- 0:00Speaker 1: Real baseball. Tonight's Yankees and Giants. It's just one game,
- 0:06Speaker 1: so don't freak out extra craps dancing today. Everything's a
- 0:10Speaker 1: little bit weird today. Should I just get the elephant
- 0:14Speaker 1: out of the room here right away?
- 0:17Speaker 2: What does my nose had to do with anything?
- 0:22Speaker 1: I am wearing my shirt backwards today. I am well
- 0:25Speaker 1: aware of it. It was a conscious decision. It's not
- 0:28Speaker 1: one that everyone would make. I'm doing it for one reason.
- 0:33Speaker 1: I just wanted people to see the back. Nobody ever
- 0:36Speaker 1: gets to see the back. This is the slogan baseball
- 0:40Speaker 1: the way it should be covered, And with the beginning
- 0:43Speaker 1: of the season starting today, it felt like it was
- 0:45Speaker 1: very relevant. It actually pops really nicely on the screen,
- 0:48Speaker 1: don't you think? Yeah, yes, it's really just the neck.
- 0:52Speaker 1: We don't advise you to wear it this way. People
- 0:55Speaker 1: can see behind, but on the show they can't unless
- 0:57Speaker 1: I do a show in what a j would call
- 1:00Speaker 1: timeout mode, where I would be standing against the wall
- 1:04Speaker 1: doing the show foul Territory Shop dot com boom. Here.
- 1:07Speaker 1: It is baseball the way it should be covered. I
- 1:10Speaker 1: just want everyone to see that.
- 1:14Speaker 3: Nice looks good on you.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Thanks, But I'm going to rock at the whole show.
- 1:18Speaker 2: That's fine.
- 1:18Speaker 1: I'm not going to turn it around. If that's okay
- 1:20Speaker 1: with you, guys.
- 1:22Speaker 2: We don't need to see you take it off, that's
- 1:23Speaker 2: for sure.
- 1:24Speaker 1: I wasn't going to do that. I could do the
- 1:27Speaker 1: arms in.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Don't do that.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Not doing it? Yeah, So that's all. If you think
- 1:32Speaker 1: you're the first person to point it out, you are not.
- 1:37Speaker 1: And we have details on the PCA deal from yesterday.
- 1:41Speaker 1: So now let's get final thoughts on that with charge.
- 1:50Speaker 1: All right, AJ, Now that you see the money, six years,
- 1:53Speaker 1: one hundred and fifteen million dollars, there is a really
- 1:56Speaker 1: key component in here that I think you're going to like. Now.
- 1:59Speaker 1: It can mac at one thirty three mil. Cool, the
- 2:02Speaker 1: deal starts next year. It is missing a key component
- 2:06Speaker 1: to almost all of these deals, a club option. He's
- 2:11Speaker 1: gonna hit his free agent season or his free agency
- 2:15Speaker 1: before his age thirty one season. Jeff Passen wrote on
- 2:19Speaker 1: here the lack of a club option in a deal
- 2:21Speaker 1: like this is rare. It's by far the biggest guarantee
- 2:24Speaker 1: for a player with five years of club control remaining
- 2:28Speaker 1: that doesn't include an option. He said the Cubs were
- 2:31Speaker 1: still fine with it. They get a high floor player
- 2:34Speaker 1: with a superstar ceiling.
- 2:37Speaker 3: Yeah, and no, and no opt outs, right or not
- 2:40Speaker 3: that he would opt out because he's arbitration, but no
- 2:42Speaker 3: opt outs either. So I again yesterday when I didn't
- 2:46Speaker 3: understand the part where people were saying this was unusual
- 2:49Speaker 3: and all the stuff. Why because he was a six
- 2:53Speaker 3: to win player, whether of his offense is, he's always
- 2:56Speaker 3: going to have the defense. There was a guy named
- 2:57Speaker 3: Jason Hayward that signed a long term deal with the
- 2:59Speaker 3: Cubs that people said was just for his defense. So
- 3:01Speaker 3: obviously the Cubs value that. And then you get a
- 3:03Speaker 3: guy who loves and who lives, lives and loves Chicago,
- 3:06Speaker 3: is big in Chicago, knows what Chicago's all about, can
- 3:10Speaker 3: play there, has played on the biggest stage. And you
- 3:13Speaker 3: get him for six years one what was it fifteen? Fine,
- 3:16Speaker 3: you cover, You eat up four years of his arbitration,
- 3:18Speaker 3: You eat up two years of his free agency. I
- 3:22Speaker 3: don't see a downside of this. The Cubs said, yes,
- 3:24Speaker 3: we like this player. The PI ker Armstrong said, I
- 3:28Speaker 3: like this city and this organization. They both agreed to
- 3:31Speaker 3: a number and went ahead with it. Could he have
- 3:33Speaker 3: gotten more? Possibly, I don't know, but also, you know what,
- 3:36Speaker 3: maybe he again, maybe he didn't want more, maybe he's
- 3:38Speaker 3: happy with possibly one hundred and thirty whatever seven million.
- 3:41Speaker 3: But I don't I didn't understand that yesterday when if
- 3:44Speaker 3: the team and the player match up and they both
- 3:47Speaker 3: in the player team says man, we really like this player,
- 3:49Speaker 3: and the player says, I really like this team, and
- 3:51Speaker 3: they can get a deal done.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Gippie.
- 3:54Speaker 4: I think part of the unusual part was like he's
- 3:57Speaker 4: you know, are they paying for the defense this early
- 3:59Speaker 4: or are they paying for his first half offense. That's
- 4:03Speaker 4: what I think Ken was talking about when he was
- 4:05Speaker 4: talking about unusual. But this is this is a no
- 4:07Speaker 4: brainer for both sides because of the fact that Pete
- 4:11Speaker 4: Crow probably could.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Have gotten a little bit more.
- 4:13Speaker 4: We don't know what his original last year when they
- 4:17Speaker 4: came to him with an extension was. I think it's
- 4:19Speaker 4: higher based on the numbers that I heard before, it's higher.
- 4:24Speaker 4: But he's also not getting rid of anything that he
- 4:27Speaker 4: wouldn't have gotten rid of anyway, in the sense of
- 4:30Speaker 4: any extra years. He gives away two free agent years,
- 4:33Speaker 4: and on the cub side, he's still on the good
- 4:36Speaker 4: side of thirty like thirty one.
- 4:38Speaker 2: That's fine.
- 4:39Speaker 4: The Cubs are like, okay, if your game is going
- 4:41Speaker 4: to be if the value is going to be predicated
- 4:43Speaker 4: on speed defense, because we don't know what we're getting
- 4:47Speaker 4: with the offense, with all the chase and out of
- 4:49Speaker 4: zone contact that he's making. To me, the Cubs are like, great,
- 4:53Speaker 4: you can go to free agency somewhere else and see
- 4:56Speaker 4: how you age out somewhere else, because to me, the
- 4:59Speaker 4: dude hit thirty. If you're paying, if you're paying less
- 5:02Speaker 4: than twenty million dollars a year for a guy that
- 5:05Speaker 4: hit thirty homers and played the best, if not top
- 5:09Speaker 4: two or three best defensive center fielders in the game, like,
- 5:14Speaker 4: this is a win, This is a win win for everybody. Hey,
- 5:18Speaker 4: if you hit the age where everything feels a little
- 5:20Speaker 4: bit more difficult, the jem yes, but everything like energy
- 5:25Speaker 4: crashes in the afternoon.
- 5:28Speaker 1: You know, you might have been reading about low T
- 5:31Speaker 1: and you see your doctor about it and they want
- 5:34Speaker 1: to give you basically shots every week for the rest
- 5:37Speaker 1: of your life. Oh cool, that sounds fun. And then
- 5:39Speaker 1: you dig deeper and you realize what you're signing up for,
- 5:42Speaker 1: and it's three grand a year to shut down your
- 5:44Speaker 1: body's natural production forever. That is brutal.
- 5:47Speaker 4: Mars Men gives you the same benefits of optimized testosterone energy, strength,
- 5:52Speaker 4: focus without shutting your body down. No synthetics, no needles,
- 5:55Speaker 4: no dependencies. It's like hitting the reset button on your
- 5:58Speaker 4: hormone factory instead of shut it down.
- 6:01Speaker 1: For a limited time. Our listeners get fifty percent off
- 6:03Speaker 1: for life, plus free shipping and three free gifts. That
- 6:06Speaker 1: men go to Mars dot com. That's men go to
- 6:09Speaker 1: Mars dot com for fifty percent off and three free
- 6:12Speaker 1: gifts when you check out. After you purchase, they're going
- 6:14Speaker 1: to ask you where you heard about them. Please support
- 6:17Speaker 1: our show and tell them we sent you. Pikar Armstrong
- 6:21Speaker 1: could be a superstar if we see the first half
- 6:23Speaker 1: version of him from last year over a longer period
- 6:26Speaker 1: of time. But the floor is really high, like I
- 6:29Speaker 1: just mentioned, and there is a chance aj that he
- 6:34Speaker 1: gets determined in the legs guy category. I don't know
- 6:37Speaker 1: if you've ever heard that term. It's like the Michael
- 6:41Speaker 1: Bourns of the world, where the guys.
- 6:44Speaker 3: That's not even, that's that's you can't even, that's not
- 6:47Speaker 3: even Pek Armstrong went thirty thirty last year. Michael Bourne
- 6:50Speaker 3: never came close to any thirty home runs. I understand
- 6:52Speaker 3: that's not even a comparison.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Size, or that.
- 6:57Speaker 1: There are a number of players that were so good
- 7:01Speaker 1: with their legs, running, playing defense that you want to
- 7:06Speaker 1: take advantage of that player during the prime years of
- 7:09Speaker 1: his career. I'm not saying Pete' that. My point is
- 7:13Speaker 1: that for the Cubs, aj if that ended up being
- 7:16Speaker 1: the case, and the second half bat of Pete Kurr
- 7:19Speaker 1: Armstrong's sub average bat ended up playing out over the
- 7:24Speaker 1: course of this contract, the Cubs are still in good shape.
- 7:27Speaker 1: The thing with a quote legs guys, you don't want
- 7:29Speaker 1: them getting into their thirties. On average, those guys tend
- 7:33Speaker 1: to fall off. I'm not saying he's that. My point
- 7:36Speaker 1: is the Cubs have in my mind, the Cubs have
- 7:38Speaker 1: almost no risk here.
- 7:41Speaker 3: Agreed. That's why I don't understand why people so were
- 7:43Speaker 3: people questioning the Cubs signing this or PCA signing this
- 7:45Speaker 3: because PCA you say, could he have gotten more? He
- 7:48Speaker 3: could have, But I mean it's still pretty good at
- 7:51Speaker 3: twenty what is he twenty four, twenty five? He's gonna
- 7:55Speaker 3: be twenty five and he's gonna get one hundred and
- 7:56Speaker 3: twenty million I mean one hundred and fifteen million guaranteed
- 7:59Speaker 3: in the bank. That's nice, and he knows where he's
- 8:01Speaker 3: probably gonna be. I don't know if there's no trade.
- 8:03Speaker 3: We didn't get all that, but fine, he's a good
- 8:05Speaker 3: idea what he's gonna make. And for the Cubs, if
- 8:07Speaker 3: they like the player, let the Cubs. We criticized the
- 8:10Speaker 3: Cubs all the time for not spending, they go out
- 8:12Speaker 3: sign and now we're saying, man, why'd they sign this
- 8:13Speaker 3: guy if he's a leg No, Like, they like the player,
- 8:16Speaker 3: let him go sign. Good for the Cubs.
- 8:18Speaker 1: I'll tell you who doesn't like it, trolls. And also,
- 8:23Speaker 1: any agent's always gonna throw in their two cents, not
- 8:27Speaker 1: publicly but behind the scenes, like, oh, he could have
- 8:31Speaker 1: gotten more if he waited it out. And then you
- 8:34Speaker 1: have fans that are gonna pick through any player, especially
- 8:37Speaker 1: if they're not a fan of the Cubs. That's the
- 8:40Speaker 1: common I brought up yesterday to you where someone's like, oh,
- 8:43Speaker 1: this guy is just Michael Harris, and like, uh, even
- 8:46Speaker 1: if he is michaelass, it's still worth it. The deal's
- 8:50Speaker 1: still worth it. So yeah, we're pointing out here on
- 8:53Speaker 1: this show it's a win win for everyone, and for him,
- 8:58Speaker 1: he clearly made the right decision to wait one year.
- 9:01Speaker 1: How tempting would it have been for you? If you're
- 9:03Speaker 1: him and you're going through your value with your agency,
- 9:08Speaker 1: but you hadn't taken off yet at the plate, and
- 9:10Speaker 1: you're only one season into your career and the Cubs
- 9:13Speaker 1: pushed sixty six million dollars your way a year ago,
- 9:17Speaker 1: how difficult would it have been to say no and
- 9:20Speaker 1: say I think the bat is going to prove a
- 9:23Speaker 1: lot more here. My team is already clearly aware of
- 9:27Speaker 1: what I can do defensively, and on the basis.
- 9:30Speaker 3: Well, I mean, he had nothing to lose last year.
- 9:33Speaker 3: He's getting ready to go to arbitration, so there's a
- 9:35Speaker 3: it's a different situation. Teams always try to lock up
- 9:38Speaker 3: guys before they I mean they tried to luck up
- 9:40Speaker 3: Connor Griffin before he got any days, because people who
- 9:43Speaker 3: don't have days in the big leagues say, man, if
- 9:46Speaker 3: a hundred million sounds pretty good, I don't know how
- 9:47Speaker 3: it's going to go in the major leagues. Well, PCA
- 9:49Speaker 3: is what almost over two years now, or almost two
- 9:53Speaker 3: years of service time, so he's been a proven commodity
- 9:56Speaker 3: and he knows, and he bet on himself and then
- 9:59Speaker 3: you know what else he did. He went to WBC
- 10:00Speaker 3: and he showed out again in some huge games. And
- 10:03Speaker 3: don't say that, I know this was probably already in
- 10:05Speaker 3: the works, but that definitely affected where he stood. And
- 10:08Speaker 3: then they got to a number here that he likes,
- 10:10Speaker 3: so I mean, I don't know. Yeah, yeah, this is great,
- 10:16Speaker 3: This is great for both sides.
- 10:17Speaker 1: I love it. And let me again clarify because AJ
- 10:21Speaker 1: and Ryan in the chat seemed to not totally understand
- 10:24Speaker 1: what I was saying. Ryan said, what the hell are
- 10:26Speaker 1: you saying? Hit thirty homers and fell off. He's a
- 10:28Speaker 1: similar or better version of Buxton because he's left handed
- 10:31Speaker 1: and he's more right handed pitching. Again, my point was,
- 10:35Speaker 1: if you saw what you saw in the second half,
- 10:37Speaker 1: over the course of a long period of time, he
- 10:40Speaker 1: is still worth it. Does that make sense? Is that better?
- 10:44Speaker 2: Yes?
- 10:45Speaker 1: Okay, here's the here's.
- 10:47Speaker 4: My comp is Grady size More without walks Greaty size
- 10:51Speaker 4: More was on the path to I'm sure AJ played
- 10:55Speaker 4: against him all the time. People looked at him and go, WHOA,
- 10:58Speaker 4: this guy is gonna be elite for years, and maybe
- 11:01Speaker 4: the way he played, maybe the fact that he was
- 11:03Speaker 4: running in defenses. Everybody has theories, but Grady Sizemore was
- 11:08Speaker 4: an MVP candidate for four straight years Gold Glover, Silver Slugger,
- 11:13Speaker 4: and then by twenty six years old, it started to
- 11:18Speaker 4: kind of go downhill in the sense that he wasn't
- 11:20Speaker 4: able to stay on the field as much. But you're
- 11:22Speaker 4: talking a thirty home run guy, hundred stakes you know,
- 11:26Speaker 4: less than one hundred and fifty strikeouts type of guy,
- 11:28Speaker 4: and like, to me, I think that's where the Cubs
- 11:31Speaker 4: have some risk. This is where Pete kraw Armstrong doesn't
- 11:37Speaker 4: know how he's gonna age, but every player thinks they're
- 11:39Speaker 4: going to age, and he's locked it.
- 11:40Speaker 1: In easy and they got it done before the season starts.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Now he can just go and play.
- 11:50Speaker 3: He was gonna do that.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Anyways.
- 11:52Speaker 3: Have you met this guy? I mean, this guy's great.
- 11:54Speaker 2: This guy's great.
- 11:54Speaker 3: You were with him, this guy's great. I think this
- 11:57Speaker 3: guy's great. I've said it. I've said it all along.
- 12:00Speaker 3: And I also you know what else I like about him?
- 12:03Speaker 3: I text him last night or yesterday, congratulator.
- 12:05Speaker 2: I mean, text me.
- 12:06Speaker 3: Back, cool dude, like you didn't have to do that,
- 12:08Speaker 3: but he did. And so that's nice, Like that's that's cool, like,
- 12:13Speaker 3: hey man, congratulations and he texts me right back. It's
- 12:16Speaker 3: pretty awesome. This guy, this guy gets it. And say
- 12:18Speaker 3: what you want about you know, whether you like coming off,
- 12:20Speaker 3: but this guy gets it. He does. He's done a
- 12:22Speaker 3: lot of things right and he plays the right way.
- 12:25Speaker 4: Obviously, there's no no comparing anybody to show Hey. But
- 12:28Speaker 4: the Dodgers signed show Hey, and they make the money
- 12:31Speaker 4: back to me exactly what AJ just said. He's affeable,
- 12:35Speaker 4: he's he's connectable. He like he's in this city. I'm
- 12:39Speaker 4: not saying they're making all one hundred and fifteen million
- 12:42Speaker 4: dollars back based on advertising, but there's something to be
- 12:46Speaker 4: said about an organization who hasn't necessarily had that face
- 12:51Speaker 4: since they won the World Series or since the whole
- 12:54Speaker 4: Rizzo Brizzo crew left. To me, he's he's that guy.
- 12:59Speaker 4: So there's a final acial gain in that sense for
- 13:01Speaker 4: the Cubs too, if they want to continue to be
- 13:03Speaker 4: tight with their money.
- 13:09Speaker 1: He will do all the interviews. He's entertaining. His family's
- 13:12Speaker 1: in entertainment, right.
- 13:13Speaker 3: Well, he gets it, he gets it, he does, he
- 13:16Speaker 3: gets it. He dresses the way he wants, he has
- 13:18Speaker 3: his own thing, he lives his own life. It's awesome.
- 13:21Speaker 3: Is what is this what we want from people? Is
- 13:23Speaker 3: this not what we want from people? We ask this
- 13:25Speaker 3: whole time, do we not want this? Everyone complains that, oh,
- 13:28Speaker 3: this guy doesn't do this. This guy, this guy does
- 13:30Speaker 3: a lot of stuff. He puts himself out there, and
- 13:32Speaker 3: now people, oh, is it too much? No, this is
- 13:35Speaker 3: what we want.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Did you hear Ken on the WBC when he said,
- 13:40Speaker 1: it's amazing how people went from Oh, you're showing people up.
- 13:45Speaker 1: You can't do anything right. This is some of what
- 13:47Speaker 1: you dealt with AJ when you were playing right. It's like,
- 13:50Speaker 1: you can't do anything. You just have to be a
- 13:51Speaker 1: completely straight lined, vanilla ice cream player. And now all
- 13:56Speaker 1: of a sudden, the WBC goes down. And if you're
- 13:59Speaker 1: not too demonstrative and crazy on the field, you don't
- 14:02Speaker 1: care enough the narrative.
- 14:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know about it. If they don't care enough,
- 14:07Speaker 3: I think that's wrong.
- 14:08Speaker 1: No, that's the point, is it is wrong. Ken was like,
- 14:11Speaker 1: what are we talking about?
- 14:13Speaker 3: I don't listen m Ken, So I don't know what
- 14:14Speaker 3: he said. But one of the things I don't understand
- 14:19Speaker 3: is just because the WBC. It's a different thing. It's
- 14:22Speaker 3: a it's a what six game, seven game at most tournament,
- 14:26Speaker 3: and people can put all their energy into those seven games,
- 14:28Speaker 3: So you know, it's different. The fans are different, The
- 14:34Speaker 3: whole thing is different than what what a one hundred
- 14:38Speaker 3: and sixty two games is. Now. People play like this
- 14:40Speaker 3: and they try to play like this, but nobody can
- 14:42Speaker 3: can have the energy of a six or seven game
- 14:44Speaker 3: tournament as the same as you can for one hundred
- 14:47Speaker 3: and sixty two games. It's impossible.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Well, in conclusion, good for the game, good for everyone,
- 14:55Speaker 1: and PCA is right where he wanted to be. You
- 14:57Speaker 1: grow up a Cubs fan in LA already got all
- 15:00Speaker 1: of LA against him in a fun way. Dodgers Cubs
- 15:05Speaker 1: is going to be freaking great theater for a long time.
- 15:08Speaker 1: So congrats to him. Hey, we received more details on
- 15:13Speaker 1: the new contract for Christopher Sanchez, twenty million in deferred
- 15:17Speaker 1: money that runs from twenty thirty five to twenty forty four. Wait,
- 15:21Speaker 1: the Phillies can do deferrals can do this?
- 15:25Speaker 2: What disgusting? O that?
- 15:28Speaker 1: What's disgusting?
- 15:30Speaker 2: Just cheaters.
- 15:30Speaker 4: It's just not even fair salary cap we need it.
- 15:34Speaker 4: Salary crap salary crap, that's.
- 15:36Speaker 2: What it is.
- 15:37Speaker 4: Deferred money illegal against the rules sarcasm inserted.
- 15:44Speaker 1: And know that other teams can do deferrals. How many
- 15:47Speaker 1: teams you think are doing deferrals at this point? Not
- 15:49Speaker 1: the league, if not more, If no more.
- 15:51Speaker 3: I mean the Mets are still paying on Bobby Venia
- 15:54Speaker 3: from forty years ago, So I mean the deferrals are
- 15:57Speaker 3: always gonna think. The Marlins didn't sign anybody, so there's
- 16:00Speaker 3: no way they have any deferrals fair unless they still
- 16:03Speaker 3: have money. Don't they owe something on the Stanton Didn't
- 16:06Speaker 3: they owe something on the stand?
- 16:07Speaker 2: Right? Good point?
- 16:08Speaker 1: That is true.
- 16:09Speaker 3: Yell I don't know about yell at or you know,
- 16:11Speaker 3: I probably not Rio Muto, but I mean they're still
- 16:13Speaker 3: paying something on the Stanton contract, I would think. But
- 16:16Speaker 3: most teams have some sort of deferral. I mean, Orioles,
- 16:21Speaker 3: Chris Davis, Dodgers obviously have a bunch. I'm sure the
- 16:24Speaker 3: Angels are playing paying somebody along the way. I mean,
- 16:26Speaker 3: there's every team does this. It's just the way it is,
- 16:29Speaker 3: and the players are But one thing we did see
- 16:32Speaker 3: PC adn't getting deferrals.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Hey, this is a good few minutes for us to
- 16:39Speaker 1: look at the games and the pitching probables while we
- 16:42Speaker 1: have a moment thanks to see Geek and the code
- 16:44Speaker 1: territory ten for ten percent off tickets. So tonight we
- 16:48Speaker 1: have Logan Web matching up against Max Freed for Yankees Giants.
- 16:51Speaker 1: If you want tickets, you know what to do. And
- 16:54Speaker 1: then we went over some of the pitching matchups for
- 16:56Speaker 1: Opening Day. Any other starters you're excited to see, Like,
- 16:59Speaker 1: for example, I know this is kind of a basic answer,
- 17:01Speaker 1: but you have Tigers taking on the Padres in San Diego.
- 17:06Speaker 1: You know that'll be sold out because they always set
- 17:08Speaker 1: attendance records. They squeeze a few more people into Peco Park.
- 17:12Speaker 1: They put on a party in a show. But it's
- 17:14Speaker 1: Schooble's platform season, back to back side, young winner. Can
- 17:17Speaker 1: you do it a third time and then enter free agency?
- 17:19Speaker 1: Is I would say one of the more decorated pitchers
- 17:22Speaker 1: to enter free agency in a while. So Scooble against Betta,
- 17:25Speaker 1: you can grab tickets there. What do you think of
- 17:27Speaker 1: that one or any others I'm missing that you're excited
- 17:29Speaker 1: to see?
- 17:30Speaker 3: From like an a standpoint, any Opening Day is great
- 17:32Speaker 3: for me. Yeah, I mean forget the pitching match. Just
- 17:34Speaker 3: Opening Day, if you you know, just go to Opening Day.
- 17:37Speaker 3: It's awesome baseball starting for real, and it's Opening Day,
- 17:40Speaker 3: and usually it's your best two p unless there's some hurt, obviously,
- 17:43Speaker 3: but go to Opening Day because the festivities. They have
- 17:46Speaker 3: the bunting. Anytime you see the bunting, that means it's
- 17:48Speaker 3: a big day.
- 17:49Speaker 1: That's right. And by the way, just we'll get Kratz's
- 17:52Speaker 1: thoughts here too. The code for you Territory ten ten
- 17:55Speaker 1: percent off your next set of tickets at Tiki ten
- 17:57Speaker 1: percent off with the promo code ter r i R
- 18:00Speaker 1: Y ten. Click the link in the description to download
- 18:03Speaker 1: the app. Have the code automatically add it to your
- 18:05Speaker 1: account so you can use it later. Crats anything you're
- 18:10Speaker 1: looking forward to Opening Day slate, I.
- 18:13Speaker 2: Mean tonight's game.
- 18:15Speaker 4: I know it's not technically Opening Day, but tonight's game
- 18:18Speaker 4: Logan Web versus Max Freed. Max Freed has to step
- 18:21Speaker 4: up for about a month and a half, just like
- 18:24Speaker 4: you did last year and kind of took over that
- 18:27Speaker 4: number one role without Garrett Cole out. So I think
- 18:31Speaker 4: it's going to be in San fran like Sneak, not
- 18:35Speaker 4: even sneaky it's just it's one of the coolest places
- 18:37Speaker 4: to see a game too. So if you're talking about
- 18:40Speaker 4: finding a good seat, one of the better stadiums to
- 18:43Speaker 4: watch a game in.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Yep, I think Seattle is going to be crazy too.
- 18:49Speaker 1: Thursday night, they've got a night game. Do you like
- 18:51Speaker 1: opening day day games or night games?
- 18:53Speaker 2: Well?
- 18:54Speaker 3: Whatever, it depends on where you're playing. If you're playing
- 18:56Speaker 3: in summer, cold Detroit always did it right and they
- 18:58Speaker 3: did day games for the first so that was nice.
- 19:01Speaker 3: But I mean, if you're in Seattle, you have a roof.
- 19:03Speaker 3: I know it's not completely covered in, but if you
- 19:06Speaker 3: have a roof, you can play a night game. But
- 19:07Speaker 3: I was like a fan if you're outside in cold
- 19:09Speaker 3: weather day games.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Hey, we're back. Did you guys see how Brandon sprot
- 19:15Speaker 1: found out he made the big league roster?
- 19:17Speaker 2: I haven't seen it.
- 19:18Speaker 3: Hopefully hopefully it's it's it's good because it was Murph
- 19:21Speaker 3: in charge of it.
- 19:22Speaker 1: It was so murfh. Go ahead, Kratz. You played for
- 19:25Speaker 1: the Brewers and you know Murph, Well, so how did
- 19:28Speaker 1: it go down?
- 19:30Speaker 4: I mean, hey, Sprote, you made the team, didn't he said, like,
- 19:34Speaker 4: don't screw it up now? I'm forgetting exactly what he said, but.
- 19:38Speaker 1: But he just like yelled it.
- 19:39Speaker 3: Yeah, he just yelled at it, like bro, you made.
- 19:42Speaker 4: It, like somebody else just got fired. And Murph was
- 19:47Speaker 4: coming out and going, hey, Sprot, you made the team.
- 19:49Speaker 4: I wonder if I wonder if Sprot was wondering if
- 19:51Speaker 4: you made the team or not.
- 19:54Speaker 1: The exact quote is, hey, Sprote, you're on the team.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Deal with it, deal with it.
- 19:59Speaker 2: That's what he said.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Mm hmm. Hard to come up with creative ways to
- 20:05Speaker 1: introduce a player or to break the news to a player.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Murph has cracked the code.
- 20:11Speaker 3: Oh, Murph was just being himself. Yeah, so he just
- 20:14Speaker 3: he was himself. That's what you want. You want people
- 20:16Speaker 3: to be themselves.
- 20:17Speaker 1: Oh, we have the sounds, let's play it.
- 20:21Speaker 5: Told Sprote yesterday it was on the team. H he
- 20:24Speaker 5: didn't know. He was telling people that he didn't know.
- 20:27Speaker 5: I heard it through the grape vine. So if he
- 20:28Speaker 5: didn't know this whole story, I heard it through the grapevine.
- 20:31Speaker 5: That sprout said it like.
- 20:32Speaker 2: I don't I don't, I don't know where I'm going.
- 20:34Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 20:36Speaker 5: That's what I saw him. So I saw him in
- 20:37Speaker 5: the hallway like I was from here to the videographers
- 20:41Speaker 5: away and say he's broke, you're on the team, deal
- 20:43Speaker 5: with it.
- 20:48Speaker 2: Okay, that's pretty funny.
- 20:51Speaker 5: That was my first, uh, first time I ever let
- 20:53Speaker 5: anybody know across the room or you know, down the
- 20:56Speaker 5: hall and just told him to deal with it.
- 21:00Speaker 1: Having fun with this.
- 21:02Speaker 3: Himself.
- 21:03Speaker 1: Yeah, and it's genuine. He's having a good time, just.
- 21:11Speaker 4: Like Dusty Slay says. Just like Dusty Slay says, we're having.
- 21:15Speaker 2: A good time. We're having a good time. Look it
- 21:17Speaker 2: up if you don't know.
- 21:19Speaker 1: But he's one of a kind. Nobody else is doing
- 21:22Speaker 1: it like he's doing it.
- 21:22Speaker 3: No, just hees himself, yes, being himself, which is why
- 21:25Speaker 3: people like him.
- 21:26Speaker 1: The back to back champ that he hates to hear
- 21:29Speaker 1: the back to back.
- 21:31Speaker 4: When he was when he was a bench coach in
- 21:33Speaker 4: spring training. One time there's three minor leaguers sitting at
- 21:35Speaker 4: the end. Called one of the minor leaguers over and
- 21:37Speaker 4: the kid was like, thinking he's.
- 21:38Speaker 2: Going in the game.
- 21:38Speaker 4: He goes, hey, he goes, counsel doesn't think you're good
- 21:41Speaker 4: enough to go in the game, So go tell the
- 21:43Speaker 4: other two guys they're going in and the kids sat
- 21:46Speaker 4: and didn't play the rest of the game. It was
- 21:48Speaker 4: one of the roast crude, rude, funny things that I've
- 21:51Speaker 4: seen that I saw Murph do in the spring training game.
- 21:56Speaker 1: Season predictions are presented by Game Changer. Learn more about
- 22:00Speaker 1: the app coming up, and let's start with AJ's team predictions.
- 22:04Speaker 1: That's what we're doing here for this segment. I want
- 22:07Speaker 1: to know who's winning each division, the wildcard teams, and
- 22:10Speaker 1: eventually lead us into what the World Series matchup is
- 22:13Speaker 1: going to look like.
- 22:14Speaker 3: Okay, I mean, I've kind of like Tim Perchman. I
- 22:17Speaker 3: went pretty chalk Yankees, Tigers, Mariners in the AL. I
- 22:19Speaker 3: think those you know, Yankees Toronto they tied last year.
- 22:22Speaker 3: I think Eric Cole coming back. I think they are
- 22:25Speaker 3: just they're gonna figure it out this year.
- 22:27Speaker 2: I don't know why.
- 22:27Speaker 3: I don't have a reason for Judge, you know, as
- 22:29Speaker 3: Judge's judge. I think they're just they're gonna they're gonna
- 22:33Speaker 3: win that division. They tied the Blue Jays last year.
- 22:35Speaker 3: That's it. My wildcards Toronto, Boston and Rangers just a
- 22:38Speaker 3: surprise because I wanted to mix it up. I could
- 22:40Speaker 3: have gone somewhere else, but Toronto and Boston. I think
- 22:43Speaker 3: they're they're really good. I think the Rangers with Gore
- 22:45Speaker 3: de Grom ofald at the top of their lineup, and
- 22:47Speaker 3: I love Skip Schumacher, so I think that's their wildcard.
- 22:49Speaker 3: The top seed in the ALS the Mariners because they
- 22:51Speaker 3: play in a lesser division than the other teams, and
- 22:54Speaker 3: I think they'll win the most games and get there.
- 22:57Speaker 3: So that's my American League, and then the n is
- 23:00Speaker 3: the Phillies, Cubs, Dodgers. Seems pretty self explanatory. I think
- 23:02Speaker 3: everyone kind of is picking those three teams, the wild cards,
- 23:06Speaker 3: the Mets, the Brewers, and my surprise team again is
- 23:08Speaker 3: the Diamondbacks.
- 23:09Speaker 2: Why not.
- 23:09Speaker 3: Tory Leavello does a great job. Jack Allen's gonna have
- 23:12Speaker 3: a big year. I think Merril Kelly coming back. I
- 23:15Speaker 3: just think that their prime Corporn Carroll get off to
- 23:17Speaker 3: a better start. I just think they're there. Uh And
- 23:20Speaker 3: I think they're gonna be better than the Padres and
- 23:22Speaker 3: the Giants, and I think the Braves are too banged up,
- 23:24Speaker 3: and so I think that's where we're at. And then
- 23:26Speaker 3: the Analtop Speed does the Dodgers for the World Series.
- 23:29Speaker 3: I have the top seeds making it. I have Mariners, Dodgers,
- 23:32Speaker 3: and I have the Dodgers winning because they're gonna be
- 23:33Speaker 3: number one of my power rankings until someone beats me.
- 23:35Speaker 1: M right. So before we dive into Eric's list, were
- 23:39Speaker 1: there any teams that you struggled with in terms of
- 23:43Speaker 1: making the playoffs or not? I know you just mentioned
- 23:45Speaker 1: that PoTA.
- 23:45Speaker 3: I mean you could you could throw the Houston. You
- 23:47Speaker 3: could throw Houston in there in the American League. I
- 23:49Speaker 3: think you can throw the Guardians in the American League, Orioles.
- 23:52Speaker 3: Orioles are another one, but their division is so tough
- 23:54Speaker 3: with the Yankees, Blue Jays and Red Sox. They're gonna
- 23:56Speaker 3: beat each other up to a point where if their
- 23:58Speaker 3: pitching goes a little bit sideways, they're in trouble.
- 24:01Speaker 2: Uh.
- 24:01Speaker 3: And then and then actually you could think Padres, you
- 24:03Speaker 3: could go Red to me last year, you could go Braves.
- 24:06Speaker 3: I just think that the Diamondbacks are going to survive
- 24:09Speaker 3: that they're not afraid of the Dodgers. So yeah, was
- 24:12Speaker 3: there some options. Absolutely, But you know we'll.
- 24:15Speaker 1: See, Okay, crats lay it all out them make people mad.
- 24:21Speaker 4: I definitely will make people mad because I have in
- 24:24Speaker 4: the American League. I'm going with the Yankees, Tigers, Mariners.
- 24:27Speaker 4: I feel like those are the three easy division winners.
- 24:31Speaker 2: Now this is.
- 24:31Speaker 4: Where I'm gonna make people mad. I got the wild
- 24:33Speaker 4: card being the blue Jays number one seed. I got
- 24:37Speaker 4: the Royals making it, and I got the Rangers making
- 24:40Speaker 4: it because I also like Skip Schumacher and I think
- 24:44Speaker 4: just there's some guys on that team I think are
- 24:46Speaker 4: going to take a next step or continue like a
- 24:48Speaker 4: Nemo coming over from the Mets. I think Josh Smith
- 24:51Speaker 4: is going to continue to have a great, a great
- 24:53Speaker 4: career that I don't think people a lot of people
- 24:55Speaker 4: know about them. I think that offense will turn around.
- 24:58Speaker 4: So I have those three leaving out some good American
- 25:00Speaker 4: League teams the top seed. I think the Tigers are
- 25:03Speaker 4: gonna get it done to be the top seed. I
- 25:05Speaker 4: think they did in the first half and they collapsed.
- 25:07Speaker 4: I think they're gonna learn from that collapse if they
- 25:11Speaker 4: can continue to score runs throughout the entire year, because
- 25:14Speaker 4: I think they're gonna pitch this year. The National League.
- 25:16Speaker 4: I got the Phillies, Cubs, Dodgers. Seems like that's pretty
- 25:20Speaker 4: standard for everybody right now, and don't see anybody beating
- 25:22Speaker 4: those teams in a division. But I have the Reds
- 25:26Speaker 4: making the playoffs, I have the Mets making the playoffs,
- 25:28Speaker 4: and I have the Padres making the playoffs.
- 25:31Speaker 2: I think the.
- 25:32Speaker 4: Lack of pitching for the Padres will will keep them
- 25:36Speaker 4: from really pushing to win a division. And they also
- 25:40Speaker 4: play the Dodgers. I just think it's really tough. I
- 25:44Speaker 4: think the Braves miss out because of the fact that
- 25:48Speaker 4: their starting rotation is very much in flux. They're gonna
- 25:52Speaker 4: have to have a lot of guys step up even
- 25:54Speaker 4: if they do score a lot of runs in have
- 25:55Speaker 4: a good bullpen. I think the Dodgers will have the
- 25:58Speaker 4: best record, and I think this is the year that
- 26:00Speaker 4: the Phillies pushed through to the World Series and beat
- 26:04Speaker 4: the Dodgers. And I think this is the year the
- 26:06Speaker 4: Tigers pushed through and it is going to be an
- 26:10Speaker 4: epic matchup in the World Series because the Tigers have
- 26:14Speaker 4: two bona fide starting pitchers, I mean two bona fide
- 26:18Speaker 4: number one aces type of pitchers, and the Phillies are
- 26:22Speaker 4: going to have three by the.
- 26:24Speaker 2: End of the season. And that's why I think the
- 26:25Speaker 2: Phillies end up winning the World Series this year.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Go ahead, you gotta throw something in there. Kratz picked
- 26:31Speaker 1: the Phillies to win the World Series.
- 26:33Speaker 3: I mean, that's fine. We all have our we all
- 26:36Speaker 3: can pick that we pick, and we understand why Crouts
- 26:38Speaker 3: picked the Phillies.
- 26:39Speaker 2: That's fine.
- 26:40Speaker 3: The Tigers are more of a surprise to me after
- 26:42Speaker 3: the way they struggled with contact in the postseason last year.
- 26:45Speaker 3: And you know, Fromber and Terrik are great, but you
- 26:48Speaker 3: got to score runs at some point. Unless they figure
- 26:50Speaker 3: that part out. Mcgonaga will help. But I mean, I
- 26:52Speaker 3: get the Phillies pick, and it's smart if you if Sanchez, Zzarto,
- 26:56Speaker 3: Wheeler and Nola are all healthy, it's pretty good. And
- 26:58Speaker 3: then you have Deron and well Al Rodal the pitch
- 27:02Speaker 3: in the postseason this year, yep, well throwing Keller. That's
- 27:05Speaker 3: a pretty good back end of a bullpen mm hm.
- 27:08Speaker 1: And even position player wise for the Phillies, Justin Crawford
- 27:12Speaker 1: could have a big year for them. Aiden Miller at
- 27:15Speaker 1: some point should come up for the ball club this year,
- 27:17Speaker 1: right Kratz.
- 27:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean you could.
- 27:20Speaker 4: But I think I think that the path for the
- 27:22Speaker 4: Phillies to win is they have to do exactly what
- 27:25Speaker 4: they did last year. They have to get the they
- 27:28Speaker 4: have to get the days off, you know. I think
- 27:30Speaker 4: that number one seed would be huge for them. The
- 27:32Speaker 4: buye in the first round would be huge. But I
- 27:35Speaker 4: think they they essentially lost the Dodgers series because of
- 27:39Speaker 4: the bullpen. I think they upgrade while they are running
- 27:42Speaker 4: back the same lineup and everybody's like, I don't know
- 27:44Speaker 4: how it's gonna I don't know how it's going to age.
- 27:46Speaker 4: But I think this year it's still gonna be fine.
- 27:48Speaker 4: I think that bullpen is better than it was last year,
- 27:52Speaker 4: and I think that's say that was you know, that
- 27:55Speaker 4: was what kept them from getting past the Dodgers, because
- 27:59Speaker 4: they were winning every game going into when it became
- 28:02Speaker 4: a bullpen game, and then they ended up losing.

- 28:50Speaker 1: Box one Streaming. Now, let's go through some teams that
- 28:55Speaker 1: Eric did not think will make the playoffs. I think
- 28:58Speaker 1: we should start with the team that is near to
- 29:00Speaker 1: his heart, the Milwaukee Brewers not a playoff team this year.
- 29:06Speaker 1: Was that the most difficult one for you? I'll name
- 29:08Speaker 1: a few others just for the fans that were looking
- 29:11Speaker 1: quickly at the board. Red Sox, Brioles, Astros, Diamondbacks, Giants, Braves.
- 29:16Speaker 1: Those were some of the other notable teams that I
- 29:18Speaker 1: think I all have on missing out on your board.
- 29:23Speaker 4: No, the Brewers weren't. The Red Sox were probably my
- 29:25Speaker 4: toughest one. I chose the Royals over the Red Sox
- 29:29Speaker 4: because I think the Royals are going to take the
- 29:31Speaker 4: next step. I think we'll get it to our awards tomorrow.
- 29:34Speaker 4: I think Bobby Witt playing for Team USA just another
- 29:38Speaker 4: year in the Big leagues is the MVP, and I
- 29:41Speaker 4: think that type of thing leads to just kind of
- 29:46Speaker 4: everybody having better years. And so for me, the hardest
- 29:49Speaker 4: one was the Red Sox, just because I think their
- 29:53Speaker 4: pitching is going to be really good. I think their
- 29:55Speaker 4: offense is still going to be good. I just am
- 29:58Speaker 4: afraid of them being it's a little bit short in
- 30:01Speaker 4: the division, and I think the Brewers leaving the Brewers out.
- 30:07Speaker 4: I'm just not sure where they're gonna get there. I'm
- 30:09Speaker 4: just not sure where they're going to get all the
- 30:11Speaker 4: innings for the rest of the year. And it's the
- 30:12Speaker 4: same question every single year, and you make all your like,
- 30:17Speaker 4: let's say they have all average pitchers, which I think
- 30:19Speaker 4: Big WU can be above average. I think their bullpen
- 30:22Speaker 4: shows every year and a year out. They're always elite.
- 30:25Speaker 4: But it makes their defense, makes their pitching so much better.
- 30:30Speaker 4: I just think they lost too many key pieces from
- 30:33Speaker 4: last year for them to be able to make the
- 30:36Speaker 4: playoffs this year in a better division than what they
- 30:40Speaker 4: played in last year.
- 30:43Speaker 1: The Brewers strongly disagree with you and feel like they
- 30:46Speaker 1: keep replenishing.
- 30:47Speaker 2: They can.
- 30:48Speaker 4: They totally do, They totally do. You can never pick
- 30:50Speaker 4: against them, and I'm doing it.
- 30:53Speaker 1: So there it is exactly at some point it could crack,
- 30:57Speaker 1: and maybe it could be this year. All right. This segment,
- 31:01Speaker 1: the Prediction segment, is presented by a new sponsor for US,

- 31:17Speaker 1: talked about the Brewers. Go ahead, I mean people, people
- 31:20Speaker 1: know the PR man the Brewers.
- 31:23Speaker 4: Yik fasalo is is all of a sudden, he's super
- 31:26Speaker 4: locked into foul territory. Probably gives us the most guests
- 31:29Speaker 4: of any team. He's the PR guy for the Brewers,
- 31:32Speaker 4: and now he's super locked in because Game Changer. It's
- 31:36Speaker 4: enabled him to stay at his job, which is being
- 31:38Speaker 4: the big league PR guy at the field, and also
- 31:41Speaker 4: watch his kid play baseball.
- 31:43Speaker 2: I do it.
- 31:44Speaker 4: I just I just ran the Game Changer last night
- 31:46Speaker 4: for our high school team, and like, to me, it's seamless.
- 31:50Speaker 4: You get a you get a camera, you get that
- 31:52Speaker 4: John put on the fence. People that like our games
- 31:56Speaker 4: are three or four o'clock in the afternoon. People that
- 31:58Speaker 4: send their kids to school, probably have jobs and can't
- 32:01Speaker 4: make it, so it enables them to be able to
- 32:03Speaker 4: live stream it is. It is the best app for
- 32:06Speaker 4: anybody that needs to be able to want to support
- 32:10Speaker 4: your kids, support your grandkids, whatever it is, and it's
- 32:13Speaker 4: so easy to use.
- 32:15Speaker 1: Did you guys hear about the left field streak coming
- 32:18Speaker 1: to a close for the Giants? Isn't it crazy how
- 32:22Speaker 1: long that was?
- 32:25Speaker 3: Well, there's another there's a right field one somewhere. I thought, yeah, Cleveland,
- 32:28Speaker 3: Cleveland has a right field one right fifteen years or
- 32:30Speaker 3: something that's.
- 32:31Speaker 1: Yeah, fifteen years. The Giants six plaid a different So
- 32:34Speaker 1: the Giants had a different opening day starter at left
- 32:36Speaker 1: field for nineteen years and it's over. Elliott Ramos breaks
- 32:41Speaker 1: that up since he was the opening day guy in
- 32:44Speaker 1: left field, not for two years in a row. So
- 32:46Speaker 1: now it's up to the longest streak. That was the
- 32:48Speaker 1: longest streak since nineteen hundred that they had, and Sarah
- 32:51Speaker 1: Lang's doing great research on that different player, no repeats
- 32:55Speaker 1: either at that particular position, and now it's up to
- 32:58Speaker 1: Cleveland with fifteen and then they were running through the list.
- 33:01Speaker 1: It started with Barry Bonds in two thousand and seven
- 33:03Speaker 1: and ends with ramos here. I mean, you've got all
- 33:06Speaker 1: kinds of names from Dave Roberts, Mark De Rosa, Pat Burrell,
- 33:09Speaker 1: Aubrey Hoff. I'm just bouncing around, Mike Morris, Noriaki, Hunter
- 33:14Speaker 1: Pence Connor, Joe, Alex Dickerson, Blake Sable, Jock Peterson. I mean,
- 33:19Speaker 1: it is just a cavalcade of names that you know,
- 33:23Speaker 1: but they just couldn't do it two years in a
- 33:25Speaker 1: row until now. It's a cool stat cool nugget.
- 33:30Speaker 2: I like that. That's what Opening Day is.
- 33:32Speaker 4: Everybody feels one hundred percent today, just remember that Tomorrow
- 33:37Speaker 4: not quite as much.
- 33:38Speaker 1: A reminder to everyone. This is big news. Tomorrow is
- 33:44Speaker 1: Opening Day, one pm Eastern Time, live on the West Coast.
- 33:52Speaker 1: It's ten am. The show is back to normalcy. We
- 33:57Speaker 1: actually received a good amount of questions over the past
- 33:59Speaker 1: twenty four hours, like, hey, spring Training's basically done. What's
- 34:02Speaker 1: the deal. The deal is the games begin and the
- 34:07Speaker 1: one o'clock Spring training games are over, and we go
- 34:10Speaker 1: back to one pm Eastern Time, so the show will
- 34:12Speaker 1: be live one to three for the rest of the year.
- 34:16Speaker 1: We do this for spring training. I always explain it.
- 34:18Speaker 1: It worked out great awesome spring training tour. But now
- 34:21Speaker 1: we're back to one o'clock live every weekday, so mark
- 34:26Speaker 1: your calendars. And for those of you that weren't up
- 34:28Speaker 1: early enough on the West Coast or weren't at work
- 34:30Speaker 1: early enough to listen and all of that, you will
- 34:32Speaker 1: be back in the live window. So we're excited for
- 34:35Speaker 1: that too. During slappands, I'll go over guests for the
- 34:40Speaker 1: big opening day show, we'll do some more predictions for
- 34:43Speaker 1: tomorrow's show, and we'll start mixing in some questions too.
- 34:47Speaker 1: It's been busy, so I've been in the chat as
- 34:50Speaker 1: much as I wanted to over the past couple of days.
- 34:53Speaker 1: But I will be back, and we have many new
- 34:58Speaker 1: shows that we'll talk about. I mean, we've been introducing them,
- 35:00Speaker 1: but for example, talking to Tim Kirkchin about the show
- 35:04Speaker 1: that he's been running and it's now part of the
- 35:05Speaker 1: FT Network. A new Blue Jays show that launched about
- 35:08Speaker 1: a month ago that we'll get into a little bit
- 35:10Speaker 1: more with KP. So there's a lot of that. But again, Kratz,
- 35:14Speaker 1: what time tomorrow, don't don't show.
- 35:16Speaker 4: Up eleven, don't show up at eleven, don't show up
- 35:21Speaker 4: at eight, show up at one o'clock Eastern time. One o'clock.
- 35:26Speaker 4: That's when you show up. The boys will be back.
- 35:28Speaker 4: Have your TV on here, have us on right there.
- 35:32Speaker 4: You can watch Paul Schemes dominate and you can watch
- 35:36Speaker 4: aj wear his hat backwards.
- 35:42Speaker 1: Also, by the way, there's only one one o'clock game.
- 35:46Speaker 1: The rest of them are later. I mean it's Schemes
- 35:49Speaker 1: and Freddy at one fifteen technically, so we'll be on
- 35:51Speaker 1: for you and you can we'll watch while we're chatting,
- 35:55Speaker 1: not going to do play by play. And then there's
- 35:57Speaker 1: a couple two o'clock games Shane Smith and Jacob Misowski
- 36:01Speaker 1: White Sox Brewers and the Gnats take on the Cubs,
- 36:04Speaker 1: and then the rest occur after our show, so most
- 36:06Speaker 1: of the games are a little later in the day,
