Kia Tellurides from 2020 to 2024 are under urgent recall—over 462,000 vehicles could catch fire due to a faulty front power seat slide cover. If bumped, the switch can dislodge, causing the seat motor to run nonstop, overheat, and ignite. Seven fires and 11 melted motors have already been reported. Owners must park vehicles away from buildings until fixed. Kia will notify owners after August 13th with a free fix: a new electronic fuse assembly.
