- 0:06Speaker 1: Hello, gorgeous.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Welcome back to Untraditionally Lala. I have my pod with me,
- 0:11Speaker 2: my little everythings.
- 0:13Speaker 1: I'm hitting things.
- 0:15Speaker 3: Mom. Yes. Can I just tell you?
- 0:19Speaker 2: So we had a party at the house on Saturday.
- 0:21Speaker 3: And you guys know I don't have a hostessing bone
- 0:26Speaker 3: in my body. You can tell if you watch Vanderpump Rules.
- 0:33Speaker 2: But anytime I'm like, I'm going to have a get
- 0:35Speaker 2: together at the house, I literally freeze up. So I
- 0:39Speaker 2: was talking to Easton's friend, Justin, that I was going
- 0:41Speaker 2: to have people over and I wanted it to look nice.
- 0:44Speaker 2: And he said, I have this friend who's an incredible
- 0:48Speaker 2: party planner.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Just call her. I call her. I give her no
- 0:52Speaker 3: direction at.
- 0:52Speaker 2: All because I don't even know the direction we're going. Anyway,
- 0:56Speaker 2: It comes together beautifully. The food was fantastic.
- 1:00Speaker 3: The florals were like the most beautiful florals on the planet.
- 1:05Speaker 4: Those flowers I've never seen prettier.
- 1:07Speaker 3: They were gorgeous.
- 1:08Speaker 4: And fresh.
- 1:09Speaker 3: Love a fresh flower.
- 1:10Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:11Speaker 3: Would you get these in downtown LA? Like that's where
- 1:14Speaker 3: everyone who has a restaurant goes. You have to be
- 1:16Speaker 3: there bright and early to get the best. I learned
- 1:18Speaker 3: that from Lisa Vanderpump.
- 1:20Speaker 2: But my mom pulls out her outfit, what she's going
- 1:24Speaker 2: to wear, because apparently California chic and LA chic are.
- 1:28Speaker 3: A thing, you guys.
- 1:30Speaker 2: So when I asked the party planner, I'm like, what
- 1:31Speaker 2: do I tell people the vibe is? And she said,
- 1:33Speaker 2: California chic. And I was like, I don't know what
- 1:35Speaker 2: that means.
- 1:35Speaker 4: So I just put.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Chic attire on it.
- 1:38Speaker 1: I feel like you needed the California.
- 1:40Speaker 3: I didn't know it was a thing.
- 1:42Speaker 5: Because California chic and then chic, two different things.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Well, everyone looked chic.
- 1:46Speaker 3: I Googled.
- 1:47Speaker 2: But then I get invited to two events after I
- 1:52Speaker 2: had already sent out my invites.
- 1:54Speaker 3: And on the invitation, it says LA chic and California chic.
- 1:58Speaker 3: I'm like, oh.
- 1:59Speaker 4: Did you Google what that meant?
- 2:01Speaker 2: When I looked it up, because the party planner said, like,
- 2:04Speaker 2: it just means, like, no jeans or sweatpants. But, like, you,
- 2:09Speaker 2: everyone has, like, their own vibe. Just, like, have them
- 2:12Speaker 2: do their thing.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Well, the vibe that I am, I couldn't even do.
- 2:16Speaker 3: Well, you looked amazing. I loved your outfit.
- 2:18Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 2:18Speaker 6: Yes.
- 2:19Speaker 3: But when I Googled California chic, it was all jeans.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Really?
- 2:24Speaker 3: Yeah. And that's why I didn't put California chic on
- 2:26Speaker 3: the invite.
- 2:26Speaker 4: Can I tell you something?
- 2:27Speaker 6: I went to a really fine restaurant and I was
- 2:30Speaker 6: in jeans and I was looking at everybody else and
- 2:33Speaker 6: they were like dressed up. And I told the guy
- 2:36Speaker 6: at the door, I said, Oh, I'm underdressed. And he said, no,
- 2:39Speaker 6: you're California chic.
- 2:41Speaker 3: Oh, see, so it's been a long, it's been something for.
- 2:44Speaker 1: A long time and I just didn't realize it.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Years? No, this was like a few weeks ago in
- 2:49Speaker 3: the last month. Yeah. Um, So anyway, that was the attire.
- 2:53Speaker 3: But I told people, I'm like, if you show up, like,
- 2:56Speaker 3: I'm not going to have an aneurysm if a pair
- 2:58Speaker 3: of jeans walks through the door. Like, you're fine.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Anyway, mom pulls out the cutest outfit that she got
- 3:04Speaker 2: from TJ Maxx, because she's a little Maxinista.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Too bad you don't have a camera on her now.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Damn it.
- 3:11Speaker 2: She puts it on, and I don't know, like, what
- 3:14Speaker 2: about you has changed, but, like, your vibe was so cool,
- 3:19Speaker 2: and you looked so beautiful, and... Everyone at the party
- 3:23Speaker 2: was like, your mom. Because I've spoken about it, that
- 3:27Speaker 2: we were a little nervous for a moment, and everybody
- 3:30Speaker 2: was commenting how beautiful you looked, how cute you are.
- 3:34Speaker 3: They are nice.
- 3:35Speaker 6: Jared was asking about my makeup, if I had it
- 3:39Speaker 6: professionally done.
- 3:40Speaker 4: I said, you did, and he was very impressed.
- 3:43Speaker 5: Really?
- 3:44Speaker 1: He told me, though, he did forget his glasses.
- 3:46Speaker 4: Oh, stop.
- 3:47Speaker 3: You're such a dick. No, how we've been doing your
- 3:53Speaker 3: makeup has been so good.
- 3:54Speaker 4: No, you've nailed it.
- 3:57Speaker 3: It's simple.
- 3:57Speaker 1: So you did get it professionally done.
- 3:59Speaker 3: Yeah, right. I'm a one-trick pony. I don't get anything
- 4:04Speaker 3: beyond what I've been doing for the past... 20 years.
- 4:08Speaker 4: I have no idea.
- 4:09Speaker 2: I will never get rid of a winged liner. People
- 4:13Speaker 2: are like, winged line is out.
- 4:15Speaker 3: I'm like, winged liner is all I can do. So
- 4:19Speaker 3: call me Adele because it's not going anywhere.
- 4:21Speaker 4: I love it.
- 4:22Speaker 3: All right.
- 4:22Speaker 1: I love it too.
- 4:25Speaker 4: But can I tell you, I love that party.
- 4:28Speaker 3: What did you love about it?
- 4:30Speaker 4: Just everybody mingling, the food, just the vibe.
- 4:34Speaker 1: Of it all. I'm a real big fan of.
- 4:37Speaker 3: It was, right?
- 4:39Speaker 1: What do they call it when they walk around?
- 4:40Speaker 3: Trey passing.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Big fan, big fan.
- 4:43Speaker 3: Yeah, I had... And I brought.
- 4:45Speaker 4: People onto like... Was to die for.
- 4:47Speaker 1: I am so glad.
- 4:49Speaker 3: Oh, the miso cod?
- 4:50Speaker 1: Yes.
- 4:51Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Because I was ripping and raving and nobody was saying anything.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Ripping and raving.
- 4:54Speaker 3: Isn't it ranting and raving?
- 4:56Speaker 4: Ranting.
- 4:57Speaker 5: Well, ranting and raving, ripping and roaring.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Fuck it.
- 5:01Speaker 5: The cod was talked about. And no one was giving
- 5:04Speaker 5: me what I wanted because I wanted somebody to love
- 5:07Speaker 5: it like I did.
- 5:08Speaker 1: And mom came in and did. So that is when
- 5:10Speaker 1: I got it. It was the best part of the
- 5:13Speaker 1: meal was the cod.
- 5:14Speaker 2: I liked the tuna tartare in a wonton taco.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Couldn't have it.
- 5:20Speaker 4: It had avocado.
- 5:20Speaker 1: It had avocado. You missed out.
- 5:22Speaker 4: The spring rolls had avocado.
- 5:24Speaker 3: Oh, the spring rolls.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Were so good. No, I heard all of it was fantastic.
- 5:27Speaker 3: It was so good. I paid you guys for an
- 5:32Speaker 3: open bar. And everyone who arrived was shocked. They were like,
- 5:36Speaker 3: Lala has a bar? Like they all brought their own booze.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Did they? Yeah.
- 5:41Speaker 2: A lot of people like brought their own like little
- 5:44Speaker 2: bottle of wine or like.
- 5:46Speaker 3: Whatever they had in their back.
- 5:48Speaker 1: I just brought my flask.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Janet did offer to pay, but I was like, get
- 5:54Speaker 2: the fuck out of here. Like you're not paying for
- 5:56Speaker 2: the bar.
- 5:56Speaker 3: It's all good. They made mocktails. It was fantastic.
- 6:00Speaker 4: And they had your face.
- 6:01Speaker 5: Oh, they had rice cakes, right? Wasn't it rice cakes
- 6:04Speaker 5: with your face imprinted on them?
- 6:06Speaker 3: No, not a rice. It was like a rice cake.
- 6:09Speaker 3: Could you imagine that getting into your drink? Like, what
- 6:11Speaker 3: is this rice cake?
- 6:12Speaker 4: I think it's gelatin.
- 6:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Go ask Joe. They said rice something.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Oh, it could have been made of rice.
- 6:17Speaker 4: Rice paper, maybe.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Yes.
- 6:18Speaker 3: Oh, rice paper.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Okay.
- 6:20Speaker 3: A rice cake, I think of like Quaker that we
- 6:22Speaker 3: put our.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Peanut butter on. Yeah, no, let's thin those out.
- 6:25Speaker 3: I'm like, that doesn't sound very nice.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Rice paper is better. But yes, rice was in that.
- 6:30Speaker 3: Yeah, the mocktails were great. They were gorgeous. Everyone looked fantastic.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:35Speaker 3: I would like to do something again.
- 6:36Speaker 2: And your friend Justin said that we should put something
- 6:41Speaker 2: on the basketball court and then have like the basketball
- 6:44Speaker 2: hoop obviously partitioned off. But then you hang a chandelier
- 6:49Speaker 2: and have like a fucking party back there.
- 6:51Speaker 4: Hype and drape is what he called it.
- 6:52Speaker 3: Hype and drape. I want to do all of that.
- 6:55Speaker 3: I was like, now I just want to have like
- 6:56Speaker 3: little events in my backyard. Then I'll never leave.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Right?
- 7:00Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 7:01Speaker 3: Like why go to dinner? I'll just host a dinner
- 7:03Speaker 3: party at my house.
- 7:04Speaker 4: You should.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Sounds fabulous, right?
- 7:06Speaker 4: And use the same gal.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Use the whole thing.
- 7:09Speaker 2: And I didn't, I did appreciate people coming and not
- 7:15Speaker 2: thinking there was going to be an open bar because
- 7:18Speaker 2: obviously we're like a sober household.
- 7:20Speaker 6: Well, I think you, I think you, you did a
- 7:25Speaker 6: good thing as far as you don't have a bar
- 7:27Speaker 6: when you have birthday parties for the kids.
- 7:30Speaker 4: There's no need for a bar.
- 7:32Speaker 1: No.
- 7:32Speaker 4: Or alcohol.
- 7:33Speaker 6: No.
- 7:34Speaker 4: But this event, I think you did a good job.
- 7:38Speaker 1: You catered to the masses.
- 7:40Speaker 3: Yeah. I did, right?
- 7:41Speaker 1: Yes.
- 7:42Speaker 4: And they were thrilled.
- 7:45Speaker 3: Serving alcohol at kids' parties never makes sense to me. No.
- 7:48Speaker 3: And I don't want, like, I don't need you guys
- 7:50Speaker 3: leaving my house with your children after you've been, like,
- 7:53Speaker 3: boozing it up at my crib.
- 7:55Speaker 1: No.
- 7:56Speaker 3: Just not happening.
- 7:57Speaker 4: My favorite drink was the watermelon drink.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Same.
- 8:01Speaker 4: I can't remember the name.
- 8:02Speaker 1: I couldn't remember any of the names.
- 8:04Speaker 3: She came up with all the names. The party planner.
- 8:07Speaker 4: Yeah, it was awesome. Yeah.
- 8:10Speaker 2: And alcohol around doesn't... Can you guys believe that I'm
- 8:14Speaker 2: approaching next week?
- 8:16Speaker 1: Right? Isn't it eight?
- 8:17Speaker 3: Yes, that's crazy. Oh, thanks.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Very proud of you.
- 8:23Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 8:24Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 8:24Speaker 2: I definitely want to go and take a cake at
- 8:27Speaker 2: that meeting. There's a newcomer's meeting coming up.
- 8:31Speaker 5: Are you going to, cause I only take, I only took, honestly,
- 8:33Speaker 5: I took two. Are you going to take more than that?
- 8:35Speaker 3: No, I only take one cake.
- 8:37Speaker 1: That's how I feel.
- 8:38Speaker 2: So in sobriety, when you reach, there's chips that you
- 8:43Speaker 2: get for like.
- 8:44Speaker 1: So let's walk through. I'm going to tell mine. So
- 8:48Speaker 1: there's zero to 29 days.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Yes.
- 8:51Speaker 1: And you get chips for that. Yes. So you get
- 8:54Speaker 1: a chip every day. I stood up, I walked in great.
- 8:57Speaker 5: I took a chip for 29 days because I needed to,
- 9:00Speaker 5: even after I relapsed, I went in and I took 20,
- 9:02Speaker 5: like 29 chips and then I gave them back, but
- 9:05Speaker 5: I collected my 29 and then you get 30, 30 day,
- 9:09Speaker 5: a 60 day, a 90.
- 9:12Speaker 3: Day or a night or 90 days. Yep.
- 9:15Speaker 1: 90 day. And then it's, I think it's six months,
- 9:19Speaker 1: nine months. And then a year.
- 9:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:21Speaker 5: Because they always go, anybody with a baby? For the
- 9:25Speaker 5: nine months. Anybody with a baby?
- 9:27Speaker 1: And then. Yeah.
- 9:28Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 9:28Speaker 5: And then it's a year. And then it's really, really hard.
- 9:33Speaker 5: Because then you don't get pats on the back. Then
- 9:36Speaker 5: you just gotta.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Rip it through.
- 9:38Speaker 5: And then if you relapse, you kind of go in
- 9:40Speaker 5: there with your tail between your legs and then they're
- 9:42Speaker 5: kind of like, yeah, buddy, well, welcome back.
- 9:44Speaker 3: By the way, no one gets more love than a newcomer.
- 9:48Speaker 3: The whole room roars. It's a fabulous thing to be
- 9:52Speaker 3: a part of.
- 9:52Speaker 5: You feel very famous as a newcomer. I loved taking
- 9:55Speaker 5: my 29 day chips. They were like, Anybody for the first,
- 10:01Speaker 5: I'd get up and everybody.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Yeah. Keep coming back. Keep coming back. You're like, I
- 10:09Speaker 1: want to live here.
- 10:10Speaker 3: It's amazing.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Yeah, you do feel great. You do. It's like. After
- 10:14Speaker 1: the eight years, congratulations. Thank you. Because you only get
- 10:17Speaker 1: patted on the back once a year now.
- 10:19Speaker 3: Well, it's good to be me because I'd be patting
- 10:21Speaker 3: myself on the back on the rag until the night
- 10:23Speaker 3: comes and then I destroy myself.
- 10:26Speaker 1: No, every time I get in bed, I am Scott Disick.
- 10:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Just thinking about everything bad that's ever happened to me. Right.
- 10:36Speaker 3: But I feel like for this birthday.
- 10:39Speaker 2: So then like on your birthday, you go to a
- 10:41Speaker 2: meeting and you take a cake and you can take
- 10:43Speaker 2: as many as you want. But like, I just need
- 10:44Speaker 2: the one. But I want to do the newcomer meeting.
- 10:47Speaker 2: So the newcomer meeting basically is like anyone who is
- 10:52Speaker 2: running the meeting or speaks is in their first year
- 10:54Speaker 2: of sobriety. And then the first, I think, half hour
- 10:58Speaker 2: of sharing, you have to be in your first year
- 11:01Speaker 2: of sobriety. And then they open the floor to people
- 11:03Speaker 2: who have a little bit more time. But there's something
- 11:06Speaker 2: about that meeting that just like reignites your love for
- 11:09Speaker 2: sobriety because these people are coming in and whether it's
- 11:16Speaker 2: a mom who's 45 years old trying to get through
- 11:19Speaker 2: a fucking Dodgers game sober and she's only been sober for,
- 11:22Speaker 2: you know, three months and it's like a lot. Or
- 11:26Speaker 2: the kid who's 28 and just realized that he wants
- 11:30Speaker 2: to live a different life. It's just a feeling that
- 11:33Speaker 2: you cannot explain, right? So I would like to take
- 11:36Speaker 2: a cake.
- 11:36Speaker 3: At that meeting.
- 11:37Speaker 6: Yes.
- 11:38Speaker 1: I know what meeting you're talking about. Yeah. And that
- 11:41Speaker 1: meeting is my favorite. Every time I feel out of sorts,
- 11:44Speaker 1: I just go to that one. Yeah.
- 11:46Speaker 5: And they've gotten multiple times at it, so you can't
- 11:49Speaker 5: miss it.
- 11:50Speaker 3: No. I'm very excited. I can't believe I hit eight years. Yeah.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Because they say sobriety sometimes is like a relationship.
- 11:56Speaker 3: You get the seven-year itch.
- 11:57Speaker 4: I was like, oh, no.
- 11:59Speaker 1: I got to get out of this.
- 12:00Speaker 6: Oh, I know.
- 12:01Speaker 1: I got to get out of this relationship.
- 12:05Speaker 3: Not me. I'm here to stay.
- 12:06Speaker 1: It's a good one.
- 12:07Speaker 4: I'm proud of both of you.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Thanks, Mom. I'm very proud of you. My sponsor, a
- 12:13Speaker 1: year and what? A month?
- 12:17Speaker 3: A year and two months.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Hmm. Coming up on two months? Yep. Good job.
- 12:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:22Speaker 1: We're all just crushing it, man.
- 12:22Speaker 5: We're all just out here just trying to live it.
- 12:25Speaker 5: But my sponsor, he was like, you should go to
- 12:28Speaker 5: all the meetings that you attend and take a cake
- 12:31Speaker 5: at every one. That gave me anxiety, so I said
- 12:34Speaker 5: I'm not doing it.
- 12:35Speaker 3: Yeah, just the one. It's great.
- 12:36Speaker 1: One was good. And after you take your cake, you
- 12:38Speaker 1: have to talk for like two minutes. And that's where
- 12:41Speaker 1: my anxiety hits.
- 12:44Speaker 3: You don't have to talk for two minutes. Well, they like,
- 12:46Speaker 3: they allow you two minutes to.
- 12:48Speaker 5: Share, but they would like to hear your story because
- 12:50Speaker 5: your story of how you got to where you are
- 12:53Speaker 5: could help somebody in that room.
- 12:54Speaker 3: Totally.
- 12:56Speaker 2: My biggest thing of, about sobriety is at this point, it's,
- 13:04Speaker 2: it's just like a, it just falls into my life.
- 13:06Speaker 2: So effortlessly, you know, There are moments where I see
- 13:10Speaker 2: someone order a drink.
- 13:11Speaker 3: And I was a big, I loved it.
- 13:13Speaker 4: I was a day drinker.
- 13:14Speaker 3: Like the night is to go.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Same.
- 13:17Speaker 3: I mean, I loved a glass of champagne and I
- 13:19Speaker 3: loved a vodka soda. Like those things got me like
- 13:23Speaker 3: really happy.
- 13:24Speaker 4: And I love Prosecco.
- 13:26Speaker 3: Yeah, you did.
- 13:26Speaker 1: You should get a dog named Prosecco.
- 13:28Speaker 2: She like, I have videos of us hammered me and
- 13:31Speaker 2: my mom and she'd be like, I think I'm going
- 13:32Speaker 2: to have another glass of Prosecco. And you know how
- 13:35Speaker 2: your voice kind of changes when you get a little tipsy.
- 13:38Speaker 1: You and I had a heyday.
- 13:40Speaker 6: I remember we had that one when you put the
- 13:42Speaker 6: funny faces on us.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:44Speaker 4: On the Instagram or whatever.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:46Speaker 4: Anyway.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Just hammered as fuck.
- 13:48Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 13:48Speaker 4: It was great.
- 13:49Speaker 5: I just get calls from you guys hammered, I remember.
- 13:51Speaker 5: And that was, no words were even spoken.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Hello? Hello? What are you doing? Oh, fuck. But then
- 14:01Speaker 1: I hear mom in the background. So what is he doing?
- 14:04Speaker 3: So we've always been codependent.
- 14:07Speaker 1: That's good to know. This is not new.
- 14:08Speaker 3: This is not new at all.
- 14:10Speaker 1: I think it really happened, though, after dad died, though.
- 14:13Speaker 1: I think we were all independent. Independent. And then dad passed.
- 14:17Speaker 1: And then we got very codependent.
- 14:19Speaker 3: Yes.
- 14:20Speaker 1: Can I be honest? I was thinking in the car
- 14:22Speaker 1: driving here. Yeah. I was like, what?
- 14:27Speaker 5: If I do move out and then I don't see
- 14:30Speaker 5: my sister every day. And then if I don't see
- 14:32Speaker 5: my mom.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Oh, that's not happening. I almost spiraled. My eyes started watering.
- 14:37Speaker 4: So you know what? You just shouldn't even move out.
- 14:40Speaker 3: Can I tell you? Can I tell you?
- 14:42Speaker 1: I really don't want to do life. I don't know
- 14:44Speaker 1: how to do life.
- 14:44Speaker 3: The solution to the problem is I just need to
- 14:46Speaker 3: work harder. All of us.
- 14:48Speaker 2: So that we can have instead of the situation we
- 14:51Speaker 2: have now. we can expand bigger.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:54Speaker 3: And we can have your own house. Oh, each have
- 14:56Speaker 3: our own house.
- 14:56Speaker 1: That's like a.
- 14:58Speaker 3: Normal person would be like, well, you guys should just
- 15:00Speaker 3: like move away from each other. No, my plan is
- 15:04Speaker 3: to work harder.
- 15:05Speaker 4: Okay.
- 15:06Speaker 5: I want righteous gemstone, not like get rid of all that,
- 15:10Speaker 5: but the compound, the compound, right?
- 15:12Speaker 1: I want a golf cart over to my mother's house.
- 15:14Speaker 3: Totally.
- 15:15Speaker 1: That's sick.
- 15:16Speaker 4: That'd be fun.
- 15:17Speaker 3: That would be the funnest.
- 15:19Speaker 6: Right?
- 15:19Speaker 1: All right, let's get to work.
- 15:20Speaker 3: Let's get to work. I thought it would make me
- 15:23Speaker 3: need to take a nap.
- 15:24Speaker 1: You are the golden ticket.
- 15:26Speaker 4: I'm retired.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Fuck off.
- 15:29Speaker 3: You live the dream.
- 15:30Speaker 1: I've been retired since 21. And I've never said I don't.
- 15:32Speaker 3: Like, she lives the dream. Can we just talk about
- 15:36Speaker 3: it for a second? Can we just talk about it?
- 15:38Speaker 3: I have no problem with this at all, by the way.
- 15:40Speaker 3: But my mom comes out here.
- 15:42Speaker 1: You deserve it.
- 15:42Speaker 3: You deserve it. Don't get offended. But listen to the
- 15:45Speaker 3: dream that my mother has been living for the longest.
- 15:48Speaker 5: She's got her feet up and a blanket over her
- 15:51Speaker 5: legs while she records.
- 15:52Speaker 2: You know, like, Issa and I go out into the world,
- 15:56Speaker 2: busting our asses, doing the damn thing, just like our
- 15:58Speaker 2: mama raised us to do. And then my mom's like, yeah, I'll,
- 16:01Speaker 2: you know, I'll take care of the kids. I got
- 16:03Speaker 2: the house on lock. Then all of a sudden, my
- 16:06Speaker 2: mom says, I think we should get a nanny.
- 16:08Speaker 3: What?
- 16:09Speaker 2: So now we bring the nanny on. So my mom
- 16:11Speaker 2: was just chilling, right? Then it's doing housework.
- 16:15Speaker 3: Then it's like, I'm going to call someone to clean
- 16:18Speaker 3: the house.
- 16:18Speaker 6: That house keeps me like busy because everything breaks.
- 16:24Speaker 1: That is true.
- 16:25Speaker 3: Oh, you're the house manager.
- 16:27Speaker 1: Yes.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Okay, so I'm going to bite my tongue then. Because
- 16:32Speaker 2: all of the things that Lisa was designating to herself,
- 16:35Speaker 2: we've now outsourced, brought others in to do.
- 16:39Speaker 4: But I'm the house manager now.
- 16:40Speaker 3: Do you do the laundry?
- 16:41Speaker 4: Sometimes.
- 16:43Speaker 3: How does the laundry get done?
- 16:44Speaker 4: What do you think, Cynthia? I do a lot of it, though.
- 16:51Speaker 5: Don't think she does i'm gonna show.
- 16:54Speaker 3: You guys i will yell down to my mom because
- 16:56Speaker 3: i do i do do my own laundry and i
- 16:59Speaker 3: will yell down to my mom and i'm like mom
- 17:02Speaker 3: cynthia has folded your laundry take it to your room
- 17:06Speaker 3: there's like a stack this high on the freaking.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Well she's waiting for cynthia to.
- 17:10Speaker 4: Take it down Cynthia is a godsend.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Godsend. Thank you, Cynthia.
- 17:16Speaker 3: She's like my whole heart and soul. I fucking love her.
- 17:20Speaker 4: No, she is the best.
- 17:22Speaker 1: The best.
- 17:23Speaker 6: But, in my defense, I have to run the household
- 17:28Speaker 6: of all the broken things.
- 17:29Speaker 4: The front door.
- 17:30Speaker 3: I handle the front door.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Then why are we texting Serge?
- 17:34Speaker 3: I handle the front door with Serge. I've handled the
- 17:37Speaker 3: light with Serge.
- 17:38Speaker 4: He and I.
- 17:39Speaker 3: It's completely untrue. I ordered them on Amazon.
- 17:41Speaker 1: We bought the wrong ones.
- 17:43Speaker 3: Okay, so you just make my life harder is what
- 17:45Speaker 3: you're saying. You just make things more difficult.
- 17:49Speaker 5: All right, what I will say is she tagged along.
- 17:51Speaker 5: The guy came over and goes, this is the lock
- 17:53Speaker 5: you need. I said, where do I get this? And
- 17:55Speaker 5: he goes, just go to Home Depot. I went to
- 17:57Speaker 5: Home Depot. I said, I need this lock.
- 17:59Speaker 3: They go.
- 17:59Speaker 1: These are the two that'll fit. That was the handyman.
- 18:03Speaker 4: That I called.
- 18:04Speaker 1: Yeah, told us to buy.
- 18:06Speaker 3: So again, you make, you create chores for your own self.
- 18:11Speaker 1: And then I have to go on them.
- 18:13Speaker 2: Lisa loves to buy a bunch of shit and be like,
- 18:15Speaker 2: I'm so busy today. I got to do a lot
- 18:16Speaker 2: of take backs. I'm like, don't buy it in the
- 18:18Speaker 2: first place. I just don't buy it in the first place.
- 18:22Speaker 3: By the way, though, you don't need to do anything.
- 18:24Speaker 3: You are the heartbeat of the family. You're fun.
- 18:29Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 18:29Speaker 3: You're young, wild, and free. At heart.
- 18:33Speaker 4: At heart.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Your body is.
- 18:35Speaker 3: And we're just happy to have.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Tell my body to.
- 18:37Speaker 3: We're just happy to have you around, bitch.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Your body is catching up slowly.
- 18:42Speaker 3: Okay.
- 18:42Speaker 1: But it's there.
- 18:44Speaker 3: Just very, very quickly.
- 18:47Speaker 3: The game last night was fantastic. I'm just going to
- 18:50Speaker 3: say that.
- 18:50Speaker 4: Which one?
- 18:52Speaker 3: Can everyone stop asking me that? What do you think?
- 18:57Speaker 3: Which game do you think I'm talking about?
- 18:59Speaker 4: I want you to say.
- 19:00Speaker 3: The Ravens game.
- 19:01Speaker 1: I know.
- 19:02Speaker 4: I was there.
- 19:03Speaker 2: I know, but I have said this to multiple people.
- 19:06Speaker 2: Anyone who will listen, I'm like, that game last night.
- 19:08Speaker 3: They're like, which one? I'm like.
- 19:11Speaker 3: What do you mean which one?
- 19:12Speaker 1: The only one that happened last night. There's only one game.
- 19:15Speaker 4: That was a spectacular game.
- 19:17Speaker 1: What happened?
- 19:18Speaker 3: It went from being the biggest snooze fest, me in
- 19:21Speaker 3: full turmoil because I.
- 19:22Speaker 4: Get- And you dogging on all the players.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Okay, let's not say that aloud. All right?
- 19:29Speaker 6: No.
- 19:29Speaker 3: I love my team. I rock with them through thick
- 19:31Speaker 3: and thin like I do the housewives.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Even on a not okay season. But you drag them
- 19:34Speaker 1: here and there. You'll drag them here and there.
- 19:36Speaker 3: Well- There were just some things that I would have
- 19:39Speaker 3: fixed because I think I should be the offensive coordinator.
- 19:44Speaker 1: That's okay. Can I be honest? There's times where I'm like,
- 19:48Speaker 1: I would have done better.
- 19:49Speaker 3: I could have done better.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Give me 15 plays. I don't even need the whole playbook.
- 19:53Speaker 5: Just give me 15 plays, and I'll pick one that
- 19:56Speaker 5: is better than what you fucking ran.
- 19:59Speaker 1: You know what? I play Madden. I get it. Manny knows.
- 20:02Speaker 3: Let's focus on the comeback.
- 20:05Speaker 1: And the win.
- 20:06Speaker 2: That game, no matter what team you're into, like Sunday
- 20:10Speaker 2: night football, Monday night football, Thursday night football.
- 20:13Speaker 1: You got a good game.
- 20:13Speaker 3: You want a good game, right? That's all we ask for.
- 20:16Speaker 3: Even if your team's not playing.
- 20:17Speaker 4: Couldn't have been better.
- 20:17Speaker 3: It was fantastic. First half. Little wonky.
- 20:22Speaker 2: We were really great at stopping them. Thank God defense
- 20:25Speaker 2: did the fucking damn thing. But I was a little
- 20:28Speaker 2: worried about Atlanta's that hot player. His last name's London.
- 20:31Speaker 2: He was crushing it. I actually, yeah, I felt a
- 20:34Speaker 2: little bad for him. All that hard work.
- 20:37Speaker 5: Well, I mean, I feel bad because Pennix went down.
- 20:42Speaker 5: But we were playing with the second string quarterback. So
- 20:44Speaker 5: fuck off.
- 20:46Speaker 3: Fair game now. Complete fair game.
- 20:49Speaker 4: It was so good. And you and all your Raven stuff,
- 20:51Speaker 4: I think that's why they won.
- 20:53Speaker 3: I thought about putting my helmet on, but I didn't
- 20:55Speaker 3: want to jinx the game.
- 20:56Speaker 4: You had your pants.
- 20:57Speaker 3: No, can I tell you who the good luck charm was, Mom?
- 20:59Speaker 1: What? You.
- 21:00Speaker 4: Well, thank you.
- 21:01Speaker 3: Because I was holding your hand. What the hell did
- 21:02Speaker 3: she do?
- 21:03Speaker 4: Because I kept saying they're going to win.
- 21:05Speaker 3: Yeah, and I held her hand.
- 21:06Speaker 2: I moved positions on the couch because I was like,
- 21:09Speaker 2: where I'm sitting is not working. So I moved closer
- 21:12Speaker 2: to Mom, and I held her hand. And we just skyrocketed.
- 21:15Speaker 5: Oh, you're like that BYU commercial where the girl gets
- 21:18Speaker 5: locked out of the house because they scored two touchdowns
- 21:21Speaker 5: when she was on the patio.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:24Speaker 3: They're like, stay out there.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Yeah. It's working.
- 21:27Speaker 3: Oh, it's just so fantastic.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Remember where you sat.
- 21:31Speaker 3: I'm sitting there and you can't move. Positions. Next game.
- 21:33Speaker 3: I need to hold your hand.
- 21:35Speaker 1: You don't have to worry. She is not moving.
- 21:37Speaker 4: Okay.
- 21:39Speaker 6: But you've got to talk about the bread we had
- 21:41Speaker 6: last night that made it so phenomenal.
- 21:43Speaker 4: Why don't you talk about the bread?
- 21:45Speaker 1: We had homemade sourdough bread. She is clapping her hands.
- 21:50Speaker 1: She is so excited about this.
- 21:52Speaker 4: It has white chocolate, and one had Biscoff. Is that
- 21:56Speaker 4: how you say it?
- 21:56Speaker 3: Yeah, Biscoff cookie, like what you get on Delta Airlines.
- 21:58Speaker 4: No, it was delectable.
- 22:01Speaker 1: No, her palate and my palate are not— All she.
- 22:04Speaker 3: Was saying during the greatest times of the game was—
- 22:07Speaker 3: When do you think the bread's going to be done, Justin?
- 22:10Speaker 3: He's like, I'm just waiting for it to rise. Issa
- 22:13Speaker 3: and I are locked in. Mom and Justin, all they
- 22:15Speaker 3: cared about was the freaking bread making.
- 22:18Speaker 1: So I love Justin to death. I know Justin. So
- 22:23Speaker 1: I was a good person, though.
- 22:24Speaker 5: I let you guys watch some TV shows, and we
- 22:27Speaker 5: watched Black Mirror and stuff, and I didn't watch football
- 22:29Speaker 5: because I knew that you— Every time he comes over.
- 22:31Speaker 6: We promise him we're going to watch one thing, and
- 22:33Speaker 6: we end up watching— Well, then you.
- 22:35Speaker 2: Should never come over on a Saturday, a Sunday, a
- 22:39Speaker 2: Monday night, or a Thursday night.
- 22:40Speaker 1: The games that they... Basically the whole week. Yeah, Saturday
- 22:44Speaker 1: and Sunday. I mean, good riddance.
- 22:46Speaker 5: Because it is from like 9 a.m. till 10.30 p.m.
- 22:51Speaker 2: Just having it on makes... Can I tell you what
- 22:53Speaker 2: I think I love so much about it?
- 22:55Speaker 1: Is growing up.
- 22:57Speaker 2: When dad would wake up, that was how football season
- 23:00Speaker 2: was spent. I don't even need to be sitting down
- 23:04Speaker 2: watching college football. Having it on the TV, it makes
- 23:08Speaker 2: me feel like I'm home.
- 23:10Speaker 1: Yes. That is the perfect.
- 23:11Speaker 5: Because I would get up late, like 10, 30, 11.
- 23:15Speaker 5: And then I'd go out into the main room and
- 23:17Speaker 5: football was on and it was just cheering. And I'd
- 23:20Speaker 5: be making breakfast and it was just like the background noise.
- 23:22Speaker 5: And then you'd hear a loud roar and it was home.
- 23:25Speaker 5: And that's what I like.
- 23:26Speaker 2: And I would come down and dad would be making
- 23:28Speaker 2: those Pillsbury orange cinnamon rolls.
- 23:31Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 23:32Speaker 2: And then he'd get out the cocktail glasses that were
- 23:34Speaker 2: like hand painted and make me my first drink of
- 23:36Speaker 2: the morning.
- 23:38Speaker 1: Oh, maybe he wasn't an alcoholic. No, it's fucking college football.
- 23:44Speaker 3: And tomorrow, we repeat. So fun.
- 23:46Speaker 1: And Monday night, we repeat.
- 23:47Speaker 3: Can you bring up the banana chairs? You know those
- 23:49Speaker 3: ones on the ground?
- 23:50Speaker 4: I love those.
- 23:51Speaker 3: Turn the fire on. Oh, my God.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Lay on the heater.
- 23:54Speaker 4: You guys loved laying on the heater then. And when
- 23:57Speaker 4: the heater would come on.
- 23:58Speaker 1: The blanket would plume. Yeah. Oh, my gosh.
- 24:02Speaker 2: There was nothing like the household on 3648 Pear Blossom Circle.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Getting it tattooed on me.
- 24:09Speaker 3: Salt Lake City, Utah.
- 24:10Speaker 1: 84109.
- 24:13Speaker 3: Fuck yeah.
- 24:14Speaker 1: It was the best. It was the best.
- 24:17Speaker 3: And then we would make another liquor store run, right?
- 24:20Speaker 3: And you would be driving to the liquor store, which
- 24:22Speaker 3: was near the entrance.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Not on a Sunday, though.
- 24:24Speaker 3: No.
- 24:24Speaker 5: No, you had to hit that bitch on Saturday night
- 24:26Speaker 5: for the Sunday goods.
- 24:27Speaker 1: No, but Sunday.
- 24:28Speaker 3: Sunday or Saturday, you would make your way and you'd
- 24:31Speaker 3: see all of these Ford F-150s with the fucking University
- 24:34Speaker 3: of Utah flies getting on the freeway to head on
- 24:37Speaker 3: to Parley's to get to the stadium.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Rice Eccles, baby. And they get hammered as fuck with
- 24:42Speaker 1: their thing. It's so good.
- 24:44Speaker 5: I'm going to get maybe shit for this or maybe
- 24:47Speaker 5: people agree. I'm all for a tailgate. Don't want to
- 24:52Speaker 5: go to the game. I want to go somewhere comfy,
- 24:54Speaker 5: watch it, eat. Piss not next to thousands of people.
- 24:59Speaker 5: Wait for a toilet. Oh, it's the worst going to
- 25:01Speaker 5: the game.
- 25:01Speaker 3: Oh, tailgating? Some of those RVs were so lit?
- 25:04Speaker 1: No, RVing or tailgating at the RV. Of course they did.
- 25:07Speaker 5: The best was when everybody would go to the game
- 25:09Speaker 5: and then you were just there with like the big
- 25:11Speaker 5: TV and then just like a couple people, you'd throw
- 25:13Speaker 5: the ball around.
- 25:15Speaker 1: You'd start cooking again. Then the game's on. You'd hear
- 25:17Speaker 1: the roar from just over the hill. Ah, the best.
- 25:21Speaker 1: The best. Not being in it. Near it though.
- 25:24Speaker 3: Near it. Because then you knew once the game ended,
- 25:26Speaker 3: everyone was coming back.
- 25:27Speaker 1: Well, that and I knew if the game was ending,
- 25:29Speaker 1: I was like, all right, I'm out of here.
- 25:30Speaker 2: No, then I was headed to downtown Salt Lake to
- 25:33Speaker 2: go to.
- 25:33Speaker 3: The Green Pig.
- 25:34Speaker 4: Oh, the Green Pig.
- 25:36Speaker 3: Love it all. Or Gracie's.
- 25:38Speaker 1: Oh, Gracie's. Is Gracie's still alive?
- 25:41Speaker 5: Aw.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Gracie's went out?
- 25:42Speaker 4: No, I said I wonder if they're still around.
- 25:44Speaker 3: I'm sure they are.
- 25:45Speaker 1: Will somebody let us know in the Salt Lake City area?
- 25:59Speaker 2: Speaking of fun times, let's jump into pop culture. Let's
- 26:02Speaker 2: talk about this.
- 26:03Speaker 3: This was actually very sad and I'm happy the tiger's
- 26:05Speaker 3: alive and well. Yeah.
- 26:08Speaker 2: Um, the guy in England who went into the tiger
- 26:12Speaker 2: cage and the tiger mauled him to death. Apparently this
- 26:15Speaker 2: place got an overwhelming amount of phone calls being like,
- 26:19Speaker 2: we're so sorry for the family, but like You cannot
- 26:22Speaker 2: euthanize this tiger.
- 26:23Speaker 3: And they're not going to.
- 26:24Speaker 4: Oh, good.
- 26:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:25Speaker 1: He was trying to discipline it. It was like it
- 26:27Speaker 1: was a house dog.
- 26:28Speaker 3: It was like coming towards him, kind of like pointing.
- 26:29Speaker 3: He's like, no. No.
- 26:32Speaker 5: It's like it's not a dog that's been trained since
- 26:36Speaker 5: it was young.
- 26:37Speaker 4: They're wild animals.
- 26:38Speaker 1: They just be in nature, not in a cage. Well,
- 26:41Speaker 1: I don't know if this one, it's not in this country.
- 26:43Speaker 1: I don't know much about where this was. I don't
- 26:46Speaker 1: know if it's like the San Diego Zoo, you know?
- 26:49Speaker 1: A good one.
- 26:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:50Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 26:52Speaker 2: But that made me happy that the tiger is, like, fine. Yeah,
- 26:56Speaker 2: but they gave them the day off, the workers, because
- 26:59Speaker 2: everyone's obviously traumatized by it.
- 27:03Speaker 1: Did you see? I didn't see the whole video. I
- 27:05Speaker 1: know you probably can find it somewhere.
- 27:06Speaker 5: I just saw them, like, taking out his body, and
- 27:09Speaker 5: it is just, like, wrapped in a whole bunch of
- 27:11Speaker 5: stuff because it was probably so ripped apart.
- 27:14Speaker 4: Well, yeah.
- 27:15Speaker 3: It's a wild animal, you know?
- 27:17Speaker 4: Yeah. Look at Siegfried and Roy. Same thing happened to him.
- 27:23Speaker 3: Yeah, these animals will fuck your shit up.
- 27:25Speaker 1: Yeah. When they get enough of you.
- 27:28Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm over it.
- 27:29Speaker 4: They will paw you.
- 27:30Speaker 3: Get out of my face. And get me out of
- 27:32Speaker 3: this cage. Why am I even in here?
- 27:33Speaker 1: Could you imagine though?
- 27:34Speaker 5: You are the tiger and you're just looking at this
- 27:38Speaker 5: species just staring at you all day and then you
- 27:40Speaker 5: get a fucking lick it one come on now no
- 27:42Speaker 5: they're looking at it yeah like piece of meat but
- 27:45Speaker 5: that's what i'm saying like you're just like on display
- 27:48Speaker 5: and you see all these.
- 27:49Speaker 1: People you don't know what they are but it's just
- 27:51Speaker 1: this species.
- 27:52Speaker 5: And then one gets into your cage and you're like
- 27:53Speaker 5: holy shit i got a chance at this fucking thing
- 27:55Speaker 5: let's go like oh he's in the cage with me
- 27:57Speaker 5: now it's time to play throwing shit and then the
- 28:00Speaker 5: gates open it's like all right i'm gonna kill that
- 28:02Speaker 5: fucking monkey throwing shit at me You know?
- 28:06Speaker 4: Where did he come from this morning? I don't know.
- 28:09Speaker 3: I like it. Alongside of the bed.
- 28:11Speaker 1: No, I woke up happy. I was like, today's going
- 28:13Speaker 1: to be fucking great.
- 28:14Speaker 3: Actor Tobey Maguire officiates his ex-wife Jennifer Meyer's wedding, and
- 28:19Speaker 3: this was just weeks after finalizing their divorce. How cool. Like,
- 28:23Speaker 3: could you imagine?
- 28:24Speaker 1: What's weird? He's probably like, no more alimony.
- 28:27Speaker 3: No, Mom, that's when the alimony starts. The divorce is fine. Clearly,
- 28:30Speaker 3: you've never been divorced.
- 28:32Speaker 1: She got remarried.
- 28:33Speaker 2: She got married to a Nigerian billionaire's son.
- 28:38Speaker 3: So she's not concerned about the alimony going away. Not
- 28:42Speaker 3: in the least. She's like, I could literally wipe my
- 28:45Speaker 3: ass with your alimony now.
- 28:47Speaker 1: Well, I'd rather her donate it, but... Or that.
- 28:50Speaker 3: Or that.
- 28:52Speaker 2: I got a kick out of this. Did you see
- 28:54Speaker 2: the Kelly Clarkson drama with the magic shop? So apparently
- 28:57Speaker 2: Kelly Clarkson walks into this magic shop and she inquires
- 29:01Speaker 2: about this like bird that you push a button or
- 29:05Speaker 2: something and it like moves around.
- 29:07Speaker 3: And the price tag is- An animatronic. An animatronic. Not
- 29:11Speaker 3: quite sure what that is.
- 29:13Speaker 2: But the price tag is on the wall and it
- 29:15Speaker 2: says it's $ 15, 000. So Kelly Clarkson- Post this, just drove
- 29:22Speaker 2: all the way to Brooklyn to check out this store
- 29:24Speaker 2: I thought looked really rad and had a few things
- 29:27Speaker 2: in mind to buy and literally was looked at as
- 29:29Speaker 2: if I couldn't afford and was told he could find
- 29:32Speaker 2: something comparable for me. Wow, dude, you're an idiot and
- 29:36Speaker 2: just lost a huge sale, but y'all should go check
- 29:39Speaker 2: out Art of Plotting in brooklyn if you enjoy being
- 29:41Speaker 2: treated like julia roberts character in pretty woman for sure
- 29:45Speaker 2: check it out thumbs down i'm assuming they didn't know
- 29:48Speaker 2: who she was obviously but she should never treat you
- 29:51Speaker 2: shouldn't you shouldn't treat but that's what she's saying like
- 29:54Speaker 2: basically if they can treat me like this I would
- 29:57Speaker 2: hate to see how they treat other people.
- 29:58Speaker 4: Don't judge a book by its cover.
- 30:01Speaker 1: God.
- 30:02Speaker 2: So it's Art of Play responded on Instagram on October 11th, 2026,
- 30:06Speaker 2: stating Kelly Clarkson inquired about a unique singing and dancing
- 30:10Speaker 2: bird automaton that was not for sale. So then Kelly
- 30:14Speaker 2: posts it and it is for sale and it's $ 15, 000.
- 30:17Speaker 2: She posted the thing and the price tag. So then
- 30:20Speaker 2: she responds again.
- 30:21Speaker 3: Cool, cool.
- 30:22Speaker 5: Sure.
- 30:22Speaker 3: It wasn't for sale. That's the narrative. Art of Play
- 30:24Speaker 3: is going to go with... Thumbs up.
- 30:26Speaker 2: So then, so the whole conversation we had when I
- 30:30Speaker 2: asked you if it was for sale was pointing to
- 30:32Speaker 2: the price tag hanging on the wall with the title
- 30:34Speaker 2: singing bird didn't happen as you elevator eyed me saying
- 30:38Speaker 2: in a condescending tone, yes, it's for sale, but it
- 30:40Speaker 2: costs $ 15, 000. So if you'd like me to find something
- 30:44Speaker 2: comparable for you, I can. That all never happened and
- 30:47Speaker 2: now it's not for sale.
- 30:48Speaker 3: Okay, cool. So you're not only rude, you're also a liar.
- 30:52Speaker 1: Got it.
- 30:52Speaker 2: And by the way, I obviously support small businesses because
- 30:55Speaker 2: I was literally at a small business trying to purchase things.
- 30:58Speaker 2: I love small businesses and know they are important and
- 31:01Speaker 2: I always support them, but you don't get a free
- 31:03Speaker 2: pass to treat people less than in your store just
- 31:05Speaker 2: because you are a small business. It's not that hard
- 31:08Speaker 2: to be kind. I never blast people, but you, my friend,
- 31:11Speaker 2: were an exception. Your store is really cool. Unfortunately, you aren't.
- 31:16Speaker 4: Yeah, not cool.
- 31:18Speaker 3: What a weird little back and forth. I wonder if
- 31:21Speaker 3: people will go now, though.
- 31:24Speaker 4: Are you going to go?
- 31:24Speaker 3: It's in Brooklyn. I don't go to Brooklyn. I don't
- 31:27Speaker 3: even leave my house.
- 31:29Speaker 1: If you were near Brooklyn, would you go?
- 31:32Speaker 3: What?
- 31:32Speaker 1: If you were near Brooklyn, would you go?
- 31:35Speaker 2: I got to be honest, if they're selling weird birds
- 31:37Speaker 2: for 15 grand, it just isn't speaking to me.
- 31:39Speaker 4: Well, I'm being treated that way.
- 31:42Speaker 2: Take the being treated this way out of it. I'm
- 31:44Speaker 2: not going into a store that's going to charge me
- 31:46Speaker 2: $ 15, 000 for a talking bird.
- 31:49Speaker 4: Well, you don't know what the bird does. I mean,
- 31:51Speaker 4: it could be really phenomenal.
- 31:53Speaker 3: Can I jump on its back and it fly me
- 31:55Speaker 3: to Paris?
- 31:55Speaker 4: Maybe.
- 31:56Speaker 3: Probably not.
- 31:58Speaker 1: So, no.
- 31:59Speaker 3: But I wouldn't go because they're assholes. But I bet
- 32:02Speaker 3: this is going to pop off now. Here's the thing, though.
- 32:04Speaker 3: Kelly Clarkson, has anyone seen the Kelly Clarkson show?
- 32:09Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:09Speaker 3: She is a gem of a human.
- 32:11Speaker 4: Yes.
- 32:11Speaker 3: How could you be mean to her ever? She's so kind.
- 32:14Speaker 4: And how could you not know who she was?
- 32:16Speaker 1: Yeah, you're a dumbass. I know who she is from
- 32:20Speaker 1: American Idol.
- 32:23Speaker 5: No.
- 32:23Speaker 1: For a moment.
- 32:24Speaker 4: The voice.
- 32:25Speaker 3: Not the voice.
- 32:26Speaker 1: That didn't even exist when she got famous.
- 32:27Speaker 4: Oh, she made her existence on American Idol.
- 32:30Speaker 3: No, she made her existence through her mother's vagina. And
- 32:31Speaker 3: she's saying a moment like this.
- 32:32Speaker 1: But she got famous through American Idol. What'd you say?
- 32:35Speaker 1: She goes, she made her existence.
- 32:37Speaker 5: I said, no, she made her existence through her mother's vagina.
- 32:41Speaker 1: She got famous on American Idol.
- 32:43Speaker 3: She got on the map.
- 32:44Speaker 4: She made it on the map.
- 32:46Speaker 3: With American Idol. Yes.
- 32:48Speaker 1: Yeah, she didn't have existence because of this.
- 32:50Speaker 2: And she was very young and then came out with
- 32:53Speaker 2: Behind These Hazel Eyes and all the rest of the
- 32:55Speaker 2: bangers that she writes.
- 32:57Speaker 1: No, how you could not know her is something else.
- 33:00Speaker 1: Can I tell you?
- 33:01Speaker 5: And I'm sorry, she's got a very, like, noticeable face.
- 33:04Speaker 2: Yes, but all that aside, can I just tell you?
- 33:09Speaker 2: It is so much harder to be a dick than
- 33:11Speaker 2: it is to just be nice.
- 33:12Speaker 1: I feel bad being a dick.
- 33:14Speaker 3: Like, I've been a dick.
- 33:16Speaker 1: Don't you feel bad after?
- 33:18Speaker 3: I don't love it. I don't want to be a dick.
- 33:20Speaker 3: But when I am a dick, I'm exhausted.
- 33:24Speaker 4: Say dick one more time.
- 33:25Speaker 1: Dick.
- 33:26Speaker 2: So then Hillary Duff's hubby enters the chat. Kelly Clarkson
- 33:31Speaker 2: has a taser and she won't leave the Rainforest Cafe
- 33:34Speaker 2: until they sell her an animatronic toucan.
- 33:39Speaker 1: The next one is so great.
- 33:41Speaker 4: Are they butting heads?
- 33:43Speaker 3: Here's the thing. We started off friends.
- 33:46Speaker 1: I sang it. Did anyone else?
- 33:50Speaker 3: Why is he going in on her?
- 33:52Speaker 1: Why not? I don't know. Why not?
- 33:54Speaker 3: We just talked about being kind and how hard it
- 33:56Speaker 3: is to be a dick. And now he's entering the chat.
- 33:59Speaker 3: It has nothing to do with him.
- 34:00Speaker 4: Were they in that squabble? The mom squabble?
- 34:03Speaker 1: No.
- 34:04Speaker 2: Kelly Clarkson has nothing to do with mom gate.
- 34:08Speaker 3: With mom friend gate. That's Ashley Tisdale.
- 34:11Speaker 1: Not Tisdale.
- 34:15Speaker 4: But Hilary Duff's not part of that.
- 34:17Speaker 2: No, but now with this, I'm thinking maybe it might
- 34:19Speaker 2: be that she's the problem.
- 34:22Speaker 3: Everyone was thinking it was Tisdale. I don't know. With this,
- 34:24Speaker 3: I'm sensing that you and your.
- 34:25Speaker 1: Husband get a little messy, right?
- 34:26Speaker 5: There's so many names going on that if you were
- 34:27Speaker 5: to walk these people in, I don't even know who
- 34:29Speaker 5: is who anymore.
- 34:31Speaker 1: What does Tisdale look like?
- 34:32Speaker 6: A woman.
- 34:34Speaker 1: I'm lost. Just a bunch of women.
- 34:37Speaker 3: She's cool. I like her. I like her husband, too.
- 34:40Speaker 1: Do you want to know something? I like them all.
- 34:43Speaker 3: Me, too. I have no reason not to.
- 34:57Speaker 1: All right, let's move on to Soulja Boy. That's way better.
- 34:59Speaker 3: You're going to die.
- 35:01Speaker 1: You're going to die.
- 35:02Speaker 4: I don't even know who that is.
- 35:04Speaker 3: Soulja Boy, tell them. And doesn't he sing Gucci Ben Dennett?
- 35:08Speaker 3: Gucci Ben Dennett. Wow, what a boss. Gucci Ben Dennett.
- 35:13Speaker 1: And he's like, kiss me.
- 35:15Speaker 3: Through the phone. Kiss me through the phone. I'll see
- 35:19Speaker 3: you later. But he is going to run for president
- 35:24Speaker 3: in 2028. And at this point, let him. Put him
- 35:27Speaker 3: in the White House for the love of God. Could
- 35:30Speaker 3: you imagine how happy we'd all be?
- 35:32Speaker 1: Just dancing to Soulja Boy?
- 35:34Speaker 4: That sounds miserable.
- 35:35Speaker 1: I don't know. I think there's just a.
- 35:36Speaker 5: Lot of people.
- 35:37Speaker 2: It says Soulja Boy is setting his sights on the
- 35:39Speaker 2: White House, revealing that he's exploring a run for U.S.
- 35:42Speaker 1: President.
- 35:43Speaker 3: I can't even keep a straight face. 2028.
- 35:45Speaker 2: The rapper says his priorities would include economic opportunity, criminal
- 35:50Speaker 2: justice reform, education, and the future of technology and AI,
- 35:55Speaker 2: according to a post on Instagram.
- 35:57Speaker 3: While he hasn't laid out a detailed campaign.
- 35:59Speaker 2: Platform, Soulja Boy says, He is looking to take his
- 36:03Speaker 2: experience in music, business, and technology into public service.
- 36:09Speaker 4: Wow.
- 36:09Speaker 1: Just start a company.
- 36:12Speaker 3: You don't need to run the country.
- 36:13Speaker 1: You don't need to run the country.
- 36:14Speaker 3: Start a business.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Start a business.
- 36:17Speaker 3: No, but I reposted it. I'm like, where are we?
- 36:19Speaker 3: Is this a joke? Could you imagine?
- 36:21Speaker 1: Our tattooed president.
- 36:23Speaker 3: He wears glasses that he painted his own self. That
- 36:28Speaker 3: says Soulja Boy. You're telling me we're going to put
- 36:30Speaker 3: him in the White House in glasses that he can't
- 36:33Speaker 3: even technically see through.
- 36:34Speaker 5: You're worried about the glasses? He's got tattoos all over
- 36:38Speaker 5: his face. I'd be like, we can't. Not that I'm against.
- 36:41Speaker 1: You see me.
- 36:42Speaker 4: I want one. The tattoos are nothing to me.
- 36:44Speaker 3: The tattoos on the face are a selling point for me,
- 36:46Speaker 3: quite honestly.
- 36:47Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I'm all for tattoos.
- 36:49Speaker 5: When I look at my country and I have a vote,
- 36:52Speaker 5: I kind of want somebody without them.
- 36:54Speaker 1: Just me. Let me tell you. And I'm for all
- 36:57Speaker 1: four of the tattoos.
- 36:57Speaker 3: Give me a woman. Give me a woman. For the
- 37:01Speaker 3: love of God. Compassionate, motherly, but will fuck your shit up.
- 37:07Speaker 4: Michelle Obama.
- 37:09Speaker 3: I'm obsessed with her.
- 37:10Speaker 4: Let's get her.
- 37:11Speaker 2: First we had Kanye West, now we got Soulja Boy.
- 37:13Speaker 2: It's just like, what the f- Where am I? What
- 37:15Speaker 2: planet am I living on?
- 37:16Speaker 1: We're in a simulation.
- 37:19Speaker 3: Easton truly believes we are like Sims, by the way.
- 37:21Speaker 3: I'm just putting it out there. And I agree.
- 37:23Speaker 1: We're getting there.
- 37:24Speaker 2: I feel like there is a giant child who opens
- 37:27Speaker 2: up the bag, which is daylight, takes us out in place,
- 37:31Speaker 2: and then when nighttime comes, it means she's put us
- 37:32Speaker 2: back in the bag and zipped up the bag.
- 37:34Speaker 1: Yeah, when you go to sleep, they're taking out the bag.
- 37:36Speaker 1: We are what it was. Know how your phone at night,
- 37:39Speaker 1: it goes through a little software update?
- 37:41Speaker 4: So do we.
- 37:41Speaker 1: That's what we're going through, too.
- 37:44Speaker 2: Bethany Frankel gave her followers a warning against trying to
- 37:47Speaker 2: turn children against their ex-spouse. Do not try to turn
- 37:51Speaker 2: your kids against your ex. No matter how abusive, controlling,
- 37:54Speaker 2: problematic your ex is, you will end up turning your
- 37:56Speaker 2: kids against you. It is hard to see when they're little,
- 37:59Speaker 2: but the best thing for your children is to keep
- 38:01Speaker 2: your thoughts, your anger, and your misery to yourself.
- 38:05Speaker 3: This is such a tough one. I agree, obviously.
- 38:08Speaker 4: I agree, too.
- 38:08Speaker 3: I don't.
- 38:10Speaker 4: Because the kids didn't pick this.
- 38:12Speaker 2: No, the kids didn't pick this. Um, with ocean, obviously
- 38:17Speaker 2: like she picks up on energy, right? Cause we don't
- 38:21Speaker 2: say anything negative about her dad because it's her dad.
- 38:24Speaker 2: She loves him very much. And I want that for her.
- 38:27Speaker 2: But she asked me, this was a while back. It
- 38:30Speaker 2: was mom, do you hate my dad?
- 38:32Speaker 3: And that was like taking a bullet. I was like, Oh,
- 38:34Speaker 3: this kid's like reading.
- 38:35Speaker 2: Like when she talks about, I'm obviously, I obviously have
- 38:38Speaker 2: something on my face or my energy shifts because.
- 38:41Speaker 1: She feels it.
- 38:42Speaker 3: She's feeling it. So I really have to try a
- 38:44Speaker 3: lot harder.
- 38:45Speaker 2: And now she's getting to the age where he and
- 38:48Speaker 2: I are actually doing a great job of communicating about Ocean.
- 38:52Speaker 2: And she now knows like he and I are on
- 38:54Speaker 2: the same page. If you do something here and the
- 38:58Speaker 2: next day is dad's time, like you're going to be
- 39:00Speaker 2: paying for it at both households. Like this isn't just
- 39:02Speaker 2: a one and done. If there's no iPad here, you're
- 39:05Speaker 2: not iPadding at your dad's house.
- 39:08Speaker 5: But.
- 39:09Speaker 4: Has he taken the iPad?
- 39:12Speaker 3: From what I know.
- 39:13Speaker 4: Best thing we ever did.
- 39:15Speaker 3: You know. And when she comes home, I feel like
- 39:17Speaker 3: she has been a different child since yanking the iPad.
- 39:21Speaker 3: And I have no intention of bringing the iPad back. No.
- 39:24Speaker 4: Doesn't need it.
- 39:24Speaker 1: No.
- 39:25Speaker 3: There's no reason for her to have that. And on
- 39:28Speaker 3: the flip.
- 39:30Speaker 2: You know, I think when you have a baby with
- 39:32Speaker 2: someone and then you find out maybe they're not who
- 39:34Speaker 2: you thought, there is that fear as a mom that
- 39:37Speaker 2: your kid is going to go out and try to
- 39:38Speaker 2: find someone like her dad, which you don't want that
- 39:41Speaker 2: to happen.
- 39:43Speaker 3: But I've kind of.
- 39:45Speaker 3: I've released control, which is really hard for me to do.
- 39:48Speaker 2: So I understand what Bethany's saying is like the only
- 39:51Speaker 2: person that's going to hurt is my child, but also me.
- 39:55Speaker 3: And time is, time tells you everything you need to know.
- 40:00Speaker 2: And I don't want my kid to grow up and,
- 40:03Speaker 2: you know, feel like her parents are against each other
- 40:05Speaker 2: and all of this.
- 40:07Speaker 4: It's just more stress for her.
- 40:08Speaker 3: It's more stress for her. I don't want her to,
- 40:11Speaker 3: I don't want her to live in that headspace.
- 40:13Speaker 4: No, you don't want her worrying.
- 40:14Speaker 1: No.
- 40:15Speaker 6: No.
- 40:15Speaker 3: And I, and I love to be a kid. Yeah.
- 40:18Speaker 2: And for her to see like at orientation, the two
- 40:22Speaker 2: of us together and it.
- 40:25Speaker 3: Just, it made me happy.
- 40:26Speaker 4: It made her happy.
- 40:27Speaker 1: Yes.
- 40:28Speaker 2: All of my feelings aside, it does not matter. This
- 40:31Speaker 2: is strictly about ocean and ocean only and what is
- 40:33Speaker 2: best for her. So I, I co-sign on what Bethany's saying.
- 40:36Speaker 4: Me too.
- 40:37Speaker 3: It's a, it's a hard place to get to though.
- 40:39Speaker 3: You know, mom.
- 40:41Speaker 2: So Selma Blair arrested a tax flight crew after trying
- 40:45Speaker 2: to open plane door midair.
- 40:47Speaker 1: Wow. Yes.
- 40:49Speaker 3: So it says Selma Blair.
- 40:52Speaker 2: This is via TMZ, by the way. Selma Blair allegedly
- 40:55Speaker 2: caused chaos aboard a Delta Airlines flight, punching one flight
- 40:58Speaker 2: attendant and biting another after trying to open the plane's
- 41:02Speaker 2: door in the middle of the flight. We're told the
- 41:05Speaker 2: actors attempted to open the aircraft door while the plane
- 41:07Speaker 2: was in the air.
- 41:08Speaker 3: On Sunday on its way. to jfk international airport leading
- 41:14Speaker 3: to a confrontation with the crew members blair was arrested
- 41:17Speaker 3: and taken to a hospital for evaluation where she remains
- 41:21Speaker 3: as of this post the fbi is currently investigating the
- 41:24Speaker 3: incident oh.
- 41:25Speaker 6: My god she was the one that was in um.
- 41:31Speaker 2: Legally blonde yes that's exactly right i do not picture
- 41:35Speaker 2: that at all she always seems to like have it
- 41:37Speaker 2: so together i feel All right.
- 41:39Speaker 3: Well, I'm wishing Selma Blair all the best.
- 41:42Speaker 4: Me and you both.
- 41:43Speaker 2: Usually on this podcast, I would do a segment called Bravo, Bravo,
- 41:46Speaker 2: fucking Bravo. But that's going to be an entire bonus
- 41:50Speaker 2: episode because I have Heather Gay and she's at the door.
- 41:53Speaker 3: So I'm going to wrap it up. I love you guys.
- 41:54Speaker 3: Thank you for listening. And I will catch you next week.
- 41:57Speaker 5: Bye.
