- 0:00Speaker 1: Because Fuck You That's Why is a founding member of
- 0:03Speaker 1: the Odd Pods Media Network.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Welcome one and all to episode two fifty three of
- 0:40Speaker 2: Because Fuck You That's Why, b F Y t W
- 0:43Speaker 2: the BF two or three. In this case, it's such
- 0:48Speaker 2: as me. There's three of us sitting here in this
- 0:49Speaker 2: little room. We're gonna have some fun. For those who
- 0:53Speaker 2: don't know. If this is your first episode ever, welcome,
- 0:56Speaker 2: But also we are a panel show inspired podcast, so
- 1:00Speaker 2: we're gonna play three silly games, have some fun along
- 1:02Speaker 2: the way. Whoever has the most points at the end
- 1:04Speaker 2: of the game wins a sense of deep shame, which
- 1:08Speaker 2: is sadly normal around here.
- 1:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:10Speaker 4: I was gonna say, yeah, that's part for the course.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Nothing changing.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, pretty much. But we're gonna do it anyway,
- 1:15Speaker 2: and it should be fun. It always is. So let
- 1:18Speaker 2: me introduce myself. I am your host, Pansa Saran and
- 1:21Speaker 2: all you hit.
- 1:22Speaker 3: It'll check some stones for.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Uh. And I'm doing the introductions out of order for
- 1:42Speaker 2: some reason.
- 1:42Speaker 4: Changing second that I was already working my way down.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Like I'm ready to do one of us.
- 1:48Speaker 4: No ill over here.
- 1:50Speaker 2: But so the question that I'm going to ask this
- 1:54Speaker 2: time is what is the most ridiculous thing you've seen lately?
- 2:01Speaker 2: And I'm gonna start off with myself. I you know,
- 2:04Speaker 2: you know I love game shows, I really do, I
- 2:06Speaker 2: really do. And there's all kinds, you know. They never
- 2:11Speaker 2: cease to amaze me with what people are coming up
- 2:13Speaker 2: with for game shows, and it just just never stops.
- 2:18Speaker 2: But I found one on YouTube the other day that
- 2:20Speaker 2: I just I'm just in awe. I can't It's called
- 2:25Speaker 2: The Edge and it's it's hosted by a British sports
- 2:30Speaker 2: casting legend. Her name is Gabby. I can't remember her
- 2:33Speaker 2: last name for the life of me, but she's brilliant
- 2:36Speaker 2: and she's great and she deserves a way better show.
- 2:41Speaker 2: So basically what she does is she asks like the
- 2:44Speaker 2: trivia questions. Contestants answer them until they get three right.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Then they get a ball. They take it over to
- 2:50Speaker 2: elane and they roll it. They're trying to get the
- 2:54Speaker 2: ball as close to the edge as possible. The closer
- 2:58Speaker 2: to the edge you get, the more money it's worth,
- 3:01Speaker 2: and that money goes through you to the final round.
- 3:04Speaker 1: It's almost like table shuffle board, like at the bar.
- 3:06Speaker 2: There are four lanes. There's green, blue, yellow, and red,
- 3:10Speaker 2: and the further ones, the blue one, the green, those
- 3:15Speaker 2: are shorter and you stand closer to the money, so
- 3:20Speaker 2: you have less far to roll. The yellow ones and
- 3:24Speaker 2: the red are much further away. You have to roll
- 3:26Speaker 2: a lot farther, and you know, have we're gonna have
- 3:29Speaker 2: much harder time landing on money. Having said that, like
- 3:32Speaker 2: the player who rolls the worst is eliminated, and everybody
- 3:36Speaker 2: else goes back to their podiums and they do it
- 3:38Speaker 2: all again, but this time they get rid of the
- 3:40Speaker 2: best lane, the green one. There's just blue, yellow and red.
- 3:43Speaker 2: They do it again. Then there's only two contestants and
- 3:46Speaker 2: there's just yellow and red. And each time they get
- 3:48Speaker 2: to roll in additional time. So the second time they
- 3:50Speaker 2: roll twice, the third time they roll three times, and
- 3:53Speaker 2: however much money they have, it's it's it's it's bachi like,
- 4:00Speaker 2: it's basically botching, and it's like and that's not even
- 4:05Speaker 2: the worst problem I have with this, cause like, first
- 4:10Speaker 2: of all, British game stones are they're so cheap, They're
- 4:14Speaker 2: so inexplicably cheap. I'm like, you are making so much
- 4:17Speaker 2: money from all these advertisements, you can't throw a little
- 4:21Speaker 2: more at your contestants, like you know, for the final round,
- 4:24Speaker 2: they do more questions. Each question expands the edge, which
- 4:28Speaker 2: is the highest value money spot. Each question they get
- 4:31Speaker 2: right expands it to make the edge larger, and they
- 4:34Speaker 2: just have to land on the edge to take their
- 4:35Speaker 2: money home. If they do it, if they decide to
- 4:38Speaker 2: try it in one ball, they get the entire amount,
- 4:40Speaker 2: If they want two balls, they take half, and if
- 4:43Speaker 2: they want to do it in three balls, they get
- 4:46Speaker 2: fucking a third of their money. And I'm like, for
- 4:51Speaker 2: God's sake, like the most you could have is like
- 4:54Speaker 2: a couple grand when you get here, and now you're
- 4:56Speaker 2: splitting it that, Like contestants are walking away with like
- 4:59Speaker 2: seven hundred pound and I'm like, what's that gonna get him?
- 5:02Speaker 1: Like a trip?
- 5:04Speaker 2: Like a trip like a county over right? Like it
- 5:10Speaker 2: just aggravates me not to mention Gab. Gabby is a legend,
- 5:13Speaker 2: and she's great. She's a phenomenal sportscaster and personality and celebrity,
- 5:18Speaker 2: but damn they have her repeating the information over and
- 5:22Speaker 2: over again to the point where I'm like, stop it,
- 5:26Speaker 2: just stop. I know he has seven hundred pounds. Ye
- 5:30Speaker 2: I saw the ball land on it. It went up
- 5:32Speaker 2: on the big screen. You said it once already, now
- 5:35Speaker 2: you're saying it again. I just I just want to
- 5:39Speaker 2: scream at how ridiculous the show is. It's it's I
- 5:42Speaker 2: don't it got two seasons? How how?
- 5:46Speaker 1: Anyway, nothing else there.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Apparently, No, there's tons of game shows, and some of
- 5:50Speaker 2: them are actually good. But I mean Jesus, anyway, Sorry,
- 5:56Speaker 2: I just went off on a little random So anyway,
- 5:59Speaker 2: that's that's my example of something ridiculous.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
- 6:03Speaker 2: And he is a gamer and a storyteller, and he
- 6:06Speaker 2: used to be my youngest friend. Now he's just Augie.
- 6:10Speaker 2: He's a game what's the most ridiculous thing you've seen lately?
- 6:32Speaker 2: He's still looking.
- 6:32Speaker 4: For I know. The thing is, I had an answer,
- 6:36Speaker 4: and then I decided to kind of do a little scrolling,
- 6:38Speaker 4: and I realized that my answer kind of pales in
- 6:41Speaker 4: comparison to the rest of what's going on there. But
- 6:45Speaker 4: have you ever heard a game called Fortnite?
- 6:47Speaker 2: Yes?
- 6:47Speaker 4: Yeah, so Fortnite back when I yeah, I know you did,
- 6:52Speaker 4: uh Fortnite went back when it first came out. It
- 6:55Speaker 4: was kind of interesting, you know, cartoony like kind of
- 6:58Speaker 4: a bill battle or game It also was supposed to
- 7:01Speaker 4: have a zombie moo. Don't know if it still does.
- 7:04Speaker 4: But over time they start bringing in like licensing from
- 7:10Speaker 4: other media and other you know things such as like
- 7:13Speaker 4: Marvel or DC. But then they start bringing in some
- 7:18Speaker 4: like really obscure characters or not obscure characters, just characters
- 7:22Speaker 4: you wouldn't think you'd see in a video game, like
- 7:24Speaker 4: Peter Griffin, the teenage mutant, Ninja, Turtles fucking who did
- 7:30Speaker 4: I just see here a second fucking second ago? I'm
- 7:33Speaker 4: pretty sure, like big birds in here somewhere. I'm not
- 7:36Speaker 4: entirely sure positive. But the most ridiculous when I've seen recently,
- 7:40Speaker 4: and I say ridiculous just because it's just progressively getting
- 7:43Speaker 4: more and more crazy how much shit they have in there,
- 7:46Speaker 4: is the meme character Skibbyy Toilet. Now, I am not
- 7:54Speaker 4: afraid nor a shamed to admit that I am too
- 7:58Speaker 4: old for that generation. Oh God, not to say i'd
- 8:04Speaker 4: shy away from it. I obviously pay as much attention
- 8:07Speaker 4: to it as possible because I'd like to talk to
- 8:09Speaker 4: my nephews and nieces.
- 8:13Speaker 2: I love that that's the only thing that talk about toilet.
- 8:17Speaker 1: But.
- 8:19Speaker 4: I just like I just haven't see them, like, like,
- 8:22Speaker 4: good for them. They made a meme on the line,
- 8:25Speaker 4: that's their culture now, and now it's in a video game,
- 8:28Speaker 4: so they get to kind of enjoy it while having
- 8:30Speaker 4: someplace to enjoy it with. But uh, what, like where
- 8:36Speaker 4: do you go from there?
- 8:37Speaker 2: Yeah, Skimmity Toilet was pretty much where I had to
- 8:40Speaker 2: just accept that the Internet has passed me by. Yeah,
- 8:43Speaker 2: I'm I'm officially too old now to understand.
- 8:47Speaker 4: This is what our parents felt like.
- 8:49Speaker 2: To understand what. Yeah, and this is exactly what.
- 8:51Speaker 4: And the thing is, I can't drag these kids for
- 8:54Speaker 4: liking this stuff. I used to giggle with my buddies
- 8:57Speaker 4: playing Badger Mushroom on fucking for hours.
- 9:01Speaker 2: I enjoyed the new Manuma Guy.
- 9:02Speaker 4: Yeah, oh my god, getting Rick rolled every other video
- 9:08Speaker 4: like that.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Was that was I was having a great time and
- 9:11Speaker 2: I was I was like the ride. Honestly, he was
- 9:15Speaker 2: experiencing joy, And honestly it was.
- 9:18Speaker 4: Like he enjoyed himself.
- 9:19Speaker 2: That's all.
- 9:21Speaker 4: You know. I get that.
- 9:22Speaker 2: I don't see the joy in Skimmity Toilet.
- 9:24Speaker 1: I don't know understand.
- 9:26Speaker 2: I don't know what it means. I don't have any idea.
- 9:30Speaker 4: I don't you don't need to understand it. You just
- 9:32Speaker 4: need to accept that it's theirs and there, and the.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Culture is like Geist and the Riz has gone right past.
- 9:41Speaker 2: I was never much for the Ris in the first place.
- 9:43Speaker 2: I could barely manage the cual and I would never
- 9:50Speaker 2: get to the mall.
- 9:51Speaker 4: So did you know that that now goon means something different?
- 9:57Speaker 2: Oh Jesus Christ, No, thank you age in the words,
- 10:02Speaker 2: I'm just cooked and done with So Stevie, before this
- 10:09Speaker 2: gets too lit, he's a veteran of the podcast Cringe,
- 10:17Speaker 2: a veteran podcaster, and Stevie, goddamn it, it's Steve.
- 10:23Speaker 3: It's Steve.
- 10:27Speaker 4: I never regretted anything. Can we go back to talking
- 10:34Speaker 4: about politics?
- 10:37Speaker 2: I have never stee Yeah, sir, what's the most ridiculous
- 10:46Speaker 2: thing you've seen lately?
- 10:48Speaker 1: I can't even say scene. How about if I was
- 10:50Speaker 1: the most ridiculous thing lately. I was on an episode
- 10:54Speaker 1: of The Fink Show. Oh boy, oh god, yesterday?
- 11:00Speaker 4: It was yesterday? Yeah, because you were six, so you
- 11:02Speaker 4: missed the day.
- 11:03Speaker 1: No, it was Thursday. I was supposed to be on
- 11:05Speaker 1: last night, right, and then I unfortunately got the death together.
- 11:11Speaker 1: I got the death for a day or two days.
- 11:13Speaker 4: He caught the death but he got better.
- 11:14Speaker 2: I did.
- 11:15Speaker 1: I got better. But I was on the Thing show
- 11:18Speaker 1: and for fun, and these guys are amazing. Like I
- 11:23Speaker 1: pretty much ranted about I'll he plugged your ears. Sorry, folks,
- 11:30Speaker 1: masturbation butt plugs. Like we went into some weird conversation.
- 11:35Speaker 1: I learned a lot about them, not just me, because
- 11:38Speaker 1: we went into this like have you done this?
- 11:40Speaker 5: Like?
- 11:40Speaker 1: Where have you done this? He doesn't need to hear this.
- 11:43Speaker 2: He's not twelve, he's old enough to understand. I'm fairly
- 11:48Speaker 2: sure he's masturbated with a butt plug at some point.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Maybe, Okay, it's possible.
- 11:52Speaker 4: Okay, are you watching me in the shower?
- 11:54Speaker 3: No?
- 11:55Speaker 1: Hey, that cameras for paid.
- 11:57Speaker 4: Yeah, you gotta pay for that.
- 11:58Speaker 2: There. I know me, I know what I've done, so
- 12:02Speaker 2: I have to imagine you've done at least stuff halfway
- 12:04Speaker 2: up that scale.
- 12:07Speaker 4: You surprise how little I do.
- 12:12Speaker 1: But no, I'm easy.
- 12:13Speaker 2: I'm just saying, Oh God, Stevie, please.
- 12:19Speaker 1: The ridiculousness was awesome, and I want to thank them
- 12:22Speaker 1: for allowing me to come on. There be goofeous. You
- 12:25Speaker 1: want some goofiness goes there? But other net billed one
- 12:28Speaker 1: and two yesterday and I had to say that was
- 12:30Speaker 1: pretty fucking ridiculous. Oh yeah, yeah, because we've seen it
- 12:33Speaker 1: so many times we started to like pant out new things.
- 12:36Speaker 2: Ever, good movie, dude. The second one ups the ridiculousness
- 12:42Speaker 2: by death is awesome. Part of that.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Oh my god, he's so good And honestly, it's honestly
- 12:51Speaker 1: that dude, William Sadler, the guy who plays that, he
- 12:53Speaker 1: deserves to do.
- 12:54Speaker 2: More comedy roles because that is one of the funniest
- 12:57Speaker 2: things I've ever seen. Y So, he was so damn good.
- 13:00Speaker 4: I have a question.
- 13:01Speaker 2: I know he's I know he's older now and he
- 13:03Speaker 2: wasn't the third one, which is fun, but I mean, yeah.
- 13:07Speaker 4: So I have a question for you, Aaron, Yeah, what's
- 13:09Speaker 4: up the Aliens and Bill Station? When they're both when
- 13:15Speaker 4: they're separated, are they still station or are they stat
- 13:18Speaker 4: an ion?
- 13:19Speaker 2: No, they're Station. Okay.
- 13:21Speaker 4: I thought they were two separate entities and then and
- 13:24Speaker 4: then became station.
- 13:24Speaker 2: When they they are Station. They are a hive mind
- 13:27Speaker 2: entity that refers to itself in the singular. Even though
- 13:31Speaker 2: they're plural, multiple and they have few they think of
- 13:34Speaker 2: themselves as one entity even though there's two of them
- 13:38Speaker 2: so naturally, it makes sense that when they converge into
- 13:41Speaker 2: one person, they still treat themselves the same way. But
- 13:44Speaker 2: it's it's not it's not unheard of in sci fi
- 13:47Speaker 2: or you know, I don't know. It could be a
- 13:49Speaker 2: thing in nature for all I know. Anyway, A good question, though.
- 13:53Speaker 2: All right, shall we get to play some games? Yes,
- 13:56Speaker 2: let's do it. Our first game is going to be
- 13:58Speaker 2: have I got bad news for you. I've got three
- 14:01Speaker 2: news stories here, and all our players have to do
- 14:03Speaker 2: is tell me which one of these I decided before
- 14:05Speaker 2: the show is the worst news of the week. Whichever
- 14:08Speaker 2: player successfully selects the worst news I have, or if
- 14:12Speaker 2: neither gets it, the player who picks the second worst news,
- 14:14Speaker 2: will win the game and earn one episode point. We're
- 14:18Speaker 2: gonna start with story number one. Cardboard cutouts cure lonely
- 14:22Speaker 2: Sunfish's depression.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Let's fold the fish to his friends.
- 14:30Speaker 5: This happens a lot more often because goldfish have like
- 14:34Speaker 5: no memory, like a friend.
- 14:36Speaker 4: It's mostly yeah, it's mostly it's a behavioral thing because
- 14:40Speaker 4: they don't necessarily need other things in with them for
- 14:44Speaker 4: rereading purposes, oftentimes, like school that fish or animals that
- 14:48Speaker 4: herd need something else with them, because well they don't
- 14:51Speaker 4: feel as safe okay, and it can cause unnecessary stress
- 14:54Speaker 4: they might communicate or whatever.
- 14:56Speaker 2: I figured this news story would be right up boggy
- 14:59Speaker 2: olly yeah. Yeah. This sunfish was caught off the coast
- 15:01Speaker 2: of Japan. Usually sunfish are fifteen feet long and can
- 15:06Speaker 2: weigh upwards of six thousand pounds.
- 15:09Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Fuck, I mean, big Jesus.
- 15:11Speaker 2: This one is kind of small. It only weighed sixty
- 15:14Speaker 2: one pounds when they caught it, and it was two
- 15:16Speaker 2: and a half feet long. But that smaller size made
- 15:20Speaker 2: it an excellent candidate for an aquarium, so they took
- 15:24Speaker 2: it to the Kaikioaken Aquarium in shimin Oseki.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Okay, right around the corner got.
- 15:30Speaker 2: The fish is a little is a little. It's a
- 15:33Speaker 2: little mysterious because the staff haven't even been able to
- 15:36Speaker 2: figure out if it's male or female, and they haven't
- 15:38Speaker 2: even given a name. But it's a big hit at
- 15:41Speaker 2: this aquarium. People would go up to the glass and
- 15:44Speaker 2: it would be curious about them, would go up to
- 15:46Speaker 2: them and have a look.
- 15:47Speaker 4: It's not aggressive fish at all, no size.
- 15:50Speaker 2: No, it was doing great and it was eating a
- 15:53Speaker 2: ton of food and then the aquarium needed to take
- 15:56Speaker 2: on some renovations, so they closed their doors to the
- 15:59Speaker 2: public for a six months. This is when the problems began.
- 16:03Speaker 2: All of a sudden, the fish started having some baffling
- 16:05Speaker 2: health issues. It stopped eating. No matter how much of
- 16:09Speaker 2: its favorite food the staff dumped into the tank, it
- 16:12Speaker 2: wouldn't touch it, and it started getting a little loopy.
- 16:15Speaker 2: It was like scraping its body against the edge of
- 16:18Speaker 2: the tank, and they figured the fish was sick or
- 16:22Speaker 2: it might have had some digestive issues. But nothing worked,
- 16:26Speaker 2: and finally someone had the weird idea that what if
- 16:30Speaker 2: the fish was just lonely. It seemed ridiculous, but it
- 16:34Speaker 2: wasn't gonna hurt anything for trying. So they brought out
- 16:37Speaker 2: a bunch of unused staff uniforms and hung them on
- 16:40Speaker 2: the outside of the tank, and they printed out some
- 16:43Speaker 2: facial photos and taped them on touch on top of
- 16:45Speaker 2: each uniform shirt. They basically surrounded the sunfish tank with
- 16:49Speaker 2: cardboard cutouts. They probably felt really ridiculous while doing this,
- 16:53Speaker 2: but it was justified the very next day when the
- 16:55Speaker 2: fish started eating again. Yes, now that the sunfish is
- 16:59Speaker 2: apparently bounce back to being its usual energetic self. It
- 17:02Speaker 2: had apparently grown so accustomed to being a celebrity so
- 17:07Speaker 2: to speak, that its life felt empty without an audience.
- 17:10Speaker 4: That is fucking It felt safe in a large group,
- 17:14Speaker 4: and when that large group disappeared and it.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Couldn't go with that conditions, it got scared and it.
- 17:18Speaker 4: Started getting sick because it was stressing out because it
- 17:21Speaker 4: was like, I'm by myself, a predator is gonna get Oh.
- 17:24Speaker 1: My gosh, it's crazy animals.
- 17:27Speaker 4: It happens animals all the time. That's why, like a
- 17:29Speaker 4: lot of animals, you can't get them into certain zoos
- 17:32Speaker 4: because the size you would require for the amount you
- 17:35Speaker 4: would need, like you know, is a lot. Like you
- 17:38Speaker 4: can't just get one monkey. That monkey is going to
- 17:41Speaker 4: get really depressed and scared and like lonely if you
- 17:44Speaker 4: don't interact with it all the time.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Right, what are you saying that it's considering people to
- 17:50Speaker 2: be part of its heard so to speak.
- 17:51Speaker 4: It's school, Yeah, dogs, cats, all their animals do it.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Yeah wow, Yeah, it makes sense.
- 17:58Speaker 4: It's because it's it's all so and behavior. If you're
- 18:01Speaker 4: not going to hurt it and it won't hurt you,
- 18:05Speaker 4: there's a mutual understanding that you're both just there to survive.
- 18:09Speaker 4: Like it's it's that's nature, man. It doesn't matter if
- 18:12Speaker 4: you can communicate or communicate or not, if you're not
- 18:14Speaker 4: there to kill each other and you're both there.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Just I mean, that explained some unusual animal pairings I've
- 18:19Speaker 2: seen online. You know that the you know, trust and
- 18:23Speaker 2: love each other. Oh, Like a group of tiger cubs
- 18:26Speaker 2: were raised by like a golden retriever and they absolutely
- 18:32Speaker 2: loved her. But but she absolutely treated them like her
- 18:34Speaker 2: own kids. Like if they got on the line, she
- 18:36Speaker 2: would like get in their face and you know, you
- 18:39Speaker 2: yell at them, bark at them, and they absolutely would
- 18:41Speaker 2: slink like sorry, MoMA. Even though these animals could and
- 18:45Speaker 2: by the time they were grown, they could literally like
- 18:49Speaker 2: rip her treats if they wanted to. But they absolutely
- 18:52Speaker 2: loved her, and they absolutely you know, treated her as
- 18:56Speaker 2: though they were her mother.
- 18:58Speaker 4: And like I'm probably saying it wrong, but it's like
- 19:00Speaker 4: behavioral conditioning or something like that. It's it's basically where
- 19:04Speaker 4: they're raised a specific way and though in their nature
- 19:10Speaker 4: they will attack and eat you if they can, if
- 19:12Speaker 4: they think they can or whatever, but behaviorally they're gonna
- 19:17Speaker 4: act like this dog's puppies because.
- 19:19Speaker 1: That's how they were raised.
- 19:21Speaker 4: They weren't raised to be lions or tigers. That to
- 19:24Speaker 4: be said, there's still lions and tigers. They could still
- 19:26Speaker 4: do shit, but they're gonna act a little dog like now.
- 19:31Speaker 2: It's very funny. Anyway, Let's move on to story number two.
- 19:35Speaker 2: Forgotten cat makes three flights to be reunited with mom.
- 19:40Speaker 1: Dude deca actually have some good credit. They get three
- 19:42Speaker 1: flights and like that, quick time shit.
- 19:46Speaker 2: So this happened in New Zealand, or actually it happened
- 19:52Speaker 2: in Australia. The woman who owned the cat is from
- 19:54Speaker 2: New Zealand. It's an eight year old main coon cat,
- 19:58Speaker 2: naim Bittens. Unfortunately, Air New Zealand didn't allow the large
- 20:03Speaker 2: kitty into the cabin, so she had to go in
- 20:05Speaker 2: the cargo hole, and after landing in Melbourne, where she
- 20:09Speaker 2: was moving, the woman waited to pick up her cat
- 20:13Speaker 2: and waited and waited, nope, nope. Eventually an airport staff
- 20:18Speaker 2: member had to awkwardly break the news to her that
- 20:21Speaker 2: cargo handlers had missed Minton's cage and forgotten her on
- 20:25Speaker 2: the plane, and by the time anyone found out, Mittens
- 20:29Speaker 2: was halfway through the return flight back to christ Church
- 20:32Speaker 2: where she started.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Yeah, dude, like, protect the person that does that to
- 20:39Speaker 1: my fucking cat.
- 20:41Speaker 5: Not that I never fight, never taken the cat on
- 20:44Speaker 5: the plane. For some reason, something happened that I know,
- 20:49Speaker 5: don't shoot the messenger ship, but I'm sorry, awkward. They're
- 20:54Speaker 5: like they had a draw straws.
- 20:57Speaker 2: So the woman contacted pass Health Insurance pet shipping company
- 21:02Speaker 2: that arranged everything. They rushed to the airport to pick
- 21:05Speaker 2: her up. They give her a quick health check, gave
- 21:08Speaker 2: her a bath, and put her back on a plane
- 21:11Speaker 2: for her third and thankfully final flight of the day.
- 21:15Speaker 2: Now Mittens is back with her mama in Australia.
- 21:18Speaker 3: Uh.
- 21:18Speaker 2: And there's some silver linings to the story. The the
- 21:21Speaker 2: air the air company Air New Zealand agreed to cover,
- 21:25Speaker 2: you know, refund the pet transport pee and the I
- 21:30Speaker 2: don't know if i'd put this as a plus or
- 21:32Speaker 2: a minus. The experience has turned her previously fairly aloof
- 21:36Speaker 2: cat uh into becoming incredibly cuddly. She's apparently all over
- 21:42Speaker 2: her mom. Now yeah, and I'm like, that's that's I mean,
- 21:48Speaker 2: I'm happy for her mom, but that feels like a
- 21:50Speaker 2: sign of trauma. Like the cat has been traumatized. Yeah,
- 21:55Speaker 2: it is very is dealing with some really that that
- 22:00Speaker 2: is a rough not the best reason to be suddenly cuddly, you.
- 22:04Speaker 1: Know, I'm getting.
- 22:08Speaker 4: That is genuine stress on the animal rap But.
- 22:12Speaker 2: But it's still a good ending. At least they're reunited
- 22:16Speaker 2: and they're in there, they're in their new home and
- 22:19Speaker 2: everything seems to be going. And I forgot to go
- 22:26Speaker 2: over it. Like one of the reasons they forgot her
- 22:27Speaker 2: is because she was behind a collapsible wheelchair and they
- 22:32Speaker 2: didn't they didn't see her. They literally didn't see her.
- 22:35Speaker 2: And I'm like, well, I think this means you institute
- 22:37Speaker 2: a new policy. Pets need to be put at the
- 22:40Speaker 2: front of the cargos so you can't possibly miss them.
- 22:44Speaker 4: Or a more thorough check your cargo.
- 22:48Speaker 2: Yeah, if your cargo list includes an animal and you
- 22:52Speaker 2: don't find that animal, you need to go back.
- 22:56Speaker 1: You know what you owe that woman and her cat
- 23:01Speaker 1: so much more, like so much more.
- 23:04Speaker 4: Fuck they there's supposed to be a cat hair almost
- 23:07Speaker 4: have fell out halfway but through or some shit.
- 23:09Speaker 1: What was it?
- 23:10Speaker 2: Air New Zealand, Air New Zealand.
- 23:12Speaker 1: You Air New Zealand, you fucking cut We're never.
- 23:15Speaker 4: Going there anyways.
- 23:15Speaker 1: It's fine now, I was going to. I was gonna
- 23:18Speaker 1: book some BFL No, fuck you, guys.
- 23:20Speaker 4: I was gonna bring my cat too.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Definitely going there.
- 23:24Speaker 2: All right. Uh, it's time for our third and final
- 23:27Speaker 2: news story. Maryland woman horrified to learn that she's dead
- 23:32Speaker 2: while trying to renew her license at the DMB.
- 23:35Speaker 4: I just hate when that has also seems to happen
- 23:37Speaker 4: more often than that too.
- 23:40Speaker 2: I hate to say it, but it happens to about
- 23:41Speaker 2: ten thousand people a year.
- 23:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:45Speaker 2: So she was somewhat shocked when Maryland's Motor Vehicle administration
- 23:51Speaker 2: refused to renew her driver's license and someone had to
- 23:54Speaker 2: tell her to her face that she couldn't get a
- 23:58Speaker 2: new license because she was dead.
- 24:04Speaker 4: She has to keep paying taxes.
- 24:05Speaker 1: No, she doesn't. She gets insurance.
- 24:10Speaker 2: Do you think so the dm V.
- 24:12Speaker 1: I'm like, so you're telling me I get to do this.
- 24:13Speaker 1: You told me this your government.
- 24:15Speaker 2: As it turned out, this wasn't some weird bug in
- 24:19Speaker 2: the d MV system. Everyone from the I r S
- 24:22Speaker 2: to her health insurance announced that they were done dealing
- 24:25Speaker 2: with her because she was apparently no longer alive.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Did somebody falsify a de certificate.
- 24:32Speaker 4: The IRS gave up on her. Wow, Holy she beat
- 24:35Speaker 4: the I R.
- 24:36Speaker 2: That's amazing. Not exactly this was this was this was
- 24:43Speaker 2: a real problem. She received a letter from the I
- 24:45Speaker 2: R S referring to her as a deceased taxpayer UH
- 24:49Speaker 2: and her health insurance company UH found out that she
- 24:52Speaker 2: was dead, and just like that, her health insurance was canceled,
- 24:57Speaker 2: despite the fact that her and her three kids needed
- 24:59Speaker 2: things like my medication.
- 25:02Speaker 3: God.
- 25:02Speaker 2: So this was a real problem. Thankfully someone figured it out.
- 25:07Speaker 2: She received a call from someone at Social Security and
- 25:09Speaker 2: it turned out that someone at a funeral home somewhere
- 25:12Speaker 2: had gotten a digit wrong with an actual deceased individual
- 25:16Speaker 2: Social Security number and accidentally reported that she died instead.
- 25:21Speaker 2: Although she has been resurrected, she still has to do
- 25:26Speaker 2: a lot of work to get her accounts and registrations
- 25:28Speaker 2: back into the.
- 25:29Speaker 1: World of a living.
- 25:30Speaker 2: That's annoying, but at least it was found and she
- 25:34Speaker 2: is able to resolve most of these things. I believe
- 25:37Speaker 2: she already has her health insurance reinstated. Unfortunately, she's also
- 25:41Speaker 2: been reinstated on the IRS.
- 25:44Speaker 4: Not a lot because you as a child, now, I
- 25:48Speaker 4: was just born yesterday.
- 25:50Speaker 2: She's a dependent, yes, classified as infant. Still it's still
- 25:57Speaker 2: even though this only happens like zero point three three
- 26:01Speaker 2: percent of the time. Of the three million death reports
- 26:05Speaker 2: that the Social Security receives each year, is still ten
- 26:10Speaker 2: thousand people. It's still every year, so twenty seven or
- 26:14Speaker 2: so people are mistakenly reported dead every day.
- 26:17Speaker 4: God, I hope it happens to me because because then
- 26:20Speaker 4: I won't lose anything and everybody will just assume I'm dead.
- 26:25Speaker 1: Yeah, they called you anyway.
- 26:27Speaker 2: Yeah, people call me all the time, mostly you're mot
- 26:31Speaker 2: or not. That's mean, all right. So, uh, that's all
- 26:36Speaker 2: three of our stories. Our players just simply have to
- 26:39Speaker 2: tell me which one of these is the worst news
- 26:41Speaker 2: of the week. I can't remember which one of you
- 26:43Speaker 2: lost last game last time we played the Stevie you
- 26:46Speaker 2: lost last one?
- 26:47Speaker 1: Yeah, sorry, so Stevie.
- 26:49Speaker 2: Stevie's volunteering to go first.
- 26:51Speaker 1: So because I know the answer.
- 26:52Speaker 2: Steevie, which one of these is the worst news?
- 26:55Speaker 1: The cat one? Yeah, the cat one. Yeah, it sucks
- 26:59Speaker 1: that they report her death. That would just anger me too,
- 27:02Speaker 1: like more than anything. But she got it resolved and
- 27:04Speaker 1: everything is gonna be fixed. The cardboard cutouts again, they
- 27:07Speaker 1: resolve the fish is issue. There's no problem now, Yeah,
- 27:10Speaker 1: it kind of sucks. It's fucking fish is not an
- 27:13Speaker 1: OCTOPI like whatever. But the fucking cat who's been traumatized
- 27:18Speaker 1: for life, and you guys didn't even reimburse her for
- 27:21Speaker 1: her flights and shit or even get the cat therapy, Like,
- 27:24Speaker 1: go fuck yourselves, fuck them. I hope that fucking airline
- 27:28Speaker 1: goes under. I really do.
- 27:29Speaker 2: I could be mistaken. I think they actually did reimburse
- 27:32Speaker 2: it for the flight.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Well they should have done more. It's like upgraded the
- 27:35Speaker 1: first class forever, seriously, not like fuck them in their negligence,
- 27:40Speaker 1: Like that's fucking that pisses me off to no end.
- 27:44Speaker 2: All Right, so you have to select from one of
- 27:46Speaker 2: the other two.
- 27:48Speaker 4: Uh, well I can't choose cats because Stevie's.
- 27:52Speaker 1: You know what, for this game, you're allowed to.
- 27:54Speaker 4: This, Okay, Stevie, shut up, then I'm going to go ahead.
- 28:00Speaker 4: And she was the lady dying and having to now
- 28:03Speaker 4: painstakingly talk to every single fucking person that took her
- 28:08Speaker 4: off a list because they all assumed she was dead,
- 28:10Speaker 4: and then convince them that it's her and she's not dead.
- 28:13Speaker 4: I got I can't even imagine how annoying that's the
- 28:15Speaker 4: paperwork man.
- 28:17Speaker 1: She's finally got off a Columbia house.
- 28:24Speaker 4: Upset you know what, silver lighting all those spam callers
- 28:30Speaker 4: and fucking you know, spoofers and stuff like that. They're like, oh, well,
- 28:33Speaker 4: this line's no good anymore. She ain't alive anymore.
- 28:37Speaker 2: Well, I kind of feel bad about it now, But
- 28:39Speaker 2: the point goes to Augie because I did pick story
- 28:41Speaker 2: number three.
- 28:42Speaker 1: Wowow.
- 28:43Speaker 2: I picked the Maryland woman fighting to resurrect yourself and
- 28:47Speaker 2: prove it she's life, if only because I have such
- 28:50Speaker 2: immense sympathy for her, because I just changed my phone
- 28:53Speaker 2: number and I now have to spend hours on the
- 28:56Speaker 2: phone with everywhere that I have an account, which I've
- 28:59Speaker 2: learned is a staggering number of places, more than you
- 29:03Speaker 2: would think, just to get my phone number set correctly.
- 29:07Speaker 2: So my life will be back in order, hopefully sometime
- 29:10Speaker 2: next month at this rate. So I just just because
- 29:14Speaker 2: of I personally am feeling that particular pain, I empathized
- 29:18Speaker 2: with her quite a bit, So I picked that one.
- 29:21Speaker 2: But to be fair, I didn't I didn't really recognize
- 29:24Speaker 2: how traumatizing the event had been for the cat.
- 29:27Speaker 4: Yeah, until I just read.
- 29:29Speaker 1: This like two weeks ago too. Yeah, And I'm just
- 29:32Speaker 1: like fucking not even about this story, just about the
- 29:35Speaker 1: fact of transporting a cat like yeah.
- 29:37Speaker 4: And and honestly, the cardboard cut out thing for the sunfish,
- 29:40Speaker 4: it was a happy ending. It was it was it
- 29:42Speaker 4: was it was an issue. It was it was an
- 29:44Speaker 4: issue that the zoo keepers or the requires all like
- 29:47Speaker 4: saw and fixed right away.
- 29:48Speaker 2: All three of these have unquote resolved. But it's the
- 29:52Speaker 2: second one that has slightly more permanent effects, and the
- 29:56Speaker 2: third one requires a serious amount of work to get
- 29:59Speaker 2: back to the secon.
- 30:00Speaker 4: The one has more personal effects. I think the.
- 30:05Speaker 2: Third one was more personal to me. So I'm gonna
- 30:07Speaker 2: do something I've never done before. I'm gonna give you
- 30:09Speaker 2: both a point because i I'm gonna say they're both
- 30:12Speaker 2: the worst stories because honestly, honestly, it didn't really occur
- 30:16Speaker 2: to me until we were reading that story. Just now,
- 30:18Speaker 2: just how fucked up that. I mean. I'm glad she's
- 30:22Speaker 2: homesafe and happy and she's hopefully recovering and she'll become
- 30:25Speaker 2: her regular aloof self.
- 30:27Speaker 4: So sure that being said, behavior changes and animals like
- 30:32Speaker 4: drastic like behavior changes that can happen, but it's all
- 30:38Speaker 4: the parameters are there, Like it makes all the sense
- 30:42Speaker 4: that this was the cat. That cat is now super
- 30:48Speaker 4: affectionate and is getting all the love and care it
- 30:51Speaker 4: wants from its human. But that cat will never want
- 30:55Speaker 4: to go another sealed container like that ever again, because
- 30:59Speaker 4: it will literally have a fucking heart attack.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Can you can you imagine from the time being put
- 31:06Speaker 2: in that thing?
- 31:07Speaker 4: Imagine for fourth time, fifth, sixth thankfully didn't come to that.
- 31:13Speaker 2: Yeah, anyway, Yes, that's game one. Both of our players
- 31:17Speaker 2: have one point, so yes we're all tied up, but
- 31:20Speaker 2: somebody's going to take the lead when we play game two,
- 31:22Speaker 2: which is coming up right after this.
- 31:32Speaker 6: Hey, this is Russ, This is.

- 32:23Speaker 2: we get to our next game. We've got some stuff.
- 32:26Speaker 2: We got stuff, we got stuff we.
- 32:28Speaker 1: Have we have a voicemail, we have a voice message's
- 32:30Speaker 1: not from one of us, and we got something else
- 32:33Speaker 1: again it's not from one of us. Okay, good, so yeah,
- 32:36Speaker 1: I hit up the voice message first. It's forty six
- 32:38Speaker 1: seconds long. Okay, I didn't listen to it, of course
- 32:42Speaker 1: you didn't, So here we go.
- 32:44Speaker 7: Hey b f YDW, guys, this is two f Jeff
- 32:49Speaker 7: listening to show two fifty one. And then I had
- 32:52Speaker 7: to stop for a second because this question about the
- 32:56Speaker 7: Spider Man at the dumpster fire Augie or be any
- 33:00Speaker 7: of you? Have you guys not been watching The Boys?
- 33:05Speaker 7: Oh no way no. I mean if you don't.
- 33:10Speaker 2: Like Gore, it would be way too watch the Boys.
- 33:14Speaker 7: But if you would like and anatomic the accurate Spider Man.
- 33:19Speaker 4: Oh god, I.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Love you, guys, Oh my god, thank you to fucking
- 33:32Speaker 1: for sure, I do watch the Boys. When he said that,
- 33:35Speaker 1: I was like, I didn't think about because I know
- 33:37Speaker 1: Aaron definitely doesn't because the gore thing you you can't
- 33:40Speaker 1: handle the gore realistic with you, Aggie.
- 33:44Speaker 4: It's some of the raunchy stuffs a little too, like
- 33:46Speaker 4: it kind of pulls me out of it. I'm just like, okay, right,
- 33:49Speaker 4: that's a little ridiculous.
- 33:50Speaker 1: And I don't want to spoil anything. But yes, they're
- 33:53Speaker 1: one of the one of the super powered characters. Amatomically
- 33:58Speaker 1: collecting choot.
- 33:59Speaker 4: Webs, atomically correct.
- 34:01Speaker 1: Yeah, from it. Yeah, a different area.
- 34:03Speaker 4: That character is kind of if you know how spiders work,
- 34:06Speaker 4: you know which area.
- 34:07Speaker 1: Yeah, and that character is fucked It's I don't want
- 34:10Speaker 1: to get into it. It's fucked up. But yeah, I
- 34:12Speaker 1: enjoyed this show very much too.
- 34:13Speaker 4: Maybe maybe one day I'll just be like fuck it
- 34:17Speaker 4: and just watch it.
- 34:17Speaker 3: Anyways.
- 34:18Speaker 1: Yeah, you could go for it, dude, just be like.
- 34:20Speaker 4: Just be discussed the entire time. Oh oh that's cool.
- 34:25Speaker 3: Ah.
- 34:26Speaker 1: I was like, just cut out the sex shit, that's all.
- 34:27Speaker 2: I have no room in my entertainment for anything that
- 34:32Speaker 2: isn't joy also not joyful interested, Like if it's not
- 34:39Speaker 2: gonna be funny or fun and.
- 34:40Speaker 1: You're an adult. You don't need to put yourself through
- 34:42Speaker 1: that ship if you don't want to.
- 34:43Speaker 2: I've seen and read just about every dark story that
- 34:46Speaker 2: you could probably imagine. There's probably people could probably go
- 34:49Speaker 2: further and make it worse, but I have no interest
- 34:51Speaker 2: in that.
- 34:52Speaker 1: So yeah, there's no need for it. You don't need
- 34:53Speaker 1: that shock.
- 34:54Speaker 4: And honestly, I had my Philip Gore through the Saw series,
- 34:58Speaker 4: Jesus Christ, I wouldn't.
- 34:59Speaker 1: Want the ones. Yeah and then.
- 35:04Speaker 2: Oh my god, yeah, no, thank you's.
- 35:06Speaker 5: I still haven't watched I still haven't watched Tusk.
- 35:10Speaker 2: I really Tusk. I could handle Tusk was fine because.
- 35:14Speaker 1: He doesn't really show well, no, he doesn't show anything.
- 35:17Speaker 2: No. The worst the worst part is the body modification.
- 35:20Speaker 2: But it's not like Super.
- 35:22Speaker 4: You know, is like one of the only horror tropes
- 35:25Speaker 4: that actually bothers me a little bit, and so like
- 35:27Speaker 4: anything to do with like body modification starts to kind
- 35:30Speaker 4: of bother me a little bit.
- 35:32Speaker 1: I get it.
- 35:32Speaker 2: I get okay, well, I understand if I can handle it.
- 35:38Speaker 2: I feel like you can handle it.
- 35:39Speaker 1: But just is nothing that any of the other ones
- 35:42Speaker 1: at all, Like none of them like again, I'm fucked up.
- 35:45Speaker 1: So I watched all that ship and yeah, I don't know.
- 35:49Speaker 1: Let's get off of that so we don't need to
- 35:52Speaker 1: talk about my mental problems here. Let's get into our
- 35:56Speaker 1: one email we got, which is very good and happy.
- 35:59Speaker 2: Yeah, we've made number one in the top one hundred
- 36:02Speaker 2: indie games monthly yet again for good Pods. We are
- 36:06Speaker 2: just crushing the indie games category over and over again.
- 36:09Speaker 1: It's freaking awesome.
- 36:10Speaker 2: Man. That's awesome.
- 36:11Speaker 1: Man, it's nice like getting that every DoD. It's just
- 36:13Speaker 1: that little like, oh cool shit like thanks good pods man,
- 36:16Speaker 1: we appreciate that shit like pods and odd pods. Man,
- 36:20Speaker 1: the pods are together. I love this.
- 36:22Speaker 2: Sh No, it's very cool. Yeah, definitely very cool. All right,
- 36:26Speaker 2: so let's get into game number two. Shall let's do it.
- 36:31Speaker 2: Game number two is going to be Pop Culture Fight Club.
- 36:34Speaker 2: I haven't done this one in a minute. So this
- 36:38Speaker 2: was a game donated to us by Colin Max. Thank
- 36:41Speaker 2: you Colin. Yes, and it's very simple. I'm going to
- 36:45Speaker 2: ask our players a quote unquote tough question. They'll have
- 36:49Speaker 2: to answer it and defend their position as best they can.
- 36:54Speaker 2: So I'll ask you for the best something or your
- 36:56Speaker 2: favorite something from the world of pop culture. And all
- 36:59Speaker 2: you have to do is answer that question and then
- 37:02Speaker 2: explain and defend yourself as best you can. Okay, the
- 37:05Speaker 2: best answer, as judged by me will get two episode
- 37:07Speaker 2: points and take the lead in this game and this week.
- 37:10Speaker 2: I want to know, and it's a very simple question.
- 37:12Speaker 2: What is your favorite video game soundtrack?
- 37:15Speaker 6: And why.
- 37:18Speaker 1: I love it? Hate you right now?
- 37:19Speaker 2: Favorite video game soundtrack not necessarily the best. I'm not
- 37:23Speaker 2: saying that this is the end all and be all,
- 37:25Speaker 2: but what is your favorite what video game soundtrack do
- 37:28Speaker 2: you love more than anything else?
- 37:30Speaker 4: Damn dude, come on.
- 37:32Speaker 2: This is.
- 37:34Speaker 4: Like there are games that mechanically are shit but have
- 37:38Speaker 4: like some amazing soundtracks out there, and it's like, how
- 37:43Speaker 4: can you choose one?
- 37:44Speaker 2: And there are games that are phenomenal and their soundtracks are.
- 37:47Speaker 4: Utterly oh yeah, garbage or non existent.
- 37:50Speaker 2: Utterly forgettable, like they fit in the background, they don't
- 37:54Speaker 2: grave up your attention, just to ambience.
- 37:56Speaker 4: Yeah, basically just something playing in the background while you
- 37:59Speaker 4: do the rest.
- 38:00Speaker 2: Of the ship.
- 38:00Speaker 4: But like, yeah, but choosing a good because it's it's
- 38:06Speaker 4: so difficult subjective and then also it's not I mean,
- 38:10Speaker 4: it is, but it's it, but it's also like it's objective.
- 38:18Speaker 4: I'm subjective.
- 38:18Speaker 2: I don't know how difficult you both are having this
- 38:23Speaker 2: considering considering. I know mine right now could spend a.
- 38:26Speaker 4: Good I'm bouncing between three.
- 38:28Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, okay, but.
- 38:31Speaker 2: The good news is Stevie went first last time. So
- 38:34Speaker 2: I'm gonna give you the choice even though you're tied
- 38:37Speaker 2: because you didn't get to choose last game. This game,
- 38:39Speaker 2: you get to choose. Would you like to go first
- 38:42Speaker 2: or would you like to make Stevie go first? I
- 38:45Speaker 2: can go first. Okay, you got it? You know which
- 38:48Speaker 2: you which the three you're gonna go with?
- 38:49Speaker 4: Yeah, I flipped a three way coin.
- 38:51Speaker 2: And you can. You can tell me what your runners
- 38:54Speaker 2: up are, Okay, just for funds, but I want you
- 38:56Speaker 2: to pick one and stick with it.
- 38:57Speaker 4: Okay, can I tell your runners up first?
- 38:59Speaker 2: Sure, let's see the runners up for some more fun
- 39:01Speaker 2: leading to it.
- 39:02Speaker 4: It goes company a Heroes and Third hero soundtrack. If
- 39:07Speaker 4: you ever just listen to the main theme.
- 39:09Speaker 1: Song, it is.
- 39:10Speaker 4: It is basically the encompassing, like just the bravado and
- 39:17Speaker 4: just the the heavy feel orchestra feel of it makes
- 39:21Speaker 4: you get like Company Heroes. If anyone doesn't know, is
- 39:25Speaker 4: a game RTS game that's based about art World War two?
- 39:29Speaker 2: And is it like an orchestral sound orchestra?
- 39:32Speaker 4: Yes, in fact, you might see a theme here.
- 39:35Speaker 2: Yeah. I was gonna say one of those games that
- 39:37Speaker 2: I would describe as gameplay forgettable, but the music is incredible.
- 39:41Speaker 2: Total Annihilation from back in the day also also had
- 39:45Speaker 2: a full orchestral sound and it's incredible.
- 39:49Speaker 4: Absolutely, But yeah, but it's it's just great because it
- 39:53Speaker 4: gets that good like pumped feeling.
- 39:56Speaker 2: It feels like an epics.
- 39:57Speaker 4: Yeah, like this is this is this is war. The
- 40:01Speaker 4: follow up to that is and this was a tie
- 40:07Speaker 4: with first for a while, uh near Automata, Okay, near Amada.
- 40:14Speaker 4: The music in that is just it's beautiful.
- 40:17Speaker 2: I've heard about the fucking beautiful.
- 40:21Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 40:22Speaker 4: This this was the one that everybody just overly sexualizes
- 40:25Speaker 4: the character, the android that's the main character.
- 40:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:28Speaker 4: Yeah, but the soundtrack, but the gameplay is great, and
- 40:32Speaker 4: the soundtrack is awesome, just fucking awesome and beautiful. They're
- 40:37Speaker 4: just sitting around listening to it. But the one that
- 40:40Speaker 4: was tied with but I ended up choosing over the
- 40:43Speaker 4: uh over it is the soundtrack to Battlefield one.
- 40:48Speaker 8: Okay, I would say I would argue the soundtrack in
- 40:56Speaker 8: Battlefield one does not glorify World War to one in
- 41:00Speaker 8: any way, but very well conveys just the the overall
- 41:08Speaker 8: feeling of it.
- 41:09Speaker 4: It was, It's just huge thing. It is this huge epic.
- 41:13Speaker 4: Everybody is fighting, but no one is winning.
- 41:16Speaker 1: Yeah, fuck dude.
- 41:18Speaker 2: Interesting, Yeah, and it And I love the soundtrack. I
- 41:21Speaker 2: love that everybody's fighting but nobody's with Yeah, and.
- 41:24Speaker 4: The soundtrack, and that's such the main thing, like in
- 41:28Speaker 4: the game, as you're as you're fighting, as you're playing,
- 41:30Speaker 4: stuff like that, it goes so well and it just
- 41:33Speaker 4: plays so well in the background that like simple infantry
- 41:36Speaker 4: charges with other players can just look and feel and
- 41:40Speaker 4: sound as epic as like you, like you're fucking there
- 41:44Speaker 4: and yeah, and it just it draws you in and
- 41:47Speaker 4: keeps you there and gets you in that immersive mindset
- 41:50Speaker 4: of like, oh wow, this is just crazy, like everything's happening.
- 41:55Speaker 4: They're like there's pressure, but there's no pressure.
- 42:00Speaker 2: Excellent, excellent, All right, Uh, Stevie, you've got to follow that.
- 42:06Speaker 1: I keep adding more to my fucking list. Older.
- 42:12Speaker 2: I mean, like this is a rabbit hole this is
- 42:14Speaker 2: a rabbit hole I could explore for hours upon hours.
- 42:16Speaker 1: I know I could give you like.
- 42:20Speaker 2: So many soundtracks that I could I could wax lyrical about.
- 42:24Speaker 2: It's just the list is endless, but.
- 42:25Speaker 1: It really is all right.
- 42:27Speaker 2: I mean, I've had my favorite nailed down for years.
- 42:30Speaker 4: Those are just those three were just recent in my memory.
- 42:33Speaker 4: Like if any other game that had great soundtrack, I'm sure.
- 42:36Speaker 1: I'd be choosing that right, yeah, exactly. So, Like here's
- 42:39Speaker 1: where I'm going with this. I'm going to give you
- 42:41Speaker 1: a couple of my like runner ups right now because
- 42:44Speaker 1: the way they just affected me in my life growing
- 42:47Speaker 1: up again into age of video games and ship Yeah,
- 42:50Speaker 1: Tetris for one, that's a song embedded and everybody's.
- 42:58Speaker 2: If I see Tetris box, I hear that song every time,
- 43:03Speaker 2: every time, every time, without failing.
- 43:05Speaker 3: Yes.
- 43:06Speaker 1: The other one are the Mega Man songs, songs from
- 43:10Speaker 1: all the megamuts. Every level had its own fucking sound
- 43:13Speaker 1: like it was great and you you got the vibe
- 43:16Speaker 1: of that level from that music, knowing at the end
- 43:18Speaker 1: of it, it's like this is exactly what GutsMan level
- 43:20Speaker 1: would be and like that, like it's fucking insane.
- 43:24Speaker 2: Which which one is your favorite, because I know which
- 43:26Speaker 2: one is mine for sure.
- 43:28Speaker 1: I want to say for gameplays two. For music, it's
- 43:33Speaker 1: struck between one and three.
- 43:36Speaker 2: That's interesting because I would have I would have said
- 43:38Speaker 2: for music, like two is just iconic. I mean, are
- 43:43Speaker 2: so utterly iconic that I just can't I can't envision
- 43:47Speaker 2: even any other Mega Man taking over from from two,
- 43:52Speaker 2: because I I can still again if I see the
- 43:55Speaker 2: platforms from the Airman stage, Oh my god, I hear it.
- 43:59Speaker 2: I hear seventh hop Yeah, fuck exactly, Okay.
- 44:03Speaker 1: And then the other runner up i'd have to say
- 44:06Speaker 1: is the Golden Eye Games from N sixty four because
- 44:08Speaker 1: when that came out. Yeah, I have a huge sauce
- 44:12Speaker 1: spot for the James Bond stuff. My father and I
- 44:15Speaker 1: T and T when we were kids. They'd have the
- 44:17Speaker 1: James Bond run for like a week and a half straight.
- 44:19Speaker 1: Every James bot That was the one time my dad
- 44:21Speaker 1: was actually home for shit like that, Like he made
- 44:24Speaker 1: sure he's on the right shift. We'd sit down because
- 44:27Speaker 1: I had one TV in the living room, yeah, and
- 44:29Speaker 1: we'd sit in the living room. We watched James Bond
- 44:31Speaker 1: like it was one. We vibed about it so when
- 44:33Speaker 1: when he got me that N sixty four for Christmas,
- 44:36Speaker 1: we got the Mario and then when Golden Eye came
- 44:38Speaker 1: out later, like he would be down in the living
- 44:41Speaker 1: room watching me play GoldenEye with him and be impressed,
- 44:44Speaker 1: like this.
- 44:45Speaker 2: Looks just like them.
- 44:46Speaker 1: It's it's fucking crazy. Like then it looked like them,
- 44:50Speaker 1: you know, like you look at it now it's blocky
- 44:52Speaker 1: as shit.
- 44:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:52Speaker 1: So the music on that was epic, very cool. Here's
- 44:56Speaker 1: where I'm stuck, okay, and it's between two that everybody
- 44:59Speaker 1: knows and probably knows. I know the Zelda games and
- 45:04Speaker 1: I'm talking to the originals. Yes, I like orc Arena
- 45:06Speaker 1: of Time and Ship, which is great. He has his
- 45:08Speaker 1: own good soundtrack, but that fucking fairy pissed me off.
- 45:12Speaker 1: So I want to say the one two soundtracks all
- 45:14Speaker 1: kind of as a collection, and then of course the
- 45:17Speaker 1: original Doom one and two. So and I'm gonna I'm
- 45:21Speaker 1: gonna have the trouble with Doom. I hate. Yeah, I
- 45:24Speaker 1: just have to because the metal in that game, and
- 45:29Speaker 1: every single level has its own.
- 45:32Speaker 2: It's not a guitarist, but it is metal.
- 45:35Speaker 1: It's like you can raise demonic death and again you
- 45:38Speaker 1: can go well, like.
- 45:39Speaker 2: Yeah, and it absolutely jes it is perfect for that game. Yes,
- 45:43Speaker 2: literally perfect.
- 45:44Speaker 1: And I like I had all I was like, let's
- 45:47Speaker 1: listen to this one. It was like episode It's like.
- 45:50Speaker 4: It was Doomed too.
- 45:51Speaker 1: It was like, oh god, I think it was like
- 45:53Speaker 1: the first it was. I was like, but it just
- 45:57Speaker 1: just started playing instantly. I wanted to start playing the
- 46:00Speaker 1: video game. And I'm just like, oh fuck man. And
- 46:03Speaker 1: and Doom has evolved. The soundtrack of Doom has evolved
- 46:07Speaker 1: so much throughout the years with all the newer renditions,
- 46:10Speaker 1: but it still has that original like backing in the
- 46:15Speaker 1: and the base of the actual like all the songs.
- 46:19Speaker 1: Even though it's changed, it's still there. Man, It's all
- 46:23Speaker 1: still fucking there. And I love it. I always go
- 46:26Speaker 1: back to.
- 46:26Speaker 2: You know what's funny is I remember a mod that
- 46:29Speaker 2: I absolutely loved tomb I picked up and it was
- 46:32Speaker 2: it was literally just replacing all the music with MIDI
- 46:36Speaker 2: versions of Metallica songs and when you're at the when
- 46:40Speaker 2: you're at like the boss level, yeah, and one kicks in.
- 46:45Speaker 1: Oh fuck.
- 46:51Speaker 2: So perfect. Yeah, it fit in so well because the
- 46:56Speaker 2: original music was metal, so naturally.
- 46:59Speaker 1: The whole team it.
- 47:00Speaker 2: But I mean it was. It was genuinely incredible, and
- 47:04Speaker 2: you guys have really made this very very hard.
- 47:06Speaker 1: I'm sorry.
- 47:06Speaker 9: Man.
- 47:09Speaker 2: If I had to pick based solely on the choice,
- 47:14Speaker 2: it would it would go to Stevie. But I also
- 47:17Speaker 2: have to because because the nature of the game, I
- 47:19Speaker 2: also have to include how you sold it and Augie,
- 47:22Speaker 2: like literally he took me there when he was describing
- 47:27Speaker 2: that the music isn't glorifying the war.
- 47:30Speaker 4: But it's everybody's fighting.
- 47:31Speaker 2: But that's just that line alone, was like, that makes
- 47:36Speaker 2: me understand what this sounds like. Even though I haven't
- 47:39Speaker 2: played the game. I never have, but but you make
- 47:43Speaker 2: me want to listen to it, which is incredible for
- 47:47Speaker 2: a game that I've never touched. Is like, now I
- 47:49Speaker 2: want to play it because it sounds like the soundtrack
- 47:52Speaker 2: is utterly haunting. It is, and it's.
- 47:55Speaker 4: Why it's wildly I think it's one of the reasons
- 47:57Speaker 4: why it's still considered one of the best games in
- 47:59Speaker 4: the series. It's just the ambience and the sound there.
- 48:02Speaker 1: I'll give you that, it's definitely there.
- 48:04Speaker 2: So I I have to give Aggie the point on
- 48:07Speaker 2: this one. Stevie. Stevie picked the better choice in my
- 48:12Speaker 2: opinion at least maybe after I listened to Battlefield one,
- 48:15Speaker 2: I might change my mind, but but sebe this is garbage. Stevie. Everybody, yeah,
- 48:24Speaker 2: made the best choice, but Augie sold his.
- 48:26Speaker 1: That's fair.
- 48:27Speaker 2: I'm totally giving it in this one. So that's two
- 48:30Speaker 2: points to this is this is this is garbage three
- 48:34Speaker 2: points to three points to one in favor of but
- 48:37Speaker 2: Steve Stevie. Stevie can still win.
- 48:39Speaker 4: The game is Skippy Toilet. The whole sound track, just
- 48:45Speaker 4: Skimmity Toilet.
- 48:46Speaker 1: Comes on the next next episode of by g W
- 48:49Speaker 1: and just apologize.
- 48:50Speaker 4: I am so sorry the audience.
- 48:55Speaker 2: I apologizing for ship choice I'll give I'm sticking by it.
- 49:01Speaker 2: I don't care.
- 49:03Speaker 4: I like first, I'm like, maybe I should change my
- 49:06Speaker 4: third runner up because its like as you were talking to,
- 49:09Speaker 4: like the old like Mega Man games like that started
- 49:11Speaker 4: my mind started going back to like the older games too,
- 49:13Speaker 4: And the first thing that came to mind, I'm like, man,
- 49:15Speaker 4: can I change my third runner up to uh fucking Conquers,
- 49:18Speaker 4: Bad fer Day.
- 49:23Speaker 1: Fucking earth Room Gym? Alright, Rescue Rangers bit.
- 49:33Speaker 2: The same. I'm gonna I'm just gonna jump in real quick.
- 49:37Speaker 2: My favorite soundtrack of all time is. The Headhunter soundtrack
- 49:41Speaker 2: is a game for PlayStation two and Dreamcast. I've talked
- 49:44Speaker 2: about it before. It is also fully orchestral, but it
- 49:47Speaker 2: is is. It is utterly over the top and bombastic,
- 49:52Speaker 2: and that's the reason I love it so much, because
- 49:53Speaker 2: it literally gets my adrenaline flowing so hard. And it's
- 49:57Speaker 2: one of the few soundtracks that I listened to outside
- 49:59Speaker 2: of the game. I actually bought the soundtrack to that
- 50:02Speaker 2: end the sequel. They're both good, but the original is
- 50:04Speaker 2: better and and I just literally listened to it in
- 50:08Speaker 2: my car, which I can only say about a few
- 50:10Speaker 2: video games like that, one the dangan rope A soundtrack,
- 50:14Speaker 2: and listened to that to you know, stuff like that
- 50:16Speaker 2: I had. I bought the Final Fantasy seven soundtrack on
- 50:19Speaker 2: CD when I when I was that was in fucking college,
- 50:22Speaker 2: got it imported from Japan, like went nuts too. I'd
- 50:26Speaker 2: love that game and get here. I enjoyed that soundtrack
- 50:30Speaker 2: so much I wanted to listen to it, And same
- 50:31Speaker 2: thing with Final Fantasy eight.
- 50:33Speaker 1: But that's fair.
- 50:34Speaker 4: Yeah, any of the finals.
- 50:36Speaker 2: A lot of Fantasy music is incredible.
- 50:39Speaker 4: That seemed like that seemed like the nuclear option in
- 50:41Speaker 4: my eyes, and Fantasy always had great music always.
- 50:44Speaker 1: I never played, but I heard it's like that the visual.
- 50:47Speaker 4: Final Fantasy seven, Final Fantasy eight music like I N
- 50:52Speaker 4: nine had an incredible nine soundtrack. What they changed my
- 50:56Speaker 4: answer again.
- 50:57Speaker 2: What they did with the PlayStation sound chip, with the
- 51:00Speaker 2: Red Book audio. Absolutely incredible, God, absolutely incredible. Anyway, we're
- 51:07Speaker 2: just relaxing lyrical at this point. Game's long over. Augie
- 51:11Speaker 2: won points to one in Augie's favor, so anybody can win.
- 51:15Speaker 2: Our third and final game is worth three points, and
- 51:18Speaker 2: we're gonna play it right after this. Hey man, welcome back.
- 52:17Speaker 2: It's time for game three. It's gonna decide it all cool,
- 52:20Speaker 2: and for game three, we're playing the rules of the game.
- 52:24Speaker 2: You guys know how to play, right, No? No, all right,
- 52:29Speaker 2: well that's just the fact of the matter. You're gonna
- 52:32Speaker 2: play without knowing how to play it. It's sometimes you're
- 52:36Speaker 2: allowed to guess the rules this time and we're simply
- 52:38Speaker 2: going to play until the end. Whichever player has the
- 52:39Speaker 2: most points wins, so no guessing. Sad to say, Stevie,
- 52:45Speaker 2: you lost the last game. So you have the choice,
- 52:47Speaker 2: do you want to go first or do you want
- 52:48Speaker 2: to make AUGI go first?
- 52:49Speaker 1: Make first?
- 52:50Speaker 2: Okay, that's probably a wise move. Oh shit, Why all right, ogie,
- 52:56Speaker 2: would you do me a favor. Choose an Egyptian hieroglyph.
- 53:00Speaker 2: You can have two reads Lion twisted flax, horned viper
- 53:06Speaker 2: water or the Eye of Horace, the Eye of Horus,
- 53:10Speaker 2: the Eye of horas it is ogi. When the time starts,
- 53:14Speaker 2: I'm going to give you some clues if you'd like
- 53:17Speaker 2: to answer, don't start now.
- 53:20Speaker 4: Sorry I have missed your promise.
- 53:24Speaker 2: I'm going to give you a list of clues. If
- 53:26Speaker 2: you want to answer on the first clue, it'll be
- 53:28Speaker 2: worth five points, second clue three points, third clue two points,
- 53:32Speaker 2: and if you need all four clues, it'll be one point.
- 53:35Speaker 2: You'll have until the time runs out, which is approximately
- 53:38Speaker 2: forty seconds to buzz in by shouting your name. If
- 53:41Speaker 2: you want an additional clue, say next and I'll move
- 53:43Speaker 2: on to the next and give you another clue. But
- 53:45Speaker 2: as you know, the points go down, so just be
- 53:48Speaker 2: aware of that. Here, I'll give you your first clue,
- 53:53Speaker 2: and then i'll say your time starts now, and then
- 53:55Speaker 2: you start the music. Good stee, Augie. Your first clue
- 53:58Speaker 2: for five points. True Crime Streets of l A Your
- 54:02Speaker 2: time starts now next for three points, Privateer Too, The
- 54:11Speaker 2: Darkening next for two points. True Crime, New York City.
- 54:24Speaker 4: I feel like I'm missing some information.
- 54:28Speaker 1: Right, I don't know what either do. Don't even look
- 54:31Speaker 1: at me.
- 54:33Speaker 4: On l A P D N Y P D l
- 54:37Speaker 4: M L.
- 54:38Speaker 2: Left, running out of time. That's time. You didn't even
- 54:43Speaker 2: get your fourth clue, which would have been Ripper still
- 54:47Speaker 2: went of help. Well, I'm gonna throw it over to Stevie.
- 54:50Speaker 2: To Steele for one point, Stevie, do you have any idea?
- 54:55Speaker 2: C s I No, these are all video gameseaturing Christopher Walking.
- 55:02Speaker 1: Oh shoot, nope, yeah, okay, nope.
- 55:08Speaker 2: So no point there. Back over to Stevie's so fast, Stevie,
- 55:15Speaker 2: please choose a remaining Egyptian hieroglyph. You have two reads,
- 55:19Speaker 2: the lion, twisted flax, corned viper or water.
- 55:22Speaker 1: Let's go with water.
- 55:23Speaker 2: Please Water. It is okay, Stevie, here's your first clue
- 55:32Speaker 2: for five points. Levi Morton. Your time starts now for
- 55:38Speaker 2: three points. Thomas Jefferson for two points, Kamala Harris Steve
- 55:54Speaker 2: buzzing in.
- 55:56Speaker 1: Our diesel Vice presidents.
- 55:58Speaker 2: They are all vice presidents for two points, and the
- 56:02Speaker 2: music now Well done. Thank you. Two points for Stevie.
- 56:05Speaker 2: The last clue would have been jd Vance.
- 56:07Speaker 1: Okay, so fair, okay, but yeah, Vice.
- 56:11Speaker 2: Presidents of the U s A. Two points, well.
- 56:12Speaker 1: Done, okay, thank you.
- 56:13Speaker 2: All right, Aggie, your return. You have the two reads
- 56:17Speaker 2: the Lion, the twisted flax, or the horned Viper.
- 56:19Speaker 3: Left.
- 56:19Speaker 4: I'll do the two reads, two reads.
- 56:22Speaker 2: All right, Oggie for five points. World War two. Your
- 56:28Speaker 2: time starts now, saving prior Ryan, your answer doesn't count.
- 56:39Speaker 2: Next for three points, United Offensive.
- 56:49Speaker 1: Sorry I hit the wrong letter in my head.
- 56:51Speaker 3: Oh.
- 56:52Speaker 2: Next for two points, Big Red one.
- 56:57Speaker 6: Big Red one.
- 56:59Speaker 4: I feel like I should know this.
- 57:02Speaker 2: Still another clue. Next for one point, Black Ops. Two
- 57:11Speaker 2: times up Stevie for a bonus point, can you steal?
- 57:15Speaker 1: Maybe? Are these all fbs's.
- 57:18Speaker 2: For a steal? I need a little bit more than that.
- 57:21Speaker 2: These are all call of duty spinoffs. Call of duty
- 57:24Speaker 2: World War two, call of duty, United Defensive, call of duty,
- 57:26Speaker 2: Big Red one, call of duty, Black Ops. We were
- 57:29Speaker 2: literally just talking, I.
- 57:31Speaker 4: Know, but in my mind they're not spinoffs. They're just
- 57:33Speaker 4: another iteration.
- 57:35Speaker 2: You literally could have just said call of duty and
- 57:37Speaker 2: I would have given it to you. But anyway, no
- 57:41Speaker 2: such luck. All right, So that is the two reads gone, Stevie.
- 57:45Speaker 2: That leaves you the lion, the twisted flax, and the
- 57:47Speaker 2: horned viper.
- 57:49Speaker 1: I are the lion sound like a pirate?
- 57:52Speaker 2: You're going the lion? Okay?
- 57:55Speaker 5: Uh?
- 57:56Speaker 2: For five points? Your first clue, Nicholas Hammond, Your time starts.
- 58:01Speaker 1: Now I know where he's from, so I'll go next.
- 58:06Speaker 2: For three points. Toby McGuire, Oh, okay, next for two points.
- 58:15Speaker 10: Andrew Garfield, but the first one, the last one.
- 58:25Speaker 1: I have to know what the next.
- 58:26Speaker 2: For one point, Tom holland.
- 58:29Speaker 1: Steve Are these all Spider Man's.
- 58:32Speaker 2: They're all Spider Man actors. These are all actors who
- 58:35Speaker 2: played Spider Man in live action?
- 58:37Speaker 1: Oh no, because the first guy had me confused.
- 58:40Speaker 2: The first guy is from like a nineteen eighties television shot.
- 58:44Speaker 4: So after once you said, Toby maguire, I'm like, yeah.
- 58:49Speaker 1: I wanted to, but I'm like, maybe he's throwing me
- 58:51Speaker 1: a curveball.
- 58:52Speaker 2: That's okay. Stevie gets one point off of it. Oh,
- 58:55Speaker 2: you gotta get on the board. Man. You can have
- 58:58Speaker 2: twisted flax, so you can have horned viper, horned viper,
- 59:01Speaker 2: horny viper. It is Oh, I wish you luck with
- 59:04Speaker 2: this one.
- 59:06Speaker 4: So much for getting on the board.
- 59:07Speaker 2: Yes, oh, maybe we'll see Aggie for five points. The
- 59:12Speaker 2: clue is episode eighty one, start the clock, next for
- 59:18Speaker 2: three points, Episode ninety nine, next for two points, Episode
- 59:23Speaker 2: one fourteen for one point, Episode two hundred.
- 59:29Speaker 9: Uh, all, Augie, all numbers in order, like what the fuzzer?
- 59:41Speaker 4: Episode one hundred? Yeah, good context there, guy.
- 59:46Speaker 2: You can stop the clock. Stevie, you can steal for
- 59:50Speaker 2: one point if you think you might know what it is?
- 59:52Speaker 1: Right, sure, Steve? Are these all episode numbers of b
- 59:57Speaker 1: F y tw.
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: I need a little bit more than that for a steal.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: Augie was in.
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: Technically correct, technically correct, but not what I'm looking for.
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: What specifically pulls these episodes out is that they are
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: BFYTTW episodes where we played the list.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: Oh shit.
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: Episode eighty one was the Ultra Hope Girls, Episode ninety
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: nine was with Lauren and John from Beard Out, Episode
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: one fourteen was Disorganized Monkeys, Defiant Monkey, and CJ for
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: Disorganized Joy, and episode two hundred obviously we had the
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: whole gang on. Oh yeah, and we played a bunch
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: of games on that episode, But definitely the last time
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: we played the list all right, so it just leaves
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: the twisted flax and Stevie your first clue for five points.
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: William Hartnell, your time starts now. The next for three points.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: Paul McGahn next for two points.
- 1:01:08Speaker 10: Christopher eccleston, I know that name, Ah.
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: Next for one point, David Tennant.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: Steve Stevie. Are these all doctors of the Who?
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: Yes? These are these are all actors who played Doctor
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: Who doctors of.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: I was like, I know, I know a couple of
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: these names. How do I know them? Matt Smith?
- 1:01:44Speaker 4: I'm sure? And so.
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: At this point, Stevie has four points and Augie has zero.
- 1:01:53Speaker 4: I wonder who won.
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: Well, we're gonna play round two. It's a shorter round.
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: You only have ion and water to choose from Augie, however,
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: you will get double points. However, things work differently this time.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: Instead of giving me the connection, I need to know
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: what comes fourth in the sequence. If you can give
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: me it on the first clue, you'll get ten points.
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: If you can give it to me on the second clue,
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: you'll get six points. If you can give it to
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: me on the third clue, you'll get four points. There
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: will be no fourth clue.
- 1:02:23Speaker 4: You have to b I tw is secretly a torture chamber.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: This is a social experiment.
- 1:02:31Speaker 4: It's a social experiment to see how long it takes
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: for me to go fucking crazy.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: Have yw is a five year social.
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: Which would you prefer the lion or the water? The whip?
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: The lion? Lion? It is all right? You remember this
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: is a sequence. Yeah, your first Your first clue is
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: spider Man for ten points. Your time starts now.
- 1:02:57Speaker 4: Uh ant Man it next, I guess.
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: For six points, Captain Citrus. Next for four points, Wolverine.
- 1:03:17Speaker 4: I don't have no next.
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: There is no next. You have to give me the
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: next hole.
- 1:03:23Speaker 4: Aggie Magneto, you can stop the clock.
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure this is wrong, but I have to
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: look this up just.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: To be safe.
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: Bo Okay, yeah, I'm gonna say no, that's incorrect. Stevie,
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: you can steal two points if you can tell me
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: what a good answer for the fourth and the sequence
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: would be.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: A blade.
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: Blade. I'm also going to say is wrong. Interesting choice?
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: Thank you?
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: Yeah, blade Captain Citrus so spider Man. Spider Man primarily
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: wears a red outfit. Captain Citrus is orange, Wolverine is yellow.
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: I wanted you to give me something green, to give
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: me a superhero or super villain who is primarily green.
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: I went with the Incredible Hulk. Everybody's see this is
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: pretty much just for pride now, but I'm gonna I'm
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: gonna give you the water. I dare ask your first
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: clue for ten points, see if you can get it.
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: For ten points. Your first clue lethal weapon. Your time
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: starts now, next for six points, back to the future,
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: next for four points. The Boondock Saints like three, you
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: have to give me the fourth.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: Oh Man, pulp fiction.
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: Is an acceptable answer. Do you have any idea? Why
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: is it?
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: Because of the time travel like in the story the
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: time changes like different scenes that different order.
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: And you no. The fact is you got it right
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: because you gave me the correct answer. Even if you
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: don't know why, it's a sequence, it is still a sequence.
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: So there are four lethal weapon movies. There are three back,
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: there are two Boondock Saints movies. All I needed you
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: to do is give me a movie that doesn't have
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: any sequeens. Nice and pulp fiction has never had another.
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: Movie that's so fucking crazy.
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: That is incredible work, sir, so at the end of
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: our game, of rules of the game, which is very
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: obviously based on only connect Uh. Stevie has eight points
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: and Aggie has nothing, which means Stevie wins, gets three
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: episode points and wins the episode.
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: That was a fun fucking around man.
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: For you somehow, So I made a mix of some easier,
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: some harder. Oggie took all the hard ones, all of them.
- 1:06:37Speaker 4: I feel like I wouldn't have gotten any of it
- 1:06:40Speaker 4: because the color one that was good genuinely pissed me off.
- 1:06:44Speaker 4: When are you ever seeing Captain Citrus?
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: But I feel like you could guess. Come on, you could.
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: Guess it's either eleven or alive.
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: He's either green or orange. I could have possibly gone
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: with the thing instead.
- 1:07:06Speaker 4: Or yellow, because you know limes are yellow.
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: I needed something specifically orange. There's not a lot of.
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: I like it. That's a hard game. I like that.
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: Shows anything else.
- 1:07:23Speaker 4: You could have chose tell tummy colors.
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: Nope, that's amazing.
- 1:07:31Speaker 4: Well, I tell you who's feeling tipsy.
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: I'm delighted to say Stevie has one. Uh, congratulations, sir,
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: well done. Enjoy your deep shame. I want to always
