- 0:00Speaker 1: Yeah, it is no Mark Simon show on sevent Geno.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Lor Hey, it's Friday. That's a great news. A lot
- 0:12Speaker 2: coming up today. We'll get to President Trump's trip to China.
- 0:16Speaker 2: He's on his way back. He's on the plane heading back.
- 0:19Speaker 2: It's a long, long trip, like get back late tonight
- 0:22Speaker 2: at the White House. And I think he spends the
- 0:26Speaker 2: I'm looking at the schedule. It looks like he spends
- 0:28Speaker 2: the whole weekend in DC. Mar A Lago is closed.
- 0:31Speaker 2: It closes on Mother's Day for the whole summer, doesn't
- 0:33Speaker 2: reopen n till Halloween. So he's got his own golf club,
- 0:38Speaker 2: big golf club right outside of Washington, out in the
- 0:41Speaker 2: suburbs in Virginia. So he'll probably be there tomorrow playing golf.
- 0:46Speaker 2: Jet lag. Now he doesn't get that even whatever it is,
- 0:48Speaker 2: eighteen hour flight, no jet lag. So the trip very successful,
- 0:54Speaker 2: very successful. Now, President she agreed to a lot of stuff.
- 0:58Speaker 2: He agreed not to sell weapons to Iran. He agreed
- 1:02Speaker 2: to do everything he can to help settle the Iran conflict.
- 1:05Speaker 2: He agreed to this, He agreed to that. So it's
- 1:07Speaker 2: a great negotiation. Now the only catch is you got
- 1:10Speaker 2: to put a big asterisk on that China has never
- 1:14Speaker 2: ever ever lived up to anything they've ever agreed to.
- 1:17Speaker 2: So bear that in mind. But the body language experts
- 1:21Speaker 2: studying when President Trump is with President She's studying it
- 1:25Speaker 2: and saying that there's an affection. There's an an affection
- 1:29Speaker 2: for each other. They like each other. This is unlike
- 1:31Speaker 2: previous presidents. You know, Biden used to make that speech. Oh,
- 1:34Speaker 2: I've spent more time with President she than anybody. She
- 1:38Speaker 2: couldn't stand Biden thought he was an imbecile. Obama he
- 1:42Speaker 2: didn't like, he didn't respect. Remember when Obama landed in
- 1:46Speaker 2: China Air Force one, they wouldn't bring out a stairs
- 1:49Speaker 2: for him. They wouldn't bring out the big stairs. So
- 1:51Speaker 2: and there was no ceremony on the runway, there was nothing.
- 1:54Speaker 2: They sent some junior guy to shake his hand, but
- 1:57Speaker 2: no stairs to come down. He had to use the
- 2:00Speaker 2: back you know that little baby steps in the back
- 2:03Speaker 2: of Air Force want to get out. It was quite embarrassing.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Trump got the royal welcome red carpet, literally a red carpet,
- 2:09Speaker 2: military bands, top top officials vit she never does this himself.
- 2:14Speaker 2: But he sent the Vice President of China to greet
- 2:17Speaker 2: him along with all the major officials, military band, children's choir,
- 2:21Speaker 2: and the whole thing. So it was a great honor.
- 2:24Speaker 2: They're obviously getting along better than any Chinese and American
- 2:29Speaker 2: president ever have. She has agreed that he will visit
- 2:33Speaker 2: President Trump at the White House September twenty fourth for
- 2:38Speaker 2: another visit. At one point President Trump was walking through,
- 2:41Speaker 2: she took him on a tour of certain things. One
- 2:44Speaker 2: was of China's most beautiful gardens, and in the garden
- 2:48Speaker 2: Trump saw the most beautiful roses he's ever seen. And
- 2:52Speaker 2: he said, you know, we have a rose garden in
- 2:54Speaker 2: the White House, but nothing like these roses. And then
- 2:57Speaker 2: he said, could you send me some of these roses?
- 3:00Speaker 2: So she agreed he will send the roses. They'll be
- 3:02Speaker 2: planted in the rose garden here. They had another summit yesterday.
- 3:06Speaker 2: They had tea afternoon tea with the full a full menu.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Now this was to honor Trump. They went all out
- 3:14Speaker 2: on the menu. But I don't think Trump would eat
- 3:17Speaker 2: any of this stuff. I'm looking at the menu. Minced
- 3:19Speaker 2: codfish in seafood soup. That's not something Trump would like.
- 3:26Speaker 2: I mean, the only thing to eat seafood wise is
- 3:30Speaker 2: is the what they call that fish sandwich at McDonald's,
- 3:33Speaker 2: the mcfish filet of fish. That's the only seafoodump eats.
- 3:38Speaker 2: What else? Stir fried lobster tails, pansered beef filet stuffed
- 3:43Speaker 2: with morel mushrooms. This is not a Trump menu. Kung
- 3:46Speaker 2: pow chicken and scallops. See, the problem is when you're
- 3:50Speaker 2: on these big diplomatic emissions, you got to eat everything.
- 3:53Speaker 2: You're going to pretend you're enjoying this. You remember when
- 3:56Speaker 2: George H. W. Bush passed out at the State dinner
- 4:00Speaker 2: because I think it was just eating something he couldn't stand.
- 4:03Speaker 2: But again, here, look at this is not Trump's stuff.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Bamboo shoots, mushrooms and beans. Now steam pork and shrimp dumplings. Now, ah,
- 4:11Speaker 2: here's something you can eat. Chocolate brownies, ice cream. There
- 4:15Speaker 2: you go. Al right, he filled up on that. But
- 4:17Speaker 2: otherwise it went very well. It could not have gone
- 4:19Speaker 2: any better. So what do you do if your the
- 4:23Speaker 2: New York Times. Now, if you're the New York Times,
- 4:25Speaker 2: your job in life is not to report what happened,
- 4:28Speaker 2: not to report the news. Your job is to make
- 4:31Speaker 2: everything Trump does look bad. Everything is wrong, Everything is
- 4:35Speaker 2: a mistake. Everything he touches, he's screwing up. So you
- 4:38Speaker 2: got to do that with everything. Now, this went very well.
- 4:41Speaker 2: It went better than it's ever gone with any other president.
- 4:44Speaker 2: It went so well, what do you do if you're
- 4:46Speaker 2: the New York Times and you saw the pictures with
- 4:48Speaker 2: all the business leaders, all the CEOs and Trump had
- 4:51Speaker 2: all these cabinet he had Bessin and Hegzith and and
- 4:56Speaker 2: Marco Ruby had all these So what do you do
- 4:58Speaker 2: for your nitk Times? Well, there was a big headline
- 5:00Speaker 2: and yesterday in the New York Times where they put
- 5:02Speaker 2: up the pictures, and the New York Times headline was
- 5:07Speaker 2: where are the women the summit? Where are the women?
- 5:10Speaker 2: There weren't enough women there for the New York Times.
- 5:16Speaker 2: The business leaders, Hey, he just took the CEOs of
- 5:19Speaker 2: our biggest, most important companies. They happen to be men.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Don't blame Trump. There was one woman, the CEO of
- 5:25Speaker 2: City Bank, a woman. I think that was it. It's
- 5:32Speaker 2: a silly thing that accused Trump of because nobody, no
- 5:35Speaker 2: president has ever appointed more women to more high positions
- 5:39Speaker 2: in an administration than Trump. He holds the record for them.
- 5:43Speaker 2: And in his own business, the Trump Organization, more women
- 5:46Speaker 2: executives than any other company. So it's a silly accusation
- 5:50Speaker 2: against him. Now he's so happy to be back as
- 5:53Speaker 2: he can have a cheeseburger and French fries every meal.
- 5:56Speaker 2: He's so happy to be back because they're going to
- 5:58Speaker 2: give him a cell phone back in his com You know,
- 6:00Speaker 2: you can't take a cell phone, you can't take your computer,
- 6:03Speaker 2: You can't take any devices into China because their surveillance
- 6:08Speaker 2: is unbelievable. Not only were they suck everything out of
- 6:11Speaker 2: your phone, but they'll embed stuff in your phone that
- 6:14Speaker 2: you can never get out. So everybody, everybody on a plane,
- 6:17Speaker 2: Sean Hannity, everybody told you can't bring any devices. You
- 6:21Speaker 2: have to get a burner phone to use just when
- 6:24Speaker 2: you're there, and then when you leave you throw it away,
- 6:27Speaker 2: burner computer, and you even have to get a burner email.
- 6:30Speaker 2: You can't use your email. So everybody, everybody on the
- 6:34Speaker 2: trip had to set up a burner email just to
- 6:36Speaker 2: use for these couple of days and then throw it out.
- 6:39Speaker 2: So it was killing Trump because you couldn't truth social
- 6:43Speaker 2: he couldn't tweet during the you couldn't do it. Now,
- 6:46Speaker 2: there were a couple of a minor truth socials during
- 6:49Speaker 2: the trip, but those were done from Washington. You know,
- 6:52Speaker 2: they would tell them what they wanted and they would
- 6:54Speaker 2: post it from Washington. But he'll get his phone back.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Expect a truth social barrage today. But it went very,
- 7:03Speaker 2: very very well. Now, the best interview on all of
- 7:07Speaker 2: this would be Sean Hannity last night did a one
- 7:10Speaker 2: hour interview with President Trump, exclusive one hour interview where
- 7:16Speaker 2: he asked him everything about the summit. By the way,
- 7:18Speaker 2: we'll play it today on w o R, you'll hear it.
- 7:21Speaker 2: I'll be filling in for Sean Hannity today because he'll
- 7:23Speaker 2: be on the plane. But I think in the first
- 7:25Speaker 2: hour three to four, we'll play the whole interview, so
- 7:28Speaker 2: you'll get to hear it, which is very important, especially
- 7:31Speaker 2: for me because I got to do his show for
- 7:33Speaker 2: three hours, So they'll play that for the whole first hour,
- 7:36Speaker 2: which means I don't have to talk. I think it
- 7:38Speaker 2: just sit there, so it's perfect. Hopefully he'll do more
- 7:41Speaker 2: interviews on the plane to fill more time. But it
- 7:44Speaker 2: was a great interview. He talked about she you know,
- 7:46Speaker 2: Trump's a very tall guy, but if you look at
- 7:48Speaker 2: the pictures, they're pretty much the same height.
- 7:50Speaker 3: But I say about him that if you went to
- 7:53Speaker 3: Hollywood and you looked for a leader of China to
- 7:57Speaker 3: play a role in a movie, central cast, central casting,
- 8:00Speaker 3: you wouldn't. You couldn't find a guy like him. Even
- 8:04Speaker 3: his physical features here it was tall, very tall, and
- 8:10Speaker 3: especially for this country because they tend to be a
- 8:12Speaker 3: little bit shorter.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Yeah, you see those Chinese leaders, She is no exception.
- 8:16Speaker 2: They all look evil. They all look like James Bond films.
- 8:24Speaker 2: They all look like they're just trying to destroy the
- 8:26Speaker 2: whole world. And I don't know why anybody would want
- 8:30Speaker 2: this job. And you imagine having the first sum it
- 8:32Speaker 2: was like two and a half hours, the next one
- 8:33Speaker 2: was like two You imagine if they talk to she
- 8:36Speaker 2: for two hours? Does that sound like fun? I don't
- 8:38Speaker 2: think so. So the some press were over there. Now
- 8:42Speaker 2: there was a little controversy because the Chinese officials police
- 8:47Speaker 2: kept blocking the press. They wouldn't let him near they
- 8:50Speaker 2: wouldn't let him near Trump. Also, Chinese officials kept them
- 8:55Speaker 2: penned up in certain areas where they weren't allowed any water.
- 8:57Speaker 2: In fact, they confiscated their water bottles and no bathroom. No,
- 9:03Speaker 2: they weren't allowed any and it was like eighty five
- 9:05Speaker 2: out in the sun. That's might use that system here
- 9:10Speaker 2: in this country and push the press around, treat them
- 9:12Speaker 2: like cattle. But when the reporters did get to Trump,
- 9:15Speaker 2: they would ask the dumbest, most annoying, gotcha stupid questions.
- 9:20Speaker 3: I was in an interview with a very bad, stupid reporter.
- 9:23Speaker 3: She works for CBS. You saw the sixty minutes stupid person.
- 9:27Speaker 3: Just an average person. You could take anybody off the
- 9:29Speaker 3: street and it'd be as good as she is, you know,
- 9:32Speaker 3: just very average.
- 9:33Speaker 2: Yeah. So Democrats everywhere, oh excuse me, Democrats everywhere trashing
- 9:39Speaker 2: the trip. That's the new name. Democrats. Don't say democrats,
- 9:42Speaker 2: say democrats. President Trump came up with that earlier, and
- 9:46Speaker 2: he also explained where it came from. He was looking
- 9:49Speaker 2: at Hakeem Jeffries, who's a very low IQ guy, and
- 9:52Speaker 2: that's where he got the name democrats. And he explained
- 9:54Speaker 2: it to Sean.
- 9:55Speaker 3: You know, the Democrats are against farmers?
- 9:59Speaker 4: How could they?
- 9:59Speaker 3: Because add that to the men and women's sports.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Are the Democrats are against farmers?
- 10:05Speaker 3: Can you believe it?
- 10:06Speaker 5: So not?
- 10:07Speaker 1: Anyway, they're defective.
- 10:10Speaker 3: I came up with a new name.
- 10:11Speaker 4: I don't know if I should.
- 10:13Speaker 6: I know which one of those Democrats.
- 10:15Speaker 3: I said, dumb, dumb. I was talking about a guy.
- 10:19Speaker 3: How came Jefferies is a very low IQ individual. When
- 10:22Speaker 3: I talked about him, he's a dumb guy. He's a Democrat,
- 10:25Speaker 3: And I said, oh, what a great name.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Yeah, So just use that from now on, just say
- 10:30Speaker 2: it democrats, democrats, democrats, not democrats democrats. Make sure you
- 10:35Speaker 2: use that all the time. Hey, there's a story. I
- 10:39Speaker 2: think we all need to be concerned about Long Island
- 10:42Speaker 2: the LIE. Picture Exit forty nine, Lie Exit forty nine.
- 10:49Speaker 2: That would be Route one ten. That's the road that
- 10:51Speaker 2: goes to Melville, goes to Huntington. That's like where the
- 10:54Speaker 2: Walt Whitman Mall is. That's where you get right off there.
- 10:57Speaker 2: There's the Melville Marriott, There's Blackstones, a great steakhouse. What's
- 11:01Speaker 2: the one on the other side Halston's Anthony Scotto owns
- 11:05Speaker 2: all these great wrestling But picture this l IE one ten.
- 11:09Speaker 2: That's one of the busiest, busiest, busiest exits on the LIE. Yesterday,
- 11:14Speaker 2: a big sinkhole opens up and a car goes into
- 11:19Speaker 2: this sinkhole.
- 11:20Speaker 7: L I E.
- 11:21Speaker 2: This is not like in some rural area in Florida.
- 11:24Speaker 2: This is not somewhere in Georgia where there's a sinkhole.
- 11:27Speaker 2: This is right on the lie like in the middle lane.
- 11:30Speaker 2: Sinkhole opens up, car goes into it. Now, luckily the
- 11:34Speaker 2: driver wasn't injured. The car was injured, but the driver
- 11:37Speaker 2: wasn't injured. Now, this is scary. What would cause us
- 11:41Speaker 2: sinkhole on the l lie Well, Usually sinkholes the ones
- 11:46Speaker 2: you see, you know, somewhere in Florida, somewhere in Alabama,
- 11:50Speaker 2: somewhere out there. It's groundwater. You know, underground there's water
- 11:55Speaker 2: and at this point where the groundwater erodes the dirt,
- 12:00Speaker 2: the bedrocket wears it away, so it becomes a hole
- 12:03Speaker 2: under the ground and then the ground sinks into it.
- 12:08Speaker 2: The ground water, natural groundwater creates the cavity and then
- 12:12Speaker 2: everything sinks into it. Those are the type of sinkholes.
- 12:16Speaker 2: Apparently experts think this is different here. This is what
- 12:20Speaker 2: you got to worry about, the sinkhole on the lie.
- 12:24Speaker 2: You know, there's a lot of infrastructure under these roads.
- 12:26Speaker 2: They got storm drains, they got utility lines, they got
- 12:30Speaker 2: all sorts of pipes that run under there. They got
- 12:33Speaker 2: water pipes that run under there. So a lot of
- 12:36Speaker 2: experts on this stuff believed what happened was some of
- 12:40Speaker 2: the pipes under there, you know, they can be very
- 12:42Speaker 2: old and state put them in. LIE is a state project,
- 12:45Speaker 2: New York State. This is Kathy Hokals Road. But they
- 12:49Speaker 2: believe some of those pipes under there over the years eroded.
- 12:53Speaker 2: There was erosion rust, especially at the joints, so it
- 12:57Speaker 2: eroded and corroded, and there was joint separation and water
- 13:01Speaker 2: started coming out, pouring out for a long time. And
- 13:05Speaker 2: you get enough water under there, same effect, it erodes,
- 13:08Speaker 2: the bedrocket erodes, the dirt, creates a cavity, and the
- 13:11Speaker 2: road sinks into it. So this is something to worry
- 13:16Speaker 2: about because everywhere every highway all over in New York
- 13:20Speaker 2: they got these same pipes, So this could start to
- 13:22Speaker 2: happen anywhere. I don't mean to scare you, but even
- 13:26Speaker 2: a small it says, even a small pipe joint defect
- 13:29Speaker 2: can cause a lot of erosion underground with the water
- 13:33Speaker 2: spilling out. So hopefully this was a freak thing and
- 13:38Speaker 2: this is one sinkhole, but if you start to see
- 13:41Speaker 2: more of these, that's what it is. The aging infrastructure
- 13:44Speaker 2: under the LIE now if you had to fix this,
- 13:47Speaker 2: how would you do that? We're you going to tear
- 13:49Speaker 2: up every highway everywhere and look at the pipes. This
- 13:52Speaker 2: is a big, big problem, something to worry about. And
- 13:55Speaker 2: you got Kathy Hokel in charge. So that's not that's
- 14:00Speaker 2: not a good formula. And hopefully it'll be Bruce Blakeman
- 14:04Speaker 2: in charge pretty soon. This was one ten that would
- 14:07Speaker 2: be Suffolk County, right, yeah, Suffolk County, so it's not
- 14:10Speaker 2: Blakeman's county. The New York Times is going to be
- 14:14Speaker 2: sued like crazy by Israel. They've always been the most
- 14:18Speaker 2: anti Semitic paper in the world. I mean they even
- 14:21Speaker 2: covered up the Holocaust, a one hundred year tradition of
- 14:24Speaker 2: total anti semitism. But they went over the top and
- 14:28Speaker 2: completely lost their minds this week when they put out
- 14:31Speaker 2: these stories. I mean there was one that Israel was
- 14:36Speaker 2: training dogs to rape women. There was another that female
- 14:41Speaker 2: prisoners were being raped in Israeli prison. None of this
- 14:44Speaker 2: is true, So why would they do it?
- 14:47Speaker 5: Now?
- 14:47Speaker 2: A lot of people think the reason they did it
- 14:49Speaker 2: the report was coming out, the big study Commission that
- 14:52Speaker 2: was looking at what happened October seventh, and it came
- 14:55Speaker 2: out this week showing how horrifying Moss was on that day.
- 15:01Speaker 2: We know that they were killing, mutilating, stabbing, and raping,
- 15:06Speaker 2: but it was beyond that. And then they had like
- 15:07Speaker 2: five hundred witnesses in this report apparently, I mean, you
- 15:13Speaker 2: want to say all this stuff, they were forcing family
- 15:15Speaker 2: members to have sex with each other and then raping
- 15:19Speaker 2: them in front of family members. I mean, it was
- 15:20Speaker 2: just I'm not even telling you most it's just awful.
- 15:23Speaker 2: They came out in this report. So a lot of
- 15:24Speaker 2: people think that's why the New York Times went crazy
- 15:28Speaker 2: with these fake stories. They were trying to counter that report,
- 15:31Speaker 2: knowing it would create tremendous sympathy for Israel, so they
- 15:35Speaker 2: were trying to counter that. But Israel Benjamin Not in
- 15:38Speaker 2: Yahoo announced they will sue the New York Times. They
- 15:42Speaker 2: will sue the New York Times like crazy. Some of
- 15:45Speaker 2: our top top attorneys, Alan Derschwooz and others are going
- 15:49Speaker 2: to jump in on this case. This is going to
- 15:51Speaker 2: be ian. New York Times is the most sued newspaper
- 15:54Speaker 2: ever for all their fake news, but this is going
- 15:56Speaker 2: to be the big one. This is going to be
- 15:58Speaker 2: really damaging. So we'll see what happens. We'll tex some
- 16:01Speaker 2: calls in a minute. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 16:05Speaker 2: seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three two one
- 16:09Speaker 2: zero seven ten.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Now back to Mark Simone on wr.
- 16:16Speaker 2: Hey, let's sex and calls. Eight hundred three two one
- 16:19Speaker 2: zero seven ten is the number. Let's go to Mara
- 16:21Speaker 2: in Nevada.
- 16:22Speaker 8: Mara, how you doing so good?
- 16:24Speaker 9: I'm talking to you child Vincent Mark. Did you ever
- 16:28Speaker 9: read that people like Einstein and George Bernard sure felt
- 16:33Speaker 9: that the Earth was the insane asylum for the universe?
- 16:38Speaker 9: Now there with these UFO and alien sidings. I wonder
- 16:42Speaker 9: if they're panicking out there because they hear the inmates
- 16:47Speaker 9: are running the asylum.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Well it could be. Well you're in Nevada, you get
- 16:50Speaker 2: more UFOs than anybody out there.
- 16:52Speaker 9: Garry, Yeah, all right.
- 16:54Speaker 2: Well thanks for calling. Let's go to Rich Myrtle Beach. Rich,
- 16:58Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 17:00Speaker 8: On a market morning? Detective Bob in San Diego is
- 17:02Speaker 8: a big listener, fan of yours for many, many years.
- 17:05Speaker 8: You know, I don't know what Trump is dilly dallying about.
- 17:07Speaker 8: You know what, you want to just go in wipe
- 17:09Speaker 8: out the country. You know you can't win a world
- 17:11Speaker 8: warning people when you're gonna bomb and stuff like that,
- 17:14Speaker 8: take the oil. And you know, these Moulers and these
- 17:16Speaker 8: people win in the country. They're no different than the Nazis.
- 17:18Speaker 8: They're just destroying their own people. You take them out,
- 17:21Speaker 8: you got to try them for war crimes and you
- 17:24Speaker 8: just you just go in and just destroy the whole place, people.
- 17:27Speaker 2: In the country, massive destruction. You're talking about ground war.
- 17:30Speaker 2: I don't think anybody wants.
- 17:32Speaker 8: Yeah, step, I'm not talking troops on the Ground'm talking
- 17:34Speaker 8: you know, you gotta just you just gotta let them
- 17:36Speaker 8: have it once in four quick, dilly dally, and then
- 17:39Speaker 8: try them for war crimes.
- 17:40Speaker 2: Here's what will happen. She has agreed to help. He
- 17:42Speaker 2: won't help it because they never live up any agreement.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Then we'll help. We'll do another round of bomb bombing,
- 17:47Speaker 2: and then you gotta go. You gotta go step by
- 17:49Speaker 2: step on this. Hey, uh, you know these radical Iranian
- 17:53Speaker 2: radical islam I had told it. You know, they actually
- 17:57Speaker 2: are a spinoff of the Nazi parties. A wonderful new
- 17:59Speaker 2: book out that actually shows how they were trained by
- 18:04Speaker 2: Hitler's Nazis. They were a few generations ago and apparently
- 18:08Speaker 2: the Hitler. Nazi group had all this laid out, even
- 18:13Speaker 2: had diagrams of planes hitting buildings, all this stuff. I
- 18:16Speaker 2: forget the name of the book, but I'll I'll get
- 18:18Speaker 2: the name and I'll tell you what it was. It
- 18:20Speaker 2: just came out. Let's go to Dave in Chicago. Dave,
- 18:23Speaker 2: how you.
- 18:23Speaker 8: Doing, good morning? Mark. I'm doing very well, Thank you.
- 18:27Speaker 10: Mark.
- 18:27Speaker 11: When President Trump visits foreign countries such as China, I know,
- 18:31Speaker 11: the Secret Service goes there ahead of time to secure everything,
- 18:35Speaker 11: but there are there ever clashes between the Secret Service
- 18:38Speaker 11: and the China's secret detail.
- 18:41Speaker 2: It happened yesterday, It's been happening the last two days.
- 18:44Speaker 2: They were actually fights between the Secret Service Chinese Secret
- 18:47Speaker 2: Service trying to block them from going places. Yeah, a
- 18:50Speaker 2: couple of times they got into actual physical fights with
- 18:53Speaker 2: the with the Chinese officials. It does happen, but that's China.
- 18:57Speaker 2: They're a little crazy over there. Let's go to Mike
- 18:59Speaker 2: in Florida. Mike, how you doing, good morning?
- 19:02Speaker 8: Mark?
- 19:03Speaker 12: Yes, Mike, I hope they checked those roses from China.
- 19:06Speaker 2: For bugs of both kinds. Yes, yes.
- 19:11Speaker 12: And the other thing, you know, I don't understand what
- 19:13Speaker 12: the Times is beefing about. Our friend Monica Crowley was
- 19:16Speaker 12: in the middle of everything over there quite visibly. She
- 19:19Speaker 12: was introducing everybody to every she was. She was completely involved.
- 19:23Speaker 12: I mean, so, I don't know what The Times is
- 19:25Speaker 12: crying about.
- 19:25Speaker 2: No women. Well, it's the Times. They got to it's
- 19:29Speaker 2: fake news. They make up whatever they can make up. Yeah.
- 19:31Speaker 2: Trump had a plane half women of Susie, Monica Crowley. Uh,
- 19:37Speaker 2: you know all his assistants, Chamberlain, Natalie Harp, all them
- 19:42Speaker 2: therefore of them? Uh yeah, what's her name, Natalie? They're
- 19:48Speaker 2: all women. They're all women. So again fake news New
- 19:52Speaker 2: York Times. You can always count on them for not
- 19:55Speaker 2: really knowing what's actually going on. Let's go to Shelley
- 19:58Speaker 2: in Long Island. Shelley, how you doing, hey.
- 20:01Speaker 13: Mark Morning?
- 20:02Speaker 12: Loved the show.
- 20:03Speaker 13: Mark. Don't you think Bruce Blakeman should hire Spencer Pratt's team.
- 20:09Speaker 13: He's amazing. His campaign is everywhere, and I feel we
- 20:14Speaker 13: really need Bruce to win, but he's flat.
- 20:17Speaker 14: No.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Do you follow him on Instagram?
- 20:20Speaker 13: I do.
- 20:21Speaker 2: That's pretty good Instagram. His social media is pretty His
- 20:23Speaker 2: social media is pretty good.
- 20:25Speaker 13: Yeah, but Spencer's is out of the park.
- 20:29Speaker 2: That's Spencer's business that we're we'll talk about this in
- 20:32Speaker 2: the in the next hour, because it's pretty interesting that
- 20:33Speaker 2: Spencer Pratt came out of nowhere reality TV guy to
- 20:37Speaker 2: totally dominate the mayoral race. He's causing panic among Democrats.
- 20:41Speaker 2: This guy could win the mayoral race. But yeah, he's
- 20:44Speaker 2: great with social media. Everybody's saying that every candidate hire
- 20:47Speaker 2: his social media guy.
- 20:48Speaker 13: But all right, well you speak to him, so maybe
- 20:51Speaker 13: you could light the fire for him a little bit.
- 20:53Speaker 2: I think you're underestimating how good Bruce Blakeman's social media is.
- 20:57Speaker 2: It's very good.
- 20:59Speaker 13: All right. I hope you're right, because we need him
- 21:02Speaker 13: very desperately to win New York or we're done.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Yeah. No, definitely. Where do you live in Long Island?
- 21:08Speaker 13: Ah, the Siocid area.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Oh, you're not far from that sink hole. I know
- 21:14Speaker 2: a few exits from that sink hole. You probably drive
- 21:18Speaker 2: on the l Ie. You'll probably get off at exit
- 21:20Speaker 2: forty nine. Right.
- 21:23Speaker 13: I don't go down there a lot, but a lot
- 21:25Speaker 13: of my friends do. I got to talk to them
- 21:27Speaker 13: about it.
- 21:27Speaker 2: Yeah, watch out for that sinkhole. Thanks for calling, and
- 21:30Speaker 2: ASCO one morning, let's go to Joe Elmwood Park. Joe,
- 21:33Speaker 2: how you doing Good Morning, Mark.
- 21:34Speaker 8: Good Morning Visits speaking about women.
- 21:37Speaker 2: What happened with the I only heard her once.
- 21:39Speaker 6: On Greg Kelly with Tulsi Gabbard.
- 21:41Speaker 2: With the files, which files?
- 21:43Speaker 8: The CIA raised her office.
- 21:46Speaker 2: Oh, I don't know Tulsea Gabbard files. I don't know
- 21:50Speaker 2: who knows what they were looking for here.
- 21:51Speaker 15: I mean, Ventent's always right on with the cattle and
- 21:55Speaker 15: with the corruption.
- 21:57Speaker 6: We need to Nick sure we're over here too.
- 22:00Speaker 2: Nick Shirley's a little busy. He's doing California. Then he's
- 22:03Speaker 2: got Ohio to do. But also he got the JD
- 22:05Speaker 2: vance now uncovering fraud. But again you've got to go
- 22:08Speaker 2: state by state. It's a long, slow process. But he's
- 22:11Speaker 2: already uncovered a lot of stuff. Total waste, fraud, bloat,
- 22:15Speaker 2: that's government. Hey, when we come back to brilliant columnist Lizpeak,
- 22:20Speaker 2: we'll be with us. Scott Shannon will be with us
- 22:22Speaker 2: about an hour from now the.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Mark Simone Show on War.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Well with us now the brilliant columnist Lizpeak. You can
- 22:34Speaker 2: read her columns at Foxnews dot com, but also go
- 22:38Speaker 2: to our own website where you can get all the
- 22:39Speaker 2: news and updates and analysis. Go to lizpeak dot com.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Lizpeak dot com, Lizpeak, how you doing.
- 22:48Speaker 4: I'm terrific. Thanks for having me on.
- 22:49Speaker 8: Mark.
- 22:50Speaker 2: Hey, a China trip couldn't have gone any better. Don't
- 22:53Speaker 2: you agree?
- 22:54Speaker 16: Well, I think the market certainly doesn't agree. I think
- 22:59Speaker 16: a couple of things. One, I think that there was
- 23:02Speaker 16: a lot of optimism that Trump would would get G
- 23:07Speaker 16: President G to agree to some breakthrough in Iran in
- 23:14Speaker 16: opening up the straight of hor moves. Supposedly G bought
- 23:17Speaker 16: into the idea that that was a good idea and evidence,
- 23:23Speaker 16: you know, no resistance to it.
- 23:24Speaker 4: But I didn't see anything really come.
- 23:26Speaker 16: Out that in the way of a concrete move on
- 23:28Speaker 16: his part, like picking up the phone and telling the
- 23:31Speaker 16: IRGC to open up the straight. I think in terms
- 23:36Speaker 16: of commerce, yeah, it was a good move. I think,
- 23:39Speaker 16: you know, I think the biggest thing was that G
- 23:45Speaker 16: had to look tough to his people, after all the
- 23:48Speaker 16: United States. I mean, imagine this drama of President Trump
- 23:53Speaker 16: arriving with a faylanx of world leaders in global finance
- 24:00Speaker 16: and production, manufacturing technology, et cetera.
- 24:03Speaker 4: I mean, what a powerful symbol that was of.
- 24:08Speaker 16: American dominance, right, I mean, and think about China's situation
- 24:13Speaker 16: right now. They are losing in terms of their economy.
- 24:16Speaker 16: Their economy has enormous ongoing impediments like a demographic cliff.
- 24:21Speaker 16: They're actually shrinking in terms of people in the workforce.
- 24:26Speaker 16: They have enormous amounts of debt, and they can't get
- 24:29Speaker 16: consumers to spend. So they're actually gone back to their
- 24:32Speaker 16: export driven model, meaning they are actually are dependent on
- 24:36Speaker 16: the United States because this is where the action is.
- 24:39Speaker 16: They're losing in artificial intelligence leadership, God knows, they're losing
- 24:43Speaker 16: in energy leadership. So I think the whole bravado about
- 24:50Speaker 16: Taiwan and how America should be careful about Taiwan, I
- 24:54Speaker 16: thought it was complete stagecraft. I think it was totally
- 24:58Speaker 16: to convince the people of the g belongs on that
- 25:02Speaker 16: world stage with Donald Trump, and frankly, right now.
- 25:05Speaker 4: I think there's an argument that he does not.
- 25:07Speaker 2: Wow, Yeah, you're right. You know, Trump showed up with
- 25:10Speaker 2: the greatest business leaders in the world. It was an
- 25:13Speaker 2: impressive Joe Biden showed up with Hunter the crack addict Son.
- 25:18Speaker 4: That's a good point.
- 25:21Speaker 16: I mean, it's an amazing contrast though, right and apparently
- 25:24Speaker 16: I have to dig into this a little bit more.
- 25:26Speaker 16: But I read a couple of accounts this morning that
- 25:29Speaker 16: the Chinese were not expecting those American business leaders to
- 25:33Speaker 16: be part of the delegation, that they would be part
- 25:35Speaker 16: of the conversations. They were, And again I think it
- 25:39Speaker 16: was Trump. It wasn't quite bombing Syria over chocolate cake,
- 25:43Speaker 16: but it was kind of like in your face sheet,
- 25:46Speaker 16: this is who we are, who do you got and
- 25:49Speaker 16: does he have some business leaders? Yeah, but they're terrified
- 25:53Speaker 16: because in the past sometimes you end up being disappeared
- 25:56Speaker 16: or going to jail in China.
- 25:58Speaker 4: True true story.
- 26:01Speaker 16: So I thought it was I think in people in
- 26:05Speaker 16: a way that people don't really understand. I thought it
- 26:07Speaker 16: was absolutely a brilliant trip for reasons other than maybe
- 26:12Speaker 16: what was obvious.
- 26:13Speaker 2: Yeah, now a present. She agreed to help in Iran,
- 26:16Speaker 2: and he agreed to this, he agreed to. But the
- 26:18Speaker 2: thing is, China has never ever lived up to any
- 26:21Speaker 2: agreement they've ever mete So what do we make of that?
- 26:24Speaker 16: Yeah, I mean, you know, they're going to buy some soybeans,
- 26:27Speaker 16: presumably they need soy beans. They're going to buy some
- 26:30Speaker 16: planes because they want some planes. I think all that
- 26:33Speaker 16: was sort of foretold.
- 26:34Speaker 4: But again, remember that.
- 26:37Speaker 16: For she and one of his comments talked about how
- 26:41Speaker 16: many five year plans they've had.
- 26:43Speaker 4: Well, for at least four or five of.
- 26:45Speaker 16: Those five year plans, they've talked about the necessity of
- 26:48Speaker 16: getting away from being an export driven economy, get away
- 26:51Speaker 16: from infrastructure spending, relying on Chinese consumers to take up
- 26:56Speaker 16: the ball and run with it, and they haven't. I mean,
- 26:59Speaker 16: consumer we're spending in China is still I'm guessing here,
- 27:02Speaker 16: but around forty percent of the economy versus seventy percent
- 27:05Speaker 16: in the US. That's an unsustainable number unless the whole
- 27:09Speaker 16: rest of the world basically takes the lead in building
- 27:13Speaker 16: your economy, which which they have, which the world has
- 27:16Speaker 16: for thirty years. But I think that's changed, and I
- 27:21Speaker 16: think that you know China Ge remember about five years ago,
- 27:26Speaker 16: took on to himself the management of the economy in China.
- 27:30Speaker 16: Remember he's he took sole responsibility for it. So he's
- 27:35Speaker 16: in a weird position where, uh, he's responsible, he doesn't
- 27:39Speaker 16: really know what to do. They've they've gone back to
- 27:43Speaker 16: export driven and building spending a lot of money that
- 27:46Speaker 16: they don't have on infrastructure. So it is not a
- 27:49Speaker 16: good picture for him. He needs the United States, he
- 27:52Speaker 16: needs exports, and.
- 27:54Speaker 4: So yeah, they're going to buy some stuff.
- 27:57Speaker 16: My guess is he's going to push really hard for
- 28:01Speaker 16: expanded exports into the United States as well.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Yeah, uh, Liz peak, Let's uh, let's get to Iran. Obviously,
- 28:08Speaker 2: it's a hell of a gamble. But if this is successfully,
- 28:11Speaker 2: you get rid of the worst terrorist terrorist regime in
- 28:13Speaker 2: the world, and you get side benefits like maybe opeck
- 28:16Speaker 2: will break up. What do you think will happen?
- 28:20Speaker 4: Well, I can't.
- 28:21Speaker 16: I mean, I you know, I said this on air
- 28:23Speaker 16: the other day and got kind of slapped for it.
- 28:25Speaker 16: But I think there's gonna have to be another military
- 28:27Speaker 16: round here.
- 28:29Speaker 7: Uh.
- 28:30Speaker 4: I don't think Trump can.
- 28:31Speaker 16: Walk away with anything but clear victory on the no
- 28:36Speaker 16: nukes ever message. He has made that the cornerstone of
- 28:41Speaker 16: our military offense in Iran. I think he's totally right
- 28:45Speaker 16: to do it, but he can't leave it halfway.
- 28:48Speaker 4: And I think right now it's all bluster.
- 28:51Speaker 16: The economy there is collapsing, I mean literally collapsing. The
- 28:56Speaker 16: local currency has zero value if you but in the
- 29:00Speaker 16: local currency as an exchange rate comes up zero basically
- 29:03Speaker 16: versus the dollar. And so their bluster is bluster, and
- 29:08Speaker 16: they do have some missiles left, Yeah, they do. But
- 29:11Speaker 16: we have to finish this off, and I think regime
- 29:14Speaker 16: change is necessary, and I think absolutely eliminating any potential
- 29:19Speaker 16: of a nuclear threat down the road is also incredibly essential.
- 29:23Speaker 16: So I think there will be some other round of hostilities.
- 29:26Speaker 2: Yeah, well that may not be a bad thing. You're right,
- 29:31Speaker 2: You've got to finish the job. And then what happens
- 29:33Speaker 2: to oil and what happens to inflation.
- 29:35Speaker 16: Well, if they open up, if the Straight of Hormoz
- 29:38Speaker 16: opens up overnight, the price of oil will come down
- 29:42Speaker 16: twenty percent and it'll continue to drift down as oil
- 29:45Speaker 16: begins to flow through the strait. There has been some
- 29:49Speaker 16: damage done to oil infrastructure in the Middle least it'll
- 29:51Speaker 16: be repaired. In a year, we'll be back to where
- 29:55Speaker 16: we are and oil prices will be down to sixty
- 29:57Speaker 16: dollars again.
- 29:58Speaker 4: If not lower.
- 29:59Speaker 16: Because I think people are really underestimating what's going on
- 30:03Speaker 16: in Venezuela, what's going on in Alaska. You know, Alaska
- 30:07Speaker 16: production in the next couple of years is going to
- 30:09Speaker 16: be up half a million barrels a day, and that's
- 30:12Speaker 16: just incredibly powerful.
- 30:14Speaker 4: And Venezuela It'll take a.
- 30:16Speaker 16: Little while because Venezuela new fields are offshore, but eventually
- 30:20Speaker 16: we're going to see a pretty big bounce there too.
- 30:22Speaker 16: So again, Western Hemisphere energy, the United States energy is
- 30:28Speaker 16: in great shape.
- 30:29Speaker 4: The rest of the world not so much. So too bad.
- 30:33Speaker 16: You know, they place their bets in the wrong place,
- 30:35Speaker 16: and China really did. China really isn't a pickle in
- 30:39Speaker 16: terms of oil supplies. They may have a big strategic
- 30:41Speaker 16: petroleum reserve, but they don't have new vendors looking their way.
- 30:45Speaker 16: So anyway, I think inflation and all that will be
- 30:49Speaker 16: mended is just going to take a while.
- 30:50Speaker 2: Wow, Hey, Liz Pick, Kevin Warsh takes over a new
- 30:54Speaker 2: FED chairman. He's been confirmed. Will Jerome Powell leave or
- 30:58Speaker 2: do we have to go to land or tenant court
- 31:00Speaker 2: to get him out of the building something like that.
- 31:03Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 31:04Speaker 16: I think it's you know, look, I think his nose
- 31:06Speaker 16: is out of joint. He's really furious that Trump for
- 31:09Speaker 16: charging him with you know, potentially criminal activity and the
- 31:13Speaker 16: overruns on the cost of the FED building. I think
- 31:17Speaker 16: that was a stupid mistake on Trump's part. I'd like
- 31:21Speaker 16: to now Jay pal saying he's going to stay.
- 31:23Speaker 4: That's just silly.
- 31:24Speaker 16: You can have two kind of quasi fed chairs, and
- 31:28Speaker 16: I think, frankly, it'll be humiliating for him. So if
- 31:30Speaker 16: I were he in the next over the summer, I
- 31:33Speaker 16: get off the board. And my guess is that's what
- 31:35Speaker 16: he'll do, all right, let's hope.
- 31:37Speaker 2: So also, yeah, well we get rid of Kathy Huckel.
- 31:41Speaker 2: We want Bruce Blakeman to win, start to get the
- 31:44Speaker 2: normal same management back into New York. You think it
- 31:47Speaker 2: could happen, Mark.
- 31:49Speaker 16: You need a revolution in the Republican Party in New York,
- 31:54Speaker 16: and I wish your luck on getting that. Until the
- 31:56Speaker 16: leadership has changed. We need energy, we need money. We
- 32:00Speaker 16: need some of the billionaires who've moved to Palm Beach
- 32:02Speaker 16: to be shaken down for money for New York. You
- 32:06Speaker 16: can't win a solid Democrat victory. I mean, you can't
- 32:11Speaker 16: overthrow this legislature. It's got to be from the ground up.
- 32:15Speaker 16: It's a huge undertaking. I wish Bruce Blateman all the
- 32:19Speaker 16: luck in the world. I hope he wins. I don't
- 32:22Speaker 16: think it's going to happen unless we really really see
- 32:24Speaker 16: a push by the Republican leadership.
- 32:27Speaker 4: And I just don't see that happening.
- 32:28Speaker 2: That's a good point. We don't really have a Republican
- 32:30Speaker 2: party in New York.
- 32:31Speaker 4: What we have, No, we do not, No, we don't.
- 32:33Speaker 2: These old ladies who hold these book signings in these
- 32:36Speaker 2: Republican clubs and take selfies with the author. That's about
- 32:40Speaker 2: all they do that. You need. A party runs the
- 32:43Speaker 2: ground game, runs all the door knocking and all that
- 32:46Speaker 2: stuff that you need.
- 32:47Speaker 4: That's right.
- 32:47Speaker 16: Yeah, And frankly, the National Party doesn't care because they've
- 32:51Speaker 16: just written off New York and it's a tragedy.
- 32:54Speaker 4: I mean, we have some good Republicans. I think Claudia Tenny.
- 32:57Speaker 16: And Mike Lawler and Nicole Maley Attackas they're all terrific,
- 33:02Speaker 16: and you know, but if you talk to them, they despair.
- 33:05Speaker 16: They just don't get any help from the National Party
- 33:07Speaker 16: at all.
- 33:07Speaker 2: No, that's terrible. Well, really it is always Liz Peak
- 33:11Speaker 2: and everybody read her columns. You go to foxnews dot com.
- 33:13Speaker 2: Where else can they read them? Of the Hill?
- 33:16Speaker 16: At the Hill today, I have a piece out on
- 33:18Speaker 16: the Hill about Mum Donnie's budget nonsense. Yeah, and the
- 33:21Speaker 16: fact Mark you ought to take a look because I mean, honestly,
- 33:24Speaker 16: Bernie Sanders is all over Twitter going, oh my gosh,
- 33:27Speaker 16: this is amazing.
- 33:28Speaker 4: He drove the deficit to zero. Blah blah blah.
- 33:32Speaker 16: By the way, it's the law that you have to
- 33:34Speaker 16: make the budget balance. All of his fixes and little
- 33:37Speaker 16: sort of puppet playing, it's not going to do the
- 33:40Speaker 16: trick and.
- 33:41Speaker 4: People need to know it.
- 33:42Speaker 16: I think the left is terrified that mum Donnie's failing,
- 33:45Speaker 16: so they're stepping up here big time in social media
- 33:48Speaker 16: to back him up, and it's just really pathetic.
- 33:51Speaker 2: Well, read Lizpeak's column at The Hill reader at Foxnews
- 33:54Speaker 2: dot com, but make sure you go to her website
- 33:56Speaker 2: and sign up for the daily news analysis. Go to
- 33:58Speaker 2: lizpeak dot com liizpeak dot com. Lizpeak, thanks for being
- 34:03Speaker 2: with us.
- 34:04Speaker 4: Hey, thanks so much for having me. Mark. Have a
- 34:06Speaker 4: great weekend.
- 34:06Speaker 2: All right, take care, Hey, you don't forget At Noon
- 34:09Speaker 2: Buck Sexton and Clay Travis. I love that show every
- 34:11Speaker 2: day noon to three. Then at three o'clock, the most
- 34:14Speaker 2: listened to radio show in America, Sean Hannity. I'll be
- 34:17Speaker 2: filling in for Sean today and we'll replay the whole
- 34:20Speaker 2: interview with Donald Trump talking about what happened at the summit,
- 34:24Speaker 2: so that's coming up and don't forget it. Nine the
- 34:27Speaker 2: Great Jimmy Fayala Queer.
- 34:29Speaker 15: You York comes for common sense, Mark Simone on sevent
- 34:33Speaker 15: ten w R.
- 34:38Speaker 2: Hey, uh, there's some good news. It looks like on
- 34:42Speaker 2: the border zero crossings. There are many, many weeks of
- 34:47Speaker 2: zero crossings. Nobody coming in illegally. Obviously they're watching what's
- 34:51Speaker 2: going on with Trump with Ice and they're not coming
- 34:54Speaker 2: illegal crossings. Since Trump took officer down by ninety five percent,
- 35:01Speaker 2: self deportation has hit over a million. And as we
- 35:05Speaker 2: reported yesterday, there are eighty thousand illegals that literally just
- 35:10Speaker 2: came to an ICE facility and turned themselves in. The
- 35:14Speaker 2: reason they did that they didn't want to be picked
- 35:15Speaker 2: up and then put in a detention center. Any that
- 35:17Speaker 2: they asked to be deported, eighty thousand showed up saying,
- 35:21Speaker 2: please deport us immediately and get us out of here.
- 35:25Speaker 2: You know, there's a House Judiciary subcommittee that's investigating a DA.
- 35:32Speaker 2: This crazy DA who lets illegal illegal criminals, you know,
- 35:39Speaker 2: illegal aliens who are criminals, just lets them loose or
- 35:41Speaker 2: gives them light sentences apparently was funded by George Soros
- 35:45Speaker 2: Soros put almost a million bucks into this campaign to
- 35:49Speaker 2: get this guy elected, and he's just letting criminals loose.
- 35:51Speaker 2: He's letting illegal aliens who are criminals loose. So DOJ
- 35:56Speaker 2: is investigating him. It's interesting to note ABC, CBS, NBC
- 36:02Speaker 2: zero coverage of this. They will not cover this. This
- 36:06Speaker 2: Soros funded da Hey, when we come back, a lot
- 36:09Speaker 2: to get to in the next hour. We'll get to
- 36:11Speaker 2: the Spencer Pratt phenomenon in La Scott Shannon will be
- 36:14Speaker 2: with us, and a whole lot more. Just ahead. Mark
- 36:18Speaker 2: Simone here on seven to ten wor.
- 36:22Speaker 1: Insight from the inside. This is seven ten wrs Mark
- 36:28Speaker 1: Simon show.
- 36:30Speaker 2: Wow, Hey, big news. The pom Beach Airport, as you
- 36:35Speaker 2: just heard, official, now absolutely official, pom Beach International Airport
- 36:40Speaker 2: will become Donald J. Trump International Airport. This is a
- 36:44Speaker 2: great thing because every Democrat Liberal that has to fly
- 36:50Speaker 2: into that airport, it will drive them insane. Their ticket
- 36:53Speaker 2: will say Donald J. Trump Airport, they land everything will
- 36:57Speaker 2: say Donald J. Trump. Well, this will drive them nuts.
- 37:01Speaker 2: And do you remember it was it six months ago
- 37:04Speaker 2: early maybe it was last year when they were talking
- 37:07Speaker 2: about doing this. A caller to this show said they
- 37:10Speaker 2: ought to make the code DJT, you know, because a
- 37:13Speaker 2: lot of times these codes for the airport don't seem
- 37:15Speaker 2: to match the name of the airport. But I did
- 37:18Speaker 2: pass that along to the White House. To everybody in
- 37:21Speaker 2: the White House, call it DJT. They all loved it.
- 37:24Speaker 2: So whoever that caller was, you may be responsible for this.
- 37:28Speaker 2: Now they might have thought of it on their own too,
- 37:30Speaker 2: But it's going to drive liberals crazy. Let's see how
- 37:35Speaker 2: many of them live in Palm Beach but will deliberately
- 37:39Speaker 2: only go to the Fort Lauderdale Airport so they don't
- 37:41Speaker 2: have to go to Donald J. Trump International Airport, because
- 37:44Speaker 2: when you leave the airport, one of the main roads
- 37:47Speaker 2: from the mainland over to Palm Beach is going to
- 37:50Speaker 2: be Donald J. Trump Boulevard. It will just absolutely torture them.
- 37:54Speaker 2: I think they are about thirty airports in the country
- 37:57Speaker 2: named after presidents, so this is totally appropriate. Now President
- 38:03Speaker 2: Trump is on his way back to the White House.
- 38:05Speaker 2: He'll get there later today. It's a grueling, long, long trip,
- 38:11Speaker 2: but he's got a plane full of the top leaders
- 38:13Speaker 2: in the world. As we're talking about the last hour,
- 38:16Speaker 2: how impressive was this even to sheet Trump shows up
- 38:21Speaker 2: with an entourage of twenty of the most powerful global
- 38:25Speaker 2: business leaders in the world, Elon Musk and Tim Cook
- 38:29Speaker 2: and the chairman of Navidia and Goldman says, the top
- 38:33Speaker 2: business leaders on it. This is who he shows up with.
- 38:37Speaker 2: Biden shows up with his crack addict son Hunter. Trump
- 38:42Speaker 2: brings the greatest business leaders here. Why don't you do
- 38:44Speaker 2: some business with Apple? Why don't you do business with Navidia?
- 38:47Speaker 2: Why don't you talk to City Bank? Biden shows up
- 38:51Speaker 2: with the crack addict son. My kid is starting his
- 38:54Speaker 2: own hedge fund. He's never done this before, but he'd
- 38:56Speaker 2: like you to put a couple billion into What a difference.
- 39:00Speaker 2: So hey, Sean Hannity did the exclusive interview with President
- 39:05Speaker 2: Trump after the summer. It's a big one hour interview.
- 39:08Speaker 2: They aired it last night on Hannity, but I'll be
- 39:11Speaker 2: filling in for Sean Hannity today later today three to seven, No,
- 39:16Speaker 2: three to six, three to six, and we'll replay the
- 39:21Speaker 2: whole interviews. So if you didn't get to hear, you
- 39:22Speaker 2: get to hear today. I think we'll do it in
- 39:23Speaker 2: the first hour three to four, So take a listen
- 39:27Speaker 2: to it. It'll be right here on WR. So Kamala
- 39:33Speaker 2: Harris is scaring everybody, Democrats and Republicans. She's scaring the
- 39:38Speaker 2: Democrats because she's looking like she wants to run in
- 39:41Speaker 2: twenty twenty eight again. She was a total disaster, the
- 39:44Speaker 2: worst candidate ever, just a goofball, but she wants to
- 39:49Speaker 2: run again. She's scaring the Republicans. I mean, they would
- 39:52Speaker 2: love to run against her. But she's now put back
- 39:54Speaker 2: on the table every crazy, radical, nut job democratic idea,
- 40:00Speaker 2: like redoing the Supreme Court. Instead of nine, you have
- 40:03Speaker 2: twenty five justices, getting rid of the electoral college, making
- 40:08Speaker 2: Puerto Rico and DC states. Listen to her talking about all.
- 40:11Speaker 17: This and in that no Bad Ideas brainstorm, we talk
- 40:16Speaker 17: about what we need to do and think about doing
- 40:18Speaker 17: around the electoral College. We talk about the idea of
- 40:22Speaker 17: Supreme Court reform, which includes expanding the Supreme Court.
- 40:27Speaker 4: We invite a conversation about.
- 40:29Speaker 17: Multi members districts. Let's talk about state lood for Puerto
- 40:33Speaker 17: Rico and DC. We've got to neutralize these red states
- 40:37Speaker 17: from cheating, including blue states expanding their maps.
- 40:43Speaker 2: No, if you're worried about cheating voter ID, there's your solution.
- 40:46Speaker 2: Now what she's talking about and Democrats. The dream about
- 40:49Speaker 2: is tearing down the democracy, changing the constitution. Just I mean,
- 40:54Speaker 2: it's all ridiculous. Getting rid of the electoral college, you're
- 40:56Speaker 2: talking about taking a part of our democracy, changing our constitution.
- 41:02Speaker 2: Packing the Supreme Court, you're talking about tearing down our democracy,
- 41:06Speaker 2: changing the constitution. You see. The problem is there's nine
- 41:10Speaker 2: justices and the Republicans have nominated a bunch of them.
- 41:14Speaker 2: So Democrats don't want to wait for these guys to
- 41:16Speaker 2: die and pray that when they do that there's a
- 41:18Speaker 2: Democrat in office, so they can pack the court. So
- 41:21Speaker 2: the next democratic president can pick twenty people to add
- 41:26Speaker 2: twenty left wing cooks. Statehood for Puerto Rico and DC.
- 41:30Speaker 2: That's the other big dream, because then they would each
- 41:33Speaker 2: have two senators, and they're democratic areas, so that would
- 41:36Speaker 2: be four more Democratic senators and congressmen. The only thing
- 41:40Speaker 2: you know right now, the governor of Puerto Rico is
- 41:44Speaker 2: a big Trump supporter, So that's a little sticky wicket there.
- 41:47Speaker 2: But it looks like Harris wants to run again. A
- 41:51Speaker 2: lot of people thought she should have just run for
- 41:52Speaker 2: governor in California. Steve Hilton looks pretty good there. He's
- 41:58Speaker 2: a Republican and that's not easy in California. But he's
- 42:01Speaker 2: doing very well. He'll be on with me later today,
- 42:05Speaker 2: I will I'll interview him later here on WOR on
- 42:08Speaker 2: the Hannity Show. Now, the La mayoral race. This guy
- 42:13Speaker 2: comes out of nowhere, Spencer Pratt, reality star Spencer Pratt.
- 42:19Speaker 2: He's from the reality show The Hills. He announces his
- 42:23Speaker 2: bid for mayor. Guy can out talk anybody in the race.
- 42:27Speaker 2: He's totally dominating the debates. He's a celebrity, no political
- 42:32Speaker 2: or corporate experience of any kind, and he's been amazing
- 42:38Speaker 2: with his social media's TikTok, Instagram. You know. His house
- 42:42Speaker 2: was destroyed in the fire. It's completely gone, just gone.
- 42:46Speaker 2: So he's running on that because it affects a lot
- 42:48Speaker 2: of people in LA that lost their homes, lost everything
- 42:51Speaker 2: in these fires. So it's a big issue. So he's
- 42:53Speaker 2: got one video that's amazing where he shows here's where
- 42:56Speaker 2: I'm living now, and it shows his property. The house
- 42:59Speaker 2: is all gone, but he's got a trailer on the
- 43:02Speaker 2: properties living in. It's pretty dramatic. However, TMC investigates finds
- 43:08Speaker 2: out he's not actually living in a trailer. He's staying
- 43:10Speaker 2: in the bel Air Hotel, which is one of the
- 43:12Speaker 2: most luxurious hotels in the world. All right, a little catch,
- 43:16Speaker 2: but he's still the point that's there, and he's doing
- 43:20Speaker 2: so well that the New York Times is going crazy,
- 43:26Speaker 2: very upset New York Times headline. Unfortunately, we have to
- 43:30Speaker 2: take Spencer Pratt seriously as a politician. And then they
- 43:34Speaker 2: write this article about how, here's what it says, We're
- 43:37Speaker 2: now in a era of reality show stars. We have
- 43:42Speaker 2: a reality TV president. This is the big myth they
- 43:45Speaker 2: created that Trump's a reality TV star. That's like saying,
- 43:50Speaker 2: Joe Biden, we now have a lifeguard as president, because
- 43:54Speaker 2: somewhere in his long career he was briefly a lifeguard
- 43:56Speaker 2: when he was a kid. Trump was not a reality
- 43:59Speaker 2: TV star. Yes, he was on The Apprentice, but he
- 44:03Speaker 2: was a huge, huge, huge figure in America for about
- 44:08Speaker 2: thirty years before The Apprentice.
- 44:10Speaker 5: It had.
- 44:11Speaker 2: The Apprentice had nothing to do with his gaining any fame,
- 44:14Speaker 2: and in fact, the creator The Apprentice, Mark Burnett, on
- 44:17Speaker 2: this very show, told us the story. He came up
- 44:20Speaker 2: with the idea, he came up with the format, he
- 44:22Speaker 2: designed the whole show. And then I said, why did
- 44:25Speaker 2: you pick Donald Trump? He said, well, when he came
- 44:27Speaker 2: up the idea, we had to find a businessman, and
- 44:30Speaker 2: I thought to myself, who's the most famous businessman in America?
- 44:33Speaker 2: And it was Donald Trump. So I contacted him and
- 44:36Speaker 2: he liked it, So he got the show because he
- 44:39Speaker 2: was already the most famous businessman in America. But Pratt
- 44:44Speaker 2: is going to he's on track now to win the
- 44:46Speaker 2: mayoral race in Los Angeles. In fact, after that debate,
- 44:52Speaker 2: online poll ninety percent said he won the debate. Ninety percent.
- 44:57Speaker 2: That's pretty amazing. Apparently on the view they went nuts.
- 45:03Speaker 2: Those ridiculous I mean, remember the views like the low
- 45:08Speaker 2: IQ show. So for the left, that's their low IQ show.
- 45:13Speaker 2: But the view host went nuts, yelling and screaming about
- 45:18Speaker 2: Spencer Pratt and yelling and here's their big point. They
- 45:22Speaker 2: kept yelling about, how could you take a guy with
- 45:24Speaker 2: no experience, who's not a manager and never run anything
- 45:27Speaker 2: and let him run a fifteen billion dollar budget? How
- 45:30Speaker 2: could you do that? We just did it in New York.
- 45:34Speaker 2: We took a college kid mom Donnie, who's never had
- 45:36Speaker 2: a job in his life, and gave him one hundred
- 45:39Speaker 2: and thirty million dollar budget. One hundred and thirty billion
- 45:42Speaker 2: dollar budget to run. So we just did it. And
- 45:44Speaker 2: these same phonies on the view never said a word
- 45:47Speaker 2: about that. One of them said, Spencer Pratt, you don't
- 45:51Speaker 2: have experience, you don't have a law degree from Harvard
- 45:54Speaker 2: Law School. Like that's going to help. Who would vote
- 45:59Speaker 2: for it if we had ever had a There's never
- 46:02Speaker 2: been a great politician with a law degree from Harvard
- 46:04Speaker 2: Law School. There's never even been a great lawyer with
- 46:07Speaker 2: a law degree from Harvard Law School. You look at
- 46:09Speaker 2: the greatest lawyers in the world, the top lawyers in America.
- 46:12Speaker 2: You know, they went to Hofstra. They went to Brooklyn College.
- 46:15Speaker 2: Then the Hofstra graduates from the law school. They're all
- 46:19Speaker 2: working for these big lawyers. So this is a serious
- 46:23Speaker 2: and keep an eye on this Spencer Pratt in Los Angeles.
- 46:29Speaker 2: It's a fascinating story. Hey, Bruce Blakeman, we hope will
- 46:32Speaker 2: be our governor. He's the most qualified guy in the
- 46:35Speaker 2: world for this. He'd be a great governor. You know,
- 46:37Speaker 2: they screwed around and played games and totally corrupt that
- 46:41Speaker 2: campaign finance board. It's been stacked with left wing Democrats,
- 46:46Speaker 2: and they denied him as matching funds. They were totally
- 46:51Speaker 2: corrupt about it. So a judge is just reversed that.
- 46:55Speaker 2: A judge, an Albany County Supreme Court judge issued an
- 46:59Speaker 2: order signed it this week. The will force the New
- 47:03Speaker 2: York State Campaign Finance Board to reverse their decision and
- 47:06Speaker 2: give Blakeman the money. It's millions and millions of dollars
- 47:09Speaker 2: and then he can start spending it. In fact, the
- 47:13Speaker 2: judge really excoriated the Democratic Board, saying it clearly went
- 47:19Speaker 2: against its own regulations. Apparently there was a something was
- 47:23Speaker 2: wrong on a form of Blakeman, some little clerical error,
- 47:28Speaker 2: and they didn't give Blakeman any notice. I guess the
- 47:31Speaker 2: form was incomplete. They according to the judge, they violated
- 47:35Speaker 2: everything because they didn't give them notice the form was incomplete.
- 47:38Speaker 2: They didn't give them the required one week period to
- 47:41Speaker 2: fix any supposed mistakes. So the good this great judge
- 47:45Speaker 2: Albany State Supreme Court, Albany County Supreme Court. Blakeman will
- 47:49Speaker 2: get his money now. Hochel is not asking for any
- 47:53Speaker 2: campaign funds. Why because she's got thirty two million in
- 47:57Speaker 2: a war chest, thirty two million all from big money
- 48:00Speaker 2: donors who she will then have to do massive favors
- 48:04Speaker 2: for Stephen Colbert going off the air in less than
- 48:09Speaker 2: a week next Thursday night, I'll be the end of Colbert.
- 48:13Speaker 2: And that's great news. Now he's had all the talk
- 48:16Speaker 2: show hosts back. Last night he had David Letterman back,
- 48:20Speaker 2: and Letterman, who's become quite the angry, cranky, bitter sort
- 48:24Speaker 2: of a guy. I mean, he was always a little ornery,
- 48:26Speaker 2: but he was trashing CBS, trashing the country, the president, everything.
- 48:33Speaker 2: It was a one great moment. Remember Letterman used to
- 48:35Speaker 2: drop stuff off the roof of the building, drop watermelons
- 48:38Speaker 2: on the street. So they did that. It was that
- 48:40Speaker 2: actually was pretty good. They were throwing furniture, CBS furniture
- 48:44Speaker 2: off the roof of the building, aiming at a CBS
- 48:48Speaker 2: logo on the ground. Then they started throwing watermelons. It
- 48:51Speaker 2: wasn't bad. But then Letterman so pompous. He turns to
- 48:57Speaker 2: Colbert and shakes his handings, I want to thank you
- 48:59Speaker 2: for what you've done for the country. What has he
- 49:02Speaker 2: done for the country except screw up Late Night TV
- 49:05Speaker 2: used to be Johnny Carson, used to be Jay Leno.
- 49:08Speaker 2: It used to be fun and funny. That was the
- 49:10Speaker 2: idea of late night TV. Steve Allen started the Tonight Show.
- 49:14Speaker 2: That was the idea, you have a few laughs, entertainment laughs,
- 49:17Speaker 2: then you go to sleep. Colbert has turned it into angry,
- 49:21Speaker 2: vicious hatred, partisan hatred, get you all riled up right
- 49:25Speaker 2: before you go to sleep. Makes no sense at all,
- 49:27Speaker 2: Although it was kind of Letterman that started the Remember
- 49:29Speaker 2: when Letterman started, he was in the Johnny Carson tradition.
- 49:34Speaker 2: He was on after Carson at twelve thirty. Then he
- 49:38Speaker 2: was on at eleven thirty against Jay Leno, and they
- 49:40Speaker 2: both did very funny shows. It was funny, it was comical,
- 49:44Speaker 2: it was fun and then and Letterman did very well
- 49:48Speaker 2: for many years, beating the Tonight Show. He was very successful.
- 49:51Speaker 2: But then remember in the last few years, Letterman got
- 49:54Speaker 2: very left wing, very political. That's fine if your left wing,
- 49:58Speaker 2: but you don't do it on the air. And when
- 50:01Speaker 2: these guys do it on the air, it becomes angry,
- 50:04Speaker 2: it becomes vicious, it becomes hate. Phil So Letterman's ratings plunged,
- 50:08Speaker 2: they dropped in half, and that led to the end
- 50:11Speaker 2: of his show. He was gone. But it's fascinating to
- 50:14Speaker 2: watch Letterman and Colbert on lest they're celebrating Who celebrates
- 50:20Speaker 2: a guy getting fired? And who brings out another guy
- 50:22Speaker 2: that was fired? You know, somebody leaves here or any
- 50:26Speaker 2: company if they quit or they're moving on. You have
- 50:29Speaker 2: a party, we have a cake. The guy gets fired?
- 50:32Speaker 2: Do you bring in a party and a cake and
- 50:34Speaker 2: everybody has balloons celebrate the guy getting fired? Only in
- 50:39Speaker 2: the left wing kookie world? Could that happen? Hey, Scott
- 50:43Speaker 2: Shannon will be with us in a little while, the
- 50:45Speaker 2: greatest living DJ, maybe the greatest of all time. We'll
- 50:48Speaker 2: talk to Scott Shannon. Coming up. We'll take some calls. Next.
- 50:51Speaker 2: Eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten is
- 50:55Speaker 2: the number eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten.
- 51:00Speaker 1: If you're listening to Mark on the iHeart Radio app,
- 51:02Speaker 1: save time and tap the breset button.
- 51:05Speaker 2: Now.
- 51:06Speaker 1: Now back to the Mark Simone show on woor.
- 51:10Speaker 2: Well, let's take some calls. Let's go to Chris Westhampton.
- 51:14Speaker 2: Chris is a PanicIn. Let's see what he's worried about. Now, Chris,
- 51:17Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 51:18Speaker 12: Hi?
- 51:18Speaker 18: I'm calling as a public service because I'm always wrong,
- 51:22Speaker 18: So I want to say that I think we're going
- 51:23Speaker 18: to get screwed with Iran. That there's not enough time
- 51:27Speaker 18: for oil prices to come back down before the election.
- 51:30Speaker 18: Prices are still high, and everything he ran on is
- 51:35Speaker 18: going in the wrong direction. And also, did you know Joe.
- 51:37Speaker 2: Sorolla, Joe Sorolla the actor, the.
- 51:40Speaker 18: Voiceover guy did the voiceover ya, I know you know everybody?
- 51:44Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 51:44Speaker 10: Absolutely?
- 51:45Speaker 2: Why did you bring him up?
- 51:46Speaker 18: Is he still Because I was thinking about your voice
- 51:48Speaker 18: the other day and like people that have really recognizable voices,
- 51:52Speaker 18: and I remember Joe and he was but I thought
- 51:54Speaker 18: maybe that was a little bit before your time.
- 51:56Speaker 2: No, I knew that, I mean it was. I'm not sure.
- 51:59Speaker 2: I haven't seen him the long. Is he still alive?
- 52:01Speaker 2: He's no longer with it?
- 52:02Speaker 18: No, No, he died. But I mean I think he
- 52:04Speaker 18: used to do like ads for Exxon and mobile.
- 52:06Speaker 2: Oh. He was one of the topic voiceover guys in
- 52:08Speaker 2: the world. Probably made ten million a year doing voice over.
- 52:11Speaker 18: He was very trustable too, like you you know, like
- 52:13Speaker 18: when you endorse something, it has something to it.
- 52:16Speaker 2: But you know, all those voiceover guys they're making like
- 52:18Speaker 2: ten million a year, but nobody knows who they are,
- 52:20Speaker 2: so it drives them nuts.
- 52:21Speaker 18: So well, I knew who he was. He used to
- 52:24Speaker 18: come into a restaurant I worked at called Oscars And.
- 52:28Speaker 2: Where was Where was Oscars?
- 52:29Speaker 18: It was on sixty seventh and third. It was Oscar
- 52:31Speaker 18: Salt of the Sea.
- 52:32Speaker 2: Oh, I remember that place.
- 52:33Speaker 18: Yeah, it was there forever when ever was an institution.
- 52:35Speaker 18: Lots of people used to come in. Benny Goodman and him,
- 52:38Speaker 18: Benny goodmanute, yeah, yeah, I knew Betty Yeah, And I
- 52:41Speaker 18: mean I knew these people used to come in.
- 52:43Speaker 2: You know, Benny Goodman lived up the block in that
- 52:45Speaker 2: building that biggest Manhattan has.
- 52:48Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 52:49Speaker 2: And I remember when I was on the air when
- 52:51Speaker 2: Benny Goodman died. I was on W and E W.
- 52:53Speaker 2: We had all the greatest stars on the show, the
- 52:55Speaker 2: greatest singers. Benny Goodman died, and we were on the air,
- 52:59Speaker 2: and I quick, get everybody, Get Elephantzgerald, Getlena Horne, get
- 53:02Speaker 2: everybody to come on and talk. Well, I didn't realize
- 53:05Speaker 2: he was the most hated guy in the history of
- 53:07Speaker 2: show business. So every single performer we call this Benny
- 53:10Speaker 2: Goodman died. Good you want to come on, everybody? Will
- 53:15Speaker 2: you come on and say something? No, I don't want
- 53:17Speaker 2: to talk about him.
- 53:18Speaker 18: So well, we have a good weekend.
- 53:21Speaker 2: Apparently it was a very nasty guy, and then all
- 53:25Speaker 2: the musicians that joke went around everywhere. The good news
- 53:29Speaker 2: is Benny Goodman died. The bad news is he died
- 53:32Speaker 2: in his sleep. So I didn't really know the guy,
- 53:35Speaker 2: but apparently a very nasty guy. Let's go to John
- 53:38Speaker 2: and Florida. John, how you doing all right?
- 53:41Speaker 10: Mark?
- 53:41Speaker 14: The earliest story at Chelsea Gabbitt?
- 53:44Speaker 18: What happens?
- 53:45Speaker 14: Greg Kelly ran it on his shoulder night before and
- 53:48Speaker 14: Colonel Hunt was going that they rated Chelsea Gabbat's office
- 53:51Speaker 14: from the Pentagon and they even Colonel Hunt said that
- 53:56Speaker 14: that couldn't beat that would just put us in a
- 53:57Speaker 14: constitutional crisis. That's what the only all was talking about.
- 54:01Speaker 14: Kelly Brandwinter, I don't think, Yeah.
- 54:03Speaker 2: Greg, Kelly does a great shows on Newsmax every night
- 54:05Speaker 2: from nine to ten, and he comes up with stuff
- 54:07Speaker 2: that nobody else is covering. So an important show to watch.
- 54:11Speaker 2: President Trump watches it every night nine to ten on
- 54:15Speaker 2: news Max. Thanks for Colin. Let's go to rich In
- 54:18Speaker 2: fair Lawn, Rich how you doing?
- 54:21Speaker 7: Mark? I'm just wondering, whatever happened to that little cubby
- 54:26Speaker 7: hole in the White House that had white powder in it?
- 54:29Speaker 19: Did they ever find out who placed it there.
- 54:32Speaker 2: Well, you know, Jimmy Fayla was telling us yesterday how
- 54:35Speaker 2: he went back to visit the White House. He was there,
- 54:36Speaker 2: he said, I went back to get my coke. So, okay, care, No,
- 54:40Speaker 2: I don't know. Will we assume it was Hunter Biden's.
- 54:44Speaker 7: Oh definitely, it's the only assumption anybody could have.
- 54:47Speaker 5: That's for sure.
- 54:48Speaker 2: Two theories out there, thanks for calling. One is that
- 54:50Speaker 2: it was Hunter Biden's. The other theory, you know, Joe
- 54:54Speaker 2: Biden was always akinacoma, and they sometimes when they had
- 54:57Speaker 2: a like get him awake and energy for speech, they
- 55:01Speaker 2: would give them this injection with it was adderall B twelve,
- 55:04Speaker 2: the whole list of things that would get them up.
- 55:08Speaker 2: Some people thought they would use cocaine sometimes to wake
- 55:11Speaker 2: him up if he's comatose, sleepy Joe and something important.
- 55:16Speaker 2: Some people thought they would give him coke to make
- 55:18Speaker 2: them suddenly alert. So this was right outside the situation room.
- 55:22Speaker 2: And if they ever had to go into the situation
- 55:24Speaker 2: room with Biden, obviously it's some crisis, you'd need him alert.
- 55:28Speaker 2: So some theorized that's what the cocaine was doing there.
- 55:31Speaker 2: Let's go to Ernie in Connecticut, Ernie, how you doing.
- 55:35Speaker 19: Always a pleasure?
- 55:36Speaker 2: Mark.
- 55:37Speaker 19: You would make comments last week about all the Blue
- 55:39Speaker 19: states raising taxes, and you brought up Connecticut back in
- 55:43Speaker 19: the nineteen eighties, and I did the research. In Connecticut.
- 55:49Speaker 19: We had zero income tax. Yeah, the state had the
- 55:52Speaker 19: highest economic growth in the country, the highest per capita
- 55:56Speaker 19: individual income, highest household income.
- 56:00Speaker 2: Yeah, name is boom. If you have no taxes. The
- 56:03Speaker 2: only problem is everybody will move there and you'll make
- 56:05Speaker 2: a fortune. But a good point. You know one thing
- 56:07Speaker 2: about Democrats, they don't believe in science. They will not
- 56:10Speaker 2: follow the science. We know how to run an economy.
- 56:13Speaker 2: We've tested every model a million times. That's the science
- 56:16Speaker 2: of it. If you'd lower the taxes, the economy booms.
- 56:20Speaker 2: If you have no taxes, it really booms. If you
- 56:22Speaker 2: raise taxes, the economy suffers. Take socialism for example. We've
- 56:27Speaker 2: run that experiment all over the world ten thousand times.
- 56:30Speaker 2: It fails every time. But Democrats don't follow the science.
- 56:34Speaker 2: Let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn.
- 56:36Speaker 10: Vincent, how you doing, Good morning, Mark, Good morning, Mara.
- 56:39Speaker 18: Mark.
- 56:39Speaker 10: I have a bridge to sell to anyone who believes
- 56:42Speaker 10: that China isn't supplying food and arms to Iran, and
- 56:47Speaker 10: so is Turkey, Pakistan, Russia via the Caspian Sea north
- 56:52Speaker 10: of Iran, China, and I heard elite military report the
- 56:56Speaker 10: other day. That's why I'm saying this. Normally there are
- 57:01Speaker 10: about two hundred tractor trailer trucks that bring food and
- 57:04Speaker 10: stuff into Iran. Now Turkey is part of NATO, but
- 57:09Speaker 10: Turkey is really not our friend. That number has increased
- 57:13Speaker 10: up to five hundred tractor trailers a day going into Iran.
- 57:18Speaker 10: The northern part of Iran sits right on the Caspian Sea,
- 57:21Speaker 10: and I'm looking at a world map right now that
- 57:24Speaker 10: goes right into Russia and all of Russia's controlled territories.
- 57:29Speaker 10: On the other side, we're looking at the Strait of Harmuz.
- 57:33Speaker 10: They're going every other place. On the far eastern side
- 57:37Speaker 10: of Iran. There's railroad tracks that go right to the
- 57:42Speaker 10: very edge of Asia. And China is trucking massive amounts
- 57:47Speaker 10: of food, arms and everything over land into Iran. This
- 57:53Speaker 10: seas fire should have lasted twenty four hours.
- 57:57Speaker 8: Just for.
- 58:00Speaker 5: Red Cross relief and food relief. Like gi Israel does
- 58:04Speaker 5: dig with the Godza Strip. This is baloney. They are
- 58:08Speaker 5: re arming and getting food that's why they're not on
- 58:12Speaker 5: their knees yet. Everybody's looking at the Strait of Mormos
- 58:16Speaker 5: getting their action every on the place. And this was
- 58:20Speaker 5: a leak to report that I heard the other day.
- 58:23Speaker 2: When we got to go for the news. But that's
- 58:25Speaker 2: a good point. Thanks for calling. We'll see President returns
- 58:28Speaker 2: to the White House tonight. He'll be back over the weekend.
- 58:31Speaker 2: Then let's see. I think he might see a resumption
- 58:33Speaker 2: and everything. Hey, when we come back, the greatest DJ

- 1:00:41Speaker 2: Scott Shannon, how you doing.
- 1:00:44Speaker 7: I know that you're a humble, shy fellow. I gotta
- 1:00:49Speaker 7: tell you you've been on You've been on fire this week. Man,
- 1:00:52Speaker 7: you've been doing it. Today's awesome. You've got a lot
- 1:00:55Speaker 7: of good calls today. Yesterday you did the Hannity Show and.
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: You are the voice of the Sean Hannity Show.
- 1:01:03Speaker 7: Yeah, but I mean you were. You know what's funny
- 1:01:07Speaker 7: is usually when somebody fills in for another you know star,
- 1:01:12Speaker 7: they're always but you do this. You're the same guy
- 1:01:16Speaker 7: doing either show.
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: Yeah that's true. Uh, I guess, well, we're pretty similar shows.
- 1:01:22Speaker 7: But well, you seem very you sound very relaxed when
- 1:01:25Speaker 7: you're doing it. It's very comfortable for you.
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: It's called half asleep, that is.
- 1:01:32Speaker 7: And by the way, that your Trump Phone's going to
- 1:01:35Speaker 7: be just a little bit late. You ordered one of
- 1:01:36Speaker 7: those Trump Gold phones, didn't you.
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I like that. That's pretty good.
- 1:01:40Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:01:41Speaker 7: Well, supposedly they're supposed to ship this week, but they've
- 1:01:46Speaker 7: got some problems Trump Mobile. The ceo over there blamed
- 1:01:52Speaker 7: the delays on phone parts needing to be tested for
- 1:01:56Speaker 7: quality assurances they got. They didn't test them, so they're
- 1:02:00Speaker 7: not sending them out yet. You don't have to worry
- 1:02:04Speaker 7: about it.
- 1:02:05Speaker 5: You know.
- 1:02:07Speaker 7: I've been pretty busy myself because my network where I
- 1:02:11Speaker 7: try to keep the oldies alive, the sixties and seventies,
- 1:02:14Speaker 7: the true broke open.
- 1:02:17Speaker 8: Yeah, that's it.
- 1:02:18Speaker 7: But the problem is that it's not a problem for me.
- 1:02:22Speaker 7: But it's just we've all of a sudden, a lot
- 1:02:25Speaker 7: of stations, a lot of companies are coming to us
- 1:02:29Speaker 7: to put our network on their station because, as you know,
- 1:02:35Speaker 7: radio is having some problems right now. There's still there's
- 1:02:39Speaker 7: some you know, obviously, my heart's doing time, but a
- 1:02:42Speaker 7: lot of companies who aren't as well driven, let's put
- 1:02:47Speaker 7: it that way, they're having some problems. They're having to
- 1:02:49Speaker 7: cut people, cut people pretty soon. They don't have anybody
- 1:02:52Speaker 7: to go on radio.
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: Yeah, but you can listen to Scott Jennon every morning,
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: the True Oldies Channel, and some stations like all of
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: a sudden, no One in Boston they're airing your show.
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: So you're the morning man all over the country. But
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: where should people go to listen to True Oldiest Channel?
- 1:03:07Speaker 7: Well, you can obviously in Boston we're on w mextually
- 1:03:12Speaker 7: just started last week as a big one. And then
- 1:03:15Speaker 7: here in New York we're on ninety two to three
- 1:03:18Speaker 7: FM HD three, and a lot of people listen on
- 1:03:22Speaker 7: their Alexa or you know anything like that. You go
- 1:03:26Speaker 7: to True Oldies Channel on iHeart Radio. You say, hey, Alexa,
- 1:03:31Speaker 7: play True Oldiest Channel on iHeart Radio. Yeah, it's very good,
- 1:03:36Speaker 7: you know, It's just it's just a way for me
- 1:03:39Speaker 7: to continue to do what I like to do beyond
- 1:03:42Speaker 7: the radio. And part of the show that I do,
- 1:03:46Speaker 7: we use a lot of these goofy stories, and I
- 1:03:50Speaker 7: don't know, in the past few days, there's been so
- 1:03:53Speaker 7: many weird things going on.
- 1:03:55Speaker 5: You know.
- 1:03:55Speaker 7: Did you hear the story from Pope Leo a couple
- 1:03:58Speaker 7: of days ago. No, he was trying to call the
- 1:04:02Speaker 7: bank his bank when he lived in Chicago or where
- 1:04:05Speaker 7: he grew up, and he called it just himself, and
- 1:04:11Speaker 7: he wanted to change his mailing address for all of
- 1:04:14Speaker 7: his banking needs and all that. So he told the
- 1:04:17Speaker 7: girl and I said, well, she said, and said, Pope Leo.
- 1:04:22Speaker 7: She said what he said, it's the Pope. She goes, oh, yeah,
- 1:04:26Speaker 7: you're Pope Leo, went on Virgin Mary.
- 1:04:30Speaker 8: Well and she hung up.
- 1:04:31Speaker 7: We hung up on the Pope.
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: Well, who wouldn't if if a guy called me and
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: says Pope Leo, I would not believe me either. Who
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: would believe him?
- 1:04:39Speaker 7: Then we got a I got another. I got a
- 1:04:41Speaker 7: great story from Florida. This guy on a motorcycle arrested.
- 1:04:47Speaker 7: He was on a high speed chase. He was clocked
- 1:04:51Speaker 7: at one hundred and twenty miles an hour. But that
- 1:04:56Speaker 7: was that wasn't the weird part. He was dressed up
- 1:04:59Speaker 7: as the Eastern Bunny, honest motorcycle. That's pretty pretty funny.
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: How many tickets did he get for that one hundred
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: and twenty? That's like a felony, you know. That's yeah,
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: that's bad.
- 1:05:09Speaker 12: That's bad, bad, bad bad.
- 1:05:11Speaker 7: And I know you're a big rap music fan, so
- 1:05:15Speaker 7: you you remember Eminem right, of course, very popular guy.
- 1:05:20Speaker 7: Well he had he married his childhood sweetheart. I think
- 1:05:24Speaker 7: he married her a couple of times. Yeah, Kimberly Scott
- 1:05:29Speaker 7: is her name, and both of them had drug problems
- 1:05:34Speaker 7: over the years. He managed to kick his, but she
- 1:05:40Speaker 7: goes back and forth. She's fifty one years old, and
- 1:05:44Speaker 7: this past week she got She was taking her son,
- 1:05:50Speaker 7: I think he's in his teens, and a couple of
- 1:05:53Speaker 7: his buddies. They're in the car with her. They're going
- 1:05:55Speaker 7: to the mall to go shopping, and she smashed her
- 1:05:59Speaker 7: range row over into a truck that was actually parked
- 1:06:03Speaker 7: on This wasn't even movement. It was parked on the street,
- 1:06:07Speaker 7: and she ran into it. And then she didn't stop
- 1:06:10Speaker 7: and wait for a cop. She drove back to her
- 1:06:13Speaker 7: house and when she was pulling up in the drive away,
- 1:06:16Speaker 7: she kept going and ran into her garage. Well he
- 1:06:23Speaker 7: crashed the garage into the door right there.
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: Man.
- 1:06:26Speaker 7: Bam.
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: Well that's I got eighties right there. That's like jail
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: time for that kind of stuff.
- 1:06:31Speaker 7: That's not been a bit, been a busy, busy name.
- 1:06:35Speaker 7: Now you know, we got a new Rolling Stones album
- 1:06:37Speaker 7: coming out.
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: Uh, but who's going.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: To play Oh wait a minute, I hear you what who's.
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: Going to play it? I mean I gotta play on
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: See one hundred. They're not going to play it on
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: light FM.
- 1:06:48Speaker 7: I mean, I can't even play it on the Tree Holdies.
- 1:06:55Speaker 7: But I gotta tell you, like like me, I you know,
- 1:06:59Speaker 7: I couldn't they retired the Stones, they still want to
- 1:07:02Speaker 7: play Okay.
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: I guess Paul McCartney's always doing a new album. Billy
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: Joel did one last year.
- 1:07:08Speaker 7: I guess, yeah, Jagger, I think I think Jagger and
- 1:07:11Speaker 7: Keith are both eighty two years old.
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:07:14Speaker 7: And Ronnie Wood he's a young, spry chicken. He's seventy nine.
- 1:07:18Speaker 7: Wo But the weird but the weird thing about the
- 1:07:21Speaker 7: new album it's called Foreming Tongs, coming out July tenth.
- 1:07:27Speaker 7: I believe, but I saw the video. Have you seen
- 1:07:30Speaker 7: the video for the first song from.
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: The album, No No Yet.
- 1:07:34Speaker 7: It's a good song, but they used a I to
- 1:07:40Speaker 7: make it look like they're young again in the video.
- 1:07:44Speaker 7: They're singing, they're singing this song, but they look like they're,
- 1:07:47Speaker 7: you know, twenty years old.
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: Isn't that kind of sad though that they have to
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: do that?
- 1:07:54Speaker 7: Oh yeah, yeah, But I mean I saw him doing
- 1:07:57Speaker 7: that press comments the other day and he and Mix
- 1:08:00Speaker 7: had no work done whatsoever. And that's that's a good
- 1:08:06Speaker 7: case for plastic surgery, you see that. But I don't
- 1:08:10Speaker 7: think he wants to go out on tour. And Keith
- 1:08:14Speaker 7: doesn't want to do it. You know, he's not, He doesn't.
- 1:08:19Speaker 7: He's not in such good shape as Mick the Mick
- 1:08:22Speaker 7: Mix that he can bounce around like a thirty forty.
- 1:08:26Speaker 19: Year old guy.
- 1:08:27Speaker 7: Yeah, and it goes out on the stage. And then
- 1:08:30Speaker 7: you got the McCartney album. The reviews are really really good.
- 1:08:34Speaker 7: They say it's one of his strongest albums in many,
- 1:08:37Speaker 7: many years.
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: Yeah, but again, who's going to play it?
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: Well?
- 1:08:42Speaker 7: Remember that I think I told you the story before.
- 1:08:46Speaker 7: Elton John and Billy joelarts still on there on speaking
- 1:08:50Speaker 7: terms now, and Billy called him and talked to him and.
- 1:08:55Speaker 10: So, what are you doing.
- 1:08:56Speaker 7: I'm working on a new album, man, getting a new album,
- 1:08:58Speaker 7: Pat And he says why, you know why? And he
- 1:09:04Speaker 7: said you aren't you going to do a new rout?
- 1:09:06Speaker 7: He said, no, nobody cares about us and our new music.
- 1:09:11Speaker 7: They want to hear our old songs.
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: Yeah, well we care about them. But they're elder statesmen.
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: They do concerts, that's what they do.
- 1:09:18Speaker 7: Yeah, but they don't. But you know, I saw Anutrition
- 1:09:22Speaker 7: and I went to see uh, Paul McCartney. I think
- 1:09:26Speaker 7: we're in one of the places in Jersey, one of
- 1:09:28Speaker 7: the big places there, and that's where he was on stage.
- 1:09:32Speaker 7: You know, when he stops, he says, I'm going to
- 1:09:34Speaker 7: warn you right now, I'm going to do one of
