- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome to the 96.1 Kiss Morning Freak Show.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Uh-oh.
- 0:05Speaker 1: I got the frowny face on the computer. Oh, that's not.
- 0:07Speaker 3: I just realized that, yeah. The frowny face isn't good.
- 0:10Speaker 3: That's not good.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Are we on? Is the station working right now? Hello?
- 0:14Speaker 3: Yeah, I got frowny face, dude. It never goes frowny face.
- 0:17Speaker 3: When it goes frowny face, something went wrong.
- 0:19Speaker 4: Right?
- 0:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:19Speaker 3: Like our system actually tells us if things are going
- 0:22Speaker 3: bad by either smiley face or frowny face, it is
- 0:25Speaker 3: a yellow face, which now is looking like you might
- 0:28Speaker 3: have a problem. That's the look the yellow face is
- 0:31Speaker 3: giving me. And also there's a blinking red light behind.
- 0:34Speaker 3: You might have a problem. Smiley face.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Yeah. We're at red light.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:39Speaker 3: It's looking at me like something's going wrong. Well, yesterday
- 0:43Speaker 3: we started the show and, uh, You know, we had
- 0:46Speaker 3: some engineering in here doing things with the studio that
- 0:50Speaker 3: we broadcast out of. And yesterday the show started and
- 0:54Speaker 3: our voices were like pitched down. It was really, by
- 0:58Speaker 3: the way, I came in this morning and that's all
- 1:00Speaker 3: the messages were about.
- 1:01Speaker 4: Mikey, Bob.
- 1:02Speaker 5: Yep.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Oh my goodness.
- 1:03Speaker 6: I was just catching up on the podcast on my
- 1:05Speaker 6: way home and I really thought I was losing it for.
- 1:08Speaker 1: The beginning of the show.
- 1:09Speaker 7: I was like, their voices are not right.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Yeah. I was like, slow down. Is this like central
- 1:14Speaker 1: Mikey and Bob?
- 1:15Speaker 7: Is that what's happening? We're pitching it down.
- 1:17Speaker 1: It was.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:18Speaker 8: And then I like, obviously after the first commercial break,
- 1:21Speaker 8: like when you guys came back, explain what happened, but
- 1:23Speaker 8: it really threw me through a loop.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:26Speaker 1: All right. Funny as hell.
- 1:28Speaker 4: Love you guys.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:28Speaker 3: It was a weird start to the show yesterday. So
- 1:30Speaker 3: then I came in here this morning and, um, I
- 1:33Speaker 3: basically I tell our control board, hey, 96 one kiss.
- 1:38Speaker 3: That is what's going to broadcast out of this studio today.
- 1:40Speaker 3: And then I hit this little button and all the
- 1:43Speaker 3: screens in the studio go to 96 one kiss logo.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Right, right.
- 1:47Speaker 3: Yeah, I did that this morning three different times. Every
- 1:50Speaker 3: time I've done it, the penguins logo has come up.
- 1:53Speaker 3: which isn't a big deal, which isn't a big deal.
- 1:58Speaker 3: Usually maybe it's just telling us, Hey, get ready. Penguin
- 2:02Speaker 3: sees around court. But now I'm thinking everything we say
- 2:06Speaker 3: on the show, because we, we are a very video
- 2:08Speaker 3: heavy show. We like to put clips out of our show.
- 2:11Speaker 3: We can't put clips out of our show with the
- 2:13Speaker 3: penguins logo in the back.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Uh, yeah.
- 2:16Speaker 3: And the frowny face is concerning. The frowny face might be.
- 2:19Speaker 3: And that it's flashing red. And the penguin logo might
- 2:22Speaker 3: actually be the least of our worries right now.
- 2:25Speaker 1: All right.
- 2:26Speaker 3: Well, hopefully everybody can hear us, and hopefully we can
- 2:29Speaker 3: stay on the air until 10 a.m.
- 2:30Speaker 1: This morning. It's Mikey and Bob.
- 2:32Speaker 3: 96.1.
- 2:32Speaker 9: Kiss.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Let's get to this message. It's our buddy Bobo the mailman. Morning, boys.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Bobo the mailman here. There he is. I would love
- 2:41Speaker 1: to have one of those ducks, each of those ducks.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Oh, ducks, yeah.
- 2:45Speaker 1: I feel like deviating off the hill and coming down.
- 2:48Speaker 1: On your way home, stop at the post office to
- 2:50Speaker 1: Bobo Jeep. I have a Jeep, too. Oh, he's got
- 2:52Speaker 1: a Jeep?
- 2:53Speaker 2: In the back.
- 2:53Speaker 4: Nice.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Be more happy to duck me. I would love it. Careful.
- 2:58Speaker 4: Have a great day, boys.
- 2:59Speaker 1: All right, Bobo the mailman. All right.
- 3:01Speaker 3: Yeah, thanks again to our friends over at the C.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Harper Auto Group. They made these Mikey and Bob C.
- 3:05Speaker 3: Harper Jeep ducks that we're handing out to people, I guess,
- 3:08Speaker 3: putting them on Jeeps and everything. By the way, I
- 3:11Speaker 3: had a home delivery yesterday.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Nice lady. Three younger girls show up to the house.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Knock.
- 3:20Speaker 1: I'm not there. Got the ring camera. I see they
- 3:24Speaker 1: left something. I get home.
- 3:26Speaker 3: There's four little Jeep ducks sitting there waiting for me.
- 3:30Speaker 3: So her name's Nicole. She lives down the street from me, right?
- 3:33Speaker 3: She brought her three girls over. So I sent her
- 3:35Speaker 3: a message on Instagram. I said, hey, let me walk
- 3:38Speaker 3: back down. I got these C. Harper, Mikey, and Bob
- 3:41Speaker 3: Jeep ducks for you. She said, no, don't worry about it.
- 3:43Speaker 3: I'm coming right back. So her and the girls came
- 3:45Speaker 3: back over, and I gave them each one of our
- 3:46Speaker 3: Jeep ducks. Now, two of the girls picked the cowboy
- 3:50Speaker 3: Jeep duck.
- 3:51Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 3:51Speaker 3: That's like yours with the cowboy hat. And then one
- 3:53Speaker 3: of them wanted like mine, like the purple duck. But, yes,
- 3:56Speaker 3: thank you to Nicole and her girls. You're getting home
- 4:00Speaker 3: deliveries now? I'm getting Jeep ducks just left at my
- 4:04Speaker 3: front door. You know, people in the neighborhood are just
- 4:09Speaker 3: walking Jeep ducks over to me now. So, yes, thank
- 4:13Speaker 3: you to our friends over at the C. Harper Auto Group.
- 4:15Speaker 3: Bobo the mailman, I don't know. Maybe we'll try to
- 4:17Speaker 3: find you. Maybe you'll have a prize on your Jeep
- 4:20Speaker 3: one day. Hey, the Pepsi machine that got stolen up
- 4:23Speaker 3: on Mount Washington, the Phantom Menace machine, it made the
- 4:26Speaker 3: news yesterday. So we'll get into all of this coming
- 4:29Speaker 3: up next here. It's Mikey and Bob.
- 4:30Speaker 10: We'll be right back.
- 4:31Speaker 11: 96.1 KISS.
- 4:31Speaker 1: The Mikey and Bob Podcast. Steelers. Steelers. Okay. I'm okay. Yeah.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Good to go. Steelers, of course, go. No, I'm not. No,
- 4:44Speaker 1: I'm not okay.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Stream the Mikey and Bob podcast on iHeartRadio or wherever
- 4:50Speaker 3: you get your podcasts. Hey, thank you for listening to
- 4:53Speaker 3: our Mikey and Bob podcast. Now, whatever you're listening on,
- 4:58Speaker 3: we appreciate it.
- 4:59Speaker 7: Thank you.
- 5:00Speaker 3: But if you're listening on our free iHeartRadio app, you
- 5:03Speaker 3: can hit that little talkback microphone.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Send us a message. You can send us a message about.
- 5:08Speaker 3: Previous shows, the latest show. something you want us to
- 5:13Speaker 3: cover on the show. Let us know where you're listening
- 5:16Speaker 3: from too.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Oh yeah. That's fun too.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Right.
- 5:18Speaker 1: People in random places. Yeah.
- 5:20Speaker 3: I hit that little talk back microphone and you can
- 5:23Speaker 3: send us a message and maybe you'll make the show. Man,
- 5:28Speaker 3: I wonder what I'm going to be doing tonight. I
- 5:29Speaker 3: don't know what I'm going to be doing later tonight,
- 5:32Speaker 3: this evening. You know, what I'm going to.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh. Stay away. Here we go.
- 5:41Speaker 3: Oh, it's a big one. This is the most important
- 5:42Speaker 3: preseason game, right? The third final one. Is it?
- 5:46Speaker 1: I don't know. I mean, maybe for... Sure. Drew Aller
- 5:49Speaker 1: will hard.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Maybe.
- 5:51Speaker 1: I don't know. Either way.
- 5:54Speaker 3: I like the last preseason game because... There's some dudes
- 5:57Speaker 3: that will never put on a football helmet again that
- 6:00Speaker 3: are just going out there being like, let's make some
- 6:03Speaker 3: car crashes or I'm going to have to sell insurance.
- 6:05Speaker 3: That's why I like it, man. So Steelers out in
- 6:09Speaker 3: Buffalo later tonight. It's Mikey and Bob here on 96.1 KISS. Listen,
- 6:13Speaker 3: the news has started to talk about the stolen Phantom
- 6:17Speaker 3: Menace Pepsi machine that's been up on Mount Washington next
- 6:19Speaker 3: to the fire station since 1999 now. But the news
- 6:23Speaker 3: is so behind on this story. Like, we know who
- 6:27Speaker 3: stole it. The guy told the entire city he was
- 6:31Speaker 3: going to steal it, and he just waited everybody out
- 6:34Speaker 3: for a couple months. The news doesn't even know the story. Like,
- 6:37Speaker 3: they're reporting on it being gone, but they have no
- 6:39Speaker 3: clue or filling anybody in on what may have happened. Like,
- 6:41Speaker 3: we were talking about this two and a half months
- 6:43Speaker 3: ago or whatever on the show. We united the city,
- 6:47Speaker 3: and we got to protect this Pepsi machine, which.
- 6:50Speaker 1: We failed. We did. All right. This is from WPXI.
- 6:54Speaker 12: It's been a hidden gem on Mount Washington for decades.
- 6:56Speaker 12: But some people are saying the Star Wars vending machine
- 6:59Speaker 12: is different now. So the Phantom Menace promotional vending machine
- 7:03Speaker 12: has sat outside Fire Station 27 on Virginia Avenue since 1999.
- 7:08Speaker 12: We spoke with some fans who say this is.
- 7:11Speaker 1: A completely different machine.
- 7:12Speaker 3: All right, now the guy they're going to talk to
- 7:14Speaker 3: is Adam Hames from Millville.
- 7:17Speaker 6: The original here only had nine buttons as opposed to
- 7:20Speaker 6: the ten here.
- 7:20Speaker 1: He knows.
- 7:21Speaker 6: The change interface is different compared to the original.
- 7:25Speaker 1: He knows.
- 7:25Speaker 6: And the change for the quarters on the original is
- 7:29Speaker 6: on the left side as opposed to the right side.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Yeah, this guy knows.
- 7:32Speaker 3: The only problem is, dude, Adam, where were you when
- 7:34Speaker 3: we needed this protected?
- 7:36Speaker 1: Why wasn't he on patrol?
- 7:37Speaker 3: By the way, I got sent a video from a
- 7:39Speaker 3: Mount Washington Facebook group where somebody was driving by it
- 7:42Speaker 3: when they're stealing the thing. Like, I saw it being stolen.
- 7:46Speaker 3: And it's like three guys, and they put, like, protective.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Stuff on the thing.
- 7:51Speaker 3: And somebody's just like, oh, man, they must be working
- 7:54Speaker 3: on it.
- 7:54Speaker 1: It's like, oh, my God. They stole it in broad day.
- 7:57Speaker 11: Nobody stopped this.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Just let it happen. Let it walk away. We do
- 8:03Speaker 3: need to still figure out legally if we can steal
- 8:06Speaker 3: his Pepsi machine now, because that does sound like something
- 8:09Speaker 3: that now needs to happen. If he's going to take ours...
- 8:13Speaker 3: We should take his, right? Yeah, the one he replaced
- 8:16Speaker 3: it with, the hand-painted one.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Hilarious, by the way. And also, we should steal it.
- 8:21Speaker 1: And we should take it. Yeah, we should. I looked
- 8:23Speaker 1: it up yesterday, though. Okay.
- 8:25Speaker 3: I was really putting some brain power into this. Which,
- 8:27Speaker 3: I don't know if you needed to be, but sure. Dude,
- 8:30Speaker 3: it was like, They weigh like 600 to 900 pounds,
- 8:32Speaker 3: depending on what their insides look like.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Yeah. Not loaded with cans or anything. Yeah.
- 8:37Speaker 3: They're that heavy, so I don't know what the hell
- 8:39Speaker 3: we're going to do. Okay, so we're not lifting that.
- 8:40Speaker 3: So we need a crew. We need to assemble a crew.
- 8:43Speaker 3: This is the heist we've been waiting for then, right?
- 8:45Speaker 1: Oh, man. I think so.
- 8:47Speaker 3: Hey, local news, you're so behind on this story. Hope
- 8:49Speaker 3: you show us love when we steal the one that's
- 8:52Speaker 3: up there now.
- 8:52Speaker 10: 96.1 Kids.
- 8:53Speaker 1: The Mikey and Bob Podcast.
- 8:57Speaker 3: Slight chance of rain this morning. Should be pretty nice
- 9:00Speaker 3: the rest of the day, though. Highs in the low 80s.
- 9:02Speaker 3: It's Mikey and Bob here on 96.1 KISS. Buccos lost
- 9:05Speaker 3: yesterday evening out in San Diego, 3-0. They've now been
- 9:09Speaker 3: shut out more than any team in the majors. They're
- 9:12Speaker 3: off today and then three-game series in St.
- 9:14Speaker 13: Louis.
- 9:15Speaker 3: Tomorrow night, Jared Jones will be pitching for the Buccos.
- 9:18Speaker 3: It's Mikey and Bob here on 96.1 KISS. Now, Bob,
- 9:21Speaker 3: do you remember yesterday we were reading from the Pittsburgh
- 9:24Speaker 3: Police scanner yesterday There was an incident at a laundromat.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Where somebody threw a bucket of urine. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 9:33Speaker 2: All right.
- 9:34Speaker 3: Let's get to this talkback message here. Talkback messages on
- 9:37Speaker 3: the show. Again, you can send them through the free
- 9:39Speaker 3: iHeartRadio app brought to us by One Team Media.
- 9:41Speaker 14: Hey, Mikey and Bob.
- 9:42Speaker 1: I got to tell you this story.
- 9:44Speaker 15: The other day, my partner and I were going out
- 9:45Speaker 15: for a romantic date, but we had to swing by
- 9:48Speaker 15: and drop off some laundry first.
- 9:50Speaker 4: You know, the Trey Laundromat in New Brighton.
- 9:52Speaker 13: Oh.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Anyways, when we got there, there was this really angry
- 9:55Speaker 1: guy there.
- 9:56Speaker 16: And all of a sudden, he just dumps this massive
- 9:59Speaker 16: bucket of pee everywhere. It was huge.
- 10:02Speaker 1: He must have been saving up. You're lying. Anyways, after
- 10:04Speaker 1: that trauma, I think I deserve Bruno Mars tickets. Oh,
- 10:07Speaker 1: come on. All that for Bruno. No, it's not.
- 10:10Speaker 11: No, I don't even.
- 10:12Speaker 3: Know if she's telling the truth now, or she just
- 10:14Speaker 3: wants to go see Bruno Mars Saturday night at Accra.
- 10:16Speaker 17: Sure.
- 10:16Speaker 1: I'm not sure.
- 10:17Speaker 3: She seemed too upbeat for that to be true. I
- 10:21Speaker 3: would imagine a full bucket of pee you would react
- 10:24Speaker 3: differently and wouldn't tell the story all up, beat and bubbly.
- 10:26Speaker 1: See, I don't know, though.
- 10:28Speaker 3: Telling it to your partner, telling it to other family members, yes,
- 10:31Speaker 3: but you're telling it to your weird uncles, Mikey and Bob.
- 10:34Speaker 3: You might be a little excited to be like, how
- 10:36Speaker 3: was there when the guy threw a bucket of pee
- 10:38Speaker 3: at the laundromat? Where's my Bruno Mars tickets?
- 10:41Speaker 1: No Bruno Mars tickets for you for that. Sorry. Can't
- 10:44Speaker 1: do that.
- 10:46Speaker 3: By the way, Bob, let's get to what's happening on
- 10:49Speaker 3: the Pittsburgh police scanner. Again, it's just a couple of people.
- 10:52Speaker 3: They do a great job. They got their own website, pgh-scanner.com.
- 10:56Speaker 3: You can follow them on all their socials. It's time
- 10:58Speaker 3: to find out what's happening in and around our city.
- 11:02Speaker 1: We're downtown. Okay. We're on Pen Ave.
- 11:04Speaker 2: All right.
- 11:04Speaker 1: We're at Meat and Potatoes.
- 11:05Speaker 7: All right.
- 11:06Speaker 3: Caller said a woman's walking around Meat and Potatoes showing
- 11:10Speaker 3: off her Meat and Potatoes.
- 11:12Speaker 1: No. There's no need for that.
- 11:14Speaker 3: No, we don't need it. Meat and Potatoes out at
- 11:21Speaker 3: Meat and Potatoes. It's a wild move. Ma'am, it's just
- 11:25Speaker 3: the name of the restaurant.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Put it away. Does it mean we need to see
- 11:29Speaker 1: it to serve it?
- 11:30Speaker 4: Okay.
- 11:31Speaker 3: Put your taters away, ma'am. We don't need to see
- 11:37Speaker 3: your meat, ma'am.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Okay.
- 11:41Speaker 3: Hey, ma'am, you think everybody's at meat and potatoes to
- 11:45Speaker 3: see your meat and potatoes?
- 11:47Speaker 11: Uh-uh, ma'am. Put them away.
- 11:51Speaker 1: So, obviously, somebody called the cops.
- 11:53Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 11:54Speaker 1: You drink too much, and then you're either way. Clothes
- 11:57Speaker 1: come off. Meat and potatoes. Meat and potatoes. That's what's
- 12:00Speaker 1: happening in and around our city.
- 12:04Speaker 18: Ding!
- 12:07Speaker 3: Hey, if you got something nice to say that could
- 12:09Speaker 3: maybe just turn somebody's day around, get some positivity on
- 12:12Speaker 3: the show, get on our free iHeartRadio app, send us
- 12:14Speaker 3: a say something nice message.
- 12:15Speaker 1: Everybody who does this week is qualified.
- 12:18Speaker 3: We've already given away a few hundred dollar gift cards
- 12:22Speaker 3: to our friends at Gecko. So, you know, I mean,
- 12:24Speaker 3: Labor Day is going to be coming up next week.
- 12:26Speaker 3: You're going out of town, fuel up at Gecko. They
- 12:29Speaker 3: got all the drinks, all the snacks, all the made
- 12:31Speaker 3: to order food. Is that next weekend?
- 12:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 12:33Speaker 4: Are we in it?
- 12:34Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
- 12:35Speaker 2: All right.
- 12:35Speaker 1: Okay. Oh, boy.
- 12:37Speaker 19: Uh-oh.
- 12:37Speaker 4: Watch out.
- 12:37Speaker 1: We're a couple days away from somebody's birthday.
- 12:41Speaker 2: For real?
- 12:42Speaker 1: Not yours.
- 12:42Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 12:43Speaker 1: September 3rd' s my birthday. That's next Thursday? A week away?
- 12:46Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 12:47Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 12:47Speaker 1: We're a week away. Let's get to a talkback message.
- 12:49Speaker 1: It's our buddy, George.
- 12:50Speaker 20: Hey, what's going on, fellas? George here, catching up on
- 12:52Speaker 20: Wednesday morning's podcast still. Hey, man, if y'all serious about
- 12:57Speaker 20: this whole vending machine thing.
- 12:59Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 13:00Speaker 20: I drive a box truck with a lift gate, dude.
- 13:03Speaker 20: Just say the word, man. Y'all take it easy.
- 13:06Speaker 1: I love that we got some listeners that are down
- 13:08Speaker 1: to ride. Wait, it's got the automatic lift gate? So
- 13:12Speaker 1: we just got to get it to the curb or whatever? Yeah,
- 13:15Speaker 1: and then lift it right up there.
- 13:17Speaker 3: So we really could go take that other Pepsi machine
- 13:19Speaker 3: if we wanted to. But see, I still think the
- 13:22Speaker 3: Pepsi machine, the Phantom Menace one up on Mount Washington,
- 13:25Speaker 3: I think the replaced one with the cartoon.
- 13:28Speaker 1: It's kind of cool, too, though.
- 13:30Speaker 3: I don't want to take it, but then again, if
- 13:33Speaker 3: we do take it, maybe the other guy will be like,
- 13:35Speaker 3: all right.
- 13:35Speaker 1: I'll bring the other one back. I want the old
- 13:37Speaker 1: one back, just because the old one was special, obviously.
- 13:40Speaker 1: I know.
- 13:41Speaker 3: The new one, though, the painted one, is cool. It's
- 13:44Speaker 3: pretty awesome. Let's all be honest. It's not bad.
- 13:47Speaker 1: I want the painted one for our studio in here. Yeah. Well,
- 13:50Speaker 1: let's go steal it after the show, then.
- 13:53Speaker 3: I'm telling you, man, we got to get in touch
- 13:55Speaker 3: with our lawyer friends at Edgar Snyder and Associates. Legally,
- 14:01Speaker 3: what trouble could we get in if we get a
- 14:03Speaker 3: team together and go steal? I'm paying it over 1999
- 14:08Speaker 3: Star Wars Phantom Menace. I don't want to be the
- 14:11Speaker 3: bad guys, though, because then if we take it, then
- 14:14Speaker 3: people will be like, well, where'd it go?
- 14:16Speaker 1: Where'd the other one go?
- 14:17Speaker 3: Be like, well, we got it because it was just junk.
- 14:20Speaker 1: All right. Well, we'll see how this plays out. We'll
- 14:23Speaker 1: figure it's not off the table, though. All right.
- 14:24Speaker 3: Right around seven o'clock. It's time to get to today
- 14:28Speaker 3: in freak show history. This is where we take you
- 14:30Speaker 3: back to a moment in the show that made us laugh,
- 14:33Speaker 3: made us smile. We got a request here for today
- 14:37Speaker 3: in Freak Show history. So let's get to this message.
- 14:41Speaker 3: The guy who.
- 14:42Speaker 8: Just called in, Bobo the Mailman, you know what it
- 14:44Speaker 8: made me think about?
- 14:45Speaker 15: Years and years ago when you guys did those skits
- 14:49Speaker 15: on the office ladies where you would.
- 14:51Speaker 7: Type their conversation into a voice changer.
- 14:55Speaker 8: And then the mailman would comment at the end and.
- 14:56Speaker 7: Always give a piece of advice.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Yeah, hey.
- 14:58Speaker 7: And I just started giggling and thinking about those old skits.
- 15:02Speaker 7: Maybe we can get a flashback of one of them.
- 15:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:05Speaker 18: Have a good day, guys.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Bye. I don't know.
- 15:07Speaker 3: I mean, a lot of when we did the Office Monkeys,
- 15:09Speaker 3: me and Bob would just type back and forth, try
- 15:11Speaker 3: to make each other laugh in monkey voices.
- 15:13Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 15:13Speaker 3: It was a weird computer program we had, all that stuff.
- 15:16Speaker 3: A lot of them were very specific for holidays.
- 15:19Speaker 1: And things like that. But hold on.
- 15:20Speaker 3: Let me get an old Office Monkeys here real quick
- 15:23Speaker 3: for Freak Show History.
- 15:25Speaker 1: Today in Freak Show History.
- 15:27Speaker 11: Today in Freak Show History.
- 15:35Speaker 3: All right this one is office monkeys where we typed
- 15:37Speaker 3: back and forth as barb and mary and and hank
- 15:41Speaker 3: the mailman this is for barb's 47th birthday here let
- 15:44Speaker 3: me uh let me just get that one safe i
- 15:46Speaker 3: think years ago right oh yeah it's pretty old yeah.
- 15:51Speaker 11: Good morning, Barb.
- 15:52Speaker 16: Today is such a special day in the office because
- 15:55Speaker 16: it's your 47th birthday celebration. I have taken the liberty
- 15:59Speaker 16: to rent out the fourth floor conference room from noon
- 16:02Speaker 16: to 1.30 today so we can do it real big.
- 16:05Speaker 16: Barb's birthday celebration is going to be on some real P.
- 16:08Speaker 18: Diddy s * * *, baby.
- 16:09Speaker 3: Alright, well, this is why we don't play old stuff
- 16:12Speaker 3: on the show. This is why anything that's older than
- 16:17Speaker 3: a couple years ain't going to make it.
- 16:18Speaker 1: No, we're not doing that anymore. We're not doing that anymore.
- 16:24Speaker 3: Hey, I bet Barb had an interesting 47th birthday party, though, man.
- 16:28Speaker 1: My gosh. At work on the fourth floor.
- 16:30Speaker 13: Jeez.
- 16:30Speaker 1: All right.
- 16:32Speaker 3: Had to throw the flag on ourselves there. Let me
- 16:34Speaker 3: just go ahead and hit the delete button. We will
- 16:38Speaker 3: never hear that again ever in the history of the show.
- 16:41Speaker 1: All right.
- 16:41Speaker 3: We'll do a round to say something nice coming up
- 16:43Speaker 3: next here.
- 16:44Speaker 1: It's Mikey and Bob.
- 16:46Speaker 3: Steelers tonight in Buffalo, which means tomorrow morning on the show.
- 16:52Speaker 1: I'm sure we'll hear from head coach Mike McCarthy. He'll
- 16:54Speaker 1: be meowing.
- 16:55Speaker 3: But also, oh, we'll get around to preseason Steelers Facebook comments.
- 16:59Speaker 3: Those are great, man. We'll do that tomorrow on the show.
- 17:02Speaker 3: You see the end of the Pro Bowl, like the
- 17:04Speaker 3: actual game? That's about time. Yeah.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Wasn't it just flag football?
- 17:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Nah, they were doing like.
- 17:13Speaker 3: Challenges is that what it was things like yeah it's
- 17:15Speaker 3: been bad for a while now they're just done with
- 17:18Speaker 3: it so no pro bowl this year they still announce
- 17:20Speaker 3: the pro bowlers because there's like incentives and people's contracts
- 17:23Speaker 3: and everything but you know uh last few years it
- 17:26Speaker 3: hasn't been a big deal to be a pro bowler
- 17:28Speaker 3: because then people would just drop out of the game.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Be like nah i'm not playing in that and then they'd.
- 17:32Speaker 3: Be like all right well this guy's a pro bowler
- 17:34Speaker 3: now and then you'd get like uh a third string
- 17:36Speaker 3: quarterback that was randomly a pro bowler because nobody would,
- 17:40Speaker 3: nobody really wanted to play. Wasn't should Derek Sanders, the
- 17:43Speaker 3: Cleveland backup quarterback, the, the pro bowl, like quarterback last year,
- 17:48Speaker 3: whoever was available in a notable name. So yeah, pro
- 17:51Speaker 3: bowl's over, but we'll still name the pro bowlers. It's
- 17:55Speaker 3: Mikey and Bob here on 96.1 KISS. All this week,
- 17:58Speaker 3: if you send us a Say Something Nice message through
- 18:00Speaker 3: the free iHeartRadio app, we're just going to randomly give
- 18:04Speaker 3: out $ 100 GetGo gift cards to people because, listen, you
- 18:07Speaker 3: bring positivity to us. We're going to try to bring
- 18:10Speaker 3: some positivity right back to you. And we got Labor
- 18:13Speaker 3: Day coming up next weekend. Some people might be going
- 18:16Speaker 3: out of town.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Fuel up.
- 18:17Speaker 3: Get all your snacks and drinks at GetGo. Bob, it's
- 18:21Speaker 3: time to say something nice.
- 18:25Speaker 11: Say something nice. Say something nice.
- 18:28Speaker 1: It's Larry.
- 18:29Speaker 13: Mike.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Big Bob.
- 18:30Speaker 21: It's your boy, Little Larry from Little Washington. Say something nice.
- 18:35Speaker 21: Say something nice.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Oh, I kind of like.
- 18:39Speaker 10: It.
- 18:41Speaker 11: Say something nice. Say something nice.
- 18:43Speaker 21: Hey, I just want to give a shout out to
- 18:45Speaker 21: all the teachers, whether it's from the classroom or it's
- 18:48Speaker 21: from your house or you're teaching your kids.
- 18:50Speaker 1: We just want you.
- 18:51Speaker 21: to know you're are appreciated you're not unnoticed and we
- 18:54Speaker 21: really really thank you for the time that you're giving
- 18:57Speaker 21: wow oh by the way happy birthday big boy.
- 19:00Speaker 3: Uh you had me up until the birthday there larry
- 19:03Speaker 3: because birthday is uh it's new year's day it's not
- 19:06Speaker 3: today say something nice say something nice.
- 19:13Speaker 14: Say something nice say something now it's sad Say something nice.
- 19:18Speaker 1: Say something nice.
- 19:20Speaker 8: I would like to shout out to all the Mike
- 19:23Speaker 8: and Bob listeners.
- 19:25Speaker 1: You guys are the best.
- 19:25Speaker 3: Yeah, she was making bird noises there. That's teacher friend Becca.
- 19:33Speaker 11: Say something nice. Say something nice.
- 19:36Speaker 7: Hey boys, mashed potato ravioli lady here.
- 19:38Speaker 10: I wanted to do a.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Say something nice.
- 19:41Speaker 11: Say something nice.
- 19:43Speaker 1: Oh, okay. Say something nice. Say something nice.
- 19:49Speaker 11: Say something nice.
- 19:50Speaker 17: Nice to the gentleman that does the 12 days of
- 19:53Speaker 17: mikey and bob.
- 19:54Speaker 3: Oh man what uh what a pull here yeah there's
- 19:57Speaker 3: a guy every year for like i don't know past
- 19:59Speaker 3: decade he uh every holiday season he does it 12
- 20:03Speaker 3: days of mikey and bob's mark right Yeah, Mark, with
- 20:05Speaker 3: things that are notable from our show, like Jeep Ducks
- 20:11Speaker 3: might be on this year's 12 Days of Mikey and Bob.
- 20:13Speaker 1: Wow, a shout-out at the end of August for him.
- 20:16Speaker 22: For some reason, I was thinking about him the other day,
- 20:18Speaker 22: and I'm really excited to hear what he has to
- 20:20Speaker 22: offer us this year.
- 20:22Speaker 3: I'm really hoping for a... You know, and five Mike
- 20:26Speaker 3: McCarthy meows. Oh.
- 20:29Speaker 7: Along with some other things.
- 20:30Speaker 1: I'm super, super pumped.
- 20:31Speaker 2: Wow.
- 20:31Speaker 6: That's it.
- 20:32Speaker 11: Love you. Okay. Say something nice.
- 20:38Speaker 1: Say something nice.
- 20:39Speaker 3: Five Mike McCarthy meows would be pretty good.
- 20:43Speaker 1: It would.
- 20:43Speaker 13: It would.
- 20:44Speaker 3: As we know, Mike McCarthy is a super yinzer, and
- 20:46Speaker 3: when he says, you know, it sounds like a meow.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Meow, meow, meow.
- 20:49Speaker 23: <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL>
- 20:57Speaker 23: Can't wait.
- 20:58Speaker 3: Steelers tonight in Buffalo. Facebook comments on the show tomorrow.
- 21:02Speaker 1: 96.1. Let's get to this talkback message brought to us
- 21:07Speaker 1: by The Pavement Group.
- 21:08Speaker 9: Hey, guys.
- 21:08Speaker 12: So I'm finishing up Wednesday's podcast, and you're talking about, like,
- 21:11Speaker 12: the iHeart show, and, like, you.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Started singing, like, the Sierra songs and stuff.
- 21:15Speaker 3: Yeah, Sierra is playing her iHeartRadio music festival now, too.
- 21:19Speaker 3: I mean, just a bunch of artists, BTS and Cardi B,
- 21:22Speaker 3: Benson Boone, Snoop Dogg, and Zara Larson, and a lot more.
- 21:27Speaker 1: That's coming up in a couple weeks out in Vegas, yeah.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Excuse me.
- 21:30Speaker 6: And then all of a sudden it dawned on me, like,
- 21:34Speaker 6: I blocked it out of my brain, traumatic episode or something.
- 21:38Speaker 1: Frickin' Russell Wilson used to be our quarterback. I completely forgot. Oh,
- 21:42Speaker 1: my God.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:43Speaker 17: Love you guys.
- 21:43Speaker 3: What a time that was. I kind of forgot that, too.
- 21:46Speaker 3: Wild time. I saw a graphic yesterday that was the
- 21:50Speaker 3: Steelers starting quarterback every season since Ben.
- 21:54Speaker 1: Yeah. It'll work. It's not a great– No, we haven't
- 21:57Speaker 1: figured it out yet.
- 21:58Speaker 2: No, no.
- 21:58Speaker 3: It's not great. There's a Justin Fields year in there,
- 22:01Speaker 3: you know. It's– Fields and Wilson were the same year.
- 22:05Speaker 3: They just traded back and forth, right? Yeah, I think
- 22:08Speaker 3: there was one year where Dennis Dixon started. It was
- 22:12Speaker 3: a weird graphic I saw.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Where did Dennis Dixon start? Yeah, I think so. It's
- 22:16Speaker 1: Mikey and Bob here on 96.1 KISS.
- 22:18Speaker 3: Now, a lot of people in the city are buzzing
- 22:21Speaker 3: about the stolen Star Wars Pepsi vending machine up on
- 22:25Speaker 3: Mount Washington. The Phantom Menace one that's been there since 1999. Now,
- 22:29Speaker 3: we covered this a couple months ago on the show.
- 22:32Speaker 3: There's a guy online. He's got a million followers. He
- 22:34Speaker 3: likes to steal big things that aren't stealable. His name's
- 22:38Speaker 3: Braden Days. Talked about this on the show. The guy
- 22:41Speaker 3: stole the Phantom Menace machine.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Well, how do you know that? He sent me a picture.
- 22:47Speaker 2: Yeah, Mike.
- 22:48Speaker 1: He sent me a picture. Mike saw through. We know
- 22:50Speaker 1: who stole it. But he replaced it.
- 22:54Speaker 3: With another vending machine that he painted the Phantom Menace
- 22:58Speaker 3: graphic on.
- 23:00Speaker 1: So now we're.
- 23:01Speaker 3: Thinking, well, if he just set that vending machine there,
- 23:06Speaker 3: it's not like... I mean, he owns it kind of,
- 23:09Speaker 3: but he just left it on the street. It's not working. Like,
- 23:12Speaker 3: it's not functional.
- 23:13Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Should we just go take it back? I don't know.
- 23:16Speaker 3: So maybe we're assembling a crew here. I'm not saying
- 23:20Speaker 3: we are, but maybe we are. All right, let's get
- 23:22Speaker 3: to this.
- 23:22Speaker 1: Yo, Mikey and Bob. Yeah. I don't understand.
- 23:27Speaker 18: How this guy can just take things and get away
- 23:31Speaker 18: with it legally. Maybe it's a blind spot for me.
- 23:34Speaker 3: Hey, listen, I reached out to Edgar Snyder Associates. We
- 23:36Speaker 3: got to figure out the legalities of what happened here.
- 23:39Speaker 3: Because in my mind, the one that he left behind
- 23:42Speaker 3: is leaving trash on the curb. Well, yeah, because that
- 23:45Speaker 3: one doesn't belong to the fire station right there or anything.
- 23:49Speaker 3: like that like he stole the one that own was
- 23:52Speaker 3: owned by someone else but his don't care about yours
- 23:56Speaker 3: bud we'll just take that is.
- 23:57Speaker 18: It do you only get fined and is he making
- 24:00Speaker 18: enough money from these videos to pay for the fines
- 24:02Speaker 18: and not care like or eventually are you gonna get
- 24:05Speaker 18: arrested i mean he's filming yeah his video proof of
- 24:09Speaker 18: himself doing yeah see.
- 24:10Speaker 3: And then the problem is he's gonna put the video
- 24:13Speaker 3: out of how he pulled it off and then everybody's
- 24:14Speaker 3: gonna share the video and it's gonna get like two
- 24:16Speaker 3: million views and then he's gonna get money off of
- 24:19Speaker 3: that and Yeah, I mean, the video's going to be great,
- 24:21Speaker 3: how he pulled it off, because in my head, it's
- 24:24Speaker 3: impossible almost.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Yeah, it's going to be a good video. All right,
- 24:28Speaker 1: let's get to another message here.
- 24:29Speaker 14: Good morning, Mikey and Bob. It's a toilet T-Rex.
- 24:32Speaker 1: Hey, toilet T-Rex!
- 24:33Speaker 14: I would like to be a part of the Pepsi
- 24:35Speaker 14: vending machine heist.
- 24:36Speaker 1: Okay, all right. I don't know if we should be
- 24:38Speaker 1: doing the show on this now.
- 24:39Speaker 14: I don't know what I could do, because... Racking Tim
- 24:43Speaker 14: has to be the getaway driver.
- 24:44Speaker 3: Yeah, well, I think we've established that before when we
- 24:47Speaker 3: were thinking about stealing the giant inflatable rubber duck from Idlewild,
- 24:50Speaker 3: you know, a couple summers ago.
- 24:52Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah.
- 24:52Speaker 14: But this is similar to when we were playing the
- 24:54Speaker 14: 40-foot duck hike from Idlewild.
- 24:56Speaker 1: Yeah, same thing.
- 24:57Speaker 14: Love you and have a good day. Bye-bye.
- 25:00Speaker 3: Yeah, we were joking about stealing the rubber duck. Not
- 25:03Speaker 3: sure if we're joking about the Pepsi machine here.
- 25:05Speaker 1: I mean, George, you know.
- 25:07Speaker 3: Long-time listener of our show, the Y'all Take It Easy guy,
- 25:09Speaker 3: he has a box truck for us.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, George sent us a message.
- 25:12Speaker 11: He's ready to ride.
- 25:13Speaker 20: Hey, what's going on, fellas? George here, catching up on
- 25:15Speaker 20: Wednesday morning's podcast still. Hey, man, if y'all serious about
- 25:20Speaker 20: this whole vending machine thing, I'd drive a box truck
- 25:23Speaker 20: with a lift gate, dude.
- 25:25Speaker 4: Just say the word, man.
- 25:28Speaker 2: Y'all take it easy.
- 25:29Speaker 1: I'm telling you, man. George is ready to ride.
- 25:32Speaker 3: We've got to figure out legally how much trouble we
- 25:34Speaker 3: can all get in. George might not be worried about
- 25:39Speaker 3: going to jail, but I'd feel bad if we all
- 25:41Speaker 3: got arrested. We can't be planning felonies out on this show.
- 25:45Speaker 3: I don't think we can. What if we put Toilet
- 25:48Speaker 3: T-Rex in one of those inflatable child T-Rex costumes? It's
- 25:52Speaker 3: just like a distraction piece, just in case things got
- 25:54Speaker 3: hairy out there. Okay, now we're starting to think of
- 25:58Speaker 3: some good ideas here. We got to figure out if
- 26:03Speaker 3: legally this is a thing. Because we can't be planning
- 26:09Speaker 3: out heists like this on the show. Let me tell you,
- 26:11Speaker 3: we were joking about the rubber duck at Idlewild, though.
- 26:14Speaker 3: I'm not so sure we're joking about the Pepsi machine.
- 26:17Speaker 1: We might end up with this.
- 26:22Speaker 3: Bruno Mars is going to be one of the biggest
- 26:24Speaker 3: shows of the year. It's happening Saturday at Accrisher. It's
- 26:29Speaker 3: Mikey and Bob here on 96.1 KISS. If you miss
- 26:32Speaker 3: any live show, get our Mikey and Bob podcast brought
- 26:36Speaker 3: to us by the C.
- 26:37Speaker 1: Harper Auto Group.
- 26:38Speaker 3: Also, C. Harper gave us vehicles to drive around. Bob's
- 26:42Speaker 3: in a white Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie. I'm in a
- 26:46Speaker 3: purple Jeep Gladiator, and we got Jeep ducks.
- 26:49Speaker 1: We do got ducks. So if you see us out, if.
- 26:52Speaker 3: You're driving a Jeep, we'll have a Mikey and Bob C.
- 26:55Speaker 3: Harper Jeep duck for you. Now, new music usually comes
- 27:01Speaker 3: out on Fridays. There was a report that Bob found.
- 27:05Speaker 3: This is from the ABC station out in L.A., And
- 27:08Speaker 3: this is just one of those stories that the news
- 27:11Speaker 3: like teases and goes, could new music lead to more death?
- 27:18Speaker 1: Is new music killing people?
- 27:20Speaker 2: Right.
- 27:20Speaker 3: And then this is the story. Like, you got to
- 27:25Speaker 3: watch the news and start like. Thinking for yourself and going, wait,
- 27:29Speaker 3: wait a minute, this can't be a real thing, right?
- 27:32Speaker 19: New album releases are a huge driver for the music industry,
- 27:35Speaker 19: but be careful driving while jamming to your favorite artists.
- 27:38Speaker 1: Be careful driving while jamming. No self-cultivation. Oh, my God,
- 27:43Speaker 1: I am no self-cultivation. I'm listening to my favorite artists.
- 27:47Speaker 11: I'm jamming so hard to new music. I'm going to
- 27:50Speaker 11: hit the railing.
- 27:51Speaker 1: Why?
- 27:52Speaker 11: Favorite artists.
- 27:53Speaker 19: A new study shows traffic deaths surge up to 15%
- 27:57Speaker 19: on days major.
- 27:58Speaker 1: Albums are released.
- 27:59Speaker 3: Okay, now hold on. This is why I'm going to
- 28:01Speaker 3: tell you this is all BS, right? New music drops
- 28:04Speaker 3: on Friday. Traffic accidents, whatever, increased 15%. they don't realize
- 28:11Speaker 3: that it's friday oh there's also yeah more people traveling
- 28:14Speaker 3: on a friday yeah like not morning commute but more
- 28:17Speaker 3: people like going away for the weekend on the roads
- 28:19Speaker 3: like traveling longer distances it's so stupid they're not jamming
- 28:24Speaker 3: so much right just.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Oh my god i jammed to death Okay, but listen,
- 28:29Speaker 1: because they're going to call out some artists here.
- 28:31Speaker 19: Researchers looked at U.S. traffic fatalities on top music streaming
- 28:35Speaker 19: days from 2017 to 2022.
- 28:37Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's.
- 28:38Speaker 3: Just like seeing traffic deaths increase 15% on Fridays. And
- 28:43Speaker 3: then how do you equate that to just new music?
- 28:45Speaker 3: Because new music comes out. It must be the music.
- 28:47Speaker 19: The data showed a spike in deadly crashes when artists
- 28:50Speaker 19: such as Taylor Swift.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Oh, my God. Taylor Swift did it.
- 28:54Speaker 3: Gee, I'm not safe for another Taylor album to drop here. Drake.
- 28:58Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 28:59Speaker 11: And he dropped three last time?
- 29:01Speaker 1: Oh, no.
- 29:02Speaker 11: How did we survive?
- 29:03Speaker 19: Bad Bunny and Kendrick.
- 29:04Speaker 1: Lamar dropped new albums.
- 29:06Speaker 11: Geez.
- 29:07Speaker 19: The author notes tens of millions of people reach for
- 29:09Speaker 19: their phones to stream.
- 29:10Speaker 1: Those big releases. Yeah, but also it's Fridays.
- 29:12Speaker 19: The spike was more pronounced for young drivers, sober drivers,
- 29:16Speaker 19: and drivers.
- 29:17Speaker 1: We're alone in the car.
- 29:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:19Speaker 3: Sometimes you just got to watch something like that on
- 29:20Speaker 3: the news and go, man, Taylor, Drake and Kendrick and
- 29:24Speaker 3: Bad Bunny blood on your hand.
- 29:27Speaker 13: Really?
- 29:27Speaker 3: A study was done over years and said, yeah, accidents
- 29:31Speaker 3: are 15 percent more when new music comes out. But
- 29:33Speaker 3: then you think, oh, new music comes out on Fridays.
- 29:36Speaker 3: So really, they're only saying, well, yeah, there's more traffic accidents.
- 29:40Speaker 3: on Fridays than there are any other days. If Taylor
- 29:42Speaker 3: drops a surprise album, we might have to get a
- 29:44Speaker 3: car service back and forth to work for at least
- 29:46Speaker 3: a week or two.
- 29:47Speaker 11: I will drive full blast off a cliff!
- 29:52Speaker 3: If you miss any of the live show, you can
- 29:54Speaker 3: always get caught up with our Mikey and Bob podcast
- 29:56Speaker 3: on the free iHeartRadio app brought to us by the C.
- 29:58Speaker 1: Harper Auto Group. Let's get to another talkback message here.
- 30:01Speaker 22: I'm listening to the podcast from yesterday. And, you know,
- 30:04Speaker 22: you guys, you guys gave me a run for my
- 30:07Speaker 22: money there. I'm a teacher. It's my first week back.
- 30:10Speaker 22: Fourth day driving into work. And Dolly Parton died.
- 30:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 30:15Speaker 22: Tim Curry died.
- 30:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:16Speaker 22: And you guys sounded like you were insane. I was
- 30:20Speaker 22: about to just break down in tears. I was like,
- 30:22Speaker 22: I can't do this.
- 30:23Speaker 10: Sorry.
- 30:23Speaker 22: And then it got fixed. Thank God. All right. Have
- 30:26Speaker 22: a good day. Happy birthday, Bob.
- 30:27Speaker 3: Not Bob's birthday today. That's New Year's Day.
- 30:29Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 30:30Speaker 3: Yeah, yesterday, the start of our show or our podcast
- 30:33Speaker 3: was weird. We had no idea why it happened, but
- 30:36Speaker 3: our voices were slowed down like we used to do
- 30:39Speaker 3: with Coach Tomlin. It made us sound very sensual. Something
- 30:43Speaker 3: glitched in the system. We don't know how it happened,
- 30:45Speaker 3: but it was only for one segment, and then we
- 30:47Speaker 3: got the show back together. But here, this is what
- 30:50Speaker 3: it sounds like. Bob, what are you looking at over
- 30:53Speaker 3: there on Facebook Marketplace?
- 30:54Speaker 2: Right now?
- 30:55Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 30:56Speaker 2: A six-foot-tall Steeler's Nutcracker. Okay, where is there a... I've
- 31:03Speaker 2: seen Steeler's Nutcrackers before, but a six-foot-tall Steeler's Nutcracker? You've
- 31:09Speaker 2: never seen a Nutcracker like this, bud. Oh, my God.
- 31:14Speaker 2: Cracking nuts for the black and gold. Elwood City. Oh,
- 31:19Speaker 2: my gosh.
- 31:20Speaker 10: Yes.
- 31:20Speaker 1: Hand-painted. Ugh.
- 31:23Speaker 2: Six foot tall. Does this look like it's team licensed
- 31:27Speaker 2: or does this look like it's handcrafted?
- 31:31Speaker 1: Absolutely not team licensed. Oh, man.
- 31:34Speaker 2: I don't even know.
- 31:35Speaker 1: I guess you put this on your porch.
- 31:37Speaker 2: It don't matter where you put it. You put it
- 31:39Speaker 2: up on top of the roof like it's a weather vane, man.
- 31:43Speaker 1: A six foot tall nutcracker? Oh, my gosh. To greet
- 31:47Speaker 1: the neighborhood?
- 31:48Speaker 18: Yeah.
- 31:48Speaker 1: Dude, it's got to be dazzled football by its feet.
- 31:52Speaker 2: Are you kidding me?
- 31:53Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 31:53Speaker 2: Does it have the Nutcracker face or does it have
- 31:57Speaker 2: like Coach Cower's face or like Steely McBean's face? It's
- 32:02Speaker 2: got the Nutcracker face. It's got a big bushy stash.
- 32:06Speaker 1: How much?
- 32:08Speaker 2: Well, it's hand painted, so it's, yeah, it's art. This
- 32:11Speaker 2: is beautiful. Six foot tall. What do you think? 200 bucks. 275.
- 32:18Speaker 1: I was close. I was in the ballpark.
- 32:20Speaker 2: It's down, though. They marked it down, okay? I bet
- 32:23Speaker 2: we could get it for 200 if we offered it
- 32:26Speaker 2: to Elwood City.
- 32:27Speaker 1: It started at 350.
- 32:29Speaker 2: I love the Steelers, and I'm looking for a place
- 32:33Speaker 2: to stick my nuts.
- 32:37Speaker 1: See, it's kind of funny when we change our voice,
- 32:39Speaker 1: isn't it?
- 32:44Speaker 3: We got today's weird Florida story coming up next here
- 32:47Speaker 3: in a minute. First, let's get to another talkback message
- 32:49Speaker 3: here on 96.1 Kiss. It is Mikey and Bob. Talkback
- 32:51Speaker 3: messages brought to us by The Pavement Group.
- 32:54Speaker 1: Honestly, I don't know what's worse.
- 32:57Speaker 19: The fact that we lost Dolly Parton and we lost
- 32:59Speaker 19: Tim Curry.
- 33:00Speaker 1: Yeah, it hurts.
- 33:01Speaker 10: And then we lost the vending machine.
- 33:04Speaker 1: Yeah, it's... Horrific week.
- 33:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:06Speaker 7: Horrific week.
- 33:07Speaker 1: Horrific. That's all you can say. It's a lot. Two
- 33:11Speaker 1: wonderful humans, right?
- 33:13Speaker 3: A lot of people loved and respected Dolly Parton and
- 33:16Speaker 3: Tim Curry. And then the vending machine, the Star Wars
- 33:19Speaker 3: one that's been on Mount Washington since 1999.
- 33:21Speaker 1: It's gone. Somebody stole it. Phantom Menace machine. We know
- 33:25Speaker 1: who stole it. Nobody's doing anything about it.
- 33:28Speaker 3: By the way, we will have a legal update coming
- 33:30Speaker 3: up around 825. Not on whether he did anything by
- 33:37Speaker 3: stealing the Phantom Menace, but Will we possibly be committing
- 33:41Speaker 3: a crime if we go steal his vending machine?
- 33:44Speaker 1: Yeah. The painted one that he put out there.
- 33:47Speaker 3: So we will get to that coming up next here
- 33:50Speaker 3: on the show around 825. Right now, though, Bob, time
- 33:53Speaker 3: to go down to Florida. Always weird things happening down
- 33:56Speaker 3: in the state of Florida. It's time for another Florida story.
- 33:58Speaker 1: Here we go!
- 34:00Speaker 3: Attention it's time to travel to the sunshine state yes
- 34:06Speaker 3: it happened again.
- 34:07Speaker 1: It's another florida story.
- 34:09Speaker 3: All right down to florida we go uh florida deputy
- 34:11Speaker 3: arrested a man after uh.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Stopping him on a red riding lawnmower yep i'll cruise
- 34:18Speaker 1: down the lawnmower again.
- 34:20Speaker 3: Yep a uh A lawnmower doesn't meet the safety requirements
- 34:23Speaker 3: to operate as a registered vehicle. Probably not street legal.
- 34:27Speaker 3: So the deputy sees a guy on the lawnmower and
- 34:30Speaker 3: just says, all right, I'm going to need to pull
- 34:32Speaker 3: this guy over here.
- 34:33Speaker 1: Out there cruising? Yeah. Deputy said that he smelled.
- 34:37Speaker 3: A strong odor of marijuana coming from the guy that
- 34:42Speaker 3: was riding the lawnmower on the street.
- 34:45Speaker 2: Yep.
- 34:46Speaker 3: Usually when we get into these lawnmower stores, it's somebody
- 34:49Speaker 3: going to a liquor store or going to buy more beer. Yeah,
- 34:53Speaker 3: usually they have a drinking problem. Their license has been
- 34:56Speaker 3: taken away, and the store's right down the street, so
- 35:00Speaker 3: I can take a lawnmower. Sometimes they'll ride a horse
- 35:03Speaker 3: or something. I know my ride. Yeah, a lot of
- 35:06Speaker 3: people with drinking problems and they can't drive anymore will
- 35:09Speaker 3: find a way to get to that liquor store, even
- 35:12Speaker 3: if it takes a lawnmower.
- 35:13Speaker 1: This guy just smells like weed, though. Okay.
- 35:16Speaker 3: A man on a lawnmower admitted that he smoked some
- 35:19Speaker 3: weed earlier.
- 35:20Speaker 1: And uh was.
- 35:21Speaker 3: He cutting lawn or was he out cruising no he's
- 35:23Speaker 3: on the street okay he's going places he ain't cutting
- 35:26Speaker 3: nothing he's going places he told the deputy that uh
- 35:29Speaker 3: he had some other items that were down by his
- 35:31Speaker 3: feet but don't look down don't worry about those those
- 35:34Speaker 3: are mine don't don't look officer he told him that
- 35:38Speaker 3: uh i smoked a little weed and i'm having a
- 35:41Speaker 3: little party okay all right Out on the lawnmower by yourself?
- 35:45Speaker 3: What kind of party is this? Picking people up. Deputies
- 35:50Speaker 3: conducted a probable cause search and found not only marijuana,
- 35:57Speaker 3: a hypodermic needle.
- 35:58Speaker 1: Okay. And crystal meth.
- 36:01Speaker 11: Oh, man.
- 36:02Speaker 1: The Florida meth mower was out on the streets? Oh, man.
- 36:06Speaker 19: Vroom!
- 36:06Speaker 6: Vroom!
- 36:08Speaker 9: Vroom!
- 36:08Speaker 1: Vroom! Man, riding the Florida meth mower around.
- 36:14Speaker 3: Riding so dirty he faces multiple drug charges now.
- 36:18Speaker 1: It is Florida making the show once again.
- 36:20Speaker 3: All right, we're going to try to find out legally
- 36:23Speaker 3: if we can steal the Pepsi machine that's on Mount
- 36:25Speaker 3: Washington that the guy who stole the original one. Put
- 36:29Speaker 3: there in its place. We'll get to that coming up next. Also,
- 36:33Speaker 3: your chance to win a full trip to Vegas for
- 36:34Speaker 3: our iHeartRadio Music Festival and a chance at $ 1, 000. All
- 36:38Speaker 3: that coming up around 9, 10. It's Mikey and Bob.
- 36:40Speaker 5: 96.1.
- 36:40Speaker 13: Kiss.
- 36:40Speaker 1: Isn't the view.
- 36:44Speaker 10: Spectacular?
- 36:45Speaker 1: Hey, let's get to Josh and Green Tree here. What's up, guys?
- 36:48Speaker 18: It's Josh and Green Tree catching up on Wednesday's podcast. Man,
- 36:52Speaker 18: what a shame that guy took that thing. Yeah.
- 36:54Speaker 3: But.
- 36:55Speaker 1: Vending machine. I like Bob's idea. Let's... Rally the movies. Movies.
- 37:00Speaker 18: Bob's got the truck.
- 37:02Speaker 1: Yeah. You got the Jeep.
- 37:03Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:04Speaker 1: You can chain it up and pull it off. I could.
- 37:07Speaker 1: And then we'll load it in Bob's truck.
- 37:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 37:09Speaker 18: And we'll get it into your studio.
- 37:11Speaker 1: Well.
- 37:11Speaker 18: Sounds like a plan to me. Let us know when
- 37:13Speaker 18: it's going down.
- 37:14Speaker 1: All right.
- 37:15Speaker 3: Well, we have sort of an update here. It's Mikey
- 37:18Speaker 3: and Bob on 96.1 KISS. Now, we've been talking... And
- 37:22Speaker 3: this has been for months now because a couple months ago,
- 37:25Speaker 3: guy on the Internet, he's got over a million followers.
- 37:27Speaker 1: He likes to steal things and then post it on
- 37:29Speaker 1: the Internet.
- 37:30Speaker 3: He does video series with all these things that he
- 37:32Speaker 3: thinks things that aren't easy to steal. And he had
- 37:35Speaker 3: his sights set on the Phantom Menace Star Wars vending
- 37:38Speaker 3: machine that has been there.
- 37:40Speaker 1: The Pepsi machine since 1999.
- 37:41Speaker 3: It's like a weird Pittsburgh landmark, kind of like South
- 37:45Speaker 3: Side Burger King. You know, it's got like that lore
- 37:47Speaker 3: to it where people in Pittsburgh know. People on the internet,
- 37:51Speaker 3: some know.
- 37:53Speaker 1: He said it months ago and then just kind of disappeared.
- 37:55Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:56Speaker 1: And we didn't hear about him. And then this week
- 37:58Speaker 1: he took it. He waited. He waited and waited and
- 38:01Speaker 1: then took it.
- 38:01Speaker 3: He took it and replaced it with another vending machine
- 38:04Speaker 3: that's a different vending machine. He has the original vending machine. Again,
- 38:10Speaker 3: I know this because he sent me a picture of
- 38:13Speaker 3: it from his Instagram account. He stole the vending machine.
- 38:17Speaker 3: In its place, in the exact location, is a hand-painted
- 38:21Speaker 3: vending machine he swapped it out with. So we wanted
- 38:24Speaker 3: to know legally, can we go steal his vending machine?
- 38:28Speaker 3: Not the original one, because we don't know where he's at.
- 38:31Speaker 3: We don't know where he took it. And he's from California,
- 38:35Speaker 3: so he could be up and out already, you know?
- 38:38Speaker 20: Mm-hmm.
- 38:39Speaker 3: So we were wondering, well, can we just take the
- 38:41Speaker 3: one that he left behind? So we reached out to,
- 38:45Speaker 3: you know, some of our legal friends, good friends of
- 38:49Speaker 3: the show, Edgar Snyder and associates. Because in my head,
- 38:52Speaker 3: him dropping that there, he would think that's part of
- 38:56Speaker 3: the goof that, oh, I got one over on everybody.
- 38:58Speaker 3: And then I dropped off this one that's hand-painted, but
- 39:00Speaker 3: it's not the thing. So I'm like, in my head,
- 39:03Speaker 3: that's just. That's just junk sitting there. That's like somebody
- 39:06Speaker 3: throwing their trash out and it's just sitting on the
- 39:08Speaker 3: curb waiting to be taken. Now, I don't really need
- 39:11Speaker 3: to get into a word for word here legally what's
- 39:15Speaker 3: going on, Bob, but.
- 39:16Speaker 1: We're probably looking at misdemeanors.
- 39:19Speaker 3: So legally not the best idea.
- 39:26Speaker 1: Not.
- 39:26Speaker 3: I mean, I i knew we couldn't steal the idle
- 39:30Speaker 3: wild duck when they had it but i thought this
- 39:33Speaker 3: one was up for the taking because it was just
- 39:35Speaker 3: left there by the guy who stole the original one yeah.
- 39:39Speaker 1: In my head this is just discarded this you know
- 39:43Speaker 1: where i think we should probably just stay away from
- 39:44Speaker 1: it legally not Our greatest idea.
- 39:48Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 39:48Speaker 1: Well, you know, this is why we talk things out.
- 39:51Speaker 3: Old Mike and Bob, when we first started, we would
- 39:53Speaker 3: have had that machine gone by noon yesterday.
- 39:57Speaker 1: Like, honestly.
- 39:59Speaker 3: Old Mike and Bob would have assembled a crew and
- 40:02Speaker 3: went and got that machine.
- 40:04Speaker 1: We're a little older, more mature now.
- 40:07Speaker 3: Not really looking to get police records at this point
- 40:10Speaker 3: in our life, okay?
- 40:12Speaker 2: So, no.
- 40:13Speaker 3: We also cannot encourage people to steal the vending machine
- 40:17Speaker 3: on our behalf.
- 40:18Speaker 1: It'll most likely result in charges.
- 40:21Speaker 3: Let's let this guy who stole the one, let's let
- 40:25Speaker 3: him get dealt with by the legal system and police
- 40:28Speaker 3: and everything, because obviously he has committed a crime.
- 40:31Speaker 1: By the way, Corey O'Connor, what are we doing? I
- 40:33Speaker 1: don't know. It's on his watch.
- 40:35Speaker 11: All these cameras around here now.
- 40:37Speaker 1: Where's the cameras?
- 40:37Speaker 11: I'm not washing.
- 40:38Speaker 1: Where's the flock cameras? That's what I'm saying. You know,
- 40:41Speaker 1: I'm not for the flock cameras, but.
- 40:43Speaker 3: If there's one thing that we need to stop and
- 40:46Speaker 3: can't forget, it's this.
- 40:47Speaker 1: Prove to me the flock cameras are good. Show me
- 40:51Speaker 1: where that vending machine is.
- 40:52Speaker 2: Oh, man.
- 40:53Speaker 3: Listen, if we're going to be surveilled everywhere we go now.
- 40:57Speaker 1: Use it for good.
- 40:59Speaker 11: At least.
- 41:01Speaker 3: Get us the damn Phantom Menace Pepsi vending machine back.
- 41:07Speaker 3: Come on, Corey O'Connor. No update from the guy, right? Uh, no,
- 41:10Speaker 3: he hasn't posted a video out yet. Well, I guess
- 41:12Speaker 3: leave the other vending machine alone because it's, um, you
- 41:15Speaker 3: might get some charges if you drive.
- 41:19Speaker 1: We've learned.
- 41:27Speaker 3: It's the final preseason game for the black and gold tonight.
- 41:31Speaker 3: They're in Buffalo, their new fancy multi-billion dollar stadium. They got, uh,
- 41:36Speaker 3: We got up there, so we'll be reading some Steelers
- 41:38Speaker 3: Facebook comments on the show tomorrow. Yesterday, there was a
- 41:42Speaker 3: report from NFL Network's Mike Garofalo. It said the Steelers
- 41:47Speaker 3: haven't even made an offer to Joey Porter Jr. He's
- 41:50Speaker 3: just been sitting out. This doesn't seem good.
- 41:52Speaker 2: No.
- 41:54Speaker 3: And like we've said on the show for a long time,
- 41:57Speaker 3: the Steelers not getting a Joey Porter Jr. extension done
- 42:01Speaker 3: has only cost them tens of millions of dollars if
- 42:04Speaker 3: they plan on re-signing him because the market on cornerbacks
- 42:07Speaker 3: has gone through the roof. And the Steelers don't sign
- 42:10Speaker 3: people in season, so it's coming up to an end here.
- 42:13Speaker 1: Right. Yeah.
- 42:14Speaker 3: So we'll see what happens. But season's getting closer. Final
- 42:17Speaker 3: preseason game tonight in Buffalo. Facebook comments from the Steelers
- 42:21Speaker 3: Facebook page on the show tomorrow morning.
- 42:25Speaker 1: It's Mikey and Bob here on 96. One kiss, Bob.
- 42:27Speaker 1: It's time to say something.
- 42:32Speaker 11: Say something nice. Say something nice.
- 42:35Speaker 1: Good morning, guys. It's Plant Lady.
- 42:37Speaker 11: Plant Lady!
- 42:38Speaker 9: So just want to tell you, last week we moved
- 42:40Speaker 9: our daughter into school.
- 42:41Speaker 5: Nice.
- 42:42Speaker 9: And Bob, I absolutely listened to your advice to just
- 42:44Speaker 9: make it short, sweet, and simple.
- 42:46Speaker 4: Get in and get out. So that made it a
- 42:48Speaker 4: lot easier.
- 42:49Speaker 9: But I did want to say something nice about the
- 42:52Speaker 9: students up at W & J who were out there
- 42:55Speaker 9: in the rain getting everybody all moved in. They had
- 42:58Speaker 9: cheerleaders out there. I mean, it was pouring buckets, but
- 43:01Speaker 9: these kids busted their tails. In addition to the cheerleaders,
- 43:05Speaker 9: I think there was like a dance line team or
- 43:08Speaker 9: something like that. They were playing music on the side,
- 43:10Speaker 9: but they really, in spite of the rain, made it
- 43:12Speaker 9: a good experience. I just wanted to give them a
- 43:14Speaker 9: little shout out and tell them we appreciate them because
- 43:17Speaker 9: we didn't have to lift and carry anything.
- 43:19Speaker 1: So have a great day, guys.
- 43:21Speaker 3: All right, everybody at WNJ that made it nice for
- 43:23Speaker 3: the students coming in.
- 43:25Speaker 5: Ooh, we got it.
- 43:28Speaker 11: Say something nice. Say something nice.
- 43:31Speaker 19: Hi, this is Taylor, your buddy JoJo's wife.
- 43:33Speaker 1: Hey.
- 43:34Speaker 12: I just wanted to call in and say something nice.
- 43:37Speaker 1: Uh-huh. Say something nice. Oh, you want to do it
- 43:39Speaker 1: a little bit.
- 43:40Speaker 10: Ooh.
- 43:44Speaker 11: Say something nice. Say something nice.
- 43:47Speaker 12: I just wanted to let my husband know that I am.
- 43:50Speaker 16: So grateful that 38 years ago today, a 10-pound baby
- 43:55Speaker 16: Yinzer was born.
- 43:56Speaker 7: Wow.
- 43:57Speaker 1: Happy birthday, JoJo, and I hope you guys also have
- 44:00Speaker 1: a great day. Bye. That was very nice. My birthday, too.
- 44:04Speaker 9: Nope.
- 44:05Speaker 1: That's New Year's Day. Were you a big baby? No,
- 44:09Speaker 1: I was premature.
- 44:10Speaker 23: Really?
- 44:11Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah. I didn't know you were premature. Yeah,
- 44:14Speaker 1: I think I was six weeks premature. Wow.
- 44:17Speaker 3: What day were you born? Why don't you tell everybody
- 44:22Speaker 3: what day you were born? I mean, we can celebrate
- 44:24Speaker 3: any day. My birthday falls on, say it, January 1st.
- 44:30Speaker 1: Oh, New Year's Day, huh? Boo!
- 44:34Speaker 11: Say something nice. Say something nice.
- 44:38Speaker 1: Let's get to another one. Hi, Mikey and Bob. It's Andrew.
- 44:40Speaker 2: Hi.
- 44:40Speaker 24: I don't know if this counts as a say something
- 44:42Speaker 24: nice or not, but my sister is Steph who called
- 44:45Speaker 24: in last week and then again today on her birthday.
- 44:47Speaker 24: I just heard it on the podcast.
- 44:49Speaker 1: Okay.
- 44:49Speaker 24: To confess that she's a serial killer.
- 44:50Speaker 4: Okay.
- 44:51Speaker 24: And I want to let you know.
- 44:52Speaker 3: Wait, she confessed to us that she's a serial killer? Oh,
- 44:54Speaker 3: is it because she does the... Sock shoes? Yeah, sock shoe,
- 44:58Speaker 3: sock shoe, instead of sock, sock, shoe, shoe, yeah.
- 45:00Speaker 24: I am not a serial killer. I put both socks
- 45:02Speaker 24: on before I put my shoes on.
- 45:04Speaker 1: Atta boy.
- 45:04Speaker 24: And I usually actually have my socks on second after
- 45:07Speaker 24: my underwear.
- 45:08Speaker 3: Well, yeah, I don't... You don't go socks before underwear.
- 45:13Speaker 3: Underwear is the first thing that goes on, right?
- 45:15Speaker 1: Underwear, right? No, I put socks on before underwear.
- 45:18Speaker 2: Really?
- 45:19Speaker 3: Are you just sitting on the bed naked and then
- 45:21Speaker 3: putting socks on?
- 45:23Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 45:24Speaker 2: Wow.
- 45:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 45:25Speaker 1: All right. Let me close my eyes.
- 45:30Speaker 2: Wow.
- 45:32Speaker 3: I've never thought about that before. A lot more flexible
- 45:34Speaker 3: than I thought he was.
- 45:35Speaker 9: Wow.
- 45:36Speaker 3: Yeah, I put my socks on before my underwear. See,
- 45:39Speaker 3: I would just be worried about, like... Worried about what? Well,
- 45:43Speaker 3: my father-in-law coming into my bedroom and being like, hey,
- 45:46Speaker 3: can I have soup?
- 45:47Speaker 24: But I do also want to mention, I am younger,
- 45:49Speaker 24: so I always have a crazy side in her, so
- 45:51Speaker 24: I'm not surprised that she's a serial killer. And she
- 45:53Speaker 24: just graduated pharmacy.
- 45:54Speaker 1: To school.
- 45:55Speaker 24: Passed all of her additional tests, so that means she's
- 45:56Speaker 24: board certified in her parties this weekend, so that's what
- 45:59Speaker 24: I wanted to give her a shout out for. But
- 46:00Speaker 24: I also have to shout out to my girlfriend whose
- 46:02Speaker 24: birthday is the same day, Emily, and she is a
- 46:05Speaker 24: nurse at Shady Side, so she doesn't hear it enough
- 46:07Speaker 24: how great she is because she tells me stories about
- 46:09Speaker 24: what she deals with on a daily basis, and there's
- 46:11Speaker 24: no way I could do what she does. Last but
- 46:13Speaker 24: not least, sorry, Bob. You can't have the same birthday
- 46:15Speaker 24: as my sister and my girlfriend, even though she already
- 46:17Speaker 24: wished you a happy birthday, too.
- 46:19Speaker 1: I will not.
- 46:20Speaker 24: I'm with you, Mikey. Have a good one, boys.
- 46:22Speaker 1: Hey, my birthday's in a week from today. You are
- 46:25Speaker 1: a week away.
- 46:29Speaker 11: Say something nice. Say something nice.
- 46:32Speaker 2: All right.
- 46:33Speaker 3: You send us a say something nice message today or tomorrow,
- 46:36Speaker 3: and we'll get you qualified to win.
- 46:39Speaker 1: A $ 100 get go gift card.
- 46:41Speaker 3: So, you know, we got Labor Day weekend and my
- 46:43Speaker 3: birthday coming up like next weekend. and you're going out
- 46:46Speaker 3: of town, maybe you want to fuel up, get some gas,
- 46:48Speaker 3: get some snacks, get some drinks. Maybe you just want
- 46:50Speaker 3: some treats for yourself. Yeah, not wrong with a $ 100
- 46:53Speaker 3: gift card for treats at get-go. So send us a
- 46:55Speaker 3: Say Something Nice message this week, and you are entered
- 46:58Speaker 3: to win. Now, coming up around 9-10, it is your
- 47:02Speaker 3: chance to win a full trip to Vegas. Tickets, airfare,
- 47:06Speaker 3: hotel for both nights of our iHeartRadio Music Festival, and
- 47:10Speaker 3: $ 1, 000 to spend is coming up around 9-10.
- 47:11Speaker 1: 96 Long Hits!
- 47:12Speaker 3: Woo!
- 47:14Speaker 1: The Mikey and Bob Podcast.
- 47:18Speaker 3: Bruno Mars, Saturday at Accrisher. It's been sold out for
- 47:22Speaker 3: a while. Resale market's not great. It's going to cost
- 47:25Speaker 3: you a couple hundred bucks even to sit up top
- 47:27Speaker 3: in the 500s.
- 47:28Speaker 1: Yeah, they're expensive.
- 47:29Speaker 3: Bruno Mars, Saturday at Accrisher. It's Mikey and Bob here
- 47:33Speaker 3: on 96.1 KISS. Now, coming up next on the show,
- 47:35Speaker 3: we're going to give you a chance to win not
- 47:37Speaker 3: only $ 1, 000, but a full trip to Vegas.
- 47:41Speaker 1: Airfare, hotel.
- 47:42Speaker 3: everything taken care of, and tickets to both nights of
- 47:45Speaker 3: our iHeartRadio Music Festival. That will be coming up next
- 47:48Speaker 3: here on 96.1 KISS. Right now, though, Bob, Steelers. Steelers
- 47:55Speaker 3: are on tonight, of course. They're in Buffalo for the
- 47:58Speaker 3: final preseason game. Of course, we've gotten to the point
- 48:02Speaker 3: here where everybody's like, oh, season's starting soon. Might want
- 48:07Speaker 3: to see Joey Porter Jr. play football for the Steelers
- 48:11Speaker 3: this year since, you know, he's obviously grown up with
- 48:14Speaker 3: the team with his dad playing linebacker. I mean, I
- 48:16Speaker 3: know we're all distracted by who's the four quarterback or
- 48:20Speaker 3: three quarterbacks or who's staying, who's going.
- 48:22Speaker 1: But the Joey.
- 48:23Speaker 3: porter jr thing's kind of the biggest thing that's still
- 48:27Speaker 3: out there yeah it's a big thing you don't want
- 48:29Speaker 3: to start the season without this guy so let's.
- 48:30Speaker 1: Get to debo and joe here You know what? They
- 48:34Speaker 1: do a damn good job.
- 48:35Speaker 3: Deebo and Joe on their podcast, Deebo and Joe Show,
- 48:38Speaker 3: they were talking about Joey Porter Jr.
- 48:40Speaker 5: I would think that you would offer something, and the
- 48:43Speaker 5: fact that you haven't would make me assume how you
- 48:47Speaker 5: feel about me, because I know the players believe he
- 48:50Speaker 5: has value.
- 48:51Speaker 1: You know what? I don't know what I'm doing right here.
- 48:54Speaker 1: I'm sitting. I know.
- 48:56Speaker 3: Listen, we're playing clips from James Harrison. Milk the Debo.
- 49:00Speaker 3: And Joe Hayden's podcast. And we're not playing our proper
- 49:04Speaker 3: milking music because I'll tell you what right now.
- 49:07Speaker 1: We are milking that content.
- 49:09Speaker 3: Milk, milk, milk, milk, milk the Steelers content.
- 49:13Speaker 11: Milk, milk, milk, milk, milk the Steelers content.
- 49:16Speaker 1: All right. Again, Devo and Joe talking about Joey Porter Jr.
- 49:20Speaker 5: You got Patrick McQueen who also said, hey, I got
- 49:23Speaker 5: my money.
- 49:23Speaker 1: I can only be happy if Joey gets his money.
- 49:26Speaker 1: Did he call him Patrick McQueen?
- 49:28Speaker 4: He did.
- 49:30Speaker 1: Yes, he did.
- 49:31Speaker 11: Milk, milk, milk, milk, milk the Steelers content.
- 49:34Speaker 1: The Steelers didn't make any offer. I am totally lost.
- 49:38Speaker 5: If they need, okay, we need some more time to
- 49:40Speaker 5: see what he's doing or how he's going.
- 49:42Speaker 1: We need to see him on the practice field. You've
- 49:43Speaker 1: seen him play for the last three years.
- 49:45Speaker 2: Yes.
- 49:45Speaker 1: Offer the man something. And if it's me, I'm not moving.
- 49:49Speaker 5: Stepping foot until i at least have an offer on
- 49:52Speaker 5: the table.
- 49:53Speaker 3: Yeah that's i guess the new thing coming out is
- 49:55Speaker 3: that steelers haven't even offered him a deal at all
- 49:59Speaker 3: you know what.
- 49:59Speaker 1: And it actually how do i say this without.
- 50:02Speaker 3: Saying oh man whoa say it james harrison say watch
- 50:08Speaker 3: out debo don't do it Say the thing.
- 50:11Speaker 1: How can I say this without saying it? All things
- 50:13Speaker 1: got to hit when you're trying to get the highest paid.
- 50:15Speaker 1: And you kind of got to understand that, too. And
- 50:18Speaker 1: ain't even the highest paid. I just want to say something.
- 50:20Speaker 1: Say it. Say it. Say it. Say it. Come on.
- 50:25Speaker 1: I'm not saying I know the number.
- 50:27Speaker 11: Oh, my gosh.
- 50:28Speaker 1: He knows the number. How's he going to say the thing? Well,
- 50:31Speaker 1: I'm not saying it.
- 50:33Speaker 3: McCarthy, Omar, every Rooney in western Pennsylvania called James Harrison,
- 50:38Speaker 3: called Debo right now.
- 50:39Speaker 11: He's not saying it, but he's saying it.
- 50:42Speaker 1: He knows the number. That nephew would like to be. Oh,
- 50:45Speaker 1: my gosh. Don't talk to his agent anymore. Talk to Debo.
- 50:49Speaker 1: Debo's got it. Talk to Debo. I know the Steelers
- 50:52Speaker 1: damn so don't know because they ain't talking.
- 50:54Speaker 3: Yeah, the Steelers don't know how much he wants. Joey
- 50:56Speaker 3: Porter Jr. apparently knows how much he wants, and somehow
- 50:59Speaker 3: Debo knows how much Joey Porter Jr. wants, right, because
- 51:03Speaker 3: that's nephew. So somebody needs to call Debo and be like, hey,
- 51:06Speaker 3: we haven't talked to him. What's his number?
- 51:09Speaker 5: There's 31 other businesses out there because now this.
- 51:13Speaker 1: Is a business situation. 1,000%.
- 51:15Speaker 5: And I'm sure they would love to do business with Nick.
- 51:19Speaker 1: Show me something. You don't show me nothing that tells
- 51:21Speaker 1: me I'm nothing.
- 51:22Speaker 3: He's not lying. It's 31 other teams that probably could
- 51:25Speaker 3: use Joey Porter Jr. Steelers could definitely use him this year.
- 51:29Speaker 3: We'll see where this contract stuff ends up because he
- 51:32Speaker 3: deserves to be one of the, if not the highest
- 51:34Speaker 3: paid cornerback in the league. And the Steelers reportedly haven't
- 51:39Speaker 3: even offered him anything yet. And Debo knows the number
- 51:42Speaker 3: he'll take.
- 51:42Speaker 1: He knows the number.
- 51:43Speaker 3: Make sure you listen to the Debo and Joe podcast.
- 51:47Speaker 3: He knows the number.
- 51:48Speaker 11: Milk, milk, milk, milk, milk the Steelers content.
- 51:52Speaker 1: Milk, milk, milk, milk, milk the Steelers content.
- 51:57Speaker 3: Hey, Taylor Swift gets the beginning of August. So when
- 52:00Speaker 3: like it's August 1st, you know, we play Taylor Swift, August.
- 52:04Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 52:04Speaker 1: Salt air in the rust on your door.
- 52:09Speaker 3: But now we're at the end of August, which is
- 52:13Speaker 3: the first song on Noah Khan's last album.
- 52:17Speaker 1: So Noah Khan gets the end of August now. Ending
- 52:21Speaker 1: of August, the bugs are all starting to die. Noah
- 52:27Speaker 1: Khan makes some depressing music. Yeah. I love it. All right.
- 52:31Speaker 3: We got a chance for you to win $ 1, 000 at
- 52:33Speaker 3: a full trip to go see our iHeartRadio Music Festival.
- 52:35Speaker 3: That's coming up in just a couple weekends out in Vegas.
- 52:39Speaker 3: Right now, though, Bob, I didn't think we were going
- 52:42Speaker 3: to go back to this. I thought as a show,
- 52:45Speaker 3: as a community, we were past this. But I must
- 52:48Speaker 3: take everyone back to the message we got a while back.
- 52:53Speaker 3: about the lady whose man sits on the porcelain toilet
- 53:00Speaker 3: and lifts up both toilet seats.
- 53:02Speaker 14: Recently found out the guy that I'm dating.
- 53:05Speaker 7: Is a bull sitter.
- 53:06Speaker 3: Yeah, a bull sitter. Now, our show is just sort
- 53:10Speaker 3: of all over the place. Yeah, sure, of course, we
- 53:12Speaker 3: do a live show, but also a lot of people
- 53:13Speaker 3: are getting caught up on the podcast. So there's people
- 53:16Speaker 3: learning about bull sitters all over the place in different podcasts,
- 53:20Speaker 3: different shows and everything. But let's get to our friend
- 53:23Speaker 3: Christina here. She just sent a talkback message in, brought
- 53:26Speaker 3: to us by One Team Media.
- 53:27Speaker 1: Good morning, fellas.
- 53:28Speaker 15: I don't know if you guys really realize how much
- 53:30Speaker 15: people think about the conversations that are on your show
- 53:34Speaker 15: day in and day out, all day long. The amount
- 53:36Speaker 15: of time that me and Shani have discussed sitting directly
- 53:40Speaker 15: on the toilet is, like, ridiculous. Yesterday we were talking
- 53:43Speaker 15: about going low so it would be a clean toilet
- 53:45Speaker 15: so we could sit down on them and see what.
- 53:47Speaker 1: The draw is. Okay, now don't do it. Taking a
- 53:51Speaker 1: field trip to the toilet section? You can clean your
- 53:54Speaker 1: own toilet. I'd feel more comfortable. Like, don't go to, like,
- 53:57Speaker 1: Lowe's or something like that and wait. The display?
- 54:02Speaker 3: Like, you're there, like, Pokemon cards are being released or something.
- 54:05Speaker 3: We got to be the first on the bowl. You
- 54:06Speaker 3: can't trust that because the workers are already in there.
- 54:09Speaker 1: You know, I'm not sure if they're using the public
- 54:11Speaker 1: bathroom either. No, I was just talking about the displays, dude. Oh,
- 54:14Speaker 1: the display.
- 54:15Speaker 3: No, you can't sit on the displays. You can't bare-ass
- 54:19Speaker 3: a display. And you got to bear acid if you
- 54:22Speaker 3: want to really feel how it feels, right?
- 54:23Speaker 2: For real, yeah.
- 54:24Speaker 1: Okay. Then we talked about getting fake.
- 54:27Speaker 15: Balls so we could, like, hang them in there and see, like,
- 54:29Speaker 15: how low they go into the bowl.
- 54:32Speaker 11: And then it.
- 54:33Speaker 1: Just got even more ridiculous from there.
- 54:35Speaker 3: I don't know if it gets more ridiculous than... I'm
- 54:38Speaker 3: not sure where else you go from there. Me and
- 54:41Speaker 3: Shani were hanging truck nuts at Lowe's.
- 54:43Speaker 1: Also, the amount of times that I've pictured.
- 54:46Speaker 15: mikey because i get that girl's message that she left
- 54:49Speaker 15: about he wouldn't need a squatty potty and i was.
- 54:51Speaker 8: Like yeah you're right because he's so tall and then
- 54:53Speaker 8: you said you still would so now i'm like sitting
- 54:55Speaker 8: there trying to picture.
- 54:56Speaker 1: How high your legs go and if it.
- 54:59Speaker 8: Really would need a squatty potty or like legit you
- 55:02Speaker 8: are good to go oh god it's just endless ridiculous
- 55:05Speaker 8: thoughts yeah but i swear every time i'm in the
- 55:08Speaker 8: freaking bathroom i think of everything This.
- 55:11Speaker 1: Is talked about on the show.
- 55:12Speaker 15: Like I can't even go in for a nice, enjoyable,
- 55:15Speaker 15: like quick shot.
- 55:16Speaker 8: I'm in there thinking like about what is talked on
- 55:19Speaker 8: the show.
- 55:20Speaker 1: Try it.
- 55:20Speaker 10: Oh my God.
- 55:21Speaker 1: Okay. Have a good day.
- 55:22Speaker 4: Bye.
- 55:22Speaker 1: Okay. I guess just try it. We've ruined the bathroom.
- 55:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 55:25Speaker 1: Ruin the bathroom for Christina. The moment she steps in
- 55:28Speaker 1: the door, she thinks of us. Yeah. Or bathroom ghosts.
- 55:32Speaker 3: Can't wait for somebody to make the Pittsburgh police scanner
- 55:35Speaker 3: about two ladies that got arrested at Lowe's.
- 55:40Speaker 13: Why?
- 55:41Speaker 3: They were hanging them in the display toilets. All right,
- 55:44Speaker 3: here's your chance to go to our iHeartRadio Music Festival
- 55:48Speaker 3: and win $ 1, 000 and a full trip to Vegas. Should
- 55:55Speaker 3: be pretty nice out today. Highs and low 80s. It's
- 55:57Speaker 3: Mikey and Bob here on 96.1 KISS. We've been, like,
- 56:01Speaker 3: unfortunately dealing with a lot of, like, really just close
- 56:05Speaker 3: listeners that we have that have lost pets recently, you know? Yeah.
- 56:10Speaker 3: Buddy Reed Nico, who listens to the show over in
- 56:12Speaker 3: the state of Washington. His dog Poe passed. Aunt Kaka
- 56:17Speaker 3: left us a message yesterday. She was all done because...
- 56:21Speaker 3: Her dog Dudley, you know, they had to put Dudley down.
- 56:25Speaker 1: Yeah, but hold on. Our buddy Weed Nico is back here.
- 56:29Speaker 2: Hey, boys.
- 56:31Speaker 13: Weed Nico from Washington. I just wanted to give a
- 56:34Speaker 13: quick shout to Aunt Kaka. I'm right here with you, girl.
- 56:39Speaker 13: Sorry you had to put your bulldog down. But we're
- 56:43Speaker 13: all right here with you. We love you and we're
- 56:45Speaker 13: here for you. In fact, speaking of here for.
- 56:48Speaker 2: You, Oh, boy.
- 56:49Speaker 4: I just picked up Poe from being cremated.
- 56:52Speaker 3: Oh, wow.
- 56:52Speaker 4: And I wanted to take my first bee with him.
- 56:54Speaker 1: First bee?
- 56:56Speaker 4: Now that he's back.
- 56:57Speaker 1: A beer?
- 56:57Speaker 4: I want to share that with you, too, Aunt Kaka.
- 56:59Speaker 1: A bath?
- 57:00Speaker 4: This one's for you and Poe.
- 57:01Speaker 1: Aunt Kaka, too? Uh-oh. Oh, it's a long rip.
- 57:05Speaker 19: Tribute.
- 57:06Speaker 21: Here you go.
- 57:10Speaker 1: Yeah, well, we call him Weed Nico for a reason.
- 57:12Speaker 23: It's been rough all around, y'all.
- 57:14Speaker 2: Has been.
- 57:14Speaker 23: Didn't Cornhole Joe lose his dog a little while back?
- 57:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I think so, yeah.
- 57:18Speaker 23: John from Trafford is going through it, too. I'm not
- 57:22Speaker 23: sure what you're going through, my friend, but Raccoon Tim.
- 57:25Speaker 1: Raccoon Tim, man. I'll be right here with you. I've
- 57:27Speaker 1: been going through it.
- 57:27Speaker 4: Might be time for the Golden Laugh Track, y'all.
- 57:29Speaker 3: All right, well, there's been a lot of sadness lately,
- 57:32Speaker 3: and this is why we have something on the show
- 57:35Speaker 3: called the Golden Laugh Track.
- 57:36Speaker 1: In the middle of that, he gave everybody a tribute bong.
- 57:39Speaker 1: He did.
- 57:40Speaker 3: For not only his cremated dog, Poe, but for others
- 57:44Speaker 3: that have passed. Hey, I think our show just found
- 57:47Speaker 3: a new rainbow bridge. Yeah, right?
- 57:49Speaker 1: When I, listen, we're establishing a rule right now.
- 57:53Speaker 3: Anybody, if you lose a pet, you can request a
- 57:57Speaker 3: special Weed and Eco Tribune.
- 58:00Speaker 18: All right.
- 58:03Speaker 3: The golden laugh track is for times like this, okay?
- 58:06Speaker 3: When times are tough, yeah, yeah. When you just need it.
- 58:10Speaker 3: You need something to make you smile. Mike pooped his
- 58:13Speaker 3: pants one time. Trusted a fart. This is what it
- 58:16Speaker 3: sounded like.
- 58:16Speaker 1: Did you poop your pants?
- 58:18Speaker 4: No, you didn't.
- 58:19Speaker 1: You didn't.
- 58:21Speaker 10: No, you didn't.
- 58:22Speaker 1: I did. You said you pooped your pants.
- 58:30Speaker 11: You make it seem like I pooped your pants.
- 58:34Speaker 10: You make it seem like I'm a child What else
- 58:39Speaker 10: is it? You pooped your pants.
- 58:46Speaker 1: Did you throw your underwear away? I did What did
- 58:51Speaker 1: you do?
- 58:52Speaker 3: I And for those people who aren't aware of this yet,
- 59:04Speaker 3: we're your official back-to-school station. We don't make the rules,
- 59:07Speaker 3: but like, it's just, it's been voted on by all
- 59:10Speaker 3: the schools. Every single school voted on it. Earned, not given.
- 59:14Speaker 3: It was us. Yep, official back-to-school station here. 96.1 KISS,
- 59:18Speaker 3: it's your friends Mike and Bob. Hey, everybody, Logan's back here.
- 59:21Speaker 7: Hey, Mikey and Bob, Logan here. It's officially back-to-school week
- 59:26Speaker 7: for me, um, I work in a school as my
- 59:30Speaker 7: main job. And I think that the only thing that's
- 59:33Speaker 7: been getting me through this week is that I finally
- 59:35Speaker 7: get to be back on my commute live listening to
- 59:38Speaker 7: the show. So thank you guys for helping me get
- 59:41Speaker 7: through this first week of school.
- 59:42Speaker 1: Yeah, I think maybe we should... Are you clapping?
- 59:45Speaker 3: Welcome back to everybody, by the way. I feel like
- 59:47Speaker 3: we should almost do like a summer recap, you know?
- 59:50Speaker 3: Like the things that happened in our lives around the
- 59:52Speaker 3: show over the summer, just to update people who... But
- 59:55Speaker 3: then again, I start thinking about that, and I'm like,
- 59:57Speaker 3: I don't even know what we did yesterday on the show,
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: let alone last week.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: Could get our producer to do that, but, you know.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: All right, hold on. Let's get to some Say Something
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: Nice right here.
- 1:00:08Speaker 7: Ooh, wee!
- 1:00:11Speaker 11: Say something nice. Say something nice.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: All right, let's get to a say something nice message here.
- 1:00:16Speaker 3: Again, if you send a say something nice message this week,
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: you're qualified to win a $ 100 GetGo gift card. Our
- 1:00:22Speaker 3: friends over at GetGo, they got you for whatever you
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: need for your final summer road trip. If you're going
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: somewhere Labor Day weekend coming up next weekend. Food, gas, drinks,
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: all of it.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: Get go.
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: What's up, dude?
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: Steve here. Hey, I just want to drop a quick... Ooh-wee.
- 1:00:40Speaker 10: Whoa.
- 1:00:40Speaker 11: Say something nice.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: Sing it.
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: Sing it.
- 1:00:42Speaker 11: Say something nice.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: Ooh-wee.
- 1:00:47Speaker 11: Say something nice. Say something nice.
- 1:00:50Speaker 17: My wife and I went on our anniversary trip. this
- 1:00:53Speaker 17: past week, and I just want to shout out my
- 1:00:54Speaker 17: parents for taking us to and from the airport. My
- 1:00:57Speaker 17: dad picked us up Thursday morning at 4.20 in the morning.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: No coincidence. Took us to the airport.
- 1:01:02Speaker 17: My mom picked us up on Tuesday, drove us home,
- 1:01:05Speaker 17: and there was already food waiting in the refrigerator, so
- 1:01:07Speaker 17: we didn't even have to think about it. So shout
- 1:01:09Speaker 17: out to them.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: They rock.
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: Oh, man.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: Fully stocked fridge is underrated. Coming home to that. I
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: feel like I can never get my fridge right.
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: I feel like there's always stuff in there that's expired,
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: and I'm like, ah.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: And then I don't want.
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: To throw it in the trash because in the trash
- 1:01:27Speaker 3: is going to stink.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: I don't want to put it on garbage disposal. I
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: feel like.
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: There's just a couple different kinds of people. My house
- 1:01:34Speaker 3: is definitely not one of those people that have everything
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: super organized in the kitchen with bins and stacked everywhere.
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: And you look at the fridge and it's all laid
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: out perfectly. Nah, it's not my house.
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: No.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: No, no, no. Let's get to another one here.
- 1:01:50Speaker 11: Hey boys, wanted to send in an... Say something nice.
- 1:01:56Speaker 10: Come on.
- 1:01:57Speaker 4: Say something nice.
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: Oh, so you wanted to say.
- 1:02:07Speaker 11: Say something nice. Say something nice.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: To my landlord.
- 1:02:11Speaker 8: Landlord.
- 1:02:12Speaker 13: Whoa.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: Landlord.
- 1:02:13Speaker 11: Why?
- 1:02:15Speaker 15: Because today I locked myself out of my house.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: Not great.
- 1:02:19Speaker 15: For an hour and a half.
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: Oh.
- 1:02:20Speaker 13: When I was walking my dog.
- 1:02:22Speaker 10: Wow.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: Wearing nothing but a muumuuu.
- 1:02:24Speaker 4: Nothing underneath and slides.
- 1:02:27Speaker 7: So thank you to my landlord who let me in.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: Moo-moo and slides. Nothing underneath.
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: Not what you want to get locked out for an
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: hour and a half and have your landlord show up
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: and just be like, were you walking around in this?
- 1:02:39Speaker 11: Is this what you were wearing?
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: Hey, usually landlords, it's like a problem.
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: Did she thank you? Just taking the dog out for
- 1:02:47Speaker 3: a quick little quick walk.
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: Ended up being about two hours.
- 1:02:54Speaker 11: Say something nice. Say something nice.
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: Get your say something nice messages in today and tomorrow.
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: If you want your chance at a $ 100 get go
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: gift card.
- 1:03:03Speaker 9: Why?
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: Because we like to reward you for spreading positivity on
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: our show. Tonight, final preseason game for the Steelers. They'll
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: be in Buffalo. Of course, if you're not near a TV,
- 1:03:20Speaker 3: you can listen to it on the radio. Home of
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: the Pittsburgh Steelers. 102.5 DVE. Rocking the Steelers.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: Home of the Rocking. Home of the Lurs. On the

- 1:03:38Speaker 3: So, yeah, Steelers, of course, tonight taking on the Bills
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: in Buffalo, which means tomorrow on the show.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: Sure, we'll talk about the game.
- 1:03:45Speaker 3: Like you talk about the game with your friends or anybody.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's a third preseason game.
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: It's Steelers Facebook comments that it's really going to be
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: the fun of the show tomorrow.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: That's what we want. That's what we need.
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: We will get to that, of course, and hopefully something
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: happens with Joey Porter Jr. here soon because season's going
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: to start. That guy needs a new contract. It doesn't
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: sound like he's coming back to play any football this
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: year if he doesn't have a big, fat new deal.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: Let's see. What else?
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: Pirates are off today. They got shut out yesterday. They're
- 1:04:17Speaker 3: in St. Louis tomorrow. They're coasting it in. They're coasting
- 1:04:20Speaker 3: it in. We're cruising to the end here at the Pirates.

- 1:04:34Speaker 3: Bob, I got to say thank you again to neighbor
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: Nicole from down the street. Walked over with her three
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: younger girls yesterday and dropped off Jeep ducks at my house.
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: Home delivery Jeep ducks. You got porch ducks, man. I
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: did get porch ducks. That aren't like the porch ducks
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: you dress up. They were just for my Jeep. But
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: they were the first people to get our Mikey and
- 1:04:57Speaker 3: Bob C. Harper Jeep ducks that they made us. Very exclusive.
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: Special.
- 1:05:01Speaker 5: It is.
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: Speaking of our friends over at the Seaharper Auto Group,
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: they are the official sponsor of the Mikey and Bob podcast.
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: What would you like to name the podcast today, Bob? Meat, potatoes,
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: and a six-foot nutcracker. I feel like we've had some
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: really good podcast names lately, you know? Can I say
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: that again and you slow it down? Can we do
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: that trick?
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: Yeah, sure. Go ahead.
- 1:05:30Speaker 10: Meat!
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: Wait, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. No,
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: I gotta hit another button. Alright, try again.
- 1:05:36Speaker 20: Meat!
- 1:05:37Speaker 10: Potatoes! And a six-foot nutcracker!
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: Okay. You feel better now that you got that out
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: of your system, bud?
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: Okay. Hey, listen. By the way, this is not going
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: to become a thing.
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: We don't need to end every show with a sensual
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: Bob doing the podcast name.
- 1:05:57Speaker 10: Meat!
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: Potatoes! Just for today.
- 1:06:00Speaker 10: And a six-foot nutcracker!
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: Just something special for today. Something special. This isn't going
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: to be a thing going forward.
- 1:06:09Speaker 11: No, never.
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: No.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: Uh-uh. We don't have, like, running things that carry over
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: from show to show. We wouldn't.
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: Not like it's been Bob's birthday for almost nine months
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: straight now.
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: Hey, thanks, man. All right, that's it. No, that wasn't
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: an official happy birthday. I just wished you. Have a
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: good day. Don't steal it. Listen to the podcast if
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: you missed anything. WKST FM Pittsburgh, 96.
