- 0:57[SPEAKER_01]: things are pretty unstable lately and you know we're having more conversations with our clients about how do we lead when things are so unstable and so uncertain.
- 1:11[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of our clients are feeling the influence by the economy, by politics, by regulation, by so many different things in
- 1:22[SPEAKER_01]: the instability is causing them to feel chaotic.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_01]: But there are seasons in business and life where resources we're going to feel tied.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_01]: People are going to feel the pressure.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_01]: Markets feel uncertain and momentum feels harder to maintain.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_01]: In those moments leadership matters more than ever anyone can lead when conditions are easy.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_01]: Real leadership is revealed when conditions become
- 1:49[SPEAKER_01]: So today I want to talk about how strong leaders create stability when the environment feels amazingly unstable.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_01]: So look what pressure rises many people begin to explain why progress cannot happen.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_01]: They point to budgets, they point to staffing issues, hiring issues, tying competition, or the economic or political uncertainty that surround us.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_01]: But while those realities matter and they do,
- 2:18[SPEAKER_01]: They do not remove the responsibility to lead.
- 2:21[SPEAKER_01]: Leadership under constraint means accepting reality without surrendering to it.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_01]: You may not control the challenge, but you still control how you and your team respond.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_01]: You still control communication.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_01]: You still control the priorities.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_01]: And you can still control the tone within your specific area of influence.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_01]: and start asking, given this reality, what can we do next?
- 2:52[SPEAKER_01]: Constraint has not the end of leadership often.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_01]: It's where leadership actually begins.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_01]: When teams feel a certain confusion grows fast, rumors increase, anxiety spread, and productivity drops.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_01]: That is why leaders must become a source of clarity.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_01]: they need direction, they need to know what matters now, what priorities have changed, and what remains true and what the next step will be.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_01]: Smart leadership reminds us to be specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and timely.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_01]: In uncertain moments, these principles become even more valuable.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_01]: chaotic environments, clear priorities, restore movement.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_01]: And leaders often underestimate how much emotional influence they carry.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_01]: Teams' study reactions, they listen to tone, and they watch body language, they measure consistency.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_01]: If leadership becomes reactive, frantic or negative, that spreads quickly, but if leadership remains composed,
- 4:11[SPEAKER_01]: focused in steady that also spreads, calm becomes contagious.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_01]: This does not mean pretending there is no problem, it means demonstrating confidence that problems can be handled, it means showing discipline instead of panic.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_01]: Strong leaders become emotional anchors during turbulent times.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_01]: So a lot of constraints will come, tight budgets, difficult markets,
- 4:40[SPEAKER_01]: staffing issues and unexpected setbacks are part of every meaningful journey we all go on.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_01]: But in the stable conditions do not require unstable leadership.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_01]: Stay clear, stay calm, stay focused.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_01]: Use pressure to be on your discipline, not diminish it.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_01]: Look, this is the I&T series in your daily influence, where we talk about these issues every day
- 5:09[SPEAKER_01]: have more consistency, have more leadership power.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_01]: I hope you have a great day.
