Transcript
- 0:00Aman and I were messaging yesterday. At this point we just we couldn't not
- 0:03discuss the greatest controversy to possibly ever strike the Farga mort area. After a
- 0:08viral Facebook post yesterday from a joint Facebook account. If you notice that I
- 0:13did notice that a couple of parents who have a fifteen year old daughter.
- 0:16Her name was what Emily? Her name is Emily? Yes, hashtags justice
- 0:20for Emily is now also going viral right here in the FMR. So this
- 0:24is a fifteen year old girl who apparently for five years now every summer she
- 0:28would go work at the Freeze or the Old Tasty Freeze which is now just
- 0:32called the Moorhead Freeze over by msum in Morehead, been there many times,
- 0:36new ownership as of just this spring. I believe a new owner just took
- 0:40over, maybe a couple of months ago. So Emily apparently gets a one
- 0:45hundred dollars tip. Must have been doing a great job or awesome, yes
- 0:49dollars. So she says to the person who we don't know anything about this
- 0:52said person yet says I can't take this. So the person says, okay,
- 0:56well, if you can't take it, I'll put it in the tip
- 0:59jar and drove away, and drove away, and then from there what happens
- 1:03at the end of her shift. More Head Freeze was upset and then accused
- 1:06Emily of taking one hundred dollars from the customer. So April twenty fourth,
- 1:11she received a letter, and this is a letter that the parents shared.
- 1:15It is an employee warning notice from the more Head Freeze and it said the
- 1:18following corrective action must be taken by the employee. Emily needs to understand that
- 1:23some of our customers are elderly and could be dealing with dementia or other illnesses
- 1:27that may make it hard for them to understand their actions. No one in
- 1:30their right frame of mind tips one hundred dollars at a place where every menu
- 1:34item is under twelve dollars. As an employee of the Freeze, it is
- 1:38your responsibility to protect the reputation of the establishment. If the customer is dealing
- 1:42with issues and the family finds out that she was allowed to put one hundred
- 1:46dollars in the tip jar, the Freeze will be looked down upon as a
- 1:49place that takes advantage of elderly. Looking out for our customer should take priority
- 1:55over the opportunity to get a tip. Fast forward to April twenty fifth,
- 1:59she was terminated. This is the next day after getting a warning. Correct
- 2:04so that timeline seems crazy heat that's not enough time to take the corrective action
- 2:08that was listed in the warning. We only have this one side of the
- 2:13story. Of course. I'm looking at this. My first opinion is going,
- 2:16wait a minute, are we missing a whole bunch of details. Do
- 2:21you, as the owner of the freeze, know that there is a person
- 2:24who frequents there often, who is elderly, has dementia and is maybe unaware
- 2:30that they're giving that kind of money. Do you have that detail or are
- 2:32you just like outlandishly putting this out here? Yes, what if? What
- 2:37if they did of dementia? Because a lot of people have pointed out not
- 2:39a lot of elderly people with dementia are just driving themselves around town going to
- 2:44the ice cream store. Not saying it's impossible, right, but there's a
- 2:47lot of things that we don't know, of course, and people have gone
- 2:50nuts on social media. They've now infiltrated the businesses like Facebook page, where
- 2:54you know, if you go and look at a profile picture or a post
- 2:57from two months ago. All of the comments are people just attacking them for
- 3:00this tip situation? Yeah, and of course if you have the other side
- 3:06of the story, we would love to hear. At seven oh one two
- 3:07one ninety eight seven, I keep hitting and refreshed. I would assume that
- 3:10the more HEADPHRASEE is going to address this situation at some point. I don't
- 3:15think you cannot address it without knowing Emily at all, or the family or
- 3:19the owner. The only things in my head that like, okay, well,
- 3:22let's try to imagine what else could be going on. Could there have
- 3:25been previous issues with Emily or you know that the owner like this was sort
- 3:30of the last straw as possible. Again, no idea, assuming not,
- 3:34but maybe because just as hard as it is to have employees, especially at
- 3:38a little small business like that, and somebody for their fifth year coming back,
- 3:43there's probably people right now going, hey, can I hire Emily tomorrow?
- 3:46Somebody who's there working hard, Yeah, just to get a warm body
- 3:49and they're at all Yeah, and so to fire somebody for something like that,
- 3:53it is kind of kind of wild, but again, who knows.
- 3:55You know. In five okay, I was doing a quick math or a
- 3:59little side note, Emily's fifteens or fifth year working there. How's that?
- 4:02How's that working? We got a ten year old out there working fifth season,
- 4:06so maybe she's working twice a year. I don't know. Yeah,
- 4:10yeah, I'm not really sure either way. It's an interesting situation. I
- 4:15think everybody who's on social media keeps following along to see what's coming in next.
- 4:18I do know, yes, people are letting their voices be heard,
- 4:21but it does feel like everyone's piling on a little bit. Yes, you
- 4:25know, because this business owner apparently they're very new to like the restaurant industry,
- 4:30which is an excuse because if you're gonna do something that you're new to,
- 4:33like, you know, you're prone to mistakes and you got to own
- 4:36them. Yeah. So been a while though, since we've seen anything in
- 4:40our area go viral like this. I do love the people that are already
- 4:44making memes. You gotta love the one where people are marked safe from getting
- 4:47fired from one hundred dollars tip today. Well, yeah, guys, you
- 4:51gotta love that. And that's the other thing with one hundred dollars tip.
- 4:55Like they said in the warning to Emily that you know, nobody in their
- 4:59right state of mind would tip one hundred dollars when not too We don't even
- 5:02have anything over twelve dollars in the menu. People would do that. You
- 5:04hear it all the time. Yeah, it's of course, it's like an
- 5:08excessive tip. But if there is somebody who you love. I worked at
- 5:12and again this is a little different circumstance. I worked at a country club.
- 5:15But there were a couple of people who if certain days, like,
- 5:18hey, you're working your butt off, and they would see that, they'd
- 5:21throw fifty one hundred bucks. It's like, we appreciate you because I was
- 5:25working hard. Yeah, I mean the last show them our band played over
- 5:28at Murphy's, a guy gave us two hundred dollars to play a limp Biscuit
- 5:30song. I'm not kiddy, that's a that's irrational behavior. But are we
- 5:34going to play break stuff for two hundred bucks? Yeah? Sure, I
- 5:36don't care if it ruins the night for everybody else. You you know what,
- 5:40I'm putting a warning out there. You should have checked their blood alcohol
- 5:43level because they might not have had that kind of money on their bank account.
- 5:45Nobody in the right state of mind ever like it. A minute in
- 5:47the morning, Big ninety eight point seven, It's time for is it weird?
- 5:54All right? Every uh, every day and time? And that it
- 5:58is currently. We we go through some situations where we admit to some things
- 6:02we do and we discuss are they weird or not? You never know,
- 6:06right, you might think to yourself, but until you get the opinions of
- 6:10others, you don't really know. Now, I hope that there are some
- 6:13parents that are watching right now and also listening and feeling the weirdness that I
- 6:16felt yesterday when the kids were having a great day. They were playing,
- 6:21having some fun, just filthy dirty, like just one of those days.
- 6:25They were outside from the mud to markers, all of it, and it's
- 6:28like, okay, it's bathtime. That's usually what it is in our house,
- 6:32bathtime with bath at once all. Yeah, we got a three and
- 6:35a half and five year old, and yeah, they bathed together up until
- 6:40yesterday, Pike, when they both looked me in the eye and said,
- 6:44no, we want to take showers, and they separated. One went to
- 6:48our bathroom, one went in their bathroom, and there was no more like
- 6:53washing hair. They were like independent and did it all by themselves. Briggs
- 6:58even came out like with his towel wrapped around him like his dad. It
- 7:00was just like one of those moments. I was super emotional, And is
- 7:04that weird that I took that? All in just really hit me. They're
- 7:11growing up? No, Is it weird that you were emotional by your children
- 7:14getting older? No, of course not. I mean, but over the
- 7:15bathtub situation, doesn't. That's a big thing. That's you know, it's
- 7:18what they say, like one day you took a bath for the last time
- 7:21and he didn't realize it. That's what they say. Although some people do
- 7:28occasionally take a bath. I mean, I'll get in a hot bath every
- 7:31once in a while. I'm not even tall and it's hard enough to get
- 7:34in there, so I feel bad for taller people. He's right in all
- 7:38the bath bombs. No, I just going row cleaning some good hot tap
- 7:45water. I gotta tell you, though, Pike, that would hit me
- 7:46harder than I thought it was going. So they'll go back to the bath.
- 7:49That's so I kind of felt like that was it though. It's just
- 7:53the way they really just took it, and just you know, are they
- 7:57standing in the shower or are they still sitting but taking a shower they were
- 8:00standing. Really, Yes, I remember a weird kind of in between phase
- 8:03of sitting in the shower, still playing with shower its bath toys, but
- 8:07just showering showering. No, I get it. Yeah, no, I
- 8:09don't think you're weird at all. I think it'd be weird if you weren't
- 8:11emotional. Little bit it was. I was expecting you to think that was
- 8:13a little crazy. No, all right, thank you, thank you for
- 8:16your support. Yeah. Hey, I'm gonna be honest. Would I like
- 8:20to sit here and tell you you're a weirdo? Yeah, but I'm not
- 8:22gonna lie. All right, man? Is this weird? Though? Is
- 8:26it weird that I was out to eat and occasionally the order will be wrong
- 8:31or they'll cook it incorrectly. Yeah, it happens. And so yesterday we're
- 8:35at a pretty, you know, I think, relatively nice restaurant, and
- 8:37I ordered a burger because I told my wife. She's like, burger huh
- 8:41Really, I'm like, well, you know, it's sort of an underrated
- 8:43thing. If you go to like a nicer restaurant, their burgers are just
- 8:46like so good, exquisite, something about like how thick the hamburger meat is
- 8:50all of it? Yeah, I know are So then they asked me pink
- 8:52or no pink? And I thought that was weird too, because a nicer
- 8:56place, you think you'd get like the full range of rare, medium,
- 9:00rare, you know, And so I said, oh pink, So oh
- 9:03there's some pink. So this burger comes out and it's not pink at all.
- 9:07I mean there's not like a trace of pink nothing. But I'm so
- 9:11hungry and I just destroy food the way it is, I'm like three fourths
- 9:15done with a burger before my wife even asks how it is. And I
- 9:18said, well, you know, nothing you mentioned it. There was no
- 9:20pink in there, not even a bit. Was it still juicy or did
- 9:24it feel like it was well done? Well, you know me, I'll
- 9:26eat anything, so like, yeah, it was way more done than i'd
- 9:28want it. Was it still delicious? Yeah? Okay. But then I
- 9:31started thinking, like, you know, why didn't I just say something?
- 9:35And then she comes over, she goes, how's it tasting? And I
- 9:37go, oh my god, it's good, it's perfect, and I lie.
- 9:41I found myself lying to the server. So it was a weird over
- 9:45the top saying it was perfect. I can't just go yeah, it's pretty
- 9:48good and a little more done than I wanted, but we know, what
- 9:50can you do? Is it weird to lie about that? Yeah? Kinda,
- 9:54I mean especially most people, though you must. But it was too
- 9:58late, wasn't it. I can't ask for or another Can you guys try
- 10:01it again? Don't be the guy who eats half of it and then realizes,
- 10:05oh, by the way, I got halfway through this delicious burger and
- 10:07I wanted it a little bit more pinky. A bite, you can tell
- 10:09there's no pink there right now. Usually people take a bite of it and
- 10:13then they'll come back over and you're like, ah, sorry, this is
- 10:15a little too overdone. We're to go wrong. Though? Did I not
- 10:18communicate it because I started to replay in my head what I said, and
- 10:20I said, yeah, some pink, Or maybe she thought I said no
- 10:24pink whatsoever. Maybe she told the kitchen pink, this guy wants pink,
- 10:28and they just ignored it, or they hurt something else. There's a lot
- 10:31of ways that could have gone wrong. Yeah, I think you, I
- 10:35think you probably should have, especially given that you were in a fancy restaurant,
- 10:39at least acknowledged the fact that, Hey, just so you know,
- 10:41it wasn't the way. It was still a delicious burger, but I wanted
- 10:43a little bit more pink for the next time somebody orders a little pink.
- 10:46I just like the I like the pink. You know what I mean?
- 10:50Yeah, trust me. A well done burger, no, thank you,
- 10:52well done? Anything well done? Steak? No? No, not for
- 10:56me? Okay, well, not weird at all? Then look at us.
- 11:00We gotta be we gotta be weirder otherwise we're gonna have to stop doing
- 11:01this. What's a point taken Amanda in the morning. Now, this is
- 11:07ruining your relationship. Amanda a relationship expert and family therapist. Her name is
- 11:11Tracy Ross. She says, something called parallel scrolling. Now, that is
- 11:18not an intimate act. Okay, it's quite the opposite. In fact,
- 11:22she said, put this in the urban diction. Have you tried parallel scrolling?
- 11:26It's great, you're looking to spice it up. Give this a try.
- 11:31Yeah, No, not something. What it actually is is when you're
- 11:33so you are in bed, there's that, there's that, but you're both
- 11:37on your phone and you're both separately scrolling mindlessly. At the end of the
- 11:41day, and she said it's ruining the connection that is for a strong relationship,
- 11:46even though it's tempting to unwind at the end of the day. She
- 11:50suggests doing something called h parallel play. That means you're gonna oh yeah,
- 11:56yeah, yeah. So now you move into the middle of the bed and
- 12:00you scroll together. Oh is it where you maybe want to get like an
- 12:03iPad or something a little bigger, But you're going to scroll together and look
- 12:07at the same which is crazy because my wife's algorithm, like her Instagram feed
- 12:11versus mine, are going to be letely opposite. Absolutely. My husband's like,
- 12:15okay, I'm done seeing all of you crazy moms on social media,
- 12:18period, end of story. And I don't want to know if you saw
- 12:20his, you'd be probably a little concerned. It's a sports pike, lots
- 12:24and lots of sports. Why I have that too, But also it's a
- 12:28good healthy mix of sports and and what well, I just I'm always telling
- 12:31my Instagram I said, stop showing me this stuff, like you know,
- 12:35swimsuits? Did you yell at it? I do all the time. I
- 12:39reported a claim with Zuckerberg, I said, you pocket posts. I think
- 12:45it's safe to say Okay, we all are guilty of parallel scrolling. You'd
- 12:48be crazy to say that you put your phone down, especially because you bring
- 12:52them to bed at night. That's my alarm clock. You're charging it by
- 12:54your bedside. That's usually how it goes. But you just got to put
- 12:58the phone down, put it down, and man, gotta put it down.
- 13:01The rich coming from you, And absolutely I'm guilty. I'm the only
- 13:05one being honest over here admitting to it. I mean, I have lunch
- 13:07today at Blarney Stone and we usually do a little parallel scrolling. Then should
- 13:11put our phones down today, We should leave them in the truck. We
- 13:15gotta do that live video. We gotta do a live video. Okay,
- 13:18we'll go back out, get the get the camera and then we'll come back
- 13:20out. By the way, might as well tell people that's your chance to
- 13:22win an awesome gift card to Blarney Stone. Yeah, yeah, say eleven
- 13:26thirty ish today we got a date. Really get to know each other.
- 13:30Lord knows we don't spend enough time together, so that'll be nice. Right.
- 13:33Trending, Now here's what you need to know. Oh, we know
- 13:37what's trending right here in the FM area. There is a post that has
- 13:41gone viral after parents shared that their daughter started her fifth season working at the
- 13:46Moorhead Freeze. She was recently let go because of a generous tip that a
- 13:48customer left her. The daughter was after a one hundred dollars tip and told
- 13:52the customer she could not accept it. The customer put one hundred dollars tip
- 13:56into the jar and then drove away. At the end of her ship,
- 14:00more Head Freeze was upset accused her of taking the one hundred dollars from the
- 14:03customer. On April twenty fourth, she received a letter, and it was
- 14:07an employee warning notice, basically saying that she needs to understand that some of
- 14:11the customers are elderly and could be dealing with dementia or other illnesses that make
- 14:16it hard for them to understand their actions, and no one in their right
- 14:18frame of mind tips one hundred dollars at a place where every menu item is
- 14:22under twelve dollars. The next day after the warning, she ended up getting
- 14:26fired just like that. Fired. Yeah, and actually we have a phone
- 14:30call here. I think somebody wants to talk about it. Good morning.
- 14:33Have you guys heard the new tea about the morehead Freeze, Well, we
- 14:37just spoke to the grandmother. I don't know if you heard that. No,
- 14:39I missed it. Okay, So we talked to her and she gave
- 14:41us a little intel, but not too much. What are you hearing?
- 14:45I heard that Emily was fired for getting one hundred dollars tip. Oh yeah,
- 14:48no, so we know, like the actual tea we thought you had
- 14:52like extra tea. No, no, no, we've been talking all about
- 14:56it, and then the gramma called it because we had her age wrong.
- 14:58We said she was fifty. Turns out she's nineteen. But yeah, we're
- 15:03just kind of waiting to see if that is there more to it, because
- 15:05right now it looks horrible for the Freeze. Oh completely, I mean have
- 15:09you seen their Facebook? Oh yeah, we've been hitting refreshed, waiting for
- 15:11a stem not to mention with the grandma. She basically spilled that because the
- 15:18one question we all had is in the employee warning notice talking about how there
- 15:24was an elderly person that they could be dealing with and show or illness.
- 15:28So we're like, okay, so maybe we don't have all the details,
- 15:30maybe there was more to it. Turns out that's not the case. Either.
- 15:33So it's really wild. Well, I mean, if that person did
- 15:39have dementia, why would they be driving. There's a lot of questions.
- 15:43Unlikely. I mean definitely a lot of people on the road that shouldn't be
- 15:45but that is still unlikely. So and it's out from the grandma. There
- 15:48was no indication whatsoever to Emily that this person was anything but a normal functioning
- 15:54adult who was voluntarily giving her one hundred dollars. That was generous, and
- 15:58was like, you know what, this person deserves it because they work at
- 16:02an ice cream shop and they're a kid. Well exactly, but the rumor
- 16:07is now Dairy Queen is already snuck in with a job offer. Oh good,
- 16:11yeah, oh, this is this is something Holy moly. Well,
- 16:15thanks for calling you too, have a good day. Yeah, we're gonna
- 16:18keep you all posted. I hope that we get some Well, what can
- 16:22you say if you're more at freeze at this point? Again, unless there's
- 16:26some information we don't know, you just got to basically, you know,
- 16:29swallow the pill and say sorry, we messed up, we messed up.
- 16:33Maybe offer her job back. I don't know if she's gonna take it back,
- 16:34but I think you just you really have to just be honest that you
- 16:37made a mistake if in fact you feel as though you did. Because they
- 16:41are a new owner, very very new, so you know you're gonna make
- 16:44mistakes if you're new to anything, but something like this. No, all
- 16:48right, did you see the Tea Wolves swept the Sun's yeh yeah, big
- 16:52all of a sudden humpike, Okay, man, it's just because I don't
- 16:55talk about it all the time. In my heart, I've always been a
- 16:57Tea Wolves fan, been waiting twe years for them to win a playoff series
- 17:00and for them to come out and do it so just convincingly. Oh man,
- 17:04I'm excited. It's gonna be fun. See how it goes one more
- 17:07serious than then. If they win that one, they're in the Western Conference
- 17:10finals, and then if they win that one, they're in the Championship.
- 17:12So a long way to go. I mean, the NBA playoffs are excrucius.
- 17:17Isn't it crazy? I know? Because it doesn't end up the second
- 17:19week of June? Or yeah? All right, Yellowstone fans, Yeah,
- 17:23I was one of them, and I honestly just kind of forgot about the
- 17:26entire series at this point. Didn't think we were ever going to get any
- 17:29resolution. Well, the finale is going to be in November. And Ian
- 17:33Bowen, who plays Ryan, over the Weekend Dish that he said, I'm
- 17:37may be overly confident. He's being honest about it, but he says he
- 17:41thinks that this is going to be the best series finale in history. He
- 17:45says, thank you for everybody for your patient so it'll be worth the wait,
- 17:48I promise you. He says, it's going to satisfy us. And
- 17:52I just don't know. I just could to set reasonable expectations for people.
- 17:56It's going to be the greatest finale of any shit ever. Think less would
- 18:00be a disappointment in the morning on Sage seven, I'm not going to pretend
- 18:06to understand what fashion is because you know, I'm starting to feel like every
- 18:08time I see something that's quote trendy, I go, oh my god,
- 18:11how stupid. But it's all over the board. What do I know,
- 18:15know, area, Well, there's a new trend I can almost for sure
- 18:18say is stupid. They are six hundred and thirty one dollars jeans, which
- 18:22alone, it's like we've seen it all with jeans. What more could you
- 18:26do? Why are they worth six hundred and thirty one dollars. Well,
- 18:27Amanda, these particular designer jeans make it look like you've wet your pants.
- 18:33What ye like? So it's obviously like dark colored around your a lighter washed
- 18:40Jene this for the fellas and so around guys. I can see a photo
- 18:45here, Amanda, and if you can see over at my computer, but
- 18:47basically, yeah, right around looks like Joopsy Daisy, I mean quite an
- 18:51oops. Yeah, why and what would be the point of this? You
- 18:53know you're gonna have to ask Jordan Luca, the designer who showed off these
- 18:57that the renown on fall Winter Catwalk collection on sale now for six hundred and
- 19:03thirty one dollars. Let's talk about a pair of jeans. I mean,
- 19:07you're they're still They've always felt like they were expensive. I remember back in
- 19:11the day. I mean we could even go back to Jabbo's back in the
- 19:14nineties, you know, or even late eighties ze cavaigies. I feel like
- 19:18they were already like sixty to eighty dollars back then. Now, a pair
- 19:21of jeans, if you're you know, wearing like good American is kind of
- 19:26a lady's brand that a lot of people like to wear it, and those
- 19:27are probably one hundred and twenty. It's crazy. I mean they usually last.
- 19:33That's his say. You get what you pay for, you know.
- 19:34I grew up always like you know, the American Eagle jeans. It was
- 19:37always like two for forty or two for twenty or whatever. The hecksal nice
- 19:41though, when they when you can get a good deal or like buy Bogo
- 19:45jeans, that is sound. That's just it. When they're so cheap,
- 19:48I don't care how long they last, totally like it's worth. It's better
- 19:52than baying one hundred some bucks. I'm currently wearing a set of thirty dollars
- 19:55wranglers I got Amazon to my hotel. Love it. I mean you really,
- 19:59you been working them jeans for a while. The jeans to work,
- 20:03you know, you are like breaking a baseball glove. That's what I'm doing
- 20:06to these wranglers. That's why I've been wearing the pretty much every day.
- 20:08Have you once looked at me and thought, geez, he's wearing those wranglers
- 20:11a lot. Now? You don't pay attention the man. That's the thing
- 20:14about jeans. I have a few pair, but I usually end up wearing
- 20:18the same pair of jeans pretty much all the time. We could go a
- 20:22lifetime working together and I would never ever notice, No, at no point,
- 20:26but I would notice if you were wearing the six hundred and thirty one
- 20:30dollars pair of jeans that are you know, making me take a peek in
- 20:33that area. Pea pants. Yeah, no, sad to get nicknames run
- 20:36the office old pea pants for one, still raise it. It does remind
- 20:41me, though, rest in peace to my grams. I really pias pants.
- 20:45Huh no, no, no, no, no old pants spirit No.
- 20:48But it totally reminds me. And we went through this stage and they're
- 20:52still kind of okay. I've gotten better about not wearing jeans that are distressed,
- 20:56but my grandpa, you know, showing up and I'd have distressed jeans
- 21:02and he'd be like, like holes in them? Yeah, where'd you pay
- 21:03for those? Those that do have been free? So that's kind Are we
- 21:07going to feel this way about these jeens or is this going to be a
- 21:10trend that's going to keep her stick around? Like they like the quote from
- 21:15Billy Madison. If be and your pants is cool, consider me, Miles
- 21:18Davis, remember that one. I do. But here's a you know the
- 21:22show I talk about maybe a little bit. It's called I Think You Should
- 21:25Leave. Are you familiar with that? So Tim Robinson, it's on Netflix.
- 21:27It's the greatest show that was ever created. In my opinion, I've
- 21:30never heard of it. It's hilarious, all right. So there's a skit
- 21:33on there, sketch where this guy comes out of the men's bathroom and men
- 21:37go through this occasionally where you little trip, Yeah, you drip a little
- 21:41and so you can see it on the pants, especially like a dress pant
- 21:44h and so he gets called out for it. But then they have a
- 21:47website that sells pants that are designed like this exact one that we're describing.
- 21:52So then you can just say, oh, it's not it's not p I
- 21:56bought it like this. So maybe that's where this all stem from. Probably
- 22:00it's brilliant way you can just freely pee your pants and nobody can question it.
- 22:03Be you, Oh you think I beat my pants? Yeah, okay,
- 22:07it's because you can't afford genes like this. Yeah, if somebody can
- 22:10make a three dollars version of them, maybe people would buy them six and
- 22:14thirty one dollars is insane. That's a price you pay for being able to
- 22:17freely be your pants. I guess in the morning, Amanda Stills, the
- 22:25seat looks sea brought to you my Valley Service mechanical. Well the surprise here.
- 22:29Taylor Swift officially number one, and she responded to her fans by saying,
- 22:33my mind is blown. I'm completely floored by the love you've shown this
- 22:36album. Two point six million? Are you actually serious? Thank you for
- 22:41listening and streaming, welcoming the tortured poets into your life. Feeling completely overwhelmed.
- 22:45I was ready, already so fired up to get back out on tour.
- 22:48She's two point six million? What two point six million? It seems
- 22:52like low. Probably album sold? I would thank oh, probably albums sold?
- 22:56Yeah, Because I mean she's so good at just acting shocked what you
- 23:00really didn't expect it to be Without the shock, I couldn't believe the numbers
- 23:03my new album is doing. It's crazy. You know what I did?
- 23:07Love is her and Trap hanging out at that gala over the weekend for Patrick
- 23:11Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes. He gets up and he starts talking about how they're
- 23:15just going to go ahead and give away with his significant other. They were
- 23:18chit chatting referring to Taylor's but that they were just going to go ahead and
- 23:21give away tickets to the Arras tour brought in eighty thousand dollars. Yeah,
- 23:25he's got quite the little hook up there. I'm sure everybody's hitting them up.
- 23:27Hey, do you want to come to our event? Oh and bring
- 23:29that significant other of yours. It will give you a plus no, bat
- 23:32girl, Yeah, bring her right, Andy Britney spears. She finally settled
- 23:34everything with her dad and apparently justice was not served according to her and her
- 23:40friends that are close to her, even though she has to pay two million
- 23:42dollars for her dad's attorney fees and she had to pay her attorney four million
- 23:47dollars. She was all up on social media with just a lot of stuff
- 23:51of the weekend, including a picture of her bear butt, talking about her
- 23:55her issues she's having with her nerve damage and how she has to have acupuncture
- 23:59all the time because her family locked her up for four years or four months
- 24:02and you experience nerve damage in that amount of time. I don't know.
- 24:04Apparently she has she always like every four months or so, she just like
- 24:10goes back into this place and she starts talking about it. Yeah, do
- 24:14you know what I mean? And then she kind of goes away and starts
- 24:15dancing and do her thing. But you know when she's probably away is when
- 24:18she's either in Hawaii. Those close to her say she's going there every single
- 24:22month and enjoying her time, and then every other month she's going to French
- 24:26Polynesia. Now they're really worried about her though, because the amount of money
- 24:30she's dropping. She's dropping anywhere with the I mean million dollars each pop doing
- 24:36it. And you're is she bringing yeah, probably paying for multiple people guys
- 24:41to just latching onto her life. And I'm speculating at this point, well
- 24:44no, because she was just spotted over the weekend. Again remember the housekeeper
- 24:47who was a felon who she's not together with. Yeah, he was driving
- 24:51her around and she's like hiding in the front seat of the car like slouched
- 24:53over. You're spending, even if you are Britney Spears who made a lot
- 24:56of money back in the day, I'm sure, but at this point,
- 25:00if it's not coming in as fast as it's going out, you can run
- 25:02out eventually. I know those that are around her, are very nervous for
- 25:07her financial state but also her mental state. They are saying that not necessarily
- 25:11she needs to be in a conservatorship, but that there needs to be somebody
- 25:14supporting her around her and taking care of her. At the very least.
- 25:18She seems to be proud of her butt, and that's good. You know,
- 25:22I wish I was as proud. I mean, I got kind of
- 25:23a hank Hill bud going on over here. Have an introverted one, yeah,
- 25:26just like non existent. You won't be seeing our rear ends on social
- 25:30media anytime. Like Get Amanda in the morning on Big Did you see the
- 25:37story of this young girl, little kid right, goes to bed at night
- 25:41and is claiming that there is monsters in her walls. That seems to be
- 25:45monsters. Pretty typical situation for kids or you know something right, hearing noises?
- 25:51Yeah, young kids. So she keeps complaining, you know, scared
- 25:53at night, and mom and dad are like, honey, there are no
- 25:56monsters. Listen, I've been around. In fact, I used to think
- 26:00there were monsters in my room. There's not. Okay, It's hard to
- 26:03tell a kid that. So eventually though, they noticed a different issue in
- 26:06the house. It was a monster's but they did have like a bee or
- 26:10two flying around the house. Nobody like, okay, bees in the house.
- 26:15Honey, we got bees in here. I think I'd rather have monster
- 26:18in my house than a bee in my house. So they get a bee
- 26:21keeper to come over. The be expert guy comes over with this ridiculous caged
- 26:26suit. He starts digging around and he rips up the floorboards above where the
- 26:32young girl is sleeping in Amanda. He finds not a monster, but fifty
- 26:37thousand bees. No no, no, no, no, no no,
- 26:44an insane amount of bees that apparently had been buzzing and buzzing and buzzing so
- 26:48much so that there was honey dripping through the floorboards. So there was like
- 26:53this girl, there was honey on her stuff. They didn't notice. I'm
- 26:57concerned now about the parents just in general, Like it's one thing when your
- 27:02daughter says that, but then you never went and checked, like you know,
- 27:04you're not peaking, and then you see honey. Do you think she's
- 27:07what trying to trap the monster with a jar? Like some honey just sitting
- 27:11there. Honey, you got honey in here? Honey, I shrunk the
- 27:15kids. Now, I'm just saying stuff classic. So did you ever think
- 27:18there were monsters when you were a kid? Were you scaredy cat? Oh?
- 27:21Yeah, I had a few scaredy cat moments. I slept with my
- 27:22mom probably, And so come on, now, at least eleven really?
- 27:30Oh yeah, every night? I feel like I did. I don't really
- 27:33remember, like did you have a step dad in there or was this between
- 27:37time? Between time? Oh? Wait, no, eleven? No,
- 27:40so this would have been seven, okay till seven. That's fine. Yeah,
- 27:42I know you're right. I remember being horrified we moved out when I
- 27:47was like, question, well, would to be factual here, we don't
- 27:49want to spread misinformation. How old were you when you were sleeping with your
- 27:52mom? So? Probably fourth grade? Okay, a little before fourth grade?
- 27:56Yep. So I remember moving out from we lived in Glennen and then
- 28:00we moved out to the house that we still have we as my step mom
- 28:03lives there. But it's out in the country Highway nine over by the racetrack
- 28:07out there, and I just remember there was this gravel road that like is
- 28:11outside my bedroom window, and like cars would just stop at night, like
- 28:15in the middle of the night, a car you would see the headlights and
- 28:18they would stop on this gravel road and there it's there is no business stopping
- 28:22there. So in my head it's like, well, they're parking there so
- 28:26they can come in and kill me. They never did, thank god,
- 28:29but it just happened more often than you would think. Yeah, I'm not
- 28:32trying to one up you hear, but also lived on a gravel road growing
- 28:34up. It was a dead end. If somebody drove by, then you
- 28:37feel like they didn't come back. I mean I did train people when they
- 28:41were come to our house sometimes to turn their lights off before they got to
- 28:44our house, and then you can then you can turn them off when you
- 28:48go back. Yeah, you tricks or I know. It was a brochure,
- 28:52like all right, if you're gonna sneak over at night, here's the
- 28:55procedures. Please follow steps one through five. Turn your headlights off, and
- 28:59then you can come in.
