Unmasking America's Hidden War: Politics, Money, and Injustice · 2 Men In Black and White: An Honest Conversation

• MARK HAYES (00:01.566) Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to another exciting edition of Two Men in Black and White, an Honest Conversation. Let's get real, folks. Apparently, we're not getting all the information that's coming out of Iran. Apparently, we're over there getting our asses kicked. Just a little bit. Apparently, Iran was prepared for this war and we were not. Well, isn't that a coinkydink? Think about the morons. on the in the leadership team getting us ready to go into battle. You know, because they're all magas, right? So you had to get rid of all the good people, all the good military leaders to get the MAGA guys in there to go along with this dumb shit. So, yeah, we've got a problem. Among other things that are going on, Brock and Ellis joins me now live from the top of the beautiful Hudson River Valley. just outside New York City with a closer look at the state of the fucked up politics of America. Brock, good afternoon, happy Saturday to you. Thank goodness it's a Saturday because after we get done with this broadcast, I'm gonna start drinking heavily because that's the only thing that can save us now. We gotta find a way to take the edge off. We're not ready for Iran. They've been prepping for two decades. They're ready and they're kicking our asses. Brock Ganeles (01:32.11) So how are we gonna get out of this? I understand how we got into it, right? We're in it now. We're a week into it. We don't really have an established goal except for them to cry uncle. Like we're literally terminology, right? For them to, right? 90 million people, like I don't understand what is expected. Some sort of unconditional surrender. MARK HAYES (01:47.146) Thank Brock Ganeles (01:58.654) and what the handing over of like the oil or something like that but there's i don't understand how we get out of it from here I mean, I mean, Trump can just end the war, declare victory, lie his ass off, right? Create a narrative that a fake narrative and roll with it. I understand how he, he can do it. But for the rest of us who live in the real world, like how do we actually extricate ourselves from this conflict now that we're in it? I don't. I don't see, I mean, we don't have a strategic, necessarily a strategic goal unless we're, unless we flat out say it's regime change. And then does that mean regime change with us inserting someone that are friendly to America? And we think there's, then there wouldn't be a civil war in Iran or a war throughout the middle East. I don't, I don't, just don't see the plan. MARK HAYES (02:57.754) Well, Brock, let's look at the history. So far we've kidnapped one nation's leader, we've killed another, and we still have no plan. Now with the kidnapping down there in Venezuela, we just put Maduro's sidekick in office. So we basically got the same regime. So there was no regime change there. Why would we think anything else is coming? Look, we know this is Wag the Dog. We know this is about the Epstein files. and see, and here's what I want Magda to understand right now, you bunch of fucking idiots, okay? You got us in this mess because you were okay with a morally corrupt leader and his band of merry men and dog-killing women, right? The moral corruption here, is having a huge impact on this Epstein war. Right? The Epstein class is coming for Iran, not Americans in Kearney, Nebraska, not Americans in Jonesboro, Arkansas. They can't eat their racism out there and they can't eat shit because their jobs are going to shit. And we've got a morally corrupt man at the helm. who's being blackmailed and threatened at every turn to get him to do the dumb shit that they can't do by themselves. Israel didn't want to go it alone, but Israel said, hey, Ehud Barak, what'd you find out about your boy Trump and these little girls that he was, scraping and essaying? Huh? What do you, what do you know? What'd you and Epstein find out when you guys were, you know, romping around the world, know, propping up authoritarian regimes. What do you guys know? you got a little info for us? okay. Looks like Donnie's compromised. This is why you don't have morally compromised leaders, especially one that's a leader of the free world. We're losing hundreds of millions of dollars in American base equipment, radars. MARK HAYES (05:23.35) SAM missile launch surface-to-air missile launchers technology It's all being blown to bits. You know why because Iran was prepared and Donnie Boy's corrupt and can't answer he got no answers because he's so embroiled and Now trying to cover up for his immorality his dark past is haunting us the American people Because of these maga fucks Brock Ganeles (05:52.078) I ran was prepared also apparently getting some help from Russia in terms of locating assets, which just just making them more accurate in terms of their, you know, counter punches. Yeah, we're draining hundreds of millions of dollars while we have no, you know, while we're cutting services here. So America first is just totally out the window because. MARK HAYES (05:57.322) Nice. And China. Don't forget China. Brock Ganeles (06:17.1) the money's being spent in a foreign war and a foreign war that is triggering a slowdown in the world economy because we've actually restricted the flow of oil. So not only are prices higher, but just less of it is moving around, which is, you know, just going to slow down global trade, which once again is going to impact our economy, which is already in decline. So we're going to get more inflation at the gas pump, $3.49. cents a gallon here in the upper Hudson River Valley as of this morning, right? That's a good 40 cent rise in the last week, which is a good 13, 14%, whatever that number is loss of close to a hundred thousand jobs in February. the whole tariff plan of bringing manufacturing back and triggering more and better jobs in the U S that was also a foul, also a fallacy. So prices going up, jobs getting lost, affordability goes down, MARK HAYES (06:51.527) and rising. MARK HAYES (07:10.058) That didn't work. that didn't work. Brock Ganeles (07:16.944) Trump doesn't even they don't want to talk about that anymore, right? They just punted on affordability. And now we're playing the global powerhouse card and it's a failed card because America doesn't want to be a part of this because even the dumbest of the dumb in America don't understand why we're there. MARK HAYES (07:22.25) Hmm. MARK HAYES (07:40.456) Yeah, yeah. And, you know, the fact of the matter is, we just got out of Af fucking Afghanistan. Why were we there so long? We knew how many years have we known that weapons of mass destruction was a bunch of bullshit and we were still there. What? 15, 18 years after we found that out. 20 years after we found that we just got out. You can't kill your way to peace. Didn't I just say that last week? You can't kill a generation of thinking. Do you not? Okay, when you start killing folks in the Middle East, the entire Middle East hates you. Right? We had done nothing to the Saudis. Why did we have 20 Saudi hijackers? Right? best thing we as Americans can hope for is that we're not a victim of some kind of hiatus terrorist attack in the near future. That's the best thing we as Americans can hope for, especially if you're traveling abroad, especially if you're some of those Americans that are fucking stuck in the Middle East and can't get home and have been told, get home the best way you can. By the way, we started a war and we can't help you get home. Good luck. You're on your own. Fuck yous all. I mean, look at the clown car that's driving this thing. These people have no business in charge of a fucking lemonade stand, much less, you know, a multi-billion dollar, the most sophisticated war machine in the world that's ever been assembled. And the Iranians are making it look like romper room. Because all the good people don't want to be involved. All the good people know it's illegal. All the good people know there's no reason for us to be involved in attacking Iran except for to divert attention to the president's immorality. And now, now we know that he was credibly accused of a sexual assault again. MARK HAYES (10:09.322) Did I say again? What does that make 27 allegations of credible sex S a I mean, many more people have to sue him for $93 million? How many more people have to come forward and say, Donald Trump sexually assaulted me? Brock Ganeles (10:30.146) The one that's getting played today, though, right, is a 14 year old girl. Right. And and as a reminder to everyone, this is way before Donald Trump was a political figure. His politics had nothing to do with this. In fact, he was, you know, playing. Host playing as a Democrat back in those days, fiddling around with the Clintons in New York. He was just a real estate guy in New York, caught up. MARK HAYES (10:33.544) What do you? MARK HAYES (10:45.63) playing Democrat. MARK HAYES (10:50.474) See ya. Brock Ganeles (10:55.906) you know, in an international pedophile not caught up in deeply embedded in an international pedophile ring and having, yeah, having young women go into the FBI, go into the authorities, accusing him of sexual assault. And they're talking to these. MARK HAYES (11:01.958) Enjoy! Enjoy! Brock Ganeles (11:15.34) victims multiple times like the feds believe these stories these stories were very credible and you can't play this as a political hack job because Donald Trump wasn't a political figure back then just a guy just a guy with a lot of money it's all he was MARK HAYES (11:29.034) Yeah. Well, we never verified he had a lot of money. We know he was given a lot of money. Yeah, we know he fucked off a lot of it and his dad kept giving it to him until the weld run dry. Here's the deal, right? The FBI doesn't interview people numerous times without finding them credible, right? They found this young lady credible. The only reason, the only reason Brock Ganeles (11:33.772) Yeah, guys say he needs a lot of money. Yeah. MARK HAYES (11:57.47) the Trumpster got away with it is because that young lady was intimidated, her family was threatened, she was threatened, and she would not cooperate with the case. Right? And for good reason. Now we know why. Because back then people were murdered. Remember all the code words in the Epstein files? People got graped, people got oopsed, right? Remember all these code words that are in there? We know that these people were murderers, killers. in addition to their pedophilia, right? You know, just because they look classy and had a lot of money doesn't mean they weren't murderous thugs. Epstein was a murderous thug. He was part of a cabal of murderous thugs that also preyed on children and engaged in serial pedophilia like we've never seen before, brock. Like we've never seen before. But hey, this gang problem with these blacks and browns, that's what we gotta focus on. Let's not focus on the people who are destroying our democracy. Let's focus on the people whose necks we already got our foot on. This is what pisses black people off, brah, right? Nobody's getting arrested. Nobody's getting perp walked. And we're sitting here talking about their crimes. in broad daylight. broad daylight. You know, we have the Innocence Project, Ad Nausea in America, several organizations, and their task is to help innocent people who've been convicted of crimes. And most of those people are black or brown. MARK HAYES (13:51.549) I mean, come on, baby. And you don't know why people pretend they feign ignorance and they don't know why black folks are so hot. We're going from zero. I mean, just look at social media. You see black folks going from zero to 100 when being antagonized. We've had enough. We've had enough. Now there are new reports coming out saying that You know, one in four black men voted for Donald Trump. Get the fuck outta here. Ain't no way. Ain't no way we've got that much self-loathing in the black community. Ain't no way. Brock Ganeles (14:33.442) Yeah, I don't believe that. I don't believe that. I don't believe that. But I certainly believe white men and white women voted for Trump, triple Trumped, and they're still there. They're still making excuses. They're still ignoring the facts, looking the other way. MARK HAYES (14:42.642) They were with it. They tripled it. Yeah? Brock Ganeles (14:55.278) Two sides, you know, both sides are visiting things and like trying to play off like Biden was a bad guy also, like everyone's a bad guy, you know, but Trump's a bad guy at such another level, but they don't, the MAGA world doesn't, doesn't care. They're just, right? They need their white supremacy so bad that they're not going to judge their leader. They're not going to hold them to any account because it's too fundamental for them to have this social order. So they're looking the other way. MARK HAYES (15:16.596) They don't. MARK HAYES (15:23.625) Right. MARK HAYES (15:34.972) And Brock, help me, because you may have been to some of the meetings of the white contingent. Why? I don't understand. know, white America has so... Don't get me wrong. You know, I've had great opportunities in my lifetime. I've had some great jobs. I've had some... I've had a pretty good life. I'm not even going to lie to you. Right? Could have been better. I probably could have done some things better. But why'd I marry- Man, I don't understand what gets them so, especially the people who are in positions of authority and positions of power, in positions to really affect change. What are they angry about? Brock Ganeles (16:10.702) Okay, I'm gonna... Brock Ganeles (16:26.542) Okay. I'm going to come, I'm going to come with a theory. I'm going to come with a theory and it doesn't explain everyone because there just some white people who, you know, have a white superiority complex and believe, and those are like the really successful ones at the top, like the manipulators really believe it. But I think for the rank and file MAGA, I think the anger, MARK HAYES (16:30.886) Okay. Okay. MARK HAYES (16:35.976) Right. MARK HAYES (16:42.995) short. MARK HAYES (16:49.085) Sure. Brock Ganeles (16:56.65) is also tied in with the income inequality because I think more and more white people felt like that they were slipping as much as we have so many things and so many toys, right? I still feel like there was a lot of people in white America who felt like they were slipping. a big number, the middle class was getting squeezed, right? That this affordability issue has been going on for a lot longer than it started to come into play. And the lower class was doing worse and worse. So they'd get angry anytime they would see a person of color doing well, because they didn't feel like that they were doing better. MARK HAYES (17:19.977) Thank you. MARK HAYES (17:23.657) Hmm. MARK HAYES (17:32.68) Sure. MARK HAYES (17:40.873) Okay. Brock Ganeles (17:41.39) Because so much of the gains of the economy in American life was accruing to fewer and fewer people. So I do feel like there was a cadre and a big slug of white America that felt like they were taking backward steps or at least treading treading water and not moving forward. And they felt. resentful about that. And of course they immediately turned because they were being fed this also to blame the others. And I think so that's a theory that I have that, that, you know, at least to me explains some of it, but of course racism has been embedded in the country since, you know, since the beginning. So some people have just been passed down to them that they just deserve to be running shit and that no matter MARK HAYES (18:10.419) Sure. Sure. MARK HAYES (18:20.393) Okay. MARK HAYES (18:27.538) Right. Brock Ganeles (18:34.978) where they are on the economic spectrum, on the social spectrum, they're at the top of the heap and they've just been sold that and told that their entire lives. So anytime that's in any way encroached upon, they feel like they're getting fucked. either of those explanations hold any water with you? MARK HAYES (18:55.282) Yeah. Yeah, I mean, it makes sense. I will say that. I hadn't looked at it that way because I, look, I know a guy who spelled his middle name wrong in our yearbook and owns millions of dollars worth of some of the best real estate in America. Okay. Brock Ganeles (19:21.486) Yeah, you see the success of white people, like, white people always just think that they deserved it and earned it, you know? So there's never like an appreciation that this country has worked on their behalf along the way and that they've had a nice wind behind their sails their entire lives. White people will never acknowledge that. MARK HAYES (19:45.585) Yeah. Yeah. Brock Ganeles (19:46.968) They got to live, they got to live the story, the bootstrap that it's cause they worked harder, right? They have, they have to like live the narrative that they've been sold to themselves for some reason. MARK HAYES (19:52.295) Right. MARK HAYES (19:58.591) Yeah. So how do we look at, you know, people like Jasmine Crockett, unelectable, know, AOC, too loud, to this, to that, Maxine Waters, you know, rough around the edges. You know, we look at accomplished African-American, Cory Booker, Cory Booker gets shit. Cory, if you didn't know, if you were on the phone with Cory Booker, you wouldn't know if he was African American or not. He uses the King's English properly. So, you know, I just, and see, and again, Brock, that's part of the frustration in black America. You do what you got to, you do what you think you should do to fit in. And then you still can't get accepted, right? You still can't get over the hump, right? You still can't get the mortgage. You still can't get the business loan. You still can't get the full grasp of the American dream. And that's where the frustration lies when you look at it through the brown lens, the black and brown lens. And it makes you furious. That's why black people lives. Brock Ganeles (21:20.814) How many? MARK HAYES (21:25.264) much shorter lives. Brock Ganeles (21:26.412) Yeah, blood pressure. MARK HAYES (21:28.711) My pressure beat through the roof. Brock Ganeles (21:30.316) We all have high blood pressure. get it. Plus, you're always in fear. always worried about, okay, I guess if I'm going to give advice to black America, I'm sure. Uh-oh. I just, I just think we lost every viewer. is that, I mean, stop playing white America's game because they, they aren't going to reward, they aren't going to reward you for it anyway. So stop trying to be a part of the club. MARK HAYES (21:38.687) You You MARK HAYES (21:51.069) Then what game do we play? Brock Ganeles (22:00.238) Like just be loud, be controversial, just barrel through, play the game like white people do. Just, you know, I don't know if it'll work, but just barrel through and build your own shit as much as possible. Build your own shit as much as possible. I know. MARK HAYES (22:11.881) But see, here's the problem with playing the IWGP. You don't have resources. We did that, they burned it down. We built our own shit, they burned it down. Brock Ganeles (22:25.42) This time build your own shit and then have armed guards. Have armed guards at the door. Yeah, have your own fucking militia. MARK HAYES (22:29.161) and build the army. Well, we did that too and they killed all the Black Panthers. C.C. Flat Hampton. mean, brah, you're coming. You're telling us things that have been tried. Right. And this is but this is the American history and the American mystery. The American mystery is why don't you want us to have shit? You listen to you listen to rap music. Brock Ganeles (22:36.46) Be well armed. MARK HAYES (23:00.701) back in the day in the 80s, the golden age of rap, when we were conscious about what was going on. And KRS-1, Public Enemy, Poor Righteous Teachers, these guys talked about the ills of America. And we talked about the brutality that was happening via police conduits. We talked about Howard, you remember Howard Beach? You remember Abner Louima? You remember all these atrocities and you know, Brock for the longest time, I thought it only happened in New York. And I was wrong, it was happening everywhere. It's happening everywhere. Brock Ganeles (23:46.146) Mark, think that white people don't want black people to have shit because somewhere in there, they, you know, there's a zero sum game theory that if you have more shit, that means they have less and anything that they don't have, they think they don't have it because You got it. You got it instead. You know, and that's why like they, you know, the people are convinced they don't have a job. They don't have a better life. The whole argument that the immigrants are taking your jobs. It was a built on a fa it's a fallacy, right? We're seeing no one's taken those, those jobs. No one's going out and working on the farms. No one's fighting for those fucking, you know, construction jobs, right? All those construction owners who are like, they have no one working anymore. MARK HAYES (24:07.227) A proud person took it. Yeah. MARK HAYES (24:17.897) Right. MARK HAYES (24:36.777) Hmm. Brock Ganeles (24:37.55) It's Zero Sum Game Theory! MARK HAYES (24:39.881) Nobody's getting up on this roof at 85, 90 degrees. Yeah. Yeah. Brock Ganeles (24:47.456) It's zero sum game theory. I think that's it's just been. It's just been built in and taught, right? MARK HAYES (24:55.623) Well, it's baked in to who we are as a nation. Brock Ganeles (24:59.67) It's baked in, you gotta, you still gotta play around it and build wealth and build your own things. So I really love respect and what Roland Martin is doing, right? Really trying to build his own thing, you know, outside of maybe traditional and maybe now because so many You know, so many, so many institutions have broken down. Maybe there's even more opportunity to create and generate wealth and reinvest back in your own community. Like you talk about a lot because you have to change the economics to change the, to change anything. You change the economics and people are going to like, it's going to force white America to adjust. MARK HAYES (25:41.299) Change any. MARK HAYES (25:48.414) Yep. And Brock, getting back to a point that you mentioned, which I've said for years is critical. And I've had this conversation, you know, with some of our cronies from Walter Panis High School up in Westchester County, New York, right outside New York City. I've had this conversation with them and I've told them, I said, you know what, if Mark Hayes gets an opportunity, to engage in a business venture that makes him a millionaire, it doesn't mean that you lost anything. You didn't lose anything because I gained an opportunity and a little bit of wealth. $1 million in the scheme of things in America? I know it's a lot of money, but relatively speaking, when we look at the 83 billionaires, And when we look at the 1 %... We know that a million dollars, there's enough to go around. Brock Ganeles (26:52.514) Mark, let's just talk about this. How does MAGA, our entire lives, always justify their tax cuts for corporations into the wealthy? They always justify it as it's going to be offset by more growth. MARK HAYES (27:01.417) I have no idea. Brock Ganeles (27:09.078) No one's going to lose out. Yeah, the government's going to get less revenues, but it's going to be made up in an accelerated growth rate because with the extra money, those corporations are going to invest more in growth and hire more people and everyone's going to win. And when you cut the tax rates on those wealthiest, well, they're job creators, they're entrepreneurs. They're just going to invest it back and build and more growth and the whole economy is going to grow and everyone's going to do better. And that's what we get sold on the tax cuts. So if that philosophy is anywhere close to true, which I think is bullshit, then why would I worry about you as a black man having a venture that makes you millions of dollars? Why would I not just think that, you're making more money, you're investing it back into the economy, everything's growing more and we're all winning more. Why when it comes to tax cuts, we buy it, but yet when it comes to success of the others, we immediately think it's taking from us. We've just been sold that bill of goods. MARK HAYES (28:09.256) Yeah. Yeah. And again, Brock, this gets back to the media influence. Why? When we have that reckoning on race, the media needs to be included. They need to be pulled in. They need to be chastised. And they need to understand that they are as probably the biggest part of this problem. Because for so long, you know, we have a projected the image of evil as black and brown. Right? We talked about Susan Smith the other day, right? Blame it a black dude, must've been a black dude to run off with two innocent little white babies and take advantage of a white woman. Must've been y'all, especially down here in the South where the Negroes is animals. The media, the media has done a lot of this damage. Brock Ganeles (29:08.078) Yeah, it's going to get worse because now it's even more owned by even more right wing white people. But Mark, this is why I love this is why I love what Michael Jordan's doing in NASCAR. And look, Michael Jordan's been kind of a disappointment as a political leader, right? Because even way back in the day, it was like, well, Republicans buy sneakers also. Right. And he and he and he was greedy. But God damn it, he's successful. Now, he was a shitty NBA owner. What? But a MARK HAYES (29:09.769) Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely. Right. And angry white people. MARK HAYES (29:21.831) Right. Right. MARK HAYES (29:27.976) Really. MARK HAYES (29:35.121) Right? Sucked. Brock Ganeles (29:37.806) Apparently, somehow he seems to be an excellent NASCAR owner. So he's gone into the whitest sport. NASCAR is whiter than the fucking golf. Right? Whiter than hockey, right? He's gone to the whitest of the white sport and somehow being said. Now, I hope he's hiring African Americans. I hope he's building something that is actually diverse. MARK HAYES (29:49.107) Hockey, whiter than hockey. MARK HAYES (30:00.906) Peace out. MARK HAYES (30:04.903) He's not. Brock Ganeles (30:05.208) But that's never like, that's not what he has done. I wish I would hope maybe in this iteration of him at whatever age, he would kind of think like, shit, I can really make an impact bigger than just winning races here. But anyway, it could, you know, I like to see it right. Cause that, that is once again, kind of like black excellence and just figuring it out and barreling into the white world. Now he has the money to do it. Right. They couldn't stop him from buying a team. MARK HAYES (30:10.568) Right. MARK HAYES (30:19.753) Right. MARK HAYES (30:24.541) I do. MARK HAYES (30:35.689) True that. True that. And here's the thing though, Brock. You know, again, everything in the US comes down to the almighty dollar, I mean, there's one Tiger Woods because, you know, there was one black family that said, you know what, fuck it, we're going all in. We're gonna spend all available resources. Right? You a small family, you know, Earl Woods. him, his wife and Tiger. And, you know, he just threw the money at it. Now he was able to teach, right? Whatever he was able to teach Tiger. And then when Tiger got good enough, you know, he was able to afford his own coach. lot of that was natural God given ability, you know? Yeah. I mean, Tiger, people don't realize how big Tiger is. Tiger's like six, three. Tiger's like 210 pounds, 215 pounds, you know, during his prime. Brock Ganeles (31:22.382) Yeah, it's in a neat tone. MARK HAYES (31:35.219) So he's a big kid and that's why he whacks the hell out of the golf ball. But you know, like hockey, bro, you're not gonna see a lot of black families playing hockey. It's just too expensive. Brock Ganeles (31:44.834) Yeah, economics, economics dictate opportunity in this country because we don't go out of our way to equalize opportunities. We get close. We don't because why would white people do that? They want to be advantaged. They don't want to be, you know, equalized, right? They don't want. MARK HAYES (31:50.473) Yes. MARK HAYES (31:56.276) Not even close. We're not even close to it. Brock Ganeles (32:07.318) a fair playing field. They're happy with an advantaged playing field. So, I mean, it's going to be tough to do, but, you know, it's, mean, I would say now you got, unfortunately, black Americans have refight for their civil rights because if you could put those to bed, then like the next 50 years of the fight would be for economic rights and opportunity and changing the economic. disparities that are so the wide gulf in wealth that sits between, you know, white America and black America. Although, although, sadly, an increasing portion of white America is slipping back into a similar economic hardship. MARK HAYES (32:47.786) Alright. MARK HAYES (32:57.478) It's non-dram. Yep. that's when something will be done about it. We're not going to let white America slip into the same kind of struggle that black and brown America have to go through. Brock Ganeles (33:09.964) Well, not with this regime, right? This regime is kind of like a fuck, fuck poor white people mentality, right? They're not doing shit for poor white people. maybe a next iteration, you know, or that that strata of white America becomes really angry and really aggressive and really violent and not violent against the others. They start getting violent against, you know, the powers that be. You know, they stop getting tricked into thinking anyone who doesn't look like them is their enemy, you know, when it's really sort of the their own brethren in the white community that's got their boot on their neck. Right. So they haven't come MARK HAYES (33:41.098) Yep. MARK HAYES (33:47.241) Bye. MARK HAYES (33:53.46) Sure. Right. Brock Ganeles (33:57.394) to that conclusion yet. I wonder if they ever will. But there's definitely a big, big chunk of white America that's definitely fallen behind and struggling. Rural America is getting crushed, right? And, you know, because Trump doesn't give a shit about anyone. So he's really fucking with a big portion of white America. MARK HAYES (34:00.692) Yeah. MARK HAYES (34:07.754) struggle. Yeah. Yeah. No. Nope. MARK HAYES (34:22.876) Yeah. All right, bro. Let's get up out of here. You got a quick hit for me? What do you got? What do you got? What do you got? Brock Ganeles (34:29.026) I mean, Jesus Christ, we gotta fuckin' flip the clocks for an hour tonight. Can you just explain to me why the fuck we're still doing this? It had to do with what farming in the 1840s or something? Why are we changing our clocks? Why can't we just roll with the fact that days get longer and shorter and the earth spins and we go around the sun and there's different... Why are we doing it? They've even studied it. It's bad for our health. MARK HAYES (34:53.854) And it is when it is. MARK HAYES (34:59.242) Right? Right? Brock Ganeles (35:00.662) It's literally bad for our health that we change these clocks. just why do we make why do we make our winters in the Northeast where we have daylight like for like four hours out of the day? Like why did we do that to ourselves? So people come to become depressed in the winter. They don't see sunlight. I'm just I mean, this is not a black and white issue. This just seems to me to be just a like a logic. I can't you know what this is. You know what this MARK HAYES (35:27.37) All right. Brock Ganeles (35:30.69) signifies to me the same old same old that Why do we do it? Well, it's because it's the way it's always been done But you know, there's a much better way to do it. Yeah, you know This is kind of the way we do it here But not how we can save lives and make people healthier and it'd good for people's quality of life. Yeah No, no, we're just gonna roll along with the way we've been doing it for What why why why improve? Why improve? MARK HAYES (35:44.893) Yeah. MARK HAYES (35:55.821) Yeah. Yeah. Brock Ganeles (36:00.59) So that's my pet peeve of the day. MARK HAYES (36:02.322) Yeah, and I was gonna mention too, if you get Mondays off following the time change, you're less likely to get in a car accident. Car accidents on a Monday after the clock chains through the roof, through the roof. People are tired. They don't know what time it is. They left late. Now they're rushing. They're putting their makeup on. Brock Ganeles (36:18.3) Yeah, people retired. MARK HAYES (36:30.09) They're trying to find their watch, can't find their cufflinks, and they're running into people. Brock Ganeles (36:34.476) I'm driving to the city on Monday and I'm taking a two hour drive on Monday. Now you got me scared. MARK HAYES (36:39.342) Take the train, baby. Take the train. Let the conductor wake up and take the train. No doubt. shit. All right, buddy. Let's rack it up and do it again tomorrow. All right, pray for our troops. Yes, sir. Peace. Brock Ganeles (36:45.294) Yeah, he's half asleep, right? take a spade and diamond, we'll go right into the Hudson. Brock Ganeles (36:55.758) All right, Marco, it's a pleasure. Talk to you tomorrow.
