- 0:00Speaker 1: It's John Jay and Rich. Kyle, you have an update
- 0:04Speaker 1: on your neighbor story? I keep thinking about that. I
- 0:06Speaker 1: remember that one neighbor you guys shared a wall with
- 0:08Speaker 1: that complained about everything with you guys.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 0:11Speaker 3: The balls went over the fence and he'd get pissed.
- 0:12Speaker 4: Yeah, no, he didn't like our basketball hoop because it
- 0:14Speaker 4: blocked his view of the mountain. And so he planted
- 0:19Speaker 4: trees all along our fence to block our whole entire yard,
- 0:24Speaker 4: which was fine because I think the trees are really pretty,
- 0:26Speaker 4: but they are kind of annoying. Like his trees go
- 0:29Speaker 4: over our, like over our fence part and they drop
- 0:32Speaker 4: all of these like leaves and stuff like that.
- 0:34Speaker 5: So now we just have all these leaves in our
- 0:35Speaker 5: yard all the time.
- 0:36Speaker 4: And if it weren't for the drama before where he
- 0:39Speaker 4: got so mad, I mean, he literally like hired a
- 0:41Speaker 4: lawyer to go to the HOA to complain about our
- 0:43Speaker 4: basketball hoop.
- 0:44Speaker 5: If it weren't for, After all that.
- 0:45Speaker 4: I think it would be fine, but now every time
- 0:48Speaker 4: I go in my backyard and I see his leaves
- 0:50Speaker 4: in our yard, I'm like, stupid neighbor. But I feel
- 0:55Speaker 4: like I'm not the only person that has neighbor problems,
- 0:56Speaker 4: because then I got stuck on this Reddit thread, and
- 0:59Speaker 4: I just started laughing and laughing, because all these people
- 1:01Speaker 4: are just venting, We would love to hear you vent
- 1:04Speaker 4: if you want to vent to us about your neighbor
- 1:06Speaker 4: issues because it kind of makes you feel a little
- 1:08Speaker 4: less alone. I was dying laughing because this person was
- 1:12Speaker 4: like complaining about how they got irritated that their neighbor
- 1:16Speaker 4: used a leaf blower a lot. And then they bought
- 1:19Speaker 4: their kids toy leaf blowers. So it's like, I was already.
- 1:23Speaker 3: Annoyed at the leaf boiler.
- 1:24Speaker 4: Now I have to listen to the kid one on
- 1:27Speaker 4: off landscape days. Then another person was like, somebody said
- 1:30Speaker 4: their neighbor's like entire driveway is empty. Their driveway is
- 1:34Speaker 4: empty in front of their house is empty. But whenever
- 1:36Speaker 4: they have people over the people park in front of
- 1:38Speaker 4: their house. and they're like they're like i don't know
- 1:41Speaker 4: why i know it's petty i know i shouldn't care
- 1:44Speaker 4: because it's not bought like really bothering me but it
- 1:45Speaker 4: drives me absolutely insane and then there was this other
- 1:49Speaker 4: guy i don't i don't understand this or if they
- 1:51Speaker 4: had past beef or something like that but this other
- 1:54Speaker 4: guy's like really irritated because he's like every time i
- 1:56Speaker 4: mowed my lawn no matter what the guy across the
- 1:58Speaker 4: street gets out his lawnmower and starts mowing his lawn
- 2:01Speaker 4: and he's like I originally did it Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- 2:04Speaker 4: So I felt like he started to get to know
- 2:06Speaker 4: my schedule. So then I started doing on like Monday
- 2:08Speaker 4: and Wednesdays. And sure enough, the guy would pull out more.
- 2:10Speaker 4: The guy ran out there.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Jeannie, you have an annoying neighbor story.
- 2:19Speaker 6: Whoa. Uh, yeah, unfortunately I do.
- 2:24Speaker 3: How annoying? Tell us.
- 2:26Speaker 6: Um, he's a peach. Um, So our community is about
- 2:30Speaker 6: five years old or so, and there's a house behind
- 2:34Speaker 6: us that stood empty for a while like it was unfinished.
- 2:37Speaker 6: And then when our neighbor moved in, he apparently makes
- 2:43Speaker 6: phone calls to the Philippines around two in the morning,
- 2:47Speaker 6: and that would set our dog off. He's a Westie
- 2:52Speaker 6: Terrier mix.
- 2:53Speaker 3: Is he racist against the Filipinos?
- 2:55Speaker 6: What? Yeah. So that would set the dog off because
- 3:02Speaker 6: in the middle of the night, he's hearing people on
- 3:04Speaker 6: the other side of the fence, and their elevation is
- 3:08Speaker 6: a little bit taller or higher than ours, so the
- 3:11Speaker 6: guy can look over our fence with ease. And he
- 3:14Speaker 6: would bark back at our dog, and neighbors have said
- 3:17Speaker 6: that they saw him feeding him when we weren't home,
- 3:22Speaker 6: so God knows what was laced with that.
- 3:24Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 3:25Speaker 6: And then he started.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Our.
- 3:27Speaker 6: Dog came in one day or in the morning, and
- 3:29Speaker 6: I bent over to pet him, and he was all wet.
- 3:33Speaker 6: And that's when I found out that he was turning
- 3:35Speaker 6: the hose on our dog.
- 3:37Speaker 3: Oh, that's just mean.
- 3:40Speaker 6: So I consider that assault. So I contacted the sheriff's
- 3:44Speaker 6: department to let them know what this guy was doing.
- 3:47Speaker 6: And I fear for our dog, you know. And since
- 3:53Speaker 6: he started doing that, we keep him locked up at night. And, um,
- 3:57Speaker 6: sometimes in the morning when my husband lets them out,
- 3:59Speaker 6: we're early risers and he'll forget to put the flight
- 4:03Speaker 6: in the doggy door. And so if the guy comes out,
- 4:06Speaker 6: dogs have very good memories, you know, and, um, but
- 4:10Speaker 6: the guy started, um, posing down the dog with even
- 4:13Speaker 6: a stronger nozzle that would hit our patio. So the
- 4:17Speaker 6: patio was getting wet. And so the The officer told
- 4:21Speaker 6: me that I needed proof, you know, picture proof. So
- 4:24Speaker 6: I turned on my phone to film the guy, but
- 4:27Speaker 6: he had installed a floodlight so all you get is
- 4:31Speaker 6: a silhouette of his face. So I still have that video,
- 4:36Speaker 6: but when I told him that he was a case number,
- 4:40Speaker 6: you know, with the sheriff's department, he's kind of backed
- 4:42Speaker 6: off now.
- 4:43Speaker 5: But he's still... is there.
- 4:45Speaker 3: Good move. Good move. Okay. Annoying neighbors. Thank you, Brittany. Brittany,
- 4:50Speaker 3: you have an annoying neighbor story.
- 4:53Speaker 5: Oh yeah.
- 4:54Speaker 3: What do you got?
- 4:55Speaker 6: Uh, well, it's like an everyday thing.
- 4:57Speaker 2: So it's not just one story, but it sounds like
- 4:59Speaker 2: they're like in a marching band without the music.
- 5:02Speaker 5: Um, so they're.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Constantly like stomping and without going into too much detail,
- 5:05Speaker 2: you can literally hear everything. And when I say everything
- 5:09Speaker 2: as adults can use our imagination, I mean everything.
- 5:12Speaker 5: Oh, Oh, really?
- 5:13Speaker 6: Ew.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Like brushing their teeth?
- 5:14Speaker 6: Oh, yes.
- 5:14Speaker 5: And they're stomping while they're doing that? Yeah, brushing their teeth.
- 5:17Speaker 5: What do they do when they're stomping?
- 5:18Speaker 3: I don't know if it's owls are doing it.
- 5:20Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:21Speaker 5: It's so that's spell it, but it's all day.
- 5:22Speaker 6: Every day, like stomping, and then at nighttime, different noises
- 5:28Speaker 6: than stomping.
- 5:28Speaker 3: Maybe they're just running around in flip-flops.
- 5:30Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 5:31Speaker 5: They might be. I don't know. But yeah, it's been
- 5:35Speaker 5: quite an adventure. Well, maybe something gets them in the mood.
- 5:37Speaker 3: That's annoying. It might.
- 5:39Speaker 6: Maybe they stop in the day and then do their
- 5:42Speaker 6: thing at night. I don't know.
- 5:43Speaker 5: Sounds like a pretty good life to me.
- 5:44Speaker 3: Raina, you have an annoying neighbor story.
- 5:48Speaker 2: My neighbor uses my driveway to back up every single morning.
- 5:52Speaker 2: And yesterday I finally had had enough. And so I
- 5:56Speaker 2: ran out and I told him to knock it off. Um,
- 5:59Speaker 2: so we start arguing and I'm standing there, you know,
- 6:03Speaker 2: telling him, use your own driveway. And the psycho looks
- 6:07Speaker 2: me dead in the face, throws his car in reverse
- 6:10Speaker 2: and hits me on purpose.
- 6:12Speaker 4: Oh my gosh.
- 6:14Speaker 5: Are you okay? Yes.
- 6:17Speaker 2: It was, it was crazy.
- 6:18Speaker 6: I'm fine.
- 6:20Speaker 2: But that is like, it's war now.
- 6:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:24Speaker 6: Obviously.
- 6:24Speaker 5: Do you have a recap of that?
- 6:27Speaker 2: I bought, Oh, unfortunately, no, we don't have a ring camera.
- 6:32Speaker 2: But I think that that will work in my favor
- 6:35Speaker 2: because I bought 40 rolls of toilet paper yesterday. And
- 6:39Speaker 2: this weekend, my kids and I are going to TP
- 6:41Speaker 2: his house because it's supposed to rain.
- 6:45Speaker 5: That is war.
- 6:46Speaker 3: He almost killed you. He almost killed you.
- 6:50Speaker 4: I thought you were going to put nails or something
- 6:53Speaker 4: face up on your driveway so next time he comes in.
- 6:56Speaker 5: You need to talk to Kyle for revenge. Here's a
- 7:00Speaker 5: fun little party trick. Then he's going to think somebody
- 7:03Speaker 5: in high school likes him.
- 7:07Speaker 6: I'm so ready. Yeah.
- 7:09Speaker 3: So you're bothered by him backing into your driveway?
- 7:11Speaker 1: I mean, if he's got a truck, I could see
- 7:12Speaker 1: that being something he does every day because that's how
- 7:14Speaker 1: he has to get out.
- 7:15Speaker 3: Is that so bad?
- 7:17Speaker 2: He has his own driveway. I don't know why he
- 7:20Speaker 2: doesn't use his. That would be annoying.
- 7:23Speaker 3: I get it.
- 7:23Speaker 5: It'd be okay until it ran into you.
- 7:25Speaker 3: What if he has an oil leak, you know, and
- 7:27Speaker 3: then that's all in your driveway? No, that would be bad. Yeah,
- 7:28Speaker 3: that would be bad.
- 7:29Speaker 5: And he ran her over. Right. And he hit her
- 7:32Speaker 5: with his car.
- 7:33Speaker 3: Yeah, no, that's what I'm saying. That part was bad, too.
- 7:35Speaker 3: But she went out there to confront him.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Stop, drive, pull out of my driveway. I remember when
- 7:38Speaker 1: I was a kid and my parents would go... pull
- 7:41Speaker 1: into someone's driveway to back out like that, I would
- 7:43Speaker 1: get so sick to my stomach that the neighbors are
- 7:44Speaker 1: going to come out, you know, and I felt that anger,
- 7:46Speaker 1: that anxiety, but I can't see it.
- 7:48Speaker 3: Now, as an adult, I think there's peace with it.
- 7:51Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Pulling out of the driveway.
- 7:52Speaker 5: Takes a second, then they're gone. Yeah.
- 7:54Speaker 3: But anyway, Raina, glad you're okay, unless you're calling us
- 7:56Speaker 3: from the hospital.
- 7:57Speaker 6: No, I'm not.
- 7:58Speaker 2: I'm not. I am okay, but it's war now.
- 8:00Speaker 3: All right. Well, good luck. Thanks for calling in.
- 8:04Speaker 4: Thanks.
- 8:05Speaker 3: Annoying neighbors, if you've got a story, call us.
- 8:06Speaker 6: 877-937-1047.
- 8:09Speaker 5: On the way in less than 30 minutes.
- 8:11Speaker 3: A giant black thong came out of our dog, and
- 8:15Speaker 3: unless I.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Magically grew an ass overnight, it is definitely not f *.
- 8:18Speaker 3: * * ing mine. I have no idea, Denise, what
- 8:21Speaker 3: you're talking about.
