- 0:12Speaker 1: I've been waiting for this moment for all my life.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Hold on. Hold on.
- 0:26Speaker 2: All right, welcome to the shed.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Do you remember? Don't worry.
- 0:33Speaker 2: No Sammy with us as we get into the final round.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Final round of footy this weekend.
- 0:39Speaker 1: There's two more, mate. Is there? Yeah, one more. Oh,
- 0:42Speaker 1: what the fuck? I've missed that final round all day.
- 0:44Speaker 1: I don't know. Final home game for the Broncos. Final
- 0:46Speaker 1: home game for the Broncos. Oh, okay. This used to
- 0:48Speaker 1: be the final round, but it's 27 for the last
- 0:50Speaker 1: two years.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Okay.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Three years now.
- 0:52Speaker 2: All right.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Five years, four years maybe. Yeah. Yeah, so good work.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Good.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Good effort. Good.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Okay.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You almost got there.
- 0:58Speaker 2: You weren't sure. Final home game for the Broncos. Can
- 1:01Speaker 2: Bruce jump in here? Yeah, Bruce.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Yes, Bruce. We had a comment on social media that said,
- 1:05Speaker 1: how the fuck can two ex-players know so little about
- 1:08Speaker 1: each other? Who? Sometimes the we don't know.
- 1:12Speaker 3: A little bit that's funny what were we talking about
- 1:14Speaker 3: anything anything everything.
- 1:19Speaker 2: That's true.
- 1:21Speaker 1: I know that part no I know nothing.
- 1:23Speaker 2: When you can't pronounce the names of players that you've
- 1:25Speaker 2: actually played with I reckon that's the best like you're
- 1:29Speaker 2: supposed to be their friend I just.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Get away with it probably I don't know yeah look
- 1:35Speaker 3: I just don't listen because it's all BS all the
- 1:38Speaker 3: shit during the week is bullshit.
- 1:39Speaker 1: That's why I don't know a lot about it because
- 1:41Speaker 1: I just I just want to watch the footy.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:44Speaker 1: That's it.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Um, have you been watching the Broncos games lately? Because, uh,
- 1:49Speaker 2: since we've been finished. Yeah.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Yeah, I do.
- 1:52Speaker 3: I like to, but a lot of the time I'm actually, um,
- 1:56Speaker 3: if it's home, I'm working there. And when you, when
- 1:59Speaker 3: you're there, you don't really get to take it all in.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:02Speaker 3: And then if I'm not there, I've actually been busy
- 2:05Speaker 3: a lot. So I miss a lot of their games, but.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Um, Don't you reckon when they're doing the draw for
- 2:12Speaker 2: the season and they're working out the games, you know,
- 2:14Speaker 2: as we get in towards the pointy end, they would
- 2:16Speaker 2: have thought, you know, a couple of months ago, you
- 2:18Speaker 2: would have thought Broncos storm. This is going to be unbelievable.
- 2:22Speaker 2: This will be like the.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Prelude to the grand final.
- 2:25Speaker 3: This will be one and three or two and four.
- 2:28Speaker 3: This will be the top four teams.
- 2:29Speaker 2: It's last year's grand finalists. This is going to be
- 2:32Speaker 2: a cracker.
- 2:32Speaker 1: It's the bottom eight playoff. Yeah.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Neither of them are going to make it.
- 2:35Speaker 1: No, no. It's crazy. All I do know is I
- 2:37Speaker 1: won 500 bucks. Thank you, Paul Minto.
- 2:40Speaker 2: So how was that? So you bet Paul.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Yeah, me and Paul Minto.
- 2:43Speaker 2: That you said what? Storm wouldn't make it?
- 2:45Speaker 3: Yeah, and at that time, Storm, they lost all those games,
- 2:48Speaker 3: but the Bronx were actually doing well.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:50Speaker 3: And I reckon if we weren't doing well, he'd be like, yeah, okay,
- 2:53Speaker 3: so if they don't make it either, you owe me 500.
- 2:56Speaker 1: But he didn't make that bet, did he? Yeah, there
- 2:58Speaker 1: you go. It was just Melbourne didn't make it, so 500.
- 3:01Speaker 2: It's crazy.
- 3:02Speaker 1: It's a $ 5 bet, though, so. Yeah. On the Melbourne Cup.
- 3:07Speaker 2: I think it does make me feel better as a
- 3:09Speaker 2: Broncos fan to see that the Storm also, despite how
- 3:12Speaker 2: good they are, the coaches, everything, that those injuries were
- 3:15Speaker 2: too much. Like, they just couldn't do it.
- 3:17Speaker 1: They were just very different this year, eh, Melbourne? A
- 3:21Speaker 1: really different team. Like, all together, even when they had everyone.
- 3:26Speaker 1: I just think the game. Yeah.
- 3:28Speaker 3: Game got, was just, it surprised a lot of teams
- 3:31Speaker 3: this year, the game. And I think that's what has,
- 3:37Speaker 3: you know, shocked a lot of the teams.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Where we thought would be there. Yeah.
- 3:42Speaker 3: And then, as they got used to the games, you know,
- 3:46Speaker 3: I feel like the game is to blame for a
- 3:49Speaker 3: lot of the injuries this year.
- 3:50Speaker 2: What, the speed of the game because of.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Those six games? Yeah, I reckon they've ruined it.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Like they've just, not ruined it, but they've just, they've
- 3:57Speaker 3: brought another element in where it wasn't needed and it's hurting.
- 4:03Speaker 1: A lot of teams, but mainly players. These injuries are bad.
- 4:08Speaker 3: So I reckon that's played a big part in this
- 4:11Speaker 3: year's game, not just these two teams. The whole year,
- 4:15Speaker 3: I think it's been a massive impact and negatively.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Well, there was a number of games across the weekend
- 4:22Speaker 2: where there was 70 points scored.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Yeah. Everyone looks knackered. Yeah.
- 4:27Speaker 2: You're losing 40 to 30 and things like that. It's crazy. Yeah.
- 4:32Speaker 1: The amount of points this year is insane. I don't
- 4:34Speaker 1: like it.
- 4:35Speaker 3: Entertainment, our game's entertaining as it is. We don't need it.
- 4:40Speaker 1: We don't need any more points. Yeah. And it's only
- 4:44Speaker 1: game for me was that Roosters and Panthers game. It
- 4:47Speaker 1: was 8-12 or something. Yeah. 10-8. Old school. But it
- 4:51Speaker 1: was still, it was end of win, like.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Still playing. Non-stop footy. Yeah, action. It was still action,
- 4:55Speaker 1: you know what I mean? Like, that's a game. Yeah.
- 4:58Speaker 1: That's footy.
- 4:59Speaker 2: And yeah, and if you think about, like, the number
- 5:01Speaker 2: one football code in the world being soccer, I mean,
- 5:04Speaker 2: half the time.
- 5:05Speaker 1: There's three goals scored.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Half the time, it's nil all.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Nil all, like.
- 5:08Speaker 2: And people say it was a great game.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Oh, awesome. Where? What part? Like, tell me. So. We
- 5:13Speaker 1: don't need points. You don't need points.
- 5:15Speaker 3: Our game is exciting. They've made it more dangerous in
- 5:18Speaker 3: my eyes. So what they take out of that, I
- 5:22Speaker 3: think they've made our game more dangerous.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Well, one thing they do love in rugby league is
- 5:25Speaker 2: a rule change.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Oh, don't they?
- 5:28Speaker 2: And there's a new one.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Here we are.
- 5:30Speaker 2: We've got a couple of rounds left and we're bringing
- 5:32Speaker 2: in a new rule.
- 5:33Speaker 1: It's a trial for next year. I think it's going
- 5:34Speaker 1: to fail miserably. Okay. I'm calling it now.
- 5:37Speaker 3: I think everyone that has played the game has called
- 5:40Speaker 3: it and said it's going to fail miserably.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Like the biggest fail.
- 5:44Speaker 2: So it's kind of loses, loses choice. So what happens
- 5:47Speaker 2: is if you get, if you get a try scored
- 5:48Speaker 2: against you, you get to choose, do you want to
- 5:50Speaker 2: receive or kick off?
- 5:52Speaker 1: Yep.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Um, and what do you think they'll choose every time?
- 5:54Speaker 1: Receive. Right. But then sometimes I don't think they're all
- 5:57Speaker 1: because they don't play the game. None of the people
- 5:59Speaker 1: that run our game. Yeah.
- 6:01Speaker 3: They've never played. Um, sometimes when you're getting flogged, you know,
- 6:06Speaker 3: You just can't win anything.
- 6:08Speaker 2: It doesn't matter if you receive or not.
- 6:09Speaker 1: So you imagine, right, the team's getting floggy. I will receive,
- 6:13Speaker 1: drop the ball off, kick off.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Or first tackle gets smacked. Or they get locked into
- 6:18Speaker 3: their 20.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Yeah. Kick the ball.
- 6:20Speaker 3: The team that just scored's got the ball in the
- 6:22Speaker 3: 40 or the 50 and starting their set, they're like, ha,
- 6:25Speaker 3: how good's this?
- 6:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Better than receiving the ball for kick off.
- 6:28Speaker 2: So do you reckon then sometimes they might choose kick off?
- 6:31Speaker 1: No.
- 6:32Speaker 2: No, they still won't.
- 6:33Speaker 3: But no matter, I don't think it matters. Because if
- 6:37Speaker 3: you get a try scored against you, mentally, the mentality
- 6:42Speaker 3: should be, righto, let's lock them in.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:45Speaker 3: Let's lock them in. And then, as in, let's do
- 6:49Speaker 3: a great D set. They don't kick the ball past
- 6:52Speaker 3: their 40.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Right. Or 30. Yeah.
- 6:55Speaker 3: That's your mentality. But when you're losing and it's just
- 6:59Speaker 3: not working, that doesn't happen. So you reverse that. We
- 7:04Speaker 3: get the ball and you're not playing great footy.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:07Speaker 3: Who's to say they're not going to drop it, throw
- 7:09Speaker 3: a bad pass, or get locked in their own 20 themselves?
- 7:12Speaker 1: Yeah. It's not going to work. Like, from both ways,
- 7:16Speaker 1: it just doesn't work in my eyes.
- 7:18Speaker 3: And I think it's a load of bull because the
- 7:21Speaker 3: team that just got scored on gets the advantage back.
- 7:25Speaker 1: If it's a tight game, right, what's the point in scoring?
- 7:28Speaker 2: Yeah, right.
- 7:29Speaker 1: If it's a tight game, why score?
- 7:31Speaker 2: Let's say you're trying to chase 12 points in the
- 7:33Speaker 2: last eight minutes. Yeah. Yeah.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Or say it's six all, right? You score, go up 10-6,
- 7:39Speaker 1: miss the kick. They get the ball back and score.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Choose 12-10, you lose.
- 7:42Speaker 2: Yeah, okay.
- 7:43Speaker 1: I'd be pissed. Yeah. We just busted our ass and
- 7:47Speaker 1: then we have to give the ball back.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Okay.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Like, do you know what I mean?
- 7:51Speaker 2: So it's a no from you?
- 7:52Speaker 1: 100% no. The biggest no of all. Along with the
- 7:57Speaker 1: six again shit.
- 7:58Speaker 2: A no.
- 7:59Speaker 1: Seven tackle set. Go. Done. Done.
- 8:03Speaker 2: All right.
- 8:04Speaker 1: They get a ball on the 20. Yeah. Give them
- 8:06Speaker 1: another tackle.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Let's talk about... No, let's give them seven. We'll talk
- 8:10Speaker 2: about what's happening with Dry Arrow in a second, but
- 8:13Speaker 2: we should go through the game. So Broncos, Storm, you've
- 8:16Speaker 2: tipped the Bronx every round, no matter what. Are you
- 8:19Speaker 2: going to stick with that?
- 8:20Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Even though.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Mate, I get paid.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Yeah, okay. I... Yeah, I think this will be a
- 8:30Speaker 2: tight game because neither team are going very well. But
- 8:33Speaker 2: I think the Bronx, if Renault was playing, even if
- 8:37Speaker 2: it was just for a minute, I would tip the Bronx.
- 8:39Speaker 2: But I'm going to go to the Storm, I think.
- 8:41Speaker 3: Now, I will say, like, the Storm this year have
- 8:43Speaker 3: been depleted through injuries and bad injuries. A lot of
- 8:45Speaker 3: their players have retired or moved, you know, finished their careers.
- 8:49Speaker 3: Some moving on, haven't played many games. And they've been
- 8:51Speaker 3: some of their best players. So I will give them credit.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Like, they have busted.
- 8:56Speaker 3: Their ass this year and they've hustled.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Well, but I think it's just been that really unlucky
- 9:01Speaker 1: year for him. Yeah.
- 9:03Speaker 2: All right. But you're sticking Bronx? I'm sticking Bronx. Sammy
- 9:06Speaker 2: would have been Bronx.
- 9:07Speaker 1: He'll go Bronx.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Sammy gets away teams this week. Sammy's going on the
- 9:11Speaker 2: away teams. There you go.
- 9:13Speaker 1: So he's not picking Bronx because.
- 9:15Speaker 2: He's not here.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Okay. So he's on the storm.
- 9:16Speaker 2: There you go. All right. But the reason... The reason
- 9:21Speaker 2: Sammy's not here is because he's in Sydney for Friday.
- 9:23Speaker 3: But if he's not, and if you see him in
- 9:25Speaker 3: Sydney doing nothing, please send a photo through to the
- 9:28Speaker 3: show so we can bag him.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Yeah. Pretty much.
- 9:31Speaker 2: Because I think, yeah, well, actually he'll be near the
- 9:33Speaker 2: home of Krispy Kreme.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Does he need to be there for a game that's
- 9:36Speaker 3: on tomorrow? Yeah.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Like, come on.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Yeah, he should be.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Day early for what reason?
- 9:44Speaker 2: So the first game, the early game is... Is he tanning? Seagulls-Dragons.
- 9:49Speaker 2: It's a home game for the Seagulls. Yep. Dragons have
- 9:52Speaker 2: certainly finished, well, they finished the season better.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Than the Broncos have. They are finishing the season well.
- 9:58Speaker 1: The season is long. It's hard. They could be getting
- 10:01Speaker 1: tired because they're not playing. It's hard. Manly, they've got
- 10:06Speaker 1: to keep winning. They've got something to play for, don't they?
- 10:09Speaker 1: They've still got a chance.
- 10:11Speaker 2: Well, Manly are 10th.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Oh, yeah?
- 10:14Speaker 2: Yeah, there's probably still a skerrick of hope.
- 10:17Speaker 1: If you want to give yourself a chance, they've got
- 10:19Speaker 1: to win the next two games. Yep.
- 10:20Speaker 3: North Queensland can easily lose the next two. So their
- 10:24Speaker 3: four and against will be better because they blow teams
- 10:26Speaker 3: out of the park.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Yep. Their four and against is the best by a
- 10:29Speaker 1: mile out of those three. So, yeah, Manly have got
- 10:31Speaker 1: to keep winning.
- 10:32Speaker 2: So you tip Manly?
- 10:33Speaker 1: Yeah. I'm not going to bother. They've got a player
- 10:38Speaker 1: that's playing really good.
- 10:41Speaker 2: For Manly?
- 10:41Speaker 1: Manly. He played 5-8 on the weekend. Oh, yeah. He
- 10:44Speaker 1: played 5-8 before in his life. He plays fullback. Plays center.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Plays wing. I can't. He's so good, though. Oh, my Lord.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Give us an A.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Hang on. Hang on. Hang on.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Is it Felody?
- 10:56Speaker 1: No.
- 10:57Speaker 2: No, no, no.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Clayton Filalo.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Filalo? Yeah, he is unreal. I love him. I love
- 11:05Speaker 1: watching him play. I'm sorry if I got that wrong. Falalo? Falalo.
- 11:08Speaker 2: Yeah, so he's 5'8.
- 11:10Speaker 3: Yeah, and apparently he never played 5'8 before and played
- 11:13Speaker 3: last week, and he was their player of the match.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, I think he was, but he played unreal.
- 11:17Speaker 1: He's doing well. Yeah, I'm really enjoying him play. So
- 11:20Speaker 1: I think it'd be actually a good game of footy.
- 11:22Speaker 1: I think it'd be close. The Dragons are doing well,
- 11:24Speaker 1: but I'm going Manly.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Yep, Manly for me.
- 11:26Speaker 1: And Sammy's got the Dragons.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Sammy's on the Dragons.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Oh, he's going to hate the away team. Holy cow.
- 11:31Speaker 2: Now, this, and the second Friday night game, this is
- 11:34Speaker 2: in Penrith. This will be an important one for the
- 11:36Speaker 2: Panthers because they really need to, I think they need
- 11:38Speaker 2: to beat the Bulldogs.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Are they at three in a row or two in
- 11:40Speaker 1: a row? Losses. No, two. They. No, they won last week.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:49Speaker 2: They did lose.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Oh, shit.
- 11:51Speaker 2: They lost two in a row. They had a win
- 11:53Speaker 2: last week.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Anyway.
- 11:54Speaker 2: And the Bulldogs are coming off a win as well.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Yeah. I'm going Panthers.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Surely.
- 11:59Speaker 1: They are really good.
- 12:01Speaker 2: If they don't, I think that, yeah.
- 12:04Speaker 1: What are you going to do?
- 12:05Speaker 2: Well, this has got to be, I mean, the Bulldogs
- 12:07Speaker 2: obviously got plenty to play for. They come in ninth.
- 12:09Speaker 3: Yeah, no, the dogs, you know, they know how to
- 12:13Speaker 3: beat Panthers. They've done it a lot in the last
- 12:16Speaker 3: few years. They beat them, like, you know. And they're
- 12:20Speaker 3: coming back to a bit of form, the dogs.
- 12:22Speaker 2: But you reckon, surely, if the Panthers are a real
- 12:24Speaker 2: chance of winning this year, they're going to win it,
- 12:26Speaker 2: don't they?
- 12:27Speaker 1: Yeah. I think it is a hard game to pick,
- 12:30Speaker 1: if I'm honest.
- 12:32Speaker 2: I'm going the Panthers. Who are you on?
- 12:35Speaker 1: I don't... I did go the Doggies in... I mean,
- 12:38Speaker 1: the Panthers in my other betting... You know what? I'm
- 12:42Speaker 1: going the Dogs.
- 12:43Speaker 2: You're on the Dogs. And so is Sammy. It's an
- 12:45Speaker 2: away game. So on to Saturday, the Titans, Rabbits. So
- 12:52Speaker 2: this is 16th versus 7th. Again, the Rabbits with plenty
- 12:56Speaker 2: more to play for.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I think with everything that's happening at the club,
- 13:01Speaker 1: with Jai and.
- 13:02Speaker 3: All that, I think they'll win. They'll play a great
- 13:07Speaker 3: game of footy. And I think they need to, to
- 13:10Speaker 3: have a good run.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Can we get into what's happening with Jai? So this is,
- 13:16Speaker 2: he's short of his 100th game for South. So there's
- 13:21Speaker 2: basically been a rule change, which I think is fantastic.
- 13:23Speaker 1: It's cool, isn't it? Yeah.
- 13:25Speaker 3: They've changed the rule. I don't know what the rule is,
- 13:27Speaker 3: but they've just allowed Jai, I think, to run on
- 13:30Speaker 3: with the team, kick off, and then he just walks
- 13:33Speaker 3: straight off.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Yeah. And that's his game.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Yeah, and he's going to do that a couple of times.
- 13:37Speaker 3: He'll do it for the last two games, and the
- 13:39Speaker 3: final game for his 100th will be at home, which
- 13:43Speaker 3: I think is a really good send-off.
- 13:47Speaker 1: The NRL does a lot wrong, but they've gotten this
- 13:50Speaker 1: one right. They've nailed it.
- 13:52Speaker 2: I heard him comment that his joints are getting progressively
- 13:57Speaker 2: more stiff.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Yeah, he can't run.
- 13:59Speaker 2: Yeah, and he's also worried that as he gets more
- 14:03Speaker 2: excited or tense that it gets worse.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:05Speaker 2: So it will be, I imagine, nerve-wracking for him.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Yeah, it'll be nervous. He'll get emotional. But I think
- 14:12Speaker 1: that's what everyone is going to go watch.
- 14:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:15Speaker 1: I can't wait to see the numbers that are tuning
- 14:17Speaker 1: in to watch that game. I really can't wait for that.
- 14:22Speaker 3: I just think it's so classy. Like I said, for
- 14:28Speaker 3: a game that gets it, not a lot wrong, sorry.
- 14:30Speaker 1: I'll take that back.
- 14:31Speaker 3: But they get some of these things wrong at times.
- 14:36Speaker 1: I think this is really going to be one of
- 14:39Speaker 1: those moments where we remember it forever. I can't wait
- 14:44Speaker 1: to see that.
- 14:45Speaker 2: It's an interesting one for Titans because Titans, as we
- 14:48Speaker 2: were saying, they haven't got anything to play for. Their
- 14:50Speaker 2: season's done. But it's their last home game. And it's
- 14:55Speaker 2: going to be interesting. It's almost like there's so much
- 15:01Speaker 2: for the Rabbits to play for, especially with Jai. It's
- 15:04Speaker 2: going to be hard for the Titans to actually get
- 15:06Speaker 2: up for a good game.
- 15:07Speaker 1: Oh, no, they will because a lot of his best
- 15:09Speaker 1: mates are in that team.
- 15:11Speaker 2: Because Jai played for the Titans too, yeah.
- 15:13Speaker 1: He was at the Titans for, I don't know how
- 15:15Speaker 1: many years, three or four.
- 15:16Speaker 2: Yeah, okay.
- 15:18Speaker 1: Yeah, he actually has a lot of great family, friends
- 15:22Speaker 1: in that team.
- 15:23Speaker 3: And I think when this happens, you do see the
- 15:28Speaker 3: game for a moment in time, just it's all about
- 15:32Speaker 3: the person and the moment and what we're here for.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:37Speaker 3: So I think at the start of the game, you
- 15:38Speaker 3: will see, you know, them– allow the Rabbitohs, but the NRL, or.
- 15:44Speaker 1: Just Jai to have his moment. Yeah.
- 15:47Speaker 3: And I think it's going to be really cool to
- 15:50Speaker 3: see that.
- 15:50Speaker 1: And they'll do it well. I've got no doubt the
- 15:53Speaker 1: Titans will do it well. I know the Rabbitohs will
- 15:55Speaker 1: do it well.
- 15:56Speaker 3: And, yeah, I think everyone, for stuff like this, yeah,
- 16:02Speaker 3: you do see the game come together. And I understand
- 16:06Speaker 3: what you're saying, but I just think, yeah, it's definitely
- 16:08Speaker 3: above all this, you know, what he's going through and
- 16:13Speaker 3: what happens after. Coming off the back of this, you know,
- 16:18Speaker 3: for next week, 100 games for South, there's just more,
- 16:21Speaker 3: it's just so much more importance on that and for him. And, yeah,
- 16:26Speaker 3: I think it'll be really nice to see it at
- 16:28Speaker 3: the start. But then, look, don't get me wrong, it'll
- 16:31Speaker 3: just go straight back to being a battle.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Once the game starts.
- 16:34Speaker 1: 100%. Yeah. And that's what we're good at doing. Yeah.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Just be able to compartmentalise and just turn that off.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Yeah, just get straight back into it.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Yep. Um, okay. Very different circumstance, obviously with Jai, but, um,
- 16:46Speaker 2: the Broncos, and we spoke about this in the bonus
- 16:50Speaker 2: round of the podcast, but Broncos have an opportunity to
- 16:54Speaker 2: do a special farewell for, um, your little mate and
- 16:57Speaker 2: our captain, um, in Reno. And now, you know, why,
- 17:02Speaker 2: why we can't do the same type of thing and have,
- 17:05Speaker 2: and have Reno just come on for five minutes, one minute.
- 17:08Speaker 2: And just have a final time where he gets to
- 17:10Speaker 2: suit up for the Broncos, be there.
- 17:14Speaker 1: I guess for me, it's just the different circumstances. Right.
- 17:20Speaker 1: You know, Rano's retiring, you know, and it's just very different.
- 17:26Speaker 1: And we all know why.
- 17:27Speaker 3: But that's why I'd like to see what I suggested
- 17:32Speaker 3: in the bonus round was to honestly give him something
- 17:36Speaker 3: at the start.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Yeah. When the crowd's there. the anticipation, the hype. And
- 17:42Speaker 1: I just think it'd be so cool. It's never been done.
- 17:45Speaker 3: I don't think I remember seeing a game that has,
- 17:48Speaker 3: at the start of a game, had something like this
- 17:50Speaker 3: where it's a presentation, kind of not really a presentation,
- 17:53Speaker 3: maybe just, you know, we do the walk.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:57Speaker 3: I don't know if he'll be able to sit on
- 17:59Speaker 3: back or whatever, but something where he ends up in
- 18:03Speaker 3: the back, back in the middle of the pitch and, and.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Be on show for everyone to cheer and congratulate and
- 18:11Speaker 1: celebrate his career. I think that'd be really cool. I
- 18:14Speaker 1: think that would, honestly, I think about now, I get
- 18:17Speaker 1: a bit of, like, some goosebumps. I'm like, I would
- 18:20Speaker 1: have loved that.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Actually, and it would lift the team too.
- 18:22Speaker 1: It would be massive.
- 18:23Speaker 2: If he's out there at the start.
- 18:24Speaker 1: It'd be huge.
- 18:25Speaker 2: Where do you think he will sit for the game?
- 18:27Speaker 2: Will he be up in that box with Madge?
- 18:29Speaker 1: Maybe he might sit with his family. Yeah. He's got
- 18:32Speaker 1: a lot of family here.
- 18:33Speaker 3: So, A lot of friends, so I reckon he might
- 18:36Speaker 3: go sit with them and watch the game with them.
- 18:41Speaker 1: And where that'll be, I don't know. It's just interesting.
- 18:46Speaker 2: I know that they've made the decision on it, but
- 18:50Speaker 2: don't you reckon it'd be great if they could just
- 18:51Speaker 2: backflip on it and just go, listen, we made a mistake.
- 18:54Speaker 2: We should have put him in the team. We changed
- 18:56Speaker 2: our minds. We see that the fans want this. Renault
- 19:00Speaker 2: wants it. Everyone wants it except for whoever made that decision.
- 19:04Speaker 2: And they probably made it without perhaps thinking about everything.
- 19:07Speaker 2: It's not too late to actually change your mind and go,
- 19:10Speaker 2: let's get one of our favorite players, this person who's
- 19:14Speaker 2: been a wonderful servant for the Broncos, give him this moment,
- 19:17Speaker 2: let him come on for five minutes. We made a mistake.
- 19:20Speaker 2: We made the wrong call. We're switching it. I know
- 19:24Speaker 2: you can't comment on that because you're still with the Bronx,
- 19:26Speaker 2: but don't, yeah, that's what I would like. And so
- 19:29Speaker 2: let me ask you as a Broncos fan, Broncos, please,
- 19:31Speaker 2: let him play. Just let him play. Let him come
- 19:33Speaker 2: out one last time. He deserves it, and we deserve
- 19:36Speaker 2: it as fans to be able to say thank you. Okay,
- 19:39Speaker 2: so back to the round. So we both like the
- 19:43Speaker 2: Rabbits for that one, Titans-Rabbits. Yep.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Titans-Rabbits, yeah. I think it'll be fiery. Yeah. Because of
- 19:50Speaker 1: the occasion.
- 19:50Speaker 2: It'll be a good game.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Play for both teams.
- 19:51Speaker 3: And I think the start of the game will be
- 19:53Speaker 3: exactly what everyone wants.
- 19:56Speaker 2: And then I reckon probably game of the round is
- 19:58Speaker 2: this next game on Saturday.
- 19:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Roosters-Dolphins. So this is third versus fourth.
- 20:05Speaker 1: It's a tough game. Yeah. I don't know if the– oh,
- 20:09Speaker 1: it's hard. The Roosters really bothered me last week, but
- 20:11Speaker 1: they had a few players out, you know, which is
- 20:14Speaker 1: maybe something you could go with, but they played horrible.
- 20:16Speaker 2: This would be a good test for the Dolphins because
- 20:18Speaker 2: they've had some sort of ordinary wins.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Yeah, they have.
- 20:21Speaker 2: They've had some wins, but they haven't.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Little blowout wins. They let too many in, but– Yeah.
- 20:27Speaker 3: I've gone Roosters purely because the way they've played all year,
- 20:32Speaker 3: I'm just hoping that was a hiccup last week.
- 20:35Speaker 1: Yeah. Uh, the dolphins, look, they, if they win this,
- 20:41Speaker 1: they give themselves a home semi. Yeah.
- 20:44Speaker 3: So that's the importance of the dolphins, but the roosters
- 20:46Speaker 3: win this day. You know, they got to keep, if
- 20:50Speaker 3: Panthers win, the roosters will need to win to stay
- 20:53Speaker 3: in the hunt for that one too.
- 20:54Speaker 2: What about mindset for the dolphins? If the dolphins win
- 20:56Speaker 2: this one, what does that change for them coming into
- 20:58Speaker 2: the finals then?
- 20:59Speaker 1: Well, you get a home semi.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:01Speaker 1: So like a home finals first, first week, massive. Yeah.
- 21:04Speaker 1: Massive difference.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Well, that's good for, like, that means Suncorp Stadium will
- 21:07Speaker 2: be full.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Packed.
- 21:08Speaker 2: Awesome.
- 21:08Speaker 3: Yeah, it'd be great for the game. But they're both
- 21:12Speaker 3: playing for a really good reason. Roosters are playing to
- 21:16Speaker 3: stay in touch with that 1-2, and then you get
- 21:18Speaker 3: two chances at home.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:21Speaker 1: You get two home games, definitely. So that's big in itself.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Dolphins have won their last five.
- 21:26Speaker 1: No, I know.
- 21:27Speaker 2: No, I know. They haven't always won them well.
- 21:29Speaker 1: They're on a run, yeah.
- 21:29Speaker 2: Far out, they're on a run.
- 21:30Speaker 1: But you can't give the Dolphins a start. I mean,
- 21:33Speaker 1: the Roosters... It's not like, you know, the Roosters don't
- 21:38Speaker 1: let teams come back often. If ever, really. Yeah.
- 21:43Speaker 3: I'm going to the Roosters just because I just think
- 21:48Speaker 3: too much class.
- 21:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:49Speaker 3: As in just the club and the coach and he knows.
- 21:55Speaker 3: So does the Dolphins coach and the players, but not
- 21:59Speaker 3: as well.
- 21:59Speaker 1: As the Roosters. They've been there a long time. Yeah.
- 22:03Speaker 1: And many a time. So.
- 22:05Speaker 3: For that reason, I reckon they'll win it. I'm not
- 22:08Speaker 3: going to say it's a blowout. I think it'll be
- 22:10Speaker 3: a close game of footy.
- 22:11Speaker 1: I think you're right. It could be the game of
- 22:13Speaker 1: the round. Yeah.
- 22:14Speaker 2: I'm going to go Dolphins. I think it's an upset.
- 22:16Speaker 2: I'll go Dolphins.
- 22:17Speaker 1: It's a hard game, if I'm honest, to pick.
- 22:20Speaker 2: And then the Cowboys are still alive. They're eighth.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:23Speaker 2: And so they need this. They're taking on the Tigers,
- 22:26Speaker 2: the West Tigers. I don't know.
- 22:29Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 22:32Speaker 3: I just think the Tigers would probably annoy everyone and
- 22:35Speaker 3: just win the last two games.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Just to be annoying.
- 22:39Speaker 1: Just to be annoying.
- 22:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:40Speaker 1: They always do. And then probably come ninth. I don't know. Yeah.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Like 10th or something. But yeah, they won. Yep. You know. Yeah.
- 22:49Speaker 2: I know. Out of nowhere. Yep.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Yeah. And they got a few players back. I think
- 22:53Speaker 1: Tarouva's back. You know.
- 22:56Speaker 2: Dewey's still out, I think.
- 22:57Speaker 1: And an inclusion of anyone is always a bonus for
- 22:59Speaker 1: a team.
- 23:00Speaker 2: Yep.
- 23:01Speaker 1: Yeah, I've gone the Tigers. Now, not because I want
- 23:03Speaker 1: to see the Cowboys make the finals. I really do. Yeah.
- 23:06Speaker 1: I need a catcher.
- 23:07Speaker 2: Okay.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Because I know you're going to go the Cowboys.
- 23:10Speaker 2: I'm definitely going the Cowboys on that one.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Yep.
- 23:12Speaker 2: And Sammy's taking the West Tigers because he's away. All right.
- 23:17Speaker 2: So on to Sunday, another cracking game. This is a
- 23:19Speaker 2: Warriors home game against the Knights. Warriors should put the
- 23:24Speaker 2: Knights away, I think. So I'll tip the Warriors.
- 23:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:26Speaker 2: What are your thoughts?
- 23:29Speaker 1: This is the Knights' last game. They've got to buy
- 23:32Speaker 1: next week.
- 23:32Speaker 2: They've got to buy, right.
- 23:34Speaker 1: Okay.
- 23:34Speaker 2: Is that good coming into the finals?
- 23:36Speaker 1: Well, yeah. Yeah?
- 23:38Speaker 2: Like you don't want to have a role on and
- 23:40Speaker 2: keep playing?
- 23:40Speaker 1: Well, you do, but if you win.
- 23:43Speaker 2: Yeah, so it's really important they win this.
- 23:46Speaker 1: Yeah, they win, it's better.
- 23:47Speaker 2: Yeah, okay.
- 23:48Speaker 1: If they win, like they go to 34, 36, they
- 23:50Speaker 1: go to 36. Because they're sixth right now. So they're
- 23:53Speaker 1: on 32 points. So they win.
- 23:58Speaker 3: And then they get the bye at 36 points.
- 24:00Speaker 1: Dolphins lose the last two. Four and against. Oh, no,
- 24:03Speaker 1: four and against is pretty bad.
- 24:05Speaker 2: Yeah, they had a bad start, the Knights, didn't they?
- 24:06Speaker 1: Well, okay, they win this game.
- 24:08Speaker 3: They're certain to get a home final. They lose it,
- 24:13Speaker 3: then they get the bye. They just got to bank on,
- 24:16Speaker 3: I guess, South losing two. But you don't want to
- 24:19Speaker 3: rely on other teams.
- 24:20Speaker 1: That's the important of this game. It's a hard game.
- 24:23Speaker 1: I think the Warriors will win because they win this.
- 24:26Speaker 2: Yeah, well, they've won their last four, so this is
- 24:29Speaker 2: for five in a row.
- 24:30Speaker 1: They win, Panthers lose. They win. What's their front against? Oh,
- 24:33Speaker 1: they're so close. Holy. Look, this is how much I
- 24:37Speaker 1: do know. The difference in the front against, 295 to 294.
- 24:40Speaker 3: First and second.
- 24:44Speaker 2: Oh, wow.
- 24:45Speaker 1: That is insane. Holy. They're both on 38 points.
- 24:49Speaker 2: Who's in front by one?
- 24:50Speaker 1: Warriors.
- 24:51Speaker 2: Warriors.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Wow.
- 24:52Speaker 2: Okay.
- 24:53Speaker 1: Okay. Yeah, I'm going Warriors. For that reason, I'm going Warriors.
- 24:57Speaker 2: I think the Warriors, yeah.
- 24:58Speaker 3: I think the Knights, they're my dark horse this year.
- 25:04Speaker 2: Yep.
- 25:05Speaker 1: They really are.
- 25:06Speaker 2: And then the last game of the round is the
- 25:07Speaker 2: Eels taking on the Sharks. Again, the Sharks got plenty
- 25:10Speaker 2: to play for. The Sharks are fifth.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Up, Parra.
- 25:13Speaker 2: Parra.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Come on, Parra. Sharks... You don't like it, obviously. What?
- 25:18Speaker 2: The Sharks bother me.
- 25:20Speaker 1: That's why I'm going para.
- 25:22Speaker 2: They do this every year.
- 25:23Speaker 1: Is Trindle back?
- 25:25Speaker 2: They seem to be playing.
- 25:25Speaker 1: If Trindle's not back, I'm definitely para. I'm para either way.
- 25:28Speaker 1: If Trindle ain't back, I'm para all over.
- 25:30Speaker 2: Yeah, they seem to be going well and then they
- 25:32Speaker 2: just fall off at this time of the year. Why?
- 25:37Speaker 2: No Trindle.
- 25:39Speaker 1: None?
- 25:39Speaker 2: No, Peru is playing 5-8. Mate, let me teach you
- 25:41Speaker 2: how to do this.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Go up and then go... Teams.
- 25:47Speaker 2: Oh, that's handy.
- 25:48Speaker 1: You don't have to scroll through the try list.
- 25:51Speaker 3: Scroll through the try score list to find out who's playing.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Well, I mean, it's taken 25, 26 rounds for you
- 25:59Speaker 2: to help me.
- 26:00Speaker 1: I never knew they did that. I didn't sit next
- 26:02Speaker 1: to you.
- 26:02Speaker 2: Do you know anything about Peru? He's the bloke who's
- 26:04Speaker 2: playing in their- Peru.
- 26:06Speaker 1: It's not in Australia.
- 26:06Speaker 2: He's playing halfback for them.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Peru, it's not in Australia, is it?
- 26:09Speaker 2: It's not Peru.
- 26:10Speaker 1: No, Peru. Peru.
- 26:12Speaker 3: Mate, I don't know much about players that have played
- 26:15Speaker 3: for five years by the sound of it.
- 26:16Speaker 1: So how am I going to know?
- 26:18Speaker 2: No, you're not going to know anything about him. Yeah,
- 26:19Speaker 2: but he's a youngster.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Is he? Yeah. He must be good.
- 26:22Speaker 2: He's paying five bucks for an anytime try. I know that.
- 26:24Speaker 1: That's not bad. Yeah.
- 26:25Speaker 2: In 5.8 for the Sharks.
- 26:27Speaker 1: I'm not going to lie. The way they play running game,
- 26:29Speaker 1: he must have a good running game. Yep. Chance. Yeah.
- 26:32Speaker 1: He's a chance.
- 26:33Speaker 2: Him and Nico. So the only thing I don't like
- 26:35Speaker 2: about is when, as a fan, it looks like when
- 26:39Speaker 2: Nico Hines has to take the reins- He's not comfortable.
- 26:43Speaker 2: He doesn't sit well with it.
- 26:44Speaker 1: No, that's why Trindle's good.
- 26:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:45Speaker 1: That's why Trindle is just the perfect match for him
- 26:47Speaker 1: because I don't think Trindle feels pressure. No, he's... Takes
- 26:50Speaker 1: the game.
- 26:51Speaker 2: Iron, isn't he?
- 26:52Speaker 1: Yep. Takes the ball by the horns, you know, they say. Yep.
- 26:55Speaker 1: And just... Yep. Just steers that thing.
- 26:58Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:59Speaker 1: Or the captain of a ship. Yeah.
- 27:01Speaker 2: Just steer it. It's the same motion as the two horns.
- 27:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:05Speaker 2: It's the steering wheel.
- 27:06Speaker 1: It's not the Titanic. It's a different ship, this one.
- 27:09Speaker 1: One that made it, man.
- 27:11Speaker 2: Speaking of things that are sinking, let's wrap this up.
- 27:12Speaker 1: Let's wrap her up. The multi.
- 27:14Speaker 2: Okay, the multi. All right, so.
- 27:16Speaker 1: You know what?
- 27:17Speaker 2: I'm going to get on Puru.
- 27:18Speaker 1: No, last rant. No, man. Last game. No?
- 27:22Speaker 2: Okay.
- 27:22Speaker 1: No, that's a slip. I'm sick of this.
- 27:24Speaker 2: Sammy, what he did.
- 27:24Speaker 1: It's a slip. I was on the weekend. Oh, yeah.
- 27:27Speaker 1: But it's a slip. I don't follow him on Sportsbet.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Who does that?
- 27:32Speaker 2: So Sammy sent us, yeah.
- 27:33Speaker 1: It's his first one all year.
- 27:35Speaker 2: He sent us his, like, this is what I did.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Yeah, I did this. And don't tell me it's a slip. Well,
- 27:40Speaker 1: that's what a slip is when you tell us after
- 27:41Speaker 1: you've won.
- 27:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:43Speaker 1: The whole point of a slip, mate, you meant to
- 27:45Speaker 1: tell us before.
- 27:46Speaker 2: Give us the tip.
- 27:47Speaker 1: A tip. Yeah.
- 27:48Speaker 2: No, he gave us nothing.
- 27:49Speaker 1: You can't be doing that.
- 27:50Speaker 2: All right, so you don't like Puru?
- 27:51Speaker 1: No, I don't like Puru.
- 27:52Speaker 3: I like Puru, but if we win, if we have multi-wins,
- 27:55Speaker 3: the one earlier in the week, we'll put it all
- 27:59Speaker 3: on Puru.
- 27:59Speaker 2: Okay, I'll put it on a separate one.
- 28:01Speaker 1: How's that?
- 28:02Speaker 2: All right, so one anytime try scorer each, and we'll
- 28:04Speaker 2: get Bruce to choose for Sammy.
- 28:06Speaker 1: No, it'll be some stupid Janko, Milky for four.
- 28:10Speaker 2: It can't be Milky Jenkins for four. I'm going to, ooh, okay.
- 28:17Speaker 2: Big time player. Big time game for the Cowboys. I'm
- 28:20Speaker 2: going to get on Nanai. Nanai to score.
- 28:23Speaker 1: That's a big call.
- 28:26Speaker 2: He's paying a few bucks too. $ 2. 55 for Nanai.
- 28:30Speaker 3: I'm going to say something right now that none of
- 28:31Speaker 3: you would have thought of, but that game could be
- 28:33Speaker 3: a blowout or a low scoring game.
- 28:36Speaker 2: Cowboys vs.
- 28:37Speaker 1: Tigers.
- 28:38Speaker 2: That's terrific.
- 28:43Speaker 1: Sammy would have said that. Well, thanks Captain Obvious.
- 28:50Speaker 2: So if it's 12 all, you're wrong.
- 28:52Speaker 1: I'm right.
- 28:52Speaker 2: Is that right?
- 28:53Speaker 1: No, I'm right. 12 all is low scoring. Is it?
- 28:56Speaker 1: If it's like 24-20, it's not really.
- 28:58Speaker 2: Okay, somewhere in between.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Sorry.
- 29:00Speaker 2: Okay.
- 29:01Speaker 3: If it's between 16 and 20, then it's not.
- 29:03Speaker 1: But if it's over 20, it's a blowout.
- 29:04Speaker 2: Okay. There are your guidelines.
- 29:06Speaker 1: I always think more than three tries each team is
- 29:08Speaker 1: a blowout. Okay. Is that not right?
- 29:11Speaker 2: Well, I thought a blowout needed to be one team
- 29:13Speaker 2: getting way more tries than another.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Well, 42 and over is a blowout for the total score, yeah?
- 29:18Speaker 1: Would that be okay? Would that be right?
- 29:19Speaker 2: Well, yeah, but not if it's 42 all.
- 29:20Speaker 1: 42 all is a massive blowout.
- 29:25Speaker 2: No, it's not a blowout. A blowout is one team
- 29:27Speaker 2: blowing the other team out of the water.
- 29:29Speaker 1: Oh, well, I mean like just a massive scoring game.
- 29:32Speaker 1: That's a blowout for me. Boring, just end to end.
- 29:36Speaker 1: Great for multis.
- 29:37Speaker 2: Yeah, it is. Unless you get like... Ezra scoring three
- 29:40Speaker 2: tries I never put that in no um.
- 29:43Speaker 1: Okay um what have you got uh I'm gonna I
- 29:47Speaker 1: don't know I think the first two games are pretty
- 29:51Speaker 1: hard first three actually.
- 29:54Speaker 2: Yeah I reckon Panthers Bulldogs would be low scoring um Titans,
- 30:00Speaker 2: Rabbits could be some points in that.
- 30:02Speaker 1: I'm going to go Oluwatu.
- 30:03Speaker 2: Oluwatu?
- 30:04Speaker 1: And Manly.
- 30:04Speaker 2: So Manly, righto.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Two-bucker. All right.
- 30:07Speaker 2: And I'm on Nano. So a couple of second rowers.
- 30:09Speaker 1: That's, yeah. A lot of short balls this weekend.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Good numbers. Bostock.
- 30:13Speaker 1: Dolphins.
- 30:14Speaker 2: Bostock for the Dolphins.
- 30:15Speaker 1: Bostock. Yep. That's a standard Sammy bit.
- 30:18Speaker 2: It is. He didn't score last week.
- 30:21Speaker 1: I know. What's he playing? He's paying three bucks.
- 30:23Speaker 2: He's in the center.
- 30:24Speaker 1: Whoa. Yeah. Jesus.
- 30:27Speaker 2: I'll tell you what, though. Jermaine Asako, gee, he's scoring
- 30:30Speaker 2: some points this year.
- 30:31Speaker 1: He's looking so good. Yeah, he hit 1,000 points, eh?
- 30:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:35Speaker 1: For a club.
- 30:36Speaker 2: Is that right?
- 30:36Speaker 1: Yeah, for a club. And it was like the second
- 30:38Speaker 1: or third quickest. Yeah.
- 30:40Speaker 2: He's just been incredible.
- 30:41Speaker 1: It's unreal.
- 30:41Speaker 2: Not just his kicking. I mean, his kicking is unreal.
- 30:44Speaker 3: The way they play those suits well, which is always important.
- 30:49Speaker 2: But he won't be a dolphin next year, will he?
- 30:50Speaker 1: No, he's going to Melbourne.
- 30:51Speaker 2: He's going to Melbourne. That's a good get for Melbourne,
- 30:53Speaker 2: isn't it?
- 30:54Speaker 1: Mm-hmm. No, really good.
- 30:56Speaker 2: Yeah. Oh, yeah. So, Renault's no chance. They won't change
- 31:05Speaker 2: the idea. Does that mean he's probably clocked off for
- 31:08Speaker 2: the year? Will he be at training or anything like that?
- 31:11Speaker 1: What's he doing now?
- 31:12Speaker 2: Should we call him? What's he doing now? Can we
- 31:14Speaker 2: call him and see what he's doing right now? Just
- 31:16Speaker 2: put him on speaker?
- 31:16Speaker 1: He's probably doing nothing. Do you want me to call him?
- 31:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:20Speaker 1: He won't answer. Well, let's just try. I hope he
- 31:22Speaker 1: doesn't answer.
- 31:22Speaker 2: And then we'll put him on speaker. I'm going to
- 31:24Speaker 2: see if he wants to come on next week.
- 31:25Speaker 1: He won't answer.
- 31:26Speaker 2: All right. That's a nice photo you got of him.
- 31:29Speaker 1: Yeah, he's blind.
- 31:31Speaker 2: He's on a flight?
- 31:33Speaker 1: That was at midday the next day.
- 31:34Speaker 2: On the bus or plane?
- 31:35Speaker 1: On the plane. On the plane. He's not well. The
- 31:40Speaker 1: call has been forwarded to voicemail. The person you're trying
- 31:43Speaker 1: to reach is not available. He let it go.
- 31:47Speaker 2: But you reckon he's not training? Would he already be?
- 31:50Speaker 1: No, he'd probably be training with big CJ, Corey Jensen.
- 31:54Speaker 1: In the mornings before everyone gets there.
- 31:56Speaker 2: What, just for fitness?
- 31:57Speaker 1: Yeah, just to stay fit.
- 31:58Speaker 2: Curls for the girls.
- 32:00Speaker 1: I don't think he'll be doing it to stay fit.
- 32:01Speaker 1: He'll probably just go in the sauna.
- 32:03Speaker 2: Just go to sauna.
- 32:04Speaker 1: Yeah. Straight into it. Shred. He'll be going to shred.
- 32:08Speaker 1: All right.
- 32:08Speaker 2: Well, best of luck, Reno. We would have loved to
- 32:11Speaker 2: have seen you and Jai Arrow, of course.
- 32:13Speaker 1: I really want that horse.
- 32:14Speaker 2: Can't wait to see Jai.
- 32:15Speaker 1: Yeah. I want that so bad. I think it's my
- 32:17Speaker 1: greatest idea ever.
- 32:19Speaker 2: All right.
- 32:19Speaker 1: Call Dave.
- 32:20Speaker 2: What about Dave?
- 32:21Speaker 1: I'm not going that far. I'm not with what's no chance, actually.
- 32:25Speaker 2: Well, Dave, if you won't let Renault play, at least
- 32:26Speaker 2: put him on buck.
- 32:28Speaker 3: Put him on the back of buck, walk him around,
- 32:30Speaker 3: stand in the middle of the pitch, and give him
- 32:34Speaker 3: the standing ovation that he deserves.
- 32:36Speaker 2: Agreed.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Look at that. I'm an ideas man. Corey looks like
- 32:40Speaker 1: Jim Miracle. I know.
- 32:41Speaker 2: What's with your hat?
- 32:42Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 32:42Speaker 2: You've got the cat in the hat.
- 32:43Speaker 1: It's over my throat. It's gone.
