A man has been arrested for shooting into a home in East Limestone, thankfully without injuring anyone inside. Authorities swiftly tracked down the suspect, Juan Diego Sanchez Mendez, 33, using surveillance and vehicle leads, recovering a firearm believed to be used in the attack. Mendez, picked up in Birmingham, now faces charges for shooting into an occupied dwelling and is jailed pending bond. Sheriff’s team praised for rapid response and successful investigation.
