• 0:32
Speaker 1: Thank you again for having me.
• 0:33
  Speaker 1: I know it's been.
• 0:37
Speaker 1: Oh, it's been a few weeks, not last episode.
• 0:38
Speaker 1: Aidan was not on.
• 0:39
Speaker 1: Be shared if you do see it very soon Episode of his thoughts of the last two rounds.
• 0:45
Speaker 1: We're going to do 1920 in this episode.
• 0:48
Speaker 1: So let's get on the way with round 1918 and I will share quarter by quarter or best player, just listen out.
• 0:58
Speaker 1: Let's get on with game one, round 19, where the marbles stain for those Essendon bombers, high scoring against those will improve surprising LA Crows.
• 1:07
  Speaker 1: Game 1, round 19,.
• 1:08
Speaker 1: We have the Marble Stain for those Essendon.
• 1:09
Speaker 3: Bombers, high scoring against those will improve.
• 1:11
  Speaker 3: Surprising LA Crows.
• 1:12
Speaker 1: Aidan, time for your thoughts for Game 1, Bombers vs Crows.
• 1:13
Speaker 1: Now it's time for Aidan to share Game 1, Essendon and LA Aidan.
• 1:17
Speaker 2: Thank you very much, ben.
• 1:18
Speaker 2: So we're going to start Game 1 of round 19.
• 1:21
Speaker 2: As we always do, we go quarter by quarter.
• 1:23
Speaker 2: Bombers' first, first quarter three goals, two.
• 1:28
Speaker 2: The crows respond to three, so essendon leading by five, five and a quarter time.
• 1:31
Speaker 2: Second quarter the crows big big quarter.
• 1:33
Speaker 2: They go out to 11-4.
• 1:36
Speaker 2: Bombers get get up to 7-5 at the big break.
• 1:39
Speaker 2: Bombers come out of the half with a chance to respond.
• 1:42
Speaker 2: They go to 15.
• 1:43
Speaker 2: That crows are only able to add two to go to 13, 10 and then in the final quarter it got into a little bit of a slugfest, the bombers going to 17, 11, 113, the crows, however, 17, 13, 115.
• 1:57
Speaker 2: This is a big win for the crow.
• 2:00
Speaker 2: These are the games.
• 2:01
Speaker 2: They're going to set them up for next season.
• 2:02
Speaker 2: This, this is the time that they can go, maybe next year this year they're done.
• 2:06
Speaker 2: There is no way they are playing finals this year, but next year they're going to be right on if they play like this every week.
• 2:12
Speaker 2: As for the, Bombers their season I think their season's done too.
• 2:15
Speaker 2: They've fallen from the top four out of the eight in the recent weeks, and this is just another poor performance from them.
• 2:22
Speaker 3: BJ time for your thoughts.
• 2:23
Speaker 3: For Game 1 Bombers vs Crows.
• 2:29
Speaker 1: Yep, thank you, aidan, for your interesting thoughts and as well for these mighty Crows and those Bombers.
• 2:33
Speaker 1: So yeah, look, wow, I've got to say wow, it was a dinner.
• 2:37
Speaker 1: I had to tip our leg.
• 2:39
Speaker 1: That was there was a lot of our late fans were like this was a show-off.
• 2:44
Speaker 1: We want to get that revenge.
• 2:46
Speaker 1: But yes, we lost against Essendon early in the season, a few rounds ago and even a bit more than that back in April, roughly about that.
• 2:55
Speaker 1: But anyway, moving forward, look, essendon came out fine and you want to stay at quarter time?
• 3:00
  Speaker 1: They're on.
• 3:01
Speaker 1: And boy Essendon, boy they're on.
• 3:03
Speaker 1: But it was LA.
• 3:06
Speaker 1: From the second quarter.
• 3:06
Speaker 1: They wow, I was just.
• 3:08
  Speaker 1: Well done.
• 3:08
Speaker 1: Accuracy, well done, your best game.
• 3:11
Speaker 1: But the second half not as great.
• 3:14
Speaker 1: But I would take a game like six goals nine for the second half to Essendon's 10 goals four.
• 3:22
Speaker 1: So we did lose five points in the second half overall.
• 3:26
Speaker 1: So Essendon may have won the second half, but Josh Fraschelli and I had a photo with this amazing legend.
• 3:33
Speaker 1: He has come and set up a game play that it was going to win the game and it did.
• 3:41
Speaker 1: In about 52 seconds Essendon had a chance and won that game.
• 3:47
Speaker 1: I don't know, they won the.
• 3:48
Speaker 1: They won the cleanses.
• 3:50
Speaker 1: Easy to sack them out of the inside 50s.
• 3:52
Speaker 1: Boom, and then we just got, gave them two behind.
• 3:55
Speaker 1: So it was a really quick response to Essendon.
• 3:58
Speaker 1: They're very quick like that.
• 4:00
Speaker 1: But with Essendon, look, you know, it know it happens big time.
• 4:03
Speaker 1: You're in trouble now.
• 4:04
Speaker 1: You know you've got the lowest percentage in the top four for so many weeks.
• 4:09
Speaker 1: Now you're out of the top eight.
• 4:10
  Speaker 1: It's awful.
• 4:11
Speaker 1: Western Bulldogs they want it now more.
• 4:15
Speaker 1: This is now the time to show up and play your full quarters of football.
• 4:19
Speaker 1: You know we'll share those teams later in the episode of these next two rounds, but Essendon, just keep trying.
• 4:26
  Speaker 1: Heads up.
• 4:27
Speaker 1: Play well next week.
• 4:28
Speaker 1: Well, now we're done being on Friday night footy in Melbourne at Marble Stone.
• 4:33
Speaker 1: We're going to now head on to the plane from Sydney.
• 4:37
Speaker 1: We're going to go to west of Sydney with the.
• 4:48
Speaker 3: Giants and the Suns BJ time for your thoughts for Game 2, giants vs Suns.
• 4:55
Speaker 1: We've got GWS Giants hosting Gold Coast.
• 4:58
Speaker 1: Now let's just break it down.
• 5:00
Speaker 1: Gold Coast are the I'm going to say this, one in one worst team in the NFL for travelling.
• 5:07
Speaker 1: Now, overall, the only team that like Gold Coast to travel is to go to Perth, and Drew, that's a win in itself.
• 5:17
Speaker 1: But going to the Screamers in Sydney, and that's a top eight team, oh boy.
• 5:22
Speaker 1: It was a disappointing start, but we'll go quarter quick 5 goals to Giants, 2 goals to Suns, with the 3 goals to 2 A bit better, but it was more poor accuracy for Gold Coast.
• 5:34
Speaker 1: Then it comes to the second half.
• 5:36
Speaker 1: Not much 2 goals to 0 to Gold Coast, not kick one, and 4 goals to 2.
• 5:42
Speaker 1: So that was overall A 39 point win.
• 5:45
Speaker 1: You know it was gonna happen or not.
• 5:48
Speaker 1: Gold coast have not let that team against them to score 100 plus.
• 5:52
Speaker 1: They've done that quite recent.
• 5:54
Speaker 1: And this is this season.
• 5:55
Speaker 1: I'm a new coach, you're getting better, but not you've got to win those.
• 5:59
Speaker 1: And when it comes to close the finals, my advice set going in next year, look out Gold Coast.
• 6:05
Speaker 1: This is like a.
• 6:06
Speaker 1: This is a much better look.
• 6:09
Speaker 1: Gold Coast are in the contest more than just giving up.
• 6:12
Speaker 1: You know Gold Coast are now are not giving up 10 back.
• 6:15
Speaker 1: Anyway, we'll just share this player and I'll show the Sam Flanders one face in fan city, 43 disposals with the seven marks to tackles.
• 6:24
Speaker 1: And we'll go to Tom Green from the Giants 1.20 fan city, 34 disposals with the seven tackles to four marks.
• 6:34
Speaker 1: Great performance, you guys play well back.
• 6:36
  Speaker 1: Great win.
• 6:37
Speaker 1: Giants Heads up Gold Coast.
• 6:39
Speaker 1: Play well next week.
• 6:40
Speaker 3: Aidan, time for your thoughts for game two Giants versus Suns.
• 6:43
Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm really kind of running out of things to say about the Gold Coast myself.
• 6:47
Speaker 2: Just like, how can you be so hot and cold, like in the AFL?
• 6:51
Speaker 2: You have to be able to win away from home to make finals.
• 6:55
Speaker 2: We're looking at this year.
• 6:56
  Speaker 2: We're saying 14 is safe.
• 6:59
Speaker 2: You're 11 at home and 12 on the road.
• 7:02
Speaker 2: That's not going to cut it.
• 7:03
  Speaker 2: 14, you need 14 genuinely.
• 7:05
Speaker 2: You cannot put up that kind of effort at afl level where you are constantly behind teams who could be beating if you're away but if you're at home you smash it.
• 7:16
Speaker 2: My, my issue with gold coast and I it's not just a damien hyde issue, it's a list issue is that their top talent is so good they could win a premiership for any of the other teams in the competition but then the bottom falls out.
• 7:28
Speaker 2: They have very minimal depth and this is something I hope they address in the offseason because that'll set them up for next year so they can get, if we're looking at, another 14 win season.
• 7:37
Speaker 2: That'll set them up well for next year.
• 7:38
Speaker 2: For GWS, just business as usual for them.
• 7:41
Speaker 2: The orange tsunami came, it hit Gold Coast couldn't stop it.
• 7:44
Speaker 2: My top player of the game, lockie Whitfield from GWS 145 AFL fantasy 40 disposals with 21 kicks, 19 handballs, 10 marks and 5 tackles.
• 7:55
Speaker 1: Let's get back on the plane from the west of Sydney Now we're going back to Melbourne.
• 8:02
Speaker 1: Let's get on the plane right now.
• 8:04
Speaker 1: We're right back in Melbourne.
• 8:17
Speaker 1: We're heading to Marble Staming For the Saints, hosting the Eagles.
• 8:20
Speaker 1: Aidan, I'll share your thoughts.
• 8:21
  Speaker 1: Take it away.
• 8:23
Speaker 3: Aidan time for your thoughts.
• 8:24
Speaker 3: For game 2 Street Kilder vs WCE.
• 8:25
Speaker 3: So for game two Street Kilda versus WCE.
• 8:26
Speaker 2: So this game was all St Kilda.
• 8:29
Speaker 2: West Coast were really never in it and I thought they'd be better.
• 8:32
Speaker 2: Actually, I tipped West Coast with this game.
• 8:34
Speaker 2: I honestly thought West Coast would do a lot better.
• 8:36
Speaker 2: We'll go quarter by quarter St Kilda three goals in the first, to West Coast, two goals, so to West Coast, two goals.
• 8:41
Speaker 2: So I thought you know West Coast, we had a chance here, pretty even.
• 8:43
Speaker 2: And then the rest of the game St Kilda just run over the top of the road Seven by half time to four for West Coast.
• 8:49
Speaker 2: St Kilda 10 and three quarter time to five for West Coast.
• 8:52
Speaker 2: And then the final quarter they kick seven to go to 17,.
• 8:55
  Speaker 2: 11, 113.
• 8:57
Speaker 2: West Coast kicking one goal in the final term as well, going to 6-5-41.
• 9:02
Speaker 2: This was, as I said, disappointing for West Coast.
• 9:04
Speaker 2: I thought they'd do a lot better and this is just unacceptable, just falling back into old pattern.
• 9:09
Speaker 2: New coach, new start.
• 9:10
Speaker 2: You've got to be able to reset and go again every week.
• 9:13
  Speaker 2: Now.
• 9:14
Speaker 2: St Kilda yes, their season's over, but these are the big wins that build confidence.
• 9:18
Speaker 2: Same as for Adelaide.
• 9:19
Speaker 2: These are the big wins that build confidence for teams who are out now but they can set up for next year.
• 9:24
Speaker 2: So my top player for the game, I'm gonna go with st kilda's tim membrey, 154 fantasy point, five goals for the game 23 touches, 18 kicks, five handballs, 10 marks and seven tackles bj time for your thoughts.
• 9:37
Speaker 1: For game three street kilda versus wce well, yeah, now bj's time To share his thoughts.
• 9:44
Speaker 1: And boy, this was a west coast, not the greats.
• 9:48
Speaker 1: A big road trip From Perth that come To To Melbourne and New Harbour, st Kilda Want to bounce back From that loss, against, against.
• 9:59
Speaker 1: Anyway, we'll share that Very shortly, right now.
• 10:02
Speaker 1: So that loss Against LA and that terrible Wet condition, I can tell you Not.
• 10:07
Speaker 1: We'll share that very shortly, right now.
• 10:08
Speaker 1: So that loss against LA, that terrible wet condition, I can tell you Not.
• 10:10
Speaker 1: Best win for St Kilda.
• 10:10
Speaker 1: They started well, then they went flat and you have LA back to back wins Going on to against West Coast.
• 10:15
Speaker 1: Look, you knew how good you wanted to win and you did well, by a quarter, by a quarter, it was all St Kilda.
• 10:22
  Speaker 1: You did well.
• 10:23
Speaker 1: And, yeah, now, regardless to not regardless of my best player yet to be all right, let's get to the next game.
• 10:31
Speaker 1: We're staying in melbourne, that's it.
• 10:33
Speaker 1: We're going for marble staving and we're going to have a nice exercise and we're going to now go over to the mcg.
• 10:41
Speaker 1: For the mining hawks, the improve against the Mining Premieres, collingwood Map Eyes.
• 10:48
Speaker 3: BJ time for your thoughts for game four Hawthorne versus Collingwood.
• 10:51
Speaker 1: They are the happy king at Hawthorne.
• 10:54
  Speaker 1: A big win 11 goals, 66.
• 10:57
  Speaker 1: Clickety-click 66.
• 10:59
Speaker 1: That's how much Hawthorne won.
• 11:02
Speaker 1: Wow done, they are coming.
• 11:05
Speaker 1: If they do not make finals this year, they are back and there's no Barry Franklin in it.
• 11:12
Speaker 1: This is a new line-up Hawthorne side, and I will you know.
• 11:17
Speaker 1: I'll just do a very brief quarter by quarter.
• 11:19
Speaker 1: Three goals to one in the opening quarter, so well done to Hawthorne.
• 11:24
Speaker 1: Added on to the other four goals, coningwood kicked themselves out of the game with seven behinds.
• 11:30
Speaker 1: They are not the point you cannot be.
• 11:33
Speaker 1: You know, now coming that Coningwood will now not make finals.
• 11:37
Speaker 1: You know this is what you call a hangover.
• 11:39
Speaker 1: Geelong went through that.
• 11:41
Speaker 1: Coningwood now finally going go through that.
• 11:43
Speaker 1: So we come to the third quarter.
• 11:45
Speaker 1: It was a matter of five goals, two, three goals, a little bit better, but not enough.
• 11:49
Speaker 1: But we come to the final quarter.
• 11:51
Speaker 1: Eight goals, two, five, lots of goals.
• 11:54
Speaker 1: We all love goals, do we?
• 11:56
Speaker 1: And it was all but four behind for the whole quarter, but three behind for the four behind went to the hall and one behind, you apologize, that is the quick behind.
• 12:06
Speaker 1: So well done to Hawthorne, you are back.
• 12:09
Speaker 1: You know how good you are.
• 12:11
Speaker 1: We, we can see you have shocked the comp, knowing how good you can play conningwood season's over.
• 12:17
  Speaker 1: Just we bounce.
• 12:18
Speaker 1: You've got lots of injuries, even a small or big lot of injuries.
• 12:22
Speaker 1: Well done on Hawthorne's performance.
• 12:25
Speaker 1: Take off, move on.
• 12:26
Speaker 1: Honeywood, heads up, move on next week.
• 12:29
  Speaker 1: Best on ground.
• 12:29
Speaker 1: I would like to introduce is to the captain, james Sinclair.
• 12:35
Speaker 1: Mate, well done on your performance.
• 12:37
Speaker 1: You've been very well, great, great year so far.
• 12:41
Speaker 1: This could be amazing, just in your this season.
• 12:44
  Speaker 1: They're coming in Hawthorne's slowly.
• 12:47
Speaker 1: A very, very, very like not a long rebuilding.
• 12:50
Speaker 1: It was a very short rebuilding and it was only a couple years.
• 12:53
Speaker 1: Well done to Hawthorne on the win and well, collingwood, move on Next week.
• 12:58
Speaker 1: Over the year, aidan, wish you all thoughts for the Hawks and the Pies.
• 13:02
Speaker 3: Aidan, time for your thoughts.
• 13:03
Speaker 3: For game four Hawthorne versus Collingwood.
• 13:09
Speaker 2: If someone had told me at the start of the year that we'd be at round 19 and Hawthorne were beating Collingwood by 66 points, I would not have believed you.
• 13:16
Speaker 2: Collingwood should have just run over the field again like they did last year and Hawthorne were set to suffer again.
• 13:22
Speaker 2: But Hawthorne, for some reason, they've turned the corner very sharply and very quickly and these guys believe in themselves.
• 13:29
Speaker 2: These guys are having fun when they're playing footy.
• 13:32
Speaker 2: These guys are going back to the old school footy when they were growing up, playing just for fun and having a great time doing it.
• 13:37
Speaker 2: Now, if that's what keeps you ticking, then good on them, and really they should.
• 13:41
Speaker 2: They really could be in the A this year out of nowhere.
• 13:44
Speaker 2: They could be in the A this year.
• 13:45
Speaker 2: If not, they'll probably be in the A next year and they are a dangerous team when they get in the A.
• 13:49
Speaker 2: My best player for the night was the disruptor, jack Jennifer.
• 13:53
Speaker 2: Whether you like him or you hate him, you have to admit that boy has talent and against the Pies he went 122 fantasy with two goals won, 31 touches, 14 kicks, 17 handballs, five marks and five tackles absolutely class from a small forward in modern afl football now it's time to get back on the plane.
• 14:13
Speaker 1: We're being in melbourne for a double header from marble to the mcg.
• 14:16
Speaker 1: Now we're going to head to the outlet oval.
• 14:19
Speaker 1: We have the power hosting the tigers.
• 14:22
Speaker 1: Let's get on the plane and let's find out what happens to this game.
• 14:25
Speaker 1: Aiden, it's time to show.
• 14:37
Speaker 1: We have made it Also in Adelaide, adelaide Oval.
• 14:41
  Speaker 1: We have arrived.
• 14:42
Speaker 1: Aiden, it's time for your thoughts.
• 14:44
  Speaker 1: Take it away.
• 14:44
Speaker 1: A it's time for your thoughts.
• 14:46
  Speaker 1: Take it away.
• 14:46
Speaker 3: Aidan, time for your thoughts for Game 5, Port Adelaide versus Richmond.
• 14:50
Speaker 2: All right, this was a really good game for the first half, and then Port put the foot down.
• 14:56
Speaker 2: So first half, first quarter, Port Adelaide four goals to Richmond three goals.
• 15:00
Speaker 2: Second quarter Port Adelaide kicked another three goals and Richmond also kicked another three goals.
• 15:06
Speaker 2: Second quarter port adelaide kicked another three goals and richmond also kicked another three goals.
• 15:08
Speaker 2: So poor were up by a goal and two points, so eight points at the main break, and then poor decided to put the foot down.
• 15:13
Speaker 2: A bit five goals in the third to power, five goals in the third also to richmond.
• 15:17
Speaker 2: So again staying in it, but power just starting to creep away.
• 15:21
Speaker 2: And then in the final quarter, four goals to the power and eight behinds.
• 15:25
Speaker 2: But we won't worry about that because they won the game comprehensively, with richmond only managing one behind in the final term.
• 15:33
Speaker 2: I think port was shocked by this.
• 15:34
Speaker 2: I was shocked by this that richmond were able to hang on in there for about three and a bit quarters, and it just shows that richmond do have the talent and they are a dangerous side still.
• 15:42
Speaker 2: They just need to be able to finish games up poor.
• 15:45
Speaker 2: I just I know how good they can be.
• 15:47
Speaker 2: We've seen their highs.
• 15:48
Speaker 2: We've also seen their lows this year.
• 15:50
Speaker 2: We don't know what port shows up on the day and I think we had the not so good point in the first half and then the better poor in the second half, which really saved the game for them.
• 15:59
Speaker 2: I will give my player of the game award to chase Burgoyne with 24 touches, 116 kicks, 8 handballs, 4 marks, 7 tackles and 107 fantasy.
• 16:10
Speaker 3: BJ time for your thoughts for Game 5 Port Adelaide vs Richmond.
• 16:14
Speaker 1: Well, well done to Port Adelaide.
• 16:16
Speaker 1: But you know it's bad kick against bad football.
• 16:18
Speaker 1: But winning those points can win games and you did it.
• 16:22
  Speaker 1: 36 scoring shots, say 20.
• 16:25
Speaker 1: That is 16 scoring shots.
• 16:27
  Speaker 1: That's 20 behind in overall.
• 16:30
Speaker 1: You know, overall 20 points equals 20 scoring shots.
• 16:34
Speaker 1: So that's almost double for what they win.
• 16:38
Speaker 1: But Richmond, good effort.
• 16:39
Speaker 1: Look, I think Richmond, like mentioned, they'll stay in that contest.
• 16:44
Speaker 1: They keep basically for the half of six goals and a mother five in the second half.
• 16:50
Speaker 1: So overall they did lost it quite a bit, but it is what it is Credit to Port.
• 16:57
Speaker 1: That is the game.
• 16:58
Speaker 1: They need to get back into the game.
• 16:59
Speaker 1: This is finals for them If they want to play finals.
• 17:04
Speaker 1: They've got some good teams coming up.
• 17:06
Speaker 1: We'll share very soon.
• 17:07
Speaker 1: There is massive shocks in the competition in the A440 TV.
• 17:11
Speaker 1: I will share in the awards show at the end of the season.
• 17:15
Speaker 1: I cannot wait to share the win of that as well.
• 17:18
Speaker 1: The A440 Fancy is a new thing coming in.
• 17:21
Speaker 1: Look out for your of the voting.
• 17:23
Speaker 1: We'll be getting that sorted.
• 17:25
Speaker 1: But yeah, just well done.
• 17:27
Speaker 1: Aiden's done the quarter by quarter.
• 17:29
Speaker 1: But look, you can't get.
• 17:30
Speaker 1: This is the player I really like to share absolute dominated overall.
• 17:35
Speaker 1: Goodness, my goodness may not hit a lot of disposals.
• 17:39
Speaker 1: Five tackles, two marks.
• 17:40
Speaker 1: This fella's named j Sweet Well done.
• 17:44
Speaker 1: 43 head outs, absolute, dominated for Port Adelaide.
• 17:48
Speaker 1: So this is the kind of young ruck man that comes into the team and dominates against a no-purpose captain from Richmond.
• 17:56
Speaker 1: Fortunately he was subbed out.
• 17:57
Speaker 1: It was 23 head outs, but it was 91.
• 18:00
Speaker 1: It's cold, we're getting out of Adelaide.
• 18:02
Speaker 1: We're getting back to Melbourne as well.
• 18:03
Speaker 1: It's cold, we're getting out of Adelaide.
• 18:04
Speaker 3: We're getting back to Melbourne as well.
• 18:05
Speaker 3: It's freezing as well, so let's go on the phone right now as we go.
• 18:08
Speaker 3: One step away, richmond, keep trying, as I wish the world.
• 18:14
Speaker 1: We're okay in the second half of the year.
• 18:16
Speaker 1: So well done once again to the Port Adelaide Footy Club.
• 18:19
Speaker 1: Richmond Footy Club Heads up Playroom.
• 18:21
Speaker 1: Next week we're back in Melbourne.
• 18:34
Speaker 1: Let's jump on to the train if we can get on.
• 18:37
  Speaker 1: Lol.
• 18:38
Speaker 1: Now we're travelling down from Melbourne.
• 18:40
  Speaker 1: Now we're here.
• 18:41
  Speaker 1: Go to Jollof.
• 18:42
Speaker 1: We're going on the train right now we have now arrived safely in Geelong.
• 19:21
  Speaker 1: man, it's, it's cold.
• 19:23
Speaker 1: Anyway, we have arrived at GMHBA Stadium in Geelong.
• 19:29
Speaker 1: We've got the mighty, sexy Geelong Cats, I stink the mighty Western Bulldogs, as known as Fort Scray Bulldogs.
• 19:38
Speaker 1: So myself, as known as BJ, will share those thoughts.
• 19:42
Speaker 1: Let's go and take it away.
• 19:44
Speaker 1: Well let's get on the way for this game.
• 19:47
Speaker 1: Wow, jalon Setse, not Setse, dana Jalon, how can I record this 10 Jalon?
• 19:53
Speaker 1: Not very good this season, I think.
• 19:56
Speaker 1: Down at home there have been some massive upsets, some big wins, but wins they need to win.
• 20:02
Speaker 1: They're in the top four, back in that top eight.
• 20:04
Speaker 1: They cannot slip these games and we'll share just briefly, just quarter by quarter.
• 20:11
Speaker 1: You know, bulldogs, western Bulldogs, fourth grade Bulldogs came out two goals a nil.
• 20:16
Speaker 1: This was not Geelong.
• 20:18
Speaker 1: I have seen the sexy Geelong cats there.
• 20:21
Speaker 1: We come to the second quarter where Western Bulldogs fought straight.
• 20:26
Speaker 1: My goodness, two goals, seven.
• 20:28
  Speaker 1: Two goals, one.
• 20:30
Speaker 1: And they still won the quarter.
• 20:32
Speaker 1: Bulldogs, second half five goals to four.
• 20:36
Speaker 1: We love lots of goals, but more points went to the Bulldogs.
• 20:39
Speaker 1: They kicked themselves out of the game.
• 20:41
Speaker 1: But it was not enough for Geelong.
• 20:44
Speaker 1: Once again they did in the second quarter and the opening quarter Zero, but only two behind Fort Scrape Bulldogs five goals, two.
• 20:53
Speaker 1: That was a much better quarter.
• 20:55
Speaker 1: Well done your performance.
• 20:56
  Speaker 1: Bad luck.
• 20:57
  Speaker 1: Geelong Not set.
• 20:58
Speaker 1: Unfortunately this was a game for Geelong.
• 21:01
Speaker 1: They are slipping away.
• 21:02
Speaker 1: Fort Scrape Bulldogs are back in town.
• 21:03
Speaker 1: This was a game for Geelong.
• 21:04
Speaker 1: They are slipping away.
• 21:05
Speaker 1: Fort Scrape Bulldogs are back in town.
• 21:06
Speaker 1: This was the game they want to win and they did it.
• 21:09
Speaker 1: It was not an easy trip.
• 21:11
Speaker 1: You go to Adelaide, you go to Perth, you go down to Geelong.
• 21:14
Speaker 1: Boom, got to be the best game and you did it.
• 21:17
Speaker 1: Well, Geelong heads up, Play well next week.
• 21:20
Speaker 1: My best player Now there was a few going to be interested Adam Tour, well done 149 fantasy with the three goals, 31 disposals, 19 kicks, 12 handballs With an 8 tackle, 6 marks.
• 21:35
Speaker 1: So that's my thoughts from the best player from the mighty Geelong Cats and Fort Scray.
• 21:41
Speaker 3: Aidan, time for your thoughts for Game 6 Geelong versus Western Bulldogs.
• 21:45
Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I don't know what happened here.
• 21:48
Speaker 2: I thought Geelong were pretty safe in this one Down at Cadenia Park, their home, their fortress.
• 21:53
Speaker 2: It actually looks like a fortress now as well, with a point and a two stand.
• 21:56
Speaker 2: It got out of hand very quickly for them and this is one of the dogs of grab to keep their finals chances alive and put themselves into the eight for the next couple of weeks.
• 22:06
Speaker 2: This is football at its finest, where you don't know what's going on, you don't know who's going to win and the games, while not always close, are surprising and shocking.
• 22:15
Speaker 2: The best player for me, I think, has to be this the doggy standout, ruckman, tim English.
• 22:20
Speaker 2: Just another 41 hit out game for him.
• 22:22
Speaker 2: Him only had 17 touches of the ball with nine, nine kicks, eight handballs, five marks, four tackles and 116 fantasy, but 41 hit outs.
• 22:29
Speaker 2: That is Tim English doing as Tim English does and he is a key cog in the doggies machine.
• 22:34
Speaker 2: So they will keep going.
• 22:36
Speaker 2: Geelong I'm starting to get a little bit worried about, I'm thinking, that age is creeping up with them again.
• 22:41
Speaker 2: I talked about it earlier in the year, then they got it good and now it's creeping up with them again.
• 22:45
Speaker 2: I talked about it earlier in the year.
• 22:45
Speaker 2: Then they got it good and now it's creeping up on them again, because old bodies don't last 20 weeks and these young teams that are coming through, even teams sitting outside the eight like your gold coasts are gonna run over them in the next couple of years.
• 22:55
Speaker 2: So they're gonna have to do some major list moves to be where they want to be.
• 22:59
Speaker 2: And I know geelong.
• 23:00
Speaker 2: They say we can do anything as long as we get in the top eight.
• 23:02
Speaker 2: But Geelong's not a top eight side.
• 23:04
Speaker 2: Geelong is a top four side.
• 23:05
Speaker 2: Geelong is a team that are out there to win every week and want premierships every year.
• 23:10
Speaker 2: That is their DNA.
• 23:11
Speaker 2: I have not met a football club like that, apart from Collingwood and Sydney and West Coast, who are like that.
• 23:17
Speaker 2: The Doggies, however, know that rebuilding has got to be a thing and they've tried to get around it somehow.
• 23:26
Speaker 2: They have got around it.
• 23:27
Speaker 2: They've removed some players around Rory Lowe was playing good football again.
• 23:28
Speaker 2: Who believed that Rory Lowe was playing good football again this year?
• 23:31
Speaker 2: That guy should have been out of the league, but now he's back.
• 23:33
Speaker 2: He is genuinely a good player.
• 23:36
  Speaker 2: Now.
• 23:36
Speaker 2: He might not be a forward anymore.
• 23:37
Speaker 2: I think he's playing defense now, so move.
• 23:39
Speaker 2: They just keep moving guys around, and Luke Beveridge is an elite coach when it comes to moving guys around.
• 23:45
Speaker 2: He did that, winning a premiership in 2016, and I really look forward to seeing more of this from the doggies we're heading from back onto the train from geelong.
• 23:54
Speaker 1: Oh, disappointing for those money.
• 23:56
Speaker 1: Sexy geelong cats, the boar dogs, western boar dogs, fourth grade boar dogs, well done on the win.
• 24:01
Speaker 1: Let's get back on the train To Melbourne.
• 24:05
Speaker 1: Now it's time to head onto the plane from Melbourne to Brisbane.
• 24:44
Speaker 1: As we head to the gutter, as we got the mighty, this makes the game of the round.
• 24:49
Speaker 1: We got the Lions and the mighty City Swans, known as, and formerly as, south Melbourne.
• 24:55
Speaker 1: Let's go on the plane right now bj.
• 25:08
Speaker 3: Time for your thoughts.
• 25:09
Speaker 3: For game seven brisbane versus sydney.
• 25:11
Speaker 1: Wow, this is actually game of the round.
• 25:14
Speaker 1: Brisbane tick off, sydney Worried let's get quarter by quarter.
• 25:19
Speaker 1: So you'll notice when you listen to this, aidan will go first, he'll do quarter by quarter and I'll do quarter by quarter as well.
• 25:26
Speaker 1: So, look, this was a game that Sydney did start slow, but Brisbane came out five goals to one, beautiful.
• 25:34
Speaker 1: Then it went reversible, but it was two goals more.
• 25:37
Speaker 1: It was Sydney's time to show up.
• 25:39
Speaker 1: They kicked six goals to one Half time.
• 25:42
Speaker 1: It was a few points in it.
• 25:43
Speaker 1: Who can do it?
• 25:44
  Speaker 1: Let's find out.
• 25:45
Speaker 1: It was once again Sydney led the way.
• 25:47
Speaker 1: It was two goals to one.
• 25:49
Speaker 1: Now, this was going to be an interesting contest.
• 25:52
  Speaker 1: It was.
• 25:53
Speaker 1: Brisbane won it more and Chris Fagan from Brisbane has magic in his talent of coaching in his career and they did it.
• 26:00
Speaker 1: Four goals to Sydney, two goals tick off for Brisbane, two point winners and they got.
• 26:07
Speaker 1: They were down a half time and I think Sydney had more chances of winning this game.
• 26:12
Speaker 1: They kicked four goals overall from half time to five goals.
• 26:16
Speaker 1: So pretty even overall.
• 26:18
Speaker 1: Well done to brisbane on the w.
• 26:21
Speaker 1: A big win at home.
• 26:22
Speaker 1: You gotta win these games at home.
• 26:24
  Speaker 1: Enjoy it well.
• 26:25
  Speaker 1: Dan zinco.
• 26:26
Speaker 1: Well done on your performance 131 fantasy, 29 disposals with the 27 kicks, two handballs, so more kicks than handles.
• 26:35
Speaker 1: So that's what you want 12 marks, well done.
• 26:38
Speaker 1: That's a tick off with those three tackles.
• 26:40
Speaker 1: So a bit of balance.
• 26:41
Speaker 1: So well done on a big win at home to the mighty Brisbane Lions.
• 26:49
Speaker 1: Well, sydney Swans, known as formerly South Melbourne, heads up.
• 26:51
Speaker 1: Season's not over, but you care to catch that being worried because Brisbane are about to start moving up that top two.
• 26:58
Speaker 1: So they are looking very worried.
• 27:00
Speaker 3: Aidan, time for your thoughts for Game 7, Brisbane versus Sydney.
• 27:04
Speaker 2: Yeah, sydney again, just another loss.
• 27:06
Speaker 2: The sneakiest ones are no longer Premier's elect in my book.
• 27:09
Speaker 2: They are trying their best to throw away a minor Premiership and it's horrible to watch it really is.
• 27:16
Speaker 2: But at the same time it's pretty funny, because you had, you had it locked up five weeks ago and you just let the field come back to you.
• 27:22
Speaker 2: The Brisbane Lions just keep answering the questions.
• 27:25
Speaker 2: Every time someone steps up to them, they find the answer.
• 27:29
Speaker 2: Chris Fagan needs to win a premiership before he leaves Brisbane.
• 27:32
Speaker 2: He needs to cap off his coaching journey with the premiership, and maybe it could be this year.
• 27:37
Speaker 2: It wasn't last year, probably should have been last year, should be this year.
• 27:39
Speaker 2: Brisbane have a lot of young talent and I mean they've got a lot of talent across the board.
• 27:43
Speaker 2: Cam rain has suddenly come to form again.
• 27:46
Speaker 2: Will ashcroft's come back?
• 27:47
Speaker 2: Yeah, their whole list is full of talent.
• 27:50
Speaker 2: Neil, that's another good one.
• 27:51
Speaker 2: The big o I'll get to in a minute.
• 27:53
Speaker 2: Full weds are always dangerous.
• 27:56
Speaker 2: Whether it's Charlie or Danaher or Hipwood, someone's going to get you and if they don't, someone else will.
• 28:02
Speaker 2: But as I said, I'll get to the big O.
• 28:04
Speaker 2: He is my player of the game 27 hit outs, 22 touches, 11 kicks, 11 handballs, 5 marks and 3 tackles for 105.
• 28:13
Speaker 2: Fantasy for the big O.
• 28:14
Speaker 1: I've long travelled from Brisbane to perth, so we're gonna view melbourne, so let's go on the plane back to melbourne.
• 28:21
Speaker 1: Now we have arrived in melbourne, let's get onto the plane from well, melbourne to Perth.
• 28:38
Speaker 1: It's been a long, tired trip.
• 28:51
Speaker 1: Now let's get to Otterstone for the Dockers, up against the mighty Melbourne Demons.
• 28:58
Speaker 1: Aidan, I'll let you share your thoughts on the mighty Dockers and those hot, poor Demons.
• 29:03
Speaker 1: Just the Melbourne Demons.
• 29:05
Speaker 3: Aidan, time for your thoughts for Game 8, Fremantle versus Melbourne.
• 29:08
Speaker 2: The deadly Dockers are at it again this week against the Melbourne Demons, and they came out hot to start 3 goals, 5 to 2 points in the first quarter.
• 29:19
Speaker 2: In the second they had another 4 goals.
• 29:21
Speaker 2: Melbourne finally get a major on the board with 3.
• 29:23
Speaker 2: Fremantle decent lead at half time and then they let it run 4 goals to 3 in the third term in favour of Fremantle.
• 29:32
Speaker 2: And then 6 goals, 4 in the final, again in favour of Fremantle.
• 29:36
Speaker 2: As then six goals, four in the final, again in favour of Fremantle.
• 29:38
Speaker 2: As they run out 50-point winners 116-66 over Melbourne.
• 29:42
Speaker 2: Fremantle had this game from start to finish.
• 29:45
Speaker 2: Melbourne had some big outs.
• 29:47
Speaker 2: Petraca out for the rest of the year.
• 29:48
Speaker 2: Gorn was out of this week's game.
• 29:50
Speaker 2: I think he may have made a bit of a difference, but I don't see Gorn making up a 50-point difference, even though he's quite good.
• 30:02
Speaker 2: Melbourne I've always said it you're getting further and further away from another premiership and it looks like you're not going to make it into the top eight at this point.
• 30:06
Speaker 2: And I'm sorry, but I made that call, I stick by it and it's looking pretty good right now.
• 30:10
Speaker 2: My player of the game there can only be one, that's Andy Brayshaw, with 41 touches with 17 kicks, 24 handballs, 3 tackles and 120 fantasy points.
• 30:23
Speaker 3: BJ time for your thoughts for Game 8, fremantle versus Melbourne.
• 30:27
Speaker 1: Well, that's the answer for Melbourne, but we'll get to them.
• 30:30
  Speaker 1: Look.
• 30:30
Speaker 1: Well done to Fremantle.
• 30:33
Speaker 1: I've been laughing in the back.
• 30:34
Speaker 2: Good job on Melbourne.
• 30:35
Speaker 2: They're throwing this one in the bin.
• 30:36
Speaker 2: They're throwingidan laughing in the background.
• 30:37
Speaker 2: Good job on Melma.
• 30:37
Speaker 2: They're throwing this one in the bin.
• 30:38
Speaker 2: They're throwing their season in the bin.
• 30:39
Speaker 1: Alright, well done to Friantel.
• 30:42
Speaker 1: Accuracy is well okay.
• 30:45
Speaker 1: You know, well done.
• 30:46
Speaker 1: You know in front of your home, you know you're good, you're back, you're in the top three, top four.
• 30:53
Speaker 1: Even don't lose the opportunity.
• 30:55
Speaker 1: You know you get out of that, you're in trouble.
• 30:57
Speaker 1: You know you want to get that second chance.
• 30:59
Speaker 1: You want to host games, make to the granny and win that apprenticeship.
• 31:03
Speaker 1: I'd love to see it.
• 31:04
Speaker 1: It's been too long, almost 20 years that, or roughly of that, if I've got my corrections that free until has been the afl have never made and won an actual apprenticeship.
• 31:16
Speaker 1: But they, they did make a grand final.
• 31:17
Speaker 1: Unfortunately made the grand final, not completing that as a W, it's an effort.
• 31:22
Speaker 1: They made it and you know there was a lot going on Through that week where Matthew Pavlicek Used to play back then.
• 31:29
Speaker 1: So in his later days With Melbourne look it's.
• 31:32
Speaker 1: Aidan said Slipping away.
• 31:34
Speaker 1: Slipping away Is not a nice way to word it.
• 31:37
Speaker 1: Yes, you drop injuries, you got your stars out.
• 31:41
Speaker 1: One thing about it is Melbourne are not near playing finals.
• 31:46
Speaker 1: This is the rebuild and you've got to be smart with rebuilding.
• 31:49
Speaker 1: Don't slip the rebuilding 20 years later to make a grand final or final.
• 31:54
Speaker 1: You know you can't like it's at match school and playing.
• 31:58
Speaker 1: You know, you know it doesn't.
• 31:59
Speaker 1: One player doesn't win a game of football.
• 32:01
Speaker 1: A team of 18 wins a game of football.
• 32:04
Speaker 1: So that's making into my best on ground.
• 32:07
Speaker 1: So look, there's a few and a lot where michael waters kicked four goals.
• 32:13
Speaker 3: Only three fans, we're now heading from Perth to Melbourne, as we're now getting back on the plane as for that, let's go on the plane right now, including those 16 disposals.
• 32:25
Speaker 1: Eight kicks make it work.
• 32:27
  Speaker 1: Well done Melbourne.
• 32:28
Speaker 1: Make it work so well done Fielder.
• 32:32
Speaker 1: Those mighty doggers are all the way with the W Melbourne heads up Play.
• 32:37
  Speaker 1: Well next.
• 32:38
Speaker 1: Now we're right back in Melbourne, where Marbles stand for the mighty blues and the moos, as known as Carlton versus North Melbourne.
• 32:48
Speaker 3: BJ time for your thoughts for game nine Carlton versus North Melbourne.
• 32:51
Speaker 1: Well, now, guess what?
• 32:52
Speaker 1: Last game round 19.
• 32:54
Speaker 1: Well, we have four games.
• 32:54
Speaker 1: Well, actually, game round 19.
• 32:56
Speaker 1: Well, we have four games, or actually it equals to four games.
• 32:59
Speaker 1: Well, no, we've got five games.
• 33:01
Speaker 1: Well, let's get into quarter by quarter as we continue on to it.
• 33:06
Speaker 1: So, yep, seven goals for the quarter.
• 33:09
Speaker 1: Total overall Well done North Melbourne State.
• 33:12
Speaker 1: In that contest it was a four goals to three in front of the mighty blues, three goals to the blues in North Melbourne, six goals.
• 33:21
Speaker 1: It was in six goals, five, not six goals, ten, it was six goals straight.
• 33:26
Speaker 1: Accuracy at marble you, that's what you see, your game of football.
• 33:31
Speaker 1: It was Colton's turn to shine the spirit into seven goals, five, which is pretty good.
• 33:37
Speaker 1: 47 points to three goals 119.
• 33:40
Speaker 1: So it was really good.
• 33:42
Speaker 1: But it was basically the same as the first goal for North Melbourne in the first quarter and we come to two goals.
• 33:49
Speaker 1: A favourite of the Blues win the quarter.
• 33:51
Speaker 1: So well done North Melbourne.
• 33:54
Speaker 1: You know, bad luck to North Melbourne.
• 33:56
  Speaker 1: Well done, colton.
• 33:56
  Speaker 1: That beat you.
• 33:56
  Speaker 1: Well, guess what?
• 33:57
  Speaker 1: North Melbourne.
• 33:57
  Speaker 1: Well tuck.
• 33:57
Speaker 1: So well done off north melbourne.
• 33:57
Speaker 1: You know, bad luck to north melbourne.
• 33:57
Speaker 1: Well done colton, with that.
• 33:57
  Speaker 1: That beat you.
• 33:58
  Speaker 1: Well, guess what?
• 33:59
  Speaker 1: North melbourne.
• 34:00
  Speaker 1: Well done.
• 34:01
Speaker 1: You were much better than last week than to this week.
• 34:04
Speaker 1: Colton, lucky to get a w.
• 34:06
Speaker 1: Yes, you've got injuries.
• 34:07
Speaker 1: You're very concerning, but this was the game.
• 34:10
Speaker 1: This is the win you needed.
• 34:11
Speaker 1: North melbourne are coming and they they look dangerous.
• 34:14
Speaker 1: They never gave up.
• 34:15
Speaker 1: They only lost by 19 points and a decent high scoring.
• 34:20
Speaker 1: So we're getting to my best on the ground.
• 34:22
Speaker 1: There's so many players, even for North Melbourne, have more fancity, maybe even more disposals.
• 34:29
Speaker 1: So I'm going to put it and it's really not great in the fancity world, but, sam Walsh, you know, with the seven marks, 1 tackle.
• 34:37
Speaker 1: You know not very much in that, but 25 disposals with the 15 kicks, 10 handballs with the 90 fans at T.
• 34:44
Speaker 1: So well done, carlton with the W, with the win, and North Melbourne heads up.
• 34:49
Speaker 1: Play well next week.
• 34:50
Speaker 3: Aidan, time for your thoughts for Game 9 Carlton vs North Melbourne.
• 34:54
Speaker 2: This was something unexpected.
• 34:56
Speaker 2: This was something unexpected.
• 34:57
Speaker 2: North Melbourne put up a really good fight and they really should go away thinking that they've done a great effort for themselves.
• 35:04
Speaker 2: And they have, I mean, to come within.
• 35:06
Speaker 2: You know you were leading at halftime and then you just fell off a little bit in the second half against Carlton, against this Carlton team, who are so strong and so dangerous and definitely in a chance to win a premiership this year.
• 35:18
Speaker 2: You know North still just a little bit behind, but you see the potential there.
• 35:23
Speaker 2: It is coming for them and when they start going they are going to be an absolute danger.
• 35:29
Speaker 2: A lot of young talent down in North Melbourne at the moment looking to come through and impact at AFL level.
• 35:34
Speaker 2: The Blues, as I said, are already at that level and they should really be taking themselves seriously and saying this could be the year the Blues win a premiership.
• 35:44
Speaker 2: My best on ground goes to Charlie Curnow.
• 35:46
Speaker 2: Four goals, two, 15 touches, 10 kicks, five handballs, nine marks, one tackle and 101 fantasy.
• 35:52
Speaker 1: We come to the halftime point of the Beat.
• 35:55
Speaker 1: State Show Chat when we come back, we time point of the beat.
• 35:56
Speaker 1: They choose chat when we come back.
• 35:58
  Speaker 1: We're completed now.
• 35:59
Speaker 1: We're on our team now.
• 36:00
  Speaker 1: See you soon.
• 36:01
  Speaker 1: Don't go anywhere.
• 36:02
Speaker 1: I know it's a bit cheeky, as normally like what?
• 36:05
Speaker 1: Get your cup of tea, your your drink of any time.
• 36:08
Speaker 1: You get your bickies, get your snacks.
• 36:11
  Speaker 1: See you soon.
• 36:12
Speaker 1: There's more to come.
• 36:13
  Speaker 1: See you soon.
• 36:31
Speaker 1: Welcome back to the Sports Chat BJ Show.
• 36:36
Speaker 1: I hope you all enjoy it.
• 36:38
Speaker 1: Get your cup of tea, your drink whatever, your snacks, your donut, oh yeah, yummy.
• 36:42
Speaker 1: So let's get underway as we now go to Marble Stain on a Friday night in Melbourne Big, chilly, good crowd.
• 36:50
Speaker 1: We've got the Mighty Blues up and hosting the power.
• 36:54
Speaker 3: BJ time for your thoughts for Game 1 Carlton versus Port Adelaide.
• 36:57
Speaker 1: Wow, this is a mum of shock.
• 36:59
Speaker 1: Yes, as Chris said, shock in a big way.
• 37:02
Speaker 1: Well done to Port.
• 37:03
Speaker 1: Yes, got the W from Carlton.
• 37:05
Speaker 1: You can't slip your chances.
• 37:07
Speaker 1: You're slipping now and that's going to get very concerned In breaking down.
• 37:12
Speaker 1: Yes, you've got injuries, but you can't slip those injuries.
• 37:15
Speaker 1: Inspect that player to dominate.
• 37:17
Speaker 1: Really well, we'll go by, quarter by quarter, as always.
• 37:20
Speaker 1: Port Sarwell, two goals to come.
• 37:22
Speaker 1: This is the one goal.
• 37:23
Speaker 1: Poor, not accuracy, but that's okay.
• 37:25
Speaker 1: But they got a little bit better.
• 37:27
  Speaker 1: A massive response.
• 37:29
Speaker 1: They lead the way at half time, but it wasn't really great.
• 37:33
Speaker 1: Of leading by 25 points, it's equals to eight goals.
• 37:36
Speaker 1: So they've seven goals, seven goals or two in the second.
• 37:36
Speaker 1: Great of leading by 25 points, it's equals to eight goals.
• 37:37
Speaker 1: So they seven goals, seven goals or two.
• 37:38
Speaker 1: In the second quarter they lead by 25 points.
• 37:41
Speaker 1: That means second half, they did it again, but less scoring.
• 37:45
Speaker 1: They get one goal, two foot.
• 37:47
Speaker 1: Third quarter, that's eight points, but poor.
• 37:49
Speaker 1: Keep three goals, five.
• 37:50
Speaker 1: So more chances of ports going to have a chance to win.
• 37:54
  Speaker 1: And they do.
• 37:55
  Speaker 1: Carlton three behind.
• 37:56
Speaker 1: Wow, a top four side cannot let that happen and port the separate with a nice january victory with a four goals one, 25 points, winning by just a nice handy victory, winning my 14 points.
• 38:12
Speaker 1: So, knowing that port needed this win, they gained some wins against the momentum and this was the game was tested from port.
• 38:19
Speaker 1: Moving on to carlton, look, win is not an easy win against north melbourne, but you've got the job done.
• 38:25
Speaker 1: But you're starting well.
• 38:26
Speaker 1: You lead by 25 points and you slip yourself and lose by 14.
• 38:29
Speaker 1: You cannot let these teams happen to you.
• 38:32
Speaker 1: You don't have a best player on there.
• 38:34
Speaker 1: Get that knit player and let that player dominate really well in the afl team, or just do the best player.
• 38:41
Speaker 1: Now there wasn't a lot of celebration for well you know, winning team like put out a ollie ryan's 108 fans to the 25 disposals, 10 kicks, 15 handballs, a 10 tag performancetack performance and Oswell 2 marks.
• 38:58
Speaker 1: So well done to Port with a 14-point victory.
• 39:00
Speaker 3: Carlton heads up play well next week Aidan, time for your thoughts for Game 1, Carlton versus Port Adelaide.
• 39:07
Speaker 2: I don't really know what to make of this game because, see, on one hand, you've got Carlton, you have the Blues, who should really be taking control of their own destiny at this point, and are letting it slip.
• 39:19
Speaker 2: I mean, they had a big lead against Port and they let it slip.
• 39:22
Speaker 2: And then, on the other hand, you've got Port, who are always up for a fight and always up for a challenge, and Port stood up when it mattered and got the big win to push them into the eight and keep their finals chances in their own hands.
• 39:36
Speaker 2: So, colton, a little bit of danger slipping out of the top four, now Port Adelaide slowly sneaking back into the eight.
• 39:42
Speaker 2: My best player would have to be Port's game-breaker, jason Horne-Francis.
• 39:47
  Speaker 2: We have, for Horne-Francis, 23 touches, 18 kicks, 5 handballs, 5 marks, 6 tackles, only 99 fantasy.
• 39:57
Speaker 2: But we know how dangerous he is on the ball and that is what makes him one of the best players to emerge from the last couple of years of drafts and a great get for Port Adelaide when he left North Melbourne.
• 40:08
Speaker 1: Now it's time to head on to the playing.
• 40:11
Speaker 1: A nice travel we're having from Melbourne to going down to Tasmania.
• 40:15
Speaker 1: A little bit more of Brondon Stone Arena was in Hobart, so let's go to the North Melbourne hosting the sexy the Long Cats.
• 40:37
Speaker 3: BJ time for your thoughts for game 2, North Melbourne versus Geelong.
• 40:40
Speaker 3: We have made it to Tasmania for North Melbourne versus Geelong.
• 40:43
Speaker 2: North and Geelong played out a pretty even first quarter in this one Three goals apiece, geelong just ahead by three points.
• 40:49
Speaker 2: Second quarter Geelong just took control of the game.
• 40:52
Speaker 2: They kicked another three.
• 40:53
  Speaker 2: North only one.
• 40:54
Speaker 2: Third quarter Geelong put up five and north only only three.
• 40:59
Speaker 2: Fourth quarter geelong put up another five and north put up three so that was you know, quite a well dispersed scoring from both sides geelong three in each quarter in the first half and hit five in each quarter in the second half, and north had three, three goal quarters.
• 41:14
Speaker 2: So that's, you know, impressive and easy to count.
• 41:17
Speaker 2: I think North have let themselves down a bit on this one, considering their effort against Carlton last week.
• 41:22
Speaker 2: I just don't know where the consistency is.
• 41:23
Speaker 2: You go even in Tasmania.
• 41:26
  Speaker 2: You're dangerous there.
• 41:27
Speaker 2: We know how good you are there and you're not really ever in the contest after quarter time.
• 41:31
Speaker 2: As for the Cats, business is business.
• 41:33
Speaker 2: They come out, they do their job, they get the win.
• 41:35
Speaker 2: Not much to be said there.
• 41:36
Speaker 2: I will go to my player of the game and I am going to go with Tom Stewart, who had 32 touches on 26 kicks, six handballs, nine marks, one tackle and 122 fantasy.
• 41:49
Speaker 3: Aidan, time for your thoughts for Game 2, North Melbourne versus West Coast.
• 41:53
  Speaker 1: Yep went over.
• 41:54
Speaker 1: You know, geelong, business as usual.
• 41:56
Speaker 1: Kick Melbourne versus West Coast Yep went over.
• 41:57
Speaker 1: You know, geelong, business as usual, kick-off, big winners.
• 41:58
Speaker 1: 40 points take anything.
• 42:00
Speaker 1: But it was pretty accuracy for both teams 26 scoring shots to 16, so 10.
• 42:04
Speaker 1: Look, it was a 10 scoring shots a difference favour of Geelong.
• 42:08
Speaker 1: You know, north Melbourne, they snapped away.
• 42:10
Speaker 1: But then you know they keep accuracy and that's what's been the big thing.
• 42:13
Speaker 1: But look, what can I say?
• 42:17
Speaker 1: They are in the contest all going north melbourne.
• 42:18
Speaker 1: They never, really they never ever let john scored six, uh, ten goals in a quarter.
• 42:24
Speaker 1: I really did not do that, but it was the final quarter, did that?
• 42:27
Speaker 1: So to five goals to three so lots of high scoring goals.
• 42:31
Speaker 1: We all love high scoringscoring football, but this one, unfortunately, was only one way.
• 42:37
Speaker 1: Look North Melbourne's best performance to ever Tristan Zeri.
• 42:41
Speaker 1: You know he dominated.
• 42:43
Speaker 1: I'm going to give it to him.
• 42:44
Speaker 1: Why in the losing team, I will not know, but he dominated 156 fans today.
• 42:50
Speaker 1: You know losing by 40, that's just incredible.
• 42:52
Speaker 1: It was 54 hit-outs, 1 point 25 disposals, 13 kicks for 12 handballs, 5 marks, 8 tackles for a big fella and I've got to say that's an effort 8 tackles for a ruckman you don't see very often in the modern football.
• 43:09
Speaker 1: You know, and he knows, 5 marks.
• 43:11
Speaker 1: But you know scoring involvement is huge and he dominated and I would like to give yeah, well done to the credit of that North Melbourne run.
• 43:20
Speaker 1: But well done, geelong With the W North Melbourne heads up.
• 43:24
Speaker 1: Play Well next week.
• 43:25
Speaker 1: We're heading back on the plane from Homer and we're now going back onto the plane as we got the cute plush and we got the suns and the lions, and we're heading to the gold coast as we got the people for staining.
• 43:55
Speaker 1: So let's go on the plane and let's get the show of these forts.
• 43:59
Speaker 1: Now we arrive on the Gold Coast in Brisbane, queensland, australia.
• 44:15
Speaker 1: We've got the sons and the lions.
• 44:17
Speaker 1: Let's get BJ to take it away, please.
• 44:20
Speaker 1: We now made it to the GQ Clash for the Suns and are up against the Brisbane Improved.
• 44:27
Speaker 1: We're beautiful Brisbane Lions.
• 44:29
Speaker 1: Right now we're at Peoples First Stadium.
• 44:32
Speaker 1: Well, let's get quarter to quarter.
• 44:33
Speaker 1: You know, three goals to two.
• 44:35
Speaker 1: Poor start to goal goes Six behind.
• 44:37
Speaker 1: You know it was a sponsor.
• 44:39
Speaker 1: Three goals to five.
• 44:41
Speaker 1: You know these two teams Are having their own version of rivalry.
• 44:44
Speaker 1: You know, right in their face.
• 44:46
Speaker 1: You know, let's get into the second half as I share the quarter quarter.
• 44:50
Speaker 1: So two goals a piece.
• 44:52
Speaker 1: These two rivals love it and it comes to the last quarter.
• 44:56
Speaker 1: But it was two goals to the mighty gold coast, sons and brisbane too.
• 45:00
Speaker 1: Good, they went over line and they win nicely with the winning by 28 points in the big clash.
• 45:06
Speaker 1: So you know Gold Coast needed the lows.
• 45:09
Speaker 1: You know they can't lose in front of their Sun supporters.
• 45:12
Speaker 1: You know this is the Sun's home depth to win football and they've only known that they can't lose by 50 points.
• 45:20
Speaker 1: But losing by 28 points is quite a bit in a huge clash.
• 45:24
Speaker 1: Let's get now my best player.
• 45:26
Speaker 1: Now there was quite a few and it's so many to choose, even from either team Going to have to put it under Josh Dunkley.
• 45:36
Speaker 1: You know, put it even with the 31 disposals, 20 kicks, 11 handballs, 7 marks, 5 tackles, 128 dancer, dancer, tee with a goal in the behind.
• 45:47
  Speaker 1: So well done.
• 45:48
Speaker 1: Once again, 28 point winners for the Brisbane Lions.
• 45:51
Speaker 1: Gold Coast Suns, headset Haywell Nick Wee.
• 45:54
Speaker 2: This has been coming for a while, it really has.
• 45:56
Speaker 2: Gold Coast could not keep this perfect home record up and they finally slid in against the biggest of the biggest rivals that they have.
• 46:03
Speaker 2: They're Queensland locals, the Brisbane Lions.
• 46:06
Speaker 2: Brisbane, as I say, you just put another question in front of them.
• 46:09
Speaker 2: They pass the test.
• 46:11
Speaker 2: Put another question in front of them they pass the test there is no test this Brisbane team will not pass unless something goes horribly wrong, and they are a genuine contender at this point.
• 46:21
Speaker 2: Gold Coast are going to have to pick up a few wins on the road now to really keep their finals hopes intact.
• 46:27
Speaker 2: I don't know if they're going to be able to do that.
• 46:29
Speaker 2: I mean, I think they've got some easy games towards the end of the year, but still nothing's easy in the AFL this year.
• 46:35
Speaker 2: Even a team like a Richmond or a West Coast can show up on any given day For best player.
• 46:39
Speaker 2: I'm going to have to go with the best player in the AFL, the self-proclaimed best player in the AFL.
• 46:45
  Speaker 3: Rocky Neal.
• 46:46
Speaker 1: One goal 35 touches, 16 kicks, 19 handballs, 7 marks, 4 tackles 129 fantasy Now travelling back from the key clash with the Brisbane Lions winning over the Suns.
• 46:58
Speaker 1: Now head back to Melbourne, as we're now travelling to Marble Stone for the Saints up against the Bombers.
• 47:15
Speaker 2: Big game, big win for St Kilda.
• 47:19
Speaker 2: They came out of the blocks really hot 5 goals, 1 in the first term, essendon only able to get two goals, three.
• 47:25
Speaker 2: Second quarter St Kilda had two goals, essendon had three goals, but St Kilda still in control of the game.
• 47:32
Speaker 2: Essendon just trying to keep it close.
• 47:34
Speaker 2: Coming out of the big break, st Kilda let it all out, kicking seven goals to Essendon's one.
• 47:39
Speaker 2: And in the final quarter, st Kilda kicked three goals to Essendon's two.
• 47:43
Speaker 2: So same as last week for St Kilda.
• 47:45
Speaker 2: Just keep getting these wins.
• 47:47
Speaker 2: At this point You're not playing finals this year, but you're going to set yourself up for next year.
• 47:50
Speaker 2: And that's for Essendon.
• 47:51
  Speaker 2: What's happened?
• 47:52
Speaker 2: You used to be cool.
• 47:53
Speaker 2: You're not cool anymore.
• 47:54
Speaker 2: You're out of the eight.
• 47:54
Speaker 2: You're probably not going to play in September of the game.
• 48:06
Speaker 2: I am going to be giving that honor to Xavier Derzma from Essendon.
• 48:14
Speaker 2: Interesting that I'm calling from a losing team.
• 48:17
Speaker 2: But I think that first half that he had was quite good and then I just fell away in the second half.
• 48:22
Speaker 2: And when you, when you've got 114 fantasy, one goal, 25 touches, 19 kicks, six handballs, nine marks and three tackles, you can't really blame yourself.
• 48:32
Speaker 2: You, you've got to.
• 48:33
Speaker 2: You know, own up to yourself, which he's done, and if his teammates have held him down, then that's on them.
• 48:39
Speaker 2: Well done to him for putting in a good display, and probably one of the real only shining lights were the Bombers On that Saturday afternoon.
• 48:47
Speaker 1: Yeah, big W for the Saints.
• 48:49
Speaker 1: You know they're not marching into the finals, but they were marching against A mother.
• 48:54
Speaker 1: Anyone can beat Essendon right now.
• 48:56
Speaker 1: I've just got to say Winning by 53 Points.
• 49:00
Speaker 1: Essendon's percentage it slipped out very Shockingly and in the first time ever from gone from second place.
• 49:09
Speaker 1: You have not sit under 80 percent and 90 percent per se.
• 49:13
Speaker 1: Well, if that can come back, yeah, okay.
• 49:16
Speaker 1: But you know the saints are going to come in, they're going to rebuild, they're going to get ready for the season 2025.
• 49:24
Speaker 1: For the Bison and Bombers, they are slipping away.
• 49:27
Speaker 1: They are really the worst percentage, even near that top eight, even not.
• 49:32
Speaker 1: They're tenth on the ladder.
• 49:33
Speaker 1: And I've got to say wow factor is indeed they need big wins to make 100%.
• 49:41
Speaker 1: Because out of between, where, say, st Kilda is, or even Adelaide, because out of between where, say, st Kilda is, or even Adelaide, from Adelaide up to Melbourne, essendon is about 6, under 6%, a difference between the Mighty Demons and the Bombers and two points up on top.
• 49:56
Speaker 1: So you can say that for fair Essendon just winning games like that only during the first half of the season.
• 50:02
Speaker 1: But look, it is what it is.
• 50:03
Speaker 1: You've got to keep bouncing back next week.
• 50:06
Speaker 1: Well done on the 50 feet break.
• 50:07
  Speaker 1: Victory heads up.
• 50:09
Speaker 1: Keep playing well next week.
• 50:11
Speaker 1: Alright, we're staying Melbourne.
• 50:14
Speaker 1: We're not going on the plane, we're going to begin run.
• 50:17
Speaker 1: We can skip, we can just walk like we're going.
• 50:20
Speaker 1: Come on, your supporters of the Demons and the Giants.
• 50:24
Speaker 1: That's where we are at the MCG game of the round.
• 50:27
Speaker 1: Let's get to those thoughts.
• 50:29
Speaker 1: We've made it to the mother game of the round and most late game of the round.
• 50:34
Speaker 1: We've seen the Lions are out the gutter against the Swans.
• 50:37
Speaker 1: Now it's these two.
• 50:39
Speaker 1: Melbourne just came out of the woods losing by on the road against the Friantle Doctors in Perth.
• 50:45
Speaker 1: Melbourne just came out of the woods Losing by on the road Against the 300 doctors In Perth.
• 50:47
Speaker 1: Now they're going to host the Giants.
• 50:49
Speaker 1: Giants were lucky to win this Quarter by quarter.
• 50:51
Speaker 1: You know Melbourne fired up 5 goals, 10 scoring shots.
• 50:55
Speaker 1: 1 goal 2 to the Giants.
• 50:57
  Speaker 1: That's a free scoring involvement With a 5 goal quarter.
• 51:01
Speaker 1: But it was 5 goals 2.
• 51:02
Speaker 1: So you've got to give credit to meryl king.
• 51:05
Speaker 1: Five goals, five in the first quarter, thank you.
• 51:07
Speaker 1: One goal two, so you can see it was very even.
• 51:11
Speaker 1: At the halftime point it was a three point lead to the money demons two goals, two to three goals.
• 51:17
Speaker 1: Two, twenty points to fourteen, six points advantage to these giants to leave.
• 51:22
Speaker 1: No, it was very close.
• 51:23
Speaker 1: Anyone can win it.
• 51:24
Speaker 1: But who wanted more?
• 51:26
  Speaker 1: Who wanted more?
• 51:27
Speaker 1: Lots of goals in this one.
• 51:29
  Speaker 1: Nine goals.
• 51:30
Speaker 1: Nine goals, nine goals, three, 57 points total.
• 51:34
Speaker 1: At the mcg it was the giants holding on and I've not known.
• 51:39
Speaker 1: I did not watch this game, but clearly a victory to the giants.
• 51:44
Speaker 1: So, player by, as I'm going to share my thoughts.
• 51:47
Speaker 1: There's so many Giants players and I've got to say very disappointing with Melbourne, you know, very, very poor in a way they don't have anyone in the 30s in a two-point loss.
• 51:58
Speaker 1: There's so many I can give and I you know it's going to be, and I don't want to be a big fancy person, but Toby Green from the Giants, the number 4 from the Giants 16 disposals, 14 kicks, 2 handballs, 6 marks with the 4 tackles, but 3 goals, 103 fancities.
• 52:19
Speaker 1: So he dominated, big win.
• 52:21
Speaker 1: You know this is what the Giants needed to get themselves back into the finals.
• 52:26
Speaker 1: They even secured a top eight spot.
• 52:30
Speaker 1: They may they could be playing double chance here Just the first time in a long time.
• 52:35
Speaker 1: You know, I would feel confident that Colton even slipped out, jalon slipped up.
• 52:40
Speaker 1: More percent is Ghost's favour to Carlton.
• 52:43
Speaker 1: But if Giants Can actually win big and Colton just Look out they are coming and Could be scary.
• 52:50
Speaker 1: So Well done on the Yamani Giants.
• 52:53
Speaker 1: With the victory, melbourne Heads up.
• 52:55
Speaker 2: Play well next week, gws Walk into Melbourne, walk into a game when it had implications For both sides.
• 53:04
Speaker 2: Slow start for them, but it is the tortoise and the hare here.
• 53:07
Speaker 2: Melbourne came out of the blocks blazing and then they took a nap and then GWS slowly built, slowly built their foundation, slowly built their way into the game and got the win in the end.
• 53:17
Speaker 2: So big work to the Giants.
• 53:19
Speaker 2: This is starting to look like another good year for GWS.
• 53:24
Speaker 2: As I said, you know people were worried about them.
• 53:26
Speaker 2: You know, sort of towards the middle of the year, and I'm like, well, I've had all their injuries.
• 53:29
Speaker 2: Now all their luck's going to go gone against them in the mid-year, come the back of the year.
• 53:34
Speaker 2: The orange tsunami is hitting and it's hitting hard.
• 53:36
Speaker 2: It did again here this week against Melbourne, melbourne, I just don't know what.
• 53:40
  Speaker 2: What's happened.
• 53:41
Speaker 2: It's become one thing after another for melbourne and it's injuries.
• 53:45
Speaker 2: It's bad luck, it's something, something.
• 53:47
Speaker 2: But eventually things are going to change and eventually you've got to change them and melbourne are just sort of hanging around at the moment.
• 53:54
Speaker 2: They're just sitting in the pack hoping for a moment to strike.
• 53:57
Speaker 2: That moment's not going to let itself come to you.
• 53:59
Speaker 2: You've got to go and get it, so I don't know if you're even going to be in the eight at this point.
• 54:03
Speaker 2: Melbourne, for my best player.
• 54:04
Speaker 2: I'm going to give it to Kieran Briggs of GWS, outracking Max Gorn.
• 54:09
Speaker 2: He had 17 touches on eight kicks, nine marks, nine handballs, three marks, four tackles and 36 here, one behind in 99 fantasy.
• 54:19
Speaker 1: Now it's time to head from Melbourne to Perth.
• 54:23
Speaker 1: We've got the well.
• 54:24
Speaker 1: Aidan will share what this game means, but we are descending to Perth.
• 54:29
Speaker 1: Let's now get to this amazing clash.
• 54:32
  Speaker 1: It's a mother bridal.
• 54:33
Speaker 1: Let's get on to it.
• 54:34
Speaker 1: Aidan, take it away.
• 54:36
Speaker 2: Time for another Western derby between the Duckers and the Eagles.
• 54:41
Speaker 2: We'll go quarter by quarter.
• 54:42
  Speaker 2: In this one.
• 54:43
Speaker 2: Eagles started very well, keeping five.
• 54:46
Speaker 2: In the first, fremantle only three goals.
• 54:48
Speaker 2: Second quarter, west Coast added four, fremantle added four.
• 54:50
Speaker 2: West Coast went into halftime looking solidly with the lead.
• 54:54
Speaker 2: Second half happened and Fremantle rocked up.
• 54:56
  Speaker 2: Fremantle added five.
• 54:57
Speaker 2: In the third quarter, west Coast one point.
• 55:00
Speaker 2: And in the final term, fremantle added another five goals.
• 55:03
Speaker 2: Five straight for the Dockers in that final term.
• 55:05
Speaker 2: To West Coast two goals, four Freymiller running out 110 to 75 winners in the Western Derby.
• 55:12
Speaker 2: The Dockers are dangerous, the Dockers are deadly and the Dockers are the real deal in season 2024.
• 55:19
Speaker 2: They don't need to worry about too much.
• 55:21
Speaker 2: They just need to hang on to that top four spot at this stage.
• 55:24
Speaker 2: Hopefully they can get into the top two and get a home double chance final, but we'll see what happens.
• 55:30
Speaker 2: As for West Coast, I really, really thought they'd do better after halftime.
• 55:33
Speaker 2: Just lost the plot, just went away and frame out, came out and took over the game at halftime, as top teams should be doing.
• 55:41
Speaker 2: My fantasy vote well, my top player vote this week will again go to Andy Brasher with 115 fantasy, one goal won, 36 touches, 16 kicks, 20 handballs, two marks and seven tackles.
• 55:53
Speaker 1: Yep, that was the word.
• 55:54
Speaker 1: West End Derby, west End Derby.
• 55:57
Speaker 1: Now I've got to say, between these two roles they always get a good kick, a little nudge and oh, they're ready to go.
• 56:04
Speaker 1: I don't see the magic, what they used to do in the 90s, boy, anyway.
• 56:08
Speaker 1: Moving on, well done to Friental W.
• 56:11
Speaker 1: You look stronger than West Coast, but West Coast did so well.
• 56:14
Speaker 1: They're finding ways to stay in the contest.
• 56:18
Speaker 1: They're not losing by 50, 60 points in a rideable game.
• 56:22
Speaker 1: You know the Q class Brisbane winning 50, 60 points in a in a rideable game.
• 56:24
Speaker 1: You know the Q-class Brisbane winning by 28, 38 points.
• 56:27
Speaker 1: Win to the Dockers.
• 56:28
Speaker 1: So, and now hosting it big time.
• 56:32
Speaker 1: So, yep, well, got to say West Coast by luck.
• 56:35
Speaker 1: You know you start well, then you slip away in that second half, three until, just talk away, want it, eat more, and it was three until one at more.
• 56:44
Speaker 1: Well, I'm just gonna share my best player now there's, there's a few.
• 56:49
Speaker 1: You know hayden, young from the 3 until dockers, they're not, not, not high.
• 56:54
Speaker 1: It's going 90, 91, fan cities, not high, but these were okay.
• 56:58
Speaker 1: You know he's got that 20 disposals, 8 kicks, 12 handballs, 12 tackles.
• 57:03
Speaker 1: Now he is a well.
• 57:04
  Speaker 1: 20 from 12 handles 12 tackles.
• 57:05
Speaker 1: Now he is a well 20% from the defense, but 4, 12 tackles.
• 57:08
Speaker 1: That is just incredible for an individual with 20 disposals, 91 defense.
• 57:14
Speaker 1: So that was a pretty good decision to play Domination into the Fan Tour team.
• 57:19
Speaker 1: But bad luck with West Coast.
• 57:21
Speaker 1: Just keep heads up, keep trying every week.
• 57:24
Speaker 1: You're not long till the off-season begins, so heads up, west Coast, just keep heads up.
• 57:26
Speaker 1: Keep trying every week.
• 57:26
Speaker 1: You're not long till off-season begins, so heads up, west Coast.
• 57:28
  Speaker 1: Well done, WTECOF.
• 57:31
Speaker 1: We're heading now back on the plane From the Perth of Western Australia, from Optus Stadium.
• 57:37
Speaker 1: We're now heading back on the plane, as I mentioned before.
• 57:40
Speaker 1: We're back on Melbourne service.
• 57:42
Speaker 1: We're travelling to the MCG for Sunday afternoon, the first of three.
• 57:47
Speaker 1: We gotta send Sydney tickets for you for the.
• 57:50
Speaker 1: We got Connie Woods.
• 57:52
  Speaker 1: We're a 399 game.
• 57:54
Speaker 1: Scott Penderberry will take on the Tigers as they we now we're going to that game right now.
• 58:00
Speaker 1: Right now We've made it to MCG, as I mentioned before as I mentioned there was a 399 gamer, scott Penderberry.
• 58:17
Speaker 1: But anyway, moving forward Quarter by quarter, as we need to get it, as we've got two games remaining as well, including eight.
• 58:24
Speaker 1: In sport, six goals to two, four goals straight, beautiful.
• 58:27
Speaker 1: Start to Croningwood, as the Prentice should respond.
• 58:31
Speaker 1: Then they take three goals to three.
• 58:33
  Speaker 1: So pretty even.
• 58:34
Speaker 1: No, no difference at all.
• 58:36
Speaker 1: But one point apart to make it is a 25 high half time as 25.
• 58:41
Speaker 1: Third quarter we had a five goals to one.
• 58:46
  Speaker 1: That was it.
• 58:46
Speaker 1: That was the game for the Tigers.
• 58:49
Speaker 1: They looked down, but three goals, you know, and two, one goal.
• 58:52
Speaker 1: So Richmond won that quarter.
• 58:54
Speaker 1: That was the quarter which we nearly needed to get better.
• 58:56
Speaker 1: But unfortunately Windsor game 26 points.
• 58:59
Speaker 1: So they're not losing by a lot.
• 59:01
Speaker 1: They're not losing by six, seven goals points, so they're not losing by a lot.
• 59:05
Speaker 1: They're not losing by six, seven goals, only losing by four goals.
• 59:07
Speaker 1: So it's not not bad in the way of responding.
• 59:08
Speaker 1: So this was the game of economy with gainer w, which richmond bala played well.
• 59:13
Speaker 1: Next week we'll get straight into it.
• 59:15
Speaker 1: But now there's so many players.
• 59:17
Speaker 1: I've got a call and sometimes you don't have to be the best one to get all the disposals.
• 59:22
Speaker 1: So I'm going to have to call this Nick Dacos.
• 59:25
Speaker 1: Now, what a domination.
• 59:28
Speaker 1: With 128 fan city, 42 disposals is a 50-50% almost overall, with 20 hits, 22 handballs, six much, two tackles, I'm a great beat from it.
• 59:38
Speaker 1: So once again, when I'm calling with the W Richmond heads up, play well next week.
• 59:43
Speaker 2: Another good win for the Pies Business.
• 59:45
Speaker 2: As usual for them.
• 59:47
  Speaker 2: Just keep going.
• 59:48
Speaker 2: This was a game I had to win to keep their top eight chances in the mix, and they've done that.
• 59:52
Speaker 2: They've knocked off Richmond who are, I believe they're still last going north, so going into next week Big game for them next week.
• 59:59
  Speaker 2: It's got Penelbilt 400 Richmond.
• 1:00:01
Speaker 2: Not a lot of positives to take out of this season if we come down to the final month.
• 1:00:05
Speaker 2: Just enjoy yourselves, enjoy your time out there playing footy.
• 1:00:08
Speaker 2: I know you're not winning games.
• 1:00:09
Speaker 2: This is what happens when you've come off that premiership run.
• 1:00:12
Speaker 2: And, ben, I think I'm gonna have to agree with you for best player.
• 1:00:14
Speaker 2: I think it's Nick Dacos by a mile.
• 1:00:17
Speaker 2: Absolute domination, no one could touch him.
• 1:00:19
Speaker 2: 42 touches of the footy got everyone involved and and this is the thing I like about Nick Dacos he knows when to take it himself and he knows when to set up somebody else, and that is the mark of a true elite player.
• 1:00:31
Speaker 1: It's time to head back on the plane.
• 1:00:33
Speaker 1: We're now going back from Melbourne.
• 1:00:35
Speaker 1: Now we're going to travel to Sydney, so let's get to the SDG, as that's where we are.
• 1:00:40
Speaker 1: We've got the Swans hosting Bulldogs.
• 1:00:54
Speaker 2: This was an absolute Bulldog blitz.
• 1:00:57
Speaker 2: Swanee's totally out of the game, uncharistic for a team who are leading the premiership table.
• 1:01:03
Speaker 2: Swanee's one point in the first quarter of the Doggies five goals.
• 1:01:09
Speaker 2: In the second quarter Swanee's did get two goals, doggies also with two goals, but Doggies took this game over and this game was pretty much dead before it even started.
• 1:01:14
Speaker 2: Sydney try and come back into the game added two goals in the third, doggies adding three.
• 1:01:20
Speaker 2: And then Sydney just got a little bit back in the final court adding three goals to two for the Doggies.
• 1:01:24
Speaker 2: Premieres elect are out the window.
• 1:01:27
Speaker 2: The race for the minor premiership is back on and Sydney have owned themselves to blame for this.
• 1:01:31
Speaker 2: As for the Doggies, big wins last week against the Cats down at Cadenia Park, this week against the Swanee's down in the SCG.
• 1:01:38
Speaker 2: They are taking big road wins and putting themselves in contention for a top eight spot and I like to see the doggies make the finals.
• 1:01:44
Speaker 2: They are a good team.
• 1:01:45
Speaker 2: When it comes to September footy, my best player for the game, my best player for the game, would have to be Jamara Oogle Hagen, with four goals, 13 touches for him, 10 kicks, three handballs, four marks, four tackles, 83 fantasy.
• 1:02:00
Speaker 2: But, as I said, that four goals really set up the doggies.
• 1:02:03
Speaker 1: Yep, w for the Bulldogs, western Bulldogs, fourth grade Bulldogs you call.
• 1:02:08
Speaker 1: So yeah, it was a win.
• 1:02:10
Speaker 1: It's not an easy road trip To go from Geelong.
• 1:02:13
Speaker 1: Come home Now, go to Sydney.
• 1:02:15
Speaker 1: The tag on the top place and they're back Sydney.
• 1:02:20
Speaker 1: A mother on short, and this was a shock one to my thoughts.
• 1:02:23
  Speaker 1: Why is that?
• 1:02:24
Speaker 1: They didn't start well?
• 1:02:25
Speaker 1: Can't walk in the park and get the W.
• 1:02:28
  Speaker 1: You've got injuries.
• 1:02:29
  Speaker 1: Find a way.
• 1:02:29
Speaker 1: Get that next player dominating.
• 1:02:31
Speaker 1: Well in the reserves.
• 1:02:33
Speaker 1: Get that player in.
• 1:02:34
  Speaker 1: They'll do well.
• 1:02:34
Speaker 1: Get around that player.
• 1:02:37
Speaker 1: You know it could be a debuer Dominating.
• 1:02:40
Speaker 1: You can get 16 disposals on the sub.
• 1:02:41
  Speaker 1: You know, debuer.
• 1:02:41
Speaker 1: You can get 15 disposals on the sub.
• 1:02:43
Speaker 1: You know Dabua dominate.
• 1:02:43
Speaker 1: Kick your first goal and that happened on the weekend.
• 1:02:46
Speaker 1: We'll share very soon.
• 1:02:47
Speaker 1: Got to say a win is a win.
• 1:02:49
  Speaker 1: Where you are.
• 1:02:50
Speaker 1: It's going to be interesting for Sydney coming into August slash September finals time.
• 1:02:56
Speaker 1: You know it's got a month of football in Brisbane right now.
• 1:02:59
Speaker 1: So we come to now into the best players, and it's Matt Roberts.
• 1:03:06
Speaker 1: Now, why do I choose Matt Roberts?
• 1:03:08
  Speaker 1: Domination.
• 1:03:09
Speaker 1: Well, in a losing team, 138 fans, 31 goals, 36 disposals, 26 kicks and handballs, eight marks, three tackles this sets up a domination for a player.
• 1:03:20
Speaker 1: You don't have to be eyes at reaching.
• 1:03:22
Speaker 1: You know very grandlyy dominated.
• 1:03:24
Speaker 1: You know 43-0, so it starts with Sydney to Allied as we go to the Allied Oval as the Crows host dominates, but well done on the Bulldogs, fort Scrape Bulldogs, western Bulldogs, sydney's won South and Bama heads up they will.
• 1:03:40
Speaker 1: Next week big crowd house at the Allied Oval.
• 1:03:45
Speaker 1: We could have had 35,000 to 40,000 to see the Allied codes in action from winning by a couple of points against the Bombers.
• 1:03:53
Speaker 1: Well, that's W High School, move on this week and you prove on against the improved Hawthorne Hawks.
• 1:03:59
Speaker 1: Before we get quarter by quarter, allied came out six behind.
• 1:04:04
  Speaker 1: That's it.
• 1:04:04
Speaker 1: That was that quarter time.
• 1:04:05
Speaker 1: Five goals, six, six, five straight.
• 1:04:07
Speaker 1: Hawthorne came out four goals to one.
• 1:04:10
Speaker 1: Now, this was it.
• 1:04:11
Speaker 1: Alley had to shut up in that third quarter.
• 1:04:13
Speaker 1: It was all over and it was all.
• 1:04:15
Speaker 1: Hawthorne dominating was five goals, five, two behinds, and it was well.
• 1:04:21
  Speaker 1: What's it say?
• 1:04:21
Speaker 1: Alley hit two and it was well.
• 1:04:22
  Speaker 1: What's it say?
• 1:04:23
Speaker 1: La get two goals to six.
• 1:04:25
Speaker 1: Six goals, two goals, two.
• 1:04:26
Speaker 1: I've got to say right now, before we get into Hawthorne because I've got more credit for Hawthorne, unfortunately non-Hawthorne supporter Wow, the fact that it was poor, skillful performance at home and slack sleep.
• 1:04:41
Speaker 1: You can't go at home and lose by 11 goals.
• 1:04:46
Speaker 1: Now I've got to say yes, we started well, we're in the game.
• 1:04:50
Speaker 1: You can't win one quarter football, it's four quarters, simple as that.
• 1:04:55
Speaker 1: This is AFL, this is not junior football.
• 1:04:57
Speaker 1: You can't just show that.
• 1:04:59
  Speaker 1: Hawthorne came out.
• 1:05:01
  Speaker 1: They were on.
• 1:05:01
Speaker 1: Do you know how good we play against the Bombers?
• 1:05:04
Speaker 1: They studied, knowing that we will slow Out of the defence.
• 1:05:09
Speaker 1: Hawthorne built that wall and they knew exactly, kicked off for Hawthorne.
• 1:05:14
Speaker 1: Big win on the road to Adelaide.
• 1:05:16
  Speaker 1: They're coming.
• 1:05:17
Speaker 1: They're coming for September.
• 1:05:18
Speaker 1: Boy, if they cannot See I mentioned this before If they don't make finals this year, they're back in September next year.
• 1:05:26
Speaker 1: Now, it's been a long time seeing Hawthorne doing that.
• 1:05:29
Speaker 1: They've done it about six years ago, even a bit more not making finals.
• 1:05:33
Speaker 1: And boy, this is a very different Hawthorne outfit.
• 1:05:37
Speaker 1: Sam Mitchell has homeworked the Allied Oval and win by 66 points to losing by up for one point.
• 1:05:43
  Speaker 1: So, adelaide, you.
• 1:05:43
Speaker 1: And win by 66 points to losing by a poor one point.
• 1:05:45
Speaker 1: So, adelaide, you've got to bounce back.
• 1:05:46
Speaker 1: Keep trying against those mighty, sexy Geelong cats down at Caledia Park, down at Geelong.
• 1:05:53
  Speaker 1: Where's the Hawks?
• 1:05:54
Speaker 1: Well done, well, heads up, play well next week.
• 1:05:59
Speaker 2: I really don't know what to say about this Crows.
• 1:06:02
Speaker 2: I thought they were doing really good the last couple of weeks, but then they go and throw it all in the bin just because we have a few, just because I have a few guys out, we have a few guys out.
• 1:06:10
Speaker 2: We can't play football.
• 1:06:12
Speaker 2: Hawthorne coming to town, yeah, we're going to win you again with 1-9 out of our last 11.
• 1:06:16
Speaker 2: We'll take you down too, just like we did earlier in the year in.
• 1:06:19
Speaker 2: And we do why?
• 1:06:21
Speaker 2: Because we're better than you and the whole league knows it.
• 1:06:25
Speaker 2: Hawthorne are on a rampage at this point.
• 1:06:28
Speaker 2: They are flying to the finish, trying to get in the eight.
• 1:06:31
Speaker 2: They should be there.
• 1:06:33
Speaker 2: If results go their way, they will be there.
• 1:06:35
Speaker 2: September look out, hawthorne, get in, it's going to be carnage.
• 1:06:39
  Speaker 2: Don't get in.
• 1:06:39
Speaker 2: Next year is going gonna be carnage.
• 1:06:41
Speaker 2: This is a dangerous Hawthorne.
• 1:06:43
  Speaker 2: This is this.
• 1:06:43
Speaker 2: Hawthorne is probably better than Clarkson's Hawthorne.
• 1:06:46
Speaker 2: I am calling it right now this Hawthorne team is absolute carnage.
• 1:06:50
Speaker 2: It is chaos ball and they love it.
• 1:06:52
Speaker 2: For the best player, I'm gonna go with Jarman Impey.
• 1:06:55
Speaker 2: He only had 20 touches, one goal, 14 kicks, six handballs, eight marks and one tackle.
• 1:07:01
Speaker 2: But it's the way he used the football.
• 1:07:02
Speaker 2: He got players involved, he got the ball moving to the right players at the right time and when it was his turn to make a move, he made a move.
• 1:07:10
Speaker 2: Now the crows the crows should be learning from this, because this is what they need to do when you play against a team that's going to contend for september.
• 1:07:16
Speaker 2: Last year, the crows were an unpardonable mistake out of september and then they come up with this I, I don know what's going on at Westlakes anymore and hopefully when they move to Theverden it'll all be better.
• 1:07:28
Speaker 2: But I don't think it's gonna be, because if we're at Theverden and not at Westlakes and they're not the Crows anymore, oh I don't know.
• 1:07:33
Speaker 2: I don't know what to say about them anymore, because one week they do so well and then the next week they don't do anything.
