- 0:00Speaker 1: Mark Simone.
- 0:04Speaker 2: R Hey, it's Friday. Not a bad day today. Little
- 0:11Speaker 2: rain this afternoon, but otherwise pretty good day. Tomorrow a
- 0:15Speaker 2: rainy mess. Sunday's Mother's Day should be a beautiful sunny day.
- 0:20Speaker 2: So we'll get to Don Rickles coming up later this hour.
- 0:24Speaker 2: It's this hundredth birthday. We'll get to Bruce Blakeman. He'll
- 0:27Speaker 2: be with us.
- 0:27Speaker 3: Got a lot of interesting things to talk to him about.
- 0:32Speaker 3: Crazy Kathy Hochel. She's starting to really fear Bruce Blakeman.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Bruce Blakeman was twenty points behind in the polls, but
- 0:41Speaker 3: he's always twenty points behind the poles whenever he starts
- 0:43Speaker 3: a race, and then he ends up winning and winning big.
- 0:46Speaker 3: So now he's about eight points behind. He's moving up,
- 0:49Speaker 3: and every time he's run this is the pattern and
- 0:52Speaker 3: he ends up winning. So she's getting terrified of him.
- 0:55Speaker 3: So she's going to the left, hoping to get the
- 0:57Speaker 3: mom Donnie crowd to help help her win. That Mam
- 1:00Speaker 3: Donnie crowd hates ice and they don't like enforcing our
- 1:05Speaker 3: border laws or enforcing our immigration laws. They want just
- 1:09Speaker 3: chaos on immigration, open borders. Everybody comes in. So Hocho
- 1:14Speaker 3: is continuing with her, just like Mam Donnie. She's going
- 1:17Speaker 3: to go along with him. We're going to ban Ice.
- 1:19Speaker 3: We're gonna fight Ice. We're going to do this Dice.
- 1:21Speaker 3: And Tom Holman, good for him. He's letting her know
- 1:25Speaker 3: he's going to do what he has to do no
- 1:27Speaker 3: matter what she does. And she says he's threatening her.
- 1:30Speaker 1: What Tom Holman has told me, he said the era
- 1:33Speaker 1: of the surges is over. Backtrack on. That is a
- 1:36Speaker 1: threat to me. Trying to threaten the governor of the
- 1:38Speaker 1: State of New York. And I don't take well to threats.
- 1:44Speaker 1: I'm going to find that out.
- 1:46Speaker 3: He's threatening to enforce the law. What a terrible guy.
- 1:49Speaker 3: He's threatening to enforce the law. How dare him?
- 1:51Speaker 1: All I'll say to mister Holman, is that Donald Trump
- 1:54Speaker 1: himself said he would not send a surge of ICE
- 1:56Speaker 1: agents to the State of New York unless I ask.
- 2:00Speaker 1: I'm not asking.
- 2:01Speaker 3: Yeah, but we'd like the law enforced. Again. Democrats never
- 2:05Speaker 3: follow the science. They don't believe in science. You can
- 2:07Speaker 3: study the science of all of this scientifically. We've run
- 2:11Speaker 3: the experiments a million times. If you have open borders,
- 2:14Speaker 3: you get total chaos. It drains you know, she's always
- 2:17Speaker 3: complaining about the budget. That's one reason we got this
- 2:19Speaker 3: budget problem. We got all these all these illegals all
- 2:23Speaker 3: over New York draining our budgets, costing us a fortune.
- 2:27Speaker 3: It raises crime, it does all that stuff. If you
- 2:29Speaker 3: close the border and force the border law, deport the criminals,
- 2:32Speaker 3: you get less crime and you get a much better budget.
- 2:36Speaker 3: We've run this scientific experiment thousands of times, but again
- 2:40Speaker 3: Democrats don't follow the science. Holman is not worried about Hok.
- 2:44Speaker 4: Well, Governor Hoke, I'm not asking either.
- 2:48Speaker 3: I said it.
- 2:48Speaker 4: We're going to do it. No, she wants to sign legislation.
- 2:52Speaker 4: She supports us legislation. It's going to lock us out
- 2:55Speaker 4: of jails. It's going to end two eighty seven g agreements,
- 2:58Speaker 4: and it's going to prevent us from the resting of
- 3:00Speaker 4: criminal ailen the safety and security of a jail. We
- 3:03Speaker 4: have partnerships in New York, you know, throughout the state,
- 3:06Speaker 4: not everywhere, but she wants to end the partnerships we
- 3:09Speaker 4: currently have, which means now we got to send a
- 3:11Speaker 4: whole team to look for a criminal that we could
- 3:13Speaker 4: arrest in the safety and security of a jail, which
- 3:15Speaker 4: is safer for the officers, safer for the alien, certainly
- 3:17Speaker 4: safe for the community.
- 3:18Speaker 3: Yeah. Again, follow the science. Democrats don't believe in science.
- 3:22Speaker 3: Bruce Blakeman followed the science. He cooperates with ICE, He
- 3:25Speaker 3: lends them whatever they need, help with local police, use
- 3:29Speaker 3: some of their jails. What was the result, Safest county
- 3:33Speaker 3: in America? Follow the science. Homan knows exactly what he's
- 3:37Speaker 3: doing here.
- 3:38Speaker 4: Since we lost the efficiencies of the jails that you
- 3:41Speaker 4: want to lock us out of. Now we got to
- 3:42Speaker 4: send whole team out there to find this person. So
- 3:45Speaker 4: of course we're going to increase manpower a lot. And
- 3:48Speaker 4: not only that, she says she wants to protective migrant communities. Really,
- 3:52Speaker 4: because now we arrest in illego ailien, we can't run
- 3:56Speaker 4: a bed from any of the sheriffs in New York State.
- 3:58Speaker 3: So what were we gonna do.
- 3:58Speaker 4: We're gonna arrest the illego ailing. We're going up flinging
- 4:01Speaker 4: the Texas errors only to one of her Texas facilities
- 4:03Speaker 4: there away from her families, wape their attorneys. This is
- 4:06Speaker 4: what we have to do because she forces in this position,
- 4:09Speaker 4: and we're going to do it. They're not going to
- 4:11Speaker 4: stop us.
- 4:12Speaker 3: Yeah, Hey, remember one thing, federal law supersedes local law.
- 4:17Speaker 3: Homan actually has the authority come in and do this stuff.
- 4:19Speaker 3: Federal law always supersedes local law. Now it's going to
- 4:25Speaker 3: be a mess, and Hokle might kind of like that.
- 4:28Speaker 3: She might kind of like home and doing all this
- 4:30Speaker 3: stuff because it upsets the crazy left wing Democrats and
- 4:34Speaker 3: she's looking at them to save her in this upcoming
- 4:38Speaker 3: race where she's gonna lose to Bruce Blakeman. But that's
- 4:41Speaker 3: her only hope getting this mom Donnie crowd to come
- 4:44Speaker 3: over and vote for her. Hey, the actor Mark Hamill,
- 4:49Speaker 3: you know, he's a Hollywood left wing guy. They're filled
- 4:51Speaker 3: with hate and anger and rage. They yell and scream
- 4:54Speaker 3: about Trump. But people never realized how low I cue
- 4:57Speaker 3: the guy he is, or how bad is Jeffudgment is
- 5:00Speaker 3: till yesterday he put all kinds of flak. Yesterday it
- 5:05Speaker 3: went viral. He put up a picture of Donald Trump
- 5:08Speaker 3: in a grave, in the grave, in the graveyard, he's
- 5:10Speaker 3: in the grave, and it says, if only this is
- 5:14Speaker 3: right after an assassination attempt. So you know, they're all
- 5:18Speaker 3: crazy left wing, very angry, hate filled Hollywood liberals. But
- 5:23Speaker 3: sometimes you don't realize how low their IQ is for
- 5:26Speaker 3: a guy like that. And I say, you know, it
- 5:28Speaker 3: was just an assassination attempt. And maybe I won't post this.
- 5:31Speaker 3: They don't have that kind of judgment. They're just not
- 5:34Speaker 3: that bright. It's just it still shocks people. But you know,
- 5:39Speaker 3: you watch them on the screen. But it looked great. Well,
- 5:41Speaker 3: it look great, they sound great, they're brilliant. Then you
- 5:43Speaker 3: find out in real life IQ like maybe maybe maybe
- 5:47Speaker 3: eighty five, maybe ninety. So, hey, if you are worried
- 5:51Speaker 3: about eating eggs, people love eggs, omelets, fried eggs, scrambled eggs,
- 5:57Speaker 3: hard boiled eggs. But you've said a cut down on
- 6:00Speaker 3: these eggs, you know, cholesterol, heart all that. You know
- 6:03Speaker 3: what a lot of people think. It's not so bad
- 6:05Speaker 3: cholesterol with and brand new study shows if you're eating
- 6:09Speaker 3: eggs regularly, seventeen percent lower risk of dementia. Seventeen percent
- 6:15Speaker 3: lower risk of dementia. Eating eggs is not a bad
- 6:18Speaker 3: thing necessarily. Hey, Marco Rubio met with the pope. He
- 6:23Speaker 3: had to bring him a gift. What would you bring
- 6:24Speaker 3: the pope as a gift a Trump hat? No, I
- 6:28Speaker 3: don't think so. He brought a crystal football. During his
- 6:32Speaker 3: Vatican visit. He said, I know you're a baseball guy,
- 6:35Speaker 3: but here's a So why do he give me a
- 6:37Speaker 3: crystal football? I don't know, but it was the highly
- 6:40Speaker 3: anticipated Vatican visit. Rubio spent approximately two hours at the
- 6:45Speaker 3: Vatican speaking with Pope Leo, also the Vatican Secretary of State,
- 6:50Speaker 3: and the Archbishop Gallagher. Meeting took place in the Pope's
- 6:54Speaker 3: private library. You know, this pope speaks English, so a
- 6:58Speaker 3: lot of people say it's kind of eerie. You know,
- 7:00Speaker 3: usually when you talk to the Pope, he doesn't speak English.
- 7:03Speaker 3: It's kind of strange to speak to the Pope in
- 7:05Speaker 3: English and he responds in English. They're not used to it.
- 7:09Speaker 3: Let me just check here. Gas prices should be down,
- 7:13Speaker 3: stock market is way up. The job's numbers were double
- 7:18Speaker 3: what was projected, double what was projected. Oil up half
- 7:23Speaker 3: a half a dollar ninety five dollars a gown, still
- 7:26Speaker 3: down from where it was a week ago. So that's
- 7:29Speaker 3: pretty good. Iran. They'll never really be a deal, never
- 7:34Speaker 3: really be a deal. It's just some point they'll just
- 7:38Speaker 3: hang on forever. It's a lot like North Korea. They
- 7:43Speaker 3: have a good negotiating position because they don't care what
- 7:45Speaker 3: the hell happens to the country. It's just the leaders
- 7:49Speaker 3: want to take care of themselves, and you can destroy
- 7:52Speaker 3: their economy, you can shut it down. They don't care.
- 7:54Speaker 3: They'll starve their people to death, they'll kill all their people.
- 7:57Speaker 3: They don't care as long as they hold on on.
- 8:01Speaker 3: That was what happened in North Korea. That's what will
- 8:03Speaker 3: happen here. Gas prices once this is over in some form,
- 8:08Speaker 3: gas prices will just plunge instantly. Now let me point
- 8:11Speaker 3: out when it comes to gas prices. You know, if
- 8:14Speaker 3: you watch the fake news, all you hear about is
- 8:16Speaker 3: Trump is finished in the midterms because of the gas prices.
- 8:19Speaker 3: It was the official position of the Biden administration. I
- 8:26Speaker 3: mean official. They didn't just say it. Energy Secretary Jennifer
- 8:29Speaker 3: Granholm you can see the video, it's up on my Twitter,
- 8:33Speaker 3: came out in a formal press conference and announced, quote,
- 8:37Speaker 3: the president does not control the price of gasoline. Remember,
- 8:41Speaker 3: at that time, gasoline was more expensive than it is now.
- 8:45Speaker 3: We're still not even close to Biden prices, but the
- 8:48Speaker 3: official position was the president does not control the price
- 8:54Speaker 3: of gasoline. Hey, you know they got these speed cameras everywhere,
- 9:00Speaker 3: not just in the cities, but the suburbs are getting
- 9:02Speaker 3: them all now, all over the place. They got those
- 9:03Speaker 3: speed cameras that'll take a picture of your license plate,
- 9:07Speaker 3: your car and record your spece. So if you're speeding
- 9:10Speaker 3: past the speed camera, you get a ticket in the mail.
- 9:13Speaker 3: There's not much you can do about it. There's the
- 9:15Speaker 3: picture of you. It's really hard to fight. So it
- 9:19Speaker 3: brings in a lot of revenue. Now, besides the annoying
- 9:25Speaker 3: thing about getting the ticket, a lot of people are
- 9:27Speaker 3: starting to get nervous about all these speed cameras. Did
- 9:29Speaker 3: you know those speed cameras are not put up by
- 9:31Speaker 3: the government. It's not by the local No, it's a
- 9:35Speaker 3: private company, and the towns or wherever contract with this
- 9:41Speaker 3: private company. It's called flock Safety. It's their cameras. They
- 9:46Speaker 3: put them up, they collect the information government pays them
- 9:50Speaker 3: to do it. Now a lot of people thinking flock
- 9:53Speaker 3: Safety is gathering too much data on everybody, because when
- 9:57Speaker 3: the government gives them a contract for the speed cameras,
- 9:59Speaker 3: they they put them all over the place, some for speed,
- 10:03Speaker 3: some just watching, so that it's basically they're setting up
- 10:05Speaker 3: a surveillance system. All over the town or all over
- 10:08Speaker 3: a city, and they're keeping track of everything you do.
- 10:12Speaker 3: They're really gathering a lot of data on people. When
- 10:16Speaker 3: they photograph your license plate, your car, they can go
- 10:21Speaker 3: they have a database where they can look up your registration,
- 10:23Speaker 3: your name, your address, who you are. And what a
- 10:27Speaker 3: lot of these companies do to make money is they
- 10:28Speaker 3: sell all the information or they use the information to
- 10:32Speaker 3: learn stuff about you. So again it's not the government,
- 10:34Speaker 3: it's this problem private company Flock Safety, gathering tons and
- 10:39Speaker 3: tons and tons of data. And it's not just that
- 10:42Speaker 3: when you drive by it triggers the speed camera. But
- 10:45Speaker 3: apparently some Flock employees can view the cameras twenty four
- 10:49Speaker 3: to seven anytime they want. They can just look at
- 10:51Speaker 3: the cameras, so they can keep an eye on you,
- 10:54Speaker 3: your house, or whatever's around there. Just remember this, it'd
- 11:00Speaker 3: become a story, a more important story at some point.
- 11:03Speaker 3: What was Flock Safety spying on us for? What were
- 11:05Speaker 3: they doing with the information? Interesting? Now New York Times,
- 11:11Speaker 3: Crazy New York Times. They write a big article about
- 11:14Speaker 3: what we're gonna lose when the Late Show goes away?
- 11:17Speaker 3: Stephen Colbert New York Times, big headline, what do we
- 11:21Speaker 3: lose when the Late Show goes away, you know, really nothing.
- 11:24Speaker 3: Nobody watches it. It's a tiny audience. It's like a
- 11:28Speaker 3: million people. That's it. The old Johnny Carson to the
- 11:31Speaker 3: Night Show would get nine twelve million people on a
- 11:33Speaker 3: good night, Big night, they'd get forty to fifty million people.
- 11:36Speaker 3: To say, one million maybe. But they write this whole
- 11:40Speaker 3: article about the decline of what it means to lose.
- 11:43Speaker 3: Now watch they're going to replace this with a cheap
- 11:46Speaker 3: show Byron Allen's Comics Unleashed. It's a bunch of comics
- 11:50Speaker 3: doing jokes. It costs nothing, it's low budget. It'll get
- 11:55Speaker 3: two or three times the ratings of Colbert. It'll do
- 11:57Speaker 3: much better than Colbert. They're replacing it with that. And
- 12:00Speaker 3: also Byron Allen's got a game show. I forget what
- 12:03Speaker 3: it's called, but it's kind of a kind of a
- 12:05Speaker 3: copy of Hollywood Squares. But watch that'll get three times
- 12:09Speaker 3: the ratings of Colbert for no money at all. Hey,
- 12:12Speaker 3: it's Don rickles one hundredth birthday. We've been taking a
- 12:15Speaker 3: look back at Don Rickles all this morning. It's incredible guy.
- 12:21Speaker 3: He was a great guy, regular guest on this show. Now,
- 12:24Speaker 3: over the years, I used to be on in the
- 12:26Speaker 3: afternoons wnew afternoons, we'd do it live. But since coming
- 12:32Speaker 3: to WR I've been on in the mornings. So ten
- 12:35Speaker 3: o'clock in the morning here, that's seven o'clock in the
- 12:37Speaker 3: morning in California. So, to be honest, many times he
- 12:41Speaker 3: was on this show. If he wasn't in New York,
- 12:43Speaker 3: we'd pre record it. You can't get up at seven
- 12:46Speaker 3: in the morning, so we'd pre record it. Now Here's
- 12:48Speaker 3: what it sounded like when I would call him. So
- 12:51Speaker 3: I'm calling him on the phone so we can pre
- 12:53Speaker 3: record the interview. Listen to when listen to when he answers, Hello, Hey,
- 12:59Speaker 3: it's Mark Simon.
- 13:00Speaker 5: What is it?
- 13:00Speaker 6: What is it you want? Well, we're give me a
- 13:03Speaker 6: lifetime leave me alone for christ.
- 13:05Speaker 7: Yeah, we're gonna We're gonna record this interview.
- 13:06Speaker 3: We'll play it on.
- 13:07Speaker 5: Where do I go to go to? Three people in Philadelphia?
- 13:11Speaker 5: Hang on sounds like a support so not just dead,
- 13:15Speaker 5: So get over, try to get over, Well, hang on
- 13:18Speaker 5: one to it.
- 13:18Speaker 3: I'll start. He was such a funny guy. Uh let
- 13:22Speaker 3: me find one more clip. Uh. Don Rickles on the
- 13:24Speaker 3: show a few years ago. I love Bob Newhart. But
- 13:29Speaker 3: who was going to give you more lesson? Oh?
- 13:30Speaker 7: Wait, Ron, clip right, this one we'll talk with Don
- 13:33Speaker 7: Rickles me. I've never asked you this before. If you
- 13:35Speaker 7: were not allowed to be in show business, what would
- 13:37Speaker 7: you be doing for a living?
- 13:39Speaker 5: Well, this has I'm not You're gonna push your chair
- 13:42Speaker 5: away when I tell you. If I had the education,
- 13:45Speaker 5: which I never had. In other words, I went to
- 13:47Speaker 5: high school. But yeah, I always got a struggle with
- 13:49Speaker 5: education in the service, right, But if I had the education,
- 13:52Speaker 5: I would have loved to have been a psychiatrist.
- 13:54Speaker 6: You're kidding, I may say that, yeah, Well, because you know,
- 13:59Speaker 6: because in my work it is a form of psychiatry
- 14:02Speaker 6: I have.
- 14:02Speaker 5: I have a second sense with people, and I know
- 14:06Speaker 5: when I'm talking to somebody, I can read them pretty good.
- 14:09Speaker 7: Pretty good, you read them better than anybody.
- 14:11Speaker 5: Well, thank you. But it's been something since I was a.
- 14:14Speaker 6: Very young man, and I've gone along with it because
- 14:17Speaker 6: people used to say, you know, well, I'm still till
- 14:19Speaker 6: they say, oh, the guy's going to insult you, but
- 14:21Speaker 6: he's me and that's not true.
- 14:23Speaker 5: Otherwise I wouldn't be headlining all these years.
- 14:26Speaker 6: What I do is I exaggerate everything. And I'm not
- 14:30Speaker 6: mean spirited, and I don't really do a joke, per se.
- 14:33Speaker 6: I do a situation that becomes a joke. And the
- 14:36Speaker 6: whole idea is to exaggerate all our insecurities, you know
- 14:39Speaker 6: what I'm saying.
- 14:40Speaker 7: Yeah, but you look at the guy. You know what
- 14:41Speaker 7: he does for a living. You know whether he's married.
- 14:43Speaker 7: I mean, you sent you can figure out if you're
- 14:45Speaker 7: like an X ray machine, you're like sonar radars.
- 14:47Speaker 5: Well, thank you, Mark, you know no, I'm on a
- 14:49Speaker 5: tenne I'll get you know.
- 14:50Speaker 7: Yeah, but you know, a psychiatrist, they usually they take
- 14:53Speaker 7: five years and then they still haven't cured your problem.
- 14:55Speaker 5: And well that's why I'm working them around.
- 14:57Speaker 3: In Westbury, the Great Don Wrickles one hundred years old today,
- 15:04Speaker 3: and we really, we really miss him. So, uh hey,
- 15:07Speaker 3: we'll take some calls next. Bruce Blakeman will be with
- 15:09Speaker 3: us in a few minutes. We'll take some calls next.
- 15:11Speaker 3: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 15:15Speaker 3: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
