- 0:03Speaker 1: Hello and welcome to Outspoken. It's your dose of the
- 0:06Speaker 1: hottest influencer and pop culture news twice a week. I'm
- 0:10Speaker 1: Sophie Torber and coming up on today's show, Drake inserts
- 0:14Speaker 1: himself into the Anna Paul and Michaela Tester drama. Em
- 0:18Speaker 1: Davies drops her highly anticipated wedding photos and our Friday debrief.
- 0:23Speaker 1: But first, Amy, would you pay $ 19 for a single strawberry?
- 0:28Speaker 1: I love strawberries, but surely no one is paying that
- 0:31Speaker 1: much for a single one. Well, apparently Gen Zers in
- 0:34Speaker 1: California think that this is completely reasonable because luxury grocery
- 0:38Speaker 1: chain Air One, which is known for selling $ 20 celebrity smoothies,
- 0:43Speaker 1: has launched a range of organic luxury strawberries from Kyoto. Now,
- 0:47Speaker 1: they're from a Japanese retailer called Eli Amar, And the
- 0:50Speaker 1: strawberries are sold in these individual plastic pots for $ 19
- 0:54Speaker 1: a pop.
- 0:55Speaker 2: God, you'd want them to taste good.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Well, there's a lot of TikTokers who are declaring that
- 0:59Speaker 1: these are the best strawberries they've ever tasted. It seems
- 1:02Speaker 1: like some sort of placebo effect. Is this just a
- 1:04Speaker 1: marketing ruse to make their smoothies look not so expensive?
- 1:07Speaker 2: Maybe.
- 1:08Speaker 1: Well, LA influencer Alyssa Antocki has gone viral after sharing
- 1:12Speaker 1: a taste test video of the $ 19 strawberry. Now, the
- 1:15Speaker 1: video has since racked up over 15 million views.
- 1:19Speaker 2: It's absolutely classic. Let's throw to what she said. This
- 1:24Speaker 2: is a $ 19 strawberry from Erewhon. So we're going to
- 1:27Speaker 2: eat it. It's from Kyoto in Japan. And apparently it's
- 1:31Speaker 2: like the best tasting strawberry in the entire world. So
- 1:35Speaker 2: here we go.
- 1:37Speaker 3: Wow.
- 1:37Speaker 2: That is the best strawberry. That's crazy. That is the
- 1:41Speaker 2: best strawberry I've ever had in my life.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Air One is a fucking genius. The way that they
- 1:48Speaker 1: have glamorized healthy eating and made it so aspirational is
- 1:52Speaker 1: just incredible. The fact that we are in a cost
- 1:54Speaker 1: of living crisis, but these Gen Zers are happy to
- 1:57Speaker 1: shell out $ 19 for one strawberry. This is fucking insane.
- 2:02Speaker 1: And they made the strawberry look so fancy. It almost
- 2:04Speaker 1: looked like an engagement ring because it was propped up
- 2:07Speaker 1: on this stand. Yeah, it was like it was sitting
- 2:09Speaker 1: on a stage ready for TikTok because this strawberry was
- 2:12Speaker 1: made for a taste test video.
- 2:14Speaker 2: They are very clever.
- 2:15Speaker 1: They know marketing. They know that influencers are going to
- 2:18Speaker 1: come in and taste test these strawberries the same way
- 2:20Speaker 1: that they.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Do the smoothies.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Well, I've just converted it. So it's 19 American dollars,
- 2:25Speaker 1: which is $ 30 and 50 Australian cents. That is crazy.
- 2:29Speaker 1: I love the way that she was saying it was
- 2:30Speaker 1: the best strawberry she's ever eaten. Well, it would want
- 2:33Speaker 1: to be.
- 2:33Speaker 2: For that price.
- 2:34Speaker 1: As expected, this elicited a huge response in Alyssa's comment section.
- 2:39Speaker 1: One follower wrote, Another said, Another TikToker wrote, While another commented,
- 3:02Speaker 1: People can't afford eggs and then there are people spending
- 3:05Speaker 1: $ 19 on a single strawberry.
- 3:07Speaker 2: I hate it here.
- 3:08Speaker 1: It's making grapes at New Year's look pretty affordable. Now,
- 3:11Speaker 1: Alyssa's video has also led to a number of parody videos.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Let's throw to my favorite one.
- 3:18Speaker 4: This is a $ 19 strawberry from Erewhon. It's from Kyoto, Japan,
- 3:25Speaker 4: and it's supposed to be like the best in the world.
- 3:27Speaker 4: So let's eat it.
- 3:30Speaker 1: He got the clicking of the packaging so correct. Also
- 3:32Speaker 1: the very suggestive way that a number of these TikTokers
- 3:35Speaker 1: are eating the fruit as well. It was absolutely spot on.
- 3:38Speaker 1: What's pretty crazy though is there is a market for
- 3:41Speaker 1: designer fruit. So in Tokyo, you are surrounded by $ 12
- 3:45Speaker 1: apples when you go to the markets and there is
- 3:47Speaker 1: a brand called Oshi, which has made a name for
- 3:50Speaker 1: itself in Tokyo by selling designer strawberries, but they will
- 3:53Speaker 1: only set you back $ 2 a piece, not $ 19.
- 3:55Speaker 3: Bargain. Guys, it caught me off guard. It caught me
- 4:00Speaker 3: so off guard.
- 4:02Speaker 1: The Anna Paul, Michaela Testa feud is not going away.
- 4:06Speaker 1: This week, OnlyFans creator Karina Kopf and controversial superstar Drake
- 4:11Speaker 1: inserted themselves into the drama. Now, Amy, a lot of
- 4:14Speaker 1: people were shocked to see an international celebrity like Drake
- 4:18Speaker 1: weighing into such a local influencer feud. Yeah, well, Drake's
- 4:21Speaker 1: got a lot going on at the moment. He's got
- 4:23Speaker 1: his own feuds that he's fighting. It seemed bizarre that
- 4:25Speaker 1: this was even on his radar. So on Monday night,
- 4:28Speaker 1: Drake wore a singlet which read, it made me feel
- 4:31Speaker 1: broke during his concert on the Gold Coast. Michaela Testa
- 4:34Speaker 1: was obviously ecstatic by the photo of Drake because she
- 4:37Speaker 1: shared it on her Instagram alongside the caption, It looks
- 4:40Speaker 1: like Drake has picked his side with this. I feel
- 4:43Speaker 1: broke tea in tonight's show in my city laughing my
- 4:46Speaker 1: ass off. Yeah, because just to reiterate, Drake was performing
- 4:49Speaker 1: on the Gold Coast, which is where Mikaela and Anna
- 4:52Speaker 1: are from. Yeah, and he ended up wearing three different
- 4:55Speaker 1: t-shirts this week at his concerts, which referenced the drama.
- 4:59Speaker 1: So another one of the t-shirts read Anna vs. Mikaela
- 5:02Speaker 1: Gold Coast 2025, while another said Anna Max Winne. Now,
- 5:06Speaker 1: this is a play on term referencing the name of
- 5:09Speaker 1: his tour, which is Anita Max Win Tour. Yeah, that
- 5:12Speaker 1: one went over my head a little bit. I needed
- 5:13Speaker 1: to go into the comment section to have that one
- 5:15Speaker 1: explained to me. Well, apparently Drake's tour name is inspired
- 5:18Speaker 1: by his love of gambling.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Oh, lovely.
- 5:21Speaker 1: So it loosely translates to I Need a Max Win,
- 5:24Speaker 1: which is a popular gambling term, just if you don't
- 5:26Speaker 1: know that, Sophie. Now, many people have labelled Drake as
- 5:29Speaker 1: a hypocrite for getting involved in the drama due to
- 5:32Speaker 1: the very serious allegations that Michaela has leveled at her ex-boyfriend,
- 5:36Speaker 1: Addis Poole, that we unfortunately can't get into for legal reasons.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Because just this month, Drake made headlines after rapper Kendrick
- 5:43Speaker 1: Lamar accused him in a diss track of having relationships
- 5:47Speaker 1: with underage women. Now, Drake has denied these claims, I
- 5:51Speaker 1: have to point out. Now, you might be wondering... How
- 5:53Speaker 1: was Drake, who is an international celebrity, all over this
- 5:57Speaker 1: local drama? Well, it has been rumored that popular TikToker
- 6:01Speaker 1: and sex worker Blue Eyed Kayla Jade actually told him
- 6:04Speaker 1: to wear the I Feel Broke shirt. So the pair
- 6:06Speaker 1: allegedly hung out together ahead of her attending one of
- 6:09Speaker 1: his concerts. So prior to that news going public, Kayla
- 6:13Speaker 1: posted a video saying that she was hanging out with
- 6:15Speaker 1: a certain celebrity, but said she wasn't going to say
- 6:18Speaker 1: too much because she didn't know if she had to
- 6:20Speaker 1: sign an NDA. It turns out she didn't have to
- 6:23Speaker 1: sign one. So she later shared a video the next
- 6:26Speaker 1: day saying, get ready with me to hang out and
- 6:28Speaker 1: go to a Drake concert. Now this has led to
- 6:31Speaker 1: a lot of disappointment from her followers with many upset
- 6:34Speaker 1: that she would align herself with the singer due to
- 6:37Speaker 1: the recent allegations that have come out against him.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Actually, one of my.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Friends was telling me this week that he had a
- 6:43Speaker 1: friend attend one of the Drake concerts and they got
- 6:45Speaker 1: picked out to go to the after party. And as
- 6:48Speaker 1: soon as they arrived, their phones were instantly taken away
- 6:51Speaker 1: from them.
- 6:52Speaker 2: So there's obviously a lot of stuff.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Going on in terms of NDAs being signed. I mean,
- 6:57Speaker 1: people are a bit dubious as to what was actually
- 6:59Speaker 1: going on between Drake and Caleb. Yeah, I mean, as
- 7:02Speaker 1: we've touched on, she is a sex worker. So there
- 7:04Speaker 1: was some speculation that maybe he hired her and was
- 7:08Speaker 1: spending time with her. There is a lot more to
- 7:10Speaker 1: this story because fans are calling for her to be
- 7:12Speaker 1: cancelled now. So we are going to be covering this
- 7:15Speaker 1: in more depth on Tuesday's show. Now, what we are
- 7:18Speaker 1: going to concentrate on today is the drama between Michaela
- 7:21Speaker 1: Testa and her former friend, Karina Kopf. Now, according to Michaela,
- 7:25Speaker 1: it was Drake's t-shirt that sparked her former friend to
- 7:28Speaker 1: weigh into the Michaela Anna drama. So for those who
- 7:32Speaker 1: don't know, Karina is a 29-year-old US influencer and OnlyFans
- 7:36Speaker 1: creator who previously dated Logan Paul. She has 6.7 million
- 7:41Speaker 1: Instagram followers and 4.6 million on TikTok, and she reportedly
- 7:45Speaker 1: made a whopping $ 67 million on OnlyFans since she joined
- 7:50Speaker 1: the platform in 2021. Now, as for Karina's connection to Drake,
- 7:54Speaker 1: the pair were linked back in 2023 and were first
- 7:57Speaker 1: spotted together backstage at.
- 7:59Speaker 2: One of his shows.
- 8:00Speaker 1: However, it appears by April 2024 that things soured between
- 8:04Speaker 1: the two, with Karina posting Kendrick Lamar's diss track to
- 8:07Speaker 1: Drake on Instagram. Now, on Tuesday, Karina took to her
- 8:11Speaker 1: Instagram story to accuse Michaela Testa of lying about the
- 8:15Speaker 1: Paul family. In the scathing attack, she labeled Michaela as
- 8:18Speaker 1: a pathological liar. She wrote, I'm done sitting here in
- 8:22Speaker 1: silence while other people suffer over someone I have firsthand
- 8:25Speaker 1: experience with. I mean this wholeheartedly when I say Michaela
- 8:29Speaker 1: Tester is the most narcissistic and manipulative person I've ever met.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Until I met her, I had never encountered a true
- 8:37Speaker 1: pathological liar. Ask anyone who has ever come into contact
- 8:40Speaker 1: with her and I promise you they will say the
- 8:43Speaker 1: exact same thing. Since I met her two years ago,
- 8:46Speaker 1: she has not had one consistent person in her life.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Every single person has come and gone. It's always everyone
- 8:53Speaker 1: else who is the fucked up friend. Who is the
- 8:55Speaker 1: common denominator here? I've listened to her talk shit about
- 8:58Speaker 1: every single friend over and over again. The only difference
- 9:02Speaker 1: in this situation is she's doing it publicly years later
- 9:05Speaker 1: for her own personal gain. This person craves attention. This
- 9:09Speaker 1: is for attention. This is for views. This is a
- 9:12Speaker 1: personal gain. This is for money.
- 9:14Speaker 2: Jeez, she didn't hold back there. I mean, it seems a.
- 9:19Speaker 1: She's having a go at Michaela for calling out Anna
- 9:22Speaker 1: and she's doing the exact same thing to Michaela. It
- 9:24Speaker 1: was only going to be a matter of time before
- 9:26Speaker 1: someone with a public profile came out in support of Anna.
- 9:29Speaker 1: I mean, I'm surprised it's actually taken this long for
- 9:31Speaker 1: someone to come out and defend her because she was
- 9:35Speaker 1: incredibly popular across social media, but everyone seemed to just
- 9:38Speaker 1: not want to be associated with her at all. It's
- 9:41Speaker 1: been a pile on, hasn't it? I mean, I'm kind
- 9:43Speaker 1: of not surprised that Karina's come out because she's probably
- 9:46Speaker 1: seen exactly what happens when you insert yourself into this drama,
- 9:50Speaker 1: which is max views, more followers. Not that she probably
- 9:54Speaker 1: needs it because she's already earning so much money on OnlyFans.
- 9:57Speaker 1: But Michaela was straight on the attack. So she denied
- 10:00Speaker 1: that she was a pathological liar and said the only
- 10:03Speaker 1: reason Karina had gone off at her was because she
- 10:06Speaker 1: posted about Drake. So she wrote on Instagram, we all
- 10:09Speaker 1: know the history there.
- 10:11Speaker 2: She then accused.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Karina of having a parasocial relationship with Anna and Addis
- 10:16Speaker 1: and claimed that she had paid people to try and
- 10:18Speaker 1: get her Instagram banned in 2021. Now, the allegations kept coming.
- 10:23Speaker 1: She said that Karina invited her to the Bahamas in
- 10:27Speaker 1: 2022 after her breakup with Addis, only for Michaela to
- 10:30Speaker 1: find out that Karina had been allegedly texting Addis trying
- 10:34Speaker 1: to meet up. She also went on to say that
- 10:37Speaker 1: she and Karina had become friends in 2023, and they
- 10:40Speaker 1: were so close that she had confided in her about
- 10:43Speaker 1: the allegations she's made against the Pauls, Now, by 2024,
- 10:46Speaker 1: Michaela says Karina was hanging out at her house regularly
- 10:51Speaker 1: and stayed with her for a month. She finished up
- 10:54Speaker 1: by accusing Karina of victim blaming and said she's almost
- 10:57Speaker 1: 30 and relies on young creators and internet drama to
- 11:00Speaker 1: boost her OnlyFans and create abundance. There definitely seems to
- 11:04Speaker 1: be quite an interesting history there between the pair, which
- 11:06Speaker 1: seems to have been exacerbated by the fact that Drake
- 11:09Speaker 1: showed support for Michaela. Well, the slinging match continued. So
- 11:13Speaker 1: Karina rebutted Michaela's claims in a six-minute audio clip to
- 11:17Speaker 1: her Instagram story. She denied trying to get Michaela's Instagram
- 11:21Speaker 1: banned and said that she didn't have a parasocial relationship
- 11:25Speaker 1: with the Pauls. She also claimed that there are others
- 11:27Speaker 1: who agree with her that Michaela is a pathological liar
- 11:31Speaker 1: and urged her followers to pay attention to Michaela's content
- 11:34Speaker 1: because the proof is in the pudding. She also went
- 11:37Speaker 1: on to share a screen recording of their Instagram DMs
- 11:40Speaker 1: between each other. Gosh, it's just getting so messy. It's
- 11:43Speaker 1: hard to be across all of these Instagram slinging matches.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Well, Drake apparently is.
- 11:49Speaker 3: Well, yeah.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Now, in response, Michaela shared this TikTok video, which has
- 11:53Speaker 1: had over 3.5 million views.
- 11:57Speaker 3: Every single friend I've ever been seen with online, every
- 12:01Speaker 3: single one has messaged me and majority of them over
- 12:04Speaker 3: like half of them have actually posted on their own
- 12:06Speaker 3: social medias saying the fucked up stories that they witnessed
- 12:10Speaker 3: with the Pauls and me and things that they went
- 12:12Speaker 3: through with them. So tell me who these people are
- 12:15Speaker 3: that are apparently going to side with you and Anna
- 12:17Speaker 3: and Attis because we aren't seeing them. Even our fucking
- 12:20Speaker 3: hairdresser and the lady that sold us cats and the
- 12:22Speaker 3: fucking real estates have my back in this situation. I've
- 12:26Speaker 3: got every receipt and I've just filmed the podcast. God,
- 12:30Speaker 3: it was so long and so treacherous, but I'm glad
- 12:33Speaker 3: it's over. I just can't believe my own friends. I mean,
- 12:38Speaker 3: she wanted to sleep without us and she's been begging
- 12:40Speaker 3: Anna to hang out with her for the last couple
- 12:41Speaker 3: of years. Would come out and stab me in the
- 12:44Speaker 3: back like this. Guys, it caught me off guard. It
- 12:46Speaker 3: caught me so off guard. And everything she's saying in
- 12:48Speaker 3: her story, she's like, go and ask Michaela's friends.
- 12:52Speaker 1: It really seems like Michaela was caught off guard by
- 12:54Speaker 1: Karina's claims because in this, Michaela references her as a friend.
- 12:59Speaker 1: It didn't seem like they had some fallout before this
- 13:02Speaker 1: internet drama started. Well, also Michaela would have been on
- 13:05Speaker 1: probably the biggest high of her life seeing an international
- 13:07Speaker 1: celebrity like Drake supporting her. I mean, that being said,
- 13:10Speaker 1: obviously not everyone loves Drake at the moment because of
- 13:13Speaker 1: those claims.
- 13:14Speaker 2: So It's a very messy story.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Now, Karina then also brought up Michaela's ex-boyfriend, Kid Leroy.
- 13:22Speaker 1: So Kid Leroy is an Aussie rapper who Michaela says
- 13:25Speaker 1: was her first love. Now, the couple dated when Michaela
- 13:28Speaker 1: was 19 and Kid Leroy was only 16. Now, Karina
- 13:32Speaker 1: accused Michaela of being a hypocrite for dating someone underage
- 13:35Speaker 1: and said it was against the law. Michaela hit back
- 13:38Speaker 1: on her Instagram story saying,' This girl is crazy.' talking
- 13:42Speaker 1: about a three-year age gap with someone from my past,
- 13:44Speaker 1: which is legal. I've been sick of this rumor for
- 13:47Speaker 1: a long time.
- 13:48Speaker 2: No, it's not true.
- 13:49Speaker 1: And with a simple Google search, you'll be able to
- 13:51Speaker 1: see that. I think it's a low of a low
- 13:53Speaker 1: act to try and paint me as someone that's a
- 13:55Speaker 1: bad person, when in reality, they are doing a lot worse.
- 13:59Speaker 1: Michaela followed it up with a screenshot from Google, which said,
- 14:02Speaker 1: if the sex is consensual and the other party is
- 14:05Speaker 1: also aged 16 years or over, it is not against
- 14:08Speaker 1: the law. This is getting so messy. I just think
- 14:11Speaker 1: they need to stop responding to each other because it's
- 14:13Speaker 1: just muddying the water and it's not making.
- 14:14Speaker 2: Either of them look particularly good.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Oh my God, guys, I'm getting married today. Over the weekend,
- 14:22Speaker 1: we were on Wedding Watch as popular influencer Em Davies
- 14:26Speaker 1: tied the knot to her long-term boyfriend, Joel Gambon, in
- 14:29Speaker 1: Western Australia. The Perth-based influencer, who has over 430,000 followers.
- 14:35Speaker 2: kept fans on.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Edge as she waited three days to share the highly
- 14:39Speaker 1: anticipated photos. Despite the wait, Em actually posted in real
- 14:43Speaker 1: time on the morning of her wedding. Yeah, this is
- 14:45Speaker 1: pretty unheard of, particularly for a bride who's in the
- 14:48Speaker 1: public eye. But I think it was a really clever
- 14:50Speaker 1: strategy to build up suspense and engagement. I also think
- 14:55Speaker 1: that Em was very aware of how emotionally invested her
- 14:58Speaker 1: audience is in her wedding, that she wanted to make
- 15:01Speaker 1: them feel like they were part of the day and
- 15:03Speaker 1: joining in on the fun. So she uploaded a total
- 15:06Speaker 1: of three TikToks on the morning of her wedding. The
- 15:09Speaker 1: first showed her waking up saying that she couldn't believe
- 15:11Speaker 1: that the day was here, whilst another showed her in
- 15:14Speaker 1: her white PJs with her hair in rollers whilst her bridesmaid,
- 15:17Speaker 1: Lily Brown, poured her a wine. Now, fans are pretty
- 15:20Speaker 1: stoked to be a fly on the wall writing, love
- 15:22Speaker 1: you posting in real time and declaring that Em's wedding
- 15:26Speaker 1: was their Olympics, whilst others said it was their royal wedding.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Is this a bit like how a lot of men
- 15:32Speaker 1: say that the AFL grand final is their Christmas day?
- 15:35Speaker 2: I think it is that vibe.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Now there was one TikTok in particular that really struck
- 15:40Speaker 1: a chord with Em's followers and it showed her having
- 15:43Speaker 1: a quiet moment to herself as she opened up her
- 15:45Speaker 1: cards from her bridesmaids. Now she made sure to open
- 15:48Speaker 1: them up before she had her makeup done because she
- 15:50Speaker 1: knew that there was going to be a lot of tears.
- 15:52Speaker 1: And this was a really emotional moment because Em sadly
- 15:56Speaker 1: lost her mum to cancer a number of years ago.
- 15:58Speaker 1: And I think it was really evident during her hen's party.
- 16:01Speaker 1: What an amazing tight-knit group of friends she has. Like
- 16:04Speaker 1: those girls seem to go above and beyond for her.
- 16:07Speaker 1: And Em was reading out the videos. She was in
- 16:10Speaker 1: a flood of tears and she said, how good are
- 16:12Speaker 1: friends when you don't have a mom? Now this sentiment
- 16:14Speaker 1: was echoed in her comment section with one follower writing,
- 16:18Speaker 1: You were so loved, your mum picked out so many
- 16:20Speaker 1: angels for you to walk through life with. Now, whilst
- 16:23Speaker 1: this was a very touching video, followers couldn't help but
- 16:26Speaker 1: notice Em's something new present as it was described by
- 16:29Speaker 1: the Daily Mail. So it was a pearl embellished vape case.
- 16:34Speaker 1: And it seemed like her friends had thought of every detail.
- 16:38Speaker 1: How 2025 is this? Look, it's not something that I
- 16:41Speaker 1: would personally want, being very anti-vape.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Or use, yeah. Yeah, but you know... The thought was there.
- 16:48Speaker 1: I love that it was covered in pearls and a ribbon.
- 16:51Speaker 1: For me, it would be like making sure I had
- 16:53Speaker 1: a wedding appropriate phone case. Yeah, I mean, it must
- 16:56Speaker 1: have been an inside joke between the girls as well. See,
- 16:59Speaker 1: for your wedding, you had a Christmas-themed phone case on
- 17:02Speaker 1: which was red.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Look, I didn't even, I did not cross my mind.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Look, maybe I should have jumped on board as a bridesmaid.
- 17:09Speaker 2: And got it decorated for you. Yeah, where's my bedazzled
- 17:11Speaker 2: phone case?
- 17:11Speaker 1: Well, this vape case was a big hit with her
- 17:14Speaker 1: followers because with one writing, the bedazzled vape is sending me. Congratulations,
- 17:18Speaker 1: darling girl. Whilst another said, who knew a vape could
- 17:21Speaker 1: look so elegant? I feel like maybe this is an
- 17:24Speaker 1: untapped market. Like if anyone's listening, that's a good business
- 17:27Speaker 1: idea out there.
- 17:28Speaker 2: I can just imagine this factory.
- 17:29Speaker 1: They're like, fuck, we've just started producing the bedazzled G-strings
- 17:33Speaker 1: from M's Hens Party. Now we need to get the
- 17:35Speaker 1: vape cases out. I feel like so many of us
- 17:37Speaker 1: were on Wedding Watch over the weekend, particularly because there
- 17:40Speaker 1: were so many high-profile wedding guests attending. Yeah, because Happy
- 17:43Speaker 1: Hour's Lucy Jackson and Nikki Westcott, they were, of course,
- 17:46Speaker 1: in attendance. So they flew over from the Gold Coast
- 17:49Speaker 1: and appeared to rent out a house with Tammy Hembrough
- 17:51Speaker 1: and Renee and Alicia Herbert, who I have to give
- 17:54Speaker 1: a shout out to because they're actually triplets. So they
- 17:57Speaker 1: have a brother, which would be such an interesting dynamic. Yeah,
- 18:00Speaker 1: because everyone refers to them as the twins, but they're
- 18:02Speaker 1: actually triplets. It'd be such an interesting dynamic to have
- 18:05Speaker 1: two girls and a brother, like to see who's closer. Yeah,
- 18:09Speaker 1: it'd be so, I'm assuming the girls are the closest.
- 18:12Speaker 1: So the girls actually had a glam squad drop by
- 18:15Speaker 1: their accommodation, which led to a lot of confusion in
- 18:18Speaker 1: the press. Because a lot of gossip journos assume that
- 18:21Speaker 1: this must be the bride's house and that they all
- 18:23Speaker 1: must be bridesmaids. Yeah, it really didn't help that all
- 18:26Speaker 1: of the girls wore black bar Tammy. Tammy wore a
- 18:29Speaker 1: very dark brown dress. So they all looked like they
- 18:32Speaker 1: were matching. And I saw so many articles calling Tammy
- 18:36Speaker 1: a bridesmaid. This was all over the Daily Mail. And
- 18:39Speaker 1: Tammy ended up posting a selfie with the girls and
- 18:42Speaker 1: wrote 2019 called Now, that was referring to the time
- 18:45Speaker 1: that they all used to hang out and that they
- 18:46Speaker 1: were a bit of it girls then. Now, one noticeable
- 18:49Speaker 1: absentee was Tammy's husband, Matt Sikowski, and he didn't appear
- 18:52Speaker 1: to be in attendance. This was despite the couple recently
- 18:56Speaker 1: attending one of his friend's weddings over Valentine's Day. At first,
- 19:00Speaker 1: I thought maybe Em didn't include everyone's partners, but a
- 19:04Speaker 1: super sleuth did get in touch with us saying that
- 19:07Speaker 1: they had a screenshot showing Matt Sikowski's name. on M's
- 19:11Speaker 1: seating plan. Now this photo has since made its way online.
- 19:15Speaker 1: And the thing that stuck out to me was that
- 19:17Speaker 1: Matt's last name was spelled incorrectly. So it was spelled Zabkowski.
- 19:22Speaker 2: With a B.
- 19:23Speaker 1: Whoops. Now one follower wrote, clearly they dislike him if
- 19:26Speaker 1: they're spelling his name wrong. I mean, it is quite
- 19:29Speaker 1: a complicated name to spell. I feel sorry for M
- 19:32Speaker 1: because I made my own wedding sign And I know
- 19:35Speaker 1: the pressure of trying to get everyone's spelling correct. Well,
- 19:38Speaker 1: a lot of people noticed as well that Tammy's name
- 19:41Speaker 1: was just Tammy Hembrough on there, even though she has
- 19:44Speaker 1: taken Zukowski as her official name.
- 19:47Speaker 2: Or Zubkowski. Zubkowski.
- 19:49Speaker 4: Now.
- 19:50Speaker 1: We ended up sharing a photo of the wedding sign
- 19:52Speaker 1: on our Instagram story. And Matt sadly wrote in saying
- 19:56Speaker 1: that one of his family members was rushed to surgery.
- 19:59Speaker 1: So that is why he flew to Melbourne to be
- 20:01Speaker 1: with them and wasn't at the wedding. He has also
- 20:04Speaker 1: asked for privacy on that matter. So I felt quite
- 20:08Speaker 1: sorry for him because a lot of people were jumping
- 20:09Speaker 1: to conclusions that maybe the.
- 20:12Speaker 2: Couple had had a fight. So we just wanted to
- 20:14Speaker 2: clear that one up for him.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Now, a bit of a fun fact while we're on
- 20:18Speaker 1: the topic of Tammy and Matt is that Em and
- 20:20Speaker 1: Joel hired the same social media content creator as them.
- 20:24Speaker 1: So the creator in question is Olivia Burrows Sutherland, and
- 20:28Speaker 1: she has over 103,000 followers on TikTok. And she is
- 20:32Speaker 1: just the social media content creator at the moment, especially
- 20:35Speaker 1: for these high profile weddings. Yeah, and I love it
- 20:36Speaker 1: because she created a Get Ready With Me video ahead
- 20:39Speaker 1: of the wedding, explaining it's her first time in WA
- 20:42Speaker 1: and showing us what she wears for a wedding like that.
- 20:45Speaker 1: Because for a lot of those creators, it's hard. Like
- 20:47Speaker 1: we've shot wedding videos before because you're a videographer, Amy.
- 20:50Speaker 1: I was there merely assisting. But it's a long day
- 20:53Speaker 1: on your feet and you want to look nice. but
- 20:55Speaker 1: you don't want to look distracting at the same time
- 20:57Speaker 1: and still be able to do all of the physical
- 20:59Speaker 1: labor of filming. I thought the same thing. I was like,
- 21:01Speaker 1: she looks really good what she's wearing. Like she looked smart,
- 21:04Speaker 1: but fashionable. I mean, there'd be a lot of pressure
- 21:07Speaker 1: to show up to a wedding like that with so.
- 21:08Speaker 2: Many influences in attendance.
- 21:10Speaker 1: Now, despite the fact that Anne was posting in real
- 21:13Speaker 1: time on the morning of her wedding, we didn't get
- 21:16Speaker 1: to see professional photos for three very long days. And
- 21:20Speaker 1: many fans predicted that maybe there was such a big
- 21:23Speaker 1: wait because Em might have had a similar deal as
- 21:26Speaker 1: Tammy did with Vogue. That wasn't actually the case. It
- 21:29Speaker 1: seemed like the couple were soaking in all of the
- 21:31Speaker 1: love and maybe they were waiting still to get their
- 21:34Speaker 1: photos back. Because I know not all wedding photographers get
- 21:38Speaker 1: you the photo back the day after.
- 21:39Speaker 2: I mean, there's some editing involved.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Yeah, or you get a handful and you might not
- 21:43Speaker 1: particularly like all the photos that they've sent through. And
- 21:46Speaker 1: there was a lot of pressure on Em to share.
- 21:49Speaker 1: I saw so many TikTok videos. of people saying that
- 21:52Speaker 1: they had eagerly been waiting.
- 21:54Speaker 2: Let's have a listen to one of those. I need
- 21:56Speaker 2: to see the reception.
- 21:58Speaker 3: I need to see Lala.
- 21:59Speaker 4: I need to see Lily.
- 21:59Speaker 2: Joel, what is going on? Sort it out, girl. We
- 22:01Speaker 2: are dying over here.
- 22:22Speaker 1: There was certainly a lot of hype and Em's new husband, Joel,
- 22:25Speaker 1: had to call for calm. So he shared a photo
- 22:28Speaker 1: of himself in his suit on Instagram because, you know,
- 22:31Speaker 1: let's be honest, no one really cares what the groom
- 22:33Speaker 1: is wearing. That wasn't ruining anything. And he wrote, what
- 22:35Speaker 1: a weekend. We will share with everyone when we're ready
- 22:38Speaker 1: and slowly get back to all of your lovely messages.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Our daughter comes first. We are so in love with
- 22:43Speaker 1: each other, everyone who is in attendance, and we feel
- 22:46Speaker 1: all the love from the messages you've shared with us online.
- 22:49Speaker 1: I can see why there was so much interest online
- 22:51Speaker 1: because Em initially sharing.
- 22:53Speaker 2: Stuff on TikTok the morning of, it really whets your appetite.
- 22:56Speaker 1: You're like, right, okay, now I'm ready for the photos.
- 22:59Speaker 2: For the next day. Yeah.
- 23:01Speaker 1: Well, Em also had to remind her friends and family
- 23:04Speaker 1: not to post photos of her dress. So she shared
- 23:06Speaker 1: on Instagram, just a reminder to anyone who celebrated with
- 23:09Speaker 1: us yesterday. Please hold off on posting until I do.
- 23:13Speaker 1: It's sad that you have to remind people of that.
- 23:15Speaker 1: But honestly, every influencer wedding, there seems to be some
- 23:18Speaker 1: dickhead who ends up sharing some grainy photo or even
- 23:22Speaker 1: just friends weddings. I've noticed there's not a lot of
- 23:24Speaker 1: etiquette that goes on. It's always like a grandparent or
- 23:27Speaker 1: a great aunt that shares the worst fucking photo as well.
- 23:30Speaker 1: And you're like, I don't want that to be the
- 23:31Speaker 1: first one. It seemed like someone maybe did share something
- 23:34Speaker 1: and there was a bit of a dirty delete happen. Luckily,
- 23:36Speaker 1: that seemed to happen quite quickly. When you reflect as well,
- 23:39Speaker 1: this wedding would have been absolutely huge in WA. And
- 23:43Speaker 1: it's nice to see that no media ruined her dress
- 23:46Speaker 1: reveal because like they did with Tammy Hembrough. Yeah. I
- 23:49Speaker 1: think the difference is that M Davies, she might be
- 23:51Speaker 1: big in the influencer space, like the girl world, but
- 23:54Speaker 1: I don't think she's as big a celebrity to the
- 23:57Speaker 1: likes of the Daily Mail or the everyday person doesn't
- 23:59Speaker 1: seem to know who she is as much as say
- 24:01Speaker 1: someone like Tammy.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:03Speaker 1: She seems to be the people's princess in a way
- 24:05Speaker 1: because she's relatable.
- 24:06Speaker 2: Like, you know, Well, that's been a big change, though.
- 24:09Speaker 1: I think it's only since she really gave birth to
- 24:11Speaker 1: her daughter that I think a lot of people have
- 24:12Speaker 1: seen this other side to M. Davies. Well, she seems
- 24:14Speaker 1: to be one of the most beloved influencers at the moment. Now,
- 24:18Speaker 1: as we predicted, the photos, of course, dropped on Tuesday
- 24:21Speaker 1: night after our episode went to air. Now, she shared
- 24:25Speaker 1: a collection of photos from the day and wrote, Mr.
- 24:27Speaker 1: and Mrs. Gambon, the best weekend, full of love. We
- 24:31Speaker 1: have no words. Here's a sneak peek because I don't
- 24:33Speaker 1: think I can keep you guys waiting any longer. She
- 24:36Speaker 1: looked stunning in all of the photos.
- 24:38Speaker 2: They were beautiful. She looked so elegant. The first photo.
- 24:41Speaker 1: Showed Em and Joel during their ceremony at Fraser Gallop Estate,
- 24:45Speaker 1: and she wore a strapless gown with a corset bodice
- 24:48Speaker 1: and a flared skirt, as well as a long veil
- 24:51Speaker 1: with a lace trim. The dress actually was quite similar
- 24:54Speaker 1: to Tammy's, apart from the fact that it was white
- 24:57Speaker 1: and not pink. And a lot of people drew comparison
- 25:00Speaker 1: between her veil and also Nikki Westcott's veil.
- 25:03Speaker 2: She looked really elegant.
- 25:05Speaker 1: That's what I took from her. I thought Wow, you
- 25:07Speaker 1: look really classy. You look beautiful. It wasn't like over
- 25:11Speaker 1: the top, but it was just really timeless. And the
- 25:15Speaker 1: thing is, she.
- 25:15Speaker 2: Is very fashion forward. She had her own fashion line.
- 25:18Speaker 1: There was so much controversy because she dared to wear
- 25:21Speaker 1: a white G-string to a hen's party. So I think
- 25:23Speaker 1: a lot of people thought maybe her dress was going
- 25:25Speaker 1: to be quite revealing or out there. I was expecting
- 25:28Speaker 1: something more daring, but we haven't seen the other dresses yet.
- 25:31Speaker 1: I think we've got two other dresses which she hasn't
- 25:34Speaker 1: revealed yet. I think it's one of the best influencer
- 25:36Speaker 1: dresses we've seen. Yeah, well, the dress was from New
- 25:39Speaker 1: York designer Danielle Frankel, which was a really nice touch
- 25:42Speaker 1: because they got engaged in New York.
- 25:44Speaker 2: There was a lot of.
- 25:44Speaker 1: Confusion because people seemed to think it was a Vera
- 25:47Speaker 1: Wang dress when she clearly outlined that it was from
- 25:50Speaker 1: this designer. Yeah, well, the Blue Tick Brigade, as usual,
- 25:53Speaker 1: were out in force to congratulate Em.
- 25:55Speaker 2: Tammy wrote, best day, so happy for you.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Whilst Ruby Tuesday Matthews said, oh, sweet baby Jesus. And
- 26:01Speaker 1: Sabby Robertson wrote, amazing, congratulations, beautiful. Now following the wedding,
- 26:06Speaker 1: Em has since changed her name on Instagram. So in
- 26:09Speaker 1: her Instagram bio, it reads Emily Gambon, but her handle
- 26:12Speaker 1: still remains Em Davies. Yeah. I understand why influencers do
- 26:16Speaker 1: that because it'd be really difficult for people to be
- 26:18Speaker 1: able to search you. They're so used to your maiden name.
- 26:21Speaker 1: Tammy Hembrough did the same thing. She has Zakowski in
- 26:24Speaker 1: her bio.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Now we have to talk about the.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Reunion between Lily Brown and Lucy and Nikki. So after
- 26:34Speaker 1: Em's hen's party, there was a lot of speculation around
- 26:37Speaker 1: how the three all navigated that weekend away together because
- 26:41Speaker 1: they have had a very publicized feud. I think they're
- 26:44Speaker 1: all getting sick of talking about it. Yeah, because on
- 26:47Speaker 1: the Happy Hour podcast, Lucy and Nikki said that it
- 26:49Speaker 1: was all very civil at the hen's party. And it
- 26:52Speaker 1: was nowhere near as dramatic as everyone thought it was
- 26:54Speaker 1: going to be. It did sound as though they were
- 26:56Speaker 1: just tolerating each other, though, and they were pleasant for
- 26:59Speaker 1: Em's sake. It didn't sound like they were friends by
- 27:01Speaker 1: any means. And I think that's why it was so
- 27:04Speaker 1: special to see a group photo pop up where Em
- 27:07Speaker 1: was in the middle in her wedding pajamas and she
- 27:09Speaker 1: was surrounded by Lily, Lucy and Nikki. And they all
- 27:12Speaker 1: had their arms around each other and looked like they
- 27:14Speaker 1: were in conversation.
- 27:16Speaker 2: They were laughing. They were smiling.
- 27:18Speaker 1: They looked on good terms and as though they were
- 27:21Speaker 1: trying to make a real effort with each other.
- 27:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:23Speaker 1: And Emery posted the photo and wrote, oh, how this
- 27:25Speaker 1: makes me so happy. I really feel like weddings bring
- 27:29Speaker 1: out the best in people, particularly.
- 27:31Speaker 2: And the worst.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Well, and the worst. But, you know, when you're there
- 27:34Speaker 1: and I mean, I kept seeing Emery sharing a lot
- 27:36Speaker 1: of Instagram stories of her friends basically recapping the wedding,
- 27:40Speaker 1: saying how electric the feeling was in the room and
- 27:42Speaker 1: that it was such a beautiful vibe.
- 27:44Speaker 2: There was so much love.
- 27:45Speaker 1: I think particularly with Em losing her mum, maybe people
- 27:47Speaker 1: put all of their differences aside and thought, let's just
- 27:50Speaker 1: be there for her. This argument is stupid.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I think they've all grown up as well.
- 27:54Speaker 1: Yeah, definitely. This is Amy coming to you from the
- 27:59Speaker 1: future to let you know that just after editing up
- 28:01Speaker 1: this podcast last night, Em Davies dropped some links to
- 28:05Speaker 1: her Vogue photo shoot. So we just want to acknowledge
- 28:08Speaker 1: we are aware of the stunning photos that came out
- 28:10Speaker 1: of Em and Joel's wedding. but we weren't able to
- 28:13Speaker 1: talk about them in today's podcast. Perhaps we'll touch on
- 28:15Speaker 1: it on Tuesday. Let's get into our Friday debrief. Now,
- 28:19Speaker 1: I have realized this week, Sophie, how heavily pregnant I
- 28:23Speaker 1: must look because during a lot of shoots we've had
- 28:26Speaker 1: with our business, I have noticed so many people rushing
- 28:29Speaker 1: to my aid.
- 28:30Speaker 2: Well, so they should.
- 28:31Speaker 1: I mean, you're 32 weeks pregnant and I've been feeling
- 28:33Speaker 1: guilty because With Hula Media, you do all of our
- 28:37Speaker 1: videography work. I am not trained in filming, but I'm
- 28:40Speaker 1: there to assist you.
- 28:41Speaker 2: I produce.
- 28:42Speaker 1: I ask all the questions and I help where I can.
- 28:45Speaker 1: But we have had to buy a buggy to carry
- 28:48Speaker 1: all of our camera equipment in because it looks wrong
- 28:51Speaker 1: to pregnant women struggling with this equipment. Well, I remember
- 28:53Speaker 1: having this conversation when you became pregnant. I was like, fuck,
- 28:57Speaker 1: it's going to be super awkward with the business. when
- 28:59Speaker 1: we both rock up to shoots and we both look
- 29:01Speaker 1: so pregnant because people are going to be like, what
- 29:03Speaker 1: is going on here? Well, I think I'm hiding it
- 29:05Speaker 1: okay at the moment, but it is nice to see
- 29:07Speaker 1: people actually lending you a hand though, because I know
- 29:09Speaker 1: we were out on a work site yesterday and you
- 29:12Speaker 1: were on the ground, sitting on the dirt, getting your
- 29:14Speaker 1: stabilizer together. And This man's like, do you need me
- 29:17Speaker 1: to help you up? I tried to get up and
- 29:20Speaker 1: because of my stomach, I am thrown off center slightly.
- 29:23Speaker 1: And I have been relying on you to help give
- 29:25Speaker 1: me a hand. This man, because I was wearing boots
- 29:28Speaker 1: with a heel on it. I think he was like,
- 29:30Speaker 1: holy fuck, she is going to absolutely stack it.
- 29:32Speaker 2: And he ran over.
- 29:33Speaker 1: I also had a man at the Thai takeaway shop
- 29:36Speaker 1: who offered to take my box of takeaway to the car,
- 29:38Speaker 1: which I thought was so sweet. I haven't had any
- 29:41Speaker 1: assistance yet. I haven't had anyone comment yet saying congratulations
- 29:44Speaker 1: in the store or anything like when I'm shopping or
- 29:46Speaker 1: anything like that.
- 29:47Speaker 2: You don't really look pregnant though.
- 29:49Speaker 1: Oh, I've really been feeling it the past couple of days.
- 29:52Speaker 1: I feel like there's a moment where your stomach just
- 29:54Speaker 1: pops and I feel like that that is happening right now.
- 29:56Speaker 2: Well, you're still at that phase.
- 29:57Speaker 1: Where it would be rude for somebody to bring it up.
- 29:59Speaker 1: Like they might be a bit on the fence about
- 30:01Speaker 1: what's going on. Now, I wanted to chat about a
- 30:04Speaker 1: documentary I have become obsessed with this week and it
- 30:07Speaker 1: is the American Manhunt OJ Simpson. I have been telling
- 30:11Speaker 1: anyone and everyone about this documentary. I've watched so many
- 30:16Speaker 1: OJ Simpson series before. whether they're like dramas or they're documentaries.
- 30:20Speaker 1: I'm so interested in the case. And this documentary featured
- 30:25Speaker 1: new interviews with a lot of key figures from the
- 30:27Speaker 1: investigation and also the trial. And what I found super
- 30:31Speaker 1: interesting was that OJ's former manager, Mike Gilbert, was interviewed
- 30:36Speaker 1: and he admitted that after the trial and, you know,
- 30:41Speaker 1: there was a few years after, he finally got the
- 30:43Speaker 1: courage to ask OJ about what actually happened that night.
- 30:48Speaker 1: So this was, OJ was having to sell his house
- 30:51Speaker 1: that he lived in with Nicole. And I think apparently
- 30:54Speaker 1: it was a very emotional night. And OJ said, well,
- 30:57Speaker 1: what do you think happened? And he said, he didn't
- 30:59Speaker 1: want to bullshit him. So he said, I think you
- 31:01Speaker 1: didn't mate. And OJ replied something along the lines of, well,
- 31:05Speaker 1: if Nicole didn't answer the door with that knife, she'd
- 31:08Speaker 1: still be alive today. Which was just so telling. Like
- 31:12Speaker 1: my husband and I were just so appalled watching it
- 31:16Speaker 1: and so angry that the defense case was able to
- 31:19Speaker 1: make it about race instead of being about the victims.
- 31:23Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 31:23Speaker 1: I mean, you watch that back and you think, how
- 31:25Speaker 1: the hell did he not go to jail?
- 31:27Speaker 2: I mean, he clearly did it.
- 31:28Speaker 1: And I think what makes this documentary so interesting is
- 31:31Speaker 1: this is one of the first documentaries that's been released
- 31:33Speaker 1: since OJ Simpson's death. And obviously, defamation laws don't apply
- 31:37Speaker 1: to the dead. So they're going there with this documentary. Well,
- 31:40Speaker 1: I also think that there were a lot of friends
- 31:42Speaker 1: in OJ's life who felt uncomfortable to speak out against
- 31:46Speaker 1: him when he was still alive, even though maybe they'd
- 31:49Speaker 1: parted ways. I think that they didn't want the wrath
- 31:52Speaker 1: of him afterwards. Well, I think that's all we've got
- 31:55Speaker 1: time for today. Thank you so much for listening to
- 31:57Speaker 1: another episode of Outspoken. Now, anyone who has listened to
- 32:01Speaker 1: our subs episode, I just want to say, hashtag free
- 32:03Speaker 1: my carpet cleaner. I've still not received it. And I
- 32:06Speaker 1: do want to point out that I could barely get
- 32:09Speaker 1: a word in during that. It was very difficult to
- 32:12Speaker 1: edit up that segment. Look, I am so overhearing about
- 32:15Speaker 1: this carpet cleaner. So for those who don't know, we
- 32:18Speaker 1: had an Am I the Arsehole segment in our subs episode,
- 32:21Speaker 1: and Kate and Sophie decided to bring quite a personal
- 32:24Speaker 1: issue over to the subs. It was basically about Kate
- 32:26Speaker 1: not returning Sophie's carpet cleaner. One of Kate's excuses was
- 32:30Speaker 1: that Sophie no longer has carpet in her house, so
- 32:32Speaker 1: that means that she should get to keep the carpet cleaner.
- 32:35Speaker 2: A pretty shit defence.
- 32:36Speaker 1: I thought. Oh, I mean, her nose was growing by
- 32:38Speaker 1: the second during that podcast. I'm going to call her Pinocchio. Well,
- 32:41Speaker 1: she's not here to defend herself. Well, she claimed that
- 32:43Speaker 1: she has not been using it. I know from a
- 32:45Speaker 1: good source she's been using it nonstop and she's relying
- 32:48Speaker 1: on this carpet cleaner anyway.
- 32:50Speaker 2: Is the source her dogs?
- 32:53Speaker 1: Anyway, it was quite a funny debate in there. But
- 32:56Speaker 1: I was absolutely shocked to my core to see someone
- 32:59Speaker 1: in our Facebook community siding with Kate. So if anyone
- 33:02Speaker 1: is Team Sophie and thinks, and praise for the release
- 33:05Speaker 1: of My Carpet Cleaner. Could you please let me know?
- 33:08Speaker 2: We should put up a poll on the Instagram.
- 33:10Speaker 1: Yes, we will. I actually sent a screenshot to my
- 33:12Speaker 1: husband being like, Can you believe that someone is on
- 33:15Speaker 1: Kate's side? Like, what the fuck?
- 33:17Speaker 2: It was a very polite message. A very lovely listener.
- 33:19Speaker 1: I'm no offence to this listener. But again, there was
- 33:22Speaker 1: a lot of deception during that podcast recording. Kate was
- 33:25Speaker 1: pulling on a lot of heartstrings. She kept mentioning that
- 33:27Speaker 1: she has an eight-month-old son. I think that was getting
- 33:29Speaker 1: a lot of sympathy. I think I would have got
- 33:31Speaker 1: drunk if I took a shot. Every time she said
- 33:33Speaker 1: she had an eight-month-old child, I had to cut out
- 33:35Speaker 1: a few mentions of it.
- 33:35Speaker 2: I couldn't believe it. Well, can I set the scene?
- 33:37Speaker 1: Because I actually had to leave halfway through this recording
- 33:40Speaker 1: because I had something to do.
- 33:41Speaker 2: With work on.
- 33:43Speaker 1: You guys were like in my house screaming over this
- 33:47Speaker 1: carpet cleaner. And I was like, no one wants to
- 33:50Speaker 1: hear it. Like, so the conversation was heavily edited. Oh,
- 33:53Speaker 1: I had to cut out so much. And it was
- 33:54Speaker 1: so frustrating because anytime Amy and I would make a
- 33:57Speaker 1: point about the carpet cleaner, Kate would yell over. So
- 34:00Speaker 1: it ended up being her sob story. When in actual fact,
- 34:05Speaker 1: She had the carpet cleaner at 10 weeks pregnant. Okay,
- 34:07Speaker 1: I don't think anyone wants to hear about it anymore.
- 34:10Speaker 1: She refuses to let me come and pick it up.
- 34:11Speaker 1: I've asked so many times saying, I'll pick it up.
- 34:13Speaker 1: I'm happy to pick it up. This is becoming like
- 34:14Speaker 1: the Michaela and Karina fight where the water is being
- 34:18Speaker 1: completely muddied here. Shall I slam her on my Instagram story?
- 34:21Speaker 1: Should I put out a few fucking comments about it? Okay, well,
- 34:24Speaker 1: if you are interested in hearing that fight, which probably
- 34:26Speaker 1: after this description no one is, make sure you check
- 34:29Speaker 1: out our subs episode. And if you haven't already and
- 34:32Speaker 1: you do like listening to the podcast, we would really
- 34:34Speaker 1: appreciate if you could leave us a five-star review because
- 34:37Speaker 1: it really helps out the podcast. This episode was recorded
- 34:40Speaker 1: on the traditional land of the Kaurna people of the
- 34:42Speaker 1: Adelaide Plains. We pay respect to elders past and present.
