- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, welcome in a very happy Wednesday to you.
- 0:03Speaker 1: Now once again a praise freeze zone for the best
- 0:06Speaker 1: betting show ever. I know, Art the Caesar is extremely
- 0:10Speaker 1: happy about that. But we do got a lot going
- 0:14Speaker 1: on here. Of course, we are going to talk more
- 0:18Speaker 1: NFL action. As I believe, Art, we have a game
- 0:21Speaker 1: tomorrow night, if you can believe that in the NFL,
- 0:25Speaker 1: and I do believe Carson Beck is going to be
- 0:28Speaker 1: your starting quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals in that one.
- 0:32Speaker 1: So we got a little lot to talk about in
- 0:35Speaker 1: the NFL. We got some awards markets. We're going to
- 0:38Speaker 1: talk about Major League Baseball in the predictive markets. We're
- 0:42Speaker 1: going to talk about some of those award markets as well.
- 0:46Speaker 1: I don't know if anybody even realizes that there's actually
- 0:49Speaker 1: a race for a triple crown winner this year, which
- 0:51Speaker 1: makes it interesting. We'll do the parlay of the day,
- 0:55Speaker 1: Art and I have another college football win total we're
- 0:59Speaker 1: going to give out, and of course we'll run through
- 1:02Speaker 1: the full slate of Major League Baseball. So Art, let's
- 1:06Speaker 1: kick it off here with exactly how did the books
- 1:10Speaker 1: do last night? Boy not Dodgers as a three dollar favorite,
- 1:14Speaker 1: huh oh boy.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Yeah, listen, that's always good. But you know, there was
- 1:19Speaker 2: a lot of favorites and a lot of popular favorites
- 1:21Speaker 2: who won last night. You throw the Yankees in there,
- 1:23Speaker 2: the Astros, the Brewers, the Padres, the Braves. So despite
- 1:28Speaker 2: the Dodgers, now, what is that five in a row?
- 1:31Speaker 2: Obviously Schoopl's first start, our favorites won, so I wouldn't
- 1:34Speaker 2: think it was a good night for the books.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm thinking it was not a very good night
- 1:40Speaker 1: for the books in any way, shape or form there.
- 1:42Speaker 1: But today is another day, and I'm wondering, art, how
- 1:48Speaker 1: many bets do you often get in the preseason aspect
- 1:52Speaker 1: of the NFL here, because they're like much like you know,
- 1:57Speaker 1: early like spring training baseball. Right, you're not going to
- 2:01Speaker 1: be able to get a whole lot down. But the
- 2:03Speaker 1: guys that bet it bet it every year, and they
- 2:06Speaker 1: seem to have figured it out. And some guys want
- 2:09Speaker 1: nothing to do with it. Other guys they absolutely love
- 2:13Speaker 1: NFL preseason football.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Joey, you hit it right on the head. First of all,
- 2:18Speaker 2: limits are going to be very small on those type
- 2:21Speaker 2: of markets. Some places might only give you a couple
- 2:23Speaker 2: hundred bucks, Some might take up to a dime, maybe
- 2:26Speaker 2: five hundred on a total, but you hit it. The
- 2:29Speaker 2: people who love it, they love it. You know, they
- 2:32Speaker 2: are in on kind of the quarterback rotations, listening to
- 2:36Speaker 2: what the coaches are going to say, and they really
- 2:38Speaker 2: build their betting strategy in the preseason off of that.
- 2:42Speaker 2: And you see, I mean not that it doesn't happen
- 2:44Speaker 2: in the regular season, but you see wild moves in
- 2:47Speaker 2: the preseason. You know, teams who are three point favorites
- 2:49Speaker 2: end up being four point dogs when it kicks off.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Totals move, you know, four, five, six points. So yeah,
- 2:56Speaker 2: I mean, it's definitely a niche market, but it's still
- 2:59Speaker 2: the NFL. The NFL is gonna get high ratings and
- 3:02Speaker 2: it's gonna get high volume of betting despite it being preseason.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Yeah, it's gotta love those that Jenna, but they seem
- 3:09Speaker 1: to they win on it, which is why they do
- 3:11Speaker 1: each and every year. There is a strategy to betting
- 3:14Speaker 1: preseason football. We'll get into that as we move along.
- 3:18Speaker 1: But how about the sharp bets here? Today? Do have
- 3:22Speaker 1: what four or five WNBA games a ton of Major
- 3:25Speaker 1: League Baseball, So what's going on with the sharp bets today?
- 3:29Speaker 2: Absolutely. Let's start in the WNBA. They laid five with
- 3:32Speaker 2: the Dream overnight, that's now six. They took over one
- 3:35Speaker 2: sixty five and a half in the Wings game, now
- 3:37Speaker 2: won sixty seven and a half. Three Major League Baseball
- 3:40Speaker 2: teams are on They're on the Angels, they're on the Reds,
- 3:43Speaker 2: and they're on the Red Sox.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Yeah. I had the Red Sox last night too. That
- 3:48Speaker 1: was like what we got from them last night. So
- 3:53Speaker 1: pretty sneaky good pitching matchup today too with Pittsburgh and Milwaukee.
- 3:57Speaker 1: We'll talk about that game coming up. As I believe
- 3:59Speaker 1: Kyle Garrison back now for Milwaukee. I think people forget
- 4:04Speaker 1: that he was one of the top favorites for the
- 4:09Speaker 1: cy Young in the National League earlier this year, Art,
- 4:13Speaker 1: when we were talking about him, and yeah, well he's
- 4:16Speaker 1: back now for Milwaukee, going up against Paul Skiing. So
- 4:20Speaker 1: that's going to be interesting, which means we probably got
- 4:23Speaker 1: to come up with at parlay of the day here, Art,
- 4:28Speaker 1: I'm thinking, when do we go one and one? Yesterday?
- 4:32Speaker 2: I know I lost, I had the twins.
- 4:34Speaker 1: I think we were one and one in that situation
- 4:37Speaker 1: there yesterday. I can't remember who the hell I had,
- 4:39Speaker 1: but I wasn't screaming and yelling that we lost, so
- 4:42Speaker 1: that was not a bad way. So let's make up
- 4:45Speaker 1: for an art. Let's sweep the board here tonight. What
- 4:48Speaker 1: is the game you're going to look at.
- 4:50Speaker 2: I'm going to look for the Guardians at home, the
- 4:52Speaker 2: bounce back against the Mets. It's a very fair price.
- 4:55Speaker 2: There's even some places the Mets are like slightly favored.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Give me the Guardians.
- 5:00Speaker 1: You're gonna go with the Guardians here to get it done?
- 5:04Speaker 1: I tell you, I mean at some point Dodgers are
- 5:06Speaker 1: gonna win again, right, I mean at some point, give
- 5:10Speaker 1: me the Dodgers at plus money. I don't know why
- 5:13Speaker 1: it is. They've won ten of lour starts. I don't
- 5:18Speaker 1: know why I called me crazy. He's the stopper of
- 5:20Speaker 1: the Dodgers. But I think the Dodgers get it done
- 5:23Speaker 1: against Immenaga here today. You're not often going to get
- 5:27Speaker 1: them at plus money. When you do, you might as well.
- 5:31Speaker 1: It's worth a little sprinkle there. Put them in a
- 5:34Speaker 1: two team parlay of the day. All right. We've got
- 5:38Speaker 1: some predictive markets here, and I love these markets because
- 5:43Speaker 1: we're getting to that time of year where August September Awards.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Time is coming, certainly in Major League Baseball, But I
- 5:51Speaker 1: don't know if a lot of people understand that. You know,
- 5:54Speaker 1: we've got a very rare feat going on right now
- 5:57Speaker 1: in the MLB. What you're Don Alva and the Astros,
- 6:01Speaker 1: who's having the season of all seasons. Are nobody's talking
- 6:05Speaker 1: about him? It's amazing, right, Judge goes down right, nobody's
- 6:08Speaker 1: talking about Judge. Otani's hurt. You can't pitch right now,
- 6:12Speaker 1: But all of a sudden, you're Don Alvarez is your
- 6:16Speaker 1: leader in batting average, RBIs and home runs and what
- 6:21Speaker 1: that would be? Something else? Because I can't remember the
- 6:24Speaker 1: last triple crown winner. When was the last triple Crown winner?
- 6:29Speaker 2: I think the last one might have been Cabrera.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Yes, I think you're right, yeah, Detroit.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Miguel when he was with the Tigers, you know, about
- 6:38Speaker 2: ten years ago.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Yep.
- 6:39Speaker 2: But you know you had mentioned Urons leading like all
- 6:43Speaker 2: of baseball in these categories and that type of triple crown.
- 6:47Speaker 2: I don't think it's happened since the fifties, Joe. I
- 6:49Speaker 2: don't think that's happened since Mantle in fifty six. No,
- 6:52Speaker 2: So someone has to in the comments. Yep, but you
- 6:56Speaker 2: know it's not just Hey, I'm the American League triple
- 6:58Speaker 2: crown winner. I'm the National League triple crown winner. I'm
- 7:01Speaker 2: the Major League triple crown winner. That is a rare
- 7:04Speaker 2: triple crown.
- 7:05Speaker 1: He is right now, You're Don Alvarez three twenty nine,
- 7:09Speaker 1: leading all of Major League Baseball in batting average. He
- 7:13Speaker 1: is thirty five home runs in. He's two more than
- 7:16Speaker 1: Kyle Schwarber and Hunter Goodman. There RBIs he is third
- 7:23Speaker 1: in Major League Baseball. CJ Abram south Stewart are just
- 7:27Speaker 1: one and two RBIs ahead of him right now, but
- 7:30Speaker 1: certainly in the American League he is your leader. But yeah,
- 7:35Speaker 1: so he's It's unbelievable here, which begs the question, let's
- 7:40Speaker 1: talk about what we've got going on here when it
- 7:44Speaker 1: comes to the baseball batting average where remember you know,
- 7:48Speaker 1: guys used to hit three hundred old time, meant that
- 7:50Speaker 1: they'd be in a Hall of Fame. Remember that. Yeah,
- 7:52Speaker 1: now guys can barely hit two forty and they're getting extensions,
- 7:56Speaker 1: which is just mind blowing to me. But Louis Ares
- 8:01Speaker 1: last night come through for Philadelphia in a big way.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Otto Lopez the young guy there with the Marlins continuing
- 8:10Speaker 1: to crush it in fact, but you're not I had
- 8:13Speaker 1: his thirty eight cents right now that he ends up
- 8:16Speaker 1: with the best batting average in Major League Baseball again
- 8:20Speaker 1: currently three twenty nine, Louis ares Is three twenty five,
- 8:23Speaker 1: Otto Lopez three twenty three. Here, what do you think
- 8:28Speaker 1: you like his chances of leading it with the batting average.
- 8:33Speaker 2: I mean, obviously he's got a great chance. I mean,
- 8:35Speaker 2: of course too down the stretch up probably get walked
- 8:37Speaker 2: even more, and he's been getting walked. I think when
- 8:41Speaker 2: you throw a reason into that Philly lineup, they're not
- 8:43Speaker 2: gonna be able to pitch around him. There are some
- 8:44Speaker 2: guys in that Philly lineup. I mean, what did he
- 8:47Speaker 2: hit fourth yesterday? So he's gonna be kind of in
- 8:49Speaker 2: the thick of that lineup where you don't want to
- 8:51Speaker 2: put him on base. I think he'll get some pitches
- 8:53Speaker 2: to hit. He's got the pedigree because I believe he's
- 8:56Speaker 2: won three batting titles. See, you almost have to lean
- 8:59Speaker 2: towards a eye there, But I think it'd be fun
- 9:01Speaker 2: to Seeavres win the Major League Triple crown. I think
- 9:04Speaker 2: that'd be awesome.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Yeah, and I wouldn't listen. I wouldn't sleep on Lopez
- 9:08Speaker 1: A good from Miami either too. He has been steady
- 9:11Speaker 1: Eddie here and listen Miami. They're still in the thick
- 9:15Speaker 1: of it obviously. Philadelphia is the Astros very much alive,
- 9:19Speaker 1: trying to win a very winnable American League West there.
- 9:24Speaker 1: So I think it's a fascinating market, and I think, yeah,
- 9:28Speaker 1: I'm rooting for it, but those three guys are it's
- 9:32Speaker 1: gonna be neck and neck down me right down to
- 9:36Speaker 1: the last day. I really have a feeling of that.
- 9:39Speaker 1: And then you got to go, all right, RBI. So
- 9:41Speaker 1: he's not the leading RBI getter right now, but that
- 9:45Speaker 1: hasn't stopped the market from Look at this, I mean
- 9:49Speaker 1: there he is thirty one cents to have the most
- 9:51Speaker 1: RB eyes now he's only two behind right now. And
- 9:55Speaker 1: I believe South Stewart is up at the top there
- 9:58Speaker 1: with eighty six ribs. CJ Abrams eighty five right now.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Or the Woods just went on the IL I believe,
- 10:07Speaker 1: so gonna be interesting. Ben Rice is on that list.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Jordan Walker Walker has eighty one RBIs call me crazy here,
- 10:18Speaker 1: but yeah, I like or you're Don for that. How
- 10:21Speaker 1: many times are gonna walk here? Don? That's the other problem. Yeah,
- 10:23Speaker 1: they got He's got a lot of protection in that
- 10:26Speaker 1: Astros lineup.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Yeah, this would be the market I would think more.
- 10:30Speaker 2: I feel confident in him winning because listen, South Start's
- 10:34Speaker 2: having a great areas of rookie though. I mean, it
- 10:36Speaker 2: was the last time the rookie led Major League Baseball
- 10:38Speaker 2: and RBIs it seems crazy to think that would happen.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Abrams now will get hurt because Wood's out, Walker's falling
- 10:46Speaker 2: off a cliff here. Jordan is the big stick in
- 10:49Speaker 2: that lineup, and if they're gonna win that AL West
- 10:51Speaker 2: or maybe make the last wild card, it's gonna be
- 10:53Speaker 2: him who's driving these runs in him only being a
- 10:55Speaker 2: couple behind. To me, it's short on who will win
- 10:58Speaker 2: the RBI title.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Yeah, I kind of like it, man. I mean, call
- 11:01Speaker 1: me crazy here. I think he has got to deliver
- 11:05Speaker 1: for that team if they're going to make a shot
- 11:08Speaker 1: at that American League West title, and I think he
- 11:10Speaker 1: will in a big, big way. I think the batting
- 11:13Speaker 1: average is the one that is it is going to
- 11:16Speaker 1: be the hardest for him to maintain and win because
- 11:18Speaker 1: Louis reason. Like you said, Otto Lope, these are true
- 11:21Speaker 1: leadoff guys. These are guys that are going to get
- 11:24Speaker 1: four and five at bats a game. You know your
- 11:26Speaker 1: don might get walked a lot more as we get
- 11:30Speaker 1: as we get towards those September games. Here, but two
- 11:33Speaker 1: fascinating markets there in the prediction that yeah, I'm rooting
- 11:38Speaker 1: for you or not. I mean, it could and you
- 11:40Speaker 1: don't read about it, which is amazing to me that
- 11:43Speaker 1: this guy's having a kind of season and most people
- 11:45Speaker 1: don't even realize that he's up for a possible triple
- 11:48Speaker 1: Crown winner, which to me is just ridiculous. And you're right,
- 11:53Speaker 1: Cabrera was the last one to get it done, and
- 11:56Speaker 1: he reminds me a little bit of Cabra. I think
- 11:58Speaker 1: it was. I don't even think he was playing the field.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Was he a DH twenty won it last time?
- 12:03Speaker 2: That's a great question. I don't remember, honestly, jefh. I
- 12:06Speaker 2: had to guess, I'd say.
- 12:07Speaker 1: Yes, I think he was.
- 12:08Speaker 2: He was.
- 12:08Speaker 1: I think he was. I don't think he was a
- 12:10Speaker 1: third with Detroit. I think he was.
- 12:13Speaker 2: I don't think so.
- 12:13Speaker 1: I think he was dhing too, which go figure, maybe
- 12:16Speaker 1: there's something to be said for that. All right, we
- 12:19Speaker 1: do have some NFL action that we're gonna get to,
- 12:22Speaker 1: and of course we got to take a look at
- 12:25Speaker 1: present a leotard. Everyone loves that. So time for some
- 12:29Speaker 1: business here today. Major League Baseball best bet up locked

- 12:42Speaker 1: he he won again last night, So hop on over there, guys,

- 12:53Speaker 1: the rest of Major League Baseball as well as college
- 12:56Speaker 1: football slash NFL. They are available, and now is the
- 13:00Speaker 1: time to go take advantage of it. Week zero three
- 13:03Speaker 1: and a half weeks away if you can believe that,
- 13:06Speaker 1: so it'll be here before you know it. Head on
- 13:09Speaker 1: over right now. Go check out PRES's best bet. Go
- 13:12Speaker 1: check I got a free play up as well at
- 13:14Speaker 1: wager talk dot com. Go check that out. And let's
- 13:19Speaker 1: this home stretch here. I mean, just about fifty games
- 13:21Speaker 1: remain in the season. Here are plenty going on with
- 13:26Speaker 1: Major League Baseball, a lot still to be decided, with
- 13:29Speaker 1: a whole lot of mediocre players. Let's talk some NFL here, art,
- 13:34Speaker 1: because I gotta tell you we went through all the divisions, right,
- 13:39Speaker 1: we did all of that. Now let's talk a little
- 13:42Speaker 1: bit about the awards market, and let's start first and
- 13:45Speaker 1: foremost with the coach of the year. Who is going
- 13:50Speaker 1: to be the coach of the year? Right? I think
- 13:52Speaker 1: Vrabel won it last year and that was mostly because
- 13:57Speaker 1: they were what four and thirteen I think the year prior.
- 14:01Speaker 1: What a dis answer that was. They were fourteen and
- 14:03Speaker 1: three last year. That was his first season as the
- 14:07Speaker 1: head coach for the New England Patriots. I think Kevin
- 14:10Speaker 1: O'Connell won it the year prior. He went from seven
- 14:14Speaker 1: to ten to fourteen and three, and he did that
- 14:17Speaker 1: with Sam Darnold. Don't forget Minnesota there. Stefanski has won
- 14:21Speaker 1: it twice I think twenty twenty and twenty twenty three.
- 14:25Speaker 1: But when you're only winning two games, I mean, you
- 14:29Speaker 1: can double triple that win and you'll look great there.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Even Dable when he replaced Joe Judge, ended up winning
- 14:36Speaker 1: a Coach of the Year. So who would you look
- 14:39Speaker 1: at this year? Who do you think is in the
- 14:41Speaker 1: ten new coaches now throughout the NFL on the sideline?
- 14:46Speaker 1: So who would you look at for a possible Coach
- 14:48Speaker 1: of the Year candidate.
- 14:50Speaker 2: Well, two guys who kind of fit the profile of
- 14:52Speaker 2: teams who have losing records, didn't make the playoffs and
- 14:55Speaker 2: possibly can win their divisions this year and make the playoffs.
- 14:58Speaker 2: One would be and he's a little bit higher on
- 15:00Speaker 2: the board. He's maybe in the top you know, five
- 15:02Speaker 2: or six guys odds wise, but a Kellen Moore for
- 15:04Speaker 2: the Saints who's about twelve to one. And then looking
- 15:07Speaker 2: even further down the board, maybe at Dan Campbell they
- 15:09Speaker 2: go out and win that really tough NFC North twenty
- 15:12Speaker 2: five to one. Those are the two I've kind of
- 15:14Speaker 2: had my eye on.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Is it just crazy anythink Harball gets it done with
- 15:20Speaker 1: the Giants? I mean, I don't know, you're the Giant guy,
- 15:23Speaker 1: I mean, is it?
- 15:25Speaker 2: Yeah? I mean five to one? Though, you know, I
- 15:28Speaker 2: want to maybe look for a little bit more, but yeah, I.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Mean I know you're right though.
- 15:32Speaker 2: If the Giants win nine games, he's going to be
- 15:35Speaker 2: the coach of the Year.
- 15:37Speaker 1: There's no way Andy Reid would ever win it, right,
- 15:40Speaker 1: There's no right. It's just that's not fair. That would yeah,
- 15:44Speaker 1: that would not happen. And listen, there's going to be
- 15:47Speaker 1: that one surprise team could be Cincinnati, you know, if
- 15:52Speaker 1: they end up you know, making a run there and
- 15:55Speaker 1: keeping everybody healthy. I think there are some opportunities, but boy,
- 15:59Speaker 1: it feels like they'll just love to give it to
- 16:01Speaker 1: Harbor though. Just have a good season. How many games
- 16:04Speaker 1: did the Giants win last year?
- 16:07Speaker 2: I want to say, anyone four.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Wins eight? If he doubles his win total.
- 16:14Speaker 2: Said, that's the profile, right, you double your wind Tonal.
- 16:16Speaker 1: My goodness, I think that's going to be extremely interesting.
- 16:20Speaker 1: What about rookies, the rookie of the year here, Art,
- 16:25Speaker 1: there are some guys that are going to be very
- 16:27Speaker 1: interesting this year. We got a running back now at Arizona.
- 16:32Speaker 1: We got a quarterback now with your Raiders. I think
- 16:36Speaker 1: the defensive player rookie of the year is going to
- 16:38Speaker 1: be an impossible one. But what do you think of
- 16:41Speaker 1: this this rookie class here? Because Jeremiah love Fernando Mendoza.
- 16:49Speaker 1: You got Carnel Tate, right, I believe Jordan Tyson receiver wise?
- 16:56Speaker 1: What is that Lemon there with the Eagles replacing AJ Brown?
- 17:00Speaker 1: I don't know what are you thinking here?
- 17:02Speaker 2: Art? Yeah, I mean obviously love him. Mendos are getting
- 17:05Speaker 2: all the pub and then all those top receivers, and
- 17:08Speaker 2: I don't even hate Lemon. You know, at twelve or
- 17:09Speaker 2: fourteen to one, he'll be the second guy there. He'll
- 17:12Speaker 2: probably get a lot of opportunities to make some place.
- 17:15Speaker 2: But I go a little bit further down the board
- 17:17Speaker 2: and it's actually that Washington team. We talked about their
- 17:20Speaker 2: receiver Williams from Clemson thirty to one. I mean, someone's
- 17:23Speaker 2: got to be the second target, right, Someone's got to
- 17:26Speaker 2: be behind McLaurin. Maybe he even overtakes McLaurin at some
- 17:30Speaker 2: point in the year and is Daniel's number one target.
- 17:33Speaker 2: So I look there, I look Williams at thirty to
- 17:35Speaker 2: one wide receiver for Washington.
- 17:38Speaker 1: I don't hate that. I mean I think Carnel Tait
- 17:41Speaker 1: and Jordan Tyson are going to be two very interesting
- 17:45Speaker 1: picks this year. Cornel Tait, of course the fourth pick
- 17:48Speaker 1: going to the Titans. He is going to be their
- 17:51Speaker 1: number one. Jordan Tyson with New Orleans because we did
- 17:55Speaker 1: learn right despite the extension a lave right, I think
- 17:59Speaker 1: he's ill hurt. They're gonna need some help there, but
- 18:03Speaker 1: you know it's good to me. It's also the Titans
- 18:07Speaker 1: have Gable as the offensive coordinators. They're gonna throw the ball.
- 18:11Speaker 1: How much is they throwing the ball here? You know,
- 18:13Speaker 1: Jordan Tyson, we know what Kellen Moore is gonna do.
- 18:16Speaker 1: He's gonna be chucking it up. And the problem with
- 18:19Speaker 1: Lemon and Eagles right now is that I don't know
- 18:22Speaker 1: what we're gonna get from there. Again, new offensive coordinator?
- 18:25Speaker 1: Are they letting hurts air and out?
- 18:31Speaker 2: Probably not.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Listen, forget the Jets, Sadika is already hurt, I believe,
- 18:38Speaker 1: and Omar Cooper Junior, who I love to pick. Yeah, No,
- 18:43Speaker 1: that's not gonna happen either. Or though, let's keep in
- 18:46Speaker 1: mind these teams will be trailing a lot in games
- 18:50Speaker 1: this year, which means they're gonna have to throw the ball.
- 18:53Speaker 1: What about the I though, Jeremiah Love. I mean, you're
- 18:56Speaker 1: the number three pick in the draft. They're gonna look
- 18:58Speaker 1: for every reason to try to get you that kind
- 19:01Speaker 1: of award.
- 19:01Speaker 2: No, yes, but it feels a little genty to me.
- 19:06Speaker 2: I agree, you know, he's a top top pick. The
- 19:09Speaker 2: team is bad. Listen, Love will have some plays just
- 19:12Speaker 2: like gent did where you're like, oh wow, that's why
- 19:15Speaker 2: you draft a kid that high. Even though I never
- 19:17Speaker 2: like taking a runner back in the first round. But
- 19:19Speaker 2: you know he'll have some flashes, but he still plays
- 19:21Speaker 2: for the Cardinals, and to your point, they're gonna be
- 19:24Speaker 2: down by twenty in every game, so they're gonna have
- 19:27Speaker 2: to throw every game. I mean, unless he really gets
- 19:30Speaker 2: involved in the passing game. But he is a running back.
- 19:32Speaker 2: That's where he's gonna make his bone. So I don't know,
- 19:34Speaker 2: you know, three four to one, I feel like you
- 19:37Speaker 2: gotta look other places Mendoza.
- 19:40Speaker 1: I mean, he's likely not starting under.
- 19:43Speaker 2: Say start that's yeah, that's the thing, yep.
- 19:46Speaker 1: So I don't know that we can actually look at him.
- 19:49Speaker 1: I want nothing to do with Arizona in any way,
- 19:51Speaker 1: shape or form. So I do think the receiver market
- 19:54Speaker 1: is the best market to look in there, or if
- 19:57Speaker 1: we were going to go that ROUNDE, I think that's
- 19:59Speaker 1: the way. That's the way to do it, all right,
- 20:02Speaker 1: So we got some NFL awards markets, how about it. Art.
- 20:06Speaker 1: We've been covering college football win totals. We've talked about
- 20:10Speaker 1: a couple of teams this week that we like. I
- 20:13Speaker 1: think you went over and under on your you said
- 20:16Speaker 1: under Kentucky over with Penn State yesterday. I went over
- 20:21Speaker 1: Oklahoma State and I went over with the UCLA Bruins
- 20:26Speaker 1: this season. What do you got for us today? Win
- 20:29Speaker 1: total in college football?
- 20:32Speaker 2: We're gonna go back to an under. We're gonna go
- 20:34Speaker 2: to the AAC. We're gonna take Memphis seven and a half.
- 20:37Speaker 2: It's pretty much painted one ten across the board. There's
- 20:39Speaker 2: some minus one fifteen's out there, but I'm taking under
- 20:42Speaker 2: seven and a half with Memphis. You know, Charles Huff
- 20:45Speaker 2: comes over from Southern Miss. He's now three years, three
- 20:48Speaker 2: different coaching jobs. He went from Marshall to Southern Miss,
- 20:52Speaker 2: now to Memphis. Quarterback situation is interesting. It looks like
- 20:55Speaker 2: the guy who's gonna win the job as a Division
- 20:57Speaker 2: two kid, this kid Stokes from West Florida, who everyone
- 21:01Speaker 2: is raving about. But still you got to understand he
- 21:04Speaker 2: is stepping up in competition. A lot of the Southern
- 21:06Speaker 2: mistguys are gonna come over and they are stepping up
- 21:08Speaker 2: from a Southern Belt conference to now in AC conference.
- 21:12Speaker 2: And then I look at their five road games, which
- 21:15Speaker 2: they have more, but five of them are brutal. Let
- 21:17Speaker 2: me read them off. UNLV, Boise, two Lane, USF, and Navy,
- 21:22Speaker 2: and they get army who's brutal at home. So I mean,
- 21:26Speaker 2: I just look at that schedule and that to me
- 21:28Speaker 2: screams six seven wins tops. So Memphis under seven and
- 21:33Speaker 2: a half.
- 21:34Speaker 1: Don't hate that at all. I think it's gonna be
- 21:37Speaker 1: a rough, rough year for them. And I'm gonna go
- 21:41Speaker 1: with a with an under as well here Art, and
- 21:46Speaker 1: I am going to look at the Iowa State sideclones
- 21:49Speaker 1: here who finished eight and four last year. But boy,
- 21:54Speaker 1: oh boy, they are going to be in it. Four
- 21:57Speaker 1: and a half I think is their win total. I
- 21:59Speaker 1: think it's gonna be. And I like Jimmy Rogers coming in.
- 22:02Speaker 1: He's done. He's another guy that just wins no matter
- 22:06Speaker 1: where he goes. But I mean he's taken over year
- 22:10Speaker 1: one in Ames and I think it's the only power
- 22:14Speaker 1: for school Art the only team with zero returning starters,
- 22:21Speaker 1: which is not great. And not to mention the schedule,
- 22:26Speaker 1: Iowa BYU Arizona, they got Utah, they got Kansas State,
- 22:31Speaker 1: Oklahoma State. Rogers has been good. I mean, you know,
- 22:35Speaker 1: he is a guy that just took over what Washington Restate,
- 22:39Speaker 1: Washington State in fact, who returned three starters last year.
- 22:43Speaker 1: He brought in twenty eight transfers from his D two
- 22:47Speaker 1: school there and they won. They might have to win
- 22:50Speaker 1: six games with Washington State. So this is a different
- 22:55Speaker 1: test though with the Big twelve, that is a lot.
- 22:58Speaker 1: You're talking about seven D five new players he's gonna
- 23:02Speaker 1: have to put together here in a brutal conference there.
- 23:06Speaker 1: I just don't know how he's gonna win five or
- 23:08Speaker 1: six games here are four and a half. To me,
- 23:11Speaker 1: feels like, yeah, I would, I'd be fading, especially early
- 23:16Speaker 1: Iowa State. I think Rogers is a great coach, But
- 23:19Speaker 1: come on, man, that's you didn't bring anybody. You're the
- 23:22Speaker 1: only team that brought nobody back. Art. That's gonna be brutal.
- 23:26Speaker 2: Zero returning starters is wild.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Yeah that's not good. Yeah that is not that's crazy
- 23:33Speaker 1: good at all. So there you go. We got a
- 23:37Speaker 1: couple of more win totals for you in in college football.
- 23:41Speaker 1: We do have art plenty of Major League baseball. Uh
- 23:46Speaker 1: here today we mentioned some of these games that we
- 23:49Speaker 1: thought we liked. Actually a lot on the card here
- 23:53Speaker 1: today we'll do the rundown. We'll do it roundtable style.
- 23:56Speaker 1: We do have a lot of afternoon baseball. Year Hunter
- 24:00Speaker 1: Brown on the mound for the Astros taking on the
- 24:02Speaker 1: Blue Jays. It's jameson ty On for the Blue I'll
- 24:05Speaker 1: take the Astros. Nothing to think about there, Dodgers Cubs
- 24:09Speaker 1: lower against him in Aga. You heard me, I'm going lower.
- 24:12Speaker 1: What are you thinking?
- 24:14Speaker 2: I'm signing with you, Joe. There's rare times you get
- 24:16Speaker 2: the Dodgers at plus money. They can't lose six in
- 24:19Speaker 2: a row. Ken, then you got to take the Dodgers
- 24:20Speaker 2: at plus money.
- 24:21Speaker 1: Ray's taking on the Rockies. Sogano has been sneaky good
- 24:25Speaker 1: for them. Here Martinez going for the Rays, coming off
- 24:28Speaker 1: a terrible outing in which he got lit up there
- 24:32Speaker 1: by the White Sox. I don't know he keeps scoring
- 24:34Speaker 1: nine hundred runs? Is there any way we're sweating out
- 24:36Speaker 1: an under in this game? I don't think so.
- 24:40Speaker 2: No.
- 24:42Speaker 1: I love this game. Here, Angels Orioles are debt meers
- 24:46Speaker 1: against Trevor Rodgers. Here are two quality lefties going at
- 24:50Speaker 1: it at Camden.
- 24:51Speaker 2: What do you think? Yeah? I mean, Sharps are on
- 24:53Speaker 2: the Angels. It's hard not to back the Angels, especially
- 24:55Speaker 2: when the only bright spot for the Angels is going
- 24:58Speaker 2: and pitching today.
- 24:59Speaker 1: All right, Athletics and the Reds. Here Lopez versus Louder.
- 25:04Speaker 1: I mean even the Athletics should be able to score
- 25:06Speaker 1: runs here, No, Art.
- 25:08Speaker 2: You would think so over would probably be a look.
- 25:10Speaker 2: I lean the Reds again too, I said, yesday, these
- 25:13Speaker 2: might be the worst team in baseball.
- 25:15Speaker 1: Oh, they are Guardians at home taking on the Mets.
- 25:19Speaker 1: Tanner Biby against Scott here. What do you think?
- 25:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, listen, that was my Partlad of the day.
- 25:25Speaker 2: Play like the Guardians in a bounce back spot. It
- 25:27Speaker 2: is still the Mets, so the Guardians are fighting for
- 25:29Speaker 2: their life. Give me the Guardians.
- 25:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna take an over. Irvin versus Andrew Paynter, the
- 25:34Speaker 1: rookie who they called back up for the Phillies. It
- 25:38Speaker 1: feels like runs are coming in that even though the
- 25:40Speaker 1: Gnats have not done a great job of scoring. I
- 25:42Speaker 1: think they're gonna score in this one. Polonte versus Will Warren.
- 25:47Speaker 1: What do you think, art.
- 25:49Speaker 2: Man, It's hard to back Warren. I think there's gonna
- 25:51Speaker 2: be some runs in this game. I'll look for the
- 25:53Speaker 2: over in the Bronx.
- 25:55Speaker 1: Work against Sonny Gray. Red Sox are told you the
- 25:59Speaker 1: Sharps are betting them. I agree with the play there,
- 26:03Speaker 1: Braves and Marlins. Bryce Elder versus Juri Perez sneaky good
- 26:07Speaker 1: spot the back the Marlins here art?
- 26:09Speaker 2: What do you think? Yeah, it certainly is. I thought
- 26:12Speaker 2: it was a good spot yesterday. But you know, once again,
- 26:14Speaker 2: Marlin's plus money, right, you gotta back.
- 26:16Speaker 1: There you go. Twins in Royals Kremer versus Noah Cameron.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Royals won last night? Did they win again tonight? Art?
- 26:25Speaker 2: No? I think the Twins. I should have bet the
- 26:27Speaker 2: Twins again today or put them in, but I didn't
- 26:28Speaker 2: want to go back to back with them. Twins will
- 26:30Speaker 2: find a way because listen, the Twins made it clear
- 26:33Speaker 2: at the deadline they are buyers. They're looking to make
- 26:35Speaker 2: the playoffs, and the Royals are dead in the water.
- 26:37Speaker 1: Tigers, Mariners, Brian Whoo going for Seattle. I hope you
- 26:42Speaker 1: can hit because they won't score runs otherwise. But I
- 26:46Speaker 1: do think he's been a different guy at home. I'll
- 26:48Speaker 1: take Seattle to bounce back in this one. Brewers Pirates,
- 26:52Speaker 1: we mentioned it. Skeens versus Kyle Harrison, what are you
- 26:55Speaker 1: think of her art?
- 26:57Speaker 2: Usually you look at these pitching matches and you say, hey,
- 26:59Speaker 2: this is a dead under. But you know Skeens has
- 27:01Speaker 2: not been that way. Old Skeen's has been a pretty
- 27:03Speaker 2: good fade. I like the Brewers at home, and honestly,
- 27:06Speaker 2: I like the over I'm.
- 27:08Speaker 1: With you there down to seven right now? And again,
- 27:10Speaker 1: what are you gonna get from Kyle Harrison? I mean,
- 27:11Speaker 1: when's the last time he's actually pitched here? And then
- 27:14Speaker 1: of course, shiny new toy alert, Casey Miz no longer
- 27:18Speaker 1: a Tiger, He's now a Padre. He's on the mountain tonight.
- 27:21Speaker 1: They won nine to four last night. Uh and Brat
- 27:25Speaker 1: the rookie is going for the Diamondbacks. What do you
- 27:28Speaker 1: think in this one? Here?
- 27:29Speaker 2: Art? Yeah, I mean myes Obviously in his first start,
- 27:33Speaker 2: we talked about how good the Padres did in the
- 27:35Speaker 2: trade Deviline getting a couple of starters. But I'm with you,
- 27:38Speaker 2: I still believe in the Diamondbacks. Diamondbacks will bounce back
- 27:41Speaker 2: and win tonight.
- 27:41Speaker 1: Listen, if school Ball didn't win his first game with
- 27:44Speaker 1: the Dodgers, let's not think that Miz is gonna win
- 27:48Speaker 1: his first start with with the Padres. There and I'll
- 27:51Speaker 1: do it Art one, two three here man ran right
- 27:55Speaker 1: down the list. Don't forget best bets over at wager
