eh, we got to get back
- 59:39Speaker 8: on the road and get home.
- 59:42Speaker 3: But it was fantastic. So if anybody gets a chance. Yeah.
- 59:45Speaker 3: Awesome place. Look it up.
- 59:46Speaker 8: Very excellent.
- 59:48Speaker 3: All right. We're done again, I think. Sorry about that.
- 59:51Speaker 8: How did we get back to that?
- 59:52Speaker 3: I wanted to talk about riding the cyclone at Coney Island.
- 59:54Speaker 8: How did we get on that?
- 59:56Speaker 3: I wanted to talk about it. Oh. Because it was awesome.
- 59:59Speaker 8: Why would Brian ask about it?
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: It was awesome. Brian had asked his different answer.
- 1:00:03Speaker 8: Okay, well, you know what? I've got to say, people
- 1:00:05Speaker 8: back then must have been tiny because we barely fit
- 1:00:10Speaker 8: in the damn seats in the Cyclone. They had to
- 1:00:13Speaker 8: fucking wedge our asses in there. And then the guy
- 1:00:15Speaker 8: stepped on the bar. And I had to pee really bad.
- 1:00:19Speaker 8: And that's bad when you've got to pee. And they
- 1:00:21Speaker 8: step on the bar and it goes right down on
- 1:00:22Speaker 8: your bladder. And then you're getting ready to go on
- 1:00:23Speaker 8: a roller coaster.
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: Why didn't you pee before that?
- 1:00:27Speaker 8: Because the bathrooms were disgusting. You went in the bathroom
- 1:00:30Speaker 8: at the subway.
- 1:00:31Speaker 7: Just go to the insane asylum like Missy did.
- 1:00:33Speaker 8: No, this was days away from the insane asylum. Come on.
- 1:00:38Speaker 7: In my mind, this is all the same story.
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: We're on a big beach. You can just go out there.
- 1:00:41Speaker 5: You can just go pee in the ocean.
- 1:00:44Speaker 8: Yeah, there were no bushes out there.
- 1:00:47Speaker 5: Just do like what Jessica's ex-boyfriend Danny used to do
- 1:00:50Speaker 5: when we'd go to the lake.
- 1:00:51Speaker 8: Pee in the water?
- 1:00:52Speaker 3: Yep.
- 1:00:54Speaker 7: Is it getting warm in here?
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: Yeah, then right after we leave, the entire coast gets hit,
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: and I'm like, holy shit.
- 1:01:01Speaker 5: Good thing you saw it when you did.
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:01:03Speaker 8: Well, that was kind of my joke to her when
- 1:01:05Speaker 8: we were going up there. It was just about, whether
- 1:01:07Speaker 8: or not we were going to get to go to
- 1:01:09Speaker 8: Coney Island because Coney Island, the season, it was going
- 1:01:12Speaker 8: to be shut down.
- 1:01:13Speaker 5: They're shutting it down?
- 1:01:14Speaker 8: Well, no, no, it shuts down for the season.
- 1:01:16Speaker 7: Oh, okay, for the season.
- 1:01:17Speaker 8: And I was like, she was like, oh, no, we're
- 1:01:19Speaker 8: never going to get to go. And you should have
- 1:01:22Speaker 8: booked it earlier. And then I got online and I
- 1:01:24Speaker 8: looked and they were having the Halloween special. So they
- 1:01:26Speaker 8: were running it and we were like, you know, I
- 1:01:28Speaker 8: don't know. We're like, oh, we better go. Let's go
- 1:01:31Speaker 8: before the thing falls apart or something happens where we
- 1:01:34Speaker 8: won't ever see it again. So we went ahead and went.
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: I think, I'm pretty sure the cyclone survived the storm.
- 1:01:40Speaker 7: It was all pretty rough, though.
- 1:01:41Speaker 9: Didn't you post that split screen you had of, like,
- 1:01:44Speaker 9: the picture you took and then stuff from the news?
- 1:01:46Speaker 8: Yeah, that was from Ocean City, actually. And that was
- 1:01:50Speaker 8: right outside of, I think, the skate shop. Yeah, that
- 1:01:55Speaker 8: was right outside the skate shop that I took a
- 1:01:57Speaker 8: picture of. I took one picture of it, where it
- 1:01:59Speaker 8: was really nice, and I'd found another picture that might
- 1:02:04Speaker 8: have been on NBC's news site, standing in the exact
- 1:02:07Speaker 8: same spot.
- 1:02:08Speaker 7: Where I was standing. That's why I was like, how
- 1:02:10Speaker 7: the hell did you not take both of these? It's
- 1:02:12Speaker 7: so weird.
- 1:02:13Speaker 8: It was just totally strange, but it was great. It
- 1:02:16Speaker 8: was kind of cool.
- 1:02:17Speaker 5: It was just.
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: Frightening because everywhere that they kept showing the.
- 1:02:20Speaker 8: Pictures, we were there.
- 1:02:23Speaker 7: We're here at Randy's house.
- 1:02:25Speaker 8: It didn't get Randy. Thankfully, it did not get Randy.
- 1:02:28Speaker 5: I didn't realize until that, sorry about how many friends
- 1:02:30Speaker 5: I have that live on the East Coast, and I'm like, no,
- 1:02:33Speaker 5: everybody will be okay, and then they were.
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: I think everybody that we knew ended up being okay, too.
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: I don't think they sustained any damage.
- 1:02:41Speaker 5: Jessica's family's house was destroyed. Like, all of her family
- 1:02:45Speaker 5: in New York, they got hit pretty bad. Her cousin
- 1:02:48Speaker 5: that just had a baby, they, like, lost everything.
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: Yikes, that's horrible.
- 1:02:52Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: Anyways, sharks.
- 1:02:55Speaker 8: Shut up.
- 1:02:57Speaker 11: Movie!
- 1:02:59Speaker 7: Movies that I've watched don't have sharks in them.
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: Aw, you suck. Well. This is going to be boring.
- 1:03:05Speaker 7: No, people get stabbed in this one.
- 1:03:07Speaker 8: By sharks.
- 1:03:09Speaker 7: It's really hard for them to hold a knife.
- 1:03:11Speaker 5: Oh, next sci-fi original.
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: No, they just like back into people.
- 1:03:13Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: Really fast.
- 1:03:15Speaker 8: They get stabbed by sharks like. Sharks. By sharks.
- 1:03:19Speaker 7: Impaled with fins.
- 1:03:21Speaker 10: I get it.
- 1:03:21Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:03:23Speaker 8: Shark shaped implements. Destruction.
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: They have shark knives. I've seen them.
- 1:03:28Speaker 4: That's wild.
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: Pretty fantastic. Shark knife.
- 1:03:30Speaker 9: Hammerhead sharks just smack you upside the head with their hands. Anyway,
- 1:03:34Speaker 9: so this would be a relatively new, in which I
- 1:03:38Speaker 9: hardly ever see new movies.
- 1:03:39Speaker 7: I saw Hitchcock.
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: Meh.
- 1:03:41Speaker 7: Yeah. Again, my main issue with it was the same
- 1:03:45Speaker 7: one I had when I watched the trailer, which I'm like,
- 1:03:49Speaker 7: that just looks like Anthony Hawkins.
- 1:03:51Speaker 8: They'll take Anthony Hopkins and they'll try to place him
- 1:03:54Speaker 8: in any old man role.
- 1:03:56Speaker 10: They will.
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:03:57Speaker 7: And sometimes he does better than others. And it's not
- 1:04:01Speaker 7: the performance. I still think he does a great job.
- 1:04:03Speaker 5: He does.
- 1:04:04Speaker 7: As far as acting.
- 1:04:06Speaker 8: No, but I've seen other movies with Anthony Hopkins in it.
- 1:04:08Speaker 8: And you see it and you're like, this is great.
- 1:04:11Speaker 8: It's Anthony Hopkins.
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:04:13Speaker 9: Well, I mean, he's gotten very hammy in the last
- 1:04:16Speaker 9: decade or so. I've called him out for several of
- 1:04:18Speaker 9: his performances in recent years. This one, to me, isn't
- 1:04:22Speaker 9: that over-the-top. It's actually kind of, especially for somebody as, like,
- 1:04:27Speaker 9: identifiable and literally was turned into a caricature over the years, that, like,
- 1:04:31Speaker 9: he doesn't totally take it over the top. He doesn't
- 1:04:34Speaker 9: get really cheesy with it. It's like he does a
- 1:04:36Speaker 9: pretty real human, like, actually a little more dialed back
- 1:04:40Speaker 9: than I, you know, what stories I hear about Hitchcock
- 1:04:43Speaker 9: over the years. It's like he plays it pretty normal.
- 1:04:47Speaker 9: He's not quite as crazy as And weird with his actors.
- 1:04:51Speaker 9: I mean, he's got his weird little issues, but he
- 1:04:53Speaker 9: actually makes him a little more human than I expected.
- 1:04:56Speaker 7: But, I don't know. It's just the makeup.
- 1:05:01Speaker 10: I don't know.
- 1:05:01Speaker 7: I can't get past the fact that it just looks
- 1:05:03Speaker 7: like Anthony Hopkins with a weird neck piece on. It
- 1:05:07Speaker 7: looks just.
- 1:05:07Speaker 9: They didn't really do that much to the rest of him. Granted,
- 1:05:11Speaker 9: he doesn't have to wear as much padding as many
- 1:05:14Speaker 9: years ago. He's getting a little more rotund these days,
- 1:05:17Speaker 9: but I don't know.
- 1:05:19Speaker 7: It just, it all seems like Anthony Hopkins.
- 1:05:21Speaker 8: Well, that's what, I haven't seen this movie, but like,
- 1:05:24Speaker 8: you know, Misty was saying, well, how do you know
- 1:05:25Speaker 8: that you've seen this movie? I saw one of my
- 1:05:28Speaker 8: favorite movies is The World's Fastest Indian.
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:05:31Speaker 8: That's got Anthony Hopkins in it playing Burt Monroe. I
- 1:05:34Speaker 8: feel like I'm watching Anthony Hopkins playing Burt Monroe.
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: Yep.
- 1:05:37Speaker 9: So, it's, He, I mean, you know, he's done huge,
- 1:05:42Speaker 9: you know, stuff like Nixon, which is, again, very identifiable.
- 1:05:45Speaker 9: To me, that one, he sort of, maybe the makeup
- 1:05:47Speaker 9: was just done a little bit.
- 1:05:49Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 1:05:50Speaker 9: He still kind of seemed like Anthony Hopkins. Yeah, it's just, it's...
- 1:05:53Speaker 9: But even that was a decent performance. He doesn't do
- 1:05:56Speaker 9: a weird over-the-top... It's funny that he almost does a
- 1:05:59Speaker 9: better performance when they put him behind all this weird prosthetics,
- 1:06:02Speaker 9: and I don't know, because when he's himself lately, he
- 1:06:06Speaker 9: does really cheesy, hammy kind of stuff, and.
- 1:06:09Speaker 8: I mean, he wasn't hammy in the World's Fastest Indian.
- 1:06:12Speaker 8: He was very serious.
- 1:06:13Speaker 7: He can turn in some amazing performances, and this one's
- 1:06:17Speaker 7: pretty well done. But I just, yeah.
- 1:06:20Speaker 9: The other thing I think that kind of suffers, and
- 1:06:22Speaker 9: maybe it's just me, like maybe I'm a big geek
- 1:06:26Speaker 9: and I knew a lot of the stuff, but I
- 1:06:27Speaker 9: felt like all the stuff about, because it centers specifically
- 1:06:31Speaker 9: on Psycho. It picks up at the premiere of the
- 1:06:34Speaker 9: movie right before that, and like, ends with them going
- 1:06:37Speaker 9: to the opening night of Psycho.
- 1:06:38Speaker 7: So it's just about them making Psycho. And I feel
- 1:06:41Speaker 7: like a lot of the stories that they're telling I'd
- 1:06:43Speaker 7: heard before, like maybe just in documentaries about him or
- 1:06:47Speaker 7: weird behind-the-scenes stuff on the Psycho disc. I don't know.
- 1:06:50Speaker 9: But it felt like I knew a lot of the
- 1:06:52Speaker 9: stuff they were telling, which maybe for regular people it
- 1:06:54Speaker 9: wouldn't be that.
- 1:06:55Speaker 7: I don't know. It may not have that issue.
- 1:06:58Speaker 8: Do they super embellish on a lot of stuff?
- 1:07:01Speaker 7: They go into a lot.
- 1:07:03Speaker 12: In a way, it's almost.
- 1:07:05Speaker 9: the part I found more interesting, they go into the
- 1:07:08Speaker 9: relationship with him and his wife and Helen Mirren does
- 1:07:11Speaker 9: an amazing job as playing his wife and, and how
- 1:07:15Speaker 9: instrumental she was in his process and in his, like
- 1:07:19Speaker 9: the whole overall, you know, finding the movies and making
- 1:07:23Speaker 9: it work.
- 1:07:24Speaker 7: And even to the point of editing it together by
- 1:07:26Speaker 7: the end of it, it's like, she was really instrumental
- 1:07:29Speaker 7: throughout his career and, and didn't get any of that
- 1:07:32Speaker 7: credit for it. So it's, It focuses on a little
- 1:07:35Speaker 7: of that, but it also focuses on their relationship and
- 1:07:37Speaker 7: the fact that they're, I mean, it is weird when
- 1:07:40Speaker 7: they go to their bedroom and they have separate beds.
- 1:07:43Speaker 7: And I'm like, well, this wasn't on TV. Like, they
- 1:07:45Speaker 7: had to do that on, you know, TV shows back then,
- 1:07:47Speaker 7: but I think a lot of couples had that going, too,
- 1:07:50Speaker 7: and they had that.
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: I want to do that, too. I want to do
- 1:07:53Speaker 3: that at some point. But not just, like, separate beds.
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: I want them in a different room.
- 1:07:58Speaker 7: I kind of know people that do that, too, actually.
- 1:08:00Speaker 3: Dude, you haven't heard him snore. It's like a drowning
- 1:08:06Speaker 3: duck for some time.
- 1:08:08Speaker 7: Maybe this was for her own safety. Maybe she's afraid
- 1:08:10Speaker 7: he'd roll over and squish her. I don't know.
- 1:08:12Speaker 3: I gotta worry about getting elbowed.
- 1:08:15Speaker 7: There you go.
- 1:08:18Speaker 8: Don't be grabbing me.
- 1:08:20Speaker 3: I grabbed his nose the other night.
- 1:08:22Speaker 8: He was snoring.
- 1:08:23Speaker 3: He sticks his nose strips to my arm.
- 1:08:27Speaker 8: I can't keep the damn things on.
- 1:08:32Speaker 7: Unless you want them off.
- 1:08:35Speaker 8: I peel them off my sleeve.
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: I'm afraid when I wake up it's going to be
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: tangled in my hair.
- 1:08:40Speaker 5: Eventually.
- 1:08:42Speaker 7: That's a matter of time.
- 1:08:43Speaker 5: You should stick straws in your nose to keep your
- 1:08:46Speaker 5: nose passage open.
- 1:08:47Speaker 8: I don't think that'll work. I'll just pull them out
- 1:08:50Speaker 8: and throw them across the room.
- 1:08:52Speaker 7: Roll over and impale your brain.
- 1:08:54Speaker 8: Come on. I saw Evasion USA. I want to get
- 1:08:59Speaker 8: a nose. up my nose. That's how that chick died.
- 1:09:02Speaker 8: And then she got thrown out the window. I'm not
- 1:09:04Speaker 8: sure which killed her, the straw or getting thrown out
- 1:09:06Speaker 8: the window.
- 1:09:06Speaker 7: I don't know what you're talking about. Neither was good.
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: I have no idea what's going on.
- 1:09:09Speaker 8: Me neither. But no, I mean, as far as like stories,
- 1:09:14Speaker 8: how they, I don't know. It's like you have a
- 1:09:17Speaker 8: character that you know and it's somebody that you pretty
- 1:09:22Speaker 8: much know how their life is, and then Hollywood gets
- 1:09:24Speaker 8: a hold of it and makes a movie, and then
- 1:09:26Speaker 8: they throw shit in there just to make the story
- 1:09:29Speaker 8: more interesting, and you're like, that never happened. Why did
- 1:09:33Speaker 8: that happen? Why did they put that in there? I
- 1:09:34Speaker 8: didn't know if it was like that. Yeah, they had
- 1:09:37Speaker 8: to add some stuff, you know?
- 1:09:39Speaker 9: This one has a lot of stuff back and forth,
- 1:09:41Speaker 9: and some people don't like that. I think it was
- 1:09:43Speaker 9: probably more, again, maybe because I already knew a lot
- 1:09:45Speaker 9: of the movie stuff, and this was more the personal life,
- 1:09:47Speaker 9: which you don't know anything about, so... I don't know
- 1:09:50Speaker 9: how much it was based on like, I know they
- 1:09:52Speaker 9: kind of based it on some of the books about them,
- 1:09:54Speaker 9: but they go into a lot of weird, like she's
- 1:09:57Speaker 9: got this friend that's a guy that's in the movie
- 1:10:00Speaker 9: very into her. So I don't know how much of
- 1:10:02Speaker 9: that real relationship was actually happening in the real world
- 1:10:06Speaker 9: and how much they like just put it in there
- 1:10:08Speaker 9: to give them some sort of like controversy going on.
- 1:10:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:10:12Speaker 9: Yeah, there's a lot of stuff between the two of
- 1:10:14Speaker 9: them relationship-wise that, again, I think is probably one of
- 1:10:17Speaker 9: the more interesting parts of the movie, but I think
- 1:10:19Speaker 9: that's the part that usually people don't care about. But
- 1:10:23Speaker 9: I'll tell you what I was impressed with, and it's
- 1:10:26Speaker 9: funny that years ago I would have never.
- 1:10:28Speaker 7: I don't know if I would have believed this, but
- 1:10:30Speaker 7: Scarlett Johansson is pretty good in it. I did not expect... Again,
- 1:10:35Speaker 7: wasn't she just a hot piece of ass a few
- 1:10:37Speaker 7: years ago? And she keeps getting... Real roles. And I'm like,
- 1:10:40Speaker 7: each time I'm assuming she's just going to kind of
- 1:10:42Speaker 7: walk through it because she's cute.
- 1:10:43Speaker 5: I kind of always thought she was a respectable actress.
- 1:10:45Speaker 7: Well, she started off like when she was young and
- 1:10:47Speaker 7: doing kind of indie movies, she had a little credibility.
- 1:10:50Speaker 7: And then once she got to be A-list girl, like
- 1:10:52Speaker 7: they just kind of started throwing her every big movie.
- 1:10:54Speaker 8: They were like, yeah, they were like, hey, we need.
- 1:10:57Speaker 3: We need a set of boobs for this.
- 1:10:58Speaker 7: Yeah, please fill this dress.
- 1:10:59Speaker 5: I don't really think Shiver became like the Katherine Heigl
- 1:11:02Speaker 5: of stupid.
- 1:11:02Speaker 3: Katherine Heigl is a self-righteous cunt. Fucking hate her.
- 1:11:07Speaker 5: Number one on people who want to punch in the face.
- 1:11:09Speaker 3: Hell yeah.
- 1:11:10Speaker 8: Actually, I think Misty would probably go for the throat
- 1:11:13Speaker 8: on this one.
- 1:11:13Speaker 5: People who want to punch in the throat.
- 1:11:15Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 1:11:16Speaker 3: Probably both.
- 1:11:17Speaker 5: I'd like.
- 1:11:18Speaker 3: Jabbed and cried.
- 1:11:19Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:11:19Speaker 11: Whatever.
- 1:11:20Speaker 3: I don't fucking like her. Fucking cunt.
- 1:11:23Speaker 7: I think she's, like, she was well above what Katherine
- 1:11:26Speaker 7: Heigl was.
- 1:11:26Speaker 9: Like, she really did become the go-to girl for, like,
- 1:11:30Speaker 9: anything in a, you know, 10 age range.
- 1:11:33Speaker 7: If you needed somebody from 20 to 30, she was
- 1:11:35Speaker 7: the first thing on the list. You need a beautiful
- 1:11:37Speaker 7: girl with big boobs. Well, that doesn't hurt your career
- 1:11:40Speaker 7: in Hollywood, but, you know, she, yeah, she became that.
- 1:11:43Speaker 7: And to me, it seemed like they were throwing just
- 1:11:45Speaker 7: every big movie at her, and it could have been, like,
- 1:11:47Speaker 7: she was just cashing in, but she's turned in some
- 1:11:49Speaker 7: pretty interesting performances lately, and this one's pretty good. It's
- 1:11:54Speaker 7: funny how much it focuses on her. It really focuses
- 1:11:59Speaker 7: on her as one of the main stars in this movie,
- 1:12:01Speaker 7: in Hitchcock, which she's not kind of in Psycho. If
- 1:12:04Speaker 7: you've seen Psycho, she's... Who hasn't seen Psycho?
- 1:12:07Speaker 9: Well, spoiler alert, I don't want to ruin it for you,
- 1:12:09Speaker 9: but Vera Miles kind of becomes the lead, and it's
- 1:12:13Speaker 9: funny how much she gets totally like, And it goes
- 1:12:16Speaker 9: a little bit into that, how Hitchcock had issues with
- 1:12:19Speaker 9: his leading ladies and how he had problems with her.
- 1:12:21Speaker 9: And that's why she ended up in this role.
- 1:12:23Speaker 3: Who played Vera Miles in that movie?
- 1:12:26Speaker 7: Jessica Biel, I think.
- 1:12:29Speaker 12: Really?
- 1:12:30Speaker 5: I just thought of something.
- 1:12:31Speaker 7: Yeah, Jessica Biel.
- 1:12:32Speaker 5: A little off track. But if you think about Ghost World,
- 1:12:35Speaker 5: which was my favorite movie with Scarlett Johansson ever... And
- 1:12:38Speaker 5: how small her boobs are compared to Thora Birch. Thora
- 1:12:42Speaker 5: Birch must have gigantic boobies. I mean, I know she does.
- 1:12:46Speaker 5: It's kind of obvious that she does. But if Scarlett
- 1:12:48Speaker 5: Johansson already has big boobs.
- 1:12:49Speaker 8: I forgot about her being in that movie.
- 1:12:50Speaker 7: Yeah, she's kind of... I.
- 1:12:52Speaker 8: Totally forgot her being in that movie. I only remember.
- 1:12:55Speaker 7: She's barely in it. I mean, she disappears midway into
- 1:12:58Speaker 7: the movie.
- 1:12:58Speaker 5: Because the movie is almost all about Thora Birch's gigantic boobs.
- 1:13:03Speaker 8: I thought it was about her and that creepy... Steve
- 1:13:06Speaker 8: Buscemi's awesome.
- 1:13:07Speaker 5: Yeah, that's what it's about, really.
- 1:13:09Speaker 8: Yeah, I was like, what? How does he get Thorbert?
- 1:13:12Speaker 7: Because he's awesome?
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: No, I don't know.
- 1:13:15Speaker 3: I can see.
- 1:13:17Speaker 5: I feel like he did a lot, and I could
- 1:13:18Speaker 5: totally get it.
- 1:13:19Speaker 3: I get it. You would totally touch with Steve Buscemi,
- 1:13:21Speaker 3: wouldn't you? Don't lie, don't lie. Probably. We know you.
- 1:13:26Speaker 5: You know me.
- 1:13:28Speaker 7: You can't lie. We all know the truth. So, yeah,
- 1:13:32Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 1:13:32Speaker 3: This.
- 1:13:33Speaker 5: Looks aren't that important to me on some levels.
- 1:13:36Speaker 3: They are to me. I'm incredibly superficial. And we all
- 1:13:38Speaker 3: know it.
- 1:13:39Speaker 7: We know you.
- 1:13:40Speaker 5: I can never go for Steve Buscemi because I don't
- 1:13:42Speaker 5: like his teeth.
- 1:13:43Speaker 3: But his eyes are okay.
- 1:13:44Speaker 5: No, I don't really like his eyes. And his teeth
- 1:13:46Speaker 5: are really what bother me.
- 1:13:47Speaker 7: But he has his own thing, man.
- 1:13:49Speaker 3: Yeah, I know.
- 1:13:50Speaker 7: He's got Steve Buscemi eyes.
- 1:13:51Speaker 5: It's his puffy peepers and his snaggle teeth.
- 1:13:55Speaker 3: But you like that.
- 1:13:56Speaker 13: No.
- 1:13:57Speaker 4: No.
- 1:14:00Speaker 7: I don't know. They do some good stuff, though, as
- 1:14:02Speaker 7: far as casting. Actually, that's the thing.
- 1:14:05Speaker 9: Jessica Biel doesn't do a bad job. She doesn't have
- 1:14:07Speaker 9: a lot of screen time. They really do kind of
- 1:14:09Speaker 9: shaft her the way that Hitchcock was missed.
- 1:14:11Speaker 3: At Peter Marles. Whenever you say her name, I think
- 1:14:13Speaker 3: of Jennifer Beals, and I'm like, what does Flashdance Girl
- 1:14:15Speaker 3: got to do with this?
- 1:14:17Speaker 7: She's got a lot of movie roles these days, too.
- 1:14:19Speaker 7: She had that TV show. Anyway, but yeah, they do
- 1:14:23Speaker 7: some interesting casting on some of the other people. It's
- 1:14:26Speaker 7: worth watching, but I just wasn't I'll never see it.
- 1:14:28Speaker 10: Blown away.
- 1:14:29Speaker 7: I expected more. I think I was just hoping for more.
- 1:14:32Speaker 7: I wanted some better.
- 1:14:33Speaker 3: And didn't they do like two different Hitchcock movies at
- 1:14:36Speaker 3: almost the.
- 1:14:36Speaker 11: Exact same time?
- 1:14:36Speaker 9: There's another one I think coming out. Maybe it's like
- 1:14:38Speaker 9: an HBO movie or something. I think it's a cable movie,
- 1:14:41Speaker 9: but it's supposedly... And again, I'll watch that because I
- 1:14:44Speaker 9: kind of want to see if they do something different
- 1:14:45Speaker 9: than what this one did.
- 1:14:46Speaker 8: I wish they didn't stick that low hand in it.
- 1:14:49Speaker 5: Oh, God. Did you make a tiny little... My friend
- 1:14:53Speaker 5: was at a bar in Cincinnati the other day and
- 1:14:56Speaker 5: some guy came up to him and was like, are
- 1:15:00Speaker 5: you me when I was younger? And he was like,
- 1:15:04Speaker 5: I don't think so.
- 1:15:06Speaker 8: See, I would totally be like, yes.
- 1:15:09Speaker 7: This is my money. Did he just watch New Girl?
- 1:15:14Speaker 4: I know.
- 1:15:15Speaker 5: I was a definite episode of New Girl.
- 1:15:18Speaker 7: I unfortunately can say I watched it.
- 1:15:20Speaker 5: Season one was awful, but season two is funny.
- 1:15:24Speaker 9: We were talking about that the other day. It's just,
- 1:15:26Speaker 9: It's just weird that it doesn't even focus on her.
- 1:15:29Speaker 9: If you ask me, it's all about fucking Schmidt.
- 1:15:32Speaker 3: I love him because he was awesome on Veronica Mars.
- 1:15:35Speaker 5: Who was he on Veronica Mars?
- 1:15:37Speaker 3: Deputy Leo Land.
- 1:15:40Speaker 7: You wouldn't even know it, would you?
- 1:15:42Speaker 3: No.
- 1:15:43Speaker 7: He's a different kind of guy when he's schmitty.
- 1:15:45Speaker 5: That's crazy. Season one, it wasn't Leo.
- 1:15:50Speaker 3: His name was Leo. Lamb was the other Dick. Sorry,
- 1:15:52Speaker 3: I got him confused there for a second. I don't
- 1:15:54Speaker 3: remember Leo's last name. It was Don Lamb and then Leo.
- 1:15:57Speaker 3: It was Leo's last name.
- 1:15:58Speaker 7: I don't remember.
- 1:16:00Speaker 9: I told you I was still weirded out because Dick
- 1:16:04Speaker 9: is playing a regular person now.
- 1:16:06Speaker 3: Dick's always Dick.
- 1:16:07Speaker 5: Who?
- 1:16:08Speaker 3: What? Dick Casablancas from Veronica.
- 1:16:11Speaker 7: Oh, from Party Down.
- 1:16:14Speaker 12: Oh, yeah.
- 1:16:14Speaker 7: The surfer dude.
- 1:16:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:16:15Speaker 7: Who always plays a surfer dude, except now they jammed.
- 1:16:18Speaker 5: That's like two broke girls.
- 1:16:19Speaker 9: Now they jammed him into two broke girls, and he's got, like,
- 1:16:21Speaker 9: a haircut, and he talks like a normal human being,
- 1:16:24Speaker 9: and I'm just like, who is this guy?
- 1:16:25Speaker 5: He was actually on an episode of Key & Peele,
- 1:16:28Speaker 5: and he was like, oh, oh, man, I just got
- 1:16:30Speaker 5: this Bureau of My Tribe Called Quest shirt.
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: I like it.
- 1:16:34Speaker 7: Like, again, in Party Down, he's amazing. I love it.
- 1:16:36Speaker 9: He proved that he actually is a good actor.
- 1:16:38Speaker 7: Like, he was just a dick when he was Dick Casablancas. But, like,
- 1:16:41Speaker 7: on Party Down, he's amazing.
- 1:16:43Speaker 5: I don't know. I love New Girl Season 2.
- 1:16:46Speaker 11: It's funny.
- 1:16:46Speaker 3: I can't watch it. It's because the girl... I just
- 1:16:49Speaker 3: can't watch her anymore. I mean, I used to love
- 1:16:51Speaker 3: Zooey Deschanel, but now she just pisses me off because she's.
- 1:16:53Speaker 8: The queen of hipsters.
- 1:16:55Speaker 5: Sure, she is.
- 1:16:56Speaker 9: Again, the Season 1... was worse because they were like
- 1:17:01Speaker 9: going out of their way to make her like that
- 1:17:02Speaker 9: like season two they just don't really focus on her
- 1:17:04Speaker 9: so she's just a girl well it's.
- 1:17:06Speaker 5: Like it's like the same with um uh parks and
- 1:17:09Speaker 5: recreation like leslie nope was this unlikable fucking moron of
- 1:17:13Speaker 5: a character in season one and season two she's like
- 1:17:16Speaker 5: this awesome kick-ass like leader it's kind of the same
- 1:17:19Speaker 5: with her you.
- 1:17:20Speaker 7: Know it's just like i didn't come in too late
- 1:17:21Speaker 7: on that one she was.
- 1:17:22Speaker 5: Like this Jess was like a clueless, and I've only
- 1:17:25Speaker 5: seen two episodes of this season so I don't really know,
- 1:17:27Speaker 5: but she was like this clueless idiot who couldn't function
- 1:17:31Speaker 5: in the real world and now she's more just like
- 1:17:32Speaker 5: a quirky weirdo.
- 1:17:34Speaker 3: I've been watching Vampire Diary.
- 1:17:36Speaker 5: I want to watch American Horror Story, but I want
- 1:17:39Speaker 5: to be able to sleep in my house again.
- 1:17:41Speaker 8: Seriously. You could do it. It's not that scary.
- 1:17:45Speaker 3: All you're going to do is have nightmares of people
- 1:17:46Speaker 3: having sex with each other because that's all they do
- 1:17:48Speaker 3: in the fucking episode is sex.
- 1:17:50Speaker 11: I know.
- 1:17:51Speaker 5: I know, but there's that one episode with the pig.
- 1:17:54Speaker 7: But you left your 100-year-old creepy house.
- 1:17:56Speaker 5: I moved into a 100-year-old creepy house.
- 1:17:58Speaker 7: That's what I was going to ask.
- 1:17:59Speaker 9: What's your new creepy house like?
- 1:18:02Speaker 3: Creepy.
- 1:18:02Speaker 5: 1894 house. It's actually really awesome. You guys have to
- 1:18:05Speaker 5: come over. It's big.
- 1:18:06Speaker 3: It's gigantic.
- 1:18:07Speaker 5: It's bigger than the perimeters of my body. Unlike my
- 1:18:10Speaker 5: last place.
- 1:18:10Speaker 7: Yeah, your last place was about the size of the
- 1:18:13Speaker 7: room we're in now.
- 1:18:14Speaker 3: My whole apartment is bigger than your whole apartment.
- 1:18:17Speaker 5: Pretty much. That I used to live in would fit
- 1:18:19Speaker 5: in my kitchen. Yeah, it's pretty great. Although the bathroom's
- 1:18:25Speaker 5: a lot smaller, but that's okay because I have two
- 1:18:27Speaker 5: and a half bedrooms.
- 1:18:29Speaker 10: Awesome.
- 1:18:29Speaker 5: And you can actually go in your bathroom.
- 1:18:33Speaker 7: You had a bathroom before, but I don't think I
- 1:18:35Speaker 7: could ever get it more than a foot or two.
- 1:18:37Speaker 5: Well, you know, like the last six months or so,
- 1:18:40Speaker 5: I got rid of a lot of stuff and I
- 1:18:41Speaker 5: found a place for everything and my apartment was always clean.
- 1:18:43Speaker 5: So it was like, it was livable. Like the last,
- 1:18:46Speaker 5: before I decided to move out. You know, cause it's like,
- 1:18:49Speaker 5: I think I was able to tolerate living there so long.
- 1:18:51Speaker 5: I was just like, I just need.
- 1:18:51Speaker 3: To clean up and it'll be totally fun.
- 1:18:53Speaker 5: And I'll have all this space.
- 1:18:55Speaker 7: And then I like, then you cleaned up and went,
- 1:18:57Speaker 7: fuck this.
- 1:18:58Speaker 10: Exactly.
- 1:18:59Speaker 5: And I was like, yeah, no, I think I want
- 1:19:02Speaker 5: a bigger apartment. But I was, I was actually going
- 1:19:04Speaker 5: to move away. And then my mom decided to move
- 1:19:07Speaker 5: to the exact same place I was going.
- 1:19:08Speaker 10: And I was like, okay.
- 1:19:09Speaker 5: Maybe I'll stay.
- 1:19:11Speaker 8: See, that's why you gotta tell her you're moving someplace else.
- 1:19:14Speaker 3: I'm moving to Alaska.
- 1:19:16Speaker 5: Going to Alaska.
- 1:19:17Speaker 6: See you there.
- 1:19:19Speaker 5: But I mean, it was nice.
- 1:19:19Speaker 3: So has she packed up her unicorn and rug yet?
- 1:19:22Speaker 5: No, but she's given me all the stuff that I
- 1:19:24Speaker 5: want from her house, which is really cool.
- 1:19:26Speaker 8: Like the fog fountain?
- 1:19:27Speaker 7: That's a small list, isn't it?
- 1:19:29Speaker 5: No, my mom actually, believe it or not, has a
- 1:19:31Speaker 5: lot of cool stuff because she likes that show Storage Wars.
- 1:19:35Speaker 6: Oh, God.
- 1:19:35Speaker 5: And she goes to storage units sometimes when she has
- 1:19:38Speaker 5: money and buys the storage units. There's a bunch of
- 1:19:40Speaker 5: stuff that she has no interest in, but I'm like,
- 1:19:42Speaker 5: I'll have this.
- 1:19:43Speaker 3: Does she have anything I want?
- 1:19:45Speaker 13: Highly doubtful.
- 1:19:46Speaker 3: Sometimes.
- 1:19:46Speaker 5: I got this really cool white ceramic Christmas deer today.
- 1:19:50Speaker 5: It's like pearly.
- 1:19:51Speaker 3: I was like, I want this. Would it match my
- 1:19:52Speaker 3: big squirrel that I have in there?
- 1:19:54Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:19:55Speaker 5: No, it's actually kind of classy looking.
- 1:19:57Speaker 3: Are you saying the squirrel's not classy?
- 1:19:59Speaker 7: Your sparkly, fluffy-tailed squirrel.
- 1:20:00Speaker 3: No, I'm talking about the white one in there.
- 1:20:02Speaker 5: Oh, yeah, the white one. Yeah, I thought you were
- 1:20:03Speaker 5: talking about your glittery squirrel.
- 1:20:05Speaker 7: Oh, the glittery squirrel's just fucking awesome.
- 1:20:06Speaker 3: Yeah, no. I mean, I'm not judging.
- 1:20:08Speaker 5: I'm just saying.
- 1:20:09Speaker 3: I told you to buy it. I was already halfway there.
- 1:20:12Speaker 7: You were halfway there, and I shoved you out of there.
- 1:20:14Speaker 8: I was like, you have to have this.
- 1:20:15Speaker 7: It's the tackiest thing I've ever seen.
- 1:20:17Speaker 5: I like that it has a furry tail. It's really
- 1:20:19Speaker 5: what sells it for me. Because I have a glittery
- 1:20:21Speaker 5: owl that's just like that.
- 1:20:22Speaker 3: Awesome.
- 1:20:23Speaker 5: If it had feathery wings or like a beak, that'd
- 1:20:25Speaker 5: be amazing.
- 1:20:25Speaker 3: You get some fucking glue gun and you fucking glue
- 1:20:28Speaker 3: that shit on there.
- 1:20:30Speaker 5: No, but my mom had all these globes for some reason.
- 1:20:33Speaker 3: Your mom don't know where shit is. She doesn't.
- 1:20:37Speaker 5: Some old map kind of thing.
- 1:20:38Speaker 3: She thinks Texas is like two minutes away. It's like
- 1:20:41Speaker 3: right across the street from Kentucky.
- 1:20:43Speaker 5: I mean, if she does, if she, she understands the
- 1:20:46Speaker 5: United States pretty well, but she could, she'd probably think
- 1:20:49Speaker 5: that like, Guatemala is in, like, Mexico.
- 1:20:53Speaker 3: Part of Canada.
- 1:20:54Speaker 5: Part of Canada.
- 1:20:55Speaker 7: It's not? Wait a minute.
- 1:20:57Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:20:57Speaker 10: I don't know.
- 1:21:00Speaker 5: Where's Peru? Oh, it's in Mexico.
- 1:21:02Speaker 3: Oh, I read a book, too. Should I talk about
- 1:21:05Speaker 3: that or not?
- 1:21:06Speaker 7: You can't read.
- 1:21:07Speaker 3: I did, but they're making a movie of it, so
- 1:21:08Speaker 3: should I not talk about the movie or the book?
- 1:21:10Speaker 7: What is it?
- 1:21:11Speaker 3: Warm Bodies.
- 1:21:13Speaker 7: I haven't seen it, so go to town.
- 1:21:15Speaker 3: It's a trailer, and... It's the trailer makes it look
- 1:21:21Speaker 3: at least somewhat quirky and fun, but that's the whole
- 1:21:24Speaker 3: I'm like this isn't logical This makes no there's no logic.
- 1:21:28Speaker 3: It's about zombies zombie apocalypse has done happened or whatever
- 1:21:31Speaker 3: and they're still survivors But then like this zombie apparently
- 1:21:35Speaker 3: when they eat people's brains they can kind of like
- 1:21:37Speaker 3: absorb their memories for a brief time So whatever so
- 1:21:42Speaker 3: let's get the main zombie guy eats another dude who's
- 1:21:46Speaker 3: in love with this girl and So the zombie kind
- 1:21:48Speaker 3: of falls in love with this girl. So he doesn't
- 1:21:51Speaker 3: eat her. He, like, saves her and takes her to
- 1:21:53Speaker 3: his plane where he lives. Because he lives in the airport.
- 1:21:55Speaker 3: The plane.
- 1:21:55Speaker 7: Duh.
- 1:21:57Speaker 3: And apparently.
- 1:21:58Speaker 5: She falls in love with him, too.
- 1:22:00Speaker 3: And he starts to become human again. I'm like, what
- 1:22:03Speaker 3: the fuck? He's a zombie. He's already done started to
- 1:22:06Speaker 3: rot a little bit. He's got big old bite marks
- 1:22:08Speaker 3: out of him. How the fuck is he going to
- 1:22:09Speaker 3: turn human again?
- 1:22:10Speaker 7: But it's true love.
- 1:22:12Speaker 5: Made him human.
- 1:22:13Speaker 3: Brought him back from the dead.
- 1:22:14Speaker 5: You know what movie I love about bringing zombies back
- 1:22:17Speaker 5: from the dead? Because I love My Boyfriend's Back. I
- 1:22:19Speaker 5: fucking love that movie.
- 1:22:20Speaker 7: A classy, classy movie.
- 1:22:21Speaker 5: That was a great ass movie.
- 1:22:22Speaker 9: It's funny how ahead of its time that movie was.
- 1:22:25Speaker 5: Zombie Honeymoon.
- 1:22:26Speaker 3: I fucking love that movie.
- 1:22:27Speaker 5: Me too. Two favorite zombie movies of all time.
- 1:22:29Speaker 3: Boom. It's like an egg. But it's just, I don't
- 1:22:32Speaker 3: understand the whole concept of dirt. He's slowly turning human again.
- 1:22:35Speaker 3: He's dead. His parts have started to die. He's dead.
- 1:22:42Speaker 7: Love, true love, can bring you back when you're just
- 1:22:46Speaker 7: a little bit dead.
- 1:22:47Speaker 5: Yeah, if he wasn't all the way dead. If he
- 1:22:49Speaker 5: was all the way dead, it's a no-go.
- 1:22:50Speaker 3: But zombies that are, like, already, like, half decomposed, they're
- 1:22:53Speaker 3: slowly starting to, like, heal.
- 1:22:55Speaker 8: Yeah, I mean, you can't even, even in the real,
- 1:22:58Speaker 8: real world, real world, If you've got gangrene, your shit's
- 1:23:02Speaker 8: not going to start turning back because you fell in
- 1:23:03Speaker 8: love with some chick. It's still going to fucking fall off.
- 1:23:05Speaker 5: You know, if a zombie apocalypse does happen and a
- 1:23:09Speaker 5: zombie comes up to me, I'm just going to be like, ugh,
- 1:23:11Speaker 5: over it. They're going to be like, I love you.
- 1:23:15Speaker 7: You're so played out, dude.
- 1:23:16Speaker 3: I love zombie movies, though. I'm not complaining about that.
- 1:23:19Speaker 3: Just the whole premise of him returning back to human
- 1:23:21Speaker 3: just doesn't make any sense. How is he going to
- 1:23:24Speaker 3: be alive again?
- 1:23:25Speaker 5: I want to watch My Boyfriend.
- 1:23:28Speaker 3: Johnny, your ear! I love that movie.
- 1:23:31Speaker 5: I do, too.
- 1:23:32Speaker 3: We're not watching that tonight, though. But we should probably
- 1:23:33Speaker 3: get to that soon. We should finish up what Brian's doing.
- 1:23:35Speaker 7: I think we should. Yeah, we could just get into
- 1:23:37Speaker 7: that one.
- 1:23:38Speaker 5: I love the part where his parents bring home a
- 1:23:39Speaker 5: child from the grocery store.
- 1:23:41Speaker 7: His parents are pretty awesome.
- 1:23:43Speaker 3: God.
- 1:23:47Speaker 7: Okay, kids, get out your decoder pins. Dun-dun-dun-dun-dun-dun-dun-dun-dun-dun-dun-dun-dun.
- 1:23:52Speaker 6: You can tell that tonight's message was really important.
- 1:23:54Speaker 9: All right, it's time for the movie meltdown secret circle
- 1:23:57Speaker 9: review of the next exciting feature.
- 1:23:58Speaker 3: Dun-dun-dun-dun.
- 1:24:00Speaker 9: And one of us here is probably in trouble once
- 1:24:02Speaker 9: they find out. So next week we'll be back with
- 1:24:06Speaker 9: the full-on discussion of the quote-unquote classic Sleepaway Camp.
- 1:24:14Speaker 3: Oh, yes.
- 1:24:15Speaker 7: You're quite familiar with this movie, aren't you, Marlena?
- 1:24:17Speaker 3: No.
- 1:24:19Speaker 6: Hasn't seen it yet.
- 1:24:20Speaker 3: She's like the one person in the world.
- 1:24:23Speaker 8: Misty already broke me in on this movie.
- 1:24:24Speaker 5: I don't really watch a lot of movies. I don't
- 1:24:25Speaker 5: know why I'm on this podcast.
- 1:24:30Speaker 9: I don't know that you should admit that on the show,
- 1:24:33Speaker 9: but it doesn't surprise me that you did, actually.
- 1:24:37Speaker 7: We know you.
- 1:24:39Speaker 5: It's just because we're friends and, you know.
- 1:24:43Speaker 8: You got dragged into it. You have a very different.
- 1:24:47Speaker 7: And alternative perspective than most other people on shows. He
- 1:24:51Speaker 7: just mixed it up.
- 1:24:52Speaker 6: He did, totally.
- 1:24:53Speaker 7: Well, that's true of all of you, truthfully. Y'all are
- 1:24:55Speaker 7: a bunch of weirdos, but you're different weirdos than other shows.
- 1:24:59Speaker 7: We're not special. This whole show is full of special people.
- 1:25:03Speaker 7: Come on now.
- 1:25:04Speaker 3: My Velcro shoes are over there.
- 1:25:05Speaker 7: We are a big old dysfunctional family, as I previously stated.
- 1:25:09Speaker 5: I miss my Velcro tennis shoes that I always used
- 1:25:11Speaker 5: to wear in high school. They had skulls on them.
- 1:25:16Speaker 7: They were really cool.
- 1:25:17Speaker 3: Awesome.
- 1:25:18Speaker 6: Special. Very, very special.
- 1:25:21Speaker 7: All right, so prepare yourselves. Go watch it now because
- 1:25:25Speaker 7: we're going to spoil the hell out of it after
- 1:25:26Speaker 7: we've ruined Marlena's life.
- 1:25:28Speaker 2: Yay.
- 1:25:29Speaker 13: All right.
- 1:25:29Speaker 5: Are puppies going to die or something?
- 1:25:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:25:32Speaker 7: You'll hope we could have scenes of that after this. Otherwise,
- 1:25:35Speaker 7: that about does it. We'll return next week. Same geek time,
- 1:25:38Speaker 7: same geek feed. Thanks for listening.
- 1:25:40Speaker 13: Got new shoes today, my friends.
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: I hope you like them.
- 1:25:47Speaker 8: They have velcro sleeves.
- 1:25:58Speaker 13: Decide to rip them off and take a bath.
- 1:26:02Speaker 11: Okay.
- 1:26:02Speaker 13: Now in.
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: My tub I have more friends.
- 1:26:19Speaker 13: The yellow doggie and floating house.
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: That's alright, cause I don't need them anymore Perhaps this time.
- 1:26:42Speaker 13: We'll build a treehouse That we can climb and waste
- 1:26:47Speaker 13: the boring days away Maybe this time we'll build a go-kart.
- 1:27:05Speaker 2: A glass of.
- 1:27:11Speaker 11: Milk for a little pain Such a good boy, let
- 1:27:29Speaker 11: him have some more.
- 1:27:36Speaker 15: The blackbirds in the trees Faithless man lies behind closed
- 1:27:44Speaker 15: doors Smitting lovely memories A happy face is all I
- 1:27:55Speaker 15: ever needed Perhaps.
- 1:27:58Speaker 13: This time we'll build a treehouse Maybe this time we'll
- 1:28:12Speaker 13: build a gold car and drive around the world.
- 1:29:17Speaker 7: I hope you like them.
- 1:29:20Speaker 13: They have no crow straps. They do.
- 1:29:25Speaker 5: Is that little paper thing going to tell me who
- 1:29:27Speaker 5: I'm marrying or if I live in a trailer or
- 1:29:29Speaker 5: a mansion?
- 1:29:29Speaker 3: If I write it down there, maybe. Is that a pen?
- 1:29:35Speaker 8: No fortune for you.
- 1:29:36Speaker 3: Oh.
- 1:29:36Speaker 8: Urn ab ost.
- 1:29:38Speaker 3: That's who you're going to marry. What? Urn ab ost.
- 1:29:42Speaker 5: Oh, cool.
- 1:29:42Speaker 7: You have no future. Sorry.
- 1:29:45Speaker 3: Oh.
