- 1:09Speaker 2: The popcorn moment, Let's go, let's go, let's go to kick.
- 1:12Speaker 2: It's a story you need to hear to believe. Then
- 1:14Speaker 2: grab your popcorn because there is more. I almost changed
- 1:18Speaker 2: gears and decided to address some madness that I saw
- 1:26Speaker 2: on the social media, some opinion stuff regarding Michael beckw
- 1:33Speaker 2: the lieutenant governor, who has put himself in the position
- 1:37Speaker 2: of saying, hey, if you're outraged by that, don't forget
- 1:41Speaker 2: to click.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Which is his goal.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Michael beckw With is not interested in being a lieutenant
- 1:46Speaker 2: governor mi Que beck With is interested in being a
- 1:48Speaker 2: podcaster and a social media influencer. And every single thing
- 1:52Speaker 2: he has done points in that direction. In that direction only.
- 2:00Speaker 3: Just does.
- 2:01Speaker 2: But I said, no, no, no, I'm going to I'm
- 2:04Speaker 2: going to stay on target. I'm going to stay focused
- 2:09Speaker 2: on the subject at hand, and just a real quick
- 2:13Speaker 2: moment about this guy, Scott Pelly. And you say to me, Tony.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Scott Pelly, I thought he didn't matter. He doesn't.
- 2:24Speaker 2: I want to share with you how the left self soothes.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Scott Pelly was.
- 2:30Speaker 2: One of the hosts there of sixty Minutes, and Scott
- 2:34Speaker 2: Pelly didn't like the fact that Barry Weiss would come
- 2:38Speaker 2: on to lead the news department, and that a new
- 2:41Speaker 2: guy by the name of Nick Bilton, who I know
- 2:43Speaker 2: nothing about, was brought on to be executive producer of
- 2:47Speaker 2: sixty Minutes and accused them of murdering the network and
- 2:51Speaker 2: destroying the show.
- 2:53Speaker 1: And Scott Pelly told Builton.
- 2:56Speaker 2: That he has no business doing this, He's not qualified
- 2:59Speaker 2: those kinds of things. And they've still tried to find
- 3:02Speaker 2: a way to work with Scott Pelly. And Scott Pelly
- 3:04Speaker 2: got fired, and rightfully so rightfully so it's not his network,
- 3:11Speaker 2: it's not his show. Never believe your own hype. Well,
- 3:15Speaker 2: in an interview with The New York Times, Scott Pelly
- 3:19Speaker 2: explained to you why he got fired because this see,
- 3:25Speaker 2: I don't know the correct terminology in the world of psychology, right,
- 3:36Speaker 2: is it cognitive dissonance.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Is that what we're about to hear? What is it projection?
- 3:44Speaker 1: You tell me, what do you hope your departure does.
- 3:50Speaker 1: What do you hope will happen?
- 3:52Speaker 2: Now?
- 3:55Speaker 3: My hope is that the leadership of Paramount we'll say
- 4:01Speaker 3: to themselves, Okay, this isn't working. We have respect to
- 4:05Speaker 3: journalists saying that there is a thumb on the scale
- 4:09Speaker 3: for one political party over another, and there's a subtle
- 4:14Speaker 3: political bias that I've never seen at sixteen months before
- 4:19Speaker 3: or at CBS News before. We can save this. It's
- 4:27Speaker 3: possible to land this plane. But right now CBS News,
- 4:35Speaker 3: in my view, is on fire.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Barry Weise was absolutely right to fire him. I'm sorry
- 4:42Speaker 2: it didn't happen six months ago. You think that now
- 4:49Speaker 2: there's a thumb on the scale now for those of
- 4:56Speaker 2: us who have been the victims, if you will, using
- 5:00Speaker 2: in its most loose and general term of media bias,
- 5:07Speaker 2: this is not only laughable, this is surreal and it
- 5:12Speaker 2: is as perfect a reason to fire Scott Pelley, because
- 5:17Speaker 2: that is to be disconnected from reality, completely disconnected from
- 5:23Speaker 2: reality and from what is true. But let's now go
- 5:27Speaker 2: in a different direction with this. Let us say that
- 5:33Speaker 2: with the Ellisons now owning Paramount and with Barry Weiss
- 5:37Speaker 2: now in charge, and they're going to be more Trump friendly.
- 5:43Speaker 2: I would say two things. First, I want news to
- 5:46Speaker 2: be news. I want commentary to be commentary. Secondly, seems
- 5:51Speaker 2: to work for CNN and MS now going the other way,
- 5:54Speaker 2: So why shouldn't CBS do it?
- 5:56Speaker 1: Do we really need another Fox?
- 5:58Speaker 2: That's the question they're asking over at CBS, do we
- 6:00Speaker 2: really need another Fox? And my answer is, let's find out.
- 6:06Speaker 2: I don't think pushing away from leftism is putting your
- 6:09Speaker 2: thumb on the scale for conservatism. But hey, if that's
- 6:13Speaker 2: the way CBS wants to go and actually put their
- 6:15Speaker 2: thumb on the scale, let's see what happens.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Maybe it'll make them a whole lot of money. Scott
- 6:22Speaker 1: Pelly is not the arbiter.
- 6:26Speaker 2: And I'll say it again, the reason that you don't
- 6:28Speaker 2: have to care about Scott Pelly is that who cares
- 6:30Speaker 2: about Scott Pelly? I don't care if he has a job.
- 6:33Speaker 2: Nothing matters with this guy, and it shouldn't you. But
- 6:39Speaker 2: there are two ways to take this. First is the
- 6:41Speaker 2: laughable construct that Pelly puts together here, which flies in
- 6:46Speaker 2: the face of everything that you see and know. And
- 6:52Speaker 2: then there's the other way to take it, which is, yeah, okay,
- 6:55Speaker 2: they're doing this. It was fine versus CNN. It was
- 6:58Speaker 2: fine for MSNBC, which is now ms Now. If it's
- 7:01Speaker 2: fine for them, it's fine for CBS, it's fine. ABC
- 7:04Speaker 2: has done it with the hiring of George Stephanopoulos. Never
- 7:07Speaker 2: mind everything else they've ever done, They've done it over
- 7:10Speaker 2: their NBC. I'll get into the President Trump walking off
- 7:14Speaker 2: of Christen Welker said on Meet the Press, which Welker deserved,
- 7:19Speaker 2: she deserved. There comes a moment where the interview is done.
- 7:23Speaker 2: You don't understand that the California vote is absolutely being stolen.
- 7:27Speaker 1: What proof do you have. We're watching it happen. That's
- 7:30Speaker 1: the proof. Every day.
- 7:33Speaker 2: It's another batch of votes every day. Well, we can't
- 7:35Speaker 2: count in one day. We need to take our time.
- 7:37Speaker 2: It's allowing votes to show up seven days, ten days
- 7:39Speaker 2: later and still be counted. We're watching the fraud happen
- 7:43Speaker 2: in real time, and people are like, you can't prove
- 7:46Speaker 2: the fraud.
- 7:47Speaker 1: All right, We're done with you. We don't have to
- 7:49Speaker 1: talk to you.
- 7:51Speaker 2: To quote the Jerky Boys, I don't have to talk
- 7:53Speaker 2: to you jerky We move on.
- 7:56Speaker 1: By the way, who had me quoting the Jerky Boys today?
- 7:58Speaker 3: One?
- 7:59Speaker 1: No one. That's what I thought. MATC. Bear has traffic
- 8:02Speaker 1: on the fives and my shoes fell off. What's going on.
