- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles.
- 0:04On tonight's episode, we're going to change pace a little
- 0:06bit here and we're going to check in on the
- 0:09Leon Black situation and the move that they're trying to make,
- 0:14meaning Apollo Global into Las Vegas. But before we do that,
- 0:19there is a bit of breaking news and it has
- 0:22to do with Apollo Global and the battle royale that
- 0:26is going on between Josh Harris and Leon Black. Now
- 0:32we know that Leon Black and his legal team were
- 0:36claiming that Miss Kanieva and her legal team we're engaging
- 0:41in a rico criminal conspiracy basically to extort Leon Black. Well,
- 0:49now Leon Black's lawyers they've dropped those charges and they're
- 0:56not pursuing the racketeering allegations against Wigdor anymore. And the
- 1:01attorneys that were representing him a manual at Quinn Emmanuel,
- 1:06they're leaving the case as well. Now Wigdor isn't letting
- 1:10their foot off the gas, though Wigdor is still looking
- 1:13to try and get them sanctioned. So there is a
- 1:17lot going on here and it just leads us right
- 1:20into the article we're going to dig into about Apollo
- 1:24Global and them trying to, you know, make their way
- 1:28back into Las Vegas. We know that they had a
- 1:31bit going on with Caesars for a while, didn't work
- 1:33out so well, and now they're trying to get the sands.
- 1:38So let's take a look at what author Dana Gentry
- 1:43has to say over at the Nevada current as Apollo
- 1:47makes license bid for sans founder alleges conspiracy against co founder.
- 1:55When Apollo Global Management appears before the Nevada Gaming Control
- 1:58Board Wednesday, it's bid the purchase the operations of the
- 2:02Venetian and Palazzo on the Las Vegas Strip. It will
- 2:05do so without Leon Black and Joshua Harris, the top
- 2:09executives who stood before regulators when the company won a
- 2:12license for a leveraged buyout of Caesar's Entertainment in two
- 2:16thousand and eight, and it failed miserably for them. Caesar's
- 2:20has never been the same since Apollo Global swooped in.
- 2:24And the galling part of all of this is they
- 2:27bought it in two thousand and eight during the whole
- 2:30entire debacle. So once again the vultures were at the corpse.
- 2:35And that's exactly what Apollo Global is was and always
- 2:39will be. Look, I get it. That's how you have
- 2:41to conduct yourself in the financial market. That's how you
- 2:45have to conduct yourself if you're going to be the
- 2:47big dog on the block of investment firms. Doesn't mean
- 2:51I have to like it, and in fact I think
- 2:54it's gross. It's just not I don't know. Look, hey,
- 2:58I'm not going to tell anybody else how to make right.
- 3:00But there has to be regulations, there has to be stipulations,
- 3:05and there has to be penalties when you're out of line.
- 3:09And we know that Apollo Global most certainly has been
- 3:12out of line here. Obviously they let Leon Black be
- 3:16the quote unquote fall guy, meaning take most of the heat.
- 3:20But you mean to tell me that people at Apollo
- 3:23Global had no idea. All of these smartest men in
- 3:26the room, all of these too big to fail mfors,
- 3:30had no idea. Huh, Well, maybe they aren't as smart
- 3:34as they wanted us to believe. Then it's one or
- 3:37the other. Black, Apollo Global Management's founder and still its
- 3:44largest shareholder, stepped down last year after thirty years as
- 3:48chairman when news broke that he paid convicted sex offender
- 3:51pedophile Jeffrey Epstein one hundred and sixty five million dollars
- 3:55for financial advice. Now, look, we know that that's a
- 3:59lot of advice. U huh. How much advice does one
- 4:01hundred and fifty eight million buy you a whole bunch?
- 4:05Now it says here one hundred and sixty five million.
- 4:07Perhaps the author of this article has some information. I don't.
- 4:11I thought it was a buck fifty eight. But we're
- 4:13talking about peanuts at that point, right, be it one
- 4:16hundred and sixty five, one hundred and fifty eight million.
- 4:19What are you giving him that kind of money for?
- 4:22I mean financial advice? Really, your head honcho down here
- 4:25at Apollo Global, with all of the big shots working
- 4:28for you, taking their orders from you, doing whatever it
- 4:32is you tell them to do, and you're out here
- 4:35getting money from Jeffrey Epstein, I mean, giving Jeffrey Epstein
- 4:38money for his advice, for his direction in life? What
- 4:43is this the Boys and Girls Club? And you needed
- 4:45a sponsor? I mean, I don't even understand what's going
- 4:48on here. Not if you're if you're following the quote
- 4:53unquote official narrative here and you don't think it's funky,
- 4:58then I don't know what to tell you. But one
- 5:00hundred and sixty five million dollars for advice. I've never
- 5:04heard of anything like that. Black is also under investigation
- 5:08by the Manhattan District Attorney for an alleged sexual assault
- 5:11at Manhattan at Epstein's Manhattan home, according to a news
- 5:14report citing sources. So again we're talking about the Las
- 5:19Vegas Gaming Commission, the Las Vegas Gaming Board. Now, I
- 5:23worked for a sportsbook for six years and we're fall
- 5:29right under the umbrella of being regulated by the Gaming Commission.
- 5:35And they are so ridiculous with some of the regulations
- 5:39that I can't even begin to tell you how annoying
- 5:42it is. One time I was on vacation and I
- 5:47had one of my employees. Some guy hit a horse race, right,
- 5:51and if it's over a certain threshold, you have to
- 5:54collect a w nine, get their license, get them to
- 5:57sign stuff. It's a whole thing for tax purposes. Anyway,
- 6:01the employee didn't get all of the documentation signed, so
- 6:07at night, all of those documents would go into an
- 6:09envelope and then it would be sent to the auditing department,
- 6:13and if the auditing department found something amiss, you would
- 6:17get back a notice saying that hey, look, this is wrong,
- 6:21you miss this whatever, Well, it was such a big
- 6:24deal that this employee missed this signature. Meanwhile, while I'm
- 6:28on vacation, mind you, and I'm getting yelled at from
- 6:31three thousand miles away. It was such a big deal
- 6:34that they wanted to fire this person, and I was
- 6:39very adamant that that was not okay with me, especially
- 6:43considering that our company had been slapped with a thirty
- 6:46million dollar fine for its own missteps. Right, so how
- 6:52about a little equity here. You're going to get rid
- 6:54of this person who has a family job, I mean,
- 6:56needs this job to feed the people that rely on him,
- 6:59and you're going to fire them for obviously a mistake.
- 7:04And we were able to chase the paperwork down and
- 7:07the player actually was somebody who came to the place
- 7:09a lot, so he was gracious enough to sign the paperwork.
- 7:12But they were willing to just fire this dude because
- 7:14the gaming Control board, and they could have fought that. Right. Meanwhile,
- 7:19the gaming control boards over here, la la la la la,
- 7:22hanging out who knows what, down at the Las Vegas
- 7:26National Golf Course, probably getting ready to give Leon Black
- 7:30and Company a gaming license again in Las Vegas. In
- 7:36a lawsuit filed last week, Black alleges Harris, who he
- 7:40once named co founder, is out to destroy him over
- 7:43Black's choice of his successor, Mark Rowan. Now, look, there
- 7:47is some truth to that. Probably. We know how people
- 7:49are human nature in general, right, and you can amplify
- 7:53that to the maximum with people like Josh Josh Harris.
- 7:59This is not a guy who is used to being
- 8:02told no or losing in any capacity. And he gets
- 8:05passed up for this big ass role, you know, he's
- 8:07gonna have some animosity built up, at least you would
- 8:10think so. But to this level where they're alleging that
- 8:13he's in bed with Leon Black's accuser and funding it
- 8:18and it's a whole rico case. I mean, come on,
- 8:21that is just absolutely ridiculous and I'll need to see
- 8:26a lot of evidence to believe something like that. Seeing
- 8:31his long held dream of becoming CEO or co CEO
- 8:34crushed with mister Rowan's ascension, mister Harris kicked into high
- 8:38gears campaign to destroy mister Black. The suit says, like
- 8:43a Shakespeare's story, enraged and being passed over for promotion,
- 8:46he turned his wrath on his mentor and leader. So
- 8:50it's like, you know, they're setting it up like it's
- 8:52some Game of Throne style type stuff, right, some medieval
- 8:56you know, one brother's passed up for the other brother,
- 8:58so the other brother engages in this inter family struggle
- 9:02to gain control of the family unit. They're saying, it's
- 9:06the same thing going on here. Obviously it's a bit
- 9:10of hyperbole, right, And in my opinion, we already know
- 9:15that Leon Black had this relationship with mis Ganieva. We
- 9:19know that they had a physical romantic relationship while Leon
- 9:24Black was married, right, so we already know that they've
- 9:29had that sort of relationship. What would make me believe that,
- 9:33you Josh Harris is going to those lengths to put
- 9:36himself in basically criminal jeopardy to try and set that
- 9:39up all over him being passed up for this position. Now,
- 9:44let's not forget Harris has a gajillion dollars of his own, right,
- 9:49He's not missing any meals over this. Him and his
- 9:52family are still buying seventeen thousand private islands. You know,
- 9:57it's more of a pride thing, and we know with
- 9:59these people that's big deal. But enough to insert yourself
- 10:03in a manner such as this, that's what he would
- 10:06want us to believe. And it's kind of a shrewd
- 10:09strategy in my opinion, kind of look at the right
- 10:12hand while the left hand is over here making moves.
- 10:15But I don't think it's going to work, not in
- 10:17this current climate. Harris, according to the suit, convened the
- 10:23war Council, composed of law firms, public relations agencies, and
- 10:28political consulting firms to work against AGM's interests. He also
- 10:33left the company last year. Look, he's had enough. Right,
- 10:38everything happened, there was way too much animosity, way too
- 10:42many burned bridges for Harris to stay involved. So peace,
- 10:46see you later. Black claims Harris is also behind a
- 10:54conspiracy to retaliate and destroy him by, among other things,
- 10:58weaponizing a woman with whom Black had an affair to
- 11:02assassinate his character and extort even more from him. Look, bro,
- 11:07you would have us believe that you gave Jeffrey Epstein
- 11:10for one hundred and sixty five million dollars. But you're
- 11:14pinching pennies over here. If this was just a consensual
- 11:18relationship with miss Ganieva and you never abused her, you
- 11:22never took it her Epstein's none of this stuff ever happened.
- 11:26I'm sure you could have had an amicable type of
- 11:29situation here where you paid her a certain amount of
- 11:31do and been done with it. Now, look, I'm not
- 11:33saying that's the right thing to do. I think it's atrocious.
- 11:36My point is, if you have one hundred and sixty
- 11:38five million dollars to pay Jeffrey Epstein off, what are
- 11:41you worried about a couple one hundred extra grand going
- 11:44down this way? See, none of it makes sense when
- 11:47you look at Leon Black's defense and his story here
- 11:49because kind of like with Virginia Roberts and Prince Andrew,
- 11:53how the picture establishes that whole relationship that she alleges.
- 11:58In this instance, the fact that Leon Black has already
- 12:02admitted to the consensual relationship with Miss Kanieva already puts
- 12:06him in the room, if you will. So with everything
- 12:11we know, I'm giving a lot of credence to what
- 12:14she has to say. Now again, I wasn't there. I
- 12:16don't know for sure what happened. But until it's, you know,
- 12:20all worked out one way or the other, we're gonna
- 12:23talk about it because it's a big part of the
- 12:26overall Epstein case. People don't realize how big of a
- 12:30role that Leon Black played. You have a lot of
- 12:33people that go the Wexner route, and there's no doubt
- 12:36Les Wexner played a gigantic role in turning Jeffrey Epstein
- 12:39into what he became as far as financially and opening
- 12:43some doors. But Leon Black was on another level then
- 12:46even less Wexner folks. Less Wexner's powerful, he's rich, and
- 12:50he's all of that, but he's not Leon Black. Leon
- 12:54Black is an absolute great white shark when it comes
- 12:57to this sort of business, business in general. And this
- 13:02was the man who was look at a serious patron
- 13:05of Jeffrey Epstein's one hundred and sixty five million dollars.
- 13:09How much did that that money go? How far did
- 13:12it go to help further Jeffrey Epstein's criminal behavior, to
- 13:16help him and Maxwell continue to do what they did.
- 13:24Black admits to making secret payments of one hundred thousand
- 13:27dollars a month beginning in twenty fifteen to Gazelle Ganieva
- 13:32to keep their relationship confidential. Ganieva alleges in her own
- 13:36suit that Black sexually assaulted her when she refused his overtures,
- 13:40and look again, I was not there. There's a ton
- 13:43of gray area here. So we'll have to see how
- 13:47this all plays out one way or the other. All
- 13:49I could say is this, if you're going to hang
- 13:51out with Jeffrey Epstein and not just you know, oh,
- 13:54I saw him at a cocktail party and we had
- 13:56some of her roasteduenis together, hang out but great bread
- 14:00with old boy and break him off to the tune
- 14:03of one hundred and fifty eight hundred and sixty five
- 14:05million dollars. You better believe my antenna is gonna go
- 14:09up when someone makes an allegation against you. You are
- 14:12the company you keep after all right. Leon Black has
- 14:18taken victim shaming of sexual assault victims to a stratospheric level.
- 14:23Kanieva's attorney, Gene Christiansen of Whigdor LLP, said in a
- 14:27statement to the Current Black intends in the suit that
- 14:30Ghanieva demanded one hundred million dollars and threatened to reveal
- 14:34the relationship to his wife and Apollo's board, as well
- 14:38as the press if he did not pay her. And
- 14:40still one hundred million, that's a lot of dough, right,
- 14:43sixty five million less than you gave to Epstein for advice.
- 14:49Could have gave her this money and been done with it.
- 14:51Leon Black could have still been going on along your way.
- 14:54But nope, not the case. Your pride wouldn't let you
- 14:57do it, would it. Even if it's going ruin you,
- 15:00and I have a funny feeling it's going to Folks,
- 15:03we have not heard the last about Leon Black and
- 15:05his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. And no matter which way
- 15:09this situation turns, this dude's going to have to answer
- 15:13for that eventually. Nevadic gaming regulators, who approved Caesar's Entertainment
- 15:20bankruptcy restructuring in twenty seventeen, we're either not interested or
- 15:25unaware of the secret monthly payments from Black to Ganieva.
- 15:30And here we come back to the circling around part right,
- 15:33circling back to it. And that's the Gaming Commission. I mean,
- 15:36come on, man, it's like all of the stereotypes of
- 15:43what the Gaming Commission is, that's exactly what they are.
- 15:47Remember when Michael Corleoni came Michael Corleone came to Las
- 15:51Vegas in the Godfather, and you know, he goes to
- 15:54see his brother and Moe Green's there and it's the
- 15:56whole thing. Then he gets that cowboy senator dude who
- 16:00shows up and gives them all kinds of grief about
- 16:02his gaming license. Yeah, kind of the same thing going
- 16:05on here still. Just you know, they're all wearing ten
- 16:07thousand dollars suits now instead. Longtime gaming attorney Frank Shrek,
- 16:14who represents AGM, says he was not involved in the
- 16:17company's restructuring. Shrek, a former member of the Nevada Gaming Commission.
- 16:22Oh shocker huh is the attorney who arranged for a
- 16:25corporate shell to secretly make seven and a half million
- 16:28dollars in payments to a win Las Vegas manicurist who
- 16:32claimed she was raped and impregnated by Steve Win in
- 16:35two thousand and five, according to the Massachusetts Gaming Commissions
- 16:39twenty and nineteen report on Win and his previous empire.
- 16:43I'm not even going to touch on that. I don't
- 16:45know enough about it. I know that Steve Win got
- 16:48chased from all of his properties here in Las Vegas
- 16:51over these allegations, So there must have been a little
- 16:53something something there, right, And you know how I feel
- 16:56about people who are that rich. I feel like all
- 16:58of these people are wired incorrectly, and you get to
- 17:01a certain level and it's like your brain stops working
- 17:06and your you know, whatever inner clock of morality that
- 17:11you're possessing, it just it breaks and you don't have
- 17:14one anymore. Massachusetts regulators, conducting an investigation into Wins Resorts
- 17:23gaming application in that state, asked Shrek if the purpose
- 17:27of the LLC was to hide Winds identity, not just
- 17:30Steve Winn, said Shrek, who told investigators he represented both
- 17:34Win and the hotel, just so this whole settlement would
- 17:37be maintained on the confidential agreements. So basically, I'm going
- 17:41to set up a shell company and use it to
- 17:45pay people out. I don't even understand how. See this
- 17:48is the thing, if you or I did any of
- 17:50this stuff, folks, we'd be in prison for a bazillion years.
- 17:53Underneath the prison. Look at the way they treat people
- 17:57for simple minor possession. And I'm not talking about violent criminals.
- 18:00Violent criminals deserve to be locked up, not even a question,
- 18:04no short bail, none of that. But nonviolent offenders get
- 18:07treated and getting treated worse than these gigantic crooks. These
- 18:13people have been stealing from us forever. No evidence surface
- 18:20during this investigation showing that in two thousand and five,
- 18:24anyone with knowledge of the Manicurius allegations of the settlement
- 18:27disclosed the matter to the Nevada Gaming Control Board. MASS
- 18:32investigators wrote their efforts at secrecy made it exceedingly difficult,
- 18:36if not impossible, for gaming regulators to detect this potential
- 18:41derogatory information through typical regulatory means, which rely heavily on
- 18:47robust self disclosures. So basically, they want them to self
- 18:51govern themselves, rich people to self govern themselves. That's what
- 18:54the gaming control boards saying over here, little wink wink,
- 18:58nud jad, troll yourselves. It's absurd. They're supposed to regulate
- 19:04all of this, and they're too busy worrying about nonsense
- 19:07like I was talking about earlier, then very very very
- 19:10important things such as this, Shrek told MASS investigators. The
- 19:16Manicurist attorney initially alleged his client was raped by Win.
- 19:20At that point I said, if that's your position, then
- 19:23this is not a civil case. It's a criminal case,
- 19:25and the conversation ends, Shrek told investigators. And he backed
- 19:29off of that immediately and we then went ahead and
- 19:33discussed whatever the next moves would be in terms of
- 19:36trying to resolve the case. So it's a bunch of
- 19:38he said, She said, like usual, right, Shrek says one thing,
- 19:42that another person says another thing, and you know you
- 19:45have yourself enough there for these people to claim plausible
- 19:49deniability and still somehow find their way to getting their
- 19:54gaming license or whatever it might be. The Nevada Gaming
- 19:59Control Board find Win Resorts twenty million dollars in twenty
- 20:02nineteen for failing to conduct an investigation into the two
- 20:06thousand and five allegation. Shrek's law firm drew up the
- 20:10stipulated agreement between the hotel and the state, so it
- 20:14took them fourteen years to get things crack alacing twenty
- 20:19million dollars after fourteen years. Do you know how much
- 20:21money the Win Resorts brings in. It's an absurd amount.
- 20:25Their pool parties alone are bringing in an absurd amount.
- 20:28I know what the property I worked at for a
- 20:30bazillion years. Four weeks of pool parties paid for their
- 20:34whole year of operations. Absolutely insane. The amount of money
- 20:39these casinos bring in, So twenty million dollars is an
- 20:42absolute joke. The ten count complaint against Win Las Vegas,
- 20:47filed by Nevada gaming officials makes no mention of Shrek's
- 20:50role in concealing the seven and a half million dollars
- 20:53in payments. Why should it. Shrek, who was expected to
- 20:57represent Apollo Global Management before the Gaming Control Board this week,
- 21:01would not respond to whether black status as majority stockholder
- 21:05of AGM is expected to be an issue in the licensing?
- 21:09Why should it be so? Even though he stepped down,
- 21:11mind you, Leon Black, Remember he's still the biggest stockholder
- 21:14in Apollo Global, so he's gonna benefit from this greatly.
- 21:19And I'm not okay with that either. I just look,
- 21:22here's the thing. I don't want Apollo Global in Las Vegas.
- 21:25All of these corporations have ruined my city. Las Vegas
- 21:29was a great place when these casinos were all owned
- 21:32by separate entities or separate people. I know. The hard
- 21:35Rock Hotel was just absolutely amazing, an amazing place to work,
- 21:40an amazing place to hang out, just overall great experience
- 21:44until Peter Morton sold it in two thousand and eight.
- 21:47Once Peter Morton sold the property, forget it and those
- 21:53That's the Dominoes fell in Las Vegas and the corporations
- 21:56came in, and this is the kind of shit you get.
- 21:59You get people Leon Black calling the shots for my money.
- 22:04It's almost I say, a tongue in cheek, but we'd
- 22:07be better off with the mafia here, right, At least
- 22:10my blueberry muffins would have the right amount the blueberries
- 22:14in them. Apollo is offering two point twenty five billion
- 22:20for the Las Vegas Sands operations, while VIICI Properties, a
- 22:24real estate investment trust, will pay four billion for the
- 22:27real estate. A spokesman for the Gaming Control Board had
- 22:31no comment when asked whether chairman Bryn Gibson will abstain
- 22:34from the AGM matter. Gibson, an attorney, worked for Shrek's
- 22:38law firm in twenty twenty. I highly doubt that he'll abstain.
- 22:43I just don't see it. Why would they Why would
- 22:45they abstain? Oh, there's no conflict of interest here. We
- 22:49can separate our bias. Give them the permit, Give them
- 22:54the permit. You know how it goes. Anyway. That's where
- 22:58we're at here with Apollo Global, and things are moving
- 23:02fast with this whole story, and I want to make
- 23:05sure we stay on top of it, and we make
- 23:07some time for it when there's a little bit of
- 23:08downtime like we have tonight with the Prince Andrew situation.
- 23:13In the Glenn Maxwell trial, we're pretty much all caught
- 23:16up there. So instead of rehashing the stuff that we've
- 23:18went over the last couple of days, there's really no
- 23:21context to add yet. I figured we would deviate the
- 23:24course a bit here and talk about this because this
- 23:27is a big deal. And again, let's not forget that
- 23:31if this goes through and they're able to purchase this
- 23:34at this cut rate, by the way, this is a
- 23:35good deal. The Sands is a very profitable company, and
- 23:39we know that the restrictions and COVID it's not going
- 23:41to be here forever, folks. So they're looking long term.
- 23:44That's what they're looking at here, the long term evaluation
- 23:47of this purchase. And for my money, I just don't
- 23:52want to follow Global in Las Vegas, point blank period.
- 23:55I don't like Leon Black, and he's going to be
- 23:57the one who benefits from this over we're all in
- 24:00the long run. So I hope the Gaming Commission does
- 24:03the right thing. Do I expect them to absolutely not
- 24:07all right, folks, that's gonna do it. For tonight's episode,
- 24:10a couple more context episodes come in your way, and
- 24:14then tomorrow morning, right back at it. We'll pick up
- 24:16with Prince Andrew and Glenn Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein. We'll see
- 24:20where we're at and we will go from there. I
- 24:23hope that everybody has a great night. If you'd like
- 24:26to contact me, you can do that at Bobby Kapuci

- 24:43The link that we discussed can be found in the
- 24:46description box. So for our article this morning, folks, we're
- 24:50gonna jump right back in and talk a little bit
- 24:52more Apollo Global and Leon Black. And in this installment,
- 24:56we're gonna talk about how the United Nations, as you
- 25:00all know, certainly not my favorite group of people, a
- 25:03group of people I think are basically an organized criminal
- 25:08group at the UN right well, they even think that
- 25:13Jeffrey Epstein's ties to Leon Black are too much to swallow,
- 25:20and they also believe that the report from the law
- 25:23firm did not go far enough, did not do enough
- 25:29to bring their fears and their second thoughts under control.
- 25:36So we're going to jump into this article from the
- 25:38Financial Times, and we're going to see what the Financial
- 25:43Times and authors Francesca Friday, Mark Vanderveld and Kay Wiggins
- 25:51have to say about the UN an Apollo Global headline
- 26:01Apollo's Epstein report fails to reassure United Nations fund and
- 26:07I find that comical at best, right considering the United
- 26:10Nations is just populated with a bunch of thieves and
- 26:13scum as it is, so imagine being such a scumbag
- 26:17that even the UN thinks you're a scumbag. I mean,
- 26:21that's like Jeffrey Dahmer getting up on his soapbox and
- 26:25calling Ted Bundy a scumbag, like I said. This article
- 26:30was authored by Francesca Friday, Mark Van Derveld and Kay
- 26:35Wiggins a report for excuse me before we get started.
- 26:40By the way, this article was originally published on February second,
- 26:45So I've had this one in the stack for a
- 26:46little while, and since there's no new news to really
- 26:50get to today, I figured we'd add a little more
- 26:53context to this conversation. So here we go. A report
- 26:57by lawyers for Apollo Global Management into the ties between
- 27:01Leon Black and the late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein is not
- 27:05enough to remove the company from a watch list of
- 27:07investments that require extra scrutiny. A top un pension fund
- 27:12official has said, Oh, well, that doesn't sound damning, That
- 27:17isn't horrendous or anything. How could you possibly have your
- 27:20money parked with Apollo Global and just shrug your shoulders
- 27:25at this? And you know, I get it right. Money
- 27:29rules the world, and people, at the end of the day,
- 27:32they want to increase their wealth. And really a lot
- 27:35of these people truly don't care how this money is made.
- 27:39Blood diamonds, big deal war, don't care on the backs
- 27:43of sexual exploitation, back, big deal cash my check. And
- 27:49again I don't want to sound like, you know, being
- 27:53extra critical of anyone with money, because that's not the case, right.
- 27:58I'm talking about the one percent of the one percent,
- 28:02the hedgies and their friends and the other scuzz bags
- 28:06that are invested with Apollo. Those people really don't give
- 28:11a damn about society as a whole. And if you
- 28:14think they care about you, or your children, or your
- 28:17dreams or your hopes, you are sadly mistaken. Go to
- 28:21your local bank if you have a bad credit score,
- 28:24and try and get a loan and see how that
- 28:26works out for you. The banking system is installed to
- 28:35keep control over us. I mean the fact that the
- 28:41only time you ever hear about Jesus Christ getting mad
- 28:44is when he flipped over the table of the tax
- 28:47the tax people in the church for usury. That should
- 28:51tell you all you need to know about these bankers.
- 28:54They're doing the same thing that loan sharks for the
- 28:56mafia do on the streets, but instead if you don't
- 28:59pay the bankers, instead of just breaking your hand, they
- 29:03destroy your whole entire life. The law firm Deckert said
- 29:10last week that mister Black, Apollo's co founder, had transferred
- 29:13one hundred and fifty eight million dollars to Epstein for
- 29:16advice and other professional services, far more than was previously known.
- 29:23And we've touched on this a bunch. There is no
- 29:26way that that money was moved for advice. Anyone who
- 29:30tries to tell you that with a straight face is
- 29:33bsing you. Okay, there's no advice on this planet that
- 29:37should cost one hundred and fifty eight million dollars no
- 29:41advice on this planet. The firm found that Apollo did
- 29:49not do business with Epstein and that there was no
- 29:52evidence that Black was involved in any way with Epstein's
- 29:56criminal activities at any time. You know, it's pathetic, really
- 30:00is pathetic. And you know, I hate to rehash on
- 30:02this again, and we've talked about this a lot lately,
- 30:06but I feel it's important, right Obviously, I feel it's important.
- 30:09If we're hammering it the way we are, if we
- 30:12keep revisiting this topic, there's a reason for it. And
- 30:16that reason is I'm tired of people like Leon Black
- 30:19getting away with things like this. I'm tired of people
- 30:22like Leon Black not facing the consequences when everybody else
- 30:27in society has to beat to the drum. You know,
- 30:31we have to get going with whatever drum beat. People
- 30:35like Leon Black and those that he financed to get
- 30:38into office play for us. You know, we're not dancing
- 30:42to our own tune, but we should be. We should
- 30:46have a justice system that we can rely on, a
- 30:48justice system that we know if we get in trouble
- 30:52or there's something that goes wrong, that everyone's going to
- 30:55go in and have a fair shake under the law
- 31:00that is certainly not what's going on here. And that's
- 31:02why it's comical with Maxwell as well, with her whole
- 31:06entire routine about how, oh, the conditions of jail are
- 31:10so terrible for me, for me, for me, it's always
- 31:13about me, me, me. That's why I don't have any
- 31:15compassion for her. I've been very clear that I feel
- 31:18like the Department, the Bureau of Prisons, needs to be fixed.
- 31:23I've been very clear that I think reformation needs to happen,
- 31:27but unfortunately it's not happening. Right. These are the rules
- 31:31that we're all playing by, or supposed to play by.
- 31:34And now that Guilaine Maxwell is facing the music and
- 31:37she's sitting there rotting in a jail cell, now everybody's
- 31:40worried about if it's fair or not. Well, I have
- 31:43news for you, Guilaine and Marcus and all of the
- 31:46other people that support you. Jail's always been shitty for
- 31:50poor people. You don't like the way the shit pie tastes,
- 31:54will stop baking it. Apollo was put on the un
- 32:00Joint Staff Pension Funds watch list in mid July twenty
- 32:04nineteen after reports of mister Black's ties to Epstein. A
- 32:08un official said so again. In essence, this is a
- 32:12good thing for the UN to have a official watch
- 32:15list for businesses that are involved in malfeasance. Right in principle,
- 32:21it sounds like a great idea. The problem is this,
- 32:24the UN is as corrupt, or even more corrupt, perhaps
- 32:28than even Leon Black. So we're if we're sitting here
- 32:32thinking that the UN is some kind of watchdog, that
- 32:35the UN is this this body of morality that is
- 32:39going to make sure people like Leon Black are doing
- 32:42the right thing, we are all going to be sorely
- 32:46disappointed because the UN, like any other bureaucracy, is terrible. Okay,
- 32:54the UN, they don't the left hand never knows what
- 32:57the right hand is doing. They're always up to some
- 32:59stupid and it seems like all of the officials at
- 33:03the UN are more worried about increasing their own wealth
- 33:07and trying to get a little something something out of
- 33:09their position. Tell me the last time the UN showed
- 33:13up anywhere, and it was like a good situation, right,
- 33:16they showed up and they helped out, and nobody complained
- 33:19about people in the UN abusing and raping and trafficking kids.
- 33:23Very rare, Right, every time they show up somewhere. It's
- 33:26a whole entire shit show of crimes and malfeasance. So
- 33:31that's why I find it laughable that the UN, of
- 33:34all places, acts like there's some sort of watchdog here.
- 33:37Oh yeah, what Apollo Global is doing, we can't, we
- 33:41can't abide by that. Meanwhile, how many people from the
- 33:45UN throughout the years have been involved in horrendous crimes,
- 33:52So talk about hypocrisy. Apollo was put on the UN
- 33:59Joint Staff Pen Funds watch list in July twenty nineteen
- 34:03after reports of mister Black's ties to Epstein. A UN
- 34:06official said the eighty point three billion dollar pension fund
- 34:10has invested with Apollo since at least twenty and thirteen.
- 34:14So they have eighty point three billion dollars the UN.
- 34:19Why does the UN have eighty billion dollars? Anyway, that's
- 34:22I guess that's another topic for another time. They have
- 34:25eighty billion dollars invested with Leon Black and Apollo Global,
- 34:32eighty billion with a b folks billion dollars. So what's
- 34:40with all the talk the UN? Are you gonna walk
- 34:43the walk or just talk the talk? Because now, in hindsight,
- 34:46when we're looking back at this a few weeks later,
- 34:50you haven't bounced out of this pension yet, so once
- 34:53again seems like a bit of grand standing by the
- 34:57United Nations. Speaking after the Decor report was published, Pedro Guazo,
- 35:04representative of the UN Secretary General for the Investment of
- 35:07the pension fund's assets, told the Financial Times right now,
- 35:11we are not exploring any individual excuse me, exploring any
- 35:15additional investments with them. Well that's a good start, huh.
- 35:19But again my question is why does the UN have
- 35:22eighty billion dollars? Can somebody refresh my memory and tell
- 35:27me how many famines are happening around the world right now,
- 35:30how many people are starving and underdeveloped countries. But the
- 35:33UN's investing eighty billion dollars with Leon Black seems legit
- 35:37almost as great as the Catholic Church when you got
- 35:40the Pope up there, you know, yelling down at everybody
- 35:43about giving and being charitable. Meanwhile, the Vaticans sitting on
- 35:47an untold amount of wealth, why don't you open up
- 35:52your doors and pass out some gold there, mister Pope,
- 35:56Same shit here with the UN. Right, bug it up there,
- 35:58and they'll talk about how they care and how they're
- 36:00gonna show up and help people and feed people, and
- 36:04meanwhile they're investing eighty billion dollars with Jeffrey Epstein's buddy.
- 36:10The current outlook of the UN Office of Investment Management
- 36:14is that the findings of Decord's investigation were not enough
- 36:17to move Apollo off the watch list. He added, Reputational
- 36:21risk is something that we take very seriously, mister Guazo said,
- 36:25stressing that any new investment would have to meet stringent
- 36:28UN criteria concerning social impact and corporate governance. Oh yeah,
- 36:33a lot of pretty words, folks, a lot of flowery
- 36:37words to make you think that they care. Meanwhile, that
- 36:40eighty billion is still sitting there, aparked with Apollo Global.
- 36:44Yank it. If you really care, you in and you
- 36:47truly want to see the world the better place, yank
- 36:50your money. The UN's decision to blow is a blow
- 36:57to Apollo. Who's co founder Joshua Harris had said in
- 37:00October that the third party fundraising will slow over the
- 37:04near term as some investors await the findings of the
- 37:07review by the company's lawyers. Well, we know that a
- 37:10lot of companies have not shied away, right, and I've
- 37:13been taking note of these companies and we're going to
- 37:16talk about them a little bit more later on. But
- 37:18all of these places that are still investing with Apollo,
- 37:21with this shroud of Jeffrey Epstein hanging over them, they
- 37:25should honestly be ashamed of themselves. All for an extra
- 37:28couple of percent of yield. You could go with a
- 37:31more reputable company, maybe miss out on half a point
- 37:34of yield or something like that, but still feel better
- 37:37about yourself. I know as an investor, and obviously not
- 37:40on this level, but as an investor, I don't invest
- 37:43in companies that I don't believe in. I don't invest
- 37:46in situations I don't believe in. If a company has
- 37:49this kind of ill repute, I'm certainly not parking my
- 37:52money with them. Apollo last week unveiled reforms designed to
- 37:59addres investors concerns, saying it would add four new independent
- 38:03directors and revamp it's dual class share structure to give
- 38:07outside investors more say in how the firm is run.
- 38:10Mister Black said he would step down as chief executive
- 38:14by July thirty first. So we see the reformation beginning, right.
- 38:19We see they brought on Jay Clayton, who I talked about,
- 38:21yesterday Trump's sec sheriff. Certainly not a higher that I
- 38:26think is a good idea. But you see them trying
- 38:28to make steps in the direction of acting like they care,
- 38:32acting like they're going to fix things. Meanwhile Black is
- 38:37still involved, Rowan is the CEO now and Harris has
- 38:41been sidelined. Makes you wonder what the true goal of
- 38:44Apollo is making things right or continuing to protect their
- 38:49founder and their bud Leon Black. Deckert had unrestricted access
- 38:57to all relevant individuals and documents, and the report was
- 39:00publicly released in its entirety. Apollo said in a statement
- 39:04to the fp FT, excuse me, that's wrong. They had
- 39:08access to whatever Black decided to give them. This wasn't
- 39:12a subpoena by the government. Give me a break, stop
- 39:14gaslighting us, It added. The corporate governance enhancements proposed or
- 39:23sweeping and subject to corporate and regulatory approvals, will be
- 39:26industry leading. Those moves appeared to placate some Apollo investors,
- 39:32among them the UK South Yorkshire's Pension Authority, which committed
- 39:36almost twenty nine million pounds across three Apollo funds between
- 39:40twenty thirteen and twenty and nineteen. The Authorities director George
- 39:46Graham told the FT that Apollo's actions demonstrate a commitment
- 39:50to learning and improving from things that go wrong. Uh
- 39:55what so the pension plan here, the South Yorkshire Pensions
- 40:01Authority thinks that investing their money with Leon Black is
- 40:04a good idea because you know, the Decor report went
- 40:07far enough to clearly on Black and Apollo Global of
- 40:11any sort of misdeeds. Uh what. Obviously the leader of
- 40:17that pension plan is also suffering from CTE, very very
- 40:22serious condition. Too many shots to the head. We'll have
- 40:25you thinking funny. If you'd like to contact me, you
- 40:30can do that at Bobby Kapuci at ProtonMail dot com.
- 40:33That's Bo bby c ap you Cci at ProtonMail dot com.

- 40:52And to everybody who has donated to the podcast recently,
- 40:55thank you folks so much. All right, everybody, I will
- 40:59be back later on. I don't know about a daily
- 41:01drop tonight. We'll see what's going on. We'll see which
- 41:04way the wind blows. If there's something to talk about.
- 41:07I'll hop on. If not, expect a couple of flashbacks,
- 41:10and then expect me, my beard and my big mouth
- 41:14back tomorrow morning. All right, everybody, have a great night,
- 41:18and please, if you're going out tonight, do the right thing.
- 41:22Don't drink and drive. Jess Colling, Hello everyone, and welcome
- 41:27to The Jeffrey Epstein Show. I'm your host, Bobby Capucci,
- 41:31and this is a morning update. What's up everybody, and
- 41:36welcome to the program. So in a few days, my
- 41:39new podcast is launching. Life is a mosh Pit. And
- 41:45on that podcast, we're going to talk about a variety
- 41:48of subjects. We're not gonna be pigeonholed by one topic.
- 41:52We're not gonna just spend countless days on one topic
- 41:56like we do here. It's gonna be a different kind
- 41:59of podcast then the Jeffrey Epstein Show. We're laser focused
- 42:03here on this podcast, right, everything's about Epstein and his
- 42:08people all day, every day. Well, the new podcast is
- 42:12going to be a lot different. We're going to be
- 42:14talking about issues ripped right from the headlines, topics that
- 42:19I don't believe are getting enough play by the legacy media.
- 42:23We're going to be doing deep dives into certain topics, like,
- 42:27for instance, the first topic that we're going to be
- 42:30discussing is the war on drugs, and it's going to
- 42:34be a multiple parts series. We'll start at the beginning
- 42:39and work our way through. Now, what is the war
- 42:42on drugs? Why has it been employed? Why has it
- 42:46been kept going on for so long when we know
- 42:50that it's failing, who's benefiting from it? And who is
- 42:55being hurt though worst buy it? All of that is
- 42:58going to be discussed in this first series. We're gonna
- 43:01be talking about other things as well, money laundering, corruption,
- 43:07We're gonna talk about bias in the media. We're gonna
- 43:10talk about all of it. And I'm not gonna make
- 43:14any of it digest to be either. People are gonna
- 43:19have to choke it down because guess what, there is
- 43:24enough fluff put on these serious topics. There is enough
- 43:29nonsense by the legacy media keeping people unaware of the
- 43:34serious nature of the shit going on around us. Like,
- 43:37for instance, do any of you even know that there's
- 43:41a war going on on the streets of Jacksonville between
- 43:44two rap crews that have claimed the lives of kids
- 43:47that are sixteen years old, And then those same very
- 43:50kids are memorialized in rap songs by their ops their opponents. Furthermore,
- 43:57do you know that Jacksonville doesn't clear rufe seventy percent
- 44:01of the homicides in that city. Sure, some of you
- 44:05might have known this, but I'm guessing a lot of
- 44:08you out there didn't know any of that. And it's
- 44:11not your fault. It's the fault of the legacy media.
- 44:14You would think that if bodies were being dropped on
- 44:17a street like jackson in a city like Jacksonville, in
- 44:20a place like America, it would be all over the TV.
- 44:23There'd be people marching, there'd be all sorts of shit
- 44:26going on. There's none of that happening, and the legacy
- 44:31media just ignores it. Why oh, a bunch of poor
- 44:34kids from the streets of Jacksonville killing each other? Ah,
- 44:37who cares? Keep it moving. So there's a lot of
- 44:41things like that that go on around this country that
- 44:44people do not talk about. And we're gonna be jumping
- 44:48right into that kind of stuff and we're gonna talk
- 44:50about all of that. I think it's important that we
- 44:55have an idea of what's really going on. I think
- 44:57it's important that we lift up the shade and take
- 45:01a look a little bit deeper than what's going on
- 45:04just in the front room. And that's the plan on
- 45:09the new podcast, Life is a mosh Pit. We're going
- 45:12to tackle all of that kind of stuff, all of
- 45:14those CD topics that the legacy media refuses to get into.
- 45:19We're going to get into that. We're going to get
- 45:20into the homelessness issue in a place like Las Vegas,
- 45:24where I'm at, and I even have some plans on
- 45:27doing a short documentary about the homeless issue here in
- 45:30Las Vegas. So I got a lot of things in
- 45:35the works, folks, a lot of things cooking, and all
- 45:38of this is going to crack off and start on
- 45:40June first. Also for those of you who aren't you
- 45:46looking to delve into such deep topics, I'm going to
- 45:50have some light shit on there as well. We're going
- 45:52to talk about pop culture, We're going to talk about
- 45:54reality TV. I'm going to do a sports segment. I
- 45:57know a lot of people have been hitting me up
- 46:00about doing a sports segment, especially coming this coming football season,
- 46:04to discuss, you know, certain bets and things like that.
- 46:08So I'm definitely gonna do that as well. I guess
- 46:11what I'm trying to tell you, folks, is I'm gonna
- 46:14be pumping out a ton of content coming up here
- 46:17real soon, and we're gonna see what's what. We are
- 46:21going to see what's what. But one thing you can
- 46:24guarantee is that you're going to get the same exact's tenacity,
- 46:29the same kind of approach, and the same sort of
- 46:31bulldog mentality that I display here on this new podcast.
- 46:37We're not gonna beat around the bush. We're not gonna
- 46:39pull any punches. We're gonna go hard in the pain.
- 46:44We're gonna dig deep, and we're going to talk about
- 46:47the issues that I believe are being avoided or just
- 46:51straight up ignored by the legacy media. Some of that
- 46:57shit's gonna be grimy, folks, some of it'll probably be
- 47:01hard to hear and read. But this audience especially is
- 47:08well prepared for heavy topics at this point, right, So
- 47:14get ready for all of it. The war on drugs,
- 47:18human trafficking that goes along with it, All of that
- 47:21stuff is about to be explored, about to be touched on,
- 47:25as well as things like I was just talking about,
- 47:28like the situation in Jacksonville. I never see anything like that.
- 47:34On the news when I pop it on, you have
- 47:36to actually actively search stuff like that out. If you
- 47:39don't know that it's going on, then you have no idea. Right,
- 47:44nobody's gonna tell you. None of the newscasters are popping
- 47:47on CNN. Rachel Mattout doesn't have a special about all
- 47:50the bodies being dropped in Jacksonville. Right, So we're gonna
- 47:56discuss all of that. We're gonna fill in the blanks,
- 47:59and we're gonna have a good time doing it. I
- 48:01plan on having some guests on. I plan on having
- 48:04some experts on, and if there's any topics that you
- 48:07folks want to discuss, shoot me an email and I'll
- 48:11definitely take a look and we'll see if we can
- 48:14figure something out. Because there's a whole wide world out there, folks,
- 48:20and we've just dipped our toes in. All right. So
- 48:25as for today and our Jeffrey Epstein News, we're going
- 48:30to talk a little bit more about Apollo Global and
- 48:33the fallout from that. Now, the New York Post is
- 48:36reporting that, you know, this is the Epstein situation is
- 48:41what really led to the break and management at Apollo.
- 48:44They're right about that. I told you folks that quite
- 48:47some time ago, and now this is one of the
- 48:51very few areas where I have air quotes a couple
- 48:54of sources when it comes to the financial world, and
- 48:57that just just because I happen to have a job
- 49:00for some time for cann or Fitzgerald, and I would
- 49:04associate with these guys at like business business meetings and
- 49:08you know, stuff like that. So I got kind of
- 49:12friendly with some of these people, and I've stayed in
- 49:14contact with them, and they've proved to be very reliable
- 49:18when it comes to this financial stuff. They really have
- 49:21their ear to the ground and they know what's going on, right.
- 49:24So they clued me in a while back when all
- 49:27of this was first breaking that this was going to
- 49:30be a serious disruption at the top of Apollo Global
- 49:35and that there was a full on war going on
- 49:38inside of the boardroom. And we've seen that come to pass.
- 49:42We've seen that pan out to be true. And now
- 49:46the New York Post is jumping on and co signing that,
- 49:49which is awesome, right. I like when you have an
- 49:52outlet like the Post that comes on and it confirmed
- 49:55some of the stuff we've heard from the very few
- 49:57sources that I have. It comes to stuff like this,
- 50:01you all know I'm not going to be out here bullshit,
- 50:03and you acting like I got sources all over the place,
- 50:05like I'm some kind of journalist. That's not the case.
- 50:08I'm just like you folks, right, I'm just a guy
- 50:10with a podcast, guy with a few big some commentary.
- 50:14I certainly don't have any sources or anything like that
- 50:17in any other realm. But when it comes to the
- 50:21financial part of this, I happen to know a few people,
- 50:25and they have been spot on with what they have
- 50:28had to say and the information that they have given
- 50:30me in regards to the whole entire financial fiasco around Epstein,
- 50:37and that continues to play out. So let's jump into
- 50:41this New York Post article and let's see just exactly
- 50:46what Josh Kosman, the author of this article, has to say. Headline,
- 50:52how Jeffrey Epstein led to fall out at Apollo Global Management.
- 50:58Jeffrey Epstein was a key reason for tensions at the
- 51:00top of Apollo Global Management that recently spurred the exit
- 51:05of two of its three remaining co founders, and the
- 51:08awkwardness began a decade ago. The Post has learned, Look,
- 51:13this has been brewing right, this isn't a this is
- 51:16something like this doesn't just happen overnight in a boardroom
- 51:18like this, Right, there's fissures, there's little holes, and things
- 51:23start to get more serious, get bigger, and the riffs
- 51:29grow wider as information comes in and they find out
- 51:32more and more about the relationship between Leon Black and
- 51:36Jeffrey Epstein. That made things a whole lot harder to
- 51:41navigate within that boardroom because people understood what it meant. Right.
- 51:47People definitely knew that in that boardroom what was going down.
- 51:52Josh Harris certainly knew, and that's why he was so
- 51:55adamant about not being in bed with Epstein or not
- 51:59being involved with Epstein. Josh Harris knew exactly what the
- 52:03deal was. It was in twenty and eleven that billionaire
- 52:09Leon Black, who on March twenty second revealed he was
- 52:13stepping down from the helm of the giant buyout firm
- 52:16sooner than expected amid controversy over his Epstein ties, first
- 52:20floated the idea of working with the now dead pedophile
- 52:23to his fellow co founders Josh Harris and Mark Rowan,
- 52:27according to sources close to that situation, so all the
- 52:31way Back in twenty and eleven, Leon Black was singing
- 52:36the song of Jeffrey Epstein to Smith and I mean
- 52:40to Harris and Mark Rowan. Back then, even Harris wasn't
- 52:45having it. Harris was not too excited about what was
- 52:48going on. You know, I can't really get a pulse
- 52:51on Rowan. Nobody that I know really knows Rowan personally,
- 52:55so I won't begin to try and make pretend that
- 52:57I have any idea about his motivations. But he certainly
- 53:01seems like he is a yes man for Leon Black.
- 53:04Certainly seems like Leon Black's bag man. And if that
- 53:08was not the case, then you would think that Harris
- 53:13would have gotten the position right. He was set up
- 53:15to be in that position, he was set up to
- 53:17take over. Rowan had even step back from his duties
- 53:20and was basically in retirement. All of this stems from
- 53:24the fact that Harris thinks that Leon Black's a sick
- 53:28bastard for running around with Jeffrey Epstein, running the streets
- 53:32with Epstein, breaking bread with Epstein, and being Epstein's boy.
- 53:36That's what this all comes down to. Harris was grossed
- 53:39out by it. Harris wants nothing to do with it.
- 53:42And Rowan was a lot more accepting of it, point
- 53:45blank period, folks. That's despite the fact that Epstein had
- 53:51been convicted three years earlier for soliciting prostitution from a
- 53:55fourteen year old girl. And we all know that it
- 53:57wasn't prostitution. We all know what Epstein was doing. They
- 54:01all knew what Epstein was doing. And yet Leon Black's
- 54:04jumping right in bed with Epstein, pulling the covers up
- 54:08and giving them the old reach around like it's nobody's business,
- 54:13and at the same time trying to get his partners
- 54:17at Apollo Global to hop into bed with Epstein Epstein
- 54:21as well. Now can you imagine the fallout of all
- 54:24three of these dudes would have been in bed with
- 54:26Epstein if they were all milking that golden cow. With
- 54:33it just being Leon Black, Apollo Global is able to
- 54:35be like, all right, well, this is just it's just
- 54:38Leon Black, it's not the rest of us. He's going
- 54:40to take a step back, and you know, business as normal,
- 54:43will just continue things how they were. And they're able
- 54:48to get away with that, right because Rowan and Harris
- 54:52weren't in bed with Black, so they have plausible deniability.
- 54:58But imagine if Leon Black was able to snake them
- 55:00into it back in the day when he first got
- 55:03into bed with Epstein, this would be a whole different conversation.
- 55:06Right now, In the meantime, Black had continued to associate
- 55:12with him and was prodding Harris and Rowan to hire
- 55:14Epstein to do some work for them and possibly for Apollo,
- 55:18according to the sources. Now the cynic in me is wondering,
- 55:23was Leon Black trying to recruit these dudes to get
- 55:26them caught up in the web as well, to get
- 55:28some more more compromise for Epstein to be in charge of.
- 55:33I mean, you got to ask those questions when you're
- 55:36dealing with the people that we're dealing with, right I
- 55:39know it's very cynical to look at things that way,
- 55:42and it's in most cases, I don't work like that,
- 55:46But when we're dealing with the people that we're dealing
- 55:49with here, the people with the reputations that they have,
- 55:53then you never know what is being used as a
- 55:57tool of manipulation and what's not being used as a
- 56:01tool of manipulation. Manipulation, so, I you know, I don't
- 56:06know what the real motivation is for Leon Black to
- 56:09try and get these dudes in bed with Epstein as well.
- 56:12But something is sitting in my stomach funny with that
- 56:16whole entire setup, and I can't put my finger on
- 56:20it yet, but you better believe I'm gonna keep probing.
- 56:26Leon affirmatively recommended Epstein. It was more than a passing
- 56:30comment once or said he wanted Apollo to hire him.
- 56:33And remember we talked about that as well. My sources
- 56:37were pretty clear about the fact that this just was
- 56:40not an Epstein situation with Leon Black. Leon Black was very, very,
- 56:46very vocal about bringing Epstein into the fold of Apollo
- 56:50and having him take more of a, you know, an
- 56:53advisory role there. That was common knowledge to people who
- 56:58were around Apollo or who had friends working at Apollo.
- 57:01This is something that was discussed and people knew about it.
- 57:06So for Leon Black to act like him and Epstein
- 57:09weren't close, for Leon Black to try and distance himself
- 57:12from Epstein, it's a no win strategy for me, and
- 57:16I'm never gonna let him get off the hook with it.
- 57:18I'm going to continue to pound this piece of pavement, folks,
- 57:21until Leon Black shuts his yap Because it is very
- 57:25obvious to anyone who's paying attention that Leon Black and
- 57:30Jeffrey Epstein were very very tight. Harrison Rowan, repelled by
- 57:38Epstein and concerned about damage to Apollo's reputation, said no,
- 57:42and the conversations never advanced, according to the sources, And
- 57:46that is a fact I heard as well, mainly Harris
- 57:49being very adamant about not wanting to travel down that road.
- 57:53Him owning sports teams and all this other stuff. He
- 57:57recognized the pitfalls of being in bed with somebody like Epstein,
- 58:02and he unequivocally told Leon Black to stuff it now. Rowan,
- 58:07on the other hand, I heard, was a bit more
- 58:12receptive to the idea, but at the end of the
- 58:15day ended up siding with uh with Harris on this
- 58:21specific issue. Nevertheless, tensions between the co founders over Epstein,
- 58:28particularly between Black and Harris, persisted and became a key
- 58:33issue to Black's announce It became a key issue as
- 58:36Black announced his surprise exit from the firm in March.
- 58:40And it's it's, folks, that's what it's always been. We've
- 58:43had a battle Roy Isle going on in this boardroom,
- 58:46and Leon Black and Josh Harris have been locking horns
- 58:52over this Epstein situation for quite some time. Now, making
- 58:56a bunch of money was able to you know, calm
- 59:00the waters a bit right when this wasn't an issue
- 59:03that was in the front page all the time. Now
- 59:08that this issue is front page news and there's fallout
- 59:11from it, well you see the results. You see how
- 59:14Harris pushed to move Black out of his position. Harris
- 59:18was thinking that he was going to step up and
- 59:20be the guy. He got the end around pulled on
- 59:24him though. Rowan came out of retirement and put Harris
- 59:28on ice and slid right into that position. And now,
- 59:32like we've talked about recently, Harris is going to be
- 59:35leaving the company. So all of this, all of this
- 59:40fallout is all due to Leon Black's relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
- 59:49Last week, Harris said he was exiting the firm, leaving
- 59:52Rowan the sole remaining co founder, to serve as chief executive.
- 59:57These assertions made by an unnamed source are completely untrue,
- 1:00:00set a spokesman for Black. I disagree with that. In fact,
- 1:00:06I will go out on a limb and say that
- 1:00:08I believe my source one hundred percent over a spokesman
- 1:00:12for Black. At this point, everything leads to what the
- 1:00:16folks have said about what was going on in the
- 1:00:19boardroom at Apollo Global. Everything has been proven true. So
- 1:00:24it falls on deaf ears when Leon Black's spokesperson comes
- 1:00:29out and says, oh, none of this is true, None
- 1:00:31of this has happened. Leon Black has had a great
- 1:00:33relationship with these guys. Wrong. It's a lie, and this
- 1:00:38has been brewing for quite some time. According to sources. However,
- 1:00:45Black had been pitching Harris and Rowan on Epstein's prowess
- 1:00:48when it comes to tax and estate planning, the same
- 1:00:51services for which it was revealed earlier this year, Black
- 1:00:55had racked up an eye popping tab of one hundred
- 1:00:58and fifty eight million dollars with Epstein. Again, I don't
- 1:01:02buy that for one second. One hundred and fifty eight
- 1:01:05million dollars for advice. Huh okay? Sure? And if that
- 1:01:09advice was so great, why didn't Rowan and Harris jump
- 1:01:13on board? You would think guys that know how to
- 1:01:16recognize a way to make a few fazuls would be
- 1:01:19jumping on board. Or did they take a look at
- 1:01:22what was going on and see what the deal was
- 1:01:26and decided better of it? Again, I don't know I
- 1:01:30wasn't in that boardroom. I have no idea what really occurred,
- 1:01:33but one thing's for sure. Leon Black was in bed
- 1:01:36with Jeffrey Epstein to the tune of one hundred and
- 1:01:38fifty eight million FN dollars, and that money was not
- 1:01:43for advice, not in my opinion anyway. Beyond that, insiders
- 1:01:50said Black was signaling that Apollo might hire Epstein as
- 1:01:53a consultant on investments or possibly enter into investments with him.
- 1:01:58The sources said, Remember, it was never about that. It
- 1:02:01was all about advice right now. It's about investments too.
- 1:02:04What did Jeffrey Epstein have on Leon Black? That's the
- 1:02:07real question nobody is asking. That's the the five million
- 1:02:12pound elephant in the room at this point. Since nobody
- 1:02:14else wants to ask it, I'll ask it. What sort
- 1:02:17of compromid did Jeffrey Epstein have on you? Leon Black?
- 1:02:21You're out here singing this dude's praises, doing the happy
- 1:02:25dance for him. If you had a tail, that shit
- 1:02:27would be wagon. You're so happy to be around Epstein.
- 1:02:30What did he have on you? Black? Despite being turned
- 1:02:35down by Rowan and Harris, doesn't like taking no for
- 1:02:38an answer. According to a source briefed on the situation,
- 1:02:42And for years he continued to float various projects with
- 1:02:45Epstein to his cohorts at Apollo, and at every turn,
- 1:02:50every single time he kept floating these projects, it was
- 1:02:53making Harris more and more agitated, according to the people
- 1:02:56I spoke with. And then when Epstein was busted the
- 1:03:02second time, that was pretty much the nail and the
- 1:03:05coffin for the relationship with Harris and Apollo. It wasn't
- 1:03:09long before this was all gonna fizzle out. Harris's plan
- 1:03:13was to push blackout, and with rowing Rowan already being
- 1:03:18on ice, Harris was gonna slide right into that position.
- 1:03:21But again he got end arounded by Black and Rowan
- 1:03:27and cut off right at the knees. That in turn
- 1:03:32helped heighten tensions between the three executives, particularly Black and Harris,
- 1:03:37who were locked in a rising power struggle as Harris
- 1:03:40steady took on more day to day responsibilities running the
- 1:03:44four hundred and fifty five billion dollar private equity powerhouse,
- 1:03:48sources said, and that's a fact, that's definitely a fact.
- 1:03:52We've seen that for quite some time at Apollo. These
- 1:03:55two dudes were definitely locked in a power struggle, and
- 1:03:59the Epstein a situation is just the fulcrum. It's been
- 1:04:05a slow burn between Josh and Leon since a source
- 1:04:08said Leon would bring Jeffrey up and he was rebuffed
- 1:04:11and weighs big and small. Josh Harris again is very
- 1:04:18critical of this whole entire situation. And I'm not going
- 1:04:21to sit here and say it's because he's a good guy, right,
- 1:04:23I don't know him. I don't know what he does
- 1:04:25in his private life. But what I will say is this,
- 1:04:28the stench of Epstein is not a stench that he
- 1:04:30wanted anywhere near him, so much so that it's making
- 1:04:35him leave this gigantic powerhouse of a company. And this
- 1:04:42whole entire power struggle is based on the fact that
- 1:04:46Leon Black would not let go of his relationship with
- 1:04:49Jeffrey Epstein. Tensions over Epstein came to a head in
- 1:04:54January when Harris demanded that Black step down over concerns
- 1:04:58that his Epstein ties would tarnish the firm. Sources said.
- 1:05:02In response, Black named Rowan his successor as CEO, a
- 1:05:06surprise move given that Harris had been taking on an
- 1:05:09increasingly crucial operational role while Rowan had been taking on
- 1:05:13fewer duties at the firm. According to sources, Yeah, Roan
- 1:05:16was set up for retirement, He was on his way out.
- 1:05:19He was taken some easier gigs doing a much easier load.
- 1:05:25And it was Harris who was set up to take
- 1:05:27the reins and become the big dog. And Leon Black
- 1:05:31threw the kebash on that, torpedoed that, and well you
- 1:05:35see where we're at. An investigation by the firm of
- 1:05:40the law firm Deckert, whose results were made public in January,
- 1:05:44concluded that while Black did not try to pressure his
- 1:05:46co founders to use Epstein, he did positively comment on
- 1:05:50the substantial value of Epstein's services, and at Epstein's repeated request,
- 1:05:56did try to introduce Epstein to his co founders. Of course,
- 1:06:00of course he did. That was all part of it, right,
- 1:06:03rebuilding Epstein's image, being a vehicle for Epstein to ride
- 1:06:07into the stratosphere. And all of these stupid mons played
- 1:06:10their part to a tee. In the end, neither co
- 1:06:15founder hired Epstein or consulted with him on their personal matters.
- 1:06:19The report released January twenty second said, while the report
- 1:06:23did not give a specific timeline for the disagreements over Epstein.
- 1:06:27Deckert has also determined that Epstein unsuccess unsuccessfully sought to
- 1:06:32pitch business opportunities to certain Apollo senior executives, none of
- 1:06:37which were pursued by Apollo or those executives, according to
- 1:06:41the report, And it's just the same old story, right,
- 1:06:46Epstein had Black, and once he had Black, he thought
- 1:06:49he had the inn but Harris and Rowan somehow resisted.
- 1:06:56As previously reported by the Post, Epstein was listed as
- 1:06:59director on the board of Black's charity, the Black Family Foundation,
- 1:07:03between two thousand and one and twenty twelve. At the time,
- 1:07:08Black's reps insisted that Epstein had been listed as a
- 1:07:11director for the four years following his conviction solely because
- 1:07:15of a clerical error. So again, these people with all
- 1:07:19this money in the world, all this power, all this nonsense,
- 1:07:21want you to believe that the only reason he was
- 1:07:24listed as a director was a clerical error. They really
- 1:07:30think you're stupid. They really think that nobody is going
- 1:07:34to dig deeper, that everyone's just going to buy their narrative.
- 1:07:37And hell, why shouldn't they think that? We have for
- 1:07:40so long, with the help of a complicit legacy media
- 1:07:44we've been force fed their bullshit for so long that
- 1:07:47we just accept it. Well, folks, those days are coming
- 1:07:51to a screeching halt. And the days of people like
- 1:07:56Leon Black operating in the shadows and not fake any
- 1:08:00repercussions for their bullshit, well those days are coming to
- 1:08:04an end as well. If you'd like to contact me,
