A tragic crash on I-75 southbound in Scott County claimed the lives of Darren and Shauna Nelson, both 60s from Knoxville, when their vehicle struck a parked fire truck responding to another accident. Four others were injured — two passengers hospitalized with serious but stable injuries, and three firefighters treated for injuries before being released.
