Latest / The Paul Barron Crypto Show / Crypto Self-Custody + Tangem Roadmap️🔥INTERVIEW
Transcript
- 0:06Speaker 1: My name is Paul Barren. Welcome back in the tech Path.
- 0:08Speaker 1: It's going to be a good one today because we're
- 0:09Speaker 1: going to be breaking this down with the Tangum team
- 0:12Speaker 1: and really trying to get an idea of how self
- 0:15Speaker 1: custody can be so critical in your crypto strategy. So
- 0:18Speaker 1: we'll dive in deep. I'm going to bring David Wilshner on,
- 0:21Speaker 1: who is one of the brand ambassadors over at Tangum.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Great to have you back, David.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Thank you, Paul. I really appreciate that you're going to
- 0:28Speaker 2: give us a chance again to talk about Tangum, the
- 0:30Speaker 2: great experience we had made over the past month together,
- 0:33Speaker 2: and also are very very interesting new upcoming features and
- 0:36Speaker 2: all that stuff you're going to need to know about
- 0:38Speaker 2: self custodio self custody and also how to swap on
- 0:41Speaker 2: Tangum directly your cryptos without any issues. Thank you very
- 0:44Speaker 2: much for having us today.
- 0:46Speaker 1: Yeah, very cool. Well, a couple of things we are
- 0:48Speaker 1: going to do guys, just to let everybody know, on
- 0:50Speaker 1: our next episode with with this wallet, we are going
- 0:53Speaker 1: to be doing an announcement today of two of the
- 0:56Speaker 1: Tangent Marine giveaways, which, of course if you have not
- 0:59Speaker 1: seen the ring, then you guys need to take a
- 1:02Speaker 1: look at it. It's pretty, it's a pretty snappy device,
- 1:05Speaker 1: works tremendously effective, and it's going to be given away
- 1:08Speaker 1: to some of our Diamond Circle members. So if you're
- 1:10Speaker 1: not part of the Diamond Circle, sign up right now.
- 1:12Speaker 1: That way you'll still get a chance to be able
- 1:15Speaker 1: for that little giveaway that we're going to be doing. David,
- 1:18Speaker 1: let's kind of just jump into self custody in general.
- 1:21Speaker 1: A couple of the things that have been looking I think,
- 1:25Speaker 1: you know, from a market standpoint is there's one huge surge.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Even with our own you know, partnerships, we've seen a
- 1:32Speaker 1: lot more clicks on people going over to whether it's
- 1:36Speaker 1: the Tangent wallet or getting you know, software wallets, et cetera.
- 1:39Speaker 1: But a lot of people now going into self custody.
- 1:42Speaker 1: And when you look at the self custody landscape and
- 1:46Speaker 1: you think about the different products and services, obviously I
- 1:49Speaker 1: know your strengths, but is this something do you feel
- 1:52Speaker 1: that has finally got into mainstream where just a regular,
- 1:56Speaker 1: brand new crypto user is starting to use it?
- 2:00Speaker 2: Oh? Absolutely, And I really love that you bring up
- 2:02Speaker 2: that question. I mean, in general, all over the world.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Everybody is aware that keeping your fiat money into your
- 2:08Speaker 2: pocket is most likely the safest way to really have
- 2:11Speaker 2: control about that. I mean you can have it in
- 2:13Speaker 2: a bank, you can have it underneath your pillow, you
- 2:15Speaker 2: can have it everywhere you want, but in your pocket
- 2:17Speaker 2: you have absolutely control. And this is definitely the same
- 2:20Speaker 2: with your crypto assets. And I can really say congratulations
- 2:23Speaker 2: to everybody, no matter if you're one day, one week,
- 2:25Speaker 2: one month, or ten years into crypto market, that you
- 2:28Speaker 2: have understood that doing self custodal is not a punishment,
- 2:31Speaker 2: it's a blessing. And this is really phenomenon that people
- 2:35Speaker 2: understand that. And we really think that doing self custodal
- 2:39Speaker 2: you'll have to be simple. I mean you know it
- 2:42Speaker 2: by your own setting up a device two three, four
- 2:45Speaker 2: years ago. Not Tangum is a pain in the butt,
- 2:47Speaker 2: and we don't like that, and we really think that
- 2:50Speaker 2: have to be simple. And in our very first page
- 2:55Speaker 2: web page that we had created for Tangrum for our cards,
- 2:59Speaker 2: the main brand was tangibis the bridge between eight billion
- 3:02Speaker 2: people and the blockchain.
- 3:04Speaker 1: So I love it.
- 3:04Speaker 2: I mean, this is exactly what we all are.
- 3:07Speaker 1: I think a lot of people don't really understand the
- 3:10Speaker 1: simplicity of these wallets when you look at the NFC
- 3:14Speaker 1: type wallet technology that you guys have been able to
- 3:17Speaker 1: implement versus some of the other ones that are more
- 3:20Speaker 1: hardware oriented, where they've got the click in the screen
- 3:23Speaker 1: and a lot of the physical functionality of it. It's
- 3:26Speaker 1: a very one I feel like it's just a much
- 3:29Speaker 1: more clunky process to do it that way. One you've
- 3:31Speaker 1: got to carry the device, then you've got to either
- 3:33Speaker 1: Bluetooth connect it, then you've got to go through the
- 3:36Speaker 1: screen of setting it up, getting on the right network,
- 3:38Speaker 1: where with your app and the wallet itself is almost seamless.
- 3:43Speaker 1: I mean, it's just literally have it ready going into
- 3:46Speaker 1: the device itself. We're going to do a sample or
- 3:48Speaker 1: an example swap here in a minute to show people
- 3:51Speaker 1: just how easy that is. But before we go there,
- 3:53Speaker 1: I want to talk about user growth because we have
- 3:55Speaker 1: seen an expansion of questions and a lot of people
- 3:58Speaker 1: who have never done so custody before wanting to dive
- 4:02Speaker 1: into it. Are you guys seeing that kind of growth
- 4:04Speaker 1: in terms of your own user base? Oh?
- 4:07Speaker 2: Yeah, we have. I mean we're running a couple of
- 4:10Speaker 2: Telegram channels in multiple languages. Right now, we have done German,
- 4:14Speaker 2: in English and Russian, I think in Chinese, French, Italian.
- 4:20Speaker 2: We really have a lot of channels and we see
- 4:22Speaker 2: a tremendous amount of people running in asking really rookie questions.
- 4:26Speaker 2: What's perfect because we really want to help everybody to
- 4:29Speaker 2: protect their assets and their funds very very easy and safely.
- 4:32Speaker 2: And yeah, exactly what you said. There are a bunch
- 4:34Speaker 2: of new people coming in and asking and try to
- 4:38Speaker 2: get their hands on a good way how to store
- 4:40Speaker 2: their assets. And just as a little small edit that
- 4:43Speaker 2: what you said, just hooking up the device, make a
- 4:45Speaker 2: Bluetooth connection, you know, And here's a problem, charge your device,
- 4:49Speaker 2: believe it or not. I had brought yesterday a couple
- 4:52Speaker 2: of excerpt pete tokens. Yeah, a couple of excerpte tokens
- 4:56Speaker 2: from EXPERPT healthcare to an exchange. And I need to
- 4:59Speaker 2: grab my decent wallet, charge it, make it firmware, audit
- 5:04Speaker 2: and I'm ready to send something. It was thirty five
- 5:07Speaker 2: minutes past, so I meaneah, in the crypto market, it's
- 5:10Speaker 2: most likely a decade. And yeah, that's that's definitely plus
- 5:16Speaker 2: with us. So you're ready within seconds, Yeah, I.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Like the fact that it's it's very simple and easy,
- 5:22Speaker 1: and I think most people just recognize carrying a card,
- 5:26Speaker 1: which makes it very you know, very familiar, you know,
- 5:29Speaker 1: in terms of how to use it. I've been able
- 5:31Speaker 1: to train a handful of people. We have a kind
- 5:35Speaker 1: of a seminar that we host on you know, experiencing
- 5:38Speaker 1: blockchain for the first time. I do them every three
- 5:41Speaker 1: weeks on a Sunday. The last one we did had
- 5:43Speaker 1: one hundred people, and we we were you know, showcasing
- 5:47Speaker 1: the Tangent wallet and how it works. People were just
- 5:50Speaker 1: absolutely blown away that this was how self custody worked
- 5:53Speaker 1: and how easy it was. I'm looking though at your roadmap.
- 5:58Speaker 1: I'm over on your website right now and one of
- 6:00Speaker 1: the things I wanted to focus in on for Q four.
- 6:03Speaker 1: I know you guys have a lot going on. Obviously,
- 6:05Speaker 1: we've got a lot of new advancements. Talk to me
- 6:08Speaker 1: first about some of the new swapping features that you
- 6:11Speaker 1: guys have rolled out.
- 6:13Speaker 2: This is amazing. I mean I can tell you the
- 6:15Speaker 2: majority of the people know already that you can store
- 6:18Speaker 2: your assets very safety and security on tension, and they
- 6:22Speaker 2: also know that you can just send them away to
- 6:25Speaker 2: your exchange or another wallet, very easy and secure. But
- 6:28Speaker 2: what the majority of the people don't know, and if
- 6:31Speaker 2: you don't mind, I would like to show that to you.
- 6:33Speaker 2: You can also directly swap your assets on Tensrum and
- 6:37Speaker 2: this is something very very simple and easy. So just
- 6:41Speaker 2: imagine you're sitting at one hundred k bitcoin. I mean,
- 6:45Speaker 2: we have had that end of last week, and I
- 6:47Speaker 2: was sitting there on my computer and thought, okay, let's
- 6:50Speaker 2: lock into my binding's account and see what happens. And
- 6:52Speaker 2: what happened. Error, I couldn't lock into my buind's account
- 6:55Speaker 2: because it was not available. Because so many people want
- 6:58Speaker 2: to swap sell stuff, you know, and this is horrible
- 7:02Speaker 2: and this is what will definitely happen in the peak
- 7:05Speaker 2: times again. And therefore we have created tangem Express. And
- 7:09Speaker 2: what is tension Express. It means nothing more than swapping
- 7:12Speaker 2: your assets by cross chain swaps directly on tangiment. I
- 7:17Speaker 2: would love to show you very shortly how to work
- 7:19Speaker 2: what works. I mean, everybody knows Casper, the good Casper
- 7:22Speaker 2: with K you just grab it and say swap. I'm
- 7:25Speaker 2: sorry that it's in German. I'm most likely based in Germany,
- 7:28Speaker 2: So let's grab two hundred casper. It's roughly thirty five
- 7:32Speaker 2: bucks dollars. And let's say, you know what, swap it
- 7:35Speaker 2: to use the tea on Solana, And you see it's
- 7:39Speaker 2: definitely a cross chain swap.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Right.
- 7:41Speaker 2: What he's asking for is really for fourteen cents of
- 7:46Speaker 2: fees for the decks that he's grabbing. He's grabbing change.
- 7:49Speaker 2: Now we can also grab change lee, but there is
- 7:51Speaker 2: a little bit more fees around like that, and he's
- 7:53Speaker 2: asking for less than one cent of cass for gas
- 7:57Speaker 2: vee and out of my thirteen dot three four dollars
- 8:02Speaker 2: in casper worth, I get twenty eight dollars eighty six.
- 8:06Speaker 2: I mean the exchange also grabs a little bit of
- 8:08Speaker 2: a fee, but that's perfectly okay, and I say, okay,
- 8:10Speaker 2: I'm good with that. Let's say swap. The good thing
- 8:13Speaker 2: is nothing happens without my identity, my face. And now
- 8:17Speaker 2: he's asking me for my card. So what I do,
- 8:20Speaker 2: and this is my physical proof that I'm the owner
- 8:22Speaker 2: of that wallet. I just tap the card and this
- 8:26Speaker 2: is what it's done. The good thing is, even if
- 8:28Speaker 2: the exchange is working in the background a little bit
- 8:31Speaker 2: slow and the swap takes maybe an hour or two.
- 8:34Speaker 2: What could happen the peak time. Even with a quick
- 8:36Speaker 2: network like Casper, the swap is triggered, your prices is
- 8:41Speaker 2: secured and everything works. So I can go and close,
- 8:45Speaker 2: maybe go a little bit back, just refresh. Okay, there
- 8:51Speaker 2: is a little bit sent maybe over the next I
- 8:54Speaker 2: don't know, ten minutes. I can take a look here
- 8:56Speaker 2: and it will definitely arrive here. So you can see here.
- 8:58Speaker 2: You can see the swap already goes on to one
- 9:01Speaker 2: hundred cas into usity. So he recognized it already, but
- 9:04Speaker 2: he's working on it, and that's very okay. And this
- 9:07Speaker 2: is how you definitely can make sure that you get
- 9:10Speaker 2: the best price for your swap right away without losing security,
- 9:15Speaker 2: speed and spend toodles and doodles of gas fees. I
- 9:18Speaker 2: mean this was on CASPA very easy. You know, gas
- 9:21Speaker 2: fee is not a problem. But what is with ethereum
- 9:23Speaker 2: This is painful and we definitely have a very very
- 9:25Speaker 2: good option to make sure that you don't need to
- 9:28Speaker 2: grab the right network, take care about any goofy walet
- 9:31Speaker 2: addresses or maybe do a type of mistake. What definitely happens,
- 9:35Speaker 2: I mean, you know ite by your own and maybe
- 9:37Speaker 2: out of experience from your community. A lot of funds
- 9:39Speaker 2: get sent into the nirvana by selecting the wrong network,
- 9:44Speaker 2: and this is how you definitely also can support the
- 9:47Speaker 2: blockchain by reducing the amount of tokens, but you definitely
- 9:50Speaker 2: want to have that money, and this is what we
- 9:52Speaker 2: can do for our community to make it simple, safe
- 9:55Speaker 2: and also quick.
- 9:57Speaker 1: I want to talk about a few other things within
- 9:59Speaker 1: this saking. You've got the poke lot, which is pretty typical.
- 10:03Speaker 1: I mean, we've seen this before. In terms of the
- 10:05Speaker 1: app developments, a couple of new features in there. Are
- 10:08Speaker 1: there anything specifically outside of Tantum Express that you're really
- 10:13Speaker 1: excited about in terms of the roadmap?
- 10:16Speaker 2: Oh? Absolutely, So you have seen that we have a
- 10:18Speaker 2: lot of options of staking directly also intension available like
- 10:22Speaker 2: for example, right now we have Solana B and B,
- 10:25Speaker 2: Polygon Cosmos with the atom coin. We also have Tron
- 10:29Speaker 2: and many more are coming in the next months. Say
- 10:33Speaker 2: that we really need to make sure that we hit
- 10:35Speaker 2: the right partners, that we make the right decisions and
- 10:37Speaker 2: also grab that what our users are asking for. Something
- 10:40Speaker 2: that we're also pretty proud of is that we have
- 10:43Speaker 2: integrated Casper with c Over the last weeks into Tensium.
- 10:47Speaker 2: And we also have let me say, nearly ready KRC
- 10:52Speaker 2: twenty so CASPA the k Casper token support, so you
- 10:58Speaker 2: can definitely add any mean coins on Casper, hopefully by
- 11:02Speaker 2: the end of this month, directly your attention. We have
- 11:04Speaker 2: it on our better line. We're testing that right now
- 11:06Speaker 2: and make sure that everything works perfectly fine. We also
- 11:10Speaker 2: implemented what it connect for the Solana blockchain. We have
- 11:13Speaker 2: had some issues with that, but it's right now ready
- 11:16Speaker 2: and available. I think that was a really really important
- 11:18Speaker 2: pot topic, and Paul, I know that you and I
- 11:21Speaker 2: have talked in the very first meeting about that and
- 11:24Speaker 2: the second meeting about that, and now I can proudly
- 11:26Speaker 2: say we are working on NFT native support. We are
- 11:32Speaker 2: really working on it. I saw it.
- 11:35Speaker 1: I see it on your list. Here is December look
- 11:37Speaker 1: like the timeline that you could hit it on. That's
- 11:40Speaker 1: just around the corner.
- 11:42Speaker 2: I would say no, but I know that our team
- 11:45Speaker 2: is working very hard on it, but I will very honest.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Quality comes first for us, and before we're not one
- 11:51Speaker 2: hundred percent sure that everything works properly incorrectly, we do
- 11:55Speaker 2: not release it to our regular users. I know that
- 11:58Speaker 2: our engineering team is very hard on that and they
- 12:01Speaker 2: made the very first successful steps. But this is definitely
- 12:04Speaker 2: on the way.
- 12:06Speaker 1: So one of the things, one of the things I
- 12:09Speaker 1: do like, I was looking at further in this so
- 12:11Speaker 1: you're saying it's coming, we could see it maybe early
- 12:13Speaker 1: next year. It looks like I like the push notifications
- 12:16Speaker 1: for incoming transactions, the transaction history redesign. I think this
- 12:21Speaker 1: is going to be a big welcome. I'll welcome one
- 12:23Speaker 1: because I see that all the time of that and
- 12:26Speaker 1: then this explain this right here, transaction scam detection. Can
- 12:30Speaker 1: you tell me a little bit more about that.
- 12:33Speaker 2: Yeah, there are a lot of projects out there on
- 12:35Speaker 2: the market, like maybe happy aph Api or maybe Checkout
- 12:39Speaker 2: that are capable to track and also warn about scams
- 12:45Speaker 2: and maybe blind signing, you know, just a malicious contract,
- 12:48Speaker 2: et cetera, et cetera, And we're planning to integrate something
- 12:51Speaker 2: like that to make sure if we know, okay, this
- 12:53Speaker 2: is already a notified scam wallet address that we raise
- 12:58Speaker 2: our hands and say, hey, buddy, do you really want
- 13:00Speaker 2: to send something to that address? It is not safe.
- 13:02Speaker 2: We know that it's interesting, ok are you really sure?
- 13:05Speaker 2: So that's very important for us because security of our
- 13:08Speaker 2: users comes first before anything else, and we really need
- 13:10Speaker 2: to make sure that we do not let people scam
- 13:14Speaker 2: our customers.
- 13:15Speaker 1: So yeah, it's one thing. One thing that we have
- 13:18Speaker 1: noticed on the Phantom app primarily is wallet dusting, and
- 13:24Speaker 1: for users out there, it's basically where some of these
- 13:27Speaker 1: scam tokens will just you know, drop in deposits on
- 13:30Speaker 1: your wallet. In some cases pretty significant to pollt deposits,
- 13:34Speaker 1: and we've had people who have actually tried to swap those,
- 13:37Speaker 1: which enables them to gain access to your wallet. So
- 13:40Speaker 1: what you're saying is this type of feature that you're
- 13:42Speaker 1: starting to build in is a little bit more protection
- 13:47Speaker 1: around those kinds of events something like wallet dusting scenario.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Is that true?
- 13:53Speaker 2: Correct? The big problem is, I mean could you really
- 13:55Speaker 2: I mean, you can read a smart contract, but could
- 13:57Speaker 2: you understand what's written in there?
- 13:58Speaker 1: I couldn't do it.
- 13:59Speaker 2: I could do partially, but not in the overall in
- 14:02Speaker 2: the great scheme of things. But this is definitely something
- 14:04Speaker 2: that other projects can do, and we're integrating things like
- 14:07Speaker 2: that to make sure that we really protect our users
- 14:11Speaker 2: against any kind of fraud, what it drain, et cetera.
- 14:14Speaker 2: I mean, you perfectly explained it very very amazingly. I
- 14:18Speaker 2: never heard that worting what it's dusting, but this is
- 14:21Speaker 2: actually what it is. Yeah.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Yeah, they just drop a little dust in there. Sometimes
- 14:25Speaker 1: they'll drop more. They try to lure people in with
- 14:29Speaker 1: you know, hundreds or thousands of dollars or it appears
- 14:32Speaker 1: to be that in a wallet, and we've seen a
- 14:35Speaker 1: couple of people been scammed and have been. We do
- 14:38Speaker 1: a lot of kind of PSAs over on our Twitter
- 14:40Speaker 1: account that says, hey, if you get if you're getting
- 14:42Speaker 1: these kind of drops on these tokens, be very cautious
- 14:47Speaker 1: on those kind of exchanges if you're not recognizing the
- 14:49Speaker 1: transaction coming through. Other things I wanted to talk about
- 14:52Speaker 1: for you, and this is multiple addresses per account. Like
- 14:56Speaker 1: a wallet that resides on Phantom or COINBA S wallet,
- 15:00Speaker 1: et cetera. I can go in and create multiple wallets
- 15:02Speaker 1: within that account. With Tangum, I need multiple wallets physically
- 15:08Speaker 1: to do that. So is there any plan to be
- 15:10Speaker 1: able to create sub wallets or something I can assign
- 15:13Speaker 1: to a child or a friend or someone else in
- 15:16Speaker 1: my family to be able to control that.
- 15:20Speaker 2: So in generally we highly recommend for every new user
- 15:23Speaker 2: to have a new wallet. I mean that's important regarding
- 15:26Speaker 2: salty insecurity and also yeah, and also let me say,
- 15:29Speaker 2: separate your funds. You don't want to have any text
- 15:32Speaker 2: related swaps in there, you know, or maybe misconceptions. But
- 15:37Speaker 2: long story short, we are working since a couple of
- 15:40Speaker 2: months on multiple addresses. So this is something that we
- 15:43Speaker 2: definitely have an our roadmap and what we're playing to
- 15:46Speaker 2: integrate because we know that a lot of people are
- 15:48Speaker 2: asking for that.
- 15:48Speaker 1: But yeah, so for now, if I want multiple addresses,
- 15:52Speaker 1: I can add multiple devices to the single app, and
- 15:56Speaker 1: I can carry three, four or five cards if I want.
- 15:59Speaker 1: They're not that expensive, so it's fairly easy to do.
- 16:02Speaker 1: I do like the security mechanism, but I think it'll
- 16:04Speaker 1: be a welcome side to see multiple addresses coming in
- 16:08Speaker 1: For you guys, let's talk about things from some of
- 16:11Speaker 1: the major exchanges, like you think, well, let's look at
- 16:14Speaker 1: robin Hood. Robinhood would be an example. Any plans for
- 16:17Speaker 1: possibly doing swaps with some of these major exchanges, or
- 16:21Speaker 1: at least the capability as opposed to something like a
- 16:23Speaker 1: oka X.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Yeah, so we're really working very hard to onboard more partners.
- 16:30Speaker 2: I mean, you know, right now, we have multiple decentralized
- 16:33Speaker 2: exchanges and also centralized exchanges running on Tension Express. What
- 16:37Speaker 2: is attention swap that I showed a little bit earlier.
- 16:39Speaker 2: So right now we have one inch and Okay extacts
- 16:44Speaker 2: as definitely the center decentralised exchanges. We also have change
- 16:48Speaker 2: key change now and also change hero and I think
- 16:51Speaker 2: a cup to more. I mean, we're really integrating very
- 16:53Speaker 2: very quick right now, and I know that there are
- 16:56Speaker 2: three or four more coming. I cannot announce it officially,
- 16:59Speaker 2: but we're on some very big centristic exchanges to also
- 17:03Speaker 2: get them in.
- 17:04Speaker 1: Okay, well, I'll be watching for that. Let's talk about
- 17:08Speaker 1: other meme coin ecosystems. One out there that we've been
- 17:11Speaker 1: looking at has been XRP, and most of the time
- 17:14Speaker 1: you got to go to a you know XP market
- 17:16Speaker 1: you're working with you know, acquiring mean coins. A lot
- 17:19Speaker 1: of times you got to download almost these native platform wallets,
- 17:24Speaker 1: like in this particular Gamen, which is the one that
- 17:28Speaker 1: is available we can still integrate. I know we're getting
- 17:30Speaker 1: into a lot of details for those of you that
- 17:32Speaker 1: are maybe just brand new to this, and this is
- 17:35Speaker 1: for a more advanced user that's trying to do something
- 17:37Speaker 1: within the XRP ecosystem and you tie your Tangent wallet
- 17:40Speaker 1: to it. Is there any plan to get gham and
- 17:43Speaker 1: wallet support within Tangent to kind of reduce that thing. Yeah.
- 17:49Speaker 2: Sorry, So here's here's an interesting thing. Salmon wallet was
- 17:52Speaker 2: the very first one that we created. Hotwa what it's
- 17:54Speaker 2: for and part of the code is sterically from Tangent.
- 17:57Speaker 2: So let's gral them very very good and we know
- 18:00Speaker 2: them for a long time. And I can tell you
- 18:02Speaker 2: I have I have pleased our engineers almost a year
- 18:06Speaker 2: and a half ago that we can start creating exorp
- 18:10Speaker 2: trust lines to the Tangent mollet to really have that
- 18:12Speaker 2: connection for the tokens in there. But we have that
- 18:15Speaker 2: a little bit further away on our to do on
- 18:18Speaker 2: our road map. But here's the point. What we as
- 18:20Speaker 2: Tangum do. We definitely integrate according to the user's request.
- 18:24Speaker 2: So if the community from you and from the English
- 18:28Speaker 2: speaking community say hey, we need that to me favor,
- 18:32Speaker 2: send an email to support at tangum dot com and
- 18:35Speaker 2: say we need the exerpme tokens and it's.
- 18:38Speaker 1: The one hundred or a thousand or more.
- 18:40Speaker 2: We will do that to get that on.
- 18:42Speaker 1: The we have. We have the XRP army at Bay
- 18:47Speaker 1: right now, so they're probably listening in on this very
- 18:50Speaker 1: topic when we if we drop anything about XRP, it's
- 18:53Speaker 1: usually the XRP army out there. So for you guys
- 18:55Speaker 1: listening in your XRP army tag tantrum over on x
- 18:59Speaker 1: and let them know you just want to be able
- 19:00Speaker 1: to access more of the XRP ecosystem and the Ledger.
- 19:04Speaker 1: So you look at some of the other ones all
- 19:07Speaker 1: right right now, meme coins. Almost every network out there
- 19:10Speaker 1: has their own little ecosystem. Everything from you know, you
- 19:15Speaker 1: look at pumped a fun, you look at what's happening
- 19:16Speaker 1: within the Avalanche ecosystem. You could look on flow Sui.
- 19:21Speaker 1: I mean, everybody has their own little thing, and the
- 19:24Speaker 1: ability to get those meme tokens in on these chains
- 19:27Speaker 1: and into your wallet has been difficult unless you're using
- 19:30Speaker 1: a native wallet to that chain. Any plans for experiencing
- 19:36Speaker 1: or being able to transact more of those kinds of
- 19:38Speaker 1: token transactions within the Tangent wallet avas for example.
- 19:44Speaker 2: Yeah, definitely. I mean, like I said, we're working really
- 19:47Speaker 2: on the user requests. If the people are asking for that,
- 19:51Speaker 2: we are integrating and prioritizing those features very highly. So far,
- 19:57Speaker 2: we have a lot of more things going on, but
- 20:00Speaker 2: unfortunately they're just in the development or also under checking
- 20:04Speaker 2: to make sure that we can do it and that
- 20:06Speaker 2: we can do it cost efficiently, because like I said,
- 20:10Speaker 2: we're integrating the things based on the user feedback and
- 20:12Speaker 2: there is no one in the back and say, hey,
- 20:14Speaker 2: you're going to pay you x amount of dollars that
- 20:16Speaker 2: you can integrate things like that or put that new
- 20:19Speaker 2: feature up so that it needs to make sense for
- 20:22Speaker 2: us and also hit the user.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Sure. Well, okay, well we have the Avalanche teams out there,
- 20:29Speaker 1: So all of you red triangles as you're listening to
- 20:31Speaker 1: this and you want some of those avax ecosystem tokens
- 20:36Speaker 1: out here, this is another spot for us to reach
- 20:38Speaker 1: out to the Tangent team and let them know, let
- 20:40Speaker 1: them know that this is something. Out of all the
- 20:42Speaker 1: user requests that you guys are getting today, what's like
- 20:46Speaker 1: the top user request that everybody's asking for right now?
- 20:51Speaker 2: I think it's Tangent pay.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Oh really, that's going.
- 20:54Speaker 2: To be with the majority of the people ask for, Hey,
- 20:57Speaker 2: I want to use my crypto assets and pay my
- 20:59Speaker 2: grocery is my gas my I don't know anything in
- 21:02Speaker 2: the hardware store with that. And this is something that
- 21:04Speaker 2: we're very proud on. We're really ready to launch that
- 21:08Speaker 2: we have had very suce closes as the event it
- 21:11Speaker 2: is Q one twenty twenty five. I mean, I do
- 21:15Speaker 2: all the translation for the German app version, and I
- 21:18Speaker 2: have oodles and doodles of texts text lines to translate
- 21:22Speaker 2: from English to German for our new Tangent Pay, and
- 21:25Speaker 2: I mean, I know it's coming. I see that, I
- 21:27Speaker 2: see that in the internal chats what we have with
- 21:29Speaker 2: our development team, and we're really thrilled for that. So
- 21:33Speaker 2: everybody who's not aware of what is Tangent pay, Tension
- 21:36Speaker 2: Pay is an option to grab your existing Tangent wallet,
- 21:40Speaker 2: put the new Tangent Pay Visa card with it connected,
- 21:44Speaker 2: and say, if I got to grab my Tensient Visa
- 21:46Speaker 2: pay card and put it to a Visa terminal, then
- 21:49Speaker 2: I can pay my groceries directly with usd T, Bitcoin,
- 21:53Speaker 2: Ethereum cast but whatever you like to. And the good
- 21:56Speaker 2: thing is your Tangent card stays in the hardware wallet
- 21:59Speaker 2: and your Visa pay is just your Visa pay cards.
- 22:01Speaker 2: So it's a new product. What is linked to your
- 22:03Speaker 2: account with your permission, and it's not grabbing without any
- 22:07Speaker 2: access requested or asked for, to your crypto assets. So
- 22:11Speaker 2: it's so visual.
- 22:13Speaker 1: It's work as a it's working as it would be
- 22:15Speaker 1: working as a debit card. Is that the way it
- 22:17Speaker 1: would be in terms of the transaction. Will this would
- 22:20Speaker 1: be available in some of the Western nations.
- 22:23Speaker 2: Yeah, it will definitely be available in the United States,
- 22:26Speaker 2: so we're planning for that. So we definitely have it
- 22:28Speaker 2: planned for a lot of countries right now. And I mean,
- 22:32Speaker 2: the big deal is and the big problem is why
- 22:34Speaker 2: we're working on that for almost five years, that dealing
- 22:38Speaker 2: with feared in crypto is a totally painful situation. I mean,
- 22:41Speaker 2: you know that. And we're very proud because we're the
- 22:44Speaker 2: very first provider who is not grabbing your cryptos converted
- 22:49Speaker 2: by third party into euros or dollars or yen or
- 22:52Speaker 2: whatever and then send it to Visa and they're gonna
- 22:55Speaker 2: pay the groceries for that. No Visa is doing that
- 22:59Speaker 2: directly with the cloud, So the third party, no transaction time,
- 23:04Speaker 2: launch lost, very cheap fees and also quick and very secure,
- 23:08Speaker 2: and we're pretty proud of that. So, yeah, it's interestingly
- 23:11Speaker 2: bright the future.
- 23:12Speaker 1: So the likelihood of this getting launched in early twenty
- 23:15Speaker 1: twenty five, would the US be one of the first
- 23:18Speaker 1: countries to see it.
- 23:21Speaker 2: I'm not sure about that, but we definitely get that
- 23:23Speaker 2: on our to do list that the US is very
- 23:26Speaker 2: highly rated because like with your community, we have the
- 23:29Speaker 2: biggest market most likely right now there because there are
- 23:32Speaker 2: a lot of users, a lot of potential. I mean,
- 23:35Speaker 2: just in comparison to Germany or Europe, in the US
- 23:38Speaker 2: you've got more than forty forty two percent of the
- 23:41Speaker 2: population they're investing in crypto caupus but in stocks, and
- 23:47Speaker 2: in Germany, for example, we're less than fourteen percent. So
- 23:50Speaker 2: I mean you can see the potential in the States
- 23:52Speaker 2: and that's interesting for US.
- 23:54Speaker 1: Yeah, we're they I mean, there's a lot of numbers
- 23:56Speaker 1: flowing around for the United States. Some of the people
- 23:59Speaker 1: now are as to anticipating as many as eighty to
- 24:01Speaker 1: one hundred million people within the United States that are
- 24:04Speaker 1: actually exposed to crypto right now in some way or other.
- 24:08Speaker 1: If you look at Coinbase being the number one app
- 24:11Speaker 1: on the App Store just over the last couple of weeks,
- 24:14Speaker 1: that's a lot of downloads that has to generate a
- 24:16Speaker 1: lot of interest, you know, in these markets, So definitely,
- 24:18Speaker 1: I see that last question is really around Solana and
- 24:22Speaker 1: you and I got a chance to talk about this
- 24:23Speaker 1: in the pre show. We've seen outages that have occurred
- 24:27Speaker 1: on Phantom, I've seen outages that occurred on the Tangent wallet.
- 24:32Speaker 1: Is there anything that you guys are doing to help
- 24:34Speaker 1: maybe buffer those potential outages or issues that the Salona
- 24:39Speaker 1: network is having, especially during these bull run times.
- 24:44Speaker 2: Pill I was really happy that you brought that up,
- 24:46Speaker 2: because honestly, I was not so aware about that issue
- 24:49Speaker 2: because typically we know all Solana was totally blocked by
- 24:52Speaker 2: the mean coins, but your community just experienced a lot
- 24:57Speaker 2: of differences between the Phantom hot wallet, the Attention hotware,
- 25:01Speaker 2: what that swaps and transfers on Phantom just works and
- 25:06Speaker 2: on our Attention want it not? And that really hurts
- 25:08Speaker 2: me a little bit. And it's definitely going to need
- 25:10Speaker 2: to forward that to our team and ask them for
- 25:13Speaker 2: some kind of an explanation for that and about ways
- 25:16Speaker 2: how we can improve that. So for everybody who have
- 25:19Speaker 2: had issues with that, I'm really sorry for that, and
- 25:21Speaker 2: I can promise you I directly get it to the
- 25:24Speaker 2: right people, to their attention and make sure that we
- 25:26Speaker 2: hit the right actions to support the community the very
- 25:28Speaker 2: best way. You don't not have any issues with the
- 25:32Speaker 2: with the network if it's not created by the network.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Yeah sure, yeah, well that is the you know, that
- 25:37Speaker 1: is the thing which is And of course, even with
- 25:40Speaker 1: swee being down for a couple hours over this last
- 25:42Speaker 1: couple of weeks, it's interesting to see some of these
- 25:45Speaker 1: these blockchains that are starting to face that Listen, We're
- 25:48Speaker 1: probably gonna see a lot more of this because there's
- 25:49Speaker 1: a lot more adoption, a lot more use cases starting
- 25:52Speaker 1: to flow into this. The good thing is is this
- 25:54Speaker 1: is an early stage cycle. I'm not only investing, but
- 25:57Speaker 1: how this technology works, We're going to continue to see
- 26:00Speaker 1: a lot more advances, just like we'll will on the
- 26:02Speaker 1: wallets themselves. Last question for you, David, in terms of
- 26:06Speaker 1: kind of future think of what tangum could be in
- 26:10Speaker 1: terms of a wallet device globally, is there any one
- 26:13Speaker 1: particular area outside of pay that you would say, well,
- 26:18Speaker 1: we think this might be a next generation opportunity here,
- 26:22Speaker 1: especially around self custody, because I imagine we're going to
- 26:25Speaker 1: see this phase of self custody adoption be one of
- 26:29Speaker 1: the biggest ever in blockchain. What are your thoughts?
- 26:33Speaker 2: So in generally, I think we created an absolutely mind
- 26:37Speaker 2: blowing product over the last years and we developed that
- 26:40Speaker 2: together with the community to that what it is right now.
- 26:43Speaker 2: So here from the Tension team and really the bottom
- 26:45Speaker 2: of our hearts, we really want to say thank you
- 26:47Speaker 2: to every user who just helped us develop this product
- 26:50Speaker 2: to that point right now. And I can tell you
- 26:53Speaker 2: the biggest focus what we have right now is really
- 26:56Speaker 2: Tangent pay to make it more seamless, because that topic
- 27:01Speaker 2: of swapping your cryptos into fiat is really a big
- 27:04Speaker 2: issue right now. You know a lot of regulations, et cetera.
- 27:07Speaker 2: But after that, directly, we're trying to more simplify the
- 27:12Speaker 2: process we have right now. I showed you the swap option.
- 27:15Speaker 2: The swap ounption is good, but we are working right
- 27:17Speaker 2: now on a one click swap option, not with a
- 27:21Speaker 2: lot of things colled, so you can really do that
- 27:24Speaker 2: with one click and a lot of more things. Really
- 27:26Speaker 2: keep things simple, make it easy, make it more user friendly,
- 27:30Speaker 2: and in that way that no matter if you give
- 27:33Speaker 2: this to your five year old boy or your ninety
- 27:37Speaker 2: five year old granny. They should be capable to access
- 27:41Speaker 2: to access that right away. I'm sorry, I just clicked right.
- 27:46Speaker 2: So this is really one of our biggest focus to
- 27:49Speaker 2: make sure that we keep things simple and make it
- 27:52Speaker 2: user friendly as much as possible.
- 27:54Speaker 1: Hey, David, is there an option for you to preload
- 27:57Speaker 1: a wallet out of the factory for a gift? So
- 28:01Speaker 1: if I want to give someone you know, bitcoin or
- 28:04Speaker 1: you know, any token and it come pre loaded on
- 28:07Speaker 1: a wallet, you know, fifty dollars worth of bitcoin that
- 28:09Speaker 1: comes on a wallet, do you guys do anything like that?
- 28:12Speaker 1: Have you ever thought about that as a as a
- 28:14Speaker 1: solution for gifting?
- 28:16Speaker 2: Yeah? In the past, Yeah, in the past, we really
- 28:18Speaker 2: have had a dot one bitcoin on Tensium cards, but
- 28:22Speaker 2: these were bitcoin only wallets. We haven't done that right
- 28:26Speaker 2: now because of the fluctuation. If you have dot one
- 28:30Speaker 2: zero point zero one bitcoin on it, it could be
- 28:33Speaker 2: today worth nine thousand dollars and tomorrow worth of fifteen
- 28:36Speaker 2: thousand dollars. So from away from the factory to the yes, sure,
- 28:41Speaker 2: but if you if you have something like that, I
- 28:43Speaker 2: can really highly recommend you. I mean, here's a perfect,
- 28:45Speaker 2: perfect thing with the special discount we have right now
- 28:49Speaker 2: with our back Friday sale with a code from Paul.
- 28:53Speaker 2: With the pn I think the PBN code, you get
- 28:56Speaker 2: twenty percent discount for your attention, not only ten percent,
- 29:01Speaker 2: you get twenty percent. So grab a couple of wallets,
- 29:04Speaker 2: pre load them with fifty bucks worth of bitcoin or ethereum,
- 29:07Speaker 2: and give it away to one of your loved ones. So,
- 29:09Speaker 2: I mean, this is the perfect gift or maybe to
- 29:12Speaker 2: one of your child's and maybe in ten or twenty years,
- 29:16Speaker 2: this is the first car or the driver license, or
- 29:19Speaker 2: the first house they're gonna buy.
- 29:21Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 29:22Speaker 2: I mean it's crazy.
- 29:24Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I think the key here is self cussy.
- 29:27Speaker 1: You know, I was trying to get everybody educated on that.
- 29:30Speaker 1: And for those of you, like you just mentioned, make
- 29:32Speaker 1: sure and use our code down below. You'll be able
- 29:34Speaker 1: to get twenty percent off. This is going to go
- 29:35Speaker 1: through Black Friday. I think, what is an end on
- 29:37Speaker 1: December third? I think, so make sure and use that.
- 29:40Speaker 1: Get it out there for a gift over the Sturday season.
- 29:43Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, get it out there for a gift over
- 29:45Speaker 1: the holiday season. We will be giving away two of
- 29:47Speaker 1: the Tangum rings that you guys do not want to
- 29:50Speaker 1: miss so check out. If you have not went over
- 29:54Speaker 1: to the Tangum website by the way, go over there.
- 29:58Speaker 1: You guys can sign up right there. It's very simple,
- 30:01Speaker 1: shows you a little bit more on how to use it.
- 30:03Speaker 1: You can actually go in and order the three cards
- 30:06Speaker 1: that get the ring. Even is the ring available for
- 30:09Speaker 1: shipping right now if I wanted to ship it?
- 30:12Speaker 2: Yeah, the ring is available for shipping right now. And
- 30:14Speaker 2: what is very very important, I would like to show
- 30:16Speaker 2: that very shortly if you okay with that. If you
- 30:19Speaker 2: order a ring and measure your size, make sure that
- 30:22Speaker 2: you really measure that correctly. There are a couple of
- 30:24Speaker 2: options on that you can buy right away on Amazon.
- 30:27Speaker 2: This small ring gage set what gives you a couple
- 30:30Speaker 2: of sizes. If you're going to select the ring where
- 30:33Speaker 2: you want to have it on which finger, make sure
- 30:35Speaker 2: that you put it over your knuckle and also your
- 30:38Speaker 2: finger very good. Select the size. I don't know which one,
- 30:41Speaker 2: it doesn't matter. And if you think this one is
- 30:43Speaker 2: the right size, just grab your gage, measure the US
- 30:46Speaker 2: size and then you see which one you need. So
- 30:48Speaker 2: for example, here we got number ten would be perfect
- 30:51Speaker 2: for me. We got everything available from eight, nine, ten, eleven,
- 30:54Speaker 2: and twelve. These are I think four ring sizes we
- 30:57Speaker 2: got right now, and I can really highly recommend you
- 30:59Speaker 2: just get one of these sets for you. It's I
- 31:01Speaker 2: think it's ten dollars, definitely worth if you want to
- 31:04Speaker 2: invest a higher amount of money in such an expensive
- 31:08Speaker 2: piece of jewelry. So yes, this could be for sure
- 31:11Speaker 2: multiple one hundred thousands of dollars with the right tokens
- 31:14Speaker 2: on it.
- 31:15Speaker 1: Yeah, well, you know it is all right you guys.
- 31:18Speaker 1: Like I said, we're going to be giving away a
- 31:20Speaker 1: couple of these, So if you're not in the diamond circle,
- 31:22Speaker 1: get in right now. This is where we're going to
- 31:23Speaker 1: be selecting the winners from. So just jump over to
- 31:26Speaker 1: our membership page. You can sign up for free right there,

- 31:33Speaker 1: of giveaways happening through the month of December, so definitely
- 31:36Speaker 1: be on the lookout for all that. David, it's always
- 31:38Speaker 1: great having you on the show. Thank you so much
- 31:39Speaker 1: for coming in today. We appreciate it.
- 31:42Speaker 2: Thank you so much for having us, and also have
- 31:44Speaker 2: a very very good rest of the holiday. And thank
- 31:48Speaker 2: you very much.
- 31:49Speaker 1: You bet, thank you. Are you guys tuned in? Make sure,
- 31:52Speaker 1: as I said, get in on the Diamond Circle. The

- 31:58Speaker 1: we only drop out via email that gets delivered out
