- 0:54Speaker 2: Heather MacDonald, Juicy Scoop. Hello and welcome to Juicy Scope.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Major update on the crime that I've been talking about
- 1:04Speaker 2: for a couple weeks. This is about the missing mother
- 1:08Speaker 2: of three young boys who went missing. Now we know
- 1:12Speaker 2: the first person to report her missing was not her husband,
- 1:16Speaker 2: but it was her employer on January 4th. On January 3rd,
- 1:20Speaker 2: she was supposed to fly out of Boston to DC
- 1:24Speaker 2: to do some work at her real estate company. And
- 1:27Speaker 2: her husband, once they reported that she did not show
- 1:30Speaker 2: up and ask for a wellness check, her work on
- 1:33Speaker 2: the January 4th, the husband said, Oh, she actually left
- 1:36Speaker 2: earlier than scheduled time, January 3rd. She left last. I
- 1:40Speaker 2: saw her, I was asleep and she left on new
- 1:43Speaker 2: year's day that morning or, or just after, you know,
- 1:48Speaker 2: midnight or whatever. Um, And caught the flight early because
- 1:52Speaker 2: there was a work emergency. Went in an Uber. There
- 1:54Speaker 2: was no record of her ever going in Uber. No
- 1:57Speaker 2: record of her ever getting on a plane on January 1st.
- 2:01Speaker 2: He was arrested a couple days ago for not cooperating
- 2:04Speaker 2: with police, but now they have arrested Brian Walsh for
- 2:09Speaker 2: her murder, even though we don't have a body. Based
- 2:13Speaker 2: on these Google searches that we've just become aware of,
- 2:17Speaker 2: Boston is reporting that These Google searches were done on
- 2:21Speaker 2: his son's iPad. So this genius thought, oh, I won't
- 2:24Speaker 2: do it on my phone or my computer or my iPad.
- 2:27Speaker 2: I'll get my preschooler's iPad and do it on that.
- 2:31Speaker 2: Chances are they won't check that iPad because he just
- 2:34Speaker 2: is watching, you know, some cartoon. These are the things,
- 2:38Speaker 2: this is very disturbing. These are the things that he Googled.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Starting at 4.55 a.m. on New Year's Day. How long
- 2:47Speaker 2: before a body starts to smell? 4.58 a.m., how to
- 2:51Speaker 2: stop a body from decomposing. 5.20, how to bound a body.
- 2:56Speaker 2: 10 ways to dispose of a dead body if you
- 3:00Speaker 2: really need to. 6.25, how long for someone to be
- 3:04Speaker 2: missing to inherit. 6.34 a.m., can you throw away body parts? 9.29 a.m.,
- 3:11Speaker 2: what does formaldehyde do? 9.34 a.m., how long does DNA last? 9.59 a.m.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Can identification be made on partial remains? 11.34 a.m. Dismemberment
- 3:26Speaker 2: and the best ways to dispose of a body. 11.44 a.m.
- 3:31Speaker 2: How to clean blood from a wooden floor. 10.56 a.m.
- 3:36Speaker 4: Luminol to detect blood.
- 3:38Speaker 2: 1.08 in the afternoon. What happens when you put a
- 3:42Speaker 2: body in ammonia? Um, 120, okay, this is, and then
- 3:48Speaker 2: this is the next day. Oh, no, this is, no,
- 3:52Speaker 2: it's 121 in the afternoon the next day. That, that
- 3:54Speaker 2: same day. Is it better to throw crime scene clothes
- 3:57Speaker 2: away or wash them? Now we go to January 2nd.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Still no reporting that she's gone. And of course the
- 4:04Speaker 2: work doesn't know that she's gone because she's not expected
- 4:07Speaker 2: to be there until January 3rd. January 2nd, Google searches.
- 4:12Speaker 2: On the son's iPad, 1245 p.m. Hacksaw best tool to dismember? 1.10 p.m.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Can you be charged with murder without a body? 1.14 p.m.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Can you identify a body with broken teeth? So disturbing.
- 4:30Speaker 2: January 3rd, Google searches. 1.02 p.m. What happens to hair
- 4:35Speaker 2: on a dead body? 1.13 p.m. What is the rate
- 4:38Speaker 2: of decomposition of a body found in a plastic bag
- 4:43Speaker 2: compared to to on a surface in the woods. 1.20 p.m.,
- 4:49Speaker 2: can baking soda make a body smell good? Sorry, so disturbing,
- 4:55Speaker 2: but just unbelievable, and I had to do the follow-up
- 4:58Speaker 2: on it. The audacity, the stupidity, the blatant, see, I think,
- 5:04Speaker 2: I mean, the prosecutor must be thrilled to have this evidence.
- 5:07Speaker 2: I don't know what this guy's defense is going to be,
- 5:10Speaker 2: but hopefully at this point, He will lead the detectives
- 5:14Speaker 2: to the body so there can be some peace for
- 5:17Speaker 2: this family of where this woman is.
- 5:20Speaker 4: So, so sad. Okay.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Now for some fun. Madonna did a Instagram reel or TikTok, whatever,
- 5:30Speaker 2: where she's hanging around with a table of famous people,
- 5:35Speaker 2: one being Amy Schumer, and they're doing Truth or Dare,
- 5:39Speaker 2: pretty clever, and And she says, Amy says, I dare you, Madonna,
- 5:44Speaker 2: to do a world tour. And she goes, all right,
- 5:46Speaker 2: I'm doing it. So Madonna is going to go on
- 5:49Speaker 2: a world tour of the last 40 years of her music.
- 5:53Speaker 2: And I have gone to a lot of Madonna concerts
- 5:57Speaker 2: in my life.
- 5:57Speaker 4: I went to Who's That Girl?
- 5:59Speaker 2: I went to the one where she was like a
- 6:01Speaker 2: Hindu cowboy stage. I've been to a lot of her concerts.
- 6:06Speaker 2: I think the last one I went to, though, was Dope.
- 6:09Speaker 2: like just after 9-11. So it's been a long time
- 6:11Speaker 2: since I've seen her in concert.
- 6:13Speaker 4: I would go see this.
- 6:14Speaker 2: I think she's like scary looking and all of that,
- 6:17Speaker 2: but I do know every Madonna song. So if I'm
- 6:20Speaker 2: going to go to a concert, I like to go
- 6:22Speaker 2: to a concert where I know every song. So I
- 6:23Speaker 2: think I will probably go. And I think that's pretty exciting.
- 6:27Speaker 2: But this is interesting because then Madonna deleted all of
- 6:33Speaker 2: her Britney posts from her IG account. which I thought
- 6:38Speaker 2: that was weird. She had posts from the wedding and stuff,
- 6:42Speaker 2: and I guess some.
- 6:42Speaker 4: Sleuths went through. I don't know.
- 6:44Speaker 2: I did not do all the work myself, but apparently
- 6:48Speaker 2: she removed those maybe to focus on her tour, maybe
- 6:52Speaker 2: to move away from the Britney controversy. Meanwhile, Britney last
- 6:58Speaker 2: night posted a video of her In the Now She Knows... Listen,
- 7:05Speaker 2: I think Britney Spears is listening to Juicy Scoop. On
- 7:09Speaker 2: Tuesday's show, I said that she posted a photo of
- 7:12Speaker 2: her dancing in her little outfits and that we knew
- 7:15Speaker 2: that it was from this hotel in Maui. I believe
- 7:19Speaker 2: it's the Four Seasons in Maui. We knew people matched
- 7:21Speaker 2: the carpet, the way the closet doors are. And I said,
- 7:25Speaker 2: and there's no way that she got there after leaving
- 7:27Speaker 2: Joey's in Woodland Hills because this next post of her...
- 7:32Speaker 2: was Saturday so I'm like so it's old footage of
- 7:35Speaker 2: her then last night she posted herself in that same
- 7:40Speaker 2: room doesn't hide that she's out there and she said
- 7:44Speaker 2: this is when I got a tattoo three days ago
- 7:48Speaker 2: she's doing a weird voice but we always hear different
- 7:51Speaker 2: weird voices of her so I don't think that and
- 7:53Speaker 2: she has a guy who's doing her tattoo but in
- 7:57Speaker 2: the video she changes outfits And everyone that knows anything
- 8:01Speaker 2: about tattoos is like, you should be in a chair.
- 8:03Speaker 2: You should be staying, standing still. She's like literally moving
- 8:05Speaker 2: around where the guy's.
- 8:06Speaker 4: Trying to do it.
- 8:08Speaker 2: So do the dates match up? She said this was
- 8:12Speaker 2: from three days ago. So if she left Joey's on
- 8:15Speaker 2: Friday and flew on Saturday, then the timeline works out.
- 8:25Speaker 2: I don't believe she's there. I think all this footage
- 8:29Speaker 2: is old. I think she listens to Juicy Scoop and
- 8:32Speaker 2: she's trying to say, oh, well, three days ago, I
- 8:35Speaker 2: could have gotten there three days ago. Posting this on
- 8:39Speaker 2: Tuesday night, I could have arrived in Maui by Sunday
- 8:43Speaker 2: or Saturday night after leaving Joey's.
- 8:48Speaker 4: I don't believe she's in Hawaii. I do believe she's
- 8:51Speaker 4: a Juicy Scooper.
- 8:52Speaker 5: Okay.
- 8:53Speaker 3: Okay.
- 8:55Speaker 4: Okay.
- 8:56Speaker 2: The Idaho killer, we'll update on this, repeatedly messaged one
- 9:02Speaker 2: of the victims on Instagram. They're not saying which of
- 9:05Speaker 2: the three girls, victims, that he was DMing, but there's sources,
- 9:10Speaker 2: People Magazine and many other people are reporting that he
- 9:13Speaker 2: did DM her several times. We don't know if it's Madison, Kaylee,
- 9:18Speaker 2: or Zaina, but... She did not respond. It was like, hey,
- 9:24Speaker 2: how are you doing? What's going on? Several times she
- 9:27Speaker 2: did not respond. So did they know each other? Was
- 9:31Speaker 2: he someone that saw her working at the Mad Greek place?
- 9:36Speaker 2: Did they ever have any interaction at a bar and
- 9:39Speaker 2: he just didn't get the clue? Um, we know that
- 9:43Speaker 2: he didn't really have a girlfriend, so we, we do
- 9:46Speaker 2: believe that he could just be a guy who got
- 9:48Speaker 2: rejected and, you know, and maybe again, the question we
- 9:52Speaker 2: don't know is, was Kaylee, whose room it was that.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Was the first room or we believe the first victims,
- 10:04Speaker 2: it was her room and Maddie was spending the night.
- 10:07Speaker 2: Was she the target? And he was hit by surprise
- 10:11Speaker 2: by Maddie being there and then Zaina and Ethan also
- 10:16Speaker 2: being there.
- 10:17Speaker 5: Or was.
- 10:19Speaker 2: he obsessed with her, but then obsessed with the whole
- 10:21Speaker 2: house of the five girls, and he was setting out
- 10:23Speaker 2: to be the next Ted Bundy. This is the biggest
- 10:27Speaker 2: question I think of anybody that's investigated this, and I
- 10:30Speaker 2: don't think we can say for sure. There are experts
- 10:34Speaker 2: that are saying, that are FBI experts and whatnot, saying
- 10:38Speaker 2: they do believe that he may have killed before. Others,
- 10:41Speaker 2: people saying, no, everything points to that he didn't. Hopefully
- 10:46Speaker 2: we will know more as this goes forward. The other
- 10:51Speaker 2: thing that people talk.
- 10:52Speaker 4: About is.
- 10:55Speaker 2: That what drove him to do it is that he
- 10:57Speaker 2: had an incel complex. I'm like, what is that? This
- 11:02Speaker 2: is this thing around that's been going around where men
- 11:06Speaker 2: feel very strong rejection and they don't understand why.
- 11:12Speaker 4: They're being rejected by these girls.
- 11:14Speaker 2: And it can almost incense them to a place of
- 11:17Speaker 2: violence where they feel rejected, yet they feel entitled that
- 11:21Speaker 2: they should not be rejected. And did he have that
- 11:25Speaker 2: going on? He was a heavy kid who then became
- 11:30Speaker 2: a heroin addict, got off heroin, and then became a vegan.
- 11:34Speaker 2: So you just kind of wonder about his insecurities or whatnot. Anyway,
- 11:44Speaker 2: thank God he's been arrested. So we'll be following that.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Another sad thing. Then we're going to get into some
- 11:50Speaker 2: fun stuff. But another really sad, crazy story out of California.
- 11:54Speaker 2: There's this young married couple.
- 11:56Speaker 4: They're only 30.
- 11:56Speaker 2: They're both public defenders in Orange County, California. So they
- 12:03Speaker 2: go to celebrate their one-year anniversary to Rosarito Beach. And
- 12:08Speaker 2: that is a beach that's close enough that you can
- 12:11Speaker 2: drive from Southern California. Um, people used to go back
- 12:16Speaker 2: in the day, along with Tijuana, you know, a lot
- 12:18Speaker 2: of kids that went to San Diego state or whatever
- 12:20Speaker 2: would go, let's go there. Cause we can get to
- 12:22Speaker 2: Mexico without.
- 12:24Speaker 4: Getting on a plane.
- 12:26Speaker 2: There are beautiful hotels there and stuff, but it is
- 12:29Speaker 2: a riskier place to go versus going to Cabo San Lucas,
- 12:33Speaker 2: in my opinion. Um, and then of course it's very
- 12:36Speaker 2: scary if you're driving there because oftentimes, you know, there's
- 12:40Speaker 2: these fake cops or real cops or whatever in Mexico
- 12:44Speaker 2: that might pull you over or stop you and try
- 12:48Speaker 2: to shake you down and say, oh, you missed that
- 12:50Speaker 2: stop sign. You didn't see it. And it can be scary.
- 12:57Speaker 2: So anyway, we don't know what happened to them. We
- 13:00Speaker 2: don't know what happened, but he is dead. And the
- 13:03Speaker 2: family is saying that they believe he died in a
- 13:10Speaker 2: What happened was they were at this hotel and he
- 13:15Speaker 2: was found, like he fell over the balcony or something,
- 13:18Speaker 2: but he was in his sleeping outfit, like a sleep shirt, underwear,
- 13:23Speaker 2: and socks. And very bizarre of how he got there,
- 13:30Speaker 2: what happened. There's a lot that we're not, that we
- 13:35Speaker 2: are not aware of, but it's very suspicious. The family
- 13:37Speaker 2: finds it very suspicious. The wife is now back in America.
- 13:44Speaker 2: And this is just another one of those scary stories.
- 13:48Speaker 2: And I just read another story about a young girl,
- 13:50Speaker 2: a nurse who was in Cancun, who was allegedly staying
- 13:55Speaker 2: at this VRBO. And she was found dead after falling
- 14:01Speaker 2: off a balcony. And they said, oh, we assume that
- 14:05Speaker 2: she couldn't get into her VRBO. And so she climbed
- 14:09Speaker 2: up to the third floor of the balcony and slipped
- 14:12Speaker 2: and fell and died. Very, very bizarre. So I mean,
- 14:18Speaker 2: I love traveling. I love going on trips. But you know,
- 14:22Speaker 2: you got to be really careful about where you choose
- 14:23Speaker 2: to go. And when you're not in America, shit can happen.
- 14:29Speaker 4: So we'll see what happens with this.
- 14:31Speaker 2: But I don't think him being a public defender I
- 14:35Speaker 2: don't think his position matters at all. And I do
- 14:40Speaker 2: believe he was fluent in Spanish. So we'll see what
- 14:44Speaker 2: happens with that.
- 14:45Speaker 4: Very interesting. Okay.
- 14:46Speaker 2: This happened last night and I did some investigative work
- 14:51Speaker 2: and I'm going to lay it out there. And you guys,
- 14:54Speaker 2: you know, listen, I bring you the juicy scoop. I
- 14:57Speaker 2: tell you what I think. I have nothing to lose
- 15:01Speaker 2: in Hollywood. Okay.
- 15:02Speaker 4: And that's why I'm going to share this with you.
- 15:05Speaker 2: And I'm not 100% sure what's happening here. But a
- 15:10Speaker 2: Juicy Scoop Obsessed member sent this to me yesterday and said,
- 15:15Speaker 2: this is disgusting. Why does Jamie Lee Curtis have a
- 15:19Speaker 2: picture of a naked child stuffed inside of a suitcase
- 15:22Speaker 2: on her wall? Update, she just deleted the post after
- 15:25Speaker 2: being called out by many people in the comments. So
- 15:30Speaker 2: I'm like, okay, so I look at this and Jamie
- 15:33Speaker 2: Lee Curtis says, Kyle Richards, very good friend, co-star of Halloween.
- 15:38Speaker 2: She is the epitome of a nepo baby. Her mother
- 15:43Speaker 2: was a huge movie star. Her dad was Tony Curtis.
- 15:47Speaker 2: She's acted since she was 19, and she's beloved and
- 15:53Speaker 2: was basically a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this season,
- 15:56Speaker 2: which was a little too much footage for me, but whatever.
- 15:59Speaker 4: People seem to love it.
- 16:02Speaker 2: So she posts this photo of like these table, this
- 16:04Speaker 2: table and chairs in her house, something to the effect of,
- 16:08Speaker 2: I got these tables and chairs from some movie I did.
- 16:11Speaker 2: And now I love it in my home. So she
- 16:13Speaker 2: took a photo of it in her home and posted it.
- 16:16Speaker 2: And what it featured was this big framed photograph in color.
- 16:24Speaker 2: And you zoom up and it's a child. We don't
- 16:27Speaker 2: know if it's a boy or girl about, I would
- 16:29Speaker 2: say seven or eight. crunched up, which could be a suitcase,
- 16:35Speaker 2: but in further research, it looks like it's like a
- 16:38Speaker 2: big water tub. And the child's body is crunched in there,
- 16:41Speaker 2: barely can fit, no clothes. The genitals are being covered
- 16:45Speaker 2: by the child's legs folding them, okay?
- 16:49Speaker 4: It's weird.
- 16:50Speaker 2: So then I go on Twitter and be like, are
- 16:52Speaker 2: people freaking out about this on Twitter? And in the comments,
- 16:56Speaker 2: I see someone saying, this is BetsySchneider.com's art. And she's
- 17:01Speaker 2: got lots of stuff like this. And so I'm like, OK.
- 17:06Speaker 2: So I looked at this woman's art. This picture did
- 17:09Speaker 2: pop up.
- 17:10Speaker 4: I did see it.
- 17:11Speaker 2: To me, the art is disturbing. I don't know if
- 17:14Speaker 2: these kids are models that got paid. But they are
- 17:20Speaker 2: kids that are all looking some distressed, some happy. They
- 17:26Speaker 2: maybe have their underwear on. They took markers to themselves.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Some of them look like they're sort of in poor backyards.
- 17:36Speaker 2: One has his pants down and he's peeing. We don't
- 17:39Speaker 2: see his genitals. We do see his bare butt. I
- 17:42Speaker 2: think it's weird photos to be. Look, 30 or 40
- 17:48Speaker 2: years ago, maybe you take a picture like this of
- 17:51Speaker 2: your kid. I don't know that you'd frame it on
- 17:52Speaker 2: your wall, but this isn't your kid. This is someone
- 17:55Speaker 2: else's kid. Now, she took it down, Jamie Lee Curtis.
- 17:59Speaker 4: Right away.
- 18:01Speaker 2: Probably someone's like, oh my God, you know, people are
- 18:04Speaker 2: freaking out. And she's like, what losers? You know, who
- 18:07Speaker 2: are these people? I'm just saying, if you really think
- 18:09Speaker 2: it's great art and you really love this artist, you
- 18:12Speaker 2: either keep it up or you say, hey, you guys
- 18:16Speaker 2: are all a bunch of, you know, non-artistic people. I
- 18:19Speaker 2: love seeing naked eight-year-olds in a shallow water looking sad
- 18:26Speaker 2: and distressed while I eat my dinner. That's what I love.
- 18:31Speaker 2: I come from an artist family. I don't know why
- 18:34Speaker 2: you're so close-minded. Okay, Jamie, tell me that's.
- 18:38Speaker 4: What it is.
- 18:39Speaker 2: This is the kind of art that was in Epstein's place.
- 18:42Speaker 2: This is weird art. It's featuring kids, just their feet.
- 18:47Speaker 4: It's distressed.
- 18:48Speaker 2: I think it's weird. It's not my thing. If you're
- 18:52Speaker 2: somebody that has that hanging up in your house, maybe
- 18:55Speaker 2: rethink it.
- 18:56Speaker 4: Maybe take it down.
- 18:59Speaker 2: But listen, you're probably not going to hear about this
- 19:03Speaker 2: on your other Bravo pop culture type of shows.
- 19:07Speaker 4: But I think it's weird. There you go. You tell
- 19:11Speaker 4: me what you think. Going on. Okay.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Speaking of Kyle Richards, Jamie Lee Curtis's best friend. She
- 19:19Speaker 2: was asked by TMZ who could replace Lisa Renna. And
- 19:24Speaker 2: she suggested Chrissy Teigen. I read the comments.
- 19:27Speaker 4: A lot of people aren't excited for that.
- 19:31Speaker 2: She is a controversial figure for the same reason as
- 19:34Speaker 2: she'd probably like this art that Jamie Lee Curtis, maybe
- 19:37Speaker 2: the two of them could have some fun. She likes
- 19:39Speaker 2: this kind of stuff. She thinks it's fun and cute.
- 19:42Speaker 3: Okay.
- 19:44Speaker 2: She likes, you know, things like this. So anyway, but
- 19:48Speaker 2: she is a young mom. She's married to a famous person.
- 19:52Speaker 2: She can be fun. If she was to get picked,
- 19:57Speaker 2: I predict she will have the greatest edit. People will
- 20:00Speaker 2: absolutely forgive and fall in love with her. There'll be
- 20:03Speaker 2: one moment where she does say, you I was drinking
- 20:10Speaker 2: and I said some awful stuff. I said some inappropriate
- 20:13Speaker 2: jokes about toddlers and tiaras. I said some awful things
- 20:16Speaker 2: about Courtney Stodden. I thought I was being funny. They
- 20:20Speaker 2: might have that one moment where she really kind of
- 20:22Speaker 2: redeems herself on camera and she'll be funny. She'll have
- 20:26Speaker 2: a couple of snarky moments, but not too mean. And
- 20:29Speaker 2: everyone will love her. And then the next season we'll
- 20:33Speaker 2: have our fun. It'll, it would be interesting. I'm not
- 20:38Speaker 2: saying higher or not. But I think they want to
- 20:41Speaker 2: get younger people and she's got three little kids and,
- 20:44Speaker 2: you know, we'll see. The car is beautiful.
- 20:49Speaker 4: Where did you end up going for it? This exclusive
- 20:51Speaker 4: place that Dad has connections with.
- 20:53Speaker 2: They have more cars for more dealerships than like anywhere else.
- 20:56Speaker 2: You have to put me in touch.
- 20:57Speaker 5: What's it called?
- 20:58Speaker 4: It's Dune ADL.
- 21:00Speaker 6: Where?
- 21:02Speaker 4: Dune ADL.
- 21:03Speaker 6: There's an accent on the E.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Do you mean... Yes, I got it on Dune Deal cars.
- 21:08Speaker 5: Lift? Please.
- 21:10Speaker 4: You going past Kimmage? Oh, Kimmage!
- 21:12Speaker 3: No.
- 21:13Speaker 4: Done deal, Cars.
- 21:14Speaker 6: You couldn't possibly go anywhere else.
- 21:17Speaker 5: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 21:20Speaker 5: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 21:23Speaker 5: have faced tremendous setbacks, and yet somehow have found a
- 21:28Speaker 5: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 21:34Speaker 6: I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints
- 21:36Speaker 6: filed against me.
- 21:37Speaker 2: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 21:39Speaker 2: what would you do if it was given back?
- 21:42Speaker 5: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 21:45Speaker 5: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 21:47Speaker 2: He said, I have a work dad.
- 21:48Speaker 5: I need a home dad.
- 21:49Speaker 4: What happens next?
- 21:50Speaker 2: When I came in, he started crying.
- 21:52Speaker 5: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 21:56Speaker 5: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 21:59Speaker 5: happens next.
- 22:00Speaker 2: I decided to risk it all.
- 22:01Speaker 4: I realized how valuable every day was. You're worth the work.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 22:07Speaker 4: You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 22:09Speaker 5: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 22:12Speaker 5: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 22:23Speaker 2: Then Reza, who's on this show called Traders that everybody
- 22:28Speaker 2: is loving.
- 22:29Speaker 4: It's on Peacock.
- 22:31Speaker 2: I am not a Big Brother person because to me,
- 22:34Speaker 2: I find all of those type of shows really kind
- 22:37Speaker 2: of confusing to follow. But apparently you guys all love
- 22:40Speaker 2: it and people are liking it. If you like Big Brother,
- 22:43Speaker 2: if you like Survivor, it's like that. I kind of
- 22:46Speaker 2: almost need someone just to come over and just tell
- 22:48Speaker 2: me what happened.
- 22:48Speaker 4: I don't know. I just don't know if I have
- 22:50Speaker 4: the effort. the time to put in.
- 22:52Speaker 2: However, I did see the movie Menu last night. Very
- 22:56Speaker 2: juicy and good.
- 22:58Speaker 4: And that is on HBO Max.
- 22:59Speaker 5: Okay.
- 23:00Speaker 4: Anyway. So he's on Watch What Happens Live.
- 23:04Speaker 2: And of course, Andy asks him, who is the most
- 23:07Speaker 2: overrated housewife? And he's like, I'm going to get in
- 23:10Speaker 2: trouble for this. Here's the thing, you guys. No one
- 23:12Speaker 2: should be mad, including Kyle, because he said Kyle. If
- 23:16Speaker 2: he doesn't say it, if he says, I take the fifth,
- 23:19Speaker 2: you don't get a clip out of it. Watch What
- 23:21Speaker 2: Happens Live isn't happy with you. Andy isn't happy with you.
- 23:24Speaker 2: The whole point is like to call people out and
- 23:26Speaker 2: start this stuff to keep us talking. So he says, Kyle.
- 23:30Speaker 2: And then Kyle says on Twitter, wasn't his show canceled?
- 23:35Speaker 2: And wasn't he the first one voted off of Traders?
- 23:38Speaker 2: I guess he wasn't. I didn't get that far. I
- 23:40Speaker 2: can't even be offended. And then Reza wrote back, my
- 23:44Speaker 2: show was canceled and I was eliminated first, but my
- 23:47Speaker 2: sister and all my castmates still like me.
- 23:51Speaker 4: Snap.
- 23:53Speaker 2: And thought that was a pretty fun exchange. And I
- 23:57Speaker 2: think they're both a little bit right.
- 23:59Speaker 4: Okay.
- 24:02Speaker 2: This other girl from Deucescope Obsessed. I love it when
- 24:04Speaker 2: people give me credit. Jasmine said, Heather was literally talking
- 24:09Speaker 2: about this a few weeks ago, that Christian Chenoweth does
- 24:12Speaker 2: regret not suing after her severe injuries she sustained on
- 24:16Speaker 2: the set of The Good Wife.
- 24:17Speaker 4: And here's what she's saying in her own words. So
- 24:20Speaker 4: I guess she did an.
- 24:21Speaker 2: Essay about this. This is what I've talked about on
- 24:24Speaker 2: the show many times. When I met Kristen Chenoweth on
- 24:28Speaker 2: the set of Chelsea Lately, we're both Gamma Phi Betas
- 24:31Speaker 2: and we talked. And this was shortly after she was
- 24:34Speaker 2: on the set of Good Wife where she was a
- 24:36Speaker 2: reoccurring character. A light fell on her head and she's
- 24:40Speaker 2: a tiny little thing. And she was really injured. And
- 24:45Speaker 2: we talked and she said, oh my God, I had to.
- 24:49Speaker 2: cancel a $ 1 million world tour where I sing and
- 24:53Speaker 2: do cartwheels. There's stuff I will never recover from.
- 24:56Speaker 4: It was so horrible.
- 24:58Speaker 2: And I said, did you get a big paycheck out
- 25:00Speaker 2: of it? And she's like, no, because if I would
- 25:03Speaker 2: have sued, then I think it would have really hurt
- 25:06Speaker 2: my chances of getting other television shows. And I'm in
- 25:10Speaker 2: talks shortly after I fell. This is what I recall.
- 25:14Speaker 2: This is my memory, OK, that there was talk that
- 25:18Speaker 2: she would maybe get a variety show. Now, and I
- 25:22Speaker 2: remember saying, wow, where's that variety show? You know, your
- 25:26Speaker 2: team and your people lied to you. You only have
- 25:29Speaker 2: one chance. in these situations to sue. Well, now all
- 25:33Speaker 2: these years later, no variety show, and she is saying,
- 25:37Speaker 2: I really regret suing. Her dad told her to sue,
- 25:40Speaker 2: but her team, meaning her agents and everybody, said, you
- 25:43Speaker 2: do not want to sue a big network like CBS.
- 25:47Speaker 2: It will be career suicide. And now she's like, fuck it.
- 25:52Speaker 2: I regret it. I don't care if CBS never hires
- 25:54Speaker 2: me again. Yeah, because you never got that variety show.
- 25:58Speaker 2: The point is, people, whether... you're in entertainment or not.
- 26:02Speaker 2: Don't believe what these people say. Nobody is your friend.
- 26:06Speaker 2: And if they're giving you advice, think about what they're
- 26:09Speaker 2: getting out of it. And if she would have sued
- 26:11Speaker 2: CBS and gotten $ 10 million, you know, her, her attorney
- 26:18Speaker 2: would have gotten a portion of that, but her agent
- 26:20Speaker 2: wouldn't have got a portion of it. Her manager wouldn't
- 26:23Speaker 2: have gotten a portion of it. Her PR person wouldn't
- 26:26Speaker 2: have got a portion of it. I'm guessing those three
- 26:29Speaker 2: people were the team that said, don't sue. Where are
- 26:32Speaker 2: those people? Luckily, she's still really successful, but now she's
- 26:35Speaker 2: speaking the truth. Something I knew a long time ago. Okay.
- 26:42Speaker 2: The spare book of Harry, we've talked about it at nauseam,
- 26:46Speaker 2: but it is the number one most successful nonfiction book
- 26:53Speaker 2: that has ever been sold. It has the most... sales
- 26:59Speaker 2: and absolutely not surprised everybody's talking about it. There are
- 27:03Speaker 2: so many funny things about this book out there in
- 27:07Speaker 2: the internet. And I fell for one the other day,
- 27:12Speaker 2: which I, I've not read the book. So if this
- 27:15Speaker 2: is actually a part of the book, I will die.
- 27:19Speaker 2: But I thought it was at the moment. And it
- 27:20Speaker 2: was a video of someone listening to the audio and
- 27:24Speaker 2: it sounded just like Harry and And it was Harry
- 27:26Speaker 2: telling a story where he was like, my brother was
- 27:30Speaker 2: 12 and I was 10. We went with our mother,
- 27:34Speaker 2: our grandmother, to Elpsey House or some like place. I
- 27:39Speaker 2: was just, just as my head hit the pillow, I
- 27:41Speaker 2: was so tired. My brother, William, got out of bed.
- 27:45Speaker 2: We were sharing a room and he took my hand
- 27:48Speaker 2: and he hit my face with it. And I said,
- 27:51Speaker 2: stop it. And he said, I'm doing nothing. You're hitting
- 27:53Speaker 2: yourself because he had taken my hand. and making my
- 27:56Speaker 2: hand hit my face. I said, I'm not doing it.
- 28:00Speaker 4: He's like, yes, you are. And I said, no, I'm not.
- 28:03Speaker 2: And anyway, I was listening to this. And because of
- 28:07Speaker 2: all the ridiculous things that he has said about William
- 28:10Speaker 2: ripping on his, you know, shocking hairline and breaking the
- 28:15Speaker 2: dog bowl and everything, I really thought.
- 28:17Speaker 4: This was put in the book.
- 28:19Speaker 2: So I go immediately to my spare, Brandon, and he
- 28:23Speaker 2: is crying, laughing. And all the comments are like, oh,
- 28:26Speaker 2: my God, we played this game all the time. You know,
- 28:29Speaker 2: like what?
- 28:29Speaker 4: I'm not.
- 28:29Speaker 2: You're hitting yourself. Like who didn't do that with their brother? Anyway,
- 28:33Speaker 2: after I could not find any article written about this,
- 28:36Speaker 2: I'm like, I think this was a parody thing. But
- 28:39Speaker 2: the point is, it is really funny. But then I've
- 28:42Speaker 2: seen other things where people have finished the book. They've
- 28:45Speaker 2: really read it all. They haven't been like me that
- 28:48Speaker 2: like read every headline from page six and seen little clips,
- 28:52Speaker 2: but have not sat down and read it and said,
- 28:54Speaker 2: my heart aches for Harry and I'm so glad he
- 28:57Speaker 2: spoke his truth. He is the only royal in the
- 29:00Speaker 2: history of royals who has actually done his own memoir
- 29:08Speaker 2: where someone else wasn't writing it without their consent. There's
- 29:11Speaker 2: been lots of books about Princess Diana, but this is his.
- 29:15Speaker 2: So I don't know. If I have the time, maybe
- 29:19Speaker 2: we'll read it and maybe I will feel a different perspective.
- 29:24Speaker 2: But I think we're all sick of hearing about his
- 29:27Speaker 2: frostbitten penis. I don't think anyone needed to know that
- 29:30Speaker 2: he and his brother were not circumcised. I think sharing
- 29:34Speaker 2: the text between him, between she and Kate, Meghan and Kate,
- 29:39Speaker 2: about the bridesmaids' dresses, where everybody has a story of
- 29:43Speaker 2: being annoyed, whether you were the bridesmaid or your kid
- 29:47Speaker 2: was a flower girl. I mean, everybody has a wedding
- 29:50Speaker 2: story like theirs, which I didn't think was a really
- 29:53Speaker 2: big beef. One thing I thought was interesting was how
- 29:56Speaker 2: harsh he was with Camilla. And now that Camilla and Prince,
- 30:03Speaker 2: I mean, King, the King, Charles, have been married for
- 30:06Speaker 2: a long time, like, you know, that is who he
- 30:11Speaker 2: wanted to be with. And they wouldn't let him marry
- 30:14Speaker 2: her because she was divorced and his grandmother was not
- 30:19Speaker 2: allowing it. And I'm like, if anyone you should be
- 30:22Speaker 2: mad at is your grandma. Like she was the one
- 30:25Speaker 2: that set the precedent and didn't let King Charles marry
- 30:27Speaker 2: who he wanted. So then he married Diana and unfortunately
- 30:30Speaker 2: they were never in love and therefore he didn't treat
- 30:32Speaker 2: her well because he was really in love with someone else.
- 30:36Speaker 4: So the fact that.
- 30:37Speaker 2: Harry could marry whoever he wanted, nobody in the book
- 30:40Speaker 2: said don't marry Meghan. They may have said later on
- 30:44Speaker 2: she's difficult, whatever. Nobody said don't marry Meghan. So I'm
- 30:49Speaker 2: I think in that way, he's a little insensitive to
- 30:52Speaker 2: his dad's wife.
- 30:53Speaker 4: My opinion. Okay.
- 30:56Speaker 2: Lisa Marie Presley will be buried at Graceland. Her three daughters,
- 31:04Speaker 2: the twins who are 14 and Riley, will inherit Graceland. Very,
- 31:11Speaker 2: very sad about her having a heart attack and dying.
- 31:15Speaker 4: My question is.
- 31:17Speaker 2: Will there be an autopsy when there isn't, when someone
- 31:22Speaker 2: doesn't think someone was like murdered? This is my question
- 31:26Speaker 2: for the legal people.
- 31:27Speaker 4: Like they're telling it's cardiac.
- 31:30Speaker 2: Arrest, but do we know that like, and if, because
- 31:35Speaker 2: if I was her mom, that's the story I would want.
- 31:38Speaker 2: So if I'm not issuing any kind of autopsy to see, wow,
- 31:42Speaker 2: was there a mix of medication? Was there something else
- 31:45Speaker 2: going on? Was there something that she didn't intend that
- 31:49Speaker 2: happened or whatever? If I don't ask for it, just
- 31:53Speaker 2: because she's a famous person, I mean, and like, I
- 31:57Speaker 2: don't think that someone can just, you know, I don't
- 32:00Speaker 2: think that autopsies are just issued unless there's really like
- 32:03Speaker 2: a murder investigation or unless the family asked for it.
- 32:07Speaker 4: So I don't know that we'll ever really.
- 32:09Speaker 2: Know what was going on there because she didn't look great.
- 32:13Speaker 2: She didn't look very well at the critics choice. And,
- 32:18Speaker 2: you know, what did she die of? Break a broken heart?
- 32:20Speaker 2: Was this a chronic condition?
- 32:22Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 32:23Speaker 2: I don't know that we'll ever really know the truth was,
- 32:26Speaker 2: you know.
- 32:27Speaker 4: We'll see.
- 32:28Speaker 2: And for sister wives, you guys, there is a big
- 32:31Speaker 2: opportunity for you. Mary is back offering her exciting women
- 32:39Speaker 2: empowerment retreat at.
- 32:41Speaker 4: Her bed and breakfast. Okay. So she said it. And
- 32:45Speaker 4: I just want to say.
- 32:46Speaker 2: What it includes. It includes breakfast, lunch and dinner for
- 32:52Speaker 2: three days and like another meal. two to five activities,
- 32:56Speaker 2: but we don't tell you what they are.
- 32:57Speaker 4: So it could be two activities.
- 32:58Speaker 2: It could be five, but you don't know what it is.
- 33:01Speaker 2: It's about making friends, relaxing and rejuvenating at which right
- 33:05Speaker 2: after Valentine's day.
- 33:06Speaker 4: I can't go. Okay.
- 33:08Speaker 2: I have my own girls weekend with my sorority sisters
- 33:10Speaker 2: that weekend, and.
- 33:11Speaker 4: I will be in Scottsdale.
- 33:13Speaker 2: Can some, if you decide to go, you are, I'm
- 33:17Speaker 2: inviting you to come on Juicy Scoop to tell me
- 33:21Speaker 2: about it.
- 33:23Speaker 4: There's three tiers.
- 33:24Speaker 2: $ 4, 000, you get it, but you have a private or
- 33:28Speaker 2: shared room in a location near Lizzie's Heritage Inn. You
- 33:35Speaker 2: don't get to stay there. You have to go find
- 33:37Speaker 2: some other place or maybe they help you find it.
- 33:40Speaker 2: For $ 5, 000, you do get a room by yourself at
- 33:45Speaker 2: Lizzie's Heritage Inn. And for $ 6, 000, you can bring a
- 33:50Speaker 2: friend and share one room together. at the Heritage Inn.
- 33:55Speaker 2: This includes some baked goods in the morning, and like
- 33:59Speaker 2: I said, two to five activities. I don't know if
- 34:04Speaker 2: you're gonna have to sign an NDA. If you go
- 34:07Speaker 2: to this, you will be invited to come on Juicy
- 34:09Speaker 2: Scoop to tell me about it. I don't know where
- 34:12Speaker 2: this money goes, but people are thinking it's going to
- 34:14Speaker 2: Cody's lips. There's a photo here on my YouTube. Please
- 34:20Speaker 2: subscribe if you'd like to.
- 34:22Speaker 4: Please do. You can watch and see the videos. They
- 34:26Speaker 4: look a lot fuller.
- 34:27Speaker 2: They look a lot fuller, which tells me, you guys,
- 34:31Speaker 2: are the most real of the real reality stars, are
- 34:34Speaker 2: they going towards the other reality stars? Are we going
- 34:38Speaker 2: to start seeing giant teeth? Are we going to start
- 34:41Speaker 2: seeing lip injections? Are we going to start seeing Botox
- 34:44Speaker 2: and some other things that we have never seen these
- 34:47Speaker 2: women do? It's starting with Cody, you guys. I mean,
- 34:52Speaker 2: he already dyed his hair blonde and got a perm.
- 34:54Speaker 2: So what's next? And now for such a juicy story.
- 34:58Speaker 2: You've heard about Dirty Johns. Have you heard about a
- 35:01Speaker 2: Dirty Jane? Well, I talked to the cheese gal. That's
- 35:05Speaker 2: her name on the internet. She has such a juicy
- 35:08Speaker 2: story about a woman who infiltrated her single dad's life.
- 35:13Speaker 2: That is unbelievable. And she tells a story so well.
- 35:18Speaker 2: And I asked lots of good questions and, It's real juicy.
- 35:22Speaker 2: So here we go. Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop.
- 35:27Speaker 2: I have a really juicy story with a fabulous gal.
- 35:31Speaker 4: It's the cheese gal.
- 35:33Speaker 2: But she has more juicy things going on in her
- 35:35Speaker 2: life besides just her fabulous presence on the internet where
- 35:40Speaker 2: she kind of created this whole cheese and wine great
- 35:46Speaker 2: Instagram and TikTok. Welcome, Courtney.
- 35:51Speaker 4: Courtney LaCourte. Thank you so much. Yes. Courtney LaCourte. Courtney LaCourte. Yes.
- 35:56Speaker 4: Is that your stage name?
- 35:57Speaker 2: What a stage name.
- 35:58Speaker 4: That's my married name.
- 35:59Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 35:59Speaker 4: Courtney LaCourte. Wow, that's pretty cute. Honestly, hard to forget
- 36:02Speaker 4: that one. Yes. And you're in Nashville, right?
- 36:05Speaker 2: I am.
- 36:06Speaker 4: I'm actually in my husband's. He's a producer and songwriter.
- 36:08Speaker 4: I'm at his place today because I figured this is
- 36:10Speaker 4: like best acoustic setup. Oh, good. Good. Okay.
- 36:15Speaker 2: So, you know, you were brought to my attention.
- 36:18Speaker 4: Yes.
- 36:18Speaker 2: And I went and watched your whole story, which you originally,
- 36:22Speaker 2: I guess, told in pieces on TikTok and then put
- 36:27Speaker 2: it together in a story highlight.
- 36:30Speaker 4: Right.
- 36:31Speaker 2: But it's a very fascinating situation that I don't think
- 36:35Speaker 2: we've heard enough about. Obviously, people know I was obsessed
- 36:38Speaker 2: with Dirty John. I've done lots of Dirty John stories.
- 36:42Speaker 2: And I have said on the show that You know,
- 36:45Speaker 2: there's been dirty Janes for years and gold diggers and
- 36:49Speaker 2: what have you. But I think that's somewhat more acceptable
- 36:54Speaker 2: or men are even that much more.
- 36:56Speaker 4: Embarrassed by it. And we just don't hear about it.
- 37:00Speaker 2: And what's interesting about your story is this happened to
- 37:04Speaker 2: your father. And I actually.
- 37:07Speaker 4: Have a friend, you know, that has.
- 37:10Speaker 2: Some similar concerns about since her mother passed. And so
- 37:14Speaker 2: I think what's amazing about your story, which we're going
- 37:18Speaker 2: to hear in a minute, is being in that position of,
- 37:22Speaker 2: you know, being the child of a senior who has
- 37:27Speaker 2: never dated, never been on apps, met his wife at 25, whatever,
- 37:31Speaker 2: and whether they're widowed or happily divorced or vice versa,
- 37:36Speaker 2: it's a very difficult position to be in as the
- 37:39Speaker 2: child and then in your situation. So why don't you
- 37:43Speaker 2: just start from the beginning and what your parent situation
- 37:47Speaker 2: was and, you know, the dynamic in the family. Right.
- 37:51Speaker 4: Well, exactly to your point, finding yourself in the situation
- 37:54Speaker 4: as the child is a whole, it's a whole thing.
- 37:56Speaker 4: So my parents were married for 36 years. I want
- 37:59Speaker 4: to say got divorced in 2020 and both started dating
- 38:04Speaker 4: and oh my God, watching your parents swipe left or right.
- 38:07Speaker 4: Like it's their damn job. That was interesting. But, you know,
- 38:12Speaker 4: it's hard to watch your dad, especially when he takes
- 38:14Speaker 4: it so hard. He's dating and just heartbroken. And finally
- 38:17Speaker 4: one day, about a year and a half.
- 38:19Speaker 2: And when you say he was heartbroken, do you feel
- 38:21Speaker 2: that the divorce was more your mom's doing?
- 38:26Speaker 4: So he didn't want it? He didn't want it, but
- 38:29Speaker 4: they both mutually agreed. They're like oil and water. Like
- 38:32Speaker 4: nothing necessarily bad happened. Not one person cheated or anything. But,
- 38:36Speaker 4: you know, it was just better for everyone. But, yeah,
- 38:38Speaker 4: my dad took it harder. He's depressed now. still trying
- 38:41Speaker 4: to date, trying to find someone like my mom.
- 38:44Speaker 2: And as you, as you, sorry, as you as the daughter,
- 38:46Speaker 2: were you surprised by the breakup? Is this something that
- 38:49Speaker 2: you often wondered about in high school and college? And like,
- 38:53Speaker 2: when are the two of you just going to be
- 38:54Speaker 2: smart enough to call an attorney or what were your thoughts?
- 38:57Speaker 4: Oh yeah. I had been begging them for 10 plus years.
- 39:00Speaker 4: Please guys get divorced. We all love each other, but
- 39:02Speaker 4: we're all such a tight knit family. And you know,
- 39:04Speaker 4: we're also religious. And I think that had a part
- 39:06Speaker 4: to play. you know, in the Bible Belt, how that is.
- 39:09Speaker 4: It's kind of like people look down on divorce, you know,
- 39:11Speaker 4: in the church anyway. So I think they stayed together for.
- 39:14Speaker 2: A while because of that.
- 39:17Speaker 4: Okay.
- 39:18Speaker 2: So your dad is now getting out there and he
- 39:20Speaker 2: does the apps. And what apps does he do?
- 39:24Speaker 4: Oh, girl, they were doing Tinder. They were doing Bumble.
- 39:26Speaker 4: They were naming off apps I didn't know existed.
- 39:28Speaker 2: Okay.
- 39:29Speaker 4: Isn't there like one for older people?
- 39:31Speaker 2: Like, what is it called?
- 39:33Speaker 4: Our Time. That's probably one he was on, to be honest. Yeah.
- 39:37Speaker 4: I mean, my God, he was on all of them,
- 39:39Speaker 4: as was my mom. But she was doing a lot
- 39:42Speaker 4: better than he was. And about a year and a
- 39:44Speaker 4: half after their divorce, this is when we find out about,
- 39:48Speaker 4: we call her Kathy in the story. calls to tell
- 39:51Speaker 4: me he met somebody and I at this point I'm
- 39:53Speaker 4: so thrilled because he had been so heartbroken and it
- 39:55Speaker 4: was really hard to watch him go through that and
- 39:57Speaker 4: he's like she's wonderful all the same interest she's this
- 40:01Speaker 4: she's that and I go really like what kind of
- 40:03Speaker 4: interest and he starts listing out things like bass fishing
- 40:08Speaker 4: western movies acoustic guitar and I'm like huh that's very
- 40:14Speaker 4: specific dad okay but you know great sounds good how
- 40:18Speaker 4: old does she tell me about her She's 49. And
- 40:21Speaker 4: I was like, okay, a little bit of an age
- 40:23Speaker 4: gap at this point.
- 40:24Speaker 2: My dad's like 66, 67.
- 40:26Speaker 4: So, you know, but you know, I feel like at
- 40:28Speaker 4: a certain age, like it doesn't matter.
- 40:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:30Speaker 4: 18 years.
- 40:30Speaker 2: That's not crazy. It's not like she's 25.
- 40:33Speaker 5: Okay.
- 40:33Speaker 3: Right.
- 40:34Speaker 5: Right.
- 40:35Speaker 4: But, and then he also tells me a little bit
- 40:37Speaker 4: about her background. She's a survivor of domestic abuse. She's
- 40:42Speaker 4: writing a book. She's had all these crazy husbands been
- 40:44Speaker 4: married twice. And they were both crazy and abusive and this,
- 40:47Speaker 4: and she's writing a book and telling her story. And
- 40:49Speaker 4: I'm like, wow. Okay. She's overcome a lot. Like that's great.
- 40:54Speaker 4: Three weeks into them dating. He literally, I get off
- 40:58Speaker 4: the phone with him, with him telling me it's pretty casual.
- 41:02Speaker 4: And then my sister and I see that they are
- 41:04Speaker 4: one hour later, Facebook official saying, I love you posting
- 41:08Speaker 4: all these pictures of them, like basically making out blessed.
- 41:11Speaker 4: And I'm just like, not ready for this. It's 10 AM. Okay.
- 41:15Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying? So And maybe this is
- 41:18Speaker 4: meddling or not, but my sister and I were like,
- 41:21Speaker 4: we're calling a family meeting, okay? This is too much,
- 41:24Speaker 4: too soon. We're worried about you, Dad.
- 41:26Speaker 2: And it's only your sister and you, right?
- 41:28Speaker 4: Only the two of us. We're very close. She's a
- 41:31Speaker 4: little bit younger than me. And so we called Dad
- 41:34Speaker 4: up and we're like, we love you. We're excited for you.
- 41:37Speaker 4: We're a little concerned that this is moving a little
- 41:39Speaker 4: bit too fast. You've been with Mom for forever. And
- 41:41Speaker 4: we just want you to be careful. And he assures
- 41:44Speaker 4: us everything's fine. It's all good. And we're like, all right.
- 41:48Speaker 4: The next day, Heather, literally one day later, I go
- 41:52Speaker 4: to get a little nosy, look up Kathy on Facebook.
- 41:55Speaker 4: Can't find her. And I'm like, huh, that's weird. Maybe
- 41:59Speaker 4: she deactivated her account. That's probably what she did. So
- 42:01Speaker 4: I call up my sister and I'm like, hey, can
- 42:03Speaker 4: you see Kathy on Facebook? And she goes, yeah, I've
- 42:05Speaker 4: always been able to. She's like, wait a second. I
- 42:08Speaker 4: don't see her. And I go, the bitch blocked us.
- 42:12Speaker 4: She blocked us. And I go, this is so bizarre.
- 42:14Speaker 4: I'm like, wait a minute. This can't be right. My
- 42:17Speaker 4: dad's girlfriend, who we've never met, blocks us on Facebook. Okay.
- 42:20Speaker 2: And you've never met her because how far are you
- 42:23Speaker 2: living apart?
- 42:23Speaker 4: So we're in Nashville and they're in Texas. So, you know. Yeah.
- 42:28Speaker 4: Two hour flight, 10 hour drive. Yeah. And we call
- 42:33Speaker 4: him and we're like, hey, did your girlfriend block us
- 42:36Speaker 4: on Facebook? And he goes, listen, honey, it was to
- 42:38Speaker 4: protect you. And we're like, excuse me? Protect me from what, dad?
- 42:42Speaker 4: That's such an odd. response and he ends up actually
- 42:45Speaker 4: admitting that it was a knee-jerk reaction after a fight
- 42:49Speaker 4: that they had and i said to him right then
- 42:51Speaker 4: and there i go dad that is a really strange
- 42:55Speaker 4: like reasoning or reaction to a fight you guys had
- 42:58Speaker 4: to block your daughters that's odd we hang up.
- 43:01Speaker 2: It's really odd because i would think anybody in that
- 43:04Speaker 2: position mm-hmm That is trying to, likes an older guy
- 43:09Speaker 2: and is trying to like maybe marry them or whatever.
- 43:12Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 43:12Speaker 2: Their whole thing would be like, you know, and maybe
- 43:16Speaker 2: this would also be a red flag. I want to
- 43:18Speaker 2: meet your daughters. Oh my God, I love kids. How
- 43:20Speaker 2: old are their children? You're such a great grandma. Like,
- 43:23Speaker 2: you know, so it's like the complete weird opposite of that,
- 43:27Speaker 2: that like she wouldn't want to try to like kiss
- 43:29Speaker 2: your ass. Right.
- 43:31Speaker 4: That's what I would think, especially after being married for
- 43:33Speaker 4: so long. Like, yeah, there's a new woman. I mean,
- 43:35Speaker 4: that's what I would do anyway. Yeah, you're right. So
- 43:38Speaker 4: we're like, Dad, that's really weird. We hang up the
- 43:41Speaker 4: phone and I'll never forget. This is the first time
- 43:43Speaker 4: I ever say out loud. I look over at my
- 43:45Speaker 4: husband and I go, something's wrong. I can just tell
- 43:47Speaker 4: you I can feel it in my gut. He's like,
- 43:49Speaker 4: I just think she's being bitchy. I go, no, I
- 43:51Speaker 4: feel it. And I can't explain it. But let's see.
- 43:55Speaker 4: So she unblocks us after, I guess, they talk. Facebook
- 43:58Speaker 4: plays games. a larger part in the story, unfortunately, that
- 44:01Speaker 4: I would enjoy. But anyway, a few months goes by
- 44:05Speaker 4: and we start getting calls. My mom and I and
- 44:08Speaker 4: my sister start getting phone calls from family friends saying
- 44:12Speaker 4: that a woman named Kathy friended them on Facebook. They
- 44:16Speaker 4: didn't know who it was. They click on it, click
- 44:17Speaker 4: on her profile. They see that she's dating my dad,
- 44:19Speaker 4: like very clearly dating my dad. They're like, this is
- 44:21Speaker 4: so odd. I mean, we're getting from old family friends,
- 44:24Speaker 4: people went to middle school with. I mean, just the
- 44:26Speaker 4: most strange collection of people. I'm like, this is so bizarre.
- 44:30Speaker 4: I go to click on her Facebook profile. We had
- 44:33Speaker 4: only one or two mutual friends when she and dad
- 44:35Speaker 4: started dating. We now had over 50. And I start
- 44:39Speaker 4: looking through this mutual friends list. And I quickly realized
- 44:41Speaker 4: these are not people that were on my dad's friends list.
- 44:44Speaker 4: These are people that were mainly on my friends list.
- 44:46Speaker 4: And he had just been undergoing like hip surgery or
- 44:49Speaker 4: knee surgery. So while he's laid up on painkillers, she's
- 44:52Speaker 4: going through my Facebook friends list. I'm like, what is
- 44:55Speaker 4: the point here? What, you know, this is so strange.
- 44:57Speaker 4: So call dad. tell him what's going on and he
- 45:01Speaker 4: also seems really concerned and he lets me know that
- 45:04Speaker 4: Kathy is out getting his medication so he can talk
- 45:07Speaker 4: for a minute we're talking he's like what this is
- 45:09Speaker 4: so odd I go dad she's even friending people I
- 45:12Speaker 4: dated like what the hell and he goes I don't
- 45:15Speaker 4: know this is really and as he's talking I hear
- 45:18Speaker 4: the door chime go off like she's back home and
- 45:21Speaker 4: he goes from talking to me like this oh yeah
- 45:23Speaker 4: baby sounds great absolutely we'll talk later okay and I'm
- 45:27Speaker 4: like And I'm like, dad, are you okay? And he goes,
- 45:30Speaker 4: I don't want World War III. I do not want
- 45:32Speaker 4: World War III.
- 45:33Speaker 2: And I'm like, all I'm imagining is your dad laid
- 45:35Speaker 2: up with like his leg and he's like incapacitated and
- 45:39Speaker 2: fucking Kathy Bates. Literally comes back from misery.
- 45:43Speaker 4: That's exactly what this feels like.
- 45:46Speaker 3: God.
- 45:46Speaker 4: So I'm just like, shit. Okay. We hang up and
- 45:50Speaker 4: I'm like, are you okay? Because then I start to
- 45:52Speaker 4: realize he's afraid of her. And that's the first time,
- 45:55Speaker 4: I mean, my dad's an Italian stallion. Okay. He's strong, man.
- 45:59Speaker 4: I've never in my life heard my dad with that
- 46:01Speaker 4: tone of voice. So I fire off a text and
- 46:03Speaker 4: I'm like, are you okay? Are you safe? I'm saying
- 46:05Speaker 4: things like that to him because it scared me so bad.
- 46:07Speaker 4: And he's like, I'm fine. I just don't want to
- 46:09Speaker 4: deal with a fight with her. I'm like, I understand,
- 46:13Speaker 4: but please understand that I'm not going to reach out
- 46:15Speaker 4: and send her a message. No, at this point, I
- 46:18Speaker 4: know she's helping him recover. Yeah.
- 46:21Speaker 2: Has she moved herself in or what's going on?
- 46:23Speaker 4: Completely. She's completely living there. No job, no car. Fully
- 46:29Speaker 4: living with my dad and living off of him. I
- 46:32Speaker 4: think they're four months in.
- 46:33Speaker 2: Where did she say she was even coming from to him?
- 46:36Speaker 2: Did she ever have an apartment or a home?
- 46:39Speaker 4: That's a great question that I don't have an answer to.
- 46:42Speaker 4: I have no idea. I never got to know... That
- 46:46Speaker 4: part of the story, I mean, my dad just said
- 46:48Speaker 4: it was a whirlwind romance. So she moved in pretty quickly.
- 46:51Speaker 2: I think she was so crazy about the apps, you know,
- 46:56Speaker 2: is that because you're not meeting someone through friends or
- 47:00Speaker 2: through work or through whatever, they really can. And especially
- 47:04Speaker 2: when you're older, you really can tell whatever story you want.
- 47:10Speaker 2: And then I always remember my friend dated someone Who
- 47:15Speaker 2: turned out to be a sociopath.
- 47:17Speaker 4: But she said the same thing. This is when we're, like,
- 47:19Speaker 4: in our 20s.
- 47:21Speaker 2: And she's like, oh, my God, it's the greatest. I
- 47:23Speaker 2: like jelly bellies. He likes jelly bellies. Like, it was
- 47:26Speaker 2: the most, like, littlest things. Like, very unique. Just, like,
- 47:31Speaker 2: the best. Like, it's one thing to be like, hey,
- 47:33Speaker 2: we're both adventurous. Or we're both the people that want
- 47:37Speaker 2: to land or cabana for the entire vacation. We have
- 47:40Speaker 2: that in common. But to be so specific, like, John
- 47:44Speaker 2: Wayne movies. Not just fishing, but the bass fishing.
- 47:47Speaker 4: The bass fishing and the Western movies. And Court, you
- 47:49Speaker 4: know how much I love John Wayne? And I'm like, yeah,
- 47:52Speaker 4: it's almost like she saw my Facebook profile, right? Right.
- 47:56Speaker 2: Okay, so you're worried about this exchange on the phone
- 47:58Speaker 2: and then what?
- 48:00Speaker 4: So we hang up. I sit in the text and
- 48:02Speaker 4: I'm like, listen, I understand that you're not going to
- 48:04Speaker 4: say anything to her, but I am going to, because
- 48:07Speaker 4: this is making us all feel very uncomfortable. She was
- 48:09Speaker 4: even fretting at my mom's best friends and their sons.
- 48:12Speaker 2: Like, do you see, it just was like, and at
- 48:14Speaker 2: this point, had you talked to your mom about it?
- 48:17Speaker 4: Oh yeah. See, that's the thing is we're a very
- 48:19Speaker 4: close family. Mom and I, and even my dad was
- 48:21Speaker 4: still close with my mom at this point.
- 48:22Speaker 2: So, uh, and what was your mom thinking? Was she
- 48:26Speaker 2: concerned or not concerned?
- 48:27Speaker 4: Right away. Concerned right away from the first time she
- 48:31Speaker 4: blocked us. Um, And so, yeah, I mean, she was
- 48:35Speaker 4: even one to make some suggestions for some of the
- 48:38Speaker 4: actions we took later on in the story. But, yeah,
- 48:41Speaker 4: so I just, like, I'm going to send her a
- 48:43Speaker 4: Facebook message. So I said, Kathy, a Facebook message, my
- 48:47Speaker 4: first time to ever really speak with her. Are you
- 48:49Speaker 4: able to do that even though you've been blocked? She
- 48:52Speaker 4: unblocked us at this point. Right after she, like, Dad
- 48:55Speaker 4: and I had that conversation.
- 48:56Speaker 2: Okay.
- 48:56Speaker 4: He had her unblock us. All right. Anyway, so I'm like, hey, Kathy, listen.
- 49:03Speaker 4: I know we got started off the wrong foot with
- 49:05Speaker 4: you blocking us, but I, uh, we're getting all these
- 49:08Speaker 4: texts and calls. I kind of go into the story
- 49:10Speaker 4: and I'm like, we're trying to understand where you're coming from. Also,
- 49:13Speaker 4: please stop. It's making people uncomfortable, including my mom and
- 49:17Speaker 4: I and my sister and you know, talk to you soon.
- 49:21Speaker 4: And I'm fully expecting her to come back, explain, apologize
- 49:25Speaker 4: what any normal person would do. No, she comes out
- 49:28Speaker 4: swinging like. Out the gate, the first sentence is, hi, Courtney.
- 49:32Speaker 4: I don't give a shit if you're your sister like me.
- 49:36Speaker 4: I'm the one here taking care of your dad. Goes on,
- 49:39Speaker 4: I love him more than you do. You're causing him
- 49:41Speaker 4: so much stress. You're going to give him a heart attack.
- 49:44Speaker 4: That's the first time she ever makes that comment to me,
- 49:46Speaker 4: is you're going to give him a heart attack. Important
- 49:48Speaker 4: to note. And then she signs off. The best part is, peace, love,
- 49:53Speaker 4: and blessings, Kathy. I respond. Okay, so that's how you
- 50:00Speaker 4: want to play it. Got it. Roger that. And again,
- 50:03Speaker 4: look at my husband. I go, something is wrong. I
- 50:05Speaker 4: can't feel it. I need to figure out what this is. Wait,
- 50:07Speaker 4: is that what you write back? Is that how you
- 50:08Speaker 4: want to play it? I literally just, oh, yeah, that's
- 50:10Speaker 4: all I said. Okay, so that's how you want to
- 50:12Speaker 4: play it. Got it. That's the message. She doesn't respond.
- 50:15Speaker 2: Okay.
- 50:16Speaker 4: I take screenshots of that message, send it to my
- 50:19Speaker 4: dad so he could see clearly what was said. Nothing
- 50:21Speaker 4: could be twisted. And I don't hear back from him
- 50:26Speaker 4: for months. I'm over a month, month, month and a half.
- 50:29Speaker 4: We don't talk. And that's a big deal for our.
- 50:31Speaker 4: How what do you mean? He's not taking your calls
- 50:33Speaker 4: or what? Not taking my calls. But so it's just
- 50:35Speaker 4: going to voice sister. No, he just wasn't calling me
- 50:39Speaker 4: back or wasn't texting me back. He might have one
- 50:43Speaker 4: word responded to a couple of things. Like it was
- 50:45Speaker 4: my daughter's birthday over some over that time that we
- 50:48Speaker 4: weren't talking. So I think he said happy birthday, Charlotte,
- 50:50Speaker 4: or things like that, but not not really talked at all.
- 50:52Speaker 4: But he was talking to my sister. Okay. Not talking
- 50:55Speaker 4: to his brother. So then you start to see that
- 50:58Speaker 4: the alienation is going into further. So she's isolating him.
- 51:02Speaker 4: And I am doing, you know, all I know to
- 51:05Speaker 4: do on the Internet, looking up her name. And all
- 51:07Speaker 4: that I can find is an old, like, local TV
- 51:11Speaker 4: interview where she's talking about how she's a survivor and
- 51:14Speaker 4: how she's going to write this book and raising awareness about.
- 51:18Speaker 2: About domestic violence.
- 51:19Speaker 4: Mm-hmm. And then the only other thing that I see
- 51:21Speaker 4: is that she was a missing person a couple of
- 51:24Speaker 4: years back. But there was no resolve or no explanation
- 51:29Speaker 4: as to why. It just said she was reported as
- 51:30Speaker 4: a missing person and then she was found. And so
- 51:32Speaker 4: you're like, okay, this is really... And there were no
- 51:34Speaker 4: details of how she was found.
- 51:35Speaker 2: Mm-mm. So this is like a Sherry Papini situation.
- 51:38Speaker 4: Yep.
- 51:39Speaker 5: Yep.
- 51:40Speaker 4: So odd.
- 51:40Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 51:41Speaker 4: Okay, continue. So dad and I don't talk. And there
- 51:45Speaker 4: was one day I'm like sitting in the Target parking
- 51:48Speaker 4: lot and I'm just thinking about him. I'm like, screw it.
- 51:51Speaker 4: I'm going to call him again. Call him. He picks up.
- 51:55Speaker 4: And it's the first time he's picked up, but he
- 51:56Speaker 4: quickly lets me know I'm on speakerphone. And I'm like,
- 51:59Speaker 4: I'm like, perfect. Because there's something that I want to
- 52:02Speaker 4: say that I want her to hear. And I just said, dad,
- 52:06Speaker 4: I love you so much. And I don't know why
- 52:08Speaker 4: I said this, but I said, I've been praying for
- 52:10Speaker 4: your protection every single day. Please call me when we
- 52:13Speaker 4: can talk alone. And I hear him take this really
- 52:17Speaker 4: big sigh and I can feel the tension. Oh, you
- 52:19Speaker 4: know when you can feel that you can cut it
- 52:20Speaker 4: with a knife and it's over the phone. And he
- 52:23Speaker 4: just says, I love you too, Court. We'll talk soon.
- 52:26Speaker 4: We hang up. And I fire off the text immediately.
- 52:29Speaker 4: And I said, dad, please, please, please call me whenever
- 52:31Speaker 4: we can talk alone this week. And he responds with, no,
- 52:35Speaker 4: I'm committed to Kathy, honey. And that's when I realized
- 52:37Speaker 4: he's not allowed to talk to me without her in
- 52:39Speaker 4: the room. That was my first realization of, oh my God.
- 52:43Speaker 4: So Red alert, obviously. I'm like, holy shit. This just
- 52:49Speaker 4: went from zero to 100. I'm like, I call my
- 52:53Speaker 4: mom and my sister and my aunt. I'm talking with
- 52:55Speaker 4: all of our like close family at this point because
- 52:57Speaker 4: we're all getting very concerned. And then this just took
- 52:59Speaker 4: it up a notch. And I'm like, who do I
- 53:01Speaker 4: talk to? Who has met her? And the only person
- 53:05Speaker 4: at this point or people that had met her at
- 53:07Speaker 4: this point are our close family friends. We're going to
- 53:10Speaker 4: call them Larry and Sally. We've been friends for over
- 53:13Speaker 4: 30 years. They're like second parents to me. And they
- 53:15Speaker 4: had gone on double dates with dad and Kathy. Because
- 53:18Speaker 4: they live near your dad. They live near my dad.
- 53:20Speaker 4: And for whatever reason, she must have not felt threatened
- 53:24Speaker 4: by them or something. Or they're also well off. So
- 53:28Speaker 4: when you start to put the dots together, you're kind
- 53:29Speaker 4: of like, oh, I think maybe they were her next
- 53:32Speaker 4: mark or something. And I'm curious.
- 53:35Speaker 3: Yes.
- 53:35Speaker 2: Were they fond of her prior to hearing about this?
- 53:39Speaker 2: Because I'm imagining she was probably, oh, so sweet to
- 53:43Speaker 2: the wife or let me help you in the kitchen
- 53:45Speaker 2: and probably lying about her past and how relatable she
- 53:50Speaker 2: is to their lifestyle.
- 53:52Speaker 4: She had gotten very close with the wife. In fact,
- 53:56Speaker 4: she was even like training her in the gym and
- 54:00Speaker 4: stuff like that. So they were like spending a lot
- 54:01Speaker 4: of time together. Larry, said he always felt a strange
- 54:06Speaker 4: like thing. He couldn't put his finger on. So as
- 54:09Speaker 4: we're on the phone, so back up, I just sped ahead.
- 54:13Speaker 4: So I'm like, I got to talk to them. I
- 54:15Speaker 4: called their daughter first that I am friends with. And
- 54:18Speaker 4: I tell her what's going on. And she's like, holy shit, Courtney.
- 54:21Speaker 4: And I go, I know she was, you need to
- 54:22Speaker 4: talk to my parents like right now. So we set
- 54:24Speaker 4: up a call, hop on the phone with everybody. And
- 54:27Speaker 4: they're like, they said, we had no idea. He hasn't
- 54:30Speaker 4: told us. that there have been any problems with you
- 54:33Speaker 4: guys at all. I guess Kathy had made a couple
- 54:36Speaker 4: of comments about me and there being something with me
- 54:40Speaker 4: that was negative, but I don't remember exactly what it was.
- 54:42Speaker 4: And he says, you know, the strangest thing about this
- 54:44Speaker 4: whole thing is that I know your dad and how
- 54:46Speaker 4: much he loves his girls. Like he loves y'all more
- 54:48Speaker 4: than life itself. So for me, that's the biggest red
- 54:51Speaker 4: flag that he would allow anybody to come in, you know,
- 54:53Speaker 4: and kind of cause division. And then I bring up
- 54:57Speaker 4: the Facebook thing about how we had all these mutual
- 54:59Speaker 4: friends on Facebook and he goes, Huh. While we're on
- 55:02Speaker 4: the phone. Let me check my Facebook friends. So he
- 55:05Speaker 4: gets on his Facebook. They have over 60 mutual friends.
- 55:09Speaker 4: Now at this point, he goes, Courtney, we had one
- 55:11Speaker 4: or two when they started.
- 55:12Speaker 2: So she went and befriended their whole social circle. Yes.
- 55:16Speaker 4: People. Okay. So he's in his seventies. He said, people
- 55:19Speaker 4: that I went to elementary school with. So you're like, what?
- 55:23Speaker 4: And he goes, okay. So to do like a little tester,
- 55:27Speaker 4: he said, we're actually supposed to go out with them tonight.
- 55:30Speaker 4: I'm going to say the name of this guy that's
- 55:32Speaker 4: here in town that's very wealthy. I'm going to say
- 55:35Speaker 4: it in front of her so she hears me, and
- 55:37Speaker 4: let's see what she does. He calls me the next morning.
- 55:40Speaker 4: She took the bait. She friends that person too. And
- 55:43Speaker 4: I'm also like, who are these people that are just
- 55:44Speaker 4: accepting friends with us from people they don't know? Like,
- 55:47Speaker 4: that's also strange to me.
- 55:48Speaker 2: I think that's also kind of an older person thing
- 55:51Speaker 2: because I don't think it happens that much. And they're like, okay,
- 55:54Speaker 2: looks like a normal person. Or they go, oh, they
- 55:57Speaker 2: know these people or like, you know, she lives in
- 55:59Speaker 2: Texas now and whatever.
- 56:01Speaker 4: Who cares? That's kind of what I think. So then
- 56:04Speaker 4: we're like, okay, this is really strange. hang up with them.
- 56:08Speaker 4: And I am, how can I, and it's not like
- 56:10Speaker 4: I can just go to Texas and walk into his house.
- 56:13Speaker 4: At this point, they're talking marriage. He is in so deep.
- 56:16Speaker 4: He's barely speaking to me. I just knew we had
- 56:19Speaker 4: to be strategic. It's just like an innate thing. I'm like,
- 56:22Speaker 4: I know whatever I say to him, I just have
- 56:24Speaker 4: to have some evidence to back up. So I've got
- 56:27Speaker 4: to find out what is the dirt on this, on
- 56:29Speaker 4: this woman. So my mom actually brings up, she's like,
- 56:32Speaker 4: have you talked to his old singing partner? Your dad's
- 56:37Speaker 4: old singer. Yes. Dad plays guitar around town, does these
- 56:40Speaker 4: little gigs. So cute. You know, he's like basically retired.
- 56:42Speaker 4: So he does it for fun. And he had the
- 56:44Speaker 4: singing partner for like over a year that they would
- 56:46Speaker 4: do these gigs. Well, they stopped singing around the time
- 56:49Speaker 4: that Kathy entered the picture. So my mom goes, you
- 56:51Speaker 4: need to talk to her, see if she knows anything. Oh,
- 56:54Speaker 4: she's a female. Well, of course she wouldn't like that.
- 56:56Speaker 2: Of course.
- 56:57Speaker 4: Of course. So I send her a message and I'm like,
- 57:00Speaker 4: hey girl, sorry to bring this up, but I just lay,
- 57:03Speaker 4: I'm like, I'm desperate. Have you met Kathy? And she
- 57:06Speaker 4: responds back very quickly and is like, oh, I've met
- 57:09Speaker 4: Kathy and she is insane. She goes, can I call you?
- 57:12Speaker 4: And I go, please. So she calls me, she lets
- 57:16Speaker 4: me know. She goes, I'm just going to tell you something.
- 57:17Speaker 4: She goes, I love your dad, but that woman, like
- 57:20Speaker 4: something is wrong with her. She goes, Courtney, like one
- 57:24Speaker 4: of the gigs, one of the last gigs that they
- 57:25Speaker 4: did there was some sort of altercation that was started
- 57:29Speaker 4: by Kathy. She goes, it was bizarre. She goes, I've
- 57:33Speaker 4: never been spoken to like that as an adult. So
- 57:34Speaker 4: she like lashes out at her. They stopped playing. Okay.
- 57:39Speaker 4: A few months later, she says, this is over the summer.
- 57:42Speaker 4: Now she receives a Facebook message from a profile that
- 57:46Speaker 4: looks to be Kathy. In fact, the name is like
- 57:48Speaker 4: whatever her Kathy Jones, but when she goes to click
- 57:51Speaker 4: on the profile photo, she sees it's Kathy's mugshot. And she,
- 57:56Speaker 4: In the bio, it says something like, gold digger, do
- 58:00Speaker 4: not trust. She'll take all you have and accuse you
- 58:03Speaker 4: of assault. And so it's like a warning Facebook. So
- 58:06Speaker 4: if you go to look up her name, that's what
- 58:09Speaker 4: would pop up. And wait, so somebody sent that to her?
- 58:12Speaker 4: Someone sent this to the singing partner.
- 58:15Speaker 2: Because whoever that person that she rung before knew that
- 58:18Speaker 2: Kathy was involved in this circle of people.
- 58:20Speaker 4: With my dad, probably.
- 58:21Speaker 5: Got it.
- 58:22Speaker 4: Because they would post all these videos. And so she
- 58:24Speaker 4: opens up the message. And the message is like, hi,
- 58:27Speaker 4: saw you know Greg. And Kathy is not to be trusted.
- 58:34Speaker 4: She ruined my friend's life, framed him, accused him of assault,
- 58:38Speaker 4: stole all his money. So then we have that message.
- 58:42Speaker 4: And she's like, do with this information what you will. But,
- 58:47Speaker 4: you know, I also said, I have no skin in
- 58:49Speaker 4: the game, but thought I would pass this along to you.
- 58:52Speaker 4: And so, you know, she's telling me this information. I said,
- 58:55Speaker 4: can you screenshot that and send it to me right
- 58:57Speaker 4: now while we're on the phone? So while we're on
- 58:58Speaker 4: the phone, she screens, she sends it to me. And
- 59:00Speaker 4: then I fired off to my best friend and her
- 59:02Speaker 4: husband and my husband as well. But he's inside taking
- 59:05Speaker 4: care of the kids, you know, so he's busy. um
- 59:07Speaker 4: and she tells me I'm so sorry I didn't reach
- 59:10Speaker 4: out sooner I just didn't want to be involved this
- 59:13Speaker 4: is all really crazy and like no hard feelings so
- 59:16Speaker 4: we hang up and I call my best friend and
- 59:20Speaker 4: she goes Courtney we while you're on the phone we
- 59:25Speaker 4: look into she goes have you seen the mugshot and
- 59:27Speaker 4: I go no she goes first of all shows the
- 59:30Speaker 4: date of arrest is in January of this year. At
- 59:32Speaker 4: this point, we are in October. This is of 2021.
- 59:36Speaker 4: So nine months prior. Her last name is different on
- 59:41Speaker 4: the mugshot. And so we did a background check or
- 59:44Speaker 4: a quick little thing on the new last name. And
- 59:48Speaker 4: all of these things pop up from, I mean, her
- 59:50Speaker 4: criminal record starting in 1989. She has 20 something. I
- 59:52Speaker 4: actually went back 20 something different spellings of different names.
- 1:00:00Speaker 4: Like she would always keep her first name, but change
- 1:00:03Speaker 4: her last name and then would change out by one letter.
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: So it just all these different things, a burner phone number,
- 1:00:10Speaker 4: been married four or five times and told my dad
- 1:00:13Speaker 4: she'd been married twice. You can see there's multiple mugshots
- 1:00:17Speaker 4: where we were able to pull up. I mean, just
- 1:00:19Speaker 4: all of these things. You can see that she's been incarcerated,
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: but you can't really see where or the details of that.
- 1:00:24Speaker 4: Just lots of stuff for theft and We're like, holy shit.
- 1:00:29Speaker 4: This was it.
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: Theft like a fraud thing? Like bad checks and that
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: type of stuff?
- 1:00:36Speaker 4: Yes. Yes. And that's all we can see. Because when
- 1:00:38Speaker 4: you kind of pull these general background checks, you're not
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: getting detailed details.
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: Is she quite attractive?
- 1:00:42Speaker 4: What's her look-wise?
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: Is she put together or plastic-surgeried or what? No.
- 1:00:48Speaker 4: I mean, she was attractive. Attractive, for sure. But not.
- 1:00:54Speaker 4: Not like, you know, Pamela Anderson or anything like that.
- 1:00:58Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying?
- 1:00:59Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:00:59Speaker 4: And my dad, my dad's an attractive guy too for 67.
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: So I think, I don't know. So she's decently put together.
- 1:01:06Speaker 4: She's been through a lot, which you can tell. I
- 1:01:08Speaker 4: know it's rude, but you can. And so we get
- 1:01:11Speaker 4: this bombshell of her background and I'm like, holy shit.
- 1:01:15Speaker 4: I freaking knew it. I knew it. I just, and
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: finally it was this moment of like validation of I'm
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: not crazy. And then we're like, oh my God, we
- 1:01:22Speaker 4: got to get to my dad. Um, so we hang up,
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: I run inside, tell my husband and he's like, so
- 1:01:29Speaker 4: we're driving to Dallas tomorrow. I'm like, oh yeah, we're
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: getting in the car, throwing the kids in the car
- 1:01:33Speaker 4: at the crack of dawn. Um, now my kids are
- 1:01:36Speaker 4: going to be at my in-laws house. They were never
- 1:01:37Speaker 4: involved in all of this. And we're going to do
- 1:01:40Speaker 4: a surprise intervention. We knew if we gave her, she's
- 1:01:43Speaker 4: a pro. So if we give her any chance to
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: like get her shit together, like to manipulate him, to
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: change the story.
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: She's a professional criminal. So it's like, who knows what
- 1:01:53Speaker 4: she would do? Um, so we don't tell my dad,
- 1:01:57Speaker 4: but we, of course we're telling everyone that is in
- 1:01:59Speaker 4: the loop. Uh, Larry and Sally are like, oh my God. Okay. Well, listen,
- 1:02:05Speaker 4: let's host the intervention here. So we're driving in on
- 1:02:07Speaker 4: a Monday morning. Uh, we get, or sorry, we're driving there.
- 1:02:11Speaker 4: We get there late Monday night. He's like, they're supposed
- 1:02:13Speaker 4: to come over tomorrow. So let's do it here. The
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: whole plan is going to be, um, Hey, I just,
- 1:02:20Speaker 4: after five minutes after they get there, Hey, I just
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: got a call from court. She said, she's coming over.
- 1:02:24Speaker 4: It's something sounded like it was wrong. Is everything okay?
- 1:02:26Speaker 4: Like they're going to kind of play that. And he
- 1:02:28Speaker 4: just didn't want him to feel like he was ganged
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: up on. And luckily actually Larry has a lifelong career
- 1:02:34Speaker 4: history in mediation. So he's like the perfect person to
- 1:02:37Speaker 4: kind of host this and be neutral. And, and so
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: on that drive, I am looking up every single thing
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: I can about this woman.
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:02:45Speaker 4: I'm looking, Oh, I am. she's got like private investigator gal. Okay.
- 1:02:49Speaker 4: I missed my calling. That's what I should have been.
- 1:02:52Speaker 4: I'm looking, I'm finding all these Facebook groups that she
- 1:02:56Speaker 4: had for raising awareness for survivors. And then I find
- 1:03:01Speaker 4: this one comment from this woman who's like, Kathy, you
- 1:03:05Speaker 4: owe me this much money. You're a fraud. I'm like,
- 1:03:09Speaker 4: that's who I need to talk to. So I sent
- 1:03:11Speaker 4: her a message and, And she thankfully responds back and
- 1:03:15Speaker 4: is so kind. And she goes, Oh yeah, she's a
- 1:03:18Speaker 4: complete fraud lies about all these things. She owes me
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: thousands of dollars said she needed the money to go
- 1:03:24Speaker 4: to some charity event, never went to the charity event.
- 1:03:27Speaker 4: She was, I was paying her bills, like the whole thing.
- 1:03:30Speaker 4: And she gives me even more information for inmate numbers
- 1:03:34Speaker 4: at Different places she had been to.
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: So she could just charm anybody.
- 1:03:37Speaker 4: Anybody. Men and women.
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: Got a girlfriend. Met a friend. Got the friend thinking. She,
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: you know, I'm going to help this woman.
- 1:03:45Speaker 4: I'm her girlfriend.
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: We bond. She must have some charm or some fun personality.
- 1:03:51Speaker 4: Has to.
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: And then it probably takes, you know, a while for
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: someone to realize who they're with.
- 1:03:58Speaker 4: Yeah. You know? Definitely. And that's the crazy thing is
- 1:04:01Speaker 4: too is my dad was in such a vulnerable place.
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: Like you meet someone like Kathy, when you're healthy, you
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: may not be as inclined to like kind of go
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: along with this, but he was in such a bad place.
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: I mean, you know, so. Right. Bless. And so we
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: ended up finding out all of these things, even more stuff.
- 1:04:18Speaker 4: And then we have this plan in place that the
- 1:04:21Speaker 4: next day she's going down. I mean, truly. The second
- 1:04:26Speaker 4: we get to my in-laws, I'm printing out papers. I'm
- 1:04:30Speaker 4: getting folders together because I'm like, this is going to
- 1:04:32Speaker 4: be it. freaking presentation here you go here you go
- 1:04:35Speaker 4: here you go like we're gonna do this because i
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: knew my dad had to see it yeah you know
- 1:04:39Speaker 4: have it in front of him um put out her
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: mug shots and all that and then we get a
- 1:04:45Speaker 4: call uh the next morning early afternoon larry tells me
- 1:04:50Speaker 4: he's like listen i forgot a little detail and that's
- 1:04:53Speaker 4: that kathy like packs she carries a gun with her
- 1:05:00Speaker 4: because her ex-husbands are always stalking her and out to
- 1:05:03Speaker 4: get her. So, so she and your dad actually go
- 1:05:05Speaker 4: to the gun range all the time and she's an
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: incredible shot. So Chris and I were like, Oh shit. Okay. Um,
- 1:05:17Speaker 4: do we do this? This is, this is different. This is,
- 1:05:21Speaker 4: everything has escalated, but then we're also like, but my
- 1:05:23Speaker 4: dad's life could potentially be in danger too. If you know,
- 1:05:29Speaker 4: So I'm talking to Larry and Sally's daughter and she
- 1:05:33Speaker 4: suggests hiring this like bodyguard that she'd used for events
- 1:05:37Speaker 4: or whatever. She's like, I mean, he's great. And here's
- 1:05:39Speaker 4: his number and let's see if he's available. And he
- 1:05:42Speaker 4: was available. He asked for like a quick rundown of everything.
- 1:05:45Speaker 4: And he's like, Oh my God, this is a damn
- 1:05:47Speaker 4: lifetime movie. I'm like, I know.
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:05:50Speaker 4: Sorry, Bob. And then we have the plan in place,
- 1:05:54Speaker 4: meet him later that afternoon. It's like a few minutes
- 1:05:58Speaker 4: before we, go in the house. I actually have a video.
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: Were you so nervous or excited or both or what?
- 1:06:06Speaker 4: Heather, even when I talk about it, I have a
- 1:06:09Speaker 4: pit in my... It's like this pit where you're nervous
- 1:06:12Speaker 4: and it's like adrenaline and you're just like... This sounds
- 1:06:15Speaker 4: so dramatic, but I felt like I was literally going
- 1:06:17Speaker 4: in a battle to fight for my dad. I knew
- 1:06:20Speaker 4: her claws were just sunk in and it was going
- 1:06:24Speaker 4: to take a miracle.
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: Were you ever thinking like... different scenarios. Like what if
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: your dad was just full in the cult and was
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: just like, no, she's the love of my life. Get
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: the hell out. You actually like roll that in your
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: head too, of what the worst case scenario.
- 1:06:42Speaker 4: Fully prepared for that. That was hard too. And actually
- 1:06:45Speaker 4: something I didn't say on Instagram or TikTok, that's a detail.
- 1:06:49Speaker 4: There's so many details of the story that I forget sometimes,
- 1:06:52Speaker 4: but one detail was he called me He called me
- 1:06:55Speaker 4: in the middle of the day. He hadn't called me
- 1:06:56Speaker 4: in months on his own. And he was in the car.
- 1:07:00Speaker 4: And he just was telling me how much he loved me.
- 1:07:03Speaker 4: And it was hard. And he was alone when he
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: did that. And he was alone. Yeah, I get... Sometimes
- 1:07:09Speaker 4: it's a little emotional just because it's so hard.
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: When you had that call, were you like, Dad, I
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: just don't think this woman's right for you? Or did
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: you just take the love and let him be?
- 1:07:18Speaker 4: I took the love and I said one or two things,
- 1:07:21Speaker 4: but I pretty much let it be. Because, again... I
- 1:07:25Speaker 4: knew I couldn't say over the phone, here's all the
- 1:07:26Speaker 4: evidence I have that she's not who you think she is.
- 1:07:28Speaker 4: I knew I still had to see him because he
- 1:07:32Speaker 4: was so, and he even told me on the phone,
- 1:07:34Speaker 4: he was like, listen, I want you guys to try
- 1:07:36Speaker 4: to work it out because we are going to get married.
- 1:07:38Speaker 4: And so he's done. I'm like, oh shit. Oh, in fact,
- 1:07:40Speaker 4: in fact, the words were, we are all but married
- 1:07:43Speaker 4: is what he told me on the phone. And I'm like,
- 1:07:45Speaker 4: oh my God, I'm praying. She's not on the will
- 1:07:48Speaker 4: on the house on. Right. That's where my mind is going.
- 1:07:50Speaker 4: Cause you're starting to put the dots together of, oh, she's,
- 1:07:53Speaker 4: a con.
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: That's probably what is happening. You'll never get rid of her.
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: Once he marries her, you'll never get rid of her.
- 1:08:00Speaker 4: So yeah, we're a few minutes before the whole intervention
- 1:08:05Speaker 4: and I am sick to my stomach feeling like I
- 1:08:07Speaker 4: could throw up. I actually have a video. I don't
- 1:08:09Speaker 4: know why I took it, but my husband and I
- 1:08:11Speaker 4: are in the car and I'm like documenting. I'm like
- 1:08:13Speaker 4: this woman named da, da, da, da, da. Here's what's
- 1:08:15Speaker 4: going on. And I go through it all. I think
- 1:08:17Speaker 4: just so we could have it in case the fan
- 1:08:19Speaker 4: and we ever write some sort of, I don't know.
- 1:08:22Speaker 4: And then we go in and Sally opens up the door,
- 1:08:27Speaker 4: gives me a big hug. She whispers in my ear,
- 1:08:29Speaker 4: she was freaking out when she heard you were coming.
- 1:08:33Speaker 4: And I was like, oh, I bet. I bet so.
- 1:08:35Speaker 4: And she tells us they're in the office and waiting
- 1:08:38Speaker 4: for us. So God, this part gets me so There
- 1:08:44Speaker 4: are things when I impersonate Kathy, I feel crazy doing it,
- 1:08:48Speaker 4: but like this, this is how she was. There were
- 1:08:51Speaker 4: facial expressions and tone voice inflections and changes. I've never
- 1:08:55Speaker 4: seen anything like it in my entire life. My husband,
- 1:08:57Speaker 4: I mean, and we all witnessed this. That's the craziest thing.
- 1:09:00Speaker 4: So I walk into the office. Larry is behind his desk.
- 1:09:04Speaker 4: Dad and Kathy are straight ahead. First, I hug Larry.
- 1:09:09Speaker 4: I see my dad and he just looks sheet white,
- 1:09:13Speaker 4: sheet white. He looked terrified. And that's my first time
- 1:09:17Speaker 4: I'm ever meeting her. walk a little bit past her
- 1:09:21Speaker 4: and she's not there to me. And I just give
- 1:09:23Speaker 4: my dad the biggest hug I have ever given him ever.
- 1:09:27Speaker 4: And just said, I got you. I love you so much.
- 1:09:32Speaker 4: That's all I said. And I just look at her
- 1:09:33Speaker 4: stone cold. I'm gonna need a few minutes with my dad,
- 1:09:37Speaker 4: if you'll excuse us. She looks at me, daggers in
- 1:09:42Speaker 4: her eyes. I mean, all of us have talked about
- 1:09:45Speaker 4: it since the daggers in her eyes. Absolutely like that. Sure.
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 1:09:52Speaker 4: She leaves, goes with Sally. Poor Sally. She really holds
- 1:09:56Speaker 4: this part of the story down. MVP. They go out
- 1:09:59Speaker 4: there and we quickly realize that there's a fireplace that
- 1:10:03Speaker 4: kind of goes into the living room. So it's the
- 1:10:05Speaker 4: office and the living room's fireplace. So we're like, we
- 1:10:07Speaker 4: got to go to another room so she can't hear us.
- 1:10:10Speaker 4: And my dad is like, Courtney, what is going on?
- 1:10:12Speaker 4: What's happening? And I pass out the folders. Again, it's
- 1:10:17Speaker 4: a presentation. And I'm like, I love you so much, dad.
- 1:10:21Speaker 4: In fact, I love you so much. We threw the
- 1:10:22Speaker 4: kids in the car yesterday morning, drove here to tell
- 1:10:27Speaker 4: you that she is not who you think she is.
- 1:10:30Speaker 4: And that's when I open up the folders and I
- 1:10:33Speaker 4: had it strategically placed that the first thing he would
- 1:10:35Speaker 4: see is her most recent mugshot. And the first thing
- 1:10:39Speaker 4: out of his mouth is no, no, no. I knew
- 1:10:41Speaker 4: about this because, okay. Her ex-husband tried to frame her.
- 1:10:45Speaker 4: He injured himself, had her arrested. It was this whole,
- 1:10:49Speaker 4: and I go, dad, that's like, that's not true.
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: So this arrest was that she was, she did domestic
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: violence on her ex. She was the one that was violent.
- 1:11:02Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: Got it.
- 1:11:03Speaker 4: Okay. And so, but he knew about that one because
- 1:11:08Speaker 4: she was, you know, she was framed. right. I go, okay,
- 1:11:11Speaker 4: well look at, look at the next two dad. And
- 1:11:14Speaker 4: then here's her record. And then here, she did time
- 1:11:16Speaker 4: here and here. And I've talked to this person, that person,
- 1:11:19Speaker 4: her phone number is, is a burner phone. He goes, well,
- 1:11:22Speaker 4: I know that that's because, you know, her exes are crazy, Courtney.
- 1:11:25Speaker 4: And I'm like, okay, dad, I go, I need you
- 1:11:27Speaker 4: to understand that this whole thing, everything that she told
- 1:11:30Speaker 4: you was a lie. This is not true. She is
- 1:11:33Speaker 4: not who, you know, you think that she is. And
- 1:11:35Speaker 4: he just, you can just see him sink down and
- 1:11:37Speaker 4: his face goes white. And he's like, Oh, my God.
- 1:11:42Speaker 4: And it takes him a minute because he's like still
- 1:11:44Speaker 4: kind of defending some of the things, you know, because
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: he's been brainwashed for six.
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:11:48Speaker 4: By the way, all this happened in six months. Wow.
- 1:11:51Speaker 4: She was very efficient, you know. So finally, you know,
- 1:11:56Speaker 4: it comes down time to like. What are you going
- 1:12:00Speaker 4: to do? How do you feel about this? And he says,
- 1:12:02Speaker 4: I mean, I have to be done. Oh, what a
- 1:12:05Speaker 4: relief that must have been in that moment. Oh, my God.
- 1:12:08Speaker 4: I cried. It's bald. But I still knew, like, she's
- 1:12:12Speaker 4: still out there and living in his home. How are
- 1:12:14Speaker 4: we going to get her out? How are we going
- 1:12:15Speaker 4: to get her out of this house? And also, how
- 1:12:16Speaker 4: are we going to get her out of my dad's house?
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: And then what about the gun thing?
- 1:12:20Speaker 4: He told me that she had changed her purse that day.
- 1:12:23Speaker 4: So Bob, the bodyguard, by the way, is not in
- 1:12:25Speaker 4: the house. He is outside of the house. Because I
- 1:12:27Speaker 4: don't know. We just felt if we walked in with
- 1:12:30Speaker 4: the bodyguard, that just would have set a tone that
- 1:12:32Speaker 4: maybe didn't need to be set yet. But he was
- 1:12:33Speaker 4: literally outside the front door waiting on a text from
- 1:12:35Speaker 4: me or from noise. So you were 100% she didn't
- 1:12:37Speaker 4: have a gun with her? Not 100%. Okay. No, I wasn't.
- 1:12:42Speaker 4: Until dad said that she changed purses. They like went
- 1:12:45Speaker 4: to work out or something. You know how that is.
- 1:12:47Speaker 4: You grab something smaller, something bigger. So she changed her purse.
- 1:12:50Speaker 4: But also the purse was in the car. So even
- 1:12:54Speaker 4: if maybe, at least it's locked away in the car
- 1:12:56Speaker 4: and he had the keys. Okay. But he's just like
- 1:13:00Speaker 4: pretty out of it at this point. And we're like,
- 1:13:02Speaker 4: are you ready? And he's like, I'm ready. So we
- 1:13:04Speaker 4: go out there. And she is, you can just tell.
- 1:13:10Speaker 4: wheels are turning what what do they know and she's
- 1:13:13Speaker 4: trying to do like a little bit of small talk
- 1:13:14Speaker 4: my dad sits down and my husband who i always
- 1:13:17Speaker 4: joke is like a gentle giant i've known over 12
- 1:13:19Speaker 4: years never has been rude to a single person he
- 1:13:22Speaker 4: just says cut the bullshit kathy we know everything like
- 1:13:26Speaker 4: we're done you're done here well what are you talking
- 1:13:30Speaker 4: about i can explain we're like you don't even know
- 1:13:32Speaker 4: what you're explaining and my dad just goes is this
- 1:13:35Speaker 4: true And we, you know, bring it. She goes, I
- 1:13:39Speaker 4: will not be accused of something I haven't done. And
- 1:13:42Speaker 4: he goes, these aren't accusations. These are convictions in the
- 1:13:44Speaker 4: court of law.
- 1:13:45Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:13:46Speaker 4: Puts down the folder. She sees the folder. And she,
- 1:13:49Speaker 4: I can explain all of this. You know, she's flipping.
- 1:13:52Speaker 4: I can explain.
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: Okay, this.
- 1:13:54Speaker 4: And she's like grasping. And we're like, okay. And I
- 1:13:58Speaker 4: forget exactly what my husband says. But he says something
- 1:14:01Speaker 4: to piss her off. And this is the first time.
- 1:14:04Speaker 4: It's like her neck turned. And this voice comes out
- 1:14:07Speaker 4: where she literally says, I'm sorry, I'm going to cuss,
- 1:14:09Speaker 4: but she goes, shut the fuck up, you fat ass
- 1:14:12Speaker 4: in front of everybody. And we're like, what? Yeah. Just,
- 1:14:18Speaker 4: but like deep voice, angry eyes after with her little
- 1:14:22Speaker 4: sweet Southern bell, the moment like the exorcism or something,
- 1:14:25Speaker 4: literally we should have brought a priest, not a bodyguard.
- 1:14:27Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying? It was so bizarre. And
- 1:14:30Speaker 4: then that's when that was the beginning of, this sort
- 1:14:33Speaker 4: of strange in and out of that voice. And she
- 1:14:38Speaker 4: was going after me, telling me my dad didn't love me.
- 1:14:41Speaker 4: I was going to, she always said something about me
- 1:14:43Speaker 4: giving him a heart attack. She kept saying that over
- 1:14:44Speaker 4: and over and over. You're going to kill your dad.
- 1:14:46Speaker 4: His blood's going to be on your hands. And you're like,
- 1:14:48Speaker 4: what the, and my dad is sitting across the room,
- 1:14:52Speaker 4: just head in his hands completely. He is not with us.
- 1:14:56Speaker 4: Like you can tell he is just overloaded. And he's
- 1:14:59Speaker 4: has had some heart problems. 2020. 11-ish, like went into
- 1:15:04Speaker 4: cardiac arrest and all these things. So we do have
- 1:15:06Speaker 4: to be careful with him with stress. That was another
- 1:15:08Speaker 4: component that I had to think about. But I run
- 1:15:12Speaker 4: over to him and I'm like, dad, are you okay?
- 1:15:15Speaker 4: Are you okay? And he's just sheet white. And so
- 1:15:17Speaker 4: Sally runs to get the blood pressure cuff. We take
- 1:15:20Speaker 4: his blood pressure. It's like 206 and going up. And
- 1:15:23Speaker 4: so we're like, okay, do we need to call an
- 1:15:25Speaker 4: ambulance in the middle of this like intervention or whatever's happening?
- 1:15:28Speaker 4: And she's still going in on me at the same time.
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: No, so at this point, she's not like, honey, you
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: don't feel good?
- 1:15:34Speaker 4: She's not even focused on it. No, no, she's going, see,
- 1:15:37Speaker 4: you're gonna kill your dad. You're gonna, I mean, just like, oh,
- 1:15:39Speaker 4: and then she starts chanting to me, Jezebel? Calling me Jezebel? Jezebel,
- 1:15:44Speaker 4: you're Jezebel, Jezebel. And I'm like, oh my God. Like,
- 1:15:47Speaker 4: all of us, Crystal's laughing at one point.
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: Wait, what is the story of Jezebel?
- 1:15:51Speaker 4: Jezebel, it's like a biblical story where, I believe, wasn't
- 1:15:55Speaker 4: she the one that, like, killed the king, made the
- 1:15:59Speaker 4: king fall in love with her and killed the king? Yeah.
- 1:16:01Speaker 4: I feel like it was like something sort of sexy.
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: She was evil.
- 1:16:05Speaker 4: Yes. It was like enticing, like an enticing evil thing
- 1:16:08Speaker 4: with bad plans. So the fact that she was calling
- 1:16:11Speaker 4: me Jezebel was really interesting. And so I'm just looking
- 1:16:15Speaker 4: at her. I'm like, okay. And my sister's on her
- 1:16:18Speaker 4: way at this point. She was flying in from San
- 1:16:20Speaker 4: Diego where she lives. And so... Dad is like, I
- 1:16:25Speaker 4: have my nitro pills with me that I'm going to
- 1:16:27Speaker 4: take and don't call the ambulance, please. I just want
- 1:16:30Speaker 4: to go lay down.
- 1:16:31Speaker 5: We're like, OK, so.
- 1:16:32Speaker 4: We take him back. We all stop for a minute
- 1:16:34Speaker 4: because I mean, at this point, I mean, it's very combative.
- 1:16:37Speaker 4: I mean, I'm like, oh, my God. So he lays down.
- 1:16:41Speaker 4: His blood pressure starts coming down. And then just all this,
- 1:16:45Speaker 4: you know, fighting keeps going on. And my sister gets
- 1:16:48Speaker 4: there and walks into the house is like, where is she? And,
- 1:16:53Speaker 4: you know, she's looking right at Kathy and Kathy goes
- 1:16:56Speaker 4: in on me again. And Christine hadn't seen it yet.
- 1:16:59Speaker 4: And she goes, Kathy, you've got a lot of nerve.
- 1:17:01Speaker 4: It looks like you just got out of a frying
- 1:17:03Speaker 4: pan with bacon grease. Okay. Like, and that was the
- 1:17:06Speaker 4: only comment out of the, I was like, where did
- 1:17:08Speaker 4: that come from? She's like, I don't know. It was
- 1:17:09Speaker 4: like the first thing that came to my mind. I'm like, okay.
- 1:17:12Speaker 4: That was the only thing that shut her up the
- 1:17:13Speaker 4: whole time. And so we all got back into the room,
- 1:17:16Speaker 4: except for Kathy. Kathy is in the kitchen alone. I
- 1:17:20Speaker 4: come out of the room. like you gotta go like
- 1:17:23Speaker 4: i don't know what you need to figure out but
- 1:17:24Speaker 4: you've got to go and she is going through the
- 1:17:27Speaker 4: kitchen drawers one by one sort of like rattling through
- 1:17:30Speaker 4: like clanking around and i realized she's looking for a
- 1:17:33Speaker 4: knife like it was very clear she looks at me
- 1:17:36Speaker 4: with like the most and of course immediately i'm yelling
- 1:17:39Speaker 4: for everybody and yelling for bob the bodyguard who comes
- 1:17:43Speaker 4: you know comes in and i'm like this is what
- 1:17:45Speaker 4: she was doing she was i wasn't looking i was
- 1:17:46Speaker 4: looking for the trash or she makes up something like
- 1:17:49Speaker 4: so obviously not true. I think she was probably trying
- 1:17:52Speaker 4: to intimidate me or whatever. And then, yeah, it all
- 1:17:57Speaker 4: sort of eventually wraps up with her throwing the papers
- 1:18:02Speaker 4: in my face one by one. This was one of
- 1:18:04Speaker 4: my favorite comments of the whole intervention was, you cheese gal,
- 1:18:08Speaker 4: you cheese fucking gal, throwing the paper. And I was like,
- 1:18:11Speaker 4: what is going on right now?
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: Um, yeah.
- 1:18:16Speaker 2: So obviously she was, she had done enough research on,
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: you know, that you had this.
- 1:18:20Speaker 4: Yeah. And I'm sure through my dad too, you know, but, um, yeah,
- 1:18:26Speaker 4: it just, it was pretty gnarly. And she's saying things
- 1:18:29Speaker 4: to me still, like, you're going to kill your dad.
- 1:18:30Speaker 4: She brings up the heart attack thing a lot, which
- 1:18:32Speaker 4: is interesting.
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: So now what do you do that night? Like, where
- 1:18:35Speaker 2: does she spend the night? Do you, what, what happens now?
- 1:18:38Speaker 4: She disappears. Totally disappeared. She leaves the house. Leaves the house.
- 1:18:42Speaker 4: On foot. On foot. We go outside because it's a
- 1:18:45Speaker 4: long sidewalk on both sides.
- 1:18:47Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:18:47Speaker 4: See anywhere she went. Of course, then everyone's freaking out.
- 1:18:51Speaker 4: Is she hiding in the house? Is she at my
- 1:18:53Speaker 4: dad's house? And I'm going right into defense mode. Dad,
- 1:18:57Speaker 4: does she have passwords? Is she on your bank accounts?
- 1:18:59Speaker 4: Is she on any credit cards? Is she? Cause I
- 1:19:01Speaker 4: had strangely run into a few people a few weeks
- 1:19:04Speaker 4: leading up to this, whose parent had been conned. Like
- 1:19:06Speaker 4: one of the, one of the, uh, girls that I
- 1:19:08Speaker 4: randomly met, her dad's girlfriend burned all their family photos
- 1:19:12Speaker 4: when they broke up. So my mind is going there
- 1:19:14Speaker 4: to like, Oh my God. I'm like, dad, does she
- 1:19:17Speaker 4: have a key? And he's like, of course she has
- 1:19:18Speaker 4: a key, you know? And so, uh, We get to
- 1:19:22Speaker 4: the house. My dad's doing better. He's still out of it.
- 1:19:25Speaker 4: He said he was like, I blacked out. But her
- 1:19:27Speaker 4: purse is still in the car locked, right? At this point.
- 1:19:30Speaker 4: Or did you give her your purse? No, she got
- 1:19:32Speaker 4: her purse before she left. But we did have the
- 1:19:34Speaker 4: guys go through her purse first. Yeah. And so she
- 1:19:39Speaker 4: had her purse and it was not in there.
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: And no gun was in there.
- 1:19:42Speaker 4: No gun. Okay. So what happens that night? So we
- 1:19:46Speaker 4: have the bodyguard come back to the house, clear the house.
- 1:19:49Speaker 4: Cause we're like, I got to make sure she's not
- 1:19:51Speaker 4: here hiding the bushes or something. And we take everything valuable,
- 1:19:54Speaker 4: put it in my dad's safe, take some of it
- 1:19:56Speaker 4: with us. And we all go spend the night at
- 1:19:58Speaker 4: my in-laws house. And we're all just like recovering and going,
- 1:20:02Speaker 4: including your dad, including my dad. He is so shaken up,
- 1:20:06Speaker 4: bless him. And so we're just kind of like talking
- 1:20:09Speaker 4: about everything, trying to decompress. And then we all go
- 1:20:12Speaker 4: to bed. And then the next morning, The guys wake
- 1:20:16Speaker 4: up really early, go get ring cameras, install those. All
- 1:20:19Speaker 4: the while, my sister and I start packing up for things. Now,
- 1:20:24Speaker 4: my dad had talked to her son-in-law, which this is
- 1:20:28Speaker 4: an interesting part. Like he was like decently close to
- 1:20:31Speaker 4: the son-in-law. Why they didn't warn my dad or say
- 1:20:36Speaker 4: anything like that's the part.
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: So she has a daughter that she's in touch with.
- 1:20:40Speaker 5: Yes.
- 1:20:41Speaker 4: Apparently it's an on and off relationship. from what I understand.
- 1:20:46Speaker 4: But yeah, my dad was like decently close with the son-in-law.
- 1:20:49Speaker 4: And so he, they were communicating. He was like the messenger.
- 1:20:52Speaker 4: He was like, she wants her stuff. And my dad's like, gladly,
- 1:20:55Speaker 4: but no one's coming in the house. We'll have it
- 1:20:57Speaker 4: outside on the curb at this time or whatever. So
- 1:21:00Speaker 4: my sister and I are bagging up her things, think
- 1:21:03Speaker 4: that we're done packing things up. And he goes, well, no,
- 1:21:07Speaker 4: there's still all her research in the guest room. I'm like, research?
- 1:21:12Speaker 4: Is she in school? Like, what do you mean? He said, well,
- 1:21:16Speaker 4: what she likes to do with her spare time is
- 1:21:17Speaker 4: she researches these various subjects. All sorts of things. It's
- 1:21:21Speaker 4: like her thing. And I'm like, okay. Heather, there's no
- 1:21:26Speaker 4: way to adequately describe this. You walk in the guest
- 1:21:30Speaker 4: room and the entire floor is covered. Dressers, chairs, there's
- 1:21:35Speaker 4: these tote bags everywhere. Like those grocery tote bags. And
- 1:21:39Speaker 4: you're like, what the hell is this? Open one up.
- 1:21:43Speaker 4: There's all these three ring binders about this thick subjects
- 1:21:46Speaker 4: varying from, Oh God, we saw like world wars to
- 1:21:49Speaker 4: biblical theology, theology to Judaism, to presidents, to all these
- 1:21:55Speaker 4: different things. And you open it up and it's all handwritten.
- 1:21:58Speaker 4: Number one. And number two, it's she's writing like in
- 1:22:01Speaker 4: third person on this day, Kathy discovered the truth of
- 1:22:04Speaker 4: the world. And then you can't track what she's saying
- 1:22:07Speaker 4: beyond that. I have a, video of discovering the binders
- 1:22:12Speaker 4: and it's like, just shows.
- 1:22:13Speaker 2: Yeah. I saw that room.
- 1:22:15Speaker 4: Yeah. Crazy.
- 1:22:16Speaker 2: That makes me think of very like a beautiful mind psychot.
- 1:22:19Speaker 2: Like totally like she's definitely unwell.
- 1:22:22Speaker 4: Yes. And yeah.
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: As you know, A schizophrenia or a psychotic break or something.
- 1:22:30Speaker 2: And that, you know, or was going through an episode
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: and got out of the episode, but, you know, would write,
- 1:22:36Speaker 2: wake up in the middle of the night and write
- 1:22:37Speaker 2: for 20 hours or something.
- 1:22:39Speaker 4: Yeah. So we find those and we're like, dad, he goes, oh,
- 1:22:44Speaker 4: there's more in my storage. And I'm like, oh my God.
- 1:22:47Speaker 4: I mean, a truckload full.
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: And did she bring those to his house or she accomplished? Oh,
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: so she brings those everywhere she goes and then adds
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: to them? Well, you know what?
- 1:22:56Speaker 4: I think she just adds to them. Yeah. Cause if
- 1:22:58Speaker 4: you think about it, they had been together for six
- 1:23:00Speaker 4: months and he said she did that every day, every day.
- 1:23:03Speaker 4: That's what she, she didn't work. And that's, that's what
- 1:23:04Speaker 4: she did was research. And he never really asked where
- 1:23:09Speaker 4: this research is going. I mean, yeah, no, we boxed
- 1:23:13Speaker 4: it all up. I should have taken a photo of
- 1:23:15Speaker 4: the inside of it, but I didn't.
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:23:16Speaker 4: So you put all the stuff out on the curb.
- 1:23:18Speaker 4: He comes to get it. The son-in-law. Yeah. And at
- 1:23:21Speaker 4: this point I'm kind of starting to worry about like,
- 1:23:24Speaker 4: my safety because I'm like, OK, I was the ringleader
- 1:23:26Speaker 4: for sure.
- 1:23:27Speaker 2: Right. Right.
- 1:23:29Speaker 4: But she stays away. She stays away. Dad doesn't hear
- 1:23:33Speaker 4: anything for a couple of months.
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: Now, is there anything with your dad in that? You know,
- 1:23:39Speaker 2: he's like, wow, I can't believe I trusted this woman
- 1:23:42Speaker 2: or I really miss her. What what was definitely I.
- 1:23:45Speaker 4: Mean, he was I think he felt more embarrassed than anything.
- 1:23:49Speaker 4: You know, how could I be so he in his words,
- 1:23:52Speaker 4: how could I be so stupid? And I said to
- 1:23:54Speaker 4: him what I just said to you earlier, just like, Dad,
- 1:23:56Speaker 4: you were in a vulnerable place. Like, this is not
- 1:23:58Speaker 4: on you. This is on her. I think we have
- 1:24:00Speaker 4: some key learnings here, though. You know, you see these
- 1:24:02Speaker 4: types of red flags.
- 1:24:03Speaker 2: The thing with Dirty Johns and now Dirty Janes, it's
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: like people are always so hard on themselves, and especially
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: when they're not 18. But at the same time, it's like,
- 1:24:16Speaker 2: why should you be mad at yourself? that you met someone.
- 1:24:20Speaker 4: That thought you were fabulous.
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:24:23Speaker 4: Like that's what it should be. You felt loved.
- 1:24:25Speaker 2: Yeah, like they loved everything.
- 1:24:27Speaker 4: You had so much fun. It was so easy.
- 1:24:30Speaker 2: They ate what you ate.
- 1:24:31Speaker 4: They wanted to go bass fishing.
- 1:24:32Speaker 2: Like why should you be suspicious of that?
- 1:24:36Speaker 4: Exactly. And that's what's sad about it. That's so true.
- 1:24:40Speaker 4: That really is such a good point. Yeah, so that's
- 1:24:42Speaker 4: where his headspace was. He was devastated, brokenhearted. But then
- 1:24:46Speaker 4: a few months goes by, and he finally hears from
- 1:24:49Speaker 4: her via a 10-page letter, handwritten, of course. It's the
- 1:24:53Speaker 4: Unheadstand brand. And he said he stopped reading at page four.
- 1:24:57Speaker 4: It basically was her trying to talk her way out
- 1:24:59Speaker 4: of everything. And he hasn't heard from her since, he
- 1:25:04Speaker 4: tells me. But he did just recently get a Facebook
- 1:25:07Speaker 4: message from one of her ex-husbands. And the opening part
- 1:25:13Speaker 4: of the line was... Hey, Greg, glad to see you
- 1:25:16Speaker 4: survive the Black Widow. That's what he referred to her as.
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: And since you have shared this story on your social
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: media platforms, have you heard anything from her or anybody else?
- 1:25:28Speaker 4: No, I have not.
- 1:25:30Speaker 2: And have you bothered, do you even care to try
- 1:25:33Speaker 2: to find out where she is or where she went?
- 1:25:35Speaker 4: Oh, I've definitely tried to keep tabs. I don't think
- 1:25:38Speaker 4: she is operating by the name that she was when
- 1:25:42Speaker 4: she was with my dad. Because we still have a
- 1:25:44Speaker 4: couple of friends that are friends with her on Facebook.
- 1:25:46Speaker 4: And she has been inactive on that exact Facebook since
- 1:25:49Speaker 4: the week that this all went down. Of course. So
- 1:25:51Speaker 4: I think something is... So it appears... Oh, something that
- 1:25:56Speaker 4: I didn't mention that was interesting. And again, this part
- 1:25:59Speaker 4: is definitely just my opinion on things. But after the
- 1:26:03Speaker 4: intervention takes place, we all kind of like powwow the
- 1:26:06Speaker 4: next morning and kind of talk about everything. I mean,
- 1:26:08Speaker 4: because there was a definite moment where you're like, she is...
- 1:26:11Speaker 4: coming unglued especially when I would kind of say like
- 1:26:14Speaker 4: I see you I see what you're doing I mean
- 1:26:16Speaker 4: yeah manic almost and Sally said you know what was
- 1:26:19Speaker 4: interesting Courtney she said to you a lot you're gonna
- 1:26:22Speaker 4: give your dad a heart attack she said for a
- 1:26:24Speaker 4: few months when we've been alone having our girl time
- 1:26:27Speaker 4: she has said to me she was afraid that your
- 1:26:29Speaker 4: dad was gonna have another heart attack so when my
- 1:26:32Speaker 4: dad gets gets back from installing the ring lights I
- 1:26:35Speaker 4: asked him have you had any heart stuff recently clearly
- 1:26:37Speaker 4: the night of all that stress like that caused it
- 1:26:40Speaker 4: he goes no I've been fine So, I mean, again,
- 1:26:44Speaker 4: my opinion, but I just, I wonder if something more
- 1:26:48Speaker 4: serious was going to happen.
- 1:26:50Speaker 2: Like her messing with his medication or finding medication or something.
- 1:26:55Speaker 4: She was pushing him to get married.
- 1:26:56Speaker 2: Right. Well, once she got married, then she'd have everything.
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: Because like a dirty job, like she's going from one
- 1:27:02Speaker 2: person to the next, one scam to the next.
- 1:27:04Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:27:05Speaker 2: And, you know, she's just a psychotic liar.
- 1:27:08Speaker 4: She's just, you know. And the fact that my husband
- 1:27:11Speaker 4: called her a black widow is like, oh, my God.
- 1:27:14Speaker 2: So now did you– I'm guessing that you must have heard,
- 1:27:19Speaker 2: once you shared this story, from women in the area
- 1:27:24Speaker 2: that he lives that is like, I'd love.
- 1:27:26Speaker 4: To date your dad. Girl– daughters were sending me their
- 1:27:30Speaker 4: mother's resumes.
- 1:27:31Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:27:31Speaker 4: Especially when I showed a photo, when I showed a
- 1:27:33Speaker 4: photo of my dad, my dad's a really good looking
- 1:27:35Speaker 4: guy for 66.
- 1:27:36Speaker 2: I mean, you know, he looks great.
- 1:27:39Speaker 4: And everyone's like, Oh my people are saying he's adult.
- 1:27:41Speaker 4: Some girls my age were like, listen, I know that
- 1:27:43Speaker 4: would be weird. I'm like, absolutely not. He is now
- 1:27:46Speaker 4: dating and happy and has a great girlfriend. I've done
- 1:27:49Speaker 4: a background check. Um, she's not a criminal, so we're
- 1:27:52Speaker 4: good there. But, um, I, I honestly shared this story.
- 1:27:57Speaker 4: I know it's entertaining and it's like crazy and all
- 1:27:59Speaker 4: these things, but like, I just kept running into all
- 1:28:01Speaker 4: these people who had similar stories. Cause I sat on
- 1:28:03Speaker 4: it for a year for a full 12 months before
- 1:28:06Speaker 4: I shared it. I shared it the, the, uh, the
- 1:28:08Speaker 4: week of the anniversary of all this going down, um,
- 1:28:12Speaker 4: on TikTok first.
- 1:28:13Speaker 2: And obviously this is a great story. Is there anything
- 1:28:18Speaker 2: that you, I feel like right from the start you
- 1:28:21Speaker 2: were on it, but looking back, is there anything that
- 1:28:24Speaker 2: you wish that you would have done differently in Because
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: I don't really know that you could have, to be honest.
- 1:28:31Speaker 4: I think you really kind of played it right. Yeah.
- 1:28:34Speaker 4: I don't think I could have. I've had a lot
- 1:28:35Speaker 4: of people say, oh, if that were my dad, I
- 1:28:38Speaker 4: would have been on a plane or the next.
- 1:28:40Speaker 2: Second.
- 1:28:40Speaker 4: And I'm like, yeah, but you don't, you also have
- 1:28:42Speaker 4: to understand kind of My relationship with my dad was
- 1:28:45Speaker 4: also so strained. It's not like you can just waltz
- 1:28:47Speaker 4: into somebody's house who's brainwashed and say, hey, by the way,
- 1:28:51Speaker 4: she's crazy. They're not going to believe you without the
- 1:28:53Speaker 4: actual evidence. That's why I knew I had to wait.
- 1:28:57Speaker 2: I don't think even when you meet somebody, whether you're
- 1:28:59Speaker 2: dating them or it's your friends, or even when you
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: meet somebody new, even when I have like that gut feeling,
- 1:29:06Speaker 2: there's still a natural part of me that's like, No,
- 1:29:10Speaker 2: I know they seem cheesy or weird or douchey, but no,
- 1:29:14Speaker 2: they're actually like a really nice guy. But you kind
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: of know, but you always knew that their job really
- 1:29:20Speaker 2: didn't make sense or whatever. But you're just being social
- 1:29:23Speaker 2: and you're like, I don't want to be the, you know,
- 1:29:26Speaker 2: I want to be that person that's like nice at
- 1:29:28Speaker 2: the party. So I'm just going to roll, even though
- 1:29:30Speaker 2: I know that this person is off. And so I
- 1:29:32Speaker 2: think in your situation, that was that same thing. Like,
- 1:29:36Speaker 2: I don't have a good feeling, but.
- 1:29:39Speaker 2: You know, I'm going to hope for the best because
- 1:29:41Speaker 2: I don't have anything.
- 1:29:42Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:29:42Speaker 2: I don't have the mugshot DM. I don't have the
- 1:29:47Speaker 2: stay away from black widow. You just kind of had
- 1:29:50Speaker 2: a vibe, but no, I think your story is really
- 1:29:53Speaker 2: great because so many of us, so many people are
- 1:29:56Speaker 2: in that position to have active senior parents that are
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: either widowed.
- 1:30:01Speaker 4: Or dating who are meeting new people.
- 1:30:05Speaker 2: And just like, and the elderly are, you know, are, you.
- 1:30:11Speaker 4: Know, are, are an easier target.
- 1:30:13Speaker 2: You know, that's why Jen Shaw went for them. They
- 1:30:15Speaker 2: really are because they grew up in an era where you,
- 1:30:19Speaker 2: you believe what people say, you're not an internet sleuth,
- 1:30:23Speaker 2: you know, you, I mean, I just had someone send
- 1:30:26Speaker 2: me something posted or someone posted it who said, my
- 1:30:30Speaker 2: dad said he's that he's dating this girl. And it
- 1:30:35Speaker 2: was a screen grab of his conversation with the girl
- 1:30:38Speaker 2: sending a photo of herself.
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: Oh, no.
- 1:30:40Speaker 4: And the photo was brunette Lady Gaga from Star is Born.
- 1:30:45Speaker 2: Oh, my God. But he doesn't know that because he
- 1:30:47Speaker 2: didn't go to the– he never.
- 1:30:48Speaker 4: Saw a Star is Born movie. He needs us. So, right.
- 1:30:51Speaker 2: So, I think– I mean, I think this is really important.
- 1:30:54Speaker 2: And I almost feel like if you're– providing nothing has
- 1:30:58Speaker 2: happened– you know, maybe play this with your parents when
- 1:31:03Speaker 2: you're visiting them or tell them the story or kind
- 1:31:07Speaker 2: of like educate them on this or just say, Hey,
- 1:31:10Speaker 2: let us be a guide.
- 1:31:11Speaker 4: We're not out for you not to fall in love.
- 1:31:13Speaker 2: Let us be a guide because you know, this, this happens.
- 1:31:16Speaker 4: So much and it's happens all the time. Yeah. And
- 1:31:20Speaker 4: that's been really wild just to see the response of
- 1:31:23Speaker 4: people then feeling like they can share their stories with
- 1:31:26Speaker 4: me and they are heartbreaking. Most of them, Oh, they
- 1:31:29Speaker 4: don't have happy endings. In fact, someone ends up, you know,
- 1:31:33Speaker 4: not alive anymore or their entire life savings gone, retirement gone.
- 1:31:37Speaker 4: Just these stories have been so heartbreaking. And so that's
- 1:31:40Speaker 4: why I decided to share it to my Instagram. Yeah.
- 1:31:43Speaker 4: After I did TikTok, I guess I just with TikTok,
- 1:31:45Speaker 4: I felt less vulnerable. Yeah. What I was doing on
- 1:31:48Speaker 4: there and Instagram is a whole different story. But yeah,
- 1:31:52Speaker 4: I just wanted to raise awareness. This type of thing
- 1:31:54Speaker 4: happens every single day, unfortunately. And it's like, to your point,
- 1:31:58Speaker 4: we've just got to look after our parents who are
- 1:32:00Speaker 4: maybe new to the dating world, haven't dated since they
- 1:32:03Speaker 4: were in their 20s when the internet wasn't even around.
- 1:32:06Speaker 4: So it's like a different game.
- 1:32:07Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:32:08Speaker 2: And tell everybody where they can follow you because you
- 1:32:11Speaker 2: really do put out great content.
- 1:32:13Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 1:32:14Speaker 2: And so everyone should follow you anyway because you do
- 1:32:17Speaker 2: great recipes. You're funny and enticing. So tell everybody about it.
- 1:32:21Speaker 4: Thank you. Okay. So I am cheese gal on Instagram.
- 1:32:24Speaker 2: Cheese gal.
- 1:32:26Speaker 4: Cheese gal. Yeah. I need that as one of those
- 1:32:29Speaker 4: like sounds, a sound bite.
- 1:32:31Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:32:31Speaker 2: That's what I need to do.
- 1:32:33Speaker 4: So I'm CheeseGal on Instagram. I am CheeseCHZGal on TikTok.
- 1:32:37Speaker 4: And I am launching a YouTube, hopefully later this week,
- 1:32:41Speaker 4: early next week, a new channel where I do like
- 1:32:43Speaker 4: longer format recipes and fun and, you know.
- 1:32:47Speaker 2: So, yeah, you do a lot of recipes, but you
- 1:32:49Speaker 2: kind of got started with doing these charcuterie boards and
- 1:32:54Speaker 2: ways to do it and everything. But I saw you
- 1:32:56Speaker 2: just did like a cocktail the other night. So it's
- 1:32:58Speaker 2: a little of everything and really great job.
- 1:33:01Speaker 4: Thank you. Thank you for having me. Oh, yes. Thank you.
- 1:33:05Speaker 4: Thank you for coming on.
- 1:33:06Speaker 2: Bye.
- 1:33:08Speaker 6: Christmas shopping has already started in our house. My daughter
- 1:33:12Speaker 6: is so organised, already planning Christmas gifts from Macaulay. Hair

- 1:33:18Speaker 6: But the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I'm
- 1:33:21Speaker 6: an early bird, buying one present a week from now
- 1:33:23Speaker 6: till Christmas, which makes budgeting less stressful. I can buy
