- 0:09Speaker 1: Now back to Mark Simone on wo R. Hey, let's
- 0:14Speaker 1: take some calls. Let's go to Ron in Florida. Ron,
- 0:18Speaker 1: how you doing?
- 0:19Speaker 3: Good?
- 0:20Speaker 4: Good morning. I wanted to say before I start that
- 0:22Speaker 4: I've been listening to you since January of twenty twenty.
- 0:24Speaker 4: I enjoy your show, especially Vincent, and I'm an avid listener.
- 0:28Speaker 1: So well, thanks. Where are you in Florida?
- 0:31Speaker 4: And Jacksonville Beach is just south of Savannah if you
- 0:35Speaker 4: know where that is?
- 0:36Speaker 1: Yeah, but beautiful weather here today one hundred degrees Dallas.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Say what they tell you? It's beautiful?
- 0:42Speaker 2: What is it?
- 0:43Speaker 1: One hundred degrees? And you got lizards crawling all over you,
- 0:46Speaker 1: no snakes and hurricanes?
- 0:48Speaker 4: Eighties? Right now, we've done a couple of weeks of
- 0:50Speaker 4: good weather.
- 0:51Speaker 1: So okay, so low eighties. What's going to be at
- 0:53Speaker 1: three o'clock high nineties?
- 0:55Speaker 4: Probably one hundred?
- 0:56Speaker 1: Yeah, you see you guys, try to cover that up,
- 0:59Speaker 1: all right, go ahead, we don't give it.
- 1:01Speaker 4: But and one time I lived in Dallas, Texas. If
- 1:03Speaker 4: you okay, okay, uh and worked for the transit agency there.
- 1:09Speaker 4: And I met Scott when I was a PR guy
- 1:12Speaker 4: and he was interviewing me for some.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Stuff we met.
- 1:15Speaker 4: I just want to say, just make an observation.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Who did you meet Scott Besson, Scott Pelly? Oh, Scott Pelly, Okay.
- 1:23Speaker 4: Yeah, when he was with w F A A. And
- 1:26Speaker 4: you know something happened. I mean they used several reporters
- 1:29Speaker 4: from there were up and went to d C in
- 1:32Speaker 4: various jobs. And it seems like they and we stayed
- 1:34Speaker 4: in touch over time, but not not with Scott but others.
- 1:37Speaker 4: But it seems like something happens when they go to
- 1:39Speaker 4: d C. They just totally lose their minds because in
- 1:42Speaker 4: journalism school, I started out as a reporter and they
- 1:44Speaker 4: told you, you know, you're just to get both sides
- 1:47Speaker 4: of the story and what the public or the reader
- 1:49Speaker 4: decide what the truth is. And it's like they forget
- 1:52Speaker 4: that when they go to d C. I don't know
- 1:54Speaker 4: what happens they go national.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Just an observation, Well, Ron, great, call call us again sometime. Yeah,
- 1:59Speaker 1: Well they become these left wing CBS people and then
- 2:03Speaker 1: that's bad enough.
- 2:04Speaker 3: But.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Then Trump comes along and he just sets them off.
- 2:09Speaker 1: It's Trump the arrangement syndrome. They just go They feel
- 2:11Speaker 1: that he is so evil that they have to take
- 2:14Speaker 1: the gloves off and do whatever they have to do
- 2:16Speaker 1: to get this guy. Mind me to talk about that later.
- 2:19Speaker 1: How this CBS was always a little left wing, but
- 2:21Speaker 1: what happened it was really Dan rather that changed everything. Well,
- 2:24Speaker 1: we'll get to that coming up. Let's go to Mara
- 2:27Speaker 1: in Nevada. Mara, how you doing so good?
- 2:30Speaker 5: Chile? Vincent Mark Trump has been a brilliant negotiator most
- 2:34Speaker 5: of his life, but he's been negotiating with brick and mortar.
- 2:38Speaker 5: Brick and mortar does not bleed, Brick and mortar does
- 2:41Speaker 5: not die. He's not a wartime president. He doesn't know
- 2:45Speaker 5: how to go in and have innocent people killed. He
- 2:48Speaker 5: can't do it marketing right, Well, I think.
- 2:50Speaker 1: You're getting a little a little over the top there
- 2:54Speaker 1: with all of that. Now, listen, he's been pretty good
- 2:57Speaker 1: at a wartime president, and he's been pretty good at
- 3:00Speaker 1: military stuff. You have a good point in that. All
- 3:03Speaker 1: his life he's a brilliant negotiator, but he's been negotiating
- 3:06Speaker 1: with business people, with real estate developers, with unions. It's
- 3:11Speaker 1: business he's never had to negotiate with fanatical lunatics that
- 3:15Speaker 1: aren't in a business, so that you're right, that's a
- 3:17Speaker 1: little different. But he'll figure it out. Fsn't already. Let's
- 3:22Speaker 1: go to Rich Myrtle Beach, Rich, how you doing.
- 3:26Speaker 3: Thanks, Bakino, Matt. He's actually got a point there. I
- 3:28Speaker 3: wasn't going to bring this up. But you know, just
- 3:30Speaker 3: like you said, Trump could be too nice sometimes, like
- 3:33Speaker 3: he didn't go after Hillary once he got elected when
- 3:35Speaker 3: he really should have gone after that foundation. But you
- 3:37Speaker 3: know the point you're making about CBS. You know, I
- 3:41Speaker 3: haven't watched anything unless it's a major sporting event. It's
- 3:44Speaker 3: probably been fifteen twenty twenty five years since I've watched
- 3:47Speaker 3: anything on a lamestream media network CBS, NBC, ABC, There's
- 3:52Speaker 3: absolutely nothing to watch. The sitcoms to horrible zealing to
- 3:56Speaker 3: watch in those stations unless it's an actual major sporting event.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Let me think, is there anything I watch on network TV?
- 4:03Speaker 1: I mean I watched the news, watch, I watched the
- 4:07Speaker 1: Sunday shows. I don't know why nobody else does.
- 4:10Speaker 3: I don't know why you're doing. I still love the
- 4:12Speaker 3: McLaughlin group in the old days. I used to love
- 4:14Speaker 3: John McLaughlin.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Oh, I'll tell you the only thing I watched Blue Bloods.
- 4:17Speaker 1: That was the one thing I watched, and now I
- 4:19Speaker 1: watch Boston Blue. It's not the same. But that's.
- 4:24Speaker 3: Like you said, Mark, is no reason to watch sixty
- 4:27Speaker 3: minutes anymore. There's no reason to watch anything on network
- 4:30Speaker 3: TV with ten million channels on direct TV, Dish, or
- 4:33Speaker 3: even on cable.
- 4:34Speaker 1: Yeah, well, you're right, that's a very good point. Let's
- 4:37Speaker 1: go to George in Connecticut. George, how you doing.
- 4:41Speaker 2: I am doing very well. Thank you for taking my call.
- 4:43Speaker 2: I wanted to share something that my wife shared with
- 4:46Speaker 2: me just last night that gave a different perspective on
- 4:49Speaker 2: why Trump is not quote finishing the job. And I
- 4:53Speaker 2: think one of the reasons is that Trump wants to
- 4:55Speaker 2: get a coalition in the Gulf countries to come together
- 4:59Speaker 2: and enjoy the Abraham Accords, and the best way to
- 5:02Speaker 2: do that is by allowing what's going on over there
- 5:05Speaker 2: so that it motivates Kuwait, buff Rain, all these other
- 5:11Speaker 2: ghost hunters. They've been joined the thing and.
- 5:13Speaker 1: They've been working on Apparently they had Kuwait and Cutter
- 5:16Speaker 1: ready to go. This is about two three weeks ago
- 5:18Speaker 1: and then they all backed out at the last minute.
- 5:20Speaker 1: But he's also waiting because this is a good situation
- 5:23Speaker 1: for us. It's totally totally draining the economy, the finances,
- 5:27Speaker 1: everything in Iran. So the longer we wait, the more
- 5:30Speaker 1: it hurts them. But anytime we want, we can finish it.
- 5:33Speaker 2: It provides additional motivation for them to join the Abraham Accords.
- 5:37Speaker 2: And I think, by the way, that also is one
- 5:38Speaker 2: of the reasons why he was mad at bebe Nut
- 5:40Speaker 2: and Yahoo by getting into Lebanon, and not just the
- 5:44Speaker 2: hes blogos.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Okay, but that's been taken out of context, that whole
- 5:48Speaker 1: I mean, he did yell at he's cursey h And
- 5:51Speaker 1: as he pointed out, he does that all the time
- 5:53Speaker 1: with everybody. You know, he's using the effort. Are you
- 5:55Speaker 1: effing crazy? What the f is wrong? That's normal conversation.
- 5:59Speaker 1: He does that all the time with everybody, and every
- 6:02Speaker 1: president does behind the scenes. In fact, there was a
- 6:05Speaker 1: famous Netnall who was in the Oval office and Clinton
- 6:08Speaker 1: told him off, cursing and screaming right in front of everybody.
- 6:11Speaker 1: It happens all the time. Hey, when we come back,
- 6:15Speaker 1: we hope the brilliant Steve Moore will be with us
- 6:18Speaker 1: next the great economists. We'll talk to him in a
- 6:20Speaker 1: moment on seven to ten wor
