West Carrollton’s City Council just lost a member—Mike Boyle stepped down on the spot at a council meeting, effective immediately, because he’s moving out of the city and can no longer legally serve. Appointed in February, Boyle was set to serve a full four-year term starting in 2026, but his relocation ends his tenure now. Mayor Rick Barnhart praised Boyle’s service and wished him well, acknowledging the big commitment of council work.
