- 0:40Speaker 1: do that, right, Cassidy.
- 0:41Speaker 3: It's more mean trying.
- 0:42Speaker 4: Yes, if you guys kind of know how this whole
- 0:44Speaker 4: corporate thing works.
- 0:46Speaker 1: There's nothing corporate about us, just there are certain people
- 0:49Speaker 1: in corporate that you have to be You have to
- 0:51Speaker 1: be very very wary of when you when you make
- 0:53Speaker 1: statements like, hey Diva today, guys, hold my bas today,
- 0:59Speaker 1: I told you would go another Sorry, let me just
- 1:01Speaker 1: give it an intro and now for another edition of
- 1:04Speaker 1: what Cassidy told her boss.
- 1:06Speaker 3: Please don't shout at me in front of my friends.
- 1:09Speaker 1: It was one of her classic lines that you pulled
- 1:11Speaker 1: to the boss, and he had every right to say
- 1:14Speaker 1: that to you. You're my world. But now that we're
- 1:19Speaker 1: all pepped up and ready, welcome, I thought it was
- 1:21Speaker 1: Tuesday today story one dead. It's Wednesday. She means, it's
- 1:25Speaker 1: homday and a chance to read it clicks and flash
- 1:28Speaker 1: wood and concept and lickaness and one up later. So
- 1:32Speaker 1: please join us, Let's have a good time and let
- 1:35Speaker 1: love take over, because love is the answer, and I
- 1:38Speaker 1: love love and I love you. Welcome to your flash drive.
- 1:41Speaker 1: I'm K thirty four point five. Okay, Somber Homewrecker on
- 1:46Speaker 1: the flash drive in kfam ninety four point five. Hello, Hello,
- 1:49Speaker 1: are you well? I know it seems Tuesday. It's more Wednesday,
- 1:52Speaker 1: but it's feeling a little Friday and Saturday all at once.
- 1:56Speaker 1: That's just how I feel today.
- 1:57Speaker 3: It feels like purple and November.
- 1:59Speaker 1: I think it's made because I just got a hug
- 2:01Speaker 1: from Tracy Lang. That's what happened. She walked into the
- 2:04Speaker 1: studio and I got a hug from her. So you're
- 2:06Speaker 1: in the studio. I know, sorry, are you okay? Sorry?
- 2:08Speaker 1: I just I realized we did that in front of you.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Are you gonna be okay?
- 2:11Speaker 4: She hugged me after as well, but I know that
- 2:13Speaker 4: you didn't. You weren't cognizant because you were just.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Oh my goodness, that's correct, hug Tracy Lang. Of course, yeah,
- 2:19Speaker 1: it's my homie. That's why. Yeah, that's what. I'm very
- 2:22Speaker 1: proud of her, and that's why it's just a good hut.
- 2:24Speaker 1: I feel really good after that. You're honestly, if you
- 2:27Speaker 1: want to feel good, hug Tracy Lang, it feels very good.
- 2:31Speaker 1: How do you feel? I feel great as you know
- 2:34Speaker 1: what I mean? She's so effervescent goodness, like tipped up
- 2:38Speaker 1: now like ready to go? What do you wanna?
- 2:39Speaker 2: Do?
- 2:39Speaker 1: You want to run? You want to do something? Gonna
- 2:41Speaker 1: come to higerro Hey, let's go, let's get it now?
- 2:43Speaker 1: What sure? It would be so nice? Welcome to your show?
- 2:47Speaker 1: Do you want to win with clicks? Is that a?
- 2:49Speaker 1: Is that a terrible question to ask before I get there? Sorry?
- 2:52Speaker 1: Best party of day besides getting a hug from Tracy?
- 2:54Speaker 1: What else? Oh?
- 2:55Speaker 3: Okay?
- 2:55Speaker 4: So, first of all, the Cape Town weather is showing
- 2:57Speaker 4: off today.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:59Speaker 4: So I woke up black early and I decided, you
- 3:01Speaker 4: know what I'm going to go and do a little
- 3:03Speaker 4: ten k. So I walked up Chapman's Peak add some
- 3:06Speaker 4: quiet k. Yeah, I'm like taking back my life because
- 3:10Speaker 4: I was obviously sick and then you can't go to
- 3:12Speaker 4: gym and then you have to wait until you feel better.
- 3:14Speaker 4: But then you get into this mental thing of like,
- 3:16Speaker 4: oh my goodness, I've lost too much progress. So you
- 3:18Speaker 4: kind of just got to force yourself to like get
- 3:20Speaker 4: back on the bike. And so yesterday was my first
- 3:22Speaker 4: little like I did a five k and I did
- 3:24Speaker 4: a ten k, and it's tough because I'm so competitive,
- 3:27Speaker 4: which I'm trying not to be. But it's just comparing
- 3:30Speaker 4: yourself to a version of yourself when you were better
- 3:33Speaker 4: and now you're like stop that, Just go and enjoy
- 3:37Speaker 4: the surrounds and touch grass. You know.
- 3:40Speaker 1: I know a podcast that spoke to something very similar, Yeah,
- 3:43Speaker 1: forty before forty instead available on Prime Media plus dot com.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Thank you nice. It's called The Plug I know which
- 3:49Speaker 1: I know how to wire? Do you? Yes? You do? Great?
- 3:53Speaker 1: So I mean it's lovely my day, Yeah wow, sure
- 4:01Speaker 1: they will. There were lots of facets to the day,
- 4:03Speaker 1: like lots of them. Yeah, well, you know what I
- 4:06Speaker 1: mean today it was like kind of planning day for
- 4:09Speaker 1: high Rocks. On Friday, I'm part of a mixed relay.
- 4:12Speaker 1: I am in a team with two of my gym
- 4:14Speaker 1: besties and Sevant Gaci, my school bestie. So it's going
- 4:17Speaker 1: to be really special for us. We we throw it
- 4:19Speaker 1: down on Friday evening. So I have to run from
- 4:22Speaker 1: the show and get there as quick as I can,
- 4:24Speaker 1: try to stretch and then get at it at the
- 4:26Speaker 1: ct ic C. Yes, yes, the ct I ce C
- 4:28Speaker 1: is where you'll see me.
- 4:29Speaker 3: Do I have to buy a spectator band?
- 4:33Speaker 1: I try to get you a spectator band. I did, okay,
- 4:36Speaker 1: and then they said they can only like they can
- 4:39Speaker 1: only give for the days that are available. So I
- 4:41Speaker 1: said what day is available? And then they said none.
- 4:43Speaker 3: Well does I know that I also turned thirty?
- 4:46Speaker 1: Just like know what? Please use the kawai god. That
- 4:50Speaker 1: would be so cool. And then said like, hey, don't
- 4:52Speaker 1: forget you.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Know why we turned thirty together.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Yes, I'm here with my choir friend.
- 4:56Speaker 4: With my choir friend, that's it, and then we yes, perfect.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Oh, I'd love to come watch. I really want to
- 5:01Speaker 1: because it's not often that you see me. It's gonna happen, and.
- 5:05Speaker 3: I'll be there with a sign. I can see your.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Wallballs perfect, Please please make that. I like how Beatrice's
- 5:11Speaker 1: head turned slowly toward the studio. He was busy with
- 5:14Speaker 1: something else. You just do it very, very slowly. But
- 5:16Speaker 1: it's cool, Like there's there's eight different stations and it's
- 5:18Speaker 1: an eight kilometers you everybody in the team. But because
- 5:21Speaker 1: it's a relay, it's a nice gateway into like me
- 5:23Speaker 1: doing doubles when it comes back next year. But it's
- 5:26Speaker 1: going to be a lot of fun. So I've been
- 5:27Speaker 1: assigned certain stations, and the other team members have been
- 5:30Speaker 1: assigned as well, and it's going to be a lot
- 5:32Speaker 1: of fun.
- 5:33Speaker 4: Why did you hold strong eye contact with me when
- 5:35Speaker 4: you said doubles.
- 5:36Speaker 1: I don't know. I was thinking about you because I
- 5:40Speaker 1: think it'll be a lot of fun provided that you
- 5:42Speaker 1: can stay without injury, because you have a tendency. Because
- 5:46Speaker 1: I think you said your biokinetists said something about the
- 5:49Speaker 1: fact that your your body.
- 5:51Speaker 4: Yeah, I had, I had a little bit of like
- 5:53Speaker 4: a vitamin D deficiency. I'm doing my supplements and everything
- 5:56Speaker 4: now so by the time next year comes, doubles is on.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Okay, that's cubs this orn out, so we can do
- 6:01Speaker 1: some mixed doubles and there'll be lots of fun and
- 6:04Speaker 1: we'll see the best and worst of each other, especially
- 6:07Speaker 1: nearing the end of it, which is gonna be fun.
- 6:08Speaker 1: That's gonna make Oh that's that's what I think we
- 6:12Speaker 1: should do next year. And we just we just play
- 6:15Speaker 1: the whole recording on that Monday, like guess, guess the
- 6:26Speaker 1: breathing all right, by the breathing, what the exercise is perfect? Ski? Yes,
- 6:34Speaker 1: there we go, ro yes, Oh my, would you good
- 6:40Speaker 1: at this?
- 6:41Speaker 3: Thanks? Thanks?
- 6:42Speaker 1: But then I realized that that or that may be dozzy,
- 6:45Speaker 1: So I'm not gonna do that again. I'm stilling to talk,
- 6:47Speaker 1: but just to go to your challenge for the day
- 6:50Speaker 1: is to think about your younger selt dear ladies, and
- 6:53Speaker 1: give that younger self some advice. Maybe it's to do
- 6:57Speaker 1: more athletic things. Maybe it is don't take your sleep
- 7:01Speaker 1: for a whole, because that's another thing i'd tell myself, yes,
- 7:06Speaker 1: because I often it is a big thing. And this
- 7:09Speaker 1: is why I'm gonna mention the podcast again. I had
- 7:11Speaker 1: to chat about sleep. Plug Okay, I have to plug again.
- 7:13Speaker 1: But this is why I think it's so important because
- 7:17Speaker 1: I used to think that sleep is laziness.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Really, see what you associated with lazy.
- 7:23Speaker 1: It's because you grow up in a certain way where
- 7:26Speaker 1: if you're not busy, it feels like you're wasting time.
- 7:29Speaker 1: And then all of the elders, like all the uncles
- 7:31Speaker 1: and the guy I worked for, and you know, there's
- 7:33Speaker 1: a lot of people who had that sentiment that if
- 7:35Speaker 1: you rest, you're not working hard enough. And I would
- 7:39Speaker 1: definitely go back and tell myself, sleep, my friend, all right,
- 7:43Speaker 1: it's okay to rest, it's okay to pause, it's okay
- 7:45Speaker 1: to you. Don't have to be honest us all the time.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Sleep sleep sleep, That's it. That's sort I do that. Yeah, steep,
- 7:52Speaker 1: go sleep. So that's one of the things that I
- 7:55Speaker 1: would say. But for you, my dear ladies, I'm gonna
- 7:57Speaker 1: extend you. It is woman's months. So can we just
- 7:59Speaker 1: get you involved your A two nine four five zero

- 8:53Speaker 1: Let us to your younger self is the theme. Ladies.
- 8:55Speaker 1: I want you to step up and share. Hello, Carmen, Hey,
- 8:59Speaker 1: and Cassidy.
- 9:00Speaker 6: How you guys?
- 9:01Speaker 3: How's it? How is it?
- 9:02Speaker 1: I do know? How are you reading answer? Cormon properly?
- 9:04Speaker 3: I'm having a great share.
- 9:06Speaker 1: She is having Afrikaans stay Carmen other dif she the
- 9:08Speaker 1: way she said polka dry earlier, I thought I was.
- 9:11Speaker 1: I was like Katunka, but I don't know you're polka
- 9:16Speaker 1: dry very much.
- 9:18Speaker 7: It was very good.
- 9:19Speaker 6: I like the name Katua, by the.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Way, you know what I'm saying. Yeah, it's a beautiful name.
- 9:23Speaker 3: I also like it.
- 9:24Speaker 1: I used to work with the katur That's why I
- 9:26Speaker 1: love the name. Okay, and I still still work with
- 9:27Speaker 1: the She's amazing. All right, thank you. So Carmen, I
- 9:32Speaker 1: want you to go back the younger self. Give me
- 9:34Speaker 1: an age.
- 9:37Speaker 6: I would say, like twenty five, all.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Right, twenty five in a hold there, So Carmen at
- 9:41Speaker 1: twenty five, let's talk to her directly as if she
- 9:44Speaker 1: was here. So, Carmen, twenty five year olds on the
- 9:47Speaker 1: line with you, talk to her.
- 9:49Speaker 7: Okay.
- 9:50Speaker 6: So there's a saying that goes when you get on
- 9:53Speaker 6: the wrong train. The longest say, the more experience that
- 9:56Speaker 6: used to get off. And it doesn't apply to a train,
- 9:59Speaker 6: which for me basically means whether it's a relationship or
- 10:03Speaker 6: work friendship, the longer you stay in the wrong situation,
- 10:07Speaker 6: the more it's pain to a catch, not just financially
- 10:10Speaker 6: but for your mental health time. So I love by that.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Now do you think that also speaks to sometimes we
- 10:17Speaker 1: have this false loyalty because we are trying to look
- 10:21Speaker 1: after the places in our mind that are scared, so
- 10:24Speaker 1: we don't let.
- 10:25Speaker 6: Go exactly that Exactly that.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Call Common, twenty five year old please listen to that,
- 10:32Speaker 1: because we've all been through those moments where we thought
- 10:35Speaker 1: that blind loyalty was going to get us somewhere, that
- 10:38Speaker 1: we'd be rewarded somehow for this blind loyalty and loyalty
- 10:41Speaker 1: is fantastic, but it's okay to say when the loyalty
- 10:44Speaker 1: is placed in places that it doesn't deserve to.
- 10:47Speaker 6: Be exactly exactly that Common.
- 10:51Speaker 1: The gospel here on the show today from you Common. Also,
- 10:56Speaker 1: I'm giving you a two and a half thousand cash back.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Tell twenty five year old Common that, by the way,
- 11:03Speaker 1: what would twenty five year old Cormon buy with a
- 11:06Speaker 1: cash back of two and a half thousand? And would
- 11:07Speaker 1: you think?
- 11:08Speaker 6: Oh well, oh my words, I'm gonna have to think now.
- 11:11Speaker 6: I think it's a lot of stuff actually, because I'm
- 11:15Speaker 6: still a goal.
- 11:16Speaker 1: Oh say, Heavenly, I got you. That's on special at
- 11:19Speaker 1: the moment. Comment thank you so much for sharing. What
- 11:21Speaker 1: a beautiful sentiment. I love that so much, and keep
- 11:24Speaker 1: it coming throughout the week. Chat to your younger self,
- 11:26Speaker 1: pearls of wisdom. There's so much we can learn, and
- 11:29Speaker 1: it's not that we regret what we've been through. I
- 11:31Speaker 1: think it's also quite nice to honor those moments of
- 11:34Speaker 1: chaos that taught us so much and use that to
- 11:36Speaker 1: fuel our future and our destiny. Malka destiny and your
- 11:45Speaker 1: destiny includes not only a very lovely set of songs
- 11:50Speaker 1: like Leanne Raimes's track which inspires dancing on a bar counter,
- 11:54Speaker 1: as well as a new one from Craig Lucas. But
- 11:56Speaker 1: your destiny could be to win the concept today when
- 12:00Speaker 1: you put it like that, Yeah, Bearsierba is a place
- 12:03Speaker 1: that's offering you something that'll be at just after half
- 12:06Speaker 1: boss four. If you want to stick around till then
- 12:08Speaker 1: it's going to be absolutely magical. And have you ever
- 12:12Speaker 1: asked this question of yourself and maybe of somebody that
- 12:15Speaker 1: you know in this team? What is Pietrice's hobby? What
- 12:20Speaker 1: is Karen Ann's hobby? What is your hobby?
- 12:26Speaker 2: Oh?
- 12:26Speaker 1: Hobby is even a thing?
- 12:28Speaker 3: That's a good question.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Hey are they you know the other day we chatted
- 12:31Speaker 1: about collecting things, but I'm talking about real hobbies, right, Yes?
- 12:35Speaker 1: Are they actually a thing for people. But like when
- 12:38Speaker 1: I say not hobbies like like exercising and that sort
- 12:41Speaker 1: of thing, I'm just talking about general things that you
- 12:44Speaker 1: do that give you pure enjoyment. They're not necessary for
- 12:49Speaker 1: like to gain you know, money or anything like that.
- 12:51Speaker 1: It's just that it's something that you thoroughly enjoy.
- 12:54Speaker 4: Because this is the thing, right, A lot of people
- 12:55Speaker 4: have turned their hobbies into side hustle.
- 12:58Speaker 1: That's correct.
- 12:59Speaker 4: So now knowing that you have a side hustle, what
- 13:03Speaker 4: is your hobby away from your side?
- 13:05Speaker 1: That's very important, you know what I mean?
- 13:07Speaker 3: Yes, so it's such a good question.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I hope that I could make money of crosswords someday. Anyway,
- 13:14Speaker 1: that's later. Do you want to tell us what's happening
- 13:18Speaker 1: on that? What's the place called for the p what's.
- 13:22Speaker 4: An accident at Polkad and zievn Wacht Link Road in
- 13:25Speaker 4: Kales River and another accident at the R three of
- 13:27Speaker 4: four and the R three twelve in Paul Farms.
- 13:30Speaker 3: My name is Cassidy Couture.
- 13:35Speaker 4: No, no, I'm just laughing because Karen Anne is sitting
- 13:39Speaker 4: right next.
- 13:40Speaker 3: To me, and I also so they they scruged earlier.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Do you see how I said that, well, are you back?
- 13:46Speaker 1: Welcome back?
- 13:47Speaker 3: So early when I said.
- 13:49Speaker 4: Got tunka came out, but now I said it and
- 13:53Speaker 4: you also like, who is this anyway? Yes, if you
- 14:01Speaker 4: have any other Afrikaans words that you want to send me,
- 14:05Speaker 4: or if you have any traffic updates which would be preferred,
- 14:09Speaker 4: just pop me on WhatsApp on A two nine four
- 14:11Speaker 4: five zero nine four zero.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Donkey kadunka MOI play some time. It is training lucas.
- 14:19Speaker 1: This one's called joy Ride on the flash drive in
- 14:23Speaker 1: KFM ninety four point five. Now, while you were working,
- 14:27Speaker 1: I was working for you and I found some stuff,
- 14:29Speaker 1: including this nonsense says second born kids really might be
- 14:35Speaker 1: the troublemakers.
- 14:35Speaker 3: Makes sense?
- 14:36Speaker 1: Sense?
- 14:37Speaker 3: Makes sense? You know why because excuse me, I'm talking.
- 14:44Speaker 4: Gol is the second born and the middle child. So
- 14:48Speaker 4: of course he's gonna cause nonsense because he needed attention
- 14:52Speaker 4: because he's most the middle child.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Let's study involving researchers from MIT you found that second
- 14:56Speaker 1: born boys are why am I why? Why do I
- 15:00Speaker 1: get this? We're twenty to forty percent more likely than
- 15:04Speaker 1: the firstborn brothers to have behavioral problems, including being disciplined
- 15:10Speaker 1: at school and entering the criminal justice system. Researchers suggest
- 15:14Speaker 1: the parental attention yes so cassidy and the influence of
- 15:18Speaker 1: older siblings could play a role. Firstborn children have adults
- 15:21Speaker 1: as their main role models, while second bores also have
- 15:24Speaker 1: an older child to learn from. It. Apparently that can
- 15:26Speaker 1: mean a little bit more mischief and rebellion because they
- 15:29Speaker 1: are sabotaged by the oldest sibling. Yeah, that wasn't in there.
- 15:33Speaker 1: I added that.
- 15:33Speaker 3: I'm just saying I called you.
- 15:36Speaker 1: I clucked you, bro, I clucked you. I don't believe that.
- 15:40Speaker 4: I don't clucked you from the minute you said I'm
- 15:42Speaker 4: a metal child.
- 15:44Speaker 1: That I am, and I'm a proud middle child. Yeah
- 15:47Speaker 1: you know, just I can I can do things. No, no, don't.
- 15:51Speaker 1: Don't come here with the WhatsApp saying truth. No, don't know.
- 15:55Speaker 1: You have to keep these thoughts to yourself, to say,
- 15:58Speaker 1: keep it to yourself.
- 15:59Speaker 3: That's why you use by a bush barefoot.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Come on, and it was a hedge. It wasn't a bush.
- 16:05Speaker 1: It was bougier than that.
- 16:08Speaker 4: At eight, mind you see, second born, this was just
- 16:14Speaker 4: a I'm also directing.
- 16:16Speaker 1: This at my sister.
- 16:17Speaker 3: Mind you, But I don't second born.
- 16:20Speaker 1: I don't mind, because the thing is the virtue of
- 16:22Speaker 1: us second borns is that we can do anything, anything anything.
- 16:28Speaker 1: I'm just saying, we are just that we we we
- 16:30Speaker 1: have little resources, but we make a plan. Man, that's
- 16:33Speaker 1: what I'm talking about, little resources. Put the hand me down.
- 16:37Speaker 1: That's the problem. You know, when it gets really bad,
- 16:42Speaker 1: it gets you touch on. You know what's really bad,
- 16:45Speaker 1: Cassidy is when you grow up in a place where
- 16:47Speaker 1: your mom is like, no, man, you can wear these
- 16:51Speaker 1: but these are these are the underpants that my brother wore.
- 16:55Speaker 1: But I washed them now I know, but they have
- 16:59Speaker 1: holes in. But no, men, they're not going to see
- 17:02Speaker 1: that part what you are anyway.
- 17:06Speaker 3: I'm telling you. It's like it's a script because I've
- 17:09Speaker 3: done the same thing to us.
- 17:11Speaker 4: You know what.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Okay, here we go for anybody who is a middle
- 17:14Speaker 1: child and second mon please rise for our anthem.
- 17:25Speaker 3: Let your hand me downs?
- 17:28Speaker 1: Thank you? Right? That is so true? No man, all right.
- 17:37Speaker 1: I asked you about hobbies earlier. This is the reason
- 17:39Speaker 1: because old school hobbies are making a comeback. And we've
- 17:41Speaker 1: known this all the way since twenty twenty, but it's
- 17:43Speaker 1: really big now because netting, gardening, baking and other old
- 17:47Speaker 1: school hobbies are making a massive comeback for so many groups.
- 17:50Speaker 1: A Frontiers and Public Health study of more than seven
- 17:53Speaker 1: thousand adults found the people who took part in arts
- 17:55Speaker 1: and crafts reported higher happiness, life satisfaction, and a stronger
- 17:59Speaker 1: sense that life was worthwhile also gave them a great
- 18:02Speaker 1: excuse to stay indoors. Gardening has also been linked with
- 18:05Speaker 1: improvements and well being in quality of life, according to
- 18:08Speaker 1: a review of forty studies. What do you mean gardening?
- 18:11Speaker 1: The way I'm looking after my delicious monster? Come on, okay, queen,
- 18:15Speaker 1: that's it. And snake plants and my money plant and
- 18:20Speaker 1: my copy plant. Well, when growing up, I only had plants.
- 18:33Speaker 3: What do your hammy downs?
- 18:35Speaker 1: Anyway? Right? So I wanted to ask you about your hobbies.
- 18:39Speaker 1: That's that's what I wanted to do. So this is
- 18:41Speaker 1: the thing. I think traditional hobbies are coming back, but
- 18:44Speaker 1: I know some people are very unique hobbies all over. Like,
- 18:46Speaker 1: I want to know what Peatrice's hobby is. You probably
- 18:48Speaker 1: got a cool hobby the way he goes. In fact, Petrice,
- 18:50Speaker 1: can you walk in here for a second.
- 18:52Speaker 3: I'm kind of scared.
- 18:53Speaker 1: About your hobby. No, wait, let's find out. I just
- 18:57Speaker 1: want to know if he's got a hobby, and first
- 19:00Speaker 1: I need to ask first, Patrice, you do have a hobby, right,
- 19:04Speaker 1: Are you comfy? Yeah? You have a hobby, right, yes,
- 19:07Speaker 1: I do. Okay, now what is your hobby?
- 19:09Speaker 8: I like to people watch and then create backstories for them.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Are you saying because this is something that I do
- 19:18Speaker 1: at the airport often? Do you do this in like
- 19:21Speaker 1: restaurants and other places where you see people, like home
- 19:24Speaker 1: affairs or the master's office.
- 19:26Speaker 9: Yes?
- 19:26Speaker 1: Oh, so you make like reality TV narratives.
- 19:30Speaker 9: Like so, I'll tell you a quick one. Yes.
- 19:33Speaker 8: There's a restaurant refrequent and normally on a Wednesday. There's
- 19:37Speaker 8: this couple who's there. My story for them is that
- 19:41Speaker 8: they were married, they started a business which became very successful.
- 19:44Speaker 8: The pressure of the business led to the failure of
- 19:47Speaker 8: their marriage. But now the business is successful, they still
- 19:51Speaker 8: have to run this business. So once a week on
- 19:53Speaker 8: a Wednesday, they meet up at this restaurant to discuss
- 19:56Speaker 8: business matters. Then they always fight, and you know what
- 20:01Speaker 8: happens after a fight, there's makeup. Even though they divorced,
- 20:05Speaker 8: and it's rinse repeated. Next Wednesday they'll be there again.
- 20:11Speaker 8: I should probably go to the restaurant tonight and see
- 20:13Speaker 8: if they're there.
- 20:14Speaker 3: Actually, please let us know.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Hold on, This is a good hobby because you obviously
- 20:16Speaker 1: are picking up whenever you go to the restaurant, you're
- 20:19Speaker 1: getting a new episode.
- 20:21Speaker 8: Yes, and I mean every time you just create news
- 20:25Speaker 8: stories for new people because sometimes you don't see the
- 20:28Speaker 8: same people, like you know twice.
- 20:31Speaker 1: I was just thinking about a cool thing. Let's just
- 20:33Speaker 1: say you've made narratives for like five or six people
- 20:35Speaker 1: and they're all there at the same time. With that
- 20:37Speaker 1: counter as a reunion show. That is the reunion reunion show.
- 20:42Speaker 8: Even you know, when you like see two people and
- 20:46Speaker 8: you can see this as like a first date. Then
- 20:48Speaker 8: you go into the backstory of like how they grew
- 20:50Speaker 8: up and you know how they met. What was the
- 20:54Speaker 8: conversation like on you know, Tinder or bumble or whatever
- 20:58Speaker 8: people know the yellow app and how object yes, and
- 21:03Speaker 8: what's going to happen you know after the date?
- 21:06Speaker 9: Are they seeing each other again? Stuff like that?
- 21:09Speaker 1: How do you know they're not just work colleagues that
- 21:11Speaker 1: see each other outside of work.
- 21:12Speaker 9: It's all in the looks.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Okay, So this body language little there's body language little
- 21:16Speaker 1: cues that awkward touch of the hand, you know that
- 21:19Speaker 1: kind of thing, and the and the giggling, the laughing. Yes,
- 21:22Speaker 1: but the laugh has to be a forward lean. When
- 21:24Speaker 1: someone has a forward lean laugh, especially forgive me Cassidy,
- 21:28Speaker 1: when a woman has a forward lean laugh, there's such
- 21:31Speaker 1: a good towel that they're into you. So someone just
- 21:34Speaker 1: laughs and leans back. Then it's kind of like, okay, friend.
- 21:38Speaker 1: But when they lean forward and they're kind of getting
- 21:42Speaker 1: close to you while laughing, that's all. That's a towel.
- 21:44Speaker 9: Look at this and the food that they order.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Ah, what would count as a food that would denote
- 21:49Speaker 1: that there's something going on? Would it be something that's more.
- 21:52Speaker 8: Top us or anything that doesn't have garlic in it?
- 21:56Speaker 1: No garlic food, No garlic towel.
- 21:58Speaker 3: And you said, sadly ordered the salad because it's not
- 22:00Speaker 3: going to bloat her.
- 22:01Speaker 1: Ah good, you don't want that because you're wearing a pretty.
- 22:03Speaker 4: Dress and now you've got like a stomach pain because
- 22:07Speaker 4: you're wearing two sets of spanks.
- 22:09Speaker 9: I want to go to a restaurant with Cassidy.
- 22:12Speaker 3: Much fun.
- 22:13Speaker 1: This is just a beautiful it's developing.
- 22:15Speaker 3: You know where the danger is.
- 22:17Speaker 1: This is so good cass is becoming Shonda Rhymes. Now, okay,
- 22:22Speaker 1: great stuff. Hey Kayley, I sorry, we're just talking about
- 22:27Speaker 1: Beatrice's hobby of creating reality TV out of normal places.
- 22:30Speaker 1: You imagine what he's like at kDa. Can you only
- 22:36Speaker 1: imagine that? In fact, old I'm not going to get
- 22:38Speaker 1: into that. It's got another kettle of fish there, Katie.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Do you have an interesting hobby while we.
- 22:43Speaker 5: Here, I do have an interesting hobby. I do sheep sharing.
- 22:48Speaker 5: All thought it as a little hobby and then it
- 22:50Speaker 5: turned into a job. I do do it for for
- 22:54Speaker 5: the fun of us.
- 22:57Speaker 1: How you see they are facillity pedal I got it right.
- 23:02Speaker 1: You walk into a pedal place and you know it's
- 23:04Speaker 1: paddle place. How did you did you go to the
- 23:07Speaker 1: inn seven and then just walk off the road quickly
- 23:09Speaker 1: and say, right, sheep, let's go like this got to
- 23:13Speaker 1: be a kid? How did you get into sheep shearing?
- 23:15Speaker 5: And actually it wasn't notice, It wasn't something I planned
- 23:19Speaker 5: on doing ever, so out of the blue. I actually
- 23:22Speaker 5: had a discussion about this the other day. But what
- 23:24Speaker 5: happened is Donkey years ago, yeah, years ago, we went
- 23:31Speaker 5: on a little arting for school high school. Back then,
- 23:35Speaker 5: and they took us to this agricultural farm, you know,
- 23:37Speaker 5: to open your perspective about like vegetables and how the
- 23:41Speaker 5: grading system works. And he the former they had cheap
- 23:44Speaker 5: and he said, listen, the boys they can now go
- 23:47Speaker 5: stand there and they cannot look and you know, try
- 23:49Speaker 5: for themselves. And the girls concern by the wool table.
- 23:51Speaker 5: And I said, actually, you know what, that's unfair because
- 23:54Speaker 5: as a woman, I'm also allowed to do this. Now
- 23:57Speaker 5: I want to try it. I'm want to do that.
- 23:59Speaker 5: And so when the guy asked who wants to try
- 24:01Speaker 5: the sheep sharing first, you know, he raise nine and said, hello,
- 24:05Speaker 5: I'd like.
- 24:05Speaker 8: To try it.
- 24:05Speaker 5: And he saw me and you like me. And then
- 24:08Speaker 5: the same people saw that, you know, I look like
- 24:11Speaker 5: I've got an interest into them. They sponsored me to
- 24:13Speaker 5: go on training to go to sheepshearing, and then further
- 24:16Speaker 5: along a few weeks, a few months, I've got my
- 24:18Speaker 5: license to do sheep hearing. And then I just thought,
- 24:21Speaker 5: you know what, I've got this. I worked hard for
- 24:23Speaker 5: it because it's definitely not an easy job. It's very
- 24:26Speaker 5: labor intensive. You can imagine, you know, picking up a
- 24:29Speaker 5: at kilo u or running after hundred kilo ram trying
- 24:33Speaker 5: to catch it and then hold it together. And so
- 24:36Speaker 5: I turned it obviously into a little business. It's not
- 24:39Speaker 5: full time, it's a seasonal thing, but I do enjoy
- 24:42Speaker 5: it with everything.
- 24:43Speaker 3: Needless to say, you don't have a gym contract, and.
- 24:46Speaker 5: You actually did get a gym contract to get stronger
- 24:48Speaker 5: in my sheep hearing.
- 24:49Speaker 1: Yeah, come on, they are there are There are definitely
- 24:52Speaker 1: things that you need for this. I'm so spellbound by
- 24:55Speaker 1: the story, but I would never picture someone it's that
- 24:58Speaker 1: kind of like I really I'm into sheep sharing because
- 25:00Speaker 1: obviously there's the animal there and you want to be
- 25:02Speaker 1: calm and the animal too. You want them to know
- 25:05Speaker 1: that you're there and it's it's safe for them. So
- 25:07Speaker 1: there's a lot of that going on in your mind.
- 25:09Speaker 1: And then catching a ram. Wow, when you said eighty
- 25:12Speaker 1: kilogram you that's the way most people look at themselves
- 25:15Speaker 1: in winter ahead of summer, and then they need to
- 25:18Speaker 1: make a gym contract. Move But I get it. But
- 25:20Speaker 1: just this is so cool. So with the actually like
- 25:23Speaker 1: the wall that gets made into stuff, right, that's how
- 25:26Speaker 1: it happens, Okay, processed, and this is amazing.
- 25:30Speaker 5: It's a super interesting things. Actually, go YouTube for those
- 25:34Speaker 5: listening that you want to go see.
- 25:35Speaker 1: More into it please.
- 25:36Speaker 5: There's also a lot of championships. Last year I think
- 25:39Speaker 5: it was last year years ago. From a bit behind now,
- 25:42Speaker 5: but two South Africans won the championship. Yeah, pretty cool.
- 25:48Speaker 1: So is this an expensive hobby or sheep.
- 25:51Speaker 6: The sheep?
- 25:53Speaker 5: The equipment would be expensive, yes, but you obviously make
- 25:55Speaker 5: it worth your while in terms of working working it
- 25:58Speaker 5: down your numbers.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Yea perfect.
- 26:02Speaker 5: Well there you got a very interesting hobby.
- 26:08Speaker 1: I'm taking it back. Thank you very much. Yo. That
- 26:10Speaker 1: was incredible. Kylie. We will follow you and we need
- 26:14Speaker 1: to see this in motion. And you have a handle
- 26:16Speaker 1: where you you post some of this, these these sheep
- 26:19Speaker 1: content things, right do you No?
- 26:22Speaker 5: I just love life.
- 26:23Speaker 9: Okay, that's good, very grounded.
- 26:26Speaker 1: You should consider like a website www dot k you
- 26:32Speaker 1: have a great day. We have a sheep sharer in
- 26:35Speaker 1: our midst as a hobby. That see, that's how crazy.
- 26:38Speaker 1: I don't think anybody can beat that today.
- 26:40Speaker 3: No, definitely maybe they can.
- 26:42Speaker 1: I want to put that to the test though, can
- 26:44Speaker 1: someone beat a sheep sharing hobby? Is that even possible?
- 26:49Speaker 1: What's your hobby? Suku Ah, good hobby? Good one. There crosswords,
- 26:56Speaker 1: big time cool love a crossword, that's my vibe.
- 27:00Speaker 3: We should get us to sit down together, put a
- 27:02Speaker 3: timer on so you can finish.
- 27:03Speaker 1: Why does everything have to be a competition with you?
- 27:05Speaker 1: Everything has to be just enjoy it.
- 27:09Speaker 3: It's it's because I'm a firstborn.
- 27:11Speaker 1: That I can hear that. Trust me. And it's been
- 27:13Speaker 1: so bad. The crosswords that I did growing up, they
- 27:16Speaker 1: were half done because they were hand me done. Anyway. Traffic,
- 27:22Speaker 1: it's this pick and pay. What is four wheels that
- 27:25Speaker 1: is driven by a champion. It's you and your pickup
- 27:27Speaker 1: page trolley. So shop like a champion. You can eat
- 27:29Speaker 1: like one two. It's Alex Warren fever dream. Do you
- 27:34Speaker 1: know what his hobby is? Tell me skateboarding.
- 27:38Speaker 3: That's fine.
- 27:39Speaker 1: He's a skateboarder. Before he rose to fame on social
- 27:42Speaker 1: media in twenty fifteen. Around that time he was posting
- 27:45Speaker 1: skateboarding videos. You can go all the way back and
- 27:47Speaker 1: go check them out on different platforms. There was Alex
- 27:49Speaker 1: Warren prior to him dropping Ordinary, which became a global
- 27:52Speaker 1: hits and now it's a super super superstar. That's how
- 27:54Speaker 1: it goes the reason why our hobbying is a thing
- 27:57Speaker 1: because It's an interesting study that we found because old
- 28:00Speaker 1: scoore hobbies are back. Seven thousand adults were surveyed according
- 28:04Speaker 1: to the Frontiers and Public Health study, and it turns
- 28:06Speaker 1: out that people are searching for happiness, life satisfaction, and
- 28:09Speaker 1: the strongest sense that life was worthwhile. And over the
- 28:13Speaker 1: course of forty studies found that the old school hobbies
- 28:16Speaker 1: have made a significant rise in I'm just going to say,
- 28:20Speaker 1: in people getting them and doing them and making it
- 28:23Speaker 1: happen for their own good. Of course, staying at home
- 28:26Speaker 1: is also on the rise, which means you need something
- 28:28Speaker 1: that's very stimulating at home. Yeah. The level that was
- 28:31Speaker 1: set earlier was sheep, shearing. We have to say that
- 28:34Speaker 1: Kayley is like all the way up there, and I mean,
- 28:37Speaker 1: while we hear, there are some others. Now, you don't
- 28:39Speaker 1: Taylor Swift's hobby. She creates custom snow globes. That's Tom
- 28:47Speaker 1: Hanks collects vintage typewriters.
- 28:50Speaker 3: That's very cool.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Yeah. You know Ryan Gosling and Julia Roberts they knit.
- 28:57Speaker 3: Yeah, Okay.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Henry Cavill, he is good looking.
- 29:01Speaker 3: That's his hobby.
- 29:02Speaker 1: Hobby.
- 29:03Speaker 3: Yeah, he also collects watches.
- 29:05Speaker 1: Yeah, but no one looks at a A A A
- 29:08Speaker 1: look here, keep your thirst out of your mouth. So
- 29:15Speaker 1: he actually Warhammer is his favorite table top game, Warhammer
- 29:20Speaker 1: forty k and he actually paints the miniatures and restores
- 29:24Speaker 1: a couple of as well. Beyonce, as you may imagine,
- 29:27Speaker 1: is beekeeping.
- 29:28Speaker 3: Yeah, beehived.
- 29:31Speaker 1: Mike Tyson, you like him, right, guys comments.
- 29:37Speaker 4: We would both not have an impediment if we lived
- 29:39Speaker 4: in Bathlon.
- 29:40Speaker 1: No, if you both would be very easy. Hey, it
- 29:43Speaker 1: looks blon pigeon racing.
- 29:47Speaker 3: I know that because my uncle also races pigeons.
- 29:50Speaker 1: You didn't tell me you have an uncle that racist pigeon.
- 29:52Speaker 1: That's so cool. So nice keeps them his house. Yeah.
- 29:56Speaker 1: So there are a few of these celebrity hobbies I know. Yeah,
- 30:01Speaker 1: mine is, Yours is sudoku.
- 30:03Speaker 3: Yes, I do it whenever I go on a plane.
- 30:06Speaker 4: Yeah, to pass the time that's we're reading. Otherwise, whenever
- 30:10Speaker 4: I go to an audition. It's a great way of
- 30:12Speaker 4: staying present while stimulating your brain because I find a
- 30:16Speaker 4: lot of the time people will want to go and
- 30:18Speaker 4: you know, chit chats and stuff like that, and it's like, no,
- 30:21Speaker 4: then you take yourself out of the prep.
- 30:23Speaker 3: So I'm a big fan.
- 30:24Speaker 4: Sometimes I put a time on see how quickly I
- 30:26Speaker 4: can get them done.
- 30:27Speaker 1: Crosswords yes for me, deftiny, But I would say that
- 30:31Speaker 1: board gaming is up there to board gaming. I love you.
- 30:35Speaker 1: I love sampling board games and different ones. And it's
- 30:39Speaker 1: the best feeling ever to get stuck into a game.
- 30:41Speaker 1: And I think there's always this little thing that happens
- 30:44Speaker 1: the beginning. To understand the game, you have to watch
- 30:46Speaker 1: a YouTube video and then do a walk through and
- 30:48Speaker 1: run through and play a practice round, and then when
- 30:50Speaker 1: you locked in, you start realizing, oh my, well, this
- 30:52Speaker 1: game has been so well put together, and now I'm excited.
- 30:55Speaker 1: And I love that feeling. It's like I chase that
- 30:57Speaker 1: feeling of like figuring out a game and then rolling said, oh,
- 31:00Speaker 1: it's the best feeding ever. Cameron was so, Cameron, you're
- 31:05Speaker 1: up against sheep shearing? Good luck. What's your hobby?
- 31:09Speaker 10: Definitely not cheap sharing.
- 31:10Speaker 1: But it's crocheting, all right, That's that's very big crocheting.
- 31:15Speaker 1: It's huge. What is the biggest project that you've hit
- 31:18Speaker 1: as a as a crochet extraordinary?
- 31:22Speaker 10: Well, the biggest I did was I did a life
- 31:25Speaker 10: size Fox. It was for a newborn, so it was
- 31:29Speaker 10: almost like three times the size of the newborn, but
- 31:31Speaker 10: it was it was a long project.
- 31:33Speaker 1: There a fox. That's so cool. That's very cool. Please
- 31:37Speaker 1: send a pic when you got some time. That'd be
- 31:39Speaker 1: so cool to see her. Oh man, And who got
- 31:42Speaker 1: you into crocheting? Is it something that you picked up
- 31:44Speaker 1: from a friend colleague or is it something that you
- 31:46Speaker 1: picked up alone?
- 31:47Speaker 10: It was actually my girlfriend was volunteering at a place
- 31:52Speaker 10: called Bless the Baby, and I saw her crochee. I thought, actually,
- 31:55Speaker 10: that looks pretty interesting. Now can you teach me? So
- 31:58Speaker 10: she taught me how to make just the basic blankets
- 32:01Speaker 10: and stuff like that, and then from there I was like, well,
- 32:05Speaker 10: look I need to find out what else I can
- 32:06Speaker 10: actually make, and I got stuck onto making little bees
- 32:10Speaker 10: and then from there it just became foxes, bunnies, and
- 32:14Speaker 10: I just explored whatever I could possibly make, and it's
- 32:17Speaker 10: now becomes such a fun hobby of mine, especially the
- 32:21Speaker 10: fact that I do it for a good cause, which
- 32:24Speaker 10: was just for fun.
- 32:27Speaker 1: Less a Baby is that the name of the organization.
- 32:29Speaker 10: Yeah, that's one of the organizations I help. And then
- 32:32Speaker 10: also better as Guardian Angels, they benefit quite a bit
- 32:36Speaker 10: from the sales. I make from all the Croshes.
- 32:38Speaker 1: It's so cool, man Cameron. And then what's your day job.
- 32:41Speaker 10: I'm actually a sales rep, which helps me quite a
- 32:44Speaker 10: bit when it comes to advertising the Krosher of course.
- 32:47Speaker 1: Oh that's brilliant man Cameron. Thanks for sharing and please
- 32:50Speaker 1: send picks. I'd like to see your work.

- 32:59Speaker 1: What's your hobby?
- 33:01Speaker 7: Well, my hobby is a slot car racing.
- 33:04Speaker 1: Stock car racing or yes? Is it? Did you say
- 33:09Speaker 1: stock now? St slot cars?
- 33:12Speaker 3: Slot?
- 33:13Speaker 1: Yes, slot car racing.
- 33:16Speaker 10: Yes.
- 33:17Speaker 1: Okay, now you have to break it down for us.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Now have you ever have you heard of a slot
- 33:21Speaker 1: car race?
- 33:22Speaker 4: No, I've heard of the stock car racing, but not
- 33:24Speaker 4: the slot car racing.
- 33:25Speaker 1: What this is interesting? Slot car racing?
- 33:29Speaker 7: Yes? So our hobby club actually has a Facebook page.
- 33:33Speaker 7: So every Friday night we are actually racing inside of
- 33:36Speaker 7: a double garage.
- 33:39Speaker 1: Are you like like scalelectrics like that sort of thing?
- 33:42Speaker 1: Oh my word, what a club? There's a club for this?
- 33:46Speaker 6: No?
- 33:47Speaker 1: What? Sorry you're the boy. Sorry I didn't know this.
- 33:53Speaker 1: This is new to me.
- 33:54Speaker 4: When do you hang out away.
- 33:59Speaker 7: You hang out every Friday nights at in Maitland. Is
- 34:03Speaker 7: the place on our Facebook page. There is a map
- 34:07Speaker 7: that should give us our exact location, so there a
- 34:11Speaker 7: tree of our club is the but Ken Cambridge Road
- 34:15Speaker 7: in Maitland.
- 34:15Speaker 1: Are you Cambridge Slot Car Club? Yes? I see it
- 34:19Speaker 1: on Facebook? Heear I got in front of me. That
- 34:21Speaker 1: is so cool. I didn't even know there's a club
- 34:22Speaker 1: for us. This is so cool and I'm assuming you
- 34:25Speaker 1: got you got involved with us through being were those
- 34:29Speaker 1: kids that got that as a toy? Right? Is that
- 34:31Speaker 1: how you got into it?
- 34:32Speaker 2: No?
- 34:33Speaker 7: I got into it when I was a lot younger,
- 34:36Speaker 7: thirteen when I started, and I still always wanted to
- 34:41Speaker 7: become a racing driver. Yeah, and this was the cheaper
- 34:45Speaker 7: option my parents came up with. And I've been racing
- 34:48Speaker 7: with the club ever since then.
- 34:51Speaker 1: Are the international competitions for slot car races.
- 34:55Speaker 7: So we don't actually the East International Races, but our
- 34:59Speaker 7: Crimary actually doesn't take part in it. But we do
- 35:02Speaker 7: have a event that we run but once three times
- 35:06Speaker 7: a year called the SAMCA Nationals. Okay, we different clubs
- 35:11Speaker 7: from Johannesburg, East London, Port Elizabeth all over come to
- 35:16Speaker 7: one different club just for about three to four days,
- 35:19Speaker 7: just to raise.
- 35:20Speaker 1: That's so cool. Did have you messaged kayton No, it's fine,
- 35:26Speaker 1: give you an email later. This is so cool man?
- 35:29Speaker 1: Why why?
- 35:30Speaker 7: No?
- 35:30Speaker 1: This is so I'm freaking out because it's so cool.
- 35:32Speaker 1: But now here's the thing with a slot cars, Like
- 35:35Speaker 1: when the scalelectrics track and you know, doing that sort
- 35:38Speaker 1: of thing like how does a car go faster? There's slots,
- 35:41Speaker 1: so like how do you even? You know, it's very
- 35:44Speaker 1: interesting because then it's about like the current that goes
- 35:46Speaker 1: through on these tracks that makes your car faster? Is
- 35:49Speaker 1: it aerodynamics? Is that how light your vehicle is in
- 35:52Speaker 1: the slot. I'm so fascinated by this. We could talk
- 35:55Speaker 1: about this for hours, but I don't have an hour.
- 35:57Speaker 10: So basically all our cars is LIMP should.
- 36:00Speaker 11: Buy its way.
- 36:01Speaker 7: Ah, there we go like this two cars at the
- 36:04Speaker 7: moment that we are brought in that we use brushless
- 36:07Speaker 7: motors and these motors you traveling excess speed of I
- 36:13Speaker 7: say scale speed of three hundred to four hundred kilometers
- 36:16Speaker 7: an hour.
- 36:16Speaker 1: What this is better and better. The more I talk
- 36:21Speaker 1: to you, the more excited I get. I'm like a
- 36:23Speaker 1: kid on Christmas. Cure, dude, this is so cool, honestly
- 36:27Speaker 1: so slot car racing. I'm going to send everybody to
- 36:29Speaker 1: Cambridge Slot Car Club and to Maitland. They have to
- 36:33Speaker 1: come and support you. And it sounds so cool. And
- 36:36Speaker 1: I'm sure there are places you can buy these things,
- 36:38Speaker 1: so like I can get my car on the on
- 36:39Speaker 1: the slot.
- 36:41Speaker 7: That's the only thing.
- 36:42Speaker 10: There.
- 36:42Speaker 7: Used to be a place that you could actually be
- 36:44Speaker 7: the best place to go and buy, but they no
- 36:47Speaker 7: longer exist.
- 36:48Speaker 1: Wow, so the only.
- 36:49Speaker 7: Place is now to buy from is the hobby clubs themselves.
- 36:53Speaker 1: Okay, I got you, man, This is so exciting. Thank
- 36:56Speaker 1: you for sharing. I must say, sheep shearing is up

- 37:33Speaker 11: I enjoy home brew, beer brewing.
- 37:36Speaker 1: Ah, this is a throwback to twenty twenty.
- 37:38Speaker 4: I was gonna ask because that's the way.
- 37:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 37:42Speaker 1: Yes, to be honest with us, you started twenty twenty,
- 37:44Speaker 1: you started there, right.
- 37:45Speaker 11: No, I finally started recently the beginning of this year.
- 37:49Speaker 1: So did you get there that big copper thing in
- 37:52Speaker 1: the backyard with the pipes? Did you do that sort
- 37:54Speaker 1: of thing in your b How does this? Why do
- 37:59Speaker 1: you brew it?
- 37:59Speaker 2: Home?
- 38:01Speaker 11: So there's there's two ways. You can buy a concentrate
- 38:04Speaker 11: that everything is included and you add the water and
- 38:06Speaker 11: you added to your fermentator and then you bottle it
- 38:08Speaker 11: and then you can drink it. Or you could do
- 38:11Speaker 11: a whole grain is where you do the whole barley
- 38:13Speaker 11: hobs and you boil it down and then you've got
- 38:15Speaker 11: to fermentated and bottle it can drink it.
- 38:18Speaker 1: So are you making are you making moonshine? Are you
- 38:23Speaker 1: making my mood? No? I'm not.
- 38:24Speaker 11: I'm not just selling. I'm brewing.
- 38:29Speaker 1: I mean that's a recap down thing. We brew a
- 38:30Speaker 1: lot of your brew? Yeah, we are, No, so so,
- 38:36Speaker 1: And I mean how was the first your first batch?
- 38:39Speaker 1: Was it good?
- 38:41Speaker 11: Yeah, so I think the first batch was really good.
- 38:43Speaker 11: And then I just got hooked on it really and
- 38:46Speaker 11: I joined the club. And the guys are really cool
- 38:49Speaker 11: in the club.
- 38:50Speaker 1: There's a club. There's a club for them too.
- 38:53Speaker 11: There's even competitions amongst the clubs and Western Province colors.
- 38:57Speaker 1: So yeah, you get Western Province colors in brewing. No ways, absolutely,
