- 0:00Speaker 1: I am Sherry Mackie, and it's time for us to
- 0:03Speaker 1: go to God in prayer. And as always, I invite
- 0:05Speaker 1: you to join along with me in prayer. You know,
- 0:10Speaker 1: today I am thinking about the people who always carry
- 0:14Speaker 1: everybody else and then they put themselves last. And I
- 0:18Speaker 1: want to pray for you and me today, Heavenly Father.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Today we come before you on behalf of those those
- 0:23Speaker 1: who have spent so much of their lives carrying everyone else.
- 0:27Speaker 1: The caregivers, the providers, the encouragers, the strong ones, the
- 0:32Speaker 1: ones who answer the phone, the ones who show up,
- 0:35Speaker 1: the ones who are there when needed and hold everything
- 0:39Speaker 1: together when others are falling apart. Lord, you see them.
- 0:43Speaker 1: You see the person who's been carrying the weight of
- 0:46Speaker 1: responsibility for family, for friends, for work, for ministry and
- 0:51Speaker 1: countless obligations. You see the one who's always pouring out
- 0:55Speaker 1: but barely stops to refeel. The one who checks on
- 0:59Speaker 1: everybody else while silently struggling themselves. The one who's become
- 1:04Speaker 1: so accustomed to being strong that they no longer know
- 1:08Speaker 1: how to ask for help. Oh Father God, today we
- 1:11Speaker 1: ask that you minister to them, Lord, remind them that
- 1:14Speaker 1: they were never meant to carry the entire world on
- 1:17Speaker 1: their shoulder. That position belongs to you and you alone.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Oh forgive us God for the times we have mistaken
- 1:25Speaker 1: exhaustion for faithfulness and burn out for strength. Teach us
- 1:29Speaker 1: that even Jesus withdrew to rest, to pray, and to
- 1:32Speaker 1: be renewed. Father, released the pressure that we've been carrying,
- 1:37Speaker 1: the pressure to fix everything, the pressure to meet every expectation,
- 1:40Speaker 1: the pressure to rescue everybody else. Help us, God, to
- 1:45Speaker 1: understand that we can love people deeply without carrying burdens
- 1:50Speaker 1: you never assigned to us. Lord, restore our minds. Quiet
- 1:54Speaker 1: the constant thoughts, the endless to do lists, the worries
- 1:58Speaker 1: that follow us from morning until night. Replace anxiety with peace,
- 2:02Speaker 1: O God. Replace overwhelming thoughts with clarity. Replace exhaustion with
- 2:08Speaker 1: your supernatural strength. Oh God, heal The place is where
- 2:13Speaker 1: neglect of self has left wounds. Some have ignored their
- 2:17Speaker 1: own needs, postponed their own healing, delayed their own rest,
- 2:20Speaker 1: and buried their own emotions while caring for others Today,
- 2:24Speaker 1: remind them that they matter to Their health matters, their
- 2:29Speaker 1: peace matters, their joy matters, their relationship with You matters.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Oh God, give them permission to rest without guilt, to
- 2:37Speaker 1: say no when necessary, to set healthy boundaries, to trust
- 2:41Speaker 1: you with what they cannot control. Help them understand that
- 2:45Speaker 1: self care is not selfishness when it allows them to
- 2:49Speaker 1: continue walking in the purpose you've given them. Lord, refresh
- 2:52Speaker 1: their spirits, let them lie down in the green pastors
- 2:55Speaker 1: that you promise, restore their souls. Fill every empty place,
- 2:59Speaker 1: revide their passion, replenish everything that has been depleted through
- 3:05Speaker 1: years of giving and Father, remind them that they do
- 3:10Speaker 1: not have to be everybody else's saved you, because they
- 3:13Speaker 1: already have one. You are the beard and baron. You
- 3:17Speaker 1: are the way maker, You are the provider. You God
- 3:22Speaker 1: are the hero. And today we surrender every weight, We
- 3:26Speaker 1: surrender every responsibility. We surrender every burden into your hands.
- 3:31Speaker 1: We choose to trust you with the things that we
- 3:34Speaker 1: can see, and the things we cannot, and the things
- 3:37Speaker 1: that we can no longer carry. Thank you for seeing us,
- 3:40Speaker 1: thank you for sustaining us, and thank you for restoring us.
- 3:43Speaker 1: In Jesus' name. Amen, Amen,
