The Nation of Islam mourns the passing of Khadijah Farrakhan, beloved wife of Louis Farrakhan and the organization’s first lady, who died at 90 after 72 years of marriage. Once known as Betsy Ross, she embraced Islam in 1955 alongside her husband and became a powerful voice for women, notably leading the 1997 Million Woman March in Philadelphia.
