- 0:11Speaker 1: Candice Lopez and producer Pooh you really a Kid in

- 0:19Speaker 3: And logo.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Billy's a Kid in the Morning. Welcome to your Thursday.
- 0:27Speaker 4: It is Friday, January twenty second right before I don't know,
- 0:32Speaker 4: dlaska whatever you want to call it, snow mcgeddon, Ice mcgeddon.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Yeah, whatever it is, it's coming, it's coming.
- 0:38Speaker 4: It's Mix one or two point nine A Bailly the Kid,
- 0:40Speaker 4: Cannie Slow Pants, producer pooh Oh, what a day yesterday, Cannas.
- 0:43Speaker 1: How are you right?
- 0:44Speaker 2: I'm good. Yesterday was definitely exhausting. But I did see
- 0:48Speaker 2: this video going around, and you know, my feet is
- 0:50Speaker 2: all like on social media, it's all like mom stuff,
- 0:52Speaker 2: parenting stuff, food stuff. I saw one that was basically
- 0:55Speaker 2: talking about how like it's our job as parents to
- 0:58Speaker 2: make our kids childhood magic. Yeah, so it kind of
- 1:02Speaker 2: inspired me. And yesterday Eric and I surprise Enzo at
- 1:05Speaker 2: lunch at school. So Eric put together his lunch yesterday
- 1:08Speaker 2: and instead of putting food in there, put a note
- 1:11Speaker 2: meet me in the back of the cafeteria, and so
- 1:14Speaker 2: we showed up and we surprised him with Chick fil
- 1:16Speaker 2: A yesterday and it was just like a really fun
- 1:19Speaker 2: surprise moment for him.
- 1:20Speaker 3: That.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Yeah, and so that's kind of like my goal this year,
- 1:23Speaker 2: I think, is to be more like make more magic
- 1:26Speaker 2: for my kiddo, like intentional magic this year while he's
- 1:29Speaker 2: still little at seven.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Well, and it's a perfect age.
- 1:32Speaker 4: And you do a great job either, weigh, even if
- 1:35Speaker 4: you don't do things like that, those moments are are special. Yeah.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Absolutely, It's just the Internet has got me in my
- 1:41Speaker 2: feels right now, just about the kids growing up and
- 1:43Speaker 2: like those last little hugs and cuddles and things. So
- 1:46Speaker 2: trying to make the most of it. But yesterday, that's
- 1:48Speaker 2: what I needed after all of the drama. Good yesterday
- 1:51Speaker 2: it was my kiddo and my husband.
- 1:52Speaker 4: So oh, I saw a video that tore me up
- 1:54Speaker 4: speaking of I don't know if it was yesterday or
- 1:56Speaker 4: the day before, but it was a mom and she
- 1:58Speaker 4: goes up to her son, who I don't know, maybe ten,
- 2:02Speaker 4: and she's like, well, there's a trend going around online
- 2:05Speaker 4: and everybody's doing a video the moms are doing a
- 2:07Speaker 4: video about the last time I'll ever be able to
- 2:09Speaker 4: pick you up.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Yes, Oh my god, I can't take it.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Tore me up. I'm like, what do you mean?
- 2:15Speaker 4: And it's like, this is probably the last time I
- 2:17Speaker 4: will be able to pick you up and hold you
- 2:19Speaker 4: even if you're big. Now and my son's fourteen, I
- 2:22Speaker 4: can't pick him up and he's huge. It's taller than
- 2:25Speaker 4: me at fourteen. And I just thought, oh my gosh.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a lot like I do this thing with
- 2:30Speaker 2: Enzo and I carry him to bed where he rides
- 2:32Speaker 2: on my back and I sing a little song. It's
- 2:34Speaker 2: like a whole thing that I do when it's my
- 2:35Speaker 2: turn to give him cuddles. And I just think, I'm
- 2:37Speaker 2: gonna do that as long as I can.
- 2:39Speaker 1: It's true.
- 2:39Speaker 4: And I do the same thing with Pooh every night
- 2:42Speaker 4: and he gets on my back and we play Horsey
- 2:45Speaker 4: and it's time for your bedtime story. Oh man, that
- 2:49Speaker 4: is tough. Well good, I'm good. I'm glad it was.
- 2:52Speaker 4: You're capturing those moments. Yeah, it was fun making the
- 2:54Speaker 4: best of it. Producer Pooh is here, Pooh, What's up?
- 2:56Speaker 1: Yesterday was a disaster. I went grocery shopping. Oh no,
- 3:00Speaker 1: your video, Yeah, don't tell me that people were going crazy?
- 3:04Speaker 1: Is it? Yes? I couldn't find no meat. I'll put
- 3:09Speaker 1: it on. It's just people were not this.
- 3:13Speaker 5: One guy knocked the whole thing of oranges and just
- 3:15Speaker 5: walk right past my film.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Person.
- 3:20Speaker 1: I was shamed someone.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean they probably deserved it.
- 3:23Speaker 1: I was like, so we just gonna walk past them oranges?
- 3:25Speaker 1: We just dropped huh and he just kept walking. I
- 3:28Speaker 1: picked him up. Yeah. I was like, people get crazy. Yeah,
- 3:31Speaker 1: that's so crazy.
- 3:32Speaker 4: I get that you want to prepare for the storm
- 3:34Speaker 4: and whatnot, but what I don't get is when you're
- 3:35Speaker 4: buying extra stuff because now I'm going to.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Go to the store today and there's gonna be nothing.
- 3:40Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah, and what am I going to do? I
- 3:42Speaker 4: didn't have time to go yesterday. Yesterday was a mess
- 3:44Speaker 4: for me.
- 3:44Speaker 2: It was for all of us.
- 3:47Speaker 4: But it was just a roller coaster of emotions. And
- 3:49Speaker 4: I'm going to talk about it a little bit later,
- 3:51Speaker 4: but if you missed it, we had some drama where,
- 3:53Speaker 4: you know, somebody put up these signs all over the
- 3:55Speaker 4: place saying to cancel me, cancel the show whatever.
- 3:59Speaker 1: I do have a development that today.
- 4:00Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, okay a lot because really, yeah, it frustrated
- 4:05Speaker 4: me yesterday not knowing who it was for sure, I
- 4:08Speaker 4: might know who it is. Okay, I'm going to read
- 4:10Speaker 4: you a very interesting email I got about seven thirty ish, okay,
- 4:14Speaker 4: around seven thirty, a very interesting email, but its just
- 4:18Speaker 4: I don't know. I'll get into it later, probably a
- 4:21Speaker 4: little bit more. But I went from feeling like a
- 4:23Speaker 4: little bit down because you know, somebody's doing something that
- 4:27Speaker 4: feels like to attack your.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Show, right, it feels like, hey, it it.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Feels like it, yeah, betrayal.
- 4:32Speaker 4: And then I was on a high yesterday when we
- 4:34Speaker 4: started talking about it because everybody was calling and the
- 4:37Speaker 4: messages I was getting on.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Instagram made my day and I can't even.
- 4:41Speaker 4: Respond to all of them about how people listen and
- 4:43Speaker 4: where they listen and who they listen with and what
- 4:45Speaker 4: it means to them and how we make them laugh
- 4:47Speaker 4: and that's why I do this. And then yesterday night
- 4:50Speaker 4: it was like I was back down again. Yeah, I
- 4:53Speaker 4: was back down because it was like, I don't know,
- 4:55Speaker 4: things slow down and you start to think, like, why
- 4:58Speaker 4: would somebody do this?
- 4:59Speaker 2: Your process, it's just like anything else, your process, and
- 5:01Speaker 2: it comes in waves.
- 5:02Speaker 4: It is, so an update on that coming up. We'll
- 5:05Speaker 4: do it at like seven point thirty. But I had
- 5:07Speaker 4: a very very interesting email, and all of this is
- 5:11Speaker 4: kind of starting to make sense in a weird way.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Good I don't know, obay for some sense.
- 5:16Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Stories on the tents with Billy the Kid in the
- 5:21Speaker 2: morning only on the new Mix one two.
- 5:24Speaker 1: We are a lot going on today, Candice slow pads,
- 5:26Speaker 1: what's up.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Yeah, Well, today's our last day with above normal temperatures
- 5:29Speaker 2: will be around sixty today. But it looks like the
- 5:31Speaker 2: winter weather has slowed down a bit and it's timing
- 5:34Speaker 2: so that's good news for everyone getting home from work tomorrow.
- 5:38Speaker 2: But rain tomorrow turning to freezing rain and sleet in
- 5:40Speaker 2: our northern counties. Then as we get into Saturday, we're
- 5:43Speaker 2: looking for ice and sleet with any snow falling again
- 5:46Speaker 2: to the north. That will continue, and then Sundays when
- 5:49Speaker 2: most of us have our best chance for snow early
- 5:52Speaker 2: in the day, but an extreme cold watch we'll go
- 5:54Speaker 2: into effect Saturday evening through Monday morning. They're saying windshills
- 5:58Speaker 2: could be below zero for a lot of the weekend,
- 6:01Speaker 2: and I'm just like that is extremely cold.
- 6:04Speaker 4: Oh yeah, it's cold. I'm not even worried so much
- 6:06Speaker 4: about the cold is the ice. I don't worry about
- 6:08Speaker 4: the snow. I only worry about the ice because that's
- 6:10Speaker 4: what's going to take down power lines and I don't
- 6:12Speaker 4: want to be without power. But if it slows down
- 6:14Speaker 4: a little bit, I guess that's good because, like you said,
- 6:16Speaker 4: people get home Friday.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean the timing couldn't be better. This to
- 6:19Speaker 2: come through late Friday night, and kind of it's going
- 6:21Speaker 2: to disrupt the weekend obviously, but less people will be
- 6:24Speaker 2: on the roads and have responsibilities and places to be.
- 6:27Speaker 2: There are a lot of events being canceled or rescheduled.
- 6:30Speaker 2: I know a lot of school districts like DSD have
- 6:33Speaker 2: canceled after school activities tomorrow and for the weekend. Some
- 6:36Speaker 2: of those you know, athletic events are happening tonight. The
- 6:40Speaker 2: Texas Rangers have canceled their FanFest, the Forworst stock show
- 6:43Speaker 2: and rodeo that is still scheduled to go on as planned.
- 6:46Speaker 2: I think they've said they've only canceled that twice in
- 6:49Speaker 2: its history, so they're ready for that over at Dickey's
- 6:53Speaker 2: this weekend. But American Airlines and Southwest Airlines already announcing
- 6:57Speaker 2: they're going to be offering, you know, free flight changes
- 7:00Speaker 2: for anyone who wants to go ahead and figure that
- 7:02Speaker 2: situation out. That's going to be a lot.
- 7:04Speaker 4: I'm going to be so angry though, if all this
- 7:07Speaker 4: amounts to nothing and all of a sudden, we're sitting
- 7:11Speaker 4: here this weekend with like no ice, no snow, and
- 7:13Speaker 4: it's just cold.
- 7:14Speaker 2: Right. It's so hard to say because if you go online,
- 7:16Speaker 2: someone saying it's catastrophic, it's a generational storm, and I
- 7:20Speaker 2: can't tell how much of this is just people, you know,
- 7:22Speaker 2: sensationalizing this winter weather. But if you went through twenty
- 7:25Speaker 2: twenty one, it's like you don't want to be caught unprepared.
- 7:29Speaker 2: So that's why all the meat's gone.
- 7:30Speaker 4: I know the meat's gone, and I'm going to the
- 7:32Speaker 4: store today and I'm just like, why even go at
- 7:34Speaker 4: this point?
- 7:35Speaker 1: Yeah, because nothing's there.
- 7:36Speaker 4: Except I just don't need I just don't know why
- 7:38Speaker 4: you need fifteen things of toilet paper right for a
- 7:41Speaker 4: three day hibernation, Like, what are you doing in your bathroom?
- 7:44Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 7:45Speaker 2: I don't know. I mean I guess people are like,
- 7:46Speaker 2: what if we end up going days or people weeks
- 7:49Speaker 2: without power. How does this affect stores and supplies?
- 7:52Speaker 1: I don't know what think about.
- 7:54Speaker 4: Don't panic buy because if you panic buy, other people suffer.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Yeah, so get what you need for a few extra
- 8:00Speaker 1: and it's gonna be okay.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, I've never gone without power for that long,
- 8:04Speaker 2: so I have I know. I wasn't here in twenty
- 8:07Speaker 2: twenty one, but I heard it was pretty rough.
- 8:09Speaker 4: Yeah, it was bad. So we'll see what happens. But
- 8:11Speaker 4: hopefully it's not gonna get too too crazy. But tomorrow night,
- 8:14Speaker 4: get ready.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Yes, exactly. Well, guys, a Delta plane had to go
- 8:17Speaker 2: back to the gate after de icing fluids leaked through
- 8:20Speaker 2: the outside of the plane and soaked a passenger. This
- 8:23Speaker 2: I know. This happened at LaGuardia Airport in New York City,
- 8:27Speaker 2: So I guess the passenger told them, hey, this plane
- 8:30Speaker 2: is leaking. The pilot called the gate saying they were okay,
- 8:33Speaker 2: but they might need a new pair of pants. Yeah,
- 8:36Speaker 2: so they went back traded planes, got a new one.
- 8:39Speaker 2: And you know, they said, these de icing fluids are
- 8:41Speaker 2: non hazardous and these leaks are very rare. But can
- 8:44Speaker 2: you imagine you're just ready for your trip. And I'm d.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Ice, Now that's something that would happen to me, you
- 8:50Speaker 1: know what I mean.
- 8:51Speaker 4: I remember one time I was on a flight and
- 8:53Speaker 4: I looked out and I was sitting over the wing
- 8:54Speaker 4: and I looked on the wing and there was duct
- 8:56Speaker 4: tape on the wing, but straight up duct tape.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Can I not use duct tape holding.
- 9:02Speaker 4: A piece of the wing together? And I said something
- 9:05Speaker 4: to the flight attendant. I was like, Hey, is this
- 9:07Speaker 4: duct tape right? And I didn't know she was going
- 9:10Speaker 4: to go to the cockpit and say something. So then
- 9:13Speaker 4: the captain, like or one of the guys in a
- 9:15Speaker 4: serious suit, walks by and he's like, Oh.
- 9:18Speaker 1: That's actually aviation tape.
- 9:20Speaker 4: It's reflective and he and he made it like make
- 9:22Speaker 4: me feel better about it.
- 9:23Speaker 2: It's not just playing old duct tape.
- 9:25Speaker 4: But I think he was lying. Tae yeah, And I
- 9:27Speaker 4: kept looking at the whole damn flight. Every noise I heard.
- 9:30Speaker 4: I was looking out the window like, what was that?
- 9:32Speaker 4: Did we lose it? Did we lose a wing because
- 9:34Speaker 4: the duct tape flew off?
- 9:35Speaker 1: Remember that flight we were on and the guy kicked
- 9:38Speaker 1: the tire. I'll never forget that. When you shut up
- 9:40Speaker 1: Billy was like, calm down.
- 9:41Speaker 5: The dudes just went up to the plane, kicked the
- 9:44Speaker 5: tire and just nodded his.
- 9:46Speaker 4: Head like yeah, it's good, we're good. They do like
- 9:48Speaker 4: an inspection around the plane. Yeah, and this guy walked
- 9:51Speaker 4: around the plane like the pilot kind of looked like
- 9:54Speaker 4: you know, and then kicked the tire and like nod
- 9:55Speaker 4: in his head like all right, let's go.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Because it thumbs up.
- 10:00Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 10:00Speaker 1: I'm like, no, I don't want to get it was
- 10:02Speaker 1: so worked up.
- 10:03Speaker 4: I love flying with Poop because every noise I hear,
- 10:06Speaker 4: you know, the traditional noises that you hear, like luggage shifting, Yeah,
- 10:10Speaker 4: the wheels coming up.
- 10:11Speaker 1: I'll be like, what was that? And he's like what
- 10:13Speaker 1: what what?
- 10:15Speaker 2: That's why I like flying with my husband because he
- 10:17Speaker 2: used to be a flight attendant, so he knows the
- 10:18Speaker 2: plane like the back of his hand, all the sounds,
- 10:21Speaker 2: all the dings, anything, jet like. He knows everything. So
- 10:23Speaker 2: it's like, calms me down, because wow, I get a
- 10:25Speaker 2: play by play of what's happening.
- 10:27Speaker 1: We at least we never got de iced.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly exactly, guys. Apparently we got all worked up
- 10:32Speaker 2: yesterday about William Shatner for no reason. So this picture
- 10:36Speaker 2: of him went viral because he was seen eating cereal
- 10:39Speaker 2: while driving. Again, he's ninety four. It turns out this
- 10:43Speaker 2: was all for a Kellogg's at super Bowl commercial. Oh gosh,
- 10:46Speaker 2: I know. I guess. He took a few publicity photos
- 10:49Speaker 2: at different places, including that one, which he says is
- 10:52Speaker 2: the silliest picture he's ever taken. But the actual commercial
- 10:56Speaker 2: will be him inside a spaceship. They're saying, so, oh, yeah.
- 11:00Speaker 4: That was Do we like this like seeing the super
- 11:03Speaker 4: Bowl commercials before the Super Bowl?
- 11:05Speaker 2: I don't, don't.
- 11:07Speaker 4: It just ruins it for me because it's like the
- 11:08Speaker 4: only reason if the Cowboys aren't in, it's only reason.
- 11:10Speaker 1: I'm really watching exactly.
- 11:12Speaker 4: Yeah, So then we see them all before online, it's like, well,
- 11:14Speaker 4: what's the fun of that.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Now I've seen this already.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Exactly post them all online after the game so we
- 11:19Speaker 2: can go rewatch them and laugh again. But I want
- 11:21Speaker 2: to be locked in for the commercials kind with you
- 11:24Speaker 2: on that. Yeah, they've already announced to Post Malone, Shane Gillis,
- 11:27Speaker 2: Peyton Manning, they're going to be back for the Big
- 11:29Speaker 2: Man on the couldest act the bud Light commercials. So
- 11:32Speaker 2: instead of like the block party in the neighborhood. They're
- 11:34Speaker 2: going to be on their way to a wedding with
- 11:36Speaker 2: the Keg. I know K Pop Demon Hunters will be
- 11:39Speaker 2: in one of the spots for Liquid Ivy, But yeah,
- 11:42Speaker 2: I don't want to see them all I do.
- 11:43Speaker 1: I want to wait.
- 11:44Speaker 4: I just want to wait and see him and then,
- 11:45Speaker 4: you know, I want to bet on stupid stuff like
- 11:47Speaker 4: what what color shirt is bad.
- 11:49Speaker 1: Bunny going to come out in?
- 11:50Speaker 4: Yeah, and I want to bet on stuff like that,
- 11:52Speaker 4: So I don't or watch the Puppy Bowl halftime or
- 11:54Speaker 4: whatever it is. Yeah, exact, I don't want to see
- 11:56Speaker 4: everything that happens beforehand.
- 11:57Speaker 2: No, like that baby last year we heard the baby came,
- 12:00Speaker 2: I was like, oh that was a big one. Spoiler
- 12:02Speaker 2: alert guys, I'm kando Slowpaz. Those are your Texas top
- 12:05Speaker 2: stories on the.
- 12:05Speaker 1: Speeler fake news.
- 12:07Speaker 4: Let's do it right now. I'm gonna give you three headlines.
- 12:09Speaker 4: I gotta tell me which one is fake. Pooh won
- 12:12Speaker 4: yesterday finally right anyway, he did?
- 12:16Speaker 1: Okay, all right, three head You pretty much hadn't let
- 12:18Speaker 1: him win.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Well, I was gonna let him go first all week
- 12:20Speaker 2: until he won. But he won yesterday, so he did
- 12:23Speaker 2: max to normal.
- 12:24Speaker 1: All right, good, thank you so much, meaning meaning normal,
- 12:27Speaker 1: You're gonna win.
- 12:28Speaker 2: I mean, there's an advantage to going first.
- 12:30Speaker 4: Head Line number one, A fugitive snuck off after putting
- 12:34Speaker 4: his ankle monitor on a dog? What a fugitive snuck
- 12:39Speaker 4: off after putting his ankle monitor on a dog?
- 12:42Speaker 1: That is headline number one? Headline number two.
- 12:45Speaker 4: Man fakes being a pilot for years and gets hundreds
- 12:48Speaker 4: of free flights. What man fakes being a pilot for
- 12:52Speaker 4: years and get hundreds of free flights? Head line number two?
- 12:58Speaker 4: Headline number three, money is ten times dirtier than a
- 13:02Speaker 4: toilet seat. Money is ten times dirtier than a toilet seat.
- 13:09Speaker 4: Three headlines right there. You gotta tell me which one
- 13:12Speaker 4: is the fake?
- 13:13Speaker 1: Headline? All right? Who wants to go? Who's very silent
- 13:16Speaker 1: over there?
- 13:17Speaker 2: Who do you want to go first?
- 13:18Speaker 1: Are you okay? Yeah?
- 13:20Speaker 5: I'm thinking I will, But he fall asleep? No, No,
- 13:23Speaker 5: I was thinking I got it? Okay, who wants to
- 13:26Speaker 5: go first?
- 13:27Speaker 1: First? I'll go first. I think that first story is fake? Okay,
- 13:32Speaker 1: putting one? Is that? Putting a monitor on a dog? Okay? Fake?
- 13:36Speaker 1: You think that one's fair? Yeah, it's fair, all right, that.
- 13:40Speaker 4: Is locked in, Cannislopez. Which one do you think is
- 13:43Speaker 4: the fake story?
- 13:43Speaker 2: Welcome in for the last story? The money being dirtier
- 13:47Speaker 2: than a toilet seat, Really.
- 13:48Speaker 1: Yeah, I would think that you would.
- 13:52Speaker 4: I would absolutely think that moneier is dirtier than a
- 13:55Speaker 4: toilet seat.
- 13:56Speaker 1: I don't know, all right, locked in.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Much rather touch money than a toilet seat, me too.
- 14:01Speaker 4: But either way, the winner today is Wow, no surprise,
- 14:08Speaker 4: Cannice low Place.
- 14:10Speaker 1: Cannis. There you go.
- 14:11Speaker 4: Yeah, you were one hundred percent right. So let's get
- 14:14Speaker 4: to it these stories. First of all, a real story.
- 14:17Speaker 4: This pilot guy is amazing. So this guy basically thirty
- 14:22Speaker 4: three year old dude. He's a former Air Canada flight attendant.
- 14:27Speaker 4: Somehow he got a pilot's uniform. And what he did
- 14:30Speaker 4: for years is he would just pretend he's a pilot.
- 14:33Speaker 4: What So he would pretend he would get employee IDs
- 14:36Speaker 4: to book seats normally reserved for pilots and flight attendants,
- 14:40Speaker 4: and he would just show up and he would get
- 14:43Speaker 4: on the plane and just take for I.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Mean sometimes even sitting in the jump seat in the.
- 14:48Speaker 4: Cockpit, oh, and getting to his destination and then just
- 14:53Speaker 4: going I appreciate it, see yall later.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Blah blah blah.
- 14:55Speaker 4: It's a big airline. They don't know every pilot, they
- 14:57Speaker 4: don't know every flight attendant. And he did hundred. It's
- 15:00Speaker 4: got hundreds of free flights that way. He was arrested
- 15:04Speaker 4: and basically now he's over here because he's from Canada,
- 15:07Speaker 4: but he's extradited to the United States because it happened.
- 15:10Speaker 4: A lot of it happened here for whatever reason. So
- 15:12Speaker 4: if he's convicted, he could face up to twenty years
- 15:14Speaker 4: in prison. Geez, go to jail for that?
- 15:17Speaker 2: Is it worth it?
- 15:18Speaker 5: No, there were a movie where Leonardo DiCaprio did that.
- 15:21Speaker 1: That's Titanic. Pooh, that's a no. Yeah catching Oh really,
- 15:26Speaker 1: that's right. I've never seen that, I know. Shocker.
- 15:29Speaker 4: A fugitive snuck off after putting his ankle monitor on
- 15:32Speaker 4: his dog. Authorities in upstate New York are currently searching
- 15:36Speaker 4: for a man who skipped a court appearance earlier this week.
- 15:39Speaker 4: They looked at the tracking data from his GPS ankle
- 15:41Speaker 4: monitor and they realized, well, I mean it's moving around, yeah,
- 15:46Speaker 4: but it's acting kind of weird, like what's going on?
- 15:49Speaker 4: They found out, Oh wow, this guy's got Oh wow,
- 15:54Speaker 4: this guy's got the zoomies. This fugitive's name. Finally they
- 16:00Speaker 4: found out that they were like, this is weird, and
- 16:02Speaker 4: they found his ankle monitor.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Hooked up to a dog's ankle.
- 16:05Speaker 4: The fuge in his name is Lamont Holmes and he
- 16:07Speaker 4: was supposed to be in court for a hearing on
- 16:09Speaker 4: weapons charges. As of right now, he's still on the loose, thankfully.
- 16:13Speaker 4: The dog is okay. Okay, the dog the ankle monitor
- 16:16Speaker 4: was removed and the dog is okay. It's unclear if
- 16:20Speaker 4: the dog belongs to Lamont or somebody else. Either way,
- 16:23Speaker 4: Lamont found the dog and say, you know what, You're
- 16:25Speaker 4: gonna be the one where this ankle monitor, not me,
- 16:28Speaker 4: bro a big job.
- 16:29Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a big job.
- 16:31Speaker 4: Now, the story that was fake that I came up
- 16:34Speaker 4: with money is dirtier than a toilet seat. What surprised
- 16:38Speaker 4: me is I read a real story about this and
- 16:41Speaker 4: he gave me the idea, and it was about fingernails.
- 16:44Speaker 4: What do you think is dirtier fingernails or toilet seats?
- 16:48Speaker 2: Oh?
- 16:49Speaker 1: Toilet seats? Yeah, what do you think? What do you think?
- 16:52Speaker 2: But now I'm starting to think fingernails.
- 16:54Speaker 1: You think fingernails are dirtier.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Than a toilet. Washing your hands properly, yeah, you wash
- 17:00Speaker 2: your hands.
- 17:01Speaker 1: I would think the toilet seeds are dirtier. You are
- 17:03Speaker 1: absolutely wrong.
- 17:04Speaker 4: Fingernails are dirtier, they say, than a toilet seeds. They're
- 17:09Speaker 4: looking at it, especially after a workout. Oh, they say,
- 17:13Speaker 4: if you work out, forget going to the bathroom.
- 17:15Speaker 1: You should.
- 17:16Speaker 4: Of course you should wash your hands after you go
- 17:17Speaker 4: to the restroom. I have to tell you that. No, no,
- 17:20Speaker 4: you should sing Happy birthday and wash it for twenty.
- 17:22Speaker 1: Seconds, even though nobody does that, but you should.
- 17:25Speaker 4: But they say, the worst case scenario is right after
- 17:29Speaker 4: you work out and you've touched all that gym equipment.
- 17:32Speaker 4: Your fingernails are the dirtiest thing in the history of history.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Dirtier than a toilet seed, dirtier.
- 17:38Speaker 2: Than a penny, dirtier than money.
- 17:40Speaker 4: Dirtier than money, dirtier than anything you can imagine. Okay,
- 17:45Speaker 4: looking at your fingernails right now, Pooh, you need to
- 17:47Speaker 4: clean your I'm looking at him.
- 17:50Speaker 1: No, I'm looking at him right now. Who my cuticles
- 17:54Speaker 1: of fire? Let me see that you need to cut
- 17:56Speaker 1: those today. Yeah, they're trimmed up. Yeah, that's why I looked.
- 18:00Speaker 1: I immediately looked at I'm like, oh.
- 18:02Speaker 4: Yeah, make you sure I don't know book.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Today they do? Yeah, because one time I saw he
- 18:11Speaker 1: you know those guys who.
- 18:12Speaker 4: Who had a long pinky nail, Yes, he did here
- 18:18Speaker 4: with that. You know those guys that grow one long
- 18:20Speaker 4: pinky nail. If you have one long pinky nail, you
- 18:26Speaker 4: are not to.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Be trusted.
- 18:29Speaker 2: To promise you'll feel better.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Welcome to the Dirty Little Secret.
- 18:32Speaker 4: Yeah, Stirty Little Secret is on. It's mixed one of
- 18:34Speaker 4: two point nine. Mind him as Bailey the Kid. Candice
- 18:36Speaker 4: Lopez is here. A producer who is here? What does
- 18:39Speaker 4: it feel like being canceled? It's different.
- 18:41Speaker 1: It's different, not canceled now that I'm canceled.
- 18:43Speaker 4: It's just different. If you want an update on that,
- 18:46Speaker 4: we'll do it today at seven thirty. U major update.
- 18:51Speaker 4: I will say this much. I think I know who
- 18:54Speaker 4: it is.
- 18:55Speaker 2: Good.
- 18:55Speaker 1: I got an email from a person. I didn't actually
- 18:58Speaker 1: get the email. Our boss got the email. Zan got
- 19:00Speaker 1: the email.
- 19:01Speaker 4: And when you read the email, you just things start
- 19:05Speaker 4: clicking and you're like, okay, so I'm going to read it.
- 19:07Speaker 4: Coming up at seven thirty and we can talk about
- 19:09Speaker 4: it and talk about all the amazing messages that we
- 19:11Speaker 4: got to yesterday that I just thought was so special,
- 19:14Speaker 4: and I got to be honest, it kept me going
- 19:15Speaker 4: yesterday because I had some highs and lows all in
- 19:18Speaker 4: one day, in twenty four hours, and we try to
- 19:20Speaker 4: keep it as real as we possibly can on this show,
- 19:23Speaker 4: and there was a good portion of the day yesterday
- 19:25Speaker 4: where I was just like, you know what, I'm going
- 19:27Speaker 4: to delete every social media account I have because I'm
- 19:31Speaker 4: just irritated by it. I'm just irritated. I don't want
- 19:34Speaker 4: to do this kind of stupid drama for what. Yeah, like,
- 19:39Speaker 4: come on, really, we're trying to host a show that's
- 19:41Speaker 4: just fun and make people laugh and it's not that serious. No,
- 19:44Speaker 4: when it turns into something like this, you're like, this
- 19:46Speaker 4: is not fun. It's not fun. So seven point thirty
- 19:49Speaker 4: we'll talk about it. But all those messages kept me
- 19:51Speaker 4: going yesterday. I can't even read them all and I'm
- 19:53Speaker 4: trying to respond to some of them, and the dms
- 19:55Speaker 4: just amazing.
- 19:57Speaker 2: So thank you, thank you.
- 19:58Speaker 4: We love y'all so much. But you have no idea
- 20:02Speaker 4: dirty little secret. Well, if you have one, bring it
- 20:05Speaker 4: eight three three seven eight seven one O two nine.
- 20:08Speaker 4: And part of the reason I think this person was
- 20:10Speaker 4: so mad has to do with a dirty little secret too, okay,
- 20:15Speaker 4: or maybe more than one. Oh, but yes, just trust me,
- 20:20Speaker 4: all right, you have a secret. So so what's going on?
- 20:24Speaker 3: This is an ugly one, I gotta tell you, Okay, Yeah,
- 20:28Speaker 3: I'm not proud of it.
- 20:31Speaker 4: So I.
- 20:33Speaker 3: Make my eleven year old and sell candy for his
- 20:36Speaker 3: band trip. And sometimes it's door to door and sometimes
- 20:41Speaker 3: it's in front of you know, grocery stores or whatnot
- 20:44Speaker 3: have you for his Well that's well, that's the problem. No,
- 20:48Speaker 3: it's not cool, because the problem is there is no
- 20:50Speaker 3: band trip. He's not even in band. No, he's not
- 20:54Speaker 3: even in band. So what I made it up?
- 20:56Speaker 1: So for what he's selling candy for what?
- 20:59Speaker 3: Well, we hit a rough patch this year.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 21:05Speaker 3: No, I mean no, before you judge, listen, I mean
- 21:09Speaker 3: his father left. It's just the two of us. We're
- 21:12Speaker 3: trying to make ends of me. We're counting dollars to
- 21:15Speaker 3: see how much money I can put in the gas
- 21:18Speaker 3: on to get to work and still have something to
- 21:21Speaker 3: eat ram and noodles every other night.
- 21:24Speaker 4: I'm not judging, and I'm sorry that you're in that position.
- 21:27Speaker 4: I just didn't expect it, that's all I'm saying. That's
- 21:29Speaker 4: why my reaction was like, what the because you're basically
- 21:33Speaker 4: having your kid go out there sell candy to make
- 21:36Speaker 4: profit for you and saying it's for his band trip,
- 21:39Speaker 4: Like how much is he? I know?
- 21:41Speaker 3: I mean it's not a lot. I mean it's like
- 21:43Speaker 3: a couple hundred bucks a week on a good week,
- 21:46Speaker 3: on good week. But you know what right now, that's
- 21:49Speaker 3: groceries and electricity. Yeah, and that's that's how we're getting by.
- 21:54Speaker 3: And wow, I mean, I just keep saying it's not permanent.
- 21:58Speaker 3: We're not doing this forever. It feels horrible, but I'm.
- 22:03Speaker 4: Never going to look at these kids outside of the
- 22:05Speaker 4: stores selling candy the same.
- 22:07Speaker 1: These kids being tom Thumb all the time, and be like,
- 22:09Speaker 1: where are your mamma? I gave one to twenty the
- 22:11Speaker 1: other day because he was for his basketball team. He
- 22:14Speaker 1: didn't need, probably don't even play basketball.
- 22:17Speaker 3: But he's eaten that night, isn't he.
- 22:19Speaker 4: That's exactly right. That's why I'm like, Hey, whatever you
- 22:21Speaker 4: want to do with the money, I don't know, So
- 22:23Speaker 4: I'm not judging you. This is a non judgment zone
- 22:25Speaker 4: and I'm sorry that you, you know, hit some tough times.
- 22:28Speaker 4: But but you see, my dealer, how old did you say.
- 22:30Speaker 1: Your son was?
- 22:31Speaker 3: Again, he's eleven, so he's old enough to know, okay that.
- 22:38Speaker 1: And he just goes along with it.
- 22:41Speaker 3: Well, he understands, he understands. You know it was there
- 22:44Speaker 3: was a nice one that we didn't have anything to
- 22:45Speaker 3: eat right until we started doing this and dinner.
- 22:50Speaker 1: Yeah, that does. That's heartbreaking, it really is.
- 22:53Speaker 2: He can't enjoy this or I'm sure.
- 22:56Speaker 1: He doesn't love doing it. And he's a kid.
- 22:57Speaker 4: He wants to go out and play, doesn't want to
- 22:59Speaker 4: stand in time or door to door selling candy. You
- 23:03Speaker 4: know what.
- 23:04Speaker 3: He'll come home and he'll hand me the money and
- 23:06Speaker 3: he'll say, we get it, mom, we get okay.
- 23:09Speaker 4: Today it's so awful.
- 23:15Speaker 3: I'm just putting in this position, but I don't know
- 23:18Speaker 3: what else to do. I'm under employed. I can't get
- 23:23Speaker 3: well fare because I have a job. But I can't
- 23:25Speaker 3: quit my job just to go on well fair.
- 23:27Speaker 4: It doesn't make any sense.
- 23:29Speaker 1: No, I understand, No, I get it.
- 23:31Speaker 4: And you're you're your sweet boy, and I'm gonna tell
- 23:35Speaker 4: you right now, this is something I would have done
- 23:36Speaker 4: for my mom.
- 23:37Speaker 1: I would have done it in a hearty absolutely, you
- 23:39Speaker 1: know I would have done it. And what a good kid,
- 23:41Speaker 1: because you just do what you gotta do.
- 23:43Speaker 4: And he's at that age where, listen, I'm gonna see
- 23:46Speaker 4: if there's any way i can find you some gift
- 23:48Speaker 4: cards to some poo. I'm sure we have something get
- 23:52Speaker 4: you some even if I got to give it by it,
- 23:55Speaker 4: We'll find a way to get you some some gift cards.
- 23:58Speaker 4: So maybe there's a at least a meals and stuff
- 24:01Speaker 4: that you can have that he doesn't have to, you know,
- 24:04Speaker 4: because I feel incredibly bad for you, whether it's morally
- 24:07Speaker 4: correct what you're doing or not. I mean, you gotta
- 24:09Speaker 4: do what you gotta do to survive. And I can't
- 24:12Speaker 4: say what I would do if I was in your position,
- 24:14Speaker 4: So I'm not going to sit here and judge you.
- 24:15Speaker 3: Well, I would like to think, on like the bright side,
- 24:20Speaker 3: that I'm teaching him how to survive on the very
- 24:24Speaker 3: bottom end of life.
- 24:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:27Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, listen, there's lessons to be learned and everything,
- 24:30Speaker 4: and I'm sure he's, you know, he is going to
- 24:32Speaker 4: take something from this and he I'm sure he will
- 24:36Speaker 4: absolutely understand things as you get older and reflect upon
- 24:39Speaker 4: it and go, wow, my mom was doing everything she
- 24:41Speaker 4: could and I did everything I could so we could survive.
- 24:43Speaker 4: And that's not necessarily a bad mentality to have. So hey,
- 24:48Speaker 4: but stay right there, so we could try to take
- 24:50Speaker 4: care of you and get you a couple of things.
- 24:52Speaker 4: So maybe you, I don't know, just to help out
- 24:53Speaker 4: a little bit, Okay, I.
- 24:55Speaker 3: Really appreciate it. That's not why I called. But that's
- 24:57Speaker 3: so nice to you.
- 24:58Speaker 4: Okay, hold on, hold on, Sam, And I'm gonna get
- 25:01Speaker 4: complaints on this, of course, Hey, don't reward this bad behavior,
- 25:05Speaker 4: and I'm not saying.
- 25:06Speaker 1: It's right to do.
- 25:07Speaker 2: Well, maybe if we can help her out, this can stop.
- 25:10Speaker 4: Just think of, you know, the eleven year old kid
- 25:12Speaker 4: sitting out there. It's a man a lot that breaks
- 25:17Speaker 4: my heart. And I'm kind of putting everything together because
- 25:20Speaker 4: it's been a hectic couple days, Candice, because it's just weird.
- 25:24Speaker 1: We don't have a normal job when it comes to
- 25:26Speaker 1: stuff like this.
- 25:27Speaker 4: And somebody hung banners all over the place it said
- 25:31Speaker 4: canceled Billy the Kid in the Morning on Mixed one
- 25:33Speaker 4: on two point nine, and I thought it was a
- 25:35Speaker 4: joke at first. Honestly, I thought it was Pooh to
- 25:37Speaker 4: an Ai or something, and I'm like, oh, that was
- 25:40Speaker 4: a good prank, thinking it's not real. That I find
- 25:43Speaker 4: out it's real, and then the DM start flooding in
- 25:45Speaker 4: the texts and messages, and the day before it happened,
- 25:49Speaker 4: like when it happened that night before we got on
- 25:51Speaker 4: the air, I was like, I was at a weird
- 25:53Speaker 4: low and I'll be real because that's the one thing
- 25:55Speaker 4: I think we kinda we kind of do on the
- 25:57Speaker 4: show is keep it just transparent.
- 26:01Speaker 1: And I felt like, really strange. I felt like, this
- 26:03Speaker 1: is just this enough, Like I've been doing this for years.
- 26:06Speaker 1: This is stupid.
- 26:07Speaker 4: I don't want to deal with this kind of drama
- 26:08Speaker 4: at this point. I don't want to deal with it.
- 26:10Speaker 4: It's happened before. Weird things have happened, but this is
- 26:13Speaker 4: a lot. And I was kind of down. And then
- 26:15Speaker 4: I come in the next morning, we talk about it,
- 26:17Speaker 4: and I get so many we got so many messages
- 26:21Speaker 4: that were just so loving and a positive that it
- 26:25Speaker 4: changed my whole day. And then yesterday I get home
- 26:29Speaker 4: and it kind of like you slow down and you
- 26:31Speaker 4: start to think about things again, and then I go
- 26:33Speaker 4: low again. And I think people do this, you know,
- 26:36Speaker 4: it's like it's normal things that you know, you go
- 26:39Speaker 4: up and you down. And one thing I try to
- 26:41Speaker 4: make clear on the air yesterday is when we're guessing
- 26:44Speaker 4: on who it may be, and maybe it's the girl
- 26:45Speaker 4: who sent me TIFFs treats. Maybe it's a girl, the
- 26:47Speaker 4: south Lake Fountain girl. One thing I said it was like,
- 26:50Speaker 4: I don't think because people started dming me and making
- 26:53Speaker 4: comments maybe it was an ex. And I will say,
- 26:56Speaker 4: like my most recent ex, I know, And I said.
- 26:58Speaker 2: He, I know, that doesn't make any sense.
- 27:01Speaker 1: I know it, I know it.
- 27:03Speaker 4: But of course somehow Someway gets back to her, no
- 27:07Speaker 4: that you know it might be her, and I said, no,
- 27:12Speaker 4: it's not.
- 27:13Speaker 1: I don't think that.
- 27:14Speaker 2: That never even crossed my mind me either, and I don't.
- 27:17Speaker 4: But I think it was like, you know, sometimes we'll
- 27:19Speaker 4: do promos for the show and they run throughout the
- 27:22Speaker 4: day and I'm just being real and opening the curtain
- 27:25Speaker 4: and you could see behind the scenes. And as a
- 27:27Speaker 4: joke in one of the promos, I said, I hope
- 27:29Speaker 4: it's not an ex kidding around, because you know, we
- 27:32Speaker 4: just we talk about what we're going to do the
- 27:34Speaker 4: next day on the show, and I don't know if
- 27:36Speaker 4: like that got misconstrued and somebody passed it down to her,
- 27:39Speaker 4: like I think, you know, you know, it's like you're
- 27:40Speaker 4: playing a game of telephone tag and all of a
- 27:43Speaker 4: sudden it's like, oh, he said it was you. I
- 27:44Speaker 4: don't think that, but I had to deal with that
- 27:46Speaker 4: yesterday and that's not even They didn't even crossed my mind.
- 27:52Speaker 1: I know that's not the case.
- 27:53Speaker 4: So then we're talking to our boss Zan and here's
- 27:56Speaker 4: where the update comes in, and she said, you know what,
- 27:59Speaker 4: I did get a weird message and kind of a
- 28:02Speaker 4: strange complaint. And I'm like, really, well, it's not rare
- 28:06Speaker 4: to get a complaint about something we say or do,
- 28:07Speaker 4: and that happens no matter just who you are. And
- 28:11Speaker 4: I'm like, well why, And then she forwards it to
- 28:13Speaker 4: me and it all starts to make sense. Can I
- 28:16Speaker 4: read you this message? Yeah? Yeah, I'm gonna read you
- 28:20Speaker 4: this email because I definitely think it's the same person
- 28:24Speaker 4: she wrote it to our boss. So it says to
- 28:26Speaker 4: the program director, which Xanda's afternoon's here, and she's also
- 28:29Speaker 4: the program director.
- 28:31Speaker 1: I do not write this email lightly.
- 28:33Speaker 4: I write it with righteous anger, and conviction that what
- 28:38Speaker 4: is happening on your morning show is a is an abomination.
- 28:43Speaker 1: Before the Lord.
- 28:44Speaker 2: What WHOA Are you serious?
- 28:48Speaker 1: The segment called Dirty Little Secret is not entertainment is
- 28:55Speaker 1: it is sin.
- 28:57Speaker 4: It invites darkness into the airwave and rewards it with laughter, applause,
- 29:02Speaker 4: and profit. Billy openly encourages people to confess a moral behavior,
- 29:08Speaker 4: not for repentance or healing, but to be paraded and
- 29:13Speaker 4: consumed by listeners like the gossip hungry vulture.
- 29:16Speaker 2: He is whoa.
- 29:18Speaker 4: Oh no, this is a spiritual exploitation and will not
- 29:23Speaker 4: go unanswered by God.
- 29:25Speaker 5: Oh wow.
- 29:26Speaker 4: Billy has been doing this for far too long as
- 29:30Speaker 4: a woman of faith. I'm sickened by your radio station. Ah.
- 29:34Speaker 4: This show plans seeds of corruption in the minds of
- 29:37Speaker 4: listeners and pretends it's fun. Billy thinks he's untouchable behind
- 29:42Speaker 4: a microphone, but influence is a serious thing in the
- 29:45Speaker 4: eyes of the Lord. His show needs to be canceled immediately,
- 29:49Speaker 4: and I won't stop until it is. You should be
- 29:52Speaker 4: ashamed to allow this on the air. People will hear
- 29:55Speaker 4: it and find it and think that sin is amusing
- 29:59Speaker 4: and shame is content and confession is a punchline and
- 30:02Speaker 4: it's not. I pray that you have a conscience and
- 30:06Speaker 4: remove the show asap. Remember that ratings will not matter
- 30:11Speaker 4: when every word spoken is accounted for and you will pay.
- 30:15Speaker 4: The Lord is watching. There is no doubt to me
- 30:21Speaker 4: that this is the same person. I see the email
- 30:25Speaker 4: address and I type it into my email just to
- 30:29Speaker 4: see if maybe I missed an email or something came up.
- 30:32Speaker 4: Emails came up from years ago that I had. And
- 30:37Speaker 4: this is someone who has also done things before when
- 30:40Speaker 4: I was on another radio station, when I was on
- 30:44Speaker 4: Kiss for years. Matter of fact, she sent me a
- 30:46Speaker 4: bunch of Bibles to the radio station. One time, she
- 30:49Speaker 4: wrote notes, she dropped off letters. Security had to have
- 30:52Speaker 4: her removed one time. If it's the same person, and
- 30:55Speaker 4: I know it is, I just I know it is,
- 30:59Speaker 4: and I just know it so and this became a problem,
- 31:03Speaker 4: and I think.
- 31:04Speaker 1: Candace, you remember, and producer Poo remembers that.
- 31:06Speaker 4: Back in the day, for a while, security was so
- 31:09Speaker 4: ramped up around here because it got very weird where
- 31:13Speaker 4: she was lingering around in the parking lots. And I'm
- 31:15Speaker 4: not nervous and I'm not scared. It just makes me
- 31:18Speaker 4: feel uncomfortable.
- 31:19Speaker 2: Well, yeah, it makes me feel uncomfortable, and.
- 31:21Speaker 4: It makes me feel uncomfortable for you and for you know,
- 31:25Speaker 4: our families, and it's just it's just kind of weird.
- 31:28Speaker 4: And first of all, dirty little secrets. Dirty little secret
- 31:32Speaker 4: is something that we do voluntarily.
- 31:34Speaker 2: Mm hmm.
- 31:35Speaker 4: I don't tell you what to say. You call up,
- 31:37Speaker 4: you don't have to share anything you don't want to share.
- 31:41Speaker 4: It's totally not something that I'm just doing and trying
- 31:45Speaker 4: to exploit people on. No, this is something people call
- 31:48Speaker 4: in and they want to do. And if that's not
- 31:51Speaker 4: your thing, it's okay, I understand.
- 31:53Speaker 1: I know.
- 31:54Speaker 4: Not everybody's going to listen to the show. It's something
- 31:56Speaker 4: that we like and it's it's been a staple of.
- 31:59Speaker 2: Our Oh yeah, and a lot of these secrets are fun,
- 32:02Speaker 2: like we laugh. We have to laugh at ourselves at
- 32:05Speaker 2: the silly things we did when we were kids, or
- 32:07Speaker 2: dumb things we did, you know.
- 32:08Speaker 4: To our parents, or yeah, it's not meant to be
- 32:11Speaker 4: so serious, and sometimes it is. Yeah, like matter of fact,
- 32:15Speaker 4: the coincidence happened today's was serious. Yeah, it was a
- 32:18Speaker 4: woman cried and I felt bad, and we actually gave
- 32:20Speaker 4: her some stuff and helped her out right, But it's
- 32:23Speaker 4: not meant to exploit anybody.
- 32:25Speaker 1: This show is not like that. We're not like that.
- 32:28Speaker 1: I don't want to make anybody a punchline.
- 32:30Speaker 2: But everyone's anonymous who wants to do this. That's the thing.
- 32:34Speaker 2: You want to do this. You want to come on
- 32:36Speaker 2: the show and join us.
- 32:37Speaker 4: Exactly, And if you're listening, you're like part of our
- 32:39Speaker 4: family and your friends, even if we haven't met you yet.
- 32:41Speaker 4: So I wasn't going to talk about it anymore because
- 32:44Speaker 4: I hate that it almost fuels her. I feel like,
- 32:47Speaker 4: oh yeah, And I wrote her back, you did. I did,
- 32:51Speaker 4: and I wasn't mean, I wasn't rude. I said, I
- 32:53Speaker 4: just want to know if you're the person hanging the banners.
- 32:55Speaker 4: If that's the case, I would invite you to talk
- 32:58Speaker 4: about it on the show. You can call me anytime
- 33:01Speaker 4: you want, and I will put you on the air
- 33:02Speaker 4: live unedited if you think I'm going to edit you.
- 33:05Speaker 4: Because that was one of her emails before years ago.
- 33:08Speaker 4: Is she said I put her on and I edited
- 33:09Speaker 4: it all up, but I didn't. Yeah, And I said
- 33:11Speaker 4: I will have you on, and I would love to
- 33:14Speaker 4: have you on if you want to go on today,
- 33:16Speaker 4: meaning now, Thursday, tomorrow, whenever you let me know, and
- 33:19Speaker 4: we could talk about it and whatever. You could say,
- 33:22Speaker 4: whatever you want, because I do respect people's opinions for sure,
- 33:26Speaker 4: and I'm a religious man.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Yeah I'm not.
- 33:28Speaker 4: I don't I believe, so I'm not trying to sit
- 33:31Speaker 4: here and make someone mad who's involved in the church.
- 33:35Speaker 4: So either way, I wasn't going to talk about it,
- 33:37Speaker 4: but I felt like I had to because it's only
- 33:38Speaker 4: fair to give you an update once we talk about it.
- 33:40Speaker 4: It's part of your world too, you know what I mean.
- 33:43Speaker 4: So an interesting situation wow going on and that's intense.
- 33:50Speaker 4: It is because it makes me feel very uncomfortable that
- 33:54Speaker 4: she thinks we're so evil that we're trying to exploit
- 33:58Speaker 4: people for the benefit of ratings and listeners.
- 34:03Speaker 1: That's not the case.
- 34:05Speaker 4: We've done very well, thankfully in the past year, thankfully
- 34:09Speaker 4: to you and people who listen.
- 34:11Speaker 1: We wouldn't have to do.
- 34:12Speaker 2: Stuff like that if we you know what I mean, Yeah, no, exactly.
- 34:15Speaker 4: And do you think I would do this for twenty
- 34:17Speaker 4: five years in this city and make it this long
- 34:19Speaker 4: Because I've exploited people, That's not who I'm about.
- 34:22Speaker 1: And if you know me.
- 34:23Speaker 4: You know that's not the case. So I'm pretty sure
- 34:25Speaker 4: it's the same person. If she writes me back, I
- 34:27Speaker 4: will let you know. If she calls in, I'll put
- 34:29Speaker 4: her on the air immediately, I really will. And if
- 34:30Speaker 4: you're listening right now, which I know she is, call up.
- 34:33Speaker 4: I'm not gonna attack you. No, we're gonna not. We're
- 34:36Speaker 4: gonna speak kindly to you with an open mind. So
- 34:41Speaker 4: let us know if you do. All right, he's doing
- 34:46Speaker 4: for Candice Court, it gets settled here with Billy the
- 34:50Speaker 4: Kid in the morning. Candas Court always makes me happy.
- 34:52Speaker 4: All rise for the Honimble Judge, Candae slow Pez. It's
- 34:55Speaker 4: Mikes one or two point nine a Billy a kid,
- 34:56Speaker 4: candaslow Pez producer.
- 34:58Speaker 1: Pooh, and here we go.
- 34:59Speaker 4: If you got a problem at Cannas on Air, at
- 35:01Speaker 4: Canvas on Air, and we'll exploit you. We'll exploit your problem. Okay,
- 35:06Speaker 4: we'll do it now. If no, of course not, I
- 35:09Speaker 4: mean yeah, yeah, only if you want. It's voluntary, of course,
- 35:11Speaker 4: But we get this message. Last weekend, my wife and
- 35:14Speaker 4: I got back from a week long trip. After around
- 35:17Speaker 4: eighteen hours of non stop driving, I took what I
- 35:21Speaker 4: thought was a serious nap, but she slept on and off.
- 35:24Speaker 4: When I woke up, however, I found myself the target
- 35:27Speaker 4: of a serious social media mocking because she quote unpacked,
- 35:32Speaker 4: did all the laundry, cleaned up the car while I
- 35:36Speaker 4: just slept from there. All her friends commended her on
- 35:40Speaker 4: holding the house together while I slacked off and let
- 35:43Speaker 4: it all fall on her. I don't know why this
- 35:46Speaker 4: aggravates me so much, but it really does. And I
- 35:49Speaker 4: feel like I should get her a participation trophy for
- 35:52Speaker 4: taking on chores that could have waited until she got
- 35:55Speaker 4: some rest too. But I know I don't like seeing
- 35:59Speaker 4: her put herself on a pedestal to be adored by
- 36:01Speaker 4: our followers while I'm being made out to be a
- 36:04Speaker 4: lazy husband. Is this something even worth bringing up? Or
- 36:07Speaker 4: do I just let it go? I like this because
- 36:11Speaker 4: I feel like sometimes the relationships the other person will
- 36:15Speaker 4: kind of set you up to fail. Here, like, there's
- 36:17Speaker 4: two types of personalities, if you ask me, there's the
- 36:20Speaker 4: person that unpacks as soon as they get home, and
- 36:22Speaker 4: then there's normal people.
- 36:24Speaker 2: Exactly one hundred percent. If I'm actually a normal person,
- 36:27Speaker 2: no way, one hundred percent.
- 36:29Speaker 1: I don't believe it. Why don't you believe that you
- 36:31Speaker 1: are an unpacker.
- 36:32Speaker 2: Not at all.
- 36:33Speaker 1: You're an immediate unpacker.
- 36:34Speaker 4: Oh, I'm not every close to an immediate I'll call Eric,
- 36:38Speaker 4: your husband right now.
- 36:39Speaker 2: I'll tell you one hundred percent. My luggage will sit
- 36:41Speaker 2: there and sit there and sit there, and I'll be
- 36:44Speaker 2: looking for stuff. Last time we went on a trap
- 36:45Speaker 2: what was it the Disney cruise. Yeah, we went in
- 36:47Speaker 2: November or whatever. I couldn't find this pair of jeans
- 36:51Speaker 2: for weeks. Oh weeks, couldn't find them.
- 36:54Speaker 1: That shocks me.
- 36:55Speaker 2: Where do you think they were still in my suitcase?
- 37:00Speaker 3: Not?
- 37:00Speaker 4: And I'm not an immediate unpacker. It's gonna sit there
- 37:03Speaker 4: on my bathroom floor for a while. Yeah, Yeah, it's
- 37:07Speaker 4: just there's it's just to me, it's gonna be it's
- 37:09Speaker 4: gonna be a while before I get to it, because
- 37:11Speaker 4: they're clean.
- 37:12Speaker 1: They're just sitting there. It's like a third It's like
- 37:13Speaker 1: another dresser for me at that point.
- 37:15Speaker 2: Yeah, it's storage. It's fine. It's gonna get inside the luggage,
- 37:18Speaker 2: so it's not like it's just spread out all over chair.
- 37:21Speaker 1: It feels organized, messy, no sense, Just put it up
- 37:24Speaker 1: so you don't have to deal with it. Later.
- 37:26Speaker 4: This is where Pooh is surprisingly adamant at doing weird things,
- 37:30Speaker 4: like he's so lazy when it comes to some things
- 37:33Speaker 4: and other things he's very particular on and he he's
- 37:36Speaker 4: an immediate unpacker.
- 37:37Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the only thing. Wash hang up the clean
- 37:42Speaker 1: ones that they're still clean.
- 37:43Speaker 4: I will take the dirty laundry that I have neatly
- 37:46Speaker 4: in a bag for my you know, laundry or whatever
- 37:49Speaker 4: that's dirty, and I'll take that and I'll put it
- 37:51Speaker 4: in the laundry room.
- 37:52Speaker 1: But everything clean stays in the suitcase a couple of days.
- 37:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I always grabbed the laundry bag from the hotel room,
- 37:56Speaker 2: put my dirties in there, and then yeah, it's easy
- 37:58Speaker 2: to get him out and zip that thing right back up.
- 38:00Speaker 2: Is going right in the corner again.
- 38:03Speaker 1: Marinate, No, I do.
- 38:05Speaker 2: But I value rest over everything. So after a trip
- 38:08Speaker 2: like that, I'm like, I gotta lay down. I got
- 38:10Speaker 2: to regroup, and I'll just get to it when I
- 38:12Speaker 2: get to it.
- 38:12Speaker 1: That's my point.
- 38:13Speaker 4: He shouldn't be punished because he wanted to nap for
- 38:15Speaker 4: a little while before he got up and did stuff. Yeah,
- 38:18Speaker 4: and then she puts on social media that you know,
- 38:22Speaker 4: I'd love to hear her side and story. Yeah, no,
- 38:24Speaker 4: I would too, but the bottom line is we don't
- 38:26Speaker 4: have that. So from his standpoint, he's like, I'm sitting
- 38:28Speaker 4: here taking a little nap. I just drove eighteen hours
- 38:30Speaker 4: to get the family home safely, and all of a sudden, Yeah,
- 38:32Speaker 4: she's up because she can't sleep. She's doing everything, and
- 38:35Speaker 4: I'm the worst husband ever.
- 38:36Speaker 2: Why is he taking it so serious?
- 38:38Speaker 4: Tho?
- 38:38Speaker 2: If it's just like a social media thing, you know,
- 38:40Speaker 2: does she have a lot of followers? I know, he
- 38:42Speaker 2: said to what her friends are commenting or commenting her on.
- 38:45Speaker 4: Yeah, go get girls, super mom, supermom mo, you go
- 38:50Speaker 4: girl telling him to do something up.
- 38:54Speaker 5: Yeah, but if he would have cut his nap in
- 38:56Speaker 5: half and just helped her real quick, he wouldn't have
- 38:58Speaker 5: had nothing to worry about it.
- 39:00Speaker 2: But he could rest up and then he could be
- 39:01Speaker 2: super dad.
- 39:02Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, just let him get his rest and
- 39:04Speaker 4: worry about the rest later. I have a feeling this
- 39:06Speaker 4: probably happens a lot, and it's a theme. And then
- 39:08Speaker 4: once you start to get agitated about something, what do
- 39:10Speaker 4: you do when it happens?
- 39:12Speaker 1: You exploit it? Exploit it?
- 39:16Speaker 4: Yes, So then she's like, Oh, he's going to sleep
- 39:19Speaker 4: while I sit here and I have to the kids
- 39:20Speaker 4: ready and I have to unpack, and okay, cool, I'm
- 39:22Speaker 4: going to take a picture him sleep and and post it.
- 39:24Speaker 1: Yeah. I wonder if she did that, that'd be that's
- 39:26Speaker 1: a that's a lot.
- 39:27Speaker 2: Too much him sleepy.
- 39:29Speaker 1: Maybe she didn't do that.
- 39:31Speaker 2: Yeah, we all need a break.
- 39:32Speaker 4: She still kind of passive aggressively shamed him. So it's
- 39:36Speaker 4: on social media, which I don't think is necessarily right.
- 39:39Speaker 4: But it doesn't matter because it's not my court. It's
- 39:41Speaker 4: not Pooh's court. It's Candice court, and you are the judge.
- 39:44Speaker 1: With a verdict.
- 39:45Speaker 2: Yeah, because I would also rest when we got home
- 39:47Speaker 2: from a trip. This girl is guilty of being an
- 39:50Speaker 2: unpacking patty, just exploiting her husband all over socia. He's
- 39:56Speaker 2: trying to wrest up if he drove eighteen hours, you know,
- 39:59Speaker 2: while she kind of now on and off Like I mean,
- 40:01Speaker 2: when we're on trips like that, Eric drives and I
- 40:03Speaker 2: nap on it.
- 40:04Speaker 1: Off you do. Yeah, he loves to drive, though he does.
- 40:07Speaker 2: Okay, he also wants to unpack, which is good, does
- 40:11Speaker 2: he really?
- 40:12Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 40:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I need to find me an error. I keep
- 40:14Speaker 1: saying I need a good man in my life. I'm here,
- 40:17Speaker 1: I need a good kid, I said, who just saying.
- 40:24Speaker 2: Just got your back?
- 40:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I got your back and a friendly exploit. Okay,
- 40:30Speaker 1: I'm gonna go throw up. Now, let us know what
- 40:33Speaker 1: you think.
- 40:33Speaker 2: Here's today's hot.
- 40:34Speaker 4: Take mix one or two point nine if you like
- 40:36Speaker 4: a kid, Candicelopez, producer Pooh Hot Take of the Day.
- 40:39Speaker 4: This is not even one of those hot takes where
- 40:41Speaker 4: you're like, well, let's see what you think about this.
- 40:43Speaker 4: You could go both ways. Okay, not to me at
- 40:45Speaker 4: least because it's insanity. But you know what, Crazier things happen.
- 40:50Speaker 4: This girl goes viral and when I see this, I'm like,
- 40:52Speaker 4: there is no way. So her husband gets the neighbor pregnant.
- 40:57Speaker 4: Never a good situation. No, right, you don't want that.
- 41:00Speaker 4: Nobody gets excited for that, right though, she gets online
- 41:05Speaker 4: and listen to this.
- 41:06Speaker 3: My husband got our neighbor pregnant, and I am going
- 41:10Speaker 3: to let her move in to our house and We're
- 41:12Speaker 3: going to set up the basement so she has a
- 41:14Speaker 3: place to live and we can all raise.
- 41:16Speaker 2: The baby together.
- 41:17Speaker 1: Okay, I mean, do I need to say what crazy world?
- 41:22Speaker 3: Am?
- 41:22Speaker 4: I living in right where you get the neighbor pregnant,
- 41:25Speaker 4: and now that woman is going to move in with y'all,
- 41:29Speaker 4: and y'all are going to raise a baby.
- 41:30Speaker 2: Yeah, in the basement, in the basement, because why not,
- 41:33Speaker 2: you know what I mean.
- 41:34Speaker 1: Oh, And then she goes over and does like an
- 41:35Speaker 1: MTV cribs.
- 41:36Speaker 2: No, so this is the space. She's got a couch,
- 41:40Speaker 2: there's two beds. Well, we're gonna get pillows and blankets
- 41:43Speaker 2: and stuff for her, and then I just have to clean.
- 41:45Speaker 1: Up all that, and this is where the magic happens.
- 41:48Speaker 3: Wow.
- 41:49Speaker 2: But then she's also got her very own bathroom. She's
- 41:53Speaker 2: going to have her own space. So I'm definitely opening
- 41:57Speaker 2: my heart to this. My mom said she's going to
- 41:59Speaker 2: help to And I think this may just be a
- 42:01Speaker 2: really good blessing for the new year, a.
- 42:04Speaker 1: Really good blessing for the new What it's.
- 42:09Speaker 5: That's the white people's stuff right there, and your mom
- 42:15Speaker 5: is not gonna happen.
- 42:16Speaker 1: That couldn't.
- 42:18Speaker 4: Know.
- 42:19Speaker 1: Just when I thought my life was crazy, this makes
- 42:23Speaker 1: me feel so much better.
- 42:25Speaker 2: Be the side baby Mama in the basement.
- 42:27Speaker 4: The side piece, baby Mama in the basement, The side
- 42:31Speaker 4: piece basement.
- 42:32Speaker 1: Baby mama, what is happening?
- 42:35Speaker 4: That's a lot, you know, But I gotta be honest,
- 42:39Speaker 4: it's not as crazy as you think it is. No,
- 42:41Speaker 4: it's crazy to me, and it's crazy that it happens.
- 42:44Speaker 4: But then I'm like, there's no way this is real.
- 42:45Speaker 4: But it is because guess what we've heard of stuff
- 42:47Speaker 4: like this happening before.
- 42:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 42:49Speaker 4: Better of fact, I know somebody who he was cheated
- 42:52Speaker 4: on by his wife, she got pregnant by another man,
- 42:55Speaker 4: and then he helped raise the baby.
- 42:57Speaker 1: Oh not me.
- 42:59Speaker 2: Like, wow, that takes a special, special person.
- 43:02Speaker 1: Special, Yeah is the keyword.
- 43:04Speaker 2: I was looking in the comments and and someone said
- 43:07Speaker 2: a three income household sounds nice. And then this other
- 43:12Speaker 2: guy was like, my boy, then hit the jackpot. Oh.
- 43:16Speaker 2: Other people are like, I'm so embarrassed for you, and
- 43:19Speaker 2: it's good for society. This is how the world worked
- 43:21Speaker 2: before eighteen fifty.
- 43:24Speaker 4: In the dungeon what Yeah, it was side pieces. Yeah,
- 43:28Speaker 4: and eighteen fifty poo was there. Okay, he was around, right,
- 43:33Speaker 4: what are you doing? No, you're not serious.
- 43:35Speaker 2: There's no way. There's absolutely no way. You've got our couch,
- 43:38Speaker 2: two beds, her own bathroom.
- 43:40Speaker 4: But we laugh about this, But how many times have
- 43:42Speaker 4: we said, oh, you know what, like this is crazy
- 43:44Speaker 4: and then people call up and go, oh, well no
- 43:46Speaker 4: because I know somebody, or I'm living with my ex
- 43:49Speaker 4: and my new boyfriend.
- 43:51Speaker 1: I mean, we've had that call.
- 43:52Speaker 2: Yeah, well people look at the bigger picture.
- 43:55Speaker 1: What is the bigger picture?
- 43:56Speaker 2: Well, I mean, in the grand scheme of things, the
- 43:58Speaker 2: baby is probably going to be better, are taken care of,
- 44:01Speaker 2: and if it's loved this way, Are you being serious?
- 44:03Speaker 2: Are you being well halfway?
- 44:05Speaker 4: Okay, I was about to say, I'm gonna lock you
- 44:07Speaker 4: up in the loony Bineay. We've had people call and say, yeah,
- 44:13Speaker 4: I live with my ex and my new boyfriend. Yeah,
- 44:17Speaker 4: or I live and that's that's the weirdest part. Remember
- 44:20Speaker 4: one person called up and they said, oh, yeah, I
- 44:21Speaker 4: live with my ex and my new boyfriend.
- 44:24Speaker 1: As matter of fact, they like watch football together and
- 44:26Speaker 1: hang out.
- 44:27Speaker 2: That's so weird. Do we take vacations as a family
- 44:30Speaker 2: even though we're you know, in separate households. Remember we
- 44:32Speaker 2: had that person. We still take vacations my you know,
- 44:35Speaker 2: ex and I.
- 44:36Speaker 4: She said, yeah, well yeah with the kids, with the kids,
- 44:38Speaker 4: with all the kids together in the hotel room. Yeah,
- 44:43Speaker 4: maybe I'm just not a big enough person. Maybe I'm
- 44:46Speaker 4: just not as open minded. Maybe that's my fault, but
- 44:48Speaker 4: I could not go anywhere with my girlfriend, wife, whatever's
- 44:56Speaker 4: new boyfriend.
- 44:57Speaker 1: No ex.
- 44:59Speaker 4: I don't even want to hang out with exes like that.
- 45:02Speaker 4: And I do get it when you do stuff for
- 45:04Speaker 4: the kids. That's a little bit different. But I love
- 45:06Speaker 4: my son. I'm still not going to go on vacation
- 45:08Speaker 4: with my ex. No, it's just not we're all going
- 45:11Speaker 4: to go out together. Although I did coach baseball with
- 45:14Speaker 4: her new husband. One of you, yea, when you told me,
- 45:19Speaker 4: that didn't seem that weird to me.
- 45:22Speaker 2: It's a little less personal, like you're outside, I don't know,
- 45:25Speaker 2: you're all together raising the baby or very different. Do
- 45:32Speaker 2: it outside, which probably feels good for me.
- 45:35Speaker 1: We're getting fresh air, you got a baseball. It's an American.
- 45:39Speaker 4: Tradition, totally so cookie cutter. No, it was actually not
- 45:42Speaker 4: as awkward as I thought it was going to be good.
- 45:44Speaker 4: You know, every once in a while, I was like,
- 45:46Speaker 4: this is kind of weird, and then when I would
- 45:47Speaker 4: tell other people, they'd be like, oh really, I'm like, yeah,
- 45:50Speaker 4: this is our it's another coach and he's also my
- 45:53Speaker 4: ex wife's new husband.
- 45:54Speaker 1: And I'm like, okay, I know.
- 45:56Speaker 5: When you first mentioned it to me, I was like,
- 45:58Speaker 5: for real, yeah yeah, and it was good for your son,
- 46:01Speaker 5: it was.
- 46:02Speaker 1: And the team yeah, we had a great team.
- 46:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 46:05Speaker 1: Teamwork makes a dream work. Yeah, in this case, in
- 46:07Speaker 1: the basement. Weird
