- 1:29Speaker 3: Broke, Eating while Broke, and we're gonna have you in
- 1:31Speaker 3: the kitchen cooking. I don't know how often people call
- 1:35Speaker 3: you on shows and have you cook a throwback.
- 1:37Speaker 1: They don't even allow me to cook on stream for real.
- 1:41Speaker 1: I get I'm not a great cooker.
- 1:43Speaker 3: Were you gonna show them today how it was done?
- 1:45Speaker 2: Oh?
- 1:45Speaker 1: Yeah, this smell though? I got this?
- 1:47Speaker 3: You got this? What are you gonna have me eating today?
- 1:49Speaker 1: Okay? So I'm gonna have you eating pork and beans
- 1:52Speaker 1: with hot dogs. You gotta cut the hot dogs up,
- 1:55Speaker 1: put it into the pork and beans. You got to
- 1:56Speaker 1: add some butter in near, some pepper in he or
- 1:58Speaker 1: some sugar. Mix it all, you've got to have a
- 2:01Speaker 1: side of rice, or you don't have to have a
- 2:03Speaker 1: side of rice.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Do you decide to rice to balance like the sautiness
- 2:06Speaker 3: of it?
- 2:07Speaker 1: I feel like you do.
- 2:08Speaker 3: I honestly, I want to have it with rice. I've
- 2:09Speaker 3: never had it with.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Rice, or you could put it with bread. I like
- 2:16Speaker 1: the rice idea.
- 2:17Speaker 3: I like, all right, So get to cook in just
- 2:36Speaker 3: like that, Just just like that, you start. Okay, we
- 2:39Speaker 3: try to give you about ten minutes to cook because
- 2:41Speaker 3: I'm hungry.
- 2:42Speaker 1: You got this. I kind of struggle in the kitchen.
- 2:45Speaker 3: However, so that burner, that burner is to the right, yep,
- 2:49Speaker 3: and then the next the one right up above.
- 2:52Speaker 1: I should have given her this in the You got it? Alright?
- 2:58Speaker 3: Okay, so you're gonna do? So what are you doing?
- 2:59Speaker 1: First?
- 3:00Speaker 3: The hot dogs? You dump the can?
- 3:04Speaker 1: How to make I should start off with the hot dogs?
- 3:07Speaker 3: Oh no, I don't really, don't trust me. I've seen
- 3:11Speaker 3: people make this on the show at least four times.
- 3:14Speaker 3: Really well, this smell I know this meal country Wayne.
- 3:19Speaker 3: He did, but he complained because he's a vegan now
- 3:22Speaker 3: and so.
- 3:23Speaker 1: He very hard. He's so vegan. I literally hate it.
- 3:27Speaker 1: Do you know he had me eating, he had his
- 3:30Speaker 1: cook making a cheeseburger, but the burger was obviously vegan,
- 3:35Speaker 1: but the cheese was vegan. Could you taste the difference
- 3:38Speaker 1: in the cheese?
- 3:41Speaker 3: Now?
- 3:41Speaker 1: You know what?
- 3:42Speaker 3: The only thing I will say that annoys me about
- 3:43Speaker 3: him is the only thing is that he won't let you.
- 3:49Speaker 3: He had us by brand new pots because he said
- 3:52Speaker 3: that meat was cooked in it, and I was like, yo,
- 3:56Speaker 3: but I give him grace because he shot it with
- 3:59Speaker 3: us in antline was a trooper and then he had
- 4:01Speaker 3: to reshoot because we lost the files. You so, so
- 4:04Speaker 3: technically he could serve me. He could he he had
- 4:08Speaker 3: every right to make me work extra hard on those pots.
- 4:11Speaker 3: He was like, you kind of know you know that
- 4:13Speaker 3: I I can't have animal products cooked in the same
- 4:17Speaker 3: And I was just like, all right, it's only because
- 4:19Speaker 3: he fell care.
- 4:20Speaker 1: You want to know. That's a sad thing right there.
- 4:22Speaker 3: Yeah, But but I give grace because it was two episodes.
- 4:25Speaker 1: It was it was a two episode what I'm saying, So
- 4:27Speaker 1: shout out to him.
- 4:27Speaker 3: But anyways, we've had quite quite a few, quite quite
- 4:30Speaker 3: a few. But we're gonna see if your dish can
- 4:32Speaker 3: trump theirs.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Oh it can because I know, I know what I'm doing.
- 4:36Speaker 1: And when this start gonna making noise, like when it's gonna.
- 4:39Speaker 3: Start, do you have it up high?
- 4:44Speaker 1: Okay? Good? Yeah, you may need Maybe I wanted to
- 4:46Speaker 1: add something in there because if you really look like
- 4:49Speaker 1: you don't cook, don't do that. Look you really know
- 4:53Speaker 1: why I'm cutting the butty kind of crazy, but I'm
- 4:57Speaker 1: trying to make noise.
- 4:59Speaker 3: Yeah, it's electric. Be careful because it will eventually. I
- 5:02Speaker 3: don't I don't know if it's gonna make it. You
- 5:04Speaker 3: got to turn that fire up. It will it will, yeah,
- 5:06Speaker 3: it will. Sorry, Oh, we can make a whole bloop
- 5:10Speaker 3: of real with you cooking. I can see this going
- 5:12Speaker 3: very far.
- 5:14Speaker 1: I'm really matter of fact. You know how to make
- 5:17Speaker 1: hot dogs? They usually boil them. No, you know how
- 5:20Speaker 1: to make hot dogs.
- 5:22Speaker 3: They put a bunch of random stuff in a tube
- 5:25Speaker 3: and then you eat it, and then they say on
- 5:27Speaker 3: the disclaimer and we think it's pork, chicken, beef, a
- 5:31Speaker 3: bunch of blended stuff. What was the last time you
- 5:33Speaker 3: ate this dish?
- 5:40Speaker 1: That's a good sign. It had to be a while ago.
- 5:42Speaker 3: That's a good sign. So take me back to what
- 5:45Speaker 3: was going on during this pork and beans era.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Okay, during the pork and beans ever, I had to
- 5:50Speaker 1: be a little girl. I mean.
- 5:53Speaker 3: That's the system. Yes, Now I'm cooking, so in your
- 5:59Speaker 3: face you were so happy, right, Oh.
- 6:00Speaker 1: I'm so. I'm adding more because I love how it sounds.
- 6:03Speaker 1: I'm gonna add more. But during this ever, I was
- 6:06Speaker 1: definitely a little girl at home with mommy and daddy.
- 6:10Speaker 1: And this is very easy to make by yourself, obviously,
- 6:15Speaker 1: But listen, I grew up with my parents they making everything.
- 6:19Speaker 1: That's why I don't want to cook.
- 6:20Speaker 3: I was gonna say, did they teach you how to
- 6:22Speaker 3: make this dish? Was this the one dish they taught
- 6:23Speaker 3: you that you could cook? It doesn't sound like it
- 6:26Speaker 3: sounds like you were definitely getting your meals cooked.
- 6:29Speaker 1: I was definitely getting my meals kicked. I mean, it's
- 6:31Speaker 1: so easy. I don't really need them to teach me
- 6:35Speaker 1: because you have. You stand there in the kitchen, you
- 6:36Speaker 1: be like, oh, sho, was she putting the hot dogs
- 6:38Speaker 1: in the pan? I need to know how to put
- 6:40Speaker 1: the hot dogs in the pan?
- 6:41Speaker 3: So, as a kid, was this your favorite dish or something?
- 6:43Speaker 3: Is this why you picked this?
- 6:44Speaker 1: Well? This is one of my favorites. I have another
- 6:49Speaker 1: favorite as well, but this is one of my favorites
- 6:51Speaker 1: because it's it's just so savory and just so good.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Like the pork and beans. Juice is the best. I
- 6:58Speaker 1: just like the soupy. It's so good. You know what
- 7:02Speaker 1: you go also do? If you hook it up, you
- 7:04Speaker 1: could do like an actual hot dog, Like you could
- 7:07Speaker 1: add two meals together. You could do hot dog with
- 7:10Speaker 1: the ketchup and the mustard and then put this, make
- 7:13Speaker 1: the beans, and then you dip the hot dog in
- 7:15Speaker 1: the beans. Oh my god. Or you take the hot dog,
- 7:19Speaker 1: you put the beans, take the beans, put the beans
- 7:22Speaker 1: on top of the hot dog. Oh my god. I
- 7:25Speaker 1: should have told you about the bread.
- 7:27Speaker 3: Someone asked me to and I said, no, she has rice.
- 7:31Speaker 3: But you know what, it sounds like you get real
- 7:32Speaker 3: creative with this dish, like you have home with it. Okay,
- 7:35Speaker 3: So take me back to your household growing up, two
- 7:37Speaker 3: parent household. It sounds like, yes, two parents, parents, parents
- 7:41Speaker 3: stole together. Yes that's great.
- 7:43Speaker 1: I know people are always so like shocked, like your
- 7:47Speaker 1: parents are still together. I'm like, yeah, that means you
- 7:51Speaker 1: believe in love and all that. Now, absolutely, Actually I
- 7:53Speaker 1: love a girl.
- 7:54Speaker 3: I always believe in love, okay, with with the without,
- 7:59Speaker 3: so you don't hate if you're single, you don't be
- 8:01Speaker 3: like believing, n did it? You walk past couples like, yeah.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Totally had one boyfriend my whole life. You know, I'm
- 8:10Speaker 1: twenty five by the way. Okay, yeah you're a baby. Yeah,
- 8:13Speaker 1: so it's like.
- 8:15Speaker 3: Are you still with him?
- 8:17Speaker 1: No?
- 8:17Speaker 3: Okay, okay, Well see the parents influence hasn't hasn't The
- 8:23Speaker 3: real world hasn'tained you because of your.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Parents' influence probably exactly.
- 8:27Speaker 3: Okay, two parent household, middle class, upper class rich.
- 8:35Speaker 1: What's the middle? The middle? Middle? What's the middle?
- 8:40Speaker 3: Middle is?
- 8:41Speaker 1: Wow? This take me back to school.
- 8:44Speaker 3: Let me just tell you guys about middle class. Middle classes.
- 8:46Speaker 3: You pay for everything and you don't get any Hell
- 8:49Speaker 3: that's like there's no government assistance. There's no free medical
- 8:53Speaker 3: or anything.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Oh middle.
- 8:54Speaker 3: Yeah, so then you're middle. That means they paid the most. Unfortunately,
- 8:59Speaker 3: that's how it is, right because the rich can afford it,
- 9:02Speaker 3: and then the poor get help.
- 9:03Speaker 1: But the middle what the middle do?
- 9:06Speaker 3: The middle don't get nothing. They just stay working hard,
- 9:09Speaker 3: like both your parents had to work. Yeah, yeah, they
- 9:12Speaker 3: working hard.
- 9:12Speaker 1: They've been working all their lives I have a very
- 9:14Speaker 1: working household. So like, you know, as soon as it
- 9:19Speaker 1: was time for me to be able to get a job,
- 9:21Speaker 1: like no hesitation. Like even my little sister now she's eight,
- 9:24Speaker 1: have a little sisters who are eighteen.
- 9:25Speaker 3: I thought you want to say she's eight.
- 9:27Speaker 1: I was like, wait, already, she's eighteen. She don't play
- 9:33Speaker 1: no games. She already got two jobs.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Yeah, so you come from that that see. But that's
- 9:37Speaker 3: the thing about that middle class, So they you work
- 9:40Speaker 3: hard because you know there's gonna be nothing given too.
- 9:44Speaker 1: You're kind of used to that, right exactly.
- 9:45Speaker 3: But I like that you come from this hard work ethic.
- 9:47Speaker 3: What's one of your first jobs you had out the gate.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Well, I only had three, nine to five's my whole life,
- 9:53Speaker 1: So I'll just tell you all of them. The first
- 9:54Speaker 1: one was I was working in the supermarket at sixteen.
- 9:58Speaker 1: This was just a summer job for real. Once I
- 10:00Speaker 1: got back to school in high school, I stopped working.
- 10:05Speaker 1: And then after that I worked at Burlington. So this
- 10:09Speaker 1: was my college job. So I started there when I
- 10:11Speaker 1: was eighteen and I worked there for four years of college.
- 10:15Speaker 1: So through COVID and everything. Oh, it was so crazy
- 10:19Speaker 1: at that store during COVID. During COVID German COVID too,
- 10:22Speaker 1: I was working there.
- 10:23Speaker 3: I felt like everything was shut down.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Yeah, it was shut down. But when they opened back up, Oh,
- 10:28Speaker 1: we were right in there.
- 10:29Speaker 3: Okay. When during COVID did you actually work or were
- 10:32Speaker 3: you able to get unemployment?
- 10:34Speaker 1: I was definitely unemployment. But then when the summer came
- 10:37Speaker 1: and the world opened back up, everybody come to work
- 10:40Speaker 1: and I was in there room, my mask on the
- 10:42Speaker 1: line is out the door. Why is the line out
- 10:46Speaker 1: the door? Because we've been Yeah.
- 10:49Speaker 3: Yeah, people got used to living in pj's all day,
- 10:52Speaker 3: not wearing makeup. You know what I'm saying. I got
- 10:55Speaker 3: used to not wearing makeup for so long and cold
- 10:57Speaker 3: because LA was shut down for like two years. Yeah,
- 11:01Speaker 3: so now I don't apparely wear makeup. It felt like
- 11:03Speaker 3: two years. It was like a year and a half.
- 11:05Speaker 3: Oh yeah, two years, about two years. Okay, your hot
- 11:09Speaker 3: dogs look nice and burnt and crispy, and they're not ready.
- 11:12Speaker 1: They're too light, see they too light skin.
- 11:14Speaker 3: Okay, they look like they getting close to charcoal.
- 11:18Speaker 1: But hey, you're being a chef. Okay.
- 11:20Speaker 3: Oh, by the way, you got to make sure you
- 11:22Speaker 3: make an extra one for my daughter.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 11:24Speaker 3: Look we got three and we got three okay, all right?
- 11:27Speaker 1: Oh I forgot to tell you the last job after
- 11:29Speaker 1: I graduated college May two, I started breaking at the bank.
- 11:34Speaker 1: So then I had kept my Burlington job and the
- 11:37Speaker 1: bank jobs. I was working two jobs after college. Are
- 11:40Speaker 1: you serious? Okay? Now, what were your aspirations in college?
- 11:44Speaker 1: My aspirations was to always be an actress. I went
- 11:46Speaker 1: to school for communication, Arts and performance studies, so I
- 11:49Speaker 1: was doing like a lot of like acting in there.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Nothing else really interests me. Like there was a time
- 11:55Speaker 1: where I was thinking about dentists because I really like teeth.
- 11:58Speaker 1: You have nice teeth, by the way, thank you. And
- 12:02Speaker 1: then after that it was more like I just really
- 12:06Speaker 1: love movies and TV and all of that film Like,
- 12:09Speaker 1: I just love anything that got to do with entertainment.
- 12:12Speaker 1: So I just so before.
- 12:15Speaker 3: You went to college, I know, I was reading in
- 12:17Speaker 3: some of your notes that like in high school you
- 12:19Speaker 3: got voted like class clown, right or were you were
- 12:23Speaker 3: you voted class clown in high school?
- 12:25Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 12:25Speaker 3: And then did that have a pivotal like place in
- 12:29Speaker 3: like the trajectory of your life being voted that?
- 12:33Speaker 1: Not? Really, just because like even before getting that. I've
- 12:39Speaker 1: just always just been this way since birth. And what's
- 12:43Speaker 1: this way? Like outgoing? Just very outgoing and like very
- 12:47Speaker 1: playful and loud and like I could step into a
- 12:50Speaker 1: room and just own it.
- 12:52Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, own it, own it, own it. Okay, So
- 12:56Speaker 3: you saw that very early on.
- 12:58Speaker 1: Yeah, a lot of people did. I used to be
- 13:00Speaker 1: in the windows like this. Do you want to turn
- 13:02Speaker 1: off that burner?
- 13:04Speaker 3: She just moved it off. She said, forget turning it off. No, yeah,
- 13:08Speaker 3: you're right, that's the right one.
- 13:10Speaker 1: See why they don't allow me in the kitchen.
- 13:12Speaker 3: Look those little burnt hot dogs.
- 13:14Speaker 1: Don't do that crispy look at them?
- 13:17Speaker 3: Then burnt crispies is the camera, and do it under
- 13:19Speaker 3: the camera so it can see.
- 13:20Speaker 1: These looks so pretty. You can't have them be life skinned.
- 13:24Speaker 3: Look I like the little crispy shells. Matter of fact,
- 13:27Speaker 3: does krispy shell in the soft inside?
- 13:30Speaker 1: All right?
- 13:30Speaker 3: Now, she's gonna move on to the beans.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Yes I am, and I'm gonna just do the beans
- 13:35Speaker 1: right here, although this one is already high ready for me. Huh.
- 13:38Speaker 3: Okay, So take me to the decisions where you decide
- 13:41Speaker 3: you're going to get a second job. Why did you
- 13:43Speaker 3: have to get a second job. You're not You're obviously
- 13:45Speaker 3: not living at home at this point.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Okay, it wasn't. No, I am at home. Okay, can
- 13:49Speaker 1: I tell you at home as we sit right here
- 13:52Speaker 1: next to you.
- 13:53Speaker 3: I still live in Brooklyn, but with your parents.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Yes, really, yes, I don't my game, I would, that's funny.
- 14:00Speaker 3: Yeah, your parents don't try to push you out at
- 14:03Speaker 3: eighteen or nothing.
- 14:04Speaker 1: I'm not from like like any projects anything. I've olays
- 14:08Speaker 1: lived in the house, so it's like I have the
- 14:10Speaker 1: space and stuff. Yeah. Yeah, so no, my mama ain't
- 14:14Speaker 1: trying to kick me out. She loves you too much.
- 14:17Speaker 1: It's like, I guess they like I have older parents.
- 14:21Speaker 1: They like I have older parents there. They in their
- 14:25Speaker 1: fifty sixties now, so it's like they already know how
- 14:29Speaker 1: life is outside. They've been through everything. So it's like,
- 14:33Speaker 1: you know, you leave when you're like absolutely ready. So
- 14:37Speaker 1: they just be like on that kind of time, and
- 14:39Speaker 1: you know, like you don't ever just have to like leave,
- 14:42Speaker 1: like leave when you want to leave, you know, but
- 14:45Speaker 1: it's time because I'm not gonna lie. I'm like grown
- 14:47Speaker 1: out of the room. I close and your space and.
- 14:53Speaker 3: My body, your body she's limp thick.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Anybody, all the listeners tell them that I'm slim thick.
- 15:02Speaker 1: She slim thick.
- 15:03Speaker 3: Thank you slim, but she got the cakes. Am I
- 15:07Speaker 3: supposed to say that inappropriately?
- 15:08Speaker 1: No, that's I want to thank you because.
- 15:11Speaker 3: They be thinking I'm just no. No, she's slim thick, period.
- 15:17Speaker 3: All right, love that you. Yeah, you can use the water.
- 15:21Speaker 3: That's your water.
- 15:22Speaker 1: Cool.
- 15:23Speaker 3: So tell me, So you're at home at what point?
- 15:27Speaker 3: So you're you're you're making all this money. What is
- 15:30Speaker 3: motivating you to work two jobs?
- 15:33Speaker 1: So I wasn't making anything yet? This is like after college.
- 15:37Speaker 1: So after college, since I was still working at Burlington,
- 15:40Speaker 1: I didn't I'm not okay, I'm yeah.
- 15:45Speaker 3: Put the pop back on it so you don't touch it.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Okay, Mama not playing over here, y'all.
- 15:50Speaker 3: We don't want her to. She talk with her hands
- 15:52Speaker 3: and she gets the yeah.
- 15:55Speaker 1: So boom boom, boom boom.
- 15:58Speaker 3: But it's gonna sit. It's gonna sizzle.
- 16:01Speaker 1: I know you want to hear the sizzle.
- 16:03Speaker 3: Okay, So you're working these two jobs. After college, you
- 16:06Speaker 3: graduate with a degree in the arts.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Yes, the degree. My bachelor's are arts. I got that
- 16:12Speaker 1: degree and I have. I also ran track. That's why
- 16:16Speaker 1: I'm slim there. That's where I get this from.
- 16:19Speaker 3: So I real, I know that's so random.
- 16:21Speaker 1: They kind of.
- 16:22Speaker 3: Like they have the little slit right here, you know
- 16:24Speaker 3: what I'm talking about in the thighs.
- 16:25Speaker 1: I know exactly that, but that kind of like leaves
- 16:28Speaker 1: because that's myself that leaves. It leaves if you're not like, okay, guys,
- 16:35Speaker 1: I got like big track thighs though.
- 16:37Speaker 3: They're like, I love that for you, but how we
- 16:39Speaker 3: get detailed? Okay, you started to talk about the yeah
- 16:42Speaker 3: and you start to talk about track though.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Yes, So I'm not a yeah because I'm very competitive,
- 16:47Speaker 1: Like I'm like not a quitter. So I'm not about
- 16:48Speaker 1: to just quit the Burdlinton job. They I'm not put
- 16:50Speaker 1: it into two weeks. I'm like, I'm a juggle both, yeah,
- 16:53Speaker 1: whatever more money for me. And I just have a
- 16:56Speaker 1: very hard working mindset. Like I don't know my parents,
- 16:58Speaker 1: that's as I going back to that, like them working
- 17:02Speaker 1: all their lives and giving us like anything whatever. I've
- 17:04Speaker 1: always been on every vacation every year, we go around
- 17:08Speaker 1: everywhere everywhere. I never really like like even if they
- 17:13Speaker 1: were like middle class and hard workers and not making
- 17:16Speaker 1: all this crazy money. I lived very comfortably and like
- 17:21Speaker 1: always on vacations with my family every single year. So
- 17:24Speaker 1: I have like a lot of memories with my family.
- 17:27Speaker 3: But but where does that independence to want to work?
- 17:31Speaker 1: Cause you want for myself, Like I don't want to.
- 17:35Speaker 1: I don't like the whole mommy daddy money all the time,
- 17:38Speaker 1: Like I did that during high school and then that
- 17:42Speaker 1: first year of college, I'm like, I don't really cause
- 17:44Speaker 1: that was like I got a boyfriend my first year
- 17:47Speaker 1: at college, right, so now I'm ubering. Now now I'm
- 17:51Speaker 1: starting these ubers. It was never uber when I was
- 17:53Speaker 1: in high school. I was walking to school. So now
- 17:56Speaker 1: I'm taking ubers. But the money's going quick. Like so
- 18:01Speaker 1: it's like.
- 18:02Speaker 3: You didn't want to call your parents obviously because you're
- 18:04Speaker 3: kind of grown. You're starting to get into that more
- 18:06Speaker 3: grown state, Like.
- 18:06Speaker 1: I'm going on, what was that going on? Now? Eighteen?
- 18:09Speaker 1: Because I was seventeen going into college. So it's like
- 18:12Speaker 1: I don't want to keep like asking for mommy daddy
- 18:14Speaker 1: money to go see a boyfriend, you know what I mean,
- 18:18Speaker 1: because now it's what they stop giving it to you.
- 18:21Speaker 1: Are you trying to go see that you know what
- 18:22Speaker 1: I mean. It's like if you get if you you know,
- 18:25Speaker 1: get the stuff you need for yourself, you ain't got
- 18:28Speaker 1: to ask nobody exactly. I just always feel like I
- 18:30Speaker 1: don't like asking people for nothing, even today, Like if
- 18:33Speaker 1: I don't have it, I'm gonna figure it out. Yeah,
- 18:36Speaker 1: I like that. I like that.
- 18:38Speaker 3: But what drives you to get a second job? If
- 18:40Speaker 3: you're comfortable? But I like it?
- 18:43Speaker 1: I just I always just like why too well?
- 18:46Speaker 3: Because because no, Because sometimes I think if someone's comfortable,
- 18:50Speaker 3: like in your case, but I wasn't.
- 18:52Speaker 1: I didn't have anything when I came out of college.
- 18:54Speaker 3: But you were at home, right, So you but to
- 18:58Speaker 3: push yourself to say, Okay, I have extra little bit
- 19:01Speaker 3: of time, I'm gonna go and get another job. There's
- 19:04Speaker 3: some driving factor.
- 19:05Speaker 1: In Okay, I understand what you're saying. So when after
- 19:08Speaker 1: after I graduated, I wanted a new job because the
- 19:13Speaker 1: Burlington job was like I'm going on like a year
- 19:15Speaker 1: four now, so it's like, I want a new job.
- 19:18Speaker 1: So I got a bank job and it was more money,
- 19:23Speaker 1: I was getting paid more, the rate was higher, and
- 19:25Speaker 1: then I just kept the Burlington job as some side
- 19:28Speaker 1: joint got it. Yeah, so like, if I couldn't make
- 19:32Speaker 1: it to work, I would just post my shift and
- 19:33Speaker 1: people will take it because it's so many people that
- 19:36Speaker 1: working at Okay, that same job.
- 19:38Speaker 3: So so you used the Burlington as as like a side.
- 19:41Speaker 1: Yeah, that side pocket money and the bank.
- 19:46Speaker 3: Did you ever get tempted?
- 19:48Speaker 1: Actually, never got tempted. I was in there making my
- 19:52Speaker 1: TikTok videos on my lunch breaks and stuff. It was cool.
- 19:55Speaker 1: It was just that, like you have to be there
- 19:58Speaker 1: with like to open up the bank, be two people,
- 20:01Speaker 1: so like if you late, you got the other person
- 20:04Speaker 1: waiting on you. And child was they waiting on me
- 20:06Speaker 1: every single morning? Yeah?
- 20:07Speaker 3: How long did you last?
- 20:09Speaker 1: I lasted a year. I got fired a year later.
- 20:13Speaker 1: They were shutting down my branch. Oh and they was
- 20:15Speaker 1: everybody was losing their jobs shutting down my branch. So
- 20:18Speaker 1: that's the only reason I got fired and I got
- 20:20Speaker 1: I end up getting fired for fan girl. They fired me.
- 20:23Speaker 1: You want to know why? Why? Because I kept posting
- 20:26Speaker 1: the shifts, So I didn't never really do nothing. I
- 20:28Speaker 1: kept posting. I kept posting the shifts and people kept
- 20:31Speaker 1: taking it. So they're like this not even paying Yeah,
- 20:34Speaker 1: this girl never here, so we might as well just
- 20:36Speaker 1: let her go. So they just let me go because
- 20:38Speaker 1: I was never coming. But I never really did anything
- 20:41Speaker 1: to get fired.
- 20:42Speaker 3: Okay, But now just to go back to the banking,
- 20:46Speaker 3: just because I've never been in banking, Ye, did it
- 20:48Speaker 3: change your perception on money or how you view people
- 20:51Speaker 3: that had money versus not? Like, did people that have
- 20:53Speaker 3: money look a certain way versus people that didn't? Were
- 20:56Speaker 3: their mannerisms different. I'm just genuinely curious working in a
- 21:00Speaker 3: bank from knowing.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Whats in there?
- 21:03Speaker 3: So for real, yeah, like you mean like people are.
- 21:10Speaker 1: Here trying to come. I'm like, you're gonna have to
- 21:12Speaker 1: go to that lady over there. I don't know. You
- 21:15Speaker 1: ain't finna do this under my account.
- 21:18Speaker 3: Like cashing checks out and stuff.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Exactly because there was like there was a time, I
- 21:22Speaker 1: think there was a time where like something was going
- 21:26Speaker 1: on where it was like a lot of fraud stuff
- 21:29Speaker 1: that was going on, so people was coming in and
- 21:31Speaker 1: cashing out or on some scamming stuff.
- 21:34Speaker 3: It's so funny. That was the last thing I would
- 21:36Speaker 3: think you would say. But I guess it makes sense
- 21:38Speaker 3: because you know, sometimes banks give you a hard time.
- 21:40Speaker 3: You'd be like, why why you even you should trust me.
- 21:43Speaker 3: But now I see.
- 21:44Speaker 1: You know what, I actually fully understand now the fdi C.
- 21:47Speaker 1: Because I didn't understand that before I worked at the bank.
- 21:50Speaker 1: I understand that. Now. What do you understand about it?
- 21:54Speaker 1: That if you lose your money, you only getting two
- 21:58Speaker 1: hundred and fifty thousand dollars back. Even if you got
- 22:01Speaker 1: a millionaire, you only getting they only you only get
- 22:04Speaker 1: too Do.
- 22:04Speaker 3: You understand the fdi C. Then I didn't know what
- 22:07Speaker 3: the FDIC was. I'm guessing it's insurance. Yes, okay, but
- 22:11Speaker 3: that sucks. But are you on the team of them?
- 22:14Speaker 3: Are you on the team?
- 22:15Speaker 1: No? I'm saying, like, that's crazy. I never knew that
- 22:19Speaker 1: the FDIC's that. But now, like I was, as I'm
- 22:22Speaker 1: working in the bank, I'm finding out all these different
- 22:24Speaker 1: kind of things.
- 22:24Speaker 3: Yeah, that's crazy. So if I put a million in
- 22:27Speaker 3: the bank and someone takes it.
- 22:29Speaker 1: You only get your only thing insured is two fifty thousand.
- 22:32Speaker 3: So why would anyone keep their money in banks?
- 22:36Speaker 1: That's a good question. Maybe after this we're gonna go
- 22:38Speaker 1: take hour shut out.
- 22:40Speaker 3: Yeah, well I don't have two hundred and fifty and
- 22:43Speaker 3: if you came with but if I get over two
- 22:46Speaker 3: hundred and fifty and will it will manifactation and rearifestation
- 22:52Speaker 3: if I get to it, when I get my two fifty,
- 22:54Speaker 3: yea one two hundred and fifty one thousand, best believe
- 22:57Speaker 3: that one thousand making it career? I don't know about you,
- 23:03Speaker 3: but that's a that's a good that's a good life
- 23:05Speaker 3: lesson to learn anyways. All right, So at what point
- 23:09Speaker 3: do you start going on socials and making it a
- 23:13Speaker 3: career choice?
- 23:15Speaker 1: Wait? What do you mean by that break down?
- 23:16Speaker 3: I love how she's I figured you would have done
- 23:19Speaker 3: this before. I thought we were gonna eat him as holes.
- 23:21Speaker 3: I have to judge eat him as what holes? Like
- 23:23Speaker 3: a whole hot dog?
- 23:24Speaker 1: Uh Uh? You better cut them up trying to choke
- 23:27Speaker 1: on your food.
- 23:28Speaker 3: Okay, So at what point do you turn content creation
- 23:31Speaker 3: into a career choice?
- 23:34Speaker 1: I'm not gonna lie. It shocked me too, as I
- 23:37Speaker 1: you know, I never really like planted anything. Like everything
- 23:40Speaker 1: just kind of start falling into place, won't God do it?
- 23:43Speaker 1: Everything just start falling into place for me? Because during
- 23:47Speaker 1: my last year of college, my senior year, that's when
- 23:50Speaker 1: I was on somebody else's platform. So I was on
- 23:53Speaker 1: a guy named Sean YouTube channel and I kind of
- 23:55Speaker 1: took over his channel where like he had me as
- 24:00Speaker 1: his like guest all the time. So it was like
- 24:03Speaker 1: Zoe does this, though, does that? THO does this? So
- 24:04Speaker 1: it was like, let's say like twenty videos straight of
- 24:07Speaker 1: just us on his page. And that's what like really
- 24:09Speaker 1: got me popular to where I made my own channel
- 24:12Speaker 1: after college. That's how I got into my own contact.
- 24:15Speaker 1: I started my YouTube channel after I graduated, and I
- 24:18Speaker 1: got monetized in one week. It one week in a week.
- 24:21Speaker 1: It took me. It took me a long time. I know,
- 24:24Speaker 1: people were telling me, like like the boys that I
- 24:27Speaker 1: were hanging around and stuff, like the creators they were
- 24:29Speaker 1: telling me, yo, it took me like two years. Get
- 24:33Speaker 1: mad at me. I'm like, brother, I don't know what
- 24:34Speaker 1: y'all want me to do, y'all, but.
- 24:36Speaker 3: You know what, I don't want to take it away.
- 24:37Speaker 3: But you said prior you were on that YouTube channel
- 24:40Speaker 3: for what a year building up? Yeah, so technically it
- 24:43Speaker 3: took you like with a year, so yeah, but you
- 24:46Speaker 3: earned it, ok. You worked, you worked it, you showed
- 24:49Speaker 3: up right, and you you were in every episode. So
- 24:51Speaker 3: cause I don't want to guests being like, oh she
- 24:53Speaker 3: wasn't a lottery. It's like, no, you did a year
- 24:57Speaker 3: stuff with him and then and then you decide to
- 24:59Speaker 3: branch on your own exactly.
- 25:01Speaker 1: And people were definitely seeing me and I was doing
- 25:04Speaker 1: stuff like basically I was being put on like all
- 25:06Speaker 1: these different like blind dates and stuff like I was
- 25:08Speaker 1: like the blind date queen in New York, where like
- 25:11Speaker 1: I was kind of like not being like during my dates.
- 25:16Speaker 1: I wasn't always really nice. I was like, ugh, what
- 25:19Speaker 1: you wearing, nigga? This what the fuck you're gonna put on?
- 25:22Speaker 1: Coming in here with me? That's how I would talk.
- 25:24Speaker 1: I've done anymore. But that's how like the videos went.
- 25:27Speaker 1: So they were very entertaining the kids.
- 25:28Speaker 3: Were they real blind dates or no, they weren't real? Okay,
- 25:32Speaker 3: like both cast all the other person on the other side.
- 25:37Speaker 1: All planned okay, but it was I would hit these
- 25:40Speaker 1: people up saying hey, well that's when I started doing
- 25:43Speaker 1: my own stuff. But like Sean used to get the
- 25:45Speaker 1: blind data, sometimes I didn't even know who it would
- 25:47Speaker 1: be anyway, because Sean would put me on the date
- 25:50Speaker 1: and I would just be like getting in a car
- 25:52Speaker 1: like this blindfolded and stuff.
- 25:54Speaker 3: So but they were never real people.
- 25:57Speaker 1: They weren't like real blind daters. I mean, like we're
- 26:01Speaker 1: real people.
- 26:01Speaker 3: They were real people, and you were, well, they gonna
- 26:04Speaker 3: be robot no, you know what I mean. Like, it
- 26:06Speaker 3: wasn't like, Okay, I put you on a blind date
- 26:08Speaker 3: and then you're gonna treat them like however you wanna
- 26:10Speaker 3: treat them. But the person they did not know that
- 26:14Speaker 3: they were walking I guess they knew.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Sometimes people don't be knowing what they're walking into. But
- 26:19Speaker 1: then they know me some some of these people know
- 26:23Speaker 1: as well, Okay, so and EI are like real people
- 26:26Speaker 1: that would be like at studio videos with us or
- 26:29Speaker 1: like they might do stuff for their own as well.
- 26:33Speaker 3: They're like, yeah, so once you get monetized in a week,
- 26:36Speaker 3: how addictive was it for you to continually put out content.
- 26:40Speaker 1: I was definitely a YouTube bird. I was doing my
- 26:42Speaker 1: YouTube thing. I started my own series of my blind
- 26:45Speaker 1: dates and have one of my content creator guy friends Ron.
- 26:49Speaker 1: He was putting me, excuse me, he was putting me
- 26:51Speaker 1: on all these different blind dates. When I started like
- 26:53Speaker 1: my own series on my own channel, that went like
- 26:56Speaker 1: really really well. And then I started doing best friend
- 26:59Speaker 1: content head and I got introduced to twitch girl and
- 27:05Speaker 1: I done left you too?
- 27:08Speaker 3: Now does Twitch make you more money? Because it pays
- 27:11Speaker 3: more to deal with Twitch?
- 27:14Speaker 1: So with Twitch it's just like, well, I'm not even
- 27:16Speaker 1: sure about like making more. No, I feel like you
- 27:21Speaker 1: do kind of make more money. Actually, it just it
- 27:24Speaker 1: just depends. Because with YouTube you have something called like
- 27:26Speaker 1: the RPM, and then with the RPM, I got a
- 27:30Speaker 1: Friday's up with the RPM. Just don't touch that, please
- 27:33Speaker 1: got you? With the RPM, the higher the higher it is,
- 27:37Speaker 1: the more money you make. So like let's say if
- 27:39Speaker 1: it's six dollars or whatever, you're not making that much.
- 27:42Speaker 1: But versus if it's like an eight dollar RPM, you're
- 27:45Speaker 1: gonna make more from your video. Yeah, based off the
- 27:48Speaker 1: views and stuff like that. But with Twitch, you have
- 27:51Speaker 1: people in real time sending you gifts, sending you subs,
- 27:55Speaker 1: or they can actually like if they want to speak
- 27:57Speaker 1: on there and talk, they can sends where with the
- 28:02Speaker 1: donation they're able to like tts where they can talk
- 28:04Speaker 1: on your stream. Okay, like it will be like something
- 28:07Speaker 1: like Siri talking like this user name says blah blah
- 28:11Speaker 1: blah blah blah, Zoe you are so gorgeous like something
- 28:14Speaker 1: like that, and they'll donate money and then they can like,
- 28:17Speaker 1: you're gonna make me want to get on Twitch. Now
- 28:19Speaker 1: get on girl club.
- 28:21Speaker 3: Because now, well you're pro female content creators, which I
- 28:24Speaker 3: think is unique in the female space because sometimes it's
- 28:27Speaker 3: hit and miss whether females are pro female or semi
- 28:31Speaker 3: hater female.
- 28:33Speaker 1: Semi hater females. Yeah, we have many of those these days.
- 28:38Speaker 1: But this is life. This is what comes with it.
- 28:41Speaker 3: Were there any collaborations that you got and you were
- 28:45Speaker 3: like surprised or and or extremely excited about. Yes.
- 28:50Speaker 1: So when I first like was able to get sexy Red,
- 28:53Speaker 1: I was so excited. Yeah, I was literally so so excited.
- 28:58Speaker 1: And then when it when we went through with it,
- 29:01Speaker 1: it was so successful. How did that collab come about?
- 29:05Speaker 1: I think someone from my team because she was she
- 29:09Speaker 1: came out to New York for like a whole week,
- 29:11Speaker 1: so she streamed with another streamer and then myself. Yeah,
- 29:16Speaker 1: so people are people on the team. We got behind this,
- 29:19Speaker 1: We got behind the scenes people working helping me out grow.
- 29:22Speaker 3: I was gonna, I was about to say, because now
- 29:24Speaker 3: you're you're also adding another layer that you have a team. Absolutely,
- 29:28Speaker 3: did you build your team or did they kind of
- 29:31Speaker 3: approach you?
- 29:32Speaker 1: I would say I definitely build my team and still.
- 29:35Speaker 3: Is okay, hey you hear that, guys, there's some there's
- 29:39Speaker 3: some room on the.
- 29:40Speaker 1: Squad gang gang gang. But I definitely am building like
- 29:45Speaker 1: a women's team though a woman's like.
- 29:49Speaker 3: Or oh, you mean like your team is all women mostly? Really,
- 29:54Speaker 3: do you think it's because you can depend on them
- 29:56Speaker 3: more or are you I just.
- 29:58Speaker 1: Like it's just black women just need to win, period. Yeah,
- 30:04Speaker 1: that's what I'd rather be women. Okay, I like that
- 30:08Speaker 1: for you. I don't got nothing against the men, like
- 30:10Speaker 1: I'd be on here. I'd be on here going crazy
- 30:14Speaker 1: with uplifting the women as I should. And it's nothing
- 30:17Speaker 1: against the men. It's just that y'all got it all.
- 30:20Speaker 1: So it's like that's the only reason why. So I
- 30:22Speaker 1: love y'all men too. Still, but you gotta put the
- 30:26Speaker 1: ladies first these days because it's just too much on
- 30:29Speaker 1: women these days, Like it's just not the same.
- 30:33Speaker 3: So this is my bias, and this is probably it
- 30:36Speaker 3: could be inaccurate. Don't fact check me, but I feel like,
- 30:39Speaker 3: if you have a team and it's men and women, yeah,
- 30:41Speaker 3: the women end up carrying most of the weight and
- 30:45Speaker 3: the men become manicaps. So it's it's like it almost
- 30:48Speaker 3: works better if you have, say all men are all women.
- 30:51Speaker 3: But I see guys coming in here and they have
- 30:52Speaker 3: all men team, really, and I see women coming here
- 30:55Speaker 3: and they have well, not that many women have an
- 30:58Speaker 3: all women team, but I will say you today you
- 31:01Speaker 3: had a whole woman's squad, which was impressive. But I
- 31:03Speaker 3: don't think I have had a guest on the show
- 31:05Speaker 3: that had.
- 31:05Speaker 1: An all woman really squad.
- 31:07Speaker 3: But not every guest comes with a squad.
- 31:10Speaker 1: Now, it might be hard. It might be hard because
- 31:14Speaker 1: we all get our periods. We all get our periods,
- 31:18Speaker 1: we all have those days. But we should just still
- 31:22Speaker 1: be uplifting each other because we just should a lot
- 31:28Speaker 1: of people try to like bash us a lot, you know,
- 31:32Speaker 1: and then it's like we don't get the same treatment
- 31:34Speaker 1: and stuff like that, so we should just come together. Yeah,
- 31:38Speaker 1: you know that's how I feel.
- 31:39Speaker 3: So what's the hardest part of your business?
- 31:41Speaker 1: Right now? I would say some that smells good, thank you,
- 31:50Speaker 1: I'm excited. The hardest part, I would say the hardest
- 31:55Speaker 1: part is really like staying focused and being consistent because
- 32:00Speaker 1: I feel like you get I get I'm of every
- 32:04Speaker 1: I'm a person that gets distracted very easily, turn off girls.
- 32:09Speaker 1: I'm killing her. Y'all people that watch you so scary,
- 32:17Speaker 1: I really want to make and then.
- 32:19Speaker 3: She talks like this and You're just like, please, God,
- 32:21Speaker 3: don't let those fingernails hit melt. Okay, So now I
- 32:28Speaker 3: got thrown off foes asking.
- 32:30Speaker 1: Man, you said, I hold on. You said something good.
- 32:38Speaker 3: You said I was like asking about the hardest part
- 32:41Speaker 3: of your business.
- 32:42Speaker 1: What's the hardest part of my business? And you said
- 32:45Speaker 1: staying focused, staying focused, staying consistent, because you know, like,
- 32:49Speaker 1: I get distracted very easily, and I feel like distracted
- 32:53Speaker 1: by what though anything. You drop a pen, I'm focused
- 32:57Speaker 1: on the pen.
- 32:57Speaker 3: How how many hours a day do you put it
- 33:00Speaker 3: into streaming?
- 33:02Speaker 1: Okay, right now I'm not on my I'm not on
- 33:04Speaker 1: my shit. I'm gonna be honest. Okay, right now I'm
- 33:06Speaker 1: not on my shit. I'm gonna get on my ship.
- 33:08Speaker 1: But right now I'm not on my ship. But when
- 33:10Speaker 1: I was on it eight eight hours a day, not
- 33:16Speaker 1: even a day, but maybe I might do like a
- 33:18Speaker 1: three day thing. Eight if I game, it's gonna be over.
- 33:24Speaker 1: Twelve if I game, Oh, if I get the gaming,
- 33:27Speaker 1: it's gonna be over ten hours for sure. Wow, gaming,
- 33:30Speaker 1: you get locked into there? So what are you distracted
- 33:32Speaker 1: by currently? Currently? Okay, I'm about to get a little
- 33:37Speaker 1: bit sentimental now. So right now, I'm just at a
- 33:41Speaker 1: point where it's like I'm just trying to figure out
- 33:49Speaker 1: I'm trying to figure out my like my career because
- 33:53Speaker 1: I really want to be an actress and I really
- 33:56Speaker 1: want to get started on locking in with that. Like
- 34:00Speaker 1: you can do everything at once, yet if you put
- 34:04Speaker 1: your heart in one thing, more like it's gonna work out,
- 34:07Speaker 1: you know. So it's like like I'm dedicated to streaming
- 34:12Speaker 1: right now. But if I'm dedicated to streaming, how am
- 34:14Speaker 1: I gonna become this big movie star? You know? So,
- 34:17Speaker 1: like I'm really trying to figure out like that part
- 34:20Speaker 1: of my life right now. And then like with streaming
- 34:23Speaker 1: right now has become less fun. It's become less of
- 34:30Speaker 1: me wanting to do it because of all of like
- 34:34Speaker 1: the it just starts. It just started to get very
- 34:38Speaker 1: like right now, like streaming kind of just became less
- 34:42Speaker 1: fun and just like it's more like very acting now.
- 34:46Speaker 1: It's like because it used to be very just like
- 34:49Speaker 1: improv and just fun and just yeah, short, short, short
- 34:55Speaker 1: and proven I got you. It's like this.
- 35:00Speaker 3: Look your hands begins, so turn it off. Turn it off,
- 35:04Speaker 3: all right, So plate the dish, eat us. What are
- 35:07Speaker 3: we doing rice?
- 35:08Speaker 1: Oh it's okay, it's okay.
- 35:10Speaker 3: We're gonna we got some cold rice here.
- 35:13Speaker 1: Yes, we have some. You should have had some balls.
- 35:17Speaker 3: I didn't know how you ate this, okay, I didn't
- 35:20Speaker 3: know if it was gonna be a rice with beans
- 35:23Speaker 3: on the side.
- 35:24Speaker 1: Here. Use this as, oh, you really want a bowl?
- 35:29Speaker 3: No, you're gonna sacrifice, okay, because I want to get
- 35:32Speaker 3: into your story right now.
- 35:37Speaker 1: Yeah, leave it, leave it.
- 35:39Speaker 3: So now let's go back. Yes, and we're gonna go
- 35:42Speaker 3: back to some of the hurdles up streaming.
- 35:46Speaker 1: This looks great on the side, however you do it,
- 35:52Speaker 1: I really do it in a bowl and eat it
- 35:53Speaker 1: like its soup.
- 35:54Speaker 3: But then where do you put the rice on the side? Look,
- 35:59Speaker 3: sorry for ruining your bowl fantasy. Let's try this. So, guys,
- 36:06Speaker 3: I was trying to figure out the difference between baked
- 36:08Speaker 3: beans and pork and beans, and according to the can,
- 36:11Speaker 3: this is tomato sauce. I don't know if the baked
- 36:15Speaker 3: beans always come out sweet. So that's that was my conclusion.
- 36:18Speaker 1: Tomato sauce. In tomato sauce.
- 36:23Speaker 3: Now she's gonna view her her thing differently.
- 36:25Speaker 1: All right, go ahead try it. Oh, you try it
- 36:27Speaker 1: in tomato, so I don't beginning. I went in the hood.
- 36:31Speaker 1: I get Canto's porking beans. Girl. It's the same thing.
- 36:34Speaker 1: You're gonna eat it.
- 36:40Speaker 3: It tastes the same, you madcal This is tomato sauce.
- 36:47Speaker 1: Don't judge your own. Get down with this right now.
- 36:50Speaker 1: I like it with the rice, even not in a bowl.
- 36:54Speaker 3: Good, good, Joey.
- 36:59Speaker 1: I like the way you did your hot dogs. Nobody
- 37:02Speaker 1: ever really liked that.
- 37:03Speaker 3: I like it with the crunchy, little fake burnt, the
- 37:08Speaker 3: overtan in the tanning bit too.
- 37:10Speaker 1: Long, It's still nice and soft. Mm okay, I could cook, Joe.
- 37:20Speaker 3: What were you saying about the streaming being like more
- 37:23Speaker 3: like fake and less improvably.
- 37:26Speaker 1: Yes, so yes, so basically I like how we really
- 37:37Speaker 1: like this though.
- 37:41Speaker 3: I like how you you eating it too, though I
- 37:44Speaker 3: was scared you weren't gonna eat it because of the tomato.
- 37:46Speaker 3: All right, go on, I'm sorry.
- 37:47Speaker 1: It feels like Brooklyn in here. M Jesus is great,
- 37:53Speaker 1: thank you, and you have to have you see why
- 37:56Speaker 1: you have to have sugar. You cannot be without the sugar.
- 37:59Speaker 3: That's why why we don't taste the tomato sauce.
- 38:03Speaker 1: Real to make like I've never even heard of that.
- 38:05Speaker 1: It don't look like tomato sauce. But yes, So as
- 38:13Speaker 1: of right now, it's like I really want to, like
- 38:19Speaker 1: I really want to start going into like my career
- 38:21Speaker 1: path of acting and getting into like some classes and
- 38:25Speaker 1: doing some like going out there. What do I do
- 38:29Speaker 1: when you like auditions, going to do auditions, like really
- 38:32Speaker 1: landing something for real, because like I don't want to
- 38:39Speaker 1: stream forever obviously, and then right now with streaming, it's
- 38:43Speaker 1: like I feel like some of the love has kind
- 38:49Speaker 1: of been taken out of it. It's just like like
- 38:52Speaker 1: people like people make things, you know, Like I feel
- 38:56Speaker 1: like people people like, for example, if you go to
- 38:59Speaker 1: a party, people were going to make the party, right yeah,
- 39:01Speaker 1: So I feel like people make like the platform what
- 39:06Speaker 1: it is and what it's becoming is, and like it
- 39:09Speaker 1: has become so it has become like so like fake.
- 39:14Speaker 1: It's not fun anymore. I can see that.
- 39:17Speaker 3: How do your parents that you've been doing it for
- 39:19Speaker 3: a while, how do your parents perceive your career when
- 39:23Speaker 3: it comes to the streaming and the online content.
- 39:25Speaker 1: So at first, with like the whole content thing, they
- 39:30Speaker 1: didn't really like, you know, again, my parents are older,
- 39:32Speaker 1: so they weren't really like like, you're really making real
- 39:36Speaker 1: money from this, Like this is really making you money. Yeah,
- 39:39Speaker 1: it was kind of like I feel like it was
- 39:41Speaker 1: a little bit unbelievable at firsts that I'm until I
- 39:44Speaker 1: really start making money and like attention start. Like if
- 39:48Speaker 1: I'm outside with my parents and they're seeing all these
- 39:50Speaker 1: people come up to me for pictures, It's like what
- 39:52Speaker 1: the hell? They literally like what the hell? They're literally
- 39:56Speaker 1: like what And like today now obviously it's like one
- 40:03Speaker 1: hundred percent they believe everything, But at first it was
- 40:05Speaker 1: just like you ain't like you gotta go get a
- 40:08Speaker 1: real job where you gotta go get benefits and you
- 40:10Speaker 1: need to go get your your health insurance and get
- 40:13Speaker 1: your dentals and all of that.
- 40:15Speaker 3: And what about the acting side though? Are they also like, well,
- 40:18Speaker 3: you got a degree in arts, Like what are you
- 40:20Speaker 3: doing with that?
- 40:21Speaker 1: Well with the whole acting thing, because I've been like
- 40:23Speaker 1: so like tonal vision or like content, I haven't really
- 40:27Speaker 1: like talked about the whole acting thing, but recently, like
- 40:31Speaker 1: this summer, I was doing like a lot of self
- 40:33Speaker 1: tapes and stuff. So I'm showing my family and stuff.
- 40:35Speaker 3: But are they but are they taking it positively or
- 40:39Speaker 3: do you feel like there's a little bit of negative?
- 40:42Speaker 1: I don't think so. I think it's I think it's
- 40:45Speaker 1: for sure positive. I'm always out though. So my mom
- 40:48Speaker 1: be like, you need you need time for yourself. You
- 40:51Speaker 1: need to sit down and you need to just relax
- 40:53Speaker 1: for a second. You can't go work at all these
- 40:56Speaker 1: places and go to all these events and everything. You
- 40:58Speaker 1: have to take time for yourself, which is true, because
- 41:01Speaker 1: you do got to sit down sometimes.
- 41:03Speaker 3: Is she feeling like now you're working out too much?
- 41:06Speaker 1: I mean sometimes, but she definitely like understands no.
- 41:12Speaker 3: Because what she's saying you need time for yourself, it
- 41:14Speaker 3: almost sounds like there's like.
- 41:15Speaker 1: A because sometimes like let's say I'll be like on
- 41:17Speaker 1: a two week run, Like let's say I'll go like Atlanta,
- 41:21Speaker 1: New York, LA, which I just did. So it's like
- 41:25Speaker 1: I'm not sitting down right now, like on a two
- 41:27Speaker 1: week run, and like if I get back home, it's
- 41:30Speaker 1: like sit down, okay, like that just you know, I'm
- 41:37Speaker 1: still their little baby.
- 41:39Speaker 3: Do you feel like it's harder to come from the
- 41:41Speaker 3: content creator space to cross over into acting now, I'm
- 41:45Speaker 3: starting to feel like they're being a little bit more
- 41:47Speaker 3: lenient on content creators.
- 41:49Speaker 1: Seems a little bit more lenient now. I feel like
- 41:51Speaker 1: a lot of things are more lenient now, and I
- 41:54Speaker 1: feel like they go hand in hand because you know,
- 41:57Speaker 1: like with content and like with all of the videos
- 42:00Speaker 1: that I've created so far, I work on my craft
- 42:05Speaker 1: while doing that. So like I'm like in my head,
- 42:07Speaker 1: I'm like, Okay, I'm in my acting bag right now,
- 42:10Speaker 1: although I'm shooting content and I'm my authentic self, but
- 42:14Speaker 1: I'm still like acting as well, because I mean I
- 42:17Speaker 1: do still turn it on for the camera. I'm not
- 42:21Speaker 1: really turning much on because I'm the same way, but
- 42:24Speaker 1: I'm still like turning it on. Yes, know how to
- 42:26Speaker 1: turn it off.
- 42:27Speaker 3: Is there a parameter that is there a you sound
- 42:32Speaker 3: like me, that's how I'll be talking.
- 42:34Speaker 1: Is there a.
- 42:35Speaker 3: Bar that you have in regards to like accepting roles
- 42:40Speaker 3: for acting? Is there, like it does it have to
- 42:41Speaker 3: have a certain paycheck or does it have to have
- 42:44Speaker 3: a certain cash Like do you have a I don't
- 42:47Speaker 3: want to see the word barameter again.
- 42:48Speaker 1: Bar No, I get it now. When you said bar
- 42:51Speaker 1: I put it together. So as of right now, I'm
- 42:55Speaker 1: going to say no just because I don't have projects.
- 42:59Speaker 1: So it's like you can't be acting for all of
- 43:02Speaker 1: this if you don't got nothing to show. Yeah, I
- 43:04Speaker 1: mean I got something to show in a different world. Yeah,
- 43:06Speaker 1: But those are two different worlds because I feel like
- 43:09Speaker 1: the directors don't get don't care if you got ten
- 43:13Speaker 1: million you're the best content creator in the world. You
- 43:16Speaker 1: have to be the best actress actor in the world.
- 43:19Speaker 1: It's two different worlds at the end of the day. Yeah,
- 43:21Speaker 1: And they're looking for like good actors and actresses. They
- 43:25Speaker 1: don't always care about those numbers because then you would
- 43:29Speaker 1: see so many content creators in movies. You don't see.
- 43:32Speaker 3: That, no, But I do notice that when content creators
- 43:35Speaker 3: do crossover, there's like I know, like Melvin Gregg, I
- 43:38Speaker 3: don't know if you know who he is. He's an
- 43:40Speaker 3: LA content creator. Like once he started switching over the movies,
- 43:43Speaker 3: you see him completely. It's almost like distance himself from
- 43:47Speaker 3: content creating.
- 43:48Speaker 1: But just like DC Young Fly, Remember he was seeing
- 43:51Speaker 1: a lot of content and then he was in that
- 43:54Speaker 1: movie on Netflix or something like that, and he got
- 43:57Speaker 1: the show too, what show look?
- 44:00Speaker 3: But that's what I'm saying. He dc owns his whole everything.
- 44:05Speaker 1: And then he did that movie. Do you remember that
- 44:06Speaker 1: movie on Netflix? It was like a funny movie about weed.
- 44:09Speaker 1: It was like a weed. He was how High I'm
- 44:12Speaker 1: gonna look? Okay, he was in something called How High?
- 44:15Speaker 1: And yeah, after that, you said, the other guy, he
- 44:17Speaker 1: distanced hmself from distance.
- 44:19Speaker 3: But it's weird because now you're seeing it more and
- 44:21Speaker 3: more movies, content creators pop out. So I feel like
- 44:23Speaker 3: you working hard on your numbers on this end. It's
- 44:26Speaker 3: beneficial and just now you guys gotta I guess crossover
- 44:30Speaker 3: on the acting side and improves the people.
- 44:33Speaker 1: Why so how these numbers can benefit y'all and get
- 44:37Speaker 1: all of that? No, for sure?
- 44:39Speaker 3: Is there any type of acting role that you're specifically
- 44:42Speaker 3: would like to try out for?
- 44:43Speaker 1: Is it comedy? Drama? Definitely? Comedy? Definitely. I want to
- 44:47Speaker 1: do a movie with Regina. A lot of people compare
- 44:51Speaker 1: me to her. I get a lot of comparisons where
- 44:53Speaker 1: they're like, you guys need to do a mommy' daughter
- 44:55Speaker 1: okay film? I think that would be so hot. Did
- 44:59Speaker 1: you see a man of her too. I love Regina Hole.
- 45:01Speaker 3: Did you see my I saw, I saw it.
- 45:03Speaker 1: I saw Yeah, I got the braids, every piece of
- 45:09Speaker 1: outfit down to the ground. I was looking just like
- 45:12Speaker 1: that lady. I think that would be really good. But
- 45:15Speaker 1: the roles that I would definitely want a book is
- 45:18Speaker 1: things that I'm uncomfortable with and comfortable with, as far
- 45:22Speaker 1: as like uncomfortability, as far as like doing something that's
- 45:25Speaker 1: just like out of my Yeah, what would that look like,
- 45:28Speaker 1: because like obviously people look at me like as like
- 45:31Speaker 1: I'm just like this comedy. I could do like some
- 45:33Speaker 1: comedy for sure, and some drama, but something on the
- 45:36Speaker 1: sides of like scary movie but like actually a scary
- 45:40Speaker 1: movie or something like sentimental where it's like she's like
- 45:44Speaker 1: they never see me serious, like when they see me seriously.
- 45:47Speaker 3: I feel like I would be shocked to see you
- 45:48Speaker 3: like play like a serious like dead asst Like I
- 45:51Speaker 3: feel like halle Berry does a good job at like.
- 45:54Speaker 1: You kinda look like Ali hilarious but but like I
- 45:58Speaker 1: ain't even see that to your.
- 46:02Speaker 3: But I do feel like she does a good job
- 46:04Speaker 3: at like like because I do think when you're physically
- 46:07Speaker 3: beautiful like, I think Michael B. Jordan's physically beautiful, which
- 46:10Speaker 3: makes it kind of hard, in my opinion, to see
- 46:12Speaker 3: him as an actor. Sometimes I feel like I feel
- 46:17Speaker 3: like his beauty kind of takes away from his no way,
- 46:21Speaker 3: ye no. But I feel like halle Berry and j
- 46:24Speaker 3: Lo do such a great job in acting that even
- 46:26Speaker 3: though they're both very stunning, they're not afraid to like
- 46:31Speaker 3: downgrade their stunningness. But I think because Michael B. Jordan
- 46:34Speaker 3: is literally like, you can't unmake up him, it's hard
- 46:37Speaker 3: to see him as a great You know what I'm saying.
- 46:39Speaker 1: Have you worked for him, by the way, No, but
- 46:41Speaker 1: but manifest that.
- 46:42Speaker 3: Let me tell you, I manifest him as my husband, Michael,
- 46:49Speaker 3: my any of the above. If you work with him,
- 46:52Speaker 3: you you You know what I'm saying. I got friends
- 46:55Speaker 3: that know him, but they haven't connected because I heard
- 46:58Speaker 3: he's like a little ho ho.
- 47:00Speaker 1: I mean shit, I get it.
- 47:03Speaker 3: I get it, That's all I get it.
- 47:04Speaker 1: If I look like him, I'll probably be a little yeah.
- 47:07Speaker 3: Okay. There was a content creator that was talking about
- 47:13Speaker 3: mental health and sometimes how the numbers of followers don't
- 47:16Speaker 3: equate to the actual money. Can you talk on that
- 47:22Speaker 3: your perspective obviously.
- 47:24Speaker 1: So the numbers don't equate with the money.
- 47:29Speaker 3: Yeah, Like, like I think there's an assumption that, oh,
- 47:32Speaker 3: this person has and it was a content creator that
- 47:34Speaker 3: put out a video like a couple of days ago,
- 47:36Speaker 3: and he was just like, an assumption is I have
- 47:38Speaker 3: say four million followers on this platform. Then the assumption
- 47:42Speaker 3: is that I'm making a crazy amount of money.
- 47:46Speaker 1: Okay, I can say that they actually don't equate because
- 47:52Speaker 1: he got four million, But what if he got that
- 47:54Speaker 1: four million like a while ago or something and he's
- 47:57Speaker 1: not producing, like that's content and like being consistent and working.
- 48:02Speaker 1: It's it's not the same, you know, like I have.
- 48:05Speaker 1: I think I just hit four hundred sub followers on
- 48:09Speaker 1: Twitch now four hundred thousand. Sorry, I just hit four
- 48:13Speaker 1: hundred thousand. But I haven't been consistent, So I'm not
- 48:20Speaker 1: gonna see all this big money if I'm not you know,
- 48:22Speaker 1: doing anything about it, you know what I mean? And
- 48:26Speaker 1: then how's the mental health? I can say that, like
- 48:31Speaker 1: sometimes the numbers, like being in the midst of it,
- 48:34Speaker 1: it can discoverage you a little bit because it's like,
- 48:42Speaker 1: all right, let's say let's say I haven't streamed for
- 48:44Speaker 1: a while and I come back and now I got
- 48:46Speaker 1: like three hunting, I'd be like, oh, so like irritated.
- 48:50Speaker 1: I'd be kind of wanting to get off, But you
- 48:53Speaker 1: can't get off because I have built it back up
- 48:55Speaker 1: again because they haven't seen you in a while, so
- 48:58Speaker 1: they're not coming to your pay because you ain't been
- 49:00Speaker 1: here in a while. They thinking that, Okay, she's not
- 49:04Speaker 1: you know what I mean. Yah, So that kind of
- 49:07Speaker 1: like that kind of like messes with the mentor a
- 49:10Speaker 1: little bit. But if you know, like I'm very confident
- 49:14Speaker 1: in myself. I know that I can leave and I
- 49:17Speaker 1: could come back and be popping again because I have
- 49:20Speaker 1: it in me. If you ain't got it in you,
- 49:22Speaker 1: then it's like you need to think about your life
- 49:25Speaker 1: and yourself. However, when me, like, I got it so bad,
- 49:31Speaker 1: not being cocky, I have it so bad that like
- 49:34Speaker 1: it's my gift, so I don't be too bothered.
- 49:41Speaker 3: Yeah, but I do think it's interesting that the numbers
- 49:44Speaker 3: do mess with you, because I'm starting to wonder if
- 49:46Speaker 3: social media is actually good for us, even at content creators.
- 49:48Speaker 3: I mean they're not like because content creators also, like
- 49:52Speaker 3: you guys, put in a lot of work. You know
- 49:54Speaker 3: and then sometimes because the algorithms are the forces that
- 49:58Speaker 3: are invisible, that be change or up, it can also
- 50:01Speaker 3: affect you. But like, are you guys, are you looking
- 50:03Speaker 3: at the numbers?
- 50:04Speaker 1: Are you looking at the dollars?
- 50:05Speaker 3: You know, I think it sounds like you look at both,
- 50:09Speaker 3: but definitely the do you look at both? But it seems
- 50:13Speaker 3: like the numbers kind of but they mess with you
- 50:18Speaker 3: a little, but.
- 50:18Speaker 1: It doesn't really like it doesn't really like sometimes it does.
- 50:23Speaker 1: But it's my fault though, you know, as far as
- 50:26Speaker 1: like you can see numbers and you can see all
- 50:29Speaker 1: this greatness for yourself if you're doing what you have
- 50:31Speaker 1: to do. If I'm coming in and I'm like getting
- 50:34Speaker 1: mentally stressed out about numbers, well, why is your numbers
- 50:37Speaker 1: that way? You got to take some type of accountability
- 50:39Speaker 1: for yourself.
- 50:40Speaker 3: Yeah, it sounds like you can check yourself out personally, Zoway.
- 50:43Speaker 3: But it does sound like there is a there's a
- 50:46Speaker 3: pre just discussion there. There's like, oh man, the numbers
- 50:48Speaker 3: are low, and it does affect you a little bit,
- 50:51Speaker 3: even though you're it sounds like you're able to recover
- 50:53Speaker 3: and self talk and like you know what you bring
- 50:57Speaker 3: to the table. But I do think that it still
- 50:59Speaker 3: needs to be acknowledged some degree that it does play
- 51:02Speaker 3: with your mental a little bit.
- 51:03Speaker 1: I mean, I mean, I'm so hardcore hunk. Yeah, I
- 51:12Speaker 1: like it.
- 51:12Speaker 3: Because you're from New York.
- 51:14Speaker 1: I'd be like, I don't care, and then you got
- 51:17Speaker 1: pieces of you in the back that care.
- 51:19Speaker 3: But do you have a like a bag amount that
- 51:21Speaker 3: you have to make a month where you like, no
- 51:23Speaker 3: matter what, I gotta do work every.
- 51:26Speaker 1: I don't even really like set money goals of like
- 51:29Speaker 1: what I want to make every month. I actually don't
- 51:32Speaker 1: do that. That's actually something I should do.
- 51:35Speaker 3: Yeah, probably, and just figure out a way to like
- 51:38Speaker 3: maintain it. What advice would you give to people trying
- 51:41Speaker 3: to get into this lane, especially the female streamers, because
- 51:44Speaker 3: I know you're in support of.
- 51:45Speaker 1: Them absolutely well to the females of course, So you
- 51:52Speaker 1: just really have to, like you have to like coming
- 51:56Speaker 1: into this, you really have to like be mentally prepared, physically, spiritually,
- 52:01Speaker 1: and mentally because it's not like it's very male dominated.
- 52:08Speaker 1: It's not like they don't. It's not for us, but
- 52:14Speaker 1: it can be and it should be. But you just
- 52:17Speaker 1: really have to be grounded in this because any anything
- 52:23Speaker 1: that you may do that, the world may not like
- 52:27Speaker 1: they will get you quicker than they would get a male.
- 52:32Speaker 1: So you just really have to stay grounded and be consistent,
- 52:35Speaker 1: be strong, and if it's something that's really for you,
- 52:38Speaker 1: then do that. If it's not, don't because a lot
- 52:42Speaker 1: a stream is not for everybody. Like a lot of
- 52:44Speaker 1: people say, how can you sit there and have just
- 52:47Speaker 1: camera on you all day? And there's no time for yourself.
- 52:50Speaker 1: So it's like, do it if you really want to
- 52:53Speaker 1: do it, you know, and also really try hard to
- 52:57Speaker 1: try hard to be consistent and focused because I struggle
- 53:01Speaker 1: with that personally. So if you're eys have a person
- 53:04Speaker 1: who struggle struggle with being consistent and very focused, that's
- 53:08Speaker 1: what you really need in this field for sure. And
- 53:13Speaker 1: to be strong for real because people and we end
- 53:16Speaker 1: up seeing a lot of girls crying on twitch on
- 53:18Speaker 1: twitch me myself and I was one of them. So
- 53:21Speaker 1: you just really got you really gotta be strong because
- 53:24Speaker 1: then yeah, but shout out to the ladies though, because
- 53:29Speaker 1: I'm not even gonna lie. They actually been eating on
- 53:32Speaker 1: twitch is we have? So it's so many girls on
- 53:35Speaker 1: twitch now, which I.
- 53:36Speaker 3: Love, And do you ever get to collab with each other.
- 53:39Speaker 1: I've collabed with. I've collabsed with some Right now, I'm
- 53:44Speaker 1: just trying to lock in with myself and really like
- 53:47Speaker 1: get myself on on here. Good.
- 53:50Speaker 3: But and and it seems like you're also considering pivoting out,
- 53:54Speaker 3: not pivoting out, but I guess adding, adding, adding.
- 53:58Speaker 1: Not even pivoting out. Actually, I'm gonna juggle as long
- 54:02Speaker 1: as I want to juggle, you know what I mean?
- 54:04Speaker 3: You definitely look like you could do it too.
- 54:07Speaker 1: Absolutely. I call myself a jack of old trade. I
- 54:10Speaker 1: like that. Zoe.

- 55:20Speaker 1: I got no, you're you can say whatever you want
- 55:22Speaker 1: Zoe Spencer. But you know, God whispered in my ear

- 55:48Speaker 1: did it, though, I always tell people that.
