Dominoes: Pete Alonso is an Oriole; Ripple Effects for the Mets; Paul Skenes’ Interesting Comments
Hembo and Buster discuss whether Paul Skenes is gently pushing the Pirates into action, the Orioles signing Pete Alonso to a five-year deal, the Mets’ surprising lack of interest in Alonso, the pressure on David Stearns, and why Bo Bichette should be the Yankees’ free agent prize. Then, Alden Gonzalez and Jorge Castillo stop by to talk about the important stretch of the offseason ahead of the Mets, how the Alonso deal could impact Alex Bregman’s contract, and why the Royals make sense for Ketel Marte. Plus, what they’re hearing on the Yankees and Dodgers.
