- 1:51Speaker 3: So the last one that we'll talk about is stock gifting.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Remember that that post you put up like that was
- 1:58Speaker 2: years ago.
- 2:00Speaker 1: We're like, yo, instead at a baby shower getting gifts,
- 2:02Speaker 1: we should be Brian stocks That really didn't pick up.
- 2:05Speaker 2: People really didn't take advantage of that.
- 2:07Speaker 1: But that's one of these things, right, Like, if we
- 2:10Speaker 1: know the advantage of investing in the market, right and
- 2:14Speaker 1: we have a child that is coming into this Wow,
- 2:17Speaker 1: And it doesn't even have to be a baby shower.
- 2:19Speaker 1: It could be any type of holiday, it could be
- 2:21Speaker 1: a birthday, it could be Christmas. Yes, it's cool to
- 2:24Speaker 1: have cool toys and have nice items, but the one
- 2:28Speaker 1: thing we know about those items is that they're gonna
- 2:29Speaker 1: hold no value after we open and they're not gonna
- 2:32Speaker 1: appreciate time. Even if it's a collectible like a sneaker
- 2:35Speaker 1: or something a child at seven eight not they're wearing
- 2:38Speaker 1: that shoe and they're gonna wear that thing to death
- 2:40Speaker 1: and it's gonna be worth nothing after it was purchasing one.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Whereas if we put it into an investment like a
- 2:46Speaker 1: stock on atf on index, we know long term that
- 2:49Speaker 1: that's gonna appreciate, and so we need to get in
- 2:52Speaker 1: the habit of at least thinking that way. Right, we
- 2:54Speaker 1: can now gift an asset that's going to appreciate over
- 2:59Speaker 1: the course of someone's life, and even if they don't know.
- 3:02Speaker 1: I think that's the perfect part of it. A lot
- 3:04Speaker 1: of times, and we've seen people be gifted stock and
- 3:07Speaker 1: they're like, what is this? What do I do with this?
- 3:09Speaker 1: It now becomes a teaching lesson again, Right, you always
- 3:12Speaker 1: have to have an inflection point in any point of education,
- 3:15Speaker 1: the fact that you've done something that is completely different
- 3:18Speaker 1: than buying a PlayStation, Right, maybe you buy Sony stock
- 3:22Speaker 1: in addition to it. Right, so now it's best of
- 3:24Speaker 1: both for us. Well, here I invested in the actual item,
- 3:27Speaker 1: but here we invested in the company too. Here's why
- 3:29Speaker 1: we did it, and here's how long you're going to
- 3:31Speaker 1: hold it. It's an inflection point now to increase the
- 3:33Speaker 1: intelligence of a child that you know that becomes contagious. Right,
- 3:37Speaker 1: the kid now gets to explain to him his peers
- 3:39Speaker 1: and his cousins and his friends what happened, and hopefully
- 3:42Speaker 1: they explain to their parents. That's how you build education
- 3:45Speaker 1: in the community. Digress, Yeah, for sure.
- 3:47Speaker 3: And the irs allows tax free gifts of eighteen thousand
- 3:54Speaker 3: dollars a year. Whow So we have never really talked
- 3:57Speaker 3: about gifting too much, but you can gift eighteen thousand
- 4:01Speaker 3: dollars a year tax free. So we talked about the
- 4:05Speaker 3: tax benefits as far as you know if you're a
- 4:06Speaker 3: self employed person. But this is another way to kind
- 4:09Speaker 3: of a tax purposes benefits.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Is you know, when you're talking.
- 4:12Speaker 3: About stock gifting, the tax aspect is a major part
- 4:16Speaker 3: of it. So this is a you can you can
- 4:19Speaker 3: gift tax free up to eighteen thousand dollars a year, right,
- 4:26Speaker 3: and it doesn't have to be just stocks, but we're
- 4:28Speaker 3: talking about stocks right now, so that's the main focus.
- 4:30Speaker 3: But it's the same principles that apply when we talked
- 4:34Speaker 3: about all of the other stuff.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Right.
- 4:36Speaker 3: You you can literally take ten thousand dollars a year
- 4:41Speaker 3: and gifted to your child or to your grandchild, and
- 4:45Speaker 3: that's tax free and that same compounding interest growth will occur.
- 4:53Speaker 3: So that's another benefit of you know, gifting, is that
- 4:58Speaker 3: the tax aspect of like, that's a great way to
- 5:03Speaker 3: utilize the tax system in America and to still benefit
- 5:09Speaker 3: the next generation.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Yeah, and somebody's going to ask, well, how do I
- 5:12Speaker 1: give to It goes back to the third way that we
- 5:15Speaker 1: said that you can create a millionaire situation for your
- 5:19Speaker 1: child open the up my account, right that up my
- 5:21Speaker 1: account is super important number. Again for the tax purposes,
- 5:25Speaker 1: but again this is now something you can put assets
- 5:28Speaker 1: inside of, whether it be collectibles, whether it be real estate,
- 5:31Speaker 1: whether it be I bid to invest in bitcoin. This
- 5:36Speaker 1: is a definite must if you're trying to build wealth
- 5:39Speaker 1: for your children, right, you have to have an up
- 5:41Speaker 1: my account. In fact, I encourage everybody after they watch
- 5:43Speaker 1: this video or tomorrow morning, go to your broker's account,
- 5:46Speaker 1: whichever one you use, and I've done it on each
- 5:48Speaker 1: one of them. So Fidelity has it, Chuab has it,
- 5:50Speaker 1: each Trade has it.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Open.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Then up my account and just open it. Put five
- 5:55Speaker 1: hundred dollars in there. In the same way we talk
- 5:57Speaker 1: about dollar cost averaging. Right, this is another key thing.
- 6:00Speaker 1: The same way we talked about dollar cost averaging. Make
- 6:02Speaker 1: sure that you have a plan into putting money into
- 6:05Speaker 1: that upme account. Don't just leave it at the five
- 6:07Speaker 1: hundred that you did to open and thinking that it's
- 6:09Speaker 1: going to grow. We told you the threshold from a
- 6:11Speaker 1: tax standpoint, we told you the things that you can
- 6:13Speaker 1: invest inside of it.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Make sure that there's a plan to put.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Assets until it can accumulate to something that's going to
- 6:19Speaker 1: be worthwhile in the future.
- 6:20Speaker 4: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 6:24Speaker 4: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from El Salvador
- 6:28Speaker 4: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 6:32Speaker 4: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 6:36Speaker 4: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 6:40Speaker 4: Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christy Noman, the United States
- 6:44Speaker 4: Secretary of Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal border
- 6:48Speaker 4: crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over
- 6:52Speaker 4: one hundred thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you
- 6:55Speaker 4: are here illegally, your next you will be fine nearly
- 6:59Speaker 4: one one thousand dollars a day, imprisoned, and deported. You
- 7:03Speaker 4: will never return. But if you register using our CBP
- 7:07Speaker 4: home app and leave now, you could be allowed to
- 7:10Speaker 4: return legally. Do what's right, leave now. Under President Trump,
- 7:15Speaker 4: America's laws, border and families will be protected.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland Security,
