Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Coming up on relatables. Another great feeling that's not spoken
- 0:04Speaker 1: about enough right is when you go through like a
- 0:07Speaker 1: nasty breakup and then you've moved on, and then they
- 0:14Speaker 1: fucking try and like call you or something and you
- 0:17Speaker 1: don't answer and also just don't reply and you forgot
- 0:22Speaker 1: that they even had your number, and you block it
- 0:25Speaker 1: because you've grown, you're mature.
- 0:28Speaker 2: You see it and it's normally like no, you actually
- 0:31Speaker 2: wake up to it. It's like a phone call she
- 0:35Speaker 2: wanted to fuck or and then you wake up to
- 0:38Speaker 2: it and you're like, then you just get on with
- 0:41Speaker 2: your day.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Fuck, it feels good.
- 0:43Speaker 2: It's the best feeling in the world.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Walk around and all you can hear is just like
- 0:47Speaker 1: big extra plug playing in.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Your Head's the biggest.
- 1:02Speaker 2: The Relatables podcast is hosted by myself, Adie Clark Akam,
- 1:06Speaker 2: and my partner and cried mister Jake Craig ak.
- 1:10Speaker 1: No, you don't my hair, bro, you don't get to
- 1:14Speaker 1: be as fun by. We'll talk about this later.
- 1:20Speaker 2: I think Lucian is going to turn out to be
- 1:21Speaker 2: a beast.
- 1:22Speaker 1: I think he is.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Why did you bring it up already? I think stay tuned.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Maybe I'm recent.
- 1:30Speaker 1: There's no way. She says that he's like the most
- 1:34Speaker 1: handsome person she's ever.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Seen and the most powerful. That's mummy, motherfucker.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Very excited.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Guys. If you can't tell.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Guy I've had today, I'm yeah, no, I'm in the mood.
- 1:46Speaker 1: I woke up, had two coffees I had, I did
- 1:51Speaker 1: have breakfast, and I went to buy food, didn't eat
- 1:53Speaker 1: it instead of these just two little health powers. And
- 1:55Speaker 1: then had to add a monster. I'm fucking caffeine up.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Bro, that's the weirdest time.
- 2:01Speaker 1: I don't know what kind of came over me. I
- 2:02Speaker 1: got here and I was like, I'm not even hungry.
- 2:04Speaker 1: I was just gonna have one of these. I'm just
- 2:05Speaker 1: gonna as caffeine just smashed the monster.
- 2:08Speaker 2: We should get like some nos, just to like have
- 2:10Speaker 2: before we start. They were like, yeah, through a walk
- 2:13Speaker 2: caffeine is I love caffeine. He's a man's best friend.
- 2:16Speaker 2: I love pre workout. I fucking loved a place in
- 2:19Speaker 2: my heart that I was I was.
- 2:21Speaker 1: At So I was in gunder Guy on the weekend
- 2:24Speaker 1: and there was a there was a request for an
- 2:27Speaker 1: alcohol free beer for all the people.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Don't act like everyone knows we're gunder guys. Gunder Guy
- 2:31Speaker 2: is like, fucking don't even worry about this. Seriously, you
- 2:34Speaker 2: guys don't care. And also I don't Jack drops it
- 2:37Speaker 2: like it's the Gold Coast.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:38Speaker 2: I was in gunder Guy by the week and by
- 2:40Speaker 2: the weekend, by.
- 2:40Speaker 1: The way Australia, yeah, middle of that where so I
- 2:44Speaker 1: was there, but it was something whatever. But there was
- 2:47Speaker 1: a request for alcohol free beer, and I was thinking
- 2:50Speaker 1: to myself, you know how we've said it before, like
- 2:52Speaker 1: what's the point. It was a point of a free
- 2:55Speaker 1: beer when you drink beer for the for the alcohol, right,
- 2:58Speaker 1: Pepsi max is invented fair so, but I was thinking
- 3:02Speaker 1: to myself, maybe I'm slightly I don't know, hypocritical was
- 3:07Speaker 1: a strong word. If like I drink caffeine for the coffee, yeah,
- 3:11Speaker 1: but I've come to very much enjoy the taste. And
- 3:14Speaker 1: if I got told by a doctor, look bro, the
- 3:18Speaker 1: caffeine's fucking you up, you got to chill, I would
- 3:20Speaker 1: drink decaf coffee for the taste. Really yeah, I didn't
- 3:24Speaker 1: enjoy it. It's like it's on my lips.
- 3:28Speaker 2: I feel like coffee is part of frontal lobe development.
- 3:31Speaker 1: No be tricking since I was young. Maybe you've always
- 3:34Speaker 1: been just that front. You know what they say about
- 3:37Speaker 1: people like me, He's got it. If I died right now,
- 3:39Speaker 1: he had an old soul.
- 3:42Speaker 2: Well be could you drink coffee play golf? Why? I
- 3:48Speaker 2: wouldn't use that word to describe it.
- 3:51Speaker 1: But seriously, then you I really wish you had this.
- 3:56Speaker 1: I wish you loved coffee so we could bond over
- 3:58Speaker 1: it further, because we already enough. We don't don't say that,
- 4:04Speaker 1: because if when you when you wake up in the
- 4:07Speaker 1: morning and you're going about your business and you make
- 4:09Speaker 1: your coffee and then you bring it to your lips,
- 4:11Speaker 1: and the smell kids your nose before it even hits
- 4:13Speaker 1: your tongue, and you're just happy.
- 4:14Speaker 2: I've always wanted to see one of those people who
- 4:16Speaker 2: like doesn't have breakfast, has a like double shot coffee,
- 4:21Speaker 2: and like I sit on my deck and like stretch
- 4:23Speaker 2: and get rejuvenated by the sun. But imagine I was
- 4:26Speaker 2: just sitting there, go puff puffing away. So you can
- 4:28Speaker 2: still stretch and get rejuvenated coffee.
- 4:31Speaker 1: I don't see why not.
- 4:32Speaker 2: I also can't get around singing because they taste disgusting
- 4:35Speaker 2: and hurt my throat. I actually I've had one you
- 4:37Speaker 2: because you're a bad influence. Did it in Bali is
- 4:41Speaker 2: the only time I've had a cigarette and they they
- 4:43Speaker 2: taste good?
- 4:44Speaker 1: Like do it? I want to bond. I'm not gonna
- 4:50Speaker 1: lie like I will admit this. This could be an ick.
- 4:53Speaker 1: I'll never do it. I don't think I'll ever do it.
- 4:55Speaker 1: I want you to do it again. What you're about
- 4:56Speaker 1: to say, I desperately I want to be a cigarette smoke.
- 5:03Speaker 2: When we went to Bali for six weeks and Relatable
- 5:06Speaker 2: was on tour Indonesia, Jake for some reason, as soon
- 5:09Speaker 2: as we got their cigarettes are like six dollars.
- 5:11Speaker 1: For a pack. I think it's like three three dollars.
- 5:15Speaker 2: And every morning Jake would walk we were only staying
- 5:17Speaker 2: near one cafe. He'd walk there, come back and then
- 5:20Speaker 2: just like sit in the sun and just sit there
- 5:22Speaker 2: and like.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Be like, I don't even know what you look like.
- 5:25Speaker 2: You look like and you're just having your cigarette and
- 5:27Speaker 2: you were drinking your coffee and you did it every
- 5:28Speaker 2: single morning.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Can I be honest with you about something there on you?
- 5:30Speaker 2: You miss it?
- 5:32Speaker 1: First of all, yes, I don't care about being honest
- 5:34Speaker 1: with that. I'm missing. Second of all, I didn't piss
- 5:37Speaker 1: in the night.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Really, No, it's because we're not stressed. We were on
- 5:41Speaker 2: a holiday, our quartersol levels were low and we were
- 5:44Speaker 2: just living our best life. Or you putting that down
- 5:46Speaker 2: to cigarettes.
- 5:48Speaker 1: I'm dott and Tea's and crossing eyes. Wait, I'm crossing
- 5:51Speaker 1: t's and dot ice.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Yeah. If the shoe fits, almost making it the mate
- 5:57Speaker 2: crossing t's got knives on fucking fits. I tell you
- 6:00Speaker 2: what it is.
- 6:01Speaker 1: I don't know next time when we go to Bali
- 6:02Speaker 1: this year, though, that's going to be with me. And
- 6:04Speaker 1: can you smoke in front of her? I just can't
- 6:06Speaker 1: do it.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Really. But those cigarettes, the ones you were smoking, weren't
- 6:10Speaker 2: like the ones that make your breast think.
- 6:11Speaker 1: No, she's like you with that? Oh fair, because like
- 6:14Speaker 1: if Cassie smoked a cigarette, you wouldn't say like you're
- 6:17Speaker 1: not allowed, but you would probably I dare say speak
- 6:20Speaker 1: for you don't kiss me? Don't Beth?
- 6:22Speaker 2: Won't she?
- 6:24Speaker 1: If I really wanted to smoke, She's not gonna say
- 6:26Speaker 1: you can't smoke?
- 6:27Speaker 2: But is that worth it?
- 6:33Speaker 1: Let me just think about this. If there's two dead villa,
- 6:36Speaker 1: probably let me here we go? Wait, what's it called
- 6:39Speaker 1: give and take push and pull, yeah, or whatever sacrifices.
- 6:45Speaker 1: I don't know. We're there for three weeks. Week one,
- 6:50Speaker 1: I don't smoke, Week two, I smoke. Here three I
- 6:53Speaker 1: don't smoke. I've given you the majority.
- 6:56Speaker 2: On this podcast. We're all about health and well being.
- 6:59Speaker 2: What it would charts health and well being programmers here you.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Know you know well, which you probably don't.
- 7:04Speaker 2: We'll get into Jake's phone updates, getting off our phones healthy, healthy,
- 7:07Speaker 2: and healthy, but we also like to be advocates for fun.
- 7:11Speaker 2: And how about this? Did you think so you like
- 7:14Speaker 2: the look of smoking?
- 7:15Speaker 1: Right? Obviously I like to look I like to feel
- 7:19Speaker 1: like this. I like this.
- 7:20Speaker 2: Obviously we're semi joking, but also we're not. So I'm
- 7:24Speaker 2: thinking before you go to BALI watch Peaky Blinders with Beth. Oh, yeah,
- 7:29Speaker 2: watch mad Men with bad.
- 7:30Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, mad Man doesn't.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Watch any show where they just pull out a thing
- 7:34Speaker 2: and the guy's an absolute boss. I don't think you
- 7:37Speaker 2: can pull it off, but but you might be planning
- 7:39Speaker 2: to see where you might get attracted to them. At
- 7:41Speaker 2: the start, she'd like, Jake, you're disgusting, no kisses for you,
- 7:44Speaker 2: and then at the end you're like Jake, you're doing
- 7:45Speaker 2: something shit.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Okay, No, what's a show? You know what it's? It's
- 7:50Speaker 1: something to do with so picky blind is that they're
- 7:52Speaker 1: well dressed, always wearing a suit. But you're gonna have
- 7:55Speaker 1: a shame as mad men, always wearing a suit. What's
- 7:57Speaker 1: the something I could watch? Animal king Oh yeah, they.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Do do it.
- 8:02Speaker 1: They That's how I would dress. And they're hot.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Yeah, what's his name, Craig? Craig kind of looked like Craig.
- 8:10Speaker 1: If I had long brown hair. Yeah, I'm probably not
- 8:13Speaker 1: as tall. I'll tell you what, though, I dare say
- 8:16Speaker 1: Beth would be very attractive. I reckon, I reckon. So
- 8:22Speaker 1: she she hasn't been listening to the episodes either, so
- 8:24Speaker 1: she if once I say, oh, maybe I got to
- 8:27Speaker 1: tee it up to be like oh, because I don't
- 8:29Speaker 1: think she's watched Animal Kingdom. I doubt it's a great show.
- 8:32Speaker 1: It's one of the best. I didn't finish it either.
- 8:34Speaker 1: I got to the season where spoilers in three to
- 8:37Speaker 1: two one the what's the brother's name? Who's gay? Darren?
- 8:42Speaker 2: Darren?
- 8:42Speaker 1: Yeah, Darren's boyfriend just got caught trying to smuggle cocaine.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Somewhere in a surfboard. Is that where he Stopped's where
- 8:48Speaker 1: I stopped? Can I give another spoiler away? Or you're
- 8:49Speaker 1: gonna watch it?
- 8:51Speaker 3: Well?
- 8:53Speaker 1: I mean I wanted the family kills him? Was Darren's deva?
- 9:01Speaker 1: Yeah's my favorite character.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Darren is my favorite dude.
- 9:04Speaker 1: He is my favorite character. And I like, I don't
- 9:08Speaker 1: like sex scenes heterosexually or I just don't think any
- 9:12Speaker 1: sex scenes in shows because it's no matter what, it's
- 9:13Speaker 1: kind of uncomfortable. Yeah, but I'm not gonna lie like
- 9:18Speaker 1: Darren's sex scenes fucking beautiful. That man is beautiful. He's
- 9:21Speaker 1: a beautiful man. Yeah.
- 9:22Speaker 2: One thing I love to do with sex scene in movies,
- 9:24Speaker 2: like whenever I'm watching something with my girlfriend, but.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Cut your eyes. That's a good. Yeah, this is it
- 9:30Speaker 1: because otherwise.
- 9:30Speaker 2: You like sitting there and you can't and turned on,
- 9:32Speaker 2: You're like, you like, should I be like my girlfriend's.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Then you're like, what am I doing?
- 9:37Speaker 2: I used to do it to my dog too. Cover
- 9:38Speaker 2: your eyes you can't see peace. Oh but man, last
- 9:46Speaker 2: week we both had no phones this weekend for the weekend, Yes,
- 9:51Speaker 2: and you continued that this week.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Did you know, Ah, you didn't try at all I
- 9:57Speaker 1: didn't want to.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Those phones were peace shit. And then your phone also
- 10:01Speaker 2: was pissing me off.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, So his out went again. So I
- 10:07Speaker 1: was we the weekend just gone Australia. It was an
- 10:10Speaker 1: ANZAC Day in Australia on the Friday, and Anzac Day's
- 10:13Speaker 1: a big thing here where it's you pay respects to
- 10:16Speaker 1: the veterans and whatever wars have been going on, it
- 10:19Speaker 1: passed and present. And so what I did this I
- 10:23Speaker 1: was there from Thursday afternoon till Saturday night and in
- 10:28Speaker 1: Gunda Guy, in Gunda Guy, which had it's there's nothing there, right,
- 10:33Speaker 1: So I did Saturday morning until Sunday afternoon, but I
- 10:38Speaker 1: was home Sunday afternoon. But I just my I'm telling
- 10:42Speaker 1: I was at my girlfriend's granddad's eightieth birthday where I know,
- 10:46Speaker 1: I don't know anyone, and Beth was busy catering the
- 10:49Speaker 1: event and I was trying to be strict. So I
- 10:54Speaker 1: had my fucking little purple Nokia Oh to crack. And
- 10:57Speaker 1: I'm not gonna lie like it was hard. This was
- 11:00Speaker 1: the high I left my phone again. I didn't live
- 11:04Speaker 1: it in Sydney, but I left it at our airbnb
- 11:07Speaker 1: and so I just had this fucking thing in my pocket.
- 11:10Speaker 1: And I actually I got a phone call from my
- 11:12Speaker 1: friend Ben Mayor, she was a pilot of my day.
- 11:14Speaker 1: He didn't even mean to call me, he goes, shit,
- 11:16Speaker 1: I was supposed to call Jake Manderbroke, and I was like,
- 11:17Speaker 1: you're on the phone. Mean now, I was like, I'm born.
- 11:23Speaker 1: So I chatted in for a bit and then and
- 11:26Speaker 1: then I you know, blah blah blah. I just honestly,
- 11:28Speaker 1: this was avoiding everyone at this party, and uh for
- 11:30Speaker 1: a good reason. It wasn't being a jerk. And then
- 11:33Speaker 1: I won't go into it, but basically the party was
- 11:36Speaker 1: at a clubhouse of a golf club, and so down
- 11:39Speaker 1: run underneath was like the golf pro shop and then
- 11:42Speaker 1: a little like practice putting green. So I just fucked
- 11:44Speaker 1: off and went down there. I started parton.
- 11:46Speaker 2: Yeah, I just it was fucking Matte. You're a good
- 11:49Speaker 2: man and you didn't crack.
- 11:50Speaker 1: And then that night Beth and I drove home. So
- 11:54Speaker 1: basically when I got home it was pretty chill. But
- 11:56Speaker 1: what was hard about when I got home was was
- 12:00Speaker 1: originally going to miss one of her best friend's birthday parties.
- 12:03Speaker 1: And my sister, who has befriended the friend. It was
- 12:06Speaker 1: going she was looking after Henry, and she then Henry
- 12:09Speaker 1: this night was gonna stay over there fucking reom or whatever.
- 12:12Speaker 1: So we're leaving, and I was like, oh, you'll make
- 12:13Speaker 1: this party if you want me to just drop you
- 12:15Speaker 1: there and then I'll go home and hang out with Henry.
- 12:17Speaker 1: And so we did that. Took Beth to the party,
- 12:20Speaker 1: and she originally she didn't know how she felt. She
- 12:22Speaker 1: knew they were going for dinner and then going out.
- 12:24Speaker 1: She was like, I'll go for dinner. I might not
- 12:26Speaker 1: go out, so just let me know. I come and
- 12:27Speaker 1: get you. But then so I go home. She had phone, Well, yes,
- 12:33Speaker 1: but here's so my phone was waging out something to
- 12:36Speaker 1: do with I message was not that my I message
- 12:39Speaker 1: on other devices was taking text messages basically. And so
- 12:43Speaker 1: I was there at home with Henry and I was
- 12:45Speaker 1: on my own and originally I read a bit and
- 12:48Speaker 1: then I watched some YouTube. I was chilling. Beth ends
- 12:53Speaker 1: up feeling she was like feeling good. So she went out,
- 12:56Speaker 1: like went out out. It's like okay, sweet, And then
- 12:59Speaker 1: I just said, if you're coming home with multiple people,
- 13:02Speaker 1: because she kept saying I'll get an uber. I was like,
- 13:04Speaker 1: if you're with multiple people, I'm fine with your getting
- 13:05Speaker 1: a uber, but if you're coming home alone, call me
- 13:08Speaker 1: because I don't want you to go alone. And so
- 13:11Speaker 1: it's getting late. It's getting late, and it gets like
- 13:13Speaker 1: one am, and I'm just like dozing off.
- 13:16Speaker 2: You haven't fallen asleep yet.
- 13:17Speaker 1: I will excuse what I got stuck reading. I'm telling
- 13:21Speaker 1: you it's insane, okay, But basically leading up until I
- 13:25Speaker 1: start dozing off, I'm trying to text Bet like shitty little.
- 13:28Speaker 1: I think.
- 13:29Speaker 2: I'm like, are you getting my text? Because she's not replying,
- 13:33Speaker 2: and so I'm just kidding.
- 13:34Speaker 1: I'm mad at her for no reason because she's she's replying,
- 13:36Speaker 1: but they're not going through. And so then Joanna can
- 13:38Speaker 1: text me for some reason, and so then she calls
- 13:40Speaker 1: me and I was like, can you where's best? She's
- 13:42Speaker 1: not replying to my messages, and then she texted and
- 13:44Speaker 1: we hung up and she texted me, Oh, she's trying
- 13:47Speaker 1: to but it won't go through. And so I've been
- 13:49Speaker 1: a punished for everyone. Was a punished for you, as
- 13:51Speaker 1: a punished for Joanna, and I was a punish for Beth.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Beth said the only way she could text me was
- 13:54Speaker 1: she had to go physically turn off her I message
- 13:57Speaker 1: and then text me and then go turn it back
- 13:59Speaker 1: on just to text her people if she needed to.
- 14:01Speaker 1: But fuck it just and then that day the Sunday morning, Uh,
- 14:09Speaker 1: like I still I stayed strong. Actually for all of
- 14:11Speaker 1: Saturday Sunday, Beth, Joanna and her friend Case they were
- 14:15Speaker 1: all hungover and so they won't doing anything. I did
- 14:18Speaker 1: a little bit of work and then some cleaning, and
- 14:20Speaker 1: then it got to about four and I was like,
- 14:23Speaker 1: I've turned on my phone. I was like, I need
- 14:26Speaker 1: the reward. Was like, fuck, I need the reward. But
- 14:29Speaker 1: I stayed offered to be fair. So I think I'm
- 14:30Speaker 1: gonna prop to you. I'm going to go I tell
- 14:33Speaker 1: you I wanted Monday. I wanted to do Saturday to
- 14:35Speaker 1: Monday morning. That's what I'll tell you.
- 14:36Speaker 2: What you slash we should maybe do. So this Apple thing,
- 14:42Speaker 2: this Apple conspiracy, they're getting like there's problems there, mate,
- 14:45Speaker 2: I was a recipient of the problem.
- 14:47Speaker 1: It was fucking yeah.
- 14:48Speaker 2: He was trying to I was trying to fucking post
- 14:50Speaker 2: a video and he did reply till like thirty six
- 14:53Speaker 2: hours later, and then I sent him the answer to
- 14:55Speaker 2: his reply, and then he didn't get it and then
- 14:56Speaker 2: messaged me on WhatsApp saying message on my computer after
- 15:00Speaker 2: I already messaged him the answer. I'm like, I'm not
- 15:01Speaker 2: fucking copying and pasting my response and then sending it
- 15:03Speaker 2: to him. So I was just like, fuck it, I'm
- 15:05Speaker 2: not doing anything.
- 15:06Speaker 1: I could tell you you were so fisted as well yourself.
- 15:09Speaker 2: I was just like, fuck it, I'll do with it
- 15:10Speaker 2: on Monday when he gets his phone back, and then
- 15:14Speaker 2: so Apple phones, we can't get away from it.
- 15:18Speaker 1: I'm struggling.
- 15:19Speaker 2: But there is an app called Opal a friend Harry
- 15:22Speaker 2: from Blues and Greens. Is that the step where it
- 15:25Speaker 2: locks all your social media and we lock it from
- 15:29Speaker 2: Friday night to Monday morning? Like or like, is there
- 15:34Speaker 2: a problem going to arise on Instagram? Like we get
- 15:36Speaker 2: canceled and then I'm.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Like we can't go.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Just or is there like a safety thing where.
- 15:40Speaker 1: You're like doing Annaple looks at we're ignoring it.
- 15:43Speaker 2: There's probably a safety where you have to go through
- 15:45Speaker 2: and like put a pass code in or something to
- 15:47Speaker 2: get it back.
- 15:47Speaker 1: It's really annoying. Yeah, people were suggesting this when I
- 15:49Speaker 1: told people about the phone thing. They go, why are
- 15:51Speaker 1: you doing that? Just do this locking app thing? Yeah,
- 15:53Speaker 1: I said, I'm gonna go unlock it.
- 15:55Speaker 2: But I feel like that discipline we talked about which
- 15:58Speaker 2: is really important, like that actual action of going to
- 16:01Speaker 2: unlock it, you'll be like, I feel like a bitch.
- 16:03Speaker 1: I feel like a dog. Through your mindset of thinking I'm
- 16:05Speaker 1: going to go unlock it, and then going to unlock
- 16:08Speaker 1: it makes you you would then, yeah, you would have
- 16:11Speaker 1: like some post nut clarity nearly before you unlock it.
- 16:13Speaker 2: And these phones are good and all, but also that
- 16:16Speaker 2: might be good because the muscle it might get rid
- 16:17Speaker 2: of your muscle memory. Yeah, ship because you go on
- 16:20Speaker 2: like go to go on Instagram and then won't open
- 16:21Speaker 2: You're like, I'm a fucking idiot.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:23Speaker 2: Fair, And then you would just get off your phone. Okay,
- 16:25Speaker 2: maybe that's an option, and then I can text you.
- 16:27Speaker 1: Yeah, because we'll let textings come we'll like text come through.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Because I was thinking I need to get a different
- 16:33Speaker 1: SIM card.
- 16:34Speaker 2: But it's crazy how you putting a phone down affected
- 16:37Speaker 2: so many other people's lives.
- 16:39Speaker 1: I know it put it.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Yeah, it affected other people more than it affected me.
- 16:42Speaker 2: I was I was unbeknownst favorite word. I was plant
- 16:46Speaker 2: ignorance to the situation.
- 16:48Speaker 1: Yeah, I was getting mad at that.
- 16:50Speaker 2: I was getting at you.
- 16:52Speaker 1: You get fuck? Honestly it was I don't I wantn't
- 16:56Speaker 1: trying to think was it worth it? Right now? Is
- 17:01Speaker 1: a great time for a cigarette? What was it worth it?
- 17:05Speaker 1: Probably not? We can try open. You have to pay
- 17:10Speaker 1: for it, I don't know. Probably you probably do.
- 17:13Speaker 2: You have to pay for everything in this world.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Probably do have to pay.
- 17:15Speaker 2: Maybe there's a free we'll put on the business.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Mate, What did you do? Did you do anything exciting
- 17:19Speaker 1: on the weekend? I did nothing? It was great, Alight,
- 17:22Speaker 1: I got what? Okay? If that's the case, if you're
- 17:24Speaker 1: done to say, you're.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Like a girlfriend who like feels obliged to ask. As
- 17:33Speaker 2: soon as the dude says like, yeah, I'm good, he's like,
- 17:35Speaker 2: all right, well I've asked, I can take back over,
- 17:38Speaker 2: then go ahead. I've been practicing, boyfriend judies forever.
- 17:42Speaker 1: A year now. So have you watched all the Hunger Games?
- 17:46Speaker 2: Bro? Yeah, they're good?
- 17:46Speaker 1: Holy funk. I hadn't watched them.
- 17:48Speaker 2: Really. I've seen the first one, the last last one
- 17:51Speaker 2: gets okay, Okay, I've seen the first one. First one's good,
- 17:55Speaker 2: and I had seen about half of the second one. Yeah,
- 17:57Speaker 2: So on Monday night, Beth and I on on Sunday night,
- 18:00Speaker 2: Beth and I. I said to Beth or I haven't watched
- 18:02Speaker 2: all of them, and she said what So I was like, shit, you.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Know how you just get mad excited? You know that
- 18:07Speaker 1: one every year? How you go it's time for the
- 18:09Speaker 1: Lord of the Rings, for the Hobbit. It was like that,
- 18:11Speaker 1: but I hadn't seen it, and so we watched the
- 18:13Speaker 1: first one and then it was about it was like
- 18:15Speaker 1: ten right on Sunday was at ten pm, and Beth's like, oh,
- 18:19Speaker 1: we could watch this, You're like yeah, and so I
- 18:21Speaker 1: just went and put it on before we could even decide.
- 18:23Speaker 1: I watch the second one in the same night banger. Yeah,
- 18:26Speaker 1: second one's good. And then last night we watched the
- 18:28Speaker 1: third one, well it's the part one of the third one,
- 18:30Speaker 1: and then finished it and then on so when I
- 18:33Speaker 1: go home tomorrow night at five, there's four and then
- 18:37Speaker 1: the fifth one is a prequel apparent, and it's about
- 18:39Speaker 1: President Snow and apparently it's good. I don't know if
- 18:42Speaker 1: I've seen that one. Then some team for that because
- 18:44Speaker 1: President snows a fucking dooche.
- 18:46Speaker 2: Catness Everdeen. I'll tell you what. Freira has some reminiscence
- 18:50Speaker 2: of Cateness Everdeen. The first scene where she's in the woods,
- 18:55Speaker 2: I was like, Beth, this is akatyl Akatar. Sorry to
- 18:58Speaker 2: be fair, Hunger Games probably came out before it.
- 19:01Speaker 1: Yeah, No, it probably did. Yeah, the movies came out
- 19:03Speaker 1: before A Quarter Thorns and Roses.
- 19:05Speaker 2: Book a Quarter Thorns and Roses. If it ever does,
- 19:07Speaker 2: casting can has Everdeen. It's a great shout fact.
- 19:11Speaker 1: She knows what she's doing. She's already done. It's giving
- 19:14Speaker 1: like given.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:16Speaker 1: But basically I'm invested in the Hunger Games right now.
- 19:19Speaker 1: It's fucking so good. It is good. It is good.
- 19:22Speaker 2: I've just finished my Star Wars grind Did you finish
- 19:24Speaker 2: it all? I've watched all the Star Wars, all the sequels,
- 19:28Speaker 2: like everything, like and some of them. I watched Bobber Fata,
- 19:32Speaker 2: bobberfet Mandalorim. There's a couple of new ones, like Skeleton
- 19:36Speaker 2: Crew for kids. Couldn't watch that one. That's got I
- 19:38Speaker 2: wanted to ask you which was the cartoon? That's my
- 19:40Speaker 2: next thing, which is the good cut? The Clone Wars
- 19:43Speaker 2: Clone Wars though I think you just have to watch
- 19:45Speaker 2: all of them.
- 19:46Speaker 1: There's so there's Clone Wars and then there's one Card
- 19:49Speaker 1: Bad Batch, which is just like another little off the
- 19:53Speaker 1: easter each show of But apparently Clone Wars a cartoon.
- 19:56Speaker 1: You just learn a bunch about Anakin and Osaka, which
- 20:00Speaker 1: is it plays into the shows that were made, Like,
- 20:02Speaker 1: I don't know how they did it so well.
- 20:04Speaker 2: Talking about movies and TV series, though, we will be
- 20:07Speaker 2: getting to. Last of Us just came out on HBO
- 20:10Speaker 2: and Max. So we've bought it at a log in
- 20:13Speaker 2: business expense the things we do for you guys. That's
- 20:18Speaker 2: cost eight dollars a month, and we're gonna watch the
- 20:21Speaker 2: first season first. We'll give a recap, and then the
- 20:24Speaker 2: new seasons coming out every week so by the time
- 20:25Speaker 2: we're there, Yeah, plus your Hunger Games marathon, you should
- 20:29Speaker 2: be there too.
- 20:30Speaker 1: Mate, well to Hunger Games. I'm done. Well the whole season.
- 20:32Speaker 2: The whole season will be out so we can binge
- 20:33Speaker 2: it and then give our two peace.
- 20:35Speaker 1: I'm so okay. When we watched the first Last of
- 20:40Speaker 1: Us we lived together. Still, we still lived together and
- 20:42Speaker 1: had jobs.
- 20:43Speaker 2: That was the only had jobs.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Not saying I'm just say long ago.
- 20:49Speaker 2: That was one of the only shows where we like
- 20:50Speaker 2: sat down together.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Oh yeah, we watch the whole thing together. I was
- 20:54Speaker 1: devastated when it ended. Yeah yeh.
- 20:55Speaker 2: I mean our other friend he came up and watched
- 20:57Speaker 2: it and he'd played the game and he was like, oh,
- 20:59Speaker 2: this is it we jj.
- 21:00Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, He's like, we played the game and we'll
- 21:02Speaker 1: like shut up. It was so I remember being so
- 21:08Speaker 1: good do you ever? I was talking about this with someone,
- 21:13Speaker 1: But I'm terrible when I start watching something. So if
- 21:17Speaker 1: I let's say, there's a show called The Boys, and
- 21:20Speaker 1: I've never been able to get into that, so I
- 21:22Speaker 1: watched I I like your favorite love that show, and
- 21:26Speaker 1: I remember the first time I watched it, but I
- 21:29Speaker 1: do this like all the time. I was like, oh,
- 21:31Speaker 1: this is the best show I've ever ever created, like
- 21:33Speaker 1: every other show of vanish and I don't care, like
- 21:35Speaker 1: make my personality. And then when I watched Piggy Blind,
- 21:38Speaker 1: the same thing. And then when I started watching mad Men,
- 21:40Speaker 1: same thing, fucking mad Like Madmen's not even like I honestly,
- 21:44Speaker 1: mad Men isn't even as good as those other shows,
- 21:46Speaker 1: but because it's new, I can't. I'm such a like
- 21:50Speaker 1: a Whoford show.
- 21:51Speaker 2: You feel like a kid in the Candy Show. It's
- 21:53Speaker 2: crazy whenever something news that I want to get.
- 21:55Speaker 1: That when Game with when we were deep in Game
- 21:56Speaker 1: of Thrones, I remember thinking, this is the finest piece
- 22:00Speaker 1: of TV ever made that is up there, and then
- 22:02Speaker 1: last of Us as well, Like I actually don't know
- 22:04Speaker 1: which one is the best?
- 22:06Speaker 2: Okay, I reckon best ever?
- 22:08Speaker 1: For me?
- 22:08Speaker 2: Is Mandalorian really bold?
- 22:11Speaker 1: I know? Yeah? Yeah?
- 22:12Speaker 2: And then breaking bad to a close second.
- 22:15Speaker 1: I honestly, god, I you're gonna.
- 22:17Speaker 2: You're gonna Pablo Pascale. No, Pablo Pedro, Pedlo Pedro, Pascal
- 22:21Speaker 2: Pedro Pedro, You're gonna I love him as well.
- 22:25Speaker 1: Okay, you're gonna hate what I'm about to say. But
- 22:31Speaker 1: my top show is a cartoon and it's not ricking
- 22:33Speaker 1: morty Um, what's that? What is it?
- 22:36Speaker 2: It's on Country Role, it's not attack on titaningnci Bro ship.
- 22:41Speaker 1: I'm telling you.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Honestly know what happened to that frontal Lowe and you
- 22:45Speaker 2: please you've gone back to cartoon.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Do me a favor.
- 22:48Speaker 2: I just can't get No, you have to watch it.
- 22:51Speaker 2: What's the actual way to make it sound cool? Anime
- 22:53Speaker 2: that's what it is.
- 22:54Speaker 1: It's this one's not anime. What is anime? Anime is
- 22:57Speaker 1: Japanese cartoons, So this is just the question. Roberts American cartoon.
- 23:01Speaker 1: It's based off a comic book series and it's insane.
- 23:06Speaker 2: So I wish I could love it, but something about
- 23:07Speaker 2: the cartoon makes me not like it.
- 23:10Speaker 1: I'll give it a go.
- 23:10Speaker 2: Why should I start with Clone Wars? If you like
- 23:13Speaker 2: that love style, yeah, okay, start with that, then getting
- 23:15Speaker 2: in the cartoons, and then Invincible.
- 23:17Speaker 1: You don't have to like Rick and Mordy. I actually
- 23:19Speaker 1: can understand some people not like I don't. I don't
- 23:21Speaker 1: like the humor. Yeah, like, if you don't, that's fair.
- 23:23Speaker 1: But Invincible, I'll tell you what.
- 23:25Speaker 2: Rick and Morty is on HBO Max is actually yeah,
- 23:28Speaker 2: up on Netflix's it's all on HBO Max. Shit, HBO
- 23:31Speaker 2: Max is good. Guys, we don't have a brand new
- 23:33Speaker 2: I wish we did.
- 23:34Speaker 1: But up.
- 23:44Speaker 2: Up next, guys is Dilemmas. Earlier in the episode, but Jake,
- 23:47Speaker 2: before we get to I have a juicy one. What
- 23:50Speaker 2: can people do to get some more episode of a relatables?
- 23:54Speaker 1: I hear there's this thing called Patreon.
- 23:56Speaker 2: That we've got how much is it.
- 23:57Speaker 1: It's five dollars a month. How much is that a week?
- 24:00Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure that's about a dollar twenty five a week.
- 24:02Speaker 1: How much is that a day? Seventeen cents a day,
- 24:04Speaker 1: all in aud and.
- 24:05Speaker 2: They get an extra episode every single week.
- 24:07Speaker 1: There's literally a year and a half, I think, all
- 24:10Speaker 1: more shit, there's nearly two years of episodes on there.
- 24:13Speaker 2: And fucking bank up and go yeah fi yeah, So
- 24:16Speaker 2: if you want some more, you're know able to do.
- 24:18Speaker 1: But port the support, the support, the course. Yeah, that's it.
- 24:21Speaker 1: Keep the lights on.
- 24:23Speaker 2: We've got to be able to afford HBO Max.
- 24:25Speaker 1: That's it.
- 24:25Speaker 2: But you guys know what to do by now. Dilemmas
- 24:28Speaker 2: If you want to submit, it's just linked at the
- 24:29Speaker 2: top of this episode or link in bioscoll at the
- 24:32Speaker 2: bottom of a picture of Jake and says dilemmas.
- 24:35Speaker 1: All right, I gotta get in.
- 24:36Speaker 2: I feel like this is one where you can get
- 24:38Speaker 2: like into like what's going on after reading like we're
- 24:40Speaker 2: mentioning Akatar too much.
- 24:42Speaker 1: Right, I think it's becoming up. It's our life. It's
- 24:44Speaker 1: become our life.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Hi, guys, So I've been seeing this boy for about
- 24:47Speaker 2: a month now, He's the first guy I've seen since
- 24:50Speaker 2: my ex where I'm like, damn okay, sir. We see
- 24:53Speaker 2: each other regularly in brackets three times a week and
- 24:56Speaker 2: a few cheeky sleepovers, have great sexual chemistry, great spanter,
- 25:01Speaker 2: and a few deep chats here and there, but all
- 25:03Speaker 2: in all, it's fun, easy, and the first time I'm
- 25:06Speaker 2: not questioning things dot dot dot until it should be until.
- 25:11Speaker 1: So that's that's how Akasar.
- 25:14Speaker 2: We spend the whole day together on Monday, as I've
- 25:17Speaker 2: been busy and hadn't seen him, and then he was
- 25:19Speaker 2: going away the next day, we planned a little day
- 25:21Speaker 2: trip together. He surprised me at my house with coffee,
- 25:24Speaker 2: my favorite breakfast from my favorite cafe, so he's doing
- 25:28Speaker 2: all the things. We slept together and then set out
- 25:31Speaker 2: on our adventure. As we were driving, I made a
- 25:34Speaker 2: joke that he only wants to sleep with me in brackets.
- 25:37Speaker 2: Have never felt this way. We spend time together and
- 25:40Speaker 2: don't even sleep together. He said he wouldn't be in
- 25:42Speaker 2: the car if that's the case, and that I should
- 25:46Speaker 2: know that, and I joked, and he said he wants
- 25:48Speaker 2: more when he gets home, more sex, and she goes,
- 25:52Speaker 2: I know, naughty we laugh because not true but also true. Yeah,
- 25:58Speaker 2: you both want it anyway. I knew he was going away,
- 26:01Speaker 2: so I had a thought, Oh, do I go on
- 26:04Speaker 2: another date? I went on Hinge and went to tease
- 26:08Speaker 2: something up and realized him and I are still matched
- 26:11Speaker 2: and his profile remains the same. After I messaged a
- 26:15Speaker 2: new guy he wanted to take me out. I felt
- 26:17Speaker 2: a little bit weird about it, so I went to bed.
- 26:20Speaker 2: The next morning, I looked to see if the new
- 26:22Speaker 2: guy replied, and I was a bit icky about it
- 26:25Speaker 2: all because I really like the og Man. I went
- 26:28Speaker 2: and checked the og Man's profile on Hinge. The cheeky
- 26:32Speaker 2: bastard updated his photo and prompt He's been messaging me
- 26:37Speaker 2: while he's away, and I've been a bit like, enjoy
- 26:40Speaker 2: your holiday, stop being on your phone, He's replied, joking, jokingly,
- 26:44Speaker 2: saying I'm with my boyfriend and we both know that's
- 26:47Speaker 2: not happening. What the fuck is this man thinking? Why
- 26:52Speaker 2: is he updating his profile when we are so good
- 26:56Speaker 2: and then messaging me all weekend doing nice things right
- 26:59Speaker 2: before it's put me off?
- 27:00Speaker 1: Wait a second, Wait a fucking second, I'm with you here, okay,
- 27:05Speaker 1: but I am with you but did you not go
- 27:08Speaker 1: and match with someone else and go and nearly go
- 27:09Speaker 1: on a day? What? Wait, you're doing the same thing
- 27:13Speaker 1: and he just doesn't know.
- 27:16Speaker 2: When I read this, I was like, these two were
- 27:20Speaker 2: perfect for each other acts. They're the perfect type of
- 27:23Speaker 2: like perfect wholesome relationship but also a little bit of toxic.
- 27:28Speaker 1: Yo, fucking viral? What the fuck is this man doing?
- 27:34Speaker 2: Like, what the fuck are you doing?
- 27:35Speaker 1: So? Yeah, no, I say viral because that's my new thing.
- 27:40Speaker 2: Yeah, what's what's viral? Viral means like it could be
- 27:43Speaker 2: anything that's like brain work, man, Yeah, viral, my things viral.
- 27:47Speaker 1: I'll tell you about it later, Okay, but you'll see
- 27:50Speaker 1: I'm going to use it more. Basically, Look, all I
- 27:54Speaker 1: can think about right now is that the relationship you
- 27:58Speaker 1: guys are going to have is going to be so
- 28:01Speaker 1: so Parts of it are gonna be so good, right,
- 28:05Speaker 1: and then parts of it are going to be so draining,
- 28:08Speaker 1: and you guys are gonna have such big fights, and
- 28:09Speaker 1: then the sex after those big fights are going to
- 28:11Speaker 1: be fucking insanely good. So I don't even know what
- 28:14Speaker 1: to say to you, because I don't want to deprive
- 28:16Speaker 1: you of that pleasure. The toxic part of it bad.
- 28:19Speaker 1: But the sex, you guys, there's something about sex after
- 28:21Speaker 1: a fight is more passionate. Yeah it is. It's like,
- 28:24Speaker 1: why will we fight these apologies? Makeup?
- 28:27Speaker 2: Let me make love out of them, make up sex? Okay?
- 28:29Speaker 2: So is it worth me giving responsible advice?
- 28:34Speaker 1: I think I don't know. Maybe, yeah, I think I
- 28:41Speaker 1: have responsible advice.
- 28:42Speaker 2: But okay, girl who sent the dilemma in pause? Right now,
- 28:47Speaker 2: if you just want to have like sex, really good sex,
- 28:50Speaker 2: and fight and make up for the next six months
- 28:52Speaker 2: and maybe break up at the end or maybe work out,
- 28:54Speaker 2: we don't know. We don't have the answers, but good
- 28:57Speaker 2: learning curve right now. Communication is key. Communication is key.
- 29:02Speaker 2: You both clearly really like each other from his actions
- 29:06Speaker 2: and your thinking process. Why in the world would you
- 29:09Speaker 2: go and ruin that by you going on hinge and
- 29:11Speaker 2: him going on that is because you haven't had this
- 29:12Speaker 2: conversation around your feelings. If before he left and you left,
- 29:16Speaker 2: said let's talk about where we're at so we're both
- 29:18Speaker 2: on the same page, this would have never happened and
- 29:20Speaker 2: you both would have been like, I can't wait to
- 29:22Speaker 2: come back, and then had amazing sex. So clear the
- 29:25Speaker 2: air with this guy. It's really easy because I think
- 29:27Speaker 2: he feels the same way about you.
- 29:29Speaker 1: I think that you should do it in a one
- 29:31Speaker 1: hundred percent honest way as well. I think what you
- 29:33Speaker 1: should say is I gotta come clean. I went on
- 29:38Speaker 1: Hinge and I matched with someone and they asked me
- 29:40Speaker 1: on a day. I didn't feel right about going on it,
- 29:42Speaker 1: and then when I was on there, I saw that
- 29:43Speaker 1: we were still matched, and I saw that you had
- 29:45Speaker 1: changed stuff on your profile. So it kind of made
- 29:47Speaker 1: me feel like shit, but I also did a shitty thing.
- 29:50Speaker 1: But it made me realize that I really fucking like you,
- 29:52Speaker 1: and I don't want to see anyone else. Yeah, you
- 29:54Speaker 1: need to be just be a one hundred percent honest.
- 29:56Speaker 2: It's a really good learning curve too, because when you're
- 29:59Speaker 2: single and maybe in the talking stage with people, it's
- 30:02Speaker 2: very flattering and it really ups your confidence when other
- 30:06Speaker 2: people are coming in and wanting a piece of the action.
- 30:09Speaker 2: But if you can step away from that, what is
- 30:13Speaker 2: really really nice is the connection that you could potentially
- 30:15Speaker 2: build with this man or for anyone this girl. That's
- 30:18Speaker 2: worth so much more than this little bit of the
- 30:20Speaker 2: tension from a Hinge man or anyone on the street.
- 30:22Speaker 2: So put that boundary up and be like, man, I
- 30:24Speaker 2: like you, and he'll reciprocate and you have some good
- 30:27Speaker 2: fucking sex.
- 30:28Speaker 1: My question to the world, right, and I dare say,
- 30:33Speaker 1: I've never been in this situation, but I have known
- 30:40Speaker 1: people to be in a situation, and I think in
- 30:43Speaker 1: the past I would have done this. Now maybe not
- 30:47Speaker 1: so much. My question is is if you let's say
- 30:52Speaker 1: we have a single friend, right, and in two months
- 30:54Speaker 1: they're going on a trip with their boys Europe or
- 30:57Speaker 1: some eurosummer whatever, like they going away for six weeks,
- 31:02Speaker 1: and four weeks prior he meets a girl who he
- 31:07Speaker 1: really fucking likes and she really likes him. But so
- 31:14Speaker 1: it's like there's this thing where they will never let
- 31:18Speaker 1: it go.
- 31:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:21Speaker 1: What I'm trying to say is what's wrong with getting
- 31:22Speaker 1: a girlfriend and then and then going away and just
- 31:26Speaker 1: having fun without having to sleep with everything that breaths
- 31:29Speaker 1: like you know what I mean? Yeah?
- 31:31Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, what comes down to trust of the time
- 31:34Speaker 2: dudes don't even get women. Well, I bet you a
- 31:36Speaker 2: lot of people do do that, but we don't hear
- 31:38Speaker 2: about it because it works out. You don't hear about
- 31:40Speaker 2: the time.
- 31:41Speaker 1: True, we've never that's a good point. Yeah.
- 31:43Speaker 2: We always hear about the time where bloody Timmy's going Yeah, way,
- 31:46Speaker 2: that's a good point. Fell in love and then he's
- 31:47Speaker 2: went off and fucked.
- 31:49Speaker 1: Yeah, no, great point. And one thing I will say
- 31:52Speaker 1: is that it would be I can understand that it
- 31:54Speaker 1: would be probably kind of difficult being the person that
- 31:57Speaker 1: isn't going away. You've just met someone you've been to
- 32:00Speaker 1: for a month, you have every reason to trust them,
- 32:02Speaker 1: but you don't actually know them one hundred percent, and
- 32:04Speaker 1: they're going away for six weeks to Europe or somewhere,
- 32:06Speaker 1: partying whatever, so you would feel to keep about it.
- 32:09Speaker 2: I also think that in that certain scenario, what makes
- 32:13Speaker 2: that relationship feel maybe more intense or intensifies the situation
- 32:17Speaker 2: is that you know you can't be together because he
- 32:19Speaker 2: or she's going away. So you're like, oh, this is
- 32:21Speaker 2: kind of this naughty because like we know it's not
- 32:23Speaker 2: can't work out, but then we want it to work,
- 32:25Speaker 2: but then it's just there's this no man's land.
- 32:27Speaker 1: Wow. A good point. Yeah, that that that month fleeting
- 32:30Speaker 1: up before they leave.
- 32:31Speaker 2: Because you know this can't work, but then why it
- 32:33Speaker 2: is working?
- 32:34Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like, yeah, this can't work, but I yearn.
- 32:36Speaker 2: Yeah for you, Yeah, but I think she knows to
- 32:40Speaker 2: do Yeah, be honest, ye, be honest. Yeah Jesus, Okay,
- 32:47Speaker 2: I'm going to title this one. They haven't remember guys.
- 32:50Speaker 2: If you want to add a dilemma in or he
- 32:52Speaker 2: already told you how to do it just before, but
- 32:54Speaker 2: title them. I kin't want them to be tired. I'll
- 32:55Speaker 2: tell you what all will dilemmas say. Jake said it once.
- 32:58Speaker 2: I reckon it has to be a year ago. He
- 32:59Speaker 2: said he hates or we hate long dilemmas. You can
- 33:02Speaker 2: make him as long as you want.
- 33:03Speaker 1: Now. Oh oh wait, I'm trying to think how many
- 33:08Speaker 1: times did I say that. I think maybe twice, because
- 33:12Speaker 1: ninety percent of them start with sorry, this is long,
- 33:14Speaker 1: and it's.
- 33:15Speaker 2: Not even long. If you can fit it on like
- 33:19Speaker 2: half an a four a four piece of paper that's
- 33:22Speaker 2: like the perfect amount of like.
- 33:24Speaker 1: Size, that's hilarious.
- 33:25Speaker 2: Yeah, they all, they all start with I'm sorry that
- 33:27Speaker 2: it's longry, they're scared, they're scaring you. I'm sorry it's long,
- 33:31Speaker 2: but I need your help, we want to help. Here's
- 33:34Speaker 2: what happens. Half the time I see sorry it's long,
- 33:36Speaker 2: and I don't even click on it. All right, this
- 33:41Speaker 2: is going to be titled Ah man, this Girl's a bitch?
- 33:45Speaker 1: All right? Wait, that's the title. I just made that up.
- 33:48Speaker 1: Fuck it, Hell, it's not that bad. I just had
- 33:51Speaker 1: to say something. Recently, I broke off a friendship with
- 33:53Speaker 1: someone I was roommates with for a year out of
- 33:56Speaker 1: the year and a half, I knew her, we were
- 33:58Speaker 1: really close, but after a while while I started not
- 34:01Speaker 1: to like her that much because I felt she was
- 34:03Speaker 1: a really narcissistic and self righteous person, and I'd often
- 34:07Speaker 1: catch her lying to me. I started to feel like
- 34:10Speaker 1: the relationship wasn't as genuine or authentic as it used
- 34:13Speaker 1: to be. I pulled away from her, and recently we
- 34:15Speaker 1: moved out from the rental and I took more time
- 34:18Speaker 1: to respond to messages, etc. She asked if we were okay,
- 34:22Speaker 1: and I couldn't respond because I didn't know how to
- 34:25Speaker 1: say no and tell her I wasn't interested in being
- 34:27Speaker 1: friends anymore. I finally responded and told her I appreciated
- 34:30Speaker 1: our friendship when we were roommates, but I felt like
- 34:33Speaker 1: we had changed and that I was growing out of
- 34:36Speaker 1: our friendship, so I wanted to step away. She responded
- 34:38Speaker 1: by asking what does she do wrong? And she felt
- 34:41Speaker 1: confused because we were really close. I haven't responded yet
- 34:44Speaker 1: because I feel like it won't be helpful for her
- 34:46Speaker 1: if I tell her that I just don't want to
- 34:48Speaker 1: be friends with her anymore because I don't resonate with
- 34:50Speaker 1: her values and I didn't appreciate her befriending me only
- 34:53Speaker 1: for her benefit. There are things that she has wronged
- 34:57Speaker 1: me for, like leaving garbage and food in the apartment,
- 35:01Speaker 1: which I had to deal with and get rid of,
- 35:03Speaker 1: but that isn't the only reason, and it doesn't seem
- 35:06Speaker 1: like a valid enough reason to end a friendship. I'm
- 35:09Speaker 1: really struggling to figure out what to say because I
- 35:12Speaker 1: feel really horrible for causing so much hurt on her end. LMAO,
- 35:16Speaker 1: sorry it's such a long message. Thank you so much,
- 35:19Speaker 1: Love the pot from Canada.
- 35:20Speaker 2: Wait, what did the friend do?
- 35:21Speaker 1: I said? She just said she didn't actually do anything.
- 35:24Speaker 1: I just made that up. Oh the bitch thing I
- 35:25Speaker 1: made up. But she just is like, doesn't like this
- 35:28Speaker 1: person anymore. She does grown apart.
- 35:30Speaker 2: She doesn't like this person, and she doesn't know how
- 35:32Speaker 2: to say it. Okay okay, and she feels I think
- 35:35Speaker 2: she left.
- 35:37Speaker 1: I think she was scared about making it super long
- 35:38Speaker 1: because she's left out obviously a lot of things this
- 35:40Speaker 1: guy has done to her, and so I think so
- 35:44Speaker 1: it sounds like she's a bit narcissistic. I have a
- 35:47Speaker 1: feeling it sounds to me like the dilemma sender feels
- 35:51Speaker 1: as though the friend used her to as like only
- 35:56Speaker 1: became friends of her to benefit herself with maybe the
- 35:59Speaker 1: apartment or something like. So I dare say there's good
- 36:02Speaker 1: reasons to not want to be friends with her. Even
- 36:03Speaker 1: if you don't have good reasons, you don't have to
- 36:04Speaker 1: be friends of her. Yeah, Like does she owe the
- 36:07Speaker 1: friend any closure? Though? Yeah, I don't know. What do
- 36:09Speaker 1: you reckon in a friendship? Like do they need closure?
- 36:13Speaker 1: I don't know. I think I don't.
- 36:18Speaker 2: We've had a good fucking sentence on the pod where
- 36:20Speaker 2: like closure isn't a necess necessity, it's a.
- 36:24Speaker 1: Yeah, see here's the thing. But what was that that quote?
- 36:27Speaker 1: It was a quote from a therapist. Yeah, that closure
- 36:30Speaker 1: is a luxury.
- 36:31Speaker 2: Yeah, that's it.
- 36:32Speaker 1: Now, see us, us saying that is helping the narcissist. No,
- 36:39Speaker 1: we should be saying it to the narcissist. Yeah, the
- 36:42Speaker 1: dilemma cender, she could hear it too for the like.
- 36:45Speaker 1: To be fair, the narcissist doesn't need closure. It's a luxury.
- 36:48Speaker 1: You don't have to give them the closure if you
- 36:49Speaker 1: don't want to.
- 36:50Speaker 2: But I think the friend wins, like the good friend
- 36:51Speaker 2: who sent this dilemma and wins because she doesn't need
- 36:54Speaker 2: to give this She doesn't have to check closure.
- 36:56Speaker 1: I think it's bad to say to someone like if
- 37:00Speaker 1: someone had the guts to say, oh, are we good?
- 37:02Speaker 2: Like we used to be so close, and you do
- 37:04Speaker 2: you you're not good, right, And the reason you're not
- 37:06Speaker 2: good is because you don't aligned with them anymore?
- 37:08Speaker 1: Do you reckon? It would be crazy to say I'm sorry,
- 37:12Speaker 1: I just don't align or resonate with your beliefs or anything,
- 37:18Speaker 1: and I don't want to be friends with you.
- 37:20Speaker 2: I think that's a great thing to do, but that
- 37:22Speaker 2: confrontation is scary. Yeah, I couldn't do that. I would
- 37:27Speaker 2: just let the friendship dissipate and I'll stop like fucking texting.
- 37:30Speaker 1: That's what she tried. And then there's narciss that's got
- 37:32Speaker 1: the guts to fucking ask just.
- 37:34Speaker 2: Say what Jake just said to say, Hey, a you're
- 37:36Speaker 2: gonna be honest. Just I think we're going in different
- 37:38Speaker 2: directions in life. We don't align with our common values.
- 37:41Speaker 2: And I wish she said that. Yeah, and then the
- 37:43Speaker 2: person said, what did I do wrong? Oh you can
- 37:46Speaker 2: ignore that now, Yeah, she doesn't need more reason. No,
- 37:49Speaker 2: you don't know anything.
- 37:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:51Speaker 2: I think that's like the biggest misconception. And like friendships
- 37:54Speaker 2: and relationships, when you break up, you're always looking for
- 37:55Speaker 2: that one more answer, that one more thing to give
- 37:58Speaker 2: you said closure, and it's always going to be one
- 38:00Speaker 2: more thing, and it's to like one person can't get
- 38:02Speaker 2: over it.
- 38:03Speaker 1: So you don't owe her anything.
- 38:04Speaker 2: If you think you've done your due diligence, yeah, you
- 38:07Speaker 2: don't need to do any more and easier said than done.
- 38:09Speaker 2: But if you just go about your life, it's going
- 38:11Speaker 2: to slowly drift away.
- 38:13Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, it was a bit of a tough one. Yeah,
- 38:16Speaker 1: it actually was. But good luck, good luck all right.
- 38:25Speaker 2: Up next is oh Gee, question of the week, jays Yeah, Budy,
- 38:28Speaker 2: we have been loving this, and this week's is if
- 38:32Speaker 2: you could say one last thing to him, what would
- 38:35Speaker 2: it be? And surprisingly it was about sixty percent toxic,
- 38:41Speaker 2: forty percent wholesome.
- 38:42Speaker 1: I think I got all toxic.
- 38:43Speaker 2: But talking about like closure in that last one, like
- 38:46Speaker 2: a lot of these ones are just like a fucking
- 38:48Speaker 2: little one liner that you want to say but you
- 38:50Speaker 2: can't really say it.
- 38:51Speaker 1: Yeah, and I give you that closure you need.
- 38:54Speaker 2: All right, I'm going to start. If you could say
- 38:57Speaker 2: one last thing to him, what would it be? Forehead
- 39:00Speaker 2: kisses are not platonic facts, fucking oath I do them.
- 39:05Speaker 2: I'm trying to think here, I'll tell you what it is,
- 39:07Speaker 2: erotic from my song platonic and erotic.
- 39:10Speaker 1: There you go. Yeah, forehead kisses are even let me
- 39:15Speaker 1: think about this kisses and't when I gave you ship
- 39:19Speaker 1: the other day about receiving four head kisses, as in like,
- 39:21Speaker 1: do you bend down, Cassie, and I was giving you ship,
- 39:25Speaker 1: I was like, no, you don't know. I was like,
- 39:26Speaker 1: you don't bend down and receive them. I was in
- 39:28Speaker 1: you did it, and.
- 39:29Speaker 2: I feels good, doesn't it.
- 39:34Speaker 1: Oh? Laying in bed the other day and I fucking
- 39:38Speaker 1: I was like, damn, I was like, resting on her boob,
- 39:41Speaker 1: give me a little kiss on the forehead, and I
- 39:42Speaker 1: was like, makes you feel good? Makes Yeah, that's what
- 39:49Speaker 1: I am him.
- 39:50Speaker 3: Yeah, Wow, Yeah, what a day that was.
- 39:54Speaker 2: They're definitely not platonic. If you could say one last
- 39:58Speaker 2: thing to him, what would it be?
- 40:01Speaker 1: I hope she fakes it better than I did.
- 40:04Speaker 2: Oh, so he caught it sort of clocked onto you
- 40:08Speaker 2: were faking, So she was.
- 40:13Speaker 1: I think what she's trying to say here is the
- 40:16Speaker 1: sex was so shit that she fake it. She couldn't
- 40:20Speaker 1: even fake it.
- 40:21Speaker 2: I was thinking this, but it might come across as weird,
- 40:24Speaker 2: don't do it, But I'm still going to say what
- 40:25Speaker 2: I was thinking. Anyway, it'd be really good to the
- 40:28Speaker 2: girls to send in them faking an orgasm on like
- 40:30Speaker 2: a voice message.
- 40:32Speaker 1: How funny? Would that obviously be really weird? That would say, yeah,
- 40:35Speaker 1: it'd be very weird, But like, how good do you
- 40:39Speaker 1: get at it?
- 40:41Speaker 2: You know?
- 40:41Speaker 1: Okay? Actually fuck it? Okay? You know obviously you don't
- 40:45Speaker 1: have to be having sex. I don't want to record
- 40:47Speaker 1: you having sex. And I so Beth has told me
- 40:52Speaker 1: she is great at it, right, And I have a
- 40:56Speaker 1: feeling that I have experienced some good acting from Beth,
- 41:00Speaker 1: because there is I'm telling you right now. I've staid
- 41:02Speaker 1: this once and I'll say it again. I don't have
- 41:04Speaker 1: a ten out of ten. Hre I know that I
- 41:06Speaker 1: don't have a ten out of ten.
- 41:07Speaker 2: I'm just thinking of it from like a male's perspective.
- 41:10Speaker 2: When we orgasm come, it's like the same every time,
- 41:14Speaker 2: and I can't fake that.
- 41:16Speaker 1: I don't know what I do.
- 41:17Speaker 2: I can't like it seems implausible, impossible, like give a go,
- 41:21Speaker 2: give a go, but make a noise.
- 41:24Speaker 1: Yeah, let me you know what anyone YouTube You're welcome. Yeah,
- 41:30Speaker 1: this would be me. I reckon, I reckon.
- 41:39Speaker 2: I don't make a noise ebro and Cassie's told me
- 41:41Speaker 2: if she likes it when I make a noise. But then, like,
- 41:43Speaker 2: I feel like I'm over emphasizing noise.
- 41:45Speaker 1: I have been getting good at getting vocal while doing
- 41:48Speaker 1: no I mean the come, but I refuse to make
- 41:51Speaker 1: a noise while coming.
- 41:52Speaker 2: It feels like I'm being over enthusiastic. Like yeah, maybe
- 41:57Speaker 2: we haven't experienced one. That's good enough, mate.
- 42:00Speaker 1: I've got I've had some good ones. Gun shot. Here's
- 42:06Speaker 1: here's what I do. You reckon, I will gosh, she's
- 42:12Speaker 1: gonna say no what I was gonna say? You reckon?
- 42:16Speaker 1: I could I should record death face.
- 42:17Speaker 2: I think it's too like intimate.
- 42:19Speaker 1: That's why I said, it would be.
- 42:20Speaker 2: Weird for people to send him if you wanted to,
- 42:22Speaker 2: by all means, it's going to be completely anonymous.
- 42:23Speaker 1: I'm not going to say your name. It would be funny,
- 42:25Speaker 1: it would be funny money. I just feel I would
- 42:29Speaker 1: just feel so it wouldn't feel right having some yeah exactly,
- 42:32Speaker 1: someone that listens to the show sending in a face.
- 42:34Speaker 1: But to be honest, also, it would be fucking hilarious.
- 42:37Speaker 1: I need to be maybe a copy us. Yeah, we
- 42:39Speaker 1: need to give this idea to another anonymous No.
- 42:42Speaker 2: I think if like the sender is completely anonymous somehow Okay, no,
- 42:45Speaker 2: they would be I guess. Yeah, it's quite funny. It's
- 42:48Speaker 2: quite funny, is it me? Yeah, this one's intricate. If
- 42:52Speaker 2: you could say one last thing to him, what would
- 42:54Speaker 2: it be? You're like my appendix. I don't know why
- 42:57Speaker 2: I had you, but I'm glad you're gone.
- 43:01Speaker 1: That's kind of that's fucking sick. I I was.
- 43:04Speaker 2: Thinking about it, like, I'm so so so happy, Like
- 43:08Speaker 2: our audience is all female because the i G questions
- 43:12Speaker 2: are so intricate. Yeah, I smart, Yeah, I imagine if
- 43:15Speaker 2: we just had like one hundred percent dudes or just
- 43:16Speaker 2: be like, I just I wish I could suck it. It
- 43:18Speaker 2: would be yeah, yeah.
- 43:20Speaker 1: Yeah, if it was all dudes would be like just
- 43:23Speaker 1: one last time. Question. If we said if the i
- 43:27Speaker 1: G question to the dudes was if you could say
- 43:29Speaker 1: one last thing to her? What would it be, they'd
- 43:31Speaker 1: all say just one last time? And they think it's
- 43:34Speaker 1: the funniest thing ever. Fuck, they'd be thinking, they think
- 43:36Speaker 1: it's so good. Okay, if you could say one last
- 43:40Speaker 1: thing to him, what would it be? I'm happy you
- 43:43Speaker 1: have the family you always dreamed about, But I wish
- 43:46Speaker 1: I was her. Wait, she's gone through it, Oh ship,
- 43:52Speaker 1: she's going through going through it.
- 43:54Speaker 2: Poor girl, I know, poor girl. Yeah, if you could
- 43:58Speaker 2: say one last thing to him, what would it be? Yes,
- 44:01Speaker 2: you are boarding?
- 44:04Speaker 1: See. I resonate with this. Yeah. And I say to
- 44:08Speaker 1: Beth all the time, I talk about how I don't
- 44:11Speaker 1: like my hairdline, how it's receding, And she constantly, constantly,
- 44:14Speaker 1: constantly is a good girlfriend and reassures me that pay
- 44:17Speaker 1: for turkey. She reassures me, and she said, she said,
- 44:21Speaker 1: she said, it's fine, it's not really you look fine.
- 44:24Speaker 1: You honestly, no one would even think about it, right,
- 44:28Speaker 1: And I think that has confirmed she's lying. Yeah, I
- 44:36Speaker 1: think that's confirmed that she's lying. Yes, you so. Yeah.
- 44:41Speaker 1: So if we break up and I was yeah, I
- 44:44Speaker 1: think she hit me pretty hard, you'll be.
- 44:46Speaker 2: Like, I still love you. I know you'll be like
- 44:49Speaker 2: one more time.
- 44:50Speaker 1: She's like, no, you're boording. Okay, if you could say
- 44:57Speaker 1: one last thing to him, what would it be? You
- 45:02Speaker 1: have a really abnormal amount of foreskin and it looks
- 45:05Speaker 1: like elephant's skin. That's just me.
- 45:15Speaker 2: I told you. Remember how we never found out. I
- 45:18Speaker 2: swear doctors are meant to clean it up. Remember how
- 45:20Speaker 2: you disagreed with that. We had the maybe it was
- 45:22Speaker 2: on page What are you talking about? No, they do.
- 45:25Speaker 2: Doctors are meant to like ape before skin.
- 45:26Speaker 1: The only time a doctor should be touching a foreskin
- 45:29Speaker 1: is to get rid of the whole fucking thing.
- 45:31Speaker 2: No, I think they're meant to clip it and tidy
- 45:32Speaker 2: it up if they still want it, like a haircut.
- 45:34Speaker 1: Yeah, they were insane.
- 45:36Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like an embilical cord. How they cut that
- 45:39Speaker 2: and like some do a really good job, or where
- 45:41Speaker 2: some still have that little bit sticking out. It's like
- 45:43Speaker 2: a foreskin. I swear the doctors are meant to clean
- 45:45Speaker 2: that shit up. And if you get a bad one,
- 45:47Speaker 2: this guy got unlost.
- 45:48Speaker 1: So do you reckon? Doctors are just out of here
- 45:49Speaker 1: burthing little boys, going this one's a funny looking but
- 45:52Speaker 1: I'm gonna let him have it. Wait, there's no way, no, no, no, no.
- 45:55Speaker 2: Maybe or some doctors don't clip it. Even that's bad genetics.
- 45:59Speaker 2: But if you'd so, I hope it's the doctor not
- 46:00Speaker 2: badgine that.
- 46:01Speaker 1: Can you still get babies circumcised? Yeah, that's what they do,
- 46:05Speaker 1: isn't it. Al Wait, is it now a thing that
- 46:07Speaker 1: all babies need to be circumcised? No?
- 46:09Speaker 2: I think it's the parent's choice, still the same as
- 46:12Speaker 2: it always been.
- 46:13Speaker 1: Why it circuscans should be kind of a thing, I
- 46:15Speaker 1: don't know.
- 46:15Speaker 2: Because it's cleaner, it's more better for like cleanliness.
- 46:18Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you don't have to like clean it and
- 46:19Speaker 1: pull it back. No.
- 46:20Speaker 2: Yeah, so it's better for cleanliness to be chopped. But
- 46:22Speaker 2: it's better to protect from STDs to have a foreskin.
- 46:25Speaker 2: Oh really, I'm pretty sure. Well not really, because now
- 46:28Speaker 2: there's a reason behind that. Mean no, I think there
- 46:30Speaker 2: is a reason behind.
- 46:30Speaker 1: It, a fucking reason that the foreskin's there. I do
- 46:33Speaker 1: when you get a boner, it pulls. I don't have
- 46:35Speaker 1: a foreskins, I have no experience, but forrskin doesn't stay.
- 46:38Speaker 2: I feel like there's a purpose because it's honest, like
- 46:41Speaker 2: there's a reason behind it.
- 46:42Speaker 1: Yeah, but we don't we have for reason. We don't
- 46:45Speaker 1: need our appendexic.
- 46:45Speaker 2: I swear we learn in sex, so that like foreskins
- 46:48Speaker 2: like something I could be completely wrong, And.
- 46:50Speaker 1: We also don't need our fucking wisdom teeth. Yeah, but
- 46:53Speaker 1: they do do something on right now, twenty five good
- 46:55Speaker 1: years without a foreskin. Mate, you don't need a four skin.
- 46:58Speaker 2: Yeah, I know you don't need one. If you could
- 47:01Speaker 2: wank with a foreskin, your life would be changed.
- 47:04Speaker 1: That's why we have a fore. They knew we'd be
- 47:06Speaker 1: doing that crazy shit to ourselves. Disgusting.
- 47:12Speaker 2: You don't it disgusting? If you could say one last
- 47:18Speaker 2: thing to him, what would it be relatable? I missed
- 47:20Speaker 2: the dog.
- 47:22Speaker 1: Fox broa genuinely. If for some random reason I started
- 47:29Speaker 1: to despise Beth, Henry would keep me there for a
- 47:32Speaker 1: long time before I break up with it. Yeah, for
- 47:35Speaker 1: a long time. And also now I could never bring
- 47:39Speaker 1: myself to do it. The joint custody of a dog thing.
- 47:41Speaker 1: I could never ever bring myself to do it right
- 47:44Speaker 1: because also he actually is one hundreds but all together
- 47:47Speaker 1: i'm his dad, while yeah, I mean for.
- 47:50Speaker 2: The rest of it to be stepdaddy.
- 47:52Speaker 1: Yes, basically I would miss that motherfucking dog so much,
- 47:59Speaker 1: especially because you live with him. It would be because
- 48:02Speaker 1: also just like when he chooses, no one talks about
- 48:06Speaker 1: this all right, I don't think this has talked about enough.
- 48:10Speaker 1: When your dog chooses you over your partner to lay
- 48:13Speaker 1: with the feeling of feeling full and happy is unattainable
- 48:22Speaker 1: in any other way. And then when they choose your
- 48:26Speaker 1: partner over you, you just think you little fucking.
- 48:29Speaker 2: Whore your partner or your dog the dog.
- 48:38Speaker 1: But no one, you don't talk about it enough, you know,
- 48:40Speaker 1: because like when you're growing up and you have a dog,
- 48:42Speaker 1: the dog always you love your mum the most. So
- 48:45Speaker 1: when you and Cassie move out and you end up
- 48:47Speaker 1: getting a dog.
- 48:47Speaker 2: We've said that. So we're going to get two dogs
- 48:50Speaker 2: straight away? Yeah, I think so, because we only have
- 48:52Speaker 2: to go through that one puppy stage and is going
- 48:54Speaker 2: to be double the amount of ship and then they
- 48:56Speaker 2: used to each other. But I'm going to take one.
- 48:58Speaker 2: He's obviously going to love me more because we want
- 49:00Speaker 2: completely different things.
- 49:01Speaker 1: Yeah, she was active. If you want a little dash out,
- 49:05Speaker 1: I'm still don't get the same man. You gotta spread
- 49:07Speaker 1: your surrounding common home with a fucking shits cross. But
- 49:12Speaker 1: the only thing I think, because they're going to be
- 49:15Speaker 1: different breeds from different litters, it won't matter. But there's
- 49:19Speaker 1: a really common thing when you get let's if you
- 49:21Speaker 1: get two puppies and you raise them from young, those
- 49:24Speaker 1: two puppies like they're bonded, bonded, and so if you're out,
- 49:29Speaker 1: they will gang up on other dogs. It's like super
- 49:32Speaker 1: common for them, just like fuck other dogs up.
- 49:34Speaker 2: Because that sounds like a wind to me. Rue, my
- 49:39Speaker 2: dogs are going to own the street.
- 49:41Speaker 1: No fair, fair. If you could say one last thing
- 49:44Speaker 1: to him, what would it be? I'm glad we broke up.
- 49:47Speaker 1: I learned that Dick's aren't actually supposed to taste like that.
- 49:50Speaker 2: Ah discussed I had one like that, disgust Mine was worse.
- 49:57Speaker 1: Where was it?
- 49:57Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 49:58Speaker 1: Or here it is?
- 49:58Speaker 2: If you could say one last to him, what would
- 50:00Speaker 2: it be?
- 50:01Speaker 1: You'll come with stinky you?
- 50:03Speaker 2: Oh my god, I never thought of that.
- 50:05Speaker 1: A I didn't even know what how to smell? Even
- 50:08Speaker 1: did I? Oh, okay, moving on, that is disgusting. If
- 50:17Speaker 1: you could say one last thing to him, what would
- 50:18Speaker 1: it be. If there was an unfucked button, I'd throat
- 50:22Speaker 1: punch it, throat it.
- 50:25Speaker 2: That's intense, that's funny. The regret is will. If you
- 50:31Speaker 2: could say one last thing to him, what would it be. No,
- 50:34Speaker 2: it's not the biggest I've ever seen.
- 50:36Speaker 1: No, stop, fuck off, stop it. Our whole world's alive.
- 50:40Speaker 1: Literally stop because I knew the whole time it wasn't
- 50:45Speaker 1: the biggest you've ever seen, but I started to believe it. God,
- 50:52Speaker 1: If you could say one last thing to him, what
- 50:54Speaker 1: would it be? Take me back? Please? It says, lmao,
- 50:59Speaker 1: I've got one.
- 50:59Speaker 2: I'm gonna marry you.
- 51:00Speaker 1: Still I wasn't lying when I said married. Yea. Whether
- 51:04Speaker 1: you like it or not, this.
- 51:07Speaker 2: One is my favorite. If you could say one last
- 51:09Speaker 2: thing to him, what would it be. If you can't
- 51:11Speaker 2: grow emotionally, I hope you can grow physically.
- 51:15Speaker 1: Oh my god, holy fuck. Yeah yeah, that's I would
- 51:21Speaker 1: pay money to see his reaction.
- 51:23Speaker 2: That's like a gunshot that it swords at.
- 51:24Speaker 1: Him, and for some reason the sword got there first, like, why, Wow,
- 51:32Speaker 1: if you could say one last thing to him, what
- 51:33Speaker 1: would it be? Eat my left flat? What is it
- 51:39Speaker 1: worse than your right? Is it saggy? Or something like?
- 51:42Speaker 2: What if you could say one last thing to him,
- 51:47Speaker 2: what would it be? The sex wasn't even worth throwing
- 51:49Speaker 2: my pH balance off?
- 51:51Speaker 1: What's with this pH balance thing? Yeah, bro, I had
- 51:57Speaker 1: there was a moment where I thought, I like, I
- 52:00Speaker 1: was like, I didn't even know. I was. I know nothing.
- 52:03Speaker 2: We knew nothing before starting the pod.
- 52:05Speaker 1: We I have a relatively better idea now, but I didn't.
- 52:10Speaker 1: I had no idea. Beth one time she you can
- 52:13Speaker 1: get pH balance soap to clean yourself, and she used
- 52:19Speaker 1: it too much. You can be too clean, you can't.
- 52:23Speaker 1: You need germs. Yeah that makes sense. Yeah, Like she
- 52:27Speaker 1: started like getting all like fucked up, you need germs.
- 52:29Speaker 2: I was like, well, imagine walking away from a session,
- 52:31Speaker 2: You're like, oh fuck, the balance is gone. That was
- 52:35Speaker 2: not worth it.
- 52:36Speaker 1: It's a good way. I think one of the girls
- 52:39Speaker 1: have a really good intuition for when their boyfriend's cheating.
- 52:41Speaker 1: Oh yeah, new germs. You can feel the pH balances.
- 52:45Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah. I remember the first time I ever
- 52:48Speaker 2: had sex with my girlfriend. She said something because of
- 52:50Speaker 2: new Willie.
- 52:51Speaker 1: Yeah no same so to Bath yeah yeah, and I
- 52:53Speaker 1: was like dirty, like I don't.
- 53:00Speaker 2: Have a foreskind.
- 53:02Speaker 1: Made it. I think it's my last one. I got
- 53:09Speaker 1: one more two? Okay, this is a what's it called
- 53:16Speaker 1: stab at? A twist?
- 53:17Speaker 2: Wherever you say?
- 53:19Speaker 1: If you if you could say one last thing to him,
- 53:23Speaker 1: what would it be? Fuck you and your skinny cock?
- 53:32Speaker 1: Long and skinny for the wind you reckon. I actually
- 53:36Speaker 1: know for a fact that short and chubby is better.
- 53:43Speaker 1: How do you know that?
- 53:43Speaker 2: Because girls feel pleasure on the radius long and skinny
- 53:50Speaker 2: it doesn't feel as good as short and fat. Alright, experts.
- 53:54Speaker 1: Everyone's like, you know, everyone's like you got a Chod's
- 53:57Speaker 1: like an insult. He chowed boy whatever that when we
- 54:00Speaker 1: were kids. Yeah, people with Chad's blessed.
- 54:03Speaker 2: But also like how sure are we talking? There's still
- 54:06Speaker 2: got to be a bit of length.
- 54:08Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 54:13Speaker 2: My last one. If you could say one last thing
- 54:16Speaker 2: to him, what would it be? Enjoy watching my ig
- 54:18Speaker 2: story by facts? There's that many dudes in facts. The
- 54:23Speaker 2: girls they're just broken up.
- 54:25Speaker 1: Imagine all the new dudes.
- 54:26Speaker 2: But and then you just see the old body, like,
- 54:31Speaker 2: you know what.
- 54:31Speaker 1: Would be I kind of live for petty things. Is
- 54:36Speaker 1: it petty to kind of get like some sort of
- 54:40Speaker 1: giddiness when you I told that the person you were
- 54:45Speaker 1: with moved on but downgraded. Oh where did I say
- 54:49Speaker 1: something about this? That's the fel That's another thing that's
- 54:51Speaker 1: not spoken about it. That's the best feeling in the world. Yeah,
- 54:53Speaker 1: that's nowhere that is not spoken about anywhere near enough. Yeah. Yeah.
- 54:57Speaker 1: Another great feeling that's not spoken about enough, right is
- 55:01Speaker 1: when you go through like a nasty breakup and then
- 55:06Speaker 1: you've moved on, and then they fucking try and like
- 55:11Speaker 1: call you or something, and you don't answer and also
- 55:15Speaker 1: just don't reply and you forgot that they even had
- 55:19Speaker 1: your number, and you block it. Because you've grown, you're mature.
- 55:24Speaker 2: You see it and it's normally like no, you actually
- 55:27Speaker 2: wake up to it. It's like a phone call she
- 55:31Speaker 2: wanted to fuck or and then you wake up to
- 55:34Speaker 2: it and you're like, then you just get on with
- 55:37Speaker 2: your day.
- 55:38Speaker 1: Fuck, it feels good.
- 55:39Speaker 2: It's the best feeling in the world.
- 55:40Speaker 1: Walk around and all you can hear is just like
- 55:42Speaker 1: big extra plug playing in your Head's the biggest man
- 55:58Speaker 1: welcome to Relatables Baddi's Book Club, where we will embark
- 56:02Speaker 1: on a journey reading some of the finest pieces of
- 56:04Speaker 1: literature you have ever laid eyes or is if that's
- 56:07Speaker 1: your preferred way to consume a book on a court
- 56:13Speaker 1: of thorns and roses, everybody, Welcome back to the Relatables
- 56:17Speaker 1: Baddies book Club.
- 56:20Speaker 2: Jake, we are up to chapter thirty. Yes, we've been reading,
- 56:24Speaker 2: haven't we. Bro We have been reading, and I don't
- 56:26Speaker 2: know where to start. I think the first thing to
- 56:31Speaker 2: say is, this book has turned up.
- 56:35Speaker 1: This book has he I didn't even know My life
- 56:44Speaker 1: has one eighty flipped and I'm a fantasy guy. I
- 56:47Speaker 1: wrote juicy. That's it. That's all. Explains it so well. Juice.
- 56:50Speaker 1: It's like orange juice.
- 56:51Speaker 2: I'm just going back for more, more, more shit.
- 56:53Speaker 1: It's so freshly squeezed, full of pulp. Yeah, that's what
- 56:56Speaker 1: it is. So much.
- 56:58Speaker 2: Where do you want to start?
- 57:00Speaker 1: I think we just start from where we left off.
- 57:01Speaker 1: So we left off where we were from chapter three
- 57:04Speaker 1: to thirteen, and then we've gone from thirteen to thirty.
- 57:07Speaker 1: Fuck we there's so much information. Bro Okay, okay, it's
- 57:13Speaker 1: a lot to get through. The first of all, I'm obsessed.
- 57:17Speaker 2: Yeah, you've always been a sair and you and now
- 57:19Speaker 2: I'm obsessed. Yes. Chapter twenty seven to thirty is like, okay,
- 57:24Speaker 2: this is gonna.
- 57:24Speaker 1: Change my life. He fuck bro, Okay we left off
- 57:29Speaker 1: where Favra she catches the surreal. Yeah, I think the
- 57:34Speaker 1: cereal is he pronounce it basically, So she goes out.
- 57:37Speaker 1: Lucian fucking tells her how it.
- 57:39Speaker 2: Sounds like so long ago.
- 57:40Speaker 1: Now it sounds like a year ago, bro, because of
- 57:44Speaker 1: the development. Okay, she goes she catches the cereal and
- 57:48Speaker 1: he's kind of like this ugly fucking thing catches him
- 57:52Speaker 1: in a snare, right, and so she's all shit in
- 57:56Speaker 1: her pants and that this thin could kill her, and
- 57:57Speaker 1: for some reason it's just being nice. She starts asking questions, what.
- 58:01Speaker 2: Don't have to catch you with like a chicken and
- 58:02Speaker 2: ship Yeah she.
- 58:04Speaker 1: Put like a dead chicken out and then yeah, yeah,
- 58:08Speaker 1: so she needed a creek nearby so if he somehow
- 58:11Speaker 1: got loose, she could run to the creek and he
- 58:12Speaker 1: can't get her. And I reckon that was a lie,
- 58:14Speaker 1: by the way. But so she starts asking all these
- 58:17Speaker 1: questions about the blight. So you're up to date with
- 58:20Speaker 1: the Blight now right, it's just fucking ship up in there.
- 58:23Speaker 1: So she's asking questions because she actually really wants to
- 58:27Speaker 1: know just to keep them Mortal lands safe, and so
- 58:32Speaker 1: she's out there asking questions and then he's not really
- 58:35Speaker 1: giving like definite answers. All he's saying is and that
- 58:39Speaker 1: goes crazy here because at this point she's like, I'm
- 58:41Speaker 1: with Tamlin the High Fairy, blah blah blah. He goes
- 58:46Speaker 1: He's like, I sent you.
- 58:46Speaker 2: I don't know he knew she was there, and he's
- 58:48Speaker 2: just like, all you need to know is you just
- 58:50Speaker 2: need to stay with the high.
- 58:51Speaker 1: Lord, and she goes, hi Lord, Yeah yeah, she goes
- 58:55Speaker 1: Town's a fucking high law. She starts creamy. I was like,
- 58:58Speaker 1: I was like, what same give a couple of times
- 59:01Speaker 1: sitting up and I'm like, it's like I'm watching a
- 59:03Speaker 1: show that it's getting intense and I'm sitting up and
- 59:05Speaker 1: I start reading like that, like did I read that right? Yeah?
- 59:07Speaker 1: I normally read wrong. So Tamlin is one of the
- 59:09Speaker 1: seven high Lords of Prithian. Yeah, yeah, this motherfucker keeps
- 59:14Speaker 1: coming out with surprises. So from there, these shit starts happening.
- 59:21Speaker 1: From there where she can hear something. She can hear
- 59:24Speaker 1: like stuff in the forest and a big roar, and
- 59:28Speaker 1: the surial knows what's coming, and he's saying, you've got
- 59:31Speaker 1: to let me go. And I don't remember what they
- 59:33Speaker 1: were called, these these beasts that they start of a.
- 59:38Speaker 2: I know, yeah, everyone knows.
- 59:39Speaker 1: There was like three or four of them. Yeah, there
- 59:41Speaker 1: was like three or four of these things that she
- 59:43Speaker 1: said were serpent like. But it's gonna be fuck. I can't.
- 59:46Speaker 1: I'm not going to go look in the book and
- 59:47Speaker 1: find them. But I'm sorry.
- 59:48Speaker 2: They're in the woods. Yeah, and they started chasing it.
- 59:50Speaker 1: Basically they are from a different realm, yeah, yeah, and
- 59:54Speaker 1: they could tell that the Surial was there and they
- 59:57Speaker 1: could also probably spell her. And so they get there
- 59:59Speaker 1: and they like hissing and being like blah blah blah.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: She's ship in her pants. She gets between, she gets
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: she stands behind the cereal and they start coming. And
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: then the serial's begging, begging, begging. He's like, stay with
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: the high wood. You've got to let me go, Let
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: me go, let me go. She shoots the snare and
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: apparently he just vanishes into dust, and now she's just
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: alone with these fucking things and just ship breaks hell
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: breaks loose.
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: Yeah, she start running, She does running, and she does running.
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: She first of all kills one beast by the way,
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: is an animal, kills one like they're like grabbing her,
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: and she's still run, still running, falling over it.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: She kills one. Runs, they start going, they start laughing.
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: I don't even Lucian was meant to be doing his rounds.
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: And she's like, where is this man?
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: That is why she left. Lucian did say he did.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: He mentioned if she screams or something that he'll be there,
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: and so in her head she's going, oh, so she
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: does if I keep running, If I keep running, she
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: screat Lucian doesn't come getting flanked. Getting flanked, someone grabs her,
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: turns around, she has a knife. She kills another one,
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: and then she'd breaking loose. Though they've got her, they're
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: about to kill her. And then she hears a fucking
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: terrifying raw and you'll never guess who it is. Who
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: is it, Tamla? She goes, I saw those golden locks.
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: He's everywhere.
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: He tears them to shreds, bro shreds. And then basically
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: she's just all fucked like they actually kind of sucked
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: her up a bit. Yeah, yeah, and yeah, Temlin tamlinn
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: Chairsman just reads and then they go back and I
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: kind of like forget so timeline wise, right, it went
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: a little bit slower.
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: From then on, it got slow, went really slow.
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: He saves her life.
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: They start really bonding from after this.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: After that, they started really bond.
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: Yeah, they start going out on like penso.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: Yes, because he says, what were you doing out here?
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: And then she said, I think she admits to going
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: to catch a cereal and he says, what did he
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: tell you? And she said nothing, I never got that far.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: And then they're at dinner and just came out. And
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: then at dinner he says something. She goes, okay, high lord.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: He he doesn't think that she knows yet that he's
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: a high lord, and he goes on, didn't get anything
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: from a cereal?
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: Huh?
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: And she's like, fuck it.
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: Close to you, I love like the band most flirtatious.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: So okay, basically if Fara nearly dies and then okay,
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: they're a bit more friends. Now. She's in bed one
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: night and she hears a screaming from outside coming in
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: and Tamlin carries in a fairy from a different realm,
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: and it's full, just losing the blood blood, and it
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: keeps them saying, she took my wings. We hear this
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: she again. There's a she in the those other chapters
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: we've read, and there's a she. She took my wings.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: She's all he's saying is she took my wings. She
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: took my wings and gets put on the table. Lucian
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: comes over, he vomits because he's a pussy, and then
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: is there holding this fairy's hand. Tamlin's doing his best,
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: but his magic can't heal him because of the bly.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: He used to be able to do it with these,
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: but now he can't heal these type of things. And
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: it dies, yeah, unfortunately. So from there that was there
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: was another major bonding moment between Tamlin and Farah. And
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: while the fairyes dying, they still think she hates fairies
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: and she's holding its hand up until it dies, and
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: Tamlin she he walks her back up to her room
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: and she says like he says, he's like, well upset,
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: and he just goes like, Farah, I just gonna ask
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: you one thing, why did you you hate fairies? Why
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: did you do that? And she just is like, oh,
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: I would if I was dying, I'd want someone to
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: hold my hand. And so he's just like, all these
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: things are happening that's making him just like love favr. Yeah,
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: just fit obsessed with her, right, and he starts to
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: like see himself in her the way that she had
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: to do all this stuff growing up. Right. And then
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: from there, I'm pretty sure she's finally coming to terms
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: with the fact she's never leaving.
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: Yeah, So she starts painting, and she's she starts to
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: come out of her skin, which Tamlin sees and starts
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: to appreciate. Yes, she starts painting. Tamlin shows her like
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: all that cool little like walkway of all the different
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: type of fairy art and stuff, and then she's just
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: doing her thing, panning all the fucking sex scenes she's
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: going to have with Tamlin in the future, right.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: And then so they there comes a point where they're
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: out in the garden and Tamlin he's got all these
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: crazy sixth senses, right, and he like growls and he says, hide,
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: don't come out. She's in a bush and Lucien and
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: Tamlin are standing there and just some figure appears and
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: starts talking to them, and it's again talking about she
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: like she won't like this, she won't like that. She's
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: blah blah blah, and Tamlin's like, leave us a fuck alone.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: And it was called the Atour, the att Ator or
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: something like that, and he is or they are from
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: the night Realm and so basically after that they didn't
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: know like that thing didn't see fair oh the human
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: And then from that, where when does he release the
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: glamour that was over her eyes? And now she's probably
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: she sees Prithian for what it is because she actually
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: was just seeing she thought that.
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: They went to have a picnic and then they're talking
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: about the night sky or he can make he can
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: make the water look like the night sky or something
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: something like that.
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: So yeah, he is starting to trust her more. And
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: they're at this picnic because they're all becoming really good
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: friends and she's just like falling in love and he's
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: falling in love, and Lucian's just there just like kind
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: of laughing at them, like you guys just need to
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: fuck already. And then they're over at this pond having
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: a picnic and Lucian leaves and Tamlin goes, oh, the
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: willows are singing, and she goes, you're off your head?
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: Are you hallucinating? And he's like no, seriously, like you
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: don't understand. I've been hiding this from you just so
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: your mortal mind could understand, Like wouldn't just explode. And
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: he goes and she goes, show me. He's like, us, fairies,
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: we don't give stuff out for free. She little kiss something.
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: He said something like, I gotta get something back.
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: Yea, yeah, I gotta get something. Do you want kiss? Yeah?
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: I thought they were going to fuck that in there, bro.
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: I thought we weren't done for the way this book
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: teases you and gets you so ready for them to smash.
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: And I was ready for it the same bro.
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: I was ready because oh my god. And then basically
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: he releases the glamour and it's amazing. And so then
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: the next day she wakes up and he's released the
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: glamour on everything, and so she's wigging out because she
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: wakes up and usually the slave belly Alice is waking
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: her up and getting her ready, but there's this bird
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: lady with bark skin. She goes, what's going on where's Alice?
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: And Alice is like, you fucking shut up? And so
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: she's realized that he's released like the glamour and she
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: goes to the halls. What it is? She goes through
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: the halls and there's fairy everywhere. She gets in the
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: kitchen and she's wigging out or into the into the
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: dining room and like, what's up? And she's like it's busy,
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: and Lucian laughs and he goes, they've been She thought
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: it was an empty manner. Yeah, He's like, they've been
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: here the whole time. And so she goes, so, you
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: mean when the Pooka, when I followed the Pooka, he
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: was like, oh, yeah, you had an audience. She was like, fuck,
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: I'm an idiot. So that's why Tamlin went out and
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: got it. Okay, now from there, where are we.
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: Can we jump? They hang out a bit more, their
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: connection gets really strong. Can we jump to fire Night?
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: Yeah? We'll go fine, Fine Night? Okay?
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: Where where is finite? The one where Tamlin told her not.
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: To come to Yes, Fine Night's crazy? Yeah, and then
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: she's like, I've got it. I hate how she always
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: dis abasing what saying, So do I he's always looking
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: at it for him. She's like, no, I've got it.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: She doesn't understand the volume of her fucking actions. Okay,
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: he understands, he says. She sees all these things being
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: set up, and she's like, what's happening? He says, tonight,
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: it's fine nighte he says, And you're not invited. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: He was fucking roasting her, and you're not invited. And
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: so basically she they finite comes to fruition. She's out
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: in the halls after being told to stay in her room,
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: and Tamlin's there in like kind of warrior gear and
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: the whole thing of fine night of what it is.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: He hasn't really told her yet, but he said there's
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: this big tradition where they basically he like gathers all
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: the magic of the lands and disperses it or something
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: like that. Right. He doesn't say how it happens, though,
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: and so she doesn't really understand like the volume of
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: this fucking night, this fuck and so it's insane. And
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: so he says to her, like, get back into your room.
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: Lock the doors, do not come out, do not let
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: anyone in. There is fairies here from all these other places.
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: I cannot keep you safe out there. Stay in your room.
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: He runs off, Yeah, looking majestic as ever, right, golden.
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: And so then she starts talking about she's in her
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: room and the drums and the Fine Night just overcome
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: her body, like and they overcome her body, and she's
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: talking and she's like, I can't fucking say it here.
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: This bitch goes to fire Night. Yeah, insane, she's hiding there,
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: So she said, fine eye. She's like walking around and
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: everyone's just like you can tell her all, just like maggot.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: They're all drunk. Different types of fairyes, some with masks,
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: some without. So she knows that this fairies from other
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: realms because the spring realm, the Spring Court, was the
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: only realm where the masks were because they were having
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: a masquerade party the night the blight hit. So she's there,
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: she's getting knocked around, no one's really recognizing her, no
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: one's seeing that she's not a fairy. But then she
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: gets grabbed by this group of three fairies and she's
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: shit in her pants and they're talking about how much
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: fun they're going to have whether when this is over,
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: and she thinks they're talking about like dissecting her and
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: killing her and all that stuff, right, And then next
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: thing she knows there's a figure behinder and these three
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: fairies they're like shitting bricks. Turns around and she's like
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: explaining that she sees the most handsome looking man she
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: has ever seen in her life. He had this aura
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: about him, wearing all black, is soft on the eye,
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: black air. He was something to look at. These are
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: the fairies shit bricks. Yeah, She's kind of like, what okay,
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: And then he starts talking to like, human, I haven't
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: seen one of your kind in a while, and we
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: don't know who this is yet. No, we don't know
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: who this is yet, but we do. Are you doing it?
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: Oh god? And then and so then she's kind of
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: wigging out, and he's kind of just being like, what
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: are you doing here? How'd you get in? You know
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: you shouldn't be here? What's going on? But if you're
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: I think he kind of implies as well, like if
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: you're here at the end, right, it's like, okay, stay safe,
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: stay far away from here. And so then she goes
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: back into like there's a big cave and the fire
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: night's going on, the drums a going and she goes back.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: She disobeys this guy as well, and then she's in
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: this line with all these fairies and something's about to
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: happen right across the fucking road. Loosen spots her next thing.
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: You know, I do think he's a beast by the way,
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: because this happens, and she goes. In the blink of
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: an eye, he was behind her, picks her up like
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: she's nothing, runs back to the house, sits her down.
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: He says, what the fuck are you doing and explains
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: what fire night is. Tamlin gets juiced up by all
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: the magic in the lands, by the other fucking high
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: lords or some shit, runs into a cave and fucks
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: some fairy, has like sweet sweet sex with another fairy,
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: and he says, I have to get you out of there.
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: You have to stay here. It's broke my heart as well.
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: I have to run back because he goes I'm telling
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: you right now, it's not the Tamlin. You know, when
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: he's in this state, it is not the Tamlin. You know.
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: I have to run back right now because when he
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: he smells you that you were there, he will look
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: for you, and you do not wanted him to see you.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: So she goes back and then she's like in bed,
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: she can't sleep, and then finally she hears something out
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: in the hall. She goes out, who is it, Tamla.
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: And he's it sounded like he was drunk. It was like,
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: what's what's We don't know the effects. It's sort of
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: like a something that depicts something in real life. Yeah,
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: it's like a drunk guy coming back to his girlfriend.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: He's like, he's like, why weren't you there? He said,
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: I smell you. Yeah, I was looking for you the
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: one I found. She wanted me to give it to
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: a rough but faired you. I would have fucked you slow.
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: I would have had you calling my name this word
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: for word what he said. I would have had you
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: calling my name. Yeah, And she's like sitting there, she's shuddering,
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: and he has it pinned up against a wall and
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: he's like, don't disobeer me again. She goes, don't tell
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: me what to do, and he bought her. Yes, but
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: I felt bad for her too.
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: The same fuck someone else? Yeah, I got the fuck
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: are you doing, Tamlin?
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: Yeah? And then the next morning she goes down and
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: she thinks she's being all sassy she was gonna cover
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: up the bruise at the bike.
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: She was like, fuck it.
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: And then she goes, fuck it, he did it, he
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: can answer to. She goes down, this is down across.
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: It's right across from Tamblin where she from Lucian, where
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: she doesn't really sit, and Lucian goes, what's that and
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: she's like, ask your friend. Yeah, and Tamblin goes, if
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: you disobey me, that's gonna happen, and she was like.
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: Fuck ro fucking crazy okay.
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: And so then apparent and then kind of she like
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: hop skip and jumps straight away in like four sentences
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: and goes, we apologize later, blah blah blah, we're friends
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: again whatever. And so then from there we're going to
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: skip up to Solstice. Yes, okay, yes, so Solstice isn't
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: This is like maybe a month later or a couple
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: of weeks later. Solstice is the longest day of the year,
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: and they celebrate summer. Big party, big party. She is
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: invited to this. Yes, everyone's having the greatest time ever.
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: She starts drinking, let her guards down. Yes, she drinks
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: the Fairies wine. She Drinksblin told her was okay, Lucian
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: was begging her not to drink the fairy wine.
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: Yeah, and then no, and then we'll go she's drunk
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: the wine. And then Tamlin's playing that instrument.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: Yes, he's playing an instrument.
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: And then she just like describes his forearms and then
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: like moves up to his chest and his things unbuttoned,
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: and she's like she's high as fucking as well. She's
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: just getting like turned off describing him as well, and
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: he just doesn't give fuck. She said something or said
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: something like I'm sorry I drank the wine or something,
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: and he just didn't even respond.
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: Lucian I apologized, he said I tried to stop her,
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: and he goes Lucien, he like waves him off. He
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: goes go out have fun, and then he's like I'll
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: handle it. Yeah, I'll take care of her. And apparently
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: they dance until the dawn, bro, and then you have
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: to talk about what happened at dawn? Where were they happened?
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: This is the first proper sex scene me and Jake
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: have ever experienced.
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: But they didn't have sex yet scene. No, they just
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: they just made out.
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: And then they have sex out.
- 1:15:03Speaker 4: No, they had sex, what I don't think they did oh.
- 1:15:06Speaker 4: I thought that was what it was alluding to, maybe,
- 1:15:10Speaker 4: but I don't think so. They made out hard, right,
- 1:15:15Speaker 4: And she said that at the end of this chapter
- 1:15:17Speaker 4: of them making out, she said that she had a
- 1:15:18Speaker 4: tear in her eye and it's the happiest moment of
- 1:15:20Speaker 4: her life.
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: Or they watched the sunrise after this big night of partying.
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: This is the first time they properly made out mate, right,
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: And so then it's kind of like all happy happy,
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: And then they're eating lunch because they slept in that
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: day until midday. They're eating lunch.
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: They had sex then too, oh, and then the next
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: one was there, yeah.
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: And so what happened. What happens is they're eating lunch
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: and Tamlin grouse because he senses something, and then Lucien
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: senses it and he's like okay. He's like, get favrah
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: to the to the c yeah, and then over to
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: the curtain. She's like, what's going on and they're like
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: go now. She runs over to the curtain. Tamlin stands
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: in front of her with his sword down, ready to fight.
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: She said, he's never seen him this serious, so not tamilin.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: Lucian's covering her and then Tamlin he sits down kind
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: of like as if relaxed. He's alone, He's all alone.
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: And she said she can tell that Lucian put a
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: glamour over her so the person coming in couldn't see her.
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: And then who the fox strolls in, the guy, the
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: guy that saved her on fire, those three fairies, and
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: she was like the fuck yeah, and then Tamlin goes, recent,
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: what do you want? Yeah, and he's like, I haven't
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: seen you in forty years, forty nine years, Tamlin, you
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: call me that, That's all I get. This motherfucker is powerful.
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: And then Luiful and all of them, Lucian's got balls.
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: He goes, what's Amarantha's horde doing? Yeah, we finally learn
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: her name. Who this sheet is?
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: Yeah, Amarantha, but we still don't have of what she is.
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: We know who resent it, we know she's powerful, and
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: reason's there and he's like, did you get my gift? Oh?
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: We forgot to talk about that, And it was the head.
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: We forgot to mention that he left. There was just
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: a random fairy.
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: Head, was it?
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: Yeah, So there was a fairy head on a stake,
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: and it was because like he knows the Blight's back.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: Well, he knows the blight's back, and what it was
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: was it was very fresh, and Tamlin says, when they
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: found it, this couldn't have been here more than a
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: couple of hours. And the message that's being sent with
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: that is, hey, I got through your security and out undetected.
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: You fucking suck. And so he comes in and he goes,
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: did you get my message? And Tamlin was like, yeah,
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: not funny. Some deadheads, Yeah not funny. So up until
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: this point, right, Tamlin is pure beast, pure animal. No
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: one can even threaten him. Tamlin's shit in his fucking
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: pants with this guy. He's weak, bullshit this pants. I
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: go the biggest dick from Tatlin right because he Reson's
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: about to leave and he's talking about her again. He's
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: about Amarantha and I don't really know what she's gonna do,
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: but basically he's just gonna be like, Oh, they're going
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: to keep on coming. I don't know what's happening yet.
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: And then he's about to leave and he notices there's
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: a table set for three, and he goes, ah, where's
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: your guest? And then he looks over at Lucian and
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: he goes, how dare you glamor me waves it off,
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: sees favor recognize her, and he goes, thought, I told
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: you to stay far bro okay, and then basically he's like,
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: what are you doing here? And Lucian says that this
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: is my girlfriend, the girl, and then and then he goes, Lucian,
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: I didn't you know, didn't expect you to, like I
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: thought you weren't over that one girl that you were
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: in love with. I didn't expect you to go down
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: to mortal filth or something. I don't know whatever. Lucian
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: used to have a girlfriend and got killed. Lucians from
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: the Autumn Court. Guys, we're leaving it out, but there's
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: too much info. There's heaps of info. Lucian used to
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: be high he's high lord whatever he was going to be.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: And then Tamlin gets up and he's like Recent leave
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: and he goes and he's like, please don't don't tell
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: Amarantha because Recent gets reads her mind. It's Favorites, money
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: comes down to her. Lucien's like, get the way and
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: he literally he goes. She's like he just like swipe
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: a loution away like he was nothing, goes down and
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: he's like, he said that she said that he's like
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: reading her mind and like scraping a metal fucking fork
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: on her brain or something is what it felt like.
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: She was wigging out and he's like, Tamlin's like, reason,
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: stop enough, and he goes, ah, you don't even want
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: to know the thoughts that she's having about you, Tamlor,
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: and then he like reads her mind and he realized
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: that it's Tamblin's misss and he goes, I wonder what
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: she would think about this, like Amarantha, and Tamlin fucking goes,
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: please don't tell her, and he goes, beg me. Tamlin
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: gets down on his hands and he was the best,
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: puts his fucking face on the floor and says, please
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: don't tell Amarantha. I'm begging you. This motherfucker got down
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: and begged like a bitch.
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: I'm upset about it, but I know, I know, I
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: know because we thought he was the best. And then
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: recent leaves yep. Eventually finally and he goes, I'll think
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: about it. I may tell her, I may not.
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: And and oh this is sad but also good. Yeah,
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: I'm pissed off about this.
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: So Tamlin goes, you've got to leave. Yeah, it comes
- 1:20:07Speaker 2: in the next morning. It's not saying no, no, it comes
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: in that night. It was yeah, it's not it's not
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: safe you And she's like, what do you mean. I've
- 1:20:14Speaker 2: just come to terms that this is my forever place.
- 1:20:17Speaker 2: It's like, it's not safe you're here. And then he
- 1:20:18Speaker 2: explains like how it's going to all work out of
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: Selby family and.
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: She's like, no, we can't have that. She's like, what
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: about the treaty and he says, I've taken on your Yeah,
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: I've taken it on for you, and if someone comes
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: for me, then if they have a problem, they can
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: take it up with me. Yeah. Yeah, So how do
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: we explain this bit? The way it's written was so, guys, nice,
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: fuck it. I'm reading it. I know I know everything
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: about this. Page two forty seven is there? This is seven.
- 1:20:48Speaker 2: He had that in his head. He's been reading that
- 1:20:49Speaker 2: more than once.
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: You don't even I went red. All right, here we
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: go to forty fucking seven. He lunged a beast, freed
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: of its tether. We were tangled, so we were a
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: tangle of limbs, and teeth. I tore at his clothes
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: until they were on the floor, then tore at his skin.
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: Then I marked him down as his back, his arms,
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: his caws were out but devastatingly gentle on my hips
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: as he slid down between my thighs and feasted on me,
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: stopping only after I shuddered and fractured. I was moaning
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: his name when he sheathed himself inside me in a
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: powerful slow thrust that had me spilintering around him. We
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: moved together, unending and wild burning. And when I and
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: when I went over the edge the next time, he
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: roared and went with me ha ha ah man. And
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: then she goes on to be like and then we
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: chilled ait for a bit and then we just fucked again. Yeah.
- 1:21:53Speaker 2: Yeah, we had like a passionate love making session.
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: No, it relaxed.
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: It was like an effortless love making session. And then
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: but then she wakes up and she's expecting like they're
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: on good terms and everything, like.
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: She's gonna stay. Yeah, she's not going to send her home.
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: She he's sending her back to her family.
- 1:22:09Speaker 2: Yeah, She's like no, had say, it's like, well good.
- 1:22:11Speaker 2: Then she then she's he's just like Tams like pack
- 1:22:13Speaker 2: your things.
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: Yeah, he's like, you gotta go, and she's like what
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: She's like, I got what I wanted. Yeah, it's fucked bro.
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: And then she just like leaves and I was like,
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: what if she gets sent home and he ends it
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: and you know what else he does. He sticks his
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: head in in the carriage and goes, don't forget I
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: love you. Yeah, she's leaving.
- 1:22:27Speaker 2: That was fun. It's another thing of like, that's fucking
- 1:22:30Speaker 2: depicting men. Yeah, they'll say I love you everything. This
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: mother fucker. I know it's going to work out, but
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: still it's not the right thing to do.
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: And she gets home and her parents and her dad's
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: just rich. Yeah, she gets back and she's like no,
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: sister's like, who the fuck are you. Yeah, they didn't
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: recognize that she wasn't so skinny anymore.
- 1:22:44Speaker 2: Yeah, we didn't touch on the fact that Frey has
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: got even hotter has got like she described like, you
- 1:22:49Speaker 2: don't see my muscles anymore.
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: Yeah, like her her family was under the impression that
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: she was away looking after her aunts. She doesn't. They
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: don't know that she was in Priythian. But yeah, she's
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: back now, and and chapter ended with her just like
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: kind of just have been back for about three days
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: or something.
- 1:23:06Speaker 2: She checked out the old crib. I was like, what
- 1:23:08Speaker 2: was this shit all about?
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: Yeah? Family, she's also just rich, Like Tamlin sent her
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: back with jewels.
- 1:23:14Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, and then like her dad's counted and she
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: had no and she and Tamlin fixed her dad's knee.
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: Yeah, Tamlin fixed her dad's knee. Tamlin gave apparently he
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: like set her dad up. Well, so well, you guys
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: need to read this, but we can't give you all
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: the details. Will be here for four hours. But okay,
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: that's what we're up to. Predictions.
- 1:23:31Speaker 2: Mine's crazy, you go, Okay, I actually have no direction.
- 1:23:36Speaker 2: So what I thought was going to happen was they
- 1:23:38Speaker 2: were gonna have sex and then she wasn't gonna leave,
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: Like they're gonna fight for each other for her to stay,
- 1:23:42Speaker 2: but she's left already. So I think Prithian's gonna get
- 1:23:46Speaker 2: a ship, like absolutely everything's going to take a takeover.
- 1:23:50Speaker 2: Amarantha's gonna find out like everything and hate Tamlin, and
- 1:23:53Speaker 2: then they're gonna like fight and the Light's going to
- 1:23:55Speaker 2: take over. Something is going to go down there. Yeah,
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: and Tamlin's gonna need for her for something, favorite for something, Okay,
- 1:24:02Speaker 2: but I don't know. But he needs a reason to
- 1:24:05Speaker 2: come back and get her. But I don't know what
- 1:24:06Speaker 2: that reason is.
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: Because he says to her that this is not the
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: last time we will see each other, and he says,
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: I love you, and he's going to figure it out
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: and she'll be back, right, that's yours.
- 1:24:17Speaker 2: I reckon, there's gonna be something where that Land's going
- 1:24:20Speaker 2: to be fighting and some reason being a human is
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: going to be a superpower that they can't see her
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: or something and she's going to become a beast something
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: like that.
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: I like it. Yeah, I like that. Okay. The whole
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: purpose of him sending her home was so that the
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: fairies from the Night Realm cannot find her. Okay. He says,
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: have your wits about you because they will have spies. Okay,
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: this is crazy and outlandish of me, I think genuinely
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: because of the way she explained resand the night that
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: he saves her from those fairies are fine.
- 1:25:01Speaker 2: I reckon, she's going to fuck him.
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: I reckon love Triangle recent and favor fuck. Oh fuck,
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: I think I see it.
- 1:25:13Speaker 2: It's got potential. It's got potential.
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: And I'll tell you what I'll I'm throwing my book
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: if that happens, I'm throwing my book at a window.
- 1:25:20Speaker 2: If that, do you, Reckon, Reason's gonna come looking for her,
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: and then she's gonna be like, I fucking hate Tamlin
- 1:25:26Speaker 2: now I and out a spot. She's gonna fucking because
- 1:25:29Speaker 2: so she's.
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: Gonna be mad at sending her. She's gonna end up
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: just fucking hating Tamlin for sending her away.
- 1:25:35Speaker 2: Reason's gonna find her after this. I love you bullshit
- 1:25:39Speaker 2: like that toxicity. I'm thinking that could happen. It's like,
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: just remember I love you and then leave like fuck ofugh.
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: Tamlin's gonna be jealous and you're gonna try and get
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: her back, And bro, I see it. I I just
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: because of the way she explained what he looked like,
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: why else.
- 1:25:53Speaker 2: Would you do it?
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: Why else would you explain that? Because she's obviously sexually
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: attracted to and he is Amarantha's whore, so oh no,
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: here we go.
- 1:26:06Speaker 2: So she will fuck recent and Amarantha will find out
- 1:26:09Speaker 2: and Amarantha will be like, she has to die.
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: But Reson is going to fall in love with him,
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: and he's going to try and save her. And Tamlin
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: and Recent they're going to have to work together to
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: kill Amarantha to protect the one they love, and they're
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: both doing it to win Bayra's love, and she has
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: to choose this. Holy shit on you, this could.
- 1:26:27Speaker 2: Be so right or so wrong.
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: I like it. I love it.
- 1:26:30Speaker 2: And then we're obviously going to find out Amarantha is
- 1:26:33Speaker 2: going to be a fucking weapon.
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: Oh, I don't even she has to be. She has
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: to be, and she's going to be. Clearly she is
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: older than Prithy in itself because the high lords are
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: supposed to be the most powerful, but she's more powerful
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: because I don't think she's a high lord. I imagine Recent.
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure Recent is fucking yeah, I'm pretty sure
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: Recent is the high lord of the Night Realm and
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: she's higher up.
- 1:26:56Speaker 2: Yeah, that one's so weak.
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: I thought it was gonna be the best. Talmon was
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: a fucking I'm hate Tamlin. Yeah, Lucian Love, Yeah, Yeah,
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: Lucien Love. Yeah, Tamlin, you're a pussy.
- 1:27:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: Legitimately, like, just fucking tell the.
- 1:27:07Speaker 2: Truth from the start, maybe going back to the start
- 1:27:09Speaker 2: of the episode. True, yeah, maybe so, guys, that was fucked.
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: Next chapter we're going to read together where we're going
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: to go do because we we how many chapters in
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: the book. It's forty five and fifteen. Last time we
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: end it.
- 1:27:28Speaker 2: Shit, this went way quicker than I thought.
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: So chapter thirty and the last chapter okay, chapter forty five,
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: because then it goes to acknowledgments.
- 1:27:39Speaker 2: Okay, shit, there's a lot of the acknowledgements.
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: So that's the finish.
- 1:27:45Speaker 2: That's too much because that recap just took fucking half
- 1:27:47Speaker 2: an hour. Let's do seven, yeah, seven half seven chapters.
- 1:27:50Speaker 2: Seven chapters because the recap took a long time.
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: Yeah, so seven chapters, so the recap next time doesn't
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: take as long, and there's two more episodes, and then
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: we're onto the next fucking book.
- 1:27:58Speaker 2: Fuck already, man, life changing life.
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: We've been told the next book's better. Yeah.
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: Mate, this is the first time it's picked up, and
- 1:28:04Speaker 2: everyone's like, wait, do it gets to the end of
- 1:28:06Speaker 2: I'm like, ok, I've waited it long enough.
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: And also, here's one thing I noticed, so on the
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: comments of our last video on Instagram of the book update, right, people,
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: I think I said something like I just want Fair
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: to admit she just wants to get railed by Tamlin.
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: And someone commented like, oh, just you wait, like cause
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: you said, oh, you think there's gonna be some sexy scenes,
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: And then someone else commented, like sexy scenes understatement. Okay,
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: the first sex scene we've read, it was good, don't
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: get me wrong. Yeah it's good. But I'm expecting way
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: fucking more from those car I was expecting like a
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: full full chapter. I was expecting a full chat, yes, Sair,
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: I expected one full chapter to be a sex session. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:28:47Speaker 2: I'm not gonna lie like all these smart books that
- 1:28:51Speaker 2: I genuinely thought it was all just sex.
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: The storyline is crazy.
- 1:28:54Speaker 2: Well this is only like this isn't really smart.
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: This is like sexy scene. Okay, let's this. I love this. Yeah,
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: this is like fantasy.
- 1:29:02Speaker 2: Fantasy with a little bit of sexiness in it, whereas
- 1:29:04Speaker 2: like we don't even know what that world is, Like,
- 1:29:05Speaker 2: ohly shit, that's probably down the track when we've got
- 1:29:08Speaker 2: some experience, we're like losing our virginity our book of virginity.
- 1:29:12Speaker 2: Fantasy didn't make you horny at all, I was thinking,
- 1:29:15Speaker 2: so a lot of comments are girls read books for
- 1:29:19Speaker 2: porn and guys watch porn? And I was like, this
- 1:29:21Speaker 2: is quite nice. I feel quite like. I don't know
- 1:29:25Speaker 2: how to describe the feeling when I'm reading a sexy
- 1:29:27Speaker 2: scene because I'm not getting a boner.
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: No, I wasn't getting a boner, but I was picturing it.
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: Like when she said something, she goes like I straddled him,
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: like I feel sexy, Like I just felt sexy, and
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: when guys wank like I don't feel sexy. No, I
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: feel quite gros like it felt reading it felt good.
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: I felt like this is nice. Yeah, that's cool. It
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: was finny. Yeah, I fuck crazy. I liked it. I
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: didn't think i'd ever read this shit. I love it.
- 1:29:53Speaker 2: That's really it's really it's an insight into a world
- 1:29:55Speaker 2: we didn't even like realize.
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: Yeah, it's cool. We go and wed. Not that I
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: did like giving them long episodes, but sorry, guys, we
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: got to work on this.
- 1:30:05Speaker 2: We might have to do a whole fucking special episode
- 1:30:07Speaker 2: to finish it. To finish it, yeah, she or we
- 1:30:10Speaker 2: can make like a whole new episode just for Baddies
- 1:30:13Speaker 2: book Club.
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: Maybe we should do that. That's an extra episode every week.
- 1:30:17Speaker 2: Like it's just us, Like no structure is talking about
- 1:30:20Speaker 2: the book.
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: Wow, because we just talked about it for forty five minutes.
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: That's fucked.
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: That's someone.
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: Okay, guys, you know what time it is time to
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: call one of you wonderful baddies. If you do want
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: to be called by us to finish off an episode,
