  Speaker 1: you to join along with me in prayer. You know,

  Speaker 1: sometimes we just need to trust God with our life
• 0:11
  Speaker 1: and with our plans and with our future because we
• 0:13
  Speaker 1: get overwhelmed when we look at our current circumstance and
• 0:17
  Speaker 1: think about where we're trying to go. to get to
• 0:19
  Speaker 1: our goals. Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ,
• 0:23
  Speaker 1: we come before you today with an open heart, surrendering
• 0:26
  Speaker 1: our lives, our plans, our dreams, and our future to
• 0:29
  Speaker 1: your hands. Lord, sometimes we try to figure everything out
• 0:32
  Speaker 1: and we want to know what's next. We want to
• 0:34
  Speaker 1: know how things will work out. We want to know
• 0:36
  Speaker 1: when the blessings will come, when the doors are going
• 0:38
  Speaker 1: to open, when the answers will arrive. But today, Father,
• 0:41
  Speaker 1: you are reminding us that we don't have to know
• 0:43
  Speaker 1: everything about our future. to trust the one who holds
• 0:46
  Speaker 1: our future. Your word says in Proverbs 3, 5 and 6,
• 0:49
  Speaker 1: trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean
• 0:52
  Speaker 1: not unto thine own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge
• 0:55
  Speaker 1: him and he will direct your path. So Lord, today
• 0:58
  Speaker 1: we surrender our understanding. We surrender our timeline. We surrender
• 1:02
  Speaker 1: our expectations. We surrender our need to control every detail. Lord,
• 1:06
  Speaker 1: we trust you with our lives. We trust you with
• 1:08
  Speaker 1: the parts of our story that don't make sense right now.

  Speaker 1: We trust you with the disappointments we never expected. We
• 1:14
  Speaker 1: trust you with the dreams that seem delayed. We trust
• 1:16
  Speaker 1: you with the doors that close, the new opportunities that
• 1:19
  Speaker 1: we missed, the things that we wish had turned out
• 1:22
  Speaker 1: a different way. Father, help us. Believe that a closed
• 1:25
  Speaker 1: door does not mean you've abandoned us. A delay does
• 1:28
  Speaker 1: not mean you've forgotten about us. And a season of
• 1:30
  Speaker 1: uncertainty does not mean you stop working. Even when we
• 1:33
  Speaker 1: can't trace your hand, God, help us to trust your heart. Lord,

  Speaker 1: we don't know what tomorrow holds, but we know you're
• 1:39
  Speaker 1: already there. We don't know what challenges we may face,

  Speaker 1: but we know that you will give us grace for

  Speaker 1: each day. We don't know how every need will be met,

  Speaker 1: but we do know that you are our source. You

  Speaker 1: are our provider. We don't know which direction our life

  Speaker 1: will take, but we... ask you lord order our steps

  Speaker 1: in your word and in your way father protect us

  Speaker 1: from making decisions out of fear out of desperation out

  Speaker 1: of impatience or the pressure to keep up with everybody
• 2:03
  Speaker 1: else help us to recognize that our journey does not
• 2:06
  Speaker 1: have to look like anyone else's journey what you have
• 2:09
  Speaker 1: for us does not require us to become somebody else Oh, God,
• 2:13
  Speaker 1: give us patience when we have to wait. Give us
• 2:15
  Speaker 1: courage when we have to move. Give us discernment when
• 2:19
  Speaker 1: we have choices to make. And give us humility, God,
• 2:21
  Speaker 1: to accept your direction even when it differs from our plans. Lord,
• 2:25
  Speaker 1: bless the work of our hands. Prepare us for the
• 2:28
  Speaker 1: opportunities that you place before us. Develop our character while
• 2:31
  Speaker 1: we wait for the things we desire. And God, let
• 2:33
  Speaker 1: us become the people who can responsibly carry blessings that
• 2:37
  Speaker 1: we're praying for in Wednesday. Fear tries to say that
• 2:40
  Speaker 1: everything is going wrong. God, let us be reminded that
• 2:43
  Speaker 1: you are with us and we never face any situation
• 2:46
  Speaker 1: or problem alone. Father, we trust you with our family.
• 2:49
  Speaker 1: We trust you with our health. We trust you with
• 2:50
  Speaker 1: our finances, our relationships, our purpose, and our future. And
• 2:54
  Speaker 1: even when we don't understand your timing, God, we choose
• 2:57
  Speaker 1: to believe that you are faithful. Lord, let our confidence
• 3:00
  Speaker 1: be rooted not in the certainty of circumstances or the
• 3:03
  Speaker 1: certainty of people, but the certainty of who you are,
• 3:06
  Speaker 1: your presence, God. You remind us in your word in
• 3:09
  Speaker 1: Jeremiah 29, 11, that you know the plans that you
• 3:12
  Speaker 1: have for us, plans for peace and a future with
• 3:15
  Speaker 1: a hope. Help us to walk in that hope while
• 3:18
  Speaker 1: also giving us wisdom to make responsible choices each and
• 3:21
  Speaker 1: every day. So, Father, we place our lives in your hand.
• 3:23
  Speaker 1: Lead us, guide us, correct us, strengthen us, prepare us,
• 3:26
  Speaker 1: use us, God. And wherever you lead, give us the
• 3:29
  Speaker 1: courage to follow. We don't need to see the entire staircase.
• 3:32
  Speaker 1: We just need the faith to take the next step. So, God,
• 3:35
  Speaker 1: our future is not something we have to fear because
• 3:37
  Speaker 1: we can face it with you in the name of Jesus. Amen, amen,
