Can you say that? Luna: 橢圓形. Hmm, that's a mouthful. 橢圓形. Lucas: Good! Let's break it down: '橢' sounds like 'to', '圓' is 'yuen', '形' is 'ying'. Together: 'to yuen ying'. Now try: 呢個係橢圓形 — this is an oval. Luna: 呢個係橢圓形. 呢個係橢圓形. Got it. Lucas: Nice. Now, what's a common thing that's oval? An egg! So: '個蛋係橢圓形' — the egg is oval. Luna: 個蛋係橢圓形. That's easy to remember. Lucas: Now the second shape: '長方形' — rectangle. '長' means long, '方' means square, '形' is shape. So rectangle is 'long square shape'. Luna: 長方形. 長方形. I can do that.
