- 0:00Speaker 1: It's the Mark Simon Show, Live from the w R
- 0:04Speaker 1: Life Bax Studios.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Well, Hey, the rain coming to an end today. It
- 0:14Speaker 2: should be a better day. I'd be a little shower later,
- 0:16Speaker 2: but that's about it, and it should be nice tomorrow.
- 0:17Speaker 2: We got a lot to get to. We'll get to
- 0:19Speaker 2: Graham Platner looks like he's out. We'll get to the Ukraine.
- 0:24Speaker 2: We'll get to We'll get to Iran. We'll get to
- 0:27Speaker 2: the president's trip. He's in Turkey right now. We'll get
- 0:30Speaker 2: to Crazy Mom Donnie. He's found a way to defund
- 0:33Speaker 2: the police. We'll get to the View. We'll get to
- 0:36Speaker 2: Bruce Blakeman. He's catching up. He's closing in poll wise
- 0:40Speaker 2: on Kathy Hokl. I'm talking about the real polls, not
- 0:43Speaker 2: the fake public polls. But the President in Turkey right
- 0:47Speaker 2: now for NATO talks. It's the NATO summit where all
- 0:51Speaker 2: the NATO leaders get together and accomplish absolutely nothing. They
- 0:57Speaker 2: talk and talk and talk and nothing changes. President Trump
- 1:03Speaker 2: meeting with the Turkish president Air Towan bb neet Yahoo,
- 1:08Speaker 2: warning him not to trust Air Towan, not to sell
- 1:13Speaker 2: them planes, not to do any of that stuff. We'll
- 1:16Speaker 2: see what happens today. Hey, yesterday with the Trump President
- 1:20Speaker 2: Trump rang the opening bell the Stock Exchange and then
- 1:24Speaker 2: launched the Trump accounts. It's a great idea. A lot
- 1:27Speaker 2: of people have talked about this for years. Social Security
- 1:31Speaker 2: just doesn't work. I mean, it's always broke, it's always
- 1:34Speaker 2: about to go out of business. This current state, it
- 1:37Speaker 2: has about seven years left before it goes bankrupt. A
- 1:42Speaker 2: better system is you create these Trump accounts. Every child
- 1:45Speaker 2: that's born gets a thousand dollars. It goes into an
- 1:48Speaker 2: account that's carefully wisely invested in S and P five
- 1:54Speaker 2: hundred index sort of stuff, and one thousand dollars in
- 1:58Speaker 2: your account. If you're a kid, well the time you're eighteen,
- 2:00Speaker 2: it could be hundreds of thousands of dollars, and by
- 2:03Speaker 2: the time you're ready for retirement, it could be millions
- 2:06Speaker 2: of dollars. So it's a great system. Michael dell Is
- 2:10Speaker 2: kicked in many, many, many millions to help start this
- 2:14Speaker 2: OFFUL lot of other people will, so it's a great thing.
- 2:17Speaker 2: The President talking about it yesterday.
- 2:19Speaker 3: On Saturday, July fourth, administration deposited one time seed contributions
- 2:25Speaker 3: one thousand dollars each into the Trump accounts. Of over
- 2:29Speaker 3: five hundred thousand American children. It's a lot and millions
- 2:34Speaker 3: more will be getting additional contributions from generous owners.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Well, hey's first of the Ukraine. I think even Putin
- 2:45Speaker 2: is starting to realize he's not gonna win this war.
- 2:48Speaker 2: He can keep fighting it. He's got enough men and
- 2:50Speaker 2: money and resources to keep it going, but it's a total,
- 2:54Speaker 2: absolute stalemate. Ukraine has been brilliant in the last year
- 3:01Speaker 2: in all of this, actually the last few years, because
- 3:04Speaker 2: they were totally dependent on us for weapons for money, well,
- 3:08Speaker 2: they've started to make their own weapons. They started a
- 3:11Speaker 2: few years ago. They figured out what they needed, drones,
- 3:13Speaker 2: the most deadly sophisticated, high powered drones, distance long distance drones,
- 3:20Speaker 2: and they figured out how to make them, and they
- 3:22Speaker 2: built their own factories. And in the Ukraine they've got
- 3:26Speaker 2: these big factories turning out drones by the hundreds. They
- 3:29Speaker 2: just keep turning out these drones, and they've been using
- 3:32Speaker 2: them very effectively against Russia. They make so many drones
- 3:38Speaker 2: in these factories. In fact, at some point we're going
- 3:40Speaker 2: to be buying drones from the Ukraine. I mean, it's
- 3:42Speaker 2: brilliant what they did. It's turned the whole thing around.
- 3:44Speaker 2: They're not only holding off the Russians, they're actually they're
- 3:48Speaker 2: advancing into Russia. They're taking back territory that Russia had,
- 3:52Speaker 2: so Putin it's beyond the steelmate. Now Putin is actually
- 3:55Speaker 2: losing this scene again. He's got enough men and money
- 3:57Speaker 2: and he's losing like thirty thousand groups a month. But
- 4:01Speaker 2: he can keep that up. He can keep forcing people
- 4:04Speaker 2: to serve, to go into the army, to be on
- 4:06Speaker 2: the front lines. For all those years that we were
- 4:09Speaker 2: terrified of the superpower Russia and it's mighty army, we
- 4:13Speaker 2: now know it's just a ragtag bunch of idiots, totally ineffective,
- 4:17Speaker 2: can't even get past the Ukraine army. So President Trump
- 4:21Speaker 2: thinks that it's at the point now where Putin knows
- 4:25Speaker 2: it's never going to win this, and maybe he wants
- 4:27Speaker 2: a deal.
- 4:27Speaker 3: He wants to end it, and Ukraine wants to end it,
- 4:31Speaker 3: and we're in talks and we'll see we can get
- 4:33Speaker 3: it ended. It's a terrible thing.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Yeah, So he may actually make a deal, may actually
- 4:37Speaker 2: get it. May be a ran kind of situation. You
- 4:41Speaker 2: have these flimsy ceasefires for a while at least just
- 4:43Speaker 2: stop the fighting for a while, and of course if
- 4:47Speaker 2: you're watching MSNBC, it'll be a total corruption. It's a
- 4:51Speaker 2: Russian collusion. It'll be all kinds of crazy things. Speaking
- 4:54Speaker 2: of Iran, it's not great and it's not bad. I mean,
- 4:58Speaker 2: the ceasefire is it's kind of a holding measure for us.
- 5:02Speaker 2: We're a little short on missiles, drones, everything ourselves and
- 5:07Speaker 2: are restocking, so this couple of months helps a lot.
- 5:11Speaker 2: But Iran, as weasley and evil as those Iranian leaders are,
- 5:16Speaker 2: have been up to no good. There's a place called
- 5:19Speaker 2: Pickaxe Mountain that's one of their big nuclear sites. Iran
- 5:23Speaker 2: has now been seen through satellite photos doing recovery work,
- 5:28Speaker 2: trying to dig down there and get some of that
- 5:29Speaker 2: nuclear material the total violation of the cease fire at
- 5:34Speaker 2: the Pickaxe Mountain. Vehicle activity can be seen on the
- 5:37Speaker 2: roads leading up to the tunnels that go in there,
- 5:41Speaker 2: indicating that construction inside the tunnel complex is going on
- 5:45Speaker 2: as well as hardening the tunnel entrance. Inspects from the
- 5:50Speaker 2: Atomic Energy Agency not been allowed in to visit the site.
- 5:54Speaker 2: Experts from the institute that studies all this argue that
- 5:58Speaker 2: halting work at Pickaxe Mountain allowing the investors inspectors in
- 6:03Speaker 2: would be a very important thing. Iran has so far
- 6:07Speaker 2: not done that. They continue their pattern of deception. It
- 6:11Speaker 2: says so not good, and that's not the worst thing
- 6:15Speaker 2: in the world. But at some point we're going to
- 6:17Speaker 2: have to go back in there and finish the job,
- 6:19Speaker 2: finish them off at some point. FIFA, what is There's
- 6:23Speaker 2: a big game today, right? I don't watch this. I
- 6:25Speaker 2: don't play any attention to it. I don't know. It's
- 6:29Speaker 2: when you try to watch it. It's Uruguay versus Paraguay. Well,
- 6:32Speaker 2: who am I supposed to root for? It's apparently a
- 6:35Speaker 2: big thing, a lot of betting on this. See want
- 6:40Speaker 2: I'm talking about today? It's Switzerland and Columbia. Switzerland and Columbia.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Now who am I supposed to be for? I like watches,
- 6:48Speaker 2: so I like Switzerland. I like coffee, so I like Columbia.
- 6:52Speaker 2: I don't know what the hell am I supposed to do?
- 6:54Speaker 2: Apparently it's big, big money being bet so. Now, of course,
- 6:58Speaker 2: anything President rut does is anything Bresident Trump does is wrong.
- 7:02Speaker 2: It's outrageous, it's corrupt. They try to go after everything.
- 7:06Speaker 2: Now with this FIFA thing where he called the FIFA
- 7:10Speaker 2: and told him to reinstate that player, asked him to
- 7:12Speaker 2: read it, requested that they reinstate that player. I guarantee
- 7:16Speaker 2: you Donald Trump is not following soccer. It doesn't know
- 7:19Speaker 2: a damn thing about it. But apparently what happened there
- 7:23Speaker 2: where the guy was removed was against the rules and
- 7:25Speaker 2: was wrong. They did it. It's I won't get into
- 7:29Speaker 2: all the complexities of the rules, but they weren't supposed to
- 7:31Speaker 2: do it. So apparently a lot of people went to
- 7:34Speaker 2: him and said, you got to fix this, so he
- 7:36Speaker 2: made the call. Personally, I don't think he cares either
- 7:39Speaker 2: way anything about what goes on in a FIFA game,
- 7:42Speaker 2: but they continue today. The betting is going on. Like hey,
- 7:45Speaker 2: by the way, the tourism in New York is through
- 7:47Speaker 2: the roof. Through the roof, there are people all over
- 7:51Speaker 2: the place. There's a Nike store on Fifth Avenue, fifty
- 7:55Speaker 2: second set. I'm walking by there last night's nine o'clock
- 7:57Speaker 2: at night. It was packed, there were lines. It's all
- 8:03Speaker 2: FIFA stuff. They're selling, all the jerseys and all that stuff.
- 8:05Speaker 2: So it's a huge business. People are making a fortune
- 8:09Speaker 2: off this. Here's President Trump.
- 8:10Speaker 3: If they wouldn't allow, you know, a top player, maybe
- 8:15Speaker 3: the best, maybe among the best players on the team
- 8:19Speaker 3: to play. I think it would have had a big stain.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Yeah, so he's acting on behalf of America in that
- 8:25Speaker 2: of course, that makes it even worse. If you're MSNBC,
- 8:28Speaker 2: they don't want anybody acting on behalf of America.
- 8:30Speaker 3: I asked for a review because I didn't think it
- 8:32Speaker 3: was a foul. And you know, again, I'm good at
- 8:35Speaker 3: this stuff. I didn't think it was a foul. I
- 8:37Speaker 3: thought it was two great athletes a question into each
- 8:39Speaker 3: other and got entangled.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Yeah. So, hey, Graham Platner looks like he's out. A
- 8:45Speaker 2: ex girlfriend has come forward saying she was raped. She's
- 8:49Speaker 2: a Democrat, she's a Democratic voter. She's not from the
- 8:52Speaker 2: Republican side, but she goes into excruciating detail about Platner
- 8:58Speaker 2: raping her, and Democrats are starting to turn. Here's roe Kana.
- 9:04Speaker 2: He's like the Indian Adam Shift row Kanna Weasley guy
- 9:08Speaker 2: who's always you know, trying to be the new Adam
- 9:10Speaker 2: Shift bashing Trump like, but even he even he has
- 9:13Speaker 2: turned on Platinir.
- 9:15Speaker 4: Obviously, Look, if there was evidence of violence, I would
- 9:19Speaker 4: not support him.
- 9:19Speaker 3: If there was evidence of a sexual assault, I'd have
- 9:23Speaker 3: zero support Ruth.
- 9:25Speaker 2: Now, Platinir lied the whole time, this whole camp. A
- 9:30Speaker 2: couple of weeks ago, he's on the CNN or something
- 9:33Speaker 2: and they asked him if there's any more that could
- 9:36Speaker 2: come out.
- 9:36Speaker 1: I'm wondering, are there other skeletons from your past that
- 9:39Speaker 1: still may emerge in this race?
- 9:42Speaker 2: No, but the GUP is going to dig up everything.
- 9:47Speaker 5: And more that they can.
- 9:48Speaker 6: Yeah, and probably lie at some point.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Is there something new you want to get ahead.
- 9:54Speaker 7: Of No, us people have to take you at your
- 9:56Speaker 7: word that that's true and that there's nothing else.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Is that what you are saying?
- 10:02Speaker 8: Yes?
- 10:02Speaker 2: Yeah, but he was lying. There's plenty more. That's a
- 10:06Speaker 2: lot more coming out. And this woman, his ex girlfriend,
- 10:10Speaker 2: says she describes in detail how she was raped by him.
- 10:13Speaker 2: He is, he's basically out. He's ad. What did he say?
- 10:17Speaker 2: I have to reflect on this. He's suspending. That means
- 10:20Speaker 2: he's out. Here's Platiner yesterday.
- 10:22Speaker 6: I wanted to directly address the troubling, serious and false
- 10:26Speaker 6: allegations against me. Any accusation of non consensual behavior is
- 10:31Speaker 6: categorically false.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Yeah, but apparently it's not because he's suspending.
- 10:36Speaker 6: So regardless of the inaccuracy of the reporting, but mindful
- 10:40Speaker 6: of political reality it will inflict. We are taking the
- 10:43Speaker 6: time to reflect on the best path forward.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Yeah. In other words, he's out, he's suspending. Hey, howie,
- 10:49Speaker 2: Carl'll be with us later this hour. He is like
- 10:51Speaker 2: the official Platiner correspondent of the world. Nobody on top
- 10:55Speaker 2: of Platiner more than him. So we'll talk to him
- 10:58Speaker 2: and just remember the famous of Elizabeth Warren.
- 11:02Speaker 7: I said to myself, that's my kind of man, because
- 11:11Speaker 7: that is a man who not only has the values,
- 11:17Speaker 7: but a man who believes in accountability.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Yeah, he has the value she embraces. He's got a
- 11:24Speaker 2: big Nazi death Camp SS tattoo right on his chest.
- 11:30Speaker 2: He's a rapist. He's the values she embraces. These Democrats
- 11:36Speaker 2: have gone so far, the so crazy with anti Semitism,
- 11:41Speaker 2: communism and Nazi tattoos. They can't even see straight. Blame
- 11:46Speaker 2: Donald Trump. He has set them off, he has driven
- 11:49Speaker 2: them nuts. A lot of this is they want Donald
- 11:53Speaker 2: Trump stopped, they want him out, they want him ruined.
- 11:56Speaker 2: They want and they just now think the old guard,
- 12:00Speaker 2: the Democratic leaders, the schumers, those types weren't able to
- 12:04Speaker 2: do it. They were ineffective at stopping Trump. So they're
- 12:06Speaker 2: turning to these radical nutsjobs. They think if a Schumer
- 12:10Speaker 2: can't do it, these crazies can do it. The anti
- 12:14Speaker 2: semity it doesn't bother them. In fact, I think a
- 12:17Speaker 2: lot of them actually liked that kind of stuff. Now
- 12:19Speaker 2: there's a host on the view, Sonny hostin I can't
- 12:24Speaker 2: tell one from the other. There's just a bunch of
- 12:26Speaker 2: clucking hens the view. And one of them actually said
- 12:30Speaker 2: she's talking about the Mom Donnie. And remember that candidate
- 12:33Speaker 2: Mom Donnie pushed on us that Chevalier. So she used
- 12:36Speaker 2: the word anti semitic. Apparently the Mom Donnie people are
- 12:39Speaker 2: fuming and furious and yelling and complaining to ABC, how
- 12:45Speaker 2: dare she use the word anti semitic. Well, of course
- 12:48Speaker 2: they're anti Semitic. I mean, there's no question of that.
- 12:50Speaker 2: But the fact that they're so outraged at the word
- 12:54Speaker 2: and objecting, I guess that's the only good thing is
- 12:57Speaker 2: I guess they realize it's bad. I guess they realize
- 13:01Speaker 2: anti Semitism is a bad, bad thing, that you can't
- 13:05Speaker 2: have that label. They're still anti semit but at least
- 13:07Speaker 2: they know how bad it is, so they're objecting to it. ABC.
- 13:11Speaker 2: I don't think we'll apologize or do anything about it.
- 13:14Speaker 2: You couldn't be or more anti semitic than Chevalier Mom Donnie,
- 13:18Speaker 2: I mean, his wife. The things they've said, the things
- 13:22Speaker 2: they've written, the things they've posted. I mean, there's no
- 13:24Speaker 2: question about it. So hey, we'll get to Mom Donnie
- 13:28Speaker 2: coming up. He's found a way to kind of defund
- 13:30Speaker 2: the police. We'll get to that. Also, Hey, if you're
- 13:34Speaker 2: in New Jersey, other areas too, but especially in New Jersey.
- 13:38Speaker 2: You've got power outages that continue, some will continue through
- 13:42Speaker 2: tomorrow through Thursday. Power out in lots of parts in
- 13:46Speaker 2: New Jersey, and it's not getting restored as fast as
- 13:51Speaker 2: it should. You should be all over that governor. And
- 13:53Speaker 2: then you got flooding from the rain, the incredible downwards.
- 13:58Speaker 2: You see that BJ's Wholesale Club, so much rain on
- 14:01Speaker 2: the roof that the roof collapsed into the store, frightening
- 14:06Speaker 2: a lot of people in the BJ's Wholesale Club, and
- 14:08Speaker 2: the roof just caves in, and I don't think anybody
- 14:14Speaker 2: was seriously injured. But drones and canine teams were searching
- 14:16Speaker 2: the buildings, and he's got these power outages that will
- 14:20Speaker 2: continue all over the place. Hey, we'll take some calls. Next.
- 14:23Speaker 2: Eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten is
- 14:26Speaker 2: the number eight hundred three to two one zero seven
- 14:31Speaker 2: ten in.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Mark on Demand by setting up presead for his podcast
- 14:36Speaker 1: on the iHeartRadio app. Now back to Mark Simone on Woorway.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Let's take some calls. Let's go to Dave in Chicago. Dave,
- 14:46Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 14:48Speaker 9: Good morning, Mark.
- 14:49Speaker 8: I'm doing very well.
- 14:50Speaker 10: Thank you.
- 14:50Speaker 8: Mark.
- 14:51Speaker 11: I recently had dinner at Morton's and it got me
- 14:54Speaker 11: to thinking about restaurant reviewers.
- 14:57Speaker 4: If I may I have two fast.
- 14:58Speaker 11: Questions, If you please, I'm sorry, sir, go ahead, Oh
- 15:05Speaker 11: thank you. In this era of social media, is that
- 15:08Speaker 11: more difficult to maintain anonymity? And lastly, have you yourself
- 15:13Speaker 11: ever participated in a restaurant review?
- 15:15Speaker 8: Oh?
- 15:15Speaker 2: Many times. Yes. I used to go on restaurant reviews
- 15:18Speaker 2: with critics from the Times from a Yeah, a review
- 15:22Speaker 2: is usually the reviewer has to take three other people.
- 15:25Speaker 2: It's always a table of four. One guy's always the
- 15:28Speaker 2: wine expert, one guy's to this expert. That way, you see,
- 15:32Speaker 2: they need to order a lot of dishes for each review.
- 15:35Speaker 2: They usually go three or four times, and you got
- 15:38Speaker 2: to order like four or five of every entree, four
- 15:40Speaker 2: or five of every appetizer each time. So that's why
- 15:42Speaker 2: they need a bunch of people, and the restaurant can
- 15:45Speaker 2: usually spot it's a review because everybody's passing everything to
- 15:48Speaker 2: each other. Everybody's taking a bite and passing around. But
- 15:52Speaker 2: now you went to Morton's. Why din'd you go to Gibson's.
- 15:54Speaker 2: You got the one of the best steakhouses in the
- 15:56Speaker 2: world in Chicago, Gibsons.
- 16:00Speaker 12: That's something that's on my to do list.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Well do it. It's a great place, all right, David Well, I.
- 16:07Speaker 4: Will take your recommendation.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Thank you, Mark, thanks for calling. That's in what they
- 16:10Speaker 2: call the Viagra Triangle. It's in Chicago, in the Gold Coast.
- 16:15Speaker 2: There's three big streets that form like a triangle, and
- 16:18Speaker 2: there's all these great restaurants in there, Gibson's, Hugo's, and
- 16:23Speaker 2: the bar is like a lot of older, very wealthy
- 16:25Speaker 2: guys and a lot of young bimbo types looking to
- 16:29Speaker 2: land these wealthy gets. So that's why they call it
- 16:30Speaker 2: the Viagra Triangle. Just seriously, just if you're in Chicago.
- 16:34Speaker 2: You're getting a cab and you say take me the
- 16:36Speaker 2: Viagra triangle, He'll take you right there. It's a common
- 16:39Speaker 2: term there. Let's go to Rich and Myrtle Beach Rich.
- 16:42Speaker 2: How you doing.
- 16:43Speaker 8: Hey, Thanks Mark, Good morning David, and good morning Vincent.
- 16:46Speaker 8: Happy birthday, Ringo Star eighty six years old. Oh he's
- 16:51Speaker 8: eighty six, I know, six, unbelievable.
- 16:55Speaker 2: He was the oldest beetle. He was a couple of
- 16:57Speaker 2: years older than that guy.
- 16:58Speaker 8: Yeah, what eighty four? John would have been eighty five
- 17:02Speaker 8: years wow? Oh guy, it seemed like yesterday when he
- 17:06Speaker 8: had Sullivan show, an Abbey Road came out, and now
- 17:09Speaker 8: Rio's going to be eighty six years old. My dad,
- 17:12Speaker 8: who will be ninety nine in November, said he felt
- 17:14Speaker 8: old when his idol started to die, like when Joe
- 17:18Speaker 8: DiMaggio died. Luke Garrett. He started to feel old when
- 17:22Speaker 8: those kind of people started to die. And you know,
- 17:23Speaker 8: looking at our age, you know another five years that's
- 17:26Speaker 8: going to start happening fast. You know. My point this morning,
- 17:29Speaker 8: Mark was I was watching Fox News and there's Meeker
- 17:32Speaker 8: from CNB whatever the station is trying to defend with
- 17:36Speaker 8: the Politico reporter Grand Platinum from Maine, like, grilling this guy,
- 17:42Speaker 8: what proof do you have? What these people are all
- 17:44Speaker 8: in on this guy up in Man, it's really unbelievable.
- 17:47Speaker 2: It's funny.
- 17:48Speaker 8: Before the day's over.
- 17:49Speaker 2: Platiner the ex girlfriend, ex girlfriend who dated him for
- 17:53Speaker 2: a long time said rape And yeah, Mika was grilling
- 17:57Speaker 2: the reporter, well did she have any evidence? What evidence
- 18:00Speaker 2: did you What actual evidence did you have? Now, when
- 18:04Speaker 2: it comes to that wacko nut job Egen Carroll, nobody
- 18:06Speaker 2: had this. Mika never wanted any evidence. There's you know,
- 18:09Speaker 2: this whack job Eugene Carroll, couldn't tell you what year,
- 18:13Speaker 2: couldn't tell you anything about it, couldn't give you any details.
- 18:17Speaker 2: Mika believes her instantly, just like that. But this platinumbelievable
- 18:22Speaker 2: hard evidence. Thanks for calling. Let's go to UH Alice
- 18:26Speaker 2: in Rockland County. Alice, how you doing.
- 18:30Speaker 8: I'm good.
- 18:30Speaker 9: Mark. What do you think about this weekend at Bernie's
- 18:33Speaker 9: UH and his wife goes to China or maybe the
- 18:35Speaker 9: movie gave where they hide him in the basement.
- 18:37Speaker 4: Mitch McConnell, we're not hearing anything about it now.
- 18:40Speaker 2: From what I hear, he's been officially declared brain dead,
- 18:43Speaker 2: Mitch McConnell, I mean medically serious.
- 18:46Speaker 9: Are they waiting till the elections or something like? Why
- 18:49Speaker 9: won't they the office say anything? They keep saying, we're
- 18:51Speaker 9: he's in recovery.
- 18:52Speaker 4: He's in recovery.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I hear. It's pretty bad. But has it You're right,
- 18:56Speaker 2: it hasn't been confirmed. His wife is in China. She's
- 18:59Speaker 2: from China to her family's in China. The whole family's there.
- 19:02Speaker 8: Yeah. Yeah.
- 19:04Speaker 9: Her daddy owned a big companies. They got a big
- 19:07Speaker 9: Chinese company as a wedding gift.
- 19:09Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 19:09Speaker 2: No, No, they're a big part of the Chinese economy
- 19:12Speaker 2: and a big part of probably the Chinese country. Not
- 19:14Speaker 2: the best. She's a nice woman, a lane choo, and
- 19:19Speaker 2: I don't know why she's over there, but apparently he's
- 19:21Speaker 2: very bad and not going to recover. But thanks for calling.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Let's go to Jay in New Jersey. Jay, how you doing?
- 19:29Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 19:29Speaker 4: Mark?
- 19:30Speaker 13: You know Elizabeth Warren he took at this when she
- 19:34Speaker 13: said that Graham Plattner is her kind of guy. Was
- 19:37Speaker 13: she lying then or is she lying now? I think
- 19:40Speaker 13: we know the answer to that. These people don't care
- 19:42Speaker 13: about the women. They never do. It's all about political expedients,
- 19:45Speaker 13: isn't it.
- 19:45Speaker 2: Yeah, it's all well, it's all about getting Trump and
- 19:48Speaker 2: any whoever they think can slay Trump. That's who they're for.
- 19:51Speaker 2: They don't care if he's got an enormous Nazi tattoo
- 19:54Speaker 2: right on his chest. They don't care about any of that.
- 19:56Speaker 2: He's got to be I mean, he's talking about a
- 19:59Speaker 2: candidate with bad bagage. This guy is like Paris Hilton
- 20:02Speaker 2: with the baggage. I mean, this guy had more back.
- 20:04Speaker 2: They couldn't care less. They'll look the other way on
- 20:07Speaker 2: anything if Trump is involved. Hey, Howie Carr's coming up
- 20:10Speaker 2: in a few minutes. I think I'm pretty sure he's
- 20:13Speaker 2: the guy that first called their Pocahontas. They first gave
- 20:16Speaker 2: her that nickname. Let's go to John and West Islip. John,
- 20:20Speaker 2: how you.
- 20:20Speaker 4: Doing, Ali Mark?
- 20:23Speaker 5: Tell you good morning. Quick question, But I hear that
- 20:28Speaker 5: Congresswoman Luna from Florida is proposing to put Trump on
- 20:33Speaker 5: Mount Rushmore.
- 20:34Speaker 10: Yeah, what do you think.
- 20:36Speaker 5: Would it be on the right side with Lincoln or.
- 20:38Speaker 12: On the left side where Washington is.
- 20:41Speaker 2: From what I hear, you can't actually put anybody on
- 20:44Speaker 2: Mount Rushmore. Some geological the stone the rock format that
- 20:47Speaker 2: you can't carve into it anymore. That's what I hear.
- 20:50Speaker 5: I heard that it can be carved in. Geologists has
- 20:53Speaker 5: said that they can do it on either side.
- 20:56Speaker 2: Yeah, well maybe they found a way to listen. Obviously,
- 20:59Speaker 2: obviously the Democrats will go completely insane. It's one reason
- 21:03Speaker 2: to propose it. Also, I think, don't you have to
- 21:06Speaker 2: be dead a long time to be considered for Mount Rushmore?
- 21:10Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 21:10Speaker 12: That's where I'm calling the master. I'm calling you.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know. I'll look into it. I'll look
- 21:14Speaker 2: into it, and I think you got to be dead
- 21:16Speaker 2: for a long time. You can't. No, you just the
- 21:21Speaker 2: left would go too crazy. They would go completely insane. Also,
- 21:25Speaker 2: it would cost a fortune to have to protect Mount Rushmore.
- 21:30Speaker 2: You'd have every left wing mountain climbing equipment trying to
- 21:35Speaker 2: go up there with spray paint, with hammers to try.
- 21:38Speaker 2: They would spend every second trying to destroy and deface
- 21:42Speaker 2: the thing, like the reflecting pool. Hey again, Howie Carr,
- 21:45Speaker 2: he was the first one on Elizabeth Warren. I think
- 21:47Speaker 2: he gave it a name Pocahontas, but he's been all over.
- 21:50Speaker 2: Graham Platner, he's the best on the subject. We'll talk
- 21:53Speaker 2: to him next on seven to ten wor.
- 21:56Speaker 1: He's got the whole city in your radio.
- 21:59Speaker 14: Mark Simon on.
- 22:03Speaker 2: Well, here's one of the great talk show hosts in America,
- 22:06Speaker 2: Howie Carr. You can hear him on iHeart. You can
- 22:09Speaker 2: get his podcast his radio show Everything's at iHeart, or
- 22:12Speaker 2: go just go to Howie Carshow dot com where you
- 22:14Speaker 2: can also get his best selling books. The latest book
- 22:17Speaker 2: is Mass Corruption, and get his column his books, the
- 22:20Speaker 2: radio show everything at Howie carshow dot com. Howie Carr,
- 22:24Speaker 2: how you doing very good?
- 22:27Speaker 4: I'm doing better than Graham Platina.
- 22:29Speaker 2: I think you well, So we want to have you
- 22:30Speaker 2: on because you are the official Graham Platinir correspondent of
- 22:34Speaker 2: the world. You have been on this guy. You knew
- 22:39Speaker 2: this day was coming, didn't you that he would?
- 22:41Speaker 8: Oh yeah, yeah. You know.
- 22:43Speaker 4: The thing was the Republicans would have waited until next
- 22:46Speaker 4: week when it was too late to get him off
- 22:47Speaker 4: the ballot. So this was like his own his own
- 22:52Speaker 4: crime family. Whack them yesterday. They set up They set
- 22:58Speaker 4: up Jake Politico at Jake Papper, you know, the guy
- 23:01Speaker 4: who told us for four years that Joe Biden was
- 23:04Speaker 4: fit as a fiddle as sharp as attack, and then said, well,
- 23:07Speaker 4: I really knew he wasn't all all along, So it's
- 23:10Speaker 4: it's definitely a you know, a hit inside the family.
- 23:16Speaker 2: He's done right. I know he says he's suspending, he's reflecting.
- 23:18Speaker 2: That means finish, doesn't it.
- 23:21Speaker 4: I think so, I think, I I you know, I
- 23:23Speaker 4: would I would hope that he would stay in just
- 23:25Speaker 4: because he's you know, he's toast now. I mean, the
- 23:27Speaker 4: signs were already disappearing, you know, for about a month.
- 23:30Speaker 4: The signs have been disappearing off the you know, the
- 23:33Speaker 4: yard signs in Maine. So there's been I mean, there's
- 23:36Speaker 4: been some some trepidation among some of the Saint Er Democrats,
- 23:40Speaker 4: the few that are left. But he was, he was
- 23:43Speaker 4: still he was still hanging in there, and now he's
- 23:45Speaker 4: now he's become a major embarrassment. And I loved it
- 23:48Speaker 4: too that Rachel Maddow and her her lookalike separated at birth.
- 23:53Speaker 4: Chris Hayes were both saying last night, well you know
- 23:56Speaker 4: those are those denials. They sounded rather rather holow and suspicious.
- 24:01Speaker 8: Well now you tell us, how come you to give
- 24:06Speaker 8: us a heads.
- 24:07Speaker 4: Up when he was actually on your network lying through
- 24:09Speaker 4: his deep.
- 24:10Speaker 2: Yeah, so hey explain to people. Explain Maine again to people,
- 24:15Speaker 2: because people think of it as this old even with Democrats,
- 24:19Speaker 2: sort of a conservative, old fashioned kind of place.
- 24:21Speaker 4: What happened to Maine, Well, what happened is I mean
- 24:25Speaker 4: it's been it's been drifting left fork for for a while.
- 24:28Speaker 4: But after COVID, Uh, you know, all the beautiful people
- 24:32Speaker 4: decided to move in and they they bought along the
- 24:36Speaker 4: coast and they've you know, they've they basically ousted the
- 24:41Speaker 4: traditional main people from the coast and they've had to
- 24:45Speaker 4: either moved to Tennessee and Florida and Texas, or they've
- 24:49Speaker 4: just moved inland and they live in the pine tree areas,
- 24:53Speaker 4: the logging country Inland. And so these places that used
- 24:58Speaker 4: to be like lobster lobster and fishing communities, or blueberry
- 25:04Speaker 4: blueberry growing areas, potato growing areas further north, they're they're
- 25:08Speaker 4: all now like resort resort towns there. It's it's turning
- 25:12Speaker 4: into like Aspen or you know, or some of those
- 25:16Speaker 4: places in Montana. And uh, these are the these are
- 25:20Speaker 4: the people who support Platiner, you know, I mean, you
- 25:22Speaker 4: can you know, like he again he claims to be
- 25:25Speaker 4: working class, but he had no working class uh constituency.
- 25:29Speaker 4: The people, you know, people look at people from Maine
- 25:32Speaker 4: look at him, and they say, this guy, this case
- 25:34Speaker 4: is not this Cay is not a wasterman. You know,
- 25:37Speaker 4: he has he has one customer, it's his mom's restaurant.
- 25:41Speaker 4: And he went to he went to prep school. And
- 25:44Speaker 4: he's just a he's just a poser. And but but
- 25:48Speaker 4: again that's what the new people in uh in Maine,
- 25:52Speaker 4: the the new residents who changed everything, uh, to change
- 25:56Speaker 4: the demographics. That's what they like, that's what they wanted.
- 26:00Speaker 4: And uh, you know they were tired of Janet Mills.
- 26:02Speaker 4: I mean she was she was super far left, you know,
- 26:05Speaker 4: like that guy that lost in East Harlem. You know
- 26:08Speaker 4: what the name Adorn asked a lot. I mean, he
- 26:10Speaker 4: was an illegal alien, but that wasn't good enough there
- 26:13Speaker 4: he was you had to be an illegal alien communist,
- 26:16Speaker 4: you know. So so Janet Mills, I mean she was
- 26:19Speaker 4: just this crazy COVID governor and brought in some Mollie's
- 26:23Speaker 4: and was giving them everything. But that wasn't enough. You know,
- 26:27Speaker 4: she just does she she just wasn't getting the job done.
- 26:29Speaker 4: So they they you know, they wanted the they wanted Platiner,
- 26:32Speaker 4: and they didn't care, you know, they didn't they didn't
- 26:35Speaker 4: care how how nasty he was. He just he was
- 26:38Speaker 4: just you know, you know, it's like the old Randy
- 26:41Speaker 4: Newman song will he may be a fool, but he's
- 26:43Speaker 4: our fool that they think they're better than. Well, well,
- 26:46Speaker 4: he may be a Nazi and a rapist, but he's
- 26:48Speaker 4: our nazi and rapist, you know. And that's that's the
- 26:50Speaker 4: way he looked at it. And they did not give
- 26:54Speaker 4: a leap, or a large number of them didn't, like
- 26:56Speaker 4: I said, his support was drifting away. The last pole
- 27:00Speaker 4: off before the revelation yesterday was Susan Collins was up
- 27:05Speaker 4: by four points, and you know, she was running six
- 27:09Speaker 4: years ago against the Speaker of the House who was
- 27:12Speaker 4: a fairly attractive woman who had political experienced, Sarah Gideon,
- 27:17Speaker 4: and Sarah Gideon to the very end, was up by
- 27:20Speaker 4: eight or nine points, and Susan Collins ended up crushing
- 27:24Speaker 4: her by like ten points. So you can imagine what
- 27:27Speaker 4: it was going to be like this time around.
- 27:29Speaker 2: Hey, So all of these Democrats, we got a bunch
- 27:31Speaker 2: of them, got elected here in New York these new
- 27:33Speaker 2: breed of communist Democrats and you know, the mayors these
- 27:37Speaker 2: you know, we used to have to go to Vietnam
- 27:39Speaker 2: to fight communism. Now we've got to go to Seattle
- 27:41Speaker 2: and New York. And where's this going to end? The
- 27:44Speaker 2: communists really going to take over the party?
- 27:48Speaker 4: I don't know. I mean, you know again, I mean
- 27:51Speaker 4: I look at a short term and I think this
- 27:53Speaker 4: is great for the Republicans. But then I think, you know,
- 27:56Speaker 4: they thought it was great for the Germans, thought it
- 27:59Speaker 4: was great us in Lenin into Russia, you know, because
- 28:02Speaker 4: it was going to be stabilize Azar and it didn't
- 28:05Speaker 4: work out well did it lost term? I don't know.
- 28:07Speaker 4: I don't know what the I don't know what the
- 28:09Speaker 4: answer is. How it's going to turn out, do you
- 28:11Speaker 4: what do you think?
- 28:12Speaker 2: I don't know. But it's not going to be good
- 28:14Speaker 2: for the midterms, right, I mean, this really helps the
- 28:16Speaker 2: Republicans in the midterms, this communist.
- 28:18Speaker 4: Movement, Yeah, yeah, definitely, because these people are these people
- 28:22Speaker 4: are all fraudulent.
- 28:23Speaker 2: I mean, none of.
- 28:23Speaker 4: These people are actually like from New York, right. I
- 28:26Speaker 4: mean it's one thing to you know, move move here,
- 28:30Speaker 4: you know, uh, you know, when you're when you're a student,
- 28:33Speaker 4: a freshman at NYU or Saint John's or somewhere. But
- 28:36Speaker 4: none of these people have ever lived in New York.
- 28:38Speaker 4: I mean that the one with the heat job in Brooklyn.
- 28:41Speaker 4: The state said she's just moved into the district a
- 28:44Speaker 4: year ago. It's gone from it's gone from get a
- 28:47Speaker 4: job to get a heat job in the Democrat Party.
- 28:50Speaker 2: Uh hey, speaking of Elizabeth Warren, were you the I
- 28:54Speaker 2: believe you were the first one to call her Pocahontas.
- 28:57Speaker 2: Is that true?
- 28:58Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 29:00Speaker 4: Things fake Indians. I was the first one to get
- 29:02Speaker 4: a copy of her book Pow Wow Chow, where she
- 29:04Speaker 4: lifted all these French recipes and said they were used
- 29:07Speaker 4: by her ancestors. On the Trail of Tears. Yeah, I mean,
- 29:12Speaker 4: she's she's just so fraudulent and it's so great. You know,
- 29:15Speaker 4: we keep playing that cut over and over again of
- 29:17Speaker 4: her saying about Graham Plattner, he's my he's my kind
- 29:21Speaker 4: of man. He's my kind of man. And of course,
- 29:24Speaker 4: though when you know, last night she doesn't go in
- 29:27Speaker 4: front of the camera and she puts out of her
- 29:29Speaker 4: her office, puts out a statement on social media. You know,
- 29:35Speaker 4: all these people are so humiliated. You know, Tim Waltz
- 29:39Speaker 4: was was going to help her out. Row Kanna Chuck
- 29:44Speaker 4: Shu at least Chuck Schumer was dragged kicking and screaming
- 29:47Speaker 4: to endorse him. But I love Bernie's. My favorite is
- 29:50Speaker 4: Bernie Sanders.
- 29:52Speaker 8: He's a problem of the boy class.
- 29:57Speaker 4: Went to Hodgkins School school.
- 30:04Speaker 2: What happened to Massachusetts? You used to turn out people
- 30:07Speaker 2: like Tip O'Neil, and now it's Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren?
- 30:10Speaker 2: What happened over there?
- 30:12Speaker 4: I mean, it's gonna go go further back. What about
- 30:14Speaker 4: Calvin Cool? It used to pretty He was a pretty
- 30:16Speaker 4: good president when you get right down to it. John
- 30:19Speaker 4: Adams wasn't bad either, you know. I mean what happened
- 30:24Speaker 4: to Massachusetts? I mean it's the same thing that happened
- 30:27Speaker 4: to Maine. I mean, Maine and Massachusetts used to be
- 30:29Speaker 4: the same state until eighteen twenty, you know, and it's
- 30:33Speaker 4: it's Massachusetts has been overrun by these beautiful people, you know,
- 30:37Speaker 4: and they just they come in to go to school
- 30:39Speaker 4: and they never leave. They have trust funds, you know,
- 30:42Speaker 4: Mater and Pater are supporting them. And they work for
- 30:45Speaker 4: the you know, the nonprofit or the or the National
- 30:49Speaker 4: Panhandler Radio or something like that, and they go far left,
- 30:53Speaker 4: and you know there's i mean, there's basically no Republican
- 30:56Speaker 4: Party left in Massachusetts anymore.
- 30:58Speaker 2: Yeah, well we should talk. I mean it's pretty much
- 31:01Speaker 2: the same here too, We've got the same problem. But hey,
- 31:05Speaker 2: Howie Carr's latest book is mass Corruption. Everybody should get
- 31:08Speaker 2: the book. And you got a volume two coming out
- 31:11Speaker 2: pretty soon.

- 31:14Speaker 4: last few weeks. It should be out by Labor Day.

- 31:54Speaker 2: Thanks, take care, take care. Hey, coming up, We've got
- 31:58Speaker 2: a lot to get to in the h and the
- 32:01Speaker 2: rest of the show. Bill O'Reilly will be here later.
- 32:03Speaker 2: I think he was a well we'll get to him
- 32:05Speaker 2: on Platner and a whole lot more and now I
- 32:07Speaker 2: don't forget. At noon it's Buck Sexton and Clay Travis.
- 32:11Speaker 2: They do a wonderful show every day twelve noon. Then
- 32:13Speaker 2: at three o'clock. He got the most listened to radio
- 32:16Speaker 2: show in America, Sean Hannity. You got Jesse Kelly at six,
- 32:21Speaker 2: Jimmy Fayla every night it's you love his show. If
- 32:24Speaker 2: you haven't heard it, you got to listen every night
- 32:26Speaker 2: nine and midnight. Interesting but funny, very very funny show
- 32:29Speaker 2: every night at nine here on seven to ten WR
- 32:33Speaker 2: talking about everything you care about.
- 32:36Speaker 15: Mark Simones on WR.
- 32:42Speaker 2: It's gonna be cloudy today. Looks like there's a chance
- 32:44Speaker 2: on one more shower, like around three three o'clock, workock somewhere,
- 32:48Speaker 2: and then one more shower slight chance of it, fifty chance.
- 32:52Speaker 2: And then tomorrow's being the nicest day of the week, beautiful, sunny,
- 32:56Speaker 2: gonna play hooky do it tomorrow because Thursday chance of
- 33:00Speaker 2: thundershowers again, Friday chances thundershowers. Way, it's a lot better
- 33:04Speaker 2: than that heat wave. That was brutal. Hey, we got
- 33:08Speaker 2: a lot to get to and the next hour we'll
- 33:10Speaker 2: get to the Charlie Kirk assassin on trial. We'll get
- 33:14Speaker 2: back to crazy Grand Platner, and a whole lot more.
- 33:17Speaker 2: Another hour to go. Right after the news seven to
- 33:19Speaker 2: ten WR.
- 33:22Speaker 1: Mister New York, Mark Simone, He's on seven ten WR.
- 33:32Speaker 2: Hey, a lot going on. Now, there's a it's a
- 33:34Speaker 2: pretty bad situation there. Forty second Street between second and third,
- 33:40Speaker 2: Stay away from that area. Forty second three between second
- 33:44Speaker 2: and third. There's remember the Pfeiser building, Pfiser headquarters was
- 33:49Speaker 2: on that block, and it's a big skyscraper. Well, Pfiser's
- 33:53Speaker 2: I guess moved out and they've been doing massive construction
- 33:56Speaker 2: in that building. And the building became on stable and
- 34:00Speaker 2: started to buckle. I mean the support beams were actually
- 34:04Speaker 2: buckling as the construction was going on, and floors started
- 34:09Speaker 2: to cave in in this building and bricks flying off
- 34:14Speaker 2: the building. Now, luckily all the construction workers managed to
- 34:17Speaker 2: get out of the building safely, but the whole block
- 34:21Speaker 2: is closed. The area around there is massive chaos. It's
- 34:25Speaker 2: fire trucks and emergency vehicles. Forty second between second and third,
- 34:30Speaker 2: So you don't want to go anywhere near there. And
- 34:32Speaker 2: that's a busy area with the un and everything. I
- 34:35Speaker 2: used to work on that block forty second between second
- 34:38Speaker 2: and third. When I first came to New York, I
- 34:40Speaker 2: was on WPIX FM. You remember that station. Well, it
- 34:44Speaker 2: was in the Daily News building because it was owned
- 34:46Speaker 2: by the Daily News, then the largest newspaper in America.
- 34:51Speaker 2: And that was forty second between second and third, right
- 34:53Speaker 2: across from the Sfeiser building. And then next door is
- 34:56Speaker 2: the hotel. It was the Helmsley Hotels called something else.
- 34:59Speaker 2: Now what else on that block. It's the two biggest
- 35:04Speaker 2: landmarks on that block. And then actually forty second and third, Yeah,
- 35:10Speaker 2: I worked on that corner too. That's where WNEW was
- 35:14Speaker 2: forty second and third. That's the building where the Autumn
- 35:16Speaker 2: at was. So I know that block. Well, it'll be
- 35:21Speaker 2: closed off. This is a bad, bad situation. It's a
- 35:24Speaker 2: big skyscraper, support beams, buckling, floors caving in just to stabilize.
- 35:29Speaker 2: This could take a long long time. This block could
- 35:33Speaker 2: be closed for quite a while. And you gotta worry
- 35:38Speaker 2: about the building collapse. You gotta worry about all kinds
- 35:40Speaker 2: of things, So I don't see this block getting open
- 35:42Speaker 2: for a long time. Hey, Iran, as we mentioned last hour,
- 35:49Speaker 2: been cheating like crazy. All of a sudden work taking
- 35:52Speaker 2: place at some of their nuclear sites by them, So
- 35:56Speaker 2: who knows what they're up to now. You got to
- 35:58Speaker 2: remember the president has had this peace agreement, and this
- 36:04Speaker 2: has been going on for a couple of months. He's
- 36:05Speaker 2: waited a long time, so we may have to go
- 36:08Speaker 2: in and finish the job. But the good part of
- 36:10Speaker 2: all this is because of the two to three months
- 36:13Speaker 2: of peace agreements giving them a chance. Months a couple
- 36:17Speaker 2: of months have given them a chance. That kind of
- 36:20Speaker 2: gives them the ok to now go in on a
- 36:23Speaker 2: much higher level than last time. I mean, you know,
- 36:25Speaker 2: last time we were taken out military stuff, we were
- 36:28Speaker 2: taken out nuclear stuff. But you can't go in and
- 36:31Speaker 2: just wipe out a whole country. You can't just go
- 36:33Speaker 2: wipe out everything. But you kind of can do it now.
- 36:36Speaker 2: Because he was at least optics wise, it looked like
- 36:40Speaker 2: he was being pretty fair. Gave them plenty of time,
- 36:43Speaker 2: gave them a preace agreement, gave them plenty of chances,
- 36:46Speaker 2: months and months and months of chances. So it gives
- 36:51Speaker 2: them license now to go in if we have to
- 36:54Speaker 2: really wipe out stuff to do it now, so that
- 36:56Speaker 2: could I know they're planning all of that right now.
- 37:00Speaker 2: Trump is in Turkey today for the NATO summit, and
- 37:03Speaker 2: I imagine in the most secret private meetings, that's what
- 37:06Speaker 2: they're discussing, finishing off Iran. Turkey is of course not
- 37:13Speaker 2: a friend of ours. The President Trump meeting with air
- 37:17Speaker 2: Dowan and Turkey air to one wants to buy aircraft
- 37:20Speaker 2: and all kinds of fighter jets, that kind of stuff.
- 37:23Speaker 2: Israel publicly saying don't sell them anything because they're the
- 37:27Speaker 2: worst people in the world there and who knows who
- 37:30Speaker 2: they'll help or support. So we'll see what happens at
- 37:34Speaker 2: the end. He's there today, then tomorrow, then comes back Platner, Well,
- 37:41Speaker 2: he's out. He said he's suspending, he's reflecting. What did
- 37:44Speaker 2: he say? What do you say reflecting that he's reflecting,
- 37:47Speaker 2: which he also said, let me see he says suspending here.
- 37:51Speaker 6: So regardless of the inaccuracy of the reporting, but mindful
- 37:55Speaker 6: of political reality, it will inflect. We are taking the
- 37:58Speaker 6: time to reflect on the best path forward.
- 38:00Speaker 2: Yeah, reflecting. I guess he didn't want to use the
- 38:04Speaker 2: word suspending. But whenever you reflect or suspend, nobody's ever
- 38:08Speaker 2: I can't think of any campaign that ever came back
- 38:10Speaker 2: after suspending. Now you can always count on Fetterman to
- 38:16Speaker 2: be the one still saying still rational Democrat. A Fetterman
- 38:21Speaker 2: never backed a platinir, and now Fetterman is demanding that
- 38:26Speaker 2: Bernie Sanders apologize for backing this predator. You should include
- 38:31Speaker 2: Elizabeth Warren in that. Actually, Warren, I mean, listen to Warren.
- 38:37Speaker 2: Everybody's playing this clip over and over again. This is Warren.
- 38:39Speaker 7: A few weeks ago, I said to myself, that's my
- 38:43Speaker 7: kind of man, because that is a man who not
- 38:51Speaker 7: only has the values, but a man who believes in accountability.
- 38:58Speaker 2: Yeah, a history of rape, lying. He's got a huge
- 39:01Speaker 2: Nazi death camp tattoo all over his chest. That's what
- 39:05Speaker 2: did she say?
- 39:06Speaker 7: I said to myself, that's my kind of man.
- 39:10Speaker 2: Yeah. So a Fetterman, as this morning, demanded an apology
- 39:15Speaker 2: from Bernie Sanders. I really call on Bernie Sanders to
- 39:18Speaker 2: apologize for pushing this kind of predator more than anyone.
- 39:23Speaker 2: And we'll see. I don't think Bernie Sanders didn't say anything.
- 39:27Speaker 2: Elizabeth Warren wouldn't say anything. Her office put out a
- 39:30Speaker 2: statement she didn't want to actually, says. Sanders has remained silent.
- 39:36Speaker 2: Fox News says they tried to contact his office for
- 39:38Speaker 2: some kind of statement. Silent. He would not give a
- 39:42Speaker 2: statement about this. Yesterday was the beginning of the court
- 39:47Speaker 2: hearings for the assassin that killed Charlie Kirk. It's tough
- 39:53Speaker 2: to watch, very tough to watch the assassin. It's a
- 39:56Speaker 2: nice looking guy, and he's sort of if you didn't know,
- 39:59Speaker 2: he's like a normal looking guy like that Luigi Mangione
- 40:04Speaker 2: looks a little nuts. This guy, although it's just a
- 40:07Speaker 2: shot from the side, he didn't look that nuts, but
- 40:10Speaker 2: obviously he is. Erica Kirk, the widow, was there with
- 40:15Speaker 2: Charlie's parents and other family members that had us sit
- 40:18Speaker 2: there in the courtroom and look at this assassin. Officer
- 40:22Speaker 2: Charles Begley, he's the witness heard the rifle shot, watched
- 40:26Speaker 2: Charlie Kirk get shot. He was testifying yesterday. The accused assassin,
- 40:31Speaker 2: Tyler Robinson, who does face the death penalty they have
- 40:35Speaker 2: it in that state, was actually seen smiling while talking
- 40:38Speaker 2: to his attorney at various points. Robinson appeared in a
- 40:42Speaker 2: gray suit shackled at the wrists seems stoic, as prosecutors
- 40:47Speaker 2: displayed photos of the campus and rooftop from which he
- 40:51Speaker 2: allegedly shot the Turning Point USA Founder. So it was rough.
- 40:54Speaker 2: Donald Trump Junior was there in the courtroom, very close
- 40:57Speaker 2: to Charlie Kirk. He flew in for that and it
- 41:01Speaker 2: was very, very tough. Now they played video. I don't
- 41:04Speaker 2: know if you've ever seen the actual video of when
- 41:07Speaker 2: Charlie Kirk is hit by the bullet. It is I
- 41:10Speaker 2: do not recommend you'll watch it. You'll never forget it.
- 41:12Speaker 2: It's so hideous and graphic and it's awful. They had
- 41:16Speaker 2: to show it in the courtroom, and they say even
- 41:18Speaker 2: the judge winced. Even the judge who's been through a
- 41:21Speaker 2: million of these cases winced. You can see his head
- 41:24Speaker 2: go back. It was tough for even the judge to
- 41:27Speaker 2: see it. So well, I think we're done with the fireworks.
- 41:32Speaker 2: Fourth of July. Those fireworks it's getting out of control.
- 41:36Speaker 2: I mean, it's great to see Macy's fireworks. The ones
- 41:38Speaker 2: in DC were the biggest and best ever in America.
- 41:42Speaker 2: The small towns, the suburbs, they all do you know
- 41:44Speaker 2: three or four fireworks. But the worst thing is these
- 41:47Speaker 2: amateur fireworks. A lot of just regular amateur civilians getting
- 41:52Speaker 2: a hold of fireworks and just firing them off on
- 41:54Speaker 2: Fourth of July, causing all kinds of problems. It's caused fires,
- 41:58Speaker 2: it's caused injuries. And look at this Brooklyn high rise.
- 42:03Speaker 2: It was hit with fireworks. Tenants. The Brooklyn high Rise
- 42:06Speaker 2: has balconies, so a lot of people going out to
- 42:09Speaker 2: watch the Macy's fireworks and then getting hit. One woman says,
- 42:12Speaker 2: I got hit in the chest with the fireworks, and
- 42:14Speaker 2: the fireworks are hitting this building, damaging windows. This is
- 42:17Speaker 2: just from idiots in the neighborhood sending them off onlookers,
- 42:21Speaker 2: getting showered with sparks, rooftop party goers fleeing. Actually, although
- 42:28Speaker 2: the good news is nine to one, they get complaints
- 42:31Speaker 2: from people illegally setting off fireworks. They said they got
- 42:33Speaker 2: less less calls this year, twenty two hundred. Last year
- 42:37Speaker 2: it was thirty one hundred. So I guess it's improving
- 42:40Speaker 2: a little. Hey that crazy mom, Donnie our crazy amateur mayor.
- 42:50Speaker 2: Now this is not good. In the new budget. He's
- 42:52Speaker 2: got this crazy new budget that's absolutely insane. Remember, so
- 42:56Speaker 2: total amateur doesn't know anything about management or running city
- 43:00Speaker 2: and certainly knows nothing about budgets. Allowed this budget to
- 43:04Speaker 2: go through. That is absolutely ludicrous. It's one hundred and
- 43:07Speaker 2: twenty six billion for a New York City. It probably
- 43:10Speaker 2: should be like one third of that. This is like
- 43:14Speaker 2: double the budget of Florida, and Florida has more people
- 43:17Speaker 2: than New York a lot more people in New York City,
- 43:20Speaker 2: so it's insane. Now, the Department of Education is a
- 43:25Speaker 2: total disaster. The New York City Department of Education is
- 43:31Speaker 2: absolute disaster. Kids are not being taught anything. The scores
- 43:36Speaker 2: that get coming out of the New York City schools
- 43:39Speaker 2: are disastrous. Half of them can't read. I mean, it's
- 43:42Speaker 2: just a disaster in these schools, and the budget on
- 43:46Speaker 2: them is way way too high. They should cut the
- 43:49Speaker 2: budget dramatically, which would mean getting rid of layers and
- 43:54Speaker 2: layers and layers of bureaucracy. That's the problem with our
- 43:57Speaker 2: Board of Education. Every time you throw a dollar in
- 44:00Speaker 2: and maybe four cents gets to the classroom, the rest
- 44:03Speaker 2: of it eaten up by layers and layers and layers
- 44:06Speaker 2: and layers of bureaucracy that served no purpose. So as
- 44:09Speaker 2: bad as this is, as much as you need to
- 44:11Speaker 2: cut that out, all that waste and fat in the
- 44:15Speaker 2: Department of Education. In the new budget, it turns out
- 44:18Speaker 2: Mamdani quietly added eight hundred million to this eight hundred million,
- 44:22Speaker 2: that's what he added to the school's budget. Our Department
- 44:26Speaker 2: of Education currently is getting the hold on to something.
- 44:31Speaker 2: Our Department of Education is currently getting thirty eight billion,
- 44:36Speaker 2: thirty eight billions. That's preposterous. It should be five billion,
- 44:42Speaker 2: maybe maybe at the most. And again this is more.
- 44:46Speaker 2: Thirty eight billion is more than the budget of most cities.
- 44:50Speaker 2: And our Department of Education is a total disaster. Nobody's
- 44:54Speaker 2: learning anything. So this is Mamdani continuing this, actually expanding
- 44:59Speaker 2: this disase. The other thing is in the butt. You know,
- 45:03Speaker 2: we're supposed to put in more policemen because we're losing
- 45:07Speaker 2: cops by the thousands. They're retiring. So mom, Donnie did
- 45:11Speaker 2: not put in any money for the police out of
- 45:14Speaker 2: this new budget. Nothing, nothing, So you're not replacing anybody.
- 45:21Speaker 2: And it's basically he's defunding the police. He's found a
- 45:24Speaker 2: way to do it, a way to shrink the police
- 45:26Speaker 2: force because as they retire by the thousands, he could
- 45:30Speaker 2: bring down the amount of officers down by five thousand
- 45:34Speaker 2: in the next couple of years, which is absolutely disastrous.
- 45:37Speaker 2: We're already way below the number we should have, way
- 45:41Speaker 2: below the number we usually have. You know, this department
- 45:43Speaker 2: was up to forty thousand, I think forty two thousand
- 45:46Speaker 2: at one point, it's down around thirty thousand. There's not
- 45:49Speaker 2: enough cops and he's causing this, this defunding by just
- 45:56Speaker 2: not replacing the cops that are retiring, and obviously they're
- 45:59Speaker 2: retiring in a much bigger pace. Now, Hey, good news,
- 46:02Speaker 2: Bruce Blakeman. In the real Pulse. Forget these public poles.
- 46:05Speaker 2: Those are just cheap, flimsy, stupid public pulse. The real poles,
- 46:10Speaker 2: the behind the scenes, super expensive, scientific, deadly accurate poles
- 46:14Speaker 2: have Blakeman almost he's catching up. He was said twenty
- 46:18Speaker 2: points behind a couple of weeks ago. He used eight
- 46:21Speaker 2: points behind. Looks like he's about six points behind right
- 46:24Speaker 2: now in the real Poles. That's important. Blakeman wants to
- 46:28Speaker 2: debate Kathy Hochel. She is ducking him. She will not
- 46:32Speaker 2: debate him because if it's a debate and everybody's watching,
- 46:36Speaker 2: he's going to just rattle off some stuff in front
- 46:38Speaker 2: of her. You know, our electric bills went crazy then.
- 46:41Speaker 2: You know it used to be one hundred a month,
- 46:43Speaker 2: it's four hundred a month. The electric bills are going crazy.
- 46:45Speaker 2: First Cuomo shuts down Indian Point, and then after Hokel
- 46:50Speaker 2: got in, she started putting all kinds of fees and
- 46:53Speaker 2: taxes on your electric bill to pay for these stupid
- 46:55Speaker 2: green scheme things. So she has increased your electric bill
- 46:59Speaker 2: deliberately with all these taxes she's putting on electricity, and
- 47:04Speaker 2: he's going to bring that up. Also, she refuses to
- 47:06Speaker 2: take the net. We're sitting on a ton of natural
- 47:08Speaker 2: gas underneath us here in New York State. She refuses
- 47:12Speaker 2: to drill. It refuses well, at the same time buying
- 47:16Speaker 2: natural gas from Pennsylvania. We got our own natural gas here.
- 47:20Speaker 2: She could bring your electric bill down by about two
- 47:22Speaker 2: hundred percent easily, just do this. So he's going to
- 47:25Speaker 2: bring all that up in a debate. She does not
- 47:27Speaker 2: want that said publicly with her standing there, so he's
- 47:30Speaker 2: trying to debate her. She keeps stuck on him. But
- 47:33Speaker 2: Bruce Blakeman, he'd be a great governor. He want to help.
- 47:36Speaker 2: Go to Blakemanfronew York dot com. If you I hope
- 47:39Speaker 2: he wins, will help him win. Go to Bruce, go
- 47:43Speaker 2: to Blakeman from New York dot com blakemanfro New York
- 47:47Speaker 2: dot com and donate or volunteer or whatever you can do. Hey,
- 47:52Speaker 2: we'll take some calls next. Eight hundred three to two
- 47:54Speaker 2: one zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three
- 47:58Speaker 2: two one zero seven.
- 48:01Speaker 1: Live from the WR Life Back Studios bill Mark Demon Show.
- 48:08Speaker 2: Hey, we'll take some calls. If you haven't called this before,
- 48:11Speaker 2: Let's get some new callers. If you haven't called this before.
- 48:13Speaker 2: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 48:18Speaker 2: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten. Let's go
- 48:22Speaker 2: to Uh, let's go to Catherine Waterford, Connecticut. That's way
- 48:27Speaker 2: out there, Catherine, how you doing?
- 48:28Speaker 15: Yes, Hey, good morning Mark.
- 48:31Speaker 5: Uh.
- 48:31Speaker 15: It caught my attention. I noticed in the town that
- 48:34Speaker 15: I grew up in, Connecticut, a blueskate that despite the
- 48:37Speaker 15: fact that the student enrollment from K to twelve has
- 48:41Speaker 15: remained pretty much stagnant at for static, I guess that's
- 48:45Speaker 15: the word, at around four thousand for take twenty five
- 48:48Speaker 15: on the given year, and yet the board of that
- 48:50Speaker 15: is almost quadrupled in the last thirty years.
- 48:54Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just become a bull, you know, inefficient bureaucracy.
- 48:57Speaker 2: You're absolutely right.
- 48:58Speaker 15: And now they want you to you know, they want
- 49:01Speaker 15: a new building, they want everything.
- 49:02Speaker 2: And I'm like, oh my god, and where are you
- 49:05Speaker 2: driving to? You sound like you're in your car.
- 49:07Speaker 8: I'm in Waterford now, Oh sorry, I'm luck here where
- 49:11Speaker 8: my son and daughter live.
- 49:14Speaker 15: He just finished up twenty three years in submarine duties.
- 49:18Speaker 2: Oh yeah, Waterford is near New London. A big naval
- 49:21Speaker 2: base there.
- 49:22Speaker 15: Uh huh yeah, the Coast Guard, the submarine base, two
- 49:26Speaker 15: other things.
- 49:27Speaker 2: Oh very good. All right, well thanks for calling. Let's
- 49:30Speaker 2: go to Kevin and Long Island. Kevin, how you doing, hey.
- 49:34Speaker 12: Mark, Big fans of the show listen all the time.
- 49:38Speaker 12: I wanted to touch base with you on late night TV. Yes,
- 49:41Speaker 12: I go back to Carson. You know, I wasn't around
- 49:45Speaker 12: for before Carson, but then after Carson, when.
- 49:48Speaker 8: You had Leno and all those other guys.
- 49:51Speaker 12: My favorite was actually Craig Ferguson, And you never mentioned
- 49:55Speaker 12: Craig Ferguson. I want to know what you think about him.
- 49:57Speaker 2: He was very very good, very very good, but he
- 50:01Speaker 2: was kind of the not the late night show. He
- 50:04Speaker 2: was the late late night show out of all the
- 50:07Speaker 2: late late shows. The Letterman, Tom Snyder, Seth Myers is
- 50:12Speaker 2: just awful, the worst. But you're right. Craig Ferguson, very good.
- 50:15Speaker 2: A lot of YouTube videos watch your Don Rickolson. Craig Ferguson,
- 50:19Speaker 2: excellent stuff. A good point. Hey, if you haven't read
- 50:24Speaker 2: the new Carson book by Mark Malcoff, get the book.
- 50:28Speaker 2: It's called Love Johnny Carson. It is the greatest book
- 50:31Speaker 2: ever written on Johnny Carson, the Tonight show called Love
- 50:35Speaker 2: Johnny Carson. It's on Amazon, Mark Malcoff, get it. You'll
- 50:39Speaker 2: love it. Actually, we'll get him back on the show soon.
- 50:41Speaker 2: Let's go to Christine in Manhattan. Christine, how you doing?
- 50:46Speaker 16: Hi?
- 50:47Speaker 14: Mark, thank you for your great show. I have a question.
- 50:51Speaker 14: I live in Manhattan. I have not seen hide nor
- 50:55Speaker 14: Hair of Ice anywhere, and there's what I view as
- 50:59Speaker 14: a growing problem, but more and more hostility from illegal
- 51:03Speaker 14: aliens that work in different businesses like a coffee shop
- 51:08Speaker 14: or a pizza parlor, and they're becoming very hostile and nasty.
- 51:13Speaker 14: You're white.
- 51:14Speaker 2: I think that's just you, and they're nice to all
- 51:16Speaker 2: of us. I think it's you I'm kidding. I'm kidding.
- 51:19Speaker 2: What I'm kidding?
- 51:21Speaker 8: Well?
- 51:21Speaker 14: Where is Ice? Why aren't these people being cleared out
- 51:24Speaker 14: of here?
- 51:25Speaker 2: What part of Manhattan? Are you in?
- 51:27Speaker 14: Lower East Side?
- 51:30Speaker 2: So? How long you been there?
- 51:32Speaker 14: Many years?
- 51:33Speaker 2: So you saw the transformation. It used to be like
- 51:35Speaker 2: the Lower east Side, really old world stuff. Now it's
- 51:38Speaker 2: clubs and nightclubs and trendy restaurants. It's probably driving.
- 51:42Speaker 14: Well, the clubs and disappearing. We're sort of dead now
- 51:46Speaker 14: because of the congestion, pricing, so there's nothing left here
- 51:52Speaker 14: and people are really suffering businesses things like that.
- 51:55Speaker 2: All right, Well, all of you illegals, do you ever
- 52:01Speaker 2: leave a tip? Do you ever leave a tip?
- 52:04Speaker 14: I don't want to talk about tips.
- 52:06Speaker 5: I want to know where was I.
- 52:07Speaker 2: I think she's not tipping. I think that's why they're
- 52:09Speaker 2: always nasty to you, son.
- 52:12Speaker 17: Of your business.
- 52:14Speaker 2: I see why that nasty to you? A little uh
- 52:16Speaker 2: cold there, Christine, a little hostile. Let's go to Nancy
- 52:20Speaker 2: in New Jersey. Nancy, how you doing?
- 52:23Speaker 17: Okay? Mark? I just wanted you to know that the
- 52:26Speaker 17: nickname for Elizabeth Warren originally was faux Cahantas, as in
- 52:30Speaker 17: fake Pocahontas. Pocahontas, and nobody's using that anymore. Did you
- 52:35Speaker 17: call your pocahontas Pocahontas?
- 52:37Speaker 2: Is better pokeon, but it was because it's a fake, right, No, Pocahontas.
- 52:43Speaker 2: She's a fake Indian, so you call her Pocahontas. But
- 52:45Speaker 2: it was Howie car that started that. President Trump's a
- 52:48Speaker 2: big Howie Car fan. He picked it up and started
- 52:50Speaker 2: using it, and it.
- 52:51Speaker 12: Really caught on, I know, but originally was Pocahontas.
- 52:54Speaker 2: Anyway, not as good as Pocahontas. I like Pocahontas. Okay,
- 52:57Speaker 2: all right, thanks for calling. Let's go to Bill in
- 53:00Speaker 2: New Jersey. Bill, how you doing good?
- 53:03Speaker 8: Thank you? Mark?
- 53:04Speaker 4: Mark?
- 53:05Speaker 16: How many more Americans have to be killed and injured
- 53:09Speaker 16: because the Democrats insist on giving large truck licenses to
- 53:14Speaker 16: illegals who cannot read road signs.
- 53:17Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a big problem. A lot of illegal aliens,
- 53:19Speaker 2: thanks to Democrats, are getting driver's licenes they can't read English,
- 53:23Speaker 2: and it's caused major accidents. And he's right, it's caused
- 53:26Speaker 2: a lot of deaths around the country. Hey, now there's
- 53:29Speaker 2: another caller named Bill in New Jersey. Maybe we'll make
- 53:32Speaker 2: that a feature. We'll just take calls from people named
- 53:34Speaker 2: Bill in New Jersey. Let's go to the other Bill
- 53:36Speaker 2: in New Jersey. Bill, how you doing good?
- 53:39Speaker 10: Good good? And that is William J.
- 53:41Speaker 8: My full name.
- 53:43Speaker 10: Great calls from the previous callers the Johnny Carson Show,
- 53:47Speaker 10: and Greg Ferguson is good. I wish you would come
- 53:50Speaker 10: back on a mainstream station to make people laugh. But
- 53:56Speaker 10: my buddy, my old high school buddy, held a que
- 53:59Speaker 10: cars for the Johnny Carson Monologue Show, and I was
- 54:03Speaker 10: on the show a lot because I was working on
- 54:06Speaker 10: the thirty nine floor at thirty Rock. But Johnny Carson
- 54:09Speaker 10: would never go to Sardis with the gang. He would
- 54:12Speaker 10: go home to Park Avenue and he would drink a
- 54:16Speaker 10: lot of vodka.
- 54:17Speaker 2: Well, I guess that was entirely accurate. When Johnny Carson
- 54:21Speaker 2: before the Tonight Show, he did a game show called
- 54:23Speaker 2: Who Do You Trust? It was next door to Sartis,
- 54:25Speaker 2: and he spent a lot of time in Sardis. And
- 54:27Speaker 2: then in later years when he was doing the Tonight
- 54:29Speaker 2: Show in New York, he was out a lot of nights.
- 54:32Speaker 2: He was in Gilly's, he was in Danny's Hideaway, he
- 54:34Speaker 2: was in Michael's pub. He was in Basin Street East.
- 54:37Speaker 2: He was quite the party guy all over New York
- 54:40Speaker 2: out a.
- 54:41Speaker 10: Lot, and he used to say, once he admitted he
- 54:47Speaker 10: was an alcoholic, somebody said, well, why don't you drink anymore,
- 54:51Speaker 10: and he said, I'm not a happy drunk, I'm a
- 54:54Speaker 10: bad drunk.
- 54:55Speaker 2: Yeah. He got in a lot of fights with He
- 54:57Speaker 2: had an incredible talent for. Dangerfields was another place he went.
- 55:01Speaker 2: He had an incredible talent for when he got drunk
- 55:04Speaker 2: and he'd go out, he'd hit on some woman, like inappropriately,
- 55:08Speaker 2: like drunkenly. He had an incredible talent for the woman
- 55:11Speaker 2: he would hit on for always picking the girlfriend of
- 55:14Speaker 2: a mobster who had just gone to the men's room.
- 55:16Speaker 2: So a couple of times he almost got killed. The
- 55:21Speaker 2: most famous one was in Jilly's where he hit on
- 55:23Speaker 2: this woman and started groping her. He was drunk, very drunk,
- 55:28Speaker 2: and she was the girlfriend of Joey Gallo and he
- 55:32Speaker 2: was going to kill him. An official contract was out
- 55:35Speaker 2: on Carson. He had to leave. He couldn't do that
- 55:38Speaker 2: tonight show for a few nights. They had to hide
- 55:39Speaker 2: him away and lock him up. It finally got settled.
- 55:43Speaker 2: Somebody at NBC had enough mob connections to try to
- 55:46Speaker 2: get it setled, and it was Frank Sinatra who stepped
- 55:48Speaker 2: in and convinced Joey Gallo to drop the hit on Carson.
- 55:53Speaker 2: It took him like a week before he could come
- 55:55Speaker 2: back to work. Hey, when we come back, Bill O'Reilly
- 55:58Speaker 2: will be with us. He's got a great book out.
- 56:00Speaker 2: We'll talk to Bill O'Reilly next about Graham Plattner, about
- 56:04Speaker 2: all sorts of stuff coming up on seven to ten wor.
- 56:08Speaker 1: He's always a headline ahead, Mark Simon seven to ten
- 56:12Speaker 1: wo r.
- 56:13Speaker 5: Well.
- 56:13Speaker 2: Bill O'Reilly, the number one TV anchor for a decade's
- 56:16Speaker 2: number one best selling nonfiction author on Earth up and
- 56:19Speaker 2: reading his new book it's coming out. It's great. He's
- 56:21Speaker 2: got a new podcast called We'll Do It Live. It's excellent,
- 56:26Speaker 2: one great guest after another Will Do It Live. And
- 56:29Speaker 2: you can go to YouTube. You can go to his
- 56:31Speaker 2: YouTube channel, Bill O'Reilly on YouTube. But the best thing
- 56:34Speaker 2: is you go to Bill O'Reilly dot com. You get
- 56:36Speaker 2: everything there, the book, the podcast, the YouTube channel, the
- 56:39Speaker 2: TV show, the column billoreilly dot com. Bill O'Reilly, congratulations,
- 56:44Speaker 2: I love the new book.
- 56:46Speaker 8: Thank you for reading, and you know.
- 56:47Speaker 18: I said it to five people, this is absolutely true,
- 56:52Speaker 18: And I said, who who knows me the best? Because
- 56:56Speaker 18: it's a little bit different confronting America? What have to change?
- 57:01Speaker 18: A little bit different than killing the witches or confronting
- 57:05Speaker 18: evil because it's based on my face to face encounters
- 57:11Speaker 18: throughout my career. I said, who knows me? Who could
- 57:14Speaker 18: give me an honest assessment? So simone, your name popped
- 57:17Speaker 18: up and then you got the first of five copies
- 57:20Speaker 18: that went out.
- 57:21Speaker 2: Well, tell us who are the other for? Can you
- 57:23Speaker 2: reveal it?
- 57:24Speaker 8: No?
- 57:24Speaker 18: I can't really reveal it because they'd have to leave
- 57:28Speaker 18: the country.
- 57:28Speaker 8: They'd be deported.
- 57:30Speaker 2: It's quite a riveting book because it's more it really
- 57:33Speaker 2: and it takes it through your journey through war zones,
- 57:36Speaker 2: through everywhere, through Harvard through It's a fascinating look at
- 57:40Speaker 2: the news business and all of that that must have
- 57:44Speaker 2: taken longer than your usual books. It's a question.
- 57:46Speaker 8: Yeah, it was a killer for me because I couldn't
- 57:49Speaker 8: use researcher on it. It was all, as.
- 57:53Speaker 18: You point out, a personal journey. But I don't think
- 57:58Speaker 18: that I was unfair to anyone. I had to keep
- 58:02Speaker 18: that in mind because we're talking about Dan. Rather, we're
- 58:05Speaker 18: talking about Mike Wallace. We're talking about the biggest.
- 58:07Speaker 8: Names in the media and in show business, Jack Nicholson,
- 58:13Speaker 8: Clint Eastwood, and the encounters.
- 58:15Speaker 18: That I had with them, some good, some bad. And
- 58:19Speaker 18: so I think that people when they read it, will
- 58:22Speaker 18: get a good perspective of where this country is as
- 58:26Speaker 18: far as how it's changed and it has, you know,
- 58:31Speaker 18: over the Foroyd July, I was cruising around just and
- 58:35Speaker 18: I was happy with the response of the American people,
- 58:38Speaker 18: most of whom were very respectful to our nation and
- 58:43Speaker 18: our founders, but there were some who weren't. I mean,
- 58:46Speaker 18: this Newport, California thing where the ANTIFA all got together
- 58:51Speaker 18: to loot the town, I mean, you know, that's the
- 58:53Speaker 18: kind of thing that's going to have to be confronted.
- 58:56Speaker 18: But what struck me locally was, ma'am, Donnie, he really
- 59:01Speaker 18: hates America. I mean he really does. And you know,
- 59:07Speaker 18: you got the guy with the smile and he's up there,
- 59:09Speaker 18: he's jumping into fountains or whatever he's doing, but.
- 59:14Speaker 8: He really despises this country.
- 59:17Speaker 18: And when you listen to what he said, I'm going
- 59:20Speaker 18: to use it on the No Spin News tonight. When
- 59:22Speaker 18: you really listen. It is so close to Maosee Toungue
- 59:28Speaker 18: and what Mao believed. It's frightening. And I know that,
- 59:35Speaker 18: ma'am Donnie studied Mao and Stalin and all of these people,
- 59:41Speaker 18: and along with his godfather Bernie Sanders. I mean, these
- 59:45Speaker 18: people are out for vengeance, Simone, and I don't think
- 59:50Speaker 18: they're gonna win, but boy, they're gonna try. And to
- 59:55Speaker 18: be elected mayor of the nation's largest city is a
- 59:58Speaker 18: frightening a current. It's when you really understand the guy's psychology.
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: Yeah, I heard him a couple of times. He used
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: the word decommodify housing. Decommodify. That's an actual Karl Marx word.
- 1:00:11Speaker 18: Yes, yes, he is very steeped in that. And it's
- 1:00:16Speaker 18: because of his father. So if you trace him back
- 1:00:20Speaker 18: as we have, because I always want to know why.
- 1:00:23Speaker 8: People do what they do.
- 1:00:25Speaker 18: It's not enough for me to know what they do.
- 1:00:27Speaker 18: I want to know why they do it. And if
- 1:00:30Speaker 18: you look back at his father as an academic, his
- 1:00:34Speaker 18: father is the same way. Now, why you would stay
- 1:00:40Speaker 18: here in this country when Donnie was born in Kenya? Okay,
- 1:00:47Speaker 18: if it's so bad, you can go a lot of places.
- 1:00:51Speaker 18: You go back to Nairobi, Okay, But no, they have
- 1:00:56Speaker 18: to come here and try to under underpin our entire
- 1:01:04Speaker 18: system because there are poor people and there will always
- 1:01:08Speaker 18: be poor people always if you read the Bible, and
- 1:01:12Speaker 18: the poor will always be with us for one reason
- 1:01:15Speaker 18: or another. But what Mandani and his father are selling
- 1:01:20Speaker 18: is it's the regular folks, the cops, the teachers, all
- 1:01:26Speaker 18: the people. I grew up in Levittown where the problem
- 1:01:31Speaker 18: where the problem because we're not compassionate enough or we
- 1:01:36Speaker 18: don't give enough to the folks who don't make it.
- 1:01:40Speaker 18: And that's communism.
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: Yeah, Now, nobody has more poor people. In fact, everybody's poor.
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: And Uganda it's the worst place in the world. That's
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: where he's from. Why doesn't he ever complain about you Ganda?
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: Have you ever heard him say a bad word about that?
- 1:01:53Speaker 18: I think he has, you know, Thanks for correcting me.
- 1:01:56Speaker 18: I thought it was Kenya. They're adjacent countries, but they're
- 1:02:00Speaker 18: the same. The poverty, tribalism, on and on and on
- 1:02:04Speaker 18: and on.
- 1:02:05Speaker 8: I just don't get.
- 1:02:07Speaker 18: Look, I understand power, and part of confronting America is
- 1:02:12Speaker 18: the absolute corruption that occurs when a human being gets
- 1:02:19Speaker 18: power and uses it in a way that harms other people.
- 1:02:25Speaker 18: Nancy Pelosi is a great example of that. Tremendous.
- 1:02:29Speaker 8: Now, you can make an argument that Trump might be
- 1:02:32Speaker 8: in that category.
- 1:02:32Speaker 18: But Trump has always had power since he's eight years old.
- 1:02:37Speaker 8: Okay, so there's nothing new to him. But once Belosi
- 1:02:43Speaker 8: and Bernie Sanders and Bernie Sanders is the worst Okay,
- 1:02:48Speaker 8: once they tasted that power, ain't no stopping him.
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: Now, yeah, you're America's best selling historian. Has this happened
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: in the past in America's history where there was a
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: rise in communism on the left? Is this something?
- 1:03:06Speaker 16: Yeah?
- 1:03:06Speaker 18: It happened in the Great Depression in the late nineteen
- 1:03:10Speaker 18: twenties early nineteen thirties, when people just didn't have enough
- 1:03:14Speaker 18: to eat, and so they were lined up to get
- 1:03:18Speaker 18: food and the Hooverville's and they didn't anywhere to They
- 1:03:24Speaker 18: couldn't rent an apartment, they couldn't do anything. So there
- 1:03:27Speaker 18: was a rising socialism communism movement there, led by a
- 1:03:31Speaker 18: man named Eugene Debs Ebs, and it didn't go anywhere
- 1:03:37Speaker 18: because Roosevelt. President Roosevelt saw it coming and then instituted
- 1:03:45Speaker 18: all the entunnement programs, so all of the social security
- 1:03:52Speaker 18: and the safety nets came in under Roosevelt because Roosevelt said, oh,
- 1:03:57Speaker 18: you know, Hoover screwed it up so bad, and we
- 1:04:00Speaker 18: have so many people walking around they can't make a living,
- 1:04:04Speaker 18: and they can't even feed their families.
- 1:04:06Speaker 8: We have to do it. And that's what happened.
- 1:04:08Speaker 18: That's what aborted that original communist movement. But now it's back,
- 1:04:15Speaker 18: and it's back because of high tech.
- 1:04:17Speaker 8: See all of.
- 1:04:17Speaker 18: These gazillionaires, they made their money inventing things, and it's
- 1:04:24Speaker 18: just beginning. Because AI you're gonna have another set of
- 1:04:27Speaker 18: billionaires off that, and the regular folks aren't gonna be
- 1:04:32Speaker 18: inventing what Elon Musk is inventing. Okay, but that's capitalism.
- 1:04:37Speaker 18: If you have a talent, if you have something an
- 1:04:40Speaker 18: ability that you can market a product that three hundred
- 1:04:44Speaker 18: and fifty people want, you're gonna be a billionaire. But
- 1:04:49Speaker 18: under communism you can have that same talent and the
- 1:04:52Speaker 18: government will take away all of the profits that you make.
- 1:04:57Speaker 4: They'll just take it.
- 1:05:00Speaker 8: What kind of system you want to live under?
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: Yeah, before we runt of time, Grand Platiner, he's finished. Right,
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: We're not going to see him again, are we?
- 1:05:10Speaker 8: Now he's done, And should be. And I don't know
- 1:05:15Speaker 8: about this case. I'm looking at him.
- 1:05:17Speaker 18: I'm having my staff look at it now, because remember
- 1:05:21Speaker 18: this is a plague upon the land.
- 1:05:24Speaker 8: Now.
- 1:05:24Speaker 18: The accusation is conviction or no due process. And that's
- 1:05:29Speaker 18: another Communist tenant. So if she in China says you're guilty,
- 1:05:35Speaker 18: you're guilty.
- 1:05:36Speaker 8: There's no feel process. That's it. You're guilty. It doesn't
- 1:05:41Speaker 8: like you. You're going now.
- 1:05:44Speaker 18: Platiner is such a bad guy, such a horrendous individual,
- 1:05:49Speaker 18: that I'm not even cutting him any slack, all right
- 1:05:52Speaker 18: for due process, I'm not, but I'd like to know
- 1:05:56Speaker 18: a little bit more about the incident that's going to
- 1:06:00Speaker 18: ruin him, because it will.
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: No Well, glad to be rid of them, hey, right,
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: but just by out of time. I love the new book.
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: Bill O'Reilly's new book is Confronting America. Can people pre
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: order it now?
- 1:06:12Speaker 18: Yeah, you go to Bill O'Reilly dot com and you
- 1:06:14Speaker 18: can pre order. It'll be out September fifteenth, and you
- 1:06:18Speaker 18: know it's coming up fast, and I think people will
- 1:06:21Speaker 18: enjoy it.
- 1:06:21Speaker 8: At least give you.
- 1:06:22Speaker 18: A conversational structure about what I've seen and all of
- 1:06:28Speaker 18: this that I put in the book. Is absolutely, one
- 1:06:33Speaker 18: hundred percent rock solid true. I didn't have to analyze,
- 1:06:36Speaker 18: I didn't have to investigate. I didn't have to do
- 1:06:39Speaker 18: any of that because I was standing there as the
- 1:06:43Speaker 18: guy pointing to M sixteen at my head. Okay, I
- 1:06:47Speaker 18: mean I don't any research on that. If you pull
- 1:06:50Speaker 18: a drigger, I'm dead. Yeah, I said to the guy.
- 1:06:54Speaker 8: I said, period decent notice bar a journalists don't shoot it.
- 1:06:59Speaker 8: Kid was maybe maybe, And this was in the Argentine
- 1:07:05Speaker 8: rebellion against the Falkland defeat. So I'm proud of the book.
- 1:07:10Speaker 8: It's a good way. I don't know if I'm gonna
- 1:07:12Speaker 8: do any more books or not, but if I don't,
- 1:07:15Speaker 8: it's a good way to go out.
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: You got plenty of books, but this is quite a book.
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: You should get it that. There's a lot of riveting
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: stuff in there. It's confronting America. Bill O'Reilly's latest book
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: and the podcast will do it live. If you didn't
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: see the latest with Glenn Beck. It's quite a conversation
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: and you can get everything at bill O'Reilly dot com.
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: Just go to Bill O'Reilly dot com, the YouTube channel
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: and Bill O'Reilly dot com. Bill O'Reilly congratulations on the book.
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: Thanks for being with us guys.
- 1:07:42Speaker 8: Me Mark really appreciate it.
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: I take care. Hey, don't forget Buck and Clay Noon today,
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: excellent show at twelve noon. And don't forget Curtis is back.
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: He's here every weekday morning. It's Curtis Leewa, Larrymnty six
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: to ten on seven to ten. Wo are mister New
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: York Mark Simon seven to ten wo r Hey, just
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: bear in mind. You got a scary situation going on
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: forty second Street between second and third used to be
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: the Pfiser building. It's an empty skyscraper. They were doing
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: construction work rebuilding the building, and support beams started to buckle,
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: floors caved in. The building's unstable. This is a big skyscraper.
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: Forty seconds between second and third, the whole building is unstable.
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: I don't know what that means. This could take a
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: long time and it's not going to be easy to fix.
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: So forty second between second and third is closed. I imagine
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: we'll remain closed for quite a while, so avoid that
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: area if you're driving. It's going to be not bad.
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: Not bad today it's cloudy, but maybe one more shower
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: then that's it should be a beautiful day tomorrow. If
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: you want to play hooky, tomorrow's the day. Hey, we're
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: out of time. I'll be back tomorrow ten to noon.
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: I hope you will be too. Take care out, Holculator
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: seven ten w o
