- 0:06Speaker 1: Market, uncertainty is setting in and of course the market
- 0:08Speaker 1: is in a very interesting position. We'll break it down
- 0:11Speaker 1: for you. My name is Paul Barrel. Welcome back into
- 0:13Speaker 1: tech path. EITH may be on the forefront here, so
- 0:15Speaker 1: you don't want to miss this one. I do want
- 0:17Speaker 1: to thank our sponsor, and that is Coinbase. It is
- 0:19Speaker 1: a great place for you guys to get started into
- 0:21Speaker 1: crypto journey. If you haven't done a trade over on Coinbase,
- 0:24Speaker 1: just jump over there. It's very easy to set up
- 0:26Speaker 1: and you guys can begin your journey. Buy your first bitcoin,
- 0:29Speaker 1: buy your first ethereum. All you have to do is
- 0:32Speaker 1: use our link and get up to two hundred bucks
- 0:34Speaker 1: in crypto just to get started once you make your trades,
- 0:37Speaker 1: so use our link down below. Let's get going. I
- 0:39Speaker 1: want to go into a couple of key things that
- 0:41Speaker 1: are happening this week. One of course I want you
- 0:43Speaker 1: to watch for is in video earnings and Video is
- 0:45Speaker 1: getting ready to report on Wednesday.
- 0:47Speaker 2: This could be a good thing for the mag seven.
- 0:50Speaker 1: It's also could be a good thing in general for
- 0:52Speaker 1: AI and I'll explain why this matters here in a moment,
- 0:56Speaker 1: But keep an eye on tomorrow's earnings from in video.
- 0:58Speaker 1: The other thing that could be pushing the market into
- 1:00Speaker 1: a very unusual time is this right here. In forty
- 1:05Speaker 1: five days, Japan's thirty year government bond yields rows one
- 1:09Speaker 1: hundred basis points. This is a record three point two
- 1:11Speaker 1: percent over five hundred billion worth of safe forty year
- 1:14Speaker 1: Japanese government bonds. Now I have lost twenty percent. Now what
- 1:17Speaker 1: does that mean for us? What that means is the
- 1:20Speaker 1: Japanese hold a lot of US treasuries to offset some
- 1:24Speaker 1: of those losses, going to sell US treasuries. That would
- 1:27Speaker 1: put a lot of pressure on the US government. And
- 1:31Speaker 1: how this could affect is even all the way down
- 1:34Speaker 1: into a FED rate increase.
- 1:37Speaker 2: Let me play a clip for you to explain.
- 1:39Speaker 3: So the massive climb in bond yields in Japan indicates
- 1:42Speaker 3: a massive sell off. Like if Japan sells off too much,
- 1:45Speaker 3: we are going to start to see a lot of
- 1:47Speaker 3: unraveling happening.
- 1:48Speaker 2: What will that do?
- 1:49Speaker 3: It will further exacerbate the market's reluctance to own US treasuries,
- 1:54Speaker 3: which means yields go even higher, which means interorth rates
- 1:57Speaker 3: for businesses and individuals go higher. Correct, and the only
- 2:01Speaker 3: way to keep those interest rates low will be for
- 2:04Speaker 3: the Federal Reserve to try and step in and buy
- 2:07Speaker 3: those bonds, which will devalue the dollar. That's the consequence
- 2:13Speaker 3: I think of this particular bill because it signals a
- 2:16Speaker 3: lack of reluctance to actually address me. Let me say
- 2:19Speaker 3: something here.
- 2:19Speaker 1: These guys go in and will hit a flood of
- 2:22Speaker 1: supply that is overwhelming buyers. This is basically going to
- 2:25Speaker 1: be holding over four point one trillion in bonds. That's
- 2:27Speaker 1: fifty two percent of the entire market. Now, why is
- 2:30Speaker 1: that important to what we're doing in DC. Well, right now,
- 2:34Speaker 1: it is important that the Senate steps away from this
- 2:38Speaker 1: potential bill that is going to cause this catastrophe that
- 2:44Speaker 1: could happen. And what they're saying right now is GFP
- 2:47Speaker 1: Senator hits the Trumps tax bill saying that there's enough
- 2:50Speaker 1: Republican votes to stop the process.
- 2:52Speaker 2: This would be a good thing.
- 2:54Speaker 1: That's the way out of this to be able to
- 2:56Speaker 1: create more of a macro positive environment and get Japanese.
- 3:00Speaker 1: But the key here, I think long term, is to
- 3:02Speaker 1: start to reduce the Japanese ownership in US treasures, because
- 3:05Speaker 1: that's the thing you can't have going forward. Now I
- 3:07Speaker 1: want to go to this next clip because this will
- 3:09Speaker 1: get into what they're up against just to make this happen.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Take a look.
- 3:15Speaker 4: I mean, they've kind of hercule fantastic.
- 3:16Speaker 5: If you were a betting man and you were to
- 3:18Speaker 5: look at a calendar, when do you think all this
- 3:21Speaker 5: gets resolved?
- 3:22Speaker 4: Well after the fourth of July.
- 3:23Speaker 5: Well after they may have to run before Labor Day.
- 3:29Speaker 4: We'll probably get to August and they'll say it's now
- 3:31Speaker 4: October September. But putting this together is going to be
- 3:36Speaker 4: extremely difficult in four weeks before the fourth of July,
- 3:39Speaker 4: So maybe August, my opinion, is more likely later in
- 3:42Speaker 4: the year.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Like in September October.
- 3:44Speaker 5: Yeh wow.
- 3:45Speaker 1: All right, So what does this do to the current market? Well,
- 3:48Speaker 1: it could delay a few things. When it could delay
- 3:51Speaker 1: the stable coins, the Genius Act. It could also roll
- 3:53Speaker 1: over like a domino effect and delay the market structure
- 3:57Speaker 1: bill and all of this affects crypto in general. Timing
- 4:01Speaker 1: could be right in the fact that it could happen
- 4:03Speaker 1: in the summer and we get a reprieve on that,
- 4:05Speaker 1: maybe toward the third quarter, but still this creates a
- 4:10Speaker 1: lot of uncertainty in the market and we could see
- 4:13Speaker 1: that impact very quickly.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Here's a clip to kind of explain that.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Harry, if there were a way to measure the level
- 4:21Speaker 1: of uncertainty that people feel.
- 4:23Speaker 5: Okay, trade policy uncertainty index through the roof up eight
- 4:28Speaker 5: hundred and forty six percent versus a year ago. These
- 4:32Speaker 5: two entities. What's essentially going on is he is threatening
- 4:35Speaker 5: the US economy and that is why we've seen the
- 4:37Speaker 5: markets do a little bit of this.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Keep guy all right, good, all right, Harry, you can
- 4:43Speaker 1: stop out, all right.
- 4:44Speaker 2: So markets yes doing a little bit of that.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Even though Bitcoin has been pretty much on an all
- 4:49Speaker 1: time high run. However, there was some news here recently
- 4:52Speaker 1: from Google saying that quantum computers could actually put a
- 4:55Speaker 1: little bit of a stifle in bitcoin in the future
- 4:59Speaker 1: much faster and a couple of points they hit within
- 5:01Speaker 1: a couple of tweets, is this new encryption? This rsa
- 5:05Speaker 1: encryption that could theoretically break bitcoin.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Now, this again has been.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Thought of, We've talked about it before here on the show,
- 5:12Speaker 1: but the first time that we've really seen activity from
- 5:16Speaker 1: the technical companies like Google is right here. We just
- 5:19Speaker 1: launched a q DA price. This is going to be
- 5:21Speaker 1: a Bitcoin to the first team to break a toy
- 5:23Speaker 1: version of Bitcoin's cryptography. So this is the first time
- 5:27Speaker 1: we've seen this roll into it. And remember, advanced computing
- 5:32Speaker 1: is going to be the future here. That's why we'll
- 5:34Speaker 1: see so much more in the way of AI. And
- 5:37Speaker 1: this was such a concern that even Blackrock had to
- 5:41Speaker 1: put out a statement and here's what they said. If
- 5:43Speaker 1: quantum computing is able to advance in that way, there
- 5:45Speaker 1: is a risk that quantum computing could result in the
- 5:48Speaker 1: underlying Bitcoin network becoming ineffective. If that happens and we
- 5:52Speaker 1: have any kind of compromise, this is something trust others
- 5:55Speaker 1: with a Bitcoin network, which would result in losses to shareholders.
- 5:58Speaker 1: So they're putting out a statement now that is very
- 6:02Speaker 1: very telling of where this could go. Now, think about
- 6:05Speaker 1: this from an ETF standpoint. Here's the bitcoin ETF rolling out.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Over this last little bit, we saw rise and then
- 6:12Speaker 1: over the last little bit we've started to see a
- 6:14Speaker 1: little bit of a falloff. Since the twenty first take
- 6:17Speaker 1: a look at ethereum. You can kind of see here's
- 6:19Speaker 1: a little bit of a move right here in the
- 6:21Speaker 1: last few days. Is this the beginning of Ethereum's run
- 6:25Speaker 1: that's the question I think everybody's asking. Now, there's a
- 6:27Speaker 1: lot of reasons why there is not only an uncertainty
- 6:32Speaker 1: situation that could cause a pump for ethereum. Here's a
- 6:35Speaker 1: couple of points. This was breaking ethereum valid airs. Now
- 6:39Speaker 1: are supporting raising gas limit from thirty six ms to
- 6:42Speaker 1: sixty m.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Now what does that mean?
- 6:44Speaker 1: This gets into the point that this could all happen
- 6:47Speaker 1: from now on. Expect these regular gas limit bumps. Ten
- 6:50Speaker 1: percent of stake is already voting for a sixty m limit.
- 6:54Speaker 1: All of this could happen in the future on a
- 6:57Speaker 1: regular basis, so even low cost in terms of L
- 7:01Speaker 1: one's gas limits. The other thing is speed. These are
- 7:05Speaker 1: the transactions per second. This is tps that was scored
- 7:08Speaker 1: against what we're seeing within the L one right now,
- 7:12Speaker 1: ninety four percent. We're coming in under twelve seconds. Now
- 7:15Speaker 1: that all starts to point in the right direction. Here's
- 7:18Speaker 1: a breakdown of what they see going forward.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Take a look.
- 7:22Speaker 6: We want to start off by showing sp one hypercubes
- 7:24Speaker 6: groundbreaking ability to prove ethereum blocks in real time. Sp
- 7:28Speaker 6: one hypercube is able to prove over ninety three percent
- 7:31Speaker 6: of the blocks in under twelve seconds, with an average
- 7:33Speaker 6: block taking just ten point three seconds. Just a year ago,
- 7:36Speaker 6: we were over ten x away from this level of performance.
- 7:39Speaker 6: You and will now demo proving an ethereum block and
- 7:41Speaker 6: it's terminal.
- 7:42Speaker 7: I'm going to request a proof for this Ethereum mainenat
- 7:44Speaker 7: block from about a month ago. It uses thirty two
- 7:47Speaker 7: million gas, contains hundreds of transactions, and we're going to
- 7:50Speaker 7: generate a proof of its execution in less than twelve
- 7:53Speaker 7: seconds across a bare metal cluster of two hundred GPUs.
- 7:56Speaker 7: Looks like it's already done. A one megabyte proof generated
- 7:59Speaker 7: in just under eleven seconds.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Could also move Ethereum into a position to be quantum resistant.
- 8:05Speaker 1: So think about that one of the blockchains that could
- 8:07Speaker 1: become quantum resistant, especially on this news or in the
- 8:10Speaker 1: heels of that news of what Google is talking about
- 8:13Speaker 1: with bitcoins. So there's just a lot of things that
- 8:15Speaker 1: are loose right now. Be paying attention to that. Now.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Another thing that's playing out.
- 8:20Speaker 1: In the eth ecosystem is this move right here. This
- 8:22Speaker 1: is Sharplink Gaming. Sharplink Gaming Course announced four underd and
- 8:25Speaker 1: twenty five million dollar private placement to initiate an Ethereum
- 8:29Speaker 1: treasure strategy, think micro strategy for Ethereum. So these guys
- 8:33Speaker 1: are gaming just like micro strategy as a tech company
- 8:36Speaker 1: and gaming. These guys are all about gaming. Now, one
- 8:38Speaker 1: thing they did do is they asked Joseph Lubin of
- 8:42Speaker 1: Consensus to set on the board. So that clearly shows
- 8:45Speaker 1: a big directive going toward the future of Ethereum. Now,
- 8:49Speaker 1: let's take a look at Sharplink in general. If you
- 8:52Speaker 1: go to their website right here proven fan Activation Solutions.
- 8:56Speaker 1: A couple of points I want to hit on is
- 8:57Speaker 1: some of the brands. These are partners, These are big
- 9:01Speaker 1: betting organizations, gaming companies, et cetera. But as you start
- 9:05Speaker 1: to go further down, now we're getting into direct to
- 9:07Speaker 1: player marketing. These are actual sites that you will recognize,
- 9:11Speaker 1: and that is places like FanDuel, bet MGM, Draftking, Sportbook.
- 9:17Speaker 1: All of that could mean that we could see a
- 9:20Speaker 1: Web three version or possibly even a Web two version
- 9:22Speaker 1: that could eventually make its way into Web three, all
- 9:24Speaker 1: designed around the ecosystem with Ethereum. So just look at
- 9:28Speaker 1: that sharplink gaming. Just in the last few days, right
- 9:31Speaker 1: there a big bump in recent activity for obvious reasons.
- 9:36Speaker 1: This might be opening up some very very positive news
- 9:40Speaker 1: for sharplink, all based on ethereum. Now, another thing that
- 9:42Speaker 1: you got to consider is Solana just now live on
- 9:46Speaker 1: meta mass. Now remember meta mass could be the extension
- 9:50Speaker 1: that ties all of this together for things like Web
- 9:53Speaker 1: three betting and the potential use case of what we'll
- 9:57Speaker 1: see maybe from maybe even our transition of Web two.
- 10:00Speaker 1: So you've got two ecosystems that all play into this.
- 10:03Speaker 1: One note on Solana is it could lag right now
- 10:05Speaker 1: as especially ethereum with meme coin activity dropping this coming
- 10:09Speaker 1: in from standard charter, does that mean that eth is
- 10:12Speaker 1: finally in a position to make a run and could.
- 10:15Speaker 2: It outperform Salona.
- 10:16Speaker 1: Let me know what you guys think down in the comments,
- 10:18Speaker 1: because I think this is going to really start to
- 10:20Speaker 1: play out very quickly.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Let's take a look at.
- 10:23Speaker 1: The ETH chart because by the way, don't remember also
- 10:26Speaker 1: that when you look thinking of use case, think about Google,
- 10:31Speaker 1: Microsoft and even companies like McDonald's who had shunned away
- 10:35Speaker 1: from the idea of putting bitcoin in their treasury and
- 10:37Speaker 1: possibly using it, and it had been talking and actually
- 10:40Speaker 1: implementing on ethereum, So that could be another factor with
- 10:44Speaker 1: what sharpling gaming is doing that ties to all of this.
- 10:46Speaker 1: If you look at the chart, eth of course had
- 10:49Speaker 1: anice little move here over the last four days, good
- 10:52Speaker 1: little run up. Maybe this is the beginning and this
- 10:56Speaker 1: if you compare this also with what's going on with virtuals.
- 10:59Speaker 2: Let me show you something. Virtuals. They have these version
- 11:01Speaker 2: points that have now been launched.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Now what this means is you're going to get access
- 11:05Speaker 1: to pre to con generated events and this is going
- 11:08Speaker 1: to be all allocation and GIGAAI agent launches. So the
- 11:11Speaker 1: potential here as AI agents launch on this, you guys
- 11:15Speaker 1: are going to if you're holding these version points as
- 11:18Speaker 1: you're doing activities, and some of the activities you can do,
- 11:21Speaker 1: example right here you apping points. You can also stake
- 11:24Speaker 1: things like virtual and others including AI agents. And if
- 11:28Speaker 1: you guys will remember if we've talked about bite before,
- 11:31Speaker 1: this is one of those. This is kind of the
- 11:33Speaker 1: future of where AI is going and maybe even quantum
- 11:35Speaker 1: computer if you think about it.
- 11:36Speaker 2: The point being is.
- 11:37Speaker 1: That we could see devices that are all voice enabled
- 11:40Speaker 1: and if that is going to be the case, look
- 11:43Speaker 1: for AI agents like one of these that could be
- 11:46Speaker 1: able to generate more impact on crypto and of course
- 11:50Speaker 1: virtuals is the one we're picking to be the winner there,
- 11:53Speaker 1: So big news out there for sure. Last up I
- 11:56Speaker 1: want to hit on, and that of course is stable
- 11:58Speaker 1: coins and stable coin because we have the genius actors
- 12:00Speaker 1: on the verge of hopefully hopefully passing, but Hong Kong
- 12:03Speaker 1: has rug pulled us. They've passed the stable Coin Bill now,
- 12:06Speaker 1: which titans their grip on the digital dollar, and it
- 12:09Speaker 1: puts a lot of pressure on US lawmakers to be
- 12:12Speaker 1: able to do the same thing. They are now passing
- 12:14Speaker 1: a new law requiring stable coin issues to be licensed.
- 12:17Speaker 1: So major shift and digital assets, and it's all happening
- 12:21Speaker 1: in China, So pay attention, guys.
- 12:24Speaker 2: It's real.
- 12:24Speaker 1: Ethereum flashes all coin season signals as ETH potentially could
- 12:29Speaker 1: hit around forty one hundred and even if you consider
- 12:33Speaker 1: where we are on the all coin season, the opportunity
- 12:37Speaker 1: here for ETH is setting up in a very good way.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Let me know what you guys think down in the comments.
- 12:43Speaker 1: If you're not part of the Diamond Circle, make sure
- 12:44Speaker 1: and get in on that. It's a great place to
- 12:46Speaker 1: get additional content for me, and of course follow me
- 12:49Speaker 1: out there on x at Paul Baron. We'll catch you
- 12:51Speaker 1: next time, right here on tech Path.
- 13:00Speaker 7: Yeah,
