Latest / Brandon Fogal Evolution / #68 - TRUMP vs. ZELENSKYY | HEATED Oval Office Clash in Front of U.S. Media!
Transcript
- 0:00Donald Trump and Zelensky had just a regular meeting at the Oval Office,
- 0:05and it was fireworks, and I don't think anybody was expecting that.
- 0:10I certainly wasn't. I just saw a bunch of tweets come out, and the first one
- 0:14I saw was Russell Brand tweeted about it, and then it just took off from there.
- 0:18So, I mean, it was crazy. Have you actually seen it yet? What happened?
- 0:22No. It is the news of the day. Somebody told me about it, And then something
- 0:28on my phone said that Trump was humiliated by him.
- 0:30But I was talking to people who saw it. I'm like, no, I wouldn't say that.
- 0:35Somebody said that Trump was humiliated by him? Yeah.
- 0:39I didn't catch that. I don't know. And I've seen it a few times.
- 0:44I watched it through a couple times in everything that happened.
- 0:47We're going to try something new on our Friday evening.
- 0:51We don't even know what we're calling this. This is Friday night with Brandon and Jesse?
- 0:56Sure. yeah that's yeah that's what we've that's what
- 0:59we've been kind of calling it i don't know simple simple straight
- 1:02to the point all right my name is brandon fogel
- 1:05this is jesse and this is
- 1:08friday night with brandon and jesse sounds cool
- 1:11catchy it's catchy it's catching on all right
- 1:14we are going to try something a little bit different so i'm going to be messing with
- 1:17the controls a little bit we don't have our jamie bonnie is
- 1:20not she's out on
- 1:24the lam she's you know somewhere you know somewhere you know
- 1:27should be in bed by now but but you don't think she said no it's a it's a it's
- 1:33a school night no thank goodness yeah yeah you you're a long week you're familiar
- 1:39with school nights we haven't had a full week of school and i don't know how
- 1:42long snow and ice nothing.
- 1:46Are you liking that or is it nice to get have a routine be back in a routine though no it's not,
- 1:54yeah my routine was staying home on snow day i sometimes
- 1:58it's nice to be back for me it's good to be back in
- 2:01a routine maybe teachers are different everybody i
- 2:06talked to at the end of the day i'm like ready to go home like yeah this was
- 2:10the longest week ever teachers are just teachers we're exhausted teachers you
- 2:16i think you got a pretty sweet gig though i think besides the kids part,
- 2:21you know, all the students dealing with kids all day.
- 2:23Well, that's kind of the main part of it. I know, but you get summers off.
- 2:28That's pretty nice. A lot of us do summer school, and then we have even less...
- 2:33We're preparing, getting ready for the next year. It's not that much on.
- 2:37But still, oh my goodness.
- 2:40Okay. All right. So we're going to try something a little bit different.
- 2:42I'm going to show a couple clips of what happened today with Donald Trump and Zelensky.
- 2:47Let's see if these come through right. We'll find out.
- 2:51I'm aligned with the world, and I want to get this thing over with.
- 2:55You see the hatred he's got for Putin. That's very tough for me to make a deal with that kind of hate.
- 2:59He's got tremendous hatred. And I understand that, but I can tell you the other
- 3:03side is exactly in love with, you know, him either.
- 3:08So it's not a question of alignment. I have to, I'm aligned with the world.
- 3:12I want to get the thing set. I'm aligned with Europe.
- 3:15I want to see if we can get this thing done.
- 3:18You want me? All right. So there's three clips I wanted to show just to kind
- 3:23of set the stage of what happened, and then we can kind of discuss it.
- 3:28So Trump and Zelensky, two world powers.
- 3:33And Zelensky, I have my views. Before I even say anything, what do you think of the whole situation?
- 3:40I don't know what the situation is. I just know it wasn't, is,
- 3:44or wasn't Russia, are they continually attacking Ukraine still?
- 3:49Yeah, Ukraine and Russia, it's been at least two years, two years of war.
- 3:56It started in February of, maybe it was like 2023, it was either 2022 or 2023.
- 4:03So it's been at least two years of war where we thought it was only going to last two weeks.
- 4:08And it's The whole issue is Ukraine is very heavily Dependent on us supporting
- 4:16them Funding them giving them Arms and I mean Do we have people over there,
- 4:23like soldiers yes we probably we got
- 4:26soldiers everywhere i don't know if we necessarily have
- 4:29boots on the ground or anything like that but i think it's mainly just us been
- 4:32we've spent like 300 billion dollars of just funding them and what what happened
- 4:39today it seemed like zielinski and i i've went back and forth on this because
- 4:43it is let me switch back a little right now just go back.
- 4:48To zelinski he just i mean
- 4:52this is a guy that's been in war for three years so you got to keep that
- 4:55in consideration and i've seen different videos of him like it
- 4:57seems like almost like he's kind of like tweaking or doing
- 5:00something he like hardness of war is getting to him
- 5:03a little bit you know it's so i mean i think it would
- 5:05get to anyone that he's going through but like even in
- 5:08this interview or this sit down you can
- 5:11he just doesn't look like a man that's got that's
- 5:15everything's right and that's i mean to be expected he's been in war i mean
- 5:19constantly like the the weight of his country is on his shoulders and he's having
- 5:23to carry it and you know yeah that's probably true but from what i heard i didn't
- 5:31see it but what i heard he was just attacking us.
- 5:34And like why aren't you i don't know he wasn't being
- 5:37grateful for anything we did or and it's
- 5:40like his people are probably like shush you
- 5:44know they're what if they withdraw their help
- 5:47or something yeah that was the
- 5:50thing and jd vance was really pushing back on him which i mean donald trump
- 5:56and jd vance is i tweeted out we actually got we finally got men leaders for
- 6:02our country that like these guys are standing up and jd vance were like he was
- 6:05not backing down whatsoever.
- 6:07It was really cool. I mean, he was just like, Zelensky was just sitting back
- 6:11and not showing any gratefulness to, uh, to our country, to,
- 6:15to the administration that's in, in power right now, Trump in advance.
- 6:19And I think it's because he had a pretty, uh, a smooth gravy train coming his
- 6:25way and Biden and Harris, they were giving them anything they want.
- 6:30And it was a blank check as much as you need. We're going to give you all you need and more.
- 6:35And he's, Because he was basically promoting for Biden and Harris.
- 6:41He wanted them in there in power. And it's like to be expected.
- 6:45That awkward now that he has to deal with Trump.
- 6:47Yeah. So I don't think he's too happy about that. Yeah.
- 6:52All right, this is the one causing all the mischief.
- 6:56His name is Rowan. He's a warrior. He's a warrior.
- 7:02He's going to be just... I'm going to get him into jujitsu and karate, martial arts.
- 7:08That's the goal. Can you see yourself, Rowan?
- 7:13What's he thinking? Is his tummy full now? No, he didn't eat.
- 7:19But? you should be asleep I wonder what woke you up what woke you up buddy,
- 7:26he just thought he wanted a midnight snack a midnight snack we're gonna go to
- 7:31second clip this is gonna be more JD Vance stepping in and kind of taking the
- 7:38show it was really cool JD Vance he's just,
- 7:42he's so smart and like he doesn't back down I mean he's not Trumpian he's not
- 7:48that much but he is still like a fighter and it's really cool.
- 7:52We signed the exchange of prisons, but he didn't do it.
- 7:56What kind of diplomacy, J.G., you are speaking about?
- 8:00What do you mean? I'm talking about the kind of diplomacy that's going to end
- 8:04the destruction of your country.
- 8:06Yes, but if you... Mr. President, Mr. President, with respect,
- 8:08I think it's disrespectful for you to come into the Oval Office to try to litigate
- 8:11this in front of the American media.
- 8:13Right now, you guys are going around and forcing conscripts to the front lines
- 8:17because you have manpower problems.
- 8:19You should be thanking the president for trying to bring it into this conflict.
- 8:23Have you ever been to Ukraine that you say what problems we have? I have been to... Okay.
- 8:29And it got a lot more heated. And there's a tipping point that it really took off.
- 8:34And that's going to be the next soundbite that we're going to take a look at,
- 8:37which everybody's probably seen it a few times already.
- 8:40I've already watched it like maybe 10 times already just because it starts off with...
- 8:46Basically, Zelensky says, you all are going to feel it.
- 8:50You're going to feel like if you don't step in and continue funding,
- 8:55you're going to feel it. You're going to feel like that.
- 8:57We're going to hear what he says. But then Trump, he doesn't want any of it. And I don't know.
- 9:03Everybody thinks that this was an ambush. This whole thing got set up like this.
- 9:07But it would not have got out
- 9:10of hand and spiraled out of hand like it did unless zielinski
- 9:15is the one who i would say is was the main contributing factor of why it went
- 9:21off this way i think there's a lot of it that that he doesn't his english is
- 9:26broken like he doesn't it's not like i mean it's a different another language
- 9:30for him so and i think he's very just stern,
- 9:33and he's just a man that's just been in war for the last three years.
- 9:39He's representing his people. So I go back and forth because I like Zelensky,
- 9:45but then we got to do what's right for the American people first and in our best interest.
- 9:51You know, that's the only way that we're going to be able to continue to take
- 9:55care of and help the rest of the world.
- 9:58If we just kind of just bleed ourselves dry, we're not ultimately going to be
- 10:02able to help have as great of an influence if we just, if we lose all,
- 10:07if we give everything away, everything's free and just, and I think the biggest
- 10:11thing, like he wasn't grateful at all.
- 10:14And that was what J.D. Vance kept saying over and over to him was,
- 10:18have you even said thank you once?
- 10:20And he was, I think he was saying it more, he would say thank you to the previous
- 10:27administration because he was happy getting all the dollars coming his way and
- 10:32rolling in. But now it's...
- 10:35Is this really necessary? Let's try to find a different way.
- 10:38We can't just continually give you money and no progress be made.
- 10:44And Trump is ready to just, he wants to somehow get peace between the countries.
- 10:51But... Because early on, Zelensky was like a star.
- 10:59I know he actually was in the movies in his country or something,
- 11:01but he was like this Superman or something. and everybody looked up to him.
- 11:05Now he's kind of changing a little bit.
- 11:08I mean, overall, I think Zelensky, it is funny that people that almost have
- 11:14the greatest impact in politics come out of the movie industry or TV shows.
- 11:20You know, Reagan, you think of Reagan, you think of Donald Trump,
- 11:22you think of Zelensky himself.
- 11:25And I've seen some of the stuff he's done, the videos and movies or shows he
- 11:31created, they're really weird, really weird.
- 11:34You know i mean some of them are zielinski yeah very weird stuff you know like i mean.
- 11:40Not at all the guy that you see now it's like he's
- 11:43like just a flamboyant doing all these weird things and
- 11:46it's really it's really crazy not at all like his stern demeanor that he has
- 11:52now it's completely the opposite but all right this is what the the last one
- 11:58we're going to take a look at and then we'll kind of just talk more about more
- 12:01about everything is this is where it kind of took off and went off,
- 12:04it derailed as some people say.
- 12:07During the war, everybody has problems, even you, but you have nice sauce and
- 12:13don't feel now, but you will feel it.
- 12:16In the future. God bless. You don't know that. God bless. God bless.
- 12:19You will not have to work. Don't tell us what we're going to feel.
- 12:22We're trying to solve a problem. Don't tell us what we're going to feel.
- 12:26I'm not telling you. Because you're in no position to dictate that.
- 12:29Remember, you're in no position to dictate what we're going to feel.
- 12:34We're going to feel very good. You will feel inflamed. We're going to feel very
- 12:38good and very strong. You will feel inflamed. You're right now not in a very good position.
- 12:42You've allowed yourself to be in a very bad position. he happens to be right
- 12:46about the very beginning of the war you're not in a good position i was you
- 12:50don't have the cards right now with us you start having cards right now you don't.
- 12:57All right so yeah i mean
- 13:00this is this doesn't happen normally this
- 13:03is this is which is so weird about
- 13:06this whole situation is these things
- 13:09are reserved for behind closed doors
- 13:12yeah you know you don't have like
- 13:15this in front of the media this kind
- 13:18of argument which is this is what's weird about it
- 13:21was it supposed to be like humiliating to
- 13:24trump is that was that the point about what
- 13:27which part like why did he just come and start attacking us
- 13:31well i mean was this the plan all
- 13:34along or did he just get carried away i the trump and them they were very they
- 13:40laid the ground him and Vance laid the groundwork of like this it's not going
- 13:44to be like it was previously and we're going to things are changing we're not
- 13:49just going to give you a blank check anymore so.
- 13:52Zelensky's coming into that like his guards are up you know he's not like just
- 13:57thinking clearly I don't think he's thinking clearly at all yeah well yeah he
- 14:01might just be just you know scared and frustrated that his money might be gone
- 14:06I mean did they tell him that's he's not getting in as much or?
- 14:10Well, I mean, what was actually that he like, I don't think he,
- 14:15it's just not going to be like as free flowing as it was.
- 14:18And he, he knows that he's got to deal with a new administration that's not
- 14:24going to just bend over for him and just give him everything.
- 14:27It's not, it's not going to be like that anymore. And I, I think he's just not,
- 14:32he's not thinking straight.
- 14:34Zelensky is not thinking straight at all. And I think he's, he's just beaten down by the war.
- 14:39That's how I see it. Cause he's not, he's not maybe a couple of years ago,
- 14:42he would be a lot different than he is now, but he's just had years of just
- 14:47been like money just flowing into his coffers.
- 14:50He's had money constantly coming in and funding.
- 14:53It's been nonstop and just a, just a completely different look and different
- 14:58perspective from the new administration. Mm-hmm.
- 15:02But still, he should know that that's not going to help anything, you know? Doing it.
- 15:07That's why it's very shocking to me that he was acting like that.
- 15:12I don't understand it at all.
- 15:14Like, I would have thought he would have been different.
- 15:18I thought he would have, like, because what's his endgame?
- 15:21What is he trying to, going about it this way and just coming out with no thankfulness?
- 15:28He's not putting himself in a good position or his country. because if he loses the U.S.
- 15:33And the backing of the U.S., I don't know.
- 15:36I mean, like, how would he stand against Russia? We're the only reason he has
- 15:41been able to survive because we're funding their complete military and all that they have.
- 15:46It's just like an ungrateful child, you know, just, if you're thankful for things,
- 15:51you're like, oh, well, here's some more.
- 15:53But if you're not grateful for it, it's like, you're not getting anything. Yeah.
- 15:57And I think, Because everything has just been changed completely.
- 16:02With Doge coming in and Elon Musk... What does that stand for?
- 16:05Department of... Government Efficiency. Efficiency.
- 16:09And Elon was on Joe Rogan's show today, or it was released today,
- 16:15and Elon talked about how they came up with the name Doge.
- 16:20Well, of course, Elon loves the crypto Doge, but it was originally going to be something...
- 16:28Something government efficiency and he thought it was boring but then
- 16:31someone brought to him department of government efficiency and he's
- 16:34like yeah we're going with that oh my gosh yeah so
- 16:37what's elon's title he's just
- 16:40he's the head of the president he's the head of doge yeah he's just the head
- 16:44of doge right now so bff of the president yeah but i just know with elon and
- 16:53Joe Rogan that like I haven't listened to the entire podcast that was dropped today but it was.
- 16:59It it's there it could be the one
- 17:02that's going to be the most watched ever and it's like I think
- 17:05the one it would have to rival would be Trump when Trump
- 17:08went on there and I don't know if it could actually but Elon
- 17:11and him were talking about doge and all
- 17:13the stuff and cutting all the the wasteful government spending that
- 17:16is happening and he was just talking about how it's it's
- 17:20not too hard to get this ship right because
- 17:23there is so much waste happening it doesn't
- 17:26take a rocket scientist to get it.
- 17:29Going right and he's like and i know rocket science because he
- 17:33literally is a person that is sending spaceships into internet
- 17:36nice the just this whole
- 17:39like situation with was zielinski and trump is
- 17:42because then zielinski he's got to go back to the his country
- 17:45and i don't know what he has to show for it
- 17:48at all like what like what out by acting
- 17:52that way what did he get out of it and he went on to
- 17:55different shows afterwards and talking about it and
- 17:58he didn't have any remorse didn't didn't like
- 18:00want to retract anything he says he was he regretted
- 18:04like how it ended up happening and everything everything ended up
- 18:07turning out but he didn't regret not being thankful
- 18:10he didn't regret just the whole standoff that they had with one another he didn't
- 18:16like wasn't sorry about it at all and they were supposed to have like like lunch
- 18:21and dinner or whatever and then but Trump said no we're done with this and send
- 18:26them send them out so that's crazy yeah.
- 18:30It's nuts yeah,
- 18:31Back to the doge again. Is he really, like, letting go a lot of workers for the government?
- 18:38So right now, I think they're going after just what workers are actually there.
- 18:46And they're trying to find out who is.
- 18:48Because a lot of just, there's been a lot of just blank checks that have been cut.
- 18:52And they just started, like, fulfilling them to people.
- 18:57And then those people stopped working there. and then but
- 19:00the like the spout never gets turned off so
- 19:02it's just they like so much just billions of dollars
- 19:05just go get wasted instantly and just continually just
- 19:08pouring out and they're just trying to find out
- 19:11where where those are and
- 19:15so things there have been people that have been cut
- 19:18from the government but overall it's it's going
- 19:21to be painful at the beginning and they're going
- 19:24to see what is actually essential and what
- 19:27isn't okay so we're back well i'm
- 19:30back jesse is still working with
- 19:33rowan right now but i wanted to get on here because there is a lot of stuff
- 19:36i wanted to actually talk about with everything going on with the zelinski and
- 19:40donald trump meeting today because that is what is going to come of that it
- 19:48could take us down a not so good of a path But I think overall,
- 19:52it's definitely a good thing that Donald Trump and J.D.
- 19:55Vance are standing that strong and firm for the American people.
- 19:59I 100% agree with them and what they did and not backing down whatsoever because
- 20:07Zelensky, he came at him like full throttle.
- 20:10Like and I it's just a different culture it's like a completely different culture.
- 20:17And perspective he's it's a different language barrier that Zelensky has with
- 20:23speaking English I mean I can barely speak English and he can him speak in another
- 20:30language and he had to have an interpreter every now and then to say a couple
- 20:32things and to make sense of what Donald Trump and what J.D. Vance were saying.
- 20:37And so it's understandable the way that he came at it and him kind of, he had his guards up.
- 20:45Everything's been just given to him. Zelensky, like they, which I mean,
- 20:49I go back and forth. I mean, we want the best for Ukraine.
- 20:53We want the best for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people. We want the war to stop
- 20:58and to stop the bloodshed and stop the people dying and to stop Putin.
- 21:05From, you know, so it is really, it's a tough situation because, but I...
- 21:14Because you love the people that are there, but you also know that we can't
- 21:19just continually giving them money and funding and just nonstop and just them
- 21:25bleed us dry and not have anything to show for it.
- 21:28You know, like we think of Afghanistan and Iraq, and we've had a lot of wasted, a lot of wasted wars.
- 21:36And that goes, I mean, that's, that's troubling and that's troublesome for a lot of people.
- 21:40A lot of people that lost their lives, lost treasure and wasteful spending,
- 21:48and then just the lives of our soldiers that we spent, and they died over in different countries.
- 21:54And that's hard to say because, I mean, absolutely 100% love our military.
- 21:59But when people make wrong decisions and we invade somewhere that doesn't need
- 22:06to be invaded and we kind of just settle and occupy an area that doesn't need
- 22:10to be occupied, we don't need to be the policemen of the world.
- 22:13And I think Donald Trump is definitely changing that whole mindset that we've
- 22:20had as Americans and that the people in our government have had.
- 22:26So this whole like Ukrainian thing is it's it's hot. It's a hot topic because
- 22:33it's like, where do you stand?
- 22:35You know, keep just giving because on both sides, people are either they're
- 22:39full in, all out for one or the other.
- 22:42They like, I'm completely all in, you know, America should stop funding Ukraine
- 22:46or Trump is Hitler and Ukraine, you know,
- 22:50you know, Ukraine is everything, you know, and I see it from both sides and
- 22:54it's kind of, as opposed to just coming to the situation with common sense and
- 23:00what does the situation call for?
- 23:03I think Donald Trump, he's trying to bring sensibility and reason to the situation
- 23:09that We cannot continue just to give you unlimited funding.
- 23:14You know, there's got to be, there's, we want to support you and we,
- 23:19we are backing you, but we cannot just give you continue and not see any,
- 23:25basically anything get fixed or any end game. What's the end game, you know?
- 23:32So you're not going to be able to beat Russia and win this war,
- 23:38you know, and Russia is going to continue to come at you, you know,
- 23:42unless there's got to be some type of agreement,
- 23:44some type of treaty, some type of peace that has to be won.
- 23:49So we would, if we just continue to go down this road of just continuing just
- 23:53to just unlimited funding, give it, give it to give and just don't stop,
- 23:57you know, and it's like, where's all that money going? Where's all that money going?
- 24:03I've just heard some troubling things about Zelensky.
- 24:06You know, he's probably a decent person, and he's doing great things for his
- 24:14country, but, you know, I've heard just different things.
- 24:20He's basically stopped any possibility of an election happening over there,
- 24:24removed democratic process over there, that he has basically installed himself
- 24:29as the power, you know, and he doesn't seem like that at all.
- 24:33But I mean, it's your real test in who you are and your character just bleeds
- 24:38through when you have power and he has power now.
- 24:42He has power, like significant power and probably not, not told no that often
- 24:48in the people that he is surrounded by.
- 24:51And he's just in a bad situation, a terrible situation, a terrible situation.
- 24:56And just Putin is not a good dude. He is a terrible, terrible human being, you know?
- 25:04So, and he's going against that, you know, he's going against that.
- 25:10And it's like, we want to stop Putin. We have to stop Putin.
- 25:14But the way that we were doing it is not working.
- 25:18It's definitely not working. You know, I mean, we spent like decades over in
- 25:23Afghanistan and over in just the middle East and what to show for it,
- 25:28what to show for it. You know.
- 25:31I know it's a hot topic. It's very political. And people have their viewpoint
- 25:36on one way or the other are very strong in their beliefs about it, you know?
- 25:41Whereas maybe let's just bring some common sense to it, you know?
- 25:45Let's bring some common sense to the situation and know that we cannot continue
- 25:51doing the same thing and expecting a different result.
- 25:55Something's got to change. And I think something is changing.
- 25:57And I think it's great that Donald Trump and J.D.
- 26:00Vance stood toe-to-toe with Zelensky, you know?
- 26:03I mean, I don't think it was very hard, honestly, for Donald Trump to stand
- 26:08toe-to-toe with Zelensky.
- 26:10Trump has got, you know, massive confidence. You could say confidence,
- 26:16ego, whatever, you know?
- 26:18He's got whatever it is that I have never seen before.
- 26:24And that's why I'm so, like...
- 26:28Just awestruck by the human being because the onslaught that he's endured and
- 26:33able to continue doing the things that he does is just incredible to me.
- 26:39I know people don't, some people don't like Trump and a lot of people don't
- 26:45like Trump, but I think a lot of people are coming around.
- 26:47I think a lot of people are seeing that overall our country was not going down the best road.
- 26:54And if we are going to get anything in order for our country to have a future
- 26:59for our country, because I mean, I've been in situations where I've been at places where I've.
- 27:07Basically, you spend yourself into oblivion, you go into just massive debt,
- 27:12and you can't just continue spending and just go in deeper and deeper in debt.
- 27:19Eventually, it catches up with you.
- 27:22And the way that our country is going, that's why it's so weird because our
- 27:27country just creates currency.
- 27:29It just, by fiat, just makes more and more money.
- 27:33So it's different that way. but it
- 27:36does it just and we've we've just
- 27:39now started feeling inflation in a lot of ways significantly but
- 27:44the way that we are going we will eventually go off
- 27:47a cliff unless we change something and i
- 27:50had been of the opinion for the longest time that i don't care i'm not a conservative
- 27:56in that aspect i don't care about spending because it's like how how in the
- 28:02world would we ever actually fix the hole that we're in and dig ourselves out?
- 28:07How would that even be possible?
- 28:09But I almost can see it. I can almost get a glimmer of it.
- 28:13If we change the trajectory that we're going and make things better and change
- 28:21the way that we've been doing it significantly.
- 28:26I mean, it would almost take a miracle to get us where we are not this deep
- 28:32in trillions and trillions in dollars of debt.
- 28:35And just hearing the podcast today by Joe Rogan and Elon Musk,
- 28:39like Elon was just saying that like the amount of debt that we are in,
- 28:45like double that easily.
- 28:48Once we come to actual full-fleshed out entitlements, entitlements for what
- 28:55people will be owed in the future, basically of being, of pouring their money in and.
- 29:03Spent like social security, like it's not a sustainable way of taking care of
- 29:11future generations because people
- 29:13are spending it, pouring money in where they're not going to see it,
- 29:17see that at all, you know, like, and Trump has made it clear.
- 29:20He's not going to touch social security, but I mean, there's gotta be some things
- 29:25that they're going to have to touch.
- 29:26And it's like, I mean, I'm like anybody my age and probably even younger, definitely younger.
- 29:31Like, do you actually think you're going to see social security when
- 29:35you get old that's where i think it's like the
- 29:38the generations before us they just they they just took they just they just
- 29:44took it you know they just took it and they kind of left a lot of the younger
- 29:48generations basically hung out to dry and i know it's not if i talk to an older
- 29:55person like even like people that i know that are older.
- 29:58Them personally, it's not them doing it.
- 30:01It's basically, it's the system that was put in place. So it's not anybody individual,
- 30:06you know, my generation and the generations before me would do the exact same
- 30:10thing based on the system that was put in place.
- 30:14But I think it's great that we have people that are a part of like the,
- 30:20like the, that are in power now that actually want to fix it,
- 30:24that are the older ones in the room.
- 30:27You know, Donald Trump, he's not a spry young cat anymore.
- 30:30J.D. Vance, I mean, he's basically, he's a little bit older than me.
- 30:36And so he's on my level, you know, he's definitely a lot higher level in a lot
- 30:42of ways, you know, but we come from the same kind of era.
- 30:48So there is a possibility to right the ship.
- 30:52That's what I I believe. And I think it's great that people that are in high
- 30:56power right now, that they're actually wanting to do that.
- 30:59They're actually wanting to do that. And I think it's a possibility.
- 31:02I mean, because this all ties in, you know, all roads lead to Rome,
- 31:08all roads come converge somewhere and all roads make sense overall.
- 31:13When we, when we actually fully follow them to their logical conclusion that
- 31:18the spending has to stop the spending, like blank check, just giving,
- 31:26countries and just foreign aid that we do, we just, just give,
- 31:31why are we giving money to everywhere so that we can have something that we
- 31:36can take away from them if they don't act the way that we want?
- 31:41Overall, it's got to stop. And I think, I think with the new administration
- 31:45coming it, they're, they're basically, they're clearly not doing the,
- 31:48it's not the same stuff that previous administrations have done.
- 31:52And I know that's why a lot of people are getting upset, you know,
- 31:56Zelensky included. He's not happy about it at all.
