- 0:08Speaker 1: This is America with Rich Valdez, powered by politiweek.com.
- 0:13Speaker 2: And Rich Valdez is with us, former Christie administration official.
- 0:15Speaker 3: You work for Chris Christie, you've been in politics, a
- 0:17Speaker 3: lot of public service stuff. Rich Valdez, columnist now with
- 0:20Speaker 3: the Washington Times.
- 0:21Speaker 4: This is America.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Richie V, you're on the air with the nation.
- 0:24Speaker 5: This is America.
- 0:26Speaker 4: With your host, Rich Valdez.
- 0:30Speaker 3: What's up, America? I am Rich Valdez, Valdez with an S,
- 0:33Speaker 3: at Rich Valdez on all of the social media. I'm
- 0:35Speaker 3: your liberty-loving Latino amigo, 17 blocks away from Madison Square Garden,
- 0:39Speaker 3: right here at Times Square, New York City. Blessed and
- 0:42Speaker 3: honored to be with you guys, my wonderful audience. It's
- 0:44Speaker 3: Tuesday night edition of This Is America, our late-night national
- 0:48Speaker 3: town hall conversation. And if you want to share your opinion,
- 0:51Speaker 3: give me a call, 877-VALDEZ-1. That's 877-825-3371. Share your thoughts
- 0:58Speaker 3: and we'll air it during the Open Phone America segment
- 1:01Speaker 3: of the show. And I want to start with the
- 1:03Speaker 3: baseline right now because as of the closing bell today,
- 1:05Speaker 3: we're officially seven days away from the midterm election of 2026.
- 1:11Speaker 3: And next Tuesday, the American people head over to the
- 1:13Speaker 3: ballot box and the tension out there is so thick
- 1:16Speaker 3: you can cut it with one of those big cucharas
- 1:18Speaker 3: that my abuela used to use to stir the rice. No,
- 1:21Speaker 3: no lie. Now, in Israel... You've got Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
- 1:26Speaker 3: He's locked in a dead heat neck and neck race
- 1:28Speaker 3: that's keeping the entire Middle East on a razor's edge. Meanwhile,
- 1:31Speaker 3: you've got it, pobrecito, Jair Bolsonaro. That is the father.
- 1:36Speaker 3: He's still in jail. His son trapped on the tarmac,
- 1:40Speaker 3: Flavio Bolsonaro. And he lost the election just a couple
- 1:46Speaker 3: of days ago in Brazil for president. And They started
- 1:50Speaker 3: hitting him with charges to put him in jail just
- 1:52Speaker 3: like they put his dad in jail for political persecution.
- 1:55Speaker 3: They're saying he's corrupt, he's money laundering, he's this and
- 1:57Speaker 3: he's that. It's amazing how quickly they conducted that investigation
- 2:00Speaker 3: from Election Day. The very next day, this guy was
- 2:04Speaker 3: with the crosshairs on him. So he has made a
- 2:08Speaker 3: petition to see if he can enter the United States.
- 2:10Speaker 3: They're trying to not let his plane leave the tarmac.
- 2:13Speaker 3: We will keep you posted on that. Hopefully he can
- 2:16Speaker 3: make his way through one of the neighboring countries and
- 2:18Speaker 3: make his way to the United States. But crazy stuff, right?
- 2:22Speaker 3: And he's likely going to be playing hopscotch a little
- 2:24Speaker 3: bit in the terminal, trying to dodge a political persecution.
- 2:27Speaker 3: At this rate, Bolsonaro is going to end up racking
- 2:30Speaker 3: up so many frequent flyer miles, more than any one
- 2:33Speaker 3: of us do. So, and I'm trying to make light
- 2:35Speaker 3: of a bad situation, I know. Let's look at what
- 2:39Speaker 3: else is going on. What else we got? Oh, we
- 2:41Speaker 3: got some headlines here. First up, James Comey. James Comey,
- 2:45Speaker 3: the Triple Crown. Third time is the charm, is what
- 2:48Speaker 3: they say. New indictment unsealed against him yesterday. Third set
- 2:54Speaker 3: of charges against him. The Department of Justice smacking former
- 2:58Speaker 3: director James Comey with federal charges for the third time.
- 3:01Speaker 3: This time, it's for allegedly leaking national defense information, classified information,
- 3:06Speaker 3: to the New York Times back in 2016 to correct
- 3:10Speaker 3: a Reuters piece. They say Jim Comey's been sharing this
- 3:14Speaker 3: with his professor friend who was in the media to
- 3:17Speaker 3: leak things. And that that might be a violation of
- 3:22Speaker 3: classified information standards. So we'll see what happens. This is, again,
- 3:26Speaker 3: the third time, separate time, that he's been charged in
- 3:29Speaker 3: 13 months. The first time he got away with it.
- 3:33Speaker 3: The second time, we're still waiting to see what happens.
- 3:37Speaker 3: And now the jury's out. We'll see what happens. We'll
- 3:40Speaker 3: see if Jim Comey's going to see the feds, you know,
- 3:46Speaker 3: getting tough with him or not. I tend to think
- 3:49Speaker 3: Not is the answer. But again, I'm not rooting for
- 3:53Speaker 3: the guy. I'm rooting for America. I just don't see
- 3:57Speaker 3: where it's happening. And guess what? He's gotten so many indictments.
- 3:59Speaker 3: These three, the first three, the fourth one's free. The
- 4:01Speaker 3: fourth one's on me, Jim. You got it, brother. Anyway,
- 4:04Speaker 3: who else we got getting indicted? Another Democrat getting indicted,
- 4:07Speaker 3: Eric Swalwell. Not indicted. He's being investigated by... The authorities there, FBI,
- 4:15Speaker 3: raided a massive Beverly Hills mansion belonging to the billionaire
- 4:19Speaker 3: Stephen Klubeck. Why'd they do that? Well, because the disgraced
- 4:23Speaker 3: former congressman, Eric Swalwell, who resigned after a huge sexual
- 4:29Speaker 3: misconduct allegation, he was living there. Yes, he was living
- 4:34Speaker 3: with his billionaire friend. The feds are tossing Swalwell's donor's mansion,
- 4:38Speaker 3: looking for all sorts of evidence. The first thing was
- 4:41Speaker 3: Fang Fang, the Chinese spy. Now it's federal raids in
- 4:45Speaker 3: the 90210. Listen, Eric, my friend, when people said you
- 4:50Speaker 3: should try to be a household name, they didn't mean
- 4:52Speaker 3: you should have your name on the FBI's 10 most
- 4:55Speaker 3: wanted list. Come on, brother. Now there's a search warrant
- 4:58Speaker 3: in every house that you've slept in. And we've seen
- 5:02Speaker 3: those videos. You're not always sleeping alone, brother. You're making
- 5:05Speaker 3: it hot. You're making it hot for you. You're making
- 5:07Speaker 3: it hot for shorty. Or should I say Fang Fang?
- 5:09Speaker 2: Anyway.
- 5:11Speaker 3: Then we've got Kathy Hochul, the governor of New York,
- 5:13Speaker 3: finishing dead last. The Cato Institute dropping their annual Freedom
- 5:18Speaker 3: in the 50 States report. It's like a report card
- 5:20Speaker 3: for states based on how much liberty people have. And
- 5:24Speaker 3: Kathy Hochul ranked 50th out of 50 governors. Absolute dead last.
- 5:30Speaker 3: An F grade she was given. She literally is making
- 5:33Speaker 3: Gavin Newsom look like George Washington in a list like this. Actually,
- 5:38Speaker 3: that's something that I said on on the news this
- 5:41Speaker 3: morning I was on Newsmax commenting on this very story
- 5:45Speaker 3: and if we could find it I'll use that in
- 5:47Speaker 3: an upcoming segment when we get into this Kathy Hochul
- 5:49Speaker 3: New York stuff because honestly to score less than a
- 5:56Speaker 3: dismal 18% on freedom New York is now officially less
- 5:59Speaker 3: free than California and Rhode Island that's brutal right literally
- 6:04Speaker 3: that's Kathy Hochul saying Gavin Newsom you think you're a
- 6:06Speaker 3: commie sympathizer hold my beer absolutely atrocious anyway As if
- 6:11Speaker 3: things in New York weren't bad enough. People leaving, people
- 6:15Speaker 3: moving out. The only thing that's going up is U-Haul
- 6:18Speaker 3: rental sales. People trying to get the heck out of
- 6:21Speaker 3: there and almost always Texas, Tennessee, Florida. All the good
- 6:28Speaker 3: weather places that have no income tax. Anyway, we continue.
- 6:32Speaker 3: Speaking of New York, over at the U.N., The United
- 6:37Speaker 3: Nations Ambassador Mike Walz, the first congressman to be a
- 6:41Speaker 3: Green Beret special operator who's now the ambassador of the
- 6:44Speaker 3: United States, he gets into back and forth with the
- 6:47Speaker 3: Cuban bureaucracy. Our Ambassador Mike Walz, I've never been prouder
- 6:51Speaker 3: of him. And he got into a massive argument on
- 6:56Speaker 3: the floor with Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parria and
- 7:01Speaker 3: Ambassador Walz, His Excellency. He held up a photo of
- 7:04Speaker 3: Fidel Castro wearing two Rolexes while the Cuban people were
- 7:08Speaker 3: starving in the dark. The Cuban delegation went wild. They
- 7:11Speaker 3: started rushing the stage, banging on their desks. I got
- 7:14Speaker 3: the audio. We're going to play all of it for you.
- 7:15Speaker 3: And if you haven't seen the video already on my
- 7:19Speaker 3: social media, make sure you check that out as well.
- 7:21Speaker 3: I've got a little play-by-play on there. But really, really interesting.
- 7:25Speaker 3: I've never seen things get so contentious. And I've been
- 7:27Speaker 3: in that room with delegations from the United Nations and association, right?
- 7:33Speaker 3: The people that try to make the UN go on.
- 7:35Speaker 3: And early in my career, I was, you know, trying
- 7:39Speaker 3: to give, I guess, the conservative representation inside that body
- 7:44Speaker 3: and was the chairman of the United Nations Association of
- 7:48Speaker 3: New Jersey, advocating with members of Congress in New Jersey.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Since I'd worked for a congressman, I figured I would
- 7:53Speaker 3: do some of that and, you know, went across the
- 7:55Speaker 3: aisle to talk to them. And so I quickly realized
- 7:58Speaker 3: that this A lot of this stuff wasn't as innocuous
- 8:01Speaker 3: as it seemed. In particular, the stuff I was advocating
- 8:05Speaker 3: for was just really for education, for schools, for kids.
- 8:09Speaker 3: I had started a charter school in maybe 2010 with
- 8:14Speaker 3: a couple of colleagues, the brainchild of Brett Schundler, the
- 8:17Speaker 3: former mayor of Jersey City, the former education commissioner for
- 8:21Speaker 3: the state of New Jersey. It's one of the highest
- 8:23Speaker 3: honors I've ever had in my life is to be
- 8:26Speaker 3: part of that founders group. As a founder of a
- 8:28Speaker 3: charter school, I thought this would be a good thing.
- 8:30Speaker 3: So I did it. And I spent a couple of years,
- 8:35Speaker 3: maybe a year and a half or so, maybe closer
- 8:37Speaker 3: to two years, with this United Nations group. And I
- 8:40Speaker 3: realized it's a cesspool of lefties. It's a cesspool of commies.
- 8:45Speaker 3: And this is why the Cuban dictators think they can
- 8:48Speaker 3: do whatever they want. We'll get into that in a
- 8:50Speaker 3: little bit when I get to that segment. But he
- 8:54Speaker 3: held him accountable, right? Ambassador Walz telling the communist thugs,
- 8:58Speaker 3: you can't silence me. He packed, he basically packed their
- 9:02Speaker 3: bags for Havana. I think he canceled their visas, told
- 9:05Speaker 3: them he can't come back. So good for him. We'll
- 9:07Speaker 3: get into that in a little bit. And seven days, America.
- 9:11Speaker 3: Seven days. New York City already showed us what happens
- 9:14Speaker 3: when good people stay home or assume that someone else
- 9:17Speaker 3: will handle it. You know, bystander effect. Despite every intervention,
- 9:21Speaker 3: every warning, New York City got Zoran Mamdani. Do you
- 9:25Speaker 3: want one big Mamdani for America? America has to vote.
- 9:30Speaker 3: That's it. That's all I could say. So I have
- 9:31Speaker 3: to ask you, straight up, what are you willing to
- 9:35Speaker 3: do today, tonight, tomorrow, for the next seven days to
- 9:39Speaker 3: make sure that many Zoran Mamdani's, many El Sayed's, many Tallarico's,
- 9:46Speaker 3: many Kathy Hochul's, and Kathy Hochul is not a many.
- 9:49Speaker 3: She's the real deal. She's on the ballot against Bruce Blakeman.
- 9:52Speaker 3: We got to make sure these people don't get elected.
- 9:56Speaker 3: That's the bottom line. Bottom line. Anyway, I think that's
- 10:02Speaker 3: where I'm going to pause right here. Also, I want
- 10:05Speaker 3: to do a segment. I'll leave it for the end.
- 10:06Speaker 3: The final segment on AI. Because SI, Super Intelligence, AI,
- 10:13Speaker 3: American Innovation, however you want to call it. I was
- 10:16Speaker 3: arguing with AI the other day. And let me tell you.
- 10:20Speaker 3: They are not only programmed to give you the left-wing response,
- 10:24Speaker 3: but they will double down with that response, triple down
- 10:27Speaker 3: with that response, and maybe at that fourth level of pushback,
- 10:31Speaker 3: they might say, you're totally right. That's one of the
- 10:33Speaker 3: problems we realize that all of our silicone, I'll read
- 10:36Speaker 3: you exactly how it went verbatim, because they will try
- 10:40Speaker 3: and railroad you if you're not sharp. So I'm going
- 10:42Speaker 3: to spend some time on that, just sharing with you
- 10:45Speaker 3: a little pushback I had with an AI during some research. Anyway,
- 10:50Speaker 3: keep it locked right here, familia. I am Rich Valdez.
- 10:52Speaker 3: Don't go anywhere.
- 10:54Speaker 4: This is America. This is America. He's brown, he's bald,
- 11:15Speaker 4: and he's breaking it down.
- 11:17Speaker 3: Oh, he's so handsome.
- 11:18Speaker 4: What's his name? Rich Valdez.
- 11:24Speaker 3: All right, welcome back, familia Rich Valdez, keeping you company
- 11:27Speaker 3: this Tuesday night, seven days away from the midterm elections.
- 11:32Speaker 3: Happy to be here with you. And I want to
- 11:34Speaker 3: get into this James Comey stuff, 86-47, good old Jim Comey.
- 11:40Speaker 3: now charged again, another indictment his way. I don't think
- 11:44Speaker 3: they brought him in. They didn't put handcuffs on him.
- 11:46Speaker 3: They didn't do any of that stuff. But of course,
- 11:49Speaker 3: he did take to social media. Of course he did,
- 11:53Speaker 3: to let everybody know how he felt. Listen to this.
- 11:57Speaker 6: Well, they're back again. It would almost be funny if
- 12:00Speaker 6: it weren't such an appalling abuse of the Department of Justice,
- 12:04Speaker 6: one that we cannot become numb to. Nothing's changed with me.
- 12:08Speaker 6: I'm still innocent. I'm still not afraid of these people.
- 12:10Speaker 6: And I still believe in the independent federal judiciary. And
- 12:14Speaker 6: I'm still lucky to have an amazing family and an
- 12:17Speaker 6: incredible group of lawyers. And we'll stand up in court
- 12:19Speaker 6: and fight the latest and whatever comes after this. The
- 12:23Speaker 6: next couple of years are going to be hard for
- 12:25Speaker 6: all of us. It's really important that we stand straight
- 12:29Speaker 6: and keep the faith in America.
- 12:34Speaker 3: That's James Comey. saying, here I am, keep coming after me,
- 12:39Speaker 3: playing that victim card, all seven feet of himself. And look,
- 12:46Speaker 3: I would do the same thing, right? If I were him,
- 12:48Speaker 3: I'd get out in front of this and be like, yep,
- 12:49Speaker 3: here they go again. They're after me again. I'm not
- 12:53Speaker 3: saying that he's right. I'm just saying he knows this stuff.
- 12:56Speaker 3: When you're FBI director, when you're CIA director, when you
- 12:59Speaker 3: are the head guy in these things that deal with
- 13:03Speaker 3: so much intelligence and do business the way they do,
- 13:07Speaker 3: You make a lot of friends. You probably make a
- 13:08Speaker 3: lot of enemies too, but you make a lot of friends.
- 13:11Speaker 3: And when you need those friends, here they are. So
- 13:16Speaker 3: my prediction is that this is yet another charge that
- 13:18Speaker 3: won't amount to much. I would say that while the
- 13:22Speaker 3: Department of Justice does not allow for indictments to be
- 13:25Speaker 3: handed out right before an election day because of the
- 13:27Speaker 3: Office of Legal Counsel's existing precedent and their established protocol,
- 13:34Speaker 3: Nothing seems to be stopping them from doing these investigations
- 13:36Speaker 3: and raids and for things of that nature. So no
- 13:42Speaker 3: perp walk for Comey, but adding some charges, you betcha.
- 13:47Speaker 3: And President Trump's pulling out all the stops because that's
- 13:51Speaker 3: what they did to him. That's what they do to us.
- 13:53Speaker 3: That's what they're doing, period, to try and take the
- 13:56Speaker 3: power that they want. Democrats are hell-bent on power and Sadly,
- 14:00Speaker 3: they are hell-bent on loving and defending criminals. And that's
- 14:05Speaker 3: just not me saying that. That's just a thing. Right?
- 14:09Speaker 3: We go from James Comey. Before we leave James Comey,
- 14:12Speaker 3: let me tell you what they think he's guilty of doing,
- 14:16Speaker 3: what he's being charged with. So the Department of Justice
- 14:20Speaker 3: has charged former FBI Director James Comey for a third time.
- 14:23Speaker 3: This is according to the Epoch Times. for leaking a
- 14:28Speaker 3: sensitive national security document to the New York times in
- 14:30Speaker 3: October of 2016. Now these allegations are contained in the
- 14:34Speaker 3: court records that were made public on Monday night. The
- 14:38Speaker 3: records show that prosecutors filed a two count criminal information, uh,
- 14:44Speaker 3: claim against Comey on October 5th, exactly 10 years after
- 14:50Speaker 3: the alleged conduct, uh, excuse me, transpired. So, uh, Now,
- 14:58Speaker 3: this information that they have is charging him under the
- 15:02Speaker 3: Espionage Act with transmitting national defense information to a person
- 15:06Speaker 3: who was not entitled to receive it and with conspiring
- 15:10Speaker 3: to do so. So, two charges there. Interesting stuff, right?
- 15:15Speaker 3: There is no grand jury indictment yet. Now, the judge,
- 15:20Speaker 3: District Judge Trevor McFadden, he wrote an opinion. granting Comey's
- 15:25Speaker 3: request to unseal the files in the criminal case against him.
- 15:29Speaker 3: The Department of Justice did not object to unsealing the
- 15:32Speaker 3: court docket. The order did not address Comey's pending motion
- 15:36Speaker 3: to dismiss, which argues that only a grand jury indictment,
- 15:41Speaker 3: not a criminal information referral, can keep the case alive
- 15:45Speaker 3: once the 10-year statute of limitations has run out. So
- 15:48Speaker 3: we'll see what happens. Now, these charges under the Espionage
- 15:53Speaker 3: Act are generally brought within 10 years of the date
- 15:57Speaker 3: of the alleged criminal act. And I think that's where
- 15:59Speaker 3: we are. It's for this reason that I feel like
- 16:05Speaker 3: it's a stretch, right? They did this 10 years ago.
- 16:07Speaker 3: Nobody ever brought this charge. It's going to be difficult
- 16:14Speaker 3: for the government to prove for the DOJ. to make
- 16:18Speaker 3: that case when you are going to likely have many,
- 16:21Speaker 3: many sympathetic judges who probably went to school with him,
- 16:26Speaker 3: who worked with him on a bunch of different cases
- 16:28Speaker 3: in his years in the FBI. This is why it's
- 16:30Speaker 3: so hard to drain the swamp. So the Department of
- 16:35Speaker 3: Justice said that it did file the criminal information to
- 16:38Speaker 3: toll or to extend the statute of limitations on that
- 16:42Speaker 3: particular offense that would otherwise have expired earlier this month.
- 16:46Speaker 3: The DOJ spokesperson told the Epoch Times that the practice
- 16:50Speaker 3: is widely recognized in federal court and has been approved
- 16:53Speaker 3: by multiple circuit courts of appeal. So, pardon me, we'll
- 16:58Speaker 3: see if they accept it or not because it's an
- 17:01Speaker 3: ongoing criminal investigation. The spokesperson said the department won't comment
- 17:05Speaker 3: any further. Now, the DOJ said in an October 23rd
- 17:09Speaker 3: filing that the 2016 article titled Yahoo said to have
- 17:15Speaker 3: aided U.S. email surveillance by adapting spam filter, cited two
- 17:22Speaker 3: unidentified government officials who spoke on condition of anonymity. The
- 17:27Speaker 3: article contained classified information that was not supposed to be
- 17:31Speaker 3: released to the public and was significantly similar to the
- 17:34Speaker 3: information that appeared in an internal government email that had
- 17:39Speaker 3: been circulated just hours before the article was published, according
- 17:42Speaker 3: to this particular filing. It's getting thick here. It's getting... Anyway,
- 17:49Speaker 3: prosecutors say that Comey directed his staff to speak to
- 17:52Speaker 3: the New York Times about accuracy concerns related to a
- 17:56Speaker 3: Reuters article published the day before and that this led
- 17:59Speaker 3: to the unlawful transfer of sensitive information.
- 18:03Speaker 4: Interesting.
- 18:05Speaker 3: So now Comey's reacting with this new charge via the
- 18:08Speaker 3: Instagram video that I just played for you saying they're
- 18:11Speaker 3: back again, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Now Comey's legal
- 18:13Speaker 3: team has asked a judge to throw out the new charges,
- 18:17Speaker 3: arguing that they're legally improper. One of Comey's attorneys, Patrick J. Fitzgerald,
- 18:23Speaker 3: said on Instagram that his client is steadfastly maintaining his innocence. Now,
- 18:31Speaker 3: Fitzgerald did confirm that the charges are related to the
- 18:34Speaker 3: October 5th, 2016 New York Times article that prosecutors are
- 18:38Speaker 3: investigating during the first Trump administration, but did not take
- 18:43Speaker 3: action on. Now, remember, James Comey still has two criminal
- 18:47Speaker 3: investigations to his name that are still before the federal courts.
- 18:52Speaker 3: The false statements case against him was dismissed in Virginia
- 18:55Speaker 3: in November of 25. That was just a year ago.
- 18:59Speaker 3: But Comey had been charged with making a false statement
- 19:01Speaker 3: and obstructing a congressional proceeding. He provided testimony to the
- 19:05Speaker 3: Senate Judiciary Committee on September 30th of 2020. And the
- 19:09Speaker 3: indictment alleges that Comey misled Congress by claiming he had
- 19:13Speaker 3: not authorized anyone else to be an anonymous source in
- 19:18Speaker 3: news reports about a particular FBI investigation. A district judge
- 19:22Speaker 3: also dismissed the case, finding the prosecutor overseeing it had
- 19:26Speaker 3: not properly been appointed. I remember when that happened. The
- 19:33Speaker 3: government appealed, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the
- 19:36Speaker 3: 4th District I heard those arguments last month, and the
- 19:41Speaker 3: appeals court has still not issued a ruling on it.
- 19:44Speaker 3: So Comey's asked the court now in North Carolina to
- 19:47Speaker 3: dismiss this indictment brought against him. that alleges that he
- 19:51Speaker 3: threatened President Trump with the infamous 86-47. That was his
- 19:57Speaker 3: Instagram post in May of 2025, showing the seashells to
- 20:00Speaker 3: read 86-47, which, of course, 86 is a.
- 20:09Speaker 3: A nod to remove or get rid of somebody, a
- 20:12Speaker 3: term that the mob has used that, you know, is
- 20:15Speaker 3: synonymous with killing somebody, restaurants used with throwing out a
- 20:18Speaker 3: bad dish, that type of thing, at 86, the turkey,
- 20:22Speaker 3: that type of thing. So 47, of course, being interpreted
- 20:25Speaker 3: to refer to President Trump, who's the 47th president. Now,
- 20:28Speaker 3: Comey says that he found the seashells arranged on a
- 20:31Speaker 3: beach and took a photograph of them. I'm like thinking, oh,
- 20:34Speaker 3: I'm not the only one thinking like that, trying to
- 20:35Speaker 3: be a little cute. Get it? And listen, At the time,
- 20:40Speaker 3: you can play back my tapes. I told you, seems
- 20:42Speaker 3: like a stretch. I think he's wrong for saying those things,
- 20:45Speaker 3: but doesn't mean that he's a criminal. And that's, you know,
- 20:50Speaker 3: I'm glad they're taking action because, look, Trump has to
- 20:53Speaker 3: stand up for himself. There were actual attempts on Trump's life.
- 20:58Speaker 3: But when you're a guy like me that makes a
- 21:00Speaker 3: living of talking smack, I can't sit here and throw
- 21:04Speaker 3: stones at Comey for talking smack. Now, I don't call
- 21:07Speaker 3: for the death of anybody. But I get it. Free speech.
- 21:12Speaker 3: I'm willing to have that fight every day. Let's have
- 21:14Speaker 3: the free speech fight. Now, the other stuff, leaking classified documents, interfering,
- 21:19Speaker 3: lying to Congress, whatever it is. Listen, I hope they
- 21:23Speaker 3: get him if he did something wrong, which I'm sure
- 21:25Speaker 3: he did. I'm sure. Listen, I think he should have
- 21:28Speaker 3: been charged and tried and jailed or removed or whatever
- 21:31Speaker 3: the consequence was back when he interfered in the 2016 election.
- 21:36Speaker 3: saying we're looking into Hillary Clinton. What she did is really,
- 21:39Speaker 3: really bad. But I decided as FBI director that I'm
- 21:42Speaker 3: not even going to talk to the prosecutors about this.
- 21:45Speaker 3: And we're just going to kind of wink, wink, nod, nod,
- 21:47Speaker 3: let it go, but publicly embarrass her. Talk about trying
- 21:51Speaker 3: to tilt an election. And by the way, that's what the, uh,
- 21:56Speaker 3: former CIA director had to say, John Brennan, John Brennan, who, um,
- 22:02Speaker 3: I don't know, he's like a modern day Frankenstein, right?
- 22:04Speaker 3: He kind of looks like a modern day Frankenstein. Looks
- 22:07Speaker 3: like he was put together by a lot of different parts.
- 22:11Speaker 3: And like every morning they jumpstart the guy. And look,
- 22:14Speaker 3: I don't want to be mean. I'm not trying to
- 22:16Speaker 3: be mean. I am being mean, but I'm not trying
- 22:18Speaker 3: to be. It's just part of the joke. But he's
- 22:24Speaker 3: a national security analyst on MSNOW, formerly MSNBC. And He
- 22:31Speaker 3: made some comments a couple of days ago that, again,
- 22:34Speaker 3: right in line with what Democrats do, right? Embracing the chaos,
- 22:38Speaker 3: embracing all of the craziness. He followed some comments from
- 22:43Speaker 3: Obama's lawyer, Eric Holder, who was on. And then he
- 22:47Speaker 3: gets brought on by the daughter of Senator Bob Menendez. Now,
- 22:52Speaker 3: the daughter of Senator Menendez, Alicia Menendez, is the host
- 22:55Speaker 3: of a show called On the Line, which is the.
- 23:01Speaker 3: The show where he made these comments. Listen to this.
- 23:10Speaker 5: What concerns you most? Well, the Office of the Presidency
- 23:15Speaker 5: has tremendous authorities that it can use the executive branch,
- 23:19Speaker 5: as we've seen, whether it be the Department of Justice
- 23:21Speaker 5: or ICE or other elements of the Department of Homeland Security,
- 23:25Speaker 5: to disrupt the day of the election or to actually
- 23:28Speaker 5: challenge the certifications afterwards. So again, I think Donald Trump
- 23:32Speaker 5: is going to do whatever he can get away with.
- 23:34Speaker 3: And unfortunately, we have people like Todd.
- 23:36Speaker 2: Blanche, who I think is just showing how devious a
- 23:40Speaker 2: lawyer he is by trying to defend the individual.
- 23:42Speaker 3: Devious a lawyer? The guy's a brilliant lawyer. Why would
- 23:46Speaker 3: we call him devious? What did he do that's wrong?
- 23:48Speaker 3: It's your buddies that are in the legal business, right?
- 23:51Speaker 3: You're Andrew McCabe and the rest of these guys, James Comey,
- 23:55Speaker 3: your buddy Clapper. These are the people. that are nefarious,
- 23:59Speaker 3: in my opinion, right? Doing things behind closed doors, trying
- 24:02Speaker 3: to set people up and overthrow the United States government.
- 24:06Speaker 3: But hey, who am I? Go ahead, play the tape.
- 24:08Speaker 5: Defensible.
- 24:09Speaker 2: Because the things that he's been saying on the talk
- 24:11Speaker 2: shows this weekend, you know, I think certainly show that
- 24:14Speaker 2: he has an unprincipled view and and attitude toward his
- 24:18Speaker 2: job as attorney general. These elections are so critically important.
- 24:22Speaker 2: And it's rather curious as to why all the elections
- 24:25Speaker 2: that go Donald Trump's way, he has no problem with
- 24:28Speaker 2: in terms of saying that they were fraudulently achieved. Anytime
- 24:32Speaker 2: it goes against his way or his preferred outcome, he
- 24:35Speaker 2: claims fraud. He claims a re-election. He claims some type
- 24:38Speaker 2: of interference. So, again, it just shows that Donald Trump
- 24:42Speaker 2: has no interest in a fair outcome of the election.
- 24:46Speaker 2: What he's looking for is any way that he can
- 24:48Speaker 2: tilt it.
- 24:49Speaker 3: He's looking to tilt the election. That's John Brennan, a.k.a.
- 24:56Speaker 3: Gus Hall's biggest cheerleader. Gus Hall, of course, is a
- 24:58Speaker 3: Communist Party USA candidate, ran for president a million years ago.
- 25:02Speaker 3: And who was his campaign guy? That's right, John Brennan.
- 25:07Speaker 3: Voting for a commie back in his younger days. I've
- 25:10Speaker 3: never voted for a commie in my life. I've never
- 25:12Speaker 3: thought about voting for a commie in my life since
- 25:14Speaker 3: I was 18 and old enough to vote. I have
- 25:17Speaker 3: voted for pretty much, I guess, every Republican that I've
- 25:20Speaker 3: ever that's been in an election that I've been involved in.
- 25:23Speaker 3: But I don't say that as a badge of honor.
- 25:25Speaker 3: I just say that to say I knew exactly what
- 25:27Speaker 3: I was doing, even though I didn't know much when
- 25:29Speaker 3: I was 18. I knew what I stood for. I
- 25:31Speaker 3: knew what I thought was right. And it was never
- 25:33Speaker 3: voting for a Communist Party candidate, unlike the good director here.
- 25:37Speaker 3: Who wants to say that Trump is trying to tilt
- 25:39Speaker 3: an election? I am indeed, though. Go ahead, play the tape.
- 25:43Speaker 2: That the Republicans who continue to bow and genuflect to
- 25:46Speaker 2: him remain in control of the House as well as
- 25:48Speaker 2: the Senate.
- 25:50Speaker 8: You referenced the attorney general's round on the morning shows
- 25:53Speaker 8: this weekend.
- 25:54Speaker 9: I want you to take a listen.
- 25:55Speaker 5: He was.
- 25:55Speaker 3: All right, that's the end of that clip. But what's
- 25:59Speaker 3: interesting here is, again, this is Monday night. So yesterday.
- 26:04Speaker 3: on MSNOW's On The Line, former CIA director John Brennan,
- 26:08Speaker 3: said that President Trump and Attorney General Todd Blanch are
- 26:10Speaker 3: attempting to, quote, tilt the 2026 midterm elections. And you
- 26:16Speaker 3: just heard him say it. He said, well, the office
- 26:18Speaker 3: of the presidency has tremendous authorities it can use. The
- 26:20Speaker 3: executive branch, as we've seen, whether it be the Department
- 26:23Speaker 3: of Justice or ICE or other elements of the Department
- 26:25Speaker 3: of Homeland Security, to disrupt the day of the election
- 26:29Speaker 3: or to actually challenge the certifications afterward. So again, I
- 26:34Speaker 3: think Donald Trump is going to do whatever he can
- 26:36Speaker 3: do to get away with. And unfortunately, we have people
- 26:41Speaker 3: like Todd Blanche, who I think is just showing how
- 26:43Speaker 3: devious a lawyer he is, trying to defend the indefensible
- 26:48Speaker 3: because of the things that he's been saying on the
- 26:50Speaker 3: talk shows. And that's where they left off. This is, obviously,
- 26:58Speaker 3: this is how rhetoric works, right? I say it's potato.
- 27:01Speaker 3: You say it's potato. We disagree. I say you're a
- 27:04Speaker 3: baby killer. You say that you're defending a woman's right
- 27:07Speaker 3: to choose. Who's the bad guy here? Got it. I
- 27:12Speaker 3: understand all of it. But I'm going to tell you
- 27:16Speaker 3: that we've never seen the country look the way it's
- 27:20Speaker 3: looking right now. On many fronts, right? Economically, I don't
- 27:26Speaker 3: care what the indicators say. People are hurting. I talk
- 27:29Speaker 3: to a lot of people. I have my hands into
- 27:31Speaker 3: a retail business that sells jewelry. I hear the sob stories.
- 27:36Speaker 3: I talk to friends in the car business. Matter of fact,
- 27:38Speaker 3: I spend a lot of time at different car dealerships
- 27:41Speaker 3: doing promotions and meeting with advertisers and whatnot. And I
- 27:45Speaker 3: can tell you, they're in a different boat too. The
- 27:49Speaker 3: other day, I've shared this before and I'm sharing it again.
- 27:52Speaker 3: I've recently spoken with a restaurateur, 24 years in the business,
- 27:56Speaker 3: and told me this year is his toughest year, way
- 27:59Speaker 3: tougher than COVID was. Hold on to that for a second.
- 28:04Speaker 3: My jewelry partners in affluent Bergen County, New Jersey, telling me,
- 28:09Speaker 3: been in business for 27 years, going into 28. Never
- 28:13Speaker 3: seen a year this challenging, this lean. Now, I understand
- 28:18Speaker 3: the price of gold is up.
- 28:19Speaker 5: Why?
- 28:19Speaker 3: Because as the dollar becomes weak, gold becomes strong. It's
- 28:23Speaker 3: an asset class people like. Just because gold is going
- 28:28Speaker 3: up and you might have some, doesn't mean that people
- 28:32Speaker 3: can afford to buy it on a retail side right
- 28:35Speaker 3: so that's something to keep in mind then we have
- 28:38Speaker 3: the car dealer got a car dealer he's a full-time
- 28:41Speaker 3: cop and owns this as a business endeavor he has
- 28:46Speaker 3: maybe as a partner or two it's a pretty sizable
- 28:49Speaker 3: lot showroom rather and guess what he tells me the
- 28:56Speaker 3: same exact story i've been here for 15 years this
- 28:58Speaker 3: has been the toughest year haven't seen a year like
- 29:01Speaker 3: this in 15 years Now listen, this is not me
- 29:06Speaker 3: on the campaign for anybody. This is me showing you
- 29:09Speaker 3: the writing on the wall. This is what I'm observing
- 29:12Speaker 3: in real life. Nobody's complaining about the S & P.
- 29:18Speaker 3: People are complaining about people spending money in their small business.
- 29:24Speaker 3: That same jewelry store is part of a big jewelry conglomerate,
- 29:28Speaker 3: like a mini mall. with like 60 or 70 vendors
- 29:32Speaker 3: under one roof, all jewelry. And in the back of
- 29:37Speaker 3: that place, there's a little I'm going to call it
- 29:41Speaker 3: a deli, but it's not really a deli. It was
- 29:43Speaker 3: just a little food place. Guy sold like muffins and chips, coffee,
- 29:47Speaker 3: soda and water in a fridge, and then had a
- 29:49Speaker 3: small grill in there. And he could make you anything
- 29:52Speaker 3: from a bacon, egg and cheese in the morning to
- 29:54Speaker 3: a toasted croissant to, you know, um, A good sandwich.
- 30:02Speaker 3: That type of food, you know, short order grill food.
- 30:05Speaker 3: Guy's been there for 26 years. Just closed shop. November 1st,
- 30:11Speaker 3: that store will be empty. And that location within there. Again,
- 30:16Speaker 3: so you got one of the jewelers there telling me
- 30:18Speaker 3: slowest year they've seen in 28 years. The other guy
- 30:22Speaker 3: going into his 27th year and he's leaving at the end.
- 30:25Speaker 3: Right now, at the end of the month. These are
- 30:28Speaker 3: all real stories. Restaurant, not far from where I live.
- 30:30Speaker 3: The guy tells me it's the toughest year. And I've
- 30:33Speaker 3: seen it. Hey, where's the waitress? So-and-so. We had lots
- 30:35Speaker 3: of people go. I just talked to somebody, a network
- 30:38Speaker 3: executive for one of the large television networks, news network.
- 30:43Speaker 3: Guy tells me we did a round of layoffs not
- 30:45Speaker 3: too long ago. We're doing another round of layoffs. Now,
- 30:48Speaker 3: some people can push back on me and say, no, Rich,
- 30:50Speaker 3: this is the AI. And it could be a number
- 30:54Speaker 3: of things. I'm not sitting here blaming Trump for this.
- 30:58Speaker 3: If anything, I'm blaming Biden. I think it was really
- 31:00Speaker 3: Biden that took things south and quickly, inheriting a decent
- 31:05Speaker 3: situation from Trump and taking it sideways. Now, some people
- 31:11Speaker 3: are trying to blame Trump for this saying, look, when
- 31:13Speaker 3: we got here, you know, things weren't this bad. No,
- 31:17Speaker 3: things were this bad. They're just now they're catching up.
- 31:20Speaker 3: They're becoming institutionalized.
- 31:23Speaker 4: Right.
- 31:23Speaker 3: You've got people that are scaling back all sorts of expenses.
- 31:27Speaker 10: Why?
- 31:28Speaker 3: Because they're fearful. They see the price of gas going up.
- 31:31Speaker 3: And this is not an economic segment. It's because of
- 31:34Speaker 3: what we were talking about. It kind of spun into this.
- 31:37Speaker 3: And all of that said, all of the nature of
- 31:40Speaker 3: the beast that we have right now, the precarious situation
- 31:43Speaker 3: that we're in economically, I would not think twice about
- 31:47Speaker 3: voting against Donald Trump. I would not think of it
- 31:53Speaker 3: at all. The worst thing we could do right now
- 31:56Speaker 3: is vote against El Trumpito. There's been a massive investment
- 32:00Speaker 3: in AI infrastructure. Whatever issues are being caused by the war,
- 32:05Speaker 3: it seems like the United States is preparing to put
- 32:08Speaker 3: an end to this war. But the proper end, finishing
- 32:12Speaker 3: the job, eliminating the threat, making good and seeking restitution
- 32:17Speaker 3: for the soldiers that were killed in Beirut, doing the
- 32:23Speaker 3: right thing by everybody who suffered at the hands of
- 32:25Speaker 3: this genocidal Islamist regime. I wouldn't consider voting against Trump
- 32:32Speaker 3: at all. And neither should you. And people are saying, Rich,
- 32:36Speaker 3: Trump's not on the ballots, not being such a sycophant. No,
- 32:39Speaker 3: but the rest of his team is. And we want
- 32:41Speaker 3: to see the country move forward in the right direction.
- 32:44Speaker 3: If we want to see the country in a position
- 32:46Speaker 3: where we can do what's right and implement the changes
- 32:48Speaker 3: that have been talked about. Think about the record that
- 32:51Speaker 3: he has so far. Talking about the, I was going
- 32:55Speaker 3: to call it the Green New Deal. The big, beautiful bill.
- 33:00Speaker 3: Come on, right? People being able to write off auto
- 33:04Speaker 3: insurance interests on cars that are made in the USA.
- 33:08Speaker 3: All sorts of things, right? All the Airbnb tax credits
- 33:12Speaker 3: that have been put in there. This is designed to
- 33:16Speaker 3: create wealth. It's a new economy and Trump is on
- 33:19Speaker 3: the cutting edge. He's on the front end of it.
- 33:21Speaker 3: The rest of us are trying to catch up. That's
- 33:23Speaker 3: why people are complaining because it's true. You might have
- 33:27Speaker 3: another rough year in your restaurant. You might have another
- 33:29Speaker 3: rough year in the jewelry place. I get that. But
- 33:34Speaker 3: you know where we can make money? In Airbnb. We
- 33:37Speaker 3: can make some money in everything that seems to be
- 33:40Speaker 3: growing right now. Skilled trades, data centers, etc., etc., etc.
- 33:46Speaker 3: So it's not that the opportunity doesn't exist. It's that
- 33:50Speaker 3: our ability to pivot is tainted. Don't go anywhere. I'm
- 33:55Speaker 3: Rich Valdez.
- 33:56Speaker 4: This is America. This is America.
- 34:09Speaker 10: The 45th president, Donald Trump, thinks it's an honor to
- 34:13Speaker 10: speak with Rich Valdez.
- 34:14Speaker 4: Oh, very good, Mr. Call Screener. It's an honor. Thanks, Rich.
- 34:19Speaker 3: The honor is all yours.
- 34:22Speaker 10: Conservative talk with a dash of sofrito now here's rich valdez.
- 34:30Speaker 3: All right familia welcome back rich valdez keeping you company
- 34:33Speaker 3: this tuesday night and i've said it before and i'll
- 34:35Speaker 3: say it again democrats never met a criminal they didn't
- 34:39Speaker 3: love this time we're looking at eric swalwell being investigated
- 34:45Speaker 3: because of prostitution related charges you also got a state
- 34:50Speaker 3: senator in uh California, as well as one in Virginia,
- 34:56Speaker 3: being charged with, the one in Virginia being charged with
- 35:00Speaker 3: drug trafficking and money laundering. I got a clip from
- 35:04Speaker 3: Kash Patel talking about everything else that's happening here with
- 35:08Speaker 3: this woman from Virginia, Senator Louise Lucas. Listen to this.
- 35:13Speaker 11: As alleged by the Attorney General.
- 35:15Speaker 7: Ms.
- 35:15Speaker 11: Lucas, for the last nearly five years, accumulated nearly $ 5
- 35:19Speaker 11: million in ill-gotten gains through her criminal enterprise.
- 35:23Speaker 5: Ms.
- 35:23Speaker 11: Lucas served in a position of trust for nearly four
- 35:26Speaker 11: decades and served as the President Pro Tempore of the
- 35:29Speaker 11: Senate for the Virginia State Senate for these last five,
- 35:31Speaker 11: six years. During that time, as alleged in the indictment,
- 35:35Speaker 11: her and her six co-conspirators, instead of serving the public,
- 35:39Speaker 11: as was her job, manufactured and created a criminal enterprise
- 35:43Speaker 11: to illicitly enriched themselves by procuring sales and stores and
- 35:49Speaker 11: divisions through the marijuana and CBD enterprise.
- 35:53Speaker 2: Ms.
- 35:54Speaker 11: Lucas has many things to answer for on the allegation.
- 36:00Speaker 11: The purpose of her enterprise included trafficking large quantities of
- 36:04Speaker 11: illegal marijuana, creating generational wealth for members and associates of
- 36:08Speaker 11: her criminal enterprise, recycling drug proceeds to expand the operation
- 36:13Speaker 11: that she launched and created, and steering marijuana licenses to
- 36:16Speaker 11: entities in which members held financial interest. During her time
- 36:20Speaker 11: as Virginia State Senator, instead of enforcing the law, she
- 36:23Speaker 11: was actually breaking the law, as alleged in the indictment,
- 36:26Speaker 11: and then using her position of power in public trust
- 36:29Speaker 11: to deflect and defend against her own criminal enterprise.
- 36:33Speaker 4: Wow.
- 36:34Speaker 3: Ain't that something?
- 36:37Speaker 10: Right?
- 36:38Speaker 3: Look at this. What are we doing here with a
- 36:40Speaker 3: good senator? Senator Louise Lucas. Now, let's just take a
- 36:46Speaker 3: look at the brief here. Virginia Senator Louise Lucas was
- 36:50Speaker 3: charged Thursday in connection with an alleged role leading a
- 36:55Speaker 3: criminal enterprise, an indictment that was unsealed by Kash Patel
- 36:58Speaker 3: and Attorney General Blanch. Charged Lucas and six co-defendants, including
- 37:04Speaker 3: her daughters and grandson. A Justice Department spokesperson said that
- 37:09Speaker 3: Lucas self-surrendered on Thursday. So this happened just before the weekend. And, again,
- 37:18Speaker 3: this is an older woman. I don't know how old
- 37:21Speaker 3: she is, but she's got a head full of white hair.
- 37:24Speaker 3: Maybe I wasn't allowed to say that. Forgive me if
- 37:26Speaker 3: I am. She put a statement online. And here's what
- 37:33Speaker 3: she had to say. Statement from Senate President Pro Tempore. L.
- 37:39Speaker 3: Louise Lucas. Today, the FBI, the Department of Justice, and
- 37:43Speaker 3: the full weight of the federal government have been wielded
- 37:46Speaker 3: against an 82-year-old great-grandmother. I grew up under Jim Crow.
- 37:51Speaker 3: I have seen what happens when people in power try
- 37:54Speaker 3: to silence those who stand up against them. I spent
- 37:57Speaker 3: my life... What if I read this like if I
- 37:59Speaker 3: was Kamala Harris or AOC? Throw a little Southern twang
- 38:03Speaker 3: in there. I grew up under Jim Crow. I've seen
- 38:06Speaker 3: what happens when people in power try to silence those
- 38:09Speaker 3: who stand up to them. I spent my life fighting
- 38:12Speaker 3: back and I'm not stopping now. I'm not new to this.
- 38:17Speaker 3: I am true to this.
- 38:19Speaker 7: All right.
- 38:20Speaker 3: I'm not making fun of Ms. Lucas. I'm just doing
- 38:21Speaker 3: what AOC or what Kamala Harris would have done. She
- 38:25Speaker 3: went on to say, I will not be intimidated. I
- 38:28Speaker 3: will not be bullied. I will not back down. She
- 38:31Speaker 3: kept saying here. I have read the charging document alleging
- 38:35Speaker 3: a series of criminal acts by a member of the
- 38:37Speaker 3: Virginia Senate. In our American system of justice, people are
- 38:41Speaker 3: presumed innocent until proven guilty. And that is true for
- 38:45Speaker 3: Senator Lucas. Oh, I thought that was the governor. Forgive me.
- 38:53Speaker 3: I was using my AOC and AOC's newly found southern
- 38:57Speaker 3: accent for that one. But that's actually a quote from
- 39:00Speaker 3: Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger. So I'll read it again. I
- 39:03Speaker 3: don't know if I can do a Spanberger, but if
- 39:05Speaker 3: I did, it would go like this. I have read
- 39:07Speaker 3: the charging document alleging a series of criminal acts by
- 39:10Speaker 3: a member of the Virginia Senate. In our American system
- 39:13Speaker 3: of justice, people are presumed innocent until proven guilty. And
- 39:17Speaker 3: that is true for Senator L. Louise Lucas. She and
- 39:19Speaker 3: her family deserve the opportunity to present their defense and
- 39:22Speaker 3: speak to the allegations presented. The timing of this indictment
- 39:26Speaker 3: undermines U.S. Department of Justice's previously longstanding policy. of not
- 39:30Speaker 3: taking legal actions to include indictments or significant investigative steps
- 39:34Speaker 3: close to an election. And sadly, this timing further erodes
- 39:39Speaker 3: the trust the American people deserve to have in the
- 39:42Speaker 3: Department of Justice. Now, I want to just take that
- 39:44Speaker 3: apart for one moment. As you, as part of the
- 39:47Speaker 3: American people, Do you look at this and say, man,
- 39:51Speaker 3: look at Trump playing politics with the Department of Justice.
- 39:54Speaker 3: I no longer have respect for the DOJ. How dare
- 39:58Speaker 3: they arrest people a week before Election Day? Or do
- 40:00Speaker 3: you see this and say, it's about damn time. It's
- 40:03Speaker 3: about damn time we see corrupt politicians getting locked up
- 40:06Speaker 3: for doing corrupt politician things. I, for one, I side
- 40:11Speaker 3: with the latter. That's me. It is about damn time
- 40:16Speaker 3: we see some swamp drainage going on around here. Come
- 40:20Speaker 3: on now. And I'm absolutely thrilled. Thrilled, I say.
- 40:24Speaker 11: Tickled.
- 40:25Speaker 3: Like Chris Matthews with that little thing running up his leg. Listen,
- 40:29Speaker 3: this is a good thing. Again, and a little bit
- 40:32Speaker 3: of the backstory here, the brazen 82-year-old lawmaker, she spent
- 40:35Speaker 3: decades climbing the ranks in Virginia politics and has served
- 40:39Speaker 3: since 1992 in the state senate where she is the
- 40:42Speaker 3: president tempor. and pro tempore, I should say, overseeing the
- 40:47Speaker 3: chamber in the lieutenant governor's absence. She also leads a
- 40:50Speaker 3: powerful Senate Financial and Appropriations Committee, through which all legislation
- 40:56Speaker 3: with a budget impact must pass, using the position to
- 40:59Speaker 3: halt and ultimately kill legislation that she opposes. FBI Director
- 41:03Speaker 3: Kash Patel said in a statement that charges alleged that Ms.
- 41:07Speaker 3: Lucas and a tight-knit group, excuse me, family members and
- 41:13Speaker 3: associates orchestrated a multi-year scheme to enhance their own criminal
- 41:17Speaker 3: marijuana enterprise that he designated the Lucas Enterprise. Director Patel
- 41:25Speaker 3: says that she, Ms. Lucas, used her position as finance
- 41:29Speaker 3: chair to insulate the enterprise from criminal scrutiny and to
- 41:33Speaker 3: influence legislation for personal and financial benefit. So meaning they
- 41:38Speaker 3: were steering licenses to their family member and friends That
- 41:41Speaker 3: we're buying illegal marijuana from them is part of what
- 41:45Speaker 3: they believe. Cash Patel continues to say no one is
- 41:48Speaker 3: above the law. Adding that the FBI will continue to
- 41:51Speaker 3: follow the facts with the Department of Justice to ensure
- 41:54Speaker 3: that those responsible for criminal conduct are held accountable. Ain't
- 41:59Speaker 3: that something? And again, she's been an advocate of marijuana
- 42:05Speaker 3: legalization for a long time. She partnered to open a
- 42:10Speaker 3: particular shop called the Cannabis Outlet back in 2021 to
- 42:13Speaker 3: sell hemp and CBD products. Take two. While marijuana is
- 42:18Speaker 3: illegal to possess in Virginia, recreational retail sales of the
- 42:22Speaker 3: drug are not yet underway, although retail shops across the
- 42:29Speaker 3: state sell other cannabis-derived products. So that's why she was
- 42:34Speaker 3: selling the illegal marijuana, because she couldn't sell it legally.
- 42:37Speaker 3: Had this woman been in New Jersey, she'd be A-OK.
- 42:40Speaker 3: Instead of having Spanberger there, she'd have Mikey Sherrill having
- 42:44Speaker 3: her back. Because one thing we know, the Democrats, they
- 42:48Speaker 3: all stick together. That's just the bottom line here. Birds
- 42:52Speaker 3: of a feather flock together. Man, where's my head? You
- 42:57Speaker 3: know what it is? I haven't had coffee in about
- 42:58Speaker 3: 35 days. I'm trying to kick my caffeine habit. And
- 43:02Speaker 3: let me tell you, boy, do I feel it. Boy,
- 43:05Speaker 3: do I feel it. Right now I could go for
- 43:07Speaker 3: a little video of El Trompito talking about Nicki Minaj's ass.
- 43:10Speaker 3: But instead, I'm just going to take a pause right here.
- 43:13Speaker 3: Keep it locked right here. Don't go anywhere. I'm Rich Valdez.
- 43:17Speaker 4: This is America. This is America.
- 43:31Speaker 9: All right, familia, welcome back.
- 43:43Speaker 3: Rich Valdez keeping you company. And check this out. I
- 43:46Speaker 3: find it so interesting that you look at these elections
- 43:49Speaker 3: in Texas, in Ohio, great states, by the way. And
- 43:53Speaker 3: what do you find in these states? Well, I'll tell
- 43:55Speaker 3: you what I see. I see a bench of candidates
- 43:57Speaker 3: on the Republican side going out there. I see J.D.
- 44:00Speaker 3: Vance going out to Ohio. I see Vivek Ramaswamy, who's
- 44:03Speaker 3: in Ohio running for governor. I see Marco Rubio. I
- 44:07Speaker 3: see the president, right? These people are all out there
- 44:10Speaker 3: supporting John Husted and Vivek Ramaswamy. And then you look
- 44:16Speaker 3: at what's happening in Texas, same thing, right? The Republicans
- 44:20Speaker 3: are bringing out all the heavy hitters. You got Ted
- 44:23Speaker 3: Cruz out there and all the rest of them, right?
- 44:26Speaker 5: J.D.
- 44:26Speaker 3: Vance, et cetera. And guess what? Who did the Democrats
- 44:30Speaker 3: bring out? They don't bring out Beto O'Rourke. You don't
- 44:33Speaker 3: see them bringing out Hakeem Jeffries. You don't see Chuck Schumer,
- 44:38Speaker 3: even though it's his Senate.
- 44:40Speaker 4: No, no, no.
- 44:42Speaker 3: They don't have a bench. If they're lucky, they can
- 44:45Speaker 3: bring out the likes of AOC. And the only old
- 44:50Speaker 3: guard they'll bring out is Barack Obama, and I think
- 44:52Speaker 3: he's going to Ohio. But I don't know if he's
- 44:54Speaker 3: going to Texas. But they're bringing out throwbacks, right? Meanwhile,
- 45:00Speaker 3: the Republican Party's fresh. They've got a bunch of heavy
- 45:03Speaker 3: hitters that are actively engaged. And I got to tell you,
- 45:07Speaker 3: whatever party you're with, it says a lot. It says
- 45:11Speaker 3: a lot about having an active bench. A bunch of
- 45:15Speaker 3: guys that hold their own. They really do. Talk about
- 45:20Speaker 3: the former National Security Advisor, Mike Waltz. Former Congressman Mike Waltz.
- 45:25Speaker 3: Colonel Mike Waltz. United States Army Green Beret Special Forces
- 45:30Speaker 3: Operator Mike Waltz, who's now His Excellency, United States Ambassador
- 45:37Speaker 3: to the United Nations Mike Waltz. And who decided to
- 45:41Speaker 3: start some problems with Ambassador Waltz yesterday? None other than
- 45:46Speaker 3: Los Cubano. The Cubans, they didn't like a bit of it.
- 45:51Speaker 3: He got up on stage. I'm going to play you
- 45:54Speaker 3: all the clips. So you can hear exactly how it
- 45:56Speaker 3: went down. Because you've probably seen some of this online,
- 45:58Speaker 3: but you don't know how it unfolded. Because you're only
- 46:00Speaker 3: seeing parts of it. I've got a bunch of them.
- 46:02Speaker 3: I'm going to put the story together so you can see.
- 46:04Speaker 3: He goes up there. He gives a nice speech. And
- 46:07Speaker 3: as soon as he starts saying things they don't like,
- 46:10Speaker 3: they start heckling. They stand up. They're shaking their heads.
- 46:13Speaker 3: They start banging on the desk. I mean, it's insane,
- 46:17Speaker 3: the lack of respect. But he hit them back, and
- 46:20Speaker 3: he hit them hard. Listen to this. Here's Ambassador Mike
- 46:23Speaker 3: Waltz explaining how Castro sent thousands of people, not only
- 46:27Speaker 3: to the slaughter, but to the poorhouse.
- 46:28Speaker 8: Castro sent thousands of gay people, Christians, Afro-Cubans, and others
- 46:39Speaker 8: to concentration camps. It was the regime who stripped them
- 46:43Speaker 8: of their property and profited from their forced labor.
- 46:48Speaker 3: You hear that stomping in the back? They're stomping their feet.
- 46:51Speaker 3: Soon they're going to start pounding on the desk like
- 46:53Speaker 3: a bunch of babies, right? Just like these cowbell Antifa
- 46:56Speaker 3: people that you see out in the streets when there's
- 46:58Speaker 3: a protest. I mean, ridiculous. In my lifetime, I've never
- 47:01Speaker 3: seen somebody do that. I've seen the president of Venezuela,
- 47:06Speaker 3: a guy named Hugo Chavez. I remember he got on
- 47:12Speaker 3: in his allotted time, took a huge breath through his nostrils.
- 47:16Speaker 3: He said, shh. What's that I smell? Sulfur. Sulfur. Because
- 47:23Speaker 3: he was following President Bush, and he said, because right
- 47:27Speaker 3: here stood the devil. That was a classic from back
- 47:30Speaker 3: in the days. I've seen some theatrics come out of
- 47:32Speaker 3: the UN, but no. I had not seen people banging
- 47:37Speaker 3: things like this was some sort of prison house riot.
- 47:40Speaker 3: Play the tape of the ambassador.
- 47:42Speaker 8: Ever since Havana would have you believe, everything in Cuba
- 47:47Speaker 8: has just disappeared. Well, we know we know where it went.
- 47:53Speaker 8: And today we are here to share it to the world.
- 47:58Speaker 8: I hope everyone, Mr.
- 48:00Speaker 3: By the way, now they're standing up doing the timeout sign,
- 48:04Speaker 3: screaming order, point of order, point of order. They're interrupting him.
- 48:07Speaker 3: They want to demand a point of order right at
- 48:09Speaker 3: this moment while he's giving his speech.
- 48:12Speaker 12: President is listening to the delegation right now.
- 48:17Speaker 8: Imagine what happens when someone asks questions.
- 48:21Speaker 12: Imagine what happens when someone asks these questions in Havana.
- 48:25Speaker 3: Excellent point. Talk about being on your game. He says, man,
- 48:28Speaker 3: these guys are freaking out because I'm here talking at
- 48:31Speaker 3: the UN. Imagine when somebody in Havana speaks truth to
- 48:35Speaker 3: power to their own government. Imagine what happens to them.
- 48:39Speaker 3: At this point, these guys are out of their seats.
- 48:41Speaker 3: They're marching down in the middle of his speech. Talk
- 48:44Speaker 3: about a lack of decorum.
- 48:46Speaker 12: Not in a room full of ambassadors and cameras.
- 48:49Speaker 8: Imagine what happens to those people if this is the
- 48:51Speaker 8: intimidation and disruption that we see. Your Excellency, I know
- 48:55Speaker 8: you don't like to hear this.
- 48:57Speaker 12: This is America, my friend.
- 48:59Speaker 3: I think we should get that clip and use it
- 49:01Speaker 3: as a promo for this show. This is America, my friend.
- 49:04Speaker 3: I love that. I am so proud of Ambassador Mike Waltz. Continue.
- 49:08Speaker 12: This is the United Nations. This isn't your communist dictatorship.
- 49:12Speaker 8: You cannot silence me or you cannot.
- 49:15Speaker 12: Silence my colleagues.
- 49:17Speaker 5: Mr.
- 49:17Speaker 12: President, this individual needs to back away from... this podium.
- 49:20Speaker 8: He's not going to intimidate me in the United States
- 49:24Speaker 8: of America like he tries to intimidate political prisoners. And
- 49:30Speaker 8: I'm the representative of the United States of America.
- 49:33Speaker 4: Back up.
- 49:35Speaker 12: Back up, Ambassador. Back away. This isn't Havana.
- 49:38Speaker 3: I'm suspending the meeting.
- 49:40Speaker 12: You're not going to intimidate me. I'm suspending this meeting.
- 49:42Speaker 12: Do you understand who you're dealing with? This is America.
- 49:46Speaker 3: Nobody's listening to this Indian guy in the back. I
- 49:48Speaker 3: am suspending. Gaveling. I am suspending the meeting.
- 49:54Speaker 10: Mr.
- 49:54Speaker 3: Minister, go back to your chair. Nobody's listening. These Cubans
- 49:59Speaker 3: are ready to throw down. Mike Walz is holding that podium,
- 50:02Speaker 3: telling them, fall back, son. You don't want none of
- 50:05Speaker 3: this Green Beret whoop-ass that's coming your way. This was
- 50:07Speaker 3: such an exciting clip to watch.
- 50:09Speaker 12: Back up. The rule is clear. This is the substance
- 50:13Speaker 12: of the speech. There are no procedural. You can bring
- 50:16Speaker 12: as many people as you want. Please sit down. Sit down.
- 50:19Speaker 7: I ask you to call the permanent representative of the
- 50:24Speaker 7: United States. That is the Cuban president at the beginning
- 50:28Speaker 7: of this altercation saying that he wants to call a
- 50:31Speaker 7: point of order to indicate that the ambassador from the
- 50:33Speaker 7: United States is lying, and not only lying, but lying
- 50:35Speaker 7: in a gross manner.
- 50:57Speaker 3: Talk about being a baby. What a wuss.
- 50:59Speaker 10: Mr.
- 51:00Speaker 12: Walsh, you are a.
- 51:01Speaker 7: Liar and you are saying things that are beneath the
- 51:07Speaker 7: dignity of the Cuban people. I wish you a better
- 51:11Speaker 7: performance in your future political positions.
- 51:25Speaker 3: He tells them after they calm down, I wish you
- 51:29Speaker 3: a better performance in your political career. But these guys,
- 51:33Speaker 3: these guys were hot. I want to take that again
- 51:36Speaker 3: back to the this is America. I like that part.
- 51:39Speaker 3: Let's take it from there.
- 51:41Speaker 12: Ambassador, back away. This isn't Havana. I'm suspending the meeting.
- 51:45Speaker 12: You're not going to intimidate me. I'm suspending this meeting.
- 51:48Speaker 3: He is suspending the meeting. I'm sorry. I don't mean
- 51:52Speaker 3: to make fun of him. It was so funny. He's
- 51:55Speaker 3: gaveling away. His gaveling was not even as loud as
- 51:58Speaker 3: these guys banging their desks. These guys were about it,
- 52:01Speaker 3: about it, right? They were ready to rock and roll.
- 52:03Speaker 3: And Mike Walls, I think he would have taken all
- 52:05Speaker 3: of them. But there's more. I got another clip. Because
- 52:10Speaker 3: they were escorted out by security and they got crazy
- 52:12Speaker 3: with security too. This might be that same one. Let's see.
- 52:16Speaker 3: Go ahead, play the rest of it.
- 52:18Speaker 12: Understand who you're dealing with? This is America. Back up.
- 52:23Speaker 3: That is the political way for Ambassador Walz to say,
- 52:25Speaker 3: you know who I am? Do you know who I am?
- 52:28Speaker 3: I love it. I love it. This is as gangster
- 52:31Speaker 3: as it gets.
- 52:32Speaker 8: The rule is clear. This is the substance of the speech.
- 52:35Speaker 8: There are no procedural.
- 52:37Speaker 12: The meeting is suspended.
- 52:39Speaker 3: The meeting. Okay. Get me the one with the security guard.
- 52:44Speaker 3: Don't touch me when he throws the phone out of
- 52:45Speaker 3: his hand because that one is very, very good, too. Oh,
- 52:52Speaker 3: you don't have it?
- 52:52Speaker 4: All right.
- 52:53Speaker 3: Well, I guess if you get it, you let me know. Oh,
- 52:58Speaker 3: you got it?
- 52:58Speaker 4: All right.
- 52:58Speaker 3: Let's play it.
- 53:04Speaker 4: Mr.
- 53:05Speaker 1: President, this individual needs to back away from this podium.
- 53:09Speaker 1: He's not going to intimidate me in the United States
- 53:12Speaker 1: of America like he tries to intimidate political prisoners.
- 53:19Speaker 12: And I'm the representative of the United States of America.
- 53:21Speaker 1: Back up!
- 53:36Speaker 3: That's not the part I wanted to see. They cut
- 53:38Speaker 3: it off. It's right after that. They get thrown out
- 53:42Speaker 3: by security. And when security throws him out, he knocks
- 53:46Speaker 3: the phone out of somebody's hand and security says, you're
- 53:49Speaker 3: not allowed to touch him. And he's like, I don't care.
- 53:51Speaker 3: And he hits it again. That's the best part. To
- 53:54Speaker 3: show you how radical these Cubans are. Let me see
- 53:57Speaker 3: if this is it. Go ahead, play it. No, that's
- 53:59Speaker 3: not it. You don't got it. They're playing it in
- 54:03Speaker 3: the background there. Anyway, listen. Bottom line is, these Cuban
- 54:07Speaker 3: guys are acting like thugs. I don't know why. Because, A,
- 54:13Speaker 3: Mike Walls just physically looked way tougher than them. I
- 54:17Speaker 3: honestly think three on one he would have done well.
- 54:20Speaker 3: But on top of that, How do you think this
- 54:22Speaker 3: is going to look when Mike Walsh has to go
- 54:24Speaker 3: talk to his boss? El Trumpito, Donaldus Magnus, the 45th
- 54:28Speaker 3: and 47th president of these United States. Or Marco Rubio.
- 54:34Speaker 3: And he says, hey, look, guys, I went there. I
- 54:36Speaker 3: tried to give my speech. You saw what they did.
- 54:38Speaker 3: They heckled me. They tried to get crazy. Right here
- 54:40Speaker 3: in New York City at the United Nations. Yeah, it's
- 54:43Speaker 3: sovereign land and whatnot. But I think they're looking for
- 54:48Speaker 3: a fight. And shoot, we've got Six days to go.
- 54:52Speaker 3: This would be a heck of an October surprise at
- 54:56Speaker 3: the hands of the communists. That would be great. El
- 54:58Speaker 3: Trompito needs to say, all right, we're going to do
- 55:00Speaker 3: a quick before we go to war with Iran and
- 55:02Speaker 3: we do all the blackout scenarios and the fortress scenarios.
- 55:06Speaker 13: Save your water. Save your electricity. Get your generators. We're
- 55:09Speaker 13: going to just do a little lights out. Nighty night
- 55:12Speaker 13: for Fidel's brother Raul and a couple of Cuban ministers.
- 55:16Speaker 13: We're going to show them how we did Mr.
- 55:18Speaker 3: Maduro.
- 55:19Speaker 10: Me, right?
- 55:20Speaker 3: A little bit of El Trompito action would be nice.
- 55:22Speaker 3: I don't know. That's the world I live in, right? Fantasyland.
- 55:25Speaker 3: That's what happens when you do this too long. We'll see.
- 55:29Speaker 3: We'll see how it works out. Anyway, that's my thought
- 55:32Speaker 3: on that. Anyway, I got a couple of minutes left.
- 55:34Speaker 3: I want to come right back. I want to talk
- 55:35Speaker 3: to you about Bolsonaro and this argument I had with AI.
- 55:38Speaker 3: Don't go anywhere.
- 55:41Speaker 4: This is America. This is America. He's making podcasting great again.
- 56:01Speaker 4: This is America with Rich Valdez.
- 56:05Speaker 3: All right, familia, welcome back. Six days to go. Tuesday night,
- 56:09Speaker 3: election day, seven days, seven days, excuse me, seven days.
- 56:12Speaker 3: We're almost there. It's almost midnight. Seven days from today,
- 56:16Speaker 3: six days as of tomorrow. And it's going to be
- 56:20Speaker 3: quite Quite an event, this midterm election. And I wanted
- 56:25Speaker 3: to get into a couple of things here. We don't
- 56:27Speaker 3: have a heck of a lot of time, but I
- 56:29Speaker 3: constantly get into these arguments with AI. And, you know,
- 56:39Speaker 3: I'll just ask a simple question in Google. It'll go
- 56:42Speaker 3: over to Google Gemini, and I'll see that it misinforms me. And,
- 56:47Speaker 3: you know, when I have the energy, the time... I
- 56:50Speaker 3: take it to task. I call it out.
- 56:53Speaker 5: Right?
- 56:53Speaker 3: For example, if I could pull it up quick enough,
- 56:54Speaker 3: I'll tell you exactly what I asked about the other day.
- 56:57Speaker 3: Because I saw this woman wigging out. She was having
- 57:01Speaker 3: a serious problem. And it was, you know, she was like,
- 57:07Speaker 3: I can't believe that they're deporting American citizens. And, man,
- 57:12Speaker 3: if it's not here, then we're screwed. I'm not going
- 57:16Speaker 3: to be able to share it with you if it's here,
- 57:18Speaker 3: if it's not here. I left it open just for this. Ah,
- 57:23Speaker 3: look at that. Would you look at that? Would you
- 57:27Speaker 3: look at that? I don't think it's here. Ah, well,
- 57:32Speaker 3: that really changes everything because it really was.
- 57:36Speaker 3: It really was very good. It was about... Damn. Well,
- 57:43Speaker 3: that kills my whole segment. Kills the whole segment and
- 57:47Speaker 3: I only had three minutes to do it. Now I'm
- 57:49Speaker 3: down to two minutes and 45 seconds. So that means
- 57:53Speaker 3: I'm going to be filling for two minutes and 45 seconds. Ah, goodness,
- 57:57Speaker 3: I tell you. Well, the good news is that this
- 57:59Speaker 3: is a eight or nine minute story. So I'll try
- 58:03Speaker 3: and get back what I was trying to find and
- 58:06Speaker 3: I will share it with you. But it was so interesting,
- 58:09Speaker 3: this debate about, about people being um oh boy deported
- 58:25Speaker 3: despite having what some are arguing legal status right and
- 58:30Speaker 3: it comes down to this argument about should we consider
- 58:33Speaker 3: the initial crime of entering the united states as a
- 58:37Speaker 3: crime and the left is convinced this is you know
- 58:42Speaker 3: a traffic infraction it's uh pissing in the street it's
- 58:45Speaker 3: It's a misdemeanor. Look, it's nothing that you should be
- 58:49Speaker 3: deported over, right? When the actual correction to that is,
- 58:54Speaker 3: in fact, getting deported, right? Staying over, staying a visa
- 58:58Speaker 3: and whatnot. And again, this is not against the immigrant.
- 59:00Speaker 3: I think too many people emotionalize these things where we
- 59:04Speaker 3: just have to have a system of rules. And our
- 59:06Speaker 3: rules may not be favorable or beneficial to the immigrant
- 59:10Speaker 3: because they're favorable and beneficial to the citizen of the
- 59:14Speaker 3: United States. And of course, the argument's always the same.
- 59:17Speaker 3: Nobody's going to do that work. And I just say,
- 59:19Speaker 3: sit back and watch. You're going to see how many
- 59:22Speaker 3: white American old people want to start picking lettuce because
- 59:25Speaker 3: the economy's gotten so tight. The economy dictates everything. The
- 59:29Speaker 3: market is king. And that's really what it always boils
- 59:33Speaker 3: down to. So I will get into that tomorrow. I'll
- 59:36Speaker 3: spend some time on that on our Wednesday night program. Plus,
- 59:39Speaker 3: I will keep you updated on what's going on with Netanyahu,
- 59:41Speaker 3: what's going on with Bolsonaro, does he make it out
- 59:44Speaker 3: of Brazil, and everything else that's going on, any pushback
- 59:48Speaker 3: from walls and Cuba. See if my predictions are right
- 59:51Speaker 3: that we do a little midnight visit over there. Anyway,
- 59:55Speaker 3: I always say you got to stand for something because
- 59:56Speaker 3: if you stand for nothing, you'll fall for anything. And
- 59:59Speaker 3: the only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: good people like you to sit there and do nothing.
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: So do something. Hasta la proxima. Take care. Good night.
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: And God bless you, America. I'm Rich Valdez. And this
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: is America.
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: This is America.
