My village at the moment.
Well, here we are on Wednesday, my formal Sabbath day, and I find myself continuing to long for a village.
I’m recording the sky I’m looking at instead of myself, because it’s the village that’s available to me right now: the birds, the trees, the wind. There’s even a little squirrel friend behind the bushes. He’s in my community today.
Last Wednesday I didn’t record a video, because I had the chance to taste a little village life. I spent some time in Florida with my sister and her family. I helped her clean out her closet, and we just did life together for a little while. It was lovely. It…
