- 0:02Speaker 1: the thoughts, opinions and views shared on the flow show are for educational and entertainment purposes.
- 0:08Speaker 1: I am not a professional, I am just good now got a great show for y'all today.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Everybody knows, unless you're living under a rock Trump President Trump just made history becoming the 47th president of the United States of America, and there are two sides of the spectrum.
- 0:34Speaker 1: There are people that are happy as hell and there are people that are mad as hell.
- 0:39Speaker 1: And today's show I'm going to go over where Kamala went wrong.
- 0:45Speaker 1: I'm going to go over a USA Today article.
- 0:48Speaker 1: I had a good article on it.
- 0:49Speaker 1: I'm going to tell you what it means now going forward and give you some thoughts on what I think went wrong.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Let's go, let's go.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Woo.
- 1:14Speaker 1: That was a hard-fought, passionate race on both sides.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Everybody didn't get the outcome they wanted, but a lot of people did get the outcome that they wanted.
- 1:22Speaker 1: But I'll say this, let's start with this Perception is reality.
- 1:31Speaker 1: We've all heard that saying or that phrase Perception is reality.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Perception is reality is often used to describe how people create their own realities based on their perceptions of the world, meaning, based on how they feel about the world.
- 1:56Speaker 1: That is, how they see the world, or based on how they feel about a certain person or a certain subject.
- 2:05Speaker 1: That's how they're going to see it.
- 2:07Speaker 1: It doesn't matter what the truth is right or wrong and in this world we have to deal with what it is, not what it could be or not what it should be.
- 2:38Speaker 1: And in this presidential election, democrats did a lot of things that could be perceived in a terrible way.
- 2:41Speaker 1: So let's dive into the USA today and then I'm going to get into more of my opinions and my direct thoughts.
- 2:48Speaker 1: But let's break down what the USA Today says.
- 2:53Speaker 1: You can look up this article yourself.
- 2:56Speaker 1: It says it's from this morning, early, early crack of dawn how Kamala Harris lost the election, the fatal flaws in a doomed election bid.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Again, the theme is going to be I'm not going to blame black people, white people, brown people.
- 3:14Speaker 1: I'm not blaming, I'm blaming the campaign manager and whoever ran the campaign of Kamala, the campaign of kamala.
- 3:29Speaker 1: You can ask my best friend or anybody.
- 3:29Speaker 1: I've already stated even before this it wasn't being ran right and I had a bad.
- 3:31Speaker 1: I had a feeling that, uh, trump will come out because of this poorly ran campaign.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Now, now there were some fatal flaws that the Democrats did that ultimately led to them losing this election.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Usa Today goes on to say when Kamala Harris appeared on ABC's the View last month, it was supposed to be a friendly forum to introduce herself to Americans unfamiliar with her story.
- 4:02Speaker 1: The Democratic presidential nominee instead struggled to explain what she would do differently from President Joe Biden.
- 4:12Speaker 1: She told the host not a thing comes to mind.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Here's the incumbent vice president told the host, when asked what she would do differently, the host, when asked what she would do differently.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Now, after this lopsided victory, we now look back and said this television moment underscored a fatal flaw of harris's campaign that doomed her election bid an inability to separate herself from an unpopular president whose approval ratings have hovered around 40% for most of his four years in the white house.
- 4:50Speaker 1: I agree with that.
- 4:57Speaker 1: If the, the current president, has a 40% approval rating over his whole four years and not much that we can point to to hold up, hang your hat on.
- 5:09Speaker 1: You got to separate yourself.
- 5:12Speaker 1: You have to show what you're To give us hope.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Currently, bread is Twenty dollars, eggs is twenty dollars, gas is twenty dollars, everything is expensive and everybody's drowning.
- 5:41Speaker 1: You can't blame the public for wanting something new.
- 5:45Speaker 1: You have to bring something new.
- 5:48Speaker 1: You have to bring a new concept and she didn't do that and it ultimately led to this result.
- 6:02Speaker 1: In poll after poll, americans for months overwhelmingly said they believe the country was headed in the wrong direction.
- 6:13Speaker 1: So if you have multiple polls saying that the country this is how the country feels, we have to deal with what the reality is.
- 6:23Speaker 1: The country feels we were going in the wrong direction.
- 6:25Speaker 1: That means if you want to become president, if you want to get the amount of the votes you need, you need to present, be presenting something new, something fresh, something we can look forward to forward to.
- 6:42Speaker 1: But when she made that statement of she's not going to change much from what Biden has done, that ultimately was a mistake and whoever ran the campaign should not run any more campaigns Now.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Harris did cast herself as a new generation of leadership and a forward looking candidate, but she didn't Show that when she Stayed so in line with what Biden has been doing Now.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Article goes on to say but given Harris's status as a sitting vice president, she never fit the mold of a traditional change candidate and she remained tethered to Biden, to Biden staying loyal to him even as Americans made clear they disapproved of his handling of inflation and migration at the southern border.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Now, if we're just talking about Holding down Holding down your family or your comrades or your colleagues she did that.
- 8:09Speaker 1: I mean, she stayed loyal to him, to Biden and to her phone fault.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Let's continue.
- 8:25Speaker 1: In the end, the election wasn't a nail biter like many expected.
- 8:30Speaker 1: It was a resounding victory for Trump and a rejection of Harris and the Democratic Party as Republicans.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Now Harris also underperformed among the black and Latino voters.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Trump's victory became all but certain when the former president was the projected winner of the battleground state of Pennsylvania and its 19 electoral votes.
- 9:01Speaker 1: It's a state that Democrats had lost only once since 1988.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Wow.
- 9:14Speaker 1: The Harris campaign devoted significant resources to four Sunbelt battlegrounds Arizona, nevada, georgia and North Carolina but she appeared unlikely to win any of them and the Democrats' blue wall crumbled as Harris trailed Trump in Michigan and lost outright in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
- 9:37Speaker 1: When you lose those states, as a Democrat I don't have to tell you guys that really sealed your fate.
- 9:48Speaker 1: And hold on.
- 9:51Speaker 1: We're going to get into the Diddy list and the Diddy correlation and the perception and reality.
- 9:57Speaker 1: I'm going to get to that.
- 9:57Speaker 1: I just want to.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Let's cover USA Today first and then we're going to get to my stuff.
- 10:03Speaker 1: They basically said Harris and her campaign hoped to win the White House by bringing over moderate, republican and independent voters fed up with nearly a decade of division in the era of Donald Trump, but those efforts didn't work, and Harris was also unable to prevent core Democrat, democratic constituencies, black, latino and young voters from splintering.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Harris underperformed with voters of color, particularly particularly Latino voters, but also black voters in urban centers such as Philadelphia, detroit and Milwaukee.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Harris carried black voters 86% to 12% and Latino voters 53% to 45%, according to CNN, but in the 2020 election, biden won black voters by a wider 92% to 8% margin and Latino voters 65 to 32 percent.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Now, basically, she underperformed in areas that she was supposed to perform well in, and that's pretty much you get.
- 11:22Speaker 1: That's why we're here now.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Excuse the weather.
- 11:27Speaker 1: If you hear a little thunderstorm, that's Mother Nature.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Now let's get into some of the more juicier stuff.
- 11:35Speaker 1: She paraded out celebrity after celebrity, celebrity after celebrity, and 80% of all the celebrities that she got endorsements from were names were floating around in the Diddy trial, which Diddy is the trial of the century.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Everybody's paying attention.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Now remember this isn't about right or wrong, guilty or not guilty, right or wrong, guilty or not guilty.
- 12:05Speaker 1: This is about perception.
- 12:08Speaker 1: And to the public we see all of these celebrity names wrapped up in the Diddy case and then, when previously they said they wouldn't endorse anybody, then Diddy gets arrested.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Then rumors are swirling that all of these celebrities are wrapped up in all these freak off tapes.
- 12:27Speaker 1: Then all of some of the main celebrities, like Jennifer Lopez, like Beyonce and the controversial Meg Thee Stallion, all of these names went and started endorsing Kamala and to the public it didn't pass the smell test.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Now, whether those celebrities are innocent or guilty or any of that does not matter.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Remember, guys, this is perception, is reality.
- 13:03Speaker 1: None of us are in these rooms.
- 13:05Speaker 1: We don't know these people.
- 13:07Speaker 1: All we can go by is what we perceive and that's what the public did.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Trump he got his endorsements from elonfk.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Um, joe brogan, I'm it's not a secret I'm not a fan of tucker carlson, but tucker carlson these people have, they move the needle when it comes to policy or what, what the policies people care about, or their following, their following is in tune with what's going on and they're very active the day.
- 13:51Speaker 1: And.
- 13:52Speaker 1: And then you look at kamala she's endorsed by glorilla, meg the stallion, cardi b.
- 13:59Speaker 1: You know I'm not judging them as people, but we live in a time where we are more, we are a more educated society.
- 14:07Speaker 1: We we know that these celebrities, they don't eat, sleep and breathe these politics all day long.
- 14:15Speaker 1: So they're following.
- 14:16Speaker 1: They're following only cares about what song you got out, what song you gonna make somebody's ass shake too.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Again, I'm not judging, I'm just saying what is perceived and why it fell flat.
- 14:32Speaker 1: The days of Meg the Stallion being able to twerk and that leads to votes those days are over.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Obama was the last heir for that.
- 14:45Speaker 1: That was a death blow.
- 14:50Speaker 1: But they had an article.
- 14:56Speaker 1: Trump Jr.
- 14:56Speaker 1: I'm not a fan of his, but I just deal with what's real.
- 15:02Speaker 1: I am not about pandering.
- 15:05Speaker 1: I'm not about just saying what's right.
- 15:08Speaker 1: I'm just about dealing with the facts as I see them and then giving you guys a chance to make your own opinion and form your own opinion.
- 15:19Speaker 1: I thought this was a uh uh.
- 15:20Speaker 1: This was a fox news uh interview, but donald trump revealed a bizarre new conspiracy theory about why sean diddy combs was arrested.
- 15:31Speaker 1: Remember the theme guys?
- 15:33Speaker 1: Perception is reality, it says here.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Donald trump jr has peddled an unfounded conspiracy theory suggesting that sean diddy combs was arrested.
- 15:43Speaker 1: So celebrities who were affiliated with him would endorse his father's opponent, Kamala Harris.
- 15:50Speaker 1: You all understand that.
- 15:54Speaker 1: Now the former president's oldest son has claimed these celebrities are endorsing Harris for payment because they were on the Diddy party list.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Perception is reality.
- 16:09Speaker 1: He goes on to say we're seeing an unprecedented amount of pay for play.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Again, he said this on his podcast, his triggered podcast.
- 16:20Speaker 1: The celebrities who aren't getting paid are getting probably paid in another way because they're either on an Epstein list or a Diddy party list, or both.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Now let's go back.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Elon Musk just said yesterday or or I saw in an interview I don't know when the interview actually happened, but I saw it yesterday and, as you know, elon Musk is in there with he.
- 16:46Speaker 1: He kind of knows what's going on.
- 16:47Speaker 1: He's been endorsing him behind trump.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Elon musk said trump bringing that epstein list out.
- 16:54Speaker 1: He said that epstein list is dropping.
- 16:58Speaker 1: He said that a lot of the billionaire or millionaire or these celebs are shaking in their boots because trump is the.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Trump is going to do the exact opposite of what Kamala was supposed to do.
- 17:10Speaker 1: This is perception, guys.
- 17:12Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 17:13Speaker 1: But what the public perceived is that Kamala was going to protect all those celebrities who endorsed her and common sense.
- 17:21Speaker 1: That's what we all would think.
- 17:22Speaker 1: If somebody endorses you or helps you out, I mean, of course you're going to look out for them.
- 17:27Speaker 1: I would do the same thing.
- 17:27Speaker 1: If somebody helps you out, I mean, of course you're gonna look out for them.
- 17:29Speaker 1: I would do the same thing.
- 17:29Speaker 1: If somebody helps me out, I'm gonna help them out.
- 17:30Speaker 1: I mean, this is the way of the world.
- 17:31Speaker 1: This is not rocket science.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Now, this is what he goes on to say and I'm just pay attention, we all saw that how magically diddy gets busted and all of a sudden everyone's endorsing the Democrat, just out of nowhere.
- 17:48Speaker 1: Now that could be a load of crap, but to us, or to the public looking on it's credence, you like, that could be true.
- 18:09Speaker 1: Let us go on.
- 18:19Speaker 1: They, the, the, the democrat, uh, also, let's say another death blow.
- 18:27Speaker 1: You have two big uh uh social media.
- 18:32Speaker 1: We know social media runs the world right now as far as the news and views and opinions.
- 18:38Speaker 1: The democrats basically were at odds with the two largest political, if you want, want to say freedom of speech, free thinking, apps, whatever you want to, kind of what box you want to put them in.
- 18:53Speaker 1: You got Twitter, which is now called X and you got TikTok.
- 18:57Speaker 1: These move the needles these days, guys, the Democrats.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Not only were they at odds with Twitter or X, but then they were actively fighting to ban TikTok.
- 19:15Speaker 1: But right as they're actively banning TikTok or trying to ban TikTok, they after that went on to create TikTokiktoks for biden and the hares campaign and and so now let's go back.
- 19:32Speaker 1: Perception is reality.
- 19:33Speaker 1: If I'm looking, I'm like well, why are you banning some stuff that we are enjoying, we are communicating, we are sharing what our truths are.
- 19:43Speaker 1: Why do you want to ban that and give us a bullshit reason that it's dangerous or our national security?
- 19:57Speaker 1: Yet you're on it, you're creating pages, you're posting and doing dances and doing whatever to get your votes.
- 20:06Speaker 1: We as a people are not dumb, and what the Democrats are going to have to change up, that they have to realize.
- 20:17Speaker 1: There we are an educated group.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Now you got to come authentic.
- 20:23Speaker 1: You got to come.
- 20:23Speaker 1: You got to come with real endorsements.
- 20:26Speaker 1: We're not going to the polls just because meg the stallion is shaking her ass.
- 20:31Speaker 1: We're gonna enjoy meg the stallion and her music and her craft.
- 20:38Speaker 1: This is not a shot at her at all.
- 20:40Speaker 1: She did what she does.
- 20:42Speaker 1: She's a rapper, a great one at that, good one at that and a performer.
- 20:47Speaker 1: But that's not gonna get asses to the polls anymore.
- 20:51Speaker 1: It used to.
- 20:52Speaker 1: We're in a different time now, y'all.
- 20:55Speaker 1: So elon musk buying twitter was another huge blow to the democrats because if you go back to the Obama campaign, twitter was a big part of his you want to say campaigning and getting the word out and in that era it was still.
- 21:22Speaker 1: It was about the stars and having Jay-Z perform and all of that.
- 21:28Speaker 1: And the democrats tried to run that same play this time and it was falling flat.
- 21:37Speaker 1: I had so many on my social media I pretty much stayed out of the, the whole that I didn't make too many opinionated things about the, the election, because I'm so bogged down with all these crime cases.
- 21:49Speaker 1: I had to pick a fight.
- 21:51Speaker 1: I have my own thoughts and opinions and who I vote for and all that.
- 21:55Speaker 1: But even I just mentioned that when that meg the stallion, when I said this, I said I made a post, I said I made a video.
- 22:03Speaker 1: This is not gonna do it this year.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Y'all, everybody not everybody, let me not say everybody, but a lot of people came in my comments Democrats and were mad and were saying like that, don't have nothing to do with it.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Why is you tearing Megan down?
- 22:18Speaker 1: And I wasn't.
- 22:19Speaker 1: I was just being honest about where we are.
- 22:23Speaker 1: See, it's not about the rappers, singers and actors anymore.
- 22:27Speaker 1: It's about the podcasters, streamers and content creators.
- 22:32Speaker 1: It's the Joe Rogans that's moving the needle.
- 22:37Speaker 1: It's not the Beyonce's anymore.
- 22:39Speaker 1: Beyonce is losing millions of followers herself Weekly.
- 22:48Speaker 1: What is an endorsement for her gonna do at this time?
- 22:55Speaker 1: So let's see what else.
- 22:56Speaker 1: Uh, make sure I let me see if I missed anything.
- 22:59Speaker 1: Hollywood is basically cooked and that's where her majority of her endorsement and what she was leaning on.
- 23:10Speaker 1: And I want to touch on something that that that kamala also did that it's going to rub people the wrong way and it it just goes to show that the whole campaign just wasn't ran right and we can blame.
- 23:30Speaker 1: Oh, and a lot of blame went to black men.
- 23:33Speaker 1: I saw that on my timeline a lot.
- 23:35Speaker 1: So let me let me dispel that.
- 23:36Speaker 1: There was only a 1% difference between where, how black men voted in 2020 when Biden ran in 2024.
- 23:45Speaker 1: 1% is not a difference at all.
- 23:52Speaker 1: So let's let's stop saying that and let's stop, let's stop blaming the people.
- 23:54Speaker 1: I hate that we soon something happened.
- 23:56Speaker 1: We're going to blame the people.
- 23:57Speaker 1: No, the democrats ran a terrible campaign.
- 24:01Speaker 1: This is what the purpose of campaigning is.
- 24:05Speaker 1: You have to run a better campaign.
- 24:09Speaker 1: Nobody's giving anybody anything.
- 24:12Speaker 1: They don't give me anything.
- 24:14Speaker 1: You listening, I'm sure you got to get up and go to work every morning and pay your bills.
- 24:18Speaker 1: Nothing is given to you.
- 24:20Speaker 1: Nothing is going to be given to any presidential candidate.
- 24:24Speaker 1: You have to, like they say, they have old football saying you have to play the games.
- 24:31Speaker 1: I don't care how it looks on paper, you gotta line up and your game plan and your execution has to be better than the next person.
- 24:39Speaker 1: And that didn't happen.
- 24:43Speaker 1: And then last night, kamala did not show up at Howard University for her concession speech or to, you know, thank her voters, or once she it was pretty clear she lost.
- 24:59Speaker 1: She didn't show up and that dealt a heavy blow to her own followers, her own supporters.
- 25:10Speaker 1: They were upset about that and we're going to end on that note.
- 25:14Speaker 1: This is Essence Magazine.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Kamala Harris delays addressing supporters at Howard University amid narrowing path to victory.
- 25:23Speaker 1: And it goes on to say Kamala Harris opted not to address her supporters in Washington DC on Tuesday night after former President Donald Trump secured wins in Georgia and North Carolina, the first two battleground states in the 2024 race.
- 25:43Speaker 1: That left a lot of supporters disappointed.
- 25:47Speaker 1: Race that left a lot of supporters disappointed so they say disappointed supporters at a rally at howard university heard from harris campaign co-chair, cedric richmond.
- 25:53Speaker 1: They didn't want to hear from cedric, they wanted to hear from kamala.
- 25:59Speaker 1: So cedric richmond, who announced that harris would not speak on election night, left a lot of supporters pissed off, sad, crying and in disbelief.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Initially, harris campaign officials have been optimistic about her chances, but their confidence appeared to waver as the night wore on and results came in.
- 26:22Speaker 1: It became pretty concerning Harris's campaign manager, jennifer O'Malley Dillon.
- 26:30Speaker 1: I'm not impressed with what you did, jennifer, and I don't mean no harm, but I'm just being honest.
- 26:37Speaker 1: She, jennifer, reassured campaign staff and supporters of a potential path to victory, stating while we continue to see data trickling in from sunbelt states, we have known all along that our clearest path to 270 electoral votes lies through the blue wall states, which they did terribly at, and so the crowd didn't care anything about any of that.
- 27:04Speaker 1: They were wondering where the hell was kamala and they were pissed.
- 27:14Speaker 1: And these are kamala supporters, um, one said.
- 27:18Speaker 1: It seems like as soon as kamala didn't need us anymore.
- 27:25Speaker 1: She left us hanging.
- 27:28Speaker 1: Another one said she could have at least came out and spoke to and thanked her supporters and addressed us.
- 27:38Speaker 1: See, and let's go back.
- 27:44Speaker 1: Perception is reality.
- 27:45Speaker 1: Now, there could have been a million reasons why she didn't come back and address, but the perception is you didn't respect your supporters enough to come out and speak.
- 28:02Speaker 1: Now, I don't know who knows, but but all I'm saying is we are in an era of authenticity.
- 28:15Speaker 1: If you look at what Cat Williams said, I said it in 2023, in September, that the algorithm was going to bring down, or bring down the elites, or just bring down this, this, this cookie cutter controlling us, and I'm talking about Republicans and Democrats.
- 28:37Speaker 1: I'm not talking, I'm talking about everywhere in general.
- 28:40Speaker 1: The media used to be controlled and paid for and bought so they could pump narrative.
- 28:45Speaker 1: They could pump us with whatever narrative they wanted.
- 28:48Speaker 1: The new algorithm tore that apart, tore it down to the studs.
- 28:53Speaker 1: Because now, joe Blow, with a phone, he can tell the world something if his tweet or if his post gains traction.
- 29:01Speaker 1: And that's where we are now.
- 29:05Speaker 1: See rolling out these celebrities for votes and it's not working anymore.
- 29:12Speaker 1: It's not going to work.
- 29:13Speaker 1: So, going forward.
- 29:16Speaker 1: Things are going to have to change in general.
- 29:22Speaker 1: I saw it on my own walk.
- 29:23Speaker 1: I started posting my views A lot of times in my posts.
- 29:29Speaker 1: I don't have a shirt on, sometimes, I'm not cleanly shaving, but I give honest News, honest views, honest opinions and it's authentic and I'm not Pandering and I don't have anybody I have to own up to or say whatever, and the public loves that, which is why my rise In this podcast and my social media Flow Daddy Flow has been just on fire, but it's just.
- 29:57Speaker 1: I'm authentic.
- 29:58Speaker 1: I'm not perfect, but I'm authentic.
- 30:02Speaker 1: But there was a time, let's say six years ago, this approach that I took might not have worked, because it wasn't about as much as about authenticity.
- 30:14Speaker 1: It was about who you, who you associated with, how much money you got Does.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Is Jay-Z standing next to you?
- 30:25Speaker 1: Is he rapping and saying, is he cosigning you Is?
- 30:28Speaker 1: Those days are over with, so I appreciate you all.
- 30:33Speaker 1: Hey, we got a new president, so I appreciate y'all.
- 30:34Speaker 1: We got a new president and, like I always tell people, whether it's a Democrat or Republican, my job is still the same.
- 30:42Speaker 1: I gotta be on.
- 30:43Speaker 1: They ass no ditty, and that's what I am, whether it's Trump or whether it's Kamala, whether it's Joe Biden, whoever it is.
- 30:50Speaker 1: My job with my people and my platform is to make sure that the people are being represented and taken care of, and that's what I'm always going to do.
