Raised around trees and rolling hills in a tiny mountain town in West Virginia, Mary Remsburg grew up a classically trained pianist who, in neighboring cities, consistently received double superior ratings during piano competitions and was frequently selected to perform on honors recitals. Taught piano by her mother in their farmhouse living room, Mary found her passion for music and continued to grow in her dedication throughout childhood. She was trained in both classical and jazz music throughout college and received a degree in music education.
