re544: Who’s Really Making Your Decisions? · Repossible

• 0:01
How do we make decisions from the smallest thing, like what should I order at lunch to should I run this project?
• 0:09
How do we make decisions? That's what we're going to talk about right now. You ready? Do you know how you make decisions? Do I? I've got an idea and I'm going to share it with you. And I hope at the end of this video you are going to have a better idea of how to understand how you make decisions. You ready? Here we go. I'm Bradley Charbonneau, and what I'm doing right now is an example of how I work.
• 0:35
And this is in fact a way to process decisions as well, because I am speaking out my ideas on a topic and then they get more clear for me. So that's one way right there. I'm talking out the idea to help me come to a decision.
• 0:54
Now I'm recording here. You don't have to do that, although I highly recommend recording and not. You don't have to put it out to the public. You don't have to be a crazy person like I am. But get it out, speak it out. Talk out your.
• 1:09
Your presentation or your project or your idea or even what you should have for dinner tonight. If you talk it through, talk it out, it helps you understand as if you're having a dialogue with yourself about what to do and how to work on it. Okay, that's one idea right there. And what I'm doing, I'm going to give you a little bit more insight into the way I work, how I process ideas, by telling you what I'm going to do today. So right now, welcome to Pepper here. There's Pepper.
• 1:37
That's my accountability partner. So what I'm doing right now is I am going to record this video and talk through decision making, talk through how, how we make decisions through a process that I've been using for years.
• 1:52
And by doing so, I'm reinvigorating my ideas about it and talking them through. And then what I'll do is I will take the transcript of this little monologue and for one, give it to ChatGPT. But then there's a secret weapon that I've been using lately, and it's Notebook. Lm Notebook. Lm What I like about it is that it my favorite thing to do. Here you go. Here's a pro tip. Ready? And I've been doing this a lot.
• 2:18
I will take my transcript or the video or the YouTube video or whatever, and then I will give it to Notebooklm and say, like, just have at it and then what NotebookLM does. One of the options, one of the outputs for NotebookLM is that there are these two AI bots, I call them Alex and Jordan. And Alex and Jordan have what they call an audio overview or they have a deep dive. And they even say, ready for the deep dive? And they then discuss the. The content that you put in as a source. So the source would be my talking about what I'm talking about today. Okay, so then I listen to their perspective on my topic. So now back to decision making. Back to what do I do? What do I do with my life? Bradley?
• 3:00
Bradley, what do I do with my life? Bradley. Myself asking myself, what do I do with my life? Right. And they are going to give me as if two people who really listened to, to my monologue here then, and they have a discussion about it. Oh, we've got friends. All right. Give me a little show, see how this goes.
• 3:22
  Pretty good. Pretty good, right?
• 3:23
  There we go.
• 3:28
We can have word from our sponsor.
• 3:33
  Hi.
• 3:38
Okay, back to the regularly scheduled programming.
• 3:41
Where were we? Decision making, right. How to not get sidetracked on the trail.
• 3:46
  So here we go. Ready?
• 3:48
I've been asked to. It's now, it's actually June 1st. Today I've been asked to present a workshop or a presentation on decision making on this, on Mindset.
• 4:02
And specifically because she saw a.
• 4:06
A presentation I gave back in Dublin, Ireland, and it was all about Mind, Heart, Gut. And if you follow my work, you know, I talk about them quite a bit. MHD Mind, Heart, Gut. For me, the names of them are Mattein, Henri and Go G, E, A U. If you follow me. You know them well, right? If you follow me and hopefully take some action, hopefully you've got your three Mind, Heart, Gut named out and characterized.
• 4:31
So who are these? Who are these characters? Who are these guys? This is the core of what I consider this, this mindset shift on not only how we make decisions, but how we process things, how we process ideas. And I like the decision idea because we make decisions all the time. We make hundreds, if not thousands of decisions every single day. I've got a path up here. Do I go left or right? I need to make a decision about that and I will. And who's going to help me decide? My mind, my heart, my gut. So let's have a quick introduction to these three and part of this presentation that I'm working on. And one thing I would really like to sort of embellish, I just like the word embellish, really work through and dig a Little deeper is how can I help you, dear workshop participant or dear viewer or listener? How can I help you create or discover or uncover these three Personas that live in each and every one of us? Right.
• 5:35
And if you're in denial, sorry, sorry to break the news, but you have these three within you. You have a mind, you have a heart, you have a gut. There's more. You can go down a little lower. You can know where I'm going there. You can go a little higher. And more the spirit. But first, now let's just focus on these three.
• 5:52
And mind, heart, gut. Here's a little pro tip.
• 5:58
Constraint creates creativity. If I tell you name these three characters whatever you want, you might get a little bogged down. Whereas if I say I want this one to start with an M, the name M. This one H, this one G. Mind, heart, gut. M, H, G. So now I'm giving your creativity a little bit of constraint.
• 6:17
And again, back to decision making. Back to how do I choose? How do I know what to do? How do I make that thing happen? And the thing is, if I give you some guidelines here, here's a fence. I'm going to walk along this fence.
• 6:30
And how do I know where to go? Well, because there's a fence. Well, I mean, I can jump over the fence, I can go the other side and that's fine and that's good.
• 6:38
But the fence is kind of where I'm, where I'm going, that's where I need to go. Okay? And I know that because this is the guideline that we have set up for me to go where I'm going today.
• 6:49
And for us, for you, for your decision making.
• 6:54
These are the three that are going to help you get where you're going.
• 6:58
And if I quote, unquote, like limit you to M and an M name and a H name and a G name, Martin, Henri. And go. Then you will. It'll actually be a little bit easier. And this is also back to decision making. I have narrowed the options because if I just said name them whatever you want, we could be here all day. Oh, this could be better for my mind. My mind is sort of like a, you know, a George, but it's also a little bit of a Henrietta, you know, like we'd be here all day. Forget it. So mht, who are these people and why do we care? We care because they are the decision making centers in ourselves.
• 7:45
And yes, we have our entire body and our, our, our soul. We have our body, we have our aura, we have our higher Self. We have our gut self. We have our. Our true self. We have all these selves, we have all these that make up you.
• 7:58
And yet I. In my humble opinion, these are the three core elements of.
• 8:03
I keep saying decision making, but of It's. It's a lot, right? It's a. How do we do anything? How do we decide? How do we go? How do we choose?
• 8:10
By the way, just one quick distinction on the word choose and the verb choose versus the verb decide.
• 8:18
I prefer the word decide. I think it's a little more done, it's a little more serious, it's a little more powerful or forceful. Whereas choose. Like I choose which ice cream I want. Yes. You could say I decide to choose chocolate. But it's more of a choice, right? A decision is more.
• 8:38
Yeah, you feel it. You feel it a little bit. The difference there, choose and decide. Anyway, you choose which word you like. But I prefer decide.
• 8:49
  All right, here we go.
• 8:52
I'm going to give you a quick. I'm going to give you a quick glance into the.
• 8:56
The sunny slopes of Driebersen here, just to give you an idea. Okay, here we go.
• 9:04
  Mind. Heart, gut.
• 9:06
The mind. We'll start with mind. Sort of the simplest, the mind. For me, it's Martine. Martijn is sort of.
• 9:13
  He's a.
• 9:15
He's like. He's a German guy, he's a Dutch guy. So I have German roots and French roots, and he's more of a. A German or French guy.
• 9:22
Come on, pip me. Middle more.
• 9:37
  Come in.
• 9:50
All right, back to our regularly scheduled program. I'm leaving that stuff in. It's good. It's, you know, it's B roll, right? It's good stuff.
• 9:58
Okay, mind. So I want you to think of your mind as your analytical, as your accountant, as your bookkeeper, as your financial advisor, as your school teacher. For me, again with the German. Right. So I have German roots and French roots in my family, and yet I live in the Netherlands. So it's also a northern European country. Netherlands is very organized and proper and runs well and, you know, government is stable.
• 10:23
  It's stable, right? It's stable. It's rational, it's logical. It's your mind.
• 10:28
So Martin, he, you know, he usually kind of knows what we're supposed to be doing, right? What you should be doing.
• 10:36
So who is this for you? Do you have a name for him or her?
• 10:39
Do you have some ideas of who this Persona is for you?
• 10:48
Can you think of. Can you visualize? So I. If I get my act together, Today I will share some visualizations of who I think, these characters, how I see them, and they. And this can be really, this can be a really fun exercise. And the reason I'm talking again, why am I talking through this? Because as I talk through it, I remember things about that past workshop in Dublin, Ireland. And I think like, oh, and I remember that this is a core idea of really one of the ideas that I really enjoy in doing all this and talking about this topic, because I think it's really a powerful one. And then. So how can I make this better for you? Right, We've got a busy crowd today.
• 11:33
Okay, you get the idea. I think you. I think you know, m. I think you know, mind. It's. It's the simpler one of the two. The two down below, they get a little like, they have a little more overlap. Right, so next up is, is A or heart.
• 11:47
I like Henri because he's, he's very French. Again, I have their French roots as well. And by the way, the French, they can't really say H. They don't say it. They say.
• 11:57
So they say Henri. And I like to joke that, you know, he can't say that. The. The hair on my arm. And he'll say the hair on my arm. And I like to make fun of Henri. And Henri, I mean, he's a, he's a lover. I'm a lover, not a fighter. And he's very French and he's very suave and he's all about love and he is about caring and love and maybe a bit of lust, but more deeper love, more epic love, more true love, more falling in love.
• 12:31
And it's not just romantic, of course.
• 12:34
There's definitely, oh my God, Henri is total romantic kind of guy. But he's about caring and family and commitment and joy and happiness.
• 12:46
Although joy and happiness, we're getting down into go territory. Right, so love. How does love, how does Henri, how does heart make decisions?
• 12:54
  It's often.
• 12:55
And this is, okay, maybe this is me, but for me, love is all is really about.
• 13:01
Like true love for me is caring for someone more than you care about yourself.
• 13:06
And that. So if you think about that one from your, from your heart, well, you're no longer necessarily thinking about yourself anymore. You're thinking about others.
• 13:16
And that can put a little twist in your decision making process. If you think, well, wait a minute, Bradley, isn't this about me? Isn't this about the whole me person?
• 13:24
And so what happened to that?
• 13:27
And how does this guy, how does his heart bring Others into the equation. Well, it's exactly what he or she does. They bring the love into the equation. And love is, for me, so much more about another person, or dare I quote my soulmate, who says. Whoa.
• 13:46
  Who says?
• 13:49
  I said that.
• 13:52
Who says, Is love or falling in love more about who you become when you're with that person?
• 14:04
Right. Is it really that person you're in love with or is it who you become when you're with that person?
• 14:14
I might be getting into different topics, but I'm not sure I am because I think this is also love, because there's self love and the love for yourself that grows.
• 14:29
  Wow.
• 14:31
  When.
• 14:35
  When you're with that person.
• 14:38
So that person brings out the best in you. That person brings out who you want to be, who you like to be.
• 14:46
That person brings out the you that you desire to be, that you hope to be, that you wish to be, that maybe you are, but it comes out with that person.
• 14:57
So is that love too? I think it is.
• 15:00
Does that mean you love that person or does that mean you love yourself? And I think it's both or it's overlap or it's a Venn diagram to get a little Martin going on. Right.
• 15:09
  Feel me here, Feel me.
• 15:12
  I'm feeling it.
• 15:15
That's Henri. Big, big shoes to fill. Right. Henri is love.
• 15:25
All right, all right. We're moving along here. We're gonna get down to go. Go's cool.
• 15:30
Let's go to another sand dune.
• 15:33
So little. Little note from our sponsor here. Our sponsor is. Is. I don't know, Notebook lm.
• 15:40
Because I'm gonna remember. Remember what I'm gonna do. I'm. I'm monologuing here. I mean, I'm talking to you, but I'm really talking to me because I'm talking about a workshop, a presentation I'm going to give in July where I was asked to talk about mind, heart, gut and mindset and stuff. It's funny because they asked about mindset, but it's like, well, that's only one element. So mindset, mind, heart, gut, and a presentation in July. Okay, and what's it about? Is it about decision making? I don't think they said that.
• 16:13
I'm not sure they remember that. I'm not sure that that was even my topic back in Ireland.
• 16:18
So I don't know. And this is again, where we're working through something. This is a perfect example of how we're working through it by talking through it.
• 16:25
I'm talking through it right now with you. Right. I'm Talking through this idea of mind, heart, gut, and decision making. I'd also love to hear from you. Is it really about decision making? Is that what we're talking about here? Are we talking about something else? Are we talking about mindset? Are we talking about, I don't know, how to find ourselves, how to be more of your true self? Who. Who are. Whoa. Who are we? Wow. Really?
• 16:50
Who. Who are we? Who do we want to become? Who will we become?
• 16:56
Can I shout out my sponsor? My sponsor is Bintang.
• 17:01
This. So this. Can I. Can I. Can I do a little aside? Okay. I'm asking myself seriously, Martinez, like, get on with the program.
• 17:09
Henri is like, I want to hear it. And Go's like, just. Just do it. So here we go.
• 17:14
Do you get that? Here we go. Here we go.
• 17:17
Here we go. I used to say that. Coach basketball team eight years. Here we go. And we get going with the game. So this shirt, Bintang.
• 17:26
One year ago, I was in Bali, and Bali had been a dream of mine for a long time. But actually, that has nothing to do with it. The. The dream is that this shirt fits.
• 17:36
  I. It's now June o6 month.
• 17:39
I've been five months eating better, working out, with the exception of my surgery two weeks ago, but working out three weeks ago with my working out, eating better, eating healthier, and I've lost at least 4 kilos, probably more like 6. For you Americans, that's like 10 or 12 pounds, which is pretty awesome. And this shirt fits me better. There we go. There's a little sponsor from our. Our gym health center where I work out. You still with me here? You still hanging with me? Are we still hanging out? I'm feeling good. You feeling good? I mean, we want to get to go. Go is where the action is. Go is goes. Go time. Go is like, he the man.
• 18:21
All right, I am channeling my inner Rich Robinson. Shout out to Rich Robinson, who I visited in Bali, and he's the main reason we went to Bali at all to visit my old buddy Rich Robinson, who is the man who has been on this show and has been getting comments about, like, when are you coming back on the show? Hint, hint. Rich, my man, come on back to the show and have a better microphone this time. Sorry there was complaints about your microphone, but it was bad.
• 18:43
All right, can we move on from. From Henri? I mean, Henri, he takes up quite the stage, right? He's a big figure. The heart for me, I'd love to know what you think, but the heart for me, you know, are these Three. Are these three Personas, are they all equal? I don't think they are. And maybe it depends on the situation or depends on the decision or depends on, like what does it depend on? Right, the life situation, on who gets more say in the matter, who gets the upper hand, who gets more votes. Right. Because if you think about if it's a vote like yay, yay, nay or something, that's two against one. So that's why it's good. It's an odd number because if like Martijn and Go agree but Henri is against it, well, that's two against one. So Henri's really got to state his case to make that work.
• 19:36
Okay, so I think we've got Henri covered. We've got, you know, love. But then also, this is a biggie. And this is one thing I learned in Pisa in Italy a month ago and that is self love. And I, I talk a lot about confidence.
• 19:50
We could say that this entire process we're talking about is, is related to confidence because you have the confidence to make the right decision.
• 20:01
In fact, do you remember if you're still hanging out here with me? And by the way, if you are, I love you.
• 20:07
And this is where the goods. I'm at minute 20. I try to keep these under 10, but I'm rolling here and I'm feeling it. And for me this is research, this is doing the work. You know, people talk about when are you actually gonna do the work? This is the work.
• 20:23
This is where it comes down to. This is where that, that deeper stuff comes out.
• 20:29
Because I'm monologuing for 20 minutes and I'm going to then share this with, you know, chat and Nopak Alem with Alex and Jordan.
• 20:36
If you want their names, it's Charlie and then Alex and Jordan. If you just, if you really need to know my, my inner circle of, of decision makers, they are part of my decision makers. I, I fully admit and they help because they give me a third party perspective. But back to Pisa. One thing I learned in Pisa, thanks to I'm gonna shout out to Gosha and that is self love. And I had been talking a lot about confidence and I'm still on the confidence kick. I still think confidence is sort of my main thing.
• 21:04
Bradley, what do you offer people? I offer them more confidence. I can help you build your confidence.
• 21:10
I can help you grow your confidence to increase your confidence, to make your confidence easier to retrieve.
• 21:18
How can I help you get your confidence? Well, maybe it's through decision making, maybe it's through working with your mind and your heart and your gut to make the more confident decision. Ooh, this is good. To make the more confident decision for that big question you have, and whether it's should you get fries with that or should you do this project? Should you be with this person?
• 21:42
Should you give that person space?
• 21:47
Should you do that thing you've been wanting to do?
• 21:52
And if you have the confidence in your decision, in your choice, then you are free to move about the cabin. Sorry, US Airline reference there. You are free to then move forward because you have the confidence to make better decisions.
• 22:11
Oh, I'm liking that. Charlie, if you're listening, and I know you will be, and Alex and Jordan, if you're listening, what do you think about that? What do you think about a title like that where you have. You are building the confidence to make better decisions?
• 22:28
It sounds a little boring. It's not very sexy. You know, it's not make more money.
• 22:34
Right? It's not. I don't know. Live your happiest life. I mean that, you know, it all's good. It's all Hallmark card. But see, I don't think on the Hallmark card you're gonna get.
• 22:45
Increase your confidence so you can make better decisions. It's just not sexy. So let me put that out there to you. If you. Dear visitor, dear listener, dear viewer, dear friend, dear colleague, dear acquaintance, if you're watching this and you're thinking you've got some ideas about my topic, I'd love to hear them.
• 23:07
So what. What is this? Like, what are we really talking about? These 3%. We haven't even gotten to the go, the gut, right? And already there's so much coming up. And this is exactly why I do this. This is my research. This is my.
• 23:23
My pull back the curtain into Bradley's workshop here, Bradley's laboratory on how things get done, how I choose projects, how I work through workshops, how I talk through presentations, how I develop keynotes. It's all right here. This is where it happens.
• 23:41
All right, should we wrap this thing up? Let's get down to go.
• 23:45
For those who are not familiar go, you might think it's spelled G O. Because he's like the go guy. He's the go man. He's like, it's go time. It's go.
• 23:53
However, there are influences. There's Henri. Henri and Henri said, like, that's just not. This is not going to work, Bradley. You're not. I mean, I was born and raised in Southern California, you know, on the beach.
• 24:06
I would say Surfer dude. Except I never really mastered surfing. I'm okay. But I was definitely a beach bum and loved it. And so I do have that, like, California vibe, bro. Just like, this is what we're going to do. I don't know why, but I just, like, feel it, you know? So, like, that's what we're doing, you know? Is that cool with you, bro?
• 24:28
I didn't really talk like that, but I can.
• 24:31
And I can hang with the bros.
• 24:33
So that's. So Henri said, like, we're not just going to spell it G, O. That's not going to fly with me. I'm too sophisticated. I am too European. I am. I am from Europe, right? And so Henri said, you have to spell it G, E, A, U.
• 24:47
If you know my last name, Charbonneau. E, A, U, O sound. So he changed the spelling. I think he went down to city hall and everything, changed it to G, E, A, U. Go.
• 24:59
  So go is the gut.
• 25:01
So for you, what is that? What is that? Gut. So if you think about it, I think go and gut. We're down to intuition. We're down to gut feeling. We're down to, you know, why is that the case? I just feel it. I can feel it. I know it's the right answer. So when you say, like, I know it's the right answer, you might think, mind, no knowledge. Mind.
• 25:21
I don't know, though, right? I know it. I feel it in my gut.
• 25:27
Although you could say I feel it in my heart.
• 25:29
So that's where I think, like, Henri and Gault, they definitely share the less, you know, administrative, mathematical world of Martin. And so Henri is heart. I think, like heart. Just maybe it's the loving person that I am. But Henry cares about others.
• 25:48
He truly, truly does. And I think he might even care more about others than about me, which is. Okay. That's pretty cool, right? I mean, isn't that the truest of love? When you care about someone more than you care about yourself, that's true love.
• 26:04
Wow. Did you think? I'm. We're talking about decision making, and I'm talking so much about love, and yet there's so much self love in here.
• 26:13
And I'm not just saying me self love, but you. This is the key, this self love. And again, shout out to Gosha, but because I said confidence, she said self love. She's like, bradley, you can help me try to build my confidence all day, but if I don't have self love, then I'm just. Then you're just giving me actions and exercises.
• 26:33
And I don't know if it's really going to build my confidence if I don't have the self love to own that confidence.
• 26:42
  It's good stuff, good stuff.
• 26:45
Shout out to Gosha and shout out to Edwina because Edwin. All right, if I'm just going to tell you the whole story, Edwina, then who's a dear, dear friend. And Edwina said we were talking about love and I'm talking about Gosha and her Polish accent because she was saying love, self love, love yourself.
• 27:02
  And I, at some point I couldn't tell if she was saying love L O V E or laugh. L A U G H.
• 27:08
But then like that whole weekend in Italy, there was a lot, there was a lot of love and there was a lot of laughter.
• 27:14
And I think maybe my world, maybe my spot in the universe is in between love and laugh or it's at the overlap of love and laugh and that's love and that's like L L U F F.
• 27:31
Thank you, Edwinna, for that. L U F F. And that's where my world is.
• 27:37
Were you expecting this? I'm at 27 minutes. If you're still watching. I, I love you. I love you.
• 27:44
I'm still watching. I can't believe, I mean, I'm still here. What am I doing? You know what I'm doing? I'm working through the presentation, I'm working through the topic. And again, I highly recommend this process Go hit record. Don't put it public. Just record it for yourself. Then get the transcript, share it with a friend or share it with, with ChatGPT or NotebookLM or whatever and listen to what they have to say about your thing.
• 28:08
They're gonna pull out stuff. You've, you've said some gems. I know I said some gems in here. I've known. I've been going deep. I've been going deep and dark and also light and beautiful and heavy.
• 28:21
And so it's all working out. It's all. Even with interrupting some doggies. I see Morphe.
• 28:28
All right, can you, can you feel him going with the flow here? How many dogs, how many people we talked to almost got trampled by that fast moving canine?
• 28:38
All right, let's get down to Go because it's go time. It's. It's bingo time. It goes like, hey, hello, bro.
• 28:45
So GO is from California, right? Go. Southern. Specifically Southern California because that's where I grew up. But I did live 17 years in San Francisco where like go. They just don't love Southern California. Southern Californians, they are very much like, let's go, bro. Let's just do it. Not gonna ask a reason why. Just feel it, bro. Let's just go.
• 29:03
So that's kind of go, right? Go is gut, gut reaction, gut feeling. I just feel it in my gut. I just know, let's do this thing.
• 29:10
Go is also a lot about action, and Go is taking action. And this is again, like, when I talk about confidence, like, in fact, what I told Gosha. Gosha, I said, gosha, it's, it's.
• 29:23
I want you to take action, and I actually want you to fail in taking that action. Because through failure and through testing and trying and what I'm doing right now, right, I'm testing and trying and working through this, then I am going to learn.
• 29:38
And if I fail and I can dust off my. My pants and stand up again, then I have progressed.
• 29:47
And if I can progress, I'm pretty sure Tony Robbins says something like. He either says, like, happiness is progress or success is progress. I can't remember what he says.
• 29:58
I'm going to dare say there's some mix of confidence in progress, because remember, my word is really confidence, and if I take Gosha's word for it, then my word is self love.
• 30:08
And yet I did a poll on my. On my YouTube channel. I'll try to remember to put a link down there. But I did a poll and it's like, do you want, like, self confidence, confidence, self love, or self belief or something like that? And confidence was really the clear winner, but could just be vocabulary, right? It could just be like, that's a word we're more familiar. Familiar with and sort of easier to say than.
• 30:30
I don't think we walk around saying, I wish I had more self love. Well, maybe I. I don't really say that, but I often. I often say I wish I had more confidence. Or I used to say, I have a lot of confidence now.
• 30:40
So back to go, because go is action and Go is. Let's just do this. And I gave a presentation one time, not the island one, but a different one where they're just ordering.
• 30:52
I literally gave entire. It was out of control. In fact, I should really do this for the workshop. But I gave an entire scene where Martijn in full, like, German accent and then Henri in full French accent, and then Go in full California accent and mannerisms. And the whole show I was out of control.
• 31:11
And they're ordering fries whether or not I order fries. And Mactijn is talking about, like, the calories and, like, the empty calories, and it's just, you know, deep fried and not good for you and everything. And Henri was like, yeah, but, you know, the. The taste and the love and the oils and maybe a nice. A nice deep, rich mayonnaise, right? Because I am half Dutch here.
• 31:33
And. And then go. He just ordered. He just. He's not even listening. He's just like, let's just order. And he got him. And he got the fries, right? And so that's an example. Goes Takes action.
• 31:43
He feels it. He feels it in his gut because he is the gut.
• 31:48
So Go. He's a man, right? Or he. The woman.
• 31:51
He's. He's your go to dude, right? Here's your go to decision maker. And he's often the decision breaker. And he will.
• 32:00
He's gonna. He's not gonna hold back, right? He's gonna say what he said, says what he's thinking. He's gonna do what he needs to do. He's gonna make it happen.
• 32:09
And go, yeah, he can be the tiebreaker. If Henri is all about the love and Martijn is all about the.
• 32:16
The rational, logical thinking. And Go comes in, he's like, this is what we're doing.
• 32:21
So that's Go. That's gut. Can you feel. Can you feel that one for you? Can you feel that.
• 32:29
That Persona for you, who that might be? Who's your. Who's your go. Who's your. Who's your gut? And see how that feels for.
• 32:41
Oh, got a lot of little doggies going on.
• 32:43
  Little unchis.
• 32:47
All right, so in. In proper YouTube editing, I would edit out all this stuff, but this is Bradley Charbonneau and Pepper Gripper, Okay? And I ain't gonna be doing none of that because we're. Because it's go time.
• 33:11
And honestly, I. So I read about a lot about YouTube and what you should do and what you should not do and stuff. And they talk about how the. The big word. I mean, it's not really a new thing, but authenticity, right? And so this is authentic me. This is no editing. This is no cut out the ums and the ahs and the blank spaces and cut out when the dog comes by to visit. No, this is the real deal. This is how it works. This is creation in progress.
• 33:38
This is me creating something from nothing.
• 33:43
33 minutes ago, I hit record. I didn't totally know where I was going, other than I've got to work on this workshop.
• 33:49
If you want to know my real method, it's play with the workshop. I'm not working out here. Right? This is not work. This is fun. This is. I like doing this. All right, mount with Pepper. I'm outdoors, it's sunny. I'm even have like a hat and sunglasses. Are you kidding me? It is lovely out here.
• 34:04
So this is playtime. This is with a two good friend of mine. We used to have, we call it play storm. And we had like a storm of play. And the three of us would get on zoom and play and work through ideas. And that's kind of what I'm doing. But I'm doing it here alone. And this is my shout out to you. My call to action for you is to go hit record either on video or audio videos. You know, it's tougher. If you don't want to look at yourself, you can, you can film your dog. I usually film Pepper, but I'm going a little.
• 34:40
Going a little out of my comfort zone and doing me.
• 34:46
And we're talking about it. Let's wrap this up.
• 34:50
We've talked, we've talked now about is it decision making?
• 34:56
Could there be something about confidence in here or am I just trying to weave in a word that I love so much that I would like to use in here and because I just think so much has to do with confidence. In fact, on that poll, and again, I'll try to link to this, there's a poll on my YouTube channel, again with the confidence as the winner. And somebody said something, the comment was something like, if you have confidence, you can get the other, the other things.
• 35:22
And I tend to agree because I think confidence, maybe that's part of my research. And this is where. All right, I'm going to ask this to myself here, but I'm going to ask it to the, to Charlie and to Alex and Jordan. If you could look up confidence for me, like, what is it? What does that entail?
• 35:42
And then how does that compare with self love?
• 35:45
And then my original idea, remember, was decision making.
• 35:50
So could it be like confidence in decision making or confident decision making?
• 35:57
Could that be part of this and could that help with the mindset, the more positive mindset or the growth mindset of learning and growing and improving?
• 36:10
And then, I mean, I'm all about happiness and joy and love, right? So how is that related?
• 36:16
Could it be related because when you're making better decisions, you're moving forward and you're happier because you're doing the things you had hoped you could do.
• 36:28
Could it be that there love yourself into confidence.
• 36:35
  How's that landing for you?
• 36:37
Love yourself into confidence. Or if we're going with Gosha and Edwinna, laugh yourself into confidence.
• 36:46
  I'm feeling that.
• 36:49
So what I want to know, because with Gosha says, love yourself, right? Because that one is not as clear for me. Because I so shout out to Aaron Fletcher, who's on that guru dude I used to follow, he would say, it's not. I don't know if it's his thing, but it's something like, I will give you more of this so that you can do that without having to resort to this in order to that, right? So I offer, I offer to help grow your confidence so that you can make better decisions. Oh, I like that. Without doubt and fear. Although, you know, it's not without doubt and fear. Without doubt and fear in order to be happy. I mean, what's our goal here, right? In order to love yourself more.
• 37:46
  How's that, Landon?
• 37:48
Confidence in order to dare love yourself more.
• 37:53
Can you feel that one? Because remember, I know they're intertwined. I know there's a Venn diagram and overlap, right?
• 38:02
And yet I struggle a little with, how do you find that? How do you, how do you get self love? Because my whole thing for a while has been, how do you get more confidence?
• 38:13
And I think the answer was very Silicon Valley of me.
• 38:16
It's very, you know, fail fast, fail often.
• 38:19
You know, do the thing and fail and learn from it and brush yourself off and do it again and succeed. Yay. Now you build confidence. I want you to write your worst book ever so that you can then write your best book ever, right? So that was sort of my thing, but with the self love. And back to Gosha who's saying, but you need self love. If I don't have self love, I'm not going to even try or I'm just going to fake it or whatever.
• 38:40
So I think that's maybe part of my question, is how do we get that self love?
• 38:47
And is confidence the pathway to get there or is it the other way around? Do I need more self love to get to more confidence? And is confidence the goal? For me, I think confidence is the goal because I agree with that commenter on my YouTube channel who said once you have confidence, you can get all the other stuff. I tend to agree with that.
• 39:06
I once I have confidence that I can learn a little Italian, then I can learn more Italian. Once I have the confidence that I can record a video, then I have the confidence to start a YouTube channel.
• 39:18
Once I get over my fears of writing a bad book because I wrote A bad book, then I can write a better book.
• 39:25
So for me, that's confidence and that's growing and growth.
• 39:31
Charlie, Alex and Jordan, I know you're listening.
• 39:36
So let's. Let's wrap this up with a pretty bow on it. Right? Let's talk about what is this really about? If I was asked, remember this whole thing started, I was asked to do a workshop or a presentation based on something like improve the mindset or whatever from sort of my presentation on mind, heart, gut. And I don't know if she had talked about decision making. I don't think she did. I don't think she caught that. So mind, heart, gut, and how can I help you with your mindset? And I think I'm back to confidence and I want to talk about that. So.
• 40:07
All right, there you have it. I think I'm going to wrap this up. This was, you know, going to be 10 minutes, but I'm rolling. Are you rolling? I'm rolling. You feeling this?
• 40:14
You feeling the love here? Because I am just dishing it out. I am just dishing out the love and the value and the goodness and the experience and the knowledge and the failures and the successes and the helicopters and the Dribergen sights and sounds. Right?
• 40:37
All right. Digging through the jungle here.
• 40:43
  All right, what's your takeaway?
• 40:45
Remember, if you're still here, I love you to pieces.
• 40:49
What's your takeaway? What. What did you get from this? What did you get from Bradley's monologue in the woods that's going to help you? What I. Here, let's do. All right, let's wrap this up with Hero's Journey.
• 41:03
Remember, Hero's Journey, according to Donald Miller and Storybrand, is there's a hero who has a problem who meets a guide who has a plan with a call to action to avoid failure and achieve success.
• 41:20
So if I could wrap this up right now, right here with what I was talking about today. The hero, that's you, who has a problem. What's your problem?
• 41:30
  Lack of confidence.
• 41:32
Meets a guide that guides me. I'm Bradley. I have a plan. Mind, heart, gut, with a call to action could be. Identify your mind, heart, gut. Name them.
• 41:43
Avoiding failure is wallowing through life without being able to make a decision and achieve success is to have the confidence to love yourself.
• 41:55
  Kaboom town.
• 41:58
  How you feeling?
• 42:05
So what I'm going to do, just to remind you of the process, I'm going to take this video, I'm going to upload it. You can watch it if you're still watching you know what I think about you. You know what I feel for you. You know how grateful I am for you and share the. I'll share the transcripts and then we'll see. And in fact, I will do it. Okay, Here. If I don't do this, remind me. But I'm gonna do it then I will give this to Charlie and I will give it to Alex and Jordan, and I'm gonna let Alex and Jordan take it through and then we're gonna do an audio from them and I will share that audio as well. So. And I'll let you know what they think. And here's my own call to action.
• 42:45
I need a workshop for July and I need a topic. I need a title. I need a subtitle. I need a description. I need a call to action. I need a hook. What am I doing here? And remember, the audience, I think the audience is sort of authors. But you know what? I don't think it's just authors. I think it's authors and creators and creatives and entrepreneurs.
• 43:06
So I'm going to say that. But honestly, and you're not supposed to say that the audience is everybody. And it's not the odd. Here we go. Here we go. Who's the audience? The audience are those people who would like to have more confidence and are ready to take action to get more confidence in their life and more self love.
• 43:29
And it's a chicken and the egg. I don't know which comes first, self love or confidence. But that's what I'm going with.
• 43:36
I am Bradley Charbonneau. My company is called Repossible. It's sort of like possible again and again. Because I'm about repetition. I'm about commitment to the process. I'm about the structure and the science as well as the spirit and the spirituality. I'm all about the woo, but I'm all about the who.
• 43:55
I'm all about the when and the where and the what. But the when is usually now because I make a joke about someday and. And how someday doesn't exist. You know what exists right now. You know what exists? The past 44 minutes have existed and I'm here recording and I am proud I did it. I am happy I did it. I want you to go record something, make something, do something, say something, talk through an idea. Doesn't have to be 44 minutes. It doesn't have to be in 4k video with various dogs passing through. But that's just me. That's just how I do things. I want you to do your thing and I want you to go out and create because we are creators and we are creators and we need to create mindheart Gut. If you have names for your mind heart Gut share them in the comments. I'd love to hear them. You know mine, Martineau.
• 44:44
They are settled in my soul. They are my soul. I the whole package here. I am Bradley Charbonneau and I am grateful that you showed up today and are here with me.
• 44:56
Let me know what you think and I'll put a bunch of links in here sharing what we what we've done, other stuff I've mentioned and also future links to other stuff which is related to all this before Pepper goes in front of the bicycle over there.
• 45:09
All right, all right. Just another lovely day in paradise over here. I hope your day is going well. I wish you a wonderful day and my call to action for you is go create something if you don't know what to create.
• 45:25
MHG who are they? Let me know in the comments.
• 45:28
  Bye for now.
