- 0:05Speaker 1: NFL Now is a production of the NFL in partnership
- 0:08Speaker 1: with I Heart Radio. It's a Monday time to overreact
- 0:19Speaker 1: as always here on NFL Now, NFL Network, looking back
- 0:23Speaker 1: to last night's game, yesterday's crazy finishes, and looking ahead
- 0:28Speaker 1: to tonight Monday night in Santa Clara, Andrew Siciliano, Steve White,
- 0:33Speaker 1: thank you for being here as always. Coming up, what
- 0:36Speaker 1: player decided to run to the bathroom with the use
- 0:40Speaker 1: of the cart. We're gonna leave that right there, because
- 0:44Speaker 1: that was a hell of a teeth right it. I mean,
- 0:47Speaker 1: I'm not mad at you. I'm not mad at you.
- 0:49Speaker 1: And coaching news as well, hot seats already, although I
- 0:52Speaker 1: hate to use that phrase. Good highlights coming up shortly.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Let's get some news, however, on a serious note, right
- 0:59Speaker 1: out of the gate, with the interapt import and Tom
- 1:01Speaker 1: Pella Sero our insiders here as we lead off this
- 1:05Speaker 1: hour with quarterback news, Tom quarterback news that came down
- 1:08Speaker 1: within the last thirty minutes out of Miami, where we
- 1:11Speaker 1: have already made a decision. The Dolphins have on to
- 1:13Speaker 1: a tongue of Byla this week. That's right, Andrew, no
- 1:16Speaker 1: surprise here, but Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel says to A
- 1:18Speaker 1: Tongue of Voloa will not play this week against the Jets,
- 1:22Speaker 1: which means backup quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, the well traveled veteran,
- 1:26Speaker 1: will be starting in Tongue Vola's place at this point
- 1:29Speaker 1: to a still in the concussion protocol following the injury
- 1:33Speaker 1: that he suffered last Thursday night in Cincinnati. This course
- 1:36Speaker 1: also comes against the backdrop of a lot of other
- 1:39Speaker 1: things going on between the NFL and the NFL p A.
- 1:42Speaker 1: The NFL p A initiated an investigation that is now
- 1:44Speaker 1: being conducted jointly to A is expected to speak with
- 1:47Speaker 1: those investigators this week. The n f L p A
- 1:50Speaker 1: has already terminated the unaffiliated neurotrauma consultant who is a
- 1:54Speaker 1: part of that concussion check with TA and I in
- 1:57Speaker 1: The union and league also still finalizing updated protocols that
- 2:02Speaker 1: will address the gross motor instability loophole for lack of
- 2:06Speaker 1: a better term, that allowed the doctors to determine to
- 2:08Speaker 1: a had a back injury, not a head injury that
- 2:11Speaker 1: caused him to stumble at a time that let's be
- 2:14Speaker 1: very clear, everyone involved continues to insist to it did
- 2:17Speaker 1: not have a concussion in that game eight days ago
- 2:21Speaker 1: against the Bills. He obviously had one on Thursday night
- 2:24Speaker 1: and has continued together further information on that injury. And
- 2:27Speaker 1: it's clear plenty plenty, plenty of caution is now being
- 2:30Speaker 1: exercise for two and talgo below and not gonna play
- 2:33Speaker 1: uh this week, and we already know that, which means
- 2:35Speaker 1: it's going to be Teddy Bridgewater. And you know, there's
- 2:38Speaker 1: a lot of reasons you sign a backup quarterback tom
- 2:40Speaker 1: and I think for the Dolphins when no one was
- 2:43Speaker 1: really sure what tool was going to be. Bridgewater has
- 2:45Speaker 1: paid a lot of money, very high backup salary to
- 2:48Speaker 1: come in and be a tremendous number two option. And
- 2:52Speaker 1: you know, it's an investment that most teams hope ends
- 2:54Speaker 1: up being a waste because you never want to see
- 2:56Speaker 1: your starter out. But the Dolphins have now is a
- 2:59Speaker 1: quarterback in Bridgewater who has plenty of experience, plenty of
- 3:03Speaker 1: starting experience, can really be put in any situation and
- 3:06Speaker 1: can go in there and more than hold his own
- 3:08Speaker 1: in an offense with you know, as much talent as
- 3:11Speaker 1: really any offense in the NFL. So obviously it is
- 3:14Speaker 1: a drop off considering how to a has been playing,
- 3:17Speaker 1: but the Dolphins have protected themselves in the event of
- 3:20Speaker 1: an injury, which unfortunately is happening now for Tua, who
- 3:25Speaker 1: you mentioned, should end up meeting with investigators early early
- 3:29Speaker 1: this week in this investigation which should end up wrapping
- 3:32Speaker 1: up within a week or so. But the headline today
- 3:34Speaker 1: Teddy Bridgewater will start Sunday against one of his former
- 3:37Speaker 1: teams here. He was a Jet for about five minutes
- 3:40Speaker 1: but traded to the Saints. Teddy Bridgewater, your Dolphins start
- 3:43Speaker 1: a week five. Teddy's also a former Bronco Tom. They
- 3:46Speaker 1: got very bad injury news this morning one of my
- 3:49Speaker 1: favorite players, and you kind of knew it when you
- 3:50Speaker 1: saw it. Javonte Williams has a long recovery ahead of them.
- 3:54Speaker 1: That's right, Andrew. Javonte Williams suffering a torn a c
- 3:57Speaker 1: L that will end his season with the Broncos. As
- 4:00Speaker 1: Ian reported also as a torn L c L and
- 4:03Speaker 1: additional damage here, So it inky recovery here for Javonte Williams,
- 4:07Speaker 1: so full expectation is he will be getting back to
- 4:10Speaker 1: full strength for the Broncos. Melvin Gordon, of course, was
- 4:13Speaker 1: resigned as the veteran to really be the number two
- 4:16Speaker 1: this season behind Javontay Williams, but he's had fumbling issues
- 4:19Speaker 1: that have been a big problem so far as Nathaniel
- 4:21Speaker 1: Hackett tries to build some momentum for that offense. They
- 4:24Speaker 1: also have Mike Boone who got quite a bit of
- 4:26Speaker 1: work in that game yesterday against the Raiders, but there
- 4:29Speaker 1: is no replacing Javontay Williams, one of the exciting players,
- 4:32Speaker 1: the physical players, breaks a ton of tackles ian that's
- 4:36Speaker 1: a big piece of that offense that they're not going
- 4:38Speaker 1: to have as again, Hackett, Russell Wilson company try to
- 4:41Speaker 1: get that thing rolling. And they're not the only team
- 4:43Speaker 1: to lose their starting running back. Darrel Patterson, the Atlanta
- 4:47Speaker 1: Falcon starting running back who has really been one of
- 4:49Speaker 1: the better stories of this year and last year to
- 4:51Speaker 1: really flashes a full time running back last year, now
- 4:54Speaker 1: out four games after being placed on injured reserve. He's
- 4:58Speaker 1: been battling a knee injury, really painful knee injury. Tried
- 5:01Speaker 1: to give it a go on Sunday, uh in the
- 5:03Speaker 1: end needing a per seizure which happened this morning. Relatively
- 5:07Speaker 1: minor procedure, so should be back right at four games
- 5:10Speaker 1: Bokadary Patterson now on I are and to fill his
- 5:14Speaker 1: roster spot. Caleb Hunley, who has impressed himself as I've
- 5:18Speaker 1: really honestly all of the Atlanta Falcons running backs as
- 5:21Speaker 1: they ran I don't know fourteen straight times on Sunday.
- 5:24Speaker 1: He has now been signed to the active roster to
- 5:27Speaker 1: take seepeak spot. Browns without Myles Garrett and Jadeveon Cloudy
- 5:30Speaker 1: knew it was coming there in the second half and
- 5:32Speaker 1: they could not stop it. Meantime, the Jonathan Taylor injury
- 5:37Speaker 1: not the only one Tom from that Colts Titans game
- 5:39Speaker 1: in indianapples, tell me about Titans rookie receiver trail On
- 5:42Speaker 1: Burk's trailing. Burke's suffering. What Ian and I report earlier
- 5:45Speaker 1: today is turf toe diagnosed after additional tests. Certainly looked
- 5:50Speaker 1: like it could have been something worse than that, but
- 5:51Speaker 1: that can be a very painful injury, a spraying, a
- 5:54Speaker 1: stretching of the ligament under your big toe. The expectation
- 5:58Speaker 1: at this point, as we tweeted, is that no surgery
- 6:01Speaker 1: is going to be required here for Burke's, but he
- 6:03Speaker 1: quite possibly is going to miss more cool games. Eventually,
- 6:06Speaker 1: could land on injured reserve. This is a big piece
- 6:09Speaker 1: of that team. We saw him have a bit of
- 6:11Speaker 1: a breakout game on Monday Night Football against the Bills
- 6:14Speaker 1: a couple of weeks ago. The guy that they drafted
- 6:16Speaker 1: with the pick to replace A. J. Brown now trailing.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Burke's not going to be on the field and they're
- 6:21Speaker 1: gonna have to find a way. At a time the
- 6:22Speaker 1: Titans seemed to be building some momentum on offense, particularly
- 6:25Speaker 1: in the first halves. How to replace the productivity they're
- 6:27Speaker 1: getting from that promising rookie. Not to be dramatic, turf
- 6:30Speaker 1: tot doesn't sound too bad for the you know, the
- 6:32Speaker 1: person sitting on the couch at home. Ask anyone who
- 6:34Speaker 1: has had it. Uh, it's bad and it takes a while.
- 6:39Speaker 1: So the Titans will be without trayl On Burks. Will
- 6:41Speaker 1: see how long that takes. Ian. We saw Brady when
- 6:44Speaker 1: he didn't see Lagarius Sneed got drilled there late in
- 6:46Speaker 1: the second quarter, going to the sideline and shaking the arm.
- 6:49Speaker 1: He seemed to be okay though in the second half.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Any details, Yeah, my understanding is Tom Brady is gonna
- 6:55Speaker 1: be okay. And you know he has played with I
- 6:57Speaker 1: would say similar injuries in the past. A little bit
- 7:00Speaker 1: of a rotator cuff deal, not believed to be major,
- 7:03Speaker 1: not believed to be something that will limit him going forward,
- 7:06Speaker 1: just really something that Tom Brady is gonna keep an
- 7:08Speaker 1: eye on. You know, we've talked about. I would say
- 7:10Speaker 1: for the last couple of weeks, the possibility or likelihood
- 7:12Speaker 1: or plan Brady taking some Wednesdays off during the season.
- 7:16Speaker 1: I would not be surprised if that happened this week.
- 7:19Speaker 1: But Tom Brady is going to be okay. And and
- 7:21Speaker 1: I would say, uh, it's nothing that will limit any
- 7:24Speaker 1: of his accuracy or strength on us. Those are really
- 7:27Speaker 1: anything long term. So nothing bad and a little bit
- 7:30Speaker 1: of good news there for Tom Brady. Okay, we're excited
- 7:32Speaker 1: for another game in London. It's the Giants and the Packers.
- 7:36Speaker 1: And what is Daniel Jones status, however, for another game
- 7:42Speaker 1: in London because he came back in UM but he
- 7:45Speaker 1: wasn't doing much and they're going wildcat. I mean they
- 7:47Speaker 1: kind of had to piece it together there down the stretch. Yeah,
- 7:50Speaker 1: Daniel Jones came back in played a little receiver while
- 7:52Speaker 1: Stake Khama was playing wildcat quarterback. Yeah. Uh, my understanding
- 7:56Speaker 1: is Daniel Jones is going to be okay long term.
- 7:59Speaker 1: It's not considered to be a major injury, just really
- 8:02Speaker 1: an anko sprain, and there is some optimism that he's
- 8:04Speaker 1: able to get back on the field on Sunday. He's
- 8:07Speaker 1: a really tough guy. He has played through a lot.
- 8:09Speaker 1: It sounds like this is one that he believes that
- 8:12Speaker 1: he can play through. And the Giants are right there
- 8:14Speaker 1: with them. They know how tough he is. Even if
- 8:16Speaker 1: it has to limit his mobility, I would say it
- 8:19Speaker 1: is not a major injury and certainly realistic to see
- 8:22Speaker 1: him on the field. Meanwhile, for Tyrod Taylor, their backup
- 8:25Speaker 1: quarterback in the concussion protocol, he may not end up
- 8:28Speaker 1: being able to be the backups, So Davis Webb, who
- 8:31Speaker 1: was on the practice squad, could end up being elevated
- 8:33Speaker 1: to sir all right, Davis Webb could be called upon
- 8:36Speaker 1: to dress Sunday, nine Eastern time in London. Tom Ian,
- 8:41Speaker 1: thank you both as promised. Let's get to some highlights.
- 8:44Speaker 1: Ravens Bills kind of sort of definitely lived up to
- 8:47Speaker 1: the building. The Bills had lost thirty nine straight games.
- 8:51Speaker 1: When trailing by seventeen, they win this one in Baltimore.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Our defense, they played outstanding. They give us a shot
- 8:58Speaker 1: on the second half. You know, our guys put their
- 9:00Speaker 1: heads down and they worked. Um, that was a that
- 9:03Speaker 1: was a tough football game by a very you know,
- 9:05Speaker 1: two tough teams. So UM, give them credit. They had
- 9:08Speaker 1: a really good plan going into it. And uh and
- 9:10Speaker 1: we just found away very confident their defense. Defense is
- 9:14Speaker 1: ability to stopping down there with the ball in the
- 9:15Speaker 1: two yard line, so we got him backed up if
- 9:17Speaker 1: we don't get it. Didn't turn out that way, unfortunately,
- 9:19Speaker 1: and we lost the game. So hindsight, you can take
- 9:22Speaker 1: the points. But if you look at it analytically, I
- 9:26Speaker 1: understand why we did it. I was fine with it,
- 9:28Speaker 1: you know, because we would have executed that. We just
- 9:30Speaker 1: want to turn down that one. And you no question
- 9:33Speaker 1: right now, No nobody want to be disappointed. Next time.
- 9:37Speaker 1: We'll get it, all right, Lamar Jackson, either Garady Lamar
- 9:41Speaker 1: Jackson says what everyone says. Hey, if it worked, you
- 9:44Speaker 1: guys wouldn't be complaining like it didn't work. Obviously. You
- 9:48Speaker 1: pointed out earlier, Mike that Lamar missed a couple of
- 9:50Speaker 1: guys who could have been opened before forcing it there
- 9:52Speaker 1: to the back of the corner. He had to. But Steve,
- 9:54Speaker 1: where do you stand. You have the best kicker in
- 9:58Speaker 1: the history of the game. It is an automatic three
- 10:00Speaker 1: pretty much any kicker automatic three. From that point, why
- 10:04Speaker 1: not take the lead? Well, there, you take the lead.
- 10:07Speaker 1: You I mean, you kick it. You see the length
- 10:09Speaker 1: of the game, the amount of time. Okay, Buffalo is
- 10:10Speaker 1: getting the ball back one way or another. That's why
- 10:13Speaker 1: you have to get points right there. I mean again,
- 10:15Speaker 1: I understand why they did it. They had a long drive,
- 10:18Speaker 1: they made some plays, but the field was condensed. The
- 10:21Speaker 1: three previous plays did not go well. This is where
- 10:24Speaker 1: you get the points. And there's just a lot of
- 10:26Speaker 1: questionable things that happened at the end of this game.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Because as Buffalo came down and drove down the field, MIC,
- 10:32Speaker 1: you saw most there as they were about to score.
- 10:36Speaker 1: A lot of Ravens defenders. We're trying to to let
- 10:40Speaker 1: Singletary get into the end zone, but then they tackle
- 10:43Speaker 1: him before the end zone. You see other defenders raised
- 10:45Speaker 1: their hands like, dude, we were supposed to let him score.
- 10:47Speaker 1: O dat always said that he decided in the moment,
- 10:52Speaker 1: I think I can strip it. Well, okay, that blew
- 10:56Speaker 1: up but maybe that that's what led to the Marcus
- 10:57Speaker 1: Peters confrontation with John Harbaugh Mike. But again for the
- 11:01Speaker 1: for the Ravens, the second time they have unraveled like this.
- 11:04Speaker 1: No points offensively in the second half here, only ten
- 11:07Speaker 1: when they blew the big lead to Miami, and Miami
- 11:10Speaker 1: score thirty five. So they've got some things that absolutely
- 11:13Speaker 1: have to clean up. But this is still a very
- 11:15Speaker 1: very good team. Yeah they are. And I look, I
- 11:19Speaker 1: still put it. You say take the points, and like
- 11:21Speaker 1: I said at the beginning of this, I'm gonna take
- 11:23Speaker 1: the points guy. But that's how they've operated. And there's
- 11:25Speaker 1: defensively they had ninety whatever they couldn't stop and makeup play.
- 11:30Speaker 1: They just can't seem to make a play when they
- 11:32Speaker 1: needed most. And don't forget it wasn't just Josh Allen
- 11:35Speaker 1: running through them this week. The week before, it was
- 11:38Speaker 1: Mac Jones. Mac Jones had some big scrambles for big
- 11:40Speaker 1: yards in that game. I mean, that's that's just that
- 11:43Speaker 1: can't happen. Andrew he did it. And and you know,
- 11:45Speaker 1: Josh Allen is well many times the athlete that Mac
- 11:49Speaker 1: Jones is. So you give him space and he's gonna
- 11:51Speaker 1: do the same thing. They just they stopped the run,
- 11:53Speaker 1: but they couldn't stop Josh running, and they couldn't stop
- 11:56Speaker 1: Josh throwing when they needed too, because obviously that first
- 11:59Speaker 1: half they controlled the temple of that football game. So
- 12:01Speaker 1: many teams here and not just the Ravens, a tale
- 12:04Speaker 1: of two different has Baltimore could not close this thing out,
- 12:08Speaker 1: just like they couldn't a couple of weeks ago against Miami.
- 12:12Speaker 1: I do kind of I mean, throw the analytics out.
- 12:14Speaker 1: I get the logic here. Make them go the length
- 12:17Speaker 1: of the field and if we kick the three, then
- 12:21Speaker 1: we kick off. They get the benefit of a minimum
- 12:23Speaker 1: of twenty five yards on a touchback, and then it's
- 12:25Speaker 1: a short field to line up for a potential tying
- 12:28Speaker 1: field goal, tying, tying I understand it. It didn't work.
- 12:34Speaker 1: La Mark Jackson sees someone open there. Maybe it does,
- 12:37Speaker 1: all right, and they Marlon Humphrey, Chuck Clark, Marcus Williams,
- 12:42Speaker 1: Marcus Peters, there's guys, somebody make a play, make a play.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Coming up back to what we saw the field yesterday
- 12:48Speaker 1: from the Philadelphia Eagle was the only remaining undefeated four
- 12:52Speaker 1: O team the National Football League was tested yesterday they
- 12:57Speaker 1: ran right through that test. Nothing can stop me. All right, Well,
- 13:08Speaker 1: it's kind of a cool scene yesterday. Doug Peterson back
- 13:11Speaker 1: in Philadelphia, porn rain warm ovation. I love that Billy fans.
- 13:15Speaker 1: There you go. And his team got out to the
- 13:16Speaker 1: Big four team, nothing lead, and then the Eagles took over.
- 13:20Speaker 1: The defense took over. Tever Lawrence turned it over five times,
- 13:23Speaker 1: including four lost bumbles. That's the most for any player
- 13:27Speaker 1: in any game as far back as we can search,
- 13:29Speaker 1: which is ninety one. Miles Sanders scored a couple of touchdowns. Sorry, Doug.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Eagles still undefeated. But it was a cool day. You know.
- 13:38Speaker 1: It's just the fact that you're you're looking a little
- 13:40Speaker 1: different perspective but on the other sideline. But you know,
- 13:43Speaker 1: obviously spent a lot of time in that stadium, and um,
- 13:46Speaker 1: you know, fans were great today as expected, and um,
- 13:50Speaker 1: you know, just unfortunate for us you lose the game.
- 13:53Speaker 1: It's not it's not it's not fun, but I mean,
- 13:55Speaker 1: obviously it's more frustrating when, um, when you personally didn't
- 14:00Speaker 1: play well and had a lot of opportunities and kind
- 14:03Speaker 1: of um just didn't take a manage of them, you know,
- 14:05Speaker 1: turn the ball over way too much. Not really gonna
- 14:08Speaker 1: win any games turning it over five times and UM,
- 14:11Speaker 1: so yeah, it's really really frustrating, disappointing. Um, but we
- 14:15Speaker 1: gotta have a short memory, just like we do when
- 14:16Speaker 1: we win a fourteen oh down fourteen oh. You control
- 14:20Speaker 1: what you can, Um, do your job, execute, dominates your
- 14:25Speaker 1: box individually. Um. You tend to do good, good things. UM.
- 14:30Speaker 1: And I think today this team didn't flint. Um, we
- 14:34Speaker 1: found a way. That's a sharp dressed young man right there.
- 14:38Speaker 1: Jalon Hurts and the Eagles for four and oh Philadelphia.
- 14:40Speaker 1: From the last seven games that Jalon Hurts has started
- 14:42Speaker 1: at quarterback going back to last year, they are undefeated
- 14:46Speaker 1: through four four and oh for the first time since
- 14:48Speaker 1: old four Steve when they actually lost in Jacksonville in
- 14:53Speaker 1: the Super Bowl Super Bowl thirty nine. They were thirteen
- 14:57Speaker 1: and three that year. The schedule sets up nicely. What
- 14:59Speaker 1: stands out to you about yesterday, Hey, they're they're starting
- 15:02Speaker 1: to answer a lot of questions. I mean, look, the
- 15:03Speaker 1: fact that they came back from fourteen out early hasanritick
- 15:07Speaker 1: on defense was an absolute terror. And then the way
- 15:09Speaker 1: they just dominated physically in bad weather, right because we
- 15:12Speaker 1: know when Philadelphia and the NFC East up in that region,
- 15:15Speaker 1: they're gonna be playing in bad weather. They ran the ball,
- 15:18Speaker 1: they took a part of defense which entered as the
- 15:20Speaker 1: top rushing defense in the NFL. Miles Sanders would absolutely
- 15:23Speaker 1: bananas with a hundred forty four. The offensive line, I mean,
- 15:27Speaker 1: we can't talk about this offensive line enough. Look at
- 15:30Speaker 1: the blocking right there for Sanders. The physicality again, that
- 15:33Speaker 1: is not a chump change front that they were going
- 15:35Speaker 1: up against, and they handled them. And then on the
- 15:38Speaker 1: other side of the ball to get the four forced
- 15:40Speaker 1: fumbles from Trevor Lawrence and get the pick. Just just
- 15:44Speaker 1: a complete effort against a much better Jacksonvile team. I mean, look,
- 15:47Speaker 1: you look at the domination that the Eagles had, thirty
- 15:50Speaker 1: one more offensive plays almost twice a time of possession
- 15:53Speaker 1: associates a one possession game. That goes to show you
- 15:55Speaker 1: that these again are not the Jags that we used
- 15:58Speaker 1: to know. But Philadelphia is put together and built to
- 16:01Speaker 1: win in these bad weather climates and these good weather climates.
- 16:04Speaker 1: They can at the explosive plays and play a physical
- 16:07Speaker 1: style of aball. This was an emotional game here, right,
- 16:09Speaker 1: It was kind of a test for the Jaguars there
- 16:11Speaker 1: two and one, Doug Peterson's coming back home. You saw
- 16:14Speaker 1: the cool scenes there with Hurts, with Kelsey, afterwards with Peterson.
- 16:18Speaker 1: They love the guy. Dougs teams out to the fourteen
- 16:21Speaker 1: nothing lead Andre Cisco Syracuse pick six like it looks
- 16:25Speaker 1: as if everything's going Jacksonville's way. But that guy we
- 16:28Speaker 1: saw with a good looking suit there kept a calm.
- 16:31Speaker 1: They dominated time of possession and their four and oh
- 16:34Speaker 1: now heading to Arizona coming up on Sunday. But let's
- 16:39Speaker 1: not forget about the Cowboys now, the contractually obligated Dallas
- 16:42Speaker 1: Cowboys portion of our broadcast day I kid Um Cooper
- 16:45Speaker 1: rush is still doing it with Dak potentially maybe back
- 16:49Speaker 1: this week, but unlikely. Cooper Rushkin's making plays and great
- 16:52Speaker 1: to see Michael Gallop Gallop back. Extend the play hit
- 16:54Speaker 1: Gallop on their Gallup runs through the route, a fantastic
- 16:58Speaker 1: play by the Cowboy. Mike McCarthy pumps his fists and
- 17:01Speaker 1: we fast forward to the fourth quarter. Washington is hanging around,
- 17:04Speaker 1: but see the lamb could still be running up the
- 17:06Speaker 1: tunnel if he wanted to. Cowboys have now won eight
- 17:09Speaker 1: straight in the division and the defense and big part
- 17:11Speaker 1: of it for the reason we're winning. I mean, it's
- 17:14Speaker 1: just playing simple. Those guys, I mean ten points in
- 17:17Speaker 1: the NFL's pretty impressive, and we gave them. I mean
- 17:21Speaker 1: they I think they had really good fuel position all day. UM,
- 17:25Speaker 1: and our defense just kept my end zone, kept getting
- 17:27Speaker 1: off the field. UM. As an offense, knowing that they
- 17:31Speaker 1: have your back like that and sere it's one of
- 17:33Speaker 1: their messages. We have everyone's back and UM and they
- 17:37Speaker 1: you know, they walk the walk coming up. They finally
- 17:42Speaker 1: made the switch in Pittsburgh. Is pick it a sign
- 17:46Speaker 1: of a rebuild? We'll tell you what one Steeler said
- 17:50Speaker 1: after the game, Comme it up. I don't team in
- 17:55Speaker 1: for the South that I appreciate the wood pane never
- 17:57Speaker 1: calling me, but the Nose's only two men. Mike Tomlin
- 18:02Speaker 1: had finally seen it up. At halftime yesterday. He sent
- 18:05Speaker 1: Mitch Rabisky to the bench, and he brought in Kenny Pickett,
- 18:08Speaker 1: and the crowd loved them some. Kenny Piket he ran
- 18:11Speaker 1: for two rushing touchdowns, but here in the chance to
- 18:13Speaker 1: put the game away white second of fift fourth quarter,
- 18:16Speaker 1: he throws it high for Pat Fryer mute and Michael
- 18:19Speaker 1: Carter picks it off. Yeah, and that's it. I mean,
- 18:21Speaker 1: he had the Jets, the opportunity, people ahead and see it,
- 18:24Speaker 1: and the Jets had life. Zack Wilson marched him down
- 18:27Speaker 1: to the field. This was originally called a fumble. It
- 18:30Speaker 1: was changed to a touchdown, a brief Paul touchdown, and
- 18:38Speaker 1: the Steelers followed one and three. Let's get the Jets credit,
- 18:42Speaker 1: but the Steelers folded one and three and back to
- 18:45Speaker 1: back years for the first time since nineteen thirty five.
- 18:49Speaker 1: Mike Tomlin, it's thought we needed a spark man. We
- 18:52Speaker 1: didn't do much UM in the first half, not enough offensively,
- 18:56Speaker 1: and you know, thought he could provide a spark for us.
- 18:59Speaker 1: Expect that decision into next week. You know, I'm not
- 19:02Speaker 1: going to talk extended as we sit here. We did
- 19:04Speaker 1: what we needed to do to put ourselves in position
- 19:06Speaker 1: to win this game, and UM would do it again.
- 19:09Speaker 1: I do not like to lose. This is not a
- 19:10Speaker 1: good feeling. I don't want it to be a familiar feeling.
- 19:13Speaker 1: So I definitely want to get back out there and
- 19:15Speaker 1: get a victory, um, you know, and get us back
- 19:17Speaker 1: on track. So I think, you know a little bit
- 19:19Speaker 1: of an edge to me, Um, I want that to
- 19:22Speaker 1: rub off on everybody. I want us to be you know,
- 19:25Speaker 1: I have an attitude with us out there on the field,
- 19:26Speaker 1: So I'm excited to you're back to work. Oh the
- 19:29Speaker 1: crowd loved it, Steve Judy, crowd loved their local guy.
- 19:33Speaker 1: He's not from Pittsburgh. He played at pit Obviously, had
- 19:35Speaker 1: the two rushing touchdowns. It's a different field in the building,
- 19:38Speaker 1: but Judy, can you pick it? Also got picked off
- 19:41Speaker 1: three times and this week let me check the schedule. Oh,
- 19:44Speaker 1: they're in Buffalo. So what does Mike Tomlin do? Well,
- 19:49Speaker 1: far be it from me to tell Mike Tomlin what
- 19:51Speaker 1: to do, But I can't imagine you go back now
- 19:53Speaker 1: to Mitchell Tropiski. Tomlin said it himself. They needed to spark,
- 19:57Speaker 1: not just in the game yesterday, They've needed to spark
- 19:59Speaker 1: offensively all season. That offense has been stagnant the entire time.
- 20:04Speaker 1: And he did give them a spark in the second half.
- 20:07Speaker 1: They were five of six on third down conversions, hundred
- 20:10Speaker 1: seventy eight yards of offense. He had the two rushing touchdowns. Yes,
- 20:14Speaker 1: he had the three interceptions rookie mistakes. You hope that
- 20:17Speaker 1: he learns from those. But I can't imagine you go
- 20:20Speaker 1: backwards when the offense was near the bottom of the
- 20:23Speaker 1: league in most major categories. You are still in this.
- 20:27Speaker 1: This is not a rebuilding. They don't do rebuilt in Pittsburgh.
- 20:30Speaker 1: You're in it in that division, and I think going forward,
- 20:34Speaker 1: you give him all the reps in practice as the
- 20:36Speaker 1: starter guest. Buffalo is a very difficult opponent. But this
- 20:39Speaker 1: is why you drafted the guy in the first round, Judy,
- 20:42Speaker 1: and we knew this moment was coming at some point
- 20:45Speaker 1: during the season, and you nailed it when you said
- 20:48Speaker 1: the one thing about the Steeler's offense, they just had
- 20:50Speaker 1: no flow. They had no pop to him whatsoever. And
- 20:54Speaker 1: and the fact that they are in playoff contention. They
- 20:57Speaker 1: had to make this move. I'll playoff contention earlier, fact
- 21:00Speaker 1: that the whole division is kind of right there. They
- 21:02Speaker 1: had to make this move, and I cannot see them
- 21:05Speaker 1: going back right now. Like you said, they drafted Kenny
- 21:07Speaker 1: Picket in the first round because they knew at some
- 21:09Speaker 1: point they had to do this. They knew Mr Robinski
- 21:12Speaker 1: was a band aid. He's a mobile quarterback. He's gonna
- 21:15Speaker 1: let them open up their offense a little bit, and
- 21:17Speaker 1: he will bring some juice. He's gonna make some mistakes,
- 21:19Speaker 1: but he's probably gonna make some wild plays as well
- 21:22Speaker 1: as well. The schedule is what it is, So they
- 21:25Speaker 1: go up against Buffalo. They don't have any tape on him.
- 21:27Speaker 1: I mean, that's what they're gonna say. They got no
- 21:29Speaker 1: tape on it. So let's go see it and roll
- 21:30Speaker 1: our dice defense. You gotta step up and play. Pittsburgh
- 21:34Speaker 1: is not in a rebuild. That that no, that just
- 21:37Speaker 1: like you said, Judie, that doesn't happen in Pittsburgh. This
- 21:40Speaker 1: was going to happen. They had to make it happen,
- 21:42Speaker 1: and for some people to actually happen a little too late.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Deonte Johnson quote, obviously it's a rebuilding year end quote. Okay, however, yeah,
- 21:50Speaker 1: Jonte Johnson, Steeler wide receiver afterwards says it is no
- 21:53Speaker 1: excuse they are one in three, but has mentioned the Browns,
- 21:56Speaker 1: the Bengals, and the Ravens are all two and two,
- 22:00Speaker 1: so the division is right there, Judy. The Jets are
- 22:03Speaker 1: also two and two, and they did something yesterday that
- 22:06Speaker 1: they had not done in seven years. They won consecutive
- 22:11Speaker 1: road games, fifty straight road games. They had gone without
- 22:16Speaker 1: winning back to back road games. Talk about a team
- 22:21Speaker 1: that needed a spark, right I mean, and Zach Wilson
- 22:24Speaker 1: finally making his appearance this season gave them the spark
- 22:27Speaker 1: they needed. He was not great in the first three quarters.
- 22:30Speaker 1: He was kind of up and down. He did catch
- 22:32Speaker 1: that touchdown pass, which was pretty awesome. But in the
- 22:35Speaker 1: fourth quarter he was everything they hoped Zach Wilson could be.
- 22:39Speaker 1: Completed ten of twelve passes, led them on the two
- 22:43Speaker 1: long touchdown scoring drives to bring them from a ten
- 22:46Speaker 1: point deficit in Pittsburgh. That's nothing to see. That really
- 22:49Speaker 1: tremendous effort from him. You'll love to hear the stories
- 22:51Speaker 1: from the huddle. Breese Hall told reporters afterwards that on
- 22:54Speaker 1: that last scoring drive, Zach Wilson got in the huddle
- 22:56Speaker 1: and said, let's score an Ethan touchdown. I was with
- 22:59Speaker 1: them during training camp, and I remember Robert Sala telling
- 23:02Speaker 1: me they loved the more vocal leadership that's Wilson was developing.
- 23:06Speaker 1: That's what they need at the New York Jets. That's
- 23:07Speaker 1: what he gave them yesterday. Lots of excitement around the
- 23:11Speaker 1: New York Jets right now. Zach Wilson also caught a
- 23:13Speaker 1: touchdown in the first half. They ran a Philly special
- 23:16Speaker 1: or maybe a Pittsburgh special, call of what you may.
- 23:19Speaker 1: And he said that when he saw them flowing the
- 23:21Speaker 1: other way, he knew he had the score because quote,
- 23:23Speaker 1: I have the best hands on the team something like that.
- 23:27Speaker 1: So Swaggy's act. Jets went again. And now the Jets,
- 23:31Speaker 1: what are the Jets do? They go home and they
- 23:32Speaker 1: get the Dolphins. That one's going to be interesting. Okay, guys,
- 23:35Speaker 1: I mentioned the Ravens. Let's do that game, because the
- 23:38Speaker 1: Ravens did it again. They blew another leave. Lamar Jackson
- 23:42Speaker 1: played great in the first half. Josh Allan saved his
- 23:45Speaker 1: best stuff for the second half. Will pick it up.
- 23:47Speaker 1: Third quarter. Here, the Ravens had been up to twenty
- 23:50Speaker 1: to three. Josh Allen is a bulldozer. Eleven yard touched
- 23:55Speaker 1: down all of a sudden seventeen unanswered Steve. We are
- 23:57Speaker 1: tied at twenty and then the game Kata sort of
- 23:59Speaker 1: came down to this nine minute draw. John harbog goes
- 24:02Speaker 1: Ford unforced down. I mean that you understand why because
- 24:04Speaker 1: the offer this flore and they converted a lot of
- 24:06Speaker 1: plays right there. And you've got to get the points
- 24:08Speaker 1: at this point of the game, and they don't. Jordan
- 24:10Speaker 1: player picks off Lamar Jackson, second straight drive. Plawyer picks
- 24:14Speaker 1: them off and the Ravens never got the ball back.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Alan drives them down, remember they took over inside the five,
- 24:19Speaker 1: drives them all the way down. Tyler Bass game winning
- 24:22Speaker 1: field goal twenty three to twenty Josh Allen somehow wins
- 24:27Speaker 1: John hardball. Why did it? You kick? Our defense? They
- 24:31Speaker 1: played outstanding. They give us a shot. Um the second half.
- 24:34Speaker 1: You know, our guys put their heads down, they worked. Um,
- 24:37Speaker 1: that was a that was a tough football game by
- 24:39Speaker 1: a very you know, two tough teams. So UM, give
- 24:42Speaker 1: them credit. They had a really good plan going into it.
- 24:44Speaker 1: And uh and we just found away very confident their
- 24:47Speaker 1: defense defense's ability to stop him down there with the
- 24:50Speaker 1: ball in the two yard line, so we got them
- 24:51Speaker 1: backed up if we don't get it didn't turn out
- 24:53Speaker 1: that way unfortunately, and we lost the game. So hindsight,
- 24:57Speaker 1: you can take the points, but if you look at
- 24:59Speaker 1: it analytically, I understand why we did it. I was
- 25:02Speaker 1: fine with it, you know, because we would executed that.
- 25:04Speaker 1: We disporting ties down that one and no question right, no, no,
- 25:08Speaker 1: nobody want to be disappointed. Next time we'll get it.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Can turn on your morning shows today, Hi there, Mike Giardi.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Not just good morning football and flipping around trying to
- 25:18Speaker 1: take in everything like this was the one conversation. You'll
- 25:22Speaker 1: hold the ball for nine minutes. Basically, there's only two
- 25:25Speaker 1: drives in this quarter. At essence, you have the greatest
- 25:29Speaker 1: kicker to ever put on cleats. Why don't you take
- 25:33Speaker 1: the points here? It's a great question, and I'm gonna
- 25:37Speaker 1: take the points guy, So normally that's the side I'm
- 25:39Speaker 1: gonna go on. But this is how hardball has coached
- 25:41Speaker 1: this thing for the last several years. They trust their
- 25:44Speaker 1: analytics and more importantly, they trust their quarterback to make
- 25:47Speaker 1: plays when it when it matters, and he's put the
- 25:50Speaker 1: ball in his hands time and time again. You remember
- 25:52Speaker 1: the game as Seattle. If you want to go for it, Yeah,
- 25:54Speaker 1: we're gonna go for We're gonna score. That's sort of
- 25:56Speaker 1: the approach that he's taken. And quite frankly, if lamarcis
- 25:59Speaker 1: Devin DuVernay, who was open right from jump, it's a touchdown.
- 26:03Speaker 1: If he sees Mike Davis in the flat it's a touchdown,
- 26:06Speaker 1: but he doesn't he sees the rush. By the time
- 26:08Speaker 1: he goes to Duverne, he's throwing off the back foot,
- 26:10Speaker 1: doesn't get enough on it, and Jordan Boyer, who is
- 26:12Speaker 1: in Noman sying kind of in the middle of the field,
- 26:14Speaker 1: is able to come over and make the interception. And
- 26:17Speaker 1: now you look at and say, well, do they trust
- 26:19Speaker 1: their defense? And well, I would tell you they shouldn't.
- 26:22Speaker 1: They shouldn't write their thirty second against the past this year.
- 26:26Speaker 1: And that's not just something that happened because of the
- 26:27Speaker 1: Miami game. This is now a trend that's continued over
- 26:30Speaker 1: the last three weeks. Their thirtieth overall in total defense.
- 26:33Speaker 1: And they just haven't made stops when they absolutely have
- 26:36Speaker 1: to make stops. And and they were hurt on that
- 26:38Speaker 1: last drive. A questionable call on Stevens, a roughing the
- 26:41Speaker 1: passer penalty, like the room Bogar thought he got him
- 26:44Speaker 1: in the neck. I didn't think he did, but that
- 26:45Speaker 1: was the call. So here you are now there two
- 26:48Speaker 1: and two. They could easily before No Marcus Peters is
- 26:50Speaker 1: yelling at hardball, hard balls yelling at Peters, and no
- 26:53Speaker 1: one heard from Peters after the game because he left
- 26:54Speaker 1: the locker room. So I'll be interested to see where
- 26:56Speaker 1: that one goes today. And for interesting with the Ravens
- 27:00Speaker 1: now getting the Bengals on Sunday night. The game is
- 27:03Speaker 1: in Baltimore, where the Ravens have now lost five in
- 27:05Speaker 1: a row at home. That is the worst enfranchise history. Obviously,
- 27:09Speaker 1: the new Ravens here, we reset when they moved to Baltimore.
- 27:12Speaker 1: All right, let's talk about Josh Allen. Give them credit
- 27:15Speaker 1: because they do deserve credit. Down seventeen, they got that
- 27:17Speaker 1: key touchdown late in the second quarter to get within
- 27:20Speaker 1: striking distance. They had lost thirty nine consecutive games when
- 27:25Speaker 1: trailing by seventeen or more. The last quarterback to lead
- 27:28Speaker 1: him back was that t and F analyst Ryan Fitzpatrick, Yeah,
- 27:32Speaker 1: and looked at play before the half Patrick Queen dropped
- 27:35Speaker 1: an interception on that drive and then Josh Allen and
- 27:37Speaker 1: they're able to take it in get points and it
- 27:39Speaker 1: sort of changed the whole flow of the game. In fact,
- 27:42Speaker 1: I was listening to the Ravens broadcast a little bit
- 27:44Speaker 1: in my car at one point and they were like,
- 27:46Speaker 1: ever since that play, it hasn't gone right, But it
- 27:48Speaker 1: doesn't go right when you're playing Josh Allen pretty much
- 27:50Speaker 1: every week. He's just so good and just so many things.
- 27:53Speaker 1: And look, I've harped on this point because his head coach,
- 27:56Speaker 1: Sean McDermot has happed on it. He doesn't want him
- 27:58Speaker 1: to run the ball this much and expose himself to
- 28:00Speaker 1: this many hits despite being six five and two pounds.
- 28:04Speaker 1: The problem with that is you can't shut off the competitor.
- 28:07Speaker 1: And Josh Allen. He made a quote about Ken Dorsey
- 28:09Speaker 1: losing his mind last week. We all saw the video.
- 28:11Speaker 1: But well, you show me someone who's happy with losing
- 28:13Speaker 1: or fine with losing, and I'll show you a loser.
- 28:15Speaker 1: Well that's Josh Allen. He's not gonna he's not gonna
- 28:18Speaker 1: say you know what I'm gonna I'm gonna slide here,
- 28:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna run out of bounds. No, he thinks he
- 28:22Speaker 1: can make a play, and more often and than not
- 28:25Speaker 1: he does make a play. He's a fierce competitor, and
- 28:27Speaker 1: he dragged him back into the game. You know, last
- 28:29Speaker 1: week I dropped this out. I think was of the
- 28:32Speaker 1: snaps against Miami, the ninety plays that he either threw
- 28:34Speaker 1: the ball or ran it. Well, it was seventy seven
- 28:36Speaker 1: percent in this one. Let's let's snaps overall, sixty two
- 28:39Speaker 1: offensive snaps. But he is just a massive part of
- 28:42Speaker 1: what they do. Eleven rushes yesterday, thirty six passes, had
- 28:45Speaker 1: a bunch of drops, and yet he still wills him
- 28:47Speaker 1: to victory. He's just that good. He's he's as good
- 28:50Speaker 1: as anyone in the league. Yes he is, and they
- 28:52Speaker 1: are that good. And now they get canny pickt in
- 28:54Speaker 1: the one in three Steelers coming to Orchard Park and
- 28:58Speaker 1: at Pittsburgh defense that has a lot of injuries, make it.
- 29:01Speaker 1: Fitzpatrick and Cam Hayward both left that game in the
- 29:04Speaker 1: second half. Thank you Mike Giardi, Sir, I hope you
- 29:08Speaker 1: got up early and watch NFL Network. Another game in London,
- 29:11Speaker 1: and we got one coming up this Sunday. What a
- 29:13Speaker 1: cool scene at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Saints Vikings go to
- 29:17Speaker 1: the fourth quarter justin Jefferson had ten patches. You also
- 29:20Speaker 1: had this rushing touchdown of the Vikings take the lead
- 29:24Speaker 1: to Will Lutts. However, remember this this is a sixty
- 29:30Speaker 1: zero yard field goal. Sixty would tie the game at
- 29:36Speaker 1: twenty five, but the Vikings would retake the lead. So
- 29:39Speaker 1: now it's up to Will Lutts. This is a sixty
- 29:43Speaker 1: one yard field goal, Will Lots. It's a London doink,
- 29:52Speaker 1: a London doink. What did Henry Hodgson's wet a double
- 29:55Speaker 1: doink in London? Like? It's oh so close? Vikings No,
- 30:04Speaker 1: sorry as Allen Vikings win. Kirk Cousins. You have to
- 30:08Speaker 1: put him on can handle a lot this week. You
- 30:15Speaker 1: know we left on Thursday, had our work in. We
- 30:18Speaker 1: got out here. You guys were pros through and through,
- 30:21Speaker 1: able to battle all the way down to the very
- 30:23Speaker 1: very unbelievable performance to just come together and keep on
- 30:27Speaker 1: playing off of one another, defense getting to stop and
- 30:30Speaker 1: we had to have it offense, going back and getting
- 30:32Speaker 1: the lead. Eventually, this thing's god come together, We're we're
- 30:35Speaker 1: just situational last and tackles un her career start for
- 30:39Speaker 1: the Minnesota Vikings. Very big win for the Vikings. Now
- 30:45Speaker 1: three and one. Look at this shot here, look kids,
- 30:48Speaker 1: Big Ben Parliament behind Stacy Dale. She's no longer stuck
- 30:51Speaker 1: in notting him forest like she was last week. Uh,
- 30:54Speaker 1: and the Vikings aren't stuck either, Stacy. How about that
- 30:58Speaker 1: resilient performance to go to for hand one? Yes, a
- 31:05Speaker 1: skyline is stunning. I mean, my crew just hooked us
- 31:08Speaker 1: up right here. That that's the uh the parliament behind
- 31:11Speaker 1: us really in Big Ben of course. Just a fantastic
- 31:14Speaker 1: job by my crew. What a game. I did not
- 31:16Speaker 1: want to hear about anything double doink around Will lutt
- 31:20Speaker 1: So he was remarkable in this game. To nail that
- 31:22Speaker 1: sixty yard or Andrew and then to miss sixty one yards.
- 31:25Speaker 1: I mean, come on, it was almost through. Everybody thought
- 31:27Speaker 1: it was going through. I watched it, um. But to
- 31:30Speaker 1: say that and understand that what the Minnesota Vikings did
- 31:34Speaker 1: was put together another resilient performance. We saw it against
- 31:37Speaker 1: Detroit down the stretch, and we saw it on Sunday
- 31:40Speaker 1: at Tottenham, which was an electric clap crowd here in
- 31:43Speaker 1: London sold out, by the way, the Packers and Giants
- 31:45Speaker 1: game is sold out next week. But how about the
- 31:48Speaker 1: Vikings finding ways to win? Kirk Cousins after the game
- 31:52Speaker 1: told us that listen, we can't come away with five
- 31:56Speaker 1: field goals, but the fact that they hit five field
- 31:59Speaker 1: goals care of Greg Joseph fantastic and that's how they
- 32:02Speaker 1: found a way to win. They struggled in the red
- 32:04Speaker 1: zone mightily, but it's all about response with this team.
- 32:07Speaker 1: When I talked to Delvin Cook immediately after the game,
- 32:10Speaker 1: he was so excited playing through that shoulder injury. He
- 32:13Speaker 1: told me that head coach Kevin O'Connell, who has totally
- 32:16Speaker 1: resurrected and changed already this culture with these Vikings, talked
- 32:20Speaker 1: about response, right, that is the operative word respond and
- 32:25Speaker 1: that is exactly what this team did. And I asked
- 32:27Speaker 1: Kevin O'Connell about it last night after the game and
- 32:30Speaker 1: his presser. He told me that there's no flinch even
- 32:33Speaker 1: when things don't go our way and why that's important Andrew.
- 32:37Speaker 1: As you know, this is only week four. They have
- 32:39Speaker 1: the Bears next Sunday, who just lost to the Giants,
- 32:42Speaker 1: who will be here this coming weekend. But essentially they
- 32:46Speaker 1: are finding ways to win when things aren't perfect. Justin
- 32:49Speaker 1: Jefferson came alive in the football game and I really
- 32:54Speaker 1: couldn't think they'd be more thrilled. The big obviously marring
- 32:57Speaker 1: issue for them, and sadly was Louis Sene their their
- 33:01Speaker 1: rookie safety. We continue to pray for him with that
- 33:04Speaker 1: lower leg fract You're having surgery here, staying back in
- 33:06Speaker 1: London and will transition back to Minnesota when he is
- 33:10Speaker 1: able to do so. That is a tough blow for
- 33:11Speaker 1: the rookie. Yeah, tough scene there, Lewis scene. We send
- 33:14Speaker 1: our best as the Vikings head home right now without
- 33:17Speaker 1: him the face the Bears, whereas the Saints go home
- 33:20Speaker 1: banged up as well, didn't have Jamis Winston. They're riding
- 33:22Speaker 1: a three game losing streak and now they face the Seahawks. Stacy,
- 33:26Speaker 1: what's next for New Orleans after what we saw their
- 33:28Speaker 1: Sunday health and cleaning up turnovers? Those are the two things,
- 33:32Speaker 1: right Jamis Winston. I talked to him actually before the game.
- 33:36Speaker 1: He was just sitting on the bench and I said,
- 33:38Speaker 1: how are you And he said, basically, I'll get there.
- 33:41Speaker 1: And I had a fracture in my back once Andrew
- 33:44Speaker 1: and I said that to him and he just went
- 33:46Speaker 1: like this to me. For four fractured vertebrae in his back.
- 33:51Speaker 1: I mean, the fact that he has been playing through
- 33:53Speaker 1: this is a marvel in itself, but really his body
- 33:56Speaker 1: didn't respond and at some point Dennis Allen, the head coach,
- 34:00Speaker 1: said after the game, we had to give Andy Dalton
- 34:03Speaker 1: the ability to prepare properly for this football game and
- 34:06Speaker 1: then you think about Alvin Camaro with the that rib injury.
- 34:09Speaker 1: He pushed through it leading up to the Carolina game.
- 34:12Speaker 1: Just couldn't push through it. They wanted to give him
- 34:14Speaker 1: a rest week here so to not see them and
- 34:17Speaker 1: Michael Thomas in this game. But turnovers are the problem.
- 34:21Speaker 1: They have the worst turnover differential in the National Football League.
- 34:24Speaker 1: Andrew and eleven giveaways. Offensively, they had two fumbles. They
- 34:29Speaker 1: gave the football to the Vikings, and Andy Dalton said
- 34:31Speaker 1: after the game, we could have won the game, but
- 34:34Speaker 1: we gave the football away and that was the difference.
- 34:36Speaker 1: They have to clean those things up. Maybe some more
- 34:38Speaker 1: turnover drills and practice. We'll see. Andy Dalton had to
- 34:41Speaker 1: play that one is Jameis Winston couldn't go long flight
- 34:44Speaker 1: home with four back fractures. Hopefully they bumped him up
- 34:47Speaker 1: the first and gave him one of the laye flets.
