- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Happy Friday friends, We made it Friday to thirteen.
- 0:07Speaker 3: Ricky's got those three things.
- 0:09Speaker 4: A massive Internet outage disrupt service on popular apps like Gmail, Twitch,
- 0:13Speaker 4: and Spotify for at least an hour yesterday. People with
- 0:16Speaker 4: smart home setups that were connected to Google Home or
- 0:19Speaker 4: Nest were trying to stream music on Spotify and use
- 0:22Speaker 4: their apps, but nothing was working. They just completely came
- 0:25Speaker 4: up empty. The issues appeared to be tied to problems
- 0:28Speaker 4: with Google Cloud, which affected server locations globally starting around
- 0:33Speaker 4: two pm yesterday. Largely been resolved at this point, but
- 0:38Speaker 4: if you are still experiencing some issues, they are working
- 0:41Speaker 4: on it. They're trying to make sure that everybody is
- 0:42Speaker 4: up and running. Obviously, it takes some time when there's
- 0:45Speaker 4: a global outage, so just keep that in mind if
- 0:48Speaker 4: you are having some struggles with your Google Cloud today.
- 0:52Speaker 4: At the Zebra is getting a kid's book. A local
- 0:56Speaker 4: daycare owner announced on Facebook that Amazon is reviewing her
- 0:59Speaker 4: book titled I Did the Zebra's Wild Vacation. Stevie. Michelle
- 1:05Speaker 4: Kimbro said that she will announce on her Facebook once
- 1:08Speaker 4: the book is live. Keep a lookout for it because
- 1:10Speaker 4: obviously adorable idea I'm glad she jumped on this as
- 1:13Speaker 4: fast as she did because Ed just you know, took
- 1:16Speaker 4: not only Tennessee by storm, but it was a national news.
- 1:20Speaker 5: Storm for a while.
- 1:21Speaker 4: So keep your eye out for that. Ed the Zebra's
- 1:24Speaker 4: a wild vacation. I love it. And today is Friday
- 1:27Speaker 4: the thirteenth. Like Kevin had said before, if you haven't
- 1:30Speaker 4: checked your calendar, this is the only Friday the thirteenth
- 1:34Speaker 4: happening this year. Friday the thirteenth is a superstition that's
- 1:37Speaker 4: connected to bad luck but also a great day for tattoos.
- 1:41Speaker 4: Friday the thirteenth. A lot of tattoo shops are doing
- 1:45Speaker 4: flash tattoos today, including Curve Beauty in Green Hills, which
- 1:48Speaker 4: is where I've gotten some of my tattoos, and a
- 1:50Speaker 4: bunch of other places around town.
- 1:52Speaker 3: I didn't know that, is that like every Friday the thirteenth.
- 1:55Speaker 3: I had no idea.
- 1:55Speaker 4: Yeah, they do flash tattoos. Friday the thirteenth flash tattoos,
- 1:58Speaker 4: So if you're looking for one, if you're in the
- 2:00Speaker 4: market for a new tattoo, or you're just bored today,
- 2:04Speaker 4: check out your local shop. I'm sure that they have
- 2:05Speaker 4: something going on. I'm murky Sanchez and those of the
- 2:08Speaker 4: three things you need to know.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Are you planning on getting one today?
- 2:10Speaker 4: Not today?
- 2:11Speaker 3: Does you don't? I've never seen Ricky. She's got a
- 2:13Speaker 3: handful of tattoos.
- 2:14Speaker 4: Hey do?
- 2:14Speaker 6: Yes?
- 2:15Speaker 4: And I plan to have a full sleeve on my
- 2:17Speaker 4: left arm at some point.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Didn't get on it today? What else are you doing?
- 2:20Speaker 4: Go get Yeah, I might. It's gloomy today. We'll see
- 2:23Speaker 4: what happens. I could be easily convinced.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Like you said, you know, it's a day of bad luck.
- 2:27Speaker 2: But we do have something good for our first caller
- 2:29Speaker 2: of the day in a few minutes here, within ten minutes,
- 2:31Speaker 2: Holiday World and Splash and Safari stick around if you
- 2:34Speaker 2: want to win those around the way yours, doc, It's anxiety.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Get things started on this Friday morning.
- 2:38Speaker 7: It's the River seven five the River, Ricky, Zach and
- 2:42Speaker 7: Meno in the morning.
- 2:43Speaker 4: Good morning, Kendall and Murphysboro. Welcome to one oh seven
- 2:46Speaker 4: five the River. How's your Friday morning going?
- 2:48Speaker 8: It's going great? How good morning?
- 2:50Speaker 4: Good? I love how chipper and like excited you are
- 2:53Speaker 4: right now? I know it's how much coffee have you
- 2:57Speaker 4: had already?
- 2:58Speaker 7: None?
- 2:59Speaker 3: This is just you, It's just me.
- 3:00Speaker 4: Yeah, I love it. I want an ounce of what
- 3:03Speaker 4: you have, literally saying, you know, it's Friday the thirteenth today.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Does that mean anything to.
- 3:07Speaker 6: You at all?
- 3:08Speaker 2: Nope, No you're not You're not superstitious or any of that.
- 3:12Speaker 1: No, not at all.
- 3:14Speaker 4: I say, she's so excited, she's so chippy, she's so happy.
- 3:16Speaker 4: I don't think that she could be superstitious if she tried.
- 3:18Speaker 3: Guess what.
- 3:19Speaker 2: I stopped and got gas on the way into work
- 3:20Speaker 2: this morning and I found two pennies?
- 3:22Speaker 5: Were they heads up?
- 3:23Speaker 3: No?
- 3:24Speaker 4: That's not good.
- 3:26Speaker 3: That's okay.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Now, my dad taught me if it's heads up and
- 3:29Speaker 2: goes in your right pocket, if it's tails up, it
- 3:31Speaker 2: goes in your left pocket.
- 3:31Speaker 3: So I don't really care about the luck aspect of it.
- 3:33Speaker 3: I just you know, I've got a pocket.
- 3:34Speaker 5: For richer Kevin Woo.
- 3:38Speaker 3: I'm not bragging about being rich. I'm just saying Frida
- 3:41Speaker 3: at thirteenth.
- 3:43Speaker 4: On the pocket thing, I've never heard the pocket thing.
- 3:46Speaker 3: Gary Man, I take it up with him.
- 3:47Speaker 4: All right, I'm gonna have to Kendall. Have you ever
- 3:49Speaker 4: heard of that? I have not?
- 3:51Speaker 9: No?
- 3:51Speaker 4: Okay, Yeah, you just know that, like you find a penny,
- 3:53Speaker 4: you pick it up all day long. You have good luck. Absolutely, Okay,
- 3:57Speaker 4: Kendall and I are on the same page. I don't
- 3:59Speaker 4: know where you guys are at.
- 4:00Speaker 3: My dad literally made it up. I mean, it's not
- 4:02Speaker 3: a thing.
- 4:04Speaker 7: Kendall.
- 4:05Speaker 4: Thank you for dealing with us. It's Friday morning. It's
- 4:07Speaker 4: gonna be a weird one. But you are the first
- 4:09Speaker 4: color of the day on one o seven five the
- 4:11Speaker 4: River and you're getting these tickets to Holiday World and
- 4:13Speaker 4: squashing Safari.
- 4:19Speaker 3: That was great. You're gonna do that on the roller coasters.
- 4:23Speaker 3: You can do it on the rides.
- 4:24Speaker 8: Oh yeah, I'm.
- 4:26Speaker 7: I love it.
- 4:27Speaker 4: Congratulations. Gonna hang on the line so we can get
- 4:29Speaker 4: some info from you.
- 4:30Speaker 6: Okay, thank you so much.
- 4:32Speaker 5: Kevin.
- 4:32Speaker 10: Can you try and like recreate her scream?
- 4:36Speaker 4: That whoast you? Sounded more like Mickey Mouse?
- 4:39Speaker 3: Though, I ma way away from the microphone because I
- 4:42Speaker 3: knew that a lot.
- 4:45Speaker 7: Ricky, Zach and men in the morning.
- 4:47Speaker 4: It's officially Friday. Everyone here at one oh seven five
- 4:50Speaker 4: the River is pumped about that. Zach has a list
- 4:53Speaker 4: of some things that you could do around Nashville this weekend.
- 4:56Speaker 10: I sure do so, especially today. This one is really cool.
- 4:59Speaker 10: It's it kicks off the Kids Summer Movie series and
- 5:02Speaker 10: it's in Gallatin at the Palace Theater. It is this
- 5:05Speaker 10: morning at a morning yeah cool, which is like the
- 5:09Speaker 10: perfect time get the kids out of the house, give
- 5:11Speaker 10: them something to do. It's today at ten am at
- 5:13Speaker 10: the Palace Theater and they're playing The Wild Robot, which
- 5:18Speaker 10: is a good movie and it's only.
- 5:19Speaker 4: Five makes you cry, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, So.
- 5:22Speaker 5: If you want to cry at ten o'clock this morning,
- 5:24Speaker 5: go for it.
- 5:24Speaker 3: I didn't cry because I am a wild Robot.
- 5:27Speaker 4: Yes.
- 5:29Speaker 10: Hopefully the weather is okay for this weekend because tomorrow
- 5:33Speaker 10: Arrington Vineyards is having a crawfish boil, which looks really cool.
- 5:37Speaker 10: Apparently they're having people from the South Coast seafood come
- 5:40Speaker 10: served like the freshest, most authentic Louisiana style of crawfish,
- 5:45Speaker 10: and so there's gonna be like live music, there's gonna
- 5:47Speaker 10: be vendors, and it's a good way to celebrate Dad
- 5:49Speaker 10: on for Father's Day if you want to go, and
- 5:53Speaker 10: then on Sunday. I love the Adventure Park at Nashville.
- 5:57Speaker 10: It's so fun and so Sunday Dad's can go for
- 6:00Speaker 10: free with purchase of tickets. So if your family goes.
- 6:03Speaker 10: Dads can go for free to the Adventure Park on
- 6:05Speaker 10: Sunday Bilbmen from ten to five. Also today is the
- 6:09Speaker 10: International Folk Fest.
- 6:11Speaker 5: Do you know what that is?
- 6:13Speaker 10: No, it's a lot of folk music. It's a forty
- 6:16Speaker 10: second International Folk Fest. So they're playing traditional folk music
- 6:19Speaker 10: from like Esnia, Poland and Puerto Rico.
- 6:22Speaker 5: It's really really cool.
- 6:23Speaker 10: So that's happening in Murphysboro at Cedar Glade Bruce today
- 6:27Speaker 10: at five pm is the International Folk Fest. And I
- 6:31Speaker 10: love this idea Summer sidewalk chalk art contests. It's happening
- 6:36Speaker 10: in Murphysboro right downtown in the square towards the courthouse.
- 6:40Speaker 10: And so it is tomorrow from ten am to two pm.
- 6:42Speaker 5: And you go. It's completely free.
- 6:44Speaker 10: You bring your your chalk for sidewalk chalk and you
- 6:48Speaker 10: just draw on the sidewalk and then there's different winners.
- 6:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, like the lay person like us, we're
- 6:54Speaker 2: not gonna be able to compete in this thing. Like
- 6:56Speaker 2: I've been to some of these before, there are some
- 6:58Speaker 2: legit artists out there doing it incredible things.
- 7:01Speaker 10: Okay, Kevin, wait to take the fun of it. Just
- 7:03Speaker 10: take your kids and go and have fun.
- 7:04Speaker 2: I think it's you go more as a spectator than
- 7:07Speaker 2: going to get involved in trying to compete.
- 7:09Speaker 5: Or you can take your kids and have fun with
- 7:11Speaker 5: your sidewalk chalk.
- 7:12Speaker 3: Yeah, you're not gonna win, but go for it. Have fun.
- 7:15Speaker 4: Make sure that you are keeping up to date though
- 7:17Speaker 4: with the weather as well.
- 7:18Speaker 5: Yeah, fun to do sidewalk chalk in the rain.
- 7:22Speaker 4: Not only rain, but thunder and thunder.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Yeah, you guys, I mean, am I crazy that every
- 7:27Speaker 2: single Friday when Zax's running on the calendar, we say
- 7:29Speaker 2: that same thing, like there's a thread of storms every weekend,
- 7:32Speaker 2: very range months.
- 7:34Speaker 10: Two more things that are happening that are indoors so
- 7:36Speaker 10: you can be safe, is Kevin Hart is at the
- 7:38Speaker 10: Ryman on Saturday, so you can go see Kevin Hart
- 7:41Speaker 10: at the Ryman. And then Sunday the Wiggles are at
- 7:44Speaker 10: the opry House.
- 7:45Speaker 5: Yes, so you can do.
- 7:47Speaker 10: Indoor things as well. Kevin Hart and the Wiggles both
- 7:50Speaker 10: in town this weekend.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Three things here we go just to haventer seven o'clock
- 7:54Speaker 2: on this Friday morning, Friday the thirteenth.
- 7:56Speaker 3: Be careful out there. Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 7:59Speaker 4: The gram Pase are introducing new categories for next year's
- 8:02Speaker 4: award show. The existing Best Country Album category has been
- 8:06Speaker 4: renamed Best Contemporary Country Album, and a new category, Best
- 8:10Speaker 4: Traditional Country Album, has been added as well as Best
- 8:13Speaker 4: Album Cover. So there's a few new things. They also
- 8:16Speaker 4: added some things into Classical as well. They're trying to, obviously,
- 8:20Speaker 4: ever change with the evolving times. The sixty eighth Annual
- 8:24Speaker 4: Grammy Awards will take place Sunday, February first, in twenty
- 8:28Speaker 4: twenty six at Crypto dot Com Arena in Los Angeles,
- 8:31Speaker 4: and nominations are set to be announced on Friday, November
- 8:34Speaker 4: seventh of this year. National SC has launched a cool
- 8:38Speaker 4: new program for locals only. I love this so much.
- 8:41Speaker 4: You can see a National SC soccer game for free
- 8:44Speaker 4: when you sign up for their locals only program. So
- 8:47Speaker 4: you can sign up on our website. It takes like
- 8:49Speaker 4: a full minute to do so, and they'll send you
- 8:51Speaker 4: texts for eligible matches and you can claim up to
- 8:54Speaker 4: two free tickets for your first match all on them,
- 8:57Speaker 4: so you'll get one free match to go see National
- 8:59Speaker 4: sca on National SC if you are a local, It's
- 9:03Speaker 4: really quick. I signed up myself. You just put in
- 9:05Speaker 4: your full name, your email address, your phone number, and
- 9:08Speaker 4: then your zip code, so they just kind of make
- 9:10Speaker 4: sure that you are actually local and then you have
- 9:13Speaker 4: access to the match all good stuff. You can find
- 9:15Speaker 4: that on their website. And gen Z they love nostalgia.
- 9:20Speaker 4: Gen Z they love the millennial things that we have
- 9:23Speaker 4: gone through and experienced, and they've been bringing a lot
- 9:26Speaker 4: of those things back. The latest one is BlackBerry's So
- 9:30Speaker 4: they love.
- 9:30Speaker 3: Our nostalgia like things they weren't even around, things.
- 9:33Speaker 4: They don't even know any okay anything about. But the
- 9:35Speaker 4: hashtag hashtag BlackBerry on TikTok has over one hundred and
- 9:39Speaker 4: twenty five thousand posts with a bunch of users sharing
- 9:43Speaker 4: clips on their BlackBerry fines and they are just flat
- 9:46Speaker 4: up fascinated by the BlackBerry.
- 9:47Speaker 6: Wow.
- 9:48Speaker 4: Yeah, which I know a lot of millennials would love
- 9:50Speaker 4: to bring their BlackBerry back. I have so many friends
- 9:53Speaker 4: who are like, I want my BlackBerry again. They miss it.
- 9:55Speaker 2: Well, I mean, that's a whole other conversation because our
- 9:58Speaker 2: smartphones have rotted our brains y.
- 10:00Speaker 4: And BlackBerry was kind of the start of that in
- 10:02Speaker 4: a way, but not as intense, not nearly as not
- 10:05Speaker 4: as intense as iPhones and things like that. Just yet
- 10:08Speaker 4: but that's the new thing that gen z is obsessed
- 10:10Speaker 4: with blackberries. To give you a nice let's get this morning.
- 10:13Speaker 4: I'm Rick Sanchez, and those are the three things you
- 10:15Speaker 4: need to know.
- 10:16Speaker 3: What was that game? Was it Snake Snakes on too?
- 10:20Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 10:20Speaker 2: All the time there was brick Breaker. I think I
- 10:23Speaker 2: had on a BlackBerry. Man, those are the good old days.
- 10:25Speaker 3: Right after Alex Warren. We're gonna learn together on this
- 10:28Speaker 3: Friday morning. Zach is here. He's got a fact. Zax
- 10:30Speaker 3: facts is what we call it.
- 10:32Speaker 7: Next on the River, Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning.
- 10:36Speaker 3: Ricky, it's Friday. Should we do it?
- 10:38Speaker 4: We should do it?
- 10:39Speaker 7: Okay?
- 10:40Speaker 3: Five six, five, six, seven eight.
- 10:42Speaker 4: ZAX gotafact, ZAX got effect, ZEX got effect just for you.
- 10:46Speaker 4: On seven five the River.
- 10:48Speaker 10: I feel like I've been lied to my entire life
- 10:50Speaker 10: because canned baked beans are not actually baked. I just
- 10:54Speaker 10: learned this this morning. Apparently they're put in the can
- 10:56Speaker 10: and then they're steamed. That's how they're cooked in the can.
- 11:00Speaker 10: They're not even baked. I smell a class action loss.
- 11:02Speaker 5: Yeah, they're not baked things.
- 11:04Speaker 4: Zach is distraught, he's getting sweaty, done with them.
- 11:11Speaker 5: They are not baked in the oven. They are esteemed
- 11:13Speaker 5: in the canning process. And there your fact of the day.
- 11:17Speaker 5: Be mad with me all day.
- 11:18Speaker 7: Long, Ricky Zach And in the morning, I hope you
- 11:23Speaker 7: guys are ready.
- 11:23Speaker 4: We're about to get into the leftovers on one oh
- 11:25Speaker 4: seven five the River. These are stories that just didn't
- 11:28Speaker 4: make the show this week. So each of us are
- 11:30Speaker 4: gonna get thirty seconds to explain our story and be
- 11:34Speaker 4: done with it.
- 11:34Speaker 3: Yeah, so I've got to stop watching.
- 11:36Speaker 4: You can go first, Rick, I like it, okay. Mine
- 11:41Speaker 4: are the little things that annoy Americans the most. So
- 11:45Speaker 4: people get very upset by dumb little things. It's just
- 11:47Speaker 4: the way that it is like a knock on the
- 11:49Speaker 4: front door, yum. That is when you're not expecting anyone,
- 11:52Speaker 4: especially if you have a dog. The number two most
- 11:57Speaker 4: annoying thing for people. Nearly half the people that were
- 12:02Speaker 4: surveyed about this admit that spotting a person they'd much
- 12:05Speaker 4: rather avoid stresses them out. That is the number one
- 12:08Speaker 4: most annoying thing that they experience on a daily basis.
- 12:11Speaker 3: Every day see someone they.
- 12:13Speaker 4: Don't want to see. So seeing someone you don't want
- 12:14Speaker 4: to see and getting a knock on the door when
- 12:17Speaker 4: you didn't expect anybody to be there. Are the two
- 12:19Speaker 4: most annoying things you could do to anybody you've.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Seen at your thirty seconds. I like it, Thank you, Ricky.
- 12:24Speaker 4: It's really is Kevin in this little box.
- 12:27Speaker 2: I put my head down and run for the elevator
- 12:29Speaker 2: every day. Afterward, I just don't.
- 12:30Speaker 10: Chuck anybody who Let's go next, Zach, I'll go for
- 12:33Speaker 10: it all right. Okay, So eighty five percent of Americans
- 12:35Speaker 10: say they do some wasteful spinning. So I kind of
- 12:37Speaker 10: wanted to talk about, like what people are spending their
- 12:40Speaker 10: money on, and the number one thing that people are
- 12:42Speaker 10: spending their money on is impulse shopping online.
- 12:45Speaker 4: That's me.
- 12:46Speaker 10: Yeah, that is me. And then also online ads, that's me.
- 12:51Speaker 10: I fall for every single one of them, every TikTok
- 12:53Speaker 10: ad you get, every single one. And then the other
- 12:55Speaker 10: ones are like frequently eating out and regularly dumping leftovers.
- 12:59Speaker 5: That's he's supposed to.
- 13:00Speaker 4: Be to Kevin. Yeah, frequently getting out leading her a
- 13:03Speaker 4: tuckle almost every day.
- 13:05Speaker 5: I just wanted to talk about that.
- 13:07Speaker 2: I do love Ladybird Taco And that's funny you said
- 13:10Speaker 2: the leftovers and the leftovers.
- 13:12Speaker 3: Wow, what we call this this bit here.
- 13:14Speaker 4: Okay, keV Dog, it's your church, all right.
- 13:16Speaker 3: I've got myself watch going.
- 13:17Speaker 2: I wanted to talk about the Marico Aochi phenomenon. This
- 13:20Speaker 2: has come up in two different social circles for me
- 13:22Speaker 2: in the last week. You guys were around for one
- 13:24Speaker 2: of them. But it is the urge. This is a
- 13:26Speaker 2: real thing to go to the bathroom number two, when
- 13:30Speaker 2: you're shopping, like if you're in a bookstore or Target.
- 13:33Speaker 3: People get hit with the urge to go to the bathroom.
- 13:35Speaker 2: There's something about the certain smell of the store or
- 13:38Speaker 2: the quiet and peaceful atmosphere.
- 13:40Speaker 3: It just gets your digestive juices flowing.
- 13:42Speaker 5: But why is it at all that?
- 13:44Speaker 3: I think the woman that discovered this was that was
- 13:47Speaker 3: her name.
- 13:47Speaker 4: I don't like digestive juices.
- 13:49Speaker 5: I don't apologize for that part.
- 13:51Speaker 2: But it's a real thing, and you know, different settings
- 13:53Speaker 2: for different people. So I would be curious to figure
- 13:56Speaker 2: out where people get hit with this.
- 13:58Speaker 4: Zach is the shoe store?
- 13:59Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 14:00Speaker 5: Oh, really love you every time?
- 14:03Speaker 4: I know that? And Kevin, is it the grocery store
- 14:06Speaker 4: for you?
- 14:07Speaker 7: Uh?
- 14:07Speaker 3: No, I think Target for me?
- 14:09Speaker 4: Target?
- 14:09Speaker 3: Someone about Target.
- 14:10Speaker 4: I don't experience this. You really don't, not that I've noticed.
- 14:13Speaker 4: So now you pay more attention to you.
- 14:16Speaker 3: All right, there's the leftovers.
- 14:17Speaker 7: That's it, Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning.
- 14:21Speaker 4: Happy Friday. It is the last day for us to
- 14:25Speaker 4: play Kevin Manno's game of the day Kick It on
- 14:28Speaker 4: one O seven five the River. This has just been
- 14:31Speaker 4: the silliest game.
- 14:33Speaker 3: Yeah, Wendy Nolan's Ville, Good morning. How you doing?
- 14:36Speaker 9: I'm awesome. How are you today?
- 14:38Speaker 3: Well?
- 14:38Speaker 2: Good, we're happy. It's Friday. We're happy that kick It
- 14:41Speaker 2: ends in just a couple of minutes.
- 14:42Speaker 7: Here.
- 14:43Speaker 3: What are you doing this weekend? Anything fun? Oh? Good?
- 14:48Speaker 3: Are you?
- 14:48Speaker 4: Do?
- 14:48Speaker 3: You have like kids with a guy? What a weird
- 14:51Speaker 3: way of asking that? Or you celebrated? Is your focus
- 14:55Speaker 3: going to be your father or your spouse? That is
- 14:57Speaker 3: my question.
- 14:59Speaker 8: Well, I am celebrating my own father.
- 15:01Speaker 9: But I have a.
- 15:01Speaker 8: Husband who's a great husband and an amazing dad. I
- 15:05Speaker 8: have three kids and they're twenty two, eighteen, and sixteen,
- 15:09Speaker 8: and we're gonna have a fun weekend.
- 15:11Speaker 3: Oh that's awesome.
- 15:12Speaker 4: Good for you guys.
- 15:13Speaker 3: Love that. We're gonna play this game right now.
- 15:15Speaker 2: If you win, you get these tickets to this fieful
- 15:17Speaker 2: World Cup match at g otis.
- 15:19Speaker 3: You got to get two out of three of these questions, right.
- 15:20Speaker 8: Okay, okay, that would be amazing.
- 15:23Speaker 3: I have to ask, are you ready to kick it?
- 15:25Speaker 8: I am ready to kick it?
- 15:27Speaker 3: All right, let's go, here we go. Game starts right now, Wendy.
- 15:31Speaker 2: A bucket list is a list of things one wants
- 15:34Speaker 2: to accomplish before they what remember the theme.
- 15:39Speaker 4: Yeah, kick the bucket, Okay, well done.
- 15:45Speaker 2: In nineteen eighty nine, Motley Crue released a song called
- 15:48Speaker 2: kickstart My blank.
- 15:52Speaker 8: Oh no, my son will be really disappointed in me.
- 16:00Speaker 3: It's not kickstart my son will be really disappointed in man.
- 16:03Speaker 8: I kickstart my engines.
- 16:05Speaker 2: Oh no, no no, it's kickstart my heart, heart my heart.
- 16:09Speaker 9: Okay, okay, that's okay.
- 16:11Speaker 2: You're still alive. You need this to win. I just
- 16:13Speaker 2: want to say, nobody has lost this game all week.
- 16:15Speaker 4: Don't make her more nervous.
- 16:16Speaker 2: Kevin on what famous roadway are you invited to?
- 16:22Speaker 3: Quote?
- 16:22Speaker 2: Get your kicks? Get your kicks on? Yeah, day, congratulations,
- 16:32Speaker 2: and that concludes.
- 16:32Speaker 4: Kick it congratulations, Wendy. I also love that you laughed
- 16:36Speaker 4: through this entire game, because you know how ridiculous it is.
- 16:39Speaker 4: But you one tickets to the FIFA World Cup at
- 16:41Speaker 4: Jiodahs Park June twentieth.
- 16:43Speaker 8: You guys are amazing. Thank you, thank you.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Thank you, Oh, thank you for listening. Have a great
- 16:48Speaker 2: weekend with the family, and thank you for being here.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Thank you three thanks you Friday friends, thank you so
- 16:54Speaker 2: much for being here.
- 16:55Speaker 3: We're thrilled it's Friday.
- 16:57Speaker 2: We're pumped, We're excited or stand Ricky's got those three things.
- 17:01Speaker 4: Dua Lipa is engaged. She confirmed to British Vogue that
- 17:05Speaker 4: she and Callum Turner are officially engaged. Rumors of them
- 17:09Speaker 4: dating started back in twenty twenty four, with rumors of
- 17:12Speaker 4: an engagement flying around the end of last year when
- 17:14Speaker 4: she had posted pictures where fans noticed she was wearing
- 17:18Speaker 4: a very special ring on a very special finger. So
- 17:21Speaker 4: when talking about her engagement, she said, quote, it's nice
- 17:24Speaker 4: to know the person that you're going to spend the
- 17:26Speaker 4: rest of your life with knows you very well when
- 17:28Speaker 4: she was talking about her ring. So congrats to her
- 17:31Speaker 4: and Callum. Obviously, all good vibes sending their way. Apparently
- 17:36Speaker 4: rent is going down in Nashville. They're saying as of May,
- 17:42Speaker 4: the median rent for a national area apartment dropped to
- 17:45Speaker 4: one five and forty dollars a month, which is a
- 17:48Speaker 4: three point four percent decrease from the year before. According
- 17:52Speaker 4: to Redfinn, Nashville is then one of the twenty eight
- 17:56Speaker 4: metros in the report to see a year over year
- 17:58Speaker 4: decline an apartment rent. I don't know where the heck
- 18:01Speaker 4: they're looking, but it ain't where I'm looking.
- 18:03Speaker 3: You're not seeing that.
- 18:04Speaker 4: I am not seeing that. So maybe you know, just
- 18:07Speaker 4: keep your eyes out for the cheaper apartments if you're
- 18:10Speaker 4: like me and you're looking, because apparently they're there, I
- 18:12Speaker 4: just don't know where.
- 18:13Speaker 3: If you find one, send it, please do.
- 18:16Speaker 4: And new peaches and Cream Mountain Dew is coming to KFC.
- 18:20Speaker 4: This one sounds really interesting. It's all inspired by the
- 18:24Speaker 4: viral dirty soda trend that's been going around, so they
- 18:29Speaker 4: teamed up with KFC for the Sweet Lightning flavor, which
- 18:33Speaker 4: is peaches and cream. So they say that it's got
- 18:35Speaker 4: like a honey creamsicle with summer vibes kind of thing
- 18:38Speaker 4: going on for it. It's available for a limited time, obviously,
- 18:42Speaker 4: go try it out if you really like the dirty
- 18:44Speaker 4: soda trend and you want to get something that's along
- 18:46Speaker 4: those lines, but don't want to go to a place
- 18:48Speaker 4: that you might have to stand in line for six hours.
- 18:51Speaker 4: Try it out at KFC. I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those
- 18:53Speaker 4: are the three things you need to know.
- 18:57Speaker 7: Reiky, Zach and Meno in the morning.
- 18:59Speaker 4: I don't know if you've looked at calendar today, but
- 19:01Speaker 4: it's Friday the thirteenth today. Dominous, very superstitious. Lots of
- 19:07Speaker 4: people think that bad things happen on Friday the thirteenth
- 19:09Speaker 4: because the number thirteen is like not a positive number.
- 19:13Speaker 4: So we want to talk a little bit about superstitions
- 19:15Speaker 4: on one O seven five the river.
- 19:17Speaker 3: It doesn't have to be tied to this date.
- 19:19Speaker 2: Like if there are any superstitions that you believe in,
- 19:22Speaker 2: like wearing your team's shirt during the game or whatever,
- 19:25Speaker 2: stuff like that.
- 19:25Speaker 4: Yeah, silly superstitions, serious ones. Obviously, people have family ones too. Yeah,
- 19:30Speaker 4: you have ones that get passed down. You know, maybe
- 19:32Speaker 4: your grandma passed out a superstition to you that she
- 19:35Speaker 4: used to always say, Oh, don't do it that way,
- 19:36Speaker 4: because this will happen.
- 19:37Speaker 10: I mean, Kevin found two pennies at the gas station
- 19:39Speaker 10: this morning, and I said, where.
- 19:40Speaker 5: They heads up? That means good luck. Yes, the superstition.
- 19:43Speaker 3: One was heads up, one was heads down, so.
- 19:45Speaker 4: I think it bounces out.
- 19:46Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, six, one seven, three seven nine, one oh seven.
- 19:51Speaker 3: Any superstitions that you believe in? We want to hear
- 19:53Speaker 3: about one seven.
- 19:54Speaker 7: Five Ricky, Zach and men in the morning.
- 19:57Speaker 2: Oh seven five the river. Happy Friday, thirteenth friends.
- 20:01Speaker 3: Very superstitious day.
- 20:02Speaker 2: So we are curious what superstitions everybody believes in. Bryson
- 20:06Speaker 2: in Mount Juliet, Good morning, welcome to the river.
- 20:09Speaker 9: Hey, how are y'all?
- 20:10Speaker 4: We're good? Tell us the superstition that you believe in?
- 20:13Speaker 9: Okay, So one that I've always heard, that's I think
- 20:16Speaker 9: pretty common, would be like if a black cat crosses
- 20:19Speaker 9: your path.
- 20:20Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, that's what.
- 20:21Speaker 9: I've always believed in. But my friend told me if
- 20:23Speaker 9: you put an X, like if you lick your finger
- 20:26Speaker 9: and you draw an X on the windshield, like if
- 20:28Speaker 9: it passes in front of you in a car, then
- 20:30Speaker 9: it takes it away.
- 20:31Speaker 4: Oh interesting, Okay, so here's bad question.
- 20:35Speaker 2: Then your friend taught you this. You do it if
- 20:38Speaker 2: you see the black cat? Do you actually believe in
- 20:42Speaker 2: any of it?
- 20:42Speaker 4: Though?
- 20:43Speaker 9: I think I think I do. Like a hat on
- 20:46Speaker 9: the bed and stuff.
- 20:47Speaker 4: I know that's bad luck. You can't put your hat
- 20:49Speaker 4: on the bed.
- 20:50Speaker 3: I put my hand on the bed.
- 20:51Speaker 4: That explains a lot. Kevin, No, all right, thank you
- 21:00Speaker 4: for calling embracing. We appreciate it. I've never heard about
- 21:02Speaker 4: the X on the windshield. I think I would end
- 21:04Speaker 4: up starting to do that.
- 21:06Speaker 9: Yeah, y'all have a good day, you too.
- 21:09Speaker 2: I mean, I don't want to just like, uh, make
- 21:12Speaker 2: people feel crazy, but it's it's nonsense.
- 21:15Speaker 4: That's what you say. But you put your hat on
- 21:16Speaker 4: the bed every day.
- 21:17Speaker 2: Like I know I do, because it doesn't matter like
- 21:20Speaker 2: a lunatic Hailey and Russellville, good morning.
- 21:22Speaker 3: What superstitions do you believe in?
- 21:24Speaker 5: A good morning?
- 21:25Speaker 6: So if I don't make my bed in the morning,
- 21:29Speaker 6: I won't be able to sleep at all the next night.
- 21:31Speaker 4: Oh I've never heard that I have to make.
- 21:36Speaker 10: Have you tested the theory of like if you don't
- 21:38Speaker 10: make your bed, do you actually not sleep well the
- 21:41Speaker 10: next night?
- 21:42Speaker 8: It's just my mom, that's me.
- 21:44Speaker 9: So I'm like, I'm laying here and I can't sleep
- 21:46Speaker 9: when you quick and make my bed.
- 21:48Speaker 2: Of Yeah, that was a self fulfilling prophecy. Because if
- 21:50Speaker 2: you believe that then you're just gonna keep yourself away.
- 21:53Speaker 4: Yeah, or whatever you say.
- 21:54Speaker 5: Guys.
- 21:54Speaker 4: It also could just be the superstition. It's true, it
- 21:57Speaker 4: could be real, Hailey.
- 21:59Speaker 3: Thank you for holl Did you make your bed today?
- 22:01Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 22:02Speaker 3: Of course, good. Have a great weekend.
- 22:06Speaker 2: I love I mean, like, I don't know, I just
- 22:09Speaker 2: even sports stuff when people think like, oh, I have
- 22:12Speaker 2: to sit on this spot in the couch or else
- 22:14Speaker 2: the team's gonna lose, Like.
- 22:16Speaker 3: No, not even a little bit. Give credit to the
- 22:18Speaker 3: players on the field. You're not doing anything from home.
- 22:21Speaker 4: I don't know. AJ wears his specific met shirt during
- 22:24Speaker 4: the playoffs, and I get that.
- 22:26Speaker 2: It makes him feel good, but he can't actually inside
- 22:29Speaker 2: think he is controlling anything.
- 22:30Speaker 3: I don't know men does.
- 22:32Speaker 5: Think he is.
- 22:33Speaker 10: I get so annoyed when people are like yelling at
- 22:35Speaker 10: the TV during sports games.
- 22:36Speaker 5: I'm like, you know, they can't hear you, right.
- 22:38Speaker 4: That's differ than a superstition, though.
- 22:39Speaker 5: Kind of the same thing. No, yeah, your shirt is
- 22:42Speaker 5: not changing the game.
- 22:43Speaker 4: You don't know that. You don't know that, And also,
- 22:46Speaker 4: don't you dare tell Aj that?
- 22:50Speaker 7: Rickie, Zach and Meno in the morning.
- 22:52Speaker 4: Christie and Hickman County welcome to one oh seven five
- 22:55Speaker 4: the river tell us the superstition you believe in?
- 22:58Speaker 6: The superstition I believe in. And if you're going somewhere
- 23:03Speaker 6: and you leave the house and you forgot something and
- 23:05Speaker 6: you have to go back, you have to sit down
- 23:08Speaker 6: and count to ten before you leave again.
- 23:10Speaker 4: What interesting?
- 23:12Speaker 3: Why is that? Where does this come from? Who'd you
- 23:14Speaker 3: learn it from?
- 23:15Speaker 6: I learned it from my mother. Because if you forgot
- 23:18Speaker 6: something and you leave, maybe you've missed an accident or
- 23:22Speaker 6: you've missed something happening on the road.
- 23:25Speaker 4: Butterfly facts.
- 23:26Speaker 2: And I like that line of thinking, but I don't
- 23:28Speaker 2: get the ten seconds because going back to the house
- 23:31Speaker 2: to get the thing, that's what's averting the accident.
- 23:34Speaker 6: Well, if you sit down for and count a ten,
- 23:37Speaker 6: you might have been in the accident.
- 23:39Speaker 4: Okay, it's a butterfly fact. It's like every action that
- 23:42Speaker 4: you make has a reaction later on.
- 23:44Speaker 2: And it's a very positive way to frame little negative thing.
- 23:50Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah.
- 23:50Speaker 2: If something slows you down, instead of the only oh man,
- 23:53Speaker 2: think of it as a good thing, like, oh, I
- 23:55Speaker 2: possibly avoided something really bad.
- 23:56Speaker 6: Yeah exactly, and it has come through because I have
- 24:01Speaker 6: done that and lay up and there has been an
- 24:05Speaker 6: accident or you know, something on the side of the road.
- 24:08Speaker 6: And I was like, if I would have just been
- 24:10Speaker 6: ten seconds earlier, it could have been made.
- 24:12Speaker 4: Yeah, you never know. That's a good one though. Thank
- 24:14Speaker 4: you for calling in Christy.
- 24:16Speaker 3: Thank you all right, have a great day.
- 24:17Speaker 4: I have a few superstitions that I believe in. Please,
- 24:20Speaker 4: but one of them is if someone calls your name
- 24:23Speaker 4: outside that you're not supposed to answer. What like, if
- 24:28Speaker 4: you're outside and it's nighttime, say you can't see the person,
- 24:31Speaker 4: you shouldn't answer them calling your name, because then they
- 24:34Speaker 4: have access to actually contacting you. If you ignore them,
- 24:37Speaker 4: they can't contact.
- 24:38Speaker 3: You who contact you with an evil spirit?
- 24:40Speaker 4: Much like okay, you watch Sinners, remember the part where
- 24:44Speaker 4: the person was the vampire Okay, and he couldn't come
- 24:48Speaker 4: into the doorway. You're not supposed to welcome people into
- 24:50Speaker 4: your home either. I was yelling at the TV like,
- 24:52Speaker 4: don't let him, like, don't say that he can come
- 24:54Speaker 4: inside the house.
- 24:55Speaker 3: Sinners is not a documentary.
- 24:57Speaker 4: This is.
- 25:00Speaker 3: So if I'm outside, going Ricky.
- 25:03Speaker 4: Ricky an me, if I can see you, I wouldn't
- 25:06Speaker 4: ignore you. But if I can't see you, and if
- 25:08Speaker 4: you don't see anybody around you, you're not supposed to
- 25:10Speaker 4: just answer the random voice.
- 25:12Speaker 3: Got it.
- 25:12Speaker 4: I also believe in maldeojo, which is like a whole
- 25:15Speaker 4: other thing too. Huh what mambojo. It's a huge thing
- 25:20Speaker 4: within like Hispanic communities. It's basically like, you know, a
- 25:24Speaker 4: negative glance at you can mean like negative impacts on
- 25:29Speaker 4: your life. So you're supposed to wear certain jewelry and
- 25:32Speaker 4: stuff like that to ward off the mob.
- 25:33Speaker 2: They'll send me a link for this jewelry because you
- 25:35Speaker 2: give me a lot of negative glasses on a daily basis.
- 25:39Speaker 3: I need to get some necklaces that.
- 25:42Speaker 7: Ricky, Zach and Meno. In the morning, we're about to.
- 25:45Speaker 4: Play you the daily double Tap. This one's thanks to
- 25:47Speaker 4: Zachary wood Word.
- 25:49Speaker 10: I saw it on TikTok and I could not stop
- 25:51Speaker 10: laughing at it. It's like a little girl that she
- 25:53Speaker 10: wants to start learning a new hobby and she's saying
- 25:56Speaker 10: it completely incorrectly, and it is so funny to me.
- 25:59Speaker 2: Why don't you tell us what the hobby is so
- 26:01Speaker 2: that when we hear her mispronounceable know what targeted?
- 26:03Speaker 5: She wants to learn how to crochet?
- 26:05Speaker 3: Okay, okay, here we go. What do you want to
- 26:07Speaker 3: go to Michaels for?
- 26:08Speaker 4: I know you're taking a videosh.
- 26:10Speaker 5: Yeah, but tell me what you want to go to
- 26:12Speaker 5: Michael's for.
- 26:12Speaker 4: No, no, no, I'm not going with you. Tell me, like,
- 26:16Speaker 4: I want to go for crouching.
- 26:17Speaker 1: I want to try it.
- 26:20Speaker 6: What's wrong?
- 26:20Speaker 1: Was crouching? Do you even know what crotching is? It's
- 26:27Speaker 1: like sewing. It's where you use sicker yarn and like you.
- 26:33Speaker 4: Can make blankets and like keep wish that animals.
- 26:37Speaker 8: What is it called crouching?
- 26:41Speaker 5: I don't know why. It's so funny to me.
- 26:44Speaker 2: Laugh at her pronouncing, but it's crouching is a very
- 26:48Speaker 2: funny word.
- 26:49Speaker 4: It's also not just the word, but the fact that
- 26:51Speaker 4: she was like, do you even know what crouching? And
- 26:54Speaker 4: it's like, ma'am, you're the one that's correct here.
- 26:56Speaker 5: I don't think you know what it is.
- 26:58Speaker 2: We've all had those words where you only read it,
- 27:00Speaker 2: you've never heard it.
- 27:01Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, oh man.
- 27:04Speaker 4: We say things incorrectly all the time, as we do.
- 27:07Speaker 2: Show post the video on the Instagram stories at one
- 27:09Speaker 2: O seven five the River. The crotcheting video is going
- 27:12Speaker 2: up there in the Instagram Stories that's a good one.
- 27:14Speaker 7: One O seven five the River Ricky, Zach and Meno
- 27:17Speaker 7: in the morning
