- 0:29Speaker 5: Friday, Friday, even.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Though I don't know what day it is day it's
- 0:34Speaker 2: Mix one or two point nine. Billy the Kid. Candaelpez
- 0:37Speaker 2: is your producer, Poo is here. It is Friday. Good morning, Cannis.
- 0:41Speaker 3: How are you good?
- 0:41Speaker 5: So Tuesday is Friday.
- 0:43Speaker 3: It is the most Tuesday Friday ever.
- 0:45Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm good though. What I had to tell you guys,
- 0:47Speaker 5: what made me cry this time? In my mom life?
- 0:50Speaker 5: I feel like I just need to start a files
- 0:52Speaker 5: of what what file of what made me cry today?
- 0:54Speaker 2: Why?
- 0:55Speaker 5: So, until got a slot car track for Christmas this year,
- 0:58Speaker 5: and he's had his whole room taken up by that,
- 1:00Speaker 5: and so he hasn't really done much but that until
- 1:02Speaker 5: he started playing the drums again this week. Yeah, and
- 1:06Speaker 5: yesterday he was playing Sunflower. You know the post Malone
- 1:09Speaker 5: is from like the Spider Man or whatever soundtrack, and
- 1:12Speaker 5: like this was the first time I'd heard him. I
- 1:14Speaker 5: mean he's been in there for like days, just practicing
- 1:17Speaker 5: and like playing the same beats over and over, and
- 1:19Speaker 5: he finally got it yesterday all by himself. It was
- 1:21Speaker 5: like really doing like some decent drumming. And I just
- 1:24Speaker 5: sat there and like he was, you know, just drumming away,
- 1:27Speaker 5: and I was crying. He couldn't see me. I get that, Yeah,
- 1:30Speaker 5: And I just pictured back to like when i'd take
- 1:32Speaker 5: him to Mommy and me like little music class where
- 1:34Speaker 5: they just crawl on the floor and grab like any
- 1:37Speaker 5: little rattle or whatever, I know, and I would just
- 1:40Speaker 5: caught myself in tears, and I'm like, my kid's just drumming,
- 1:43Speaker 5: that's all he's doing. But it like made me just
- 1:45Speaker 5: so proud. I don't know, it's proud. The word up emotional.
- 1:50Speaker 3: No, that's a perfect word for it. It's proud, proud moment. Yeah,
- 1:53Speaker 3: And uh, that's a big deal.
- 1:55Speaker 2: I mean I could practice that forever and probably not
- 1:57Speaker 2: be able to drum it, so good for him at
- 1:59Speaker 2: seven years old, that's a big deal.
- 2:01Speaker 5: So it was a good moment for sure.
- 2:03Speaker 2: When your kid does something like that, you get proud.
- 2:05Speaker 2: I cry over little things. I'm super emotional too, So
- 2:09Speaker 2: who cries over nothing?
- 2:11Speaker 5: I craw over tacos, Yeah, spilled tacos.
- 2:15Speaker 3: Yeah I get that. I totally get it.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:17Speaker 5: I mean I took him to those little baby classes
- 2:19Speaker 5: all the time where they would barely like hang on
- 2:21Speaker 5: to the big drum to stand up, you know, to
- 2:23Speaker 5: push themselves up to stand and try to just tap
- 2:25Speaker 5: on it and do anything. And then I thrived in
- 2:28Speaker 5: those mommy and me music classes back in the day.
- 2:30Speaker 2: You know when I cried when I bought my son
- 2:32Speaker 2: a drum set. It was like big Christmas gift one year,
- 2:35Speaker 2: and he was so excited and he played it once
- 2:38Speaker 2: and never played it again. Yeah, no, I ended up
- 2:42Speaker 2: giving it away, But I mean I was just so
- 2:45Speaker 2: like he was so excited, just no interest. Once he
- 2:48Speaker 2: figured it out, he was like, yeah, I tried it
- 2:50Speaker 2: wasn't into it.
- 2:51Speaker 3: So, yeah, my.
- 2:51Speaker 5: Dad's a drummer, and so it's like cool to see
- 2:54Speaker 5: him do it, I know, watching my dad. Yeah, my
- 2:56Speaker 5: dad play all the time, like Beatles and Elvis and
- 2:59Speaker 5: I mean everything. So that's why I cried this week.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Well, you know what, we can cry together, cause we
- 3:06Speaker 2: can cry together, because there's nothing wrong with that.
- 3:08Speaker 3: I do have tissue over here, Producer Phoo is here.
- 3:11Speaker 3: What's up, Poo.
- 3:12Speaker 6: I'm feeling extra crispy today because you haven't noticed I
- 3:15Speaker 6: got them in what is it?
- 3:19Speaker 5: I actually noticed you wearing those in the kitchen, but
- 3:21Speaker 5: I didn't think it was you because I was like,
- 3:22Speaker 5: who's got those cool shoes?
- 3:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I finally got my Lucas in wait, I thought
- 3:26Speaker 2: you were buying them for your son.
- 3:27Speaker 3: Huh yeah, yeah, I said, I got to go find
- 3:31Speaker 3: Lucas for my son and he about to Lucas for here.
- 3:34Speaker 2: You know, I've been asking you. I was like, hey,
- 3:36Speaker 2: where did I get these?
- 3:37Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 3:38Speaker 2: And I ordered them and they came in.
- 3:40Speaker 6: Shout out to my maintenance man, Jose because the office
- 3:43Speaker 6: clothes at five point thirty and I saw the fed
- 3:46Speaker 6: extrug deliver to the office and the office was closed.
- 3:49Speaker 6: I saw his little golf cart and I was like,
- 3:51Speaker 6: I need my shoes. Well, good for you, poo hooked.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't want to brag, but I'm feeling extra
- 3:57Speaker 2: crispy too. Oh yeah, you want to see my new shoes. Yeah, yeah,
- 4:05Speaker 2: I have my boot on because I had to go
- 4:07Speaker 2: to the doctor yesterday because I tore my calf muscle
- 4:10Speaker 2: and now I'm in a boot and I'm crutches.
- 4:13Speaker 3: The good news is he doesn't think I need surgery.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Oh that's good. But that's good. But the muscle that
- 4:18Speaker 2: tore is like very close to my achilles, so we'll see.
- 4:23Speaker 2: But yeah, it just sucks just waddling around. I cried
- 4:26Speaker 2: eight times yesterday. Oh bit, I had door dash groceries.
- 4:30Speaker 2: It took me literally thirty minutes to go to get
- 4:33Speaker 2: bagged bag with crutches and try to waddle to the
- 4:37Speaker 2: kitchen and put them away.
- 4:39Speaker 3: And you know what it makes, you appreciate your legs?
- 4:41Speaker 5: Yeah, for sure.
- 4:42Speaker 2: And I know people have it worse. So I'm not
- 4:43Speaker 2: gonna keep playing. I'm just doing my thing. But then
- 4:46Speaker 2: I left something upstairs the other day before I got injured,
- 4:50Speaker 2: so I couldn't go upstairs and get it.
- 4:51Speaker 3: Yeah, do you know how long it would take me
- 4:53Speaker 3: to get upstairs? Exactly?
- 4:54Speaker 2: I might as well not even have it upstairs right now.
- 4:57Speaker 2: So yeah, this is maybe I should put a Nike
- 4:59Speaker 2: sign on my boot.
- 5:00Speaker 5: Yeah for sure. Georgie's finger.
- 5:02Speaker 2: These are my focus tough stories on the tents with
- 5:07Speaker 2: Billy the Kid in the.
- 5:08Speaker 5: Morning only on the new Mix one two point nine.
- 5:11Speaker 3: I can slow pass bright and early this morning.
- 5:13Speaker 2: What is going on?
- 5:14Speaker 5: Yeah, I just saw a post saying we should resume
- 5:16Speaker 5: the faucet dripping tonight, and I just don't know if
- 5:18Speaker 5: I can do that. Guys, they're saying temps will drop
- 5:20Speaker 5: into the teens by tomorrow morning.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Oh I can. Well, you know what the good news.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Mine are still dripping upstairs because I can't get up there,
- 5:27Speaker 2: so yourself it just dripping NonStop. So I was thinking.
- 5:31Speaker 5: Ahead, Yeah, well, we're gonna be out of a cold
- 5:33Speaker 5: weather advisory overnight tonight. So just a heads up. Today
- 5:36Speaker 5: looks nice and cool though, high of fifty one. But
- 5:39Speaker 5: by next Friday, seventy two is in the forecast.
- 5:42Speaker 2: You sue, next wee Friday's happening seventy two. Yeah, I
- 5:45Speaker 2: mean it's typical Texas weather. You don't know what's going
- 5:47Speaker 2: to do.
- 5:47Speaker 5: Yeah, I guess. So this just feels really extreme to
- 5:50Speaker 5: go from an ice storm, you know, to the next
- 5:52Speaker 5: week seventy two. But I guess. Yeah, another good weekend
- 5:55Speaker 5: to stay inside. That I thirty Corridor Canyon project is
- 5:58Speaker 5: going on, so it'll be shut down through downtown Dallas
- 6:01Speaker 5: again this weekend. Just a reminder, and a Minnesota man
- 6:04Speaker 5: was arrested yesterday after allegedly attempting to free Luigi Mangioni
- 6:09Speaker 5: from the Metropolitan Detention Center. Authority say the man was
- 6:13Speaker 5: impersonating an FBI agent and told prison staff he had
- 6:17Speaker 5: a judge signed order to release a federal inmate. When
- 6:21Speaker 5: he was asked for credentials, he only had his driver's
- 6:23Speaker 5: license and what they're calling numerous documents. They haven't said
- 6:27Speaker 5: what those documents were. Officers then searched his bag to
- 6:31Speaker 5: find a barbecue fork in a circular steel blade they
- 6:35Speaker 5: say resembled a pizza cutter.
- 6:37Speaker 2: You gotta he thought he was going to break Luigi
- 6:41Speaker 2: out of prison with a pizza cutter.
- 6:43Speaker 5: Yeah, a barbecue fork. I'm so confused by this.
- 6:48Speaker 3: You know, I don't need anything. Just give me the
- 6:51Speaker 3: helldo give me that.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Give me that pizza cutter, some dut tape and a
- 6:56Speaker 2: pizza cutter and a barbecue What is a barbecue fork?
- 6:59Speaker 5: Yeah, that's a good ques. I think it's like the large,
- 7:01Speaker 5: like one of those big ones, you know, like the
- 7:03Speaker 5: pokers crimple XL situation.
- 7:06Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, like that I guess.
- 7:10Speaker 5: So, yeah, I'd love to know what the plan was.
- 7:12Speaker 2: The battle plan plan is that.
- 7:17Speaker 5: He was charged with impersonating a federal officer. He's being
- 7:21Speaker 5: held until he can appear in court. I'll keep you
- 7:24Speaker 5: posting on that one guy. The Grammys are this Sunday.
- 7:27Speaker 5: Almost forgot Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga. Yeah, I know, because
- 7:33Speaker 5: we've been in you know, Alaska, just not thinking about
- 7:36Speaker 5: what's really going on. But uh, Lady Gaga will also perform,
- 7:40Speaker 5: as will Justin Bieber, Serena Carpenter, Farrell and Post Malone.
- 7:44Speaker 5: I guess Post is part of the in Memoriam tribute
- 7:48Speaker 5: coming on Sunday night, But each nominee for Best New
- 7:51Speaker 5: Artists will perform, so Olivia Dean, Alex Warren, Kat's Eye,
- 7:54Speaker 5: Somber and more. But if you remember the highlights from
- 7:57Speaker 5: last year, Kendrick one big Record of the Year Song
- 8:01Speaker 5: of the Year. He won both of those for Not
- 8:03Speaker 5: Like Us Chapel Rohne won Best New Artist and Beyonce
- 8:06Speaker 5: one for Album of the Year for Cowboy Carter. But
- 8:09Speaker 5: Trevor Noah's gonna host for his sixth and final time.
- 8:11Speaker 5: You can watch on CBS starting at seven Sunday night,
- 8:14Speaker 5: and a lot of people are excited to see Justin Bieber.
- 8:17Speaker 5: This is a big performance for him. He hasn't really
- 8:19Speaker 5: done a whole lot.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Yeah, you know on TV that is something I would
- 8:23Speaker 2: watch that. I haven't watched the Grammys the last couple
- 8:25Speaker 2: of years because it's just kind of like whatever.
- 8:27Speaker 3: I don't know, they've changed over the years.
- 8:29Speaker 5: Yeah, it's hard to know which year it's just going
- 8:31Speaker 5: to be all about you know, we're just trying to
- 8:33Speaker 5: start drama or you know. The performances are like, I
- 8:36Speaker 5: don't know, I'm a mom, and so sometimes they get
- 8:38Speaker 5: a little you know, you know, risque, and I'm like, well,
- 8:41Speaker 5: I got mom. Well, I mean I got a seven
- 8:43Speaker 5: year old. Don't want to see like certain people out
- 8:45Speaker 5: there like doings.
- 8:46Speaker 3: Justin Bieber's shirtless ends O close your eyes.
- 8:50Speaker 5: I I just don't know.
- 8:51Speaker 3: Sometimes you see Bieber nips at seven, No you don't.
- 8:56Speaker 5: But he loves the performances. That's the thing about these shows,
- 8:59Speaker 5: Like he loves to watch all of them because he
- 9:00Speaker 5: just wants to see the performances. Nobody cares about the awards.
- 9:03Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, so, but I am curious, So I'll be
- 9:06Speaker 5: tuning in. There you go. I'm Cannas Lopez. Those are
- 9:09Speaker 5: your Texas top story.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Frieler fake news. I got three headlines. One of them
- 9:13Speaker 2: is fake. You gotta tell me which one, Canna. Are
- 9:15Speaker 2: you ready?
- 9:15Speaker 5: I'm ready?
- 9:16Speaker 3: Who are you ready?
- 9:17Speaker 2: It's just a fun way to talk about ridiculous stories
- 9:19Speaker 2: in the news too. Headline number one, police looking for
- 9:22Speaker 2: owner of a loose runaway kangaroo in Cleveland, Texas. Police
- 9:28Speaker 2: looking for the owner of a loose runaway kangaroo in Cleveland, Texas.
- 9:33Speaker 2: All right? Headline number two. Tito's Vodka set to release
- 9:37Speaker 2: a spicy pickle vodka. Tito's Vodkas set to release a
- 9:41Speaker 2: spicy pickle vodka.
- 9:44Speaker 3: All right? Headline number three.
- 9:46Speaker 2: Man in serious legal trouble for creating fake bands with AI,
- 9:51Speaker 2: then making ten million dollars by listening to their songs
- 9:54Speaker 2: with bots.
- 9:56Speaker 5: What oh?
- 9:57Speaker 2: Man in serious legal trouble for reading fake bands with AI,
- 10:02Speaker 2: then making ten million dollars by listening to their stories
- 10:06Speaker 2: or songs with bots? Okay, all right? Three stories, one
- 10:10Speaker 2: of them is fake. You gotta tell me which one
- 10:13Speaker 2: is the fake story? Candas, would you like to go first?
- 10:16Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 10:16Speaker 5: I guess so. Just lock me in for that first story,
- 10:18Speaker 5: the kangaroo. Really, yeah, okay, in Cleveland, Texas. Where is Cleveland, Texas?
- 10:23Speaker 5: Do we know something it matters?
- 10:25Speaker 2: I think it's by Houston.
- 10:26Speaker 5: Okay. If I had to guess, if I changed my mind,
- 10:29Speaker 5: then well you lock it, lock it.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Okay, you were locked in candas. Now it can't be changed, right,
- 10:35Speaker 2: no matter what, unless I can.
- 10:37Speaker 5: Change the master key.
- 10:38Speaker 3: Yeah I do.
- 10:39Speaker 2: All right, there you go. You're locked in, producer Pooh,
- 10:41Speaker 2: which one do you think is a fake story?
- 10:43Speaker 6: I'm gonna go with that last story, the man getting
- 10:45Speaker 6: his hustle on with making ten million dollars with bots?
- 10:48Speaker 2: All right.
- 10:49Speaker 3: I don't think that's real.
- 10:50Speaker 2: No, I don't think it's real. You want to lock
- 10:51Speaker 2: that in? Lock me in.
- 10:52Speaker 3: Once it's locked in, it can't be changed.
- 10:54Speaker 2: Lock me in, clac clag Yeah.
- 10:58Speaker 3: It's locked in.
- 10:59Speaker 2: And guess what. But you were both losers. I actually
- 11:05Speaker 2: won because you didn't pick up the fake story. The
- 11:07Speaker 2: fake story is the pickle vodka.
- 11:08Speaker 5: Oh you didn't see that happening.
- 11:10Speaker 2: The Tito's is not releasing a spicy pickle vodka. They
- 11:14Speaker 2: were I know, I thought it sounds kind of good
- 11:16Speaker 2: when I made it up. Yeah, I was like, I
- 11:18Speaker 2: try to well, I was inspired by Absolute Vodka because
- 11:21Speaker 2: I guess they're coming out with a Tabasco flavored oh vodka. Eh, yeah,
- 11:27Speaker 2: Tabasco flavored Tabasco flavored vodka they're launching.
- 11:33Speaker 3: I guess soon. I don't know. I mean, that doesn't
- 11:35Speaker 3: sound too bad because you can.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Put it in like bloody Mary's. Oh okay, So I
- 11:39Speaker 2: guess that doesn't sound bad.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:41Speaker 5: I don't really drink those, so you don't know. I
- 11:43Speaker 5: think I'd rather have the spicy pickle of.
- 11:46Speaker 3: A good bloody Mary. Yeah, for like fifteen million things
- 11:49Speaker 3: in it, you know.
- 11:50Speaker 5: Airport. Yeah, I feel like I only people drink those
- 11:53Speaker 5: of the airports.
- 11:54Speaker 2: On your rings, celery bacon pancake and there they garnish
- 11:58Speaker 2: you with everything. Yeah, it's like thirty eight dollars. I
- 12:02Speaker 2: still got a Bloody maryon leiway at the airport.
- 12:05Speaker 3: All right. Yes, this is a real story.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Somebody lost to kangaroo and if you did, police in Cleveland, Texas,
- 12:10Speaker 2: they're looking for you because they got a call dispatch
- 12:13Speaker 2: too many reports of a loose kangaroo hopping down the
- 12:16Speaker 2: middle of FM ten ten in Liberty County with the
- 12:19Speaker 2: help of animal control and a few good Samaritans, the
- 12:22Speaker 2: unexpected visitor was safely captured without incident. No injuries reported,
- 12:26Speaker 2: which is a good thing because kangaroos are very violent. Yeah,
- 12:30Speaker 2: I mean they can punch you. They will punch you. Oh,
- 12:32Speaker 2: I know, they will absolutely punch you right in the face.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Authorities say the kangaroo is now secure. Yeah, I guess
- 12:38Speaker 2: they're trying to figure out who owns it. It is
- 12:40Speaker 2: legal to own a kangaroo in Texas, Yes, one of
- 12:43Speaker 2: thirteen states that allows kangaroos to be kept as pets.
- 12:47Speaker 3: It's no good old Texas.
- 12:49Speaker 2: My son's friend has one.
- 12:51Speaker 3: Why do you always say this?
- 12:52Speaker 2: But no, what you know, Paul got bit by the
- 12:55Speaker 2: what is it copy bearro whatever whatever it is called.
- 12:58Speaker 2: They have a kangaroo too, do Yeah.
- 13:01Speaker 3: Where's this friend at.
- 13:03Speaker 2: It's in h Lucas, some little town called Lucas, right
- 13:06Speaker 2: next to Wiley. Yeah. I know. Yeah.
- 13:08Speaker 6: They have a copy bear or whatever, poppy bear and
- 13:11Speaker 6: a kangaroo.
- 13:12Speaker 2: They're from Australia originally poppy bear what's it called. I
- 13:17Speaker 2: don't know what you're talking about. One of them bit
- 13:19Speaker 2: my son, PoCA.
- 13:20Speaker 5: You didn't know what that was the first time you
- 13:22Speaker 5: told us about that when it happened. I still don't
- 13:24Speaker 5: know what that is.
- 13:24Speaker 2: It's a giant Billy knows.
- 13:26Speaker 3: It's a rodent looking thing. They're very terrifying.
- 13:29Speaker 2: I do know that there's a guy in Prosper, like
- 13:31Speaker 2: right off the highway that has a camel and like
- 13:35Speaker 2: an ostriche really and a giraffe. Yeah. I don't know
- 13:40Speaker 2: what's going on over there. Who knows what's going on
- 13:42Speaker 2: in Prosper, but they had there's a guy that definitely
- 13:45Speaker 2: has a camel.
- 13:46Speaker 3: What right off what is it three eighty Yeah, right
- 13:49Speaker 3: off three eighty or so.
- 13:50Speaker 2: I don't know one of those highways either way, it's yeah,
- 13:54Speaker 2: I know, I kind of want one.
- 13:56Speaker 3: Wouldn't be cool to have a kangaroo.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Just driving through hanging over the well. I want a
- 14:02Speaker 2: kangaroo that's attack trained. No, yeah, I'm want a security kangaroo.
- 14:08Speaker 2: So if Poo like gives me problems, I'll just be like, hey,
- 14:11Speaker 2: go punching. The idea of poo getting beat up by
- 14:15Speaker 2: a kangaroo is just that just sounds funny. Okay, this
- 14:19Speaker 2: other story man in serious legal trouble. This is a
- 14:22Speaker 2: wild story. So this guy's in legal trouble because what
- 14:24Speaker 2: he did is he created a bunch of fake bands
- 14:27Speaker 2: with AI. So fake music, fake bands. Well, I mean
- 14:31Speaker 2: it's not fake music. It's just created by AI. Some
- 14:33Speaker 2: would say it's fake, but either way, he wrote it
- 14:35Speaker 2: and then he had AI sing it or whatever, created
- 14:38Speaker 2: a whole thing with it, then put it on all
- 14:42Speaker 2: the streaming platforms. Then he created a bot program that
- 14:46Speaker 2: would listen to it over and over and over over
- 14:48Speaker 2: and over and over again, and then he would get
- 14:50Speaker 2: money from the streams.
- 14:51Speaker 3: So he made so much money and he's in trouble.
- 14:55Speaker 5: Now.
- 14:55Speaker 3: I might get arrested and all this, but I'm like,
- 14:58Speaker 3: how is it now?
- 14:58Speaker 2: I know it's illegal, guess because you can't have bots.
- 15:02Speaker 3: That's got to be some gray area in the law.
- 15:04Speaker 5: Right, you're smart enough to do that, but you're also
- 15:06Speaker 5: cheating the system.
- 15:07Speaker 2: You're cheating the system because it's not real listens, it's
- 15:10Speaker 2: not real streams. But people do that all.
- 15:12Speaker 5: The time, Yeah, with all sorts of stuff.
- 15:14Speaker 3: So yeah, they have like bot farms or whatever.
- 15:16Speaker 2: You could pay people to listen to your stuff and
- 15:19Speaker 2: pump up the stream numbers and then get paid for it.
- 15:22Speaker 5: That's wild.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Isn't that crazy?
- 15:23Speaker 5: Yeah, it's like buying all the lottery tickets or whatever,
- 15:26Speaker 5: all the combinations you're sure to win.
- 15:28Speaker 3: Yeah, but I mean, I guess that's not illegal.
- 15:30Speaker 5: It's more legal, I would think, yeah, because if.
- 15:32Speaker 3: I'm buying them, I'm buying them.
- 15:33Speaker 2: If I buy the whole role of loto tickets, yeah,
- 15:36Speaker 2: I mean, I guess I'm bound to win something.
- 15:37Speaker 5: Right or ooh yeah, I think.
- 15:40Speaker 3: If someone did that, did they really?
- 15:42Speaker 5: Yeah, they spent millions of dollars.
- 15:44Speaker 2: If they spent like ten million dollars or a million
- 15:46Speaker 2: dollars to win something.
- 15:48Speaker 5: Yeah, interesting, We've got to be smarter about life.
- 15:50Speaker 2: Guys. If anybody wants to lend me one million dollars.
- 15:55Speaker 5: To promise you'll feel better, Welcome to the dirty Little Secret.
- 15:59Speaker 2: Bring on those. It's mixed one on two point nine
- 16:01Speaker 2: A bailly, a kid can slow Pez producer poo. Hopefully
- 16:04Speaker 2: having a good Friday. So far, it's chili outside. It's
- 16:07Speaker 2: like what twenty nine, but it feels like twenty two outs,
- 16:09Speaker 2: so I know, and this weekend's gonna be cold. Oh
- 16:12Speaker 2: I'm over. I want summer. I will never complain about
- 16:14Speaker 2: the heat again. I probably will, but either way. Ye,
- 16:16Speaker 2: all right, if you get a secret eight three three
- 16:18Speaker 2: seven eight seven one o two nine, I don't care
- 16:20Speaker 2: what kind of secret is?
- 16:21Speaker 3: Big secret, little secret? Serious, silly? How are you good?
- 16:25Speaker 5: How are you?
- 16:26Speaker 2: I've told them everybody on the show, they're not prepared
- 16:29Speaker 2: for this secret. You are not prepared for this dirty
- 16:31Speaker 2: little secret. I know, no, but this one you're gonna take. No.
- 16:35Speaker 2: This is like, Wow, you have a secret that only
- 16:40Speaker 2: not many people know about.
- 16:41Speaker 5: Yeah, only my best friend knows about this.
- 16:44Speaker 3: Okay, let's let's go.
- 16:46Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 16:46Speaker 7: So I didn't want to tell anybody because I didn't
- 16:48Speaker 7: want to be judged. And it's it's like really silly
- 16:50Speaker 7: and it really even makes me laugh.
- 16:53Speaker 5: Okay.
- 16:53Speaker 8: So I love Chili's skillet case though, like you have
- 16:59Speaker 8: no it. So I found out that Chilis was getting
- 17:10Speaker 8: rid of it, and I panicked, I full on, like
- 17:12Speaker 8: end of.
- 17:13Speaker 5: The world panics. What do you mean?
- 17:16Speaker 7: Well, I didn't order it like one last time. I
- 17:20Speaker 7: went to multiple locations on different nights just to eat
- 17:25Speaker 7: it different chili.
- 17:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:28Speaker 5: Like I ordered it there to eat it and then
- 17:31Speaker 5: extra to take home and freeze. Like, so you stockpiled
- 17:42Speaker 5: it just for hard times?
- 17:45Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean, apparently I stockpile restaurant Caso.
- 17:50Speaker 2: You stockpiled Chili Skilly Caso because you liked it that
- 17:54Speaker 2: much in Panics when they was going away.
- 17:58Speaker 3: Are you single? That's a lope right now.
- 18:02Speaker 5: That's kind of amazing. I am seeing somebody, but.
- 18:06Speaker 3: We'll dump him immediately. That's type of right. That is incredible.
- 18:10Speaker 2: That is the funniest thing I've heard in a long time,
- 18:13Speaker 2: because I mean I panicked to a little bit because
- 18:16Speaker 2: I like it, but I didn't stockpile it. So so
- 18:19Speaker 2: you haven't told anybody this because it's embarrassing.
- 18:23Speaker 8: Right, And like two months later they put it back
- 18:26Speaker 8: on the menu, like like boom caseoes back.
- 18:31Speaker 5: Oh my gosh, you almost had the only Super Bowl
- 18:34Speaker 5: party with Yeah, they brought it back. Oh my gosh,
- 18:38Speaker 5: I would have so much of it.
- 18:39Speaker 2: I'm just thinking about the planning that went behind this.
- 18:41Speaker 2: You're like, well, I can go to the Chili's here,
- 18:43Speaker 2: then I'll go to this chilis to the downtown. Let's
- 18:46Speaker 2: make sure I have enough for space in my freezer,
- 18:49Speaker 2: and then you give it.
- 18:50Speaker 7: I had to portion out the space in my freezer
- 18:52Speaker 7: like a maniac.
- 18:53Speaker 3: Do you still have some I have.
- 18:54Speaker 1: A little left.
- 18:55Speaker 3: Yeah, good for you.
- 18:57Speaker 2: The Chilis needs to know this, right, Chili needs to
- 19:00Speaker 2: know who you are, so they can you deserve free
- 19:03Speaker 2: skillet caso for at least like two months.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Oh that'd be awesome.
- 19:07Speaker 2: What a fantastic, dirty little secret.
- 19:10Speaker 3: I needed that.
- 19:11Speaker 2: And now I'm absolutely hungry and I might just go
- 19:13Speaker 2: to Chili's right now. Hey, thank you so much. We
- 19:16Speaker 2: appreciate that. That's hysterical.
- 19:18Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 19:18Speaker 2: Talk about some big back energy.
- 19:22Speaker 5: Wow.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Okay, if one food was going away and you had
- 19:26Speaker 2: to hoard it to just save some what is that
- 19:29Speaker 2: one food that you would do, Candice, Yeah, y'all.
- 19:31Speaker 5: Are gonna laugh. And it's hot honey hummus. This hot
- 19:35Speaker 5: honey hummus. I'm on the hot honey train. I am
- 19:38Speaker 5: driving the train.
- 19:39Speaker 3: I am on the hot honey train.
- 19:41Speaker 5: Anything hot honey, I'm here for it.
- 19:43Speaker 2: Hot honey hummus.
- 19:44Speaker 5: Yeah, that's hot honey crackers. These nuts crackers, I just
- 19:48Speaker 5: combine them.
- 19:49Speaker 3: The hot honey crackers are good.
- 19:50Speaker 2: That you have.
- 19:51Speaker 5: Oh yeah, I'm obsessed with them.
- 19:52Speaker 3: Hot honey hummus does not sound good.
- 19:55Speaker 5: No, I promise you it's good. It's got the hot
- 19:57Speaker 5: honey and the chili flame.
- 19:58Speaker 3: You would do like beans or something.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Yeah, give me those triple beans, the cans beans. Okay,
- 20:04Speaker 2: hot in the humus pool one food if you had
- 20:07Speaker 2: to hoard it because it was going away, what would
- 20:09Speaker 2: it be? The Bob's the Bob from Matt's l Rancho.
- 20:12Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that case so goes.
- 20:14Speaker 3: Where is that in Garland?
- 20:16Speaker 2: No it's an Allen, No it's not. Yeah, they closed
- 20:20Speaker 2: the one in Garland the movie did Yeah, okay, yeah,
- 20:22Speaker 2: you know, yes, it's a Mexican restaurant. But there that
- 20:27Speaker 2: dip dip did we all dip Allan And we just
- 20:32Speaker 2: have to hoard cheese cave?
- 20:36Speaker 3: Yeah, I just need it.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Yes, give me a block of like a huge block
- 20:39Speaker 2: the size of pool of cheddar cheese.
- 20:43Speaker 3: And I would just nibble its. Top stories on the
- 20:48Speaker 3: Tents with Billy the Kid in the Morning.
- 20:50Speaker 5: Only on the New Mix one two point nine.
- 20:53Speaker 3: It's Friday, Cannie Slow Pez everything.
- 20:55Speaker 2: We need to know what's up. Well.
- 20:56Speaker 5: Thousands of food products have been recalled due to the
- 20:58Speaker 5: presence of rodent and bird waste. Nearly two thousand items
- 21:03Speaker 5: from brands like Cheerios, Skittles, and Pringles are part of
- 21:06Speaker 5: this recall. Gold Star Distribution, Inc. Recalled everything from food items,
- 21:11Speaker 5: pet foods, beauty and pharmacy products. Now, none of the
- 21:14Speaker 5: affected products were directly distributed to stores in Texas, Indiana, Minnesota,
- 21:20Speaker 5: and North Dakota at the center of this, but they're
- 21:22Speaker 5: saying this facility was operating under unsanitary conditions. Obviously, if
- 21:27Speaker 5: you know you're finding stuff like bird droppings where medical
- 21:30Speaker 5: devices and food or health.
- 21:32Speaker 3: Or rodent stuff.
- 21:33Speaker 2: Oh yeah, but you know there's a certain amount of
- 21:35Speaker 2: that that's allowed in food. What yeah, yeah, wait what
- 21:39Speaker 2: I've read this and it just grows me out. There's
- 21:40Speaker 2: a certain amount that the FDA says is okay. So yeah,
- 21:44Speaker 2: once you cross that threshold, and it's not okay. And
- 21:47Speaker 2: the reason I know that is because some guy he's
- 21:50Speaker 2: allergic to cockroaches, okay, but some he's drank coffee, certain
- 21:56Speaker 2: coffee he's allergic to huh because there's cockroach what.
- 22:03Speaker 3: Come on, I'm serious, I read it.
- 22:05Speaker 2: It's got to be real if I read it online,
- 22:08Speaker 2: for sure.
- 22:09Speaker 3: So that's all I know.
- 22:11Speaker 5: They're saying the affected items should be destroyed immediately, not returned,
- 22:14Speaker 5: So they absolutely do not want people shipping these products
- 22:17Speaker 5: back to them. But Yeah. If you have any products
- 22:20Speaker 5: that you think maybe you got in another state, charge up, yeah,
- 22:23Speaker 5: check them in.
- 22:23Speaker 3: So, pigeon poop cheerios, new news.
- 22:27Speaker 2: Let me ask you something, Pooh, I'm a serious no, Okay,
- 22:30Speaker 2: would you rather eat pigeon poop cheerios or candice is Chili?
- 22:38Speaker 5: I'll be over here, guys. Jac Penny is getting ready
- 22:46Speaker 5: to let you swap jewelry from your ex for new diamonds.
- 22:50Speaker 5: Their one day event, called the jcpenny x Change, will
- 22:54Speaker 5: happen on Valentine's Day, February fourteenth. Participating stores will give
- 22:58Speaker 5: eligible customers a half carrot lab grown diamond necklace and
- 23:02Speaker 5: limited quantities in exchange for jewelry from an X and
- 23:07Speaker 5: then all of this jewelry that gets exchange will be
- 23:09Speaker 5: donated to the nonprofit Good three point sixty. So that's
- 23:12Speaker 5: kind of fun.
- 23:13Speaker 2: Okay, So you could take something your ex gave you,
- 23:15Speaker 2: or something maybe that you got back from your ex.
- 23:18Speaker 5: Sure maybe, I mean, I don't know how they're going
- 23:20Speaker 5: to verify that. Just take your old jewelry if you
- 23:22Speaker 5: want to trade it up. Yeah, that's just my take.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Why not?
- 23:24Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 23:25Speaker 2: But yeah, get a lab grown diamond. Well, I don't
- 23:27Speaker 2: even know the difference between a lab grown.
- 23:28Speaker 5: It's hard to tell, what I mean. They're nice.
- 23:30Speaker 3: Yeah, whatever works, Yeah, and it's free, so good.
- 23:34Speaker 5: Yeah, there you go. A new report guy says that
- 23:36Speaker 5: Taylor Swift has officially mailed out her wedding invitations. They
- 23:40Speaker 5: do include a save the date and general location of
- 23:43Speaker 5: the ceremony. A source is saying, there's also, you know,
- 23:46Speaker 5: a non disclosure agreement that guests will have to sign
- 23:49Speaker 5: before Taylor and Travis give them the exact details. You know.
- 23:53Speaker 5: We think her wedding is happening this summer, but watch
- 23:56Speaker 5: out for a lot of announcements over the next week
- 23:59Speaker 5: that people maybe up and got married because some of
- 24:01Speaker 5: the in demand dates for weddings next week two to
- 24:05Speaker 5: twenty six. That's going to be a big one on Monday, yeah,
- 24:09Speaker 5: and then two six, twenty six.
- 24:12Speaker 3: This matter the date, it's people really look at that.
- 24:15Speaker 5: Oh yeah for sure. Oh yeah, and then two twenty six,
- 24:18Speaker 5: twenty six, So February is gonna have a lot of weddings.
- 24:21Speaker 2: I think, do people really want to get married around
- 24:23Speaker 2: Valentine's Day?
- 24:23Speaker 5: Well, I think they just want the numbers, you know, numerology,
- 24:26Speaker 5: or they just want like an easy way to remember
- 24:28Speaker 5: it or say it or to say they did it.
- 24:31Speaker 5: You know.
- 24:31Speaker 2: Yeah, well, all right, good for them. Love must be nice,
- 24:34Speaker 2: you know, must be nice to be in love. I'll
- 24:36Speaker 2: be right over here, you know what. I guess that
- 24:38Speaker 2: is one good thing about being single. Like Valentine's Day
- 24:41Speaker 2: coming up, zero pressure. Yeah, yeah, I don't have to
- 24:43Speaker 2: worry about it. Don't care.
- 24:44Speaker 3: We just I don't care. Yeah, I'm going to be
- 24:46Speaker 3: doing the same thing. Nothing.
- 24:48Speaker 5: I don't know. Maybe you'll maybe I'll get a secret
- 24:50Speaker 5: of my or maybe you'll end up with cookies or something.
- 24:52Speaker 3: Again, I don't want.
- 24:55Speaker 5: I want you to get something from somebody.
- 24:57Speaker 3: Lab grown diamond.
- 25:00Speaker 5: There you go, canoes. Those are your Texas top stories.
- 25:03Speaker 2: All right, he's going for Candace Court. It gets settled
- 25:09Speaker 2: here with Billy the Kid in the morning. All rise
- 25:11Speaker 2: for the Honorable Judge Candaslopez on Mix one or two
- 25:14Speaker 2: point nine and it's Bailey the Kid. Candas is here, producer,
- 25:16Speaker 2: who's here. We're the bailiffs. We're just the muscle here
- 25:19Speaker 2: at the court. Candas is the brains and she's the
- 25:21Speaker 2: one that makes the decisions around here, which is pretty
- 25:24Speaker 2: much the same behind the scenes too at candas on air.
- 25:27Speaker 2: If you've got a problem, you can always reach out
- 25:29Speaker 2: to her. She can help you solve it. Here you go.
- 25:30Speaker 2: This is a good one too. I think it's a
- 25:32Speaker 2: little tip between two friends. About six months ago, my
- 25:36Speaker 2: car broke down and it was going to cost about
- 25:38Speaker 2: a thousand dollars to get it fixed. I didn't have
- 25:41Speaker 2: the money and was prepared to just junk it, but
- 25:43Speaker 2: a friend stepped in and insisted that he be allowed
- 25:46Speaker 2: to take care of it and help me out. While
- 25:48Speaker 2: I was grateful, I also made it very clear I
- 25:50Speaker 2: wasn't asking for help necessarily. He went ahead and took
- 25:53Speaker 2: care of it, and the car has been fine ever since.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Our friendship, however, has not. Over the last month, he's
- 26:00Speaker 2: been on me pretty hard about needing that money back,
- 26:03Speaker 2: and it's money I just simply don't have. Now he's
- 26:06Speaker 2: insinuating that I stole the money from him. I didn't
- 26:11Speaker 2: say I would pay him back, but I didn't say
- 26:14Speaker 2: I wouldn't. Why should I have to pay him back
- 26:17Speaker 2: when I thought he was just being nice. Should someone
- 26:21Speaker 2: be obligated to pay someone back for a financial favor
- 26:25Speaker 2: they never even asked for? Oh?
- 26:28Speaker 3: Okay, this is a really good one.
- 26:30Speaker 2: Yeah. You know what's weird too, is I want to
- 26:33Speaker 2: know more about the person that wrote in, but I
- 26:35Speaker 2: don't because it looks like because I think it's important
- 26:39Speaker 2: to the dynamic. Yeah, because what if this is a woman,
- 26:44Speaker 2: I can't tell it either doesn't say if it's a
- 26:47Speaker 2: man or a woman. I do think that makes a
- 26:49Speaker 2: difference though, Okay, because as if it's two bros, then
- 26:53Speaker 2: it's like whatever. I feel like this is a woman
- 26:55Speaker 2: writing ink.
- 26:57Speaker 3: And this guy had a motive my theory.
- 27:01Speaker 2: Yeah, he's swooped in trying to be super Man, trying
- 27:03Speaker 2: to be a hero because he has some feelings for
- 27:06Speaker 2: this person. Oh and they don't develop. And he's like,
- 27:09Speaker 2: oh really, well cool, I give you a thousand dollars
- 27:11Speaker 2: for your car?
- 27:12Speaker 3: What's up?
- 27:13Speaker 5: Oh but that might be the case.
- 27:15Speaker 2: It's still the same question. He or she didn't ask
- 27:19Speaker 2: for the help.
- 27:20Speaker 3: Right now.
- 27:21Speaker 2: This guy's like, well, I mean I kind of feel
- 27:23Speaker 2: like I deserve to get paid back.
- 27:25Speaker 5: Yeah, but you're insisting like that I be able to
- 27:28Speaker 5: help you.
- 27:29Speaker 9: You know.
- 27:29Speaker 5: That's kind of like I don't know that you're making
- 27:32Speaker 5: the decision. Here it says insisted that they allowed me
- 27:36Speaker 5: to help, Like, let me help you. How far is
- 27:40Speaker 5: that going before? It's not nice. You know, it's like
- 27:42Speaker 5: I'm inserting myself into your situation forcing you to let
- 27:45Speaker 5: me help you.
- 27:46Speaker 2: Well, I think it's the person trying to be nice. Yeah,
- 27:48Speaker 2: I think it's going. I know you don't want to
- 27:50Speaker 2: take this money, but here, listen, you need it. Take it,
- 27:53Speaker 2: get your car fixed, figure it out. But you cannot.
- 27:57Speaker 2: To me, you cannot expect the money back unless you
- 28:01Speaker 2: make it clear.
- 28:02Speaker 3: Yes, that this is something that is being borrowed.
- 28:05Speaker 5: It's not fair to insist that it was stolen. You
- 28:08Speaker 5: didn't steal the money.
- 28:09Speaker 3: It's definitely not stolen.
- 28:10Speaker 5: Yeah, that's awful.
- 28:12Speaker 2: That leads me to believe that there's more to it
- 28:14Speaker 2: to me than just this. But I mean, if you
- 28:17Speaker 2: don't ask for it back, then to me, this is
- 28:19Speaker 2: just a gift.
- 28:20Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, you have to discuss being repaid when
- 28:24Speaker 5: you loan the money or give the money Pooh.
- 28:26Speaker 2: If Pooh breaks down on the side of the road
- 28:28Speaker 2: and I'm like, man, here, you need to get your
- 28:29Speaker 2: car fixed.
- 28:30Speaker 3: Here's a thousand. I know he's not paying.
- 28:33Speaker 5: Me back, so you're saying, no, your friend's better.
- 28:36Speaker 2: Right, i'll make an attempt. No, I'll even blaming you
- 28:42Speaker 2: because guess what, unless I said it. Listen, if I'm
- 28:45Speaker 2: lending someone a thousand dollars or if I'm giving it
- 28:48Speaker 2: to him, it's something I expect back. I'm framing it like, Hey,
- 28:52Speaker 2: I'll lend you a thousand dollars, pay me back when
- 28:54Speaker 2: you can. Yes?
- 28:55Speaker 5: Who would?
- 28:56Speaker 2: Yeah? When you set it up like that, Yeah, you
- 28:58Speaker 2: have to pay them. Then if you take that money,
- 29:01Speaker 2: you're obligated to pay me back. Would I get the money?
- 29:03Speaker 2: Probably not.
- 29:04Speaker 3: The point is I made it clear, then I expect the.
- 29:07Speaker 5: Money back, right, I mean you can't just casually give
- 29:09Speaker 5: someone a thousand dollars and not say anything about it.
- 29:12Speaker 2: I mean, would you assume in this situation that somebody
- 29:14Speaker 2: expects the money back if they just give it you?
- 29:16Speaker 3: Would you assume that.
- 29:17Speaker 5: I always assume someone wants the money back, like I
- 29:21Speaker 5: just to be fair, like I would always offer to
- 29:23Speaker 5: pay back like, but that's just me. Most people aren't
- 29:26Speaker 5: like that. But this, if it was clear that this
- 29:28Speaker 5: person didn't have the money and wasn't going to have
- 29:30Speaker 5: the money, then you should you should just expect that
- 29:32Speaker 5: they're not going to pay you back.
- 29:34Speaker 3: I still have people that owe me money now that
- 29:35Speaker 3: I'm thinking about it.
- 29:36Speaker 2: I'm thinking about it right now. Yeah, I and I
- 29:39Speaker 2: said it, Yeah, you could pay me back whenever.
- 29:41Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 29:41Speaker 3: Well, maybe I should have been more clear about whenever.
- 29:44Speaker 5: No, I'm with you, it's serious.
- 29:46Speaker 2: Wait a minute, this pooh money, I don't think so,
- 29:50Speaker 2: yeah you do. I usually pay my debts and labor.
- 29:54Speaker 2: It would you? But I know, like, hey, I need
- 29:59Speaker 2: to Yeah that's true it.
- 30:02Speaker 5: Yeah, pers say you know I don't have the money,
- 30:05Speaker 5: but can I help you with anything?
- 30:09Speaker 3: Can I rub your feet? Can I do something?
- 30:12Speaker 5: Sounds like this person might accept that.
- 30:14Speaker 3: I see, but poo, this is what he'll do.
- 30:15Speaker 2: Pool will borrow money and then be like, oh, man,
- 30:18Speaker 2: you need your garage cleaned or something. So then he'll
- 30:21Speaker 2: come over clean my garage and then he'll take stuff
- 30:24Speaker 2: that I don't want. So somehow, some way, he still
- 30:27Speaker 2: comes out on top the ducks.
- 30:29Speaker 5: I could sell that stuff and then pay.
- 30:32Speaker 2: He came over the other day and he's like, man,
- 30:34Speaker 2: he was cleaning my garage, and he because you got
- 30:35Speaker 2: a whole bag of shoes that I don't I don't
- 30:38Speaker 2: think you wear yeah, And I was like no, yeah,
- 30:40Speaker 2: I forgot about those. I just I need to take
- 30:41Speaker 2: him into the house and figure out what to.
- 30:43Speaker 3: Do with them.
- 30:43Speaker 2: He came back over the next day with a big
- 30:47Speaker 2: old bag and said, what pairs do you want? Kid?
- 30:50Speaker 6: As I keep seeing the same sect in the corner,
- 30:53Speaker 6: I'm like, okay, if.
- 30:54Speaker 2: He don't go through it, I'm going through it. And
- 30:56Speaker 2: guess what that was like, fifteen pairs of shoes. I
- 30:58Speaker 2: took out one pair and he took the rest, well,
- 31:01Speaker 2: good stuff that weren't even his size. I swear Poho's
- 31:04Speaker 2: got a whole eBay on the side. I'm he does,
- 31:08Speaker 2: and I just don't know about it. But he has
- 31:10Speaker 2: made He's probably a millionaire who's sitting over there right now,
- 31:15Speaker 2: probably a millionaire off of just stuff he's sold of
- 31:19Speaker 2: mine over the past twenty five years.
- 31:21Speaker 5: Good for you.
- 31:22Speaker 2: I'm not even hating, Okay, in this decision, Candice, the
- 31:26Speaker 2: verdict is in. This is a tough case.
- 31:27Speaker 5: It is a tough case. But look, I think this
- 31:29Speaker 5: friend is guilty of being a no take back terry. Oh,
- 31:33Speaker 5: your guest all and asked me to pay back when
- 31:36Speaker 5: we didn't discuss this in the beginning. You knew I
- 31:37Speaker 5: didn't have the money not a no take back terry.
- 31:40Speaker 2: Yeah, you can't.
- 31:42Speaker 5: Just give it to me and then want it back
- 31:44Speaker 5: and we haven't.
- 31:45Speaker 2: Talked about it, so the legal precedent says there's no expectation.
- 31:48Speaker 3: Of payment exactly.
- 31:50Speaker 5: This has to be discussed at the time that the
- 31:51Speaker 5: funds were exchanged.
- 31:53Speaker 2: What okay, Oh you just got very serious. She put
- 31:57Speaker 2: her gabble in the air and everything. Yeah, he is
- 32:00Speaker 2: guilty of being a terry. It's mixed one on two
- 32:04Speaker 2: point nine and Bailly the Kid Candice Loompez is here,
- 32:06Speaker 2: producer who was here? I saw this when we were
- 32:08Speaker 2: iced in and I don't know why. It just cracked
- 32:10Speaker 2: me up. Somebody online just went and asked a question.
- 32:13Speaker 2: They like, what is a middle class luxury from your
- 32:16Speaker 2: childhood that is now considered just a basic necessity? Like
- 32:21Speaker 2: what back in the day did you think, like, whoa,
- 32:24Speaker 2: that is fancy and now it's just super common.
- 32:27Speaker 3: Everybody has it. You don't even think twice about it.
- 32:29Speaker 2: Because I know one thing right off the bat that
- 32:32Speaker 2: I thought the neighbors were absolutely rich for having. I
- 32:35Speaker 2: thought to myself, Wow, I can't believe they have one
- 32:39Speaker 2: of these, uh huh A waterbed.
- 32:42Speaker 5: Oh yeah, what very fancy.
- 32:49Speaker 2: Oh waterbed?
- 32:50Speaker 3: Yeah, like what is that?
- 32:52Speaker 5: Next level?
- 32:53Speaker 2: Like that?
- 32:54Speaker 3: Now, to think about a waterbed, it's just kind of
- 32:56Speaker 3: like ew.
- 32:56Speaker 5: They weren't even really that comfortable.
- 32:58Speaker 3: I don't even know if I love you? What You
- 33:01Speaker 3: have one?
- 33:02Speaker 1: Now?
- 33:02Speaker 2: No? I have I have one.
- 33:05Speaker 6: You had water my cousin when he went off into
- 33:07Speaker 6: the Air Force, he let me have his old wood and.
- 33:09Speaker 2: I was like, oh, I like this, yeah real, I
- 33:13Speaker 2: just came freshman year.
- 33:16Speaker 5: You had one. I know I slept on one once.
- 33:18Speaker 5: I don't know if it was my cousin's house or
- 33:20Speaker 5: something like that.
- 33:21Speaker 2: I think my friend Sally had one that we all tried. Yeah,
- 33:25Speaker 2: Sal had one. I think it is basement and I
- 33:28Speaker 2: don't know if I ever slept that so great that
- 33:33Speaker 2: when I come to see my.
- 33:34Speaker 3: Water man in my basement, in my.
- 33:36Speaker 2: Basement, like imagine showing up to a guy's house it's
- 33:40Speaker 2: your first time over there, and he's like, yeah, just
- 33:42Speaker 2: I got a waterbed, and you're like, no, weird, Okay,
- 33:46Speaker 2: I'm gonna go now.
- 33:48Speaker 5: Yeah, you know what I always wanted? What a cordless
- 33:51Speaker 5: phone came out? Yeah, and you would pull the antenna
- 33:55Speaker 5: up and just walk around and now.
- 33:57Speaker 2: These kids don't get it, but just imagine, like back
- 33:59Speaker 2: in the day, we would go all over the house
- 34:00Speaker 2: with the cord that was about twenty eight feet long. Yeah,
- 34:03Speaker 2: we go everywhere.
- 34:04Speaker 5: Hid in the closet, kitchen, carry the whole phone with you.
- 34:08Speaker 2: Yeah, and somebody would pick up the other line if
- 34:10Speaker 2: you were on it because they needed to use it.
- 34:13Speaker 2: That's a concept. The kid doesn't even realize it could happen, right,
- 34:16Speaker 2: but yeah, we could pick up the line and be
- 34:18Speaker 2: real quiet and listen to your whole conversation. Yeah.
- 34:21Speaker 3: Wow.
- 34:22Speaker 5: Eventually they added like where you could add a line
- 34:24Speaker 5: to your thing, and it was only like five bucks
- 34:26Speaker 5: a month or something, really silly. So my brother had
- 34:29Speaker 5: a phone number in his room and I had a
- 34:30Speaker 5: phone number in my room. Super fancy that that was
- 34:34Speaker 5: a middle class luxury.
- 34:35Speaker 2: I guess what are some other middle class luxuries. Now
- 34:38Speaker 2: here's one that's on the list that I didn't even
- 34:39Speaker 2: think about, but it's so true. A car with ac Yeah.
- 34:44Speaker 2: Back in the day, Yeah, a lot of cars didn't
- 34:46Speaker 2: have a windows like him. They didn't have a windows down.
- 34:54Speaker 2: He's a little bit older. Yeah, did they even have cars? Okay,
- 34:59Speaker 2: I just wasn't on percent. Sure, I wasn't positive. Yeah,
- 35:03Speaker 2: you had to roll the windows down. Yeah, seventy miles
- 35:05Speaker 2: an hour. I'm thirty five. There's your What about this one?
- 35:09Speaker 2: A middle class luxury that's basically a necessity. Now, Oh
- 35:13Speaker 2: this was fancy too, This was real fancy. If you
- 35:16Speaker 2: had a dishwasher.
- 35:17Speaker 5: Oh yeah, not every.
- 35:19Speaker 3: House back and then they had a dishwasher.
- 35:21Speaker 5: Yeah, they just didn't see the drying rack just out there. Yeah,
- 35:24Speaker 5: everything you got was out on the counter.
- 35:26Speaker 2: Wash them my hand, Yeah you got it.
- 35:31Speaker 3: This first set. I remember thinking I never live in
- 35:33Speaker 3: a home with a dishwasher.
- 35:37Speaker 2: Oh, here's a good one. A middle class luxury. Physical encyclopedias, Oh.
- 35:44Speaker 5: Yeah, Encyclopedia Britannica or whatever.
- 35:46Speaker 2: They wouldn't come. They would come door to door and
- 35:49Speaker 2: try to sell you them. Yeah, and I remember once
- 35:51Speaker 2: my grandma bought a set, and I thought, oh, I'll
- 35:54Speaker 2: never even I don't even know if I need to
- 35:56Speaker 2: go to school anymore.
- 35:56Speaker 5: Right, it's all in there.
- 35:58Speaker 2: I have everything I need. Now we have the Internet, which, wow,
- 36:03Speaker 2: we had encyclopedias we look through. Yeah, that's phone books.
- 36:10Speaker 2: That wasn't a luxury. I think everybody had those, they
- 36:12Speaker 2: would just drop them off. Back in the day.
- 36:15Speaker 3: This person said flying was a middle class luxury.
- 36:17Speaker 5: Yeah, I guess so.
- 36:18Speaker 3: I never flew when I was a kid.
- 36:20Speaker 5: I didn't fly until I think I was middle school.
- 36:22Speaker 2: Yeah I did. Yeah, middle school. I go to Chicago
- 36:26Speaker 2: all the time. You were rich, my uncle. I didn't
- 36:29Speaker 2: fly until I was an adult. Never flew anywhere. Never.
- 36:33Speaker 3: We drove everywhere you want to go to Florida.
- 36:36Speaker 5: Driving other than with my grandparents.
- 36:40Speaker 2: Oh this was This person said this was fancy back
- 36:42Speaker 2: in my day. A fridge that makes its own ice
- 36:45Speaker 2: and water. Oh yeah, falling.
- 36:50Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 36:50Speaker 2: This person said it was fancy back in the day
- 36:52Speaker 2: to have a microwave.
- 36:53Speaker 5: Oh so sure or not?
- 36:55Speaker 2: That was a that was a first class kind of luxury.
- 36:58Speaker 2: I mean, just having any kind of heck in your
- 37:00Speaker 2: house back in the day was a.
- 37:01Speaker 5: Big deal, right, anything that saved you time.
- 37:03Speaker 2: If you had like a computer back in the day.
- 37:05Speaker 2: Oh yeah, remember that, right, That was I didn't have
- 37:09Speaker 2: online or AOL online.
- 37:11Speaker 5: Yeah, I didn't until I think my junior senior year
- 37:14Speaker 5: of high school. Because I had this free hour CD
- 37:16Speaker 5: you know that came inside. I think I would stick
- 37:18Speaker 5: it. It would come into mail, like, Yes, sixty hours of
- 37:21Speaker 5: AOL is here?
- 37:22Speaker 3: Do you remember your AOL name?
- 37:24Speaker 2: Uh?
- 37:24Speaker 5: Yeah, I had a few of them. Topic, Yeah, can
- 37:27Speaker 5: this be true? Because it sounded like a lyric from
- 37:31Speaker 5: an instinct song. It was, yeah, God must have spent
- 37:34Speaker 5: a little more time on you. Yeah was I? Can
- 37:35Speaker 5: this be for you?
- 37:37Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 37:37Speaker 5: Tell me to Can this be true?
- 37:40Speaker 3: You're saying this with your out loud voice.
- 37:41Speaker 5: I know.
- 37:44Speaker 2: Here's today's hot take, can take it the day on
- 37:46Speaker 2: Mixed one or two point nine. It's Bailly a kid
- 37:48Speaker 2: Cannas Lopez producer poop, all right, hot take, Candis are
- 37:51Speaker 2: you ready for this one?
- 37:52Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 37:52Speaker 2: Pooh, new trend alert ahead?
- 37:56Speaker 3: Are you ready for divorce rings?
- 38:00Speaker 5: Oh?
- 38:02Speaker 2: Yes, why not? I guess not an engagement ring, not
- 38:06Speaker 2: a wedding ring. These are divorce rings. And I guess
- 38:09Speaker 2: it's what's happening and people are starting to wear. And
- 38:12Speaker 2: I had Cannie pull up some of this stuff because
- 38:14Speaker 2: I think this is just employed by the jewelry makers
- 38:17Speaker 2: to be like, let's get some more money out of
- 38:20Speaker 2: these people. I don't know, but yeah, divorce rings are
- 38:23Speaker 2: something that people are starting to wear. Not men. Looks
- 38:26Speaker 2: like just women are wearing these divorce rings. They're wearing
- 38:28Speaker 2: them on their right hand, and what is it like
- 38:31Speaker 2: diamonds from their wedding ring.
- 38:32Speaker 5: Some of them, Yeah, are repurpose, like, you know, take
- 38:36Speaker 5: the diamond out of your wedding jewelry and create a
- 38:39Speaker 5: new design with it. I'm not mad at that. I
- 38:42Speaker 5: don't know why I would want the exact same like
- 38:45Speaker 5: i'd just be have a new one.
- 38:46Speaker 3: Yeah, do you want the same diamonds?
- 38:48Speaker 5: I mean, I don't think so, but yeah, just.
- 38:52Speaker 2: I don't know. And then it depends on also too.
- 38:53Speaker 2: They're saying, what what finger you wear it on? It
- 38:58Speaker 2: means something different each finger.
- 39:00Speaker 5: Yeah, so it's typically worn on the right hand, of course,
- 39:04Speaker 5: but some choices are right hand ring finger, which means
- 39:08Speaker 5: new beginnings. Some women are even putting it on the
- 39:10Speaker 5: middle finger to similarize strength or the index finger for empowerment.
- 39:16Speaker 2: Okay, so middle finger is strength, Yeah, ring fingers new beginnings.
- 39:21Speaker 5: The middle finger makes sense.
- 39:22Speaker 3: The middle finger makes total sense.
- 39:24Speaker 5: Yeah, I could totally see that.
- 39:26Speaker 2: I like that one. Yeah. You know, there's a new
- 39:28Speaker 2: trend too of instead of wedding rings, and I feel
- 39:30Speaker 2: like this trend has been around for a while and
- 39:32Speaker 2: this is probably what I would do instead of a
- 39:34Speaker 2: divorce ring or a wedding ring, just get a tattoo.
- 39:38Speaker 2: Just get a tattoo, Okay, I mean maybe for guys
- 39:41Speaker 2: of just a ring oh or whatever, Like if I
- 39:43Speaker 2: ever in a fantasy world, yeah, which probably won't happen.
- 39:47Speaker 2: If I ever were to get remarried, yeah, I would
- 39:50Speaker 2: just get the person's initials tatting on my finger. You would,
- 39:53Speaker 2: I mean, I tattoos all over the place, So what
- 39:55Speaker 2: why not?
- 39:56Speaker 5: Right?
- 39:56Speaker 2: Is that weird?
- 39:57Speaker 3: You?
- 39:58Speaker 5: No?
- 39:58Speaker 3: I can't take that off? Or can I?
- 40:00Speaker 5: Yeah? I guess you could if you just hope you
- 40:02Speaker 5: never want to take that off.
- 40:03Speaker 2: No, that's what I'm saying. I mean I feel like
- 40:05Speaker 2: if I got remayor I just tattooed the initials right
- 40:07Speaker 2: on my finger, right on top of the in the shape.
- 40:09Speaker 3: Of a ring.
- 40:10Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, yeah, I've seen people do that.
- 40:12Speaker 3: Well, you're actually like, that's crazy. You wouldn't do that
- 40:14Speaker 3: for Eric your husband.
- 40:15Speaker 5: Yeah, but I just I'm shocked that you're to tattoo.
- 40:20Speaker 2: What do you mean?
- 40:21Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't know.
- 40:22Speaker 2: I mean, look, is this body a temple at this point?
- 40:27Speaker 2: Get tattoos?
- 40:29Speaker 5: Yeah? Some people are saying these are independence rings.
- 40:32Speaker 3: Independence ring or freedom rings, freedom ring.
- 40:36Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean I see a lot of women looks
- 40:38Speaker 5: like once you get used to wearing like that ring
- 40:40Speaker 5: or diamond or sparkly or jewelry in general, that like
- 40:43Speaker 5: at that level, like you would miss it. So I
- 40:45Speaker 5: could see.
- 40:46Speaker 3: What do you do with the old wedding ring? Like,
- 40:48Speaker 3: if you don't do this, what do you do?
- 40:49Speaker 5: Just sell it? I think most people sell it.
- 40:51Speaker 2: That's sad. Yeah, you just sell it and get rid
- 40:53Speaker 2: of it, or do you make it in something else?
- 40:55Speaker 2: Or I mean, what do you do with it?
- 40:56Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean take the money, yeah, sell it and
- 40:59Speaker 5: use the money.
- 41:00Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess.
- 41:01Speaker 2: I don't see why women are doing that that signifies failure.
- 41:04Speaker 2: You failed? Oh god, it does.
- 41:08Speaker 5: It's similar as as you tried.
- 41:10Speaker 2: Right, it might not even be that a woman's fault.
- 41:12Speaker 2: Why you're assuming it's you've not okay?
- 41:15Speaker 6: Mind you if the dude cheated or did something like
- 41:17Speaker 6: that and y'all didn't work out, Yeah, I.
- 41:19Speaker 2: Guess, But don't don't don't celebrate a divorce. I just don't.
- 41:23Speaker 2: I think that's a lot of people payful on both sides.
- 41:25Speaker 3: What about divorce parties? Divorce parties are big.
- 41:28Speaker 2: Now, as matter of fact, did you see recently somebody
- 41:31Speaker 2: put a divorce you know how they have birthday signs
- 41:33Speaker 2: in their front yard.
- 41:34Speaker 3: Yeah, somebody put newly.
- 41:35Speaker 2: Divorced signs, Yeah, in their front yard with the name
- 41:38Speaker 2: balloons everything. That's that's our divorce parties, tacky.
- 41:43Speaker 5: Yes, really, I think a divorce party years ago you did,
- 41:47Speaker 5: like yeah, it was like co ed. It was fun.
- 41:49Speaker 5: This was like I was super young, and these are
- 41:51Speaker 5: like the first people I knew that ever really got
- 41:53Speaker 5: a divorce that were like our age and it was
- 41:55Speaker 5: such a quick marriage. But now I remember going to
- 41:58Speaker 5: his divorce party because she she stepped out on him.
- 42:01Speaker 2: Yeah, oh she did.
- 42:02Speaker 3: Yeah, where was she from a scheme?
- 42:04Speaker 5: No?
- 42:05Speaker 2: No, okay, I had a friend who.
- 42:06Speaker 6: Had a divorced party and her ex showed up, Like stop,
- 42:10Speaker 6: I swear, yeah showed up.
- 42:12Speaker 2: Yeah they're they're cordial or whatever.
- 42:14Speaker 5: What.
- 42:15Speaker 6: But yeah, she invited him and he came with his friends,
- 42:17Speaker 6: and I'm like, what was going on?
- 42:19Speaker 2: That's so weird.
- 42:20Speaker 5: I mean, if you don't have kids and it's just like, hey,
- 42:22Speaker 5: even messed up. That was a bad choice. I mean,
- 42:24Speaker 5: do you I could see people doing that.
- 42:26Speaker 3: It's weird. To me that a guy would have the party.
- 42:28Speaker 5: Yeah, I can make no again.
- 42:30Speaker 2: The girl did the party, but her ex, you know,
- 42:33Speaker 2: husband came to the party and I was like, what's
- 42:35Speaker 2: going on?
- 42:36Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean the one I went to, he was
- 42:37Speaker 5: a good guy. Like everyone was like, dang, why did
- 42:40Speaker 5: you do that to him? And then everyone was like,
- 42:42Speaker 5: let's go out and celebrate the fact that she's out
- 42:44Speaker 5: of your life. They didn't have kids, it was they
- 42:46Speaker 5: were young, and it was kind of like.
- 42:47Speaker 2: That you can celebrate something like that. Yeah, everybody out
- 42:50Speaker 2: here looking for rings. I'm just I just want onion rings.
- 42:54Speaker 2: That's all I want. I'm just a big bag Nicks
- 42:56Speaker 2: one or two point nine. Good morning.
- 42:58Speaker 3: It's feel like a kid can of slow pan.
- 43:00Speaker 2: As producer Pooh, this has been so much fun just
- 43:02Speaker 2: partnering up with one eight hundred truck Wreck because they're
- 43:05Speaker 2: just great. They do so much for the community, not
- 43:07Speaker 2: just with us. They just and they don't talk a
- 43:09Speaker 2: lot about the stuff they do. Sometimes they just do
- 43:12Speaker 2: stuff and I think that's the kind of stuff it's
- 43:14Speaker 2: just magic. Yeah, just giving away money and just giving back.
- 43:18Speaker 2: And we did a holiday hookup over the holidays with them,
- 43:21Speaker 2: and it's just awesome. So thank you to wanting hundred
- 43:23Speaker 2: truck wreck. And now we're doing fill your fridge and
- 43:25Speaker 2: Amy with the Rights on the phone. So yeah, we're
- 43:27Speaker 2: just filling people's fridges and it's been so much fun.
- 43:29Speaker 1: Absolutely, absolutely. We kicked off the new year, everybody. All
- 43:33Speaker 1: the leftovers from the holidays are long gone.
- 43:36Speaker 2: This is the time where the holiday bills start rolling
- 43:38Speaker 2: in and things happen, and it's just like one thing
- 43:41Speaker 2: after another.
- 43:41Speaker 3: So the help is needed right now.
- 43:43Speaker 1: Yeah, so do let's talk to Catherine and see what
- 43:46Speaker 1: we can do for her and her family.
- 43:48Speaker 3: Let's do it. Catherine's on the phone. Good morning, Catherine,
- 43:50Speaker 3: how are you.
- 43:51Speaker 9: I'm very good, Good morning good.
- 43:53Speaker 2: I'm here with Amy with a right from one eight
- 43:55Speaker 2: hundred truck Wreck and yeah, go ahead and say hi
- 43:57Speaker 2: to her. Hi.
- 43:57Speaker 1: Amy, Hey, Hey, hey Catherine, and you sound like you
- 44:00Speaker 1: have a great family. You have three kids.
- 44:03Speaker 6: I have two kids.
- 44:04Speaker 9: I have a four year old and an eleven year old.
- 44:07Speaker 9: Today is his birthday, he just turned eleven. Happy birthday, Jackson.

- 44:16Speaker 1: your husband's name?
- 44:17Speaker 9: That's right, my husband Steven Stephen. I hope you have
- 44:20Speaker 9: a good day at work.
- 44:21Speaker 3: I love you.
- 44:23Speaker 1: Look at that sweet, sweet sweet. So what's going on
- 44:26Speaker 1: at the house other than you've got all boys and
- 44:30Speaker 1: Billy you can probably comment on out of food these
- 44:33Speaker 1: boys can eat.
- 44:33Speaker 3: Let me tell you something. I have a fourteen year
- 44:35Speaker 3: old who doesn't stop me.
- 44:36Speaker 2: A matter of fact, the other day I went to
- 44:37Speaker 2: the grocery store and I looked in the pantry and
- 44:39Speaker 2: I'm like, where'd all the snacks go? He's like, they're gone.
- 44:41Speaker 2: It had been one day, one day, all the snacks
- 44:43Speaker 2: were gone. So you have an eleven year old. I know, Catherine,
- 44:46Speaker 2: they they're going to start eating a lot. And your
- 44:48Speaker 2: husband probably eats a lot too. Yeah. I know.
- 44:51Speaker 9: I'm the only girl, but we're grateful. We're a happy family.
- 44:55Speaker 1: And well, I gotta ask Billy this, billy, how much
- 44:57Speaker 1: money you spent the grocery store?
- 44:59Speaker 2: Then, oh my gosh, I spent one hundred and eighty
- 45:01Speaker 2: dollars for my son and I and I felt like
- 45:04Speaker 2: I had two bags worth.
- 45:06Speaker 3: It felt like nuffy.
- 45:08Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it's for real. And Catherine, I don't know
- 45:10Speaker 1: what's your husband's favorite meal. I assume we're gonna tell
- 45:13Speaker 1: me steak.
- 45:13Speaker 9: Right, steak, mashed potatoes and asparagus.
- 45:17Speaker 1: Yeah, Now that meal at home is almost fifty dollars,
- 45:21Speaker 1: and that probably isn't four pieces of steak either. So Catherine,
- 45:25Speaker 1: we're going to hook you and your family up. You know,
- 45:27Speaker 1: you got sound like two great kids and a great husband.
- 45:30Speaker 1: How about not just one thousand dollars from one eight
- 45:33Speaker 1: hundred truck, right, how about fifteen hundred dollars.
- 45:36Speaker 9: I'm crying. We are dishwasher broke, our dryer broke. This
- 45:42Speaker 9: is really helpful, Okay, oh much you guys.
- 45:45Speaker 1: Well you can have plenty of food for hopefully a month.
- 45:48Speaker 1: I don't know, fifteen hundred. I hope it covers a month,
- 45:51Speaker 1: and that'll give you some round to buy that four
- 45:53Speaker 1: or five hundred dollars dishwasher. And lord, I don't know
- 45:58Speaker 1: about a dryer. A dryer's like.
- 45:59Speaker 3: Fifty yeah, but hey, this will help one to Katherine.
- 46:03Speaker 7: Absolutely.

- 46:11Speaker 3: Oh yeah, well, thank you.
- 46:12Speaker 2: That means a lot to us, and I'm glad that
- 46:14Speaker 2: one eight hundred truck wreck can take care of you
- 46:16Speaker 2: and enlighten the load a little bit and fill that fridge. Amy,
- 46:19Speaker 2: We appreciate you so much. Thank you guys for what
- 46:21Speaker 2: you do, and Catherine, thank you too for listening.
