- Amanda: What is up, guys? Welcome back to another episode of Let's Talk Football Married Edition. It is Thursday, September 24th, my friends. I'm Amanda, and I'm here with my lovely husband Drew, and we are gearing up Drew: What is up? Amanda: for week number three, baby. Live at five, week three already in action and just riddled with fucking injuries. And that just quarterbacks were just like boom, boom. Drew: Welcome to fantasy football. Amanda: The quarterbacks were going down. It was actually scary. Drew: Uh-huh. Well, one of them in particular was going down a little bit harder than what he should have and got roasted on the internet for it. poor Caleb Williams. Yes. Amanda: Did you see after like Jackson Dart too, like it kept saying like he might come back, he might come back? And I'm like, is he just trying to like is he scared? 'Cause like Caleb Williams was just a tragedy. Drew: The amount of memes and videos that I saw of like Jackson Dart's leg not even attached to his body or like completely like pretzeled up and him like yelling at his coach to let him play back you know, play in the game, or like in a wheelchair wheeling himself out there, like telling the coach to get the hell out of his way that he's getting in the game. And then they would show Caleb Williams like crying in a hospital bed because he he can't possibly, you know, j they're gonna have to cut my leg off, amputate my leg. yeah, the Wasn't a good look for Kayla Williams. His PR team didn't do a didn't do a very good job with the fallout there. Amanda: you know what? Here's how I feel it. In the moment, it probably felt like a really big deal. It probably hurt really bad. It felt like a big deal. It felt like it could be season ending. Let the man have his emotions. Let's just normalize being a little emotional about it. I'm all right with it. It that's devastating. Drew: Yeah. Amanda: You're an elite quarterback. You're ha you played so well. Like it's okay to be up in your fields, babe. It's all good. Uh-huh. Whatever. I don't give a fuck. Drew: Yeah, I get it. Still looked bad. All right. Monday night football. We had a super boring game. Super boring. Amanda: Now, you know what? So there's this TikTok trend. Okay, I y Drew doesn't tick tock, but Amanda TikToks. Drew: I do not. Amanda: And it's like women who don't know anything about football and the man who loves the team on the screen, he can't watch it. She has to narrate what's happening. And Drew: I've seen those, yeah. Amanda: yes, and it's like when Jackson Dark got hurt, he's she's like, no, he's holding his knee. What what number? What number? I number nine? I don't think he's important, but number nine, he's like, Jackson Dart. And it's just hilarious. And Drew: Mm. Amanda: just debit, they're like, this woman's like, it's no big deal. Or she's like, they scored. And he's like, the other team. She's like, yeah, yay. No. It's hilarious. but yeah, so Jackson Dart out for the season. Yeah. Drew: Yep. Yep. Out for the season. MCO, PCL, and meniscus damage. So look, John Harbaugh said like, he's out for the regular season. Hopefully he can come back for the playoffs. Like, dude, you're not you're not making the playoffs, I doubt, without Jackson Dart. so yeah, one, it's wishful s Amanda: Wishful thinking, wishful think Jameis Winston, baby, I'm in. Drew: wishful thinking. Two, it doesn't matter for us fantasy players. He's out for our for our season for sure. Jameis took over. didn't look Super good, although it's tough thrown in against a look. The Rams defense is a problem. Aaron Amanda: Good defense. Yes. Drew: Donald coming back, just Jameis Winston was under duress the entire game and like big time under pressure. That was without Miles Garrett. Amanda: Yeah, he didn't look comfortable. Drew: Yeah, this is a point where playing people against the Rams just might not look really good because the Rams defense might actually be really good and the whole trip to Australia might have just been screwed up by McVay and maybe that's all it was. So from the Giants side, that's about it. Scattaboo didn't get as much work as I would have liked, although sixteen touches Amanda: It was the week of memes though. Did you see his like shorting out meme where he like wasn't on the field for like third and s third and goal or and he's like literally like tweaking on the sidelines? Drew: goal line carries and third and ones and it's just stupid. Like what are we doing giving Renaji Harris four touches? That's that's dumb. But it's not like I mean there were Amanda: He did nothing with them either. Drew: seven touches by the other running back. So it's not like a lot didn't go to Scataboo. It's just they couldn't get anything going and they weren't on the field very much. likely f five catches on ten targets, thirty three yards, that's a good floor. Jameis will throw the ball So going forward, don't be scared. Like the per the there's a lower floor for all these players, but they're not unplayable. Jameis has Amanda: Mm mm. Drew: had a long career and he will throw the football. Your your biggest worry is John Harbaugh, run the ball, play defense, not put the ball in the air so Jameis can't make mistakes. If he does that, two things are gonna happen. One, fantasy's gonna be ruined for that team. And two, they're gonna lose a lot of games because teams are just gonna put eight in the box and say, you know. We'll stop the run. So Amanda: Good luck. Yeah. Drew: neighbors got hurt, shoulder popped out of place, they popped it back in and he went back in for a whole one catch for one yard. So super good there. Amanda: Yeah, yeah, that was unfortunate. Drew: And how about those rams? Amanda: Adams absolutely destroyed. I mean, obviously we Drew: Mm-hmm. Amanda: knew that he'd see more work with Puka being out, but then again, it just really says like we should throw that Australia great game in the dumpster. Like it is not anything to overthink about of how this team is gonna perform. They looked fantastic. Everything was dialed. Drew: he looked absolutely incredible. And he also showed yeah, he showed I don't care how old I am, I'm a first ballot Amanda: No. Drew: hall of famer. Throw me the damn ball. He's yeah. He looked incredible. Amanda: He looked great. I was like, holy shit and Puka looks like potentially missing a little bit more time maybe, so even better for now, this is a terrible matchup for them, but he did. Drew: Yeah. Matt S Matt Stafford looked in Yeah, Matt Stafford looked incredible. Just give him some time to throw the football and the dude is an all I mean, he is an all time quarterback. Pure talent wise, he's probably a top ten quarterback of all time. He's just absolutely incredible. But as long as he's not underdressed, that dude is really good. So Amanda: Absolutely. The Rams were exciting again, so that's always good to know from a fan of I know everyone was a little little nervous about week one there, but again, throw it away and move on. But let's jump into hello, my microphone just fell, but it's okay, we're good. So let's jump into our episode. We're gonna do some red flag, green flag. We're gonna go over some major injuries from around the league and it's a laundry list. We're gonna have our weekly for better or worse prop bet competition and then go all through all of the week three matchups for for the week. Drew: All right, so let's jump into our wedding party question of the day. Now look, this isn't one person asking this question. This is about half of our community asking this question. do I start bench or just flat out drop Colston Loveland? Amanda: Ugh, yeah, this one's hard. I I think I I'm in I'm in a position where in in all circumstances I'm I gotta try to bench him right now. Yes. I'm not starting him. He's not someone I'm eager to start, obviously, with the Caleb Williams injury. We know that I don't call him by the right name. I wanna say beignet. Tyler Badget or what what's Drew: Tyson Bajant. Amanda: his last name? Tyson Batchet. Okay, for the entire football broadcast, I kept calling him Beignet. And like, that's not right, but it was funny. And now that's all I can fucking think about. And that's not even the right name. Nonetheless, he's got a concussion. So are we dealing with a third string quarterback? Potentially. I'm not trying to start Colson Loveland. At all circumstances, I'd like to keep him on my bench. I hate to get rid of a guy who number one I drafted high in the draft to spend a lot of draft capital on and does have potential. We saw it happen and heat up in the tail end of the season last year. I'd like to bench him and stream someone else. I I don't wanna drop him, like because again I just I I I think there's too much possibility there. Drew: Yeah. I I I I think he's it's too valuable just to straight up drop unless you absolutely one hundred percent have to. Look, I get the the want to, he's done nothing for two weeks and I I'm done with him and I'm gonna drop him. Like fantasy football is not just about the point scored, it's also about the perceived value of that player. So like you have an asset that the moment you drop him, someone in your league is gonna go pick him up. Probably somebody on a winning team. Who can afford to keep him on his bench. Why? Because Amanda: I would do it. Yeah. Drew: if he goes off or if he starts to play well, he is a top four or five tight end in the league. He's a very valuable piece. So, like, if you can keep him on your bench and pick up somebody else, that's great. If you have a bunch of injuries, but like people are like, you know, I I'm gonna drop Colston Loveland and pick up, you know, Oronday Gadston or or whatever streaming tight end they want, and I'll see a screenshot of their team. And they'll have players like Tajay Spears or an Emmett Johnson or some of these like backup players that like yeah, they have value too, but they're not as valuable as Loveland. And you're not gonna if you're not playing these guys, drop them. Don't drop Loveland. Because Loveland, the Amanda: Mm. Yeah. Drew: upper the the upside of him versus the upside of some of these other players, i it's just not there. So don't look at well this, you know, Emmett Johnson has scored you know, whatever, ten fantasy points or twelve fantasy points over two games and Loveland's only scored one and a half, I'm gonna drop Loveland. Well, no, because unless Kenneth Walker gets hurt, there's no upside for for Emmett Johnson, right? If if Loveland plays well, there's a giant upside and he doesn't need anybody to be injured. So just be smart about it. But by no means am I saying start the man. At this point, I want to bench him. Amanda: Yeah, absolutely. All right, next up we have red flag or green flag. So in this segment, I'm gonna bring up a player and I want you to tell me, are you raising the red flag on this player? You're worried or not worried at all, and you're keeping up that green flag and he's good to go. So we're starting with Jamison Williams. Give me your red flag or green flag thoughts. Drew: I am not in the red flag yet. I'm still in the green flag. I'm not terribly worried about him. look, snapshare 97% and 84% over the first two weeks. You know, six targets in the first game. I don't have his target number for this last game, but I don't think it was awful. Do you happen to remember? Amanda: I do not. Drew: I've got it right here. Jameson went four targets. So like. Look, target share has not been great, but it's not been terrible. They just Amanda: Mm mm. Drew: I haven't gotten him that involved. Week one, he had a little bit of the drop skis, you know, dropped the ball twice. Last game, they just against Buffalo, they were trailing and Almonerall just got everything. So I'm not terribly worried. Like six and a half and four point three points in half PPR. Look, it's not great. It's hurting for sure. I don't think it's the death knell of a of a goose egg or a one point that you've gotten for some other people. Also last week, 4.3 points, like most of the league was down last week. Scoring was low. He hasn't scored yet. That sucks. I I'm not I'm not getting rid of him. I'm not putting up a red flag. I'm just probably looking at benching him until he starts to have a little bit more production. But like it's also Jamison Williams. His entire career has been boomer bust. You're not going to get a weekly. 12 point output from him. You're gonna get one week where he scores 20, and then two weeks where he scores single digits. He scores four, five, six points. It's just the guy, it's who he is. So like you put him in his in your lineup when you need that boom play. And when you have a really close projection and you're worried about him scoring four points, put somebody in that you think's gonna get eight points that maybe has a a lower ceiling and and you just have to be okay with it. Amanda: Yeah. Also, like historically we've seen Jameson Jameson Williams heat up as the season goes on. He always starts a little weird and wonky and low and then slowly starts to rev himself back up. So hopefully good times are coming on the Jamison Williams front. Drew: Yeah, I mean la last year, six points, eighteen, six, five, two, eighteen, zero, sixteen, Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: twenty-three, nineteen, zero again, twenty-six, seventeen, twenty-six, twelve, five, thirteen. So like it's all over. He's Amanda: Boom or bust. Mm-hmm. Drew: not you can't think of him as he's not this top tier guy. Like, look look at what George Pickens is doing. He's in that level Amanda: Yeah. Drew: of he is the second option on a team. T. Higgins, he has these weeks, right? They're really good second receivers that don't have the guaranteed week to week. Like Amon Raw, CD, Jamar Chase rarely ever have bad games because they are the main target. You're gonna get bad games from these second receivers because they're not the main target. All right, Amanda, I got one for you. And it may be because I have personal interest in this player on one of my teams. Travis Etienne Jr. Travis H. Hand junior, excuse me. Red flag or green flag? Amanda: Yeah. It it's it's the the red flag is is a wave in for me on my on in my camp here. Obviously, number one, there's some injury happening currently. We'll talk a little bit about that more when we get into the injury report. But we saw such an interesting usage of him. Obviously, Camara was back this week and i in no way, shape or form did we think he would take away from ETN. They paid ATN big money. We're like, Nope, they're not going to let Camara take Too much work away from him. He's just gonna be used in that offense. He's been with that team forever. Not a big deal. Apparently, it is a big deal. So obviously this past week he had what six six fantasy points, eight carries, twenty five yards, two targets, two receptions, six yards, fifty-four percent of the snap count. And it's just the usage and i what he was used for on the field. It was alarming that he was not used nearly as much or more in that game. And it appears that they are still very set on involving Kamara in that offense. So yeah, I think this is something to to begin to worry about. And this is not a guy that is a weekly start anymore. Obviously matchup dependent. And as we get a little bit more time under our belts to see like, is this trend going to continue, it'll help us. But for now, I am worried about how much he is actually going to be used week to week, which is baffling in my opinion. But maybe he just doesn't have the production we thought he was going to have. Drew: Yeah. I mean I look I'm worried 'cause I have him, you know, on a team. He's a big part of it. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: But I don't know, Camaro was not good last week. I mean, nine Amanda: Not productive. No, he wasn't productive. Might Drew: nine carries for fifteen yards is atrocious. Five catches for seven yards. That's unplayable. not from like a fantasy standpoint, obviously that sucks. But I mean like from a team standpoint, how do you put somebody Amanda: Yeah. Drew: out there that when you give him the ball, he's getting a yard all game? And like HM wasn't that much better, but I mean, shit, eight for twenty five and two for six is a hell of a lot better than, you know, nine for fifteen and five for seven. But I don't know, I just Amanda: Yeah. Drew: think they got a problem and it's very worrisome right now. Amanda: Your biggest hope is that as time progresses, obviously Kamara's old, his age shows they rely more on on HN Junior at that point. So that's yeah. Tested it, Drew: I'm hoping this was the the game where they thought that he would still be really involved. Amanda: yeah. Drew: Yeah, the head coach came out before the game and said, you know, Kamara's gonna be ha he's gonna be a big part of the game plan this week. I'm I'm hoping they saw this and realized you know what? Amanda: Never. Drew: Maybe we were right in the off season when we basically told him, Take less money or you're not coming back. He's done. I I he just Amanda: Yeah. Drew: he didn't look good, so Amanda: Yeah. All right, how about Jeremiah Love? Red flag or green flag on him so far? Drew: I I'm I'm green flag still. Yeah, I'm I'm green flag. I he's a rookie on a team that is still splitting carries a lot. They're trying to keep him healthy. They he had 12 points week one, 11 carries, 41 yards, touchdown, four targets, two for nine. Look, he 43% snapshare in week one and 40% in week two. That's about what he's gonna get for most of the year. He's gonna be 40 to 50 percent. They're gonna manage his snaps, but when he's on the field, they are good. Getting him the ball because they realize that it's very valuable to get him the ball. Clearly they drafted him in the top five. it's not that Algiers gonna take all of his work. That's not happening. It's he had six points this last week, didn't score a touchdown, and the team got shit canned by Seattle. I mean, they played one of the top two defenses in the league, probably the best. Well, them and the Rams, the t you know, two of the top defenses in the league. It's just a bad week. The whole team played bad. So I'm not worried about Jeremiah Love at all. Again, I don't think his upside this year is gonna be, you know, a top five running back, but he's gonna should be finishing, you know, staying healthy, should finish in that 10 to 15 range and you should just be happy with what he is, right? So don't expect twenty point weeks every week. Be okay with ten to twelve points and tough matchups will be a little bit worse than that. So all right, Amanda, I got one for you. Red flag or green flag? Brian Thomas Junior. Amanda: Gosh. BTJ is a hard one. Obviously I I wanna say I'm still in a green flag camp for Brian Thomas Jr. I'm not full red alert. Obviously, snap count's been a little low. So thirty five percent in the first week, fifty-four in the second week. It did increase in week number two. Targets are still there though. Obviously three targets in week one, but he got up to eight targets in week number two. Trevor Lawrence is looking for him on the field. It's not that he isn't. Have they fully connected yet? No. And is there more potential there for them to keep connecting? Yes, I think they need to have another option outside of Parker Washington. And I think that secondary option is going to remain BTJ. And I don't think Jacoby Myers is gonna take that over away from BTJ. So I'm not full red flag just yet. Is he someone who I'm confident playing every week? No. I'd wanna see him move up a little bit and get a little bit more consistent, obviously, with, you know, actual receptions and him continuing to be used in the offense. But in no way, shape, or form am I eager to. look on moving on from this player by any means. I want to see him can continue to get involved and used in that offense, which again, that offense, they're scoring, they they're pushing the ball down the field. They're they're making a good effort in in how they're using their offense. So I think that they're going to continue to be a potent offense for fantasy football. And I do think BTJ will become more and more relevant over time. So I'm not ready to to wave my red flag on BTJ just yet. Drew: Are you worried at all about the fact that Parker Washington eighty one percent snapshare in week two? He's clearly the one. Jacoby Myers ninety percent snap share Amanda: Jacoby Myers, ninety percent, yeah. Drew: and Brian Thomas Jr. fifty four percent snapshare. Does that worry you at all? Amanda: Yes and no. I think Jacoby Myers is daring with an injury, so like I'm not worried overly the about that. I I just yes, I I looked at that where I like, God, Jacoby Myers was on the field so much, but he's just not getting as many targets as BTJ is right now. Yes. Drew: Yeah, the correct answer is no because he's got three targets over two games with more snapshare. Brian Thomas Junior has twelve. Yeah. Amanda: And like way more targets for way less snapshare. So it's just yeah. It's not something that I'm like, no. Yeah. Drew: Three for nine for forty yards though. Three for nine. Three for nine. That's awful. And that's the been the problem Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: with Trevor Lawrence and Brian Thomas Jr. is for two years now, they just Amanda: Two years now, yep. Drew: have a really low catch percentage with each other. And Trevor Lawrence, his big bugaboo, is the outside receiver. He is not produced with outside receivers almost ever. Almost all of his production, his entire career, has been slot receivers. He's just not as good throwing to those outside receivers. for whatever reason he just can't connect with them as well as he can with some of the slot guys. So interesting. Amanda: Yeah, absolutely. All right. Well let's get into some injury notes 'cause we didn't know we've got a a laundry list here of of different injuries from around the league. Drew: Sure do. All right. we're going to go through some of these some of these injuries, get some updates, and then we'll talk about some more of them in the matchups as well. Jaden Daniels is gonna out for a while. dislocated that elbow. Caleb Williams, not as bad as initially expected. He is labeled as week to week. He's definitely not gonna play this week. If he does, I would be shocked. and you know it's a hammy. I would expect him to be out for two or three weeks myself. They're not putting him on the IR, which means they think he can come back sooner than missing four games. So we'll see there. Tyson Badgett, the backup to Caleb Williams, is in concussion protocol. So we will more than likely be seeing Case Keenum for the Bears this week. Jackson Dart already talked about that. His season is over. Sam Darnold is returned to practice, limited basis on Wednesday. Seattle still hopes. That he could start, they'll decide by Friday. I'm leaning on the why start him, just let Drew Locke do his thing for another week. Etienne, or A Chan Jr., Travis A Chan Jr. for the Saints. he is dealing with a hamstring injury. He was limited on Wednesday, so another little red flag there for on him. Aaron Jones, knee injury, played through it week two, did not practice Wednesday. Tony Pollard, DNP Wednesday, ankle injury. Tajay Spears, the other running back for Tennessee, DNP Wednesday with ankle soreness. Jalen Warren, shoulder, limited Wednesday. Rico Dowdle, same team, same position. Day to day, did Amanda: So bad. Drew: not practice on Wednesday with a toe injury. Amanda: This one's the worst. Pipeline into the last Drew: JK Dobb Amanda: three. Drew: Den Denver's Denver's running back Amanda: Riding back row. Drew: room. JK Dobbins left the game with a hip injury. He has been practicing, but limited on Wednesday. His backup, RJ Harvey, limited Wednesday after missing week two with a hamstring injury. Third string running back, Jonah Coleman. A lot of people blew a lot of fab and waiver this week. Amanda: Money, money, money. Drew: Guess what? DNP Wednesday with a sprained ankle currently looks like he won't be playing. Amanda: Devastating. Drew: Judarian Jadarian Price limited Wednesday, running back for Seattle. Jonathan Brooks, this is sad. After ace three ACL injuries, he is now out for at least six weeks going on IR with a groin injury. He's gonna undergo surgery. This dude's career is probably over. that's Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: running back for Carolina. Saquon Barkley. Weirdly enough, we still have no update on Saquon Barkley. He had the stinger this weekend. It's a it's a bit of a nerve injury. if you've ever known anybody have a stinger, is Amanda asked what it was this weekend when he got it. And she's like, What's a stinger? You know, I played football, so we had teammates that had stingers and stuff. It's kind of a weird injury that like, unless you're in a contact sport, doesn't really happen. they're weird. I told when she asked about it, I was like, it's it's a really weird injury that like could go away in a day or could last like a week or two, and there's no rhyme or reason to it. So still no update. He was supposed to have an MRI. I have not seen any updates on that either. So keep an eye out for that. He's not practicing. At least we didn't get an update on Wednesday participation. No. It's very odd. Amanda: There's no there's been no updates. Like it's just been very quiet in the Saquon Barkley camp. Drew: Yeah, it's very odd. Brock Bowers trending towards return, thank goodness. Amanda: Maybe. You think he'll actually be back at week three or we're gonna wait for week four. 'Cause I at this point I have him. My heart's just waiting. I'm just I'm not not getting my hopes up. Drew: I think he pl I think he plays this week. His coach is a liar flying liar fat lie face. big fat fat Amanda: Big fat their big fat face. Drew: liar face. so don't listen to a word he says. Amanda: Why don't you use your big fat face? I said that to Drew last night. He took offense to it. Drew: I did. Dallas Goddard. he will miss multiple weeks. They did sign Zach Ertz because apparently their second round rookie tight end just sucks. he's on the IR, so like Eli Stours, so he can't play, but like it's pretty well known that like he's not on the IR for an injury. He was put on the IR with a bunny ears injury because they didn't want to embarrass him by like not letting him play, even though he's a second round. talent. David and Joku for the Chargers was placed on the IR, so he will be out. And it originally was reported that Charlie Kohler, their quote unquote starting tight end, was gonna go to the IR. He's not gonna go on the IR right now, so it's just he's just not gonna play right now. So Ronda Gadston is still a pickup to play situation. It's just may not be for as long as what it previously was thought. Terrence Ferguson Limited Wednesday tight end for the Charger or no tight end for the Rams. Amanda: Rams. Drew: he is one that if he plays and is good to go and Puka does not, he's a good play. If Puka's Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: there, don't don't play him. Chigaconquo missed week two coming back to limited practice. I don't care. Shouldn't be on a roster Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: this point with with Marcus Mariota taking over. All right, now to the receivers. Told you it was a long list. We've got Puka Nakua trending negatively to play in week three. So start making plans now. Nico Collins, Amanda: Pooka pooka. Drew: DNP Wednesday, likely out again. I did mention this last week and on Tuesday's show that I don't think he'll play week three. Zay Flowers, DNP Wednesday. For those of you that don't know, DNP is did not practice. I guess I didn't say that earlier, but DNP is did not practice. coach says he has a good shot to play, but practice. Basically, I don't think he's gonna practice all week because it's a hammy. I still think he plays in Brazil this weekend. So we'll see. Mike Evans, DNP Wednesday. The just monitor it. He this is gonna be a lot of the season. He's gonna get Amanda: Yeah. Drew: a little banged up during the game. He's not gonna practice. Just really watch the reports going into Sunday to see if you need to change. Jaden Reed, obviously we know he's out with that neck injury. Alec Pierce, IR, he's out. I think you can go ahead and drop Alex Pier Alec Pierce. I don't think he's Amanda: I do too. Drew: unless you unless you have an IR spot and you have no one else that you need to put on it, you can just drop Alec Pierce. I even if he comes back, I don't think he's gonna be able to do much. Malik Pra Malik Neighbors Limited, we told you about the shoulder injury. DJ Moore's day to day with the AC joint sprain. he is practicing but in a non contact jersey. So Chance he plays this week, which would be good because Keon Coleman did not practice Wednesday with an ankle injury. Same team, same position again. Michael Pittman Jr. missed week two. Coach remains uncertain if he will play week three. I don't care if he plays. Aaron Rodgers basically Amanda: Do we really care? Do we have do we really care? Drew: seems to hate the dude, so I don't care. Jalen Coker, limited Wednesday, he's gonna play. Jacoby Myers, I don't care whether he plays. And Cooper Cup. Limited Wednesday with a back injury until Darnold comes back. I also don't care that Cup is hurt. That is the injuries, and that was a lot. Amanda: take a deep breath. Take a sip of water, Drew, after you just crushed all the injuries. Drew: Worst part was worst part was like we eliminated a lot of names off this list because we obviously we just want to go over the people that we think are relevant. That's a lot of relevant players. Amanda: Yeah, absolutely. All right. Well, let's get into meat and potatoes of our episode. We're gonna talk matchups, week three matchups, everything you need to know, who we're sitting, who we're starting, and all the contextual information you need to make the best roster adjustments possible. So we're gonna kick it off with our Thursday night game. We have Atlanta Falcons versus the Green Bay Packers. The betting line has Green Bay favored by five and a half, and the over-under is set at forty-three point five. We also know we have some quarterback changes for the Falcons. So goodbye, not unproductive, keep it rush. And hello, maybe better, Michael Penix Jr. So let's get into what'd you say? No. No, no, no, no, no. Drew: Can't imagine that he's w any worse. I don't think you can be I don't he can't be worse. He can't be. Amanda: No. I mean, you hope not. But you're no-brainers. Obviously, you're you're throwing B. John Robinson into your lineup no matter what. And in my opinion, you are going to trust the plot and throw Drake London in. I know it was scary for a couple weeks, but this is going to be. Again, like Drew said, no brainer better production than what we were getting before. You're not gonna sit this man now. He's got way too much potential. Drew: He he's he's too good and he was drafted too high not to play him. So you're here's where I do the split, right? So the two players on Atlanta that everybody's been freaking out about has been Drake London and Kyle Pitts. I'm playing London. I'm not playing Pitts because I wanna see it with Pitts. I Amanda: Same. Mm-hmm. Drew: don't you don't you're just not afforded the luxury to see it with London. You just gotta play him. He was a first or second round pick. Like you just gotta you gotta play him. And I and I he should have a productive week this week. So that's it for Atlanta. I don't mess with anything else. Amanda: Nope, me either. And then for the Green Bay side, I think your only true lock and loaded situation is Christian Watson. And in my opinion, and Matthew Golden. Okay. Drew: And Matthew Golden. And Matthew Golden. Yeah. Amanda: How about Tuckercraft? Are we locking the load? We we saw his production or snap count go from sixty six to ninety eight percent. This is a lock and load, right? Okay, good. That's my thoughts too, is like we're not Drew: Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Look, he had an off season knee surgery or he had he got hurt last year had a knee surgery. He he's Amanda: A C L. Yeah. Drew: he's coming back and he's still moving into playing more. He just also the matchups weren't great. George Kittle didn't have a good week one. You know why he had a good week two? 'Cause he had a one bomb catch and a touchdown. That that that can ha I I believe that Tucker Kraft will have a big week this week. so yes, Watson Goldencraft. You're throwing them in your lineup, their their Amanda: Any Drew: auto starts. Amanda: golden, do you think anything like Josh Downs, DK Metcalf, Debo, you're not starting any of those guys over golden? Drew: No, I'm playing Matthew Golden probably over all them. Matthew Golden should just be in lineups. I don't even think it's a decision. Yeah, Amanda: Okay. Okay. Drew: he sh he should be a top fifty player this week. I don't even think we're he look he's he's Amanda: We like the take the guesswork out. Drew: yeah, I you're just Matthew Golden should be in lineups. He's got his snap share's up, the target shares up. He just needs to be played. Amanda: Marshawn Lloyd. Drew: I don't love it. Amanda: Me either. Drew: I don't think it's a great play, but with all the injuries out there, I I don't know how you sit him. Amanda: How about if you had to decide between Lloyd or Rashad White? They play Seattle. Drew: Probably Marshawn Lloyd. Amanda: Okay, Judarian Price. Drew: Probably Marshawn Lloyd. Amanda: And Woody Marks against Indiana. Indianapolis. I call them Indiana. It's fat. Drew: probably Woody Marks in that situation. Again, I I I I I yeah, Amanda: Okay. I see I put probably throw White in over Lloyd but and price over Lloyd, but that's me. Drew: I'm not forcing Lloyd in my lineup by any means. It's it's not a great play this week. If you can avoid playing him, I would, but like there's a lot of injuries out there. Amanda: If you're desperate. Yeah. Drew: Yeah, there's a lot of injuries out there. So and then Jordan Love, I think, can be played this week. I think that's a pretty decent matchup. Amanda: Give me some quarterback options for Jordan Love then. Jordan Love over Bryce Young or Tyler Shuck. Some big waiver wires. Interesting. Yeah. Yes. Drew: Jordan Love over Bryce Young, yes. over Bo Nicks, over Drake May. Over Trevor Lawrence. Amanda: Interesting, interesting. Drew: Yeah, I'd I I would play Jor I would play Jordan Love this week. Amanda: Okay. Jordan Love, Kyler Murray. Jordan Love. Okay. Had to throw it out there. I've got so many Kyler Murray questions. All right, let's go. Kyler. Yeah. All right. Chargers versus the Buffalo Bills. shit. You know what? We've been forgetting the defenses, Drew: Jordan Love. Yeah, I don't even know why you would ask that. Kyler Murray. No. Ky who they play? Tampa? No. I no. No. Jordan Love. defense. Yep. Don't forget. Amanda: and we will not forget the defenses anymore. I think the Green Bay Packers are a potential streaming defense option. Drew: I think the Packers are a good defensive option this week. I think it's probably a a top ten defense to play this week. It's against Michael Penix, yes, it's a different quarterback, but like he has not looked good in his career. So I think that's a good defense to play. Amanda: When's the last time he played in the in in an NFL game, too? It's been a while. Drew: Last year. Amanda: Okay. All right, Chargers versus Buffalo Bills. We have the betting line with Buffalo favored by seven points and the over and under set at forty six. This is the stream of extremely tough matchups for the O and two Los Angeles Chargers. all right, for the Chargers side of the football, I think O'Marian Hampton and Ladd McConkey are our only two starts of the week. Drew: Yeah, those two are in for sure. I'm still not giving up on Quentin Johnston yet, but I do understand not wanting to play him. Amanda: I'm sitting his ass on the bench though. Drew: Yeah, yeah, I'm fine with that. It's a good matchup. The Bills have given up a a good amount of passing yards. So like it's not a great defense. I think Justin Herbert's gonna have to throw the ball a lot this week because they're also gonna have to try to keep up with the Bills because the Bills Amanda: Keep up. Yep, I get it. Drew: are going to score. So think Detroit last week, right? Like, they're gonna have to score. So sneaky play, real boomer bust, I think Quentin Johnson can be played. If you're Amanda: You need to have a steel stomach for that bullshit. Drew: Yeah, i if you're if you're projected to lose by twenty plus points and you need somebody that has a chance to score two touchdowns, that's could be Quentin Johnston this week. Amanda: And the prince, Aronda Gaston. Y I think he's a good streaming streaming option this week. Drew: He's a possibility this week if you if you've got a tight end that's either banged up like that you lost Dallas Goddard, I think you can play him this week. Amanda: Yeah. Mm-hmm. Drew: or if you just got like a really bad matchup, like Jake Ferguson had a good week last week. That's not a good matchup against Baltimore, so I would play Gadston over Ferguson. Amanda: No. Agreed. Drew: Gadston over Loveland. I just wouldn't I wouldn't play him over any of the second tier guys like Laporta, Kittle, Kelsey, Warren, Likely. Schultz even I would play all those guys over Gadston. So it's really just a did you have an injury or do you have Ferguson? Other than that, he's probably on my bench. I think Amanda: Yeah. Or yeah, some other dirt ball. Drew: Justin Herbert is a good streaming quarterback this week. I know I I Amanda: That's disgusting. Drew: I know we just said drop his ass. Think we did say drop we did say drop him on Tuesday. I I think he could be a streaming start against Buffalo. Amanda: We did say drop it like it's hot and you're like, screaming star These hoes ain't loyal, man. What the hell? Drew: Buffalo's defense has looked bad through two weeks. Like they just have. And Buffalo's offense Amanda: Well, they give it up a lot of points, yes. Drew: has looked amazing through two weeks. I think they're going to have to keep up and they're going to have to throw the football. And what happens if this turns into last week's Buffalo Detroit game? How upset are you going to be if Justin Amanda: Yeah Drew: Herbert goes out there and throws for three touchdowns and 300 yards and is the QB Amanda: Pretty pissed. Drew: three on the week? I think it's Amanda: I'm not gonna lie, I think I'm gonna sit on the pissed offness then risk it for the biscuit, but that's just me. Drew: That's fine. We'll see him later in in our bet and our prop bets, so Amanda: Yeah, uhhuh, uhhuh. All right. Easy for the Bills. You're starting Josh Allen, James Cook and Dalton Kincaid are easy lock and loads for this week. Talk to Drew: Yep. Yep. Amanda: me about the if DJ Moore plays, are you playing DJ Moore? Drew: Yes, for sure. Amanda: Yes. Okay. Same here. How about any of our other options? Obviously we know Keon Coleman's dealing with an injury. How about Shakir though? That would be the one other flex option available from the wide receiver room. If DJ Moore doesn't play, I think Shakir is a fine flex option for the week, but if Drew: Yeah. If DJ Moore plays, he's the only receiver. If DJ Moore Amanda: Mm-hmm, I agree. Drew: doesn't play, I think you could play Shakir or Coleman, Amanda: Shakir. Mm-hmm. Drew: depending upon who you have and availability. Amanda: Availability, yeah. Okay. Drew: I'm not real interested in either of the defenses in this one. Amanda: Negative ghostwriter, neither am I. All right. Moving on to the Carolina Panthers versus the Cleveland Browns. they have Carolina Favored at two and a half and the overunder set at forty two point five. some obviously we'll start with the Panthers side here. I think you know, Chuba Hubbard's lock and loaded. Obviously, he's the only back now of now that Brooks is well, not only back, but they A. G. Dillon. But he'll be the more primary back with Jonathan Brooks fully out on IR. Tet McMillan is an easy start this week. Flex option Jalen Drew: Jalen Coker, you start. Amanda: Coker. Yep, he's a star. Would you I mean any options of like Coker, Vele? We went down that rabbit hole last week. Vele plays Las Vegas. Their pass rush is pretty good from Vegas, aren't isn't it? Drew: Say that one more time. Amanda: the pass pass rush is pretty good for Vegas. They we've seen quarterbacks have hard time. Okay. Drew: yeah, Vegas is a good defense. Yeah. Amanda: So you'd go Coker over Vele. Drew: This week, yeah. Amanda: Okay, how about Josh Downs Vale? Drew: Vale. Amanda: I'm sorry, Josh Downs, Coker, not Vale. Drew: Coker. Amanda: Coker. Okay. even with Alec Pierce out, Josh Downs getting going to obviously get more usage as a byproduct of that. I mean, they play Houston, so I guess that's the biggest concern. Drew: I answered. Amanda: Okay. All right. How about Darren Waller? Any options from a tight end standpoint here? Are we talking Waller or Gadston? That's the the tier. Drew: I would yeah, I would play I'd play Gadsden probably. look d yeah, I don't know. Darren Waller they're in this exact same look, Amanda: Yep, it's a hard one. Drew: I yeah, but like you're a who's got Gadsden and Waller? Almost nobody because they had a tight end. So I'm not really deciding Amanda: No, no. All right. Drew: between those two. A better question would be Jake Ferguson or Darren Waller. Or Amanda: Darren Waller. Drew: yeah, then I would play Darren Waller as well. So like Those are really the questions that that you're really looking at. Other cause you would have had to pick up Waller and Gadston both this week and like nobody's burning two waiver priorities on two tight ends. Amanda: Yeah. how about Bryce Young? That was a big streaming or a big weaver wire pickup from a quarterback standpoint. How do you feel about him against the Browns defense? Drew: He's playing really well, so I think it could work out Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: pretty well. I think he's a good stream. The issue there is who are you playing him over? Are you playing him over Matt Stafford? Who plays Denver? Amanda: Good lord Yes. Drew: Okay. Are you playing him over Drake May versus Jacksonville? Amanda: Yes. Drew: Are you playing him over Trevor Lawrence versus New England? Amanda: Potentially. no, I'm probably Drew: Justin Herbert. Amanda: I'd play him over Herbert. Drew: Wild. Amanda: Yeah, I know. Fuck it. Cleveland Browns. Drew: All right. that's it for the that's it for the Panthers. The Browns, don't chase Deshaun Watson. Just let it be. Quinshaw Amanda: Ew. Drew: Judkins, you're gonna play him. Denzel Boston, I think that he to me is a weekly start until proven otherwise at this point. Do you agree? Amanda: How about Yes, I and I'm scared. Like yes, and I'm nervous about it because the quarterback situation Drew: Why? Amanda: makes me nervous. But what about like Boston or Wicks? Drew: Boston. You're talking about the number one target on one team versus the number two Amanda: see I'm yeah. I know it. Drew: target. Amanda: I know I I I hear ya. Drew: It's n it's not even like Wicks is on a good offense or a high powered throwing offense. Like the Eagles offense looks terrible. And Jalen Hur Amanda: I'm just worried that Deshaun Watson is gonna implode and be an absolute shit storm. Drew: what did Jalen Hurts do last week? Amanda: I'm just saying I have more trust in Jalen Hurts and Deshaun Watson being consistent. Drew: Deshaun Watson had the best quarterback rating of any quarterback last week. Amanda: I don't give a fuck about one week though. Like i we've seen what did he do the first week? Drew: There's been two weeks in the season. Amanda: What did he do the first week? Implode. He Drew: They w got their chit kicked in. Amanda: imploded. You think that's gonna be consistent? You think he's gonna continue to be a good quarterback rating? Rating. Drew: Denzel Boston still scored in week one though. So I'm Amanda: Whatever. Drew: not talking about playing Deshaun Watson. I'm talking about playing Denzel Boston. So Amanda: I I know that. I'm still not hot on Dental Watson, so. Drew: yeah, but you're picking like a d what has Hertz done that's been so impressive through two weeks? Almost lose to the Tennessee Titans? Amanda: I just think I can rely on him more consistently than I can on Deshaun Watson. Simple as that. no you're not. I'm not I'm I'm hearing you. I'm not I'm not not hearing you. Drew: I'm not saying play Watson over Hertz. I'm saying playing Boston over Dontavian Wicks. Amanda: Yeah, okay, cool. Drew: Yeah, it's not even close. Denzel Boston should be a weekly starter until proven otherwise. Harold Amanda: And hair to fanning. Drew: Fannon Jr. can be put back in lineups, in my opinion. Amanda: Yeah, I don't disagree with you on that. And streaming defense Panthers? Mm-hmm. Me too. Why do you think Panthers can Drew: All right. yeah, I think Panthers can be played. now Amanda: be played? Drew: they've they've looked great for two weeks, and you always have the ability for Deshaun Watson to throw interceptions or to fumble the football, Amanda: cool. Drew: which doesn't matter for Denzel Boston. Like I'm I'm not saying play Denzel Boston. Yeah, but Amanda: I just wanted that on the record, to be honest. I just needed you to like, you know, put that on the record. Drew: again, you're you're you're confusing Deshaun with Denzel Boston. Amanda: No, I'm not. You are. I'm not. I'm not. I'm saying that Deshaun does directly Drew: Deshaun had a terrible week one. What did Dentel Boston do? Amanda: impact how Denzel Boston can or cannot perform because if he cannot get the ball, because if the offense is on and off the field every two point five seconds because Deshaun Watson decided to implode that day, it will impact Denzel Boston. Period. Moving Drew: Sure. Buy that so bu okay. Amanda: on. Drew: No, no, no. I'm gonna ask you another question here. Malik Neighbors or Dontavian Wicks? Exactly. It's the exact same argument. Jameis Winston's gonna turn the ball over, but you're still okay with the number one receiver on that team. And I'm not comparing Denzel Boston and Amanda: Yeah. Can I be honest? I just Drew: neighbors from being the same, you know, skill level, Amanda: No no, I get that. Drew: but like your argument is ridiculous that a receiver can't have value because the quarterback might fumble the football when he's proven it. This isn't Cooper Rush, all right? Yeah. Amanda: Your face is ridiculous. Okay, moving on. New York Jets versus the Detroit Lions. They have the betting line set at Detroit favored by six and a half. The overunder is 48. Drew: Delicious. Amanda: yeah. So the Jets, I think Bryce Hall and Brees Hall, hello, Brees Hall and Garrett Wilson are easy starts for the week. I don't think Drew: Ad Nye Mitchell. Amanda: Adonai Mitchell's out of the question. Yeah. I think he's a an Yeah. Drew: I think Adonai Mitchell should be in lineups this week. Amanda: Okay, so then Adam I Mitchell or Drew: Detroit cannot play defense right now. Amanda: Ad Adam I Mitchell or Boston. Drew: I th would probably play Boston if I had to choose between them, but it's really, really close. I think both Amanda: Okay. Okay. Drew: of them should be in lineups though. Amanda: Yeah. The Detroit Lions defense has looked abysmal, so Drew: Yeah, if I'm looking at so let me look at these real quick and get some other names other than the one name you're trying to get me to say. Amanda: It's more fun that way. Drew: Like I'm playing Adnai Mitchell over Romeo Dobbs, who Amanda: How about like Coker Vele golden? Drew: Coker and Coker should be in lineups. Amanda: Okay. Drew: Vele should be in lineups. who is the other name you said? Amanda: Golden. Drew: Golden should be in line ups. Like these are all guys that should be in lineups every week. Like I don't I don't Amanda: Jamison Williams, Adonai Mitchell. Drew: A D Mitchell, actually, I think. Amanda: Okay, okay. Drew: let's th some other names that people would really be deciding between Cortland Sutton. Amanda: Stefan Diggs, Cortland Sutton, yeah. Drew: Corlin Sutton. Amanda: Did you say something? Drew: Yeah, Cortland Sutton. Amanda: over I I'm sorry, you cut out. Drew: AD Mitchell. AD Mitchell or Courtland Sutton? Amanda: Court or A. Mitchell. Drew: Okay, A.D. Mitchell or any Buffalo receiver. Okay. Amanda: Eddie Mitchell. Drew: So these are like the decision like again, Coker Amanda: Well, any Buffalo receiver Drew: Coker no longer is a do I play him or not play him. Coker is a you play every week until proven that you don't need to play him. I want to look at guys like Cortland Sutton and Jordan Addison and guys that you're gonna have both of them and you've gotta decide, do I play this player or do I p play this guy that I just picked up off of waivers. Colton Sutton's been on teams. Do I play Carnell Tate or Adonai Mitchell? Amanda: Yeah, I don't know a tool right Drew: Yeah. So these are all the guys that you're playing over. Like you're gonna play Vele, you're gonna Coker, you're gonna like all these guys have proven that they should be in your lineup every week. Amanda: Yeah, but I still think a lot of people have both of these players on their team and could potentially have both these players on their team. So I'm just giving options for Drew: i if they had like the number one or two waiver priority for two or three weeks in a row, I guess. But again Amanda: Or no one's using waiver wires and they happen to snag a couple of these guys. It's not outta the question by any means. Drew: Yeah, I I g I guess. Amanda: All right. Jared Goff, how do you feel about him as a streaming start this week? Drew: Yeah, great play. Amanda: All right. Jameer Gibbs easy play. Amin Ra, easy play, and Sam Laporta, easy plays kind of not hot on Jamison Williams making the lineup this week. Drew: Not a good matchup. Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: Again, I think it goes back down to what I said before is do you do you need a boomer bust guy or not, right? If you're projected to basically be even with the other team and you've got a safer player, I'm probably playing the safer player. So like if I have Jameson Williams or I was gonna say DK Metcalf, but that's not a safe player at all. Matthew Golden, I would play Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: over him. I would play Vele over him because I think that's a safer floor. I think I play I play Michael Wilson over him because I think it's a safer floor. So these Amanda: Like Rasheed Rice. Drew: man, I just Rasheed Rice looks so bad. They play Miami. What did he play? What did he do list last week? Amanda: It's a very, very bad decision making process there. Yeah, they do. Not a lot of anything. Drew: She rice, let's see, they were probably prime time again, 'cause they always are. Amanda: Four for six, eighty three yards. Drew: I play Rasheed Rice if I need a floor. If I need a ceiling, I play Jameson Williams. Amanda: Okay. All right. Moving into Houston versus the Indianapolis Oop. shit. No. Drew: defenses I don't think you can play either of those two defenses. It's Amanda: That's why I didn't I didn't even have it. I was like, nope, we didn't even make notes on it because I didn't think either one were Drew: Yeah, I don't I don't think you can play either of those two. yep, so Amanda: Cool. All right. Houston Texans versus the Indianapolis Colts. Betting line has Houston favorite at two and a half and the overunder set at forty three point five. The poor Colts can't catch a fucking break, man. we have goodness gracious, you know, the whole Texans team is a cluster for me. I think Schultz is an easy start. Montgomery is a start in my opinion as well. Is there anyone outside of obviously Nico Collins if he plays, you play him? Is there any other wide receiver you would consider putting in a lineup this week with the other options that we already talked about? Okay, neither. Drew: Absolutely not. Amanda: Absolutely not. do you Drew: I think Woody Marks is a is a p is a flex Amanda: A flex. Drew: play or a fill in for an injured running back play. I he's getting fifty percent of the work. it just neither one of them were productive last week. But also like an saying that Montgomery is an auto start and not also looking at Woody is wild because they're not only splitting the snap share, but they're kind of splitting work as well. Amanda: No, it's kind of like even Swift and Manungay at this point, they're both of them are considered like they're not you know, yes, Swift, you start, but Menungay you can start too. It's it's very Drew: Ye yeah, I this is much more fifty fifty than that is. Swift is by far the lead back in in Chicago. Woody Marks and Monty have literally split snap shares. So I think you can play both of them this week. I think your just upside of touchdowns is probably higher with Monty. Amanda: For sure. How about CJ Stroud? I've had so many questions about him as a potential streaming quarterback. Okay, Drew: No. No. Amanda: so then who are you like in that tier of desperate? You had no options for quarterback as Jackson Dart went down. Who are you starting over as CJ Stroud then? Kyler Murray? Okay. Drew: Bryce Young, if you Bryce Young. let's see. Who other let's assume that you had Jackson Dart and you just had to pick up off of waivers. Bryce Young, if he was available, I'd play him over him. Jordan Love, if he was on waivers, you could pick him up and play him. Purdy if Amanda: Okay, 'cause I was gonna say there was like Drew: Purdy's on waivers, he definitely snack him, but I doubt he's still on waivers. Amanda: No, like in my in my league, right, if that was a situation I was in, the only option I would have had at that point is Jordan Love. Other than that, it's you're in the depths of hell. Drew: Jordan Love. I would have played Jordan Love. I I I'm telling you what, I think I would play Geno Smith over CJ Stroud. Amanda: Okay. All right. That's what I wanted to know some context of like are you gonna go down that Drew: Yeah. Amanda: route? But I just don't see CJ Stroud as someone who can be as valuable as we want him to be. They they're having trouble scoring. obviously Nico Collins out as well. Drew: Yeah, and it's his fault. Their offensive line is bad, and I just don't think CJ Stroud is a very good quarterback. I think I think he can be a good quarterback if you've got a great offensive line and he can sit back in the pocket and throw to open receivers. And that's Amanda: Yeah. All right. Drew: just not gonna happen. yep. Amanda: Okay. To the Colts. easy. Jonathan Taylor, Josh Downs, Tyler Warren. Cool. and Houston defense, Houston. Drew: Yep, that's it. And move on. Defense. Houston defense. I think you can play them this week. Amanda: Fur shizzle. All right. New England Patriots versus the Jacksonville Jaguars. They have Jacksonville favored at three and the over-under set at forty-five and a half. we've already kind of talked about Drake May a little bit here and we do feel like you have better streaming options outside of Drake May and really until AJ Brown comes back, not sure how valuable Drew: Mm-hmm. Amanda: Drake May is going to be on your fantasy football team, which is upsetting. Trayvon Henderson, start. Ramondre Stevenson. What are your thoughts? Drew: Yeah, I think you can still play him. Amanda: I agree. how about any of the wide receivers? I'm out on all of them. It's a potpourri of roulette I don't want to bet on. And I'm not taking a shot on Hunter Henry. Drew: That that that that's that's it for New England. Amanda: Correct. Jacksonville Jaguars, we have Bysh Tutin is an easy start. Parker Washington is an easy start. Those are the only two guys I'm firmly locking in. Trevor Lawrence Drew: It's a really tough matchup for Trevor Lawrence. Amanda: It is. Drew: What other options are you gonna have that you like better? Which probably nobody that you also have Trevor Lawrence with. So I think you're probably just firing him up and playing him. I think he's probably Q Amanda: The only thing is Drew: B twelve this week. Amanda: Yeah, the only thing is if this week you happen to to snag a like a a Young or a Shuck because you did get worried about Trevor Lawrence and you're like, I'd love to have someone else in my back pocket. I think either of those guys could be played ahead of Trevor Lawrence this week. Drew: I disagree. Amanda: E for who? Drew: Both. Amanda: You think Trevor Lawrence goes ahead of Young and Shuck? Okay. Drew: I think so. They both play I think I think it's Amanda: I think Drew: a toss up between all three of honestly. But Amanda: I mean yeah, okay. I think that Young would be an easier decision for me this week over but yeah. All right, cool. Drew: Okay. All right. Parker Washington, obviously. Amanda: yes, that's an easy I already said he's an auto for me and defensively yeah, no Jacksonville Jaguar's defense. Drew: I think that's it. Defensively, I think you could play don't know if I want to play either one. Amanda: I mean I think both defenses could potentially be an option, but I don't think you really need it. Drew: Yeah, I I I don't think you would need to play either one of So let's move on to Kansas City versus Miami. Kansas City is an eleven and a half point favorite, and the overunder is forty six points. Patrick Mahomes, weekly starter at this point, he is officially back. Kenneth Walker, you can start him up. I believe you can start Rasheed Rice. You're starting Travis Kelsey until proven otherwise again. Think the only real question mark for this team is gonna be Emmett Johnson. I think he is a sneaky, injury-dependent flex play this week. But again, this is if if your team is ravaged by injuries at running back, I think you can play Emmett Johnson this week because I think that he'll see a lot more touches this week. If they get up early, against a bad Miami team, I they're not gonna run Kenneth Walker into the ground versus a a shitty Miami team. They're gonna give the ball to Emmett more this week. So I think he has the possibility to get you some points if like let's say you had a a Harvey and you picked up Jonah Coleman and he ends up not playing or and Jadarian Price doesn't play. Like if you really need a play, I think you can play him other than desperately needing it, then I don't I don't think you play him obviously. Amanda: Okay. yeah, Miami the only player you're even considering is A Chan at this point and Drew: Correct. Amanda: also understanding that the Kansas City defense is pretty good. So lower your expectations and hope for the best. Drew: Yeah, I and it's it's Devon A Chan anyway, so lower your expectations Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: for the whole season, like I told you before the season, and Amanda just won't admit. Kansas City defense is a massive play. Yep. Amanda: Anyways, I think the defense is a great. Yeah, absolutely. All right, Tennessee Titans versus the New York Giants. Betting line has the New York Giants favored at three and the over underset at 40.5. there's the Tennessee Titans. Is there anyone worth like let's say Pollard Spears, and is there any world if let's say in a perfect world, they're both end up healthy? Drew: I don't play either. Amanda: Okay, me either. How about like let's go back to your Emma Johnson conversation if you have Pollard or Spears and you're like, Well, I just heard Drew say maybe Johnson's a consideration. Are you playing Pollard or Spears ahead of Johnson? Okay. Just wanted to be clear. Drew: Yes. Yeah, one's a s yeah, I i yes. I would play Pollard over one's a starting running back and one is not Amanda: Want to start, like these are starting running backs, yes. Okay. Drew: that we don't know like what if Kansas City and Miami isn't a blowout, Emmett Johnson's not going to receive Amanda: Maybe it's a brawl. No. Drew: a bunch of work. So but again, especially if Pollard or Spears is by themselves. If Pollard or Spears Amanda: Yes, yes. Drew: is by themselves, I think they're good starts. So Amanda: And Pollard's getting fifty five percent of the snap count. Spears only saw thirty si six percent. So, like if I had to pick one, I'm picking Pollard over Spears. But yeah, yeah. Drew: Well, sure, he's the starter, but yeah, if one of them is out then the other one is is just a straight up good play, in my opinion. Amanda: Yeah, absolutely. All right. For the New York Giants, Cam Scattaboo, Malik Neighbors if he plays, Isaiah Likely as well. That's the the list that ends there. All right. Cincinnati Bengals versus the hard to watch Pittsburgh Steelers. We have the Betty Line set at six and Cincinnati favorite at three and a half and the over under set at in fucking Pittsburgh. I I don't know. Drew: On the road. When's the last time Pittsburgh was the underdog at home? Amanda: It's so bad. Like I'm a I'm a di I I'm been a Pittsburgh fan for my whole life. My aunt is like a super fan. and the it's just this is hard to watch. It's it's it's uninspiring. Drew: Been hard to watch for years. You guys have just gotten away with some crap. Amanda: You know what? You're not wrong. Okay. Joe Burrow, Chase Brown, Jamar Chase, T. Higgins, Locke Lode, and we're done with the Cincinnati Bengals after that. for the Pittsburgh Steelers. I have such a hard time saying not to play DK Metcalf because he's had nineteen targets over two games, an obscene target share. Yes. Drew: I'm still playing him. Yeah, I'm still playing him. Amanda: Like it it just in what world someone getting targeted that heavily, you gotta strike gold sooner later, right? Like Drew: At one point they've gotta connect I so he's on one of my teams and I am still playing him and I will just either be finally happy with him or I will just get more and more angry at him. But either way, I j then I can just blame him for all of my failures. So I'm playing him, and then I'm Amanda: I'm not gonna divorce you, DK. We're just gonna see this through, even if it gets bad. Drew: Yeah. and then if Rico is out, I am cool with Jalen Warren. So especially Amanda: Jalen Warren. Same here. Drew: if he's by himself and gets all the work, because it's all gonna be ugly work, but at least it'll all be by himself. Amanda: True. Drew: I also think that Cincinnati's defense is a decent streaming Amanda: Defense is a good streaming defense option. Drew: defense this week. And yeah, i it's the Steelers defense, so you can kinda always play them, but I Amanda: Always dream them. I you what, I'm playing them somewhere. I'm going for it. Drew: I don't want to play them against Cincinnati. Amanda: No, I mean you we just watched Jamar Chase do unspeakable things catching a football. So all right, Seattle Seahawks Drew: All right. Seattle Amanda: versus the Commanders. We have the betting line set at Seattle favored by seven and the overunder set at forty point five. obviously Seattle JSN and potentially Jadarian Price are the only two people you're look at looking at here for the Seattle Seahawks. and then the Commanders Stefan Diggs. Drew: I think I think actually I think Drew Locke could be one of those guys that you could play if you lost Amanda: yes, yes, yes. Drew: if I okay, either Drew Locke or Sam Darnold, whoever starts, I think you Amanda: I agree. Drew: c I think you can stream them this week over you know, if you had Jackson Dart and need an an injured guy or have a line up or have a matchup that you don't love. like I would play either of those two over Bryce Young, myself, Kirk sc sorry, Bonex, Baker Mayfield, Kyler Murray, like I would play Locker Darnold over all of those guys. Amanda: Yeah. and I know you had mentioned like G of absolute despair decision of Geno Smith, but I would very much do Drew Locke or Sam Darnold ahead of Geno Smith by every stretch of the imagination. Drew: yes. Yes. Absolutely. Amanda: for the Commanders, how do you feel about JCM Rashad White and their Drew: sucks. Amanda: yeah, mm hmm. Drew: I don't want to play any commander's running back. Amanda: If I had to, I'd play Rashad White ahead of JCM though. Drew: It's fine. I don't want to play any Amanda: Yeah. Drew: of them. Amanda: Me either, but if I had to how are you sitting Terry McLaurin? Drew: this week yeah, I'm sitting everyone Amanda: Yes. Drew: on Washington this week. Every single player. Every single player. Yeah. Amanda: Okay. Even Stefan Diggs. Okay. Okay. Drew: I don't like Stephon Diggs or Terry McLaurin this week. They're playing Seattle. So Amanda: Yeah, it's good defense. Drew: like I'm trying to find other options if I can. Amanda: Okay. Arizona Cardinals versus the San Francisco 49ers. shit. Damn it. Okay. So Seattle's easy. Play them. Play them. Drew: defense. Seattle's defense. Seattle's defense, you can easily play them. Mm-hmm. Amanda: all right. Cardinals versus San Francisco 49ers. Betting line set at San Francisco favored by eight and a half. And the overunder is forty seven point five. Michael Wells go ahead. Drew: I'm gonna get this out of the way real quick before we even start. You can play the forty niners defense, just so we don't miss it again. You can definitely play the forty niners defense in this matchup. Amanda: yes, you can play the forty nineers defense. I also think from the Cardinals, obviously Trey McBride and I Michael Wilson i is a fine play as well. Jeremiah Love, yep, Drew: Mm-hmm. And Jeremiah Love. Yep. Amanda: that that's about I mean Tyler Giro, if you're really desperate for a in a running back, it's fine. You're not gonna be, you know, yes, they have a floor, but you're not gonna be. Drew: Your five or six points. Like just Amanda: Yeah, you're not gonna be incredibly disappointed at a zero. San Francisco, Brock Purdy, CMC, Mike Evans if he plays, Debo as well, I think Drew: Mm-hmm. Yep. Amanda: is a good start, and George Kittle. So just basically all your big names you're going in. Agreed. Drew: Yep. I think Debow over those Washington if you know, that's a I would play Debo over them. Amanda: Absolutely. Yeah. I Davis is play, specifically too if Mike Evans does miss time. Minnesota Vikings. Drew: Yeah. It's a pretty easy one. Amanda: Yeah. Minnesota Vikings versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. obviously sorry, betting line. Minnesota favored one and a half. And the overunder is set at forty two point five. The Bucks have looked terrible. so Justin Jefferson is an easy start. Aaron Jones, if he plays, I th you throw him in. Drew: There is major concern there, so Amanda: Correct. So I don't know, yeah. Drew: I if he does not play, l Damond Claiborne is that rookie Amanda: You pick and play. Drew: running back that I think you can pick and play. Amanda: good to I have Aaron Jones somewhere and I'm a little bit nervous so Drew: Yeah, if you if you're the Aaron Jones manager and you don't have a good option on the bench, Damond Claiborne, I think is a good he's a he would be a good pickup and play. Yeah. He's got so he's Amanda: Maud Claiborne. I love a no name. All right, cool beans, cool beans. Drew: got some juice. rookie from Iowa, he's got some juice. He's not seeing much time because his pass protection and some of that stuff has not been great so far, which is pretty typical for rookie running backs. so Yeah, I I think he's a pick and play. JJ, you're playing, you're benching Addison until you see otherwise. Amanda: Yep. Drew: Hawkinson, it's a good matchup this week, but I don't I don't Amanda: I think you have better options. Drew: yeah. I the the one thing to to look for with Hawkinson, how does Kyler Murray play with him? Kyler Murray's used to throwing to Trey McBride, so maybe he looks at the tight end position a little bit more. Amanda: That's true. This is also why I'm waiting on Jordan Addison to see how Kyler Murray targets everyone in that offense. Drew: Yeah, for sure. Amanda: all right, Tampa Bay, I'm Baker can think about his decisions. Bucky, start Drew: Bucky Omeka. Amanda: Omeka, and that's about where it ends and Drew: And that's the entire yeah, Vikings defense is too good. And I also think the Vikings defense is a good play this week. Amanda: Yeah. Good play this week. Absolutely. How about do you have any feelings on the Minnesota Vikings defense against a struggling Buccaneers offense? Drew: That's why I just said Vikings defense. Amanda: You said Buccaneers defense? Drew: Did I? Amanda: Yeah. Drew: Vikings defense you should play. Amanda: Okay. alt control, alt delete. Vikings defense. Yeah. Roll Drew: I'm almost sure I said are you sure I didn't say Vikings defense? Amanda: roll the tape back, baby. Roll the tape back. Yeah, you said Tampa Bay. Yeah, you will when you edit this, so. Drew: If I had the ability to. No, I Vikings defense. We'll see. Amanda: All right. Las Vegas Raiders versus the New Orleans Saints. The betting line has New Orleans favored at three. I fucked it up. Drew: Why is that funny? Amanda: I don't know, because I almost fucked it up. I almost said at negative three. And the over-under is set at 43.5. all right, the Raiders, Ashton Genty and Brock Bowers, if he plays, I'm excited for it, lock and load. Trey Tucker, how do you feel about taking a shot on someone in that caliber in this game, this matchup? Agreed. Would you go down the rabbit hole though of like Drew: Not a good matchup. Yeah, I don't think I don't chase that. Amanda: Sutton Tucker? Sutton plays the Rams. And I think Bo Nicks might get destroyed. Drew: I would try to bench both of them. Amanda: Tate Tucker. BTJ, Tucker. Drew: I would bench both of BTJ. Amanda: Worthy, Tucker. Drew: I sh but neither. Amanda: Wicks, Tucker. Drew: Wicks, I guess, if I had to. Amanda: Fun. okay, cool. Drew: I mean you're picking a lot of people that like I just don't wanna play regardless. Amanda: I know, but like what if we're in a a necessary situation, Drew? Sometimes you gotta make hard decisions, okay? All right. Drew: Then I go get Adnai Mitchell and hope that he's available. Amanda: Throw them in, baby. all right, New Orleans Saints, Chris Olave, Devon Vale, Juwan Johnson. Easy. Drew: Tyler Shuck. Amanda: Tyler Shuck, streaming option, even though you shit on him a little bit. So okay, cool. Drew: No, I didn't. When? Amanda: You said you wouldn't stream him over T Law. Drew: Who is that shitting on him? That's one player. No, I think Amanda: Being catabolic, but Drew: Tyler look it's a tougher defense this week, but I think you can play him. Amanda: ETN or ETN Junior. Drew: If he's healthy, you throw him in the lineup and yeah, pray Amanda: D. Drew: that he gets more than fifty percent of the work. Amanda: Okay, what about like Warren or HM Junior? Drew: that is disgusting. Amanda: I have a couple of gross ones. Drew: if Warren is by himself, I play Warren over HN Jr. Amanda: Stevenson. Drew: we just went over them, right? Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: Who does Jacksonville? Stevenson. Amanda: Okay. Just wanted couple nasty ones to throw out there. All right. And defense. No. Yeah, I did. I did. I did. For the record I did say that. Okay. and I said you want Johnson too? Drew: Olave Vele, we didn't mention that. You can play both of them. Joan Johnson. All right, well, whatever. Joan Johnson. Well, I don't always listen to what you say sometimes. So defense. weirdly enough, I think you can play both? Nah, you know what? Yeah, neither. Yeah, neither. Let's go with neither. Amanda: Or neither. I don't like either of them. Neither. All right. Baltimore Ravens versus the Dallas Cowboys. This is in Brazil. it is at a normal time though. I know obviously sometimes international games can give you like an a good nine AM or which I fuck with a nine AM Eastern Standard Time game. Nothing's better than breakfast and football. But this is at four twenty five. the betting line has Baltimore favorite at three and an over under set at fifty two point five, baby. Lamar Jackson, Derek Henry, Zay Flowers if he plays and if he doesn't, Rashad Bateman. Drew: Mm-hmm. Amanda: And how do you feel about Mark Andrews? Drew: decent option this week. Amanda: Decent option this week. I agree. Drew: Yep, decent option. Pri round right around that tight end ten to twelve marks. So I would say in most leagues he'll probably be fired up. Amanda: Yep. Cowboys, Dak Prescott, Javante Williams, C. D. Lamb, George Pickens. My list ends there. Drew: That is correct. My list ends there as well, and I would not play any of those defenses. Amanda: Negative ghost rider. I would move on from that one. The Rams versus the Broncos could be a a brawl from a defensive battle standpoint. Kyron Williams, Devontae Adams, Puka if he plays. Obviously, if for some reason Terrace Ferguson plays and Puka doesn't play, Terris Ferguson could be a good streaming tight end option this week. Matthew Stafford. Drew: I don't know that I played Terrace Ferguson no matter Amanda: Okay. Would you go like a Rhonda Gadston ahead of Ferguson? Aga agreed. Okay. Drew: Denver's really tough de yeah, I would. Denver's real tough against the tight end position. Amanda: Quorum, is he someone who you can start in flex this week from a running back? And you'd go a quorum again, clearly Drew: He's a guy you can flex every week. Amanda: over like a a Pollard or something like that. Or would you go Drew: Mm-hmm. Amanda: okay? Drew: No, I would play quorum. It's a good offense. Amanda: How w didn't I just give you a nasty ETN, E. H. N. Junior or Quorum? Drew: Mm. N Chan Jr. Amanda: Mm-hmm. I agree. Matthew Stafford, are you sitting him down facing Denver's Bron Denver Broncos defense, or would you take a risk and stream him? And if so, over who? Drew: I would not want to play him, but I would be okay playing him. I it's not the worst matchup. Amanda: Herbert Stafford? Drew: Herbert Stafford Herbert. Herbert's got a better Yeah, I'd play Herbert. I would play Drake May, which you probably don't have both those guys. Tyler I would play ty I would play Tyler Shuck over Stafford this week. I would not play Bo Nicks. Bryce Young, I would not play. No. Amanda: Bubbo, Bobo or Stafford? Okay. Bryce Young? No either. Cleveland? Okay. Okay. for Drew: I still don't trust Bryce Young yet. Amanda: No, because he does catfish us often. Denver Broncos Jalen Waddle. Drew: Yep. Amanda: And J. K. Dobbins if he's the only running back in place. Drew: I don't have Amanda: And terrified. Drew: any idea what's going on in that backfield. I am also just petrified of re injury. Amanda: JK does love to get hurt. Drew: I've got yeah, I I'm probably not trying to play any of the Denver running backs unless one of them is by themselves, but like Amanda: Correct. If JK's alone, I'm I'm gonna I'm gonna take a deep breath in full scent. Yeah, it's a good defense. Drew: If JK's alone you can play him and you just gotta hope that he doesn't get hurt again. But if there's if there's two of them, if there is Dobbins and Harvey, I probably don't play either of them. Amanda: Okay. All right, last game or Drew: Defense. Amanda: both of them. Drew: No, just the Rams. Yeah, I I would not play Denver this week. I would play the Rams though. Y the turnover prone nature of Bo Knicks, that's what you need is turnovers. So yeah. Amanda: Okay. I mean that's fair, but yes, yes, yes. Versus Matt Stafford. Yeah, I get you. Philadelphia Eagles versus the Chicago Bears. Betty Line has Philadelphia favorite at three and a half and the over under set at forty three and a half. for Philadelphia, obviously if Saquon Barkley plays, you play him. Saquon does not play, Tank Bigsby is a fine option. Would you say Will Shipley and Tank Bigsby are a fine option, or would you only play Tank Bigsby? Drew: Mm, probably only Tank Bigsby. Amanda: Okay. Devontae Smith is an easy start and I think you're starting Jalen Hurts if you have him drafted on your team, in my opinion, too. This is also a good matchup. Duntavian Wicks, I I don't think is an is a out option. I think he's a flex option from a wide receiver standpoint. Obviously it's it's roster dependent on who you have, but I think he could be thrown in. for the Chicago Bears, DeAndre Swift, Calmanun guy is an option as well. More of that again, flex desperate running back situation. Drew: Yeah, if you're desperate you can play Monungai, but I also like Amanda: That's it. Yeah. I'm not eager. Drew: No, it's it's a good run defense versus the Eagles and this should be a like the how are they gonna move the ball with Case Keenum compared to Caleb Williams? So like I'm Amanda: It's gonna be bad. Drew: I am swift and out with the rest of the team this week. Amanda: Okay. So if you had to choose like Monungay and J. K. Dobbins with a split backfield with RJ Harvey, who are you picking? J. K. Dobbins. Okay. Cool. Drew: J. K. Dobbins. Yeah. Amanda: yeah, and there's no wide receivers I'm willing to to to play by any means. So Drew: No, not not this week. Not without Caleb Williams being there. Defense again, the Philadelphia Eagles. Good defense. Yep. Amanda: Cool. Absolutely not. damn it. Philadelphia Eagles is a smash up play. Yeah, it's a great option. Honestly, one of those ones that like it just that falls into your lap sometimes. You're like, ooh, that's a good one this week. all right. Well, that's all of our week three matchups. Drew: All right, now to finish off our episode for today, we are gonna do our for better or worse segment, pitting husband versus wife in our weekly prop bet challenge. Last week, unfortunately, I did not win. I went one and two. I had Cam Ward less than 189 and a half yards, which he had 183. So that was the one I got right. Derek Henry, for some unspeakable reason, the Ravens quit giving him the ball in the second half. So he finished with sixty-eight yards and I needed him to have eighty-eight. And Mike Gasicki, I just got that completely wrong. And he had zero receptions and I needed three. So goose egg there. Amanda last week had Devon A. Chan 60 yards or more rushing. He had 74. CeeDee Lamb, 80 plus receiving yards, he had 153. And Matt Collins, four plus receptions, and he finished with two. So she went two and one. I went one and two. That brings our season total two. Three and three for me, and four and two for Amanda. So with Amanda: Winner winner. Drew: that, Amanda. Why don't you kick us off with your prop bets for this week? Amanda: Lord. Okay. I am taking Dak Prescott on the over. So he's over two hundred and sixty four point five passing yards. That is my first call of the week in Brazil, baby. Drew: All right, I have for my first one Justin Herbert over one and a half passing touchdowns. Amanda: Yikes. well, I'm gonna pipeline that with a little ant acid style moment. I'm taking DK over four and a half receptions. We just talked about it. He's got 19 receptions over two weeks. To me, this is a golden Drew: Nineteen targets. Amanda: 19 targets. I'm sorry, not receptions because homie can't catch fuck football, but he's going to this week. And I took him on the over for four and a half receptions. Drew: All right, my second one is Marcus Mariota under one hundred and seventy two and a half passing yards on the week. That is a scary low line, but I just don't have confidence in that team or him. Amanda: Every time you take the under on a quarterback, I just like immediately feel bad for the guy. I'm like, sorry. Drew: Yes, 'cause he feels personally victimized by that. Amanda: Yeah, I I have, you know, empathy at my core and I so I always take the overs if anyone can't. I have Quinchon Judkins over fifty five and a half rushing yards. We've seen teams beat up the Panthers on the ground, and I believe Judkins will do just that this week. Drew: Alrighty, I have Denzel Boston over forty seven and a half receiving yards. Amanda: Look at us both taking a Browns player. Ew. Drew: We are both taking a Browns player, one of us will be right and it'll probably be me. Amanda: Yeah, okay. Drew: I ha I have a fourth one. Did you not have a fourth one? I thought you had a fourth one. Okay. We Amanda: Go ahead. I have one in my head. I do, I do, I do, but now I'm gonna forget it. But I'll I'll get it, I'll get it. Drew: are doing four this week. the fourth one, Emmett Johnson, over thirty-eight and a half rushing and receiving yards combined. So I'm really hoping for a Chiefs blowout. And Emmett Johnson's gonna get a little bit more play this week. Amanda: Yeah, and I am hoping that Kyler Murray spreads the ball around and I'm taking Jordan Addison over receptions for three point five. So over three point five receptions, baby. Drew: Alrighty. That is our prop bet for better or worse this week. Everybody send out the good juju that Drew goes four and and can catch back up. Amanda: Can confidently say that the audience does not want that to happen. Nonetheless, that's all we got for you guys today. that's our week three matchup rundown. Everything you need to know.
